Brasserie
French restaurant
Restaurant
Jack's Brasserie, located in the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern, is a classic French eatery known for its timeless elegance and sophisticated charm. The restaurant offers a seasonal menu featuring classic French dishes such as tartares, minestrone, cassoulet, veal liver, and their renowned giant Wiener schnitzel. With an excellent selection of Swiss wines and top-flight French reds, Jack's Brasserie is a popular destination for both locals and visitors.
Jack’s Brasserie is a true gem in the heart of Bern. The classic atmosphere, elegant wood-paneled interiors, and warm lighting create the perfect setting for a refined dining experience. The service is exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their signature wiener schnitzel is perfectly crispy and tender, while the seasonal dishes are crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The wine list is well-curated, offering excellent pairings for every dish. Whether you’re here for a business lunch or a romantic dinner, Jack’s Brasserie delivers a consistently memorable experience. It’s no surprise this is one of Bern’s most beloved culinary institutions.

Such a great classy and chic place! The food has even improved since our last visit a couple of years ago. Go for the classic Wiener Schnitzel and do please take potato salad as side 😎 … the Service is top and the ambience… yeah you gonna love this place…!
Gotoku N — Google review
This is a truly great restaurant to visit when you're in Bern! It's a bit pricey (just as everything in Switzerland, so I guess it's no surprise) but the food was phenomenal and the service even better. The lobster bisque was phenomenal and the steak was made to the right temperature and prepared very well. Overall we had a great experience for a dinner service and I strongly recommend trying this place out!
Avi A — Google review
We had dinner at the restaurant this evening — everything was delicious! Special thanks to Elena for her attention and excellent service.
Elina B — Google review
During our stay at the hotel, we made two reservations at the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed. The staff knew we had come with dogs and were very surprised we didn't bring them along – without any mention, we were given a table with the most space so that our four-legged friends would be comfortable. I greatly appreciated this. We were served by Ms. Justyna. Very helpful and smiling. She was excellent at guiding us through the dishes. For the appetizer, we ordered tartare, which she prepared at our table, presenting many possible additions beforehand. One of the best I've ever had. The sommelier at this restaurant is a great asset. We are not amazing wine connoisseurs, but we mentioned what we like and what we don't. He selected an excellent wine for us that matched our tastes perfectly. He told interesting stories about the wineries they came from. We felt very well taken care of by the staff. On our second visit, we brought our dogs with us. They received bowls of water and cans of treats. Again, we were given a very spacious area. Unfortunately, the next day we had a 10-hour drive ahead of us, so the sommelier recommended a lighter, this time white wine for such an "occasion." Once again, we returned to our room satisfied with the dinner.

Excellent Service from Elena We were truly impressed by the level of service in this restaurant, especially thanks to our waitress, Elena. She knows the menu perfectly and can clearly explain every dish and its ingredients. Elena is also very familiar with the extensive wine list and gives great recommendations. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our dining experience wonderful. Her professionalism and warm attitude made our evening really special. A true example of outstanding service in Switzerland-Bern!
Victoria T — Google review
Warmth smiling starting from receptionist and everyone approaches our table. The waitress understand we don't like alcohol and recommend the Mandarins juice and it was good. All the appertize, soup and main dishes were delicious for us too. It was good memories for us in Bern.

Brasserie
Brasserie VUE, located in the chic atmosphere of the Belle Epoque at Hotel Bellevue, offers a mix of urban lifestyle and relaxed dining. The brasserie is frequented by state guests, parliamentarians, journalists, and tourists seeking an exceptional experience. While it can be pricey with options like oysters and sole on the menu, there are also more affordable choices such as Bernese sausage and cheese soufflé.
Brasserie VUE at Bellevue Hotel, as it proudly states ‘French, urban, chic’ is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Set within a stunning historical building, its stylish and contemporary interior perfectly complements the exquisite French-inspired cuisine. The seasonal menu, crafted with respect for regional ingredients, transforms every dish into a culinary masterpiece. The warm atmosphere, professional yet friendly staff, and attention to detail elevate every visit. Whether it’s enjoying a spontaneous drink on the iconic Bellevue Terrace or savoring a beautifully crafted meal, Brasserie VUE offers a perfect blend of food, ambiance, and hospitality for an unforgettable dining experience.
Swiss B — Google review
Brasserie VUE exceeded all expectations with its stunning ambiance and impeccable service. I ordered the salted seabass, and it was absolutely divine — perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned, and beautifully presented. The fish was moist and flavorful, with a wonderful balance of textures and subtle herbs enhancing the natural taste. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience. The panoramic views from the terrace made the meal even more memorable. It’s clear that attention to detail and quality ingredients are at the heart of this restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a refined and delicious meal.
The H — Google review
Great terrace, beautiful interior. Good cocktails, good food. Not much more expensive than other restaurants in Bern. Civet is a French stew of slow-cooked game meat (this civet was made with marcassin, young wild boar). The meat is marinated in red wine with aromatics, then braised. The sauce is traditionally thickened with the animal’s blood or liver purée, although flour is often used in modern preparations.
Kent W — Google review
Great evening spent at Brasserie VUE. Service was of highest quality thanks to Chef de Service Michele and team who granted our special requests and made it an unforgettable evening for us. Can only recommend the courgette tartar, the "paupiette de volaille" with Marengo sauce, and the babà with rum. Will certainly return!
Aris D — Google review
Brasserie VUE offers a pleasant setting with a stylish interior. The menu is well-curated, though the portions and prices might not suit everyone. Service is generally attentive
Thomann O — Google review
We are from Bern and know many wonderful restaurants here. For our wedding we received a dinner at the Bellevue as a gift – the atmosphere was beautiful and the service excellent. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the food. We ordered the most expensive cut of meat (entrecôte, 400 g), but the quality was not convincing: a lot had to be trimmed off and it wasn’t tender. These things can happen, but at this price point we expected more.
Chantal K — Google review
The brunch was very good. Enormously varied and rich. There is nothing to complain about the quality of the food. From the French croissant to the market-fresh vegetables and the various meat dishes to the excellent dessert selection, everything was just right. The ambience in the "Vue" is quiet and dignified. The staff is very friendly and has the appropriate class for the restaurant. The fact that mineral water is not included in the price is a mystery to me. Anyway, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is correct. Some little things, which I expect in a luxury hotel (hanging up jackets at the checkroom, no regular refill for coffee or no replacement of cutlery after the end of a course) are missing for the 5th star.
Mat M — Google review
Upscale fine-dining restaurant inside the Bellevue hotel. Elegant Victorian-style dining room with a terrace. Friendly, professional service. Portion sizes are a bit small, but they make up for it in quality. On weekends, one can also enjoy the rich brunch buffet.

Located on Kramgasse, it boasts a rich historical backdrop that enhances its appeal to both locals and visitors alike.
We love this Cafe so much we had breakfast here 3 days in a row. The croissants are to die for. Cappuccino was great. My husband loves their pancakes with maple syrup. 🍁 highly recommended!

great atmosphere and lovely set up with the big mirror. staff was very friendly, a cozy spot in the heart of the city.
Anisha J — Google review
Chill atmosphere, great place to relax and unwind before exploring Bern and the old town. Cakes were average, coffee were the better ones I had in Switzerland. Initially staff wasn't very friendly and helpful as we obviously looked like tourists (Asians) and were looking for seats. Thankfully another staff was very friendly and make sure we had our orders taken and checks in with us. I would say the service quality is not very consistent across all the waiters, definitely need more training if they brand themselves as related to Einstein and a tourist place to visit.
Angie K — Google review
Was a nice leisurely place to start a holiday weekend breakfast. Food was good, but wish it had more options! Ambience and service was great
Mani V — Google review
Unfortunately my experience was not good in this place. Unfriendly service and rude answers from the waitress made me frustrated. I am in Switzerland since 2 weeks and I never felt this in any place. I was thinking to order a cake too but I didn't want to spend more time here and the cold coffee that I drank was only ok. 14/08/25 (time- 11:50)

Tucked away in the vibrant Bahnhofplatz of Bern, Confiserie Eichenberger is a delightful haven for tea lovers and anyone seeking a cozy retreat. This charming café exudes an old-world charm that makes it one of the last traditional spots in the city, often bustling with patrons eager to indulge in its offerings. Guests rave about their delectable pastries and comforting milk coffee, making it a perfect stop for breakfast or an afternoon snack.
One of the last old-style cafés in Bern. Clearly something people want, because it is always full. My favorites are Schinkenweggli or Birchermüesli, always with hot chocolate.

It's a popular spot for locals, offering a relaxed ambiance perfect for remote work with comfortable seating, warm lighting, and friendly staff. The cafe serves breakfast and brunch options including vegetarian choices, making it an ideal place to start your day.
Wartsaal is a fantastic spot for a delicious brunch or a mouthwatering burger. The food is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, with generous portions that leave you satisfied. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Service is friendly and efficient, making for an all-around great dining experience. Highly recommended!
Dim N — Google review
Great cafe that kindly seated our group of 9 and were very helpful and friendly when making the reservation via email. All our group enjoyed the brunch dishes (the rosti and special sauce were a particular favourite) which were reasonably priced for the generous portions and fresh pastries. Food and drinks arrived quickly, but only service wasn’t great - fairly abrupt and with a constant scowl as if guests were an inconvenience - possibly as we were partly an English-speaking group. Didn’t dampen the experience though.
T M — Google review
We had a great brunch here - really chilled vibe, great food and delicious coffee! Peak times can be quite busy but staff remain friendly and a bit of a wait for food and ordering just means more time to relax and enjoy a chat. We really recommend this place!
Laura K — Google review
Lovely food, lovely service! We had the Rösti for brunch and it was delicious (a tinnnyyyy bit too salty) and the portions were very filling a beautifully presented! Definitely going to come back! The prices were also very good for the portions size. :)

We had a perfect brunch in Bern. A nice 10-15 minutes walk from the main Bern station. They can serve a French omelette, scrambled eggs or fried eggs until 13:30 on the weekend, with an enjoyable café atmosphere.

Great place for brunch on a Sunday! Staff are a bit overwhelmed at times it seems, but it is a cosy and welcoming place even if it is a bit pricey. The food is of good quality so can definitely recommend a visit. It's for the more affluent alternative but intellectual crowd, so should you fall into this category, this place will feel like home.

Café Kairo, located in the Lorraine neighborhood, is a hip and iconic cultural venue that offers a small menu featuring burgers, falafel, and craft beer. Since its opening in 1998, this café has been committed to using quality organic ingredients in both their food and beverages. They offer a selection of beers from small Swiss breweries, including those from Brasserie BFM. The café also hosts various events and occasional live music performances.
Great atmosphere, runned by kind people. Make sure to enjoy brunch and attend their shows. Good food , good music, nice people.

Every night a free live music concert, not bad but sometimes id love to sleep, too
Viktoriia M — Google review
Cool vibe and hosts of interesting indie music from around the world. Wish they had more of their great looking food during the daytime, but it’s a small scale operation so I understand. Hope to come back, and see the cat, for whom they have built an entire network of ramps and steps going up the building’s corner (worth going for that alone)…
Sam S — Google review
We stopped here for coffee while waiting for our washing to be done next door. The lady was so lovely and helpful. She actually changed a note for us to use in the laundry next door as well. So thankful. They didn’t take our card so we actually paid for coffee in euros. We only had enough local cash for our washing.
LJ — Google review
We went for late breakfast while our laundry was going next door. Lattes were amazing and breakfast while small was delicious. I had the fried egg with beans and sausage, and my husband had the fried onions with hummus and toast. Server was friendly and spoke English (just ask first). A fun vibe and neighbourhood.

Bakery
Confiserie Beeler AG is a renowned Swiss chocolatier located in Spitalgasse 29. The coffee and tearoom, established around 1960, has been tastefully renovated and offers little details that enhance the experience. They serve cafe creme with real cream in a separate mini jar and provide complimentary croissants before 11 am. Their sugar comes from Swiss national production and is packaged under their own Beeler brand.
A coffee-rolm that encapsules the classic meaning of a coffee and tearoom from ca. 1960. (of course tastefully renovated since then). Little details are abound: cafe creme is served with real cream (25% milkfat) in a separate mini jar. Complimentary croissant before 11 am is another extra touch. And finally, sugar from swiss national production (Rupperswil) packaged in its own Beeler Brand.
Daniel K — Google review
I took pictures of the beautiful pastries. It may be due to something that I am not aware of, but I was told "no pictures, please"...unfortunately in a little of a negative tone to the point I don't want to post the pretty colors of the pastries. Macroons were 1.80 and delightful.
Vic W — Google review
Was tempted by an orange cake in the window and decided to stop in. There was a group of people waiting to order and no real line management. The orange cake was fairly tasteless and dense. Staff speak very little English (which I understand, but seemed a bit put off that we spoke English, even when the group next to us were speaking Spanish). I won't be running back here.
Consuelo W — Google review
The food itself was fine. However, service was very unprofessional. First of all, I asked if they could warm up my "Schinkengifeli" (ham croissant) for me at the counter. They told me to take it to my place and ask for it when ordering our drinks. We waited for a long time before eventually having to get up to actively call someone to take our order. I was with tourists and they tried ordering in English, but the lady completely ignored them and only replied in Swiss German, with no attempt at all to communicate with them. In the end, I would've had to wait 10 minutes for them to warm my food, so I declined. They also forgot to bring one of our drinks and spilled all of the ones they brought. I would've rather just went to the Coop next door and it would've been a more pleasant experience.

Delicious chocolate cakes with caramelized almonds and good coffee! Quite central and cozy place!

the waitress with black hair, a little bit older was very unfriendly. did not greet us, the prices for the portion are definitely too high, no milk alternatives in 2023?! I understand they don‘t have soya milk or anything else, bit lactose free should be a must have

Fine selection of Florentini cookies. Not to sweet, bit sticky but I loved them.
Amila R — Google review
Very bad ! The personnel don't know anything. I ordered a latte and my cup was filled in half ! And asked which one of their pastries are sweet and they gave me one which was not at all sweet! And if you want to sit there they charge you extra! What a humiliating stupid customer service! Get your pastries and coffees somewhere else where you get treated with respect and dignity!

Café Lounge Lesbar is a delightful haven nestled in the historic heart of Bern, where time seems to stand still. Imagine curling up with a captivating book while savoring a rich cup of coffee and indulging in freshly baked croissants. This charming café, located within the same building as the Munstergasse library, caters not only to bibliophiles but also to food lovers. At lunchtime, you can enjoy delicious seasonal dishes crafted with an emphasis on reducing food waste.
Clean, modern coffee place in historic building. Friendly service, very good cake selection. Pretty and relaxing garden with outdoor seating. One of our favourite coffee spots in the city.

Einstein – au jardin – is a charming coffee shop located in the garden of the Cathedral of Bern. It offers a relaxing and spacious outdoor area with a nice view, making it perfect for tourists to chill and enjoy a good beer or coffee. The place can get crowded during weekends or warm days, but the service is always friendly. Visitors can also indulge in locally produced beverages, including the famous "Einsteinsbier," named after Einstein's two-year stay in Bern.
Perfect place to chill in the afternoon. The garden is very large, relaxing, with a nice view. Coffee and bread were not bad at all. I liked the dried tomatoes a lot. They offer soup and cheese and ham platter. You can have a proper picnic outside. I really enjoyed my time here.

Beautiful little pavilion in on the platform by the Munster. The coffee was decent and they had fine selection of pastries for the morning. Open on Sundays — hard to find good coffee on Sunday mornings in Bern
Greipur G — Google review
After ascending the 344 steps of the Bern Münster, this unique café provided a much-needed break. With its ample outdoor seating, shaded by trees or basking in the sunlight, the location offers a serene view of the Aare River, making it an ideal spot to unwind. On our visit, we enjoyed a Nitro Cold Brew, which proved to be THE BEST COLD BREW in Bern—exceptionally smooth and refreshing. The Aperol Spritz served as a perfect complement, while the brioche bun was a delightful snack. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. Having visited for the second time, I can confidently recommend this café for anyone seeking a peaceful break in their day. 10/10

Braeden H — Google review
The "Einsteinsbier" might just be the BEST beer I've served so far in den Schweiz and I've tried quite a few... but if there is something that absolutely kills me is that I have asked about the brand of beer! Of course they named it Einsteinsbier for marketing purposes, to capitalize on the fact Einstein lived 2 years in Bern, but I forgot to ask about the bier maker so I could more! X( So it cost me 7Fr for 0.5L. The bier is unfilthered, weizen, draught, slighlty brown in color, not bitter, cold and ideal to be drank for thirst during a heatwave, with just the right amount of foam and a very determined pungent beer taste which I adore. And unlike other Swiss brands which feel commercial, bland in taste, 3 day fermented and CO2 forced into it; the Einsteinsbier had a particular taste which only beers subject to the correct and recommeded 30-day fermentation period beers have. So if you ask me, das bier ist gut, zehr gut! and a bargain! wheb you pair it to the absolutely stunning view. They had some covkatils and appetizers to serve but I was not interested. In Bern I will more than surely be back as it is a quiet, easygoing town with chill, friendly people, but the Einsteinsbier will be on the "must-have" list, for more-than-once try-outs if not the only place and kind of bier to serve in the entire town!

Bern‘s most highly specialized and oldest tea shop also offers tea with snacks and Saturday morning breakfasts - occasionally of Japanese style! Book early, as slots tend to fill up quickly. Both the shop and the second floor tea rooms are lovingly and tastefully decorated and have an old town-house charm.

The service and staff here are amazing! Very professional. What we loved about the room: magnifying mirror that slides for taller/shorter people, spacious and sufficient space for two peoples' suitcases and hanging clothes, clean wood floors, plenty of outlets, good wifi, plenty of places to hang towels, outlet in the bathroom for curling irons, beautiful view. Suggestions: bathtub shower with high sides to step over was tough for my 85-yr old Mother.
Wendy M — Google review
I never leave reviews, but I was incredibly disappointed with both the hotel and service during a one-night stay on a tour of Switzerland. Our room was 203. Common areas are deceiving—they hide very dated hotel rooms—old red worn carpeting, dust ruffle from the 1980s, shower curtain, inconvenient plug location, TV on an awkward stand. Shower curtain was too small and bathroom became wet, no hot water in shower (although there was from sink), sink not draining well with water accumulating in bowl. Air conditioning in rooms cannot be lowered below 19C, but the beds only have super thick comforters. We were offered a fan, which was never delivered. We were told to leave the window open, which did not seem safe on the second floor in a metropolitan area. Dinner at the hotel was marginal at best—we were waited on by multiple servers who didn’t know what we had told the last server, food subpar, mismatched pool furniture on the terrace (best part of the hotel was the beautiful view from here). Morning breakfast below the quality of other hotels in Switzerland. Overall, staff seemed overwhelmed trying to care for other important guests (some type of delegation) and could not provide service to regular travelers. Definitely not 5-star.

Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa is a luxurious five-star hotel located in the heart of Bern. The elegantly designed rooms and suites cater to both business and leisure travelers, offering modern amenities such as Nespresso coffee machines and spacious bathrooms. Guests can indulge in exquisite French cuisine at the upscale restaurant, enjoy drinks at the chic bars, or savor panoramic views from the rooftop terrace.
I booked a room at this hotel because it was listed in my Capital One travel account. We had been traveling with a Viking cruise and are ending our trip in Switzerland. Since we’ve never been there before, we needed a place to stay for just a couple of days. We had to travel from Basel, Switzerland, to Bern via train, and it was a pleasant surprise to find that our hotel was just outside the train station. From the moment we walked in, the concierge made sure we were taken care of. We had been hauling large pieces of luggage around through the train stations, and he immediately took them from us and took care of them. Check-in was very smooth and easy. Everyone was exceptionally professional and very nice. Once we got up to our room, we were extremely pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it was. There was a towel warmer, and the refrigerator was fully stocked with food. The room was very clean. The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast again. It was exceptional, and the staff was incredibly nice. We’ve stayed at many hotels, and after traveling last year to Ireland and moving hotels almost every night with our group for 13 days, I would have to say this is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at abroad or at home in the US. I absolutely could not recommend this hotel more. It was amazing!
Novella M — Google review
The Schweizerhof hotel has a lot of charm and provides a very beautiful setting for a romantic weekend. We had booked a special room with roses, which was a very nice and promising touch. However, upon arrival, the bed sheets were visibly wrinkled, which gave an impression of carelessness — somewhat disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. We also dined at the hotel restaurant: the dishes were beautiful in presentation, but unfortunately, the taste did not match the appearance.
Anaël R — Google review
Very comfortable room although slightly warm and thermostat didn't seem to function. Great amenities for business travelers. Loved the lighting, audio, and video controls. Bathroom was well equipped with everything you need. Loved listening to tunes in bath. Expectations exceeded.

We had such a lovely time at Hotel Schweizerhof. The room was spacious and clean. We requested a portable AC to supplement the room AC, and they accommodated us right away. This worked really well when it was 90 degrees or so outside. The service was amazing, everyone was so helpful. The front desk lady Lisa helped us with our Aare swimming adventure and with all of our questions. If you're in town, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is very convenient. Borrow a waterproof bag and go for a swim in the river during the summer!
Jane M — Google review
A “grand dame” hotel whose reputation rests on its service, which was second to none. (Shout out to Luca on the front desk who was very friendly and efficient every time I dealt with him.) It’s in a very convenient location right by the station. Rooms are as you would expect from a hotel of this standard - I had a great night’s sleep. I ate dinner in Jack’s Brasserie which has a lovely cozy feel to it - the schnitzel was delicious. And breakfast there the next morning was equally successful - I loved lingering with newspapers, and they very kindly made me rösti with my fried eggs even though rösti wasn’t on the menu. Overall a very successful stay and a hotel that is easy to recommend.
London T — Google review
The reality is this is a 4.5 star hotel but I upped my rating to 5. The location is great for travel by train as it’s literally across pedestrian plaza from the main train station in Bern. But to get to most attractions, it’s about a 15 to 20 minute enjoyable walk. The rooms are on the smaller side, but this is Europe, so for North Americans, they might be unaccustomed to the size. The staff were AMAZING! They were attentive and extremely helpful.
Linus P — Google review
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Bern, right next to the train station (though you don’t hear any noise, as the station is underground). Service throughout our stay was excellent, and special thanks to our front desk clerk, Lucas B.J., who was exceptionally helpful. The property features a very nice spa, a cigar lounge, a bar, and a brasserie, all of which add to the overall experience. The only downside, something I would recommend checking in advance, is whether a wedding or private event is scheduled during your stay. Weddings are allowed to continue until midnight, and at times it can feel like you're staying above a nightclub, with the bass vibrations clearly noticeable in the rooms. Quite disappointing for a property belonging to the Leading Hotels of the World. That said, the staff across the board were outstanding, which made the overall stay very enjoyable.

It was really good and the owner is friendly and kind. We bought 2 drinks and 1 Swiss coin savories but she gave one free 😍😍 the location is near the train station
Sandy H — Google review
I really like their tea: both the tea and the bubbles are very flavourful, I like both their milky and fruity drinks. The amount of bubbles is ok, though I would like to have more for my personal taste. I give a 4 because the prices are one of the highest in Bern, even though in my opinion there are shops with comparable quality and lower prices. Another reason why I don't give a 5 is the tapioca - even though it is very tasty and the texture is quite nice, the balls tend to stick to each other a lot, which can make it very hard to enjoy your drink (once I ordered a drink with extra tapioca and it was impossible to drink it with a straw, I had to use a spoon in the end). In general, I like it very much one of my favorite bubble tea shops in Bern.

Been here two times where one time the staffs who were cleaning and the one who speaks Italian in the coffee sections were arguing instead of 5/6 customers who were waiting in line for. This guy was busy scolding the cleaners and was kind of rude. One of the largest selection of high quality and often organic herbs, spices and loose leaf tees. There are an enormous range of tea mixes as well as ingredients that can be put together yourself. There is a small café at the back where all teas can also be tasted. Often there are simple pastries to accompany the teas. They also have cups, mugs, teapots and various kinds of tea strainers.

I had a delicate cup of Oolong in a very pleasant atmosphere for under five Francs. I also find all my teas and spices here, none so far they did not carry!
Sabine F — Google review
I bought Milky Oolong and am very disappointed with the quality of the tea leaves and the flavour. I bought Milky Oolong from the brand Basilur for 2€ and cannot even compare the experience of drinking that tee! Basilur has better quality leaves and with that more balanced flavour. And they price difference is humongous, because buying from your shop makes me feel robbed!

I love the Rote Zora tea here as well as the milky oolong. Strongly recommended visit!

Nestled in a charming vaulted cellar on Gerechtigkeitsgasse, Lieblings is the perfect cozy café that quickly becomes a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. With its inviting atmosphere, it’s an ideal place to relax with a cup of coffee or enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. The 40-square-meter space exudes warmth and nostalgia, enhanced by soft lighting and candlelit tables that create an enchanting ambiance reminiscent of another era.
We stumbled upon this place while walking through Bern. And it’s totally staffed by volunteers and all their proceeds including tips they donate. Staff is super friendly and the coffee is great. Check it out!

Nice place to have a drink. Staff was very kind! There was no English menu, but he explained it all. The restroom was also very clean and neat.

The atmosphere of the cafe is very comfy and we had the chance to be there during a piano performance. The staff was also super nice and friendly. Only negative point the tea was too light.

Altes Pfarrhaus Kaffeebar, Coworking & Community is a charming and versatile space that offers a delightful brunch with options to customize according to your appetite. The beautiful interior and inviting garden provide the perfect setting for relaxation. It features a cozy fireplace, a selection of books for both adults and children, as well as newspapers and magazines. Additionally, there's a coworking room where you can enjoy special coffee while working or studying.
I found this gem on Google Maps and couldn’t be more satisfied with our choice! 😍 Visited for brunch. The toast I had was absolutely delicious, better than a full lunch! 🤤 I also tried their homemade tea, fresh from the garden, and it smelled divine. The service was excellent, with super friendly staff. The garden was beautiful, and we were treated to fresh grapes right off the vine. We were even invited to pick apples, which were incredibly tasty. I’m not sure when I’ll visit Bern again, but I’ll definitely come back to enjoy it all over again. Highly recommended! 🤩 P.S. co-working space available upstairs.

Great little place. A real hidden gem with their smiling and welcoming hosts. All is prepared with love and care. Portions could be a bit bigger but the remaining is awesome. Big garden for kids to play or for a chill shadow rest under the huge cherry tree. The building is also suitable for winter with plenty of room and original houselike room concepts. Definitely give it a chance!

Bellissimo posto! Amazing place with a beautiful garden to relax and enjoy the sun! Even the inside part is beautifully furnished for many different needs like a fireplace to warm up, read books for adults and kids, newspapers and magazines. My favourite part is the coworking room where it is possibile to work and study while drinking a very special coffee made from the gentle baristas. All the food and drinks are really tasty, well presented and especially local and organic! I would advice even the aperitive and the sunday brunch!

We were driving through the region and in desperate need of a proper coffee after a stressful drive through rush hour traffic. We stumbled across this little gem, and what a find it turned out to be! There’s free parking just at the side, which made it super convenient. From the warm welcome at the door to the fantastic coffee and delicious homemade cakes, everything was spot on. The garden at the back is a perfect hidden retreat with plenty of seating, ideal for soaking up the spring or summer sun while enjoying your coffee. It gave us the breather we needed to hit the reset button before continuing our journey. If you’re ever in the area, this place is an absolute must. We’re so glad we found it, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re passing through. Thank you for the lovely experience!

Really great. Lovely wee separate rooms which allows for a comfortable and quiet antosphere, rather than the hussel and bussel of a typical cafe. Love it
