Outstanding restaurant! It sits up on a hill and it overlooks over the city. The food and atmosphere are great! The food is also delicious. First time reviewing this place but second time we’ve been here. This location is relatively new as they just moved here right after the height of COVID. Plenty of dining space and the patio area could probably be used for small events/parties. Staff is very friendly as well! Great place for a dinner date or for the entire family!

On our way from Etna, exhausted and hungry, we came across a nice wineyard with great rating. We went there and saw that all the staff was in the middle of preparation of the wedding. Despite it, a friendly guy approached us and after quick chat offered us a degustation of wine while apologizing for the turmoil in the place. Even though it was all suddem visit, he actually took time to say information about the wine tasted and in addition arranged a small improvised charcuterie board (which was actually huge and awesome) and side dishes as savory pies with ricotta, homemade pestos and aranchini and fries mozzarela. Everything was superb and the place was magical and i especially appreciate how kind they were to us eventhough there were preperations for a wedding. Deffinitely recomend. The wine was great, local and often from Etna region, which is a great souvenir from Sicily for every tourist. Deffinitely worth of the visit. The garden and vineyard were also very romantic.

We have been to this family operated restaurant multiple times. We have been on date nights and with groups. Food is always delicious and fresh. Some of the staff speak English which is nice for those who need translation or just a wine suggestion. If you are in the Catania area I suggest you make the drive to enjoy a nice dinner outside with cool mountain air and great views.

Great place with excellent service. We had pasta and spaghetti. We came a bit before opening hours and they welcome us. We had also gluten free spaghetti. They offer gluten free menu what was not so easy to find.

The atmosphere of this place is incredible, gorgeous decorations and live music, the plates decor is incredible too, the food itself made me and my friends sick, we got some meat and pizza, the service wasn’t amazing, overall an ok experience, we won’t go again as we are afraid to get sick, but maybe it was an occasional thing. Additionally it was really hard to find somewhere to park.

Wow! What a discovery. Very nice local and stylish Sicilian environment in a big restaurant, with traditional decorated saloons as well as a nice charming terrace surrounded by nature. Service good and gentle, food delicious! Probably the best bruschetta and Risotto I have ever tried. We really enjoyed and it’s a worth the trip given the restaurant is a bit lost in the woods, with a very cheap price compared to the quality you are getting!

This is such a wonderful place for any occasion! Whether you come for lunch, dinner, an event, or after a long day exploring Etna, this is THE PLACE to eat! You will first be welcomed with friendly staff who dress in Sicilian inspired clothing. You will also notice how this restaurant feels more like someone's home that is filled with many Sicilian symbols all along the walls. It has cozy fireplaces that they burn real wood in and the different rooms for different table sizes. The food comes out fast and for 30€ you get a meal fit for royalty! It starts with many appetizers that change throughout the year, then your first plate which gives you a good amount of pasta dish options to choose from, a second plate with lots of meat options, dessert, and a cafe or zibbibo at the end! Also, you have UNLIMITED drinks which you can choose Water (natural or sparkling), wine, and coke (at least that is what I ordered). You will come out feeling so full, but so happy. Feel free to walk around the restaurant or outside to relax a bit as well! You will not regret coming here and it is a MUST for anyone heading to or from Etna!

Super cute restaurant in an ex-olive oil and wine producing estate. Went for Sunday lunch and had €30 prixe fixe which included an appetizer with 10 different things to taste , 1st course, 2nd, and dessert. Drinks including wine, water, and liquor at the end included. Very generous portions. Quality pretty good but not stellar for Sicilian standards. Seemed like a great place to celebrate events. Many birthdays in motion.

Amazing place just next to the road to/from Etna, it was a lifesaver for us after a long active day haha. We got a Calabrese and a Buffata pizza and both tasted amazing. Hands down they were the best I got in Sicily. The prices are also super affordable, it's 12-15 euros for a pizza and for 5 euros you get a litre of coke. I highly recommend this place to close an Etna trip

Inside seating is for smaller groups and outdoor accommodates bigger reservations but both very nice. Food and beer was very good. Prices were decent. There is a small parking area and street parking. At peak hours you might have to drive up a bit to find parking. No seafood options but im not complaining. Will return again.

I went to this restaurant with some friends and we left shocked. The family that runs it could not care less about the customers. The tables and chairs were dirty, the food was really average for the area and the service was very rude. The owner at some point sat down with the family to eat and smoke in the middle of the restaurant. It looks like they are doing you a favour serving you. Never again!

Truly appalling customer service – we walked out in disbelief. We stopped here for dinner after a trip to Etna, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was dreadful. There was no signage, no welcome, no guidance – we wandered in and had to make an effort just to get noticed. Eventually, a waitress acknowledged us and seated us. We ordered some water and received menus. Barely two minutes later, another waitress approached to take our order – we were still reading the menu. She visibly rolled her eyes and walked away without a word. When she returned just a couple of minutes later, I placed an order for myself and my daughter. My husband, who speaks some Italian, was trying to communicate his choice politely and thoughtfully. As he paused for a few seconds to recall a word, the waitress sighed dramatically and gestured impatiently for him to hurry up. She then huffed loudly again, with clear frustration, leaving my husband flustered and embarrassed. When he asked her not to behave that way, she simply turned and walked off. Let me be clear: the restaurant was far from busy – only two other tables were seated, both already served – so there was absolutely no excuse for the sheer rudeness and hostility we were met with. There was zero patience, zero professionalism, and absolutely no effort made to engage with us as customers – let alone human beings. The interaction was so upsetting that we decided not to stay. We paid for the water and left, shocked and disappointed. Avoid this place if you expect even the most basic courtesy. We’ve never experienced such disrespect in any restaurant before.

Please avoid that place! Food was contaminated with human hairs, not just one dish but more than one. Owner is rude and has no clue of what hospitality means. Prices are ridiculously high for what is offered. It is just a trap for tourist, please avoid. I have already asked locals to report them to the ASL to verify if they really meet the required hygienic criteria.

Stopped here for a lunch whilst attempting to go to the mount Etna. Decent food, very large place (dispersive) but familiar environment. Mushroom soup is heavily recommended.

Best Carbonara in Sicily. We used to love the carbonara pizza but they have a new menu. The pizzas are all delicious and the pastas are fantastic. We especially love the Patate Speciali with the pistachio cream! We don’t speak a lot of Italian but the service is always helpful and take their time to help us in ordering. One of our favorite spots in the Catania area.

A great place to stay in the outskirts of Catania, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were really helpful and made us feel very welcomed. The room we had was a bit basic but that wasn’t an issue since the place is simply great. Highly recommended

Often when I book a hotel, it almost never is as nice as advertised. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. It is a true active farmhouse converted into a very nice bed and breakfast. I rode my motorcycle from Malta and I wanted to be close to Sigonella Naval Air Station. I arrived on a Thursday and was the only guest at that moment. The staff made me feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was a very nice table and chairs just outside the room in the sun which I used. I wanted to clean my Harley Davidson and the caretaker who spoke no English asked if he could help me. He even let me borrow tools to fix a maintenance problem I was having with the bike. I don't know about any one else's experience but the staff was the greatest!. What would I make better? Better Internet throughout the building. It was not available in my room which was annoying.

Wonderful place to spend a few nights. Service is fantastic, and the dinner was delicious. Only downside was that the shower within the room we stayed in had very little water pressure and was quite cramped.

Spent my last night before leaving sicily in this wonderful place and i can say it made me want to come back for sure. The staff were all very friendly and nice and made us feel welcome. The Tenuta is in the middle of its orange, lemon, olive (and i'm sure many more) fields and offers homemade jams and marmelade for breakfast (among other things) and meals prepared with their own produce (most notably a VERY tasty pasta with artichokes) and homemade liqueurs [do try the one made from mandarins, it is MAGICAL]. Very highly recommend it!

Centrally located restaurant in Via Roma, lovely decor and great service, pinse( typical rectangular pizza type bases) were great, cotoletta slightly dry but tasty. Clean and good value for money.

Etna wok is situated next to the ss121 highway in an industrial park (zona industriale) near the Etnapolis shipping centre. The mega restaurant is housed in what was a large warehouse and is impressive in its sheer size. A huge carpark surrounds the restaurant so parking is never a problem. On entry you can get overwhelmed by the magnitude of the dining hall which is more like an auditorium filled with dining tables. A staff member will take you to your table and take your drink orders. The buffet is located at the far back right of the hall and a stage is located in the centre. The buffet offers an extensive selection of Japanese sushi, a sampling of Chinese food (fried noodles, Dim sum, spring rolls), a huge range of seafood (oysters, muscles, crab, lobster, shrimp, climate, fish), Meat dishes, pasta, small salad bar choices, seasonal fruits, Italian sweets and gelatos. Drinks are extra and include such choices as mineral water, soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits and coffee. The pricing is conveniently located on the left side of the paper table mat. (See pictures) The staff are few in numbers but readily available to take drink offers. They are attentive and prompt in removing empty plates. The huge dining room can get very, very noisy when there are many diners, almost to the point of deafening .. not quite the place for a romantic, intimate date. They do offer a limited number of private dining rooms around the left and right size of the dining hall but I would expect you would need to book in advance for these. Everything about this place is on a grand scale except for the price. Lunch costs €9.90 (€12.90 on weekends and festive holidays) and Dinner costs €15.90. Drinks are extra. Be warned that if you do not eat all the food on your plate, for whatever reason, you will be charged €5 extra as a penalty! They have a loyalty card offering a free meal after dining there 10 times. They also advertise music, dancing and karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Overall the food is of reasonably good quality and all you can eat cheap. If you love seafood then this place is for you. Other choices may be limited and vegetarians might go hungry. The drinks is where they make their money but then you would expect this.

This is a low budget all-you-can-eat joint. As long as you walk in with that in mind you will be happy. Large variety of oriental dishes with a selection of sushi and regular dishes. Also offers a grill where you can select a variety of raw meats, seafood and vegetables that they'll grill up and bring to your table. Good place for kids, there's something for everyone.

This restaurant is extremely disorganized and lacks any standard of service. The front counter was chaotic, with people cutting in line and no signage to guide the ordering process. I ordered a coffee, and after paying, I received neither a receipt nor any confirmation. I stood waiting for several minutes. Even when the staff weren’t busy, no one started making my coffee. I had to remind them that I had ordered an Americano (which cost €2.80), at which point one of them finally began preparing it. I waited 35 mins for one chicken nugget happy meal. It was busy, but it was not packed. There were even open tables. I mean I didn't expect USA quality speed, but I thought 35 mins was mindblowing.

It took 20 minutes to be served our take out food, and they forgot to put a water bottle, 2 actimel as part of the happy meals, the straw for the milkshake and the spoon for the mc flurry. If you really need to buy from here make sure you check your order once you receive it.

We stopped at the drive through at around 11:20 pm, placed our order (1 menu, 1 sandwich and extra fries), paid, and got told to park and wait. In the meantime, 6 or 7 cars drive by from behind us, all getting their orders at the window.
