One of my favorite restaurants in Berne! Delicious food and the buffet style food makes it very suitable for getting a quick bite. I love the interior and the staff is very friendly. There is always a great variety of food options and everything is vegan.

Nice family brunch. For 49 you get whatever you want + 1 cold and 1 hot drink. Not a big choice for picky eater kids, but still managed to find something.

But it's also a great spot if you're a meat lover and just up for a centrally located drink or dessert while in the city. Please note that there's no table service and that things can be slightly pricey, including some expectations (for better or worse) to round up your tip when ordering / paying at the counter. Also, be sure to be considerate of others, especially when using your laptop, as the place can get crowded quickly (the staff may also kindly remind you ;-). Otherwise, it's a fancy and conveniently located establishment that offers good-quality dishes and drinks.

The restaurant is great to enjoy a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian buffets. The selection changes every day and you can enjoy a variety of cuisine there. I take a little bit of almost everything and weigh the plate to pay. The prices are in line with the Swiss standard. Also, you get a free bread / buns to the buffet 😃

Being a vegetarian since the 70's, this place is a total enjoyment. I love this restaurant since the first time I stepped into it. The price is very good in relation to the quality. My best girlfriend and I come everytime we have the opportunity. We love the buffet modality because we can chose whatever we like in the perfect amount for us. With the pandemic we had to make a pause, it's been a loooooong wait, but now we are coming again keeping all the security messures. The different areas gives you the option of choosing also where to sit, whether it is in the main floor, upstairs, or outside. They keep growing and offering more services all the time. Forty years ago, a place like this was my dream, today is real. I just love 💘 it!!!

My wife loves the food here. Choose froM a variety of vegetarian dishes: cheese, falafel, potatoes, gebratener Rosenkohl or spinach. Enjoyed the dessert buffet. Location just next to the central station. On two floors. Service above average i.e. super friendly and effective.

Everybody has a bad day. Probably the waitress with the long black open hair had it too. I just wanted to drink quick coffee and went inside to ask if i can get coffee while i was waiting for a friend . The way she talked to me, her voice tone was not that polite. But its okay.

We wanted to celebrate our last day in Switzerland with a traditional speciality and our guide recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed, lovely decor, pleasant service, delicious wine and most incredible cheese fondue really made our day. Expensive, for CHF 37 per person, our 3 person pot was large and it came with side dishes of pears, pickles, boiled potatoes, marinaded onion and nice crusty bread. We even got to scrape off and taste the Old Mother. Definitely worth the visit.

Full of locals enjoying a quick lunch of traditional fare, Harmonie is always my first stop when visiting the altstadt of Bern. It might be for a classic fondue with a mâche salad (nüsslisalat in Swiss German) or excellent rösti with speck and spiegelei (fried egg). The Bernese have been eating in this casual wood-panelled dining room for over 100 years and I was delighted to see on my last visit that everything is still the same since the recent change of ownership. Harmonie is the perfect lunch spot when site seeing in Bern as it has all the Swiss classics, including some very calorie-laden desserts. The daily menu is good value, service is efficient (if occasionally rushed during 'peak hour'), and the wine list is great too.

Made to Feel Completely Unwelcome What a frustrating experience. As a family traveling with a child and an elderly parent, we called ahead to ensure we could be seated for an early dinner. Upon arriving, we were immediately turned away. It was only after I challenged the waitress by saying I had just called that she corrected herself, inventing an excuse about a very long wait time. It felt less like a genuine problem and more like she simply didn't want to serve us. It's a shame, because the place looked charming. We left and went elsewhere. Two stars for the poor, unwelcoming service.

Chic Swiss restaurant in the heart of Bern.. we sat outdoors and the atmosphere was lively but not noisy nor overwhelming but pleasant .. our server was friendly and smiley .. service was at a good tempo, not too hurried.. we enjoyed the fondue and thought it was a very nice Swiss treat with a glass of wine … as with most places in Switzerland, prices are very high at over £100 ! Yet, we expected this and just looked the other way !

The food and Service was fantastic. The waiter was really friendly and patient and honestly the food was exactly what you paid for. The food is delicious and rightly portioned according to the price thereof. One point or suggestion I would raise is the tables. The table we were seated at was not as fitting for that calibre of restaurant it is. But apart from that everything was really great.

Pretty terrible if I'm honest. We had the spring rolls, satay, tempura shrimp, the fried Tofu and the Chiang Mai Surprise, and well, dear me, let's just say it's not that authentic. Deeply lacking in flavour, very oily, terrible tempura batter, dried out chicken, and meh spring rolls, ace for the same price as a much nicer meal we had at a much nicer restaurant at lunchtime. Service was very attentive and polite, but the food and prices, jeeez, total fail. The only thing that was relatively nice was the tempura, but the first batch has soggy batter and the second batch was completely over cooked with bullet hard prawns.

The staff as incredibly rude and noticeably annoyed by the guests. We arrived two hours before they closed and the already didn’t wanted to give us a table anymore. We had to wait around 40 min until the came to take our order and the restaurant was almost empty. We received the wrong food and it was sadly also cold. The terrace is very nice though with a great view on the parliament. I was very disappointed because it seemed like a nice place but the staff completely ruined the experience. I will not be going back there

Firstly, we had a decent experience overall. The waiter tried to show off with his pseudo-eidetic memory of taking our orders without writing them down. Surprisingly, our orders didn't come out right. Well, not everyone is rain man I guess. When we pointed out the mixup, the waiter decided to start a slightly heated discussion instead of simply fixing THEIR error. However, when we asked for the bill and showed our student IDs to claim the student discount, the waiter refused to accept them because of (quote):"I already printed the bill and can't change anything anymore, you have to tell us next time in advance". We weren't too amused but we still accepted our fate. We then asked to pay together and the waiter grabbed the bill without explaining anything and came back with a new bill. We were baffled because for some reason the previous bill of 109CHF somehow turned into 146CHF. So apparently, the initial bill was already discounted but just because we asked for the discount, he decided to overcharge us. The food was decent but this poor display of customers service is definitely not making us wanting to ever return again.

This is a quick Asian casual lunch or diner. The restaurant is one for up and it's not so easy accessible. The service was very friendly and we very quick we got what we ordered. The food was spicy and well prepared. We will return here sometimes. I can recommend this restaurant very much for a quick bite.

Great asian restourant in the hearth of bern city. Terrace with nice view. We ordered to try 2 different small soups witch size was bigger than expected and very tasty.Main dishes was also top. Recommend!

This used to be a favorite spot. Went there today again and my mom and I had the worst curry ever. It tasted like burnt plastic and expired food… When we asked for a new curry (my mom’s) the boss was extremely rude and came back with an entire different curry dish (she had green curry and he came back with yellow). Very disappointing, a waste of food and money.

Best Tibetan Momos in town! Be sure to add soup sauce, dried onions, soya sauce – and if you're up for it coriander – on top of your vegetarian, beef or mixed Momo dish. Enjoy!

They were delicious! Perfect for a little snack. I ordered 4 (2 meat and two veggie) with the soup and all the toppings. The toppings made it extra flavorful! Only take out but you can sit anywhere and eat in the city. Very friendly staff that spoke English:)

Not tasty at all!!! Vegan version is just a spinach pump. Truly disgusting. And tastes like a whole lemon was added to the sauce

I don't understand the low rating. The taste was good. I was surprised with the salsa which remains more mexican soup but I like this combination. Price for 6pcs is allright for Switzerland.

We were having dinner celebrating the bride to be with a big group of 13 people. The atmosphere on the terrasse during a warm summer evening is magical! You can look down on the Aare river and see the Swiss alps painted red from the sunset. We had the set menu, with each course being delicious. The food combined traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern take on and interesting combinations. The service was very attentive and curated a beautiful evening! On top of that, they even celebrated the bride to be in their very special way with bubbles, polaroid pictures and a special dessert. Definitely recommended and will go back to celebrate other special moments in life!

I was passing by Bern and came across the restaurant and saw the great reviews so decided to have lunch there. The catch was I arrived around 30 minutes before they close! The restaurant manager and chef were so sweet and accommodated me as I already knew what I wanted from the menu, steak! They did not disappoint and met up to the reviews I read, everything i had was delicious and the music and atmosphere was great. The mojito was perfectly done, and the sizzling steak was exquisite. Thank you to the amazing team working there for a delightful lunch on my trip 💙

I visited the newly opened summer terrace at Noumi Restaurant in Bern yesterday – and it was an absolute highlight! The atmosphere on the terrace is relaxed yet stylish – perfect for warm summer evenings. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional – you feel welcome from the very first moment. And the food? Simply outstanding! Every course was not only a delight in terms of flavor but also beautifully presented. You can really tell that great care and attention to detail go into every dish. For me, definitely one of the best summer dining experiences in Bern. I’ll definitely be back!

A good looking restaurant inside an amazing hotel. The employees are nice but a little forced to be like that, don't sound natural. Food is great but the relationship between the price is very high. You will find better near by. Maybe I will give another chance.

We had a salad for starters, a pad Thai and fried rice. The dishes were good. The salad had a nice dressing and the friend rice was delicious. Had lunch at Fugu with my family and I have to say it was amazing. The owner was extremely friendly and recommended menu items based on our palette and dietary restrictions. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fusion restaurant in Bern!

Nice asian (mainly Japanese & Chinese) in the center of Bern 🇨🇭 Friendly staff, at your disposal, the restaurant itself is very well presented, the tables are big and it’s spacious, for every dish you order you have sauces at your free disposal. The meal itself was very good & tasteful. I recommend you this place to stop by!

I come here every once in a while, because I know the food won't disappoint. The dishes are tasty and service is friendly. It is admittedly a bit pricey due to the location, but takeaway is 20% off.

We came this place and ordered the fugu platter, wasabi beef, tuna tataki — everything was more than wonderful!!! And we were sooooooooooo satisfied about the dessert - must order: Chocolate Chili Ice cream, and Fondant chocolat with Matcha ice cream — very authentic and original 🥰 The sencha and fugu blended tea are both super tasty to drink We highly recommend and will come back again ! Ps: weekend waiting time is incredibly long - we were angry at first 😜

Good portion, good price, having been to Thailand many times, I wish I could taste those ingredients, lemongrass, galanga, etc more. It seems to be all toned down. Perhaps they try to make more Swiss friendly.

I went there for a quick lunch. The service was amazing, the ladies there are super nice. I went for a fried gyoza starter and some nasi goreng with chicken. The food was great as well and the portion sizes were... just enough. Try the home-made Thai Ice Tea when you are there, it was delicious (and get some Sake too!)

Very good Thai and Chinese Kitchen. It wasnt really authentic spicy even though we asked for it. Fair price, enough space and lots of meals to choose from. Gentle and good service. Delicious starters and a good selection of drinks.

The food was very tasty. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the udon noodles. For starters we had the gyoza. Everything very tasty. If you like a sweet drink I can recommend the homemade Ice Tea. The staff was very friendly. The two negative things were that whenever someone entered the restaurant it got quite chilly. So make sure not to sit too close to the door. We waited for over 45 minutes for our food. The table next to us came in around 15 minutes later and they got their food first.

The service is good but the taste of the food is so-so. We order Laab Gai chicken but isn’t the taste I expect. A bit cold and salty. Gaeng Pet beef taste, the curry is thick but I don’t like the vegetables. The Galangal is still in side the curry :) I don’t find the smell of basil, coriander or lemon grass.

Great Asian restaurant in Bern. Their specialty is BBQ, with custom-built table grills. The grills work with hot coal. Additionally, the menu also includes dishes from other Asian countries. The ingredients were all fresh and good quality. The decor is elegant. All staff were very friendly and attentive. There are big tables for group dinners. Several vegetarian options are available.

A very particular place, with a nice atmosphere, in an industrial campus like surrounding. A nice outside setting with fire and some girl options. The menu is small, but has excellent dishes. Nice selection of local beers. 🍻 Worthwhile a visit, when you are in the Wankdorf area.

We so truly enjoyed our dinner here. We tried the beef goulash and the bbq. Also found some very unique local drinks on the menu and finished off with a nice chocolate brownie. Thanks for the amazing service

Nice location near Bern Wankdorf train station. Staff is quite friendly and chatty. Do not expect to find the regular big red drink, they serve a local coke but it is okay. Food is good, they serve some Japanese fusion. My recommendation is the salade with the Japanese style eggs.

I had food poisoning from this place, I would not recommend to go there. I used to be often at Dean & David in other cities and really liked their concept and healthy food. When I went to this store in Bern I ordered a bowl and after a view hours I became sick and had food poisoning. It could also not have been anything else that I ate that day. I wanted to sort it out with them directly and not via a bad Google review. I reached out to them 2 times which is months ago and never received a reply. At least an apology would have been nice. Very very bad service! I will never go there again.

Ordered two bowls which include Quinoa as per the description. Both of the bowls came with white rice only and no quinoa. If you charge CHF 60 for two bowls, AT LEAST get the order right.

Just came for a visit the other day to realize that my beloved Dean and David is not the same here in Bern as it is in Hanau. No coffee,no soup,no fresh juices.....we are having winter time,are you going to serve these dishes again when the temperatures have risen? I am quite disappointed and could understand if D&D have to pack it in soon,sorry but friendly service can not make up for a bad menu.

Very delicious good quality shawarma ! Amazing customer service too, the 2 men were so sweet and offered some samples of falafel which were amazing and we ended up ordering some too and really cared if we enjoyed our food, you dont come by that too often .

Absolutely loved my experience at Korian Restont! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor — the Korean BBQ was perfectly marinated, the kimchi was authentic and fresh, and the bibimbap had just the right balance of ingredients. Everything tasted homemade with great attention to detail. The service was fast without feeling rushed, and the portions were generous. It’s clear the chefs take great pride in their cooking. Bibimbam and Kimchi was nice. Almost same as Korean original Bibimbab. Nansan means south mountain. It is located center of Seoul, South Korea. It is famouse for Namsan tower and pork cutlet.

I'm Korean and this is my favorite korean restaurant. It's just like korean food that we can have in Korea. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything except the beef bulgogi and bibimbap is Asian fusion. The curry has nothing in common with curry served in Korea or Japan. Also, what's the sense of advertising a shrimp dish on Uber Eats as "Gul"? 굴/Gul means Oyster…

We went here spontaneously today during the Lorraine ‘Chilbi’ and what a lovely experience. The owner ans staff are super friendly, the food was yum and overall we had a great time. The weather was perfect and their terrace had everything we needed. We ordered a bi bim bap with beef PLuS kimchi on the side! It was so yum! It cane in a hot stone and the food was super duper hot till the end. We loved how a crust was built on the rice from the hot stone which gave it a crunch! If i lived in Berne, I’d definitely visit again soon! Definitely a discovery and worth a visit! We also had a house ice tea which was great.

We were actually planning to head next door for Chinese noodles, but I was stopped in my tracks when I spotted Momo. A friend had recommended the "Thenthuk" after trying a homemade version filled with loads of vegetables and coriander—she couldn’t stop raving about it. So, I decided to give it a try instead. I ordered the vegan version, which came with planted protein. The soup was absolutely delicious, and the noodles reminded me of Chinese 刀削面 (knife-cut noodles), topped with some spinach. I was expecting a lot more variety of veggies though, and was a bit disappointed there wasn’t any coriander. Interestingly, most of the other diners were ordering the momo set—it seemed to be the star of the menu. I’ll definitely come back to try that next time!

The food is amazing there. I can really recommend it. They have great vegetarian amd vegan options, they also have beef im case you want meat. We has two drinks each a salad and two times 10 momos whoch was all delicious and tasty. The only negative thing I have to say is that the tap water was CHF 9.00 even though we ate and drank for CHF 90.00. I think it‘s very overpriced and especially when having a salad and mains as well as other drinks it is too much to ask for tap water. Otherwise I can definitely recommend it.

A cool place for lunch and dinner in Bern, a place of plenty of restaurants and cafes. I had the momo special dumplings which were quite tastey, like a more heavy duty version of dim sum. The weekly special was my favourite flavour, all helped with the soy & chilli sauce. The inhouse ginger-lemon water was very refreshing. My first experience here as recommended by the lovely lady in the bank. Service was impeccable, welcoming, friendly and absolutely helpful.

Very good service, nice deco and very kind service. Nice overall, experience. The momos, where really good, the dough was very good and fresh, though to my taste a bit too thick. They recommend getting ca. 10 momos but I was already feeling very full with 8, so 6 momos plus Glace is more than enough. What does make a, visit worth and special, here is their signature drinks and special deserts. I tasted TENZ sour drink, which was really amazing and had TENZ Tsampa Glace, which made the visit there worth it.

I am fairly certain I overcharged here. I ordered the 2-person shared combo (20 momo’s, 2 salads, 4 sauces, 2 ice teas) as well as club soda water and somehow it came out to 73 CHF. That’s pretty much $80 USD for 20 dumplings and some sides.. I didn’t notice inflated this is whenever I was rung up but something doesn’t seem right here. Overall the food was good but because there was definitely something added to the bill, I would not come back.
