This restaurant has beautiful settings very close to the sea (less than 10 meters from sea). Food was very fresh and tasty! Plenty of parking but you may have to walk a little. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area 😁

Stayed 8 nights on Lourdas beach and this was the absolute best taverna we went to. Service was absolutely professional/warm/friendly. The food was fantastic (mix grill one of the best I’ve had anywhere). It is very obvious that this is a family run business.

A lovely traditional Greek taverna next to the sea shore. The grilled sea bass was fantastic and they even offered Whispering Angel. Thoroughly recommend but dont forget to make a reservation first.

A nice location near the sea. A traditional tavern who cover all the requests. The atmosphere is nice with music in backgroud and the green garden near. The food is fresh and well prepared. I recommend for thode who are in this area. For diner you need reservation due to a large number of costumers. The prices are normal and corect ones. They offered as at the end one digestive and slices of watermelon from the house!

We stopped for a late lunch and the food here is absolutely fantastic, the location is beautiful - right on the sea front, under grass umbrellas, the service was excellent. This is a perfect spot, highly recommended

A beautiful setting opposite the beach. Blue & white tables, vines and geraniums….. stunning! Perfect for watching the sunset, or the lights on Zante start to twinkle at night. The meals are delicious - good range of food from the grill, traditional Greek food and fresh seafood. They are also excellent at offering to adapt meals for food allergies, or vegetarian dishes. Super welcoming staff in a great atmosphere. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Lourdas.

The best food I had on the island. The mousaka was great, the spicy chicken was spicey and delicios.

Relive Mama Mia at this totally authentic fish restaurant with lovely views. Book and come once the sun is sets. Grilled fish is what to have and in many cases enough to share between two. Blue chairs and wonderful fish is what to expect. Service a bit show but, you are on holiday so relax ! Enjoy

We had a lovely meal here, it was nice to find a restaurant with lots of fish on the menu. We booked and managed to get a beachfront table with wonderful sea front views over the harbour. My sea bass was lovely, as was the skordalia!!

The nicest cheese with sesame seeds and honey we have ever had in Greece. Great stuffed peppers with cheese too. Unfortunately some of the staff were a little bit rude, but I will put that down to the fact that they were busy and it was hot.

Absolutely stunning view next to the seafront. Staffs are friendly. It might seem expensive on the menu, as the main thing they do is grill seafood. You can also order a few starter (like a tapas) for a slight bargain dinner. We ordered fried calamari and fried anchovy, absolutely fresh and tasty. Pork souvlaki is very tender, vegetable is very fresh (they claim to source locally). At the end they also give ice cream as compliment.

This must be the tipical Greek taverna for me. The scenery is amazing, the athmosphere also. Very good service, very good food. Big surprise- we got discount each time without even asking and free desert ( icecream). Prices are also very good.

Generous portions and tasty seafood - fish filets… (stay away from the tuna), fair prices and nice authentic vibe with greek music and lovely beach views.

Lovely garden bar, part way up the hill from the beach. Owners lovely people, happy to chat. Visited a couple of times for cocktails, great, but very quiet. Great for us, not so much for the owners. Definitely worth a visit, good value too.

I can not rate this cafe high enough . Such wonderful hospitality from a very attentive and friendly host . The Meze board is to die for ! 6 euros for one. She brings iced water and crisps and I got a free ice cream . I felt so welcome x

Great breakfast in beautifully maintained gardens. The €12 'Special' is really good value. Also a very convenient stopping off point on the walk up/down from Vlachata to Lourdas beach.

We had our wedding here. It was amazing. Annie and Kostas were organized and covered everything for us from start to finish, making the day perfect. The wedding package included pretty much everything: the venue, the photography (which was outstanding), the food, the bar, dj and Greek band which made the whole experience pretty stress free. The set up was great, the food was unbelievable and the views from the venue were even better. I wholeheartedly recommend them as place to get married or as a venue for a special meal. 6 stars out of 5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely dinner here when on Holiday this week at Andromeda. Its located at the top of a steep hill which we managed to climb but it's fine if you have a car. The views of Kefalonia are incredible while having dinner. The setting was stunning really chilled and i loved the fairy lights. The staff were super friendly and chatty. Our food was delicious and I would highly recommend coming here for dinner if your in the Lourdas area of Kefaolina. 10/10

It was a 1a experience at the Andromeda Center! The service is very nice and polite, the food is amazing and the location with the view and sunset first class! My favorite restaurant in Kefalonia and totally one of the best wedding spots!

Attended the Greek night which was an all you could eat buffet. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the views were stunning. Evening entertainment was very authentic to the Greek style and so was the food. Only reason I won't rate 5 * is that the food after about 10 mins was swarmed by wasps, felt like it should have been kept indoors.

The food was delicious, the view is amazing, the service very warm and attentive, the owner Kostas is very friendly. Everything was excellent.

We ate here nearly everyday of our vacation because it was so good. The Service is very friendly and the view of the beach very nice. Also the Prices are very fair for the good Quality you get. They even have a Garden beside the Restaurant where they grow some of their ingredients. Special Recommendation from us is the Sea Bass Filet which was one of the best fish we ever had. Also the Cheesecake dessert is very good.

Always booked - tells a story ! Excellent food, service and value in a business that is not looking for maximum sitting per table. We spent more on a very good lunch the next day! If I knew what I know now - we would have saved money and would have probably rated every meal out five star. If tempted do not hesitate to - book for when you can.

An excellent meal, welcoming hosts, service superb, despite being full! Was told 1/2 hour for Sea Bass, it was more like 20mins, brilliant! Chicken special as recommended by the owner was superb, melt in the mouth. Homemade cherry cheesecake for dessert, fabulous. This is Greek food cooked with the care and love of a Greek chef, clearly they want you to come back, we certainly will!

Traditional Greek. We ate in the evening and the food and service was excellent. They close a little earlier than some in lourdas so worth going a bit early or booking. If you come too late, some options may not be available but they will always have a great alternative.

Found the waiter/owner to be quite rude. He was very nice and joking with other diners (just not the solo ones). I tipped but he acted like I hadn’t, no goodbye, thanks or anything. Shame.

This isn’t just a meal, it’s a piece of a 40-year-old family tradition, and you can truly feel the love and history in every bite. We've been Lourdata for 13 nights so far. We've eaten at Dionysos three times and will be going there for our last meal on kefalonia tomorrow because it's that good. Stavros and his family have looked after us perfectly. The food is amazing, the service is great and the love is everywhere. Don't hesitate to go here if you're in the area. And the lamb chops are too die for.

This is a family run taverna and the food is "home cooking". Nothing fancy but certainly tasty (for the most part), neatly presented, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. We ate in here two or three times and had takeaways three times if that proves we were very happy there. We were always attended to by Dimitrios the son. What a lovely, lovely guy. So genuinely helpful, always smiling, friendly, engaging...he is a wonderful young man. When first ordering we explained that one of our kids was a coeliac and in consultation with "Mama" they were always able to make recommendations or adaptions. For the record, their chips are not GF. Anyway, we have had Chicken Gyros and Souvlaki as take-aways. When seated for dining in the restaurant, Dimitrios would flit around serving everyone and even though things were never quick, we were never forgotten nor made to wait an inordinate amount of time. Just relax and sit in the calming atmosphere listening to the background music. There is an outdoor dining area of back but this was not being used by the time we arrived on the island. We have ordered fried zucchini (courgettes) (tasty) grilled chicken (perfect), Souvlaki (perfect), Beef Stifado (delicious and tender), lamb chops (I think cooked well done instead of medium rare but tasty nonetheless), a Beef Sofigado (not our favourite) and really the only disappointments were the two fish dishes we tried - The cod fish with garlic mashed potatoes where the potato was amazing but the fish (cubes) was overcooked and salty whilst the fried sole fillet was actually stripped off the bone and coated with batter and was again overcooked and salty. That being said, overall we were very happy with the VFM and the general quality and cleanliness and of course the fantastic service. Finally, the baklava was HUGE (couldn't finish mine), different to others we have had and well worth the price of admission.

Highly recommend! This is the one place during the early season that you can get gyros and its absolutely delicious!! The server Stavros was so fun and accommodating! We went back a second time for the service and delicious food! Other restaurants in Lourdata actually recommended we go there!

Lovely typically Greek restaurant - we ordered pizza to take away as we happened to have a really lovely view from our balcony and wanted to sit there and eat. Well the pizzas are enormous!! We gave one away to our neighbours on the next balcony so we all enjoyed excellent pizza for dinner. Waiter super nice and helpful and we had a beer in the courtyard garden whilst waiting. I’d eat here again!

Felt really sorry for the poor waiter, completely overwhelmed. Maybe short staffed or some other issues, waiting for ordering 30mins, food took a while but was OK. If only we had been told there were issues and there would be delays etc then that would have been OK. Saw one couple drink half litre of wine and large beer and got fed up and just left without paying.....2 mins later, the food arrived for their empty table. Shame as the guy serving was trying his best.

A very quiet place to go for dinner, with a superb view over the sea and delicious food options. We came here initially just for some appetizers and beer, but loved the place so much that we returned for dinner. They serve various dishes, including meat, seafood, salads, pasta etc. The serving is prompt and the waiter is chatty, making you feel welcomed.

Great restaurant serving Greek specials with an incredible view! We went there twice and were not disappointed. The seafood was fresh and the plate for two was huge! Souvlaki and kefalonian meat pie were really nice too! Tasty house wine! The atmosphere was great, sitting at the restaurant at the sunset was my favorite thing to do!

Lovely little taverna at the end of the main beach area. Good food and service. Really friendly and some of the best prices. The grand mother is a star and the sarcasm is free with each meal or drink she serves! Top tip. They do a fantastic gyros! Eat in or takeout to sit on the beach and enjoy.

Recently stayed in Loudas. Found this fabulous Taverna. Typically Greek atmosphere. Friendly accommodating staff. Food brilliant. Freshly cooked. Theo & Maria were so welcoming. You may have to wait a little while for your food but when it comes you will not be disappointed. Till next year team......we will be back. Dave & Sany

Friendly, attentive staff - we were served on both our visits by a lovely older lady. The food was tasty and freshly cooked, and we found it good value for money.

We had the seabass with rice and salad and also peppers stuffed with Gouda and feta cheese - all very tasty! Staff were very friendly and as previously mentioned in other reviews there's a nice view of the sunset by the sea! Only real negative was the constant wasps buzzing round the table whilst trying to eat, but this is obviously not the restaurants fault! All in all was happy overall!

My favorite place in Lourdata at the beach. Timmy, one of the owner's adult sons, is just one of the sweetest people in the restaurant business on Kefalonia. I have consistently had attentive service and lovely food and drinks. It is nice to sit a bit in the back in order to enjoy their blooming plants. I love the Blue Sea salad, all finely diced and cubed. So good! Parking right on the side of the building is very cool. I hope to see you all again soon. Be well until then!

Food not up to the standard of what one may expect in Greece. Risotto with shrimps in tomato sauce was prepared with whole shrimps that seemed not cleaned, as some dark liquid ran out if them when cut. linguine napoletana made of cooked pasta with some sauce on top and not that cooking of pasta was finished in sauce

This is a cool place for dinner, cozy music and smiling staff, See food is a must here along with grilled meat if you are a fan. We spent 3 hours, and you can not be bored, sea view, you can even hear the waves 🌊 Highly recommend 🥰😍

Cleanliness here is next-level, and they've got the freshest, locally sourced, top-notch grub. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Their warmth and welcoming demeanor make you feel like a part of their family, always ready to greet you with a smile that matches the sunny atmosphere! I spent an entire day here, just soaking up the good vibes and relaxation. It was perfect!

Just one of the most wholesome place on the Island. Great little family owned resto-bar on a beach. Don’t come for the beach though - come for the family who owns its sunset. They do great food and great jokes too, and speaks plenty of languages 🥳

Spent a few days at the beach used there sunbeds €8 next door charge €12 had a breakfast very nice, lunch and couple of times as well coffees soft drinks and beers, no complaints all was very nice, and a great bunch of people very friendly and helpful, loved it, would definitely recommend this bar xx

My family and I arrived at around 10:00am and we sat down then ordered after a little wait . Everything seemed fine but then it took about half an hour for the rest of my family’s food to come. But mine hadn’t arrived so we’d assume it would be there soon however that wasn’t the case. Soon after we saw the waiter have a slight go at the chef as he hadn’t even began to cook my food as he had completely forgotten. After another frustrating 15 mins my food arrived. I tried not to be bias due to the wait but the food was still average and nothing to rave about. Also the waiters were smoking at the bar and looked very disinterested.

Wonderful dining experience at this elegant and welcoming restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the prawns and marinated gavros, both incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The prawns are a must-try if you are a seafood lover! Lorraine was so kind and even treated us with a generous dessert on the house. Highly recommended for both the food and the warm hospitality

Excellent service and outstanding cuisine! My partner and I stayed at Lorraine’s Apartments and had the pleasure of dining at her restaurant a few times during our stay. From Lorraine herself to her wonderful family and staff, we were treated like royalty with warm, attentive service every time. The food was exceptional—every meal was a true culinary delight that made our time in Kefalonia even more special. We highly recommend Lorraine’s for an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful dining experience my wife & I had at Lorraine's. We wanted some where nice to celebrate our 16th Wedding Anniversary, and we weren't disappointed. From start to finish, the whole experience was superb 👌 The waitresses were excellent with fab Customer Service skills, Lorraine herself was warm and welcoming. We were given two glasses of fizz, some hand picked flowers, and a dessert...all on the house to say "Happy Anniversary", WOW !! Oh, the food weren't too bad either....it was sensational. We had the pleasure of eating at Lorraine’s twice in a week, from the moment we walked into the restaurant we felt very welcomed and was met both times with a lovely smile. After looking at the menu we were both undecided on what to order, Lorraine came to the rescue and went through the menu with us explaining everything about what each meal was and what ingredients went into them which was a great help to us. Everything we chose on both nights were so nice , full of flavour and the portions were plentiful. The views were amazing and the sunsets were just lovely. The staff are really good and nothing was too much for them, attention to detail and their mannerisms were just amazing. You will not come away disappointed with this place. We can’t wait to eat there next year on our next visit. Unfortunately we did not take too many photographs of the food but believe me the food is amazing.

We ate at Lorraine’s Magic Hill and it was 5 stars, however we then went to Lorraine’s by the beach, which is a beach bar along the beach front, and we were slightly disappointed. We ordered two drinks, a burger and a Caesar salad, all of which was average and no where near the quality you would expect from the brand. The food and drinks were all served in plastic bowls and cups, which you wouldn’t expect from sitting in a restaurant. They also had no spinach to make the smoothies, and the lettuce in the salad was brown, appearing it was heavily pre made. Whilst we were in there, a waitress/friend had her bare feet laying out on the table, smoking which ruined the feel for us ! Comparing this beach bar to the others along the front, whilst it has potential, it was drastically more expensive and not to the same standard, they don’t have a cooking license, so there’s not a big menu, no option of chips or larger meals etc, when asked how our meal was, the waiter was a little defensive. This is newly open so hopefully some of this is teething issues !

Lorraine is simply a gem! l mean both the owner and the restaurant. The food here is just sublime, original and full of flavour. Locally sourced ingredients cooked with love and attention, to perfection 👌. Service is attentive but not overbearing and Lorraine and her girls are so so lovely. A must visit if in Kefalonia. It's a diamond of a place - do reserve!

The best traditional greek food in the area. not only is the food amazing but the service is incredible. Lorraine personally made sure that we saw the passion behind her food, explaining where and how the meat, fish, vegetables and feta were brought to table, the history of her restaurant and the speciality dishes she recommends. A simple yet excellent menu with fresh flavours at the forefront of each dish. If you are looking for a sunset dinner with great greek food, Lorraine’s is the place to go.

My wife is Coeliac, and so inquired about Gluten free options. Absolutely no problem. Both our starters and mains were superb. Absolutely delicious. Would come back here in a heartbeat. Will definitely recommend to others.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Wasn't impressed by the food. Also being swarmed by wasps. There was no music or atmosphere but a lovely view of the sea. Was a bit disappointed by the food as we had heard good reviews of this place.

Amazing place to eat wish we went to eat there everyday, staff are amazing and food tasted amazing too. When we were having our meal someone outside on the street collapsed and all the staff rushed to help gave them cushions and water and phone the ambulance they all cared deeply about the person but also maintained an amazing level of customer service. There are always cats in Greece, that is normal. This place was overun with cats, one had a huge open bloody wound on its neck. They were fighting and hissing at each other under our table. The food was okay. The infestation of non fixed cats ruined the experience for me.

Overall we felt that this restaurant belonged to the past. The food was acceptable, nothing special, in fact it is definitely not what we have been used to eating in Cephalonia. The service was fine, the atmosphere was nice. We visited the place at the peak hour for the wasps and we were surprised that only some tables had been given a device to keep them away. What also surprised me was that at the end they only brought a treat for our son. It was nice as a gesture but usually if there is a treat, ice cream in this case, I believe that everyone on the table should get one.

This shared top spot with La Mer in our choices. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. The lamb kleftiko was the best we tasted. The garlic prawns to start was also excellent.

As we’re renting a villa nearby, Zorbas has been a really handy place to drop in for coffee, a beer, and lunch- especially as it’s on the walk to the supermarket. We’re planning to have an evening meal later in the week. They open for breakfast too. The owner is always very polite and chatty, with speedy service. The terrace outside is great for watching the world go by, or plenty space indoors too if you prefer. If you’re looking for car or quad bike hire, they also offer this service.

Great spot with a diverse menu and surprisingly fast service. The food was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Prices are very reasonable, and the complimentary dessert at the end was a lovely touch.

This is a really good restaurant with a good atmosphere. The tzatziki is one of our favorite that we tasted on the island. Also it have quite a large choice of typical Greek dishes. We went there 3 times and it was always really good especially for the price. Very polite and kind people.

Came here for a late dinner after a beach day. Who we assumed was the owner, was very welcoming and seated us. We were served efficiently. Owner made a point of chatting with us about our holiday which was nice. Pork gyros were the best I’ve had in Kefalonia. It was fresh, tasty and very generously portioned. Despite being the last table at 11:20, with a closing time of 11:30, we did not feel rushed and staff waited for us to request the bill. We were given complimentary watermelon as we received the bill. Priced well and affordable. Only criticism would be that the Alfa beer bottle, is in fact a can and not a bottle.

Fantastic time in Kefalonia. We ate at Captain Zorbas most afternoons and evenings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food selection was great. Staff literally couldn't do enough to help us especially Thomas going to the local supermarket to get my cider when they'd run out. We didn't have a bad meal during our week-long stay. Customer service is 2nd to none with complimentary watermelon/crepes or even wine. Our last night we asked for a special meal of seafood and they provided. It was no trouble for them whatsoever(photo included). I cannot recommend Captain Zorbas highly enough, it was an absolute pleasure to spend time in their establishment. They have a pool close by which we used most days with sunbeds provided. They even provide other services should you need anything during your stay.

If you’re staying in Lourdas / Lourdata this place is definitely worth a visit. A small menu with market and seasonal options including beef, lamb, fish and vegetarian dishes proves to be a strong point. Very friendly service and good value drinks make this a super option and a change from all the tavernas along the front.

It was the best food we had in our holidays in kefalonia by far. The bream was outstanding and the prawns very delicious. The service was very kind and the prices good. We ordered two shots of ouzo and we got literally a full highball of ouzo. Thank you!

We visited here on our first night in lourdas and returned a couple more times. Proper home cooked greek food with daily specials. Service was friendly and attentive, but I do recommend you book, especially in high season Ps the orange pie was to die for!!

This is honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The service is incredible, and the food is outstanding. The pork & honey dish is one of my favourite ever meals, and the creamy chicken is also delicious. We went to Liza’s with our 11 month old baby and they were so accommodating and friendly - can highly recommend this place, so authentic, warm, friendly and so so delicious. I only have a pic of our starters! But honestly you have to try the pork if you go - it’s a show stopper. The orange cake is also incredible. We will be back next year 100%

After a delayed flight at 10pm despite the fact they were close to closing they greeted us warmly and fed us. Due to the time we went with a Greek salad and a couple of appetisers. It was incredible and so fresh. We can’t wait to go back at a decent hour and sample the mains before we go home. The epitome of Greek hospitality for two very tired travellers after a long day. The best experience of our stay, the food was impeccable, that homemade homecooked slant which you can't beat! We went twice and Hariklia serving was brilliant in every way but then we met Liza who is simply amazing with her faultless cooking and everything we ate was perfect 👏💯🔥 Cannot emphasize enough how tasty and so well cooked everything we ordered was, it hit the spot. That was the worse steak I have ever had, the lamb chops were also very bland and tuff and the chicken was very dry. On the plus the moussaka was good and the server was very polite and friendly, the starters were also good but because the meats, especially the steak was that bad I'm leaving a 1 star review

Lovely staff, great food. We were really impressed with our food, and coffees. Staff were helpful explaining the specials when we asked and kind people. We also purchased drinks here throughout the day as on the sunbeds and found the prices extremely reasonable. Also- the waitress helped us with wasps, providing burning coffee without us even asking- then 0 wasps, an instant fix. Many thanks and we really do recommend!

Called and booked around half 9 in the evening for a table at short notice and was accomdated. We ordered the seafood platter for two, which came with a seabass, moussels, calamari, sardines and prawns - it was perfect, fresh and tasty! Staff were friendly and restaurant had a nice atmosphere - not too loud! Would definitely return :).

Have visited twice so far on our trip. Excellent food both times. I’ve had the shrimps and the lamb chops both with a Greek salad. Very child friendly too with the waitress very smiley and accommodating. Good English spoken. Highly recommended.

Just had lamb Kleftiko and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been coming to the Greek islands for the last 40 odd years and no other Kleftiko has beat this one. The staff in here are amazing warm welcoming and friendly. You should definitely try this place

The two girls that served us were lovely very attentive and friendly. The food is such good value and freshly cooked to order. I loved the mushroom risotto and the beef steaks. We ate here several times whilst on holiday. Highly recommended.

Nice views Shame about very drunk couple sat behind us last night constantly swearing and being a total nuisance Don’t understand why when they asked for more whiskey and vodka you kept serving Won’t be visiting again Apart from that chicken very over cooked and vine leafs served as starter still very cold along with potatoes very over cooked and solid
