MLS Crêperie Kájovská is a delightful spot to satisfy your sweet cravings after exploring the nearby castle. Visitors rave about the delicious crepes, with many returning for more. The crepes are rather too thin for my liking but the staff is generous with the fillings. I think the best seller is the Trdelník , they look really good though! Staff are very friendly, price is cheap.

Really recommend for quick stop and refreshment. We tried salty pancakes and were very tasty. Positive surprise was size of creps. We are used for smaller sizes from around the world so we ordered three (different from each other so we could try more) but we had “hard times” to finish it :). Stuff is friendly and nice.

This must be the best trdelnik I‘ve ever had, especially because it was prepared at the moment.
The staff (two in total) was really overwhelmed with the queue of 5-6 people. They told me to wait a few minutes but then forgot about me and gave my order to somebody else. It then happened a second time. In such a situation, it would have been nice to be offered an extra topping to make up for it, considering the prices are rather at the high end. But they still were friendly and apologized, hence 3/5 for service.
The most unpalatable kyurtosh I've ever eaten in my entire life. The kyurtosh was dry, it looked like it was prepared yesterday or many hours ago. The filling was not tasty. In short, we threw it away after three bites. Simply disgusting. Overpriced.
It is good shop for sweet items. Taste is good and product prepared fresh. However, I observed that flies were sitting at the prepared items.

This cafe pride themselves for the crepes they serve. Located in on the main street of Cesky Krumlov, Old Town, it is pretty easy to locate this “Creperie”. We ordered their in-house roasted cup of cappuccino and a flat white that seems to decently enough to pair with hazelnut crepes. The crepes itself was average and probably in sync with the coffee, balancing the bitterness of the over roast with the nutty hazelnut chocolate finishing derived from the crepes. Staffs focal point were targeted on serving customers on a fast turnover rather than quality, experience that supposed to make a child feel the sweet happiness of winter wonderland.
Perhaps better experience can be obtained from winter market, as their delights might give us a good indication of the better quality crepes and coffee that gives this cafe the much needed quality checks.
We bought a trdelnik with ice and caramel, it was 145 krona (6€) which i think is very expensive. However it was tasty and we didn’t regret it. Defined a tourist place but ok. We also didn’t find it anywhere else so i guess they have the Monopol. All in all ok for one time

Apotheka Cafe Bar, located in a former pharmacy, is now a popular craft cocktail bar that offers an extensive and impressive cocktail list. The bar features a long handmade wooden bar where enthusiastic bartenders skillfully concoct delicious drinks. Visitors are encouraged to try the unique cocktails and can even request custom creations based on their preferences. With its historical setting and exceptional drinks, Apotheka Cafe Bar is considered one of the best spots in town for enjoying extraordinary cocktails.
Out of a pure coincidence, we chose to try this bar and thankfully we did because it was perfect. Coctails are carefully crafted with precision, unique blends that create a festive aftertaste.
We first tried Basil Grande and Oak Negroni. Basil grande felt like you are inside a basil garden. The smell takes you to summertime. However the taste is quite different. There’s barely the taste of raw greenness. I’d totally recommend. Oak Negroni was rather sweet, tasteful, small sips with a small stop at the back of the mouth lets you fully explore the layers.
We ordered shepher’s pie to share. It was alright. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. Potato layer was thick, meat was barely there but the food is not our criteria here.
We went on with Chateau Balsam and Rum Old Fashioned. Chateau Balsam is way out of my classical choices but I enjoyed it very much. These creations separate themselves from the classics due to the aftertaste. It is to die for. Same goes for Rum Old Fashioned, too.
Staff were knowledgeable, they answered all of our questions, service was fast. We visited the bar at 15:00 so it was easier to find a spot. Taking photos is prohibited so we first asked the staff whether we could. They were kind enough to let us.
Interior is quaint, old-timey and nicely decorated. Music could be enhanced obviously. It was a nice experience and I’d visit this place again to try seasonal offerings.

Best crafted pinacolada ever, if you like refreshing and candy like style. Also try negroni, and other signature menu quite lovely. There're also some rules though so better read and understand them first. Still really lovely place after long day of Prague. Recommend ❤️

Having stayed in Cesky Krumlov for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoying every single moment, the service and atmosphere have been so wonderful. Tonight we decided to go for a cocktail after dinner . Asked at the bar do they have a menu and the waiter said yes, and stood staring at me. Offered no menu. Anyhow we ordered our cocktails believing perhaps the attitude was one of confidence due to the cocktails being wonderful. That however was not the case. The Almond Cigar was more akin to a watery pear juice and the Old Fashioned was pure alcohol with not an hint of orange!
When leaving from the outside area, heading inside to pay, same waiter waved wildly to indicate we needed to pay.
Empty on a Friday night for a reason. Worst experience in an otherwise wonderful holiday in Cesky Krumlov!

I loved their cocktails. It's small place with a good variety of cocktails. The one with Chardonnay and the classic White Russian were great. A must try for sure. Gave 4 stars as they messed up with one of my orders - served beer instead of a cocktail I ordered. Though, the staff was polite enough to acknowledge and correct the mistake. One suggestion - Staff could be a bit more welcoming, like in other bars of Krumlov.
I wouldn’t bother looking anywhere else for cocktails. These were so bomb! We had a total of 8 different cocktails and 1 shot all were out of this world made with true passion! Unique and delicious, your taste buds will have a party in your mouth!
Absolutely wonderful cocktail bar. We tried a number of cocktails and everything was top notch and the flavours were beautiful! The popcorn one was one of my favourites as well as the pink one without popcorn (in my photos). Both were in the top for sure.
It’s a smaller place and fairly intimate with a nice vibe. Worth checking out.

Kolektiv cafe & wine bar is a charming bistro located outside the city center of Cesky Krumlov, making it a popular spot for breakfast. It's the second time my partner and I came here and it is simply amazing. The first time we came was in march, and now in august. We mostly came back to Cesky Krumlov for this place. We had the eggs benedict both times, and they're probably the best we ever tried. The drinks are also magnificent and I get the feeling they are constantly improving as our drinks were significantly better now than the first time. The prices are also decent. I truly recommend this place.

Lovely café with a modern vibe and excellent selection of desserts. The cakes are not only beautiful but also very tasty — we tried the mushroom-shaped dessert and it was amazing, both in presentation and flavor. Coffee was great too, perfectly balanced and smooth.

Quite possibly the best french toast we have ever had in our lives. It was really good. The duck along with the drinks were great too. Great overall vibe in the place. Nice music, pleasant staff, reasonable prices. We would definitely eat here again. We would also highly recommend this place to others.
One of Best Cafe in Town. We tried the Egg Benedict and Omelette. Very good portion of food and we were full for the rest of the day. Many choices of desserts. The vibe is good. Highly recommended.

Lovely terrace seats with a view of the river. Triple chocolate cake was delicious with layers of texture - one of the best I’ve had from a cafe. It was rich and not excessively sweet. Male server was friendly and spoke excellent English. Only cash is accepted.

Cute and cozy! Visited twice during a weekend visit to Cesky Krumlov. First visit was during the day for coffee and dessert and returned later that evening for the live music and drinks. The service was great despite it being very crowded at both visits. It was also easy to find an empty seat as the crowd turned over quickly. Lots of great art displayed throughout the café makes it very enjoyable to sit and just relax.
The food was amazing and the restaurant owner and staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. It’s a small business and the owner pays close attention to the quality and service of his food which is amazing.
Good cakes and coffee, but the tastes did not surprise me. The service is just average. As far as I am concerned, an overall 4.3 rating is a little bit higher than the fact.

The older bald man was extremely rude. When I received the bill, I realized the total was higher than the cash I had, so I politely asked if I could pay with both cash and card. He sighed and snapped “No!” in a very aggressive manner(지랄함). As a small Asian woman, I felt intimidated. Other than the bald man, the rest of the staff were very kind and polite.

Fantastic experience! The food quality was excellent — fresh, hearty, and full of authentic Czech flavors. But what truly made this place special was the staff. Incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They made us feel right at home, happy to recommend dishes and share a laugh. It’s rare to find a place where the service leaves just as strong an impression as the food. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great local cuisine and genuinely wonderful hospitality!
The service is better than the food. We ended up visiting Don Julius for lunch and dinner because it’s still open beyond 7pm unlike most other restaurants in the area. They serve sauerkraut which helps combat the stodginess of the meal. By no means are the dishes not enjoyable for the palate but I feel the price you pay is a little much for this pub setting. Staff were trained well.

Picked this restaurant based on prior reviews and they had beef goulash which I wanted to try. Bottom line was the goulash was good, my wife's chicken was very good but the surprise was a dessert described as "Bohemian pancakes with blueberry sauce, curd cheese cream and whipped cream" was exceptional. Best desert we have had after a month in Germany, Austria , Hungary and Czech Republic. Service was very good once we were seated but it was a slow night and the small staff took a while to see us. We were among the first to arrive.
Menu was provided fully English, you can pay with card. Food was nice, done quiet fast. Two beer and two main dish was 580. Its cheap. Waiteress was not that nice.

We arrived in bad weather; it was raining and so cold. We also needed to use the restroom. We had a very cosy and comfy time there. We appreciated her kindness and the yummy snacks. We were also glad that they accept credit cards. Some other places nearby seemed to be cash-only.
Food was delicious (we had breakfast there, ham and eggs) and the owner is very sweet. Tailor/seamstress theme; some tables are old sewing machines. Quaint little spot that does not feel touristy at all.

The staff are friendly but...the food is meh. I had the "Kafírna" breakfast (not cheap at CZK 189) and I got an apple pastry, a bread basket, 3 fried eggs, a small glass of orange juice, a mixed salad with some cheese slices and a glass (?!?) of coffee.
The food was served in a strange order. The pastry came first, followed by the bread, juice, eggs, coffee, and then salad (which included the butter for the bread served 15 minutes earlier)
The pastry was OK, the bread was cold and slightly stale, the fried eggs were like, well, fried eggs, the coffee was undrinkable, and the salad was just raw veggies so thankfully fine.
I stayed at the hotel next door which gave me a CZK 100 discount coupon for the place but I didn't use it the next day. That sums it up. Instead, I went to the Monastery Cafe and enjoyed a fine breakfast spread for less money.
Perfect omelette and the home made bread was outstanding. They were super kind and nice and spoke spanish as well. Muchas Gracias.

DELI99 is a charming cafe located on the outskirts of town, offering a variety of delicious sandwiches and beverages. The friendly staff provides great service, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect stop for a quick meal. Customers have raved about the chicken, blue cheese, and cranberry sandwich as well as the vegetable sandwich wrapped to stay warm during a chilly walk. The cappuccino and turkey sandwich with brie are also highly recommended.

I had a coffee and a sandwich.
The sandwich was fresh, tasty and crispy and the waitress was polite and friendly.
It was a welcome stop next to the town gate having rolled my suitcase up lots of cobbled streets.
It was only a couple of minutes from the bus station too, so the perfect spot to stop and catch my breath.
I definitely recommend Hot chocolate! It’s so yummy. Not that sweet, a little bit bitter! So delicious. And the sandwich also good.

Got this vegetable sandwich to eat on my walk back to where I was staying. Tasty sandwich prepared by a friendly young woman. She wrapped it well enough that it stayed warm the entire way through and it was chilly outside!
We bought a sandwich and Chicken Caesar salad for takeaway to eat on the train while returning to Prague. They were both delicious. We were impressed with the quality of ingredients and the care which to proprietor showed in making these items. We enjoyed viewing the art prints and poetry on display in the deli. Thank you.

While some food items like the chorizo sandwich and homemade Camembert were tasty, there's room for improvement in certain dishes like the bacon sandwich.
We had a chance to try their cappuccinos and it was very good. Outdoor seating area is very nice and calming. You have a view of the river. They also have many kinds of sweets which seemed very tasty

After wandering (and kinda waddling) around the castle and making the climb up the tower, we were in serious need of a chill spot to rest our feet—and that’s when we stumbled on Drunken Coffee. Total gem.
Inside is cozy, but the real magic is out in the garden seating. You’re literally sipping your drink while staring straight at the Český Krumlov castle tower. It’s peaceful, quiet, and just far enough off the beaten path that it feels like your own little hideaway.
We went for iced coffee, and it totally hit the spot—super refreshing after all the walking. Honestly, it ended up being one of our favorite little finds in town.
If you're in Český Krumlov and want great coffee, a view to remember, and a relaxing vibe, definitely check this place out. We paid 300 Kč for two drinks (about €12), which felt totally fair for the experience.

On rainy day, this cafe made me happy. The cabbage soup is so tasty! Matcha latte is very dense and authentic. The service is also very good! They have free water and blankets for such a cold day like today! At the back of the cafe, there is a nice place nearby the river for photos!

Ántré is a year-round café located just 200 meters above the Square and near Hotel Ruze. During the summer, guests can enjoy an outdoor terrace with stunning views of the castle and Vltava River while savoring grilled lunch and dinner offerings. The menu may be limited, but the dishes are delicious with surprisingly generous portions. The café's homemade pancakes are a standout specialty, and their ginger lemonade comes highly recommended.

I had 20 czk and I ordered drinks for 75 czk, the exchange rate here is 1 euro=21czk. They required me to pay 3.6 euros while I wanted to spend my 20czk here and the rest of them with euros. She told me no, I don’t really get it😮💨 I can use euros in other countries and czk is only here🫠 To be honest it has great view, just czk is not useful for a tourist😪 Let me spend it, you won’t get any loss. Why not?

Been there twice and met two staff members with two completely different attitudes, so... but overall a rather pleasant experience.
There are not many meal options in the menu (which is to be expected in a cafe) but those that are there are all really delicious and surprisingly big portions too. Also, as for drinks, I really recommend the ginger lemonade, that's something I'll be craving for some time now.

Great coffee, prepared in style. Amazing ceramics that I wish I could have hauled around for the rest of my Europe trip, but common sense prevailed. If this place ever offers shopping online & shipping overseas, I'll be the 1st customer. Delicious homemade blueberry cake, too!

It’s a tiny and warm cafe. It looks like there is no space inside when you look in from outside, but don’t hesitate to go inside. They will create some space for the you for sure.
The owners are so nice and talkative. He even let me taste the wine they were drinking from his own glass😂 We drank one lungo made of Mexican coffee beans and two Barraquito, ate apple cake. They were amazingly tasty! We loved everything there. Definetely suggesting!!

Honestly we didn’t even know it was a coffee shop until we went inside. They also sell many tea and coffee cups. It was a nice spot to sit and relax. I really like their blueberry and plum pie. The owners are super sweet!
I wish I could give 6 stars for service - flawless! Such friendly people too. I wish I could buy their lovely ceramics but simply can't take them with me in my hand luggage. A perfectly prepared coffee will suffice!

Bistro 53 Beer Point in Cesky Krumlov is a centrally located spot with a good selection of beer and delicious small bites. The pickled cheese pairs well with their Zlata Krava beer. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, making it a must-visit when in the city. They offer a great vibe, reasonable prices, and tasty food, along with handsome dogs adding to the friendly atmosphere.
Charming Pub with the most friendly host I have met. Micheal really is sweet, always smiling and happy to serve you some really good beer made locally at Krumlov. Beers and the food are priced very reasonably. Must visit!

Our South Bohemia trip kicked off in Český Krumlov, and our first stop? BeerPoint Bistro 53. Talk about starting strong.
We rolled in hungry and a bit travel-worn, and the place immediately gave off this chill, down-to-earth Czech Bohemian vibe. Super relaxed, super welcoming. The staff were awesome—genuinely friendly without trying too hard, just good vibes all around.
We went for the wrap (because why not), and honestly? Best. Wrap. Ever. The tortilla was soft but held together like a champ, and the filling was fresh, flavorful, and just hit all the right notes. Even the side salad was on point—crisp, crunchy, and full of flavor.
But the fries. Oh man, those fries. Golden, crispy, and totally addictive—we were still munching on them after dessert. Worth coming back for, no joke.
The beer selection was great too, and the whole place just felt like somewhere you'd want to hang out longer than planned. Great food, super chill atmosphere, and really solid prices—lunch for two with drinks came out to 850 Kč (about €34), which felt totally fair for the quality.
BeerPoint Bistro 53 definitely set the tone for the rest of our Český Krumlov trip. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and stop by.

One of the best burgers I've ever had and the best price-quality ratio in the area. All of the other restaurants are around kč 300, but here you can eat in under 200. I recommend ordering just one set for every two people since the portions are so big. Do try their lemonade too!
