My husband and I walked in and asked for a table. The waiter asked if we had a reservation, which we didn’t. He said he’d get back to us, and simply ignored us for minutes while walking back and forth on the restaurant, like we were invisible. After waiting for so long and no attention, we just walked out. Very rude and not recommended at all.

ATMOSPHERE: Found this little gem by chance. There was no problem in getting a tables, but I'm not sure whether that's because we entered at 15:00 on a weekday. We sat outside in the terrace which is located in the heart of the 'barrio judío', with the medieval square offering a tranquil silence and creating the illusion of having stepped back in time. FOOD: We ordered the Merzula Aliñada (estilo carpachio) - fresh, tender, contrasted well with guacamole. The Croquetas Mixtas which were divine and not overly oily. The Crema de Patatas con Oreja - well balanced, slightly spicy and zesty. Not usually a fan of Oreja but it was diced and lightly battered which masked the often overly 'cartilagey' texture. The star dish of Pulpo con Queso Fundido - a must. And the Canelones de Carrillera - rich and full of flavour, perfect for sharing. Next time I return to Rivadumia, I'll definitely try eating here.

This bar is a nice surprise. We ate so well. The pickled mussels (mejillones en escabeche) is one of the best ones I have tried in Spain. The salad with goat cheese was very excellent! The chicken was very tasty! Highly recommend this place if you visit Ribadavia.

We found this place after a quick google search of places to eat near the Termas de Prexigueiro (it’s only 8 minutes by car). We called beforehand to book a table however it was not crowded or overly busy when we got there. They only do a few things, the menu is not filled with different kind of starters, mains and desserts instead they offer a few select dishes and everything is of an incredible high standard! I was able to try Rubia Galega for the first time and it changed my life! Thank you so much for having us! We had a fantastic meal! The waiter was very knowledgable and happy to explain everything! Really 10/10

Beautiful little winery on the main plaza, with a decent range of tapas. But you really come here for the steak: served on a sizzling-hot ceramic plancha, with fried potatoes and mushrooms on the side. One of the best steaks in the area, and that's saying a lot.

We had a wonderful stay. Since it was Sunday, the hotel restaurant only served lunch, but after service ended, we had the entire building to ourselves, which felt really special. Our room and common areas were spotless with amazing views. It would have been perfect to stay when dinner service was available, but Saturday rooms were booked. I enjoyed immensely our visit. Firstly strolling in the beautiful & tastefully decorated landscaped grounds. The views of the mountains against a backdrop of vineyards are special. Then there's the welcome from Jorge who explained the history of the beautifuly restored complex of buildings that comprise their hotel, restaurant & garden terrace bar. Sergio then looked after us well in the restaurant. I was struck by how good his wine list was with an excellent spread of Galician wines & other Spanish too. The Galician extra virgen olive oil from Quiroga was a great discovery too. The food was well elaborated, presented & tasty too. Marco's recommendation the tomatoes with tuna & tomate ice cream was delicious as was the rabbit salad. The mains the cod with cauliflower foam & roast chicken with potatoes & salad were good too. The fruit salad was also nice. I tried the only white & red wine by the glass,of course their own D.O.Ribiero wines which were delicious. Perhaps they should in the future look to offer more of a small variety of at least their own wines by the glass as their winery is on site? The decoration & atmosphere of the dinning room was perfect too with a nice selection of ambient music. A highly recommended experience which will not break the bank either !!

This is such a beautiful place to go and chill have a local wine in a bowl. They do food, but we didn't eat. Its such a old Tavern with dust on the floor and everything old as you could imagine years ago. Lovely outside area with wines. Shame you can't take pictures. There is a lovely guy who speaks English and explains about the family run Tavern.

It's a perfect choice if you want a very economical tapa (cheese, cured ham, chorizo, octopus and Arnoia green peppers when in season) and drink especially Santi's home-made wine. Steeped in history dating back a 1000 years it was the scene of the Galician film Esmorga. The owners Santiago, Rosa, Maika & Pepe will ensure you will have a fantastic time. Their artisan wines are unique too, the very essence of D.O. Ribeiro served from the traditional ceramic bowls. The tapas like green peppers from Arnoia or cheese perfect to go with the wines. It's the clientele that really make this a special place from friendly wine makers to artists to retired people or tourists. There's a beautiful rear garden terrace too. A must visit sight if you're in Ribadavia.

Atenção não perturbem muito o proprietário porque me deu a sensação que está meio despistado...para nós servir dois copos de vinho abriu três garrafas!!!
