Specialty Museums
Frontier Homestead State Park Museum in Cedar City, Utah is a popular attraction offering a comprehensive collection of exhibits focusing on the early history of southwest Utah and Iron County. Visitors can explore permanent and rotating displays showcasing life in the Old West, including stagecoaches, pioneer artifacts, and insights into the city's industrial history. The museum is an ideal destination for history enthusiasts and families alike, providing educational experiences about the region's settlers and industries.
A real view into the lives, skills and ingenuity of the pioneers in the American west. From old farming and mining equipment to an old sod house and school room with a genuine log cabin including furniture and fittings. Some beautiful artifacts well laid out ND presented. A trip down memory lane for those living in the 1800's in the American West. ;-) Some beautiful write ups included to add context to what you see. Overall a very worthwhile stop. Plan on 2 to 3 hours if you can to go through all the exhibits.
Simon J — Google review
We love this place. At first you walk in and see all of these stagecoaches and say okay lots of old stuff. The museum is actually very entertaining as you go through and begin to understand how much history has been preserved and what interesting things happened. There's short clips about different historical moments, great exhibits outside of houses and the schoolhouse and lots of farm stuff if you're into it. We found that we learned a lot and actually appreciated how the people of cedar City have preserved their past and it. We were very surprised and glad we visited.
SJB — Google review
It is a great museum. I ended up spending much more time there than planned. Really enjoyed the horseless carriage, selection, and learning about the local settlers and the entry fee was very reasonable, and the staff was very friendly.
Brian W — Google review
Wonderful Museum and staff. We ended up staying longer than expected. So much to see and do. Pan for gold, play horseshoe and more. Glad we stopped.
Coops G — Google review
This place is outstanding a must go see if anyone is in town!!! Just as depicted on the pictures when you visit their website! Being a true experience of some of the settlers lives and how they made it by innovations and pure grit. Being off of Main St. It's easy to locate. Easy parking. When entering the building it's simply loaded with all kinds of artifacts from that era and beautiful souvenirs to pick from! The person in the front super friendly and welcoming as well! Only 4 bucks per person to explore the whole place. Inside the building loaded with all the cool stuff the early people used live and function on a processing society covering success beating all the odds of the harsh West. I suggest to look at every detail by stopping in each area and read or look at videos offered even with film for all people to see. Everything so beautiful inside just amazing it all will not disappoint. As you go outside you must explore the little town as it was very well preserved as it must have been and wow its like going back in time that depicts true success in the west from those men women that conquered it by such hard work! I recommend stopping at each building and structures and enjoying how beautifully they lived.

Utah Shakespeare Festival, established in 1961 by theater professor Fred Adams, is a prominent event in Cedar City, with the aim of entertaining the numerous visitors to nearby national parks. The festival takes place annually and is renowned for its Shakespearean performances. Cedar City, home to around 35,444 people and Southern Utah University, also hosts the Utah Summer Games and offers various natural attractions for outdoor enthusiasts.
I have been going to this festival for years now, and it has given me the best productions I have ever seen. During 2 hours, they can make you laugh and cry. The actors are amazingly talented, and they never stop connecting with the audience in moving ways. This festival will always hold a special place in my heart.
Jordan H — Google review
Wonderful festival that we have made into a tradition of going to every year! The performances are amazing, costumes, sets, and the atmosphere is off the charts! If you love or don’t love Shakespeare but love the theater, this is the place for you!
Jared W — Google review
The 2025 season was phenomenal! Hard to choose our favorites but probably in order would be Macbeth, As You Like It, Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Antony and Cleopatra, Importance of Being Earnest. We truly enjoyed them all. Head to the cabaret afterwards to support the actors, what a fun night!
Elizabeth B — Google review
Just saw Macbeth this week and it was phenomenal! I highly recommend this show, and all the shows at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Professional actors, incredible set designs, beautiful costumes and the lighting and music were unforgettable. Thank you! We are so lucky to have such a high quality of theater in our community.
Morgan G — Google review
Too good to talk about! My wife and I went to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City last week and it was phenomenal! We picked the perfect time to go too. I guess everyone else was gearing up for labor day and although there were good sized audiences at all of the plays we went to, there was ample parking, nearly NO traffic, super friendly locals and TONS of fun little shops within walking distance. I don't want to tell you about it because I don't want it to get super popular and busy... worth the trip... stay a week and see everything, but bring a rain poncho if you come this late.in the year to see an outdoor show.
Eric L — Google review
Cool sculpture garden with a variety of music playing. The different theater and art buildings are very cool as well.

Great performances and friendly staff! Every seat was amazing. Definitely going back!

This is the best regional theater on the planet as far as I’m concerned. The acting is incredibly good and all the seminars are a wonderful bonus. Sets, costumes, music, green show- everything is world class.

Nestled within the stunning landscape of Southern Utah University, the Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) is a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts and culture seekers alike. This free museum boasts a striking canyon-style architecture that perfectly complements its surroundings. With nearly 2,000 pieces in its permanent collection, SUMA showcases an impressive array of regional artwork, including captivating landscapes by local artists and works from both faculty and students at SUU's Department of Art & Design.
ok what this is the coolest art museum ive ever been to in my whole entire life. the exhibits were all about salt and they were very cool. the architecture of this building is what made me want to come in the first place. such a cool spot.
Luke L — Google review
SUMA is a small Arts museum that hosts a regarding of temporary exhibits; many are student and local artists. We spent an hour there onLabor day while waiting to attend a Shakespeare festival play. The staff was super friendly, admission was free, and there were a range of modern concept pieces mixed with painting a sculpture. A nice way to spend a lazy afternoon. Admission is free and there is plenty of parking on th streets nearby. A fun visit!
Dave K — Google review
Was drawn by the website mentions of Dali and other masters. These were notably absent and the museum featured an interesting audio sculpture exhibit and a series of political statements by one other artist. Not very diverse and devoid of any of the advertised masterpieces. It was a cool place on a hot summer day and it was free so you can’t really lose! The surrounding sculpture garden and homage to Shakespeare was more interesting to me than the museum itself.
Drew T — Google review
Nice museum and a local, free activity to do in Cedar City for travellers. I came to do a few of the parks (Cedar City is central to a lot of the parks). SUMA was a nice evening activity and can be done by yourself. Exhibits are rotating so there’s always something new
Megan M — Google review
I love the staff, very Sweet, attentive, and helpful. Neat experience: corsettes, textures, tapestries, & shakespear. Eclectic mix of traveling and permanent exhibits. Please see the attached photos. I will recommend.
Sally ( — Google review
If you're looking for a museum that is attached to Southern Utah University, that is kind of underwhelming and small, then you have found it in this museum. The art is good and they change exhibits a lot, but it's small and underwhelming, it's a good thing it's free.
Jared G — Google review
We stumbled upon the Southern Utah Museum of Art and it was lovely. They had a interactive exhibit for Juneteenth that were fun to do with our kids.
Shevon Q — Google review
My family and I had a tremendous time at the SUMA for the first time. It happened to be their two-year-anniversary celebration, which made it even better. We got to see the James Surls sculptural exhibit and take part in the celebratory activities, like face painting, cookie-eating, and pin-the-tail-on-the-fox! The space was large and inviting, with beautiful views from the windows. The staff was very friendly and enthusiastic, and the exhibit itself was interactive and inspiring to my kids.

Cedar City Aquatic Center in Utah is a fantastic destination for families and friends looking for a fun time. The center offers various water activities, including a splash pad for little children to enjoy. Located near downtown Cedar City, it is surrounded by attractions such as the Southern Utah Museum of Art and Cedar Ridge Golf Course. Additionally, it's just a short drive from the breathtaking Zion National Park, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
I really enjoy coming to this aquatic center! I mostly use the diving board, and I love that they recently added a rock climbing wall next to it -- such a fun, new feature! I also use the basketball goal in the pool, and I think it's great that they usually provide the balls to play with. The enclosed, indoor water slide is another favorite of mine. Overall, it is a fun and well-maintained place to swim and stay active.
Romeo B — Google review
A beautiful pool but not great for young kids. They don’t open until late and are closed several Saturday’s for swim meets.l and every Sunday. The water is also not warm and the pool area is not heated well in the winter so my baby shivers every time we do and we end up leaving. I wish they had better hours and better heating!
Kaity — Google review
My kids love going here. We live in Arizona so my kids have high expectations for water park/pool and we all love it. It’s never been extremely busy when we’ve come which is nice.
Andria P — Google review
Absolutely amazing, price friendly, clean, they have food available, SPOTLESS bathrooms and changing rooms. Shade and sun options.
Kotinca P — Google review
No where to sit AGAIN… year after year I complain about this problem! Everyone keeps their stuff on the chairs and swim, moms and non swimming guests have no where to sit. Get more chairs or cubbies or rent out locks & keys or make a rule and a sign stating belongings are not place holders.
Jamie H — Google review
Great place to enjoy time with your family. Indoor splash pad, lazy river, swimming lanes, and hot tub. Outdoor pool as well with a variety of activities for the children such as a rock climbing wall, diving board, etc.
Missus K — Google review
A pretty fun place all around. From the outside beach and fishing to the indoor swimming and water slides. Great place to bring a family and spend the day having fun. We just got back from here and we caught a bunch of nice little trout. I wish the parking lot were paved instead of gravel where your entire vehicle looks like you’ve been down a country road for miles and miles. So that sucks. There’s a beach for swimming and bathrooms nearby for changing or taking a leak. My daughter also took swimming lessons here and she had fun. There’s also a snack bar for refreshments and snack type food. All the staff seems friendly and helpful.
Carl M — Google review
It’s a nice upgrade from the Washington City Community Center. It’s like they took a number of learnings from it and improved on it as far as swimming goes. We were there for a swim meet. The facility was really clean and looked like it had a lot of fun things for kids. It’s still too small for how many high schools were there. There weren’t enough places to sit and it was super noisy. The location is great and the parking lot is nice and big.

Park Discovery in Cedar City, Utah is a family-friendly public park offering various amenities for a fun day out. The park features a colorful playground with an array of play equipment to entertain children. Situated on a hill, the park boasts mazes, wooden towers, dinosaur digs, slides, rocket ships and volcanoes that provide both entertainment and educational value for kids of all ages.
What an amazing park! It’s a huge adventure with multi levels, slides and fun interactive areas. The entire park is mostly fenced in so your kids can escape except for one or two entrance. Kids could literally spend hours just running around getting lost. The parking lot is about 50 yards from the actual playground. Bathrooms are available and a drinking fountain.
CJay T — Google review
Updated my review based on the recent renovation this park had. It is very clean with plenty of benches and tables to sit at and trees around it providing shade. All the new equipment is well designed and fun for the kids (and child-like parents) to enjoy. Our twins had a blast exploring everything, especially the musical equipment!
Jason H — Google review
Excellent park with interesting play equipment. The park is behind the school district building. There is a nice walking trail around the park, although the play equipment is not visible for about 1/3 of the trail. Bathrooms are typical park restrooms (a little gross, but at least they have bathrooms here!). This park has 5 different types of swings, including a set that are great for special needs children. There are several picnic tables and benches. Overall, a great park.
Jessica S — Google review
This is a great park! Slides, swings, a whole little city setup with play boats and jeeps and a rocket. Super fun for our little one. Great picnic area. Lots of seating for the adults. This was a great spot and will definitely be a stop on our next road trip through this area!
Mike H — Google review
New park is fine but sucks if you have little kids. Completely inaccessible for littles for most of the play equipment. The old style is where it’s at. Sad to see it’s gone. Water from the fountain is white instead of clear.
Sam D — Google review
A little disappointing. We went because of the awesome photos and videos on Google reviews, but either they weren't of this park or they were outdated. No boat. No cool wooden passageways. There are ADA swings and baby swings, which I really appreciate and lots of fun stuff for adventurous kids. The parking isn't very close and I wish there was more shade.
Rose-Marie W — Google review
They have redone it since we first came here about 15 years ago. The older one was nice and a lot of fun. The new one is also a lot of fun. I wish they had more parks like this where I live. A lot of different activities and space for everyone. They have disability swings so that everyone can enjoy.
A P — Google review
This was my first time going since the park was remodeled. It was fun, there were a lot more sensory activities, it was easier to see kids, and there was more space to run around, but I also noticed plenty of potential hazards where kids could fall anywhere up to 10 or so feet! I think it is good, but I miss the old Park Discovery.

Lots of very big fish! However there were a LOT of dead fish ☹️ I didn’t have the right bait to catch big ones but Im glad I came anyways. The small fish are fun to catch too.

It’s small but has a nice sand beach, a ramp into the lake, and a good amount of fish. Easy to catch brook here. The water is very clear and nice for swimming.
Andrew J — Google review
Had a blast when I went here! It's really pretty at sunset! Had a small friend get-together here and we caught some fish, played volleyball, threw a football, and swam! Afterwards we went to the spinny-park that's somewhat nearby. Would recommend coming here with friends and family!
Ben S — Google review
I really like the walking trail and the dock. The shade umbrellas and tables are a nice addition. I don’t like the sand it’s very rocky and dusty and it makes me itchy. I don’t trust swimming in that water without getting a parasite. And unfortunately, the overall smell of the lake is very off putting. It smells like sewage and bacteria. It was so nice when it first opened. It still looks nice but it’s the details that are why I don’t visit more.
Aubri E — Google review
great way to get some sand, sun and fun without going to a busy reservoir. the water is clean and there is fresh water for showering afterwards. it DOES get windy on top on the hill however, so umbrellas and shade are hard to hold down most days. :)

Festival City Farmers Market in Cedar, Utah is a year-round market where local farmers and backyard gardeners showcase and sell their organic products. On Saturdays, vendors offer a variety of locally grown items such as eggs, vegetables, honey, cheese, jam, and bread. In the summer months, Festival Wednesdays bring food trucks and live music for a midweek celebration. The market also features an array of fresh baked goods and artisanal products.
Love this farmers market! Plenty of fresh produce, artisan goods, and local eateries. When you're done you can walk around and check out the other local shops or cafés like The Grind or Bristlecone! Live music was amazing and plenty of outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!

Great variety of different vendors. There's always something to eat, and they always have a great musician playing music for everyone. They have everything from woodworking items to teaspoon rings, raku fired clay wares, homemade jewelry and handmade wreaths.

I love going to The Festival City Farmers Marker (FCFM)!!! I love eating the sweet strawberries, the delicious candied cashews and candies almonds, and tasting the mouth watering salsa! I love going on Saturdays, and Wednesday nights in the summer!

The Garth & Jerri Frehner Museum of Natural History is a university museum that showcases exhibits and educational programs centered around the natural history of the region. It operates from Tuesday to Thursday, between 10:30 am and 4:30 pm, with different hours for us. This museum offers free admission and resembles a smaller version of BYU's Bean Museum. Despite being often overlooked on the SUU campus, exploring its interior reveals a wealth of minerals and mountain-wildlife displays.
Free museum inside University Science building; great for small children with interactive activities! University students available to answer questions or discuss artifacts. Highly recommend!!

Small, but very entertaining museum. We spent 2 hours there with kids: microscopes, build your own landscape with interactive sand, mechanical wall challenge, seed library, and more kept them entertained. Absolutely worth the visit.

Small but fantastic natural history museum. They have two microscopes set up with lots of interesting items to view. There is a magnetic marble run wall. There are children's books to read, rocks that glow under UV light, many taxidermied animals, etc. The museum is free and well worth a visit.

A small science museum with some interesting exhibits. There are a lot of drawers to open and explore, an interactive marble wall, mounted wildlife, some living spiders and beetles to observe, fossils, a drawer of preserved reptiles, animal puppets, children's book, and minerals. Use the black light flashlights that are next to the taratulas to shine on the mineral cases for some fun surprises. There are Lego figures hidden all over the museum and we had fun finding them while we looked at all the displays. There is even a display of conjoined calves.

Centro Woodfired Pizzeria is a charming and stylish eatery located just off the main street in Cedar City. The restaurant offers a delightful selection of artisanal wood-fired pizzas with unique gourmet toppings, such as sopressata salami and sliced red grapes, all served on perfectly crisped thin crusts. In addition to their delectable pizzas, Centro also serves fresh salads and starters made with locally sourced seasonal produce.
After a long day of hiking Zion this pizza slapped (in a good way!)!! It was so flavorful for a cheese pizza and the dough was cooked to perfection, crispy but somehow still fluffy on the inside. We got to sit outside too and cool off and rest after all that walking. Overall a great time and no leftovers left! 😋

By far my family’s favorite pizza place in Southern Utah. Having chairs to eat outside gives it the European ‘in the city’ feel. The selection of pizza is excellent. This place is always busy when we’ve been. The dough has a good flavor. They use authentic ingredients. Always a great time when we get the chance to dine in.

What a gem!! Highly recommend. Great beers, friendly service, and fantastic food. The bruschetta was great, especially if you like balsamic vinegar. We got 3 different pizzas and all argued as to which was the best one. OK, we didn't argue. We just all got the pizza that perfectly suits our palettes. White pizza, sausage and calabrese, and diavola something. Just go. You'll be happy.

This place has become our favorite spot in Cedar City for me and my family. It’s honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had, I just wish they were in Las Vegas too! The special mushroom and artichoke pizzas are our favorites. The staff were very nice, and since most of them are students, we made sure to be generous with tips.

Oh you have to try the meatballs! Delish! You get to base ball sized meatballs drenched in red sauce. The pizza was good as well. We dipped the crust in the extra sauce at the prompting of our server. So good. We sat outside near the street under umbrellas. It was enjoyable.

Had a Caesar salad and Margherita pizza, since we weren’t too hungry. The salad portion was huge and perfect for sharing as an appetizer. The pizza tasted excellent as well. Will definitely come back if we pass through again. A place with a great vibe!

Excellent thin crust pizza (and some of the best gluten free crust we've ever had!) Service from Christopher was fantastic, ambience is relaxing and welcoming, and food is top notch. I also ordered the apricot salad with roasted chicken and it was fresh and delicious.

Breakfast restaurant
The bustling and cozy restaurant, All American Diner, provides a wide range of classic diner options throughout the day. Located in Cedar City, this eatery offers affordable prices and generous portions, making it an ideal spot for college students. Their all-day breakfast deals are particularly popular as they provide a complete morning meal for around $5. Despite occasional busy periods resulting in slightly longer waiting times, the service remains satisfactory. The menu at this tavern boasts an extensive selection of approximately 146 dishes and beverages.
Smile good - what a gem! Dropped in while visiting family in the area... blown away. Got a bunless burger and sweet potato fries... were to die for! Get in my tummy! Additional pics are from our party. Visit family at least twice a year in the vicinity - will definitely be coming back for more.

Passing through Cedar City and looking for a local bite, we stumbled upon the All American Classic Diner—and it turned out to be a worthwhile stop. I had the hot ham and cheese sandwich with onion rings, and both were tasty and satisfying. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich with a side salad and enjoyed both as well. The diner has a rustic charm, though it could use a few updates—especially since the A/C was out during our visit. That said, the service more than made up for it. Despite a busy dining room, our food came out quickly and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you’re traveling through and want to support a local spot just off I-15, this is a solid option. Worth the short detour.

What a wonderful pleace to eat! We went there tonight for dinner and enjoyed the Sirloin steaks with veggies and baked potatoe. A real great meal for an absolute reasonable price! Thank you for your hospitality! Short update: we couldn't resist and returned one evening later. This time we had the 8oz Sirloin (again) and the Pepper Sirloin. Both were cooked to perfection and it was absolutely worth returning again. Thank you so much!

Omg, where can u find a place that opens till real late and still offers steak ! 🥩 Delicious rib-eye, combo with veggie and mash potato, for $24 . The interior decor is very cool too, gigantic map installation overhangs, and just inside New York New York !

when we rolled up, the parking was completely full, with good reason. After finding a spot, we walked up the long ramp and were greeted quickly by the very busy hostess. It's a diner with a big variety for lots of different tastes. the littles split a pancake stack. the teenager enjoyed a cheeseburger with regular fries. my wife enjoyed the California Burger with onion rings. I literally had the best tasting burger ever, the stuffed burger. it was big and messy but oh so delicious. Our server was awesome, attentive and not afraid to interact with children. This diner supports veterans and I am glad we chanced it during our visit to Cedar City.

I have been going here since my parents moved to Cedar City 11 years ago and they have always had some of the best breakfast that are nice size portions. Love the pancakes and eggs breakfast. I most recently had the biscuits and gravy, and while it was still decent, the gravy is kind of bland since there is no meat in it. It was my first time having B & G. Their sausage patties are home made and are awesome. Not those pre-made patties that you get at most places. I can't speak on the lunch and dinner food items as I have never had anything but breakfast here, and their breakfast is all I need.

The prices are incredibly reasonable—imagine indulging in four ice creams for just $5.75!
Such a cute place!!! Everyone was so friendly, and sweet. My husband enjoyed a delicious root beer float and I picked out some bulk candy and pop rocks. They have so many retro candies….GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!! You won’t be disappointed!

I always love stopping at Bulloch’s! The employees are so friendly. They have an ice cream parlor, candy store, drugstore, tourist items, pharmacy and boutique home goods. It’s a unique store that offers a little of everything, and is a place I’d recommend to everyone visiting Cedar. There’s not many unique shops like this left! The only recommendation I have is to make the writing on the ice cream and treats sign darker. The white writing on a gray background is hard to read, as it blends together.

Bulloch’s Drug Store is a must-stop in downtown Cedar City! The historic building adds so much charm, and the soda fountain serves amazing treats. My daughter loved her mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone, and the malts (chocolate brownie bite and cookie dough) were thick, creamy, and delicious. The ladies working the counter were very polite and helpful with our questions. Beyond the ice cream, the store has a great kids’ section, a stylish clothing boutique, and unique home décor. Perfect mix of history, treats, and shopping!

Awful experience with the pharmacy. Ordered a prescription over the weekend. When I went to pick it up, it was incorrect. So I obviously told the girl helping me it was not what I had called in. She told me I’m wrong and the guy who I believe was the pharmacist told me this as well. I then called on Monday and spoke to a woman named Jana I believe. Told her what happened she explained that my information was put in correct and then changed and put in incorrect which she was even unsure as to why. She explained I could come in the following day and pick up the correct prescriptions and she would have a conversation with the staff since mistakes were made on their part. I go in the second time and the same girl as before helped me. She told me my prescription wasn’t there which I then explained what I had been told the day previous. She was shouting my personal information to other employees while looking for this medication. I felt uncomfortable with my details being said aloud. Then the guy who I believe again to be the pharmacist (sitting in the back on a computer) loudly was saying that if I was just here Saturday they can’t refill my prescription. Saying “we can’t fill a prescription everyday just because she wants it” mind you I didn’t get my complete amount of medication but was charged as if I did so technically I was needing to pick up the rest of what I paid for. Then after some more looking they found it on a counter and I paid and left. The attitude of everyone in there was snarky and unhelpful. The guy seriously was shouting comments as if I was some druggie. There were other customers around and they were announcing personal details. Also loudly talking about religion while helping customers is weird! This was my first experience with this pharmacy and it was beyond awful.
Addie W — Google review
What a unique experience. This place reminds me of an old department store, but modernized to be relevant in the times we live in. Very cool ice cream parlor with an actual drug store on one side of the store, with a clothing section and boutique home goods section on the other side. Very cool collection of items with a lot of local flavor. There is obviously a bunch of touristy stuff, but that makes perfect sense, since this is one of the first places I would tell someone to go when they visit Cedar. Not many stores left like this one.
John M — Google review
I was so excited to come here for a milkshake. I walked through the store and bought a magnet and a book and some funky measuring spoons, that was a nice experience with other cashiers. Then, I stood in line behind a family of maybe 10 people here after graduation and watched them all order milkshakes. It took a long time. 20+ mins later it was my turn, I was the only one left in the store, and asked for a small cherry chocolate chip milkshake. In a very rude tone, the girl behind the counter said, "we're not making milkshakes anymore." I kind of laughed thinking she was joking. She was not. The entire family was enjoying their shakes at the counter. She said they were closing soon and wouldn't make any more milkshakes. It was about 7:30 and I knew they closed at 8. She was so mean. I had been looking forward to it all day. I almost cried walking out and felt embarrassed. Horrible treatment and horrible experience :( I felt stupid for waiting in line so long.
Maddy F — Google review
The head pharmacist is prejudiced against people on Medicaid, I needed a refund for 2 medications. He responded “your insurance doesn’t cover 90 days” as I was walking out with a 90 day prescription on another prescription, he couldn’t look at me in the eye. With those two facts in consideration I researched the exact medication and with Medicaid insurance, it did confirm the fact.
Adam M — Google review
Just had the worst experience trying to refill my prescription the girl was incredibly rude and snarky asking for my confidential information out load in a public area. I was so uncomfortable I left I don’t know the exact names I’m not a pharmacist and I am not going to announce what they do with 10 people standing around me. I will never go back there.

Cedar Fun Center is the ultimate family-friendly hub in Cedar City, perfect for creating unforgettable memories with your loved ones. This vibrant destination offers a plethora of entertainment options, including laser tag, an exciting arcade, and virtual reality experiences that cater to all ages. The center was founded by local entrepreneurs Derrick, Bradford, Cakeb, and Jon with the mission of providing top-notch entertainment to the Southern Utah community.
This is a great place to go for a family or just on your own. They have cheaper prices for movies and concessions, and they have a great laser tag course, arcade, and mini golf course too. Great way to spend an afternoon.
Jordan H — Google review
Fairly pricey for miniature golf considering how short the course and each hole is. The clubs need glow in the dark heads to be able to clearly line up a shot, otherwise it is just too dark to shoot accurately. There is a fair amount of maintenance that needs to be done. One of the holes cup wasn't secured inside it, so nearly lose your golf ball trying to take it out. The staff was friendly at least, just needs some serious attention maintenance wise.
Jason H — Google review
Played mini golf here as a family this week. We weren't very impressed. Each hole is very short, boxy and uninteresting, no paths to travel most are just a small square with a couple obstacles in the way. The decorations are cool, but the lights are too dark, many of the obstacles seemed flimsy and some were not anchored to the floor properly. At least two of the holes were not sunk into the floor and the ball would bounce off the sides. Worst of all was the air in there, I swear there's no air conditioning whatsoever! Once we finished and got out into the hallway we could feel cool air again it was great, we were all sweating. Overall it's not terrible but I would think $8/person would be enough to keep things up a little better.
Melissa B — Google review
I don’t think people understand just how hard it is to make a miniature golf course. I really am happy that there is finally one in town. The holes are very tough but it makes it challenging which I like. I think it would be a good idea to space families or parties out on this course so they don’t overlap each other.
Weldwizzz — Google review
Came back for the nostalgia! The whole aesthetic of the place is completely different and they removed the VR area they had when I use to come for birthday parties. It is also obvious how the place is dying. We recently went here for the Sketch movie and we were the only ones to show up. So is the arcade. The claw machines appear to not have been reshelved for an eternity and most of the prizes are priced at an incredibly high ticket price for something you could've gotten for a quarter of the money you would have to spend to get those tickets. I'm sorry. This place used to be the centerpiece of my childhood but they stole the fun out of "Fiddler's Fun Center". Oh wait. Now it's "Cedar's".
Ronin H — Google review
We reserved a theatre room for an early family New Year’s party and the crew took perfect care of us! It was a great experience and we were able to pick almost any movie we wanted! We’ve always loved the Cedar Fun Center so it was a cool new experience to have a whole theatre room to ourselves. I’d definitely try it with larger groups. Thanks for bringing families together!
Skot R — Google review
We had our company Christmas party here and it was absolutely perfect! Cannot believe how great it was. The staff especially were amazing. The manager was so good. The unlimited arcade was a huge hit, maybe even more than laser tag. We had a movie in one theater and Mario Kart tournament in the other. There was plenty of room and Caleb set up the catering, delivered it, and took care of everything. What a great venue for our group of 50! It was so good!

Sensory review at 7pm on July 22, 2025. Sight: Shady in the evenings, beautiful views of red rocks. Watching the water in the concrete ditch is very nice. Sound: Stream in trees is 50 dB, east grassy area is similar with background noise of people talking, children playing (and yelling), and cars and semis passing by. The west side of the park was much louder, at a max average of 60 dB by the pavilion. Touch: Grass is very green and soft and you can play in the clear water running across concrete. Smell: People were grilling so it smelled like cooking meat. I found the traffic and background noise to be too much, but I would definitely go and play in the water in the trees where it’s quieter.

It was quite busy the afternoon we stopped in. There's a large creek down the embankment if you care to climb. Otherwise, cross the bridge near the street and you can get close to the small stream easily.
Jen L — Google review
Very neat place and beautiful hike to the waterfall. It takes about 20 minutes to bike maybe 40 minutes to walk but the way back on a bike is a cruise 10 minutes max. The water is cold in June but you see people swimming all the time. The view of the mountains is just extraordinary. It is so worth the hike and is probably a mile walk away from main street.
Megan S — Google review
Cute little park with the usual essentials (playground, clean bathroom) but the real highlight here is the creek running through it. It is amazingly beautiful and pleasant to take a dip into - it's especially refreshing after a hike in the nearby mountains.

Guests can marvel at celestial wonders like Jupiter and Saturn while enjoying a friendly atmosphere that welcomes everyone, including families with young children.
This place is neatly set up, and the instructors are very professional, kind, and willing to answer any questions you may have, to the best of their knowledge! It was very neat to look through the telescope through the roof, and see some stars! Hopefully we’ll get to see planets next time. Definitely enjoyed it here, even if it’s a little tight upstairs. One of the instructors showed us different planets and stars on the big projector screen down in the main room. It was so amazing! Definitely recommend stopping by, and it’s free! They usually are open every Monday from 9:30 to 11:30 if the sky is clear. Though this week they said they’re going to try to open every day!

We didn’t have time to do any hikes this time, but have done them in the past and they provide more awesome views of the canyon and you pass some ancient trees. Worth the stop and worth going out of the way to visit. Our national park pass was good to get us in, so no extra charge!

Nice place for a quick stop to see Bryce canyon NP-like views. The spectra trail was nice, but they also have an observation deck area that will give you equally nice views of you don't have time to walk the trail. The gift shop has reasonably priced shirts and sweatshirts. You're required to have your state park pass to enter this location but no one checks so you can basically just walk the trail and see the observation deck without having to show your park pass at all. As long as you don't go into the visitor center, you're good. There is a clean bathroom at the parking lot.

Go up there if you can. Very similar to Bryce, but 2000 ft higher in elevation. The ride up there from Zion to Bryce (yes it is a detour) in late September with the aspens in bloom was spectacular. Even had to stop to allow some grazing sheep to cross. WELL WORTH A TRIP.

Take a moment and read the various information that's available at the visitor center as they are very helpful. The geological formation at this area is quite amazing. They are restrooms you can use and it's easily accessible from the parking lot. There are several viewpoints around this monument and I highly recommend you go to her the Northern viewpoint as it gives you a very different perspective. I think the best time to visit is doing sunrise and not sunset.

This gorgeous park is such a hidden gem! Was never on our plans, never heard of it until a friend told me about it. SO glad we went! If you’re in the area of Zion and Bryce, this is a must do!!! It’s like a mini Grand Canyon! Visitors center and staff were great too…
