Neighborhoods
Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepcion are bohemian neighborhoods in Valparaiso, Chile, offering a relaxed atmosphere for daytime strolls and unforgettable sunsets. The area is filled with lively cafes, public squares, and historic cobbled streets that blend timeless charms with contemporary creativity.
I had a wonderful time exploring Cerro Alegre in Valparaíso. This vibrant hillside neighborhood is known for its colorful street art, charming architecture, and winding alleyways. The mix of murals and old buildings gives it a unique character, reflecting Valparaíso's artistic and bohemian spirit. Historically, the area became popular in the late 19th century as European immigrants settled here, shaping its eclectic style. Tours usually bring people here but you can just stroll around yourselves. Also one of the safer areas in town.

This beautiful hill located in Valparaiso offers unique architecture that isn't typically seen in other cities around the world, and offers incredible street art that can be seen while walking through most streets, hidden alleys and winding staircases. A must-see for anyone visiting Chile.

We ordered tuna and beef steak. The tuna was excellent. Respect to the chef because the beef steak was prepared according to art but the quality of the meat was good for a goulash. The wine was wonderful.

Valparaíso, a coastal port city in Chile, is renowned for its steep funiculars and vibrant clifftop houses. Historical landmark
Plaza Sotomayor is a bustling square in Valparaiso, flanked by the Chilean navy headquarters and a central memorial honoring naval heroes. The surrounding area includes the commercial quarter with its port works, warehouses, banks, and shopping center. Adjacent to the bay are administrative buildings grouped around the plaza. The lower part of the city also features the cathedral, parks, boulevards, theaters, cafes, and colonial buildings like the church of La Matriz.
Plaza Sotomayor is a nice place to walk around, see the monument, and enjoy the old buildings nearby. Everything is close, the port, the pier, and some good cafés where you can relax and have a coffee. It can get a bit crowded, so keep an eye on your things. Overall, a nice and interesting spot to visit in the city.

Busy square surrounded by some interesting, historic buildings. Popular place to meet for guided walks. Beware, keep safe, being local advice.

Plaza Santa Maya is a must-visit walk through spot in Valparaíso! It’s beautifully nestled among some important historical buildings and sits right at the base of a couple of the city’s iconic cable cars. From here, you can walk along the waterfront, hop on a boat, or just take in the view. When I visited on a Saturday, there was a charming little craft fair happening, adding even more color and life to the plaza. It’s picturesque, full of character, and a perfect place to snap some great photos. Definitely a gemstone of Valparaíso. Follow me on TikTok for more travel finds! Sage0.x

The city center.. beautiful old colonial building around the plaza. Use the funicular ride to go up the hill. Nice area to explore. Mall are around the plaza, with foodcourt and toilet. Its quite crowded on the afternoon and a nice place to hang around.
Reyner G — Google review
Plaza Sotomayor is the main square of Valparaíso and a great starting point to explore the city. It’s home to the impressive blue Naval Headquarters building and the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique, which honors Chilean sailors. Surrounded by historic architecture and close to the port, the plaza combines history, culture, and daily local life. A must-see landmark before taking the funiculars up to the colorful hills.
Vakhtang J — Google review
Was ok but no where to park and the plaza is not like the typical plazas we’ve visited where you can grab a bench and relax. It was in the middle of two busy, busy streets.
Kevin F — Google review
When the artisanal market "Victoria Porteña" is there you can see some of the best local art made by porteños themselves such as fine stone jewellery, silk-screen printing, wood-cut printing, wooden puzzles, knitted clothing among others. You can also get great food in the local restaurants around the plaza and visit Muelle Prat for a boat ride. Recently, works have been announced for this place by the city so it could be closed in the near future

La Sebastiana, located in Valparaiso, is a house with a rich history. Originally built for Sebastian Callao and later finished by the renowned poet Pablo Neruda, it became one of three homes owned by him. This red and blue house was declared a National Monument in 2011 and now operates as a museum showcasing Neruda's world through various collectibles.
La Sebastiana de Valparaíso, what an experience, a whole Universe inside, a legacy for Valparaíso and for all Chile ! As an architect, I admit I had no expectations regarding the visit of Pablo Neruda's house. Despite the fact that so reviews here for this amazing landmark of Valparaíso are moderate, I will share my impressions after an impressive immersion into an intimate universe of Pablo Neruda's life. A balance between the architecture of Gaudi's residencial's work is suitable for everyone. The house itself is talking about daily routine of Neruda, as well as an entire atmosphere of his circle of friends, jokes, moments of joy and happiness around the table or near the chimney in living room. Colours and textures, windows and doors, floors and ceilings, ceramics and furniture, everything is made with love for life! If is worth the effort to get here for a visit? Every minute of it! You will be be highly rewarded with great feelings and sensations, of course, if you are that kind of traditional traveler, with respect for the past and for the mankind heritage!

Cerro Concepcion, a historic hill in Valparaiso, boasts the iconic Ascensor Concepcion funicular dating back to 1883. This popular attraction climbs 69 meters at a 45-degree gradient from Carreno to Paseo Gervasoni. The area is home to Museo El Mirador de Lukas and two significant churches: Iglesia Anglicana San Pablo and Iglesia Luterana.
Absolutely fantastic neighborhood where every single twist and turn leads to absolutely amazing scenery. From the beautiful and meticulously painted start art to the painted fronts of residential buildings and the lovely shops scattered throughout the area. This place is a must see in the port city. All located within the historic quarter and designated as a UNESCO world heritage site which ensures this place remains beautiful for many years to come.

One of the most beautiful places in Chile! I found this place on a Google search as I was looking for a day trip from Santiago. It's about 2 hrs away but a pretty drive in the fall. The town is built on a hill and is a major port of the country. The old buildings are so colorful and pretty! There are lots of good seafood restaurants in the area. Very nice area to walk around. The roads are narrow and tough for cars. Some good viewpoints of the ocean and city as well. Need to come back to explore more!!
Jason F — Google review
This hill is one of the most touristy parts of Valpo so you definitely should check it out, but you can skip the restaurants up there because you're paying for prime real estate instead of the food. It's certainly very colorful and you have to walk through it if you are on a walking tour.

Walk this Neighbourhood. Valparaíso is not a beautiful city, but a rather badly maintained mix of architecture, while having the typical chaos and rowdiness of a traditional port city. Nevertheless the Cerro Concepción thrives in this, allowing the liberty of art and alternative lifestyles to express themselves here. Most houses are covered in graffiti art (or not so art), making for a pleasant walk along its narrow streets and many photo opportunities.
Pedro P — Google review
Nice hill, plenty of little restaurants, there are some public terraces with bay view and lot of streets that go around rustic places. This is a very old city with history all around.

Ascensor Concepcion, the oldest funicular in Valparaiso dating back to 1883, is a popular tourist attraction as well as a convenient mode of transport for locals. The rickety yet thrilling ride swiftly takes passengers up the steep hillside to Paseo Gervasoni, offering stunning views of the city and port. Visitors can also opt for a ride on Ascensor Reina Victoria, built in 1902.
For only CLP $300 (USD $0.30), save your legs and ride the Ascensor. Easy ride up to Cerro Concepcion.

Ascensor Reina Victoria, also known as Queen Victoria Funicular, is an iconic hillside transportation system in Valparaiso. Dating back to 1902, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Connecting Elias Street to Paseo Dimalow, this funicular provides a quick and affordable way to ascend the steep hillside. At the top, visitors can find various restaurants and cafes where they can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Its route is noteworthy, and the experience of ascending through lush landscapes is truly enjoyable. If you're looking for a unique and authentic experience, the Reina Victoria funicular is definitely worth a visit.

Ascensor Reina Victoria is a super fun little funicular railway in the heart of Valparaíso, Chile! It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re in this city as it’s a fun experience and provides great views. It is extremely old (built in 1902) but it still runs great. The area has a playground for children, seats, and streetlights, and it’s quite inexpensive to ride the funicular. It’s also in a great walking area for you to explore all the shops, restaurants, and street art! Definitely put this on your list of saved places!

An interesting place to visit as tourist because of the view at dusk. Has criative and interesting graffiti around the top of Reina Victoria. Also has a slide (funny). If you are in Valparaiso go up one of its ascensores or elevators/ lifts. We have taken both the Ascensor Artilleria and this one. The cost is 100 pesos each way. At the top of El Peral visit the Palacio Baburizza a good museum- see my review for photos. At the top of Artilleria, the great Naval Museum and a row of souvenir shops along the Paseo 21 de mayo - I also have a review. There are places to eat or buy fast food or candy at the top of both ascensores. Photos below are for both. I set 4 photos from Artilleria, set a sunset photo from our apartment to separate, and 3 from El Peral.

Step into Bar Cinzano and be transported back to the vibrant Valparaiso of the 1920s. Despite its age, this bar remains a top choice for both locals and tourists, thanks to its fantastic cocktails and lively atmosphere. Live music on weekends adds to the infectious energy of the place. Located in Plaza Anibal Pinto, it has been a favorite haunt for generations, offering nostalgic vibes and Creole food.
If you're in Valparaíso and looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a great drink, Bar Cerveza is a must-visit! This charming bar has a fantastic selection of craft cocktails and wines, both local and international, and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to recommend something new. The ambiance is laid-back and welcoming, with a mix of locals and travelers enjoying the lively yet relaxed atmosphere. By lively, i mean lively. We were there on a friday afternoon when a performer came on stage, started singing before busting into tap dancing. Not just on the stage, and the floor, but on the bar and benches as well. Whether you're a connoisseur or just looking to unwind, grab a sangria, and enjoy. Bar Cerveza delivers an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

While this is a definite local hangout with a unique vibe and lots of various cocktails and beers, we were recommended to go there for the food by our guide. Unfortunately, when we went the food was awful. My wife had steak, which was poor quality and overcooked. I ordered pork ribs, which was not what I got but I’ll chock that up to “lost in translation”. But the pork was also poor quality and had little flavor. Go for a cocktail and local flare but do not eat there.
Osceola84 — Google review
TERRIBLE, 5 different waiters could’t get an order right. They had no food left apart from fries by 8. Don’t come here. Just go eat somewhere else, and if you come maybe order a beer at the bar, that should be easy to get it right!

The drinks a pretty good here. The food is okay, the night I went, they didn’t have most items on the menu. There also was a show the night I went, which made it a little bit harder to get a server, but I understand. Overall, this is definitely a place locals go to grab a drink and hang out.

The service was great as they were all very friendly and helpful. Great drinks and delicious Chilean food. The live music (a man singing to playback) that started at 9 pm was quite entertaining. All in all, it's a very cozy and local place where we spent a very nice evening.

Museo a Cielo Abierto, located in the artsy street of Cerro Bellavista in Valparaiso, is an open-air museum featuring a labyrinth-like collection of outdoor murals painted by various Latin American artists in the 1990s. The colorful array of street art and inspiring murals breathes life into the hills of Valparaiso.
super nice little area, definitely keep walking even if you think it might be over, there’s always more cool murals to see

Super cool street art in a residential part of Valparaiso. We loved the vibrant works which genuinely transforms the city’s streets into canvas. Highly recommended for art enthusiasts as some of these could be exhibited anywhere in the world. We visited late afternoon for great photos.

There are still some nice murals to see but the whole place feels kinda abandoned by artists and visitors now. A big let down was that the Funicular was running and didn't look like it was going to be running anytime soon. From the plaza Victoria you have to walk up stairs. Hopefully in the near future there can be more investments in the area to make it a nice place again.

the region is pretty nice and you get good views going up/down the hills but the museum itself is very lame and there’s nothing to see honestly. wouldn’t recommend/come back

Similar to Graffiti museum in Toronto. Houses in a hill painted with graffiti of different styles (from political to crazy graffiti). Didn't know it was the hole neighborhood, so we just walked 2 or 3 streets. Also has a really beautiful view of the sea.

Looks abandoned and somewhat scary to walk through even during the day. Skip this and walk around Cerre Concepcion for murals instead.

Great collection of street art along the stairs and on the street in the hills of Valparaiso. It was pretty hot and we didn't see a lot of tourists around, so we couldn't always tell if we were in the right place, but the art itself was excellent. I came here on my birthday with my family, who is visiting my wife and I on our long trip through South America.

Alt though the street art was pretty, the area was very dodgy. Not a lot of people an no police or security…We got robbed and threatened with a knife..
Johan H — Google review
Valparaíso City was disappointing during my visit. The streets felt unsafe, especially at night, with little police presence. Cleanliness is a major issue—there's trash in many areas, and some parts smell bad. The city’s infrastructure looks run-down with poor sidewalks and broken roads, making it hard to walk around comfortably. While the colorful buildings and murals are beautiful, they’re overshadowed by the city’s neglect. It has potential, but it needs a lot of improvement to feel welcoming.

The organization of the casino was just ok. The initial entry to the amphitheater was too slow. We all waited for about 1/2 hour before door opened. They should start seating earlier. The place was so hot that the fans turned on mid performance. They were loud and we could not hear. Luckily the complaints made them turn the fans off.

Local friends did recommend it as a top restaurant in the Valparaiso area. We enjoyed one appetizer; one ceviche was excellent but found the other tuna tartar salty. Mains were both different "pasteles", one jaiba and other mix salmon, and shrimp quite nice. Menu is changing as we were told. Reserve if you would like a table at the terrace/balcony. The service was excellent, prices are on the high side.

Interesting maritime museum that provided me with more information about Chile. The price is 4,000 pesos for foreigners. There is much information about the formation of Chile as an independent country, the military, and the famous wars with Peru, the Spanish Empire, and Bolivia, as well as the golden age of the city of Valparaíso. It’s a must-see while you’re in Valparaiso.

Baburizza Palace, a stunning mansion from the early 1900s, is a must-see in Valparaiso. Named after Croatian businessman Pascal Baburizza, this opulent building boasts eclectic art-nouveau architecture with beautiful woodwork, balconies, and small turrets. Once home to prominent figures like Ottorino Zanelli and Pascual Baburizza, the palace now houses the Museum of Fine Arts.
A fascinating place. Palacio Baburizza gives a great glimpse into how a Chilean oligarch lived in the early 20th century, with elegance, taste, and attention to every detail. The mansion is beautifully preserved, with impressive interiors, furniture, and artwork. You can really feel the atmosphere of that era. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Chile’s history and culture.

Worth the cheap entry fee. Not my fave art but it a beautiful space and interior and one of the docents, Matilde? Miranda? is LOVELY. We had a wonderful conversation as I wandered the spacious museum. I went soon after it opened about 10:30am but would recommend going later as the AM fog obliterates any views from the palace and windows. The fog lifts early afternoon. English explanation at the entry but not thought out. Very nice on-site café as well with good empanadas and carrot cake cookies! Friendly staff and I was happy I could charge my phone.

Superb art museum located in an early 20th century art nouveau styled mansion. The home is beautiful and the quality of the paintings is astounding. The collection originates mostly from Europe, but has plenty of Chilean works as well. Nice cafe and clean bathroom, too. This is a must see visit in Valparaiso.

Amazing art museum and the palacio itself! Beautiful works, well kept. Much better than national art museum in Santiago! Take it slow and wander around to explore all the nooks. Permanent exhibition is large and is only 3000 pesos, and the temporary exhibition in the basement is free.

Free entry on Sunday. The Museum is in a historic mansion and is adjacent to Mirador Paseo Yugoslavo and is easily reached via the Ascensor El Persal. There are street performers and the area is designated a local artisans market area. The art in the museum is focused on native Chilean artists and has many works that reflect the early years of Valparaiso.
Ross M — Google review
Very beautiful art gallery, prices are fair. I think it's a about 4000 Pesos for foreigners and less than 1000 for locals. The oil paintings where astonishing and varied in size. I marveled for over one hour in incredulity. There's also many explanations in Spanish. The gallery features some European artists as well as many Chilean ones. The bathroom could be cleaner and the locks on the doors repaired. I had to hold the door shut while doing my business. Also the tours with a large group of people were a little annoying as you could sometimes not enter a room because it was thus crowded. I therefore suggest minimizing the size of the group. However, definitely worth a visit if you're in Valparaíso.

Officially, the museum was open at 2.10pm, but the staff obviously didn't feel like working and simply didn't let people in, claiming it wouldn't open until 3pm. Everyone should therefore think twice about going there. But it seems typical for Chile...

My wife ordered the Pulpo Grillado. It was difficult to cut with a knife and more difficult to chew. Very disappointing. I ordered the baby lomo. It had good flavor but was over cooked. The papas fritas were the best part of the meal. My wife asked for a gin tonic with pepino (cucumber). It came with fruits. My cerveza was excellent. The server was very friendly and helpful, but the service was exceptionally slow. The pulpo was not eaten but we still paid for it. They did offer to exchange for something else, but given the food we already had, it seemed pointless to try something else. They need to make some improvements here, so until then I don’t recommend.

Celebrated my birthday at Casalegre. We didn’t have a prior booking but managed to get a table quickly. There was a musician singing and playing guitar which added to the ambience very nicely. The staff were very attentive and professional and when they found out it was my birthday they surprised me with a serenade from the musician! The food was really fresh and each dish had a distinct flavour. The salmon was delicate and zesty, the beef salad was fresh and was everything you’d want from a salad and the octopus was tender with an explosion of flavours from the thinly sliced peppers, tomato and red onion. I recommend getting the ceviche, as it's very filling and wonderful on a hot summer day. I'm docking points because we were waiting for 45 minutes after we finished eating for the check and ended up missing some performances in town. Visitors can take boat tours from the pier to see the city's colorful hillside constructions and historic buildings.
Muelle Prat is a very busy waterfront which has souvenirs, fishing, private and group tours of the bay on boat, and the aquarium. There is a sign painted that shows the prices for a group tour and a private tour. It was 5000 pesos/person when I went in June 2025. Best to go when there is a crowd to be able to get on a group tour.

A piece of history, still untouched! A totally must do! Learn a bit about Chilean history and one of it's most important heroes. On the port you can go around the bay in one of the of the passenger boats and take amazing pics of the bay and the cargo ship. Several souvenir shops with a variety of items for you to take to family and friends. "El bote Salvavidas" great restaurant with a great variety of Chilean and International dishes at water's edge with a truly amazing view of the port. On same aerea you can also find the newest addition to this picturesque site "Valparaiso Aquarium" although small still gives a good idea of the fish and shellfish of Valparaiso and Chilean ocean habitat. Very affordable entrance fee and each small group with their own Aquarium tourguide ( with heavy Venezuelan accent , obvious reflection of the changes of times and how diverse Chile has become regarding it's ethnicity)

This is a spot that it’s a must, you will see the real movement in a big port and the typical chilean port attitude “la picardia porteña” in Valparaiso. Take a boat ride per 30 minutes to be near to the big ships and buy handicrafts here. But be careful about thieves in this zone.

Resto Bar Mi Casa is a cozy spot favored by locals for its good food at reasonable prices. The empanadas are particularly popular, especially when paired with the complimentary garlic sauce. The service is quick and efficient, making it a recommended choice for those seeking a satisfying meal in a laid-back atmosphere.
The complimentary garlic sauce for the empanadas is great! Had empanadas and wine and both were very good!

The Ascensor Cordillera is a popular tourist attraction that was built in the late 19th century to traverse the hilly landscape. Originally, there were 26 funicular railways, but now only eight are operational due to their age and require frequent maintenance or renovations. Despite its aging condition, it remains a functioning and affordable means of transportation, costing just a few hundred pesos for a ride to or from the hilltops. Each trip can accommodate up to ten passengers at a time.

Be very wary of the restaurants on the 2nd floor. The food is okay but they will make you feel really uncomfortable and pressure you into their restaurants and try to make you order something expensive, especially if you look like a tourist and speak limited Spanish.

There are some good restaurants here with delisious traditional dishes, but are hidden on the first floor, the groundfloor is amarket. You must go with a local to find the good ones, otherwise if u don't know which is the good restaurant you can get stomach sick

It is a good market with a variety of vegetables and fruits. Also a big display of groceries and things for the daily use in your home. The reason I gave 4 stars was because they don't let you choose your products (fruits and vegetables), and if you confronted them about it, they react very violently. We are the customers, hence we have the right to choose our own products.

Great views out over the port and surrounding area. Unfortunately it has become quite rundown. It's probably best to go on a public holiday because all the little stalls along the walkway were closed. There is some nice artwork on the way to the Paseo. The Naval Marine museum dominates the top of the hill with nicely maintained lawns. There are still a few nice little cafes open most days.

We did two tours with this company and honestly, we thought it was an amazing way to discover the city. The guides were super engaging and had so much to share. The first tour we did was the Valparaiso highlights. That one was our favorite because it focused a lot on street art and muralism. Our guide, Camilo, was really passionate about art and gave us tons of insight. So yeah, that tour was awesome. We liked it so much that we signed up for the Offbeat tour the next day, which takes you to spots where tourists don’t usually go. That was super interesting too. We had Camilo and Felipe together for that one, and both of them were fantastic. Camilo’s real gift is the way he talks about history and politics — and somehow makes it fascinating. For three hours straight, we were totally hooked. So yeah, both tours were amazing. We absolutely recommend them.

Embarking on the Valparaiso walking tour led by the charismatic guide, Camilo, was a delight. His extensive knowledge spanned local idiosyncrasies, historical narratives, and iconic landmarks. The tour, spanning over 3 immersive hours, is tip-based, and believe me, a generous tip is well worth it. Conducted in flawless English, the experience offered countless photo ops, especially during the invigorating hike up Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepcion. Not only did I gain insights, but also companions – fellow travelers and even adorable local dogs that tagged along. Arriving in Valparaiso? This tour is a must, serving up a treasure trove of advice to further explore this vibrant city.

I'm so glad we explored Valparaíso with Camilo and Felipe from Tours 4 Tips. They provided local insight and perspective on history, art, politics and culture as we wandered the streets on the highlights tour. It made me want to explore the big city more! My wife and I recently joined the 1pm tour with Camilo. There was another family of 3 with us so it made for a very small group, which is typical during these winter months. This tour was awesome and it can be attributed to our tour guide. He's been doing this for many years and it never felt like he was just going through the motions - Camilo was enthusiastic, passionate and very knowledgeable about the city and of Chile's history. He answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions for other things to do, see and eat and provided pointers for keeping safe. We took several free walking tours during our three weeks in Chile and Peru and this one was our favorite. Highly recommended!

This 5-hour excursion takes you to two vineyards where you'll indulge in a delightful wine tasting experience, sampling a total of 7 wines. The tour includes a visit to Emiliana Winery, known for its organic wines, and an opportunity to savor their exquisite selection of whites and reds.
Our group of six had a most wonderful Casablanca wine tour today, March 24, 2024. Sebastian, our guide, was prompt in picking us up, was knowledgeable of the area, the wineries, the history and was just a pleasure to work with in putting together our customized full day tour. We highly recommend!

My mum and I booked (last min - only the day before) on The Casablanca Valley Wine Bus and thoroughly enjoyed it. Al was our driver, and as a trained sommelier his expert knowledge on the journey between vineyards was impressive and engaging. We went to three lovely vineyards, each of different scales and ethics. We loved the flexibility to do whatever we wanted, on our own, at the vineyard, e.g. buy wine by the glass, have a tour, do a tasting and pairing etc. Al was always on hand if we needed him but also gave us space to enjoy the beautiful venues on our own. This was perfect for us! I highly recommend it.

I did a Breeze Tour one lovely Saturday afternoon in early December 2023. I was picked up from my accommodation in Valparaiso, and traveled by car to two wonderful vineyards in Casablanca Valley for a most enjoyable afternoon of wine tasting, together with two other travellers. We visited Emiliana Winery (organic winery) and tasted 2 whites (a sauvignion blanc and a chardonnay) and 2 reds (one which was their speciality with a mix of 8(!!!!) grapes which was absolutely delicious). We were also treated to try a rosé that was not originally a part of the tasting. This winery is a nestled in most amazing and relaxed location. An oasis in a valley surrounded by hills. A beautiful vineyard, that also has alpacas!! We then continued to Bodega RE, a winery that specialises in mixing their own combinations. Among other wines, we were treated to try one of their specialties from 2014!! - a very nice red wine that grew in flavour the more one waited. Sebastian, our tour guide, was super friendly and informative about the region, and a most excellent guide. I highly recommend doing a wine tour with Valparaiso Wine tours!!!!! Hot tip: as there is no real time to also order food on the Breeze tour I suggest to bring some snacks, or a sandwich with you to eat between vineyards!! Or do the Understanding Tour that includes dinner.

We had an amazing day with Al, our guide. He’s not only a sommelier, but also speaks excellent English and has deep knowledge of both Chilean wines and the country’s history. He shared so much about Chilean culture as well, and was truly a pleasure to listen to. We really enjoyed the three vineyards we visited – each one offered something unique. Personally, I wasn’t feeling well that day and probably should’ve stayed at the hotel. But even with that, Al went above and beyond. He took great care of me and even brought me to a pharmacy to find something that could help. Honestly, the service was exceptional on every level. Highly recommend this experience!

We took the Casablanca Breeze tour with Al and enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up doing the Empanadas cooking class with Seba later that evening. Al and Seba were very very good guides and had a lot of knowledge to share about Chilean wine and cuisine. Would recommend to everyone!

I booked the wine bus and it exceeded my expectations! Sebastian was more than just driver and tour coordinator but also told us a lot about the Casablanca valley and the history of the wineries. All three wineries were beautifully located and offered interesting tastings and tours. It was good to be able to choose at each winery if we wanted a glass, a tasting, a tour or even lunch. The people giving the tours and tastings were really nice and knowledgeable and adapted the tastings to what we were most interested in. Would definitely recommend!
Natalie R — Google review
Booked last minute and were lucky enough to piggyback on the tour of four wonderful friends celebrating their annual trip. Sebastián made booking simple and easy to pay. Pickup time was on the dot. Selection of vineyards was eclectic and though our last minute booking was for just two stops, these were easily the most interesting and delicious options. Sebastián was an amazing host who went into great detail about Valparaiso as well as Chile, and obviously wine. He was patient with the groups desire to chat a bit longer and let the winery staff take the reins to best explain the product. Would recommend!
