Caribbean restaurant
Soul food restaurant
Nestled in the charming VFW hall of Oaks Bluff, Chef Deon's Kitchen is a culinary gem that brings the vibrant flavors of Jamaica and the Caribbean to Martha's Vineyard. Owned by the talented Chef Deon, who has roots in Jamaica and Anguilla, this eatery offers an enticing menu filled with comfort food favorites.
A very funky place with all sorts of nostalgia on the walls. The food is very authentic Caribbean, tasty, can be spicy, and BIG portions. Almost no need for appetizers because most people will take home the leftovers of their main dish. Definitely, we have to go back and try a dozen other dishes.
Sol R — Google review
Chef Deon is a great cook. 👍 I've had his spread on Thanksgiving. He feeds the community free of cost. I recently stopped by and ate with my sister. We enjoyed our food.
Jill D — Google review
I love to pick up picnic food from here! They have awesome hours and are open at days and times where others aren't. Their menu is diverse and have specials changing. Such a locals favorite, and Chef Deon does amazing things for the community.
Lis B — Google review
We got the pineapple glazed ribs (so yummy) which came with collards and corn bread. The collards were lacking flavor and were a bit bitter, and the corn bread has jalapeño bits in it, which would be nice if you like that but I’m not a fan of jalapeño flavor. We got the conch chowder as well which was more like a stew but it was delicious. For dessert the chocolate rum cake, which was rich and boozy (perfect rum cake)
Traci A — Google review
Ordered some food here during the MVAAFF and it was okay (overpriced and kinda bland) but they failed to tell us that there was already food available for festival guests which turned out to be significantly better that the cod fritters I had ordered. The fish was light and flaky, rice was well cooked and seasoned and the chicken was flavorful. Overall the plate saved the rating. The bartender ended up calling last call early cause she got annoyed and yelled at a customer so that was weird, especially for an event. Not sure if I'd return.
Morgan F — Google review
Okay — I'm blown away. Down home genius. Without equal in humility, taste and talent. This Jerk Chicken is a ravenously delicious compulsion. Insane in the membrane! I feel like I just tripped off the boat onto any one of Chef Deon's three islands and landed in a 3 star backyard brilliance. Go get some now in order to recalibrate your mouth, concept and even sense of fealty to this deeply rooted plate of food.

The plantains are soooo amazing. We also got the orange spiced duck and it was great. Crispy skin with a yummy glaze.

Offshore Ale Co is a popular brewery and restaurant located in the heart of Oak Bluffs on Circuit Avenue. They offer a variety of house-brewed seasonal and year-round beers, along with a menu featuring wood-fired pizzas, burgers, and other casual pub grub. It's a great spot to relax with friends and family while enjoying their handcrafted drinks.
We went for an early dinner when it wasn't too busy. Prices were reasonable. Food was excellent!! Great selection of IPAs and other alcoholic drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the experience. Will visit again.
Mary P — Google review
I got the Portuguese Seafood Stew and was so impressed with the broth flavor and the amount of seafood in it! I normally don’t love muscles and there was none of the dark gamey flavor I usually dislike. The beer and cocktail selection was pretty good as well and the old copper beer tanks inside gave the place a historic feel. I would not recommend the red ale, it was a bit thematic with the red food coloring but everything else was great 😂
Jennifer I — Google review
Lively atmosphere with attentive staff. The food was fresh and tasty. The pub is great and has wonderful drinks! Pizzas are good and made to order.
Susan M — Google review
We enjoyed our meal at Offshore Ale Co so much we came back for a second visit during our time in Martha’s Vineyard! Jovana was outstanding and made great drink recommendations and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was inviting and felt like visiting a local spot.
Julie D — Google review
We needed to kill 4 hours before our ferry. It was rainy and gloomy. And somehow we had the best moments of our trip hunkered down at Offshore Ale House enjoying the best bowl of chili we’d ever had, some great beers, delicious ribs and a salad. Great staff, great pub atmosphere, and surprisingly good food.
Pierce C — Google review
We stopped by on our walk around Oak Bluffs. We ate outside on the patio. The fish and chips with Cole slaw and fries were delicious. We.also had some delicious oysters 5 stars.
Allan S — Google review
The food was fresh & delicious! Best fish & chips ever! Great gluten free pizza as well. Our waitress was wonderful.
Julie K — Google review
Really good food, and drinks. My daughter and I had a regular cheese pie, and my wife had the chicken sandwich with bbq sauce, cheese, cole slaw and pickles. Topped off white wine and a drunken pumpkin ale, which consists of pumpkin ale with a shot of creamy vodka with a cinnamon sugar rim. If you're visiting or a local, it's worth a visit.

Restaurant
The Black Dog Tavern is a popular spot located on the Vineyard Haven harborfront, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with both terrace and wood-paneled interior seating. Whether you visit in the summer or winter, this tavern serves classic meals, beer, and cocktails. The menu features favorites like quahog chowder, fish and chips, chicken potpie, clams casino, grilled swordfish, bacon-wrapped meatloaf, and lobster night on Fridays.
My daughter and I really enjoyed dining here after lots of walking on the Vineyard. We loved the New England, tavern-style ambience and the delightful view of the ships on the harbor. We decided to get the mac and cheese and found it to be incredibly delicious—comfort food after a long day of sight-seeing, what a treat! I would say there is limited seating (more tables for 2 or 4) and I would imagine it’s very busy in the summer months, but we were off-season so we got a table immediately. Thanks again for a great experience!
Ashley J — Google review
I brought my family here for lunch for nostalgia as they’d never been & have heard me speak of the Black Dog for many years. Unfortunately it was during the 1st heat wave of the year. Hoping to catch some relief from the heat when we went inside, we were very disappointed to find they had all the windows open and no air conditioning on. I was literally sweating from head to toe. No breeze today. Not even a fan for some relief for those sitting by the opened windows. The waitress was very polite and professional. Her speed was appreciated. We ordered the Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken, the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, and they special-made a Grilled Cheese sandwich. The food was served in small portion size. The shrimp pasta was a bit spicy for my hubby, but he did eat the whole thing. I would have liked more greens on my plate but it was delicious. My daughter thought the Grilled cheese and sides were delicious. We found we were still hungry only a couple hours afterwards. I believe they’re overpriced for what we received; mainly paying for the brand rather than the food. We probably won’t be returning and really don’t recommend if you’re really hungry.
Vicky P — Google review
Huge portions, great views, very cool vibe inside. It’s an iconic brand. The food was amazing as well. We had breakfast. Possibly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. If not, top two. Huge portions for the price. Great flavors too! Service was excellent. Go early!!!! We were there on off season and was packed after 8am. Not a lot of parking either. Must be a mad house in the busy season.
Charlie M — Google review
Tried to stop in around noon and were told they were only serving a “mezze” menu and lunch started at 12:30 which was confusingly communicated by the hostess and in an unfriendly way. Not to worry though We grabbed some snacks, coffee, and shopped a bit at all the other Black Dog spots until we were able to be seated at 12:30 with a bunch of other families who were all also waiting to eat. Atmosphere inside is great and you can’t beat the nostalgia factor. Crab spinach and artichoke dip was incredibly good. The lobster rolls were the best we’ve had yet in the Cape Cod area (although the coleslaw left something to be desired). Caesar salad was pretty standard and the crab cakes were just ok. The sauce and corn was good but the crab cakes were too thin and too fried for my taste. The presentation also could use some work. Other than the service not being the greatest and the unkind hostess, we had a lovely time with beautiful views and tasty food!
Sarah R — Google review
We go every time we're on the Vineyard, and it's hard to beat for its food, location and atmosphere. very good clam chowder, and the fried calamari with a garlic butter dipping sauce was delicious. (I was halfway through when I decided to take a photo.)
Thano S — Google review
Soup looked delicious and the calamari was great. Loved the fried peppers mixed through it. The fish & chips were okay. Our server was amazing and you can’t beat eating basically on the water.

We had a great meal here. Food was excellent, better than expected and the service was good too. Bit pricey but that was expected.
Audrie V — Google review
Outstanding crab/spinach/artichoke dip. The clam chowder was also very tasty. Service was a bit on the slow side. The merchandise shops didn't have a T-shirt or polo in my size, so I went without. All I got was blank looks when I asked them to call a taxi to get back to the ferry.

The Barn Bowl & Bistro is a lively establishment featuring a bar and eatery with a variety of food options such as burgers, pizza, and other bites. In addition to the dining experience, patrons can enjoy games, watch TV, and make use of the 10-lane bowling alley. Located in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard Island, it is known for its fun atmosphere and diverse menu offerings.
I picked this place since it seemed like a good sit-down restaurant in Oak Bluffs. Honestly, I was expecting bowling alley food because of the bowling alley, but it was quite nice! The servers were kind and one with lots of humor lol. I got the shrimp linguni and it was good, I just prefer my sauce a bit more creamy. Good place for the family.

The restaurant just isn’t good. Don’t let the interesting and large menu fool you like it did us. Go bowl, go drink and watch games but the suck service coupled with bowling alley food is not a good combo.

Interesting place. A full sized bowling alley (6ish lanes) and a nice little restaurant. We sat at the bartop for our steak & eggs brunch. The bartender was friendly not but overly engaging. Watching her and the other waitstaff their teamwork made for efficient service. When we were brought our meal and I set my eyes on the steak, I was a little concerned about the quality. It looked like something that would be served from one of the American chain restaurants (Chili's, Applebees, etc.). I was

Absolutely amazing food! We came back twice … ceviche unbelievable taste and value, fig and prosciutto pizza, apple crisp - super yummy. Brown sugar steak tips and braised lamb shank the next time - so wonderful we couldn’t order a pizza to take home as planned. Great place with lots of locals and bartenders that can make drinks not on the menu!

our server Kristina was great. she was very helpful with suggesting entrées and appetizers and made sure that we knew we were getting a bang for our buck. The portions were large and we were able to share everything between the four of us. We even had to take some food home. great atmosphere, and is very family friendly. the bowling alley is right next to the restaurant/bar so if you bring your kids, it’s a great place for them to go play or to bowl with friends.

The Seafood Shanty in Edgartown offers a fish-focused menu served in a casual dining room or on an expansive deck, with the added bonus of DJs some nights. Families can enjoy outdoor seating on the deck with a beautiful view of Edgartown Harbor and Chappy in the distance. The restaurant's location right on the harbor, huge selection of local seafood, and wonderful atmosphere make it appealing for both adults and kids. On rainy days, there is ample indoor seating available as well.
This restaurant is a great spot to watch the boats and ferry to Chappy. We started out with a berry lemonade drink which was very refreshing and delicious. We had the lobster dip app which came with warm pita chips. The dip itself was loaded with fresh lobster and was mouth watering spectacular. I ordered lobster roll in butter accompanied with fries. The lobster was sweet and tender as it should be. It was heavenly good. Our waitress was smiling, friendly and just an all around great waitress. She checked back with us often and we appreciated her efforts.
Steven B — Google review
Arrived at 6:00 pm on a cloudy Wednesday evening and were seated upstairs in the open air seating. Wonderful views over the harbor and you can watch the Chappy ferry on its constant back and forth journey. Service was good. The lobster roll was served with fries and had lots of chunk lobster – seemed to be a good value. The Clam Chowder had a good flavor and was very creamy. The fried shrimp platter was okay, but seemed a bit overpriced for the amount of shrimp. The winner was the lobster dip appetizer, served with lots of crispy pita bread. We also loved the Ocean Berry Booze cocktail. Would go back for the dip, cocktail and the great views. Outside seating was very full when we left around 7:30 pm.
Scott S — Google review
I’m not sure why the reviews are poor. The service is good. The large deck offers nice views. The food is pretty solid for a place that it doesn’t have to be. We ordered raw oysters 3.5/5 (small), shrimp cocktail 4/5, Caesar salad 4/5, warm buttered lobster roll 4/5, PAN ROASTED MISO SALMON 5/5, and Boston cream pie 3/5 (dry). Good beer, wine, and cocktail options.
Ron R — Google review
A perfect experience. I couldn't ask for anything to be better. Our server, Elizabeth, was excellent and gave us great recommendations for food on the menu and places on the island! She was also amazing about my food restrictions. The drinks were delicious, the views are beautiful, the music was great, the food was amazing and came out so quickly. I honestly have waited longer for Taco Bell then we waited for our food. I was shocked when it came out and was worried maybe it wouldn't be good but I was so wrong. This may be one of the best places I've been.
Brit H — Google review
Very nice place, if you catch a good weather and get a seat outside, the view is incredible. The food was good, not amazing. A little bit over priced but still worth the experience.
Meydad F — Google review
Had a good lunch at this place. We enjoyed the stuffed quahog, lobster and shrimp tacos, the food was tasty. Service was also very friendly. Lovely place to sit overlooking the water. Lobster well priced.
D L — Google review
Great food, great service and great location. Enjoyed the lobster roll and the fisherman's platter. Loved it so much we went twice in the same week!
John G — Google review
The location especially outdoors on the top level is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Had the fish and chips. Only came with one fish which is not a lot for the price. The fries were seasoned well and cripsy; very good. Sadly the fish was subpar. The meat was good but the batter was soggy and chewy. Couldn't get a clean cut and basically just ate the meat inside. All that was left was the rubbery batter that stayed together like a skin. Would prefer it to be more crunchy.

Back Door Donuts is a popular spot on Martha's Vineyard, MA, known for its freshly baked pastries. The bakery operates as a speakeasy-like venue at night, offering just-baked donuts from 7:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. during the summer season. Locals and visitors alike line up for these delicious treats, especially the substantial apple fritters that are particularly satisfying in the evening hours.
"Back Door" is where you have to go to get your donut from 7pm-12am. During the day (8 am-2 pm), you go to the front door. We were there before 7 pm, and a line started to form. They opened the back door and started taking orders. Apple Fritter ($8.43) is delicious and big enough for two. Cinnamon Roll ($6.36). Other donuts range between $2.50 & $4.00 and they're all hot & delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Abi M — Google review
Worst donuts I have ever eaten. The apple fritter was just ok better than the donuts. Coffee too was below average. Selling donuts from the backdoor is just a selling gimmick. Must say good strategy to sell very underrated donuts
Samina Q — Google review
Walked here for a late night donut craving. Luckily the line was short but they were out several of the most popular flavors, although they still had apple fritters. This spot is literally operated out of the back door of the business, inside of the parking lot. It's nothing fancy but it's definitely a cool vibe and a novel idea. Flavors we tried: Honey dipped, cinnamon, buttermilk and the infamous apple fritter. The honey dipped tasted like a regular glazed donut - nothing unique. The cinnamon was good, and so was the buttermilk. The apple fritter received good reviews. I plan to return to try other flavors. Overall everything was good and I recommend this place.

Fresh, Fun, and Delicious! We stopped by Backdoor Donuts one morning to try them fresh, and it was absolutely worth it. We ordered a dozen donuts to get a good variety, plus added two apple fritters and a danish to round things out. Every bite was tasty, soft, and flavorful, but the apple fritters really stood out—warm, perfectly spiced, and generously portioned. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and you can really tell these are made fresh with care. Whether you’re looking for a sweet morning treat or just want to experience a Martha’s Vineyard staple, this is a spot not to miss. We’ll definitely be back for more fritters and donuts next time!

Marthas Vineyard Chowder Company is a popular restaurant in Oak Bluffs, MA, known for its casual and airy atmosphere. It has gained fame for its award-winning chowder, which is loaded with clams and has been voted the best in New England. The menu also features a variety of seafood dishes like seared jumbo scallops and lobster salad, as well as non-seafood options such as steaks and burgers.
Our dining experience at Martha’s Vineyard Chowder Company was outstanding! The Mansion House Roll, crafted by Chef John, was a highlight—spicy lobster, mango, and a delightful crunch topped with fresh avocado and tobiko, creating an amazing flavor combination. Our server, Jeff, was attentive and made us feel truly welcome. Alessandro, the bartender, prepared the best espresso martinis we’ve ever had—perfectly balanced and a great complement to our meal. Highly recommend this spot for exceptional food and top-notch service!
Harold F — Google review
The Best Clam Chowder on the Island! We originally stopped into Martha’s Vineyard Chowder Company midday just to try their famous clam chowder—and wow, am I glad we did! When we arrived, the outdoor seating area was packed. They had only one or two high-top tables available outside, and while the indoor dining area isn’t huge, it definitely offers more seating than the outside area. The bar, however, is a good size, and we were lucky enough to find two open seats there while we waited for our to-go order. That ended up being the perfect choice. The bar was lively and welcoming, with great energy, and we decided to order two cocktails while we waited. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Before long, our chowder arrived—and even though it was meant to be “to-go,” we couldn’t resist enjoying it right there at the bar. The chowder was absolutely delicious—rich and flavorful without being overbearingly creamy, perfectly balanced, and loaded with fresh flavor. Honestly, I wish we had ordered more right then and there. Now, I have to admit—the photo I took of the to-go chowder is not the most appealing food photo I’ve ever taken (lol). But don’t let that fool you—it was still every bit as amazing as I’ve described. This was one of the food experiences on our Vineyard bucket list, and it completely lived up to the hype. We’ll definitely be back for a full sit-down meal and another big, steaming bowl of that chowder. Chef’s kiss—highly recommend!
Tisha B — Google review
Always great food. Truly best chowder in our opinion, the lobster bisque is delicious and very buttery as well. Love the south beach cocktail. Our server Igor was incredibly friendly and truly topped off our experience as wonderful! An island vacation staple!

04.11.2025 We had a great time here! A comfortable atmosphere and great service from our waiter, Egor. The crab rangoon was definitely tasty and fresh! The cod was cooked perfectly and wasn't bland. The piña colada martini was really good! Event my friend had to order one lol.

This is our go to place when we visit Martha’s Vineyard the food and service is always amazing. I’ve had lobster rolls from many different places and my wife and kids agree that this is the best lobster rolls we ever had. Lobster is always fresh and they don’t skimp out on the quantity. That roll is stacked! 😋
Gabriel P — Google review
Cannot recommend the lobster rolls here. Meat isn’t the best cuts and not fresh. We also found shells in it. The roll is also drenched in butter. I prefer when places give you butter on the side to add to taste. I would stick to the chowder, which is what this place specializes in.
Meera B — Google review
The food was really good. We set immediately but it took a very long time to receive the food. However, the food did not disappoint. The lobster roll is hands down THE BEST!

Linda Jean's Restaurant, a beloved establishment since 1976, is a go-to spot for home-style American cuisine and seafood in Martha's Vineyard. Known for its fast and friendly service, the restaurant has been a local favorite for many years.
I ate here three times for breakfast while on the island. If I had discovered this place sooner, I would have eaten here every day. The fact that they have perfected the art of getting the pancakes to your table while they are piping hot deserves 5 stars. The pancakes are also so good! They remind me of what IHOP used to be when I was growing up. Ask for maple syrup if you prefer that. I wish I lived closer to this spot because it would be my local favorite ❤️.

We stopped in for breakfast and it was bustling inside even though it was off season. Hubby ordered bacon scrambled eggs and gluten free toast. I ordered the breakfast scrambler with American cheese instead of provolone cheese and a grilled English muffin. It was a cute little downtown location and the servers all work together to take care of customers. The food was good and came out really quick. We are glad we stopped in.

Looks like a local favorite. Friendly servers and customers. Fish and chips with side of slaw was a reasonable $18. Bottomless coffee/tea $3 more. The cod was hot and flaky, excellent. Quite busy during meal time

We had a memorable dinner here last weekend. The food was excellent; Kay (our server) was professional, thorough, efficient, charmingly funny, and warm; the setting is quaint; and we were happy to support a Black-owned business. We shared the Buffalo chicken spring rolls (surprisingly good), and each had a side Caesar salad and fish and chips. The fish and chips were a very large portion that we couldn’t finish after the spring rolls and side salads. We took the leftovers home and ate them the next day and it was still delicious.

Looking for a quiet, intimate spot for breakfast, lunch, or early dinner? Linda Jean's is NOT it. But if you're looking for an outstanding home style meal, there is no better place to go than Linda Jean's in Oak Bluffs. I had the 3 piece fried chicken plate, with a generous helping of cole slaw and mashed potatoes smothered in brown gravy: superb! My other half had the fried chicken sandwich and fries: equally tasty. Two BIG lunchtime meals and 2 bottomless sodas, came to just under $60 with tip. But we won't need a big dinner after this meal. The best fried chicken we've had in years!

I patronized this business on October 30th around 6:30pm. When I arrived, I immediately was greeted with lackluster customer service - from the host and especially from my waitress (throughout the night she kept asking did I want a to go box). I ordered the fish cakes for appetizer- it was good. I ordered the oxtails with rice and beans and cabbage - it was not good. When it came out, it looked overcooked. The meat was tender, but the taste was awful - the food had no flavor and the meat had a funny taste to it - like it was cleaned with dishwashing soap. I could not eat it. I then just ordered the sweet potato cheesecake- that was good. Well, apparently what I did eat of the oxtails gave me food poisoning. Around midnight that night I was vomiting off and on the food til that morning with diarrhea! I can not nor will I visit that establishment again!

Good service. We came for brunch. Atmosphere is casual. Right in the heart and center of Oak Bluffs Main center. I had the eggs Benedict. It was good and they poached the eggs perfectly. Husband had the egg whites mixed with vegetables and it was good as well.

Lookout Tavern in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts is a popular waterfront spot offering a variety of seafood dishes, burgers, and creative cocktails. It's known for its picturesque views overlooking the ocean and provides sidewalk and patio seating for guests to soak up the atmosphere. The menu features must-try items such as toasted lobster rolls, fried seafood, raw bar options, and fresh sushi. Additionally, visitors can enjoy refreshing rum punch and margaritas while taking in the stunning vistas.
Lookout Tavern in Martha's Vineyard is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, it was clear why this place is so popular – it was absolutely packed, a sure sign of a fantastic establishment. We were quoted a 45-minute wait, but to our pleasant surprise, it ended up being much shorter, which was a great start to the evening. Once seated, the service was great, attentive despite the bustling atmosphere, making us feel well taken care of. And the food? Exceptional! Every dish was prepared with care, fresh, and bursting with flavor. It's the kind of meal that makes you want to linger and savor every bite. Adding to the overall magic was the beautiful view. Overlooking the water, it provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Between the lively atmosphere, the fantastic service, the incredible food, and the stunning scenery, we absolutely loved this place. Lookout Tavern is a must-visit on Martha's Vineyard!

Perfect Kickoff to Our Martha’s Vineyard Stay Lookout Tavern was the very first restaurant we visited when we arrived on the island, and it set the tone for a fantastic trip. Our party of six enjoyed a total of four (maybe five!) warm lobster rolls, one shrimp platter, four rum punches, and one or two lemonades—and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The lobster rolls were especially memorable—tender lobster meat, perfectly seasoned, and served warm. Before our meals arrived, we shared calamari and fried oysters as appetizers, and both were absolutely delicious—crispy, well-seasoned, and the perfect way to start the meal. When we arrived, we were told the wait might be around 30 minutes, but in reality, it was only about 10. That gave us just enough time to take a quick walk across the pier and enjoy the view before being seated. We were placed at a comfortable picnic table with a great view of the lively scene around us—people enjoying good food, great weather, and relaxed island vibes. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the overall atmosphere made for the perfect kickoff to our stay on the Vineyard. We will absolutely be back on our next visit—especially for those lobster rolls!

This place was absolutely worth the wait! It was packed when we arrived, so be ready to wait a bit, but trust me, it’s worth it. The Reuben was one of the best we’ve ever had, and the homemade chips were perfectly crisp and delicious. The California roll was fresh and tasty, and the spider roll was good too. The shrimp dumplings weren’t our favorite and tasted a bit frozen, but everything else more than made up for it. The Cobb salad was a great portion and very flavorful, and the red ale was cold, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, amazing food and great service, definitely recommend!

Jumbo Tavern Lobster roll and Texas Burger. This was my first ever lobster roll and I loved it. It was such a large portion I thought I would never finish it, I was wrong, I ate ever last bite and the fries along with it! The hubby enjoyed his burger and fries also. We sat at the bar with a view of the water. Service was excellent. The bartender recommended which lobster roll to get and I am so happy with the choice. Drinks: Tito’s & lemonade and the hubby got a local IPA.🍺 Clean bathrooms.

This lunch spot was fantastic! We were looking for a place to eat that was pet-friendly, and this restaurant exceeded our expectations. As soon as we sat down, they brought out water for us and our two dogs, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was just as great as the service. I had the lobster roll, which was absolutely delicious. My partner loved the fish tacos, and my youngest had the creamy, rich lobster mac and cheese. My oldest and our pups both had burgers and were happy campers. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. It’s hard to find a spot that caters to the whole family—including the furry members—so this place is a real gem. We'll definitely be back!

Fabulous sports bar with a lively atmosphere, great drinks, tasty food, and wonderful staff. The clam chowder soup was hot and terrific, fried clams and French fries was a hit. Sushi was amazing, so fresh, tasty, and delicious. Service was excellent and fast despite how busy it was. It was worth the wait!

Servers were awesome, held it down on an extremely busy day. Food was okay, got lobster roll and fried big clams, lobster quality was variable but not bad. Clams were decent. It’s very busy at high season, packed and loud. Drinks were excellent. Painkiller’s were phenomenal. If you want a rowdy bar with bomb drinks and okay food, should consider.

A fun place full of people. The food is average but good. Fish and chips were solid, lobster roll a thumbs up with homemade potato chips! Drinks were good. It was hot and crowded so get some fresh air and sit near or on the deck. Make reservations. A tourist trap for sure but good. It's worth eating there. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya.

Cute breakfast/lunch spot in Edgartown. Ordered at the outside window and waiting around 5-10 minutes for my order to be ready. I had the morning breakfast bowl which was good but $15 for a Greek yogurt and granola bowl with fruit is a little cray. Granola was also more akin to a shredded wheat cereal than a traditional granola. Would try again but would probably not get the yogurt bowl.

It’s a cute cafe. It’s a perfect place to enjoy breakfast on their patio if the weather cooperates. Coupled with the fact that they aren’t that many competent breakfast eateries nearby, this cafe naturally becomes the best breakfast cafe. Service can be excruciatingly slow at times, but it’s pretty norm for the island. Menu is somewhat extensive, but I find their quiche to be most outstanding.

Such a great find for lunch! There was no waiting for a table. The service was great. The food was plentiful and delicious. And the beer was cold.

Came on a Friday night around 8 pm with a large group and sat inside. Service through the evening was fine but not great. We ordered a round of espresso martinis to start and I would really not recommend them. For dinner I ordered the cauliflower curry but the waiter came back a few minutes later to say that they didn’t have it so I had to pivot. I ended up ordering the bistro salad with chicken. Chicken was good but the salad was for sure not worth ordering. Chick pot pie leaned too soupy, but the wings and pretzel were pretty good.
Maggie J — Google review
Nice pub for having a pint. You even get a wooden nickel for each one you drink. Had the shrimp Po boy and it was very flavorful. The French fries were also good. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I noticed on the bottom of the menu that there is a 3% surcharge on the bill to help top up wages for the staff. You could opt out of this if you wanted. This is so great and I am totally for it. ALL staff should get a living wage so that you don't have to rely on tips.

Dark old school pub atmosphere. The service is spotty. We were charged for something we did order. The food is pretty good. We ordered chicken pot pie 5/5 and bangers and mash 3.5/5.

A solidly good experience today. Our party of three stopped for lunch and were promptly seated. We sat near the bar and were attended to by the bartender who did a great job. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which came with toast points. Absolutely the best we have ever had! There were nice tender pieces of artichoke (not just the leaves) and perfect amount of spinach. The taste was just great. My mom had chicken pot pie which was a generous portion served in a small cast iron dish. The temperature was perfect and not hot molten lava that doesn’t cool for 15 mins while you watch everyone else eat and you keep burning your mouth. Good ratio of chicken and veggies and nice crisp flavorful crust. My dad had the prime rib sandwich and had enough to bring home for supper. Good flavor to the meat and the au jus dipping sauce was seasoned nicely. He was surprised at just had good the fries were -not your typical cut fries but had so much more flavor. I had the lobster roll which had a good price and a decent amount of lobster on a nicely grilled roll which resembled a hot dog roll but more texture and flavor. All around a very enjoyable lunch!

This place is really cool. I had chowder and fish & chips. Chowder was really good, but the fish & chips were, by far, the best I've ever had. The scene is low key, but really nice. I went out 3 times, porthunter, the Atlantic, and News. News wins all day every day in my book!
Chris W — Google review
Oh how the mighty have fallen. The news was the place to go in Edgartown since it opened in 1993. I have probably been here 40 plus times over the past 32 years and I have a bucket full of wooden nickels to prove it. But since the new owners took over last year it’s a total disappointment, to say the least. Food is WAY over priced, and bland, service is terrible. If you ask for a glass of water they bring you a bottle of Saratoga and charge you 8 bucks. You have to ask separately for ice. The air conditioning is barely working, and the server said it’s been that way and they are in no hurry to get it fixed. On top of everything else they now charge a 4 percent kitchen appreciation tip which is not part of the tip you leave. The hostess at the front was busy on her phone and was totally rude and unprofessional. She would be more suited working at a bowling alley, So for a Cesar salad, Mac and cheese, cheese burger, chicken sandwich and a pretzel it was 175 bucks !!! Even for the vineyard that is pricey. The food was basically what you would get at a TGIF’s. No alcohol by the way. Trust me, I’ve been going here every year since 1993, take your money elsewhere like the wharf, seafood shanty, or the Atlantic. I wish I did. You can thank me later.

ArtCliff is always busy and always worth the wait!! I love the renovations they did and the food is always delicious 😋. This last visit we split the chicken and waffles and the corned beef hash and both were perfection!! I've had wonderful servers everytime I've visited! Can't wait to go back 😍

What a great surprise to discover this place. Other visits of mine were when they were closed for whatever reason, but what a pleasant experience. The meals coming out of the kitchen made my decision-making so much harder. Seeing so many great dishes left me wanting one of everything. So, maybe I didn’t order the healthiest of breakfasts, but it was certainly delicious. What’s vacation for?

Popped in here on an early Sunday afternoon. Went to the breakfast bar. Was quickly greeted and brought back my mimosa. The food (corned beef hash with fried eggs) came out quick and hot. No complaints about this place and will definitely return.

Stellar menu and everything was prepared beautifully. We had the potato pancakes, coconut strawberry scone and Veggie Frittata. The scone was lightly grilled in butter and served with whipped butter and a fresh sliced strawberry. The potato pancakes were also perfectly crispy and drizzled with chives and served with sour cream and savory apple butter spread. And lastly my frittata was chock full of flavorful vegetables. No ketchup or hot sauce needed!! Only gripe is that we ended up wishing for water all morning but the staff was so swamped, the tables got very little attention from waiters. We will definitely be back next time we're at the vineyard.

The best breakfast place on the island - no questions asked. Visited this little gem a couple of times this year and I cannot wait to go back. I had the spicy pulled pork hash which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My wife opted for the avacado toast with sunnies which she shared with me. The kids loved their pancakes, and we also shared the bluberry SCONES which were a special of the day and they were, as you guess it, out of this world. Great Little Gem that I wish I could take home with me. Thanks G!

It also operates a local cafe near the harbor where visitors can enjoy a variety of fresh seafood dishes such as crab cakes, stuffed quahog, shrimp, mussels, clams, tuna, scallops, and lobster. Additionally, the cafe offers salads, soups, sandwiches and an extensive selection of freshly made sushi and sashimi.

The flounder sandwich is wonderful. The fish is fresh and perfectly fried lightly and then stuffed into the bun. All the fried foods are fresh and delicious. The seafood is amazing too. The real stars are the ready to go soups and items that are made in house and stock the shelves. The lobster bisque is fantastic. A sandwich, lobster bisque, and the gorgeous sunsets is all anyone really needs. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR excellent fried and fresh seafood

We had a lunch here in the Net Result and really enjoyed it. It actually is a shop too but you can buy food inside or at the windows and have it on the table outside. Fairly priced so we were positively surprised as MV can be really expensive. This place comes highly recommended from us!

Fresh seafood market that also has cooked food to order. No inside seating, but several picnic tables with umbrellas outside to sit at or do take-away. We got an order of the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos. Each order comes with two tacos – very fully filled. Wonderful sauce and toppings (contained corn, peppers, tomatoes, onions, black beans – be aware if you don’t like all those type of things) on both. Shrimp and fish were fresh and were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Good value for Vineyard Haven.

Love it. Fresh and one of the best deals on the island. The fish dog is soooo good. Haddock on a toasted hot dog bun. Just yummy! We've had many meals here. Great staff too!

I give this place a 1. Been living on cape cod my whole life. I don't think I have been to one seafood place that looks at you like you have 5 heads when you ask for butter for the stuffed quahog. Everyone was just standing around and look at you or staring off into space. They had the new girl doing all the work and when she asked for help the person she asked just stood there and did nothing. The quahog was bland with no flavor, all stuffing. Worse I've had. Seems like it's froze from a warehouse. Definitely not a cape cod quahog. Not worth the money at all.
Jonathan P — Google review
Half of the clams in the steamer bag were unopened and clearly not safe to eat. The handful of clams that safely opened after steaming had an off color. The inside market area has a funky smell, not confidence inducing when eating seafood. My cousin said his fish & chips were the worst he has ever had. The staff also rolls their eyes if you ask for extra sauces or have questions. I would avoid this place like the plague.

The entire week on Island and all I needed that I really didn’t know I need was The net Result. Honestly….if I just went here everyday I would have been a happy camper. After doing endless research on where to get the best lobster roll, The Net Result was never the top of the list, but it made the cut. Why did it make the cut? Because they have everything you ever need…..Sushi, rolls, wraps, fries, fresh seafood. Salads. Seaweed salads, kimchi, you name it this PLACE HAS IT. And they are damn good. We got two lobster rolls, one butter one Mayo. Also got seaweed salad, spicy salmon sushi and a chipotle shrimp wrap. All were mouth watering and I wish I didn’t go on the last day cause I’d do it again and again. The chipotle shrimp wrap was honestly better then the lobster roll….sorry not sorry. Thank you for the amazing food!

Can't say enough good things about the biscuit breakfast sandwich. I ordered takeout on a whim and received a sandwich to make McDonald's weep. Not too dry, not too fragile. Swung by early evening without a reservation and the staff very kindly found a way to make us fit a bit later on even though reservations were full. They were even able to squeeze us in within the hour we were hoping for. When we arrived, they proactively provided a menu for dietary restrictions, noting they had seen it in my Resy profile. Might seem minor, but this level of hospitality/service is no small gesture to me. Restaurant had a lively, casual vibe during dinner. A DJ started playing a bit later on which was really fun. Great experience all around!!

Best meal we have enjoyed while on the island! Oysters Rockefeller, whole fluke were both perfection. My wife had vegan tacos and brussel sprouts which she enjoyed. They prepared a kids meal for our toddler which was a big hit. Cocktails were also done well Our server, Molly, was not only skilled in her craft, she was a pleasure with a pleasant attitude. Maggie (hope I got her name right) was also very welcoming and accommodating. Wish we went here on our first night in town! Final thought, dine here for an exceptional meal and treat all staff with the respect they deserve.

Had to eat here twice on our time on the island because we wanted our last dinner to be just as good as our first! 10/10 food. Everything we tried was incredible. Tried the two specials. Scallops and fluke as well as the corn side. Preparation was great, flavor wasn’t lacking. All dishes were 10/10. The second night my fluke specifically lacked as much sauce as I had the first but it was still very flavorful (posted both pictures and realized how much bigger the second fish was to the first night 😅) . The portions for the fluke are HUGE. You will not be disappointed eating here.

The service is stellar. The ambiance is upscale yet comfortable. The food is not quite as good. We ordered raw oysters 4/5, fried calamari with banana peppers 3/5 (more calamari less banana peppers, even though the peppers was the tastiest part), chicken sandwich 5/5, and catch of the day scallops with risotto 4/5, and Dubai cheese cake 3/5. Good cocktail, beer, and wine choices.

I never write reviews, but I have truly never met a ruder staff that dislikes their jobs or their guests more. It’s a horrible reflection of Martha’s Vineyard hospitality and if I were the owner or manager I’d be taking a serious look at who was representing my establishment. Out of all the places you could go on the island, this would definitely not be a place I or any friends of mine would recommend. And we will absolutely be telling this to others. I highly recommend you take a good look at your staff and reevaluate.

Great experience. I’m vegan and they provided me with many options (which aren’t all listed on the menu - so feel free to ask). They ran out of high chairs, and made the effort to go across the street to their sister restaurant to get one for our daughter. Service was excellent and food was delicious. 10/10

This place is clearly very popular because there was a queue outside the restaurant before it opened for 5:30 p.m. dinner service on a very rainy Saturday night. Once open, the restaurant quickly filled up with diners. Tables tend to be closer together because of how busy it gets, and there are a lot of hard surfaces, meaning things can get a little loud. Service was the right level of attentive: staff were very friendly and they were good about clearing plates and utensils when it’s clear diners are done eating. The daily fish specials are posted on a chalkboard inside. Overall, the food was very good. The buffalo brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese were very good but for $18? Feels steep. My husband enjoyed his tuna, which was served like an elevated poke bowl and had Asian influences. I got the seared cut cod special, and enjoyed the sweet corn and mushroom risotto that came on the side: it was appropriately warm and cozy feeling for the rainy day, and brightened by the bursts of sweet freshness from the corn.

Espresso Love is a charming café located in Edgartown, MA, offering a wide variety of homemade pastries, sandwiches, and gourmet coffee. Tucked away behind the courthouse, it provides a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to relax and indulge in delicious treats. The café is known for its popular blueberry scones and hearty breakfast sandwiches that keep patrons satisfied well into the day.
This spot is a gem. Fantastic Coffee, Matcha Latte and food is seriously underrated. The bowls and sandwiches are all really tasty and nutritious also. Today’s specials included a warm edamame and quinoa bowl with kimchi, shredded carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and avocado. Service is exceptional - John Ivan and Chantelle were all amazing 11+ out of 10

Stopped by one a Sunday 20 min before they closed at 4 pm. The young lady made the patrons very aware they had to go because she “had to close”. I got the lemon bar, which was very good and was undecided between two specials on the outside board the pumpkin chai latte with caramel or the cinnamon lavender latte. The young lady, taking my order, suggested the pumpkin because it was seasonal whereas the cinnamon lavender they have all year. So I went with that.

Espresso Love is exactly the kind of charming coffee shop you’d expect to see in a movie or TV show. After a lot of walking and a big seafood meal at Atlantic Fish & Chop House, it was the perfect pick me up. It’s friendly, cozy, and full of character, from the delicious pastries and cookies to the local newspaper you can pick up with your order. The garden patio provides a beautiful outdoor setting just steps from the heart of Edgartown, making it a great spot to sit back and relax. Whether you’re craving something sweet or just need a caffeine boost to keep exploring, this is the place to go. If you’re in town for the day or spending the weekend, do yourself a favor and start your morning here.

We absolutely loved Espresso Love during our trip to Martha’s Vineyard! We ended up coming here almost every day of our 6-day stay. We were staying in Edgartown and made it a morning ritual to walk over for a fresh scone (they rotate flavors daily!) and an iced tea and matcha. The online ordering option was super convenient, especially on busy mornings when the line was long. There’s also a great back patio with plenty of seating — perfect for enjoying breakfast outside. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re on the island!

Lovely outdoor seating area. Welcoming staff. Good selection of sandwiches and pastries. Centrally located in town. I had the peach vegan scone which was yummy. Coffee was ok. Just under $11 plus tip for a coffee and scone.

I hope Vika and everyone are doing wonderfully. I truly love this place — the last time I visited was in 2018, but it still feels like yesterday. I still miss the delicious cookies, sandwiches, and coffee! I hope to come back soon with my family. Wishing you all the very best and sending lots of warm memories your way.

A hidden gem! Their sandwiches were delicious and the seating area was adorable- with complimentary water as well. After a long bike trip exploring the island, this was definitely the go-to place!

Rockfish is a cozy restaurant and bar located in downtown Edgartown, offering a bi-level space with exposed-brick walls. The ground floor features a bustling bar with TVs, while the upper level provides a more intimate setting. The menu boasts wood-fired flatbreads, American bites, burgers, pizza, seafood rolls, and specials like asparagus risotto and chicken pot pie.
This place was so great we went twice on our visit to the Vineyard!! We had the same bartender both times. He was fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and the bar area is lively. The first night they had the game on and boy do people in Boston take their sport serious! So much fun watching them cheer their team on!
Carman C — Google review
Very relaxed atmosphere. Quick service. Lobster roll was incredible- worth the money. Truffle Risotto Balls were very truffle-y, and the mashed potatoes that they were served on were cold. Prosciutto and Arugula pizza would have been better if it had shaved Parmesan on top to finish it off and a little crispier. Drinks were delicious- Aviation and Espresso Martini. Would recommend if you’re in town for a date night. I’d say it’s expensive, but what isn’t expensive these days. I would come back.
Anne G — Google review
The good: The atmosphere is nice, servers were friendly and attentive, and those at the table who ordered seafood were reasonably happy with their meals. The bad: I hate to leave a poor review, but the non-seafood options were just awful. The pizza was a cracker (honest to god a 0/10 pizza), the salad was wildly overdressed, and the cheese dip that came with the cauliflower was borderline inedible. I’m sure the seafood is a safe bet, but if anyone in your party is looking for non-seafood options I can’t recommend this place.
Hayden B — Google review
Rockfish was one of the few spots open in Edgartown over the Easter holidays, and I’m glad we gave it a try. The space itself isn’t fancy — it feels more like a pub than a restaurant — but the upstairs seating has a nice view of the street and a charming house right across from the window. We had a table by the window, which made for a cozy setting. Our server, Sarah, was super friendly and welcoming from the start. I had what was probably the best lobster roll of my life. Generous chunks of lobster, deliciously seasoned lobster salad, and a big portion of fries on the side — it really stood out from other Lobster Rolls I’d tried on this trip. Rockfish may not be a design destination, but if you’re after great seafood and a laid-back atmosphere, this place delivers. Come for the lobster roll, not the decor — and you won’t be disappointed.

We are visiting from our ship tendered near Martha’s Vineyard. We took the “free bus” from Oaks Bluff. The restaurant was highly recommended. The server was wonderful. Her name is Sarah. She gave us helpful tips. The lobster roll was excellent. We shared it. The soup (clam chowder) was perfect on a cloudy, cold day.
Marilyn P — Google review
Cool little place in Edgartown. Almost have to look for it very low key entrance. The food was incredible. Warm lobster roll incredible, tons of meat and the perfect bread. My husband had the Guinness Short Rib. It was seriously delicious. Maybe get the crunchy onions on the side - he thought heavy handed with those but did not change our 5 star rating. Another real star was the French fries. Perfect cut and texture - don’t miss them. Great bar with fun cocktails. Almost didn’t stop here for one of the water front noisier places - so glad we did! Almost forgot prices ver reasonable especially for the drinks!

The spot is known for its top-notch raw bar serving oysters from various locations, including the waters of Vineyard, Maine, and New Brunswick. Additionally, guests can indulge in caviar-topped dishes such as lobster caviar sliders on grilled brioche buns with vinegar chips.
We arrived just before they closed down for an hour between lunch and dinner. Not once did we feel rushed. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large back door that opens to the patio was open as it was just a beautiful day!

The weather was amazing and we sat out in the deck. Our server, Katie, was delightful. Very informative, professional and welcoming. The food was over the top delicious. Hubby started with a Smoked Blackberry Old Fashion. We had the Smoked Pork Belly with tomato jam and polenta to start. So yummy. I had the salmon and hubby had the Sushi Grade Tuna. Our sides that we shared were both amazing. The Truffle Dauphinoise Potatoes were to die for! Brussels spouts were also delish. We passed on dessert only because we were stuffed. We will be going back before the end of our stay highly recommend.

Came here alone for dinner just before 8 and was sat right away. Service was friendly and I was impressed by my servers knowledge of the different types of oysters on offer. She was also knowledgeable about allergies so I was confident ordering a fully gluten free meal including oysters, steak au poivre, mashed potatoes and jalapeno creamed corn.

Had an excellent lunch , great quality ingredients, beautifully presented. Ceviche and steak tartare were delicious as was the prime rib sandwich. Crème brûlée and cheese cake were fab too. Wine list was quite pricey.

I arrived at 8:00p and the place was really packed. It was a mad house! Not an enjoyable dining atmosphere for the price. Party of 1 so I ate at the bar. Ordered octopus and skirt steak (medium). Octopus was extremely overcooked (felt like leather) and my skirt steak was cooked from a range of burnt to rare 😳 (see photo). Initial thought was to return when I cut into the burnt end but the bartender informed me that its usually well-done on the ends and medium in the middle. A cut mid-middle was medium so I digressed, however the opposite end of my steak was rare 😳! Each cut of my steak became the running joke for the couple next to me. Complete contrast in food and service from years past. Also no longer accepts Amex (which they do not make you aware of until after you have dined 🤦🏾‍♀️).

Nomans is a unique spot located near State Beach, offering a spacious outdoor area with live music and various lawn games like cornhole and Jenga. What sets this place apart is their own rum production, which features in many of their specialty cocktails. The casual dining menu includes delicious options like soba noodle bowls and buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches. It's a family-friendly venue with a dog-friendly policy, making it an ideal place for both adults and children to enjoy the outdoors together.
I am in love with the kale sweet potato salad here!!! It’s always fresh and refreshing on a hot day, and I love that there is a lot of shaded outdoor seating. If I’m really hungry I get chicken tenders too, and grab a day-old cookie (s’mores of course).

We came here on a late Friday afternoon to dance, have some food & drinks, and listen to the DJ. Nomads now charges a $10 entry fee ($12 if you use a credit card), as of the 2025 season. Seating was limited so we had to stand for a bit before we were able to find a place to sit. There were reserved sections on the patio and out on the lawn. We eventually found seats with a table and ordered appetizers and drinks. There was a couple of corn hole games outside which kept some of the children that were present, occupied. The DJ played a variety of music that kept everyone on the dance floor. A good time was had.

Amazing Oysters & Laid-Back Island Vibes Our first attempt to visit Nomans was on a Friday night—unknowingly right when it seemed like everyone on the island had the same idea! We decided to try again on Saturday afternoon, and I’m so glad we did. The vibes were still popping, but without the long wait. Molly, the bartender, was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and pouring some truly delicious drinks. We enjoyed a couple of Mai Tais and a strong Old Fashioned before diving into the main event: the oysters. And let me tell you… these were AH-mazing—so fresh, so tasty, just downright guuud! We started with a half dozen, but they were so good we had to order another half dozen. I can honestly say these are probably the best oysters I’ve had to date. Our kids enjoyed playing a few games while we relaxed, and we also tried the cod sandwich—perfectly cooked, with a flavorful aioli that really stood out. The fries were fresh, hot, and tasty. The music (not live) added to the already chill, island vibe, making it even easier to kick back and enjoy the afternoon. I’m so glad our plans shifted to Saturday instead of Friday—it made for the perfect, laid-back island experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a cute spot between Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. Awesome to-go options for the beach are eating on site. There are yard games like connect four and cornhole, and an outdoor TV where we watched an NFL game. A really great value for the food we had also: hotdog and chicken sando were delish and the fries were piping hot.

Noman’s has become an annual outing during our vacation. It streamlines food and drink orders by offering counter service. This allows them to service many customers in a short period of time. It’s amazing to see retirees enjoying a meal together while kids run circles around the tables. The atmosphere is laid back, which makes it suitable and welcoming to all. They have great music, tasty food, a raw bar, and a wide selection of drinks. Seating is first-come, first-served, so you may need to stake out your location. Parking can also be difficult, and they offer an off-site shuttle service. Food in the photo includes short rib tacos (left), kale salad (right), and potato salad (back).

Nomans is such a fun spot with great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. It’s perfect for hanging out with friends or family, and the vibe feels very “island casual.” Everything we had was excellent, and the staff kept things moving even when it was busy. The only downsides are that parking can be a real challenge and, during peak times, it’s sometimes tough to find a table for your whole group. Still, once you’re settled, it’s always a great experience.

Nestled within the charming Portuguese American Club, Mo's Lunch is a delightful sandwich haven that you simply can't overlook. This quirky eatery has quickly become a beloved spot since its opening in November 2020, thanks to the creative culinary talents of chefs Austin Racine and Maura Martin. Here, you'll find an array of mouthwatering sandwiches like roasted pork with garlicky rabe and provolone on a sesame-seed hoagie roll, perfect for fueling your next adventure.
I had read about Mo's, located inside the Portuguese American Club, Oak Bluffs, being a hidden gem. It was our first stop and first dining experience on Martha’s Vineyard. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside was warm and welcoming. Our lunch consisted of a cauliflower melt and roast pork sandwich. Outstanding! Note... they do offer free water, I didn't notice until after I had bought a water. Make sure you grab a cookie, the size of your head, before you head out! My pick lemon sugar!! Thank you for a delicious lunch Mo's, we are looking forward to seeing you the next time we are on Martha’s Vineyard!

This place has earned its near 5 star rating. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The regular menu is amazing, but if there is a special that sounds even remotely good to you, it will be better than you ever imagined. It doesn't matter what the type of food is - Italian, Mediterranean, Asian and whatever else catches their interest, it's all absolutely delicious. One of the few places that has no quality dip in summer and I know I won't be disappointed. Portion sizes are massive - I always get 2, sometimes 3 meals out of an order. I the cookies amazing too and tremendous! The homemade soups are always delicious too and the quart price is a absolute steal for how much stuff they pack into it. Employees are super nice and chill, and work like a smooth oiled machine behind the counter. The vibe is friendly and welcoming. Did I mention the food is out of this world? Make sure you get some homemade ranch or garlic aoili to dip your fries or onion rings in - and bring a small army to share.

Staying in MV for the week, and saw this was across from the house I’m in. It’s AMAZING! It was hard choosing between the sandwiches, and I really want to go back for salads and tinned fish. Got to sit on the couch in the back by the N64, also an added bonus. Plus the staff were super friendly and helped us decide what to order. Pictured are the filet-o-fish, hot beef sandwich, waffle fries, and the oatmeal chocolate cookie.

I've had probably ten meals at Mo's already since they opened and I just love it so much. The people, the vibes, the service, the food, the love, the creativity! Coop de Ville is a cozy and fun restaurant located in Oak Bluffs, MA, on Martha's Vineyard. It offers waterfront dining with a casual open-air setting, serving up delicious meals made with the best ingredients. The menu features fried clams, chowder, lobster, wings, burgers, and locally sourced oysters and littlenecks from their renowned shuck shack.
Tiny, open-air spot right on the harbor with cold beer, delicious comfort food, and the friendliest staff. We came for the soccer game and were treated like family. My brother-in-law, fresh off a shift in the harbor and needing something gluten-free, was taken care of with a custom plate from the chef—no fuss, just kindness. Only a few tables, mostly locals, and everyone—from the servers to the kitchen—made the place feel like home. This is the kind of spot you want to find, but only if you know where to look.

One of our favorite stops on Martha’s Vineyard! We weren’t planning on sitting down, but after the owner greeted us and told us about their BBQ Wednesdays, we decided to grab a seat—and we’re so glad we did. We had a beer, the basket of fries, and the coconut shrimp… which my girlfriend said was the best she’s ever had. She swore she can never eat coconut shrimp again unless it’s from Coop de Ville. Our server, who was originally from Jamaica, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole vibe was just unmatched—great reggae music, amazing views of the Oak Bluffs harbor, and a laid-back energy that made us want to stay for hours. The owner mentioned he’s been running the place for 30+ years, and you can feel the love and history in every corner. We’ll be back every year we visit the island. Absolutely recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near Oak Bluffs. 🌴🍤🍻

Coop de ville is easily the chilliest most best spot in Oak Bluffs. Came here on our first day for some beers and snacks. The staff was awesome! We really felt at home. We even stopped by after our fishing trip and Shamel , the chef cooked our Bonito fish Jamaican and Cajun style. IT ROCKED!!! Well be back every year and maybe another couple times this week !!

I got the Maryland style dry rub wings and fries. The wings were too wet felt like they gave me wet instead of dry but still decent wings. I also got the fries which were shoestring (yum!) but they were not seasoned at all. Service was great my waitress was super nice and even filled my waterbottle at the end. Atmosphere is very fun, I’d recommend for the vibe and a drink but would not recommend the food it was only mediocre. Wings, fries, and soda were $33 which is not too bad for MV!

Coop de Ville is truly an island treasure and an absolute must-experience when visiting Martha’s Vineyard. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a staff that is warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — by the time you leave, you’ll feel like part of the family. The food is excellent, with something on the menu for everyone, whether you’re craving fresh seafood, comfort classics, or a little bit of both. Their beer selection is also top-notch, with plenty of great options to pair with your meal. But what really sets Coop de Ville apart is the atmosphere — it’s the perfect blend of laid-back island charm and authentic local flavor. The view is stunning, the vibes are relaxed, and the experience feels real and personal — not at all like the crowded, overhyped tourist spots. If you’re looking for a true Martha’s Vineyard experience that locals love and visitors never forget, make sure Coop de Ville is on your list. You’ll be glad you did.

Historical landmark
Nancy's Restaurant is a renowned dining spot in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard, offering a mix of casual harbor-view deck dining and more formal indoor meals. Established in 1960, it is divided into Nancy's Snack Bar on the ground level and Nancy's Restaurant upstairs. The menu features a variety of seafood classics and frozen cocktails, including lobster rolls and hand-cut onion rings.
Nancy’s was everything. From the second we sat down, we knew we were in for something special. Let’s start with the fries — so crispy, so golden, so delectable they honestly might’ve changed our lives. Easily the star of the table and not just an afterthought side. The service? Incredible. Attentive and kind without ever hovering — they struck the perfect balance between friendly and chill. Even the water was a highlight: icy, crisp, and self-serve (which we loved). We ordered a lot (the portions were huge) but were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to box things up to bring home — it was all so filling in the best way. The Greek salad was fresh, flavorful, and everything you want from a salad. And the buffalo chicken wrap? Absolutely hit the spot — packed with flavor and paired with amazing sides. The atmosphere was its own kind of magic — bustly, coastal, and the perfect blend of casual and classy. The place had such a welcoming, cultural vibe — families, friends, reunions, locals, and tourists all mixed in together. The menu had so many diverse options, it felt like everyone could find something they loved. All in all? Nancy’s nailed it. The food, the vibe, the service — everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal or a better place to spend our evening. Five out of five. Would go again in a heartbeat.
Jess F — Google review
Nancy’s is a comfortable place, the staff is very humble and the situation is scenic. The food was good, but expensive. We had hummus and pita n fried calamari as starters. In the main course the lobster roll wasn’t very good, just loaded with too much butter. The baked Cod with the veggies was excellent
Samina Q — Google review
Mixed results here - the butter based lobster roll was a bit unfortunate. It was missing a good amount of butter. The mayo version tasted better. The onion rings are thin but good. Don't get quahog - it's all bread stuffing.

We got the fisherman’s platter to share. Fries were great. Seafood was good except the whole belly clams. It could have been our first time eating them and not knowing what to expect but they were gross. Kids got cheeseburgers and they were affordable and tasted fine. Location is great, right on the harbor. If you are lucky enough to get a shaded bench, you could sit for hours and people watch. Bar onsite and makes dirty bananas that seemed to be very popular.

This is a good stop for lunch at Oak Bluffs. We ordered online and when we picked it up they forgot our waters, didn’t ask if we wanted ketchup or tartar sauce. Overall the food and atmosphere was good but I will try a different place next time

First time here and atmosphere was very nice. It's right by the beach and went there during sunset time so the sun rays were beaming through the windows. Our server did share with us things that were their too sellers but since it was my first time at Marth's Vineyard, I wanted to try the lobster rolls. It was ok. I've tried better lobster rolls in the south. Their alcoholic drinks were a bust. They were $15 for a regular sized plastic cup. It wasn't mixed well and it was super bitter. My lobster roll was overpriced, I believe it was almost $30 for mediocre lobster roll. My bf got a cheeseburger and said it was nothing to jump up and down for. View was nice though.
MJ G — Google review
Had high hopes for Nancy's after reading blogs and reviews. My lobster which was pink inside, potatoes, and corn were not up to par despite the pictures, along with the fried belly clams. The Clam chowder however was tasty.

This was my first time visiting Martha’s Vineyard, and I was really looking forward to a nice meal with friends at Nancy’s Oak Bluffs. Unfortunately, the experience left a terrible impression. After a delayed flight, I arrived hungry to meet my friends who were already seated and eating. As soon as I sat down and tried to order a salad, the waitress told me I couldn’t order any more food. My friend also tried to order a drink and was denied. When we asked why, she said her manager told her to stop serving our table. We asked to speak to the manager, and he came over with a rude and dismissive attitude. He said there were people waiting and that our table had been there long enough, as if that justified refusing us service. Then, while people were still actively eating their meals, the waitress came back and said, “We gotta get this rolling I’m bringing you boxes. We gotta go, people are waiting for tables.” No exaggeration, we were still eating and being rushed out mid-meal. I’m posting the picture so you can see actual food on everyone’s plate. There was no posted time limit, no heads-up, and no regard for basic customer service. Denying hungry customers the ability to order and then pushing them out while they’re still eating is beyond disrespectful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food might be fine, but the service and attitude are completely unacceptable.

The Black Dog Bakery Café is a part of the popular Black Dog brand, known for its casual wear, accessories, and gifts featuring their signature dog logo. Located in Vineyard Haven, it offers a variety of breakfast items and lunch sandwiches along with coffee from early morning till evening. The café is famous for its budget-friendly and delicious breakfast sandwich called the Woofer. Additionally, they are known for their muffins and homemade bread.
The Buffalo chicken loaded tots were outstanding, and the iced coffee was flawless. The cod fish sandwich was good, but the bread overshadowed the fish. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu.

Just went in for a snack and a beer, so can't comment beyond that. The server was very nice and attentive. Can't recommend the chowder due to portion size. Came in a coffee mug and half a it was croutons. What little portion you get was very good, just not much of it. Oh and a pint of draft beer should come in something other than a mason jar, just saying.

Get coffee, get bagel, admire the case. Get a sandwich on ciabatta. People are very nice but have a lot of work issues maybe staffing or training. Greasy sandwich that couldn't be picked up and was salt and grease. Cannoli with a brick of chocolate inside.

We ordered take out fish and chips. The fish stunk, it was that bad - We notified management. A refund was promised, but never paid. Very disappointing. As far as the athmosphere: This was a warm and welcoming space before they renovated it to maybe achieve a modern feel. But the charm of the old cafe is gone. I loved the way it was before. The long counter was great, because while waiting, you could delight in looking at all the yummy desserts, pies, cakes, bread etc. But the bad fish and no refund as promised - truly a shame, and makes me never want to go back again. There are better venues nearby.

Long-time fan, first time back since they remodeled. It really doesn’t feel like the black dog anymore. It now looks like a generic corporate chain, none of the original charm. Somehow modern but already dated. The service was also bad, and after waiting at the counter for a while as employees walked around talking to each other and ignoring us, we had to flag someone down to take our order. The guy was incredibly blunt/aggressive and a bummer to interact with and got our orders wrong. Food was ok but no breakfast at 11am seems weird. It really breaks my heart to say but I won’t be going back.

This is what I have found to be the most consistently delicious and high quality restaurant in the vineyard. It is not fancy, but it is great food. Guaranteed crowd pleaser as there is a bit of everything. I have only tried one thing here that I wasn't a huge fan of! This place rocks!

I truly enjoyed my first time experience at the Black Dog Bakery Cafe for lunch! The warmth and inviting atmosphere, coupled with friendly customer service, truly set the stage for an enjoyable visit. The unique and flavorful coffee surpassed my expectations leaving a lasting impression. The thoughtful display of merchandise and the dog-friendly ambiance add a charming touch for canine enthusiasts. The classic train car and outdoor seating provide a lovely setting for patrons to savor their meals. The Black Dog Bakery and Cafe is a gem with their deliciously rich peanut butter cups for gluten-free lovers, and irresistible cupcakes and other delicious homemade Bakery items. It's clear that The Black Dog Cafe has earned a special place in my list of favorite eateries.

We waited 30 minutes for our breakfast. When my coffee was handed to me it was luke warm. The eggs were cold and hard, not over medium like ordered, the toast was cold and not toasted, the sausage was cold and rubbery, the hashbrowns were cold and not edible because they were so hard. For a place that charges 20 dollars for breakfast, I can make at home for a 3rd of the price and 100 times better and cooked to the way it's supposed to be. Highly disappointed!

Nestled in the charming town of Vineyard Haven, Little House Café is a cozy haven for food lovers seeking comfort and flavor. This delightful café serves up an array of heartwarming global dishes, freshly brewed coffee, and caters to various dietary preferences with its veggie and gluten-free options. While many flock here for their scrumptious baked goods or the beloved falafel at lunchtime, it’s also a perfect spot for an early winter dinner.
This is a place when you want a bit quieter place on this busy island during the summer. Very interesting and international menu. Beet and arugula salad very good. Lamb burger very nice and comes with Greek salad (which I will substitute for chips, since there lots of tomatoes on the burger) Salmon very good. Polite, fried and sweet staff.

Had the fish tacos. It was mostly tomato. The iced chai latte was decent. Went because of the reviews but I was a bit disappointed. Two tacos, mostly tomato, chai latte $37 total….

Visiting Martha's Vineyard for the first time. Love the area. The island is beautiful. Did a search for places to eat and found Little House has great reviews so we decided to try it out. Definitely didn't disappoint. The food was spectacular. Truly enjoyed our food and the service was great. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the tenderloin tacos. Really wanted to try the chicken shawarma so we asked for a side of it and a side of Tahini sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious. We didn't have dessert as we were going exploring around and opted to try something somewhere else. Highly recommend a stop here.
AlMari C — Google review
I rarely review things. It either has to be “that good” or “that bad”. Unfortunately, Little House Cafe was “that bad”. We were initially attracted to the restaurant because we could sit outside with our dog. You go inside, order takeout, and can use their picnic tables - perfect. I asked them to let us know when our food was ready and we’ll come grab it from inside. The woman taking orders said “come back in 15 minutes”. She was unable to peak her head outside the door and say “food is ready guys.” Too much effort. The food was bland, eggs over cooked and laughably expensive. I understand Martha’s Vineyard in general is expensive and im happy to pay those prices for quality food and service but this was awful all around. See attached picture of $75 (not exaggerating) breakfast. We were the only people there the entire time and it’s clear why…. This place must’ve gone down hill or we were there on a VERY off day. There’s lots of choices on the island - go literally anywhere else.

We were a party of 11 that dined in for brunch. They have enough space for a big party like us. The food was average. The shell of fish taco was neither soft nor hard so it was a surprise for me. They do serve fried and pan seared version of the fish tacos which is nice. The chicken kabab Thai fusion dish and chicken shwarma were probably the best dishes on the table. The lemonade was way too sour and the muffin we ordered here was not so fresh either.
Archie J — Google review
Haven't had great experiences here but others seem to love it. I ordered the shawarma and my mother had the butternut squash salad. The salad looked appealing and appetizing and tasted really good. The shawarma had a strange fish like taste to it and was not very appealing to the eye. It kind of just unrolls and opens up when you unwrap the paper which makes it difficult and messy to eat. I ended up switching my shawarma for a pretty basic but tasty turkey sandwich. The woman at the counter was super friendly and helpful and was very nice in offering an exchange for something else that I was happy with.

When looking for a breakfast places we decided to get out of the busyness of the Port. We came across Little House Cafe that's a off the beaten-path. They serve up some traditional breakfast. Service is excellent and the place is clean. They do also have a takeaway and bakery attached to this venue. Prices are reasonable since you are at the *Vineyard*

It's ok. The service was good, nothing above and beyond and same goes for most of the food. With that said I will say their fish tacos weren't really seasoned at all, but besides that everything was fine. I recommend the salmon bagel.

Morning Glory Farm, established in 1975, is a family-owned farm on Marthas Vineyard known for its commitment to conservation and farmland preservation. The farm spans 65 acres and features a diverse range of fresh produce, flowers, herbs, and more. Their expansive farmstand offers an array of just-harvested vegetables, fruits, dairy products, freshly baked goods like pies and muffins as well as starter plants for home gardens.
Morning Glory Farm is one of the best farms on island in my opinion. A family farm, they supply ingredients to so many island homes and restaurants. Thankful because I live just five minutes away! If you're visiting, it's a must because it's a great spot to stock up for food if you're staying in a rental and wanting to cook local island produce. Also a great farm stand to pick up beach food - they have everything from a delicious salad bar to baked goods, cheeses, crackers, charcuterie, and so much more. Need peanut butter? They grind their own and it comes in a glass jar (yei no plastic!); need flowers for a dinner, they have them; want some beach plum jam, they make their own - also their strawberry jam is amazing! Plus they have ready. to eat dinners like tacos, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, and so much more, easy to reheat when you're on the go. Morning Glory Farm - definitely a favorite on island!

Our team gives Morning Glory Farm five stars. Our go-tos: the banana bread (moist, not too sweet), sesame noodles (perfect grab-and-go), and sourdough (crackly crust, chewy crumb). The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, even during rushes. Bonus: the rocking chairs on the porch are perfect for catching up on emails while enjoying a local snack. Nestled with a stunning view of Edgartown Harbor, Bettini Restaurant is a must-visit culinary gem on the Vineyard. The ambiance is inviting, featuring reclaimed wood ceilings and rich teal and red decor that creates a cozy yet elegant atmosphere perfect for any meal of the day. Whether you're indulging in breakfast or dinner, the menu showcases refined American cuisine with coastal influences.
We had an incredible experience at Bettini, made even more memorable by the outstanding service from bartenders Hunter and Taylor. We were celebrating my friend's new job in LA, so we wanted somewhere we could feel extra special celebrating. Sitting at the bar was the perfect choice — the atmosphere was welcoming, the conversation flowed easily, and the bartenders professionalism truly stood out. Hunter crafted what was hands down the best espresso martini we’ve ever had, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. Taylor made us one of the signature cocktails of Bettini as well and truly - another five star drink to start the night. The ambiance at Bettini strikes a perfect balance between elegant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed yet elevated night out. The food was equally impressive. We started with the beef skewers, which were incredibly tender, and the shrimp empanadas, which were perfectly crisp and flavorful. The gnocchi with wild mushrooms and truffle was a standout — rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The chicken dish was spectacular, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. We ended on a sweet note with the chocolate torte, a lovely finish to an unforgettable meal. If you're visiting Edgartown, a meal at Bettini is a must and we highly recommend grabbing a seat at the bar — between the amazing service, exquisite food, and lively ambiance, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. Taylor and Hunter are true professionals and we look forward to coming in again and telling all our friends about our experience!

A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience at Bettini Dining at Bettini Restaurant was one of the most meaningful and beautiful experiences I've ever had. Located in the stunning Harbor View Hotel in Martha’s Vineyard, the atmosphere was breathtaking — with luxurious decor and a serene view of the water that set the perfect tone for the evening. I had mentioned in advance that it was my mother’s birthday — though she is now in heaven, I celebrate her every year. What the team at Bettini did for me moved me to tears. When I sat down, they handed me a personalized menu created in honor of my mom. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. They even told me I could take the menu home, which I will treasure forever. The food was absolutely amazing, every bite was perfect. To top it all off, they brought out a beautiful birthday dessert with a chocolate “Happy Birthday” plaque and a tall candle. It felt like they celebrated her with me. To say I had an amazing time would be an understatement. Bettini is not just a restaurant — it's a place that touches your heart. Thank you to the entire staff for making my evening so special.

A Culinary Gem That Outshines Even the View – Bettini at Harbor View Hotel Bettini at the Harbor View Hotel is one of those rare places where the food, service, and setting harmonize so perfectly that you almost forget which one impressed you first. Yes, the view of Edgartown Harbor is breathtaking — the kind that glows in the golden light of Martha’s Vineyard — but here, it’s the food that truly steals the show. Under the remarkable leadership of Executive Chef Juan Martinez and Sous Chef Momo Camara, every plate is crafted with soul and precision. The scallop crudo was a masterpiece of restraint — impossibly fresh, delicate, kissed with just the right acidity to let the sea speak for itself. The lobster bucatini came next, beautifully balanced with a subtle kick that added warmth without overwhelming the sweet richness of the lobster. And then, the beef carpaccio — paper-thin, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor in every bite. Service was flawless from start to finish. Our bartender Taylor made the most beautiful hot cocoa for my daughter — just the right temperature, velvety, and not too hot — proof of the team’s thoughtful attention to detail. Andrei, our server, was both attentive and genuinely funny, effortlessly remembering each of my kids’ names after our very first dinner. That kind of personal touch transforms a meal into a memory. Bettini isn’t just a hotel restaurant — it’s a culinary destination in its own right. Whether you come for the harbor views, the impeccable service, or the artistry on your plate, you’ll leave knowing you’ve just experienced something special.

This has been the best food, view, ambience combination of our New England trip so far. We had dinner as the sun set so that the colors bounced off of the Edgartown Lighthouse as we ate. Everything we had - appetizer, entree, sides and dessert - were delicious and Ilich our server was delightful. If you spend time in Martha's Vineyard, Bettini should be part of your experience.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and the staff truly made it feel special. Everyone—from the hostess to our server—was warm, attentive, and welcoming. We were seated with a beautiful view of the harbor, which I really appreciated. The interior of the restaurant was also charming and inviting. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I started with the clam chowder, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had—so creamy and delicious. For dinner, my boyfriend had the pan-roasted half chicken and absolutely loved it. He’s a picky eater, so the fact that he called it his favorite meal on the island says a lot! I had the bolognese, and as a pasta lover, it hit all the right notes—just perfect. If you’re in Edgartown, I’d definitely recommend dining here. It’s absolutely worth the price!

Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard is a beloved Italian eatery known for its generous portions of pasta and other classic dishes. The homelike space offers porch seating, adding to the cozy atmosphere. While it has been closed and reportedly bought by new owners, visitors are encouraged to check if it has reopened to enjoy a satisfying meal of delicious pasta. Previous patrons have praised the top-notch food, large portions, and excellent ambience at this local favorite dining spot.
Every year we go to the vineyard this is on our list to go to. We always show up at 5 right when they open because it can get busy. The chicken hazel is my favorite dish. You know when you heat up leftover pasta and there’s a TON of oil at the bottom? I re-heated my leftovers twice NO oil and it tastes the same as when I got it in the restaurant. I also ordered takeout for the first time here. I had asked for extra sauce. They gave me an extra side of sauce in a container no charge. Best service. Best food, hands down. If they’re looking to open another location please consider Hingham harbor!

The food is worth it. We almost didn’t go because of the pics from the inside but we had some of the best pasta we have ever had. Service is a little slow but that didn’t bother us. We were just enjoying our time. Get the garlic for the bread and the carbonara is fantastic. They also had some shrimp and chicken almost vodka sauce pasta that were both fantastic.

To the owner of Jimmy Seas. Please be advised that your hostess/server that greeted my Mom & I today for lunch was WASTED. COMPLETELY INCOHERENT with an EXTREMELY STRONG smell of booze. My Mom & I left a few minutes after being seated because it was obvious that this person was not it any shape or form to be dealing with the public and would be much better off going home to bed for the rest of the day to sober up. It is also important to note that this is the SECOND time this has happened with the same hostess/server, as she was equally as drunk & unpleasant last year when we went for dinner. Do better Jimmy Seas.
Raquel K — Google review
I don't generally leave bad reviews because they can be reflective of the individual leaving the review, but I just had the worst experience I've ever had in Martha's Vinyard. People make places and people here are so kind and courteous. Yet, the rudeness I experienced with the bartender at Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta was an all-time low. From the moment I walked to the bar to place a to-go order, it was clear she did not want to be bothered with a to-go order. She was extremely rude to me and while I had a good experience at the restaurant 2 days prior, I left without placing an order after being egregiously disrespected by the bartender. She got what she wanted, I rather leave than to be subjected to her rudeness. Many great places to eat in Oaks Bluff.

I stumbled upon this place while in route to go to another restaurant. One of patrons on line said the food was very good. I was hesitant because Italian food is never my first choice. But to my surprise stopping there was by best choice because the food was EXCELLENT. I loved the atmosphere and our waitress was great! Nice portions of food that you can share and enough to have left overs. It was one of the best restaurants that I ate at during my entire stay in Martha's Vineyard. I will be back mext year and look forward to sining there again. Love this place.

This is one of the best places I've ever eaten! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was also very good. The only reason I gave it four stars is that my drinks should have arrived before my meal, and the drink service was a bit slow. Other than that, it's a fantastic place with amazing food, and I had one of the best lemon drop martinis I've ever tasted!

Pawnee House is one of those spots that instantly makes you feel at home - thanks in large part to Alex, who welcomes you like family the moment you walk in. His cocktails are incredible - thoughtful, balanced, and full of personality. We shared a bunch of plates, each one beautifully done, but the standout for me was the vegan crab cakes. I snapped a photo, but honestly, it doesn’t even begin to do them justice - crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, with an insanely good aioli. The whole experience was warm, delicious, and full of heart. Pawnee House is a must if you’re on the island.

Had an early Sunday dinner here on memorial day weekend. I highly recommend making a reservation because this place fills up! We had an excellent meal. The cocktails, apps, mains and dessert were all equally delicious. I had the Salmon Wellington (photo below) and my friend had the special of the day. Our server was delightful and attentive and the atmosphere was very quaint and funky with local artists lining the walls. They have lots of vegan options if that's something you are after...get the vegan chocolate Cake! It's to-due for!

Best (Korean short rib) tacos my son has ever had in his life. He was talking about them all night. My chicken souvlaki bowl was delicious. Discovered this restaurant from the Find Me Gluten Free app. Appreciated that everything was clearly labeled. Cost more than we normally pay off the island for dinner but worth the price as a treat for us. We were able to walk in because we went mid-week right when they opened, but it was shortly full. I’d recommend making a reservation.

Incredible! Definitely my favorite spot on the Vineyard right now. The food is beautifully crafted and delicious. The chef is extremely talented and it's a blast to eat her food. There are plenty of vegan/vegetarian dishes that are inventive and tasty so I can go back again and again and order different things. The staff are super friendly and make you feel like a regular the first time you go in. Also, I love the vibe there. The lighting is warm but not too bright and the design touches are comfortable but stylish. Finally, it has the best three top table I've ever seen!

Great meal! The place is small and very busy. I felt very bad for Alex the host! There were many Karens trying to use their privilege and asking for a table without a reservation even after he told them there were none. Two women even asked if he could ask people sitting at the bar to get up early to accommodate them! Very poor taste and Karens being Karen. Aside from that food was great. Our waitress got one item of our order wrong but we were accommodated with a free dessert so it all worked out. Also mixed drinks were made strong so a plus! Salmon Wellington excellent and beet and goat cheese stack great and the shishito peppers were roasted to perfection. Strawberry shortcake so good with the homemade biscuit! All together a great meal. But please If want to dine in the summer make a reservation!

Visited here for dinner a few days ago, and absolutely loved it. More details below, but first, a quick summary. Drinks are all excellent. Food is very well cooked and all worth what they charge. Some dishes feel a little held back by the dedication to vegan ingredients. General thoughts: - Service was very attentive; I drink a ton of water and almost never had an empty glass, despite the small cups here. - Minor thing, but very important to me - the straws are waxed paper. They don't pollute like the plastic ones, and they don't stick to your lips and feel gross like the cheap paper ones. Super happy with these, please never change them. A little more granular, dish by dish - starting with drinks: - the Georgia On My Mind is my favorite drink here or anywhere on the island. It's very well balanced, and the pecan syrup gives it some delicious complexity. Will order this every time I come here. - the Yankee Swap is also very good, with great ube flavor that is strong, but doesn't quite overpower the rest. - the Careless Whisper wasn't our favorite. We thought it was good, but tasted a little too much like cough syrup. We think the IPA syrup's hoppiness was a little too much for the grapefruit. For small plates: - the asparagus flatbread was perfect. Cheese melted into the bread, which was very flaky. A little more arugula than we needed, but we all enjoyed this one. - the dumplings were very good, though for the price they could have brought a few more of their friends. Flavor was excellent, but we felt the wraps didn't bind quite right without the egg - slight downside to the vegan cooking. - the butternut soup was disappointing, even for someone who loves butternut. Was a little thin, could have used some cream to thicken and improve the flavor. Flavor was also a little one-dimensional, which we feel could be helped by adding just a little bit of red pepper or some other herbs. Finally, on the mains - - Chicken pot pie was unreservedly great. Not crazy special ingredients, just really well executed. Bigger portion than most of the things here, too, if that's of interest. - Salmon Wellington was very good, well seasoned and delicious. Unique dish, worth a try for sure. Maybe could use a dab more sauce? Happy with this one, too. Desserts we had were all worth it. I'm pretty adamant this has been the best restaurant I've been to in Martha's Vineyard. Looking forward to see how they evolve over time!

It's the perfect place to start your day with a hearty breakfast featuring pour-over coffee and warm rice pudding, or you can work up an appetite by cycling to the diner from Wheel Happy Bicycles.
Absolutely amazing food, top 2 or 3 breakfast spot I’ve been anywhere in the world, hands down...and you get the cool little grass airfield with planes landing and taking off for free. Great spot. Amazing food, beautiful location and incredible staff. Well worth the wait, enjoy a cocktail while waiting on your table.
Justin C — Google review
The coolest part of this diner is the view of the airfield. It was sooo cool to be able to see the planes up close and personal! The inside was much smaller than I thought it would be, cute and cozy. The outdoor seating felt bigger than the inside. Their breakfast menu was large and with nice variety of dishes. The service was slow and not attentive, it took time to do everything here… Once we finally got the server to take our order, we went with Lobster Benedict with Cheesy Polenta Cake to share. The eggs were poached a bit too long, which was a bit disappointing. The polenta cake was firm yet bouncy, with nice cheesy flavor. It had a generous amount of lobster meat, which was great! We enjoyed the food, but you know what can ruin a good meal? Horrible service. Our server acted as if she didn’t care if we were there, or maybe she just wanted us to leave? When we get treated differently, and looking around and seeing I am the only non-white customer there, it does make me wonder if that is the reason behind the horrible service. One interesting (putting it nicely) thing was when my hubby asked for a refill of water, she came and refilled ONLY his glass and walked away. We had to ask for my glass to get a refill once we got her attention… Then, she brought a check without asking if we wanted anything else. Oh well, we were ready to get out of this un-welcoming place anyways. Would we return? Maybe to try some other dishes, but with low or no expectation of receiving any kind of warm service.

The Right Fork Diner is a great spot for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You just might have to wait in a line!

Great breakfast with cool planes to look at. Highly recommended.

Mad Martha's Homemade Ice Cream is a popular ice cream shop on the island of Marthas Vineyard, with three convenient locations in Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, and Vineyard Haven. They pride themselves on sourcing ingredients from local suppliers to create unique and flavorful scoops.
Mad Martha’s is amazing! I got the Sinful Chocolate and it was insanely good—super rich and creamy. The staff was so friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!
Jenna L — Google review
We stopped here for a quick treat after lunch. It wasn’t too busy on a Monday afternoon. We didn’t go too crazy with our choices, just some hot fudge sundaes. They were good. We will have to go back and try more.
Mark T — Google review
Mad Martha’s is da bomb. Love this place. The ice cream is painstakingly hand crafted using the finest ingredients available. Each bite is a taste bud orgasm. The place is spotless clean. It even smells good. The team members are extremely friendly and courteous. The attention to detail includes insulated to go bags. It’s everything you need and want in homemade ice cream. Treat yourself and your family today. Ask for Johanna. She has the biggest smile. God Bless Blue & Gold! God Bless America! Remember Everyone Deployed Everyday!

I loved this place! The ice cream is so creamy and tasteful. I had the sinful chocolate flavor and I 100% recommend it! There is some seating inside, we were able to sit because it wasn’t busy. Not sure how busy it gets though!
Fatima Z — Google review
Although we have been coming for 30 years, I just say the quality has declined. The coffee ice cream did not have any taste and the fudge was over cooked and not smooth at all. We all were so disappointed. I had ice cream at another local ice cream shop and was so impressed by the smoothness of the fudge and the taste of the cream. We will be trying other ice cream shops on our trip this year. We threw out most of our ice cream tonight. It was that bad. Sorry.
Joyce Q — Google review
Really really creamy intense Oreo-flavored ice cream. Very sweet after first big but truly yummy!
Kavya S — Google review
In a town positively stacked with ice cream shops, this one was our favorite. Good flavor selection, good service and great ice cream. Bonus points for offering affogato on the menu!

Delicious! Catboat crunch was my favorite. Friendly staff and fine folks.

Edgartown Pizza, located in the heart of Edgartown, offers a variety of pizza options including gourmet choices like ricotta or sour cream instead of traditional sauce. In addition to pizza, the menu features subs, wraps, sandwiches, and grilled items like teriyaki steak tips. The pizzeria is known for its light and chewy crust that serves as a perfect base for classic and creative toppings.
We ordered the XL Brazilian Pizza and it was amazing. Really delicious. Crispy on the edges and soft delicious middle! Excellent customer service. Great price! Will definitely come again!

I have ordered X large pizza for out, for my friends, the staff was very convient to handle, they give you all needed information and preferences. I realy liked the perfect how it was said time for waiting, 20 minutes usually for pizza. I didnt eat, but friends were delighted. They have pizzas, sandwiches for breakfast, teriyaki, chicken fingers, mozzarela sticks, and bunch of different food. It isnt very healthy meals option restaurant but it is very good pizzeria and fast, quick, big portions food.
Niko F — Google review
Very good steak and cheese, pedestrian chicken fingers, but love the Brazilian Lunches and dinner plates. Not a big fan of the pizza but there are many other selections. Service can be slow so order ahead or new prepared. Basic table and layout could be better. Bottom line here, go for the non-pizza food.

I walked out pretty upset, actually (but...stay tuned). We ordered for a pre-sunset pick-up on our way to South Beach. We received notification that it was ready at 5:28 -- perfect! Walked in. Actually not ready. Due to an unexplained "mistake" in the kitchen, we had to wait 30 minutes, and with six little children sitting in the car, and sunset at 6:10, this wasn't ideal. It would have been a nice touch to offer something to make up for it, but other than "it'll be a few more minutes," nobody said anything. Sitting in an empty restaurant watching the clock is no fun. So did I expect to be posting a 1-star review? Yeah. But I'm not, because, honestly, the pizza is ridiculously good. So good, that frankly, it's worth the wait. We got a GF pepperoni (heads up, that comes in small -- the Instacart menu didn't indicate, so we thought it was going to be bigger) and Talia's Choice (artichoke, garlic, mushroom, pesto). Quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had, and I would try it again.
Olivia B — Google review
Delicious pizza spot with a cool casual interior. We were looking for a simple, non-seafood meal during October and came across this pizza restaurant. The outside isn't fancy and a little unassuming, but inside it's warm and inviting. I got a small pepperoni pizza, and had a few slices left over. Two people with a small appetite could probably share it fine. The pepperoni was nice and crispy, and the cheese and sauce were tasty!
Katie B — Google review
I ordered it well done she repeated so. Picked it up, opened it to has that nice well done look. I was happy, got it home and the bottom was soggy & barely cooked. I did not think I had to ask for the bottom to be well done also.
Drew K — Google review
I was hesitant to order from Edgartown Pizza because of the amount of average reviews, but I have to tell you that the pizza was really good. The crust was great and the toppings were good, too. I would definitely order pizza there again.
Stephen C — Google review
Got take out of 6 pizzas and chicken wings (3 cheese, 1 buffalo chicken, 1 BBQ chicken, 1 pepperoni). Kind and friendly service, terrible pizza. No sauce, flavorless cheese, overcooked but bottom crust was not crispy, it was actually chewy. Ordered well in advance for pick up 30 minutes later. The pizza was not fresh and hot out of oven, it was just warm. We will never go back.

The pizza at Slice of Edgartown is exceptional! It gives off the vibe of being in Brooklyn with its incredible taste. The staff members are extremely amiable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This establishment is truly beloved by patrons for its fantastic food and overall experience.
Been going here almost every day it is open and love the pizza. The wings are also some of the best you can get in town without going to a restaurant.
Robby P — Google review
This is basically gas station pizza. It tastes like frozen pizza and costs $27 a pie. There are far better options in town. If you are on a boat, this is a decent option because it’s right by the dinghy dock. They do have gluten free, but I didn’t try it.
Tim C — Google review
This might be the worse pizza place I’ve ever been to, and I’m not just saying this because I live in New York. This is low effort pizza, seems like the dough is frozen, and there is very little sauce on the pizza either. If somebody came to MV from a different country or planet, and had never had pizza, and this was their first visit, they’d make a face, shrug and would go back and tell their friends (and fellow aliens), and would say “pizza sucks”.
Peter C — Google review
Barely could stomach when it was warm. They forgot to warm up a slice of pizza for 2 customers. And the store is incredibly bland shoe box. They only operate because they are the cheapest option in an expensive area I’d rather have dominos.
Michael P — Google review
Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but definitely not the worst. They’re open late after everything else closes.
Christine S — Google review
Worst takeout pizza I’ve ever had, it’s literally bad frozen oven pizza. Wasn’t even good when i was drunk
Audrey G — Google review
Terrible service, even worse pizza. There’s a reason no one is ever there.
Max L — Google review
I am 90% sure the pizza is a frozen box pizza. Absolutely terrible, flavorless pizza. Do not waste your money
