Marisquería Solaina O Grove is a must-visit spot that never disappoints. The lobster rice is simply stunning, and the centollo salad and oysters make for a heavenly start to your meal. Pair your dishes with a perfect Muga Rioja wine for an exquisite dining experience. The grilled seafood for two is wonderful, and the service is excellent, providing a great overall experience.
No doubt A MUST ! The place never misses. The lobster rice is absolutely stunning. Have a centollo salad and oysters as a starter and wow die of heavenly treat. We had Muga Rioja it was perfect. You must eat here its great

Very nice food, Paella was just the right taste, not too overpowering. Paddron and soup was as usual good! Super cheap considered tats it's a Michelin restaurant:)
Jube L — Google review
Maybe it’s better during high season. Surprisingly disappointing seafood restaurant, though service was fine. Food is more under salted and lacking in flavor than usual —but those who are elderly, fragile or ill, or watching their salt might like it. Very surprised it had a Michelin recommendation. Pleasant white table cloth atmosphere. Seafood soup was thin and tepid; side vegetables for other dishes seemed almost out of a can.

Very delicious 🤤 recommend!
Ewa T — Google review
Table booked for 8 pm, when we got there (on time) they were rude, told us the waiters weren't in yet and when they did arrive they made snarky comments about us being early (even though we were just on time). Food quality did not match the (high) price. Seafood rice was low on seafood and rice badly cooked. Merluza gallega tasted a bit of reused oil (maybe just bad quality olive oil). We waited about 1h for the food. Each bread bun costed 1€, so the long wait was also very expensive. Go there only if nothing else is available! There are others around with much nicer food and certainly friendlier people.

Beiramar is a casual restaurant located on Avenida de Beiramar, offering stunning views of Illa da Toxa and the Arousa estuary. The restaurant has undergone a modern transformation while maintaining its traditional charm. It is included in the Michelin Guide and is known for its high-quality seafood dishes such as percebes, necoras, almejas, and navajas. The menu features Atlantic shellfish, rice dishes, and Galician seafood stews.
2024 Michelin and I may recommend the place, because the balance between quality vs price is top👌🏻 Fresh sea food including oysters and some family almejas. You may choose by yourself fresh lobsters in the aquarium! The menu is simple but delicious and easy to find something that you like and enjoy. I would recommend to finish your food with desserts and café liquor The service is excellent, the waitress is super attentive and helpful! Design of the place looks very traditional and classy
Olga V — Google review
I went there because suggested Michelin Guide suggestion but the seafood we ordered was not as expected because cooked with too many sauces. Good fish and seafood should be served to let you taste the fish at its best and not covered by sauces and other ingredients in an overcoming way. Having our little toy poddle we seated outside on the street

Excellent seafood restaurant with a very elegant atmosphere. The service is great and very polite. The dishes are truly delicious. Of course, the final bill is a bit on the expensive side...
Mattia B — Google review
The food and service was excellent. Best pulpo we have had in 2 years in Spain. Presentation did not stand up to the food but the flavors and pureness of the food were exceptional.

Delicious fish, octopus and cod. Didn’t pick up on the allergy that was shared ahead of time.

This place is great. Fresh seafood, nicely cooked and presented. Local delicacies you’ll never try anywhere else, for example the black zamburinas. The service is exceptional. The manager, the waiters and all the staff are exceptional hospitality professionals. Make you feel at home and they try to accommodate all request. They are knowledgeable about their product. It’s great to find a place like this Too all this with a well decorated restaurant next to the port and the local Lonxa. Great place to eat in O Grove, but you need to book

Seafood restaurant
Marisquería Mesón do Mar is a seafood restaurant located in O Grove, known for its simple dining room with exposed stones and a focus on cooking fish, lobster, and shellfish from the Rías Baixas. The establishment has adapted its menu to include gluten-free options, making it a favorable choice for those with celiac disease. As its name suggests (mar meaning sea), the restaurant's specialty lies in seafood dishes.
Tasty octopus. Restaurant has daily menu. Baby friendly- has baby room and children staff.

Delicious fresh sea food restaurant with a great service. The parrillada especial feeds 3 people no problem. 4 stars because the wine and the sea bass was overpriced. All the rest was awesome.

If you want to be insulted by management, cursed and shouted at this is the place to go. Avoid and look for another place where you will be treated correctly. I am a local, born and raised , and in all my years I have never seen such a disgraceful and offensive behaviour in a business. I was with some foreign friends showing them the area and As a Galician, I felt bad that a restaurant owner on a public capacity, were he is representing the region had such a despicable behavior towards a potential customer. Management cursed at as and chase us down the street with four empty plates faking that he was going to throw them at us. Should have called the police and place a complaint in the "libro de reclamaciones". Such behavior in unacceptable. Our crime, that we refuse to go into his restaurant. Thank you restaurant owner, I am glad I did not support your business.

(Translated by Google) A typical seafood restaurant, Mr. Importante serves gluten-free food with great care from the entire staff. I've rarely seen such attention to food allergies. Antonio is a true gentleman, kind and friendly. The food is delicious; for me, the crayfish have been the best in many years, grilled to perfection, juicy, and wonderful. I don't eat crab, but my friends also had the same opinion about the crayfish. The orujo cream flan is a surprise for the palate, delicious!

(Translated by Google) The perfect place if you want a seafood platter. Fresh produce and excellent value (with one exception I'll mention at the end). The staff is friendly and efficient, and the owner is charming, very attentive and hardworking. The only downside is the price of the bread. It's expensive, and they didn't ask if we wanted it or not; they just put it there. And they charged us eight pieces when there was one slice per person, and there were four of us. But overall, I recommend it.

Galician restaurant
Restaurante Villa Rolendis is a top choice for dining on La Toja island, offering exquisite food and a special location with magnificent views of the Ria de Arousa. The restaurant skillfully combines traditional Galician flavors with innovative touches, featuring wonderful local products on the menu. Guests can enjoy dishes like rice with lobster or hake with cockles while being serenaded by the sound of water in the background.
Wonderful experience, the food , the view , the service , the chef !!!! Please only go to this magnificent restaurant!!
Carmen G — Google review
Such a letdown based on reviews, arroz was extremely salty and laughable portion size for 23 euros per person. Zamburinas were bland, small and overpriced for what is served in nearby places. Coulant was definitely from frozen. Wine was good. I feel bad for the kind and attentive staff, they provide a great experience but really need to focus on the food. The view and decor just seems like a gimmick.
Hunter I — Google review
the interior has changed and is now in eclectic colourfull mix and match style. sea views although we ate pretty good during our holidays this cook took it to a higher level. the presentation of the food was also very nice. we got a complementary drink and a small pre meal snack/amuse bouche. off road parking next to the restaurant. one of the waitresses speaks fluent english. the are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. closed monday. next time I would reserve a table.
FlyBirdie — Google review
Extremely rude and not worth your money. I ordered an entrecote and it came completely burnt. They made a new one, which came completely undercooked. Believe me when I say that this meat was not edible. It didnt even look like food. Even though we didn't eat it, they made us pay for it.
Nina U — Google review
Cosy and quiet restaurant. Very good food at a fair price. The views are great and the atmosphere is really nice to enjoy the food close to the sea. The desserts we tasted were really good and the service was friendly. I would recommend the rice with seafood here.
Robert B — Google review
A little bit expensive for what we ordered. A tuna salad and a tomato salad,3 glass of wine,2 beers coffee and an ice cream-€27.80. Nice location with outside eating area overlooking the sea. Wouldn't rush back.

Restaurant
Restaurante Tapería Loraña is a great place to dine, offering a variety of delicious dishes. The octopus dish called 'pulpo a feira' and the delectable scallops are definitely worth trying. Their sirloin toast and prawn and choco croquettes are also highly recommended. For those on the go, they offer half an empanada which is both tasty and convenient.
(Translated by Google) Delicious food in reasonable quantities. Good service. When we arrived, we had to wait in line, typical of any Galician restaurant in the summer. Prices were average for La Toja Island. (Original) Comida rica y en cantidad normal. Buen servicio.

Michelin does not have enough stars! I have eaten all over the world, but never have I experienced such gourmet delicacies available in Restaurante Taperia Loraña. The food is the freshest I have ever experienced. The staff are beyond courteous and will cater to your every request with the utmost efficiency. The chef is clearly highly skilled in preparing the most incredibly detailed and exquisite dishes. I was so happy I almost vomited after a single bite (due to the overwhelming flavours and freshness, no doubt) I would eat every meal here everyday for the rest of my life if I could. I hope in the future this restaurant will expand and bring its unique flavours to the rest of the world.
Marco L — Google review
Loraña Pulpería Asador is in a convenient spot inside the mall area on La Toja, but the food was underwhelming. The fish of the day was fresh but lacked flavor, and we had to wait a while just to get a tiny portion of salt and olive oil. The mejillones were dry and not well-cleaned—(see photos and video attached) and even had bits of shell in it. The menu felt limited, and honestly the most appealing thing we saw was a cheese pizza a kid was eating at the next table. The mejillones are terrible, and the rest was medium to below average. The atmosphere is nothing special.
Summer A — Google review
This place was a disapointment. Food was a bit mediocre...and Pulpo was overcooked and under seasoned. White wine not served cold enough, and bread charged on the bill but not provided. If the prices were lower I would not have been so disapointed...but there is nothing cheap about here.
Ben P — Google review
(Translated by Google) Although it's a nice, well-maintained, clean place, the prices are ridiculously high, and the food isn't good. A "large" pulpo a feira (octopus a feira) was so small that we even asked if it was a large octopus. The platter was large, but the portion was small. The price for the large was €23 and the small was €19, and they only served us an octopus tail. We honestly didn't order more because, given the portion, it was better to eat the octopus and leave. They also add bread without warning and want to charge you €2 for two rolls. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. NADA RECOMENDABLE.
Xabier ( — Google review
(Translated by Google) The wait time was horrible once we were seated at the table, and the prices were high for the quantity/quality served. The beef steak was a miserable piece of meat with pre-frozen potatoes. The roast ham was passable but had too much sauce and the same pre-frozen fries. The pizza, although large, lacked tomato and was bland, lacking in taste after waiting so long for it that the rest of us had to eat, and it wasn't brought out until the end. Tired of waiting and the poor service, as we had to repeat our order several times, we asked for a coffee and the bill, and again, we had to wait an eternity to have to repeat our coffee order. If you need to go to the bathroom, you either go to the pay one across the street where the market is, or ask for a "key" where you're going to eat and go up to another floor where there's a barrier that gets stuck and doesn't open the first time. The toilet has no lid and an unhygienic toilet, and the doors in the men's room don't even close. I know part of the blame lies with the guests because some people don't know how to behave outside their homes, but part also lies with the community. Every establishment should have its own and maintain it because we know how communities work. P.S. I didn't take photos of the food because I was embarrassed.
Sakura N — Google review
(Translated by Google) The rest of the food hasn't arrived yet, but I feel compelled to write this review since we ordered a plate of mussels, which, for the price, was outrageous! The only good thing that actually offered value for money was the seafood croquettes. The actual mussels came in a whopping five. Disgusting! Also, there were a lot of people.

(Translated by Google) The service from the waiters could have been VERY much improved. My partner and I went for lunch. We asked for a table on the terrace, but the waiter told us they didn't have one and that we had to go inside. And when they were setting the tablecloth for us, not even two minutes had passed since we arrived, and they seated two couples outside, preparing and clearing their tables. I would have left the table as it was and left, if it weren't for the poor waiter, who didn't even know where to hide when we told him about the terrible MISTAKE. As for the food? Nothing more. You have better places at BETTER prices (because they rip you off too).

(Translated by Google) We tried this new restaurant in La Toja, but unfortunately we don't think we will return. The restaurant is well decorated, we were very comfortable because there were not many people and the service was friendly, but the food disappointed us. We ordered: “Marqués” Homemade Salad, which seemed very normal to us; Beef Croquettes (8 in the portion), which did not have a beef flavor, but rather a spice reminiscent of curry; Betanzos-style omelette, without a doubt the biggest disappointment, since the egg and potato were not well integrated and the result was a French omelette with potatoes (nothing special) inside; Squid with Encebollados, very delicious; and Chestnut Pork Raxo, which although it was rich in flavor, for our taste was a little dry, with a lack of peppers and not at all juicy compared to other raxo dishes that they serve in restaurants in the area. We had 5 people for dinner and, although the portions are not particularly large, we were fine with what we ordered. What we loved was the bread they gave us, which was delicious. Total 🟰 116,8€

This place is incredible! I have to say, that I did not expect that when we first came in, but I got proven wrong. The food was absolutely amazing and there are many options to choose from. The prices are very normal, so its not too expensive. The atmosphere of the bar is very good, even though not completely my preference. But from an objective point of view quite nice. And now I will talk about the absolute highlight of this place, wich is the service! I seldom have felt this positive and good after eating out. The owner was very friendly, helpful and nice. Since he found out I dont speak spanish (my companion did though) he did his best to speak enlish to me and at the end (since he found out that I am from Germany) said goodbye in my native language. I really apreciate this kind of service and closeness. Thank you very much for that experience! I cannot remommend this place enough!

(Translated by Google) Very unpleasant. I don't think I'll be back. I was at Bar Ixo (La Toja) yesterday and my experience was terrible. We arrived at 10:10 p.m., and at first, everything seemed fine. We were served by a very friendly waitress, whom I asked if we could get a snack. She said yes without a problem, brought us the menu, and we took our order. There were only three tables occupied, so it didn't seem busy. After 35 minutes without receiving our food, I politely asked if they knew how much longer it would take. The response left me speechless: they told me that since everything is made "from scratch," they had to peel and cook the potatoes for the lacón con grelos I ordered. Still, I appreciated the response and decided to wait without complaining. Five minutes later, my husband's and son's plates arrived. I told them to start eating so they wouldn't get cold. And then the worst happened: I overheard the bar owner talking about us with another regular, laughing and saying that he can't stand people in a hurry, and that "now he was really going to make me wait." All of this just five meters from our table. Since my family had already finished dinner by 11:10 p.m. and I still hadn't received my plate, I decided to get up and ask for the bill. To top it all off, they wanted to charge me for the lacón con grelos (pork loin with turnip greens), which was never served. I respectfully explained the situation, and he eventually rectified his decision. But his attitude was incredibly rude, even insinuating that "this is a bar, not a restaurant," and clearly showing signs of having been drinking. In the end, he told me he didn't care if I didn't come back. And indeed, I won't be back. This place thrives on its summer regulars and doesn't seem to have any interest in treating those of us who come from out of town well. It's a shame, because the place has no charm whatsoever: just an ordinary bar in a shopping center, with shabby service that doesn't justify its supposed reputation. My experience was certainly nothing like the good reviews I'd read before. (Original) Muy desagradable. No pienso volver. Y efectivamente, no volveré.

(Translated by Google) Disgraceful is the word that best describes the waiter's attitude and professionalism. It took 45 minutes for a salad to be served, and 35 minutes for a sandwich. And if that weren't enough, I politely said we had to catch a bus, hence the rush, and he replied, "I should have gone to a Burger King." At the same time, he invited me to leave if I was in such a hurry. There were seven of us, and as you can see in the photo, I hadn't even started yet. Anyway, he was completely taken. A customer service course wouldn't hurt.

We sat down, and he told us he could only serve us one empanada because a reservation for a larger table was arriving in two minutes, and until that reservation arrived and the food was cooked for them, we wouldn't be served anything. I repeat, the restaurant was completely EMPTY. The manager told us this was their way of working, and if we wanted to eat, we'd have to wait a long time for these people to arrive and be served. We left. We were in the restaurant next to that one, and 20 minutes later, we saw that absolutely no one had arrived yet. Hilarious, the worst service I've ever seen.

With its focus on high-quality local ingredients, diners can indulge in exquisite dishes while enjoying breathtaking views of the Ria. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine list and creates a unique atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting.
Delicious food with an incredible view. If you’re lucky enough to get a table by the window, you’re in for a treat. The food was great. Croquetas were very flavoursome and with the right consistency. The octopus we cooked to perfection and the fillet steak as well. To finish up the cheesecake is silky and the milhojas was perfectly crisp with the cream in great quantity. Overall. 10/10. Oh and the staff, polite, well trained and always with a smile. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

Outstanding food. Seafood was extremely fresh. We ordered a seafood platter 65€ each which included wine, dessert, water, bread, coffee. It would have got five stars but we booked in advance and were given a table near the entrance and not near a windows that had views of the sea. When questioned we were told they were fully booked but tables were still empty when we left.

There are few things that make a restaurant perfect: food, service, and the environment. Punta Vendaval have all of them. The food is delicious, with quality local ingredients, the service is excellent and the view is incredible. We dinner several times in our stay at the hotel and we will back for more.

The place is overrated and overpriced. The food was fine but mediocre. It is the first restaurant in Spain we have been to where chupitos were not in the house, which greatly disappointed us. Especially considering the prices and the assumed status of restaurant. I would not recommend to dine in there.

(Translated by Google) It's a luxury restaurant, and you pay for it. The service was correct and friendly, the location very nice, with plenty of space between tables and no music or distractions like a TV. The food was cooked to perfection, and the ingredients were of good quality, quite fresh, although the seafood was a bit small for the super price. €140 for two people might be a bit of a rip-off. It's been a while since I've had a seafood grill, and I don't know what the prices are, but €70 per person did seem a bit steep. However, we have to admit that the grilled food was incredibly delicious, perfectly grilled, and the amount seemed adequate. The shrimp cake appetizer was very juicy, and the warm vegetable and citrus salad had a dressing that would have made you dip bread and go crazy. The selection of pastries was also juicy and just the right amount. It's a treat to eat in a restaurant like this, at least for me, and every now and then you have to treat yourself, right?

The Eurostars Gran Hotel La Toja is a stylish retreat located on the enchanting La Toja Island, renowned for its historic charm and luxurious amenities. This exquisite hotel features two delightful restaurants and a cozy bar, alongside an inviting outdoor pool, a well-equipped gym, and a rejuvenating spa. Guests are captivated by the serene atmosphere created by its stunning estuary views, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
Took my wife and three kids to this hotel for a wedding, do you like it so much we ended up extending our stay for another 2 days. The staff, location, and overall experience was amazing. If you’re going to go, you absolutely need to reserve a spot for the indoor spa. $20 for 90 min access to a ton of extra amenities.

Beautiful location with historic charm, clean rooms, and excellent facilities. At around €400 per night, the price feels fair for what you get, and by Galician standards the quality is still very good. The spa treatment was 10/10, and all staff were friendly — especially the gentleman at breakfast with his old-school 5-star welcome, and the helpful checkout receptionist. A few details could be improved: at check-in my 84-year-old parents were left standing with no seat or drink offered, luggage help only came after asking, and the “sea view plus with thermal club” room had no balcony despite being told it would. Rooms weren’t side by side as implied, our keys had to be reprogrammed, only one bottle of water was provided, no coffee capsules in one room, no poolside service, and breakfast lacked champagne, menu, and à la carte dishes. The spa lift was out of order and there were minor maintenance issues (rust, broken lights). Still, for the location, charm, and friendliness of the staff, this hotel offers a high standard for Galicia. With clearer booking info, more consistent service, and small upgrades, it could be truly exceptional.

I want to give special mention to Pepe and Jaime, from the restaurant's dinner service, for their attention and kindness. They were especially attentive to me, as I suffer from multiple food allergies, and were able to adapt the menu whenever necessary. The stay was magnificent. The hotel stands out for its impeccable facilities and services. The room, very beautiful and comfortable, featured unusual but highly appreciated details, such as the hairdryer with diffuser and the vertical iron: it's the first time I've found them in a hotel. Everything was extremely clean. The hotel's air freshener, homemade according to what they told us, added a very pleasant touch. The breakfast buffet was simply wonderful. The quality and variety of products were outstanding, all with sea views. Having breakfast like this is a true pleasure! The spa treatments were very varied, and the facilities were very comfortable to enjoy. An experience that I will definitely repeat and recommend. (Original) ¡Magnifica experiencia!

(Translated by Google) We went to check out the hotel, famous in the area and steeped in history. We spent just one night and took the opportunity to go to the spa and get a treatment. We had a good time; it has the character of the grand old 5-star hotels. They let us use the pool after checkout without any problem. The treatments were fine (we did the "Thermal Relaxation" package I saw on their website, as we wanted something that combined a massage and a salt bath). It was fine for the experience, although we might not repeat it. I'm surprised they didn't recommend it at the spa, given that I called several times; I got the impression they weren't very familiar with what they offer. The breakfast was truly amazing. NOTE: the cleanliness: the room carpet was stained in different shapes, colors, and sizes... cobwebs everywhere you looked. Dust everywhere, even on the nightstand and in the closet (which are used daily?). The spa pool was slippery from the dirt inside. Half of the jets and buttons didn't work properly, and the ones that did were barely noticeable, except for one swan-neck jet, which was so powerful you couldn't even get under it without getting the whole room wet (I think it was a bit broken). It's a hotel that was and is renowned, but it needs renovations now, and if not, the price should be adjusted to what's offered... We also saw guests being shown the hotel and the facilities, which we weren't even offered. We went investigating ourselves, opening doors almost at random. Be aware that after 7-8 p.m., the outdoor bar is no longer open, and you can only get a drink at an interior bar, which is a bit overwhelming in the middle of summer! It's a shame that the terrace isn't used; it has a bar set up, but it doesn't seem to be used. In short, we didn't feel comfortable or "at home." For the price we paid, we expected something else. I got the impression that many of the guests are longtime guests, who have been there with their families for years, and are fond of the hotel, but it clearly needs to be updated.

However, I'd like to make one important suggestion: there's no bar in the pool area, and I think it would be a great idea to add one. We spent the afternoon enjoying the pool and sun loungers, but we were eager to have a drink or a snack without having to get dressed and go upstairs. In a hotel of this caliber, having a pool bar would be the most logical and convenient option for guests. Even so, the experience was excellent, and we'll definitely be back. It is unfair to sell dishes which are not on the card as catch of the day, and not tell the prices in advance. I understand as a client one can ask too, but prices on the card are deliberately misleading (35 euro) and the catch of the day is 60 euro for the zalm and 160 euro (!) for another fish (for 2 persons). Tell the price in advance and I probably experienced a luxurious meal, now I feel a stupid scammed tourist.

(Translated by Google) Disappointing and exorbitant price. The place is very beautiful and the views depend on the table as well. The correct service and the timings too. The worst thing without a doubt is the lack of elaboration of the dishes and the exorbitant prices. Steak at €100 per kilo or in our case sea bream at €120 per piece for 2, we are talking about grilled fish as it is, cold and poorly done inside, with 4 potatoes and you'll figure it out yourself. All the food we ordered was really delicious, especially the burgers. The patty was thick, tender and savoury. After our meals, it was really nice to just sit, relax and chat over a nice coffee, the atmosphere was just so relaxed and comfortable. Service was wonderful with one of the friendly twin sisters taking our orders. We had a nice chat with her recommending her favourite restaurants around that area. If i was a resident of O grove, this would be the place i would chill out every weekend for brunch with my friends. Toilet is located at the second floor shared with other tenants in that area.

We found this lovely location during a summer visit to the area. I still dream about the tomato salad. It’s a perfect place for all food preferences.

It was a pleasure to visit this cafe. The food is very diverse and can suit people with different tastes. Our favorites were the salad, caramel ice cream, and anchovy toast. The ambience is very cozy

(Translated by Google) A modern-style cafe where you can order ice cream. They offer a variety of ice cream from the local brand, Bico. You can also have breakfast or a snack, and they have a variety of food and coffees, both hot and cold. The cappuccino was very good and well made. I also tried an oatmeal, and it was very tasty. I was surprised and highly recommended. They also gave me a cookie with my coffee, which is appreciated, a nice touch. The service was good, and they were friendly.
