Scenic Railroads
Conway Scenic Railroad is a nostalgic 19th-century train station located in North Conway, NH. It offers rides on restored locomotives with dining cars, providing a charming and quaint experience at the heart of the Valley. The area is known for its ski town charm, with shops, dining options, and Schouler Park surrounding the railroad. The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce collaborates with local businesses to promote the region as a premier New England destination.
This is a historic railroad located in the White Mountains and it was built in 1874. The station is in North Conway. We took a 55 minute round trip ride on this train during our visit. It's such a fun activity to do if you have kids, love history, and/or love trains. The employees were friendly, the seats were comfy, and the views were amazing. We went in May so the train was pretty empty; they gave us the option of riding in first class, free of charge. Score! They also told us stories and facts through the intercom. I highly recommend a visit!
Kim V — Google review
I had higher expectations but it was still a nice relaxing ride. 70% of the time was spent riding through a wall of trees and towns. When you enter the train, for best views sit on left side. Once it did open up, the views were great. Definitely consider a fall ride during peak for the best color.
Ashley S — Google review
We were so excited to take the scenic railroad train ride. Cut out a scenic drive in the national park to make the trip. The train car was really cool and built in 1923 very detailed features and use to be a passenger train from new Jersey to Manhattan. The ride was smooth and relaxing with the sun coming through all the windows. The scenic views were sub par from construction zones, neighborhoods, junky back yards, businesses, a corn field and one nice view of a mountain range with soccer goals all in front of it. Very disappointed from what was described on the website to what was actually delivered. Maybe the 4hr trip is better but the 1hr was just a train ride without the scenic views. I will say everyone was nice and polite and the car was exceptionally clean. Adding pictures of the #view of your doing the 1hr to save your time.
Big F — Google review
This is a wonderful opportunity to see the changing colors in the fall. However, I recommend that you do NOT reserve the dome car which has the most expensive seats. The dome and windows are not clean and are tinted so you can not get pics. In addition, we were freezing as there is no heat and the seats appear short than in the main cars. Four hours is a long ride to see more ‘of the Same’. I might recommend a shorter, less expensive option.
Karen B — Google review
We had a really enjoyable experience. We travelled in Dome class which does give you better views. The trees along the track obscure much of the views so you really have to enjoy the journey itself. It is quite an expensive activity so you really have to like riding a train. I feel like they could have made the experience more valuable with a complimentary drink and snack. There is a snack bar on board but queues are long. Overall we are glad we did the journey but I wouldn’t repeat it
Morag C — Google review
We took a 1-hour ride to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely time! We bought first-class tickets and had the car entirely to ourselves (on an August Sunday). The views were lovely, the seats and car were comfortable (and the A/C had no trouble keeping up with the August heat), and we had a delightful time. For the first half of the trip there was a pre-recorded narration of the sights coming up (in a soothing Mr. Rogers–style voice — we felt like he liked us just the way we are!), which helped me get in position for photos. The second half of the trip (coming back along the same track) had no narration. Probably not good for small children with limited attention spans, but a delightful, relaxing experience for adults who like scenery and history. One thing to watch out for: We did not allow for the dense traffic we experienced on our way to the station, and we ended up being the last people aboard and had to scramble to get our boarding passes. In general, traffic in the area during the summer was a lot thicker and slower than I expected. (Since we were the only people in the first-class car, though, it didn’t matter that we were the last ones aboard.) There were a few fun historical exhibits in the station; it's worth taking the time before or after your ride to check those out.

Riding the Conway Scenic Railroad was a truly unforgettable experience like stepping back in time while gliding through some of New Hampshire’s most breathtaking landscapes. The vintage train cars were beautifully restored, and the ride itself was smooth, peaceful, and full of charm. As we traveled through lush forests and over scenic bridges, the fall colors were absolutely stunning, making every moment feel like a moving postcard. The staff were incredibly friendly and shared fascinating local history throughout the journey, adding depth to the views outside the window. Whether you're a train enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing and scenic escape, this ride is a perfect blend of nostalgia, nature, and New England charm.
Salma M — Google review
We rode the scenic railway at the beginning of October. Overall it was a disappointing experience. We chose the dome class for the best views. Unfortunately the windows were filthy so it wasn’t possible to get good photographs. A lot of the journey is through trees and woodland so the views aren’t great. It does open up towards the end so you can enjoy the scenery. It is expensive for what it is. The ticket collection was confusing, we queued for a long time to board the train and were directed to the wrong carriage. This process could have been better organised . If you love trains it’s worth doing otherwise you’re see more driving around.

Waterfalls
Diana's Baths is a picturesque series of cascading waterfalls located in Bartlett, New Hampshire, just outside of North Conway Village. The site was originally home to a water-powered sawmill built in the 1860s. A smooth trail leads visitors to the pools and waterfalls, with varying water levels throughout the year. According to local Native American legend, the baths were once inhabited by evil spirits until they were washed away by a friendly mountain god in a massive flood.
Great little day trip. Beautiful spot to take littles to swim. It's a bring in take out place. No trash cans near the falls. Bit of a walk to get there, but it's mostly a walk. All shaded! Short drive from down town north Conway. Super easy find.
Jessica J — Google review
Parking is in an open gravel parking lot. There is a box at the entry to the trail where you pay through honor system. Restrooms are located at the entry too. Nice hike through lush forest next to the stream. There are small ponds and waterfalls past Diana's Bath. Hiking trail is not easy but less than an intermediate-level hike for some parts.
MI S — Google review
Outstanding marvel of nature! We spent a ton of time here, when the water level is low you can climb on the rocks. We climbed to the top. In the summer you can get refreshed by the cold waterfalls. Just be very careful as the rocks are worn smooth and are slippery even when dry.
Jen B — Google review
We we're looking for a little walk with a 'reward' at the end and this place didn't disappoint. A really nice cool walk through the trees to Diana's Bath and the relaxing sound of running water. We used our America The Beautiful pass for free parking too.
Danno — Google review
There wasn't much water due to the drought we've been having, but there were still small water streams and not having as much water allowed us to explore on the rocks a little more which was cool. Definitely want to visit again when we're not in a drought.
Desiree A — Google review
Great place for a family friendly experience. Just be cautious of climbing on the rocks, it can be slippery. Very scenic and beautiful rock formations with waterfalls. Nice place to picnic but get there early because it's a popular attraction
Neil J — Google review
It's a short easy hike which leads to a great many rocky steps which sends water cascading down into a plethora of pools. Great place to run around without too many sharp ledges to worry about. Always take care where the rocks look wet, of course! A few brief downsides: when we went there around early afternoon, it did take awhile to get into the parking lot. It's a very popular place! Also, the bathroom was a pig style (and smelled worse than one...)
Shadedk4 — Google review
A past time we have been enjoying with family every year since 1998! Such an iconic spot. The rainfall for the year determines how beautiful the falls will be. Easy half a mile walk to the falls then climb the rocks yourself or with your kiddos, grandkids and pups. Bring water or hiking shoes with you. Last but not least, get there before 8:30 because the line backs up out the entrance.

Factory Outlets
Settlers Green Outlet Village in North Conway, New Hampshire offers a tax-free shopping experience with 70 outlet stores featuring popular brands like Michael Kors, Columbia, Cotopaxi, Kate Spade, and J. Crew. Visitors can also explore Tanger Outlets in Tilton for more discounted fashion from stores like Gap, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, and Talbots.
Settler’s Green in No. Conway is a shoppers dream come true. Anything in apparel, gadgets, goodies and food are all there. Steep discounts are given and who doesn’t like buying stuff with no sales tax, thanks to we residents who pay high real estate taxes. I was impressed by the layout of the stores, the landscaping with raised island beds of grass and trees. In good weather there are musicians singing and playing their guitars, logistically placed in areas that won’t interfere with other artists. Be sure and give them a little something.
Stephen S — Google review
We were at this outlet to grab some dinner mainly. We couldn’t really do any shopping since the outlet closed all stores at 7pm. That was unexpectedly too early for us. We still explored the outlet a bit. There are parking lots all around the place, not too difficult to find parking. It’s mostly clean. Security personnel were walking around to make sure the safety of shoppers. There’s a beer garden (was closed) and some good restaurants to dine as well. Lots of directories available at entrance points. They had over 50 different stores, including some popular ones like Gap, Old Navy, Kate Spade, MK, Levi’s, Adidas, Pandora, Skechers and Crocs. Most of them had discount offers and memorial day weekend sale going on, on top of reduced outlet price on items.
Nehal A — Google review
Settlers Green is a nice place to go shopping if you dont to do outdoor stuff in the Mt Washington Valley. Been coming for years. The place is pretty much clean. The reason I give it four out of five stars is it never really seems to keep the most popular stores Nike used to be here which was a great store. There are other stores that have come and gone now they have under Armour Old Navy, the gap, etc., and for the kids they have Ryan family center. There is always plenty of parking. And there is a hotel on the property. The deals are either hit or miss one week. Every store has a sale that’s really good and then the next week there’s nothing. They have bathrooms. The properties also divided into two sections with the newer stores a few hundred feet away.
Abner B — Google review
Settlers Green is an outdoor shopping plaza in the beautiful town of North Conway. It is a tax free shopping plaza which consumers can benefit from. There is a coffee shop, candy shop, restaurants, and name brand stores like Columbia and Sketchers to name a couple. We went there a couple of times and enjoyed walking around and shopping. We've dined at Barley and Salt and got coffee at The Met Coffee House. Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy shopping. They also have electric vehicle chargers and plenty of free parking.
Kim V — Google review
Where do I begin shopping in North Conway? I would definitely start here. There is a wide range of stores, Nike, Tablots, Banana Republic, etc, for you to choose from. I would definitely recommend checking it out. Great shopping outlet!
Owen D — Google review
I thought it was okay. Lots of shops but lots of shops were closed. I went with a senior trip. There was a lot of walking from one end to the other... not too many choices of places to eat. We ended up settling for market basket. Prices were great. All in all it's not a bad place to attend.. just put some good walking shoes on
N — Google review
Settlers Green Outlet Village is located in North Conway, NH on Route 16 and has over 60 stores that offers a wide variety of shopping and food for families. Today was a Monday in mid-April and we were pleased to see the parking lot mostly full, many shoppers in stores, and people carrying bags of purchased items. The last 4-6 times we have visited the mall it was like a ghost town with very few cars, empty store fronts and few shoppers with no bags of purchased items. The store fronts are now filling up and is good post-COVID news.
Jim O — Google review
This was a great outlet. Very clean, all the stores you could want and decorated so cute for fall. My little daughter even turned it into her own personal dance floor! She loved the music, bears statues, creating songs with her brother and more. Will definitely visit again!

Zebs General Store is a quintessential old-fashioned dimestore located in an old yellow porch-front Colonial on Route 16. It exudes a nostalgic charm with its soda fountain, penny-candy counter, and barrels of goods on wooden floors.
Always a fun place to stop at! They got rid of the barrel of pickles, understandably. They have so many different foods that you don’t find at your traditional store. Dried soups, jarred everything almost, soap, kitchen goods, everything. And a candy bar. They have a lot of antiques scattered everywhere too which are fun to look at.
Sasha A — Google review
Kind of hard to beat a store that has everything! I had just gotten back in town from a hike and was looking for some souvenirs for my kids....it was 5:55 and they closed at 6! The staff was extremely kind still as me and a handful of other last minute shoppers made our way through the endless aisles of everything. Next time I'm in town, I look forward to carving out an hour of my day to really check this store out. Very unique place!
Charles M — Google review
This is by far the most beautiful store i ever visited. Every single stuff in the store is specifically designed and made to look feel authentic/different. It’s just worth a visit.
Shashank T — Google review
A must visit if you're in North Conway. It's a vintage style convenience store. They carry all types of items from candies to soaps and more. They also have their own sodas and spreads. It's located in a convenient location with many amenities nearby. We were walking around town and saw this spot. I also read some good reviews about it. It's a large gift shop with many items. A perfect place to buy items for yourselves and as gifts. We bought some candies; I love the penny old school style candies. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop even though it is a tourist trap.
Kim V — Google review
We saw a big queue outside this store so just joined it, not really knowing what we were queuing for. So pleased that we did because it's an amazing store that you can spend ages in exploring. There's so many different things to look at and I really loved all of the old fashioned artefacts.
Steve — Google review
Legendary Store. Its a feel good place that sells everything under the sun. Nostalgia is excellent here. Homemade everything here....candy, fudge, chocolates, jams, jellies, sauces, salsa, aioli, baking goods to make ...breads, muffins, cookies, cakes, soups, large variety of Zebs specialty sodas, homemade soaps, lotions, bath bombs, spices, popcorn and a ton of novelty trinkets and souvenirs....tees, hoodies etc...there are 2 floors... a child's dream an adults happy place....a must visit !!!!!
Renee F — Google review
It's a fun general store with a wide variety of products. But it gets crowded! I didn't think it would be crowded first thing on a rainy Monday morning. But I was wrong! I purchased maple syrup and a bar of honeysuckle soap.

Located in North Conway, NH, the Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum offers a range of interactive play opportunities for children up to age 10. From a pretend store and treehouse to learning exhibits and a drama center where kids can put on puppet shows or dress up in costumes, the museum encourages imaginative play. Young visitors can also explore themed areas such as animals, castles, kitchens, and farms using toys, puppets, books, and other educational items.
Great rainy day boredom buster!!!! We arrived at opening to a line, so be prepared. A greeter was at the door, cheerful and counting each person entering. Each room held more activities and things to explore. - Under the sea, princesses, dinosaurs, trains, a restarunt, a veterinarian office just to name a few. Everything was in good repair and clean - activity sets had all the pieces to play! Our 2.5 year olds were kept busy for almost 2 hours and could have stayed longer! Even as crowded as it was there was plenty to do and see. Extremely clean, friendly staff and military families are free!
Elizabeth T — Google review
From the outside you would not expect a very big museum, but this place has tons of space and lots of different themed rooms. An excellent place to spend time with little kids and encourage their imagination! Lots of information on the walls about play and how it is good for children.
Mindy G — Google review
This place is amazing. Hands on, very fun. Gets very busy on weekend afternoons. Great place to bring a little one to really connect and play with. Our family's roots run deep here :)
Rick M — Google review
We were very happy to find this place. Our 18 month old had so much fun. There's a lot of thought that goes into this place. The themes are wonderfully put together with the toys to go along with them. This is a great place for children to play and use their imaginations. We were only going to do the day passes due to living over an hour away but left with a membership. Our little one had so much fun the over an hour drive will be well worth it.
Jessica R — Google review
Brought my almost 1 year old here for our first time and it was great! From the outside I wasn't so sure, but inside was amazing. Paintings all over the walls, so many different themed rooms that seemed to just go on and on and on. Then there's this really cool room downstairs with glow in the dark paint and lights with the solar system painted all along the walls. I didn't get the family membership this time, but I definitely will be soon! Oh, and the woman working there was so friendly and sweet it was really comfortable I'd highly recommend any kid from 8 months old to about 10, especially if they play well with little ones!
Carlie M — Google review
My son has a great time every time we go. They do a good job adding new things to do, so it's always interesting.
Chris S — Google review
This place is awesome! My 14 month old had so much fun and will for years to come! Very clean and the staff was super friendly. There is so much going on in this two story museum. A train room, a kitchen,a climbing tree, multiple sand boxes and so much more! We will be coming here a lot to beat the cabin fever this winter!
Mindy B — Google review
We really enjoy the children's museum. The membership isn't very expensive and it helps support the local community. There are lots of really fun toys and imaginative play areas too. It can get a little busy when the weather is poor, but it's spread out enough not to be too crowded. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Water & Amusement Parks
Kahuna Laguna Indoor Water Park, located at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort in North Conway, is a year-round destination offering 40,000 square feet of aquatic fun. Recognized as one of the top indoor water parks in the country, it features a wave pool, four high-speed slides, water basketball and volleyball activities, and an interactive play area with a 70-gallon tipping bucket.
Great family experience! I was impressed overall by the staff, the facility, and how much fun the kids had. It is a little bit expensive but it felt like we got what we paid for! The staff -the front desk, the life guards, and the kitchen staff were all very friendly and understood they were working in a place that was frequented by young kids, very welcoming The facility -lockers are included in the price, towels are also readily available, large changing rooms (well heated) , family bathroom with changing table, and showers/soap in the bathrooms as well, everything was well maintained and clean. There are a good amount of tables, chairs, food court area tables. The cafe is a little expensive but the pizza was really good and fed our group of 7 no problem. The fun -my kids ended up staying five hours and played the entire time! There is a large hot tub, a play adventure area with large dumping bucket and two small water slides, a toddler area with swings and water slides, two large tube slides, two body slides, a wave pool, a basketball water court, and a jet sprayer area. It’s enough stuff to be a good mix but not overwhelming It wasn’t packed either, we never waited in line and my kids did the water slides dozens of times! We will definitely be coming back!
Drew H — Google review
This place is amazing! They have stuff for infants up through adults. My kids loved it and I ha e to say I really enjoyed it too. We stayed from 11:30 until 7:30. The wave pool is a huge hit! **Just a tip for someone with a little one like my four year old that wants to enjoy the wave pool, but it's too rough.** Go to the basketball area! The waves go over there but are super gentle and only goes up to 3 feet! It was perfect!
Erica D — Google review
Came here as birthday party guest. 2 year old celebration. Nice small water park for my toddlers first time. She enjoyed the wave pool, big water bucket and mini slides. You can bring your own food or buy from a food stand, - frozen pizza, tenders, fries act. Very packed on this Saturday. Not enough seating, we couldn’t find a place to put our things down for the first 20 mins. Overall fun time.
Alba G — Google review
What a great place to spend a few hrs on some water slides and in a hot tub! My husband and I saw this indoor Waterpark online and decided to stop in while on our anniversary. It is family friendly, but I wasn't sure how I'd feel being an adult with no kids going here. I LOVED the water slides as they were fast, but not too much to be scary. My hubby and I must have gone down 6-10 times, sometimes double-tubing, some times single.
Vanessa D — Google review
My kids loved this place! We were pleasantly surprised at how fun this waterpark is. It has something for everyone. The slides were thrilling yet not over the top or scary, there were various types of slides, some you can go down without a tube, some you go down with a tube individually or paired up. The wave pool produced nice, strong waves, the water was very clean. Plenty of seats available for everyone. We especially liked the basketball pool and even the outdoor pool was massive, warm and delightful. There were various areas for younger kids and non-swimmers as well. We had lunch there and the food was actually pretty good. Overall, the pricing was very fair and worth the time there. Dare I say my kids prefer Kahuna Laguna over Great Wolf?!
Cx D — Google review
Very attentive lifeguards. Reasonably priced and open late! Plenty of food, snack, beverage items available as well as any miscellaneous swim gear you may need. Staff were friendly and amicable. My kids didn’t have to wait more than a few seconds for the slides. Pool water seemed clean and fresh. Lockers were inexpensive and easy to access. Large bathroom area and showers available as well. We almost went for a second night but we will definitely be back soon!
Kay N — Google review
My friend and I went on Wednesday. There were no lines for the water slides. We stayed for 4 hours. We had a blast going from wave pool, to basketball, slides, jacuzzi, and of course we waited for the big bucket to dump water on us. We did have to pay for a locker, which was 5 more dollars. The pizza was pretty good and the fries were amazing. We are definitely going again.

This was wonderful and fun. The wave pool is so much fun, hot tub is wonderful and warm but be careful going into the waters it will be very cold. The slides are wonderful gave me a cut but not too bad wasn’t stinging it was still so much fun.

Pub
Located in North Conway, the Muddy Moose Restaurant & Pub offers a cozy lodge-like setting with a wilderness theme, making it an ideal spot for enjoying American cuisine with friends and family. The restaurant features a warm bar and a lively atmosphere, perfect for get-togethers. With its delicious menu and outstanding catering services, it's a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. We were greeted by smiling host and our waitress was so sweet and funny. Knew the menu well and made some very good suggestions for us when we couldn’t make up our minds because there were too many many wonderful choices. I only wish this restaurant was closer to home. The Slopeside nachos with pulled pork were soooo good. They make St Louis style ribs with their homemade specialty blackberry bbq sauce…chefs kiss🤌 Give them a try next time you’re in the area or just traveling through. You won’t regret it.

Out of 4 nights in North Conway, we went here 3 nights. It was excellent every time. The first night, i had the sirloin steak and mashed potato which was amazing and very well cooked at Medium Well. On the other nights, I had the Muddy Moose burger and the half rack of ribs (both with fries), which were delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. It had a nice cosy rustic atmosphere and wasn't too loud although it was very busy every time.
Luke N — Google review
My wife and I stopped for a quick bite to eat. The ambience is nice and the service was incredibly fast. There’s no doubt this place gets busy during peak season. We enjoyed the Spinach Dip and Turkey Wrap. One of our favorite spots to stop while in North Conway.

My husband and I went to North Conway for our anniversary. Food is my number one thing I want when away! Everyone we talked to highly recommended the muddy moose. We went Friday and Saturday because it was sooo good! The steak was amazing. The chicken Caesar salad also so good. We can’t wait to be back!
Nicole C — Google review
I’ll start with the pros… the staff is friendly and the place is clean. Unfortunately, they miss the mark with the actual food, which is probably the most average to mediocre food we’ve had in a very long time. We really can’t think of a single item that was worth eating. We started with wings as we had been craving some good, crispy buffalo wings. I guess what we got would pass as wings… flabby wings without even a hint of crispness. They were fatty and the sauce maybe had a hint of buffalo flavor but mostly it was just greasy, as though the kitchen staff has never been taught to drain fried foods before serving. The carrots/celery served with the wings were sopping wet, which didn’t help. Ah well, we had higher hopes for our meals, but we were clearly too optimistic as those were not better at all. We got the bbq bacon burger which wasn’t even half eaten because again, the bbq sauce felt and tasted like grease. We also got the bbq chicken bacon sandwich and all that was eaten was the chicken because- you guessed it- everything tasted like grease. Also, how is any restaurant worth its merit sending out burgers and chicken sandwiches on ungrilled buns? I can honestly say that the only enjoyable part of the meal was the pickle that came with the sandwiches. I really don’t know how this place stays in business, but $80 for awful wings and sandwiches (most of which was thrown away) is infuriating. It says to me that the owners don’t care about putting out a quality product and just figure they can overcharge for garbage food because it’s a tourist area. Do yourself favor and don’t waste your money here - you’re better off at McDonald’s.
Sunny D — Google review
Good pub food and an awesome staff. Sitting outside on the deck is nice when weather permits as it's usually very loud inside. There is no view of the mountain range, but it's still a good spot for a bite. We had a key lime encrusted haddock and a cheddar cheeseburger with sweet potato fries.
Corey M — Google review
The place was busy but we did not wait for seating. There was a lot of room and the decor was very interesting. The wait staff was great. Place was nice and clean
Ketteland F — Google review
The Muddy Moose says it all! Great big fireplace and ski lifts with carved animals. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to begin. Excellent! The haddock fish sandwich had a light flavorful breading on it. To finish it off.. the Moose track ice cream. Who doesn't like fudge swirled in ice cream with mini peanut butter cups! YUM! We did share the dessert.

Echo Lake State Park is a picturesque 118-acre haven located just west of town, nestled between the Marshall Conservation Area and Dianas Baths. This charming park features a serene trail that meanders around the lake, perfect for leisurely strolls while soaking in stunning views of Cathedral Ledge and Whitehorse Ledge. In the summer months, swimming becomes a popular activity here, complemented by ample picnic areas equipped with tables and charcoal grills—ideal for family gatherings or relaxing afternoons by the water.
Am a local to the state of NH about 1.5hr drive from this beautiful place Will recommend Will return I have state park plates so I went to New Hampshire State Parks website and made a reservation for this particular day in Wood State Park plates you pay one dollar which is your processing fee Without state Park plates, the entry fee is eight dollars per car I recommend making reservations on the website rather than just rolling up in person. They do have a large parking lot, but it seems to fill very quickly. The beach is very family oriented. You can rent canoes. You can rent kayaks. You can rent paddle boats. The fees are very reasonable. They have tubes. You can also purchase for a small fee of six dollars. The beach was not overcrowded. They have many hiking trails and areas around that area as well. They have charcoal grills that you can use up off the beach with some grassy area that you could also camp at. There is also a bathhouse there that’s open as well as a small store There are no lifeguards it’s a swim at your own risk

Beautiful little state park with a small entrance fee. We hiked Bryce trail up to Cathedral ledges. It was an intense uphill in several spots. Would recommend a hiking stick for older knees. Fantastic views. Found out you can drive up also once we got there. We didn't make it over to the White horse ledges, but I assume it's similar views.
Mel C — Google review
This place made me feel like a pro hiker. I went there with my husband and we are supposed to be walking around the lake but then we end up climbing to the top of White horse Ledge. And take not I am not a hiker I am just a beginner but it’s worth it. Maybe they have to make the trail signs more clearer as we almost got lost because some trees fell down and it made us confused. But aside from that we made it to the top.
Lynn P — Google review
Great for kids, beautiful park. Sun and shade. Picnic tables, grills, handicap accessible. Great views of cathedral ledge and mountain climbers climbing up it. Bring binoculars! And enjoy the day.
Richard B — Google review
Beautiful lake with the backdrop of hill. We went on a windy day yet had a lot of fun. There is place to grill, so BYO grilling stuff. No wood burning is permitted. It is trash in and trash out so I suggest brining trash bags if you are picnicking. Bring hiking shoes as the hiking is steep.
Radha T — Google review
What a beautiful spot! You have to make a reservation on the holiday weekends at least. I pulled the car over and was able to get in that day. You can fish here - my son didn't catch anything but we were only there for an hour. It's a picture perfect place. Cost us 11$ for two adults and one child. They have clean restroo.s and even a gift shop! All the staff were extremely friendly which added to our great time!
Desiree M — Google review
Very nice lake to take the kids to swim. Unfortunately, it’s useless to try and fish there. Spent 5 hours with not even a bite. As we were leaving, the guard explained that it is no longer stocked and is spring fed which is not a place you can trout fish. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful view.
Jr A — Google review
I feel weird rating a park 4 stars, because I know how hard people (employees as well as volunteers) work to keep trails clear, clean, etc. We hiked the white horse ledge trail and it was a great hike, great views. I wish it was better marked, we took a few wrong turns from the start and had to really keep a close watch for the next blaze. I also wish someone could relocate the bee's nest on the trail, or perhaps just mark it well and provide a way around it. I got stung a half dozen times before we got past it, and my dog too.

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is a pirate-themed mini-golf destination featuring 18-hole landscaped courses with waterfalls, caves, and footbridges. It offers 18 or 36-hole fares for visitors to enjoy some light-hearted competition and family fun. The creatively designed course provides challenging and easy holes, surrounded by beautiful flowers and clean, well-kept greens.
Very fun minigolf place. Two courses of 18 holes each. The landscaping is well maintained with lots of pollinator activity, fun to watch. Would recommend.
Bram W — Google review
We had a blast doing all 36 holes! We went on a Friday and it was super budget friendly. Enjoyed the write ups at each hole describing historical events about actual pirates. The facility was super clean and landscaped beautifully. When we googled it, we realized it was a chain, and we are going to try Pirates Cove at some of their other locations for more fun!
Meg M — Google review
The staff were very friendly and fun. We did all 36 holes. My wife finished 1 under par and I finished 1 over par. Very good time. We went early on a Wednesday morning and we never got interrupted by any other guests.

June 25, 2024 Tuesday afternoon Pirate's Cove. North Conway, NH Eight of us went to Pirate's Cove which was part of the Comfort Suites or some hotel there on the main street in North Conway, a small town at the foothills of Mt. Washington in beautiful New Hampshire. I know Pirate's Cove Mini-golf from Cape Cod which was a fun activity way back in High School. This one was amazing because it had 36 holes, basically two courses in one. You could go for a challenging course or you could go for an easier course. We opted for the more challenging course called Blackbeard's challenge. The high score should be 44 strokes over 18 holes but I scored a 41! I won in my party of 4 with 2 holes in one. Thank you thank you. Some were challenging and some were easy but the pirate facts were great and the employees were locals and it was $11 for a great hour and a half. Also 4 years old and under are free and they should be as one in our group was under 4 and they kept retrieving golf balls I hit and giving them back to me. D'oh! Thanks Pirate's Cove and I bet the next time I can get a better score!
Clifford L — Google review
7/27: Hours state they close at 9pm. Refused to let me and my two kiddos play at 8:30. Poor customer service, or just lazy. Not sure which. Update: 7/28. The manager of the hotel offered us free mini golf, it was a nice gesture, but I respectfully declined as I don’t mind paying. My wife went into pay for us, and again, two miserable employees. You work at a mini golf course, if you don’t like your job, leave. When my wife tries to ask questions and doesn’t get an answer because the two 20 year olds are buried in their phones, showcasing exactly why Gen Z has the reputation they do, they shouldn’t be mad when I leave an honest review. The mini golf course is wonderful. Very fun, great shape, etc. Also, the response provided by the hotel employees (not the mini golf employees) after they read my initial review was very much appreciated. 5 stars for hotel employees. 0 stars for the miserable kids working the mini golf shack.

Fun place! We got here right as it opened on Sunday and within 20 minutes there were big crowds, so I recommend being the first one out if you visit on the weekend because otherwise you’ll be spending hours here.

My family has been coming here for over a decade, and it has without fail always been a great time. We went there again recently, and it was nostalgic yet still had some new fresh things about it. We were greeted at the front desk by an employee named Cam and they made the experience even more awesome! Kudos to them!!!
Doop D — Google review
This mini golf course was fun to play. It's well maintained and has beautiful flowers everywhere. We lost a ball on one of the holes and the staff used a leaf blower to push it out, no penalty stroke on that one. Several of us lost stroke to water hazards though.

This charming park features a lush grassy field surrounded by trees and benches, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or picnicking. Families will love the playground and splash pad designed specifically for children to enjoy on warm days.
Super clean spot right in the middle of the little city great for the kids to get a little energy out. Located next door to the park restrooms that are clean and even offer a gym, pool table, and ping pong table in the rec center. Also right across the parking lot is the train that goes around Conway itself. You have to appreciate such a clean place with amazing Mountain views and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and little shops to get yourself whatever you are in need of.

Shoulder Park is a little park set in the heart of North Conway, NH. There is a great playground for little ones, and lots of open space for playing or relaxing. We were there for 4th of July and there was a band and vendors. There are generally public restrooms but for this large event there were port a potties. The location is right by the Conway Scenic Railway with easy access to enjoy a train ride and right within the shopping area with lots of fun sores and eating establishments. The only drawback is sometimes lack of parking, but I've always managed to make it work.

When visiting North Conway, don't miss out on the fun at UberBlast, a family-friendly entertainment center offering laser tag, mini golf, arcade games, and ski ball. Located conveniently on the main strip, it's easy to overlook but worth a visit for both kids and adults. The arcade may be small but it exudes nostalgia with its cheap prizes and classic games. The outdoor bounce house area and mini-golf provide more opportunities for enjoyment.
Kids had so much fun we visited twice! Prices are very reasonable across the board. The arcade still uses tokens and gives tickets which the kids loved! Lasertag was the perfect size for 4-8 people to play. Mini golf course was also pretty cool. It was the same gentleman at the counter both days and I am not sure if he is the owner but he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

I thought this place would have a much more exciting golf course with attractions and obstacles at each hole. The arcade inside is very small and only has a few games to play that give you tickets that you turn in for prizes. You're lucky if you end up with enough for a mini tootsie roll.
Kristin — Google review
In agreement with most of the other reviews on this one. The course is a bit older, but well maintained. The patches take away from the astetic, but not the play at all.The wife, kids and I went and played mini golf. Then the girls played laser tag. Last Friday I took my son to go see "And Then There Were None". We were not disappointed at all. It was a wonderful performance. Apparently Flatbread moved up the road about a mile this past June. I was bummed out because they had a nice little spot over at the inn. But once I saw the new spot, I think they made the right move. Beautiful building, and big. I noticed the pride flags had been replaced with American flags, which I and others greatly appreciate! The service was wonderful. Maybe better than at their previous location. There were two ladies who waited on me, one who was training. They did a great job, no complaints. You still get the full open fire cooking experience. And the food is still delicious. Definitely worth a stop while you're in the area.
BlueBox M — Google review
Great flatbread pizzas. So fresh and great combinations. Amazing salads as well. A little bit of a wait for the pizza when it is busy but that is because they make everything fresh so well worth it. They also can accommodate celiac with pizza and our friend with celiac was so pleased with the yummy gluten free crust. Their new larger restaurant is beautiful and has a spectacular view from the side lawn with Adirondack chairs out for casual enjoyment. Highly recommend!!

We were visiting from California and totally enjoyed eating. Here. The selection of flatbread/ Pizza was over the top! We also had a very delicious white wine. We got the co-evolution large Pizza and we split a salad. It was way more than both of us could eat and we should have probably got a small size pizza. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere is great. You can see a gentleman cooking all the flatbeds in a wood stove and because of the high ceilings I think all the noise lifts up so it's is not very noisy at all in there. For dessert we had the cinnamon apple crisp and that's topped with ice cream. It was to die for! As someone who has never been here before or had this food, we highly recommend it!

Great place to bring your kids. We went with a group of adults and teens and we still had a great time. It's more safe than bigger parks, has more of a home feeling than you'd expect. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They're very safe witht the rides and you can bring in food and drinks of your own.

Cute amusement park but kind of dated. The park is storybook /nursery rhyme themed but we noticed most kids did not know Humpty Dumpty, mother goose, the old lady in the shoe and other rhymes. The water park “moo lagoon” is quite nice and they have adorable farm animal mascots. Cinderellas pumpkin coach was cute. And how cool to take it up to the castle to visit and have pix made with Cinderella.

I wish I could live there! Great entertainment, fun rides, saw favorite characters from when I was a child. I sat with Mother Goose and the old woman in the shoe Saw beautiful Cinderella, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, Cinderella, Alice and even the fox. Went in the tea cups, a boat ride on a pirate ship and the train ride around the park. This was my first time there. My daughter and granddaughter brought me and I am so happy. There was lots of walking. They do have rentals for wheelchairs and scooters. (Also strollers). I think it truly takes more than one day to see and do many other things. There are other rides and splash pools in the summer. My granddaughter loves the Polarcoaster! She is 10 yrs old.

My family and I love going to Story Land! We are season pass holders and always get more than our money’s worth every year. My son is on the spectrum and this park is very autism-friendly. They have an amazing calming room (located right over by Humpty Dumpty next to the adult changing room) for when kids are dysregulated or are feeling overstimulated. All of the rides feature sensory ratings posted outside of the rides. We’ve been in June, July and October and the most we’ve ever waited in line was 40 minutes for the antique cars. October was so much fun for the Halloween decorations and cooler weather, lesser crowds, etc. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area with kids.

Winter and summer fun. Plenty of things to do for all ages. The park has plenty of parking. The resort if ever changing with the times. The prices have seem to risen drastically in the last few years, but they are always investing on making the park better. Skiing in the winter with night skiing possible. Tubing. Summer has bike courses, bouncy house, and a alpine slide that goes wicked fast. The alpine slide fits two. Child and adult. There is food on the property. The hotel is nearby and a bike path starts on the property.

I would have loved to of had a go on all of the rides myself, but unforgivable unfortunately didn't have the time. If you're staying at the hotel next door is great to drop the kids off here whilst you do all of the packing and load the car up. The children spent about 3hrs here and loved it, with the mountain coaster being there favourite ride. Plenty of free parking here and very very your tickets slightly cheaper through Groupon.

I went here just for the theme park and it was really enjoyable. The mountain coaster was definitely the best with a long track and not too much queuing. The Giant Swing was very fun and all times we went on had almost no queue. Really enjoyed the skilift up to Cranmore Mountain.

This is a nice little place to spend a few hours. The chair lift is peaceful and beautiful. The mountain coaster is a lot of fun, highly recommend. The swing was fun. The waits to ride the rides aren't terrible.

Cranmore Adventure Park: A Monday Full of Motion Cranmore Adventure Park delivered plenty of thrills on my Monday visit. The mountain coaster was the clear standout—fast, smooth, and surrounded by great views. Lines were short, which made it easy to hop from one attraction to the next without much waiting. There were lots of school groups visiting, giving the park an energetic, noisy buzz, though it stayed manageable. A few rides were closed, which limited the options a bit, and food lines dragged on longer than expected. Still, the friendly atmosphere and fun mix of activities made the day worthwhile. If you go, plan to eat early, check the ride schedule ahead of time, and don’t skip the coaster—it’s Cranmore’s crown jewel.

This place is perfect for a visit any season. We went there in the summer and returned in the winter, enjoying both visits a lot. In winter, there's more than just skiing: you can go snow tubing, ride the mountain coaster, try the eagle zip line, or even take a turn on the giant swing. For skiing, they've got three lifts and two magic carpets, making it great for any level of skier. They offer a variety of lessons, including private ones, group classes, and a kids' ski camp. The camp for kids is especially good. It runs from 10 am to 3 pm and includes lunch and snacks. For our kids, the student-to-instructor ratio was 1:1, which was fantastic for learning and fun. We also tried private lessons, which were excellent. The instructors are friendly and make the experience very enjoyable. Just remember, you need to book the camp and group classes at least 48 hours in advance. However, if you're interested in private lessons, you can sign up for those just 24 hours ahead.

The restaurant has become a popular food destination for both locals and visitors, offering high-quality ingredients, including some imported from Italy.
The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients! We were seated at the bar, the only down fall was the service. The bar tender wasn’t the happiest person but we all have our days. Cute and quiet ambiance!

We had high expectations but were disappointed. The food is good but no better than several places within five miles of our suburban Pennsylvania home. It was also very loud; not at all a place you would want to go to to have a conversation.
Bob B — Google review
Stopped in here for the first time for mine and a friend's birthday dinner. We sat at the bar and Herbie our bartender was great. It was very busy but he was still very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The food we got was very good as was the Tiramisu that I got to-go. Solid first impression. Though the dishes were very expensive I will still definitely return to try something new in the future.

Love this place but hate to say I was so disappointed with my butternut squash raviolis. It was a special for $35 for 6 raviolis. I hate to say I was still hungry when I finished and everyone else hadn’t even finished 1/4th of their meals. Although it was good, 6 raviolis with no protein is unacceptable :(

The perfect place to end our vacation! Outstanding food (even gluten free!), excellent service, an all around fabulous experience! I wish we could remember our waiter’s name (I think it started with an M), as he was excellent and so incredibly attentive to my husband’s gluten allergy as well as my request for a decaf latte. We could tell he really cared about the quality of the food and took the food allergy very seriously. The starter salad had a delicious house dressing, the bread with dipping oil was so good, our entrees were perfect. We also had the flourless chocolate cake which was melt-in-your-mouth amazing and I had a delicious decaf latte. This was honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had anywhere and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend making a reservation days in advance if you are going during the busy fall season.

Fine dining Italian food. Service was great, didn't feel rushed so they could turn the table. We started with calamari with the banana peppers and a flavorful marinara. My wife had the lasagna and I myself had the chicken florentine with zitti. Both meals came with a side salad. Gilson was our server and was very pleasant and there when you needed him. This was our first visit definitely not our last.

My husband and I ate here for the 1st time tonight . We were seated in the bar after a 40 minute wait (we were told an hour). Literally beautiful bar top made out of copper. The room was cozy. The maple bourbon old fashion was top shelf. I had spaghetti with marinara sauce with Italian sausage ,hubby had ravioli with marinara and a meatball (which was BIG). Absolutely delicious. The complimentary salad , bread &oil were absolutely delicious as well. We got chocolate cake to go and that was yummy. Highly recommend.

Tuckerman Brewing, a family-owned brewery located in Conway, offers a variety of beers including an altbier, pale ale, and the popular 688 Stout. The spacious tap room features a curved bar and industrial chic decor where visitors can sample new beers, enjoy live music, and socialize with friends. The brewery also hosts tours for those interested in learning about the beer-making process.
Awesome selection of quality beer in a beautiful venue. Comfortable, cozy and a nice and spacious outdoors area too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fully recommend. Don't hesitate to stop by. Pizza was delicious too (a tad pricey, but you have to stay in business, and we weren't disappointed). We left happy and eager to return! Top-notch brewery in the region.

We first found this gem back when there was nothing but a muddy path to a back door into a tiny room with a few picnic tables. There were more people at CrossFit than were in the brewery, how times have changed! Perhaps the best collection/variety of beer in NH, Tuckerman Brewing always satisfies! The Pale Ale and Rockpile IPA are by far my favorite, my wife loves the Kolsch. Whenever we make the trip over from the Lakes region we always stop in.

Large brewery with plenty of space to relax, whether you prefer sitting outside on Adirondack chairs or hanging out inside. They’ve been serving up great food, beer, and wine since 1998. Always a great place to unwind!
Crystal G — Google review
This place is great. I'm on the typical family vacation to North Country with two children ages 4 & 6 so I wanted a spot that was casual. We stopped by for some pizza for dinner and a few drinks. Plenty of choices for both! First, the pizza was excellent. We could have opted for the many choices of toppings but stuck with cheese because of our children. It didn't matter because it was delicious. Good amount of sauce to cheese ratio. We also opted for the pretzels which came with FOUR different dipping options. The pretzel was soft, flavorful and so good that we didn't share it with our children even though we could since the portion size was large enough. The beer selection was also a wonderful treat. Plenty of options for all types of beer drinkers. We wanted a flight, but since we were sitting outdoors we couldn't have glass outdoors which is what the flight is served in. But no problem! Our bartender poured into a plastic cup instead of glass and even labeled the cups with a sticky note! That was awesome because it meant we didn't need to expose other guests to our almost feral children who were enjoying the outside. The Kolash, Summer Pilsner, Wild River, Spice Protocol and Lime after Lime were each unique and full of robust flavor. The atmosphere was fantastic. Casual, professional staff, spotless and clean from the floors to table to bathrooms, plenty of merch and to go beer. The inside space was spacious and large. Plenty of seating at a variety of levels from high top, to low top and full Bavarian style long tables. We opted for the outside space since our children could run and run for yards and yards. It was a fenced in space, open and there were plenty of chairs and tables for two parents to sit and watch their heathens run around without disrupting anyone or anything. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to stop for a place to eat!

Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The food is limited but good. Plenty of drink choices. We had pumpkin slushies which were way too strong. It’s a recipe in progress. The live bands are a bonus and are great.

Sher F — Google review
This place was jam packed! Super busy (heard from some of the regulars it was the busiest they have seen it) yet the staff were all on point, serving up some delicious beers and food. We did not have time for food unfortunately but the beer was excellent. Service, also excellent. It was a rainy day so we didn't get to experience the outside area much but what a great little spot to relax and enjoy. The band that was playing was great fun and entertaining. First time I have been to the new location. I visited the old location several years ago and what a blast.

Located in Glen, New Hampshire, Living Shores Aquarium is a captivating indoor attraction at Pinkham Notch Road. This family-friendly destination offers an immersive experience where visitors can explore marine life from around the world. The aquarium features interactive touch tanks, exhibits showcasing colorful tropical fish and sea creatures, and educational activities aimed at raising awareness about ocean conservation. Guests can also enjoy interacting with otters, stingrays, tropical birds, and even have the opportunity to hold a snake.
I’m giving this charming little aquarium 4 stars, and it’s easy to see why! It’s a fantastic spot for every tiny adventurer in your family. You can stroll among the flying birds, marvel at the large tanks filled with beautiful fish, and get hands-on at the touch pools with sharks and intriguing invertebrates. One of my favorite activities is feeding the stingrays; it’s such a magical experience! The aquarium is small enough to navigate easily with little ones, yet big enough to make sure you have a memorable and enjoyable visit without feeling overwhelmed. Bring your family and discover the wonders together!
Lisa P — Google review
the aquarium is nice and small and wasn’t too crowded, loud, or overstimulating. the nibble fish and stingrays are very friendly and were fun to interact with. it was also cool to see a live axolotl and horseshoe crab for the first time. don’t expect to see a lot of colorful, “tropical” marine animals swimming about - that doesn’t mean the animals aren’t enjoyable to watch though! they do have plenty of cute reptiles too, which are in their own area if you’re not a snake/lizard/etc. person. I’d say my only “complaint” about the aquarium is that some “artwork” on the merchandise in the gift shop is clearly AI generated - and I personally thought that the enclosure for the softshell turtle was a little depressing, but I’m sure there’s a reason for it - but other than that I had an enjoyable time with my family. I’d recommend going if you enjoy aquatic life and/or reptiles and want a place that is small, relaxing, not too overstimulating, and interactive! And I’d say the tickets are a good price (especially online) if you plan on hanging out there for a while to enjoy the animals.
Raemond R — Google review
This is not a big aquarium but is great for young children. We went on a Friday to kill a couple of hours. Buy tickets on line for a discount. Took our 6 year old granddaughter and she loved the nibble fish the best. Feed the stingrays and turtles.
Rita E — Google review
We were super disappointed with our visit here. This "aquarium" is very overpriced and there is nothing here that warrants paying $25 per person and $10 to park. The website is deceptive about what you will see, making it appear larger than it is. In reality, it is one room with small "exhibits". Based on good Google reviews we were expecting to see otters, but only after leaving did we read all the 1 star reviews and realized that the otters and birds are gone. (The website does not say that.) The 1 star reviews go back at least 6 months saying that they are under construction, meaning they have been under construction for 6 months minimum. Furthermore, we always look forward to seeing things like jellyfish, seahorses and pirahanas. And although those weren't advertised, there were none, so that was disappointing. Finally, the lighting in the room was absurd. It was somehow both too bright and too dark. The overhead yellow lighting reflected off all the tanks and water in such a weird way that it was hard to see the animals or get nice photos. (As reflected in my attached photos.) We have traveled to many aquariums, including very small ones like Save The Bay in RI and they were still enjoyable and filled with exciting things to look at but this one was so underwhelming especially for this price. Everything here felt like what you'd see at a pet store. Don't bother.
Kristy B — Google review
This place was so cool! We finally got the chance to visit and both my husband and I were elated at being able to see all the reptiles and fish! Our five year old daughter was beyond ecstatic! It’s not a huge place, but there’s a lot to see and the touch tanks are amazing! I mean, it’s not everyday you can feel a manta ray or nibble fish or even starfish! The staff was quick and happy to stop and educate us on anything we had we wanted to learn about. I want to give a special shout out to Jackie in the gift shop! I could have spent all day talking to her, what a sweet lady, and funny! Overall, had a blast, totally worth it, look forward to visiting again!

Really enjoyed the Living Shores Aquarium! It was much more interactive than a lot of those I’ve been to in the past. The stingrays and bamboo sharks loved the attention! A much larger array of species than I had expected and some really beautiful enclosures. The alligator exhibit was amazing! I was however very disappointed in the size of the tank/cage for the Reticulated Python. It is a huge and beautiful snake and it had very little room to move around.
Lydia — Google review
We have been here a couple times. It is not a huge place, by any means, but you're right by Story Land, and it provides a great contrast. The exhibits are easily approachable, even if there is a decent amount of people in the aquarium. Staff is friendly and approachable, and there always seems to be some sort of exhibition going on. The layout is great, and the touch tanks have plenty of room around them, and the fish tanks have plenty of areas to view them from. There are some pretty friendly fish right when you walk in, my daughter was enraptured on both visits by a couple of fish that came up to her right as she walked by. The feedings are fun too, and so is the petting experience. We visited when my daughter was two, last year, and she STILL says "remember the stingrays?!?!" and "remember the fishies nibbling on you?" We visited again this year, with her being three now, and she had a great time again. There is a newly constructed reptile area as well, with some tortoises out in the open air that you can do a feeding with, along with a bunch of interesting frogs, snakes, and lizards. You probably spend about an hour or so in here if you really soak in each exhibit; personally I could do the sting-ray touch tank all day, it's mesmerizing watching them swim around and around in it. I think it is well worth the money, and even though it's not a full-day experience, not everything needs to be. Go to Story Land, and break up the day with a visit to Living Shores as well. We've done that twice now and it's been a great experience both times.

One unique resident is Spunky, a lovable frog who has been perched on the counter for 26 years—he's quite content with his spot!
Have little ones or a child at heart? This is a great place to visit. Reminiscent of Toys-R-Us this is a blast from the past in the best of ways l. From modern to nostalgic toys this store has that and more.
Michael A — Google review
I visited this store twice so far with my daughter. There is a wide selection of cool toys. The staff is absolutely miserable. Both times I have spent over $200 in this store and didn't even get a greeting or a thank you. I don't get miserable adults working at a toy store. A toy store is and should be a happy place. On the latest visit I purchased a clay kit for my daughter. The kit includes a pet bus that you need to assemble with cardboard but the pieces are misaligned and are not cut properly so it couldn't be assembled. We decided to make the best of it and just create some clay animals but the clay was hard and DRY. The only thing I could use in the kit was the instruction book. The clay and kit both went in the trash. The item wasn't cheap either. It was at least $25. It must have been sitting on the shelf forever .

Had an amazing 1st time experience I believe the owner and 2 employees helped to find what i needed was buying for 5 grandchildren They helped locate the toys I was looking for, had 5 yellow bags and write names for each child. Helped me carry to the car. 2 weeks before Christmas. I tell the story to my family. A great experience

I'm actually really surprised by the ratings of this place. The lady every time I've been in here has been anything but friendly. She doesn't talk she doesn't say anything not even a thank you at the end. Toys r slim pickings And it's just really not anything you haven't seen before at other toy stores and for friendlier service so I'm actually really surprised that it has so many great reviews. Also for where it's at it should definitely have better.

We ran in yesterday near closing time to pick up gifts for our niece's 10th birthday, and the employee couldn't have been more gracious or helpful, even when she was closing up. She really went the extra mile for us, and I regret failing to get her name so I could give her a personal shout out. They have a great selection, and the birthday girl was thrilled!
Antonia H — Google review
This store is excellent! My daughter loved it and got to pick out a few toys. The only reason i'm not rating a 5 was because of the condition of the areas where kids can play and try out toys. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. That does not make me feel too good, kids are germy enough on their own! I do have to say the people were extremely nice.

...we've been going to the Christmas Loft for years, even visiting the one location that used to be in Meredith NH. Such a great place to visit, the sounds, the sights, the smells. It's great that the music played is still the classics of yesteryear, the classics just add to the greatness of the Loft. One thing we'd say, that could be better.....the old style lights and less LED, can't beat the classic lights. Here's a photo of our daughter, she absolutely loves the Loft. 😁🙏💚❤️

It's not quite what I expected. The interior of the building looks rather worn, and while the small village isn’t too bad, the fixtures and ornaments appear quite old. Overall, the place could use some refinement.
