SERVICE: Good service from the pleasant waitress. 9/10
DECOR: Loved the model fishing boats dotted around. Toilets were clean and fresh. 8/10
X-FACTOR: Great location, down by the harbour, with fishing boats in view from the windows. Amazingly, when we went at 1530 on a Thursday we had the place to ourselves. 9/10
VFM: Great value! £38 for 2 people, including soft drinks, bread and butter. 10/10

Yesterday i came to the Dolphin Cafe try their famous fish and chips. All the girls were very nice and friendly. The service was pretty quick. Fish and chips turned out amazingly delicious so I definitely will come back.

The front part of the area is restricted and has safety guides. You may ask for directions to the restaurant. During business hours, some parking spaces are restricted for the government and the harbour department.

Frankly, it was overpriced with poor staff. I had a tea, and they forgot the milk. I also had a bagel with avocado. That's not an abbreviation; it was literally just a bagel with avocado. No butter. no pepper. Not even salt. And it cost over £4. Partner had a bacon bagel at it was dripping grease. Never again.

Very disappointing. Came to try the pancakes based on the reviews, no pancakes. Had a bagel with cream cheese instead, wasn't cooked through properly, sent it back and the next was the same, as for the cream cheese on top, well there wasn't much of it. Tea and coffee were nice. Disappointed.

After looking for a nice restaurant to go to without travelling through to Aberdeen i went to Asha's Indian Aroma in Peterhead. This was well worth the visit. Was constantly looked after by the staff from the minute we walked in until we left.
I like a bit of spice but not too extreme so i asked the waiter what they recommended and they were spot on. I have found my new favourite dish.
I visited on a Saturday so was busy but we expected that. My only regret is not going on the Sunday night as i saw the menu for their buffet and i will be returning to try that.
It was a party of 3 and our bill was fairly priced for the experience that we received and the standard and portion sizes of the food. It was a good amount of food that we were given boxes so we could take our leftovers home.

The host was a friendly woman. The food was expensive and honestly really tasteless. It feels like it has not a lot to do with Indian food. During dinner I felt like there must be a pizza place on the backdoor: the Naan we got was that thick that it could be considered a (plain/garlic) pizza.
For two plates of food and two cokes we paid rougly 48£. Only cash was accepted.
Would not recommend anyone if looking for Indian food.

I recently visited "Asha's Indian Aroma" and had an incredible experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that truly captured the essence of Indian and Bengali culture.
The food was absolutely delicious! I tried several dishes and they were cooked to perfection, bursting with authentic flavors. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was impressive.
The staff was very courteous and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. They even provided great recommendations for dishes based on our preferences.
Overall, I highly recommend "Asha's Indian Aroma" to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine. It’s a great place for family dinners, casual outings, or even special occasions. Can’t wait to visit again!

I had ordered from them once in the past and the food (lamb chops/biryani/chicken starter) was soggy and very greasy. The portions however were of decent size but lacked quality. If you are thinking of trying this place, do yourself a favour, save your pallet from being engulfed with grease by going somewhere else!
Starter and main course absolutely lovely, so much choice. Staff beyond helpful and attentive. The 3 star is because there were not a lot of people sitting in. Don't let the entrance down an alley way put you off.
Delicious food & great staff, sadly there was only one other table in, so there wasn’t much atmosphere.
Today, my experience at Asha Indian Takeaway was simply delightful. The flavours were truly amazing! We savoured dishes like Tarka dal, Sag paneer, rice, and Bombay aloo, all prepared to perfection with just the right amount of spiciness and rich Tarka flavor, sans any overwhelming sweetness. I can't help but suggest they rename it to "Asha Aromatherapy Curry" - that's how much we relished the meal!
First time ever been here, but one of my best experiences with indian dishes. Highly recommend it to someone who's traveling around here and loves indian dishes!

Before we arrived I specifically called to see if they were dog friendly. Was told no and we could sit at an outside table.
On arrival at 3.15 as soon as we walked in the waitress straightaway looked at her watch. Well that made us feel very welcome!
We ordered broccoli and Stilton soup which was lovely and scampi and chips, also very nice and milk shakes - lovely. When I phoned I also asked what time they stopped serving but was told no time just come along. We ordered food at 3.20pm.
Three more folk arrived at 3.40 with a dog. They were not turned away but a waitress came and asked if we had any objection to a dog coming in. Of course I did, my objection was that we were specifically told no dogs inside. I was not happy about this because I don’t like leaving my dog in the campervan especially when it’s muggy.
Another moan is “why can’t staff smile at you when serving you” apparently it takes less muscles to smile than to frown!
I also didn’t like the fact that the guy (wearing a grey BOSS outfit) went through the cafe to go outside to smoke and then went back into the kitchen. If you’re going to smoke go out where you can’t be seen.
I don’t think I will return.
Popped in for a cup of coffee, lovely wee place. Was meaning to post a picture of my scone, but it was eaten before I remembered. Really tasty, very relaxed, lovely waitress.
I ordered the ham and cheese toastie with lentil soup, the toastie was amazing and the lentil soup was the best i’ve had from any other places !! my boyfriend got the chicken fillets and says they are better than zanres, both had a lovely meal!
My husband had a coffee and a Maltese tray bake. I had a hot chocolate and a lovely apple n cinnamon scone, my sister also had a hot chocolate and a coconut tray bake. We all really enjoyed our cakes and the staff are really welcoming and very helpful. It a lovely café and we will definitely be back the next time we come to Peterhead.
Simpsons Tea Room is everything you want in a cosy cafe, delicious home cooked food, the warmest, friendliest service and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond! A perfect little escape.
It was very busy, one had coffee & cake the other coffee & scone, the scone was heated but ended up too hard to eat.

I've been a regular customer here for a few years, now all of a sudden it's gone down hill, soggy batter, soggy chips and 17 quid!! Sadly will not be going back.
Staff are always very friendly and helpful, food is top notch, just sorry there is no king rib on the menu any more. I would highly recommend them.

Visited the other night for a chicken curry. Never again, the alarm bells were ringing after getting my order within 5 minutes. The order was obviously hastily thrown together then microwaved, the curry was bland and tasteless (farmfoods would do a better job) there were more onions in the dish than chicken.I would not recommend this Chinese nor will I go back.
Absolute Disgrace!! Pre ordered was told running late, that was ok, another 20 minz went by & still no delivery, contacted the takeaway was told it was on route, another 20 minutes passed by & still no food rang & cancelled!!!
Very disappointed and went there on others ratings. Long wait for starter then main course arrived within minutes. Spring roll starter served without dipping sauce - I did get some when requested- again after a delay. Glad of starter as main was fried beef fat - the shredded beef I could not eat. Waiter was cheerful and tried to help.
Good food, appalling service. It took an hour to get our main course. The poor kids never received theirs after an hour and a half. We had to swing by McDonald's on our way home to feed them, since we couldn't stay longer due to licensing laws. Portions were small, I left hungry still due to the need to leave and only getting one main course in the long time frame given. If the service was better I'd be very inclined to give it another star. Decor and flooring is quite worn and tattered. Everything speaks.

Food was very tasty and was delivered on time as well. Only issue I had the missus hates onion and I asked for her dish without onions but it came with them in it. Other than that 👍 will definitely order again.
A celebratory takeaway ordered and eaten in double quick time, it had to be good as every last crumb consumed. Excellent meal, great quick service, many thanks to the staff, highly recommended!

We had a lovely meal with our friends at North Bar Peterhead. It’s great to see new life in a building which has been empty for longer than I can remember. Good service, good food and nicely furnished. Well done to everyone involved in this project. The DUX board is a great talking point.

Whilst visiting Peterhead Prison Museum, we stopped at The North Bar and the food was simply 👌 excellent. Friendly staff and great atmosphere but not busy (by the way showing Euro matches). We will be back!!
First time on a Sunday with family, they had a vegetarian option. However, it came with fewer vegetables than the carvery options, and some veg missing. It's a lovely setting, will return to sample the bar as it is gorgeous
Was nervous from the recent reviews but please don't be put off by these! Absolutely fantastic food and service, very attentive and couldn't have done more. Starter we had was the trio of bon bons, the sauces that came with each one were brilliant. For our main we had the Azeri sharing platter which again was delicious, more than enough for 2 big eaters! Couldn't fault the restaurant and will definitely be back.
Was in yesterday for the fish tacos and they were amazing.
On previous visits I’ve had the Azeri platter which was delicious also. Another one to try is the borscht which I would certainly have again.
The cocktail list is excellent too.

It's a good subway if you have time to knock in our there is no line. It is such a good subway but they really should have more stock or have some more staff because 3 isn't enough. Pricing is definitely amazing especially £4 for 12 cookies. I would recommend if visiting but don't go if in a rush.

Horrible quality, went to subway during lunch, there were 3 staff working, barely any breads left. Staff on the till never changed their gloves when went to work on the meats section until I've asked them. There were not managing at all, took them 30 minutes to serve 5 people in front of me. In Aberdeen I normally get served in less than 15 minutes.
I enjoyed my sandwich from Subway, but the seating area is filthy. I took the sandwich away instead. I don't think I'll be back. The serving are itself seemed clean enough but the overall vibe is not of cleanliness.

Stumbled across this place looking for some cheap breakfast and we were absolutely smitten! Staff was so nice and welcoming, the scones are homemade everyday and so delicious! We bought two to go. Also had the strawberry smoothie and a bagel with cream cheese. Their breakfast menu is simple and delicious (and served all day!!) and their lunch options looked great to. Really great value for money!!

Very attentive to my almost 2 year old daughter too which automatically makes somewhere 10x better we were offered a high chair straight away and her kiddies lunch came out first including fruit and a yogurt on a plastic plate and plastic spoon which you don’t get in most places and I have to take my own which is such a faff, from a mums point of view this place is a must go to!!
I will deffo be returning the man serving us was so lovely and welcoming , I will be telling all my friends and family to make the trip up for lunch.

Ordered a takeaway. Food arrived in a cardboard box. Stone cold. Chips were like rubber. Fried rice was congealed and tasteless. Curry sauce was a congealed lump. Everything had to be heated in the microwave. Which made no difference to the taste. The sauces where not marked to say what they where.
I ordered Duck with sweet chilli sauce and fried rice last night..I ate a half portion last night and just had the rest for my lunch..I didnt expect to find a piece of wire in my rice ? just glad it was me and not my grandson although it was in my mouth before I noticed and wondered what the sharp object was. Dont know if i can get refunded for this??
Ordered a carryout meal from here. Plenty of choice from the menu. Service was quick. Food was very good. Ample parking from pay and display carpark directly outside. Free after 5.00pm.
Arrived on a Saturday night to attend the buffet. Phoned ahead to confirm, arrived but no buffet available. The staff also need to pay attention to cleanliness at the restaurant, windows need a good clean. As a local guide I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Please avoid. Many thanks

I'll start by saying it was good portion sizes and I'd recommend the ribs, they're the meatiest around. However when I got there I was greeted by a lot of stairs, this for many myself included presents difficulties. I'd ordered online and was collecting, I had gone in with change for a tip in my pocket. Once the young lady concluded the difficult task of locating and handing me my food her attitude was very much here's your order now f#$k off! Because of this she got no tip.
The food was good, however they need to bring the food down, too many stairs. Because of the servers attitude I wouldn't eat in.
After waiting for 1 hour for my order i called to find why my order has not arrived, was told that it will be delivered in another 30 mins. I said that I was not happy about the length of time. The girl who I talked to was polite and will mannered said that they will put some fortune cookies in as apology. But having to wait for over 1.30 to be offered cookies to make up for the wait is poor.

Came down today for lunch with my daughter. A good selection of food at a very reasonable price. I had the chicken strips and my daughter had sausage and chip (child's portion). My chicken was excellent and my daughter scoffed hers too. They also have a selection of children's meals, pieces and scones. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Tables are all spaced out to accommodate the new social distancing measures, hand sanitising station when you enter and extra sanitiser inside too. Looking forward to coming down for a breakfast soon!
This cafe is situated within the Peterhead Fisherman's Mission building. Over the past few years there's been a few changes in faces and management but the food, cakes and coffee are just as good as it used to be. Been attending the Fisherman's Mission for the past 35 years and have never been disappointed. The food portions are honest and they cater for all ages. Prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit.
Really clean Cafe by Peterhead harbour with the friendliest staff. Great fish and chips. We have been before and had their scampi which was also delicious.
Was looking forward to eating there but was very disappointed with the food. Requested hamburger with salad, which came with chips, asked for baked potato instead. When I paid my bill they had charged for two meals, one being the hamburger and the other baked potato listed as a separate meal, even though the waitress said it could be instead of chips in front of my friend. I won't eat there again as feel the bill was overpriced. £13.75 for mine and £10 for my friends, never again
Home-made soup was excellent, but childrens portions were very small, 3 year old was not impressed with the 4 tiny chicken nuggets.
Happened upon this place by chance. Absolutely great food, really good value for money. The fish and the fish cakes were really, really tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered a home delivery at 4.10pm and never came until 5.10pm. Only live around the corner and took this time to come to the door and the food was just about warm. Phoned and didn't seem to care at all. We are regular customers. Well not any longer, won't be ordering again.
First time we went to Peterhead and we quickly felt hungry. Hence, we wanted something to eat quickly. We’ve ordered beef and mixed kebabs as well as cheese bites and fries. Everything was delicious.
They had a lot of fizzy drinks to choose from that are not normally available at other places as well conventional drinks like coke, sprite etc. Here, they had Tango blueberry Rio tropical and a lot more.
The premises was very clean which makes you eat at that place. The most prominent part of a takeaway is the taste and this place was no less than German Doner Kebab, if not better.
P.S. their grilled tea was something!!!
Placed an order for delivery at 22:30. Was contacted at 22:45 and was informed that they order would not arrive until 23:20. the reason given was that other orders had came in and the delivery driver was out on other deliveries. considering the food was supposed to arrive at 22:30 I cant help but think it must have been sitting in the shop for at least 45 mins before being delivered. In our week in the N.East this is the third Symposium we have been in and each one has been impressive. Once again very friendly staff who could tell us one had just opened in Glasgow so another one to visit nearer home. This one had interesting views across the harbour as well as a good choice of food. Just had a fruit scone today but it was light and very tasty with butter and jam included. At this rate, mite need to get a loyalty card.
Absolutely spoiled for choice here. Big portions. Food was really nice. Staff friendly. Place is always clean. And the views from here are excellent. It over looks the lido. Always something interesting going on. There is also a play park just down the hill to take the kids after lunch. Highly recommend this place :)

I'm all up for losing weight but not losing money on meagre portions. 9 and a half chips with a sprinkle of cheese and a half cooked piece of garlic bread. Macaroni was tasteless, but for a change, they had everything available on the menu. Definitely will not be back.
Really slow service even though it was practically empty but staff seemed nice. Found it strange that on our receipts it stated “no intolerances” even though we were never asked? The rocky road sunday looked nothing like the picture. Also no drinks menu on any tables! Should make it clear they have stopped using the online ordering service. Nice clean toilets though

Husband and I had the 8oz aged sirloin. We asked for medium rare and one came back a bit more rare than medium rare but it was still an enjoyable meal.

I placed a booking for roughly 35 people from my initial time meeting the staff to the day we went for the meal they couldn’t have made it easier! So accommodating and welcoming the meal was quick and the staff (Kim, Aimee, Steph and chefs Duncan&Ernest) were so friendly, attentive and overall just made it a pleasurable experience!

We even received an apology for our desserts taking too long. They were super busy so we completely understood.

I like the Harbour Spring, don’t get me wrong. It has a reasonable menu and the staff are always very accommodating and friendly. Good selection of drinks and plenty of parking. It’s just that there always seems to be a problem when we go. Something’s not working or there’s no grill. Chips aren’t available or just a shortage of menu items. Used to go regularly, but the carvery is less frequent now and the cake selection was massively reduced. That selection was a treat in itself and we’d often swing in by to collect some desserts to take home…but whether it’s budgetary reasons or whatever else…there just doesn’t seem to be enough things on offer.
Now we pop in on the odd occasion to give it another try. The restaurant always appears to be very quiet now, when a few years back it was always moving with people. I do hope at some point it gets back to its former glory as when it opened. Decent food and families catered for are not that common in the area.
The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in. They truly do an impressive job with the team they have, ensuring that every guest is well taken care of.
The wait for the food is slightly longer but is delicious and definitely above average, with each dish prepared with care and great attention to flavor. You can tell the team takes pride in both the service and the quality of what they serve. I got her chicken tikka biryani with Peshwari nan
I got lamb biryani with keema nan the portion sizes are great we got a
Couple of Papadams each too with their house chutney selection spiced onion,mint and mango you would normally get mixed lime pickle but they swapped it out for me they also put our biryani curry sauce separate (quite a few places don't do this, the delivery was a bit late (it said on Uber eats it would arrive between 2005-2025 it arrived at 2035 we weren't bothered as we didn't plan on eating straight away)
So it arrived my partner put it in the kitchen, went back to the bedroom
I went to the kitchen to take nan out the bags so the didnt go soggy before I knew it I was loading my biryani on a plate next thing she comes in and starts doing the same,
The meat was so tender it fell apart as I ate it barely a need to chew then the rice wow not one bit of stodgy,sticky,clumpy bits in it at all it was perfect the flavours were amazing,
I also got coconut rice I have it as a pudding well I will be later as I am absolutely stuffed,
I never even managed to take pictures of my biryani for here it was gone as quick
I haven't eaten the coconut rice yet but I've tasted it and again just wow, we will be coming back again

Tandoori chicken is Chicken tikka masala without the sauce, if they just asked instead of going in the huff over something they got wrong then leaving a bad review that would have been a better way to go about things

Had a take away last night and it was very disappointing, tikka overpowered by lemon (or something similar) korma bland and tasteless, nan not even browned, rice just boiled rice with two or three coloured grains on top and the pakora tasted foul as if the oil had not been changed in a long long time. Pity as this place used to be very good but now it's very poor.
My family have been ordering from Zara's for years. We've never once had a bad takeaway. We've always received hot fresh food in huge amounts.
Today was my families first time eating in at the restaurant and honestly, I really wish we had done it sooner. We went in for my Dad's 60th birthday. The place looked nice. It was very spacious and had a nice chilled atmosphere.
The fellow waiting on us was very friendly, very funny and was very welcoming. He treated us all very well and went out of his way to make sure that our time there was a good one.
The food we ordered, it may have been a bit much. Which admittedly was our own fault (my Dad's to be specific lol). But we ordered a fine selection of starters, a few sides and obviously a curry and rice each. Every plate we got was extremely delicious. It was all nice, hot and from what I've experienced, tasted very fresh.
At the end of our time there, the staff surprised us with a cake and candle for my Dad. We didn't make any arrangements for this and it was quite a surprise. It was a lovely gesture, one my Dad appreciated. We felt bad that we were already stuffed and had little room for cake. But we left some for the staff because they were awesome.
We're definitely planning on going back in. It was great. We were there for two hours and thirty minutes and between the great staff, the food and atmosphere, it didn't feel it. Definitely a hidden gem in our sad little town.
If you fancy a sit in curry, this is definitely a place to go.

Every order going back a year was overcooked and upset my stomach, gave them another go and even worse, something that used to resemble chips that a dog could not eat and chicken balls were cremated and they take issue when you call to complain and ask for refund lol. Delivery also is slow and food was barely warm. Shocking at the prices charged…no qc or don’t care, same old excuse that they are busy, never again for me. How they remain in business with multiple competitors is astounding.
Was my first experience and was horrible the food was way past the app time I called he said it was out for delivery my house is 4 minutes drive away and took 15 minutes longer to arrive and it showed I payed 48+ for cold chips cold special fried rice the skewer sass was cold the shredded chick was thick and cold the peeking shredded beef was cold only thing that was hot was the chicken sweetcorn soup and the spring rolls won’t be back there
Been using oriental city for many years now. Granted food is always late but hot and tastes great. Last night however I placed my order early with the hope that it would be ready and delivered on time but again was an hour late. What was worse was the food was all freezing cold. I had called 40 mins before it arrived to be told it was ready and waiting on a driver so it had obvs sat around all that time. Had to reheat everything. Called and the owner told me is was lying and the food wasn’t cold ! Nice customer service !!! Won’t be using again !! £62 spent and thrown in the bin !
Terrible service! Which is such a shame as the food is very good. Phoned in order at 17.20 was told it would be 30mins turned up at 17.55 to collect and was told it wouldn't be long. Stood waiting 30mins then I asked how long it would be and was told again not long then after another 10mins I asked how long and she said it was being bagged up, after another 10mins I asked where my order was and she said they were just waiting for one more dish. After standing waiting for an hour my order was finally brought out. All that time my 2 young children were sat waiting in the car with my mum. If they cannot make orders on time they should be turning away customers instead of lying to us and making people wait an unacceptable amount of time.
Was a fan of this place, ordered often, but recently on my last order the food was horrible. My wife got sick on the curry sauce and special rice and my meal was fake chicken (used to be real now frozen fake in the rice) and the rest of my meal was tasteless and was not of the old good quality.
The food from here is really nice, no question however the waiting times and staff attitude really let this place down.
Waiting an hour and 10 minutes for my order and when I went in the staff didn't really have a clue what was going on. If you complain about the fact you've ordered an hour and 10 minutes ago they roll their eyes. I was really disappointed and by the time I drove home the food was cold so it had obviously been sitting for a while. Management need to take a look at why waiting times are so long and speak to staff, it's not professional.

Portion size was good, they fill the tray up with chips.
Prices are reasonable & although I can't condone a chippy tea a couple of times a week, you wouldn't be going far wrong getting it from here.

The size of a ‘double’ haddock was rather disappointing. The fish was a baby size. Honestry, it was the smallest haddock I had since had had at uni catering. Even worse, the fish and chips were soggy.
Edit: 30mins after ‘meal’ it has upset my stomach, likely that horrible heat treated oil they all use now, disappointing.

Place had good reviews…maybe Covid or the jab has killed tastebuds? Or I was unlucky and got bad batch?

We switched to Fishbook chip shop in Peterhead from a well-known place in town because we were fed up with waiting 45 minutes to an hour for our meals. We are definitely glad we did! Fishbook is probably the best chipper in Peterhead. The selection of fish they have is great. The food is always cooked perfectly, and it tastes amazing. We have never regretted switching to Fishbook. Highly recommend!

The fish supper I had from the Fish Book has to be the best I have had in many years. The fish was perfectly cooked in crisp and delicious batter, and the chips were tasty and so morish. I am not a local, but I will look for an excuse to come back to Peterhead to visit the Fish Book again.
I had the fish combo supper, so had a small piece of fish, some scampi and chips. Was really nice, probably enough for me and my 12 yr old to share as I was stuffed, and if you can get the chips and batter right you can't go wrong.
Hubby had the spicy chicken burger with chips, wasn't spicy enough for him - I didn't taste it so it might have been spicy enough for me.
All in all was good meals, it was really busy being pay day Friday but hey ho.

We went in to a horrible smell of body odour from our server that followed him through the restaurant and he placed us ( a party of 3) in a comically small table in the corner, clearly made for 2. causing me to sit side on and have one a plate half off the table. The place was empty aside from 2 other parties. The food came, one order was wrong and all the salad was browning, clearly out of date, the batter was very rubbery and chicken chewy, chips were fine though. Not worth the price.

Went for a celebratory meal for my husband's birthday. We are both tea total so the food is the main draw for us and the food was lovely. The service was faultless, nice bunch of girls waitressing there, polite, well dressed and friendly. The decor was warm and inviting and well maintained. Could not fault the Waverley Hotel. We are thinking about booking our Christmas dinner there this year.

Our party of 9 walked out due to rude staff and a health and hygiene issue. Staff put their hands into glasses to remove ice from drinks which they got wrong. My grandad who is an amputee, from below the knee, asked for no ice. We were regular customers and shocked by the attitude of the waitress who slammed the glass on the bar and made comments to her workmate about us. Family in our party were visiting from Luxembourg so this meal was a special get together. We are very disappointed this evening

The food was absolutely delicious and the 2 young waitresses were lovely, nothing was too much trouble, so friendly and smiley. Would definitely recommend this place for Sunday lunch.

We have to say that this wasn't bad. Visited after a trip round the prison museum. This is scored as the best food in Peterhead....and it's not even in Peterhead. The negatives were the home made rolls (tiny and uncooked inside), the overcooked veg and the cheesecake with little in the way of base. However, the roast dinners were otherwise good and the Yorkshire puddings impressive. Also, the sticky toffee pudding was good.
We found this cozy little gem in our last adventure, we found ourselves in a spotless clean room, an extra comfy bed, and a generous size bathroom.
Shower water pressure is on point 🚿, and I will definitely recommend it.
The food was good, although we only tried the Fish & Chips [many thanks to the chef for cooking a hot meal for us a little after closing time]

Just back from a lunch at the Seaview. We’re out on a sunny day enjoying our 44th wedding anniversary. At lunchtime thought about dropping into the Seaview. It was quiet so asked for a table (set for 3) to catch a glimpse of the sea, but no, apparently only options today are tables set for 2. Could only imagine a bus of booked passengers were about to arrive. Alas not.
Food rated okay. Fish goujons poor advert for local fish. Too much batter not enough fish. Chicken pie was fine said hubby. Enjoyment influenced by the way our request for table was dealt with.
This used to be a regular for us. Often given good reviews in the past and enjoyed family celebrations here. We might have stayed longer. Can’t say we’ll be back.

A small, plain, and somewhat outdated room . The hotel has a pretty nice view , but not in the room I was in though. The food quality was disappointing. I ordered the seafood mac and cheese, but I mistakenly read it as it was Tesco-style “sea-view mac and cheese “ .The mac and cheese was overpriced and served with cheap fries.
Maybe it depends on what you order... however, my meal was nothing more than the Tesco set menu.
Amazing food here never been disappointed had the Satay chicken tonight and its one of the best meals I have had from here highly recommend for anyone wanting to eat out around peterhead. My favourite place in this area

Just returned home from an overnight stay at the Palace Hotel, Peterhead. Excellent hotel, excellent friendly staff - nothing too much bother for them. Bad staff training and treatment, low wages and morale with a constant overturn due to this. Poor customer service and regard for guests. Staff and even management make derogatory and insulting comments about visitors who spend their money here. Awful hygiene practices and awareness.
There are few alternatives in the local area which is the reason I think this place continues to operate a reasonable trade. Between here and the Buchan Braes they have a monopoly in Peterhead. Go further afield and explore the places available in Aberdeen.

Overall very good. The staff are lovely, very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms themselves are nice with good decoration in the executive suites. However, the bathroom could have done with a complete revamp. It looked old and shabby. Also the black mould marks around the bath sealant made it feel very shabby. The layout is a little strange to get to the rooms and I feel that better signage may help, it took us a wee while to figure out where our rooms were.
Breakfast was very good, large portions and tasty.
The location is excellent and most things are 5/10 mins walk from the hotel.
Stayed here for a couple of nights on business and was pleasantly surprised.
All staff throughout were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and really good quality; really enjoyed the smoked haddock and poached eggs. Lots of choices for dinner in the restaurant on the mezzanine floor above the bar and, again, the food was good. The bar itself has a pub feel, complete with pool table; ideal for a work trip.
My bedroom, despite well worn decor and a cheap shower curtain, was a decent size, warm and comfortable. The corridors, however, would also benefit from a freshen-up. Nevertheless, the staff, food and amenities make this hotel well worthy of a 4-star review.

We did not quite know where we could eat without a reservation, so we walked in expecting to place a take-away order. The staff mentioned that we could dine in, and showed us the area behind the counter, which was a very pleasant looking sit-down area. We decided to eat in and really were glad that we did. The menu offered a wide variety of options and beverages. It was a real challenge to choose, but we were very happy with our selections. The staff was very friendly, and very busy. It's a great choice for good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Been here several times as we really liked it here however last 2 times been disappointing & doubt we will return. Kids menu states fruit shoot for kids and Freddo but now it’s diluting juice and Aldi chocolate so if you are supplying your customers with cheaper goods then have it reflect on the price you charge your customers. You need to change menu also and state it’s not fruitshoot. Waited good while to pay. Girl standing there took a while to realise I was waiting to pay. Was asked if all was ok I said about the diluting juice and Aldi choc but she just looked vacant & charged full price anyway.

Food is decent enough, for a cafe, but the service, well, not so great. The younger waitress just looked miserable. Wait times are ridiculous, only ordered 2 sandwiches, which took 30 minutes until finally served.
Sat another 20 minutes until they finally took the empty plates and asked if we wanted something else. We did, we wanted scones, but despite asking about them before ordering our food, we were then told that they had just sold out of scones!

I had lunch today at NIKIMAX CAFE and brought along my border collie puppy. It was his first time in a shop, so he was a bit overwhelmed and barked a lot. The staff were kind enough to give him water and even ordered a cooked sausage and ice cream for him. The food was excellent, with everything being tasty and delicious. My puppy, Patch, gives it 5 stars for the sausage and ice cream.
I don’t know the area very well so just kind of stumbled upon this place. It has limited seating but was quiet when we went in. Nice selection on the menu, very fair pricing, food was served quickly. No issues with what we ordered at all.

On a lovely day this is a place place for all the family with a great park for the kids, lots of grassy area for you to have a kick around etc. Toilets a small museum and cafe where is also the fairy woods at the entrance which your children will enjoy as yourself. Only downfall is maybe adding a small train to take you all around the park.
Beautiful gardens and walks with lots to see. There is a lovely small tea room and the farming museum too which was interesting.
Called Saturday 28th July around 3.45pm to find everything closed! Cafe said open until 5pm every day but was closed. Shop closed etc etc. Very strange....

I had set meal for 2 yesterday from here. With lamb Makhani and King prawan curry. Both curry was well cooked and tastes delicious. Naan and rice as well. Price is affordable also.

I recently visited Brewdog Peterhead for a quick alcohol free beer and the staff were fantastic. The two staff on duty were very friendly and it's a shame I couldn't stay for a few proper beers! The service was great and the bar was clean with a good selection of beers like you would expect in a brewdog bar.

Have enjoyed visiting Brewdog in Glasgow and Ellon, I thought why not Peterhead. The staff there were friendly and gave me testers of beer before selecting the one I wanted. The food was also very tasty, which was a vegetarian Pizza. I would suggest if your on a trip to Peterhead and your looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy a drink and a pizza this is the place for you.

We always use Chico's when looking to get a munchy box (and Kebabs or Calzones). All the staff are great, always cheerful and full of banter. The food was great as always, however we did have a couple of items that are ususally in the munchy box missing on this occasion this has never happened before and when I went to pick up my order I could see they were out the door with orders. Unfortunately we won't be coming back as this is the third time in a row the food has been terrible. We came back to try again, as we've always enjoyed their cafe but it has really gone down hill. Tables a mess, mess on the floor, missing items on the breakfast, food was cold. Always seems to be the same excuses that their short staffed. We did complain about the food, it was taken back which we really appreciated but it basically came back just as bad. Not fair on the staff on the till that have to deal with the complaints.

When my order did arrive it was slapped down on the serving table without so much as a glance my way. No words. I was the only one in there so I knew it was mine.
Then proceed to wake up at 3am the next morning with food poisoning. It's now 10:32 and iv barely been away from the bathroom. Big voms. Big poops.
Not the worst food poisoning iv had. But still not a fan.
I ate nothing else yesterday so deffo the KFC.
Feels a bit like they've given up since top G wings came to town.
KFC Mildenhall never disappoints! Fresh, tasty chicken every time. Staff are super friendly and the service is fast. Perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

Always greeted by friendly, smiling staff, who often remember our order. Food is always fresh and piping hot. Staff are chatty while you wait for a takeaway. Pizzas are so fresh & cooked ro perfection, and chicken fantasia is highly recommended.

I have no idea why this pizza was so dark?
Very poorly put together food, I understand it’s a take away and you get what you pay for with any takeaway but when I order food I expect to be able to take my food and eat it.
I ordered a kebab with salad and chilli sauce, i got my food and went down to the doc to eat it in the sunshine and was found a dry kebab with two other packages, the other packages being salad and my chilli sauce.
So basically I had to construct my meal.
This would have been fine I’ve I’d taken it home and was serving it on a plate but for me at the time it was very much an inconvenience and it’s not what a takeaway should be like in my opinion.
The food it’s self, it was ok, it was no better or worse than any other takeaway.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely vile staff, they cancelled my £56 online order after an hour and a half of waiting, took £56 from my account and slammed the phone down on me when I called to enquire what was going on. Will never order from here again and would recommend anyone avoid
Food is lovely and always cooked to order. However, the customer service is shocking. There was a time where we were given the wrong order, which happens. So we phoned, told them it was wrong and the older man was very rude about it. Wouldn’t let us have a word in edgeways. Finally got it sorted. Then tonight, we ordered food and it came, was lovely but the older man (again) hammered on the door, put the food down on a wet step and walked away before I could even open the door which is just rude. Won’t be ordering from here again.
Ordered a medium donor kebab takeaway from marmaris in peterhead, payed £7.50 for literally bird food there is nothing in here at all, ate a bit and the garlic sauce tasted expired so i threw it in the bin
Wasn't impressed with the food ordered two 10inchs pizza's, after travelling home and opening the pizza's they were burn, would of took them back if I was closer, will not be returning to this place

Good value, good size portions and delivered direct to our door.

Great wee place for bacon or sausage butties, fry-ups and run by local lasses. It's a wee bit out of the way to find, based inside a Haulage Yard - but they're kept really busy, testament to how good they are!
There's only 3 or 4 small tables inside, so dining in becomes a question of luck.
I witnessed a massive breakfast eating challenge while there - so will need to read more about that!

Popped into The Village Chipper recently and tried the Stornoway black pudding supper — absolutely delicious! The black pudding was full of flavour and cooked perfectly, and the chips were hands down the best I’ve tasted locally — crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.
The staff were fantastic — really friendly, helpful, polite, and clearly knew their stuff. The service was fast and efficient, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. Couldn’t fault a single thing. Highly recommend if you’re after top-notch food and brilliant service!
Went for the medium fish and chip supper . The staff were super chirpy and polite . Fish was cooked to order . Good sized portions .My only gripe and it's a small one and it is really only a small one , is that the fish was a bit greasy , not swimming in it but enough to mention . I still give it a solid 5 stars for the excellent service . Whisked them away and ate them down by the very picturesque harbour which only enhanced the flavour.

Worst mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Just empty burnt batter with no cheese in any of the 6 sticks. This is also the first mozzarella sticks I've ever ordered that didn't come with a dip. Chips were standard and chilcken fillets were small enough to be a kids meal a McDonalds.
You can fry everything, we have learned here and it is delicious. Absolute recommendation! It feels fresher I do not believe it and you will receive friendly.

Bn a chef 25 years and this company is a bloody joke. Cold food,orders take ages and the fact u pay for over priced garbage.highly recomened getting staff who can cook not to mention the soup tasted nothing but flour. and thats three orders I've had all bn terrible.Avoid and go elsewhere.

Often get takeaways from here. Usually good, food ready when they say. Offer collections and delivery. Reasonably priced. Not a great choice of soft drinks if you want to buy to go with your meal. Cash only, do not use cards.
Excellent food. The chef and his kitchen staff are brilliant. I'm surprised this takeaway isn't more popular. It's an unknown little gem, serving great food.

The food and smoothies are amazing! The staff are top knotch and so welcoming. Jerome is always thinking of new recipes for his sauces and smoothies and always eagerly awaits feedback when you try something new!
A fantastic small business that I will most definitely be returning to when i am in Fraserburgh for lunch.

First time in and One of the best experiences I’ve had in Fraserburgh, i walked in and felt like i just entered Jamaica, Bob Marley music playing in the background, Nice aromatic feeling with the Jamaican style food and atmosphere,
was greeted fantastically by the person at the desk, he was radiating amazing energy and so joyful, i came in to get some fresh juice, and he said he has been working on a hopeful tasty juice combination, and he showed me a paper with the fruits on it, and of course i said yes, he was so ecstatic to see i thought of it. And wow it was amazing! He was very glad

10/10 food and service. Myself and my boyfriend went in on a Saturday to try out. Pork belly was succulent and soft and the chicken was perfectly moist! The sauces were delicious three to choose from, on top of that mixing and matching plantain and waffles- chefs kiss! Their fresh juice was also amazing! Can’t wait to go back again!
Whilst on holiday in this part of Scotland, we decided to have a spot of lunch.
The aroma's drifting from Wi Jammin drew us in.
Being 'Jerk' aficionado's having been to Jamaica twice and the Caribbean several times, we couldn't resist trying the Jerk Chicken, Jerk Ribs, Peas and Rice and the Plantain.
There were also three sauces on to compliment the mains; BBQ, Cherry (yes cherry) and the spicy Scotch Bonnet sauce.
The food was authentic in taste but tempered heat wise for UK.
The Scotch Bonnet sauce takes it to the next level of spiciness (about half the heat in Jamaica).
All credit to Jerome (the owner) and Mathew for their enthusiasm for the Jamaican street food they offered up.
Staff is absolutely amazing and welcoming, food is always banging and tastes so good, aswell as the fruit juice😍. Definitely recommend trying there food.

Not for me, First time at a KFC and didn't like it or the service, the seats wasn't clean, hearing staff shout at each other across the seating area was a big let down
I have to say this was the best KFC I have ever had from Peterhead KFC. It was so full of flavour, chicken was so good and not burned or dry.
Whatever you dix keep doing it because it was delicious.
Staff were so friendly and happy to help. Although i did have a long time to wait for the takeaway meal it was worth the wait.

Ordered a sharing bucket but no variation given almost all we're legs.
I got the family bucket and it’s came with napkins so I ran out of toilet paper so I use the napkins sorry was being honest
