Wonderfully done. The waitress was fantastic. They have great teams and anyone is willing to pitch in to support you! The food was very good. The fish a chips was cooked beautifully. Flaky crust on the fish was amazing. Shrimp were great the cocktail was strong but yummy.

A great place to go out with family or friends. We tried many different tapas, and they were all well prepared and fresh. Would most highly recommend the Pork Belly and the Mozzarella Croquettes, which come with a delicious pesto aioli. Outdoor seating is spacious and relaxing. Service is quick and happily accommodated our time crunch. Looking forward to returning!
Gabriella — Google review
Great service but food was middle of the pack. The rice could use some heat and little more seasoning. The potatoes were okay. Everything tasted like it wasn’t freshly made. Good spot not great. Would recommend if you want something casual with friends. Servers are excellent and accommodating. Atmosphere depending where you are sat is nice. The price is not worth it, for most, but they serve massive portions.

Great we will definitely return! Food was rich and the server made a great suggestion and supported my wife and my dining needs for the evening. We left full and satisfied!

Great tapas stop! We stopped in to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. The 4 person tasting option was great (even with 5 people we had plenty of food), I’d recommend that options for a group interested in getting try a good amount of the menu.
Katelyn — Google review
We are glad this place remains a Worcester jewel after almost a decade! The food is great! Though, the fried goat cheese with honey used to be a bit better.
Diego V — Google review
My first visit and we had a wonderful experience here! Wonderful vibe, the server was full of knowledge and answered lots of our questions and made some great suggestions. The option to have a set price for an appetizer, selection of tapas, and a paella was fantastic. The food came out one by one, we never felt rushed and never really wait around. Everything was very good, well seasoned, and cooked properly. We also had some great cocktails, everything on the menu was fresh. We'll absolutely be back... We may have found a new date night spot!
Ryan S — Google review
Let's just start with Anna, our server, who was welcoming, helpful and attentive. We were seated promptly on a Monday evening. Location is easy to get to but the entrance to the validated parking lot ($4 for the duration of our meal) is not directly across from the restaurant. The parking lot entrance is on Harding St. We had three diners who were pretty hungry and told that the bocado experience for two would be more than enough food (choose 2 charcuterie and queso • choose 4 tapas and small paella –OR– 6 tapas • churros y chocolate) and that was definitely true. The standout dishes were the fried goat cheese with honey, bread, jamon de serrano, smoked almonds, braised beef brisket, and seafood paella. Probably won't order the patatas asada, the braised pork belly or the churros again - not bad just not something I would order again. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Nestled in the heart of Worcester, Armsby Abbey is a must-visit destination for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This cozy spot boasts a stunning brick backdrop and an impressive draft list that showcases regional gems, including rare finds from Vermont's renowned Hill Farmstead. But don’t be fooled by the extensive beer selection; Armsby Abbey also excels in its gastropub offerings.
5 Stars! I cannot say enough good things about the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome — they were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure every guest had a wonderful time. You could tell they loved what they do, and it made the atmosphere feel even more inviting. Now, let’s talk about the food — unbelievable. Every dish was crafted with such care and attention to flavor that you could taste the passion behind it. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. But the true highlight for me was the waffle I ordered. It was pure perfection — golden on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of crispiness. Every bite was a little piece of heaven! Whether you like your waffles simple or loaded with toppings, they’ve absolutely mastered the art of it. If you’re thinking about visiting, do yourself a favor and GO. Between the incredible staff, the top-tier food, and that unforgettable waffle, it’s the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you even leave.

This a quaint little place . It sounded like you can make reservations but we were walk in on a Tuesday night. It was busy enough that the only seating left was side by Side at a community table. Menu has many options without being overwhelming. Some of the sauces are lacking a little flavor, and I was a little disappointed by the size of the double patty burger but over all it was good food. The prices made sense and the portions were pretty close to what I’d expect. This is a great spot for date night, meeting family or friends. I wouldn’t recommend for children though. Staff was friendly and mostly attentive. We did have to wait about 45m to 1hr for our food and the waitress took about 40 min to tell us it would be a few more minutes that ended up being about 10 more minutes. I might consider visiting again during a less busy time.

Great spot for some cool food. Menu was varied and had a bunch of everything. We visited during restaurant week and tried the specials. Deliciousness.
J P — Google review
The wings were not a good flavor and they were not traditional style wings which was weird. Very little meat on them. Service was okay. Atmosphere is small. Drinks were good.

We’ve been in this place twice and every time gets satisfied with the food and service. Their Smashed burgers are the best and highly recommended!
Aref A — Google review
Tried out Armsby Abbey for brunch today. Was very disappointed with the service and prices. We got there and we're seated 20 minutes before the waitress came over. The food tasted good not steller and the prices for what they give you for portions weren't great. Again food tasted good but wouldn't visit for brunch again.
Maria A — Google review
I’ve been telling people, “I hear they have the best mac and cheese in Worcester” only to go here and be disappointed when I finally tried it myself! The shells and sauce were not at all consistent, the croutons were filled with oil from the melting cheese on top, and there was no strong flavor besides the crisp edges of cheese falling over the edge of the cup! It resembled an at-home creation, and my quest for the best mac and cheese continues. We also had the chicken and the eggplant sandwiches, which were also just OK. The fries were nice and crispy. The wings were giant and had a lot of meat on them. Our drinks were excellent! I got the seasonal Charli’s Apples drink and it was super refreshing and tasteful, like taking a bite out of a green apple. I anticipate coming back, but only for a drink, or perhaps for brunch.
Caitlin — Google review
The vibes here are great. The food, not so much. Went around 8pm on Wednesday. Got their wings, brussel sprouts and bread for appetizers. Wings were bland. Brussel sprouts were good. Bread was pretty good. For meal, got their muhammara and burger. Muhammara sandwich was disappointing. Lacking in flavor and bread to other ingredients ratio was bad. Too much bread. For drinks, got pennecillin, grapefruit cocktail. They tasted good but are very watered down. Not hard enough. Quite expensive for what we're getting. Interior is really nice.

Baba Sushi is a top-notch sushi spot in Worcester, MA, known for its sophisticated sushi and sashimi creations served in a trendy setting with modern decor. The restaurant has garnered multiple awards from various publications, solidifying its reputation as the best sushi place in town. Despite the intimate dining space, the quality of the sushi and sashimi remains consistently excellent.
We had such a great time here! The ginger chicken, beef tori, and special rolls were all delicious, seriously some of the best Japanese food we’ve had in a while. Our server was super friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience even better. Only thing to note is the limited parking, but it’s definitely worth it once you’re inside.
Telan N — Google review
Based on reviews, this is one of the best sushi places in the area. I went there last night for the 1st time. I stood at the host stand for a good 2 minutes before acknowledgment while the host stood there talking to a customer on the phone. He wasn't pleasant in any way, but he seemed more robotic and didn't care much to be welcoming anyone. He seated me, but again, I didn't feel any warmth . Our server was a bit more pleasant but also seemed rushed. There is no attention much to detail. The sushi's were tasty, but I wouldn't rave. I've had better, but yes, I'd recommend it. The atmosphere was full and buzzing for a Friday night. Average price rolls and menu options . Parking was next door and seems to be enough. The ambiance of the place was ok, one bathroom available, which seems to cause a wait, I'm sure, at times. I liked the food overall but just not a WOW for me. I enjoyed the ginger ice cream!

The best sushi in the city. Especially their fancy rolls are the best. It is a hands down. The staff are very welcoming and friendly! If you haven't tried their sushi’s yet, it’s a miss!

WOW! First time going to Baba Sushi and it did not disappoint! While the restaurant is small and has a bit of tight spaces between tables, the food and ambiance makes up for all of it! I realized I’m not a fan of Sake, but we had the prickly pear and my friend loved it! It was a good experience to try something new and it was a cold sake. THEN, we ordered the poke chips and I can’t explain how much I can’t wait to go back for these things. Mashed with tuna and avocado and other things, it has the perfect pallets of taste. (I think it’s cute it’s on a Pringle) and for some reason it works!!!! My favorite menu item so far. We also had two rolled sushi rollls. Tigers eye was my pick and while it was unconventional it truly was a winner in my book! Service was excellent and our server (wish I could remember the name) was excellent! A truly great first impression. I can’t wait to go back!
Cynthia M — Google review
Andreyna is an amazing server, adding knowledge and expertise to our ordering; adding sweet potato to our maki roll was incredible! The food was delivered to us hot, fast, and FRESH. Always love feeling welcomed at Baba, will always come back ready to eat!
Meghan S — Google review
Now, one of my favorite sushi places to hit up, the only problem is… it’s out of state. There is a good amount of parking here, so there shouldn’t be any trouble, the only trouble is getting in and grabbing a table, especially on a busy night or during any events. I was seated rather quickly but it was just me, so that probably helped. The staff as well as the people that go here are kind and outgoing. The staff helped anytime I had questions and welcomed me in with open arms and they were quite efficient, and I never had to go out of my way to ask for assistance. Everything I tried here was delicious. I tried your typical options, and they surpassed expectations. The oysters were wonderful, sushi is on point, and they do have a full bar, so don’t be afraid, just let it go and get everything you want, might be slightly pricey but it’s great and worth the cost. Everything tasted fresh and don’t’ you just love tasting and paying for fresh? If you haven’t tried this place, what are you waiting for? Maybe you will find your new go-to sushi spot.
M N — Google review
I’ve ordered takeout sushi here for quite sometime now. I can say that they do have very good sushi and I’ll continue to order from them. I can really comment on the other dishes, seeing that I only really come here for sushi. I’ve also dined in with a friend once. It wasn’t too busy when we went so finding a table was easy. The service was awesome! Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. She also knew my friend was expecting and wrote a cute little note on her plate, it was so cute. I definitely recommend coming here and trying it out!
Brittney M — Google review
Excellent service from our waiter Johnson! He made the night extra pleasant becoz of his friendliness, attentiveness and hospitality. The specialty menu: Seared/ torched scallops with special sauce!!! The order came with four decent sized scallops! The texture and freshness of them blew me away!!! Would just come back for this!!! Must get if you see them on the menu!! Beef tataki- they were a bit too thin sliced to my liking. Wasabi mustard ish sauce was ok. I would prefer beef tataki to be served more like a refreshing ponzu soy based kind of dipping! This appetizer was just a B. Though the beef was nicely done medium rare!!! Sushi for two was plentiful! Love the albacore, salmon and dragon rolls with shrimp temp stood out the most. Everything was fresh and sweet! Delicious meal! Rice was done almost perfectly... could have been more balanced with a bit more sushi rice vinegar though! The only complaint was the Ikura! They didn't marinate them with soy and sake! The roes were a bit too fishy for my preference. Overall, the service was outstanding! The cozy vibe in that extra back room was nice! Heating from the ceilings made the room super warm! Would definitely come back for more sushi! Early dining definitely would be better since they have tons of take out orders.

Restaurant
Located in Worcester, deadhorse hill is a New American dining room set in a former hilltop hotel. The restaurant's co-owner, Sean Woods, preserved the historical foundations of the 160-year-old space during renovations. The name "deadhorse" pays homage to the worn-out horses that traveled through early Worcester. Chef Jared Forman brings his fine-dining expertise from renowned NYC restaurants to create farm-to-table dishes like suckling pig croquettes and lobster Benedict.
Boston area native’s first time dining in Worcester and I am so pleased, deadhorse hill was wonderful. The decor and interior vibes go well with the fantastically fresh and beautifully plated food and welcoming service. Huge shoutout to our server Emily who made my birthday celebration extra special and took great care of us. She sent out an extra app for us to try as well as comped our dessert. The food was phenomenal really but what stood out the most was the dessert, which was a soft serve ice cream and sorbet twist but not just any….grana padano (cheese) flavor soft serve ice cream and chocolate pear sorbet with a balsamic reduction drizzled over top. Now having that for my bday with a candle on it was too fun! I can’t wait to come back here and try the new seasonal menu items as they rotate in.
Rachel I — Google review
Food: their menu is selective with high-quality ingredients as well as a rotating schedule when visiting. Just wanted to try the oysters, and they picked these from Maine, which had a very saltwater taste but good meat size. I definitely would come back here to try other food options. The drinks were fine, we got a Cosmo and espresso martini. I kinda expected a little bit more from it, but there’s nothing wrong with classic making. Service: there is a 20% gratuity added on already when you start your bill. I think that’s great to make sure that the staff is paid, but I hope that the service is still up to part when that is installed. The bartenders were fine, there’s at least two of them going around making rounds to make sure we’re doing good. Ambiance: it’s gives rather a sophistic way of going to a restaurant that follows certain protocols to make it unique as they only open for a certain days and hours. It’s rather dark inside, but that’s what gives it the nightly tune for dinner. Location accommodation: they don’t take any reservations or do takeout. The parking around the area isn’t too bad if you can find side parking, but there is a parking lot right across
V — Google review
The food and service here were both excellent (huge shoutout to our server Willie for taking amazing care of us!), but the wait time was way too long. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we had a show at 7:00, and we didn’t get our food until 6:30. The restaurant was clearly not prepared for the level of people coming in. For the food, the caesar salad was tasty—great size and good croutons. For our entrees, I would easily order any of them again. The risotto, burger, and scallops (listed in order of preference) were all delicious. I loved the apple in the risotto and that goat cheese was to die for. The burger was perfectly cooked with great pickles. The scallops went well with the grapefruit (love that combo!). For the service, Willie checked in on us and gave us updates on how our food was coming. He felt bad for the wait and not only brought us additional fries, but also brought over some mango sorbet, which might have been my favorite of the 3 desserts (chocolate chip cookies were soft and warm by the way, and while I didn’t love the chocolate cake, the homemade whipped cream was very good). We were very appreciative of the info he gave us about dessert, so we were still able to order some and make the show on time. For the atmosphere, it was definitely loud and after an hour, it got very warm (part of the reason the mango sorbet was so refreshing!). Tables and chairs were comfortable enough (the plate the burger came on was a bit small though). Overall, the experience was a 4/5 because of the wait times, the noise, and the atmosphere, but the food and service were both clearly the highlights and would be the reason to bring me back… just maybe not before a show!

Great food and great experience. This restaurant offers a very good food quality and flavors. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I do recommend the pork chops. You can't go wrong with that. My friend had the picanha, it was really good too.
Fernando C — Google review
Absolutely fantastic cocktails, food, wine pairing, and service. We went for the "feast of the seven fishes" and were blown away -- four "courses," but each courses consists of 2-3 dishes served family style, so we actually had 9 dishes (the seven "fishes" plus two desserts). Every single dish was outstanding! My only very minor complaint is that the restaurant is on the loud side -- we couldn't always hear each other across the table. If it were up to me, I'd install a bit of acoustic dampening material and turn down the pounding music.
Marie D — Google review
My oh my! Brunch at the Deadhorse Grill was excellent. The atmosphere is great and super clean. All the wait staff was clean and sharp looking. Our waiter did a fantastic job and let us stay very long and was super attentive. The food was on point. My wife joined me and had the soft scramble eggs. She just absolutely demolished her portion. I had to tell her multiple times to slow down while eating. I decided to eat the French toast and now I will be full for 3 days. It was so big and so darn good! I highly recommend this place!
Joseph T — Google review
I would recommend booking a table in advance to avoid waiting. We waited about 20 minutes for a table and the wait was worth it! The drinks were great and the food was delicious. Steven was our bartender and he was so nice! Thank you for having us 🥰

Incredible food, drinks, and vibes! Definitely recommend the duck pierogi and the tuna tartare. For brunch, the bananas foster pancakes are unreal. Love the cute, kitschy decor, tableware and glassware. They also have gender neutral restrooms, which is great.

Dalat Restaurant is a relaxed and friendly establishment that specializes in traditional Vietnamese fare. This down-to-earth eatery offers a variety of classic dishes, including rice vermicelli noodle soups and other authentic specialties. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a delightful lunch with loved ones. One must-try dish is the Cha Gio, which consists of freshly made Vietnamese egg rolls that are crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious savory mixture.

A hidden gem in Worcester. I have been coming here for the past 2 years religiously—never had one disappointing meal. A personal favorite is the #18 yellow chicken curry with pork/shrimp fresh rolls on the side, and recently was blown away by the #55 braised pork in fish sauce in a hot pot. Family owned & operated by wonderful people. This is the go-to place for Pho in Worcester.
Elizabeth D — Google review
Pho Dac Biet Xe Lua - Great portion and the soup is good, though not great. It leans on the sweeter side which I prefer a more savory broth. Restaurant - Only condiments readily available is sriracha and chili garlic paste. With pho, toppings include mint, bean sprouts, and a half wedge of lime per bowl of soup. Their prices are probably the best I’ve seen nowadays for pho though. It’s definitely worth the price considering portion-to-price ratio. Staff are kind and welcoming.

Soooo good! Been here twice already & absolutely love it. The owner is always there with his kids & it just feels like you’re eating dinner in their dining room in their home. The atmosphere, kindness of the staff & delicious food makes for a perfect meal, whether alone or with others. Will definitely be going again (& again & again).

This place is a hidden gem. I had the #18 Ban Ga Cai (chicken and curry peanut butter with noodles). It was amazing! It is on my short list of best things I’ve ever eaten. Also had the shrimp and pork wrap appetizer, also amazing.

Wanted to try out a new spot for Vietnamese food and was SO happy with our choice!! We got the shrimp fresh wrap, so fresh and delicious with their incredible homemade peanut sauce, the beef ball pho and the mixed meat pho (#20 and #23). Everything was delicious! The portions were generous and the prices were cheaper than the other spots we’ve tried before. Absolutely recommend this spot, especially because of their efficiency and safety precautions! I swear the owner sanitized his hands three times in our one minute interaction. On a different day we got the Vietnamese combination vermicelli, the jellyfish and shrimp salad, and the young coconut juice with pulp. Everything was fresh and delicious, this is now our go to place for Vietnamese food. Definitely will be ordering from this spot again!

Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
Red Pepper is a Chinese eatery in Worcester that offers a cozy and traditional atmosphere for dining in or taking out. It provides authentic Sichuan cuisine, making it a cut above your average American Chinese fast food joint. This restaurant comes highly recommended for its flavorful dishes, especially if you enjoy spicy food. However, it is advised to reserve a table if you want to try their deep-fried delicacies like the 'L01 Deep fried chicken,' as takeout may compromise their crispiness.
Review based on initial visit for lunch. Ordered off the lunch special menu — General Tso’s chicken with hot and sour soup, steamed rice. Lunch is served with a pot of hot tea. Food was well prepared, tasty and good portion size. The hot and sour soup was really spicy — I like it; but some might opt for the (no red pepper) egg drop or won ton soup. I never order fried rice on a first visit — try the steamed rice: if this is of decent quality and well prepared, the restaurant’s food is likely to get a 4 or better rating. Physically handicapped accessible from parking lot — ramp at side entrance. Street entrance has a step. I’ve tried several Chinese restaurants in Worcester and this is the best one so far, and the only one offering a range of Szechuan dishes. 12/16/24 - raising my food rating to a 5. For Worcester, best Szechuan I have had in the city.
Paul N — Google review
Got some food to share with some friends. Large Wonton soup, Mongolian Beef, fish with soft tofu, green beans, and pea leaves. All of it was amazing. The beef was tender with sweet onions and saucy mushrooms. The fish was very easy to seperate with the chopsticks, but still held together to be picked up. The soft tofu was a great texture and absorbed the sauce well. The pea leaves were fresh and had a light earthy taste. The green beans were cooked perfectly and had a great garlic flavor. The soup had a nice light taste despite looking dark and the wontons held there form and were delicious. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday night, but we were seated right away. We were served black tea immediately. The servers were very busy, but when we got one's attention, they were very friendly and followed our requests for separate bowls and spoons to share the wonton soup. One thing I found unusual was that we had to order water. It was free, so I didn't mind. Will be a regular spot for me. Highly recommend.

I love Mala. This is one of the only places in Worcester where you can order Mala dishes. We got the dry beef hot pot and the Mala pot without fish. Both had very nice spice, I could honestly handle more spicy but my fiancé would probably faint from it. The dry pot was more on the sweeter side, but it still tastes good. Together, the food cost about $50 dollars for both of us, without tip--however, we had two trays worth of leftovers to bring home! The service was sufficient. The staff were friendly, polite, attentive, and sent our food out in a timely manner. The ambiance is very straightforward. It's not just a quick pickup spot where you can pick up the greasy, fried Chinese food, but it's an actual place you can sit down and taste some authentic Chinese dishes. The decor is not the best, but it's very comfortable and casual. We would definitely return with our friends!

Decent Szechuan Chinese. Good flavor. Good portions and pricing.

I have been a regular customer for many years but am not sure if they changed a new chef or used premade dishes now. Somehow some of the traditional dishes were cooked in a new way that’s less authentic and taste very differently. Especially I can’t tell the difference of a beef dish and a pork dish, which were cooked almost the same way and taste the same. Meanwhile, there are less usage of vegetables in a dish than before, while the meat were marinated with too much starches. In general the cooking is less authentic and not that good now.

Highly recommend Red Pepper especially for good Sichuan food, this is a step up above your typical American Chinese fast food restaurant. One of my favorite restaurants in Worcester and go at least every other month. If you like spice this is the place. I would reserve to get any fried dish like their amazing "L01 Deep fried chicken" for dine in only as they do loose their crisp if doing takeout. Some of my favorite dishes so far: - L7 Cumin lamb, L1 fried chicken, E7 shredded beef, J14 Hot beef noodle soup - L14 mala pot (lots of seafood and good for several people) Their spicy wontons are also incredible and quite spicy.

Beautiful place, wonderful foods. Real authentic Sichuan cuisine. It might be too strong flavour or spicy for American, but really good. We got cold sliced beef tendon, spicy and sour beef noodle soup, fried shrimp with walnut in mayo, and fried chicken with Chilli. And I'm pretty sure other foods should be wonderful. I'm so glad to find this restaurant. If you like spicy Chinese food or hotpot you must love here.😍

Pizza restaurant
At Olo Pizza, the culinary experience is a delightful journey into the world of wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizzas. Each pie is crafted with care, featuring vibrant red sauce and an array of toppings like thick pepperoni, roasted peppers, or local sausage. For those who prefer a white pizza, options abound with spicy soppressata and Buffalo chicken among others.
Second Try: Olo Pizza. The first time we went, my GF pizza came out and I said to the waitress, "this was supposed to be GF". It looked so good I didn't think it was but I was mistaken! It was the best GF I've ever had and it was like real pizza, so good! So, the other night we were deciding what to get for take out and we opted for Olo. I went with the same pizza, the Bacon, fig, onion & arugula jam. We also ordered the wings and my wife went with a Sicilian. Well, when she got there, they never put in the order for her pizza. It was called in for pick up, not through an app. Mind you it was a busy Sunday evening around dinner time. So, it was going to be a bit until everything was ready. Not only did they comp the pizza but they also comped her a drink from the bar while she waited! Now that is how you handle a mistake!! The food was awesome again! Absolutely loved my pizza and it was still fantastic leftover (GF often is not as no gluten to hold it together and the grains break down). Their Parmesan wings are also 🔥 and in both of our opinions, the best in the city, so good! Needless to say, we'll be patronizing Olo again soon and maybe I'll order a different pizza but it's gonna be hard!

We went down for the Detroit pizza on Wednesday and thought it was pretty good. My wife is from the Detroit area and gave it a thumbs up as well. She also had done fancy Aperol and other stuff drink. It was called a Vesuvio Marg, with tequila, Aperol, and almond Orgeat syrup flavoring. The drink got high marks from her also. The beer list was what I call Regular Worcester, with nothing much other than the local stuff.

First time eating 'Olo Pizza. Neapolitan style is not our normal go to, but we were in the mood for something new after a less than favorable experience at one of our usual spots. I ordered our food for pickup on the website due to the snowstorm that had started. The confirmation said the two pizzas would be ready at 5:22pm, and I received a text back they were ready at 5:17pm. We ordered the Pepperoni (Fresh and shredded mozzarella, thick pepperoni, and dried oregano) and the Ricotta which is a white sauce pie (Shredded mozzarella, crispy prosciutto, Mike's Hot Honey, herbs, and pecorino). I arrived right behind a group that was being led away by the only hostess at the station at that time. It was early in the evening, but I could see the restaurant was getting busy. It was only a matter of moments before someone working the food line helped retrieve my order. He gave off a welcoming and friendly vibe, which I wouldn't have expected from someone possibly making and helping with the takeout deliveries. That vibe will have me coming back to have a meal in person in the near future. I would have given both pizzas 5 stars, but while I enjoyed the charred outer crust on the pepperoni, there was more than enough for my taste. I think I will try eating a slice from crust to center next time I try 'Olo. The pepperonis were juicy and remarkably delicious. For someone that likes a more doughy pizza, the seasoning for both pies exceeded my expectations in taste. I look forward to coming back in person and eating the pizza right out of the oven.

The cold cut sandwich though a little pricy is ridiculously good. Fresh meats, fresh pepper, and super fresh and high quality cheese and arugula. You get what you pay for, and this is one of the best sandwiches you can get in Worcester, will be ordering again it was outstanding.

More of a 2.8 rating. Decided on this spot after seeing reviews and the rating, something that has not resulted in money well spent as often as it should have in the city of worcester unfortunately. I keep hitting dead ends and wasting both money and tips (before even tasting food or seeing the quality when it's a take out order). Tried 2 pizzas, a dessert, an appetizer, and a sandwich and fries: Both pizzas were too burned to really enjoy, taste was so so and not memorable, dough was very chewy. This was an overpriced domino's sized pizza that did not satisfy even the slightest. I was disappointed because I read that it was good. 2.2/5 The meatball parm sandwich was good in taste but was sloppily presented, and used the same chewy dough. However, it was slightly less chewy with the sandwich. Meatballs were good, sauce was fine. 4.5/5 The fries that accompanied the sandwich was not good at all. It tasted like the oldest and most boring selection of potatoes were used. 0/5 The chicken wings were so so, nothing to write home about, mention, or remember. Hard to say exactly how much I did or did not like them. I would say they were okay, too much on the borderline of okay and did not like. They were also on the borderline of cooked and overcooked. But, would I order them again? No. 2.5/5 The zeppoli was also a let down. It was almost good in taste, too dry, almost tasted burned but definitely tasted over fried. The white dip was okay/decent, weird texture, the chocloate dip was good. I almost bout 2 orders of this, I am so glad I did not. 2.4/5 For the prices they charge for everything on their menu, I expected much better and to get some sort of food worth the money spent. Food here was overpriced, overcooked, less than stellar tasting, and disappointing.

The Gluten Free pizza here is so good I was scared to eat it because I thought it was a regular pizza! I even had a friend try it and they could not tell the difference. The mushroom pie and the bacon pie are both DELICIOUS. The staff is super friendly and really helpful and the manager is also really nice. Great place and will be the only place I get GF pizza from now on!

We visited on an evening that featured Detroit style pizza as a special, and it was the best we have had. The appetizers also were excellent including Brussel sprouts and Parmesan fries. We happened to be there on trivia night, which was fun and entertaining. Drinks also were great, especially the margarita made with Aperol and orgeat - so well balanced.

Worse place ever! Read the bottom to hear the worse part! The cleanliness is never good. Grill still was dirty. This is the second time we go and there is still left over rice and just dirty! Another chef was sitting at the other grill on his phone coughing not even covering his mouth. The server pays no attention to you. Asked for some more dressing she said sure and never came back not even to ask if we needed anything only came at the end to give boxes and I then asked her to get me more soda which tasted like straight watery flat soda and gave us our check within 15 mins into eating. Everything was rushed. The one thing that was good was the crab Rangoons. The chef was nice. But they do not put a show on for you as I am use to. Food did not have teriyaki sauce like that and the rice was very plain overall the food was not great spend $90 something dollars and it was a waste. But The Worse part of it all was I went to the bathroom and I was in the long stall and the light went out (sensor) turned off and it was pitch black didn’t have my phone I wasn’t even done on the toilet I couldn’t wipe I was trying to wave my arms stomp and do anything to turn it on the stall was soo long that in the dark I couldn’t find how to open the door it was a good 3-4 minutes of me struggling to maybe turn it on from inside the stall so then I just started panicking banging the stall screaming help and no one came mind you the kitchen is legit right across the bathrooms are in the back I can hear people laughing and everything! so I had to proceed to crawl under the stall to get the light on I was very frustrated. And bathroom already looked yucky ! Had this been an elderly person they could of got hurt.At this point when I make it out the bathroom the waiter is collecting the card from my Fiance asks me if I’m ok so I’m telling her and I look at the waiter and said I was banging and screaming for help and no one came she walked right off not even with the curtesy to say “Im sorry that happened to you” or anything. I was pissed off at this point and slammed the salad bowl and walked out. Beyond Disappointed!!!!!!! And will NEVER EVER AGAIN GO HERE!!

I ordered a sushi roll and requested to add cream cheese. When I arrived, there seemed to have been a disturbance with police there to handle an out of control customer, so my order had not been started yet. This was not the restaurant's fault at all, and I completely understood their delay in getting my order ready while dealing with that. They were apologetic/extremely friendly and made the sushi roll right away. I didn't even wait longer than ~2 min. Turns out they added extra cream cheese (which was awesome!) and gave me a free salad to make up for my wait. They didn't have to do that. Those tiny little customer service details go a long way and didn't go unnoticed. Plus the food was great! No yum yum sauce compares to Kyoto's - it's the best.

I treated my mom for a belated birthday lunch, and we decided to go eat at Kyoto . We both ordered the lunch - in special, which was Filet Mignon & Fried Rice Vegetables and a salad 🥗. The staff were friendly and the cook was awesome! We had the food cooked in front of us, which was so cool ! Definitely recommend 👌 this place. It was clean inside, and they were quick with the service 😀! No complaints 👌, would 100% percent go back again, and would recommend to family & friends 😊! It's totally worth your money 😀! Not a 5 star visit. Makes me hesitant to return again real soon. ------------------------------- Updated Review: As of Saturday, October 19th ,2024, a friend and my sister treated me for an " early Bday dinner," not a 5 star experience. We had to wait to get seated, and then we had to wait at least 20 - 25 minutes for our Cheif . He seemed to be a " Newbie" I ordered the Filet Mignon, which was supposed to be Meal Rare, and my sister ordered the Filet Mignon, which was supposed to be Medium Rare neither of our steaks were Medium Rare. The waiter had them make us 2 brand new Filet Mignons . Which were much better than the 1st round . The second Filet Mignon was Medium Rare like it supposed to be. But who wants to wait for there food. I went here with my Grandparents and my family to celebrate my college graduation in May 2024 and we had a wonderful experience, and it was 5 stars. This time, it wasn't a 5 star experience by far. I've been here many times before they were really very, very small portions of meal and vegetables. I love their vegetables. This was supposed ti be a nice experience and it was a very costly dinner for 3 . You get more portions for lunch .

Food was ok. The California roll was ok didn’t like the spicy Mayo. The chicken was good but the fried ice cream was horrible. Worst fried ice cream ever. I don’t think lll be coming back here again. The crust tasted like old oil and something was off about it. When the waitress asked how was it I told her nicely I didn’t like it. She didn’t even say sorry and we were still charged for it. I didn’t even finish it.

Absolutely no taste whatsoever to the miso soup. It’s literally boiled water.
Gem93 — Google review
The food is nothing special, but it’s good and it’s near by so I don’t mind going. My review is mainly about the cleanliness. There is a ring of grime along the walls surrounding the whole dining room. It’s pretty nasty. I don’t mind eating at a hole in the wall, but it’s not exactly cheap to eat here and the restaurant should reflect that by at least not being grimy, literally. Also the menus smell bad and the tables are sticky.

Seemed like a generally clean place, very quiet for a Sunday night. Sat at the hibachi table and could tell they were stalling for another party to come in… which never showed up. Wish they would have mentioned something about it because we would have been happy to sit at a table to be able to just order. Kind of annoying. Overall, the food was bland and the fried rice was weirdly creamy and not seasoned. If you like them to just throw yum yum sauce on it then this is the place for you. No garlic, salt, pepper, teriyaki, or anything. Yum yum was not fun fun.

Chashu Ramen + Izakaya is a contemporary Japanese eatery in Worcester, Massachusetts. With its modern ambiance, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes such as noodle soup, rice bowls, and grilled meat. Inspired by traditional Japanese Izakaya sake houses, Chashu provides an Asian dining experience with small tapas-style plates that perfectly complement their artisanal cocktails and curated selection of sake and wine.
Chashu is truly one of the best restaurants in Worcester, a rare gem with ruby-like powers that draws you in with its charm, elegance, and warmth. My boyfriend and I are frequent visitors, finding ourselves continually captivated by the beautiful ambiance and the exceptional team that makes every visit memorable. Whether we’re here for a summer evening out, a romantic date, or even a make-up-after-fighting dinner, Chashu’s dark, soothing atmosphere always feels like a perfect escape. The setting is intimate and thoughtfully designed, embodying the elegance of Japanese and Eastern culture that we cherish and hope to experience firsthand when we live in Japan one day. The team at Chashu truly elevates the experience. Dawson, the greeter, embodies gentlemanly grace and poise, welcoming us each time with a warmth that sets the perfect tone. Zach, the bartender, is both friendly and approachable, always crafting cocktails with precision and flair—his Tiki drink, in particular, is absolutely irresistible! Beyond his skills behind the bar, Zach also has his own wedding photography business, showcasing his creative talent in yet another way. And then there’s Carly, our server, who is consistently confident, attentive, and wonderfully down-to-earth. She has an amazing ability to understand and remember what we love, making each dining experience feel personalized and meaningful. Chashu is so much more than just a restaurant for us; it’s a place that aligns with our dreams and inspirations, reinforcing our love for Japanese culture and our life goals. With its enchanting atmosphere, thoughtful service, and outstanding food, Chashu is a true Worcester treasure that we couldn’t recommend more highly.

Great food! I had the Tanjun Chicken 🐔 Ramen 🍜 with a Salmon 🍢 Skewer as a side. The tender noodles, slightly spicy seeds and chewy chicken with scallions made for a warm treat! The grilled salmon just flaked perfectly and was tasty 😋! The service was good though I started to feel rushed at the end 🔚. The host at the entrance was honest and told me that they did not have enough staff yet to service all of the tables. I sat at the bar, which I usually do, where I was greeted and asked how I was doing. I was offered water 💦 and told that the menu was online. I was given access to the restaurant's WiFi since the guest WiFi was not working. I was given time to choose from the menu. The bartender gave me his opinion on how good the food tasted concerning my choices. The wait time for my food was short. The bartender was very busy and he seemed a little rushed by the time I ended my meal and drink. The interior of the restaurant and bar 🍺 is interesting. There are Christmas decorations still up by the flat screens at the bar. Black is a popular color inside, which makes the huge pictures on the wall stand out. The music 🎶 was not loud 🔊. My only issue was the Manga cartoon being shown on the flat screen. People were being choked, stabbed and blood was flowing. Ugg! Seeing someone's naked backside did not enhance my enjoyment of my food. I had a pleasant conversation with the couple next to me about Shen Yun. They were going to see 🙈 it for the first 🥇 time and I had just seen it for the second 🥈 time. Prices are moderate. I had no sticker shock. You may want to call ahead. I am going to recommend this restaurant.

Chashu Ramen + Izakaya stands out as my top recommendation for exceptional dining in downtown Worcester. From the moment you arrive, you’ll appreciate the thoughtfully designed concept, stylish décor, and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend beginning your meal with a drink of your choice, accompanied by the grilled eggplant appetizer and lobstah rangoon maki—both are prepared with remarkable attention to flavor and presentation. To conclude, the mango-lime sorbet offers a refreshing and satisfying finish. Of course, their signature yasai ramen dishes are not to be missed, each one crafted with care and depth of flavor. A visit to Chashu is not only worthwhile—it’s likely to become a favorite!

Food: I got the seaweed salad, Gyoza, Fuji Mountain and Worcester Maki roll. honestly, I’m quite disappointed by the overall quality as everything was just rather soggy. For eight dollars of seaweed salad the portion is screaming. The Gyoza’s would have been decent if they were crispy fried. Both the sushi rolls tasted like they’ve been sitting for a little too long and the wraps were soggy. Overall, it just wasn’t fresh. Service: I ordered takeout, which was fine when I scheduled to pick up at eight. It was already ready a little earlier. Ambiance: it’s rather quiet but spacious. They recently renovated the place so it’s rather nice inside. Location accommodation: there’s parking on the side towards the right side of the restaurant.

Our recent dining experience had some significant ups and downs. On the positive side, the young man who seated us was exceptionally friendly and efficient – a real asset to the team. Also, the crab rangoons were delicious and a definite highlight. However, we encountered some issues that affected our overall experience. Our server seemed inattentive and uninterested in providing good service… we missed having basic service, such as water refills or check-ins on our meals. The chicken hibachi, unfortunately, was undercooked, which was a disappointment. We also felt rushed at the end of the meal when the lights were turned off as we were settling the bill. Her behavior and the undercooked food led us to rate the experience lower than we had hoped. We believe that with improvements in service attentiveness and food preparation, this restaurant has the potential to greatly improve.

I recently visited this fantastic sushi restaurant and had an absolutely delightful experience. The dishes we sampled were exceptional, and each one offered a unique burst of flavor. Here are some highlights: - **Firecracker**: This dish was truly a standout. The combination of flavors and textures was simply amazing, earning a perfect 10/10 from us. The name perfectly captures the explosive taste experience. - **Mount Fuji**: Another top-notch choice, Mount Fuji impressed us with its exquisite balance of ingredients. It was also rated a perfect 10/10. The presentation and taste were both remarkable, making it a must-try. - **Sugar Mama**: For those who prefer vegetarian options, Sugar Mama is a fantastic choice. It delivers a delightful mix of flavors that will satisfy any palate. We rated it a perfect 10/10 for its creativity and taste. - **Red Sox**: While not my personal favorite, the Red Sox roll was still very impressive. It had a great flavor profile and was highly enjoyable. We rated it a solid 9/10, reflecting its high quality. Overall, our dining experience at this sushi place was outstanding, and we highly recommend trying these dishes if you visit.

It was HORRIBLE. The rice was soft and soggy…. Literally melting in my mouth. Literally disgusting and then the owner had the nerve to try and make me pay for half of the food because I mixed it together but didn’t eat any…. Like what? Needless to say, I didn’t pay for it and wasn’t going to pay for it because I didn’t eat any of it… Will NEVER visit this place again. Absolutely HORRIBLE… I should’ve listened to the previous comments about this place. Do yourself the favor and stay away from here. Ive had much better.

This is a cute little spot with a lot of food options, tons of sushi rolls to choose from. I wasn't a huge fan of the crab rangoon; way too "milky" of a consistency. The vegeterian sushi I tried was pretty fantastic, while the speciality roll with tempura was a bit lacking. Maybe the tempura was just too crunchy, the texture didn't vibe well with my food texture sensitivities. Our server was attentive and very sweet. Overall good spot for a quick bite to eat.

It was my first time ordering from Oishi and it was a delightful experience! The couple who runs the restaurant are so friendly, and a few regulars came in while I was waiting - clearly this place is well-loved. I got the sweet potato maki and a dragon roll with edamame on the side. The prices are stellar and the food was great! The dragon roll was especially good. I would say my only complaint is that the rice was a little dry/tough, but overall everything was well prepared. Happy that I have a new local sushi spot to add to my list, I’ll definitely be going back!

Note to myself for the next time. I normally come here for the crab rangoon and chicken terriyaki but today i was dissapointed. Im already not happy about spending $11 for 4 pieces of chicken terriyaki but they were super skimpy today and barely had any meat on them. They were more like what you would get at a run down buffet, versus and over priced, nicer restaurant. They had about half the amount of meat on each of them compared to what they usually give. Also, idk if they over cooked the crab rangoon or if they were old or they changed the wraps and the filling they usually use but they simply werent good. The crab rangoon are usually yellow and light, today they were dark and had some white stuff on it and the wrap seemed a lot thicker. They just werent good. The staff is nice though. Im kind of glad though that I was dissapointed with the food today bc I wont be craving it again and tempted to come back.

Girlfriend and I wanted to try new takeout so we were excited to take a chance at trying a new place! Wan Wang has now become our new favorite restaurant! My girlfriend had the Chicken Finger and Crab Rangoon white rice combo and I went with Orange Chicken one of my favorites since childhood. When we received our food we even received a full page menu stapled to the bag which right away we felt cared about and excited to get to the food and see the physical menu! We opened up our to go food and saw the food was filled up to the top and it was nice and steaming! We agreed both of our rices were fluffy and the chicken in both were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside like a true pan fried cook! I was happy to see our rice was shining with natural color cuz I prefer stir fry style rice over fried with oil, seasoning, or msg loaded. It was some of the best rice I’ve ever had! It reminds me when my mom would spend as long as an hour making homemade stir fry rice! Beef teriyaki sticks are nice and thick and juicy tender some of the best as well! Crab Rangoon are good and more on the mild cream cheese tasting side, not too sweet, and medium light heaviness! We agree this is some of the best and most fresh Asian food we’ve ever had and we hope to order again soon! : ] Ordered again on 6/18 and wanted to try an upscale sushi so got the Mt. Fuji roll and got some spare ribs cuz the beef teriyaki was the best I’ve had and I wasn’t disappointed with the bbq ribs either! They also gave me a full container! Sushi roll craftsmanship and overall taste was super nice! None of the sushi flavors were overpowering and it had the sticky fluffy pillow consistency that sushi should have! Very happy again! Thanks Wan Wang! I really recommend the orange chicken it’s not too sweet and not too spicy more natural style, Hunan or Singapore noodles is a good dry heat dish if you want something with less sauce, and the spare ribs, shrimp tempura or shrimp dumplings, and sushi rolls have been delicious! Everything I’ve had has been good!

Placed a take out order of three traditional Chinese favorites-Home Style Bean Curd, Kung Pao chicken and Szechuan beef. Food was authentic and delicious. Each was amply served and included rice. We'll be back.

Went for paint night / date night with my girl and I wish I could remember who our waitress was (her name) because she was flat out amazing. The food was tasty and paint night was pretty fun. First time I'd ever tried my Bob Ross skills.

I brought my wife, mom and aunt last night and we had the best time sitting at the sushi bar. You need to understand, my mom and aunt are very difficult to please when going out to eat. They absolutely LOVED it!!! The drinks were refreshing, the sushi was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back. 5 stars, just a memorable dinner experience. Thank you!!!

Overpriced and did not live up to expectations. Ordered the Pad Thai, Salt and Pepper Jumbo Shrimp app, and Chicken Ramen Noodle Bowl. Pad Thai - very acidic. All you taste is vinegar - flavor was awful but it was a good portion of food. Salt and Pepper Jumbo Shimp App - If you are considering this and looking at the price (about $20) and thinking to yourself, "That's a lot of money for an appetizer, there must be a good portion of shrimp to make it worth the money" do NOT be fooled. We got about 8 pieces of REGULAR sized shrimp and it was NOT salt and pepper shrimp. It was fried shrimp with a spicy red pepper sauce on top of lettuce. It was tasty - but not what was expected and NOT worth the money. I would not spend more than $8 on this app. Ramen - flavor was good, portion was good, but still overpriced. There were only 4 slivers of what looked like canned chicken in the entire meal. Overall, we paid $60 for this meal and were not satisfied by anything. Would never order from this place again.

Harvest Moon 2 is a hidden gem in Worcester that stands out for its consistently delicious Chinese cuisine. Whenever cravings strike, this spot is the go-to choice, delivering exactly what diners expect and desire. The spicy garlic chicken paired with noodles and vegetables is particularly noteworthy for its rich flavor without feeling heavy. While portions are generous, it's worth noting that entrees don’t come with rice, which could enhance dishes like the Szechuan pork. The crab rangoons are a must-try as well!
Delicious food and ample portions - only downsides, sis not know entrees do not come with rice or I would have ordered some to go with Szechuan pork with had lots of delicious sauce, and hot and sour soup was on the bland side - neither hot or sour
Olegoat66 — Google review
I’ll have a more accurate read on the food after several orders. Based on initial visit, seems like an average Chinese restaurant for mostly take-out. The crab rangoon was the best part of my lunch special. Decent portion size and value. The place is kind of marginal for eating there.
Paul N — Google review
I have been going there for years the last month or three I don’t know why the food has gone straight downhill. I ordered something two times spicy. It wasn’t spicy at all. I ordered an egg for young. The whole thing was burnt. They turned it upside down so that you couldn’t see it, but I couldn’t even chew it. I will attack pictures. I will never go there again ever I spent years telling people how good that place was I will spend the next years telling people don’t ever go there!!!
Chris B — Google review
I’ve gone here as I love Chinese food. And it’s around the corner from my work. The food itself is average at best. But the lady who works the front taking your orders is extremely rude and seems to be bothered that you’re there ordering their food. I ordered Peking raviolis which comes with ginger sauce when she handed me the ginger sauce it was in a plastic container but wasn’t even filled a quarter way up so I’m thinking well I have 7-8 raviolis and that is about enough to flavor 2-3 at best so I asked could I pls get another ginger sauce to which I got in response that will be 1$ the money isn’t the issue but it’s how she said it and maybe if the ginger sauce was filled in the container like the duck sauce and the other sauces they have I wouldn’t need to ask for another one so anyway this all led up to her saying u complain all the time about this. Well quite honestly it was the first time I ever complained about anything there and what ever happened to customer is always right lol. Well I just said politely well you won’t have to worry about me complaining anymore as I won’t be back. There’s to many Chinese restaurants around the area that are much better in quality food and much much better with service treating their patrons nice with respect.
Papa M — Google review
In my opinion, it is the only Chinese food in Worcester worth getting. Any time I'm craving takeout, they're my go-to because it's always exactly what I expect & want it to be. Consistency is important, ya dig? Also, other places barely put any sauce on some of the items comparatively. It's a super underrated spot given that the prices are better than the more popular Chinese takeout restaurants in the area.
Egglion — Google review
I ordered from DoorDash yesterday spend 70 dollars the chicken was not fresh the food had no flavor. I only ate it because was hungry and didn’t want to waste my money but I will never get food from there again I rather die of starvation.

This place is absolutely delicious! I would have to say this is the best chinese food of worcester by far! This is the spicy garlic chicken dish with noodles and vegetables. The flavor is rich and you don't feel heavy and unhealthy eating it! It's a light and flavorful dish, i would highly recommend!!!!

First visit to Sushi Miyazawa—and it won’t be the last! The food and service were both excellent, and we really appreciated the BYOB option. One thing to note: there’s a 90-minute time limit per table. Thankfully, we had adjusted our reservation from 10 to 7 people, which worked out perfectly—we wrapped up with just a minute to spare. A great experience overall, but something to keep in mind if you're planning a larger or more leisurely gathering.

The best sushi in all of the Worcester area - possible all is Massachusetts or New England. Great variety, delicious food - I highly recommend letting the chef select! Note - it is small (~20 patrons) and it is BYOB. Take advantage of it - bring whatever drink you love most with sushi!

I was visiting Worcester from out of town and asked where was the best sushi in town so I tried this spot. For $50, I ordered two specialty rolls and salmon sashimi and was incredibly disappointed by it all. The fish was not fresh and some was still frozen on the inside. The rolls were drenched in mayo, which seemed more like an attempt to cover up the poor quality than to complement the flavors, and it completely overwhelmed the taste. I don’t know if this is actually the best sushi in Worcester, but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Accra Girls Restaurant is a cozy and intimate family-owned eatery located at 1280 Grafton St #1, Worcester, MA 01604. The staff is known for their warm hospitality and willingness to explain the various dishes on the menu. This charming establishment prioritizes children's meals by serving them first and adding playful rice shapes to make dining more enjoyable. The food itself boasts a delightful blend of spices that add flavor to each dish.
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Fairly small family owned restaurant and the waiter was very friendly and explained all the dishes. Brought out kids food first to get them going and had fun shapes for the rice. Food had a nice spice and very flavorful. I loved all of the dishes I tried. Piece of constructive criticism: I felt the waiter could have been a little more prompt when bringing out extra things like when I asked for more water or silverware.

This is what i paid $18 for 3 pieces of dried meat a container of dried rice and they said it came with a side of stew. That small container is supposed to be the side of strew. I drove from RI to Worcester, about 40 minutes drive because I was craving some good waakye, Jollof and Banku. All the food was delicious! Getting take out there for years. Food is top quality and most important - consistent. Best thing I like is when you call in an order, they read it back to you to confirm and when you pick up, they read it out to you again to confirm. They NEVER once messed up my order and always consistent.

Typical American Chinese restaurant. Regular popular dishes, like lomein (which wasn't flavorful) hot & sour soup (which wasn't either) and Peking ravioli (which I think were from a package). if you're looking for authentic Chinese, try Red Pepper in Worcester. For good/better American Chinese, try Chopsticks in Leominster. I remember this place when I was younger and the place hasn't changed, building needs to be updated and the food hasn't gotten better. It could be so much better but it might too late for current owners to make changes. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

I’ve gotten take out here several times for hibachi and for what they offer, it’s a good amount of food for $12. Their sushi is also pretty good but I don’t reach for it too often. The place inside is clean and the service is really fast as I usually order online and by the time I get there, it’s already ready and packed.

4.5+ stars in the fast Asian food category — excellent fast Asian fare at reasonable prices. Take-out or dine in — no table service, but decent indoor seating and not noisy (only the sounds of food prep). Ample parking in the lot next to the restaurant. I'm a delivery driver, I went to pick up for two customers. I had to use the bathroom as well. I just want to say that their bathroom are so clean and it smells so good. Usually when I use a public bathroom I want to gag on how awful it smells in there, and dirty. when you come out of the bathroom, you don't want to eat, that's how bad it is, but this bathroom smells so nice I give it two thumbs up plus their service is wonderful as well. The food is real good too.

Kai Sushi Bar & Grill is a consistently satisfying dining spot, offering an array of delectable dishes. Whether it's the first time trying their shrimp fried rice or indulging in their famous sushi, patrons can always expect a delightful culinary experience. The menu features reasonably priced options that are prepared with great care and attention to detail. The rice exhibits a remarkable taste without being oily, and the cooked shrimp adds a delicious touch to the dish.
📍 Location & Atmosphere Kai Sushi in Worcester offers an intimate and cozy dining experience. The current location is quite small, with an 11-seat bar and around eight tables max, creating a casual and close-knit vibe. However, with their upcoming relocation, it’ll be exciting to see how they expand, especially with the introduction of their Omakase menu, which I’m eager to try. 🍽️ Food & Drinks We started with the miso soup, which had a familiar taste but leaned slightly on the salty side. It was a decent start, though nothing particularly standout. We then moved on to sushi and sashimi, which were fresh but noticeably thinner than expected. The Fire Roll and Love Roll were both delicious, though the flavors in the Fire Roll felt a bit homogeneous—everything blended together, making it harder to distinguish individual ingredients. The Love Roll, on the other hand, had more distinct flavor layers, making it more enjoyable. Despite not being a huge fan of mango in sushi, I found the fruity touch refreshing and well-balanced. The standout was the Spicy Scallop Roll, which was top-notch. It’s probably my favorite basic roll to order—the added crunch and bold flavor gave it a unique edge over similar rolls I’ve had elsewhere. 👨‍🍳 Service & Hospitality The service was fine—our server made sure we had everything we needed. It was efficient and polite, which suited the relaxed atmosphere. 💡 Unique Selling Point Kai Sushi stands out for its creative rolls and the promise of an expanded Omakase menu at their new location. The Spicy Scallop Roll was the highlight, offering a perfect balance of texture and flavor that sets it apart from the rest. I’m looking forward to seeing how the new space and menu elevate the dining experience.

This new location can be a bit tricky for parking, the lot fills up quickly and isn't very big. The restaurant itself is much more spacious than the old spot, with a large bar area, but the trade-off is that it gets pretty noisy, making conversation difficult. As for the food: the fish is still as fresh as always, and there’s a beef dish with lime (served raw or lightly seared) that was really good, though I can’t recall the full name. Aside from the sushi, the other dishes were pretty average. The fried rice in particular was a little too oily and wet for me, if it were drier, it would’ve been much better.
Linh D — Google review
$140 for all excluding tip and 2 mocktails. I think it's worth it for the quality of the food. maybe because it's a closed space and the ceiling isn't too high, I went on a Saturday and they were very busy and I can't really describe the noise, maybe because some of the customers are not very tactful, it was so loud that I had to cover my ears to eat. for dessert the fried ice cream the crispy outer layer was covered with cereal and felt a bit chewy and not very crispy, the ice cream was quite icy and hard. otherwise THE SUSHI HERE IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER EAT, PERFECTLY FRESH. I would go back but probably not on the weekend if you really don't like too much noise

I didn’t know what I was missing out. I hated sushi before going to Kai’s. They changed me for the better. 10/10 this place has delicious food. The place itself has always been clean in the various times I’ve visited. The staff always nice and attentive.

If you're looking for authentic sushi made with fish from Japan, look no further than Kai. They offer seasonal seafood from Japan every week. They also host special events like tuna cutting and offer Omakase, making them the only place in Worcester that provides these experiences. The new location features a beautiful open kitchen concept.
Thong H — Google review
Cute bar & vibe inside- sushi was mid. — Big sushi heads over here, so wanted to check this spot out since coming back to the woo. Baba is still way better. The miso soup Was probably the worst we ever had in my life. It tasted like dishwater and they used really cheap seaweed sheets. I definitely would recommend not getting that. However, The spicy Jade roll was one of the best rolls that we’ve ever had so definitely try to explore the specialty rolls vs. the traditional Maki, which isn’t that awesome. Service was fine and the vibes were pretty high. We’ll probably give it one more — go minus the soup.

I finally get to try Kai Sushi! It’s the only place in Worcester that offers such an incredible variety of fish from both local waters and Japan. I absolutely love their Omakase nigiri appetizer—it's a true delight! And the Miso Cod? It’s so flavorful and melts in your mouth! I can hardly contain my excitement for the day when I’ll dive into their full 14-course Omakase experience. It’s going to be amazing!
Linh L — Google review
Living near Boston for so many years, we almost gave up trying to find a comparable Japanese restaurant, especially one that offered omakase. Finally we found one. A hidden gem to say the least! We reserved a table a few weeks in advance since their omakase menu is not a nightly/dail special. We had a 14 course meal and were completely satisfied by the end. I tried the sake flight which was great. Chef Timmy personally explained each course and we ended the meal with a sake shot with him. Each course had the freshest seafood with unique combinations. Every piece melted in our mouths with the right amount of flavor with each bite! Worth every penny! We will definitely come back for more. Thank you for a wonderful experience as we celebrated our anniversary!

Interesting place for sure! My Sir and I needed food after a concert, so we were grateful this place was open late. The atmosphere felt slightly drab, and the music was a little loud for my liking (ironic, I know, because I'd just come from a metal show 🤣), but maybe I just wanted a quieter dinner. Had seedy nightclub vibes a little bit. Was very spacious, plenty of seating. Drink menu could have used better descriptions, but! I was super impressed with the menu overall. Lots of fun cocktails and great variety of food. We ordered way too much and it was all delicious. Waitress was friendly. 😊 Definitely worth dealing with the loud music (it's probably only on weekends anyway), and would love to go back if we're ever in the area again.

Ordered chicken wings from here and my brother bit into a chicken that was red and blood was dripping from the chicken onto the plate. When asked to replace they gave us one new wing back. When we asked if they could offer a discount for the bloody wing he had partially ate the manager spoke to us and was very passive aggressive and said it was a normal chemical reaction and offered no help to us at all. Very disappointed in this service I hope my brother doesn’t get salmonella.

Went here at 10pm and they were still serving food. TG. It was so good! And the proportions is on point. I love ginger too, the amount they give you, is heavenly and it tastes so good. Had to come back the next day to order more lol

Ordered a takeout and the rice on the sushi was hard, and the sushi didn't have much of a “flavor”. The staff was friendly over the phone, and the food presentation was beautiful. But it's leaking in taste

If you are going to the woo Sox game in Worcester, stop by this place afterwards OR before, but I think it’s more fun afterwards lol

We are never disappointed here ! Their food has always been quick and fresh. Their tuna tataki was our last appetizer, and it was so yummy. It was way too good not to share. I also only come here whenever Im the mood for miso soup. Always hot and fresh from the cauldron ! Thanks as always guys!

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, New Kisoro might just be your next favorite spot! I recently indulged in their shrimp teriyaki, which was grilled to perfection and paired beautifully with al dente broccoli and carrots. The sauce was subtle yet flavorful—ideal for those who prefer milder tastes. The crab rangoon stole the show with its crispy exterior and generous filling; it’s a must-try!
Delicious, fresh ingredients, fast service. Best if taken to-go but a must visit spot. I had the spicy tuna sushi burrito and my girlfriend had the tuna burrito. Both were excellent and everyone inside was fast, professional and super courteous. I'm glad I visited because I will definitely be returning.

We ordered a chicken and beef teriyaki ($12.99) with noodles instead of rice ($1.00), and 2x extra chicken ($5.98). As best we could tell, there was the same amount of chicken as beef, and it really didn’t look like extra was provided. This place shouldn’t be selling extra and not providing it. The quality of the food was below average. It was pretty flavorless, very wet but not saucy. The sushi was good, though. The service was fine. Nobody said anything to us until our food was ready and they didn’t give us a time estimate or anything. But ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We only came to this place because our favorite similar place is closed on Tuesdays, and we will most likely not return.

I ordered the red bull roll on door dash and no where on their ingredient list on door dash nor their website it says shrimp is included. I double checked because I’m allergic to shellfish. I was eating the roll and my throat started swelling and I picked apart the roll and there was shrimp in it! Luckily door dash refunded me my money. But after three tries to call someone answered and I told them what happened. The person on the phone told one of the chefs to be more careful and I explained to her how dangerous what they did was. However I’m unsure if they understood how severe that mistake was. Plus the miso soup was very bitter and sour like it was old. I don’t usually leave reviews but this was necessary since this could’ve put me in the hospital.

They have become very stingy with their portions and their prices are way higher than they used to be. Got a meal today and couldn’t be more disappointed. Last time going there for sure!!

First time here, and wow, the food's amazing! Service was super quick and great. Definitely get the Kenichi special fried rice!

I visited for the first time and was impressed by the cleanliness and how quick it was the service, take out only, excellent suchi. Loved it but a bit pricey. The salad for as just okay, it was that fake crab string meat that was to stinky.

Trash. This was the most plain, flavorless, soy sauce drowned food I ever purchased. Just gross. Waste of money. First and last time that I order here. Spend your money somewhere else.

The shrimp tempura is great! The duck sauce is exactly what I wanted duck sauce to taste like. The spicy tuna and salmon avocado rolls are very very tasty and fresh! ( I like how the spicy tuna has a kick to it) Also the soy sauce they give you is a favorite amongst many!!!!! Will order from again!
