Poor quality of food and high inconsistencies, coupled with an awful service delivery primarily by the owner. The team does its best though heavily undermanned and badly managed.

We had an excellent meal here last night. We walked into what seemed like a cafe bar but were shown downstairs to a fabulous restaurant.The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was beyond expectation, perfectly cooked and generous portions- reasonably priced as well. We would thoroughly recommend!

This restaurant is easy to miss! It has a very narrow door on one street and a beautiful open-air area at the back that is only accessible through a narrow, winding road. Thank goodness for the internet! We found this restaurant through internet reviews and decided to try it out. We were a table of 5. Three of us had pizza and 2 had a fritto misto (mixed fries shellfish). WOW! The fritto misto was excellent. Light on batter and not relatively oily, considering you're eating fried food. I usually opt out of this dish as it tends to get sickly after a bit. My pizza (the one in the picture) was good albeit a bit soggy in the middle. The owner, who was extremely curtuous, offered to add burrata to our pizza (after I asked him whether there are any pizzas with burrata instead of mozzarella di bufala). The 5 of us enjoyed our meal and pleasant hospitality. We will definitely go back.

Awful attitude by head waiter. He forced ZBruschetta on us though we had no intention of ordering it. He derided us for eating the bread rolls when these were served in the table. Our main dishes did not come out together, but over a period of 15 minutes. Some of my party had nearly finished before I got my plate !

The bad attitude of the lady is something I have never experienced before,the waiter puts his thumb in the food,and the manager or owner thinks he is a god send to the resturant business.....never again,we only went to this place because the other resturant across the street was closed.....stay away you have been warned ⚠️

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Enna. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, making you feel right at home from the moment you step inside. Ordered the mussels, sea bream and swordfish. It was all absolutely delicious! Manager came out to greet us and servers were attentive and personable. Recommended!

Very unhappy until the food arrived!! It was simply heavenly. Tagliatelle with shrimp and citrus sauce. What a creation! Service was very slow maybe because of the big party of police officers who finished just after I arrived. My only comment is that for a Sicilian restaurant in a magnificent city such as Enna, the decor is too plain. A touch of life would uplift everything. Anyway, best tagliatelle I’ve had in my life.

Located in the heart of Enna, Le tre Rose restaurant is perfect for your special occasions (but not only). We had the "hot and cold" selection of antipasti and linguine allo scoglio. Food is finely presented and fish incredibly fresh! The owners look after your table impeccably. Staff is kind, friendly and efficient. Extra Bonus for the house wine and the appetisers while you are waiting (on the house). Honest prices. Highly recommended.

If you come from outside you have to go with the car in the old city center . The restaurant has a very nice view from outside on the cathedral. Very big portions and also very tasty. We were already full with the antipasti di mare. They do not speak English so better have Google translate at hand . The lady who I think is the owner is very nice and even offered the leftovers to be taken away as to not waste food :) Definitely a must go, prices I would say a little above average but definitely worth it Only dislike was the boy waiter who is kind of rude and not very polite and helpful... But it's the only thing to improve Also expect to have a long and tasty lunch

Food was mediocare and waitress was rude. She dubbled our portions without saying anything! We wanted one appetizer for 2 just to try, despite it size. At the payment booth, they said that in THEIR opinion it was too few so DECIDED TO ADD MORE. And now instead of 13 euro we have to pay 26. Was so aggrivated and if not the event in Katania and language barrier I would argue! Second most unprofessional and unwelcoming place I've been last weeks in Sicily!

We stopped here unexpectedly and it turned out to be a good choice. The staff was friendly and speaking English. Pasta was a good quality, tasty deserts and coffee as well. Chef went to check with the guest himself if everything is good. The prices were adequate given the quality of food and service. Payment by card available.

You will get ripped off. Food okay, but not above average. Will offer you an „off menu item“, not state that the price is per kilo, and then bring you a piece way too big for one person (900g of fish in my instance, I was alone) without asking you how much you want beforehand.

Very nice service. Decent red house wine and bread. Pizza really good. Sirloin beef tender and made as ordered. The sauce with sirloin beef was a surprise, but maybe we are not yet used to the Sicilian taste. Still we think that the dish was not balanced, the sauce was too much in competition with the excellent sirloin beef.

We had dinner here with our kids and were not impressed: 3 plates of uninspiring, semi-cooked and half cold pasta dishes, a cheese-ham stuffed calzone etc. We did not appreciate being charged 10 EUR (2 per person) cover charge incl for our three kids without even bread on the table. And finally overcharged us in the bill by increasing the price for the pasta compared to what was written on the menu (which they corrected after us complaining).

The price on the menu is wrong! Also, they charged us wrong for Cokes and couldn't explain the bill. Rude waitress who wasn't helpful - didn't even bring me a glass for a can of soda. Poor communication from start to finish: most options on the menu were not available, and nobody informed us that until we had already spent 10 min choosing our dishes! Long wait for a table but nobody came to welcome us and explain how long it would take or how many groups were ahead of us. Caponata portion was massive and tasty, but extremely oily. The best was the stuffed roasted red pepper. Not expensive but overall a disappointing experience because of service.

A wonderful surprise in the way from Ortigia to Cefalu. Gaetano, the owner, is the most kind host and the food is10-10 for a reasonable price.

One of my favorite Italian meals. Up there with Osteria Da Gemma in Piemonte. We had lunch in this warm, welcoming family restaurant alongside some very serious, heavily medaled police officers (or carabinieri), who ordered much better than I did. The pastas were fantastic and that was the best meatball of my life. However, the police officers started with a few different fritattas and had the lemon stewed beef with potatoes (which my husband also had). We had two pastas, two mains, 250ml wine, and a large bottle of water for €42. Amazingly good value. Tip well. They really should charge double for those ordering from the English menu (like my husband), honestly!

On our way from Agrigento to Catania, we decided to stop and have lunch at this highly rated restaurant. It is currently only open for lunch, no dinner service. The four of us arrived at 13:00 without reservations but the boss looked at all the reso slips and fortunately gave us a table. We had the best caponata on our trip, spinach frittata, giant meatballs, stewed beef, and due dolci (deconstructed cannoli and semi-freddo). 75€ for 4 people.

We loved our experience here! The food was fantastic—truly authentic Sicilian cuisine bursting with flavor. The caponata was delicious, and the pasta alla Norma was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. The staff treated us kindly with warm hospitality.

Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff who treat you like family. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. You might need to wait a little between courses, but it’s worth it. We had a truly fantastic evening at Bistrò Siciliano Con Giardino Paradiso! The restaurant is run by a warm and welcoming Italian family, which immediately creates a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent, attentive, personal, and always with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious: we had the antipasti rustica, the pasta Paradiso, and the pasta with pistachio and bacon, all full of flavor and clearly prepared with love. The wines were also excellent and paired perfectly with the dishes. This place is a real gem in Enna. If you are in Enna or nearby, don’t miss it, highly recommended! A delightful evening in a garden under trees in the center of Enna. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy a tasting of many Sicilian foods. We had the apericena with pasta. The pasta was made with a unique flavorful “celery pesto.” The deserts were delicious and we finished the meal with amaro. The service was friendly and attentive to what we wanted. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Enna.

I had an amazing evening meal here. It began with a warm welcome and had attentive staff. I started with the black boar carpaccio and then had seafood spaghetti. The olive oil on the carpaccio was brilliant and the seafood was tasty, fresh, and plentiful. A glass of local white wine and an amaro were perfect accompaniments to this feast.

We ordered vegetarian menu, they bring us Enna menu. Pasta is good, sorbet too. But the meat is overcooked.

I was looking for a place where to eat at lunchtime and decided to give it a go to this restaurant. The waiters were nice to me, and the place looked nice. Everything went fine, and for an appetiser, water, coffee, and a main course, I paid around 25 euros. Little note: I noticed that food wasn't fresh, and I disliked some of the little appetiser. The main course was extremely rich in taste, thus difficult to enjoy until the last bite. I would recommend it for some food, but I'd suggest improving on freshness. Enjoy it!

You have to eat at Tommy's Wine! The place is small so make reservations. The food is outstanding! He adds a modern twist to the traditional Sicilian dishes like this Arancino with black rice. Very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Tommy is funny 😁 and also very friendly.

Very friendly service. It’s a wine bar so menu is very limited. No seafood options. 3.5 rating for food. None of the dishes was very outstanding. I’d recommend the customizable tiramisu for dessert - a unique experience to be served the ingredients that you then mix to your liking.

Set in a beautiful old square with a bubbling fountain at its heart. Tommy is a great host with a passion for wine and food. This is the best treatment of arancini and tiramisu we have had in Sicily! Go there!!

4,5 * - The location is very nice and spacious and the servers are quite responsive. The food was good for the most part ( Tartarre was great, tagliata was also a good pick, tasty gnochhi) The pizza was underwhelming dough, and the spaghetti cacio e peppe were boiled at least 1 minute short of al dente. Prices were very reasonable, so all in all would definitely recommend

I stopped here for a quick lunch on the way to Catania airport and had the best tuna (nicoise-like) salad I have ever eaten. Very generous, lots of vegetables including freshly cooked warm potatoes, plenty of olive oil and well seasoned. Served with warm flatbread. And the people were obliging and friendly.

Our B and B recommended this place to us since we didn't research beforehand. Therefore I was a little skeptical at first (because I tend to steer away from touristy places) but it turned out to be better than I expected. It definitely didn't fit the mold of any restaurant I have been to in Italy so far. The space was very unique, open with plenty of seating and gave off a modern outdoor garden vibe. Definitely geared to the international traveler. They had an English menu and an extensive wine list with pictures and descriptions. Our appetizer was an eclectic mix of 2 types of cheeses, sundried tomatoes and olives, caponata and couscous served with pita like bread. Our main dishes were pasta based and were delicious! We even sprung for a slice of cheesecake with berries for dessert. If you are looking for something more traditional then this might not meet your expectations, but nonetheless it's worth a try if you are in the area.

Our group of six had an Americana Margherita Pizza which was the best in all of Sicily! We had caponata as well which was delicious, and the owner Massimo was so warm and welcoming!

Excellent cuisine, especially meat dishes.

Unfortunately, I am unable to share my experience with their food. What I can share is that my family and I arrived 10 minutes before opening. My party included my husband, son (small child) and elderly mother. We were asked to wait 10 minutes until they opened, which was understandable. After 10 minutes passed a staff member came and asked us to wait another 10 minutes, which we did. After 20 minutes standing outside a staff member came outside and asked us if we had reservations. I replied that we did not. He said to me that unfortunately he was unable to serve us. I found this unacceptable as we could have been asked from the beginning when we were asked to wait. I have traveled all over the world this was a first for me.

Excellent pizza and friendly staff. When asking for one tiramisu to share, they even gave us a bigger piece than normal. Super nice! The tiramisu was very tasty by the way, so keep room for dessert!

Best Pizza Restaurant If you're looking for the ultimate pizza experience, look no further than Al Carrettino. This is hands down the best pizza restaurant I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of pizza places in my time. First off, the atmosphere is unbeatable. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe that immediately puts you at ease. But of course, the real star of the show is the pizza. Every pizza that comes out of the kitchen is a work of art. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of char. The toppings are always fresh and high quality. One of my personal favorites is the Rosso . It's a perfect combination of flavors and textures, and I crave it all the time. But really, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have a great selection of classic pizzas, as well as some more creative options that are sure to impress. To top it all off, the service is top-notch. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience.

As a chef when I go out to eat, it can often be disappointing. But this restaurant really outdid itself and presented food in both an aesthetic Lee pleasing way that was also absolutely delicious. We shared the appetizer sampler and the seafood antipasti. Both were wonderful as was the bread that was served with it. Both pastors that we likewise shared were tasty and delicious as were the second courses. Although there was a language barrier, the waiter was very patient and helped us choose a very nice bottle of Sicilian white wine. For five people including a bottle of wine with three courses, We spent under €100. A great place as you explore the province of Enna in Sicily.

The pizza was glorious… and the service was fantastic . We ordered a pizza each and a starter to share and they even brought us a focaccia on the house …

I was not happy with this place. It seemed like a good restaurant, but I didn't have a good experience there. Here's why: First of all we waited for an hour before the waiter came and took our orders, despite we tried to make contact with them. Then they finally got our order to the kitchen, but from there we waited 45 minutes for a plate of slices meat (which was delicious), but still too long, but it doesn't end there. After the platter with meat was taken away, we waited another 40-50 minutes on our first course (which again was delicious). After that my steak which were ordered "as rare as the chef allows" arrived after 30 minutes, welldone and dry. Luckily it was a good wine, so I just managed to squeeze it down. All in all, most of the food was good (except the overcooked steak), but the service wasn't acceptable. In their defence, it was a busy evening. So two stars it is.

This was a nice restaurant and perfectly passible for dinner. Unlike the warm and friendly restaurant across the road (which we ate at the night before but was shut on Tuesdays) this was very much a local restaurant. The service was abrupt and not very friendly but the food was tasty and we had a bottle of water, 50cl of wine, bruchetta to start, a pasta dish, a calzone pizza and a tiramasu. The bill was 40 euros.

A very varied menu including a wide range of pizzas, all super tasty and quite cheap. Lovely rustic ambiance, feels like family. Ample parking space outside but fills up quickly. It is quite popular. Take away available too.

Authentic pizzeria with attentive staff. We had antipasti, pistachio pasta, pizza. They were all extremely tasty. The prices were great, extremely affordable (pizza for 6/7 euros). During our dinner, many locals came to pick up their pizzas, a testament to the quality and taste of the food at Pinocchio. I had the Zuppe cozze and I recommend it to any fan of mussels!

Huge variety of pizzas made with different grains flours; great mix of traditional and modern style. Options include gluten free pizza, beer and other meals. Characteristic and genuine Sicilian place. Kind and proactive service. Too warm inside, ventilation system to be improved; but if you love good food, nothing will stop you...

Some of the best food on the island. Their pistachio gnocchi is on point! Pizzas are awesome as well. We always have a crew dinner there at least once every two weeks while visiting Sicily.

Lovely place, very friendly team and delicious food. We felt a bit confused at first when we have arrived as a wedding was ongoing at the lower terrasse. But everyone did. welcome us so friendly that we had a great evening. We had the choise between meat and fish menu and chose fish. Very delicious antipasti, very nice cocktail di crabs and very good fish noodles with mussels. At the end they shared a Vino frizzante and a big glass of grappa with us. Best experience. Really elegant restaurant, we have been there for a private event and really enjoyed both the food and the service. The selection of starters in particular was delicious and the ambience is stunning as well. Would definitely recommend for a special event.

Amazing food and atmosphere. They have on the website that it is open during Italian siesta. They aren't really open as most places in Italian during the siesta time. When we arrived, they welcomed us and told us that they did not send costumer away. Food and service had been amazing, and food had been prepared very fast.

Outdoor area is covered which was lucky for us because of the rain that started while we were having lunch. Very good local food.

We had lunch today while driving through this lovely town. Were disappointed with the quality of the food in relation to the price, and service was slow. They are prominently located on the piazza, and this helps them to attract clients. They have however good ice cream and pastries, their espresso was also excellent. Go for a drink, not for lunch.

We went there for dinner tonight and it was really the best choice! We nearly didn’t go due to previous reviews which would have been our loss! The guy serving us couldn’t be more polite or helpful if he tried - amazing! He also accommodated us in getting the chef to make a simple penne alla arrabbiata which was simply stunning! Too pricey! The prices are as high as the most expensive place in Taormina downtown or Palermo. This is crazy. We also had some extra change added and we don’t know what that’s for. The food wasn’t bad but so not worth it. Your bill will be twice as high as what you are expecting based on the menu prices.

Food poisoning. Coperto in the menu is 1.8eur, I paid 2.5 per person. Please avoid this place. EDIT to respond to owners reply: you were open yesterday and I have credit card confirmation of the visit. The fact that you’re accusing customers WHO ARE LEAVING MONEY AT YOUR PLACE to lie is PITIFUL and disrespectful.

Food was good the staff were pleasant and inviting. Desserts were fabulous. Waitress spoke fluent English which made it very easy to communicate. Recommend a stop if you're in the area.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table by, as we assume, the owner, who kindly checked in on us throughout our visit. We enjoyed delicious, home made pasta and an outstanding swordfish steak, along with fresh bread, tasty wine, and grilled vegetables (which were served cold what was a bit surprising since we expected them warm). Portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious. To finish, we had a delightful tiramisu for dessert. The staff and the owner were very friendly, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable:)

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and I was really looking forward to dining here. But... My insalata mista consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce and one slice of unripe tomato. I'd be embarrassed to serve that in my home. Meanwhile, my wife's tuna dish had some lovely tomatoes (so they did have some) and a great sweet and sour topping but the tuna was overcooked. My pasta was so-so. Perhaps the chef was on their day off when we ate here because it wasn't the wow that others say it is.

Amazing pizza and service! The guy making the pizza came to our table to make sure we'd look at the list of special pizzas and was always checking everything was up to standard. Pizzas were full of flavours, cakes were delicious and we had a really good time before visiting the town.

We just spent a very peaceful two nights with Cristof at his relaxed campsite. He is the perfect host being very friendly and informative. It is a beautiful setting amongst the olive groves with a gorgeous pool and patio area and a great restaurant where we ate until we felt like we were bursting. We definitely recommend it.

We stayed in the Farm Cabin (via airbnb) and absolutely loved it. The views are amazing and the Cabin has everything you need and is very clean and cozy. The pool area is beautiful and the food was SO good. Christof was the best host - always available and helpful with tips and recommendations. We would love to come back soon :) Thank you!!!!
