Returned for an anniversary meal and wasn’t disappointed. Service by Lauren and Freya tonight were first class, very attentive friendly and polite. Checked in to see if everything was ok. Atmosphere was very subtle and not noisy, could hear ourselves chat. Food was amazing thank you chef, Nathan could not fault anything from king prawns, starter. My pork belly was delicious, and my partners main course sea bass looked yummy. I’ve already recommended Brampton Mill to my family and friends, cannot wait to return thank you

Stunning! Arrived here a bit later on a Friday night on our way back to the south west from Norfolk. Comes recommended on trip advisor and it's not hard to see why. Service was excellent. Food superb. Pork belly excellent and the scallops tasty and well cooked. Hallomi burger was a treat and portions decent. Coffee also superb. Strongly recommend a visit!

Went there during the weekend to grab some Sunday lunch. Ordered the chicken and beef roasts, the beef was quite tough to chew on, and the billionaire fries had a strong taste of horse-radish, which some people may dislike so just putting it out there as it's not started on the menu. They had bottomless gravy which was great.

We stopped here after our walk, it had such a cute vibe, our servers Bea and Callum were really friendly and attentive. We initially booked outdoor, but due to the weather had to sit indoor but the staff accommodated easily. The food was lovely, we had the rotisserie chicken with fries and tenderstem side. It was hearty and a nice treat after a long walk! Would recommend!

Visited today for my mums birthday. Party of 9 people. Food was delicious and everyone was impressed. Waitresses were amazing - Caitlin, Emily and Katie! Nothing was too much trouble and they didn’t complain about the number of trips they had to go down the stairs to fetch us things (we were seated in the highest point in the pub!). Mum even received a complimentary dessert! My only negative was a pesky wasp but the pub can’t be blamed for that! You do need to book well in advance for a table on a Sunday, but I think that speaks volumes! It’s worth the wait! 10/10. We will be back! Picture of the chocolate bomb which by brother loved! X

Fantastic first time at The Brampton Mill for Sunday lunch and you will not be disappointed! Although it was busy we weren't left forgotten and Callum and Harriet made sure we were fully looked after the whole time and as for Lee in the kitchen the food was banging! Book, you won't be disappointed and we will return!

Honestly, I was expecting to be here from 1st Jan. Because I had a great experience in another pizza express in London before Christmas. But, I’m so disappointed. Nothing is as good as the London one. I can’t believe it. Bad service, bad ingredients. London use prawn and they use shrimps from coop. The pizza….hard to say. The only same thing is the beer, same brand .

It's literally blade, the dough was so slim, I'm short of words, I wish I can share a video of it. I'm regular pizza person and it's my first time ordering from you guys. I'm beyond disappointed. It's horrendous considering the cost. It's very dry, and also cam without sauce.

10/10 — Outstanding family visit! We popped into PizzaExpress last night with the children and their friends and had the best experience. From the warm welcome to the speedy seating, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. The kids’ Piccolo menu was a huge hit (dough balls disappeared in seconds!), and the mains arrived hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Staff were brilliant with the little ones—friendly, patient, and super organised—and they took real care with our dietary needs, which we really appreciated. Atmosphere was lively but comfortable, tables were spotless, and service was perfectly timed—quick without ever feeling rushed. Great value, delicious pizzas, and genuinely lovely people running the floor. Massive thanks to the team for making it so easy for a group with kids in tow. I've used this branch regularly for the past couple of months as a late walk-in. Each time I've been I've always been made to feel very welcomed, and even though I've been there until almost closing the team have always been attentive and friendly. As for the food. Well, I'm a fairly consistent diner so I can compare my regular order to other branches I’ve visited and I can honestly say the pizzas at this branch are consistently some of the best I’ve ever had. When I get back to Huntingdon I shall definitely be paying more visits. So yes, if you’re thinking of visiting yourself, I’d recommend it without doubt!

Planning a long distance drive and decided to book in here for a welcoming break and lunch. Staff seemed more pre- occupied with their friends/ family who were also eating there, no smiles just very much, take your order and walk off. The food was ok but not half as good as our local Sudbury one. Personally I wouldn't recommend visiting here unless your family, it made us feel very unwelcome and had an atmosphere. Shame because I love pizza express. On the plus side pizza express do now do vegan cheese which is great.

AMAZING pizza, truly unique and unlike most which use those plain, breadlike *pizza bases.* FRESH toppings and just downright delicious. Loved the Pizza naise sauce too! A nice treat all 'round! A+++++

We pooped on a last minute idea. We were quickly seated and service was great. Food was nice just as you would expect.

This has to be one of the strangest takeaway meals I have ever had! This was £20! It was bland with absolutely no flavour, It was pretty much a Mediterranean style dish, it was also very greasy and all I could taste was grease. Really over priced for a small portion what had no flavour. Really bizarre type of dish, definitely not Thai food! Delivery was very fast, that was the only positive thing about the experience The meal I ordered was the Weeping Tiger! Not the “pad nam man hoi” As you can see from the owners response to my review they don’t even know what their food is!! says it all really 😂 Also this meal came with cucumber which I don’t eat, the Weeping Tiger doesn’t state that it comes with cucumber

Duck green curry was good and was a decent portion size. Sadly the 2 sides I ordered where a little underwhelming with the salted squid being a soggy and a small portion size and the prawn toast being very greasy. I would still order again but would stick to the main dishes. I went into the restaurant to collect my food as a takeaway, when I went in the place was empty but looked clean and nice for those considering eating in.

Had a really nice meal here last night. The waitress gave good personal recommendations and the food was fresh and tasty. Sat not far from the front door under the heater! A good choice as people kept leaving the door open! Choice to dine here was based on Trip Adviser and the good feedback and comments left by the business owner there, in fact it’s those replies that swung it! Very nice and our thanks to the lovely waitress 👌

Last place we ate out before lockdown, first place we ate out at when places reopened. Delicious Thai food at reasonable prices. I could drink the sauce for the Panang curry on its own. Transports me to somewhere exotic and faraway. Not easy on Huntingdon High Street.

Came here on Sunday (17.8.25) with my mum and we both loved it here. It was both our first time eating here and it was such a refreshing experience! We both ordered the chicken and bacon Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious! We were both pleasantly surprised to know the chicken and bacon was heated. The staff were very friendly when they came to check on us. It was very helpful and easy to order from the table via a QR code. Food was also very reasonably priced and came out quicker than I expected! Will definitely be back! Thank you Olmo!

A lovely find in Huntington! We visited twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Food was delicious both times, lots to choose from and good value. Very nice cocktails too! The decor and atmosphere is nice and relaxing, tables aren't all too close together. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, even noticing we were in twice and asking us about our visit.

Much better than having a caf fry up! We had colourful breakfast quesadillas to start off our day. No beige here! Extensive menu. Lots of space. Outside seating. Pleasant music on a Sunday morning. Clean and tidy after a probably busy Saturday night The place does look like, and albeit pretty, pub chain which might serve partially pre-cooked food but it's much better than some of the other places in the area that look posher from the outside (mentioning no names). Contact free ordering via QR codes on the table.

Another very good Loungers with impeccable service. I mentioned to the young female manager that I'm a fan of the brand and have visited over 50 and I received a generous treat. Very good Cruzcampo and a smart interior.

Had the Korean Fried Chicken Burger. Just 2 tenders on a bun with dressing (lettuce, sauce, etc). Definitely not buttermilk or fried, at least not recently. Bland. Most of the flavor came from the cheese. Bun was not fresh. Coleslaw was swapped for a “side salad”. No heads up or approval, just “this is what you get now.” Photos of the food aren’t flattering, but the camera only captured what it saw. Do not recommend.

Tapas portion sizes are extremely small- expensive for what you get. Chip portions are extremely small. Sweet potato fries were burnt. One meal was cold when should be hot. Only got a tiny quarter piece of flatbread for the mezze grill- which includes 3 skewers (pricier dish as well). Nice drinks choice though.

Love this place. Stayed in Huntingdon for a week on a work trip. Ate here every single evening instead of the hotel. The food is delicious. All well cooked and tasty. Tried many different dishes, as well as trying the drinks and cocktails. I’ll be back again soon!

"Ula" was our service provider and she did a great job. Food was served hot and tasted delicious.

Fancied a pizza - nothing fancy just something tasty. Bella Italia was just that. Pizzas are large enough to enjoy without any extras and are cooked perfectly. Parking is a bit hit & miss because of being on a cinema complex and being a Saturday night is was very busy. And the restaurant was at bursting point. However we were greeted warmly - and thankfully we had booked - and shown to our table without any delay. Was a bit noisy as there was a 12th birthday party in progress with about 8 children plus adults. That was a bit off putting - maybe limit children's parties to not evening dining? But our waiting staff were incredible given how busy they were.

If you have not tried the Darjeeling since it was taken over a few years ago you must try again. World class food and service. Excellent paneer veggie options too just ask they will oblige! One of the best Indians I have visited. Great value too!

The food was delicious! Good vegetarian selection, highly recommend the paneer karhari! And the poppadoms and condiments were fresh and yummy!

Chicken still cold and pink in the middle, rude member of staff on the phone trying to convince me that because it was and I quote “cooked twice” that it couldn’t possibly still be pink in the middle, he then also proceeded to tell me that chicken can be served pink in the middle. Delivery driver collected the meal in question and I was promised a refund, two weeks later I’m still yet to receive a refund. Coincidentally when visiting my barbers last week it turns out that he and his brother were feeling rather unwell after having had a takeaway from here the night before.

I used to eat here back in 2009 then I moved away for a while. Was quite pleased to return and see the restaurant is still here. Great food and great service!! Will definitely return 🙌🏾

OK where to start, Haveing seen many recent good reviews we thought we would give the new Darjeeling under new management a try. We ordered online for collection for 6.00 pm acknowledgement received order available for collection 6.20 not a problem. While I was waiting for my order I thought I would also pick up a copy of latest special offers and menu. With plates ready on my arrival home and while starting to plate up we noticed some additional poppadoms not ordered nice start. Onion bhaji looked very nicec if a bit bland, it was only when eating I noticed they were very floury and not at all well cooked. The other starter Also Chat was all potatoes looking very aged overcooked with lots of sauce. The mains Tandoori Salmon with special request extra well cooked, well cooked, it was not the rest of the dish was very poor quality. Another Main and normally a favourite Chefs special murgi masala, mince was in large chunks chicken appeared to be some old tandoori chicken thrown in for good measure and as dry as dry with the sauce. Additions Saag Aloo more yellow translucent potatoes looking as if the time had been cooked out of the several days prior. Not of course forgetting the salad, brown and decaying. How could this get any Worse? Those online prices 19% more expensive than the menu prices are menu. Onion bhaji menus cost 3.45 online price 4.10, Murgi Masala menus price 9.95 online price over 11.80 and Tandoori Salmon from 12.95 to over 15.40 . I may have been unlucky with the food but the pricing is just wrong. The one star was for the extra popadoms if you were wondering, the food was all very poor with most going in the bin. Take away price before discount over £44.00.

Interesting Indian restaurant. Wednesday night special was great value for £17 per head. Last time we passed by it in March 2018, it was closed.

W decided to have a curry tonight so we ordered from the Darjeeling in Huntingdon..chicken dansak,keema rice,lamb byriani Bombay potatoes chips and some papadoms..omg the food is absolutely lovely with decent size portions but the only down fall was the delivery time.delivery time was 1830-1850 but turned up at 1920hrs but it was worth waiting for.i highly recommend this place if you want a lovely curry…

We arrived at very short notice as part of a large party of 12. We were looked after by Jacob and Debbie, who were excellent. The food was great too. We would definitely come again.

Had a fantastic stay at the George hotel Amanda, Marion and the team very friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic and great value 2 mains and 2 drinks for £30 winner 👍the hotel is slap bang in the centre of town right opposite the Oliver Cromwell museum and high street shopping centre just outside. Couldn't fault this hotel and already looking forward to our next stay 👍👍

I booked 10 rooms for a fishing party, we were fishing at Grafham Water the accommodation was perfect. Comfy beds in super clean rooms. The staff accepted my request for an early breakfast on the Saturday. The meal for 24 people was served by 4 staff, all the meals were hot and nice portions. Would recommend this to all.

Just popped in for a fizz Friday drink and a pint and really lovely to see a great improvement in the outside area. Tidy tables/plant and clear of weeds. Well done folks I will be recommending

Lovely, caring staff, excellent breakfast. Sadly the bed was equipped with one sheet and a duvet was available. However the duvet was probably about 10+ tog. Far too heavy for the summer. I asked at reception for a second sheet which would have been adequate. It didn’t happen. A very kind staff member put the duvet on my bed so I tossed around all night failing to get angry sleep.

We are three sisters who meet here twice a year, and have lunch - it was excellent today as always. Two roast dinners & a risotto, beautiful sweets & wine. Service was very good Alex and Nunzia. See you next time Sue, Mel & Liz

First visit to the Rajpoot with family and we weren’t disappointed. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and super friendly and efficient staff. We had a nice chat with the owners who gave us some very interesting details about the history of the building. This rounded off a terrific evening. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our experience this evening. The food was great with lots of flavour and the prices were good. The staff were all very attentive and friendly and Sami very kindly catered to our allergy requests and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be back!

Chicken starter was absolutley delicious. Made with chicken breast cubes well marinated and served with salads on the side. Portion size can be a bit more genorous.But I rate 8/10 easily. Lamb biriyani didn't meet the expectations.Firstly the lamb chunks were too big .But there was a plenty of meet in it. But I didn't get the authentic biriyani flavours in it.The things were further complicated with adding green peas in it. The portion size was generous and can share with two people. I will only give flat 6/10 for the Biriyani.

We booked a large group event and the team at the local curry house was great. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. Everyone had a good time.

We visited here on the 20th June 2025 as a family of four. Discovered this place by complete fluke and was surprised to see it wasn't busy on a Friday evening (although we did go there early). This is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants that we have ever eaten in. The food was amazing - some really authentic new dishes that I've never tried before. Huge portions - we even a took away a doggy bag. The bill was very reasonable, we had plenty to eat. The Staff were amazing, particularly Sami and Rahim! What a great place, will definitely visit again!

Another restaurant not really serving the cuisine that it is advertised . Upon explaining my dissatisfaction I was told that people like you meaning my ethnic origin don’t like our food . This is really disappointing and ruined the evening. The explanation that is given is we tailor for the locals …which is a poor excuse . If the food was served and cooked correctly then I would have not complained . It was powdery , the same meat is used in multiple dishes added with what looks like pre-made jars of curry paste you can buy from a supermarket . My view save your money and go to Marks and Spencer you’ll have a better meal .

Had a delicious meal here after hearing great things. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and make it a great evening. I was expecting more of a “show kitchen”, but it is basically like looking at a takeaway kitchen. The food is very tasty and much better quality than a takeaway kebab place. The portions are large, and some of the big platters look incredible. The food was not greasy at all and tasted very fresh and traditional. I had the mixed doner with fries. Had the baklava to finish which was lovely, but clearly just bought in boxes. Served with Turkish tea, and the hosts kindly gave out free alcohol shots while I was there. All the drinks are bottled, so don’t expect a pint. The decor is nice, the staff are lovely, but the grilled meats are the star attraction. Note: There is a 10% tip automatically added to your bill, which I’m not a fan of.

The mixed grill was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Mr. Faisal, who was exceptionally welcoming and made the experience even better. I’d definitely rate it a solid 5 out of 5!

Really cannot recommend enough, host is the loveliest man and so welcoming. The food is exceptional and so delicious. Although quiet it’s open and clean and such a great place to eat.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the best Turkish food I’ve had in the UK! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a family-owned restaurant back in Turkey. The kebabs were cooked to perfection, the mezes were fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. I especially loved the Adana kebab – simply amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. We finished with oven-baked rice pudding and baklava, and honestly, it’s hard to find this quality even in Turkey. Topped off with a perfectly brewed Turkish coffee – what more could you ask for? One of the rare places in the UK that truly represents Turkish cuisine with authenticity and heart. I’ve been here multiple times, and the quality and hospitality are always top-notch. Highly recommend – go with confidence! 👏👏

Had a meal for my son's birthday, we had the set meal for four, it was absolutely amazing. Huge portion and very tasty. We couldn't finish it so took it home and had two more meals! Can't wait to go back, highly recommended👍

We visited this Turkish restaurant today at 5 pm and were warmly welcomed by the cheerful and friendly owner, who greeted us as if we were old friends. We started with some starters, which were very good, followed by the main dishes that were absolutely delicious and served in huge portions. Along with good wine and a bit of bubbly, the whole evening was simply wonderful. The prices are fair, the service extremely kind, and the food outstanding. The only small downside is that service is automatically included in the bill, which not everyone appreciates. However, when we offered to leave an extra tip, the waitress kindly refused, explaining that the service charge already included was enough. We truly respect this attitude. We will definitely be coming back🤩

Dough & Co, Huntingdon, England Pizza, pasta, cakes... all things dough I guess. Modern, spacious and clean. Only a few people in restaurant both times we visited. (Our first stop was next door at Nandos, but they were out of both of my selections, so we went across the car park to Dough & Co; much better). Large wood-fired clay oven does great job cooking pizzas. Ambience: 4-star; Food selection and quality: 4-star; Service: 4-star; Parking: 4-star; Price: 4-star; Value: 4-star. Overall: 4-star (Note: To the family of 5 with 3 young ones: I was not overly bothered by your kids running throughout the restaurant--obviously you weren't. Either the restaurant staff or yourselves should have had the courtesy to allow other patrons to enjoy themselves as much as your kids did.)

My children like the pizza here, which is not bad. The Calzone is also very nice. My only complaint is that there is little on the menu besides pizza and pasta. The salads are tasty, but too small to be a true meal.

Generally speaking, the pizza is excellent, although it is a neopolitan style which some may not expect. Occasionally the cheese is undercooked and rubbery, other times the base can be a bit crispy. I think these are to some degree acceptable risks of wood fired pizza, but they should be mitigated by skill and quality control. Tonight our pizza was a bit rare but donuts were burnt to the extent that opening the tub, you could only smell the charred smell of burnt food and not the donuts. The bits of donut that were not burnt were delicious all the same. The staff who take orders on the phone are always very friendly, often going above and beyond what would be expected of them. I've never had anything other than a very pleasant experience dealing with them. Pricing is expensive but fair, sometimes. I'm not sure how but occasionally I end up paying close to £50 for what should be £30 plus delivery - I'm not sure how this has happened but it has happened twice now. I'm not sure if it's because of the way I'm ordering, or just because the till system is confusing and messy. The business is conjoined with Burger Amour, which is a less enjoyable but still decent venture. The burgers are very good, my only real complaint being that they use smoked bacon, so they serve it rare to avoid excessive saltiness, although if you ask they will give it an extra cooking for you, at which point it's pretty much like eating extremely salty food with little else in the way of flavour. Their cheese and bacon loaded fries are pretty good, but again suffer some quality issues, occasionally being a bit raw. All in all, I put my complaints mostly down to a mix of the business at this address being relatively new. The service is excellent. The price is relatively high at well over £10 per adult pizza, but it's justified when they get everything spot on, and I wouldn't call it unreasonable even if they make a bit of a mess of things - you can't really get food like this in the area, if at all.

Great to see more restaurants opening up locally. Food was nice, pasta was tasty and so was the pizza, although it could have done with slightly longer in the oven. Service was friendly but extremely slow - we were there 2 hours for one course and wanted dessert but it was approaching 10pm at this point! Probably just teething issues for a new restaurant and we still had a nice night, we'll give it another chance!

Outstanding customer service, everyone was so friendly. Food was all fresh and delicious. Pasta was fantastic perfectly cooked good bite but not hard. Children loves the pizza even eating their crusts which they normally leave. Pricing is very fair and good value. Look forward to our next trip. Only negative is kids love chips with their pizza and they do not serve chips. Now used there order service. The burgers for takeaway are 5*, pasta is just as good. Cajun fries are the right balance between spice and heat. Service is outstanding still

Thought we'd try out this new pizza place as we hadn't heard of or seen it before. Very nicely decorated inside, I liked the wooden theme, and that you could see the cooking of the pizzas in a proper pizza oven. Food looked and tasted great, and the doughnut desert was very nice too. Very nice proper dough pizzas and the garlic pizza bread started was very good. Could maybe be more garlicky though but otherwise very good. We really enjoyed eating here and would certainly go back again. Thank you.

A friendly enough local with a typically old school pub vide, with pool, slot machines, and a tv for sports. Limited beer selection, but what I had was fine. It a spacious place, with a young crowd.

Good place to sit down and have a beer. They had a renovation since the last time I here so it feels more homey. They do not have food or snacks, but the staff was really nice.

We went there last night and my friend suddenly couldn’t hold herself up and walk, before asking if she was okay or offering help we was instantly told to leave knowing we’re 4 girls and would be in the streets alone with no help. She ended up needing an ambulance for a suspected spiking weather here or from somewhere else the lack of empathy really shows how bad the staff and welfare is. Definitely don’t recommend if you’re looking for a safe space to get drunk especially if you’re young girls.

Nicely decorated, cheap prices, friendly service. Many sports TV screens and a music video screen. We went on a Friday night and there was a DJ playing music later on. There's an outside seating area if the weather's right. Shame they have no food. Very good atmosphere.

Nice quaint place to come to where you can get a decent meal and a delicious pint of ale. The facility itself is very well designed and the overall feel inside is very vintage England. They have an outside area to hang out when the weather is nice. The food is good overall too. The sticky toffee is amazing and the ice cream is fantastic. Beers here are very affordable and they sport a nice selection and variety of brews. I'd definitely recommend if you're in Huntingdon

It's funny. As I was in Huntingdon 1st time, before I went there I asked locals if is worth to eat there. They said now is better than in the past. And yes, it was worth to go and seat. Good food, very nice staff. If you stop there and hungry I can recommend this place.

Best pizza in town made by a very proud chef with over 20 years of experience and a very kind and nice lady that is serving at the bar. Nice and tidy place, very tasty food 😍 The best thing is that they also do delivery so if i want a great pizza without leaving my house, i will definitely order from here. I would rate this more than 5 ⭐️ if i could. 5⭐️+ 😍😍😍.

Visited today and had and absolutely fantastic meal. I had the Steak and Ale pie which I would thoroughly recommend, wife had steak which was cooked exactly as requested. Will definitely be visiting again. Everything was top notch Rob and his staff excelled in our dining experience. Please pass on our thanks.. 👍

I came in here the other night and the mangers where getting ready to sort the floor out they said, My thoughts were good luck it’s knackered finish my lovely pint and left. I came in today and was gobsmacked it’s looks brand new. I ended up sitting there drinking about 6 pints just looking at the floor. Well done lovely pub with managers that care about it

£10 for jug Pepsi should be The Godfather but all you can taste is pepsi not Jim Beam or Disaronno they put one shot of each ( should be 2) when I say something I'm wrong I've work in bars so I should know it should be 2. They have got 2 for £9 work it out 🤔🤔

Came in here with my mum and dad for lunch. There was a huge range of choice on the menu (catering for all as we had vegans/vegetarians). The food was good quality and great value for money with big generous portion sizes. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be coming here again!

Cromwells is a town centre venue bar that does food. It doesn’t specialise in anything in particular, the menu offers a little of everything for pretty much everyone, the quality is above expectation, the value for money, certainly for the portion size, is tremendous. The place is clean, well presented, the staff deal with customers in a real world manner, if you’re rude or abrupt or act entitled, then expect to be treated that way. Overall, it’s a good place go, day or night. Weekend evenings are loud and lively, with DJ’s, the dance floor is a good size, with good sound and lighting. The entry conditions promote a safe environment and security is visible and proactive, with zero tolerance for unruly behaviour. All in all, it’s a good venue that delivers what you want it to be. If you’re not willing to compromise your ideals, then stick to your usual haunts, it’s not a venue problem if you stamp your feet when you can’t get what you want, like some so called reviews on here, I went to a vegan restaurant the other day and asked for a beef steak, I couldn’t get one, point being, Cromwells doesn’t profess to be anything other than a bar/cafe, it’s not trying to change the world or be the future, which is in itself comforting. Well worth a visit.

3 of us went for lunch. 11.07.25 There was no one else in the restaurant apart from us so it was quiet. My piece of plaice was quite large, a very generous portion. Cooked fresh and the chips were lovely. A generous portion, more than I could eat. The senior Cod & chips again was cooked fresh and very generous portions. The batter on the fish was not too dark and very crispy. I would recommend giving HODSONS a try.

The best fish and chips in many many miles, there are various fish options, including cod and haddock, all perfectly battered and fried to crispy perfection. Each bite reveals tender, flaky fish that's full of flavor. The generous portions and golden, chunky chips make for a satisfying meal.

We were near Huntingdon and had a look on Trip Advisor to find Fish & Chips on a Friday, the Cod was lovely with crispy batter and white moist flaky fish, the chips were cooked well but not soggy and the staff were cheerful. So give them a go.

I have been coming to Hodsons for many years and have always enjoyed top quality fish and chips. We like to sit in and particularly love that the batter is always crisp. Recently I brought a big gang to celebrate my birthday and they were extremely accommodating, seating arranged for me in advance. First choice, no hesitation!

A few co-workers and I came here a few weeks ago. We really enjoyed our food. I thought the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The only reason why it doesn't get a 5 star is because I thought the batter could have used some flavoring. Other than the lack of seasoning, I thought the fish was cooked to perfection and not overly oily. The service was really good too!

It was nice and clean with friendly staff u ordered the large cod special. I was disappointed with the size of the fish although it was fresh and tasteful. I asked for the chips to be double fried and I must say I was very impressed with them as a lot of fish shops dont understand the old tradition of cooking chips. Over all it was very nice but for me a big let down was the size of the fish.

Food here is always amazing, crispy batter and lovely fresh chips. Polite staff who always listen to requests. Would recommend this shop 😊

Table booked & on arrival shown to a dirty table, which there was lots of. Had to wait an hour for a drink, finally got our food after nearly an hour & half. Would like to say a massive thank you to NAOMI, we had her as our waitress & her service was outstanding & she definitely deserves a pay increase as a valued employee & career progression would be highly recommended.

Another fabulous meal at Chi Huntingdon. The food was superb, hot and freshly cooked. We were stunned to learn that the chef of our delicious food was only 17 years old! Top notch Maddy! Our waitresses, Ellie and Niso were super friendly and efficient and went out of their way to make lunch special. All in all a fabulous lunch out for a birthday treat.

This was our first time at Chi, it was ok the staff were very attentive and service was prompt and polite. The food was ok but for a fusion of Japanese and Korean food the food was a bit confusing. Some food was very spicy which was not really needed. Some of the food was not as described on the menu. Quite a lot of it was odd interpretation of what the food should be like. Most of it was fairly good but the confusion dishes were not that enjoyable.

Went there during Saturday lunchtime. The Korean friend chicken was nice but a tad salty, the nasi goreng was a bit bland, had the runny egg though. The dragon roll uramaki rice tasted like it wasn't sushi rice. Not much filling inside the sushi too. Pork belly was really dry, quite tough to bite into, making it really chewy. The Vietnamese ice coffee tasted it was instant. Very nice decor and styling inside the building. Great service from Jerena Jose.

We had another brilliant meal here. Well served by Jack who was attentive and entertaining in equal measure (thank you, Jack!). The food was, as always, amazing and thank you to all the staff who sang happy birthday to one of our party.

Went there 3.30pm on a Monday afternoon. We were the only people in there. After being shown our seat, we had to wait about 10mins for someone to take our order (food and drink). Quite annoyed we didn't get served any water. We had the bao buns, they were amazing. The meat was cooked well and the buns soft and squishy. I had the prawn skewers, not amazing. Do not recommend. He had the pork belly and has been throwing up for the last hour. As we were mid eating and chatting, two different waiters came over to check if our food was ok. Onc would have been enough after we had eaten. The decor was very relaxing and beautiful, however I feel as though the food and service did not do the restaurant justice.

Sunday evening table for 8 of us. Very quiet so service should have been a bit more attentive. The food was delicious and the staff had very kindly put up a banner and some balloons for our birthday celebrations, as well as a card offering a free dessert for the birthday girl. Overall very good and will be returning.

Today, I stumbled upon this charming café. It represents the spirit of an honest, old-school British Cafe, serving exceptional food, deserts and coffee at fair prices, and great ground coffee at that. The locals seemed friendly, and the staff were attentive and made you feel at home. I wholeheartedly recommend seeking out CafecDu Gallery; it is truly worth your time. With its unpretentious atmosphere, it offers a relaxed and easy-going vibe that makes it a great choice.

Home cooked feel and great service! My partner had some dietary requirements and they worked with us and even verified his requirements before they cooked his meal. The portions are generous and made to order. Loved being greeted as we walked in the door by the owners. Relaxed atmosphere. I will stop by again for another wonderful meal soon!

Absolutely brilliant breakfast, top quality produce including best sausages and quality bacon farm fresh eggs and lots of extras including black pudding hash browns baked beans tomatoes and mushrooms beautifully cooked with thick toasted bread and anchor butter. It's most definitely the best town centre cafe well worth a visit Great service great cuppa and a great price

Love coming here for breakfast. The cafes around the corner are just run of the mill. And very expensive. I've never understood this as the sausages are rank, cheap and nasty. But at Cafe du gallery the food is amazing. 2 good breakfasts and 2 drinks well under £20. Great valve. At least £10 cheaper for a much better meal.

My son and I had the mini breakfast, and yeah, it's not worth the money. To start, the toast came out 2 minutes before the actual food, so it was stone cold before the food came out, and we only got 1 napkin. I know there's a cost of living crisis, but really? We shouldn't have to hint down another napkin. The waitress doesn't listen very well and got our order wrong when writing it down. The menu says a portion of bacon rashers, which is usually 2 rashers, but we only got 1 measley slice. The sausage was that small. We needed a microscope to see it. We asked for a hard egg but it came runny. The waitress asked if we wanted any sauce and I said yes, tomato please and waited nearly 5 minutes for it to come and realised she wasn't even coming back so by the time we started eating the toast was like a rock and the food was cold. I have an appetite smaller than a childs, and even I went away still hungry. Should have gone to the burger van a few yards down the street. Save your money and eat elsewhere. And as we were leaving, we heard a couple stating that they wouldn't go here again either, so be warned.

Visit this wonderful little cafe every time we come to Wyton Lakes caravan park, around four times a year. Brilliant English breakfast, good service and friendly staff. We had a new addition this year in the form of a Yorkshire Terrier, and they allowed us to still eat inside. Lovely people, lovely place. 😎

I stopped by The Local Café for a quick and affordable bite. I ordered chips and gravy, which were tasty, hearty, and definitely a good option for anyone on a tight budget. It hit the spot for what you’d expect from a no-frills café. Feeling a bit healthier, I decided to order a fruit salad. This turned out to be a letdown—it was canned fruit, not fresh, which felt disappointing, especially given the slightly higher price. I understand fruit can be expensive, but I expected more for the cost. I’d definitely recommend skipping the fruit salad. When it came time to pay at the till, things got a bit confusing. I wasn’t quite sure how much I was being charged for extras like the extra gravy or upgrading chips to a main. The bill was higher than expected, and there was no breakdown of the costs, which made it tricky to understand what I was paying for. Overall, The Greasy Spoon Café delivers on simple, budget-friendly comfort food like chips and gravy, but transparency on pricing and better quality for pricier items like the fruit salad would improve the experience. If you stick to their classics, it’s worth it—but maybe bring some questions to the till!

We only came in because the two cafés we usually go to were shut, and probably won't be back. The staff were helpful and friendly A good greasy spoon, heavy on the carbs - for instance, with my shepherd's pie I had a choice of more mash or chips. The vegetables (peas and carrots anyway) were tinned and the cabbage was dead so I ate the salad that came with the lasagna and chips. I didn't try the lasagna that himself had ordered - neither dish looked appetising. Hot chocolate - average. Lesson learned - don't eat in Chequers Court on a Monday!

Not wheelchair accessible. Had to leave mine outside as tables were too close together to get a wheelchair around the tables, or I would have been knocking into everything. Struggled with just a pushchair. The need to replace the highchairs as none of them have straps on and a toddler can easily get out so couldn't really relax and enjoy the food properly as we were constantly getting her to sit back down. The waiter didn't listen very well. Asked for a vanilla and a chocolate milkshake but got two chocolate ones. They tasted just like every milkshake in a cafe. Nothing special, which was disappointing. The breakfast, however, was delicious. It's nice to have the bacon and eggs cooked properly and the beans not stewed. I'm pretty sure the hash browns are actually homemade. The sausage was a good size and nicely seasoned. If they are not, they are really good remade ones. Avit on the pricey side, but you pay for the quality of the products, and it's ALOT better than somewhere like wetherspoons. Will definitely go here again for breakfast.

Cash only! Fastest service I have ever had and the food is pretty god as well. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Toilets are clean. Food is reasonably priced and are large portions, you will not leave hungry! Good place for a quick bite to eat.

Nice clean toilets at this Cafe, Coffee is great it really is a nice cup of coffee. I know food prices have gone though the roof but I didn't really feel it was vaule for money on the baguette. We had roast beef baguette and it was just that so you can't really complain. It wasn't sliced beef more like left over bits / ends that had been reheated and rather dry in a white baguette with butter. I mean it wasn't offensive I just wouldn't have it again. The chips where nice and a good sized portion. Staff really nice and friendly and the cafe was clean, I'd return for coffee most definitely.

Service and cleansliness! Perfect. Food overpriced and of average quality. I paid over £17 for my sheperds pie meal, extra veg and two Drinks. Sherds pie had very little potatoes on it and was orange. The carrots perfect and not frozen. Cabbage was dripping with water. Roast potatoes i think aunt Bessie's as they dry and not crispy. I arrived when it was busy and the noise was quite unbearable.. I am a little shocked by the prices compared to the quality. If it was a cafe and i was charged £12 it be expensivw bu doable. But at £17 i expect much better food and drinks. My fizzy drink arrived in it bottle with a plastic tumbler. Even wetherspoons@manage ice and lemon in a glass. I wont visit again as food was slopply over cooked and overpriced. Did mot enjoy the food or experience. 3 stars for staff and cleansliness. No star for calling yourself a restaraunt. Things could change for lirtle or no money fort the better

Popped in for a bite to eat to take away. Everything looked really tasty and inviting in the hot cabinets, so I decided on a sausage roll and a steak slice. The steak slice was hot and tasty, the sausage roll was cold and bland. Usual "quality" fayre from Greggs. I thought that maybe, just maybe the food would be different from the other Greggs shops in other towns I have visited, that maybe the sausage roll would be hot but oh no, it seems that a cold, bland sausage roll is the "norm" for Gregg's no matter where they are located. At least the staff looked interested in their job, unlike the staff at the Newmarket high street shop who look about as interested as a bucket of cold custard. There are other eating establishments in Huntingdon that offer takeaway food that I will be visiting. Sadly Gregg's will not be getting my hard-earned cash again. It's about time they upped their game and served a decent hot sausage roll, after all, they charge enough for them. So today's experience of Greggs in Huntingdon, not impressed with the bland, cold food at high prices. Boring, boring, boring.

Once again, as I’ve said before, this place is SLOW. I know it’s a Gregg’s and take it for what it is, but how are we supposed to fall in fast food when it takes minimum 10 minutes for them to do anything. They simply operate at a low speed. No sense of pace. Pros: they get my food correct when I mobile order but that takes forever to get and they always have their food and stuff stocked.

It’s the only place in town to get a quick breakfast which I like, the food is good quality. However, the service is slow as it can’t keep up with the demand and staff can be hit or miss. The woman I had serve me today didn’t say a single word to me or ask if I wanted to scan the app. It’s so off-putting to have someone serve you and not say a single word!

Love Gregg’s, good food for good prices, and the folks their are nice, but damn, the service at this particular location is slow. If you go through the line it easily takes 10-15 minutes. I ordered online thinking it would be easier to get my food quicker only to get there, show them my code for my food and wait an additional 5-6 minutes. I put my order in 40 minutes before I was supposed to get it!… it wasn’t a big order either, 2 easy food items…The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a chain. Okay but definitely fast food oriented.

So lucky to have a well stocked nicely run outlet of this famous high street branded food location with lots of seating inside and good service there's nowhere better in town to relax after a hard day's shopping.

Slow service, cold food that should have been warm. Tables were disgusting, dirty with food all over them and all over the floor. It’s is the worse I have ever seen. Very unhygienic. The toilets were the same, disgusting. I would suspect that this place is a health risk.

Ordered from Pizza Town a few times now through Food Hub and haven’t been disappointed once, although we live about 20 minutes from the restraunt the food always arrives hot and the delivery drivers are always friendly. We decided to try one of their new munch boxes today (burger box for two) and couldn’t believe the amount of food there was in the box! It was all really nice, tasted fresh. We will definitely order again, thank you.

I ordered online through the website , it said 25min for collection, then accepted by restaurant and then status was cooking. I went after 30min and it still said cooking (now found out it doesn't actually change to ready or let you know when it's ready but stays on this status until collected) It was ready so asked out of interest how long ago it was ready and was told about 20mins as they pretty much made it when the order came through- ordinarily great- very quick right 😆 however not when it said it was going to be 25min meaning it wasn't overly hot as been sitting there for 20min. It was fine and the staff were fine in explaining and food tasted OK just not that hot because of the above issue. I suggest as the time seems to have no correct indication to turn it off or adjust the timeframe given based upon how busy they are. I appreciate most people would probably head over after ordering or be happy to arrive and it be ready but I didn't go earlier as it said would be 25min and I had stuff to do so therefore took my time accordingly . Anyway apart from that issue the food was OK and donner meat and chips for £8 is fairly decent. Will try again another time

Ordered late at night, the food was delivered on time (as promised) and it was hot! The pizza tasted amazing, if not a little dough heavy and the toppings were full of flavour. Now here dear reader is where the story takes a grim turn, no less than 90 minutes had passed when an almighty thunderstorm struck. Not outside, but in the depths of my bowels! I hate to imagine the collateral damage that pizza caused on its way through my digestive system (something akin to a gigantic greasy wrecking ball, crushing everything in its path before mutating into some kind of disgusting tsunami). In short, would I recommend this place? YES, If you enjoy colonic irrigation without the need to insert pipes anywhere unsavoury, this is the place for you.

Over priced and under cooked. You would think at almost £15 a pizza it would at least be cooked.

Absolutely awful, Ordered through the app, they gave me the whole entire wrong ordered, tried calling didn't get a pick up, tried getting a refund and was denied. Do not order from here, try Brampton hut, but have had similar issues there.

It's mostly just like every other mcdonald's you go to. We used the kiosk. That's why I put 3 stars for service. The food was not too bad. The fries were hot. The hamburger was so so. The atmosphere was a little upbeat and happy and moving. So I gave it four stars on atmosphere.

Huntingdon Mcdonalds chocolate milkshakes taste awful unless you like a chocloate millshake that is a fizzy banana flavour? Informed the manager who said there is nothing they can do about it. Apparently that's how the machine operates and they would continue to use it. I tried another, fizzyness gone but tasted like banana and chocolate with a twist of chemical. Truly awful, again. Got a refund. Won't be back.

I went to collect my order, but the female staff member was preoccupied with her phone and didn’t acknowledge me or ask why I was there. She then left her Baya clogs on the front food counter—where food is handed out—and walked off for her break

Ordered click and collect at 9:30pm, we waited til 9:55pm and still no order! So I went into the restaurant. Waited 5 mins til someone came and spoke to after they was having a chat amongst themselves! Explained to a member of staff about our issue he then just walked off. Another member of staff then come over and asked me what was the issue l, afterwards the member of staff (didnt get his name) said “maybe you should have just gone threw drivethrew then shouldn’t you”quite rudely!! Not being funny what’s the point in having click and collect service?? Won’t be returning as the attitude and service was disgraceful!

Awful. Ordered ahead of arriving through the app, multiple items wrong or missing. Whoever’s food we did receive was cold, staff not interested in resolving, was waiting for 30mins. Receipt missing from bag so unable to pursue a refund via the so called virtual assistant.

THE WORST maccies I’ve ever been too have dined in and waited half an hour for 2 meals and waited just under an hour for going through the drive through. So unorganised and chaotic no rush or apology for the wait I complained and they do not care. Just no rush no apology I would avoid this McDonald’s at all costs unless you want to be sat in here till the next day or till everyone’s gone home…. Never returning.

First and last time that i ordered from this place. 3 Large chicken kebabs, big pieces of chicken (never saw that in a kebab) tomato and cabbage and chicken everything mixed (the Salad was cooked with the chicken). No quality, no flavour absolutely disappointed, never again.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The dish I ordered was beautifully prepared, with rich, authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. Every bite was a delight, and you can tell the ingredients were fresh and handled with care. The presentation was just as impressive as the taste, making it a truly enjoyable meal. Friendly service. I am a regular customer and I ordered food tonight, normally the portions are very generous but tonight I ordered a kebab with chips , there was hardly any Donner meat, I also ordered Donner meat and chips and again the portion size of meat wasn't even enough to feed my 10 year old grandson. I do not normally complain, but I called the shop and got an answer machine, no one bothered to call me back . I doubt I will use chilli bite again.

Always getting great food from chilli bite over the years but today I tried a chilli bite special pizza and it was absolutely lovely but I do recommend the kebab man bread with salad it’s amazing….

Missing item of our order. When I phoned to ask, the man on phone was extremely rude. Food was cold. Donner meat had no flavour and naan bread fell apart. Definitely do not recommend.

My friends and I had a full English breakfast and coffee each. The price was good and the actual taste of the food was very nice. They have their own pastry which is what they excel at. The service is where they shine the most. The server that we had was very funny and had such a positive energy that was contagious. Definitely will be visiting here again when we are in the area.

Found this little gem on a visit to huntingdon. The place is very welcoming clean and a pleasure to visit .. I ordered a chicken bacon ,mozzarella and spinach pannii with chips wife had the same but in a wrap and salad no chips banana milk shakes, wife had tea for one . Large pot . Yes large not a fiddly little thing with just about a cup in it a large pot with about 5 cups in it brilliant. I had a latte to finish nothing any trouble brilliant staff always fitting people in while we was there , never rushed .. Brilliant guys keep up the good work. Don't walk past this place go in you will not regret it 💯. Still full hrs later .. hope to visit again ..

Me and my friend had a jacket each, they were massive and great value, we tried to be good but were tempted by the delicious cakes.

I’ve eaten from Platters many times over the years and have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately today the food wasn’t the usual standard. The chicken seemed different, almost watery and didn’t have a nice texture. We threw away most of our food today.

Literally the best lunch I've had away with work (I work away most weeks of the year). The vegan inferno baguette (hummus, chilli pickle, onions, peppers and fresh chilli) was incredible. So glad to find somewhere selling veggie/vegan sandwiches that aren't full of fake meat. Will definitely return next time I'm here, great value, amazing food

A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the ladies are very kind and helpful. I order my jacket potatoes often and must say they are delicious and filling indeed! Never been let down.

A huge selection of fillings. Sandwiches made to order while you wait. They are very generous with the quantity of filling, and there is a an amazing range. I have something different every time I visit. Price point is around £3.10 for a sandwich and £4.50 for a baguette.

For some reason, despite being a High Street icon for as long as I have lived in Huntingdon, I had not visited Platters up until this year, and I now lament the many fine baguettes and treats that I might have eaten had I ventured in sooner. Without question one of the best sandwich shops locally, offering a huge selection of options and fillings to suit any taste, from simple to complex, and the staff are welcoming, friendly and engaging whilst mantaining prompt service. The baguettes are the perfect combination of soft+crusty, and they have adapted fillings to suit my tastes on request, there are also plenty of sweet options that offer great taste and value. If you're used to sub(way)-par offerings for lunch, go down to Platters instead and have a proper sandwich ;)

Unfortunately this is my local subway! This particular branch-franchise is run terribly. Portions are rationed, orders are rushed therefore missing key ingredients! The workers speak in their language whilst serving the customer. Very distasteful!

This is the worst subway I've ever been to. It was horrendous. The services themselves are full of potholes and difficult to navigate. We asked for my wife to have a plain chicken sandwich due to allergies...the guy then manhandled all my ingredients and then picked up the chicken for hers with the same gloves. We just told them to leave it and left as the staff didn't seem to care.

We placed an order for work today. It turned by 30 minutes before the time they advised online. BONUS!! After giving out the lunches one of the orders was incorrect, sandwich was all squished and opening the sandwich there was a hair within the sandwich. On calling the subway and after explaining twice to the lady on the phone what the issue was, she dismissed the fact there was a hair in the sandwich and kept advising she would send out a new sandwich! A new sandwich wasn't going to cut it. She also still ignored the fact of the hair!!! will not be ordering from subway again!! (also before anyone jumps on this as it could have been my own hair - the hair was black and i have red hair!)

There's something fishy going on at Huntingdon subways lately. New staff I assume Were being ripped of. 6in subs are reassuring 4.2in. And it's not because the 12in rolls are smaller No. We're just being given a very small portion. I'm guessing so the remaining 7.8inches can be utilised by the staff for there own larger portions. I'm not the first one who has noticed this recent issue. It's a bloody liberty If the staff cant be trusted to provide full portions. Then. Something needs to be done . As I don't appreciate paying full price for a third of a 12im sub instead of half.

Me and my partner bith came in and got what we normally get from subway and the staff didnt ask if we had any allergies or talk to us part from saying what do you want in the sandwhich and after we both got our food and stsrted eating my partners sandwhich had come into contact with nuts or seeds somehow and ended up having to go hospital due to how bad the reaction was

Call the restaurant- doesn't work, only to answer phone! absolutely disgraceful service!! Looks like I’m having to rush around to find something else for lunch!!

Wonderful little nook in the wall. Food was fantastic well priced / with a side of creative puns. Also they do coffee and cakes too on which they were very knowledgeable on. The service was bright, funny, sarcastic and really humorous. It's placed inside of the antique shop so it is filled with interesting items and great decor.

Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I had the Thai Me Up and it was so good I couldn't keep it to myself. If I didn't live in Bristol I'd be here often. Delicious!

Visited this place today off the strength of the excellent name and it was so much better than we could have imagined. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, even helping us to book a taxi to go onwards. We had fantastic coffee (clearly coffee nerds here, the best kind) and the menu looked amazing but we weren't able to stay to eat. They had high hairs for little ones and I'm definitely bringing the kids back! As a bonus the shop around it is beyond brilliant also and worth losing yourself in. Proper Aladdin's cave territory. One of the most gem-like hidden gems I've ever had the great fortune to stumble across.

Toasterly Awesome is a fantastic place. The food is wonderful (there are vegan options) as is the coffee. Priya, the proprietor, is amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about her food. Toasterly Awesome has become my favourite place for lunch or a coffee in Huntingdon.

We stayed here overnight. Was too lazy to go out for dinner. Came down to grab a bite. The foods are fine. We ordered the fish and chips, the rump of lamb and a pastrami sandwich. The fish is super fresh. And the lamb very very tasty. We are overall happy with the food offerings. Our servers were nice and friendly and accommodating. Not a bad choice if you want some simple yet tasty dinner.

If you've not had their spicy potato wedges, then you're missing out. Their chicken is great, but one night I was picking up some food for the road, and they let me try some and I've been ordering them since. A warning, they are spicy, but so good. They are friendly and open, and in my opinion best chicken place in Huntingdon, so give them a try.

Ordered Mini fillet burger and a normal chicken fillet burger The chicken fillet burger was not too bad, could be better but it was still alright. Could be better for the price, but what can you expect in this economy (~£7) The mini fillet burger however was just small chicken strips put into the burger I thought it was a bit odd. ( meal ~ £4.50) HM - the garlic sauce tasted like mint sauce.

This evening we had kebabs all around... One kebab meat and chips with chilli sauce on the side, 2 doner kebabs and a large doner wrap ... We waited ages for it to arrive. It arrived cold, rock solid, over as well as undercooked meat! chilli water, not sauce! All of our meals were absolutley foul. £39.50 for 4 meals that have been thrown in the bin and they've closed before we can complain. I get that we were probably one of the last orders and they were winding down for the evening before closing. But the same standard of food should be sent out!. Very disappointed.

What an absolute diamond 💎 of a kebab house. Five Stars! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an incredible meal at Southern Fried Chicken! I ordered the southern fried chicken, a mix of chicken shish and donner meat, and their southern fried wedges — and everything was absolutely spot-on. The chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, the donner meat was perfectly seasoned, and the wedges were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was quick and friendly too, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a new favorite — can’t wait to come back for more.

The food is great, good size portions and value for money. The staff are really nice and work hard to ensure you feel a valued customer. In the past when I have collected my food, the staff have provided food for the less well off for the money they present so they are fed and are also treated as just a valued customer as everyone else. The staff's generosity deserves some recognition for helping others.

I came in today for dinner I had chosen 1/2 cheese burger and wedges with drink. Amazing food very friendly and professional service. Welcoming atmosphere. And to top it all off ver fair prices. Highly recommend coming in and trying it for yourself.

Stayed here last weekend with me husband for a little change of scenery. Nothing but 5 star treat meant. I was hesitant to stay in an inn but I was impressed. The staff were lovely the food was good old British pub grub and well the rooms are exactly what you pay for. No complaints from me.

Had a fantastic experience here. The food was excellent across the board—tasted great, and served in generous portions. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lovely buzz that made it feel both lively and relaxed. I really appreciated that the pub is dog-friendly. I also stayed overnight in one of the rooms, which was beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was especially comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. Highly recommended for both dining and an overnight stay.

I found this superb pub on Search for Sites for a stopover from Yorkshire to London. Mine was the only motor home in an empty carpark as an event due tomorrow. The staff were very welcoming and attentive creating a relaxed atmosphere especially the girl on the bar and the young lad serving meals. My meal was very good, only one slight criticism that seasonal veg was just frozen peas! Would certainly return. Thank you for being so lovely

Staff were very pleasant. Room was airy and comfortable and parking excellent. Sadly the food was poor. Majority of dishes only half eaten in our group. The 65+ menu fish and chips was unusual - very acceptable chips but with heavily breaded fish fingers, not fish.

Travelled in our mitorhome and asked if possible to stay overnight. Very friendly staff, the Gardener Ben even moved tables & chairs so we could park easier. Unfortunately we arrived just after 4pm and the kitchen didn't reopen on a Sunday, but we enjoyed a few drinks and played a giant connect 4 which was hilarious so thankyou.... Di, Paul and Brandy x

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The a la carte all you can eat buffet for £23 (weekdays) was amazing value for money. The staff were very polite and attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

Visited tonight - and had the a la carte buffet. This was a good choice- with the portions being a good size, with plenty of choice available. Something on the menu for every palate. We got to try dishes that we wouldn't normally have - and I'd really recommend mamas goat curry - very tasty! A busy evening, but the waiters were never far away if we wanted a drink - or more food bringing over. The chocolates at the end were lovely too! An all round good dining experience. For parking - you have to enter a side street off the ring road (you can't enter via Ermine street) We will definitely return

Excellent all you can eat Indian for £20 a head (£22 on Friday and Saturday, I think). Service is a la carte rather than buffet style but that means the food is fresher and more delicious. There is a £5 discretionary charge if the restaurant believes you have left, and therefore wasted, too much food. But don't worry, the food is so tasty you'll scrape every plate clean. It is owned by the people who used to run the Bongo Raj back in the day. If you liked it there, you will love it here.

Had butter naan with a chicken curry. It was okay.Nothing exceptional but does the job. However the prices are on the higher end and I would have expected a bit more for that kind of a price. I believe this is the third Indian restaurant in Huntingdon and definitely the competition is on.

A few friends and I came here and thought it was a decent place. They did some things really well and some things not so well (hence their 3 star score). As for the appetizers, the good was the onion bhai and chicken tikka pieces. The okay was seekh kebabs which could have used some more flavoring. The bad was the lamb samosa. Literally had NO flavor to it. The main course consisted of chicken vindaloo, chicken jalfrezi, lamb korma and chicken tikka masala. I thought the chicken jalfrezi was amazing. We liked it so much we ordered it twice. The korma and the chicken tikka masala was too sweet and not edible. We ended up eating the meat from their but the sauce was not good. The chicken vindaloo was okay, flavorful but nothing special. The best part of all the food was the naan. It was definitely one of the best naans I've ever had. If we are in the area, it's one of those places I'll come back to, to eat the few things we enjoyed.

When entering the restaurant it was very clean and pretty inside with lovely colourful lights. The food was absolutely amazing, me and my friend had absolutely no complaints and we loved it, I 100/10 recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was so full of flavour and tasty, the meat was fresh and moist, potatoes were lovely and soft, it was the perfect amount of spice, the naan was yummy, everyone should go here if they want an amazing Indian dinner!

Not the best chicken shop I’ve been too but it’s not too bad,had the chicken tikka wrap with chips and drink inc delivery came to £16,plenty of chips and seasoned with salt but for the price I paid I thought the wrap wasnt very big but was nice I think it was only the size of the wrap that let it down really for the price I paid…

Recently, I had a chicken tikka burger and spicy hot chicken wings from this place. The chicken looked fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. If I compare the chicken wings from KFC with those from Chicken Spot, I have to say that Chicken Spot is the best. The staff is very kind, and the customer service is excellent. The chicken tikka burger was the best I've had in recent days, and it was made very fresh.

It’s nice I found chicken spot when it was 2020 but I moved at 2021 12 16 but I would buy chicken nuggets 4 pieces and fries with a Pepsi or coke but sometimes I would take a burger with no tomato and no lettuce.

The hygiene was shocking. There is mess everywhere. The cookers are covered in grease and meat being left out in ambient temperature, and the griddle made the burger taste of old fat and grease it was disgusting it tasted of rancid grease and meat had to bin it. The girl cooking was in her coat and boots. The rest of the staff were dirty, and there was no washing of hands in sight. Never again. Gods knows what's in the big fridge, is it fresh...? It all could have been so much better if it was clean and served with a bit more care.

Ordered for the first time having received a menu through our door recently. I usually go to Dominos however thought we would give this a try , it was half the price and the pizzas were super tasty. My boy even ate the crust ( usually doesn't) as they were soft and tasty. Will definitely order again. Thanks

I ordered a large kebab and two cans of coke. Received the wrong drink so I sent these back and the kebab was undercooked. I was really unwell for two days with food poisoning symptoms. I contacted the restaurant for a refund and after two months of back and forth they've offered me a free pizza, not a refund or a replacement meal. Apparently the store is now under new ownership. However it's still a franchise of papa luigi and their head office should do more to keep their customers happy AND SAFE. Considering I've been a loyal customer for nearly four years this is disgusting. I will not be ordering from here ever again. Shocking customer service. I recommend people avoid this takeaway! I have also contacted local food and hygiene to investigate their premises.

Ordered the 9’ Pepperoni Supreme Pizza and it was delightful. It came in a timely manner and was still hot on arrival. I was apprehensive to order after reading the reviews, but I was not disappointed with my order in the slightest. I will definitely order through them again! I noticed that some of the negative reviews were during some of the most challenging times of the pandemic. Please give local businesses and restaurant/retail workers some grace through these times.

The shell app was not working properly he help me and guide me very well He deals other customers as well and he also give me extra time . He was very nice and smiling face . Loved the mac and cheese bites but the burger was a bit basic for the price.

The food was very good but due to it being a very busy night it took well over an hour to get our starters. It then took a further hour to receive our mains so we arrived at 19.00 and didn't leave until 23.00. I had a crab parcel starter which was very good followed by sausage and mash for mains the only real let down was my cabbage was very undercooked and had only been microwaved I think. I would like to go again and hopefully there will be better times between courses. The staff were really excellent. The pub was very busy with a beer festival and a band as well.

Our first dining experience in London is the beloved Cock Hemingsford in Hemingsford Grey, England. Everything was wonderful, and I can't wait to visit their adorable pub next door.

We had Sunday roast there. I would say this is really high standards roast I had. The meat is so tender and the homemade sauce is amazing.

We've been here a couple of times. Most recently we visited for our 3rd wedding anniversary and booked a pod in the garden. It was brilliant, kept warm, had a Bluetooth speaker for music. Despite us being the only ones in the garden, the staff were still attentive and would check in on a good cadence. Food and wine selection was great on all 3 courses and what we ate was excellent. We had a really nice evening and will be back again.

Lovely celebration lunch for 9 of us. Good range on the menu that offered something for everyone - including tasty vegetarian cauliflower option. Service was excellent, prompt but unobtrusive, staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money offering a special experience. We all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks very much.

We had our wedding at The Old Bridge Hotel and the team were absolutely brilliant. The organisation and communication were excellent throughout, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. On the day, the atmosphere was warm and everything ran seamlessly. The food was a real highlight, both the wedding breakfast and evening BBQ were delicious. From initially booking the event in July 2024 to the wedding day in August 2025, the service has been outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Old Bridge Hotel to anyone planning a special occasion.

I've been here 3 times. The first time was fabulous and the hotel was still under family ownership. This last time was pretty poor. Setting is lovely, fish preparation is sloppy, no fins removed. Starter we had was Kohlrabi which I chose as I hadn't had it before. Served with heritage tomatoes apparently. About a third were heritage and the rest were basic supermarket tomatoes. Difficult to judge as they were freezing cold but generally pretty tasteless. Cocky waiter and all in all not an experience I would repeat. Such a shame as I took a friend here. The tempura beans were the best thing we ate. I would have been happy with a plateful of those. Generally, I found the menu uninteresting, found it difficult to find something I wanted to eat. I love food.

Very pleased. We stayed for two nights and attended our daughter's/son-in-law wedding. The staff were fantastic and dealt with any minor problems immediately and without fuss. Food, accommodation and staff couldn't be faulted. Thank you one and all.

Still lovely staff and location, but the food quality has definitely dropped in quality since the change in ownership. The £10+ sandwiches that we ordered last night were made with processed supermarket sliced bread instead of the lovely fresh bread we had been used to previously. We don’t mind paying for quality, but it’s annoying when what we are served is the equivalent of what we might have found in a “meal deal”.

Decadent hotel and garden restaurant. Beautifully restored and maintained historic building with a restaurant that overlooks a garden and classically styled, quality hotel rooms. A lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into this venue including the very kind, attentive service of its staff. This is a full-fat kind of experience in quite literal terms - there is no skimmed milk and by default all milk is whole and food buttered. Sumptuous indeed.

Yesterday we had a lovely dinner at The Crown Inn and enjoyed atmosphere, food and most of all very pleasant staff! It is perfect! First we visited the Church opposite the Inn. We had great support of a staff member to let us watch the beautiful church. Enjoyed the Nice moment for my wife! Can really recommend the Crown Inn!

We’ve been trying to find time to come here for a while and finally (after my many times failing to remember to book) we got here! A lovely village pub in a lovely village with lovely food and service. We are not rushed, drinks ordered and menu read we went for roast beef and the trimmings. Oh my, what a joy! It’s not often you feel you get value for money nowadays with all these I cost increases but The Crown delivers. I did order pigs in blankets expecting the usual chipolata but these were proper big sausage! Dessert was also extremely tasty and unexpected. We weren’t rushed into dessert so our main had time to settle. I ordered a cheesecake which when it came look amazing and tasted as good as it looked! My wife had an amazing sticky toffee pudding which was light and perfect. The owner is extremely nice and nothing is too much, the service goes above many places I have visited. You would do well to visit.

No hesitation 5 stars. Mine host, Mark, provided excellent service with a smile. Staff were friendly whilst efficient. Good choice of food, great starters. mains and puddings. Between us we enjoyed duck confit, spicy sausages and soup starters. Hard to decide main courses, we ended up with delicious pork, lamb x2 and beef pie. Hope to return when next visiting family in the area, just to confirm standards are maintained, oh, and to have a good time with great food.

We had a lunch here for my Dad's birthday. The location is beautiful and the food was incredibly good. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we couldn't have felt more welcome. It made a great birthday treat.

Perfect for a Sunday Roast! Only reason for the 4* on food was due to the fish pie not being the best. The Lamb Shank special was faultless. The manager, waiter and bar men who looked after us were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back soon. Very well run pub!

Fantastic whisky collection. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Its a real treasure. Went once with a friend for live music then again with my husband for whisky and we're back with the inlaws for food. Beautiful venue highly recommend.

Lovely place, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere bit within 5 minutes of driving you reach a Tesco (I'm from Yorkshire, I'm easy to please, what can I say). The staff are all really friendly and happy to help, the rooms are beautiful as is the bar and restaurant. My only gripe is the breakfast, which was a muffin, croissant and cereal, in my room.

Went there this afternoon for first time. What an absolutely beautiful Sunday roast. 10/10 not just for food but restaurant atmosphere and staff couldn’t fault any of it. Bar staff was absolutely brilliant. Even for my sister Inlaw has a rare disease and they manage to go above and beyond to help her with food options and to actually change things specially for her. There is an automatic 10% gratuity added to your bill for food service. Something to be aware of for those budgeting their evening out. We went for a weekday dinner and got the cured meat and olive starter, swordfish entree and bangers and mash entree with drinks. We'd heard great things about the food at The Elm, but were a little let down by our meal. The starter seemed overpriced for a few pieces of sweaty sandwich meat and a tiny ramekin of olives, but it was tasty. The swordfish was nice but the (bacon?) on top was hard as a rock and very overcooked, and the sauteed vegetables had no color and seemed like they were steamed instead, though they were perfectly cooked. The bangers and mash were let down by an incredibly salty gravy that tasted suspiciously like Bisto. I usually add salt to meals so if it's too salty for me it is way salty. The bangers themselves were just ok too, they had very thick casings that were hard to cut without the sausage trying to make an escape from the plate & kind of rubbery to chew. Ultimately if the meal was priced a little lower I would just chalk it up to standard pub fare, but I expected a little better from here. The service itself was just ok, especially considering the extra gratuity added. We had to flag down staff members to get service in the outdoor patio, I'm not sure if maybe we were meant to go to the bar each time to order food or not. The only one who didn't seem put out to be there was Zoe who was friendly and hospitable. We plan on going back for lunch sometime as the sandwiches offered look nice, but I don't know that we'll be back for dinner with the current menu. I'd like to give it another chance in case it was a one-off bad day.

In the current climate of the current Government trying to tax the the hospitality sector into the ground, this place was a delight to find. To see it full for lunch (every table occupied), is very encouraging. My sister-in-law had booked it as a "dog-friendly" pub//restaurant to meet up with the us and the girl's best friend form deepest, darkest Corringham ! The selection of the food on the menu was great. I had the "chef's choice pie", steak and Guinness. As a pie lover, it was right up my street, with proper chips. One of our party had the seafood linguine; it looked lovely. I want to go back just for this ! The banana split was almost to the standard of the one I recently had in Rome, but needed ice-cream with it. Service was good, considering how busy it was. Prices were very fair. Full marks to the chef and his helpers/staff. They do need to get themselves an electric "fly zapper for the bar area " as the flies were really annoying when you try and eat. Only slight down-side, you have to park on the road. as there is no car park.

We sat in the garden, which was nice. Had drink and decided to try their food and we are glad that we did. I had seafood linguine and Emma had a sharing platter, both were very tasty. I would definitely recommend them, but if you want to eat inside I would book in advance as it can get busy.

A very good atmosphere, wonderful staff. Food was delicious and well presented all the usual dishes on the main menu. But the specials of the day board had a great selection of things you might not expect in a pup restaurant. Will be back when in the location again

We meet up with friends at the Mermaid regularly and it never fails to impress!! Delicious food, beautifully served. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Best pub restaurant around by miles. Always look forward to going.

We could not recommend this place more, for the amazing service, welcome and excellent food. The portion sizes for Sunday lunch were plentiful and great value for money. This was the best Sunday roast we have had in a restaurant. Will definitely return in the not too distant future. Booking advisable.

Fantastic birthday lunch spent at the Mermaid. The food was lovely and they kindly made us a summer punch for all the family to share. They really looked after us and made the whole afternoon a wonderful success. A huge thank you to Kay and all her lovely ladies 🥰

For a zoo I feel that each enclosure for the animals is fare. Enough space for the lions to room around and the habitat nice and natural as can be for them being in our climate. Goats had loads of space. Also to see all the crocodiles. Will go again as can spend a lot of time looking at these wild animals. Great value for money as it only £5 for adults.

Not often do i give a 5 star. But this place its so worth the £5 entry per person with free for the inder 4s. And £55 for unlimited for a year. A good few hours can be lost with the children at this amazing zoo Sunday carvery (in the steak house) was beautifully cook with the meats almost melting in the mouth. Roast potatoes and veggies for a reasonable priced at £22. And meals all week for thoses who wish to eat a full meal. Along side is the cafe area as well for snacks and sandwiches and coffees etc. With the on site farm shop selling anything from Meats, Dairy products, Biscuits. Cakes. Alcohol and mixers, Load of kids toys and Cuddly Animals. There a few coffee bars/refreshments around the site with seating to take break. At least 3 slides we saw. With swings and seesaw for the kids play area.

Very spacious and clean little zoo. Plenty of things to see and do. The animals are kept in very comfortable enclosures, and all seem very well looked after. Cheap entrance fee for adults and children. Food are available on site for reasonable prices. Farm shops are lovely and there are plenty of tables. Parking is free and plenty of space.

As a family we love visiting this place. Is a great day out. A growing selection of animals from lions, cross, meerkat, macaws. A park where the kids can enjoy some fun time. Also worth a walk through the woods to get some exercise and enjoy some quiet. There is also a well stocked farm shop and gift shop with a huge variety of products available. Amazing place.

So pleased we visited yesterday, great little place to explore, amazing affordable entrance fee ,the animals all looked happy,well looked after and content in their homes there! Some i never seen before ! It was very accessible for my elderly parents to walk around. Recommend to others.

Was very happily surprised when I went here for the day . Being as it was so cheap to enter , I kinda assumed it would be a 5 minute walk around ! Well I was very wrong ! This was amazing value for money compared to other mini zoos . Plenty of animals, in very decent enclosures. The tropical house was worth the entry fee alone. If your in 2 minds about going, just go and see yourself . The whole family loved it

Great little zoo, at a price you really cant argue with. The kids were kept entertained for 5 hours and all had to be dragged away at the end of the day. Don't come expecting a huge zoo like Whipsnade, but when you take the cost of entry into the equation this place is so much better. All things being equal, i'd put this at the best value for money zoo we've been too. The staff are friendly, there's enough animals to see and things to do to keep you entertained and the food was lovely. Only issue we had was the kids weren't happy that the cheesy chips was just grated cheese sprinkled on chips and not melted. However if this was their only issue for the day, I'm taking that as a win.

This Wheatshef is great! The beer selection is good, the staff are friendly and very attentive, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. The food was great with a real interesting menu, and the location was fantastic. Whether you're looking for a relaxed pint or a meal with friends, this pub ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend – we'll be back again.

We live fairly locally and after all these years we finally tried this pub/ restaurant. Really super friendly welcome on arrival which was lovely. Ate in the dining room section which is very rustic and has plenty of room in between diners’ tables. Noticed the pub had a great atmosphere too! Super meal - charcuterie boards to share and then had fish n chips and tonic’s opted for the sticky Korean chicken burger which was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the lovely lady who was waiting on us and the rest of the tables.The dessert menu looked delicious but we didn’t have room to eat puds this time.Spotted the pretty lit up pub garden at the back. It is on our list now for future visits!

I pass this pub every other week and we called in on the off-chance yesterday. What a gem of a pub to visit,friendly staff, excellent food, try the chicken jerk and rice, spicy and delicious. Booked a table for this Sunday and had two roasts and deserts...dog friendly with music played in the garden area. Would definitely recommend this to pubto friends and family...

I’ve been coming to this pub for a great many years in and off and always find it to be a lovely pub. The wine and beer choices are fantastic and the staff are always happy and friendly. This is a great pub to visit in the beautiful village of Houghton and Wyton.

Lovely pub, great beer garden. Plenty of space and seating accommodation and canope cover. Ordered some nice food from here. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. Would give a 5 star but unfortunately they forgot/ got confused with the order so had to wait 10-15 mins for one meal. They also said they didn't have 1 item from the menu before serving it to us, which was confusing. Overall lovely pub, nice food and good experience.

An attractive old pub with karge beer garden in a very pretty village, well worth the 20 minutes' or so walk from where I was staying. Good choice of drinks and good food, dogs welcome.

Second visit here last night since the new take over. Food is absolutely delicious, fresh and served in good time. A good varied menu with something for everyone. Serving of some dishes on the hot stones is fab. The restaurant is clean and well presented. The servers are lovely and friendly, although the lady behind the bar/running the till on both occasions wasn't very friendly. But overall a very enjoyable dining experience which we will visit often.

After all we had read the actual food was a let down. Been to Katmandu and Pokara in the past and worked with Nepalese around the world unfortunately this lunchtime it didn't impress. Staff were efficient and attentive.

The service and friendliness of the lovely staff is always 10/10 however the menu went through some problems in the past. So happy to say how amazing the Napalese menu is. What a great menu, so different we were stuck for choice. Good to see plenty fish, veggie and vegan. Pub quiz Thursday an absolute must!! Book ahead.

Amazing place, loved the food Starters are fantastic 😋 Will choose a little less chilli as I'm a light weight for the main but my boyfriend loved his. Portions are generous so you can take home what you haven't eaten to enjoy another day. Looking forward to going back 😀

Went for the first time since new kitchen for my 20th wedding anniversary and all I say is the food, atmosphere and especially the staff were outstanding. The food was Devine and so tasty 🤤 the atmosphere was lovely but the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming I will definitely be going back there very soon with my family and friends. Had such a great time at The Barley Mow! The staff were absolutely amazing and so welcoming — special shoutout to Helen who served us with such friendliness. Prices are really decent, great value for money. Huge TV made watching the football a brilliant experience. And to top it off, it’s dog friendly — which is always a big win for me! Definitely returning — highly recommend!

The Napalese menu was lovely and we're very good portion sizes. The flavour of the goat curry was lovely, rice and spicy but didn't feel greasy. Would definitely go back again.

A multi-award winning pub that we stopped for lunch and found by chance as we were passing through Huntingdon. From the start, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming from the owners Jane and Matt. They made us feel at home and explained the special menu. There's a lovely beer garden to the rear and a small car park at the front. There's free parking in front of the pub. I had the veggie burger which was very tasty and full of flavour along with a locally brewed ale. Sticky toffee pudding is highly recommended 🤤

First time eating here and would definitely recommend. The food was lovely, I had steak, our son had homemade pie veg and mash and hubby had the madras, couldn't fault any of it. Will definitely come again. Staff extremely friendly was served by a young man and lady both equally as friendly

Lovely little pub with a fantastic menu. I have visited twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed the food on both visits. Good portion sizes, well presented and very tasty. The only complaint I have is that they charge £9.99 for a child's dinner which I think is rather pricey for an 18 month old. The pictures I have posted show the Garlic prawns starter (so good I forgot to take the picture first!), the soup of the day, the sausage and mash, chicken with wedges and then the child's roast dinner. All of which were very nice indeed. All of this plus 2x coke cost £50. Perhaps a little expensive but I would definitely return.

I called for lunch at this proper vilage pub and enjoyed it so much that I happily walked back past a corporate one for my evening meal and drinks. Lovely building., great choice and quality drinks and food. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended to everyone

What a great place, amazing service, great food, and what a lovely selection of real ales. I almost did them all. Again fantastic food and a great selection of real ales. Actually ate in the restaurant at the side, had a very tasty starter and a huge salad with chicken and bacon. Still very good real ale.

✨ Sunday well spent! ✨ We enjoyed a truly lovely Sunday lunch at The Exhibition Pub in Godmanchester today. From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the delicious food, it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. If you’re looking for a cosy spot with great service and hearty dishes, I’d highly recommend giving it a try. Nothing beats good company, good food, and a relaxed Sunday vibe.

Very pleasantly surprised with this lovely pub. We had arrived at the marina caravan park in our motorhome after a long journey and were very hungry. Googled local pubs and walked the mile and got there within an hour before end of lunch service at 2.30. The pub was light and airy with a small beer garden to the front and staff were pleasant. Dogs are accepted in the bar and outside. We all enjoyed our meals very much but felt the portion sizes were a touch on the small size. If this could be rectified I’d give 5 stars for sure.

Great pub, excellent place to get together and have a few drinks with friends. The Exhibition has a great beer and liquor selection as well as soft drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating, bar seating and restaurant seating. The outdoor seating is a lovely place to sit when the weather is cooperating.

Very quiet meal tonight with great food. I had the blade of beef with was beautifully prepared and just flaked apart. My friend had mushroom risotto...very nice portion. And dessert included sticky toffee pudding and brownie. Service was friendly, however since there wasn't many customers in the restaurant, we were a bit disappointed as it was a long time before we were checked on and requestd a second glass of wine. The brownie was cold as if refrigerated and wasn't warmed prior to being served. This is a restaurant I enjoy going to and is one of my regular favourites.

We came for a Sunday roast; the food was ok with the meat really nice but some of the vegetables were very undercooked and the roast potatoes not great. We waited about 50 minutes after ordering to get our food which was a long time considering the pub wasn’t that busy. We didn’t order dessert since the mains had taken so long. Atmosphere wasn’t ideal as the main dining room has a very low ceiling so the room gets very loud and echoey. Staff were friendly enough but didn’t check up on us once they’d brought the food so we couldn’t tell them about the issue with the vegetables. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return here.

Very friendly staff. Food was lovely and the atmosphere was very good. Dogs are allowed but absolutely no children allowed on the premises or on the caravan park it sits in. The waiter was very organised and efficient. Enjoyed our meal very much. The caravan park is brilliant too! One of our favourites.

Our party of six were camping on site, we went for a drink at the bar & unexpectedly ended up have a fabulous meal without booking. So we booked for the following night & Sunday lunch too. The staff worked very hard under extreme heat conditions & can not recommend these guys enough. Top food, top venue & cheers to you for looking after us so well 😘

Lovely building made to look old stayed for a meal offer was 2 steak meals for £30 and free bottle of wine.The waitress came to take our order she asked if we wanted onion rings and sauce with the meal no mention of extra cost.....when it came the meal was average. After we finished we went to pay .....£36.00so asked why it was not £30 like it said on the offer to be told the sauce and onion rings were extra £ 3.00 each We had a better meal just down the road at the golf club where everything was included for £30.

Wonderful friendly staff. All paying close attention to government guidelines. I chose the filet steak and asked for it rare and it was perfect, chips were amazing also. My partner had the barn chicken burger and it was cooked perfectly, so juicy. Would highly recommend couldn't fault our evening.

I visited the restaurant for the first time with other family members who have been before.. WOW, the roast dinner was AMAZINGLY GOOD, especially the roast spuds, home made, which for me is an integral part of a good roast. DEFINITELY worth a visit, staff & atmosphere great & so relaxing.. And for people who like draught Stella, it's priced at ONLY £3.00 a pint... 👍😁👌🥃

The premises are on site at Stroud Hill Park caravan site where we were staying. We visited on the Friday night special 2 steaks and bottle of wine for £30. The service was good, the food excellent, and dog friendly area within the restaurant.

I just loved food which is served. Satff is really helpful and friendly. Waiting time is a bit longer than usual but 100% recompense good which you will be served. Just a small deatli, on Sunday a menu is really limited. Still I am highly recommended to go and check this place by yourself. Great design and lovely spot to enjoy meal.

Staff were absolutely superb, food for dinner was excellent. Only issue we had was the batteries on the smart lock needed replacing but the team did that with no hassle at all. Will definitely stay there again. Lovely quiet village setting and the cockerel wandering around was beautiful, was already awake to take the dogs out

What a great place to come and stay. The team here treat you like family rather then just guests and they have created a a really great vibe. With Richard the dog being the star of the show. The food on site is amazing and the pub is warm and cozy, there is a swimming pool, a hot tub, chickens, pigs and goats. Our room was large with two double beds which were nice a comfy. This is a great venue to stay at if you are visiting any of the festivals that are held nearby.

Stayed at the dog and castle Converted Horsebox with hot tub overlooking the fields., tranquil, quiet, peaceful and beautiful views. Had the delicious roast dinner for evening meal and Castle scrambled eggs for breakfast , the best I've ever tasted! Not sure what the cocktail was called but tasted like bakewell tart. Naughty but very nice, thanks John. 😁 And fabulous company . Thank you all staff. Xx I'll be back soon

Came for Sunday roast opted for two meat options. Had heard great things and wasn't disappointed great tasting food brilliantly cooked meat and great sides. Sat at table in middle section and could see the chefs at work very passionate about their food fantastic to see and very reasonably priced. Only option I would love to see would be a platter of meat where you. Ould get every type for either 2 or 4 people as I wanted them all. Had great dessert to take away also had a great wine list.

My Mrs booked us 2 nights here as a surprise early birthday present. We both really enjoyed ourselves. We were greeted my the manager John on our arrival, and on seeing my 6 foot 4 frame, upgraded our room for free because the bed in our booked room had a foot board. We saw both rooms and would have been happy in either. Nice touch. The service from the team here is brilliant. All staff we met were very friendly and talkative and couldn’t do enough for you. A team is exactly what they are. CJ noticed our hot tub was playing up, he spent over an hour making sure it was right. I was surprised when even the head chef asked is our hot tub was ok. Speaking of the head chef, Ross knows his way around the kitchen. We had the BBQ board for dinner and the cooked breakfast one of the mornings. The food was unreal and again, service brilliant. There isn’t much around the pub, other then fields if walking is your sort of thing, I was content drinking their lovely pints of Ice Breaker by the pool in the sun all weekend. The rooms are cozy, the food and drink are great, the staff are amazing, the location is beautiful……We will definitely be back.

Our room needed a lot of work to bring up to any sort of letting standard, the hot tub hadn’t been cleaned let alone checked as there was underwear left in it. Food was inedible, which was blamed on the new chef, my wife went back to the room to vomit and our bottle of wine was cleared, yet we were still charged. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly wouldn’t return

A lovely place which we recommend: * great staff: friendly, helpful and professional; * great food at a reasonable price: in the 6 years since Nando’s opened on this site, we have never had a meal there that we did not enjoy; * great venue: nice atmosphere, clean, friendly and with plenty of parking; * great also for take-aways.

Ordered on Deliveroo, they need to make sure that they are checking that everything is the bags before sending them off. Missing my butterfly chicken but apart from that everything else was good. Thank you for the reply. Well you could make it better next time by actually making sure all the food is in the delivery bags.

I love the staff at this nandos, they always recognise me (I think) and are always super lovely, pleasant and kind. If it was cheaper I'd go more often 😁

Horrible staff with no respect or basic decency for a vulnerable customer. My wife asked for a sharp knife as she is disabled and has difficulty cutting her meal with a dull knife. Staff treated her like an alien, like she was asking for a pink unicorn. They refused to provide a basic steak knife, and went on about how they can't give her a cleaver from the kitchen or some other absurdity. They must not have ever eaten at a steak restaurant, or seen a set of table cutlery at Tesco. It's not even just about whether they had steak knifes available, it's the way they treated us, like we were asking for something insane. The manager even nonchalantly suggested that my wife ask someone else to cut her food for her. The concept of basic dignity is obviously lost on him.

We had a great experience here, staff and food excellent. We came with a toddler, whose behaviour i have to say was impeccable! High chair provided and good choice of food for the toddler. Loads of parking too, will definitely return on our next visit to huntingdon

Came here this evening and our host, the lovely Marcel, was making sure our food was okay and being really welcoming and kind. I love to see good service nowadays as everyone just seems to do their job and go home, he really made the experience so much better and i’m so glad he was our host.
