Really nice old cafe with an impressive ceiling, bar and seating arrangement. It is usually crowded, especially during the winter and in the afternoons. The food is not that great. I can only recommend the burger which I enjoyed in one of my visits. Service is really relaxed. Maybe more than what you would expect in a historic cafe. Also, prefer to sit outside or if you go inside choose the tables in the bar area if they are available. The tables in the second room are not that great, the set-up is darker and you get the noise from the kitchen and the people visiting the toilets all the time. I prefer going there for a quick coffee or a hot chocolate with the kids, rather than for lunch or dinner. For that i would give it 5 stars, but the lunch/dinner experience is not that great.

The only person working at the time was a young guy who works here parttime as a student. Even though he was running all over the place he was a good host and always cheerful. This place is lucky to have him (unfortunately I forgot to ask him his name).
