Les 3 Vallées is a renowned ski area consisting of three valleys with a total of 169 lifts, numerous lodges, and restaurants. Private ski lessons can be arranged through the ESF ski school. Accommodations in the area cater to various budgets and group sizes. The expansive ski area offers around 600km of diverse tracks with minimal wait times at the lifts. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views and excellent dining options, although prices may be on the higher side.
My favorite European skiing! After traveling to many different resorts across the alps, I think I can certainly say that the three valleys is the best of every world. It is certainly big enough to not get bored at even if you’re there for a week with tons of different areas of the mountain that you feel like you have to yourself. The views are also incredible! I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Slopes. Easy access to lifts and the town from the slopes. Honestly breathtaking views from the top, great for improvers, with a mixture of easy and harder slopes. Make sure you have Half board or a fat wallet for food.
Amaar V — Google review
It was my first time skiing after a few years and I’ve never had quite an experience like this one. If you are a first timer in this type of huge ski resorts you are going to feel amazed by both the size and the services they provide. I stayed there for a week and I would’ve stayed for a month. In my case VT. The offer really good connections between the three valleys and really different types of slope whether you’re a beginner or a pro. You’ll definitely have a nice time both during the day and at the apre ski.
Álvaro — Google review
It's very hard to criticise the 3 valleys ski area. It's huge, varied, quite stunning and very well run. At busy times the queues can get long, especially down in Meribel which is the middle of the the valleys. But the lift system copes pretty well, and of course nowhere else is immune to such issues. Well worth a visit at least once in your skiing career.
James G — Google review
A Skier’s Paradise Les 3 Vallées is simply phenomenal. With an extensive network of long, beautifully groomed slopes, it offers an unparalleled skiing experience. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you'll find runs that cater to every skill level, all while enjoying breathtaking alpine scenery. The infrastructure is top-notch, ensuring smooth connections between resorts and minimal waiting times. The snow conditions are excellent, and the variety of terrain keeps every day exciting. Honestly, only truly evil people could say anything bad about this ski resort. If you love skiing, Les 3 Vallées is a must-visit destination!
Milan K — Google review
The best large, linked-up, ski area in France. VT is high so it guarantees good snow throughout a extended ski season. Great bars, restaurants, and other facilities. Very family friendly resort for skiing and other activities. Been many times as a uni student and now a parent, will be back again for sure
Andrew M — Google review
The whole ski area is very good. The tracks were amazing and there was very little or no wait time on the ski lifts. There are a lot of different ski tracks around 600km to be exact. I skied for three days and in the three days I skied a total of 140km which is a lot. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes skiing. The view is amazing everywhere you go and you can find amazing restaurants anywhere. The prices are a bit overpriced everywhere, but I think its worth visiting atsleast one time. We stayed in Courchevel 1650. Which is on the far left side of the three valleys. But you can still easily reach the surrounding valleys.

Val Thorens is a ski resort located in Europe, established in 1971. It sits at the highest altitude and offers top-notch ski slopes, terrain parks and modern lifts. The town is considered as the hub of skiing in Europe, with a variety of ski runs that cater to different preferences. Visitors can choose their speed, turns and scenic view before hopping on one of the high-tech lifts available.
This ski resort had so much to enjoy from a skiing perspective and a general good time. There are lots of different runs, ski schools and places to eat on the beautiful mountains. I was unlucky enough to require medical assistance but even that didn’t disappoint, everyone was super great and very friendly.
Siobhan B — Google review
Amazing ski destination – whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it here! From easy, chill slopes to wild, uneven runs. The views of the surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning, and the snow conditions are excellent. I did miss having more trees around, as the landscape is very open and a bit desolate – though some people might actually prefer that. If you’re into partying, the town has some great spots – especially if you’re Danish! Just head to Café Snesko – you’re going to love it.
Thomas G — Google review
A very good ski resort. From beginners to advanced skiers, you can find good trails that will suit you. Also a very nice apres ski. Lots of hotels offers ski-in ski-out. Val thorens offers ski options when other ski resorts are already closed for the season.
Sigal S — Google review
Val Thorens has a great vibe, there are lots of amazing hotels and bars/restaurants. Shopping is easy with lots of convenience stores and also lots of specialist winter sports stores for all your skiing and snowboarding needs; though be prepared to pay a small (5-10% in my experience) resort premium on purchases here versus high street prices. Internet shopping is clearly the best option before arriving to make sure you get the best prices on equipment. Aside from the great bars and eateries, Val Thorens also has one or two slopes that you can ski and board on. Being a part of 3 Valleys it's a part of the largest ski resort in the world with hundreds of kilometers of groomed slopes. I love the ease of navigating around the resort using the many many lifts. There are runs for all levels, though if you're a complete beginner you may lack variety as there are relatively few green runs compared to other resorts. That being said, there are plenty of blues that are very manageable for beginners. Being at altitude I've found the snow quality and quantity to be better than other resorts in the area, including the 3 Valleys resorts of Courchevel and Meribel. Being lower they can often suffer with either slushy or icy conditions much more so that Val Thorens seems to. Final observation is that Val Thorens is an all ages resort. It doesn't matter if you're a family, young, old, or anywhere in between, Val Thorens has something for everyone, and all coexist peacefully.

The Perfect Destination for Skiing and Relaxation I recently visited this mountain, and I can confidently say it’s a paradise for ski and nature lovers! The area boasts an impressive number of ski slopes, suitable for all levels – from beginners to advanced skiers. The slopes are wide, well-maintained, and offer a safe skiing experience, making every moment on the mountain truly enjoyable. They are impeccably groomed daily, and the snow quality is excellent, no matter the weather. Beyond the slopes, the resort features cozy relaxation areas. The comfortable cabins, cafés with breathtaking views, and heated terraces provide the perfect spot to unwind between ski sessions. Whether you’re passionate about winter sports or just looking for a peaceful retreat in nature, this destination offers the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. I highly recommend it!

Val Thorens – Where the mountains are majestic and the buildings… aren’t Let’s be honest: Val Thorens is like dating someone with a stunning personality and a questionable wardrobe. The mountains? Absolutely breathtaking. Snow-draped peaks, endless ski runs, and views that make you forget your Wi-Fi password. Nature here is working overtime. And then… there’s the village. The buildings? Imagine 1970s concrete met a ski resort brochure and said, “Let’s do brutalism, but make it beige.” It’s like someone tried to stack shoeboxes in a snowstorm and called it urban planning. Charming? Not exactly. Functional? Sure. Photogenic? Only if you crop aggressively. But hey – you’re not here for the architecture. You’re here to ski, après-ski, and maybe pretend you’re in a Bond film while sipping overpriced vin chaud. And for that, Val Thorens delivers. Just don’t look too hard at the hotel façade on your way down the slope.
Steve M — Google review
Great skiing area. Really enjoyed it. Not pretty in the villages but well makes up for that with the slopes.
Michael D — Google review
Great great place to go skiing but, as I usually ski in Austria, no one told me it was illegal to take your own alcohol on the mountain. One day, there was even a full team of police at the bottom of one of the lifts even equipped with a K-9 unit. So beware, your alcohol will get emptied. The reason was explained a bit vaguely, but something to do with the lifts being classed as public transport and to take alcohol up was not allowed. It seemed more like a way to prevent people trying to save a bit at the extortionate Folie douce. The night life was super fun anyway and will definitely be going back.

Les Menuires is a sprawling and popular ski resort with over 60 trails, as well as restaurants, shops, and lodging. The area is also known for its lively atmosphere and hosts various events throughout the year, including the Les Menuires du Rire comedy festival. Additionally, nearby cities like Evian and Aix-les-Bains are renowned for their therapeutic thermal baths.
Les Menuires is good choice for a friends' ski trip. Part of the massive 3 Vallées, The place is affordable compared to fancier neighbors like Courchevel. It’s more functional than pretty, ski access is excellent, and the modern lifts keep queues short. Good-value group accommodations near the slopes make it a practical pick. Ideal for fun-focused groups wanting great skiing without the luxury price tag.

Nice friendly ski resort nestled within the 3 valleys in the Savoie region. There is a good variety of accommodation from St Martin de Belleville up through the villages and in Les Menuires, Les Breyeres within resort. There are a good variety of slopes, though the area is quite open and therefore prone to wind, but less so than Val Thorens above. There is an excellent variety of shops in la croisette with a small supermarket, ski and gift shops, delicatessen and a fab bakery. The area alone is enough for a beginner and early intermediate. Others can extend their pass to easily get to Val Thorens, Mottaret, Meribel and Courchevel areas in a day. We enjoy staying in the villages of Saint Marcel and Levassaix for the authentic atmosphere. My only negative is that the main run back is often very churned up and a real leg killer at the end of a day, so make sure you save some energy for this on returning to base!
Lara W — Google review
One of the most underrated stations of the "3 vallées" domain. Excellent access, excellent entertainment and shopping opportunities (covered as well as on ski front). Great access to slopes with a large domain even with a "Les Menuires only" ski pass. Also very active in summer.

A great variety of pistes to ski for all abilities. Fantastic access to all of the three valleys ski area, we needed longer here to cover the area it's so huge ! Good lifts with minimal waiting times even when it was busy. A great family friendly resort with fabulous views, skiing, restaurants and shops. We will definitely return !

Jan 2024. First time in "Les tois valees". We stayed in Les Menuires at Les Clarines hotel. Awesome resort. Had to buy own toilet paper which was a first but hey, it didn't put us off 🤣 It was ski in/ski out which quite literally means " for skiers"not for boarders.....but a short walk to the free lift which takes you up to a short walk to the main gondala and chair lifts. 3 bars at the bottom of the piste into LeasMenuires. Easy access to Val Thorens, Meribel & Corchevel. Some great restaurants in Les Menuires. The 3 valleys is immense with over 600 km of pistes. Will take a few years to venture down all of them. Already looking at booking for 2025!.....🤪👍
Jamstev0 — Google review
Skiing from Les Menuires is awesome. Great connections to the rest of the 3 valleys for some seriously big ski days. From Les Menuires I recommend morning on La Masse, then up Sunny for the pixel park and Becca, then the long run down to St Martins. Beautiful skiing to suit all abilities. My favourite place to ski.
James R — Google review
Good point of access to Val Thorens. Spoiled somewhat by some busy blue runs plagued by irresponsible skiers/boarders travelling at ridiculous speed through the novice skiers. It's only a matter of time before someone is killed or seriously injured here.

Nestled in the heart of the French Alps, the Musée de Saint-Martin-de-Belleville offers a captivating glimpse into the rich history and culture of mountain life up until the early 20th century. Guided by Raphael Coppi, visitors are immersed in stories that highlight how identity remains central to this community, even after its integration into the renowned 3 Vallées ski area in 1982.
(Translated by Google) Very well designed museum, on several levels, each showing an aspect of the transformation of the valley. From the traditional 'remues', to the development of the Val Thorens resort. Very interesting and educational. (Translated by Google) Museum rich in information where the signage and the direction of the visit are coherent and pleasant to follow. I also liked the drawings that looked like scanned watercolors. I took advantage of the superb guided tour led by Marina. His explanations were very interesting, his speech was fluid and the little anecdotes were very nice. Very good time full of discoveries. It was very interesting to discover the history of the village, more generally of the resort and sometimes even just history in general. That of our ancestors, the way of living, the dwelling, the work, a few words in patois and even an immersion in a dwelling which is none other than... the museum! Upstairs there are also films in the form of interviews with elders who talk about their lives and in particular the sudden but ultimately not so horrible change in their lives with the arrival of tourism. I highly recommend this museum, it's a shame there are so few people interested. PS: thanks to Marina for giving us another side of the mountain in high season.

Sports Centre Val Thorens is a top-notch fitness facility that offers an array of activities for guests to enjoy. Alongside an impressive gym with equipment for football, basketball, hockey, tennis and trampolining, visitors can also make use of two swimming pools and a range of saunas and jacuzzis (although some amenities are currently closed due to Covid restrictions). The spa is particularly noteworthy outside of pandemic times, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind after a workout with massages and facials.
Access to the wellness includes the main swimming pool which also has some water jets. Bring your own towels and shampoo. 3 saunas differing in temperature and one good hammam. One of the saunas was closed. Plenty of space to rest on reclining chairs. Also two medium sized pools with jacuzzi to relax, plus a cold water bath. Modern and clean, no issues really.

Hey!! Do not pay for the worst sport Center I’ve ever visited , 120€ for 6 days. The place doesn’t maintained at all. There is no internet connection inside the centre , and they don’t have WiFi. The changing rooms are dirty and smelling like sewerage , and the water from the pool sinking the hallways. They don’t have jacuzzi (hot tub) and only warm- pools. With all the super expensive price, they want me to pay for using the ping pong tables!!!! Do your self a favour and choose another place, or don’t visit at all.

This is the perfect place to recover after a hard day of snowboarding. The staff were all pleasant and able to communicate in English perfectly. We used the wellness centre which had all the facilities as listed. Everything was clean, working, and had instructions clearly marked in English and French. The lockers are free and the wristband system means you can use them without coins or keys. Considering we are up in the alps and the other wellness centres are in 5 star hotels at premium prices, I think this facility is definitely worth it for just under 25 euros.

The place is awesome after the massive renovations! Great view from the main pool windows and the wellness center is really special. It looks like they got a great deal for the gray tiles as the entire place is covered with the same exact tile, no exciting designs…
Eli S — Google review
Good wet and dry sounas. The hot tubs are barely warm, some would say cold. Other than that, there isn't anything else in the wellness section which costs 22 euros per person (bottom point, all you get is saunas and a pool)
Tal Z — Google review
The saunas are great and spacious enough to accommodate guests comfortably, as is the steam room. However, there’s only one cold plunge barrel that fits about four people, which feels limited given the number of saunas. The relaxation areas are nice, but they can get quite chilly, and the hot tubs weren’t as warm as expected. The pool was even colder, but overall, it’s a good place to unwind after a day on the slopes. Just be mindful of peak times, as it can get quite busy.

I absolutely cannot recommend the board because of the incompetent employees at the entrance at the cash register. It is unbelievable how inflexible and incompetent these women are. A young top athlete, 15 years and 8 months old and 192 cm tall, was turned away and not allowed to train because he was under 16. Training is incredibly important to him. The inflexible women blamed the rules, even though the parents were also present and would have assumed all liability. Typically French - no hospitality evident. A real shame and disappointing. It would be better if the ladies would pick up a mop to make the changing rooms a bit cleaner. But removing dirt is probably not part of the rules.

Fitness recently got a makeover and it shows. Really nice equipment and good facilities for changing. Went here 3 times during a week. Not too expensive for a day pass. A lot of different options for other sports too. Everything fitness is from nice quality, mostly technogym. Some space for cardio, one for machines (cable), one for plate loaded exercises. Only missed a few things: Water tap closeby, couldnt find one apart from the one in the changing room. Had to walk back through some gates, so didnt dare to refill my bottle) No mirrors anywhere. I like external feedback from an exercise. Would make the weight room look bigger. Had some nice sessions, would recommend.

The indoor swimming pool and sports center at Les Ménuires offers a range of amenities for visitors to enjoy. The facility consists of a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, squash courts, and a trampoline room. The pool is 25 meters in length and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The wellness area is clean and well-maintained, although it may be more crowded during lunchtime. While there are no drinks available for purchase, the overall experience is still worth it.
As my second Winter Season in Les Menuires I have to say that this year was by far the Best. The Staff was Amazing, Friendly and very Professional, especially Laura and Stand! I hope next winter will be the same staff again (but maybe with an upgrade to the gym equipment 😆)!

Jakuzzi is cold and every part of the floor is unhygienic. For that high price I DO NOT recommend
Lost L — Google review
If you’re looking for peace and relaxation, this might not be the right spa for you. The pool is essentially a large toddler wading pool, and the place is overcrowded to the point where you have to queue for the jacuzzis. Every lounge chair is “reserved” with a towel, yet no one actually uses them. On top of that, it’s quite noisy. There are children everywhere, and despite the signs asking for silence, many adults ignore them and chat loudly. The staff doesn’t intervene, which makes it difficult to fully relax. That said, if you set your expectations low, it’s an okay spa. The sauna experience is decent, and it’s a relief that there are three different saunas to accommodate the crowds. But if you’re hoping for a quiet and peaceful escape, look elsewhere.

I'm only commenting on pool&spa. It was a pleasant experience: the place looks quite recent, is very clean and proper to go. Pool is 25m and gives stunning view on the mountains. Wellness area is not huge, so best to go during lunch time, but it's also fresh and good. I missed having some drinks to relax more, but otherwise worth going. Best to take your own towels: renting them is quite pricey!
Єлизавета В — Google review
Place is decent with good amenities for the pricing, but the people aren’t very educated when it comes to lane swimming (there are no rules) and when leaving the changing room, after a shower you have to enter the same dirty puddle of ugly unchanged water.
Stefan G — Google review
The swimming and spa experience is fine (4/5) for what you can expect. HOWEVER the personel is very unwilling to assist you in anything and they can't be reasoned with. The baggage drop wasn't what you'd expect. You have to pay €3 per bag but if you pay for them as a group you can only retrieve them all at once and not per bag. They get mad at you if yoh stay a few minutes while waiting for you bus. Can't have anything nice in France.

great spot for the little ones to burn off some extra energy when they've had enough skiiing. Fantastic soft play area and trampolines, close to the attractions of Les Menuires, €10 per head (babies are free). Great afternoon

Really good place to spend the day if there is bad weather. The squash courts are in pretty good condition. Swimming pool is ok but a bit small. there are a couple of sauna's and a steam room (hammam) which are good. The gym is well equipped but sometimes v busy. you can rent swimming costumes towels racquets shoes etc if you forgot them!

Furthermore, a very pleasant room, satisfactory projection, pleasant atmosphere and professional ticketing.
