Seafood restaurant
Bota Šare Mali Ston restaurant & oyster bar is a renowned family-owned gastronomic establishment that has expanded to multiple locations in Croatia. The original restaurant, situated in an ancient medieval castle by the water in Mali Ston, offers a rich culinary experience rooted in the family's history of wine making and oyster farming.
Absolutely worth every cent you spend here. We came based off the reviews and they were accurate. We tried for the first time oysters and even though they had very distinctive and strange taste for first timers, they were hyper fresh and tasty. The tuna tartare is amazingggg - I could have eaten a ton from it. The service is fast, professional and helpful. Shout out to our waiter Denis who was smiling at all times, cracking jokes, but more importantly knowledgeable about the food and wine. We had a blast and I cannot wait to visit again.
Gabriela D — Google review
The food was awesome, we ordered some starters (we also got one extra), traditional oysters and mixed shellfish. Everything was flawless. The waiter was extra nice. The setting was both cosy and chic. Great experience!
Julija K — Google review
Bota Šare is beautifully located in a historic salt warehouse right by the water in Mali Ston. The atmosphere is rustic yet elegant, with views over the harbor that set the perfect tone for a memorable meal. The menu showcases authentic Dalmatian cuisine – from homemade bread and seafood risottos to freshly caught fish – but the true highlight is the world-famous Mali Ston oysters, served fresh and prepared in creative ways. What makes the experience stand out even more is the friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff, who are often praised by name for their warm service. Prices are fair for the quality, and the restaurant consistently ranks among the top dining spots in the region. A must-visit if you want to experience the flavors of Dalmatia in a truly authentic setting.
Goran M — Google review
Definitely worths one hour bus ride from Dubrovnik to come here. The seafoods is the best in our trip. Fresh oyster is must-try in Ston which will not disappoint you. Mussels are fresh and large in portion. Black risotto is amazing with lots of seafood inside.
Suky C — Google review
This is a nice restaurant with a very good atmosphere and service. Unfortunately to me the food was their weakest link. They specialize in oysters and they were very good. However, we ordered the Dalmatian Muscles and they were bad. It appeared that they had been pre-steamed, then heated to serve. Half the muscles had shriveled up and were hard; inedible. Ordered an Amberjack steak (fish), and it was too dry. Perhaps our expectations were too high since we had heard about this restaurant for days. Overall it was fine.
Robert M — Google review
The high prices here were for the views and the fresh seafood. The tuna and oysters are as good as mentioned by the reviews here. The surly service and the soggy napkins took away from an otherwise lovely lunch break from the long drive from Split to Dubrovnik.
Colin C — Google review
Great place for having lunch. Oysters were extremly fresh. The nigiris not so much. The fish was delicious.
Jose F — Google review
The oysters were nice and fresh. But unfortunately we were disappointed by the tuna fillet. The seasoning was a lot and it was overcooked and hard to chew. The potato and spinach side lacked in flavor too. Service was friendly.

Restaurant
Konoba Bakus is a renowned seafood restaurant located in the charming town of Ston, Croatia. It is celebrated for its exquisite seafood specialties and some of the finest shellfish along the Adriatic coast. The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting ambiance with rustic nautical decor and warm lighting, creating an ideal setting for a delightful dining experience. Diners can enjoy their meals at long tables in the alleyway outside under the shade of canopies while indulging in an extensive wine selection.
Nice resto in Ston, we came between our drive from Split to Dubrovnik. No prior bookings and though we would have love to sit outside (fully reserved and occupied), they did have a table for us indoors. Service was prompt, though all sections were very occupied. Started with fresh oysters - which were nice and fresh! If you come you HAVE TO try the seafood risotto, we've had one at most restaurants we ate at in Croatia and this was one of the best. The risotto was extremely well flavoured and full of seafood flavour. The serving was also very generous. The grilled squid was also great - did not like the boiled veggies which it came with which also made the entire plate very watery.
Vivian L — Google review
Delicious food and great value! We had the octopus salad, oysters ,seafood risotto, pasta and mussels– all fresh and full of flavor. A nice surprise was the complimentary fish paste with bread, which is not very common in Croatia while you waiting for your food! Friendly service, low prices, and high quality. Highly recommend – best to book a table in advance!
Jeni L — Google review
This was my absolute favorite restaurant from a two week trip through Croatia. It was off the beaten path, and although still touristy overcame the plague of burgers and pizzas that plague the menus of most of the restaurants the tourist have access to . Lots of local families were eating here which is a great sign, and there were lots of celebrations going on meaning that it was good enough quality for the locals to enjoy it for special occasions. The food was wholesome and good with fresh ingredients and I’m sure the entire menu is delicious - except perhaps the local desert “pasta cake” which the young waitress tactfully described as something that “somebody might enjoy”.
William S — Google review
Recommended by our guide who now knows my preferences. After 8 days of meat and some fish, we decided to have mussels which this place is famous for. We also had black ink squid risotto which seems to be the most popular dish, oyster soup, grilled squid and prawns. Very friendly staff.
Raj P — Google review
Really nice place to eat with love ones, the food is absolutely delightful, good service. Ms. Victoria is really helpful. She deserves a raise 😉. The location is inside the town of Ston, really accessible and absolutely a wonderful experience to have dinner here. Amazing! Will definitely come back here and totally recommendable. It's not pricey too. Bring your friends!
Mheongskytravels — Google review
I went here with a group of 14, and our waitress seemed a little miffed and frazzled by such a large group. She ultimately did a good job, but didn’t look too happy when we arrived. The food was very good, though! I started off with fried oysters, and we had others in the group who ordered raw oysters. They were small, but delicious! My shrimp skewers with risotto was cooked perfectly. Overall, a wonderful meal!

The greatest food we had in our trip in Croatia. Very casual atmosphere in the heart of Ston. Whatever you choose from the menu won't be a mistake. Authentic taste, fresh food and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Nestled just a stone's throw from the port in Mali Ston, Vila Koruna Restaurant offers a unique blend of culinary delights and rich local history. During our visit, we were warmly welcomed by owner Svetan Pejic, who shared fascinating insights about the nearby saltworks that have been hand-harvested since ancient times. The restaurant is not only known for its seafood but also boasts stunning views of the well-preserved medieval walls connecting Ston and Mali Ston.
This lovely place in Ston, right on the water, brings in fresh oysters, fish, and other seafood daily from the bay. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We shared a nice bottle of white wine and ended up sitting there admiring the atmosphere for three whole hours! It was simply amazing.
Alicia B — Google review
Fresh oysters are highly recommended. We tried the grilled fresh fish as well. It was very good. We met the owner and he explained the history of Ston and the salt produce.
Pee A — Google review
Not really happy. The food was ok but not perfect. Had an oyster before dinner that was nice, but was charged 15 euro for a small 20cl bottle. Discovered it when we was home and should split the tab with our friends. One of us ordered a non alcohol beer and got a normal one, when they should change it i got it in my knees. Accidents can happen, but won't go back or recommend it to anyone.
Micke L — Google review
Great place to try sea food. Fresh oysters are much cheaper than in the bar right next to it. Excellent view, friendly staff.
Irina O — Google review
I came here for a black beer which was very good (bottle) and ended up seduced into having a dinner of Mussels cooked in garlic which could not be fresher n I have Bakus Ston to compare with. When I say seduced, I had the choice of 3 restaurants as I'm staying here n the other two were more expensive n more fine dining. It's restaurants or go hungry as Mali Ston pop 250 has nothing else. As a solo budget traveller, it was a simple decision. If food is ur priority, you won't be disappointed here. Good people, good food.
Ed L — Google review
Very tasty oysters, really good price. They offered to catch a fish ourselves which was a fun activity.
Maija B — Google review
This place was absolutely amazing. Antonio and his son Marco run it and we couldn't believe how welcoming they were. Antonio was extremely funny and loved taking pics with us. A must do when traveling between Dubrovnik and Split. It's worth making the stop. Yes, the food was top notch.
Gilbert S — Google review
Probably the best meal I've had in my life. Very homey vibes, the staff are great, welcoming, professional and share their good mood. The place is warm and cozy, with great views. There are fish tanks inside the dining area, so you can be sure the food is fresh. It is not only fresh, but also delicious! With every bite time stops and makes you enjoy the moment. I can't overstate how well the food was prepared. And they even gave us a gift upon departure:) I recommend this place with all my heart, it's the best❤️

Luka's Taverna Kobaš is a family-run restaurant located in a secluded bay near Dubrovnik, offering classic Dalmatian dishes made with fresh local ingredients. The menu changes daily to feature freshly caught seafood and produce from the family garden. The restaurant overlooks the inlet leading to Ston and has a shabby-chic interior with a Robinson Crusoe vibe. Visitors can enjoy swimming and relaxing by the sea, making it more than just a dining experience.
What a find! My partner and I visited this place for a special occasion, and it turned out to be an incredible surprise. We drove there from Dubrovnik, which took about an hour. The location is like a paradise—the restaurant is literally one meter from the sea, which is amazingly clean, with sea urchins dotting the shoreline. The water’s clarity and the peaceful atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. We started with a cold plate for two, and it was fresh and delicious—Adriatic cuisine at its finest. For the main course, we had Croatian wild fish, perfectly grilled, and paired it with two bottles of local Pošip, which was the perfect complement to our seafood feast. We came here based on a close friend’s recommendation, but now we’ll be the ones recommending it. Thank you, Kate, Nikša, and Admiral, for a great time. We’ll see you again!

Magical place and our favorite restaurant from our trip. This restaurant is located in a quiet fishing village which is used as a port for sailing and other boats today. The seafood is amazing here, it comes directly from the sea to the table. The food is prepared in a traditional way by the family run team headed by Luka. Highly recommend and hope to come back some time soon.
Roman Z — Google review
More than a dining experience, this place gives you a snapshot of a true family-run business that is deserving of all the recognition it receives. Visiting from the US for the Ston Wall Marathon weekend, Lukas had been on our list since planning the trip. The drive down from Ston is through a winding road (like most places here) and takes a little bit of perseverance to navigate, park, then walk down to the inlet shore where you'll find this waterfall tavern. I loved the cozy feel of the stone building and immaculate views. Freshly shucked oysters come straight out of the water in front of you. Octopus salad, an assortment of seafood prepared with vinegar and home made olive oil. They are doing things simply but using amazing ingredients and care I'm how they prepare it all. Speaking with other guests who have been coming for over 20 years, it's clearly a meaningful place and was a highlight of our trip to Croatia.
Chris R — Google review
One of the best places I’ve been in Croatia. Tucked away in Kobaš Bay. The family and I stopped by in route to Dubrovnik from Hvar. There is a road but towards the end things get a little confusing but you will park and walk towards the water and find it. We were greeted by presumable the owner, we order lots of different things, each was excellent. What I loved most was the seclusion and limited tourists. Excellent experience, bring cash or you will be working money.
Edward ( — Google review
This is small family owned restaurant with Fresh and organic Food. We’ve had delicious organic vegetables and fresh fish recently caught in the sea. Owner is really helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back whom ever comes will not regret the service and experience.

Superb food in a relaxed atmosphere. Luka’s offers a unique dining experience - it’s a tavern that serves high-quality food. Start with cold platter with amazing cured fish and sea food and make sure you also get an order of octopus salad: it will leave you wanting more. For a luxurious meal, make aure you order lobster-like sponge or babe as locals call them, a rare delicacy. Shellfish is heavenly. I would go for Korcula posip Moro. And the meal is complete.
Damir A — Google review
We stopped here on our drive from Dubrovnik to Split. This is one of our top meals of the trip. The drive to the place is part of the experience on narrow roads and through fields of grapes. This off the beaten path place is the quietest most tranquil place on a small marina. We were pointed out the oyster and mussels caught right off the dock in front of us. The octopus salad was the best I've ever had. Also you can swim right off the dock in front of the restaurant. Everything was delicious and I will recommend this to anyone I know going to Croatia.
Joanie A — Google review
This place is out of this world. Just when we thought we got lost in fields, we catched the road. I reccomend that you first drive to city Ston and then take the drive to Kobas. The place is worth the experience! Time stands still there. It is quiet, peacefull, nature is so raw and beautiful. Food is fresh, delicious and plentiful. If you don't eat seafood for any reason, order pasta pomodoro. It's fantastic!

Stagnum, located in Ston, Croatia, is a charming family-friendly restaurant offering a diverse menu featuring fish and seafood dishes like mussels and squid ink risotto, as well as pizza and steak options. Tucked away on a picturesque back street, the restaurant provides an enchanting dining experience with exceptional service. The secluded location adds to its captivating ambiance. Guests can enjoy their meals in the lovely outdoor garden while savoring juicy and flavorful mussels or indulging in delicious pizzas.
Don't be fooled by the fact that the restaurant is away from the main square and from where most of the tourists are sitting. The food here was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We had the fish platter for 2 (which could even be enough for 3) and loved every bite of. Would absolutely recommend.

Nice restaurant in Ston. Just had some pizza but they were tasty. I only wondered that they don’t serve olive oil for the pizza even if you ask but you can get tabasco. Nice place inside in the shadow. Friendly and attentive service.
Yo L — Google review
We chose Stagnum due to it's high rating and general praises read on the reviews. We were quite looking forward to this meal, though I must be honest and say it wasn't anywhere close to what we expected. Starting with the positives, the location is really nice with its own back garden, giving a really nice setting. We also have a nice waiter who, although forgetting our glass of wine, spoke excellent english and was extremely polite. Now, the negatives. We took a Beefsteak and Green Seafood Pasta. I asked for the beef to be cooked rare, Unfortunately it was just about blue (if not raw) as per photo. This was quite disappointing - understanding this is a fish restaurant, you'd still expect a chef to know how to cook a steak as per clients request. As regards to the Green Seafood Pasta, the pasta was well overcooked, the octopus was chewy (again, overcooked) and the mussels were not cleaned. Moreover, the sauce was full of broken shells. We're not the kind of people who stir an issue up in the middle of other guests dinners; but we do suggest making things clear with them when ordering your food as to ensure that food is cooked well, and to avoid our same disappointment.
Kris F — Google review
We came to this restaurant from Dubrovnik twice. Seafood was great, good portion and fresh. My wife had squid and she said that it was the best. The chocolate lava cake was exquisite! Totally worth the trip from Dubrovnik and the best food we had in Croatia.
Rahul B — Google review
Just had a fantastic meal. The ambience, the service and the food was fantastic. We both had beef steak cooked to perfection. The accompanying vegetables and home cooked chips were delicious. But the wine OMG. After we settled the bill we bought a litre of house red (from the family vinyard) to take home as it is absolutely beautiful 😍

We’ve ordered their Chicken soup (that costed €5) expecting a good quality broth. We got an instant noodle soup that tasted terribly, had a small piece of chicken (its captured on the photo) and barely any noodles. We asked to speak to the manager and eventually had an argument about the disgusting, cheapest instant soup you can have. He just said “You shoul’ve asked if its homemade or instant. Every restaurant serves instant soup.” I personally have had many restaurant soups, but they were NEVER INSTANT. Then after 3 minutes of having an argument he left. We went to pay and his mother came out. She started talking ahout how she makes homemade oyster soup and homemade fish soup. And if we’re expecting her to kill chicken to make a homemade soup. Then she proceeded to make a movement signaling “slitting her throat open” when talking about killing the chicken. She said how dare we talk bad about their business. Then she turned around and walked away and then we paid. Even for the instant soup.

The pizza here is something special, because it doesn’t just fill my stomach, it fills my heart too. On top of that, both the seafood and the meat dishes are outstanding and fresh. The staff are truly the best: kind, attentive, and always smiling. This place is more than a restaurant for me, it’s somewhere I know I’ll keep coming back to for the rest of my life.

Seosko domaćinstvo Ficović in Ston is a remarkable seafood restaurant known for its unparalleled freshness and quality of seafood. What makes it unique is that they cultivate their own shells in their sea farm, ensuring top-notch taste and quality. The restaurant offers a breathtaking view, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a fantastic meal amidst beautiful surroundings. It's also family-friendly, with nearby beach activities for kids. Situated by the sea, the location provides a stunning view at sunset.
I had an unforgettable amazing experience at Ficovic restaurant in Hodilje this summer. The food was undeniably the best I’ve ever had from fresh fish cooked traditionally home style to the best oysters in the world prepared 3 different ways. The service was exceptional and friendly. The Ficovic family deserves all the success that they have worked for over generations of discipline and love. The atmosphere is stunning and one of a kind. It felt like home and that was the way we were treated while spending our evening at their establishment. My recommendation to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely amazing food. Lovely setting. I ventured beyond the fish was greatly surprised; the steak is perfect! Very, very tasty and well served. The Ston cake is a must-try if you’re in the area (it’s sweet although it is made of pasta with nuts; very different than anything else but well worth trying). The experience would’ve been much better if the smokers were contained in a separate area.

Beautiful food and a beautiful view! The food we had was the best we’ve had in Croatia thus far - so fresh, so tasty and wonderful! Big thanks to Matty (Maté) our server who was so kind, attentive and offered great recommendations, bringing out the freshly caught fish for us to peruse and generally being great!

I had an amazing lunch today at Konoba Mandrac. The dining experience was a unique blend of restaurant ambiance and the warmth of being welcomed into someone's home. The seafood, freshly caught in the morning, was beautifully presented for customers to admire. Jalena, our gracious hostess, ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. This hidden gem is located away from the typical tourist spots, offering stunning views and a delectable menu.
This restaurant was such a treat for us. Located in a beautiful and peaceful area, my partner and I had the opportunity to enjoy freshly caught fish and oysters all with a beautiful view. Fish is bought fresh from local fishermen and the oysters were grabbed from the ocean a minute after ordering them. We were lucky enough to meet and talk with the owner who made us feel like royalty. His kindness, hospitality, and food are top notch. A meal and experience we will never forget. Thank you!

An Unforgettable Experience at Konoba Mandrac – Ston During our visit to the Ston area, we had the pleasure of discovering Konoba Mandrac, a truly special restaurant. The fresh fish is an unpleasant surprise. The waiter did not speak fluent English but he immediately referred us to the fresh fish: "80 euros a kilo, this one is 40 euros". Okay, and we chose the one wich was indicated as 40 euro. The weight was apparently a gross gamble. We asked to pay by card. The total amount was unexpectedly very high so I asked for the bill. He couldn't give a bill, "not possible, the machine does that after paying". After deciphering the small print, I saw that the fish was on the bill for 70 euros instead of 40 euros. I was completely baffled and speechless. Besides, the food was nothing special. Small portion of fish with black grilled vegetables and slices of white bread. Disappointing in many ways.

Nestled in a charming locale, Konoba Sorgo offers an inviting and homely atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for food lovers. Renowned for its delectable seafood, the menu features mouthwatering dishes like fresh shrimp and locally caught calamari, both grilled to perfection. The presentation is stunning, making each dish almost too beautiful to eat—almost!
The best is the genius loci and the manners of the owners. This is the tradition and spirit that is hard to find and experience these days and for me it was well worth the price. The cooked oysters were excellent and the fish and seafood delicious indeed. The unique taste of the dish is definitely a specialty of the house and very few places of the world can level that. .

We were the only customers at 4.30 pm and got excellent service. The food was good and the ambience is great. The staff speak English and the menu is in English too. Huge restaurant with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. Nice view of The Wall and the street below.

Very bad service with worst mussels sauce we ever tried, slow and unprofessional waiters and messy and dirty interior with aweful toilette. Their specialty only seems to be an invoice. They charged 3 course menu with house wine €125 eur per person, as if we were in a Michelin star restaurant.

We stayed in the apartments of Sorgo Palace and were treated to homely hospitality, breakfast included and had dinner as well. I can’t fault the hard work and efforts to please by Sonya, her husband and staff. Close to the Salt Works and the Fortifications, right in the heart of old town Ston.

We decided to stop at Sorgo in the afternoon, because we really felt like cake, which is hard to come by in this area for some weird reason. What a pleasant surprise their pasta cake (Stonska Torta) was! While its looks might be unusual the taste more than makes up for it. Update: for our second visit we were suggested to try the oysters and mussels, which we did. Our favorite were the fried oysters with Dalmatian ham. Decadent, spectacular and therefore highly recommended.
Sebastian D — Google review
Great food and homy atmosphere. They have great pizza, pasta and risotto, but seafood is the one that win me over. I ate shrimps, calamari and ice-cream. Shrimps were so tasty and fresh I cold “taste the sea”. They were served on big plate and were too beautiful to touch, but even better to eat. 🙂 Calamari were locally fished and grilled well. Fries were very tasty and crispy. I also tasted traditional desert called šporki makaruli which is made with pasta and walnuts, sugar and cinnamon filling. It is quite filling and strong in taste, and I couldn’t ate the whole piece of cake, but if you like cakes like baklava I would recommend you to try this too.

Restaurant with a long tradition. It was cool enough and we were sitting inside the restaurant. Cozy homely atmosphere, the interior has a lot of paintings and details. We ate Sorgo mussels, which were delicious, and three types of risotto - white, red and black. It is interesting that each of us had his own favorite, so I can conclude that everyone was good. Please note that without your order, it is brought and included in the price couver. It is brought on the person and represents a shell with a fish paste. If you consider that it is tasty and satisfying with bread, then, in principle, there is nothing to worry about. In addition, this practice is also present in other restaurants in Ston and Little Ston.

Igor and the team in Sorgo took great care of me. A great family business. Good food at fair prices. Even helped me update the parking for an extra hour as the sms system would not work from my Irish number. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Upon visiting Konoba Maestral in Ston for the first time, one can't help but feel delighted. The experience begins with a delightful platter consisting of octopus salad, fish pate, and anchovies - a perfect starter. Moving on to the main course, grilled prawns on skewers with vegetables and green pasta infused with seafood prove to be an excellent choice. The generous portion size includes various types of shells and is incredibly flavorful.
My partner and I had just finished hiking the walls at Ston and wandered into the old town for lunch. Ran into a friendly man who said the restaurant was his family and decided to support the family owned business. My spouse ordered the sea bass filet I ordered the steamed mussels in a white wine sauce. Both plates were very tasty and we thought more fresh than the dinner we had in Dubrovnik the previous nite. The sea bass was crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. The mussels were also larger than the ones we had in Dubrovnik. They also gave us a complimentary fish pate prior to our lunch. We sat outside and it was very relaxing. Service was good and not pushy. Highly recommended.

Very bad food. We ordered the dish with different shells like oyster, mussels and clams and the chicken rolls with cheese and prosciutto. The shells were not very tasty, most of them were not cleaned, some smelled rotten and the overall impression was just not good. We didn't eat it all, because of this and left the restaurant still hungry. Then the chicken rolls. They were covered in A LOT of some weird white sauce which tasted like nothing. The chicken was super dry and looked like it was already waiting some time before getting served (and try to cover it up with the white sauce). The prosciutto and cheese made up a little bit for the tasteless and dry chicken and sauce. But even in the cheese where some dried up pieces. Then the little 'salad' that came with the chicken. Normally you get some lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, dressing, you name it. Nope, this was just a half leaf of lettuce and a half slice of tomato on top... Only good thing is that the waiter was friendly. But it also feels like he lures us in with his nice talking about the fresh oysters and fresh food...
T K — Google review
!!! ASK FINAL PRICE IN ADVANCE !!!! They advertise oysters for 1.3 euro, and when ordering they dont mention it costs 2.5 euros per oyster if its cooked. It feels like a scam when they dont be honest upfront. Better to avoid the bait. Food was average. I asked for coffee with milk and instead i got espresso with few drops of milk in it. Bad service and they charge a service fee of 1.2 euros per person. In total i got charged 15 euros for something that is advertised as 7.5 euros on the menu !

Me and my family had a great lunch experience at Konoba Maestral when visiting Ston. Out of this world fresh oysters, tomato soup, fish soup, octopus salad, fried fish with vegetables, and pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious. Customer service was great. Our food was ready in a few minutes and at the end we were offered the house grappa which was a very nice touch from the owner. If you visit Ston don't forget to drop by this restaurant, you will not regret.

So, first time in this restaurant in Ston and... Really happy!! We share like a small plater wiith octopus salad, fish pate, anchovies for the first meal... It was good and it was enough for the starter! Later we had some grilled prawns on the stick with vegetables and green pasta with sea food which I definitely recommend! Portion is big with prawns and different type of shells and so tasty!! For desert we had few oisters😁.. Yes.. In our area we ate oisters after meal! House white wine Pošip was also so good! We ate on the cosy terrace in front of restaurant. Finally.. We spend 25 euro per person, which is really ok even for local people.. Definitely coming back!! P. S. Almost forgot... Service is perfect! Waiter was very pleasent and professional!

We thought we were lost on our drive to Zadar and stumbled across this restaurant. The waiter was extremely nice and welcoming, and we decided to have late lunch there. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees, which they combined them into two large dishes. Additionally, the homemade focaccia bread that they served was exceptional with olive oil and salt. The atmosphere is fantastic, we sat outside, surrounded by olive trees, flowers, and the beautiful pier with crystal clear water. The temperature was perfect, with some sun but a cool, gentle breeze. The appetizer of an assortment of fishes, olives, and grilled zucchini was absolutely delicious paired with the focaccia. The combination of creamy, salty fish and the fluffy bread will blow your mind. The waiting time for the main dish was a little long, but so worth it. The local fish, with no english name and grilled onions, potatoes, carrots, peppers, and zucchinis were cooked to perfection while maintaining the original flavor of each ingredient. The extremely fresh fish, with a slight pink sear was not dry at all and soaked up all of the butter and vegetable flavors. On the other hand, the veggies in butter were delicious and contained traces of the fish. Overall, this is such a great restaurant with beautiful views, food, and service. However, the drive to find it can be a little tricky since the road is extremely narrow for two lanes of cars.

Konoba Baća is a family-friendly restaurant with great service and delicious food. The mussels and oyster flower are highly recommended, while the French fries with truffle sauce and grana padano are a must-try. It's not a tourist trap and offers reasonably priced meals. The restaurant serves the freshest local oysters, fresh tuna fillet, slow-aged beef, as well as excellent meat and vegetarian options.
Great food and atmosphere. Had a delicious truffle burger and NA beer. You know it's good when the locals are eating there. The server was attentive and spoke English. The atmosphere watching the little square was wonderful. Ston is totally worth a short stop, and if you're hungry, I highly recommend Konoba Baća!

Excellent food and excellent service. We tried their burgers, oysters, fresh salad and dessert. Kids loved the food and so did we. Good sized portions. Nice historical location with views of the town and its fortifications. We plan to visit again during the week.

Friendly and professional service is a rare find these days but this place delivers. Food is what I would call reliable and deffinitely not a tourist trap. Proven recipes with local ingredients. I got a recommendation to try chevap :) and actual potatoes cut as pommes frites was a pleasant surprise. Meat was of high quality, but now I regret not having some seafood dish. At first opportunity, I will. (Octopus salad I tasted wasn't enough to create any opinion) Not to forget, home made bread (!) and reasonable prices in comparison. Looking forward to dine here again.

Đardin Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and friendly staff. The tuna steak is highly recommended, while the tuna salad may be hit or miss. The fried small fish and pizza are also noteworthy dishes. Additionally, the carbonara, Greek salad with amazing feta, and seafood options like mussels and shrimp soup are worth trying. The restaurant's local cuisine includes fresh seafood such as seashells and fish soup, along with Dardin risotto and Croatian wines.
We had a wonderful dinner at Dardin at Ston. Our waiter Mateo was a very polite and friendly young man and looked well after us and our children during dinner. Not all food choices were a winner to be honest. But you got to try things to find out what you like and what you don't. The fried small fish wasn't a hitter unfortunately. The set up in the restaurant is very good and we could sit at the table near TV so children could be entertained by their favourite YouTube shows.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Restaurant Dardin in Ston. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious, and it’s clear the kitchen puts real care into everything they serve. What made our visit truly special, though, was the service. Our waiter, Matteo, was outstanding — exceptionally kind, friendly, and attentive from the moment we sat down. He made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. It’s rare to come across such warm and professional service. If you’re visiting Ston and looking for a fantastic meal in a relaxed and charming setting, Dardin is a must. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Dardin Restaurant. If you're looking for the freshest, most expertly prepared seafood in Ston, this is the place. The local oysters were unbelievable—truly the salty taste of the Adriatic Sea. For our main course, we had pasta seafood dishes and a caramel desert, and everything was perfectly cooked. The service was prompt and very friendly. The desert was on the house which really topped off the experience. A definite must-visit for anyone craving authentic, high-quality Dalmatian seafood! Highly recommended!

There's no question it's the best restaurant in Ston. The food was first class; beautifully presented and such good prices. Our Waiter Mateo, not only spoke excellent English, but holds an excellent knowledge of the seafood and local area. His attention to detail was matched by his excellent table service. We eat at a lot of restaurants, and as a former hospitality employee, I recognise an exceptional restaurant. Well done to Matteo and all the staff at Dardin, you made our lunch the best in Croatia. A tip, you must try the Male Ston Oysters: utterly delicious and cheaper at Dardin the other nearby restaurants. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Barba Ston in Ston was a great place to stop for lunch in Ston. The oyster platter was very fresh and flavorful, and both the squid burger and squid ink risotto were surprisingly great—really unique and delicious. We also tried some local wines, which paired well with the seafood. It’s definitely a bit overpriced for the area, but the service was friendly and the quality made it feel worth it. We didn’t even make it past the door, so I can’t speak to the food. What I can comment on is the unacceptable treatment we received from the staff. Our adult children went in a few minutes ahead of us to check if a table was available for our party of nine. While waiting, one of my children needed to use the restroom. While my 20-year-old daughter was inside, a staff member tried to force the door open. He then physically removed my 13-year-old from the restaurant. When I arrived shortly after to explain our brief delay, the same staff member yelled at me, saying this was “not a place to use the toilet but to eat.” I clarified that we were there to dine, but he continued to be rude and made both children feel unsafe. This was a disturbing and unprofessional experience that left us feeling completely unwelcome. We left and chose another nearby restaurant instead (natura ston) and the contrast could not have been greater. The staff there were warm, respectful, and made our dining experience truly enjoyable.
