Stunning!!! A creative and refined cuisine, really a fantastic discovery. Glad i went there. Everything excellent, especially the pigeon, diamond tip. The service is impeccable and great also the selection of wines which i really enjoyed It was unforgettable and i’ll go again if i’m back in the city.

The food was excellent, the menu being is seasonal I can not really recommend anything in particular as it might not be available anymore as you are reading this, but I would definitely encourage you to go for the wine pairing option, the recommendations from the sommelier were spot on. Very nice restaurant in the center of Mulhouse. We had the 'riviera' menu, everything was delicious and extremely well presented. The cost is not too high compared to the quality of every single dish. The tables are in a suggestive courtyard, the name 'il cortile' comes from this. Only a minor setback: the staff, even if always very polite, was a little bit 'clumsy' on a few occasions. Nothing major, but you don't expect that in a Michelin restaurant. It's absolutely worth having dinner at this restaurant.

The friendly service lacks coordination and harmony, unlike the menu, but we got there in the end. Not sure how. Definitely something to keep in mind when booking. But a restaurant is about food and we felt it definitely scored the right mark.

Anything less than 5 stars for a place like this would not do the experience any justice. Each individual course was perfection, service could not have been better and the price is absolutely reasonable for the impeccable quality provided. We will be back for sure!

Fine small 1 star restaurant. Great food and wines. Clean toilets. No car park. Staff are good but were a little cold during our last visit, perhaps due to the lockdown the following day. A smile goes a long way.

Very small but almost perfect French restaurant. The fixed price menu at €25 is an incredible value. I had a rabbit appetizer followed by slow-cooked pig cheeks and a fantastic chocolate dessert. Each dish was as well prepared as it could have been and the service was friendly and efficient. The room itself is charming and not too noisy. There are many wines by the glass, carafe or bottle and all at reasonable prices. There were a mix of older couples and families with children. As far as I could tell I was the only person from outside of town at dinner so support by locals seems strong.

Fabulous find. Great in every way calm friendly efficient service unobtrusive. Choice of regional dishes well prepared and served, similar wine list.Small intimate with 20 covers, booking necessary even on Tues/Weds evenings.A real treasure for Mulhouse long may it remain.

Found it on google map but went in its full. The guy said they don't do table run but when I walked pass 30 mins later. There are two empty tables but he would not take me. Just because I'm Asian!!! I am going to call Michelin to make sure if this restaurant was fully approved as sign outside the door.

4 of us went in for dinner on a very busy Wednesday evening. Arrived at our reservation on time and we were quickly sat down. Although menus were given, we didn't get to order drinks and food for another 40mns. It have us time to catch up but it would have been better to do it over drinks. Tarte flambée wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good. My veal kidneys were slightly overcooked to MY liking, but mustard sauce was good, and it was a very generous serving. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. Besides the long wait to put in an order, once the order went to the kitchen, food quickly appeared. Would definitely give them another chance. Service was gracious and owner very nice. 3 stars for service were simply because of the long wait when we got there. Recommended but expect to be very patient.

A little bit funny why we ended up here, my wife had a appetite for something pork. We have been touring quite a bit of Europe, she being from Asia asked my French friends, can you find a restaurant that has some pork related dishes? And here we have it and more German style restaurant. From movie stars and famous singers and other famous locals that I've been here, locals obviously a favor this restaurant. Not just pork auctions but many wonderful dishes from chickens beef and vegetarian. Wine and beers with a beautiful bar inside. Traditional decor that looked historic. We went the place was loud and packed. We like that because it meant it is obviously good, All of us ate every bite on our plate nothing left. Thoroughly enjoyed being here. The owner comes around to every table and she's a lot of fun. It seemed more family style. Warm atmosphere excellent food great beers and wine. What more could you ask for?

It can easily be the best local restaurant in Mulhouse. They have a great variety of Alsacian food, such variety I couldn't find at any restaurant in Alsace. The place was packed with locals on a Wednesday evening. The waiters were running, but were friendly, and the food was just amazing. Definitely recommend!

This restaurant is quaint, and cozy. Alsatian cuisine was good. We had Flamm tarts with emmentaler cheese melted on top. Nice restaurant.

My new husband booked this restaurant for our honeymoon and I was delighted. We had escargot, rabbit in Riesling sauce and pork chops. Highly recommend all three dishes! We also tried a strawberry tiramisu for dessert which was awesome. BUT! You have to try the house Muscat! It comes in a little jug and is the most floral white I have ever tried. A huge thanks for the wonderful and welcoming service and the extra touch of rose petals on the table. Sometimes in France, going out for dinner can be intimidating if you don't speak French - this place is the most friendly place to visit and the food and wine is incredible! Just to give an idea we had 4 glasses of wine plus a carafe (don't judge me lol) an entree, 2 mains and one dessert and it was around 80 euro. I think it was excellent value! Highly recommend.

A very good and authentic Thai restaurant, the price is fair, the quantity is big, the quality is good and the taste is great. The takeaway service was fast we order and 10 minutes later everything was ready.

Outstanding Thai food, not to be compared with the fake, everything tastes the same neighborhood Thai restaurants you get everywhere. No luxury decor, few wait staff but it's the food that people come for.

This is one of the most atmospheric places in this city. When you get to this place, you are ready to stay there for hours enjoying the atmosphere. Top service, the waiters were very polite. The place is really nice and special but the food was a bit disappointing. I think it’s better to avoid choucroute and alsacien dishes and order foie gras which was excellent or tartare.

The place was fine, But the service was horrible, We were waiting for about an hour until someone came to ask if we wanted to order, how is that professional? You charge a lot for yet tasteful food, but incredibly small. It's a bit of a scam and your servers are horrible at costumer service. You should hire new workers to maybe not have your business fail!

The food is good but not …woow

The place is nice and well kept, the service is 5 ⭐, the food however was a but disappointing. Not just for me but for some of the others who ate. I got the meat Choucroute, and others got the fish Choucroute. We both were disappointed by the sauerkraut itself, and the potatoes weren't done well.. we sent them back and they brought back new potatoes but they were still not done well.. some other people got the steak tar tar and it was really good. But because the service was so good, they kept apologizing and offering other stuff, we didn't need it but it was very appreciated. And they treated us for champagne at the end Which was a nice touch. I'd come back for sure but because I know they are professionals. I just might not order the Choucroute.. Also the wine selection and deserts were great.

A fantastic choice for sharing typical Lebanese cuisine. The menu is designed for sharing. You can take their preselected 6 or 9 dishes and pay per person. You can also add single dishes. For example, we got the 6, but I really wanted Labneh and added it. It was plenty of food. Very good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious.

It was our first time there, the food was very delicious and authentic. It is a family-run restaurant; both Gloria and her husband Pierre are welcoming and attentive! We particularly liked the hot mezze and the makanek! We will definitely visit again when we crave Lebanese food.

Was here for dinner with my girlfriend. They had just brought out the mezze, when my girlfriend said she felt bad after a long day traveling. I told the staff and they were completely understanding and packed the whole meal so we could finish it at our hotel. They even added a little desert (baklava) as a feel better soon present. So friendly!

Very tasty food in a traditional Alsacien restaurant. We were 4 people and we ate 4 different dishes. They were exceptional. I had the coq with sauce of white wine. It was very tasty. I recommend this restaurant for its perfect food and the beautiful atmosphere. The personnel was very polite and helpful.

Do not bother with a reservation. Refused to give us a table outside and offered a very small non table inside. And was then puzzled when we didn't stay. He should go back to catering school to understand service, his failed metier.

Great food in the heart of town.

Such a nice waitress welcomed us to this small restaurant. Than we got the perfect dinner for appropriate price. We enjoyed the whole evening without any compromises. Looking forward to come back as soon as possible.

The pub seems to be always full, very cool atmosphere, good beer and tasty flammekueches! You can try the “gendarme” sausage, it’s really good!

Probably my best review ever! Lovely pub. Great beers, degustation and happy hour. Most importantly the staff were so engaged and happy.( I witnessed a new server being trained and it was a joy! He was not bullied but encouraged and then he started smiling! ) He will no doubt add to the happy staff there. Totally happy experience. Well done!

The place is really welcoming, the staff is super professional. They have a lot of varieties of beer on tap, other then a nice variety of the classic cocktails on the menu. The food was really good, and a special mention to the truffle-parmezan sausage that made my friend orgasm at the table. Highly reccomand!

The restaurant is nice, but... we waited for 1h35 to get what you see in the pictures. The food... you can eat. But, not everything was bad. Victor, the waiter, was very kind and very polite.

Today we had a great lunch on their terrace overlooking the old town square opposite the church. Great place to enjoy Alsatian cuisine. We had Tourte Alsace au Riesling and Choucroute La Muhausienne (pork knuckle). Really good and well presented. Prices are fair.

Very nice people and salad! We stopped here for a very quick bite to eat and told them when we entered that we only had 50 minutes left on our parking meter and would just get a salad. They were very kind, quick and the crudités were wonderful. I also got a cafe gourmand which included a lovely fig tarte. Would definitely come back for a full meal.

2.5 stars! For me sometimes sad I can't give half stars but anyways...... Positive: The waitresses were very friendly. And with english/ german the communication was good. The food tasted amazing!!! Thumps up to the cooks. We had different burgers and they tasted really good the same goes for the fries. Negative: we had to use our mobile phones for the english menu but on their site there was no english menu. With a translator app and half an hour to order we could order. But why not have an english menu ready on paper? What if the customer doesn't have the possibility to look for an english menu?! We waited another half hour for the entree and another half hour for the main dishes. So beside the taste everything took to long in my opinion.

Wonderful dinning experience! Our host was patient with our lack of ability to speak French. Food was of Michelin quality. For American guests just be prepared to debone your own fish if you choose that item. Highly recommend this restaurant if you have the opportunity. It certainly has a truly local feel.

The wine and meat we had was good. The dessert and one of the appetizers were a bit simple.. The service wasnt bad although they kept forgetting to bring some stuff (I have to say it was full).. The 3 stars go specially for the constant cold we felt. I usually do not get cold easily but my wife does and she had luckily warm shoes.. they do not heat so if you are a woman and have UGGs do not hesitate to wear them for a dinner in there

The friendly greeting and wonderful service was great but the food was absolutely magnificent. Fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. A delightful balance of flavours and textures. We went there every night. It was divine.

Best Restaurant in mühlhouse

The best is to eat in their terrace, a quiet place without much light for some romantic dinner. The other must is their desserts, they look fantastic. Food was good and the service as well. Only negative would be the speed of the service, but in our case it wasn't an issue. Overall it is a slightly pricesy, but that's the common of a french cousine.

The food is great, looks beautiful, the ingredients are fresh, and it tastes delicious. We were seated outside and there was a lot of smoking and it made the experience poor - though I'm not sure this is something we can complain in france. At winstub you are also close to the center so you have a good view and so close to the main church for a post lunch walk.

The food was good, but the service was really bad, we ordered our food and waited for at least 40 minutes before recieving the first dish. The last dish was served to us 25 minutes later than the first, and they also brought the wrong dish. We pointed out the mistake and after a further 10 minutes the dish finally arrived. Total wait beyond the hour, they didn't even offer the whole dish but only a drink. And finally the POS wasn't working so we paid in cash. Maybe It was and unlucky experience, but It ruined my evening.

Absolutely despicable, Popped in for food. Miserable old women that greeted us was rude from the off. Yes, I’m English. But I’ve lived in France for 10 years. So for her to mutter under her breath that I’m a “cheap tourist” kind of upsets me. Menu is terrible. As you may guess, I didn’t stay for food. And that led to more sarcastic remarks from her on the way out. Avoid this place at all cost.

Usually I'm very critical, but this is amazing !!! Starting from the lady at the entrance, the Personell inside, food (delicious) and timing. The personell inside is so nice and polite, I don't think they're french.

Not really impressed with the food or atmosphere in the outdoor terrace. Table to the left were smokers, and the smell of smoke tainted the flavor of our food. Table to the right spilled a glass of red wine that sprayed my guest and I. No apologies from staff or any of the parties involved. My spätzle hicken supreme was prepared with an institutional type sauce whose flavour profile was based on salt and powdered cheese. The accompanying salad was uninspired iceberg lettuce with a bit of shredded red cabbage and carrot dressed with a commercial Italian type dresssing. My companion's cheeseburger, with rösti patties acting as buns, looked interesting, but the beef was undercooked and he said the cheese had a stale flavour. Given the poor QPR, I wouldn't return.

The food was good and the quantity was generous. Fast service and prepared staff. However the waiters were not speaking english which makes tourists having a bit of a hard time.

We were staying the night in Mulhouse and walked into the town for food and drinks. Found this restaurant so we went in sat down eventually ordered drinks and looked at the menu, menu wasn’t what we were looking for being in a French town. Lady from front of house came to take our order for food and we said we are just having drinks and was very rude so we left. Disappointing

It’s been a fantastic culinary experience. From the moment you entre de restaurant you really feel comfortable and very welcomed. The food was marvellous and a real experience. We had a really wonderful meal at Restaurant le 17. We noticed its offering board as we walked through Mulhouse's old city, keeping an eye out for a place to have a midday meal. The daily offering and a menu posted next to it enticed us, and we followed the arrow down Rue Palle until we found the restaurant and asked if it was open for a midday meal. The place seemed just to be opening, but they kindly seated us at a comfortable outside table and we ordered some Alsatian Riesling, which turned out to be very good — I never saw the label, so don't have that information to share. One of our group ordered the plat du jour, a faux filet of beef served wtih potatoes dauphinoise and mushroom sauce, with a dessert of pineapple crumble. The other person in the group and I ordered onion soup. The waiter told us the soup would take some 10 minutes to cook, but the actual waiting time was more like 40 minutes — and that was fine with us, because we enjoyed sitting outside and were not in a rush. When the food came, we all thought it was outstanding, as was the pineapple crumble that followed, which we all shared. I'd highly recommend this unpretentious little restaurant serving traditional French items in the heart of Mulhouse.

I am second time at this place, it’s nice and food is great, just was a bit disappointed, that it was no onion soup, which was before, they changed menu, and actually it’s why I went there. Pity to come in France and didn’t eat onion soup.

Restaurant Le 17 is an excellent place with outstanding service. A special thank you to our waiter, Adrian — he was kind, attentive, helpful, and his recommendations were absolutely spot-on. The wine he suggested — an Alsatian Riesling — was exquisite: a beautiful mineral character, refreshing yet pleasantly dry. Truly a perfect choice. The food was beyond praise. The scallops as a starter were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For the main course, I had the duck breast, which was superb — tender and rich. The perch fillet with risotto was a true masterpiece, and the pork knuckle was a classic done just right — hearty and satisfying. Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of both food and service. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — a memorable dining experience!

I'm glad we made a reservation and hade everything go smoothly. From the delectable sea bass to the perfectly cooked steak fillet, the food just melts in your mouth. The servers are really friendly and the local cocktails 🍸 creations will have you wanting more. It was quick and easy to eat dinner here after a long day of sightseeing. The location is great and out of the busy area of town. Desserts are amazing as we tried the pavlova and ice cream. The meringue was fluffy and perfectly creamy. I would recommend this for a romantic couples night out or a quick family dinner!

I booked Restaurant Le 17 for my partners Birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint! The food was impeccable and of very high quality. The cocktails were amazing and served swiftly by our very friendly waiter. The restaurant lived up to high expectations from its reviews and was a perfect choice for such a special occasion.

A very solid restaurant combining the larger portions of Alsatian cuisine and the flair of haute cuisine. Had the veal as the main course and tried all 3 appetizers. Oddly enough I think the Fish appetizer was best for me (someone who usually does not like fish). The foie gras was excellent and plentiful. Figs were good but needed better goat cheese. Deserts although solid were not that special. Wine selection was great for reasonable prices and service was excellent. Highly recommend.

We took a significant detour to get to the place and managed to be at the door before 9:30pm ... their site and Google say they are open until 10pm. The waitresses and the receptionist told us that they are closed w/ an explanation that sometimes they decide to close early ... and they chckled about it thinking that was funny and have not even tried to apologize ... it was not funny at all. Very unprofessional and borderline insulting.

The best Asian food in Alsace, hands down. The service is incredible, the restaurant is spectacular (an old consulate building), the food was delicious, the selection is incredible, and ending the meal with an iced mochi was the iccing on the cake. What a lovely evening! Highly recommended.

On our way to Basel last Saturday for the Eurovision weekend, we made a pit stop in Mulhouse for a late breakfast at Crêperie Crampous Mad, and it was a great decision to fuel up with some proper French crêpes. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. We were all impressed by the variety and tastiness of the crêpes. It was interesting to experience them prepared differently from what we're used to in Germany – definitely a more authentic French touch. My husband ventured for a particularly unusual combination: a crêpe with sucuk and feta cheese, which he thoroughly enjoyed! I savored my favorite flavors in a delicious crêpe with goat cheese, honey, and walnuts. My daughter was happy with her classic sweet choice of chocolate and banana. The service was notably fast and very friendly. The staff were helpful in recommending different crêpes, which was much appreciated. Overall, the experience was very good – the crêpes were excellent, the outdoor seating was lovely, and the service was top-notch. The only slight drawback I would mention is that it felt a little on the expensive side, perhaps a bit more than what we typically expect for crêpes in France. However, considering the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere, it was still a worthwhile stop and a great way to start our Eurovision day.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch with exceptional service delivered by an awesome waitress named Carolyn. The atmosphere was buzzing. We ordered a Chicken Roma & Au Bureau signature burger. Both were cooked to perfection. Following our main course we ordered a tea and a small selection of dessert. I felt like a queen when Carolyn brought the selection of tea options to our table for me to choose the type of tea I would like. Despite there being only one waitress attending to our area the service was fast & friendly. Carolyn was not only efficient, she was bubbly & served everyone with a big smile on her face. I can safely say our experience at Au Bureau was one of the best service experiences we have experienced during our 4 month tour of Europe.

Pretty terrible service. We ordered 3 rib steaks and pointed clearly at the photo which the waitress nodded at. She came out 20 minutes later with 3 racks of ribs instead of steaks. The other waiter started pointing at us as this went down and sounded like he was talking shit to the other customers. Fantastic service Fantastic food! Open till 10 pm. I was driving through France and found a place close to this restaurant to stay. Will, I picked a place to stay and this was the nearest restaurant open past 9:30. This was open till 10 and I got there at 9:20 pm. I was seated immediately by the friendly waitress who spoke English - much to my relief! Manu was in French but Google translate make quick work of it. I ordered the sauteed mushrooms over salad and the beef filet with the Roquefort sauce. There is some magic in the olive oil they use for the salad dressing. It smells wonderful and seems to have layers of tastes and aftertastes. Don't get used to it - you'll have a tough time having your regular stuff. I got to taste it in the mushroom appetizer and a salad they served with my entree. Delicious! I ordered the beef rare and it came as ordered. They were out of fries so they substituted it for a lightly sauted vegetable. I've never had this sauce before and it didn't disappoint. Rich with all the flavor of blue cheese without being overpowering. When the plate arrived I thought there was a bit too much sauce - boy was I wrong! It was all gone by the end of the meal. Every dish I ate was DELICIOUS! I was there well past closing time - something I hate to do, so I was glad there were a few other customers as well. I expected the check to pack a punch but for all the food I ate it was very reasonable. Also, I think their menu changes frequently - not sure though. I must say again that the lady that served my table is an absolute gem! I went in prepared for all sorts of confusion due to the language barrier - but she made my experience so positive that it's worth writing home about. I tried to tip her and she politely refused. Her attitude and her service made this meal fantastic for me.

Disastrous Dining Experience I'm still in disbelief over the truly awful meal I had at Pum Thai Mulhouse. The chicken satay was an absolute insult to Thai cuisine. The meat was ice-cold, as if it had been plucked straight from the refrigerator and served with a half-hearted attempt at warming up the sauce. The noodles were rubbery and flavorless, and the rice was hard and grainy, resembling something closer to birdseed than an edible grain. I've eaten at countless Thai restaurants, but this was without a doubt the worst dining experience of my life. I cannot stress enough how disappointing this meal was. Avoid this place at all costs.

If I could award 10* I would. We went to Le Petit Paris last night for my husband’s birthday. It was a fabulous experience. Thiébaud the Manager was fantastic. He was incredibly welcoming and friendly and he also spoke perfect English if required. My husband had their Menu Découverte (4 dishes of the Chef’s choice) for 55€ plus 3 pairing wines for an additional 22€. What fantastic value. Every dish was beautifully presented and the flavours exquisite. I went a la carte and again, the presentation and flavours were amazing. Thank you Thiébaud for giving us such a memorable night.
