We dined at Nautika with high expectations, drawn in by its Michelin star reputation, stunning seaside location, and glowing reviews. And in many ways, the experience delivered. The food was truly excellent - each dish beautifully composed and full of flavour. The view alone is worth noting: a cinematic backdrop of a wooden sailboat gliding across the water, alpine swifts darting overhead, and a front-row seat to one of the most picturesque vistas in Dubrovnik. We were fortunate to enjoy our table for a leisurely three hours, which allowed us to truly settle in and soak up the setting. The staff were warm, gracious, and professional throughout, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary dessert bites and a sweet pomegranate liqueur to end the meal. That said, a few service details fell short of the fine dining standard one might expect at this price point. Our very kind sommelier seemed somewhat flustered - two of the wine pairings arrived mistimed, one after the dish and one well before. Our water glasses were left empty for long stretches early in the meal, and our napkins weren’t refolded when we left the table. Small things, perhaps, but they add up in a place that markets itself on perfection. In the end, we had a memorable evening, and the food was without fault. But with such a lofty reputation, I was hoping for just a bit more polish. Still, if you’re looking for an unforgettable setting and exquisite flavours, Nautika offers both - just know that your expectations may need a touch of calibration.

My jaws literally dropped when they showed us to the table. The views were stunning. Go early so you can see the the transition from day to night and watch the birds soaring effortlessly. The food became incidental in that glorious setting but were overall of a good standard

Ante and Nautika was absolutely fantastic. My fiance and I just recently got engaged, and so this was our engagement dinner. Atmosphere was incredible, food was perfect, and the entire staff treated as like royalty. They let us be comfortable which is what you want at a fine dining restaurant. Overally, 6/5 star, Ante is a 20/5 star.

Arrived at 7:00 PM on Sep 24th, 2025. Overall, the food and service were good, but when I pointed out a fly in the red wine, the sommelier with the thick glasses and a receding hairline joked, “A fly! Flies know good wine too,” and never apologized. Then, instead of bringing a new bottle, they poured me the sediment from the bottom of the remaining red wine. I felt the sommelier's level was not matching the restaurant's standard. While satisfied with other aspects, I sincerely hope for improvement. I write this review hoping it reaches the attention of the restaurant's management.

Have been there the other day. The view is stunning when we walked in we were seated at a table overlooking the bay. I saw waiters chatting with customers and taking pictures for customers. I thought it would be a wonderful night. But there was no waiter chatting with us because we do not drink wine, when they realized they would not be upselling the wine to us they completely lost interest in our table. Even the waiters watched us take group photos, they did not offer to help. So rude, it felt a bit elitist to be honest. The food was just ok the service is not good at all. Please prepare to spend a few hundred per person or you will be ignored by staff, it was not particularly busy at the time but all staff were focused on a single other table.

An unforgettable fine dining experience! Nautika exceeded all our expectations — from the breathtaking views to the exceptional food and service. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the quality was simply outstanding. The flavors, textures, and attention to detail were on par with — if not better than — several Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve tried around the world. And that says a lot, considering we’re residents of the UAE and have experienced some top-tier dining. The staff were not only professional and attentive, but also genuinely warm, friendly, and even a bit entertaining — which added a relaxed charm to the refined setting. The view overlooking the Adriatic and the city walls made the evening even more magical. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had — highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Views from of the old walls and fortress from the terraces were superb and the service level was unquestionable. We had both tasting menus avaion the day and whilst some courses were exceptional overall I'd say you're paying mostly for the location and experience they offer rather than the food itself.

What an incredible surprise in the countryside! This restaurant is set right next to a waterfall, and the atmosphere is absolutely magical. Walking through the little streets outside, we saw olive trees and fig trees everywhere, and once seated, we could hear the sound of the waterfall and feel the refreshing breeze. Some of the servers were dressed in traditional outfits, which added to the authentic charm. They even have a traditional outdoor kitchen where you can watch the food being prepared, plus aqua ducks, fish swimming in the crystal-clear water—you can see all the way to the bottom! The food itself was outstanding. Their veal dish with vegetables was cooked to perfection. I’m usually a small portion eater who never finishes my plate, but this time I did—and I couldn’t resist their flan dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Even the restrooms impressed me—spotlessly clean, modernly finished, and with toilet paper that had a flower pattern! That kind of attention to detail shows how selective the owner must be when it comes to choosing the highest quality for everything, including the ingredients. A truly memorable experience that combines nature, tradition, and amazing cuisine. Highly recommended!

We stopped here on spec for lunch. The best tables by the river were reserved but we still got a good view. While we were there two cruise parties arrived but didn’t stay very long. Service was good and the food was excellent. Great chips! The location added to the experience. Dragonflies and butterflies fluttering everywhere.

Really get experience at the Eco Restaurant - we were in the area looking into some winery tastings, when we also came upon this restaurant - the concept intrigued us, so gave it a try. In the hills surrounded by greenery, the restaurant runs along this waterway with outdoor tables and fantastic views, and an old mill still in operation. It is expensive but for the originality of the place it is worth coming to eat there once during the holiday.

Very nice food, i and all of my family loved it all. the meat was so good ,the wine was nice all this place so buitifull. i like all 100/100. My life became better!

We visited Konavoski Dvori on the rainiest day of our stay in Dubrovnik — and somehow, the heavy rain made the atmosphere even more magical. The venue is absolutely lovely, with a charming riverside setting that felt cozy and serene despite the weather. We started with two appetizers: the ravioli with mushrooms and the gnocchi in tomato sauce. Both were delicious — full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, the main course didn’t live up to the starters. The slow-cooked beef was unexpectedly tough and quite chewy, which was a bit disappointing. Overall though, the experience was enjoyable. It’s worth visiting, especially if you’re looking to escape the city and enjoy a peaceful meal in nature.

Beautiful place! Truly magical! Drinks were great! I got the one with passion fruit. Also had the octopus salad! They have kids menu, what more can you ask for! I recommend for everyone visiting.

This restaurant is a little bit hard to locate but it's in a nice spot where it's away from the crowds. We tried the meatballs, the chicken tacos and pork tostadas, the k pop chicken sliders, the caulifower popcorn and chicken panko donburi. I didn't care for the meatballs or the pork tostadas. The sliders were good and so was the chicken donburi. Service was extremely slow and they weren't very busy. Our bill with drinks was 117 Euros which wasn't too bad for the Old Town restaurants. Overall, it was a decent meal, but not one of our favorites.

We, two adults and two boys age 13 and 16, had a real nice diner here. The menu is pretty accessible, but certainly with a much better taste than standard. We ordered the green curry, one mixed seafood, and two crunchy chicken with sushi rice. All dishes were appreciated! As dessert we had a tiramisu and cheesecakes. Both very tasty. Azur is located on the side of old town. It felt less warm here, maybe due to our table in a slight draughty alley. Would definitely come here again.

Croatian and Asian fusion sounded suuuper interesting so I had to try this spot out! For the starter I got the Cauliflower Popcorn. The crispiness was on point it was so good, and the sumac yogurt and tonkotsu they put on top complimented it really well. For the main I was really hoping to try the Swordfish but they did not have it :( I got the Meatballs in Coconut Curry which was great as well! Meatballs were soft and curry was flavorful. I did get a warning that it may be spicy but I did not think it was spicy at all. I would also say the dish could use a little more curry to the meatball ratio. To drink I had a p*rn star martini which was so intensely flavorful I was really impressed by it. Kinda wanted a second one but held myself back LOL For dessert I tried their chocolate tart topped with pistachios which I thought was fine. It was like a double layer of mousse and dark chocolate ganache which was fun!

I have to admit being somewhat nervous when my wife suggested going to an Asian-Croatian fusion restaurant. As usual: men, listen to your better half!! The service was absolutely excellent, great advice on the menu, and local wine selection. However, the food served, for me, was by far the best I ate in the Old Town, after a week's stay. Starter, main course and dessert were out of this world, as was the white wine, recommended by the waiter! Thanks to you all!

Food was literally the best that I’ve ever eaten. The seafood was perfect. We got the laksa, tuna tostadas and K-pop chicken sliders. SOOOO GOOOD!! The service was also incred and the vibes were amazing. Can not recommend this place enough.

If you eat anywhere in Dubrovnik, eat here! The Chicken Panko was to die for! It’s a Asian fusion resturant. While slightly expensive, everything was delicious and our entire party loved it. This was just what we needed to change things up after two weeks of traditional Balkan food. We are both lunch and dinner here. The staff was so lovely. We left our bags here over the day as we explored Dubrovnik, and they let us sit inside, borrow pencils and overall took great care of us. They were so nice and gave honest recomendations for their favourites on the menu. A big thank you to the waitress who told me to take the Chicken Panko instead of the Salmon, and brought me extra siracha mayo🙏🏻

It is an incredible experience with excellent service and fantastic wine options. I even got to meet the chef which was pretty exciting. The food was very unique and showcased incredible skill and taste. We had a nice view and will definitely come back if ever back in Dubrovnik.

Overall, a great experience. Some courses lacked the “wow” factor, but overall the menu was creative and enjoyable. The highlights were definitely the sea urchin, ravioli and the octopus — all exceptional. The biggest miss was the bread, which was quite dry and chewy. It was also a bit odd to receive a sweet palate cleanser before the entrée. The dessert was ok. Putting something that is not edible on it (the star anise) was odd. Service was friendly and fast.

This really is a phenomenal and noteworthy Restaurant. Our waiter Daniel was fabulous, he delivered a high end and professional service. I wasn't expecting all of the extras like the duck Confit and sea urchin amuse bouches, or the foie gras Ferrero roche and snail coffee shots. The chef came and checked on our experience and added the lobster nectar to our mains. The octopus starter was honestly the most amazing octopus I've ever tasted. It wasn't just a party in my mouth it was a full on festival of flavour and celebration. An absolute must visit if you're ever in Dubrovnik I would 100% return.

We ordered capon, black squid risotto, pasticada. All were served and plated very nicely and it was such an enjoyable dining experience. After having experienced poor customer service at another restaurant, I was worried I would anticipate something similar here but that was not the case at all! Waiting staff here were friendly and made us feel very comfortable and provided a very enjoyable dinner for us. The surroundings of this restaurant are very serene as well. Would recommend to visit here !

Decided to come here because I saw it when walking around and then a YouTube recommendation. They had set menu option that included a Mediterranean Salad, Capon in mushroom with gnocchi and Dubrovnik Cake (almond and orange). The server at the beginning was excellent. He recommended I try the pre set meal. Each course had tons of flavor and was very good. When you price out anything else on the menu to match this, it’s an excellent deal. I gave service 1 star because the waiter that closed me out scoffed at my tip. Maybe he watched cash, or because I’m American 20%. But what a way to ruin an otherwise excellent experience. Without that clown it’s 5 stars all day from every angle.

Service was polite but inconsistent—staff seemed distracted at times, and we waited longer than expected between courses. One major downside was the number of flies and bees swarming around the outdoor tables. It was difficult to enjoy the meal while constantly swatting insects away, and it made the experience feel more stressful than relaxing. For a restaurant of this caliber, we expected better pest control. The wine recommendation was a highlight and paired well with the meal. Overall, Kopun offers a pleasant setting and a menu rooted in tradition, but the uneven service, modest portions, and insect issue detracted from the experience. Worth visiting for the location, but not a must-return.

The food, service and atmosphere were extraordinary. This is a popular restaurant in a busy location so reservations are essential. I had the house specialty, capon, so delicious. My wife had the seafood stew and loved it.

Restaurant Kopun is an excellent restaurant at a very scenic location near the highest point in Dubrovnik. The staff is very attentive, and attended to our large group very well! The food was delicious, and everyone in my group enjoyed their meal. I had the sea bass, which was very fresh – it probably was caught earlier that day.

I took my sister here as a birthday treat and while we hadn’t booked, we still managed to get a table. It might just have been us but I’m pretty sure the hostess took one look at us dressed in casual wear and didn’t want us eating there 😂 - she said she only had one table right at the back of a side street. Which was funny because another couple turned up shortly after and they got a better seat 🤷🏻‍♀️ However, we weren’t deterred. We shared the fish soup and the truffle croquette which were both delicious. I’d easily have had those again. For mains, my sister had catch of the day which was sea bass and I had the black risotto. It was good but rich and a little too salty. This place is pretty pricey especially if you add wine on top. Service was efficient and professional (apart from the hostess) and we enjoyed our meal.

Undoubtedly one of the best seafood restaurants i’ve ever been to. Aside from the cozy ambience the restaurant has, their seafood is crazy delicious and fresh. The Shrimps are veryyyyy sweet and Lobsters were sooo buttery and tender. The waiter also was very kind to tell me not to over-order their menu, highly considerate of him.

Restaurant Proto in Dubrovnik truly deserves the highest praise! Beautiful restaurant in the heart of the old town. Recommended booking a table in advance for the upstairs terrace. The food was very good - although catering for allergies could be better (plain grilled fish comes up a lot in Croatia). Service was excellent.

One of the best restaurants we’ve dined at in Dubrovnik, highly recommend coming here if you’re in town. The service was excellent and our server was very helpful in giving us recommendations on what to try. We ordered oysters and beef carpaccio to start. Then had Grilled Sea Bass, Fettuccine with Scampi and Black Truffles, and Oven Roasted Octopus Tentacles. All the main dishes were wonderful but the octopus tentacles was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life, I didn’t even know you can make octopus that tender! Finished off with a couple of desserts, one that was kinda like a lava cake but filled with a pistachio sauce and then a serving of chocolate mousse. Great ambiance especially with the terrace seating.

Bistro Tavulin offers excellent food with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The location near the Old Town is very pleasant, and prices are quite reasonable for Dubrovnik. The only downside was the service – polite but distant and a bit cold. Still, definitely worth a visit.

Very nice place to enjoy a dinner with your lovebird. We were hungry and tired of wandering around the whole day. We've found the perfect place to try some dishes out. The main dish with carrots (vegetables dish) is a hit. So creamy and tasty. The chicken was not dry at all. The tiramisu was not necessary I have to say, cause we were full, but my sweet tooth can't help themselves. Plus, very nice service!

I had possibly the best pasta I’ve ever had, and DH had the octopus salad which came with a generous serving of octopus and apparently it was really well cooked. We didn’t prebook but it was quiet, midday midweek. So glad we decided to eat here.

Good quality food with great service. Unsure whether this place should be on the Michelin guide because the experience was average, but all in all - great location and it was easy to get a table for lunch in peak season.

Lovely beach club with wonderful, friendly staff. Beds are so comfy and luxurious. Water is crystal clear and refreshing after laying in the sun. Ice cold drinks served straight to your bed. We are on a cruise and came here for the day whilst docked in Dubrovnik. Incredible views from water and calm, peaceful atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and would come back again! We went there for lunch. It was really perfect and you can enjoy your cocktails and you can swim at the same time and also we came back the second day to enjoy the dinner, but really didn’t like it. The food was really bad. The octopus was burnt and the tuna was overcooked which wasn’t delicious at all so apparently it is not the same chef. The service was OK so I really recommend this place for lunchtime not dinner.

Tiny beach with a beach club. Was told by my friends that if you want to pay for the 2 bed and umbrella it's 70€ for the beach which is not sand and is cramped and you have no space whatsoever and nothing special really it's no worth it. We stayed on the other side instead. Which was also overly crowded. To the owner of the club: you misunderstood me. I went there with my daughter. I did not enquire about the price since my friend and her family did and she told me about the cost, we decided to stay on the side where there is no bed and lay our towels on the sand. I have travelled in many MANY countries, and in other UNESCO sites and the offering was better in size, quality, product, for about everything and when you had to pay for beds it was actually paying for food and drinks and the beds were then included. You never had to pay only for bed. There was no service on the beach, it is overcrowded and clients have no space, and unfortunately price is part of what is considered in the offering. Agree to disagree with you.

I understand it’s a beach restaurant, so I wasn’t expecting gourmet food — but the quality still fell far below reasonable expectations, especially considering the high prices. The burger and the minced beef in the bolognese tasted like they were made from frozen ingredients. Maybe they weren’t, but that’s how they came across — bland, textureless, and not fresh. What made the experience worse was the service. I asked for something as basic as Tabasco or chili flakes, and after about 12 minutes, they came back saying they couldn’t find any. One of the staff members even looked visibly annoyed when I asked for simple things like a napkin, an extra plate, or takeaway packaging. That kind of attitude really takes away from the experience. Not all staff may be at fault, but between the food and the service, this was a disappointing visit that I wouldn’t repeat or recommend.

The waiter told us that ordering only drinks without lunch can not be assigned the table outside in 2.00 p.m, and his attitude was rude, but we’ve seen lots of guests did so. No waiters or waitresses came to us by 30 minutes of waiting by the table. If above experience can not be explained by terrible service to every guest, I think it is racial discrimination!

Great place for authentic Croatian food, and you can sit right on the river. They’ve also recently renovated their bathrooms which are very nice now. There’s a huge parking lot too.

This place was one of a highlights our visit in Croatia. Amazing local white wine. Boar and beef were delicious. Homemade style bread was another pleaser. Ox tail soup gentle and not overwhelming with spices. View and dining space on the river was relaxing.

We had a wonderful dinner inside the warm and authentic interior of Konoba Vinica Monković. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a charming traditional touch that immediately makes you feel welcome. We started with a selection of local cheeses and a prosciutto pâtthe, perfect introduction, full of rich, balanced flavors that highlighted the quality of local ingredients. For the main course, we enjoyed rib-eye steak and rump steak in olive oil. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, the meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. A real treat for any meat lover. To finish, we indulged in a perfectly molten lava cake and figs in red wine, which were both absolutely delightful and a memorable end to the meal. Special thanks to our waiter Luka, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional, his service truly elevated the experience. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to enjoy authentic Konavle and Dalmatian cuisine in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be back.

The beef baby ribs were tender and full of flavor, and the lamb chops were simply amazing. Even the natural fries were perfectly crispy. The fresh bread was a lovely touch. Dining next to the river made the whole experience even more special. Great service too — definitely a 5-star experience!

Excellent service, beautiful location, and fabulous fresh food! Everything was delicious! I can highly recommend the fish special which had soup, pate and grilled fish with potato and leek and it was all delicious! This was a nice and cozy restaurant. Both the food and the atmosphere were calming, and hearing the river flow in the background was truly refreshing. The wait staff was also very welcoming.

We had such a wonderful time at Dubravka 1836! The food was incredibly delicious, and the wine was incredible! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, overlooking the sea and the historic walls of Dubrovnik. The staff was very kind, though it was a bit busy during the day, so they were understandably occupied. One of the sweetest moments was when two lovely girls offered to take a picture of my boyfriend and me. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and now we have this adorable photo to remember our delicious meal with a breathtaking view. I know why this restaurant is the highest rated in Dubrovnik. From the minute I walked in, all staff are attentive and friendly. The host Ema was super nice and gave time to give recommendations. The waiter Juraj provided outstanding service. I had the fish menu on their special edition Good Food menu running until 19 October. Everything was just delicious and well curated.

This is located just outside the Pile gate and whilst we only had tea and coffee, the food being served looked excellent. The service is prompt. The prices are probably less than half of anywhere inside the city walls, so would recommend eating and drinking here for the sake of a 20 second walk from the gate. The restaurant site has fantastic views across the side of the city walls and out to sea, and is to the west side of the city so gets a nice amount of sun most of the day after say 9am.

We ate here for four days during our trip to Dubrovnik. The pizzas are classic Neapolitan style and absolutely delicious. In particular the Burrata pizza to which I added proscuitto was amazing. The grilled vegetables are also a great addition. The staff are kind and attentive and the service is very quick. The views at sunset are beautiful with all the birds coming out and the atmosphere is calm but not dead. The prices are also very reasonable, especially in comparison with other mediocre, overpriced Dubrovnik food. Would highly reccomend.

I orders meat set comprising of starter, main dish and dessert. Every dish is exceptional! Total price for this set is 35Euro. Reservation needed to make sure that you will get the table. We had a wonderful vegan and vegetarian (egg-free) lunch at Dubravka, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Dubrovnik! The staff were warm and welcoming, the ambience was beautiful with a lovely view of the sea and city walls, and the food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. It was such a pleasant surprise to find great options for plant-based diners, and we truly appreciated the care taken to accommodate our dietary preferences. A perfect spot for a relaxed meal with a view — highly recommended!

Hands down one of my favorite dinners! Our waiter was hilarious, the food was delicious and the view was fantastic! Why not eat here! The prices were generally reasonable too for this expensive area

Worth the price. The food was also delicious with an amazing view. They upgraded us to a front row view too which made the experience even better. Make sure to book well in advance to get a good seat and time. Staff were attentive. Check on the day whether it’s cheaper to get a taxi or the cable car up as we found taxis to be same price as a round trip.

Don’t miss this gem. We were really looked after well after our hike up the mountain. The service is brilliant, food delicious and the views are incredible! There’s a varied menu to choose from and prices are good value considering the location and quality of food. The chairs are not very comfortable which is a shame as it would have been nice to relax more. Take a jacket or similar as it can be breezy up there. Make sure you book for food, but you can enjoy a drink at the bar otherwise.

From start to finish, our experience at Panorama was absolutely incredible. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the whole evening feel special. The view at sunset overlooking the city is breathtaking, and the food matched the scenery — full of flavor and beautifully presented. We shared the ribeye with an extra side of vegetables, and it was simply spectacular. Drinks were equally as beautiful & incredible! A must-visit for anyone looking for amazing food paired with unforgettable views.

Although this was definitely the most expensive of our meals (due to being reached by cable car), not many, if any, could offer a similar view. We arranged our visit to coincide with sunset, several months before and we were not disappointed, nor were we with the food. Selection, service and quality were all exceptional, as well as the waiters knowledge of the wine list. This is definitely an experience worth doing and one that will stay with you forever.

Need i say more? What's not to love? This restaurant is awesome. We took the cable car up-what a fantastic little trip with views to die for. We were early so we sat and listened to the live music at the amphitheater type setting while enjoying a drink. Servers were engaging, they were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was spot on!!! Almost forgot to mention...we had the best seats, with no unobstructed views of the city!

Absolutely stunning view over Dubrovnik - truly breathtaking! You can see the old town on one side and the mountains of Bosnia on the other. The food was okay, but the drinks were delicious. We asked to change our table, and the staff kindly moved us without any problem. Honestly, it’s worth coming here just for the view - it’s that amazing!

Sooo... this is just an exceptional experience. The food was very good, the staff were helpful and patient and the setting is just absolutely one of the most stunning locations on the planet. We got a last-minute reservation that opened up the day before. Just wonderful. There is indoor seating available, but if you can her on a clear day, it is unparalleled. Reservations recommended.

The spring rolls were very oily when you cut into them - the temperature of the oil must not have been correct. However, the beef fillet was delicious!!!! If you get anything you have to get that. Tuna was delicious and the gluten free cake was great.

We visited the restaurant by the recommendation of our host. The setting is very contemporary, quiet and warm. Our waitress was super welcoming. She explained more details about the different dishes which helped my parents decide what to get. Each meal had unique flavors and a great presentation. Loved it!

One of the most exceptional restaurants in Dubrovnik. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was absolutely outstanding – every dish was bursting with flavor and prepared with the freshest ingredients. We ordered beef and fish steak, salad, bread and almond brittle - divine.

Pantarul was a peaceful escape just outside Dubrovnik 🍷✨ I came on a weekday evening with a reservation but noticed they had room for walk-ins too. The space was quiet, clean, and welcoming. The fish tartare came out on a warm plate, which was such a thoughtful touch 🐟🔥—fresh and full of flavor. The beef tagliata was tender and paired beautifully with the pepper jam 🥩🌶️. I tried the octopus special too, which was super fresh, though the cheese on top was a bit too much for me 🐙🧀. Ended on a high note with the whipped caramel almond brittle—so light and fluffy with the perfect crunchy sweet topping 🍮✨ While everything was tasty, the prices made it a bit hard to justify overall. Still, worth a visit if you’re looking for a calm, elevated meal outside the city!

Food was great, atmosphere was even better being next to the port, but what made it really outstanding was Igor the waiter, he was very nice, funny and understanding, we even came back again eating twice on the same day regardless of the number of restaurants in the old town.

Food was great apart from my husband's gambas was undercooked. We told the waiter (which we forgot to get the name, very short hair young man). He was insisting that it was cook in his opinion but we took a photo anyway. Then he sarcastically told us he'll give us 10 instead of accepting that it was really undercook. It was a shame coz we would still order desserts and drinks if not bcox of this arrogant waiter. An apology would be beneficial for customers and business.

I just read some of the other (negative) comments, and I can’t confirm these. Staff was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. It started raining when we where there, so they had to fix the umbrellas, and apologised several times that they could not take the order immediately. Which did not matter since the view of the harbour is great. With the rain and a bit of luck you can even see a rainbow. Seafood is really good (whitebait fish and grilled calamari), the portions are very generous and also reasonably priced for a destination such as Dubrovnik. Beer was fresh and good, they offer a number of cocktails, and their price is maybe the only thing to criticise. Otherwise I really recommend this place

While this restaurant may be more on the pricey side for some, the food was incredible. Complimentary warm pumpkin soup drinks to start, along with bread. We had the goats cheese bread and baked cannelloni to start with, and the flavours were amazing. I then had the steak which was perfectly cooked to my liking and also had amazing flavours! Some of the best food I have ever had. And cant go without complimenting the staff for their knowledge of food and lovely service! Would recommend booking too

Excellent peaceful haven in the heart of the Old Town. Not cheap, but what is in Dubrovnik??? It is great value in that the quality of the food, the service and the ambience bring the dining experience to a higher level. Mali Ston oysters are superb, and we enjoyed crab salad, lamb shanks and Kubla Khan steak. Tender and juicy. Accompanied by some local reds which are excellent. Couldn’t resist the lemon tart and pistachio cheesecake, a deconstructed dessert with raspberry compote to balance the flavour of the pistachio. An excellent meal!!

A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at Marco Polo Cuisine. We had an incredible evening at Marco Polo Cuisine! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server Kenan made the experience outstanding - his recommendations were absolutely perfect. We started with fresh Ostrea Edulis oysters and a blue crab cannoli salad, both bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Truffle shrimp pasta and For our mains, we enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak and a sesame-crusted tuna that was seared to perfection and full of texture and taste. To finish, we shared the pistachio raspberry cheesecake, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — made even better with the amazing dessert wine Kenan paired for us. Every detail, from the food to the service, was thoughtfully executed. Highly recommend Marco Polo Cuisine for anyone looking for a refined, memorable meal with exceptional service. We'll definitely be back!

Whilst on our visit to the old town in Dubrovnik we discovered this Michelin rated restaurant. Luckily amongst all the reserved tables they found us a table for two in the courtyard. We enjoyed a local Rose wine and settled in to enjoy our meal. Starting with an amuse bouche of roasted tomato soup. Really nice. This was followed by our main meal which started with a sumptuous bruschetta adorned not just with tomato's but prosciutto ham, olives and a peach jam. Delicious. Then my wife had a seafood pasta dish and I had a variety of seafood in tempura batter. Very crisp, unctuous and full of well cooked fresh seafood. The service was first class and its fair to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our discovery of ' Marco Polo'. The 4 rating on atmosphere was due to the fact we were the only diners to start with.

As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived, they saw how freezing I am and one of the staff blasted the heating which I believe was very sweet. The menu wasn't very big so it wasn't difficult to pick the food out of it. Our waiter, Miki (hopefully I didn't butcher his name), was so attentive and providing us the information that we need. Then comes the wine which my partner ordered Dingac-Matusco, the BEST wine I have ever tasted in my life. We also ordered the arancini which was so nice and well-seasoned. My partner ordered the lamb which I love as it was very tender and flavourful and he loved my order duck breast. I am particularly just not into the food being seasoned with salt but otherwise didn't really ruin the whole experience. The onions which I don't normally like has just become the star of my plate. Then, finally the pistachio cheesecake which was a dream for me as I really love pistachio and it was creamy and not overly sweet. Thank you for a very pleasant experience Marco Polo and we are looking forward to seeing you again on out next trip to Dubrovnik.

We had dinner at Marco Polo on our first night in Dubrovnik, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. We began with the baked goat cheese, which was incredibly flavorful—garlicky, perfectly roasted, and simply delicious. For our mains, we split the monkfish Wellington and the lamb dish, and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. Both were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and offered such a thoughtful mix of textures and taste profiles. We ended the night with a lemon tart that struck the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, paired beautifully with a glass of Croatian white wine. The service was exceptional—Kenan was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome. His descriptions of each dish added to the experience and made our selections even more enjoyable. The setting on the quiet, intimate patio made everything even better. It was cool, calm, and just what we needed after a long travel day. Highly recommend Marco Polo for anyone visiting Dubrovnik. I had a wonderful meal at Marco Polo. Good local wine recommendations to go along with the Adriatic Seared Tuna. Lovely experience my first night in old town. Service was great as well. Plus there were several item on the menu I would go back for.

I had high hopes for the Octopus Burger, especially after seeing it featured on Somebody Feed Phil and reading the glowing reviews on Google. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The octopus flavor was barely noticeable, and the bread-to-filling ratio felt off, too much bun. The fish was decent but didn’t stand out in any memorable way. On the bright side, the service was excellent and made the experience more enjoyable overall.

I ordered takeout twice and dined in once. Overall, the food is tasty and worth coming back for. I personally wasn’t impressed by the octopus burger, but their anchovies are absolutely the best. You can substitute the side for french fries. I also tried the calamari, which were good. Dine-in wait time was around 15–20 minutes, and the food came out fairly quickly. Takeout was ready in about 10 minutes. I’d come again, even after 3 times. I saw people eat their take out on the staircase next to the restaurant.

The place is super cozy, I did not expect it to be so good and original. We tried the octopus burger and it was a hit, although for my taste it had too much bread. It is a family business and the guy who served us could not have been nicer, he knew many languages and they make you feel at home. I would repeat a thousand times.

Brilliant experience here. We ordered the sharing platter which came with the octopus burger (cuttlefish ink bun!), fired fish, calamari, fried prawns, octopus salad (this was soso refreshing), potato salad, anchovies and pate on bread and a choice between fresh oysters or fried oysters (we opted for both). This was such a unique platter and we would love to come here again and order the same thing! It was quite a small restaurant and was fairly popular so you may need to wait a bit but they did work quick and the staff are so welcoming. You can also do takeout as well! - We saw some people order takeout and have this by the ocean, which would be lovely! What I loved is that they did not skimp out on the portions, it was so packed and we loved every bite! They also have wooden forks available to decorate the restaurant, which is so fun while you wait and it makes time go by so quick!

Octopus burger? Unreal. Barba nails the perfect combo of casual street food and authentic Dalmatian seafood. Fast service, chilled music, and portions that hit the sweet spot after walking the city walls. Get the tuna sandwich and wash it down with a cold local beer. Simple, creative, and spot-on.

Despite waiting around 2 hours for the main course, everything was nice. The soup was good and worth the price. For the main, I chose past with sea food and worth the wait.The staff are friendly and kind but for some reason there was something wrong in the kitchen and the order was not taken, that’s the reason of the delay and that can happen sometimes.

We had a stroll down to the harbour and found this little gem. Didn't book but they found a table and seated us with a welcome attitude. Ordered our food I had soup to start followed by steak and my partner had seafood pasta. Both meals were cooked to perfection, well worth a visit and great views overlooking the harbour. Lovely little restaurant right next to the pier that has a lot of tasty seafood options. Decided to try a traditional black cuttlefish risotto and was not disappointed! My husband ordered the calamari (as a main dish not an appetizer) and was also very happy with how it was cooked and the delicious dipping sauce that came with. Both plates were very generous portions we were unable to finish but which were thoroughly enjoyed. Not a chewy piece of seafood in sight! Our waiter was a little difficult to get a hold of when it came time to ask for the bill but otherwise service was friendly and we enjoyed our dinner overall.

Highly recommend! ... This is our second visit. We enjoyed lunch with friends earlier this week, and returned this evening for a very romantic meal for two. The location is superb with wonderful views over the marina. The delicious food is of the highest standard and service was friendly and professional. All in all a great experience... What truly makes this place special are the waiters of the old school — professionals who know their craft, recognize returning guests, and remember exactly what you like, even if it’s only your second visit. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare these days. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, good vibes, and real hospitality!

Burrata was tasty, steak was booked medium rare as asked for but lacked any seasoning. Black risotto with cuttlefish was ok. The cuttlefish was not cleaned properly and occasionally you got a sandy bite. There was a hard piece of shell that was also in the risotto which threw everything off. Views were fantastic though.

Amazing food in the center of Dubrovnik. Every dish we had is very good. The molten chocolate cake is a must have. Ivan, our server, is very attentive and gave excellent recommended for the wine to pair our meal. Highly recommended.

Not Sure How This Made the Michelin Guide... We went in with high hopes and left pretty disappointed. The service was poor. Our waiter didn't ask if we wanted a bottle of wine or just glasses. Then when the wine arrived, it was just the glasses—no bottle presented, and we had to flag someone down to get a top-up later. The food had some major issues. The fish tartare was just okay, but there was a fish scale in it. But the biggest issue was on the cheese plate. We actually found a piece of paper mixed in with the cheese! The beef steak was fine, nothing special. Overall, it was a pretty below-average experience. For a place that's supposed to be on the Michelin radar, I was expecting so much more attention to detail. It definitely didn't live up to the hype. We paid 150 euros for it.

100% recommend, an all round winner for amazing food, tentative and friendly service as well as a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. We had a brilliant dining experience where quality food was served throughout the evening! We were very lucky to be served by Romana and Marco who did a fantastic job recommending us dishes that were perfect for our preferences and always checking that everything was ok for us - as well as helping us take photos! Best in class service as both went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. Thank you for the memorable experience which was worth every penny spent!

Absolutely best resto in all of Dubrovnik! Food is off the chart, 6 consecutive years Michelin rated. Pleasant music, culturally sensitive and friendly, respecting local customs. Cannot say enough about the food! You must try for yourself. My niece and I sampled local wines, array of marinated olives, burrata salad and white fish fillet with tomatoes and capers. The baked potato and bacon was simply sublime. IVAN’s service made us loyal customers upon first visit. Will return, for sure, many times!

Amazing staff, very kind. Food is good but didnt have the "wow effect" I usually have in this kind of Restaurants. Beef Risotto is good but nothing special. In general still nice for a night out.

We saw the Michelin recommendation and just walked in without checking on the google reviews… The calamari is ok, but the shrimp pasta is really not flavourful. I suspect the chef forgot to add salt in this dish. Besides, the pasta itself is very dry. I would imagine there should be more sauces, as the other old pictures shown on google map. We don’t think this meal deserves the tip but the card machine kind of “forces” us to tip at least 10%…. We know usually there is a function to manually type the tip amount but we cannot read croatian so… Anyway the food quality is ok but the price is on the high end side.

We had a good lunch experience here. The food was nice and the service was friendly. We orders some tapas dishes here. We ordered 4 tapas dishes and bread for the two of us and that was plenty for lunch.

Stopped by for sweet tooth quick fix! Bumped into a norwegian family - father & daughter. (Just a side note; thank you sir for giving up your seats to us, we truly appreciated the kind gestures). It was raining & freezing out there and we came in for crepes. Had chocolate crepes & hot cappuccinos. Simply the best in Dubrovnik!

Absolutely the best treat we had in Dubrovnik. Dolce Vita is tucked away just off Stradun, with a number of tables inside and out. We had the pancake with ice cream and fresh fruit as well as the chocolate cherry pancakes with whipped cream. Both were amazing! The fresh fruit was perfect, freshly sliced and chilled, and the ice cream was divine (they feature Dubrovnik's most elegant array of gelatos). The chocolate cherry filling in the other order of pancakes was delicious. Not overly sweet, with bits of fresh cherries for a little tartness. What a wonderful hidden treasure inside the walls of Old Town!

Good quality ice cream. Some of the cheapest in the city. Slightly high on the sugar content but great overall. The pancakes looked delicious and affordable (also, good portion sizes and choice of toppings). Seating available both indoors and outdoors. Recommended!

HIDDEN GEM - MUST GO! Forget all the other shops that claim to be best - go to Dolce Vita and experience the best. It’s in one of the bylanes and easy to miss so watch out. Their prices are lower than the rest but their taste and portions are superlative! We had their dark chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio flavour ice cream - it was SO creamy - had an absolute blast relishing it. It apparently also won some award in 2018 - and rightly deserves it! We also had iced latte here in the morning which was OK.

Absolutely amazing ice cream! The location was in the heart of the old town and they had an amazing selection of flavours and food! They had a toilet in there and the inside was air conditioned which was very nice for the summer heat! I would definitely recommend!

We found Bura while looking for a place to eat in Dubrovnik. It was very busy, but luckily there was still a high table available for us. The sea bass and local wine were absolutely fantastic. Our waiter Teo was amazing, professional, friendly, attentive, and funny. The restaurant should be proud to have him on their team. This was our best dining experience so far during our trip. The food was amazing, we had sea food and risotto and both dishes were outstanding. Can't say enough about the service, the waiter was attentive and very helpful. Great location and the price was very good. You should ask for the Wild Orange desert.

Bura was a lovely surprise in the heart of Dubrovnik. The burrata salad was a standout — a generous portion, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. The pasta was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and packed with taste. We ended the meal with their Orange dessert, which had a refreshing citrus flavor and a scoop of ice cream inside — the perfect sweet finish to the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and hospitable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you find yourself in Dubrovnik, definitely stop by the square for dinner at Bura.

We had such a wonderful experience at Bura in Dubrovnik that we went back two nights! The service is truly outstanding, everyone is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The host, Milica, made us feel at home both evenings, and we had the pleasure of being served by Lazar one night and Nikola the other. Both of whom were excellent. The food is also fantastic, with a great variety of options to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal after a long day exploring Dubrovnik. Overall, Bura combines amazing service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend it!

Quite nice food. The pasta dishes were good, and the salad starters were nice, although not sure if the value was great for what we ate. The outdoor dining has heaters and blankets which makes it a nice place to enjoy a meal. Service is good, and staff are friendly. Plenty of food choices.

You never know what you’re gonna get in busy tourist spots but Bura is fantastic. I had a risotto executed to perfection, and a salad. Nikola was a gracious and efficient server. The hostess stopped by a few bites in to check that everything was to my liking. And big bonus: they’ll serve tap water! (So much nicer for climate change reasons.)

Didn't eat, just had drinks around the tall tables. Nice ambience to the place with relaxed but attentive staff. Drinks were okay, good Aperol spritz, Cuba libre had too much lime in it. Rum and coke afterwards was much better. No fault of the establishment but it appears to be on a walking tour route so quite a few people passing through in large groups and then hanging around while the guide talks. Overall a very nice bar with good service

Beautiful setting for an amazing, extremely fresh meal. The staff was very kind and welcoming, the food was delicious, and prices are very reasonable compared to Dubrovnik! We had the pesto and prosciutto gnocchi, both of which were great.

We visited this restaurant in June 2024. We arrived without a reservation but the staff accommodated us and made sure we had a wonderful experience. Every bite was as beautiful as it was delicious. The staff were friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend making your way for dinner if you're even remotely close!

Short menu but delicious dishes. We had lamb chops with chick peas and pumpkin and pasta with prawns in a tasty tomato sauce. The house wine both red and white was good and very reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly. This is a family run business which is reflected in the effort put in for it's customers.

We do not recommend this establishment, a divorce for tourists. Very expensive, yesterday we literally ate by the sea and the beach and paid 57 euros for 4 dishes. Here we ordered fish soup, where there were a million seasonings in the broth and a couple of pieces of fish, boiled vegetables were potatoes and zucchini and something else I do not understand, everything was boiled and somehow chopped. The fish was generally tasteless, cold potatoes and onions were somehow chopped. A glass of water was understood as a bottle of water for which we paid 4 euros. In general, there were many pensioners, no young people except us, the prices are really very, very expensive. There was a lot of oil in absolutely all dishes, especially in the boiled 3 vegetables.

Compared to the neighboring countries such as Italy, Montenegro and Albania, the food is below average but prices are very high. Unless you want to eat in this tourist destination town, you can find much better seafood restaurants in other countries like Albania.

Way overpriced and the food was awful. The fish soup was just water with spices and a couple of tiny fish pieces. Vegetables were tasteless, overcooked, and oily. Even water was charged 4 euros. Everything felt cheap in quality but absurdly expensive. Total disappointment.

Very nice fresh seafood and very attentive staff, I didn’t had issue with them at all. I would say the atmosphere reminded me of man club, so many Croatia man there that for some European women it might feel a bit outside of the comfort zone. Didn’t liked that group of men next to us tried to take selfies with us on the background without notifying us, tried to chat us up in very weird manner. So hence I rated the atmosphere 3 out of 5 as maybe restaurant owner need to give some comments to his mates next time they plan to act like never seen women before! In terms of food, food was great and really good suggestion on the wine too. Food is pricey but it’s everywhere in Dubrovnik pretty similar prices.

1. The seafood risotto (charged at EUR22) was not properly cooked and the rice was too hard to be eaten, I had digestive problem after eating… 2. The mussels (charged at EUR 17) were extremely tiny, with unpleasant texture that is difficult to be swallowed. The smallest mussels I have ever eaten in a proper restaurant. especially in Europe. 3. Overall, the only 2 dishes that I ordered in this restaurant are both at unacceptable condition. So far this is the worst restaurant I ever tried in Dubrovnik…

I ordered small fried fish and was surprised with the price compared to the quality of the food. The fish was very crispy and tasty. The staff were friendly. However, my friend was disappointed when he ordered the fish and chips, it did not have any tasty fish. The area is fantastic but so small.

The place is beautiful, we had to wait in the line but it moved quick and was worth it. The service was quick, efficient and helpful. The food was very good for the price. The tagliatelle with shrimp and the calamari were really good! The shrimp risotto was a bit undercooked and under seasoned, but overall was a good meal. Overall, highly recommend it for the price/quality and the atmosphere.

The location of the restaurant is fantastic, right in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town, which makes it very convenient. The staff is friendly and hospitable, providing an average level of service. However, I believe the food could use some improvement to meet the standards set by other dining options in Dubrovnik. While the prices are slightly lower than competitors, the quality doesn't quite match up. The mussels were acceptable but didn't stand out compared to other places I've tried. Unfortunately, the black risotto was a letdown—it lacked flavor and seemed like it might have been under-seasoned and missing Parmesan. I think there's potential for this restaurant to elevate its offerings. With some adjustments to the menu and preparation, it could enhance the overall dining experience.

Kamenice was recommended by our Airbnb host, and it turned out to be one of the best local spots we visited in Dubrovnik. Known for small local fish and seafood, it did not disappoint. The mussels were delicious, the calamari was probably the best we’ve ever had, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. We also tried the house wine, which ended up being our favorite in Dubrovnik. It’s a very popular place, so definitely go early—there was a line both times we visited, but it was absolutely worth the wait. A must for authentic local seafood lovers.

It was one of the best restaurants I visited in Dubrovnik. It must be a relatively reasonable price in the old town. It was crowded, but we were able to get a table right away. The mussels were nice with a bit solty. The black squid ink risotto had a strong flavor, great. The green tagliatelle with shrimp was creamy and one of my best memories for my trip. The staffs were so kind and friendly. I would like to go and eat again.

To be honest, we didn't even expect this place to be so good! Walking around the old town in the evening, I accidentally saw a girl eating mussels out of the corner of my eye and I immediately wanted to try them! There was a line of 8 people at the entrance to the cafe, but they quickly prepared a new table for us and in 5 minutes we were already having dinner with our mussels with a beautiful view of the old town. The menu has a lot of different seafood items! I was incredibly pleased with this, because in other restaurants there is only fish... I want to pay your attention to the portion sizes! Having gotten used to the typical deception of tourists, we were impressed that 1 portion of mussels is as much as half a kilogram! This was very pleasant! In terms of taste, these were also the most delicious and fresh mussels that we tried in the city. Also, the waiters very quickly replaced our plates for shells and brought wet wipes - this is a real indicator of the high level of service. We ordered some house wine on tap with the mussels - which was the best decision! Thank you for the warm welcome, we will definitely be back!

We had a dozen of delicious oysters (our reasons to dine at Kamenice), the octopus salad n pasta, both v well prepared. The cheese omelette was normal. Three glasses of wine to wash the food down. Meal was graded good even though we noticed the guarded nature of the waiting staff. I guessed we visited Kamenice for the food, so we left pretty happy n filled. Thank u for feeding us n prepared us for the many steps to climb 😅

Incredible!! Honestly the best experience we have had in the area so far and one of the best we have ever done for local hospitality. A beautiful surrounding, an engaging and funny tour. Followed by the most amazing traditional, home cooked food. We paid for the 40 euro country food experience with unlimited drinks and it was sensational. An absolutely superb experience. Dario set the tone from the off and had us all relaxed and laughing within seconds. He is a natural entertainer and enthusiastic and passionate about his business. There were 8 of us. Ranging from 21 to 52 and we all loved it. We booked on the day for the afternoon tour it started with a talk about cold press olive oil then we moved inside to learn about and taste Croatian prosecco. Into another room where we sampled wines and oils. And then a huge meal that we could not finish. The music singing and dancing was great fun and created a wonderful atmosphere. 4 of us are vegetarian and were catered for very well with more food than we could eat. I recommend you go easy on the starters, oil, cheeses and bread as you need to leave room for the other delicious courses. roasted vegetables, potatoes and meats. The experience started at 15.45 and finished about 18.15. We could have stayed as ll night. Two other groups were with us. A couple from another eastern European country and a small coach of Americans. Everybody had a blast. There is shade from beginning to end. We paid at the end and bought some wine too. We would have loved some olive oil but the liquid limit on the plane home would not allow it. We work in tourism and know what an effort it is to maintain this Hugh l we felt level. 5 stars+++

We went for dinner they my wife organised via email. The owner was so friendly and explained what we were eating. You are served what they make that day so no choice. However the food was superb. There was even a live music group to give a fantastic atmosphere. The price was €30 for adults and €15 each for kids. Drinks are on top of this price. There was so much food so come hungry!

Wow what a find! An incredible experience of Croatian food. Dario is so welcoming and friendly. I emailed him beforehand to find out what days they did dinner, he said Saturday. So we booked! If you come here don't eat anything that day! Dario offered us two options, 170kuna pp for 4 courses or 4 courses & wine/beer for 200kuna pp. We went for the later and he doesn't hold back! He even says if you want more he would bring us more. The food is insane. So delicious, one of our best meals in Croatia. Plus the atmosphere is amazing. You start with a board of different hummus' with fresh bread, then cheese and meats, then lamb & veal with the best roast potatoes I've ever eaten and then an apple cake dessert. We had pre-ordered the lamb, but Dario encouraged us to try the veal and gave us half and half. We are so glad he did! The veal was the best bit! So moist, it melted in our mouths! Really easy Uber ride from Cavtat and back. Thank you Dario & your wife cooking in the kitchen.

Dario and his family serve up a great experience. Great food, wine and music. We had a wonderful time learning about wine and olive oil. Dario is super funny and jokes with everyone. This is a must do experience if your in the area. Visit Sokol Grad while you're in the area. Also family restaurant Konoba Ivankovi is close by and an excellent place to have dinner or lunch.

Highly recommend the lunch set menu here. Tried the ‘sea’ and ‘land’, and they were both wonderful. The bread included prior was also delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The seating was also very comfortable with dappled shade from the vines above.

Our first night in the area. Really nice meal in the harbour at this stylish restaurant with less British tourists than elsewhere. I am one of them, but don’t tell anyone. I had the two course set for 39 euro with a delicious but very small beef tartar and we both had the grilled octopus which was as expected. Although I picked the restaurant, my wife picked best. She ordered outside the set menu and her gnocchi with burrata is worth coming back for.

We came here for lunch and ordered the lunch set menus- one land and one sea. Both were great. Especially the peach starter (land) and the fish main (sea). The ceviche was also great so clearly the fish was very fresh. It was really good value for the cost of food in the area. Staff were great and for the fish they fillet it in front of you. Comfy seating with harbour views too.

Our best food experience in Cavtat. Fantastic service even though they were understaffed. For starters we had the ceviche and the beef tartar - the ceviche was fantastic 10/10! Mains we had the tuna salad and grilled sea bream. Very happy with our choices but the grilled fish was amazing, whereas the salad was what you would expect. We would definitely come back if it weren’t our last night. Bonus: skip the desert and have some ice cream from “a Roma” just a hundred meters away, truly great handmade gelato.

A beautiful dinner with exceptional service in the stunning town of Cavtat. We were passing through Croatia on a cruise and only had time for a quick dinner here at Bugenvila. We ordered some oysters to start and shared the fish of the day, both were exceptional. We were made to feel very welcome with excellent service from everybody we spoke to.

Visited 4th October 2025. Amazing restaurant on the harbour. Friendly service, stunning food and fantastic value especially during "Happy Hour" 3pm where we got a 20% discount. The Fish meal for 2 was gorgeous and the wine in the sun mixed with the scenery was one of the highlights of our week holiday. We plan on visiting again before we reluctantly have to go home.

The food was tasty, that’s why it gets 3 stars. But the portion sizes are different than advertised. They have a big sign that shows photos of the different dishes as well as at the back of the menu. I got the seafood risotto and it looked like half the portion of the photo. See photos for reference. Also, we had to wait almost 40 minutes after asking for the cheque. The waiter could have just forgotten which would have been fine. But when we finally got the cheque, the wait time wasn’t even acknowledged. So it’s hard to tell if it was an honest mistake or if this is a common practice. We’ve had better dining experiences in Cavtat.

I took a day trip to Cavtat and stopped here for lunch. I had the set menu which was had fish soup as starter, grilled squid with potato salad as main and then ice cream for dessert. I thought that the set menu was good value for money and was very filling. I also had a pina colada cocktail which was tasty. I was little bit let down by the service as the restaurant wasn't that busy. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience with delicious local food.

As regular visitors to Cavtat, this lovely restaurant is a favourite of my daughter and I. Delicious, reasonably-priced food, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Special thanks to Yuri for always making us so welcome.

Very tasty mussels and bread. The service was not interested in us during our stay in the restaurant. The seafood platter was tasty although the sauce tasted like a store-bought one. Nice view of the sea.

Very hospitable welcome and prompt sitting. Owners were very attentive and made sure we were made comfortable out of the heat of the sun. The waiter spoke amazing English which helped us greatly. The salad starters were generous and flavoursome. The "Royal" pasta was simply delicious. The view from the front corner table was delightful. Good value for money and well seasoned dishes all round. We are very surprised that The food is good and tasty, but the prawns on my Śipan fishman’s platter were a bit too salty for me personally, the grilled tuna steak has done perfectly, tender and juicy. The price is a bit higher than we expected , we paid €65 per person for a glass of Aperol Spritz, starter and main course, also share a bottle of sparkling water, I guess because the restaurant is next to the Marina Cavtat, with the amazing sunset , and we also like people watching.

I ordered the fish and chips, and my.husband ordered the cavatacci plate.. both were absolutely delicious. The fries were different and unique. Service was quick. Prices were reasonable for the area. Would definitely come here again.

Visited mid afternoon, late October. Beautiful sunshine and a great view of the bay. Service was great, really polite and friendly made us feel welcome. Food was very good, cepacici (?) was great, fresh and tasty. Steak sandwich was a monster! Spaghetti bolognese was good. Star dish was the lasagne which was piping hot and full of flavour, really outstanding as a dish. Nice place to visit, would definitely go back.

Dalmatino was a wonderful spot to enjoy authentic local cuisine! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We absolutely loved the ice cream coffee, and the bruschetta with fresh anchovies was some of the best we’ve ever had. The spaghetti Bolognese was hearty and flavorful, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Prices were very fair compared to many of the other places we checked out, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by for a delicious and genuine taste of Dalmatian food.

The food was avarage, but it was good value for money. If you want to eat cheap and don't expect anything more than filling up your belly - definitely recommended it. Service was very nice and you can sit next to the sea, so it's pretty cool.

My friends and I were not even planning on eating out but we had way too much fun talking to one of the waiters ^^ . Anyways I hope he sees this before he goes on his motorbike trip, but me and my boyfriend are still up for drinks here in Belgium ;)

Came to cavtat for a week holiday, so gutted we didn’t try this place sooner, staff super friendly and polite. Cater to anything you ask if needed. And the food is a complete bonus taste amazing. Meat platter for 2 was our choice 10/10 perfectly cooked all round. So we came back to celebrate our last evening here.

Chose this place on spec for our last night on holiday. Beautiful views of the sunset at Cavtat. Generous portions. Bread and tuna pate as part of the cover charge. DH had a large portion of skewered monkfish with roasted veg and I had turkey fillet with truffle pasta. Both were delicious. Was a good end to our time away.

This is an high profile restaurant nicely located by the sea in Cavtat, with stunning sea and sunset view to create a nice dinner atmosphere. The service is kind and experienced, the food is well prepared and presented. There is a good selection of wines and beers. The price is good considering the level of the restaurant.

We had a lovely late lunch both choosing the monkfish skewers paired with the house white. The food was very good and the house wine was of a high quality. With views that are truly outstanding we had a very pleasant afternoon.

Today I visited this amazing restaurant in the heart of Cavtat, with great view facing the sea front. The service was great and we received a very warm welcome by the owner and the rest of the staff. I was amazed by how many food choices and options they had.In praticular with the great choice of fresh fish and sea food. I had delicious risotto made with prawns and mixture of vegetables that left me speachless. It tasted amazing and was seasoned perfectly.Well done to the chef Ante and the rest of the team. I also had some famous Dubrovnik Rožata dessert accompanied with almond ice cream that is a must if you are visiting the south. Overall great place & would highly recommend.

Took my wife to Leut restaurant for her birthday. We were ushered to a table with a wonderful sea view. The waiter was charming and asked if we wanted any drinks while looking at the menu. A bottle of the best Croatian wine was ordered. We ordered the meal after talking to the waiter, who recommended that we have fish as it was freshly caught every day. We had a starter of scallops and carpaccio, followed by a John Dory and a chef's special for dessert. A pleasant meal with good service. You can eat cheaper as there is a variety of dishes available at the Luet restaurant but we were celebrating a special day.

The atmosphere is nice. The food was good, however the fish was really quite dry and overcooked. The octopus salad was delicious. The service was absolutely - completely Terribly appalling. We think it was the owner that served us. He rushed us through despite the fact that there were only approximately six tables occupied in the restaurant and probably 20 tables not filled at 6.30pm in autumn. He had not a smile on his face, he didn’t ask us if we would like water, and had absolutely no welcoming / friendly or hospitality skills. We had dined 3 times previously at a neighbouring restaurant this week with incredibly friendly wonderful food and very professional and friendly service (Posejdon). Anyway We had ordered – as a couple – a large beer and a large glass of Prosecco, then later a second glass of Prosecco and my husband asked for a house Red (just a glass) . The waiter/owner said “I will bring you a nice glass of red - you Will Love it” - my husband said - “I would just like a glass of the house red (Shiraz) please —- nothing special” . When we got our bill the glass of house red that he brought to our table was €16 …for one glass!!!!!! Absolutely .. unbelievable. When he came to our table with the credit card machine to charge us, I questioned him on this and I said - excuse me - we only asked for a glass of house red - could you please explain why it is more than double the price of a normal glass of house red, he said it was a special house Red. I explained that We did not ask for a special house Red. I said would you consider altering the bill because we certainly did not ask for a €16 per glass of red wine.(considering a 200ml glass of Prosecco was less Than half that red wine cost) He nodded his head (which we took to mean he was going to rectify the problem) and completely ignored us and just swiped our credit card. I asked him once again to reconsider this charge and yet he ignored me and walked away. - charging us the full price. It was the most appalling, rude, extortionate service we have received in Croatia. The rest of our travels in Croatia have been wonderful. I am so sad to report the terrible terrible service we received at this restaurant and would warn other people to be very very vigilant about what you order. My question to you is should you have to go through this when you are going out for an enjoyable meal?

We enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. The grouper fish was the star of the evening, and the two risottos impressed us, especially the white one, which won our taste buds with its perfect texture and flavor. We warmly recommend this place for a top-quality fish dinner with a sea view. Prices are as expected in this type of restaurant. The walls are filled with pictures of many famous people that enjoyed the same atmosphere and quallity.

I do not recommend it. Food was really not good. Small portions (not for adults to have a proper meal), tasteless, oily,.. Everything is expenssive...not a good experiance. For sure we will not return.

I know it’s not a very fancy restaurant, I saw a lot of reviews online are not good, but I saw a lovely Gilded Squid/Calamari dish when I walked pass a couple of days ago, and it looks so gorgeous, so I decided to give it a go, and it turned out it was really good and delicious for me. The mozzarella cheese and Spaghetti Bolognaise is good, but I have to say this is the best Grill Squid/Calamari I ever had in Cavtat. I am a seafood person, since we arrived in Cavtat, for last ten days, I have been trying to find the good Grilled Squid/Calamari in this area, and I can say I finally found it, this is my favourite. It is vet tasty , is soft inside, and also very tasty. I love it. Not overcooked or over seasoning. It’s so so amazing.

It's at a nice spot to see the sunset . Food came fast . Chicken with mushroom sauce was nice and calamari. And the homemade cake was also delicious.

The setting it was great as it overlooks the Adriatic sea, and it was nice to watch the people ho by, and boats coming and leaving from the small port. The food it was average, with the breat of chicken being dry, the mussels were extremely salty, and the fries not the best. The omelette and lamb burger were blant. Service has started from being good to bad, when it came to the payment. The writer has said of we pay by cash it will be 10% off the bill which I have agreed to, but when it came to the bill it was only 5% so I have questioned it which he was adamant that he said it was only 5% so I payed full price on the card. So unprofessional service.

This was a really nice expirience. We came at late afternoon and took a seat next to see. Enjoyed in food and chating with service. My sea bass was delicious and mixed meat was great as well. Hope we will return once at dinner time and enjoy once more here. Thank you

My Girlfriend and I had dinner there, we both had fish; she had the sardines, I had the sword fish - both dishes tasted great although there weren’t anything out of the ordinary either, the view is stunning and the service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend the place

I'm a hard sell, picky about everything. This place was AMAZING. Everything was perfect. Service, view, food....all of it. I sat for 2 hours with a bottle of local wine and the prosciutto and cheese plate. Not quite as expensive as Dubrovnik...but the value was there. I've never given a place 5 stars across the board. Ever. This place deserves it. They speak good English, and I think I heard one server speak Italian.

We had a lovely lunch with Posejdon. Nice cool local beer Ožujsko we enjoyed it. Squid Grilled is gorgeous, it’s so tender and tasty, the pizza is amazing too. The staff separated the pizza in half for us when they knew we share the dishes. Very thoughtful. The food is exactly what we needed after an early morning trip. The staff is very friendly and nice. Lovely location with the sea view. The price is very reasonable. There is no service charge on the bill, so we gave the water cash in hand.

Nice place to stop whilst visiting Cavtat. Nice views of the port and plenty of choice on the menu. Service is good and prices are very reasonable, especially if you have spent time in Dubrovnik where prices may be over double for the same products. Visited in October, so not as busy as it would be in peak season, but still quite a popular place and would recommend a visit.

Just dont eat the tuna fish here, unfortunately it was the worst I had. Too dry and tiny for 22 euros. On the other hand, staff was quite friendly and nice, however overall food quality and presentation was not good at all

Lovely place recommend to us by the Sea Shell Museum owner a 100 meters away. Definitely better food than Dubrovnik any day, sad we didn't come here first. Definitely recommend this place.

Gorgeous food and cool draught beer. Good location for a nice dinner with quiet environment, without the crowds walking pass by, like Marina Cavtat. Also the price here is slight cheaper than the restaurants by Marina Cavtat. Lovely staff. Seafood is fresh and delicious. Pizza is amazing. Pastas is very tasty not dry or too running at all. It’s perfect for me.

The atmosphere by the water was so inviting. We went here as a big group from our friend’s suggestion. She went here years ago and was delighted that her memory of the place stood the test of time. Our food was amazing! I had the black risotto and the Slavonian Pizza and was super satisfied by the entire meal! Further, our host Daniela made the entire experience wonderful! She was super attentive and had a fun sense of humour.

Always a pleasure never a fail here. 5th year coming here and can honestly say we eat here every night we are on the island. Staff are the best always friendly and welcoming. Same time again next year!!

My husband and I found this incredible gem when looking for a place to get a pizza close to the Dubrovnik airport. Wow!! We are absolutely thrilled we choose Pizzaria Kabalero! The pizza is the best we have had in Croatia, and that is saying a lot as Croatia is a country that prides itself on its pizza touting (and I do agree!) that it is better than the Italian version. Beyond our lunch, the view doesn’t get better and our server Martin was the best! We cannot wait to come back! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by! Guaranteed you will not regret it! Thank you Martin!

This place quickly becomes your go-to place if you stay in Cavtat. The staff treats you like an old friend: with kindness and attention to detail. The food is incredible as is the view. You get every penny's worth. Highly recommend for a romantic sunset dinner and/or family lunch. Also, prepare to have your heart melted by the frequently visting cats.

Absolutely love this place. Fabulous food along with breathtaking views makes this our favourite place to eat in Cavtat. So many choices to choose from, with each one cooked perfectly and all so flavoursome and a delight to eat. Along with the beautiful food, you are well looked after by all staff, especially Daniella who goes above and beyond every night.

We dined at Zino on two separate occasions, both times on the enclosed outdoor terrace, which was bright, stylish, and very comfortable. The seating was particularly pleasant, and the overall decor added to the inviting atmosphere. The only downside was the background music — a more refined selection would better match the setting than dated radio pop hits. Service was consistently friendly and efficient. The waitstaff were well-dressed and treated all guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment. Prices were reasonable considering the touristy location, and drinks were also fairly priced. The wok dishes were flavorful, though slightly on the smaller side. Pizzas were rich in toppings, though the crust had more of a pie-like texture. The soup of the day was tasty as well. Overall, we left with a positive impression and would gladly return.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Excellent location next to the marina Cavtat. It’s a bit nicer than some places by the marina. We went for an early dinner. The cool beer PAN is very good and cool. It’s our first time to have this brand. The burger is very tasty, but it is a little bit expensive, we think it’s worth it.

Ate here 3 out of our 7 nights in Cavtat. Great value for money, lots of choice. The steaks are immense, as are the pizza and wok chilli chicken. Staff are attentive but don’t fuss over you. Hands down the best place in Cavtat for a steak. Worthy of 5 stars 🌟

The waiter was very welcoming and the food nicely cooked and presented. I had the sea bass and an additional salad. I had sparkling spring water and I liked the way they brought a little bucket of ice with slices of lemon. Nice setting along the harbour front with some super yatchs moored up there.

Our Villa host Ivana secured a table with a beautiful view for our group of 10. We were treated to a fantastic sunset too. We started with drinks, wine, espresso martini and my favorite gin tonic rose and Mary. It was so refreshing. I got the sea bass with mashed potatoes and it was delicious. I sampled the wok sweet chili prawns and one with steak. They were so good. Everything sampled was wonderful. I definitely recommend Zino for delicious food, great service and possibly a colorful sunset

Zinos is a gorgeous spot with sea view. We ate here twice throughout our stay in Cavtat and both occasions were just as lovely. The staff are friendly and the food lovely. Would recommend reserving a table as it can get very busy on an evening.

Toshe was nice friendly and simply awesome this place is the best for breakfast lunch dinner we ate there 3 days in a roll and they did not disappoint. Service is top notch!!! Trust me try them you won’t regret it🥰😉

Wow just wow. This spot is truly amazing, the view, the service and the food. This was one of our highlights of the trip, our waiter was so attentive but not overbearing we didn’t have to pour a glass of wine or water once, amazing service. Would highly recommend visiting here while in Cavtat and we would definitely return.

A little away from the other restaurants but busy enough as if does sit on road that most people use to walk into Cavtat. The food again changes due to the days catch but everything we tasted was fresh, well presented and extremely tasty. With exceptional views of the bay, this really was a tranquil and beautiful place for dinner.

Myself and my partner were deciding where to eat on our second night and we decided on Ciparis. What a great decision that was. We made a reservation and we were given the warmest welcome we have ever received. It felt like we were being welcomed into their home. We were met with exceptional service by the waiters and given recommendations on what to eat. For our starter we shared a bruschetta and it was easily the best we have ever had. The freshness of the tomatoes and the beautiful goats cheese was just a joy to begin our evening. My partner decided on the seafood risotto for her main and I had the Adriatic stuffed squids. The presentation of our food was a work of art. And once we took our first bites we were already booking a reservation again. Both of our mains were beautiful and so much attention was put into the dishes. Easily the best restaurant in Cavtat and definitely my favourite place to eat in the world. After we had finished our meal the owner Edward came down to us for a chat. It felt like we had known him all of our lives. We had laughs and chats about everything from food to life. If you are to visit here you should do so for the owner alone. He introduced us to his wife and son, who both work there, and that just made our holiday. Not only did we get to experience the best food in our lives but we also made great friends who deserve all of the praise the restaurant and they should get. We returned two more times in our week in Cavtat. And without a doubt we will be returning next year. A huge thank you to Edward, his family, and all of the staff at Ciparis. You made our holiday and we will see you next year. Thank you all.

We are (6) waiting for the food we ordered for 70 minutes, and the waiter told that takes 10 minutes more... So after order, 80 minutes is sure. When we asked why, the waiter told, cause everybody arrived at the same time. BUT NOBODY told, that we have to wait such an enormous time. Service level is very POOR! Hope the food will be better.

The food was just delicious! I had the fish filet and my husband the ribeye, both perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tasted super fresh. The pear and apple strudel dessert were a perfect finish. Would definitely visit again and recommend

We visited Konoba Kolona for dinner and ate on the upper terrace. Do not let the location of this restaurant put you off as it is not one of the normal tourist traps like some of the other restaurants in Cavtat. This restaurant is very traditional and authentic and specializes in freshly caught local fish. We chose the Grouper fish and the Meat Patty Chefs style. Both dishes were served hot and were very tasty. For desserts we chose the chocolate souffle which is more like what we would call chocolate fondant and an apple cake. Both dishes were again very nice but for us the chocolate fondant was our favourite as the warm chocolate sauce oozed out when you cut into it and tasted delicious. We also visited again on our last night just for dessert after having a disappointing meal at another restaurant. The service was professional, friendly polite and helpful throughout and we would not hesitate to return or recommend.

If I could give the service 6 stars I would! The staff goes above and beyond to provide an excellent atmosphere for this local spot. The delicious, well-presented food is just a plus to the outstanding vibe of the restaurant. If you come to Cavtat, you MUST eat here — oh, and get the fresh catch!

Lovely experience at Konoba. We reserved a table for Jazz night and pre ordered the Lamb under the bell. We are so glad we did as it has been a highlight of our dining out, the staff are friendly and the service was quick. The atmosphere was immaculate, jazz playing, with an amazing view. The food was so flavourful we finished every last bit. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return…we still might!

Went to this place late in the evening. Grill fish was lovely, pasta wasn’t great and fried Calamari was good. Service was good. Place was bit boring but worked well as it was shielded from winds from the sea.

We were a group of five and requested a sea food platter for all. We also had a fish pâté starter which was lovely. The food was fantastic .. fresh and cooked incredibly well. The staff were friendly and attentive. This is a traditional restaurant away from the main waterfront, but well worth a visit. Excellent.

It’s is at the corner of the road attracting many people, food was okay , fish dish was nice, risotto wasn’t that good, price was at the high end compared to rest of the town. They expected a tip and that wasn’t very European. Staff was friendly.

The restaurant has perfect and truly delicious food. The atmosphere is wonderful – calm, with soft background music that makes the experience even more enjoyable. I tried the risotto, and it was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection. It’s not the cheapest place, but considering the quality, it was definitely worth it.

We had a couple of nice meals here.Staff are friendly and the menu is quite varied. The waiter did bring out water and puree it without us agreeing and it was sparkling which we didn't want so we got charged for 2.Check also what your meal comes with because it's a bit confusing.

Let’s keep this review to the point. Nice looking restaurant, with really attentive service and friendly staff. That’s where the praise ends. Food? What we had was very mediocre and perhaps below that. Spaghetti with prawns, tasted of can pasta sauce, not even boiled/cooked well, with abundance of small prawns that literally tasted like little tasteless rubbers and were definitely straight from frozen supermarket bags. Disappointing. Oh, we tried the home made tuna pâté with fresh bread, and it was delicious, in fact that was probably the highlight of the food we ordered.

Stopped by here for the buffett breakfast one morning and left very satisfied. Plenty of choice, food was lovely and warm and nice atmosphere. The lady who looked after us was really nice. If it wasn't our last day we'd have came back again.

We decided to try the set menu - I chose the meat option which I really enjoyed and the 3 courses where enough for me. The chicken with almond sauce was the stand out. My husband chose the fish set menu and felt it was 'just ok'. Lovely venue and very popular. I would do back but would order from the a la carte menu next time.

Situated on the port front in Cavtat, on a nice sunny day this is a lovelly place to stop and enjoy the views of the port, the sea and the surrounding area. Staff are very helpful and service is excellent. The boat from Dubrovnik old town (Sealine direct boat, about 40 mins) drops you a minute or less walk from here. We didnt eat here, but the food we saw looked excellent. A great place to have a meal at reasonable prices and in a relaxed atmosphere.

This review is based on two visits. We had dinner here twice and had mixed thoughts. On our first visit we ate off of the 3 course fixed menu. One of us had the fish menu and the other the meat menu. The salad starters were ok but nothing memorable. The fish on the main course was cooked very well and was very tasty but the carrots that accompanied it were almost raw. The chicken in almond sauce was delicious and had bags of flavour. The desserts were also very nice and the service was excellent. On our second visit we were seated but our food took approximately 50 to 60 minutes to arrive. We ordered the Calamari and the burger. The Calamari was nice but the burger was awful! Considering this restaurant is so highly rated we did not expect to receive a burger with a slice of processed plastic cheese and to make things worse we were told that it was Cheddar!!! Surely a slice of local Croatian Pag cheese would be a better option? After our weeks stay in Cavtat in our opinion there are better places to dine.

We decided to dine here on our final night in Cavtat, drawn in by all the excellent reviews, and the entire experience was truly impressive. From the delicious food to the attentive service and charming ambiance, everything was superb. Our waiter went above and beyond, explaining each dish in detail and ensuring we felt comfortable and welcomed. It was absolutely worth the visit and the perfect farewell to our trip in Croatia! 🇭🇷

I wish we would have found this place sooner! They have the best matcha in Cavtat/Dubrovnik and also the cheapest. The breakfast options were nice and all include a free (large)glass of mimosa. The lunch selection was great and delicious. I was avoiding burgers while here, but I had try their Mediterranean burger with an interesting twist, highly recommend that and their tuna pate! The service was friendly and overall 5/5 experience. If we would stay longer we would probably eat here every day.

Solid 5 stars! Delicious food presented so nicely, very friendly service, and of course the wonderful view of the bay. The kind staff sat us at a table with an excellent view and even moved the heat lamp closer since I made a silly comment about always being cold. We had dinner at sunset and what an experience! I would highly recommend and would even come back when visiting Cavtat again!

Visited here a total of 3 times during my stay in Cavtat. Enjoyed the food thoroughly however I must say that I would have given 5 stars for the food had it not been for the desserts - the tiramisu was a let down, my only recommendation would be to serve a regular version! Also, the service from Jovan was great! :)

We stayed overnight in Cavtat and happened to visit during a Catholic holiday, so many places were closed. Luckily, we stumbled upon Ankora for lunch, and we had such a great experience that we decided to return again for dinner the same day. For lunch, we started with the tuna pâté, which was delicious. The ink bread it was served with was unique and a refreshing change from the usual bread offerings. For mains, we had the stuffed gnocchi and the chicken sando. The chicken sando was outstanding — perfectly crispy and golden, with juicy thigh meat and a flavorful chutney that tied it all together beautifully. The gnocchi were tasty and came with a flavorful sauce, though they were a bit dense for my liking. To drink, we tried the fig leaf cocktail, which was light and refreshing. When we came back for dinner, the food was equally impressive. We began with the prawn cannoli, which was incredible — the orange tartness paired perfectly with the balsamic pearls. Next, the ravioli al limone turned out to be one of the best dishes we tried during our entire visit, delicate and full of flavor. For mains, we opted for the tuna Wellington and the sea bass fillet. The Wellington was well executed, though the cuttlefish demi-glace felt a touch overpowering. The sea bass was perfectly cooked — flaky and fresh — but I found the dish leaned a bit heavy, as the richness from the sweet potato and hazelnut needed an acidic balance to really make the flavors pop. We ended the meal with the sponge cake, which was light, fresh, and a great way to finish. We paired both meals with a bottle of Pošip, recommended by our server Dusan, and it complemented the dishes beautifully. Dusan himself deserves special mention — attentive, friendly, and truly made our experience memorable. Overall, Ankora exceeded our expectations — creative dishes, fresh ingredients, thoughtful wine pairings, and excellent service. Definitely a spot worth visiting in Cavtat.

Good vegetarian options. Great for dinner and lunch. Tasty food, big portions (some starters are enough for a meal). Great choice of local wines. Lunch comes with free mimosa.

We visited 5 different restaurants but Ankora was different and the best in our opinion (thus we visited it twice). The prices are similar to others but look at the picture of the tuna steak, it's like a different level of food compared to others where I had the opportunity to eat tuna. The risotto and burger are also delicious, I recommend visiting and checking it out for yourself. Best regards

Lovely setting and service. We all enjoyed our food, which for the family was a mix of pizza's, a Greek salad and a burger. For the price you cannot fault it. The staff were very helpful and polite as well. If we return to Cavtat we will be back.

Amazing meal. We didn’t expect that. The Adriatic Squid(The grilled squid) is delicious, tender and tasty, with Swiss Chard ( I think it was Spanish on our dish) and potato. April Spritz is only €6 and it’s a big glass. Very happy with it. The staff is also very friendly and nice. We also love the view looking out from the restaurant. The water, the boats and the mountains in the background, it’s amazing.

Amazing little restaurant tucked away from the centre of Cavtat. We paid 33 euro during 20 per cent off including happy hour which is cheap beer and drinks. The hostess was extremely helpful and kind, and helped us with food choices. We sat looking out on the harbour and it was bliss. Food was fresh, warm and tasted great. Pizza tasted amazing and was awesome for a great price. You must go!

Fantastic value for money, great wine, awesome food, superb staff and amazing sunsets across the bay. We ate here probably more than anywhere else and sampled a huge selection of the menu. Highlights included the truffle pasta, carpaccio pizza and the little fish/whitebait.

This was our fave spot. Great views, lovely friendly staff, good food and the best prices. I come all over in a hot sweat when my husband orders 12 to 14 euro aperol spritz , last year in Lake Garda they were 8 euros. Here they were 6 and they were the best Aperol spritz we tried out of around 10 places. Pizzas are good also. Only three or four minutes from the bus station.

Highly recommend, My wife and I had the beef, beacon and egg burger with fries and I can honestly say that burger had no manners or behaviour, it was dirty, juicy and completely of order!! I will definitely go back there anytime I go to Cavtat. Customer services was amazing as well, the staff are all beautiful, kind and friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We visited Buffet Atlas and both tried different pizza’s. Both of our pizza’s were very nice and served piping hot, and then we finished with a tasty homemade dessert. The waitress / owner Luce was friendly and efficient.

It’s nice experience to have drink in Atlas. It’s highly recommended by friend, and it is worth to try. Drinking is pretty good, view is pretty.

Amazing restaurant in Cavtat, Dubrovnik for vegan, vegetarian options. The poke bowls can be made vegan and there is a vegan cheese option also. Gluten free food also available. Lovely setting and very friendly and efficient staff. Hope to come back and enjoy this lovely restaurant again soon. Great house red wine as a bonus.

If you are looking for Cevapi, go no further. My last day in Croatia and wanted one last Cevapi fix. They don't usually serve it as early is I wanted it (830am), but they sorted it out for me. Proper Cevapi in bread, not on a pile of chips. I was very happy with the service too. When I got back to my hotel, the staff said I had chosen the best spot for Cevapi in Cavtat. Its also in a good spot which is a bit quieter and a great view.

Had pizza at 3 different restaurants in Cavtat and Buffet Atlas's were the best by far. They also serve a wider variety of salads than any other menu I came across in the village. Delicious food, excellent service and atmosphere. A decent variety of choice for vegetarians too. Returned 3 times.

Lovely place, nice view from the outside terrace. We both had pizza, simple and tasty, as pizza should be. Central in town, good menu, reasonable prices. What's not to like?

We ate here just last week during our 5th visit to beautiful Cavtat. We sat outside , a lovely evening and the food was wonderful ,best meal we had all week. Service was excellent and everything was very relaxed. There was a healthy queue of diners prepared to wait for a table which tells you how good the place is. Highly recommended.

I had a waitress named Amelia she is very polite and kind. Food was fantastic I really recommend the pizza it’s delicious. The atmosphere is perfect it’s right next to the water with a beautiful view. I could not be more satisfied with my dinner.

The restaurant is not that good. We ordered the 2 daily menues and the food was dissapointing. Tomato soup was great, but the octopus salad had little meat in it. Main course was the real dealbraker. We only got half a fish that was bland and the meal had no taste. The lamb chops were 90% fat and 10% meat, such as the amount of meat you could eat was equal to 2 mouthfuls. The dessert was good. Also there were flies everywhere and were quite annoying after some time.

This place is amazing, perhaps the best restaurant in Cavtat! We were a group of 14 people and had booked in advance. Waiter did a good job keeping track of all of us. Delicious cocktails and mocktails, and good wine too. We ordered a variety of pastas, sea food and beef - and everyone was pleased. Handmade pasta and fresh seafood was especially good. The ambience is lovely as well. The place to go if you want to avoid turist traps. Would come back!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant every summer since it opened and it’s remained my favorite year after year. The food is consistently great and you can really tell they put a lot of care into their dishes. My go-to favorites are the mussels, spaghetti carbonara, prosciutto salad, and the stuffed chicken. What makes this place even more special though is the people. The owners and staff are so warm and genuinely welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and it never feels forced. It’s also in a fantastic location that’s super convenient. Overall a wonderful experience every time. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Cavtat!!! :)

The service ( kartica ) was excellent, which is why I’m giving two stars. However, I can’t say much positive about the food. The pizza ( 40 minutes wait ) was tasteless and unusually small for its size. The edges were extremely thick, just plain dough without any airiness or lightness. It felt heavy and unpleasant to eat, shrimp had not taste at all Honestly, I’ve never had a pizza like this before, and it was a disappointing experience, i dont recommend, dont be fooled by the napolitaine look of the pizza , its just dough ( the dough is not rested/ fermented enough ) .

We had a green Thai curry and Terriyaki Chicken and both were delicious. Attentive staff, and only five minute wait for the food ... Lovely place to sit and watch sunset and enjoy this lovely place. I highly recommend and aim to return.

Visited this restaurant twice and absolutely our favourite! The service is amazing! Food was excellent chicken Teriyaki, Thai green curry, chicken Katsu and the chicken spring rolls are amazing! The owner is lovely and the waiters were all amazing, very friendly We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they gave us a lovely glass of Prosecco! Cocktails were probably the best I had on my visit to Cavtat!! Thoroughly recommend this restaurant !

Harbour Cafe was an Asian themed restaurant in the Cavtat Boardwalk. The quality was very good. It was surprisingly one of the more expensive meals but the quality of food was great and service matched with a fantastic waiter. “Thank me later”

A cocktail bar during the day and a Japanese restaurant during the night!A total rip of a no go the food was terrible spring rolls from Metro supplier of 99 percent restaurants in Cavtat.We where blackmailed that we must eat and not just have a drink,sushi was not close to sushi,teriyaki sauce and chicken we to salty,I ordered Bailey’s and I just got a finger deep drink.The owner is from South Africa and the waiter was so apologetic about the quality of the food,the wine was from the cask a cheap non drinkable.The bill for 2 was 93 euros a total rip of.To all of you that gave this place a 5 star you do not have a clue what an Asian restaurant is.So keep wasting your hard earned money here I will certainly not!

Lovely food. I had this green prawn curry, everyone else had katsu curry. Katsu had a light crispy bread crumb cooked to perfection. Will be coming back to eat again

Great service and cool decoration. Was a rock music club and now renovated as a cafe/bar/restaurant. There are some hidden menu, so just ask the staff if you want something that is not on the menu (like salep, cappuccino..). Food is not too pricey but the amount is rather small, and doesn't meet the expectations.

The food here was excellent! The waiters gave very good recommendations, the carpaccio was incredible! Monkfish and prawns, and the salmon and prawn linguine was amazing. No fault to the staff but it was a very very windy night so there was a bit of a draft, aside from that the evening was perfect!

Excellent food with huge portions at very reasonable prices! We ordered the veal tomahawk, and it was massive – the flavor was truly impressive. The mushroom risotto was also outstanding. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot at the quieter end of the promenade next to the monastery. Excellent swordfish and Greek salad. Very good desserts too - chocolate mousse and lemon tart. Bottle of rose wine was great. €55 each with tip.

Great service, great view, great food, good prices! This restaurant is better than the restaurants sitting right across the port area as it is a bit more quiet and has a wonderful view unobstructed by the yachts.

Tonight we ate here and how nice it was too Great sword fish and pasta dishes. 4 in our party we all started with Scallops which were very delicious. Lemon tart for dessert was very light and refreshing. Good house wines as well as alcohol free beer. We will be back during our stay here.

Perfect, basically sums this place up. The service was quick, attentive, and exactly as you would want. The food was phenomenal, cooked on an open bbq feet away from the table. I had smoked ham pasta to start, followed by Veal bbq ribs. Both outstanding, perfect portion. The kids had smoked sausage that they made with fries, other food on the table steak, and mixed kebabs. The beer was very good also, one of the best I've tried so far while in Croatia. To give you a guide of how good this place was, we had planned a different place each day, we have changed that to give this place a second night. I can’t understand such a low rate. Because this restaurant is really perfect. They gave as a compliment starter before the main dish and alcohol compliment after. And even a compliment dessert finally!!! We order spaghetti and grilled fish. Everything were excellent!!!!

My kind of place! It’s been there since 1975, long before Croatia was so turistic, so it keeps a simple and cozy atmosphere from a family business frequented by locals. Food is great but not fancy. If you’re looking for an authentic experience focusing one the food and not the “fireworks “ you won’t regret!

Konoba Cavtat is a lovely family-run spot with a truly welcoming feel. The food is fresh, flavorful, and home-cooked. The service was friendly and down-to-earth, and we felt genuinely looked after from start to finish. Highly recommended if you’re looking for honest, local food and kind people in a beautiful setting.

We had a great dinner here! The fish and beef we had were delicious, the atmosphere and staff were lovely and had a great view of the harbour!

Really good place, amazing service, portions are big. My friends had pizza which was amazing and I had squids. On the menu they only had grilled but I asked for deep fried and they agreed. Everything was delicious and food came fast. Don’t have pictures of the food, it was so delicious I forgot to take a picture!

We went because there were reviews that we liked, like traditional food, family operated and it has been in business for a long time. Well, the waiter mostly did not speak english nor understood it. We could not get answers about what kind of dishes were. Nor did he get any other to help us. He was also very tired and we were feeling we were bothering him because we wanted to eat. Still we stayed. Grilled scampi was totally overcooked and served with "traditional" french fries and majo. Grilled shrimp was cooked better but that had also french fries... So that seems to me NOT traditional side. End of review.

Cosy and nice place. Good food and some national specialities. We ate there twice. The first experience was better than the second one (probably depending on the waiter). Good food and not over priced considering the fact that it’s located in the center of the Cavtat old town. We were welcomed with some appetizers and at the end of the dinner we were offered some local liquor, both courtesy of the house. From what we tried I can recommend the lamb chops ( in the English menu you’ll find them under the name lamb leg 😅) and also the beef steak. Nice sea and sunset view from the table.

We were very satisfied with the food and service and the atmosphere here! Loved the details with the tree growing in the middle, and the flowers and the clock and the lighting. Very friendly staff. Food was great and prices were reasonable. Had foccacia, beef and noodle soup. Only thing I could ask for was maybe add a vegetable or two in the soup? Had the meat plate with several tasty meats. And the lava cake for dessert was superb!

Super friendly, great service. Definitely the best pints we had, cold and fizzy! Food is amazing. All reasonably priced considering Dubrovnik is very expensive. Even if you just fancy a drink they show the football matches. With breathtaking views this place is worth a visit

An absolute gem of a place, definitely the most underrated place in Cavtat. Fantastic food and so reasonably priced the bill was a serious shock! Good sunset view too.

The Angus burger and fries are the best ever!! It's so good that we told some friends and went back again! The second time, I got a steak salad. I would highly recommend this place. The host and our server were friendly, and our table was in the perfect spot for us.

We were in this restaurant on Monday, we had a great time, the food was delicious and fresh, with a very beautiful decoration, real magical art, we didn't regret that the food was a little late. We have been to many restaurants in Dubrovnik, but this one was definitely the best in our opinion. Recommended to visit.

I have to say 5 things about this amazing place. 1. Great acoustic guitar program. 2. Great delicious food. 3. Great wine offer. 4. Great ambient. 5. And perfect combination of these 4 crucial things for full enjoyment. P.s. really friendly and kind staff. :)

We spent a wonderful evening dining in this restaurant. First, perfect location, just behind the Cathedral. There are several terraces with nice views. Food was perfectly prepared and served. Waiters are skilled and polite. Despite being steak house the fish we had was delicious.

Really warm welcome and tasty food. Menu rather short but both fish and steak dishes were lovely there. Nice views from the terrace tables. We got colouring books and crayons to entertain our little one which was great and not expected. We had to wait for a while to be served even when the place was pretty empty hence minus 1*

The area around the restaurant was lovely and it was warm enough to sit outside. Service was a little slow but the waiter was pleasant and friendly. The starter we had was ok, not the best pate I've had, the steak and potato gratin was very nice though. All in, we were glad we chose paparazzo.

Stopped here for breakfast and were given a lovely welcome, good selection on the menu however the wait staff seemed uninterested in us. I ordered the salmon and anchovy salad, which came out with the smoked salmon still frozen, making it very unpleasant. When I pointed this out to the waiter I was told that the salmon has to be frozen to keep it fresh, when I said that it shouldn't be served frozen the same response was given. No offer was made to correct this or make me feel welcome. The 2 stars come from the fact that my girlfriend's omelette was nice.
