Great place to stop into after the tulips. Crazy busy even on a weekday, but our party of 7 still only had to wait around a half hour. My avocado got a little brown before it even got to me. Presentation could have been cleaned up, but the chicken was thick and juicy and pesto and foccacia amazing. All the food was delicious, bakery looks incredible and they do allow to go orders if you want to sit outside and eat your to go order.

I had an opportunity to eat at the Calico Cupboard today and jumped at it. When I walked inside I found a sign over a book that asked diners to sign in. Shortly after I signed in a hostess walked up and led me to a table that was under a skylight. The hostess handed a menu to me and took my drink order. I asked for an “Arnold Palmer” and was surprised when I took a sip and tasted peaches. It would seem that Peach tea was used. Shortly after, a server walked up to take my order. I selected the Pulled Pork Hash w/2 fried eggs on top. I asked for over-easy eggs, but got over-medium. Oh well, it was still delicious! For dessert I asked for a slice of Peanut Butter Pie to go. Overall I was very pleased with my decision to eat at Calico Cupboard. The staff was pleasant and professional. The food was plentiful and delicious.

This place is fantastic! The service is amazing, and the food is incredible. The restaurant is quite large, but it was quite crowded when we went for lunch. However, it was worth the wait. The coffee and tacos were especially very very good. Would definitely recommend.

This is a must stop café. It’s such a warm friendly environment with a view of what your food experience is gonna be like at the front counter displaying dozens of wonderful bakery items. They have an extensive coffee bar people seem to come in and grab their bakery items and coffee to go. This is our second visit here and it was absolutely wonderful. We stopped for breakfast on our way to the hospital for surgery on my knee. So I got mine to go, which is one of the pictures I uploaded. Something that stands out here more than other Breakfast restaurants is their side of fruit is not just some melon thrown together, but in an arrangement of citrus, pineapple, and apples. Very inviting and very pallet cleansing. The weight staff is friendly and very well trained. They take care of even the smallest of needs.

Cozy rustic restaurant, cafe and retail area I ordered the Bacon Lettuce Tomato Avocado My child ordered the cinnamon roll from the Kids Menu, and it was the regular full size cinnamon roll! I thought it was going to be a smaller portion but it was not. LOL

Lots of hungry people! The place was buzzing. Got seated with my choice of inside or outside fairly quickly. Waiter was right there for my order. Food came out hot and yummy!

Recently we stayed in Mount Vernon. Of course we needed to eat breakfast. Found the Calico Cupboard online and based on reviews it seemed like a good spot.. Overall it was an enjoyable place to eat breakfast. First of our server was friendly and generous with the coffee. Our cups were never empty. The restaurant was busy and our server had a good sized area to cover. I noticed she was able to serve everyone efficiently and spent time chatting with everyone. Love this! The food was fine. Nothing amazing. Not the best breakfast I have ever had. I was not expecting that. Portions were generous and looked appealing when we were served. My wife mentioned her eggs were a bit too runny for her preference. My omelet was very good. The restaurant is loud. Personally I find it difficult to hear when my wife is talking in a loud restaurant. This may not be an issue for you. The decor is nice and I like the exposed brick walls. The bakery case looks great. We picked up a couple of items to go.

Il Granaio Authentic Italian was a delicious spot right next to the train station in Mt. Vernon. I wish we had longer to eat because all the food coming out looked great. The Caesar salad and butternut squash bisque were excellent. Thanks Elizabeth for making our quick dinner enjoyable!

Good dinner of clams and mussels in red sauce, frutti di mare linguine. Tomato soup was delicious! Flavors were good, all fresh with herbs. Had a great attentive, sweet server who knew food and the restaurant to guide us!! Cool location in an old grainery, clean and quaint!

Quaint, personalized unique rooms, colorful and comfortable. Excellent and gracious service, full menu, reasonably priced, good food. Great place to meet with family or friends you haven't seen in awhile. Relaxed Sunday lunchtime atmosphere.

If you think all Italian restaurants are the same prepare to be amazed. Fresh made pasta each day. Sunset menu with an amazing selection. The portions are unbelievable. Treat yourself to spaghetti you want to eat combined with an unctuous sauce.. Cooked to perfection. Music playing in the background, worthy of any sidewalk in Rome. The staff is beyond compare, my lovely Reyna was so helpful and nothing short of incredible.

Went in for dinner and it was AMAZING. our server, Tony, took such great care of us. I thought I knew what I wanted but once I heard they had a steak special I got that. My wife got a salmon dish with a mustard fettuccine and both were delicious. We both had different desserts as well and both were also very tasty.

Tony was amazing, very punctual and friendly! We were never waiting on Tony. Food was amazing and great portion! Great little spot to come to for some dinner, definitely would come again next time we’re in town, and we’ll ask for Tony to serve us again! Drinks also amazing!

We LOVED the food, and the waitress (Katie) was sweet and accepting. We do not eat out often but from now on when we are in Mount Vernon we will plan on eating at Il Granaio. We were there just after lunch time and Katie helped me to select the Strozzapreti Calabrese My wife ordered the Filet Minon Sliders. (Who would go to the best Italian in the Pacific Northwest and ordered sliders?) So, I will just say, The dish I had (Strozzapreti Calabrese) was awesome! The pasta was fresh and cooked to the perfect texture, The Italian sausage had the perfect amount of spicy, complemented by a rich red sauce and red peppers and capers topped by shredded basil and parmesan. I am a big eater, and the portion was large enough that I had to take the remaining portion home. We ordered a side of marinera to dip the delicious garlic bread. Good? Great? Even better then Great? The marinara. Delicious, rich, fresh and perfectly spiced. We took the last of the side order home. So, If you are visiting Mount Vernon they are right next to the Amtrak Station or if you are visiting the Skagit County Courthouse/County Clerk etc. They are a short walk to the east.

I found the food and drinks to be amazing. Very authentic nice portions and great service. Will definitely be back. It is also a chain of restaurants I will have to check them out as well!

A perfect little spot for delicious Mexican food! We stopped by after a walk with Diego and instantly loved the cozy, colorful vibe — it smelled like spices, grilled tortillas, and good decisions. We started with crispy tortilla chips and fresh guacamole — smooth, zesty, and just right. Honestly, I could’ve eaten a whole bowl of that guac by myself. I ordered enchiladas and they were packed with flavor — warm, comforting, perfectly sauced, and nicely portioned. To top it off, I had a glass of sangria — fruity, refreshing, and perfect for a summer afternoon. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and super tasty food. 📍If you’re in Burlington and craving Mexican — COA is totally worth a stop. ⭐ 10/10 – would definitely come back (especially for the guac and sangria combo!).

This place was impossibly good. I'm often let down somehow, just a little, when I visit restaurants that have high ratings above 4.5, but this place exceeded expectations. We ordered several things, but the beans were the best beans I've had in my life, full stop. Creamy and flavorful and perfectly cooked, not a split bean in sight. I didn't know beans could be this good, and I love beans and cook them often! I could come here and eat just those and some rice and leave happy, but in addition to the beans, the margarita was top notch, the chips were fresh and crisp, the pork and chorizo dish I ordered was tender and flavorful and not overly fatty or greasy, and the poblano cream sauce on my spouse's enchiladas was unreal - so, so, good, you could put it on a piece of cardboard and I would eat it. Besides great food, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean, and the service was warm and friendly. It's been a while since we've been anywhere that impressed us from start to finish, but this place really did. It's too bad we don't live that close, but we will absolutely travel an hour just to eat here again. 10/10.

This place is a nice little hidden gem in downtown Mount Vernon. Perfect place to get together with a friend and chat about life and business. The food was super tasty! I heard the tequila is good....I will stick with my coffee. They have GREAT coffee!

The actual restaurant is nice, but the food was UNPLEASANT!! We stopped by for a quick lunch, in total we ordered 15 tacos , took advantage of the taco Tuesday special, I dont know if its cause they are $2 or what, but the Chorizo tacos were swimming in grease, it wasnt strained , literally full of grease, I took a picture of the grease from ONE taco, our stomachs hurt while in the restaurant. The asada tacos too were a bit greasy but not as bad. Not a good first experience.

Stopped here after going to Deception Pass for the day. Really good, well prepared, homemade food. The mole sauce on my enchiladas was tangy and superb. The sopa de tortillas was very good too and ginormous. Loved the beans, rice, everything. Plus the staff very friendly after my esposa spilled a glass of horchata on my lap.

The food is like an amazing adventure in flavors. They have low carb options that are packed with substance. The prices are reasonable, with a plethora of choices. They have a wide selection of margaritas, including a lavender one I would recommend trying! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is great.!

First visit to Tacos and Tequila. It was a beautiful day, so the front wall, which appears to be a garage door, was fully open, letting the fresh air in. Loved that! Music was playing, akin to a nightclub, but at a more reasonable volume. Our waitress was attentive, kind and helpful. The bartender was great at his job… and easy on the eyes! We got tacos and they were fantastic!!! Bought many more to take home. Chips and fresh pico were also delicious. Looking forward to going back again.

Always in Joy Catrina. The food is always amazing in the atmosphere. Never fails. Just so happened, the service was a four out of a five this time but everyone has a bad day and maybe it was a bad day for our server. But nonetheless, we will be going back because our servers are usually amazing!

A sit beside the kitchen and get to watch the process place! It’s a very cozy and feel good place. Our food was incredible and left us wanting to come back soon and often. Ask about what options they can make vegan and they will tell you, also let them know if it’s your first time. They don’t mess around with their spice levels! My vegan tofu phad Thai and green tea with coconut milk was so good, I highly recommend!

Rachawadee Thai Café is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in a cozy, no-frills setting. The star of our meal was hands down the Thai Red Curry—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced with a depth of flavor that only a skilled Thai chef can deliver. The heat level was spot-on, giving just the right kick without overpowering the dish. Every bite was a balance of warmth, spice, and savory delight. Though the space is small with limited seating, it adds to the charm—intimate, homey, and clearly focused on delivering exceptional food. The cooks here are outstanding. You can tell each dish is made with care and traditional know-how. The service was okay overall, though one odd moment stood out—when we asked for extra spoons, the staff lady seemed hesitant, almost like we were requesting something extravagant. She kept recounting the spoons and took a moment to hand them over, which felt a bit awkward for such a small ask. Still, the food more than made up for it. This is one of those places where you go for the flavor, not the frills. Highly recommend if you’re in Seattle and love Thai food that delivers authenticity and soul in every bite.

What. A. GEM!! I'm so disappointed that I've lived here in Skagit Valley for 7 years and NOBODY has told me about this place!! If you're looking for delicious and authentic Thai food, freshly cooked right in front of you, THIS is your place. There's only 8 seats and it's first come, first served, but if you're hungry for some of the best Thai you can find, it's worth the wait (if you have to wait). And to be honest, the atmosphere is great with such few seats. This will be my all time go-to for as long as I am in the valley. 10/10 if I could give it to them, but I can't so 5* will have to do.

This is THE place. Got the curry noodles and they were fire. Get half the spice level you normally do. Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time and I eat Thai all the time

If it's your first time tell them, their spice levels are not a joke. Be careful and you will love every bite! Great staff, talented chefs, we often get takeout and eat by the river and only occasionally eat in. Either option is fun. Staff handles food allergies well as the food is made fresh on site and they know their ingredients. I don't know where they get their basil and it's addictive. The freshness of the basil with their style of cooking is beyond 👌 😍

I usually love this place, though have only been 5 or so times. Last night my partner and I got food to go, spaghetti and a calzone. I really do love the food here, I also understand resturaunt service because I have been in the industry myself. I understand mistakes do happen, but upon getting home and eating our food together, and sharing, we saw a meatball that was very under cooked and pink in the center. My calzone didn't have meat and was still warm so I felt comfortable eating that and sharing that instead because it was pretty big. Well this morning I have food poisioning to the degree of missing work, my partner has symptoms too. This has been very disappointing because this is a spot where my partner and I celebrate our anniversery. I know one of the cooks because we've seen him frequently and he wasn't present when I looked for him last night; maybe it was a new or different cook this one time.

Stopped by for dinner for the first time. I’ve heard amazing things about their calzones, and wasn’t disappointed. The portion size was huge, definitely had left overs. The service was good and food came quick.

My S.O. and myself were in the mood for some Italian inspired fare. We had been meaning to try this local spot for some time and finally made the move to stop in and try Pacioni's. Our food was as expected, nothing ground breaking. My S.O. remarked that the calzone's crust was good and she liked their marinara sauce. My turkey panini I felt could have been more sauce forward, I really didn't taste the pesto. The orzo pasta salad that came with the panini wasn't something we'll get again. Neither of us liked the flavor, it had a mild sweetness that was off putting to us. Remember taste is subjective, so maybe someone out there really likes it. That wasn't us though. Our service was impeccable, our waitress had great timing and was very accommodating to our visit. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from an Italian place in its downtown location.

Best Calzone I’ve ever had. Exceptional. Attentive, professional service. A rare find in our “after-times” world of poor service and ridiculous pricing. Highly recommend.

We celebrated my parents 66 yr anniversary and the restaurant made our experience magical and special. They took such great care to make each meal perfect for us by modifying and catering to our special needs. Thank you Pacioni’s for such a wonderful evening!!!

The overall experience was okay, when we first walked in one of the waitresses saw us and walked away so we had to wait for another waitress. First we thought she was a customer and then we realized she was a waitress too. The food... the taste can improve. The place was empty when we got there at 3pm but after 30 minutes it got busy so our waitress checked on us once after she brought the food.

What a great spot! My wife and I were finally able to come down and check out Pacioni's Pizzeria the other night and they did not disappoint. We started out with some roasted garlic (delicious!) and then shared the Lemon Chicken Pizza. The food was delicious, the staff was helpful and kind, and the atmosphere was wonderful for an evening together. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!

I'm going to be a little brutal because it's high-quality house made corned beef. I got the corned beef hash. The corned beef was in larger cubes and had an almost boiled texture and look. It also wasn't a hash it was corned beef with onions and green peppers. The coffee was great and kept coming.... That said, it still tasted good. Also, the eggs over med were perfect, and the rye toast was thick and delicious. The coffee was very good and the waitress was very attentive.

You have to eat here! The portions are just right for anyone hungry. We were a group of 7 and had a great time. The kids loved the Mickey pancakes

Went to Mr. T's for breakfast and it was fantastic! The food is hearty, delicious, and the portion sizes are huge—definitely a great value. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich with a side of gravy (for dipping) and french fries. The service was also quick and friendly, making for a perfect start to our day. Highly recommend this local gem!

Dined in there today 6/28 for breakfast and was a great home cooked meal in Huge portions! We went to the window to get a table. They said it would be a 25/35 min wait so they gave us a pager and we sat in the car lots of people in wait line, so we waitied and got a table immediately the lady got us our drinks and took our order, was shocked only took about 10 mins or so and was hot fresh and delicious! She was quick for our refills and checked out super fast! Impressive work you guys rocked it today and breakfast was delicious and in a huge portions! Never seen a biscuit that big before! We highly recommend this place over a chain restaurant!!!! Fast friendly and delicious American diner food!

I have been coming here since I was a child and nothing has changed! Everytime I'm back visiting in Washington I take my family here! The food is Amazing! And sooo... much food for the price! It's unbeatable. If there is a wait for a table! WAIT!! I can assure you that you won't be disappointed! Definitely recommended 10/10! Terrific!!

At first thought Mr T's seemed like a standard mom and pop dinner but to my surprise it was packed and full of life. The service here was great. The waitress was helpful with any questions we had and was friendly. I have to say the biscuits here are massive! And they are delicious!

We make it a point to stop here anytime we are in the area, which is usually on the way to camping or Whidbey Island ... this time (camping) we got some blueberries to put in our yogurt for breakfast while camping. They were delicious.. The garden, produce, wellness, and gift area (upstairs) are my favorites, but really the whole co-op is fantastic (it is much better than the Olympia Food Co-op, which is sad because that one is a lot closer). You don't need a membership to shop. There's usually parking available (though the lot can feel small when people drive and park wonky). The staff are usually pleasant and knowledgeable; the vibe is chill. See you next time we're in town Skagit Valley Food Coop!

It is always a pleasure to visit the co-op, there are my regular items I can depend on, and a few surprises too. I shop from all of the departments, and everything is excellent, meats, baked goods, produce. I try and go at times I am not in a rush so that I can grab a meal from the deli counter, fresh soups, sandwiches, and so much more. The items upstairs are perfect for gifts for anyone.

In town for a few days vacation but we came everyday; wish we had something similar in our hometown. Everything is fresh & there are events about sustainable farming. I was introduced to produce & fruits that I'd never seen/heard of before & the store just felt nourishing & sustaining. There's a deli area to get ready made meals & desserts too.

This is my new favorite co-op! So cozy/nice, you don’t have to walk by the cashiers (who at other locations don’t tend to like to greet people) to enter the store and shop. It’s a huge place and the produce section is top notch! Everything is organic there to my understanding and also their cafe area is amazing with many options. I’m a happy vegan here!

Wonderful community! ! Highly recommend. Well designed layout, easy to find items, friendly, helpful staff. Quality food and other products to choose from. I especially appreciate the deli and bakery, with their great go to food. The bulk section allows you to buy just what you need reducing wasted food, money and packaging. I especially appreciate the bulk spices, honey, syrup, coffee, and fresh ground nut butters. If bringing a container have it measured before so you don’t pay for its weight as well. The upstairs is a nice spot to pick out a gift for someone with local options. They take excellent care of their plants in the garden area as well. Lots of good at the coop.

We drive up from the Seattle area just to get the made-to-order sandwiches at the Mount Vernon Co-op - they’re that good. On the surface, it might seem like a simple sandwich, but everything is incredibly fresh and they offer sprouts! Sprouts just takes it to the next level. It’s the kind of sandwich that reminds you how satisfying real, fresh food can be. My only disappointment is that they never bought back the sourdough bread. It may seem small, but that bread made a great sandwich even better, and its absence is definitely felt. Still, the staff are friendly, the co-op has a welcoming, community-focused vibe, and the food is made with care. Even without the sourdough, it’s absolutely worth the trip from Seattle, and it remains one of our favorite road trips.

Bellingham resident here, and a huge fan of the Bellingham co-op... but WOW Skagit may have it beat! Incredible selection of products and such a lovely shopping experience all-around. I picked up some prepared meals for a work lunch and was blown away by the creativity of flavors! They put orange and cinnamon in a rice salad with cucumber, tomato, and mint. Who does that?! 😍😍

We had a good dining experience at Thai House in Mt. Vernon. The food was absolutely delicious, and we want to give huge compliments to the chef for the flavorful dishes. We ordered Tom kha, pad kee mao with tofu, chicken satay, basil fried rice vegetarian. Do ask for their spicy sauce if you wanna go up a notch. Everything was served quick. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was lovely. The portions were good for the price. Clean space to eat for sure. The waitress was polite and attentive, though we felt a bit rushed towards the end as our plates were taken before we fully finished. It’s a small detail, but it did slightly affect the overall experience. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our meal here!

We weren’t planning to come here and we had planned to eat at Rachawadee Thai. The restaurant was about to close and offered only take out. Then we decided to try the Thai house restaurant , located on a beautiful , lit street full of boutique shops. We had amazing, spicy Thai food & it was a perfect fix after visiting the tulip fields. The service was excellent and the lady who waited on our table was very kind. We both had spicy noodles with tofu and egg

This restaurant is the worse Thai restaurant I’ve ever been. We order Tom yum noodle soup and massaman curry. First of all, curry doesn’t have any spices. Second, it’s not even Tom Yum. It doesn’t look or taste like Tom Yum. I grew up in Thai and I know how Tom Yum tastes like. It’s just chicken noodle soup. Even if you guys don’t know how to make Tom Yum, you can use ready made Tom yum paste. I thought that they put the wrong order, so I asked them “are you sure that’s the right order is that Tom yum soup? for 2 time. They said yes and they’re Thai people. I’m so surprised that they’re lie about it. I will never come to this restaurant. I don’t recommend if you want authentic Thai food. Street food in Bangkok is much better than this.

This was the first time trying the restaurant, and it was delicious. The service was fast, our server was very attentive, and the prices were reasonable. We had calamari for appetizer. I was skeptical at first because it was in rings, but they were not chewy. They were perfect. I had the Bangkok rib, and my husband had the "happy family" dish.

Good food and a very cute spot. Hadn’t had Thai food since being in Thailand a few months ago and this was very good and they even had Thai beers that we were getting in Thailand. Lots of vegetarian options and a full veg section on the menu. Would recommend!

Most excellent place to eat. Great service with a smile. These youngsters are great at what they do. Good avacado burgers and a double burger on lettuce . They were spot on. We did get ice cream...Aloha sundae was excellent..I got a most excellent hot fudge sundae. Great job to the crew.

I drove up to Mt. Vernon from Olympia to spend a few days with my best friend! While out and about we stopped at Big Scoop and Oh My Gosh this just blew my mind! I am a major ice cream lover and Big Scoop is just the BEST! Beats out Ben & Jerry and Haagen-Dazs in my book! I had a big scoop of butter pecan in a waffle cone that will keep me dreaming about it for weeks and encourage another trip to Mt. Vernon really soon!! They also have yummy burgers and fries! The staff was super friendly and had smiles for days! Customer Service is on the very top of their agenda! Big Thanks to Gwen, Petra, Debbie, Lyshel, Allyssa and Clara the Owner/Manager who stopped at our table and chatted with us. The Big Scoop was clean, sanitary and all the customers were enjoying their experience along with the burgers and ice cream!! Great Job, Great Efforts, Great Ice Cream!! WELL DONE EVERYONE!!

Dennys is a unique place in that the food is hit or miss and that's between menu items versus who is cooking. It's 24/7 which is great however that does draw a lot of crazy characters. I have really enjoyed the employees there, and met some great people. If you want a cheap meal the value menu can't be beat... especially since at 3am nobody is open. They have wifi if I recall. There are no customer available outlets, but there's a bathroom that's always clean and available when necessary. I have gotten the value burger and fries, the value slam (basic breakfast) and I got the club sandwich with fries this last time. The value menu items are enough food for me so I shouldn't wander; however, I got the club. It was enormous. So much meat in it. I had a hard time squashing it down to fit in my mouth. I didn't finish a half and only 1/3 the fries. (Fries are always hot crispy and good) I took the other half to go but it barely fit in the container. I had to press down to get it to snap closed. Very good IMHO. Thank you to the staff for your patience and good service. BTW sometimes I go in to use the bathroom or just sit warm up and get some water and they don't complain, but they do know I'm a courteous customer. I'm sure they'd be like that to anyone if they are behaving and courteous.

Great breakfast thanks to Leslie. She was our server and was so well in helping my 87 yr old mom, who also could not see well, go through the menu step by step on items she was interested in. She crouched down to her lever and was so gentle and demonstrated best demeanor. Leslie is a great example and should be rewarded, as she is going places!

Every time I try to enjoy Dennys, it always goes wrong. The waitress was very disrespectful. There were no pickles on my son's burger. My hash browns were so cold, they were inedible. I am going to stop giving this Dennys second chances. Service and food are terrible. And yes, we left a penny as a symbol of how we were treated. Do not recommend this Dennys to anyone.

The decor and furnishings could use a facelift but cleanliness was not an issue. The waitress was very nice and went above and beyond to accommodate our menu alterations despite it being 5:00am and the restaurant being understaffed. Food was wonderful with the exception of the T-bone steak which we requested be rare and medium rare… a near impossible request to fulfill because the steaks were no more than 1/3” thick. But the flavor was good.

Cheryl Hernandez at the Mount Vernon, WA is an absolutely treasure! Our tire popped and we took the exit immediately and parked in front of Dennys. We sat in the parking lot (family of 4 with two young kids) for a bit when Cheryl came out to check on us. She introduced herself and let us know we were the manager and said we were welcome to come in and warm up. My dad came to grab my husband and kiddos and I sat there enjoying a coffee until the tow truck driver came hours later. I felt welcome and cared for. Cheryl came over several times to check on me and even popped outside with me when the tow truck driver arrived. She has a great personality and true customer service attitude! Keep up the great work Cheryl! (Just a note that the other waiter worked that night was kind as well.)

Went there Saturday morning Oct 18 2025...arrived 6:10 ...2 tables ...2 people per table......waited 10min no coffee no menu ....finally 6:25 waiter brings u 2 sets of cutlery......another group of 4 guys walks in get seated ...... conversation continues in Spanish coffee follows .......nothing going our way 6:30 we just got up and left waste of time ..... No more pride in services at dennys .......they want to provide minimal service and expect maximum tip ........I'll go back to the other local breakfast places they have good food great service.....but most don't open till 7am dennys will be in the no go list Do better ....but I won't see this because I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere

This was like a broke down Sonic. We ordered our food from our phone by scanning the QR code on the menu. It should just be a drive through but it did take 30 minutes for our food to come out which was kind of a long time we thought. I would recommend it for you to eat once to try it. The shakes were tasty.

First time here, and it's a drive in. You can order off a qr code or wait for a car hop. The menu isn't overly complex, which is appreciated. Easy to read and understand. We got our order taken within 5 minutes of parking. Waitress was nice, and repeated the order to ensure accuracy. We got the burger melt and a grilled cheese, with fries, a coke, and house made lemonade. Food took about 6 minutes to come out, and it was served very hot! Very appreciated! The burger was a big portion, loaded up with the free toppings, and was so delicious. Patties were properly seasoned, and the bun was super soft. My only issue was that the buns got soggy rather quickly. My wife loved the simple execution of the grilled cheese. The fries were much like McDonald's but tasted more genuine/natural. Tartar sauce was okay, it tasted rather garlicy? The house lemonade was super yummy. Tart, sweet, lemony.. Definitely not too much sugar. Total cost after tip was $38. Compared to five guys, I'd say everything is better except maybe the fries. And this is cheaper for sure, so totally would prefer burgermaster over five guys! Will be back!

I’d driven past Burgermaster for years and finally decided to stop in. The service was excellent, our server was friendly, and the food came out quickly. The toppings were fresh, and the milkshake was delicious, made with real strawberries. Unfortunately, the burger itself was underwhelming. It lacked seasoning and had almost no browning, which left it tasting flat despite the fresh toppings. The milkshake, while tasty, came with a straw that collapsed and split almost immediately, making it difficult to enjoy. I truly wish I could give this place a higher rating. The staff is great, the atmosphere is inviting, and it has so much potential. A few simple changes: season the burgers generously with salt, ensure a proper sear for flavor and texture, and provide sturdy milkshake straws. These tweaks could take Burgermaster from just another average burger spot to something truly special.

Amazing Service, First time there and you pull up look at me u and when your ready to order just turn on headlights and a waitress will come right to you and take your order! We orders a few burgers to try as well milk shakes! And food was great simple and quick! Highly recommend if you’re in a rush and don’t want to head into a restaurant or go thru a drive thru to find a parking spot and eat!

The food was terrible . The burger was flat dry and flavorless. Also if you care about yourself , don’t get the crab melt. It was terrible. I almost threw up when I took the first bite , the smell of the sandwich was unbearable, and the taste was salty and bitter and just terrible ugh. Thankfully I got a refund for the crab melt . The fries were good tho and the milkshake was one of the best I’ve ever had!

The only reason the food is rated 4 is because the fries were a little oily and undercooked so many were not crispy and the flavor was not as developed as it could have been. We did scarf them down so there were still great, just not 5/5. The burgers were cooked well and delicious. They do have vegetarian options too. We got a Baconmaster and Mini Baconmaster but they didn't come with bacon and the Baconmaster had raw onion instead of grilled. They were great with the other custom things, even with the gluten free bun. Also, they amended everything; I ate mine because I didn't mind but my partner went back and they gave him 6 pieces of bacon. My partner said that they were very kind about it!

I used to come here as a younger man. The ownership has changed but this place is just like I remember. Legit. Big portions which are really delicious. The service is on point and they have a sweet little bar in the back with a pool table. All in all a reasonable place that you can have a nice time. #20 beans, rice, taco with chicken, chili Reno (super good) and a beef enchilada. Free chips and salsa.

I had to rate this place a 3 total but food 4. First time eating at a Mexican restaurant where you are not offered tortillas on the side of a pescado frito. However, food itself was AMAZINGGGGggggg!!! Would try them again for sure.

Birthday dinner gone sour! I don’t usually post reviews, but felt like I had to. Celebrated a late birthday dinner, don’t think we’ll be going back here. Overpriced margaritas, prices are not on the menu and owner said on another review the reviewer and server could have had “better communication” I think better communication is putting prices on your menu and maybe training your staff better to not blindside people. Take some accountability. Prices have gone up everywhere, but looking at competition in the valley you can get way more bang for you buck anywhere else. The chimichanga and enchiladas were so tiny and there’s not anything special about the taste when looking at competition. I’m okay paying high prices if the value is there, but it wasn’t; duct tape holding things together, bug in my drink, and for being a family run business in the valley it sure seems they are just out to make a quick buck. My advice don’t waste your time or money go to COA or downtown MV. Their only saving grace is our server was pretty nice! I hope they make some changes because this could be a pretty cool spot.

I had the sizzling chicken fajitas.. they were absolutely delicious! also had a pina colada which was top-notch! The waitress was very kind and sweet and I made a new friend while I was there...

The waitress was fine. Food was good. Expect to pay $20 per person. I deducted a star for the bad taste left in my mouth for the ‘no cash adjustment’ charge of close to $5. In this day and age of insta-pay/Apple Pay/credit cards, to be charged for it out of the blue really bothered my sensibilities.

I love this lil diner. It's quiet, staff is great at reading their customers and giving you exactly the amount of service you want. Food is great. Atmosphere is that is a small family dinner that knows their regulars by name. They also have a drive thru!

Ordered the Eggs with chorizo and had onions added. The onions weren't even fully cooked and cut into large chunks where the layers didn't even separate, chorizo didnt even taste like chorizo. The gluten-free toast which wasn't fully toasted and had no butter and it was the bread heel. I also ordered a side of hash browns and that was completely absent! Also ordered the a drink called Roy Rogers which wasn't even made correctly so no surprise there. Family wanted me to try the place out to see if it's a great place to take the grandparents for lunch but that's not happening now. Must have been an off day for whoever was working the kitchen or something but I'm definitely not impressed. Poorly made food, missing food, and poorly made drink. Do better.

Found this great breakfast cafe while visiting Tulip Festival! Excellent service. Fantastic eggs, sausage, crispy hash browns and pancakes! Tremendous experience.

Family owned business, nice people. I was able to relax and plug in my laptop with nobody rushing me out the door. Older crowd. The food was great and portions were generous. I loved how they mixed in plenty of vegetables in their breakfast hash. Tasty mimosas! It's not a luxury place but it's low key and home-like. Not bad for what you pay for, considering the current economy in the region. I'll be back.

Overall, it was a very good experience. This area of town, near the hospital and professional buildings, brings in people like me, a retirement age. The building is a very old fast food. Perhaps Taco Bell type arrangement. The fixtures inside remind me of a older Mexican food restaurant, being thick, wood booths, etc. The wall is lined with pictures of senior citizens that I assumed they’re on a regular basis. Don’t go there for the atmosphere. The food was average. I had a scramble plate that was way overdone and my wife had a traditional Benedict. The eggs for the Benedict were cooked perfectly but there was a lot of hollandaise sauce and it was a little on the sweet side. Then there was the Service. There’s one waitress she was fantastic. She was friendly to absolutely everybody coming in the door sitting at the table. She was apologetic if things took more than a couple of minutes to serve you drinks and food. He was en suite and that alone would bring me back to this restaurant.

The food was very average. The seafood platter was greasy, the fried clams were extremely overcooked & dry. My omelet was good but had zero flavor. It was definitely not a place I will return to eat.

Have driven by this place for a long time and can't believe we chose Mother's Day for our first visit but so glad we did. We actually found a booth and discovered thei have a more extensive menu than we expected. We'd simply done a search for "pancakes near me" and came up with the usual players as knew they'd have long waits. As neither my aunt nor I had been here, we decided to check it out. Everything is made fresh so don't expect super fast service but it wasn't overly long, either. The wait staff were all really nice, the food had huge portions, reasonable prices, and very tasty. The only complaint was the super dry, hard bacon - pass! Not enough to dock a full star, IMHO. #7 & 16: Pancakes w/low-cal Aunt Jemima syrup and butter, hash browns, and chorizo scramble were all winners. Can't wait to try other menu items in the future.

This is a mandatory stop every time we need to be on the mainland! Fish sandwich for lunch, always so fresh and delicious… and then we take home octopus ceviche, some ahi poke, and whatever the wonderful staff tells us is tasty today! Everything is fresh, the store is spotless and absolutely everything on the lunch menu is amazingly good!

Ever had a place with food so good you tear up a little bit? That's this place for me. It was an expensive treat for myself but it was the best salmon sandwhich I have EVER had, making it worth the price. The workers were super nice. Everything looked super yummy. I will be back for another. Highly recommend. Go treat yourself to some good seafood here.

I have passed this place dozens of times. Now it will become a stop. Wonderful seafood selections. The sandwiches are really delicious. We ordered the crab and the fish sandwich, along with some of the Ahi Poke and shrimp ceviche. Took it all to Bay View Park for a picnic.

This place is such a gem!! I go every time I pass through the area and every time I've loved it!! I haven't bought fresh seafood but the sandwiches and smoked fish are amazing, so delicious. Definitely highly recommend!!

The Lobster Roll was 10/10. Fresh meat, buttery roll, generous portion...definitely worth the drive and the money!

The fish market has high quality, great tasting salmon spread. Lots of salmon, little mayo to be able to really taste the fish with a hint of dill. Their smoked scallops and tuna poke are delicious too.

We love this place have been coming here for years on our way to Deception Pass for camping. The poke salad is my favorite. Very nice staff and establishment as well.

Got the neatest rock hammer here once, and met up with a new friend to give him a choker for his wife i made. I helped them save the laundry that was accidently locked in for us while loading our vehicles. they brought me $20 in a gift card cuz I was living in my car. They're carrying touch my heart and now we have new friendship.

After seeing the "cook" throw sandwiches thru the pass-thru, I had to see what I got my dbl B&C...what a mess...along with luke warm fries...not the best foot forward. The bell did not get for the 2nd visit in a row!!

Our 3rd bad experience in a row dining in. The restaurant is clean besides the Arby's sauce/ketchup containers. The ketchup was more red water than ketchup and they didn't care at all when told them about the problem. So no ketchup on that visit. Also the restrooms are absolutely horrible smelling everytime we've visited. Just got the new pulled pork sandwich and the 1 tablespoon of meat was 100% refrigerator cold. My wife's sandwich had the top bun broken in half, and the bottom bun was twice as thick as usual. All this after yet again about a 20min wait to get our food with nobody in the drive through and only 1 other party of 3 waiting and pissed to get their food to go. The mgr/drive-through order person was sitting out in dinning area for the second visit in a row being extremely loud. This time, 5 other people who seemed to be off-duty employees were with her coming in to get what looked to be free food. The door to the kitchen opened and SLAMMED SHUT over 30 times easily, for our 30 minutes dinner visit. That also happens every visit because the door is obviously broken and nobody cares enough to fix it, or at least pull it closed gently. This place needs an undercover boss!

UPDATE..carry out July 22, 2025 Ordered a BLT. Stale and hard bread. Potatoe cakes tasted like it was cooked in OLD grease/oil. I would call that no longer trustworthy to eat there. If you want $30+ plus dollars for something to eat at least make it worth a dollar okay. I had not been back to Arbys in over ten years. And last month I gave it a near perfect score.... We won't be going back. Dined in on June 23, 2025 @ 4pm The food is absolutely great, was hot, fresh and well made. The presentation of our sandwiches were super well made! The store was super clean! The young lady at the counter was super nice and very knowledgeable. And very clean and presentable! The manager was super nice! I don't know anyone there anymore, but I plan on getting to know them and will be visiting often! All of the "other" fast food places have totally turned us off with poor food quality, and bad presentation of food.

I don't generally leave negative reviews, but burgers falling out of packages, overcooked and greasy fries, staff getting berated by a shift manager who was completely unprofessional, and a dining room with week old food under tables while the staff all sat around complaining and doing nothing (while alarms were going off in the kitchen for 5+ minutes) is too much for me not to share feedback. I love Arby's, but this place is awful. Best of luck, but we won't be back.

Food is sub-par, not hot, does not look or taste like roast beef. Floors are sticky, condiments were empty. Bathroom were dirty with no paper towels. I will not be visiting this establishment again and probably will be crossing the whole chain off my list, the are way too many better choices out there for good fast food.

I don't think that my husband an I will be ordering any time soon. 2 Arby Q and the buns were all smashed up way to much BBQ sauce on them I'm going to see if I can send a picture to corporate

I’ve been to many Arby’s across the country. This is the best one right here! The staff working were super friendly, courtesy and appreciated their customers. The food was also spot on! This location should be used as a model for training. Totally impressed!

Great service. Simple decor with a quiet atmosphere. I had the shrimp spring rolls (5 stars), the pork banh mi (5 stars), and the House Special Combo Pho (4 stars). The pho broth was a little oily for my taste and could have been hotter in temp; steaming hot rather than being closer to lukewarm.

If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food look no further. My boyfriend and I found this place since on google, he was craving some Pho and I saw that they had Pork/grilled shrimp vermicelli. The portions were big enough to share and the meat was tender and had great flavor. They have a big menu to choose from. Friendly staff and open seating area.

Delicious banh mi and bubble tea! Extremely warm and inviting staff who are very attentive with impeccable manners. I'll definitely be coming back on the regular!

Another great visit for lunch. The place never disappoints. Service if fast and the menu is simple but the no frills belies the excellent food. Went for some spring rolls which are fresh and filling. Calamari not to everyone's liking but came as a stick which I really like others may not like it. Pho never disappoints rich broth with plenty of meat and also nice amount of noodles. Also the bubble tea with rainbow jelly never fails.

This was seriously the best Pho I’ve had in the area. It’s so delicious that you can tell that they genuinely care about the food they serve. I got the brisket pho and the brisket was delicious & quality, but my favorite was the flavor of the broth! I’m not much of a noodle person so if you love noodles, be sure to order extra! Def try this place out. Also the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly.

Large meat portions in the pho💪💪💪🤙 broth was on point. Egg rolls crispy and also meaty. Spring rolls had perfect vege/meat ratios. Eat here now 💯🙌

Ordered chicken teriyaki and got about 3/4 of my chicken. Also my daughter got a hair in her food. Called the restaurant and told them. Their response was we will give you extra chicken next time I order. STAY AWAY. Bad customer service and they seem to be ripping people off.

Salad dressing tasted like just mayonnaise with little to no seasoning. Very disappointing. I opened my box to my pork teriyaki and was met with a foul colored and smelling meat…took one bite and one bite of the old smelling rice and had to spit it out. I could not even eat one bite. I am a huge fan of teriyaki and this is NOT that. I’m really surprised by all the good reviews because this tasted so bad I had to leave a review to warn people! Complete waste of 16$.

It was solid! Service was nice, food was out quick ( we got two entrees, it we left roughly 10 minutes after we ordered), and it was pretty tasty! I got the shrimp and pork combo meal, and it was a lot of food for how much I paid. The only gripe I've got is that the shrimp was a little bland and a little overcooked. Other than that, the rest of the meal was very yummy! Would definitely recommend!

I always order spicy chicken at teriyaki places. Really good here. Was ready very quickly. The salad portion was big. She brought sauces. One of them for the salad. Pleasant place to eat. Doesn't always go that way. Enjoy!

It's never been the best location but what teriyaki place has a good location lol I used to love eating here before work with my buddy when I was 19 (now 27) it quickly became our favorite teriyaki place mainly because they had really good teriyaki sauce. So good In fact I would use it on my salad too lol. But I went there recently and the food was awful. Chicken was tough and chewy and the teriyaki sauce was more like teriyaki jello and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I had just talked this place up to my grandmother and invited her to come with me. I regret that decision, she wouldn't eat any of it after the first few bites. I hope this place can eventually go back to having the great taste it used to. Until then Imma have to go to another place.

I was disappointed. Food is not up to the correct recipes for Asian cooking. No flavor but sriracha sauce over everything. Crab ragoon wrapped in something like pasta dough then deep fried, just weird. Rice dried out. Frozen dinner tastes better. And cheaper. Must say though salad was ok. It's not worth your money. I should have got a pizza or burgers. Dang it. I'm just so disappointed.

DO NOT EAT HERE RAW CHICKEN!!! This was my go to spot in Mt. Vernon/Burlington. Was served the chicken in these photos today. Charred on the outside but pink in the middle. Thankfully I think I only ate a few pieces before noticing. Not all of it was like this. How would they not notice this when cooking, cutting, and serving the food? Do they not temp check the meat? Will update if I get sick. I’ll be lucky not to. In the meantime I would avoid eating here at all costs.

Steak yakisoba, chicken teriyaki and fried gyoza.

I have been here a few times but rarely go since I don't live close. Last night, we decided to give it a try again. We spend almost $60 for just the 2 of us, so I don't think we will be returning anytime soon. We spend like another $20 at other places and are able to get my kids something as well. My bf ordered Mongolian beef and thought it was going to look like it does in the picture they have (lots of onion and chili pepper). Unfortunately, it didn't look like he had hoped. It was missing more pepper. The soy sauce given with the meal was not very good either (seemed watered down). I ordered chicken terriyaki and a side of egg rolls. My chicken tasted a little flavorless, so I didn't even finish my meal, and it actually tasted a little better reheated in the microwave the next day unless it was just my hunger. The egg rolls were good except for 1 of them was really greasy that I couldn't even finish it. The salad dressing was very bland that I couldn't even enjoy the salad, which is usually my favorite part.

Teriyaki chicken is not bad, portions are kinda small, price is high for the portion. People behind the counter, well seamed a little snooty and we felt rushed out the door. Good thing it was to go.

Had Gen Tos, and Mongolian beef. It was the most salty trash I've ever had. Gen tos tasted like burnt Teriyaki sauce w/too much salt. Mongolian beef tasted like the base was the Teriyaki sacue , and the after taste was Salty as hell. If the cook took as much care as the cashier did, the food would no have sucked as bad. I personally think the cashier should do the cooking, because she cares about her job. She would make sure that it is right. To the cook my stomach hurts after 2 bites of each dish. U can't cook.

seriously worst fast food experience i’ve ever had in total we waited a whole hour and a half for our food which is insane to think we finally got to the window to pay and got sent to the parking lot we waited another 30 minutes before deciding we were gonna go in and ask for our food and finally we got what we thought was our food we checked the bags and saw that it wasn’t our order we told them and what i believe was the manager started yelling at one of the employees for getting it wrong then the manager started walking around saying “omg omg omg omg omg” repeatedly while placing her hand on her head i wish i was joking, again we waited for our food finally this guy gave us our food shoutout to him cus he seems the only one running the place and doing his job right. overall if your gonna come here just don’t go through the drive thru unless you wanna get stuck and wait an hour for some mid burgers.

This review is for Burger King in Mount Vernon, WA. We went through the drive up window and had a coupon for 2 original chicken sandwiches and 2 medium fries for $7.99. We also purchased 8 mozarella sticks and requested a couple of sauces. We were on our way to a event and had to meet with some friends to sign them in. Unfortunately I was trusting and didn't check the bag of food until we arrived. Only received ONE sandwich and no sauces or napkins. I called 5 times and got hung up on. On the 6th call the manager answered and couldn't understand why I was upset. We were hungry and there was only one sandwich and couldn't go back and get it. I figured the gal that gave us the food ate it . She acted like she really didn't want to give it to us and asked us if we had paid. The guy we paid was standing right next to her. I went back the next day and demanded a full refund which the manager did do. It didn't help us the night before because we were both really hungry and there was no food where we went. I think the manager should get better employees and train them. I think she was lazy and not very smart. Also thought she could get away with stealing our sandwich. If go there you might want to take inventory before pulling away.

The whoppers were great, but waited at least 25-30 minutes in the drive thru. Took them quite awhile to finally ask me to order, and almost as long to receive it. Several of the employees, including the manager, appeared overwhelmed and tired. (A major factor of this is because some areas of Mt Vernon and Burlington are rapidly becoming repressed and some businesses are either closing, or are already bankrupt.) A few of them seemed to be doing each each other's position instead of holding to the tried-and-true chain of command; ie, sticking to your own job and not doing someone else's. I'm certain that the employees and manager are well meaning and kind though. They just need to firmly establish and stick to their respective job positions.

If I could give A0I would. I am not exaggerating, we actually timed it. We sat in the drive through for thirty two minutes. My husband refused to let me get mad at a big drive through person. Because that would be the only person I could yell at, but wait pulled up, so I kept my mouth shut. I tried to call them while I was in my car. No one answered. When they finally brought us our food, it was cold. And no I am not kidding. It was cold. My husband wouldn't take me back there because you didn't trust me, lol, I really wouldn't do anything but I yell out. It was so ridiculous, I ..I ... I literally cannot believe it. Yes I stuttered when I said "I". So frustrating, oh, and to boot, it was $42 I ate a couple bites of the sandwich and had to throw it away because it was disgusting and I ate half the fries before they were too cold to eat. (on the way home) not a happy Burger King camper :((

The only real complaint I have is the ice cream/milk shake machine is always been cleaned or turned off, sometimes by 8pm. The last time I went it was still on even though it was just after 9pm but the milk shakes were more like thick chocolate milk and ther is only 1 size of shake but they gave me two different sized shake and when I said I paid for 2 large and 1 is obviously not a large they told me we don't sell large there only 1 size, I so I said ok. But those aren't the same size? So why are you Arguing with me over this? They did make it the larger size but that one was even warmer then the first one. This was just the last time I was there and never had any other issue like that before.

Not mad just disappointed, I went to Burger King to celebrate a very big event with close family as soon as I walked in I was stoked cause the whole reason I went was for the "How to Train Your Dragon" meal (Cashier with the face tattoos was a very nice man give that boy a raise!) Anyways as I was saying I asked for the meal hoping the burger bun would be a different color and even get a dragon hat, until I was HEARTBROKEN by the news of "We dont have the hats anymore." I dropped to my knees when I heard the news. But I kept my head up high as I wouldn't let that ruin my meal I unwrap my whopper with excitement as I unravel the wrapper mouth watering about the thought of red 40 I turn to my brother and say " A REGULAR BURGER!?!" He laughs at my face not knowing I was holding back tears... I would never go back to that burger king.

Not sure why this location is always SO slow. Do not go in the drive through. You will get stuck. We went to the drive through recently after not visiting for a long time and we're immediately reminded of the slow service. We were stuck in the drive through for 20 minutes and hadn't even made it to the order speaker yet. Finally people behind us reversed out so we reversed out. We went inside because we had a mobile order anyway and we waiting 10 minutes inside. Others inside were also angry due to the long wait.

Superb experience. What an amazing gem I found. I Was at the tire shop next door. I walked over because I got hungry. I walked in and it was sooooo warm and inviting. It has this really awesome family room vibe. Super family friendly, they even have family board games. This is a must try. Quiet, clean, spacious, and delicious. I tried a ham and cheese croissant. It was delicious.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Keep her in business!!! Worth every penny! I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for our doctor’s Birthday. I asked that they appear classy & “not like they came from a grocery store with airbrushing.” THEY WERE PERFECT to look at and so incredibly delicious. The frosting was so good. I bake & I have no idea what she uses in the frosting to make it so good! The cake was tasty, moist and spongey. I wanted to eat them all. Everyone enjoyed them. Especially our doctor who has a refined palate. I will order again from here for the next event.

Popped in just before closing, Anna was delightful and the atmosphere was warm. My boyfriend got the ham and cheese croissant, which he loved and I did too! I got a chocolate chip cookie which was cakey and delicious!! The lemonade is perfectly sour and sweet! We will definitely be going there again!!!!

I ordered a cake and cookies for my daughters Birthday, first the lady calls me the day before the party and says she can not do the custom cookies, I was nice about it and she gave me a refund but that’s very unprofessional as I gave her a month in advance to make. Then we get the cake the day of the party and the details and colors of the cake was not what I asked for. All of my guest complained about how dry and densest the cake was. I went back and asked for a refund because what I paid for was not worth 200.00. I will never eat or order anything from here.

Best bakery hands down! The cinnamon rolls, pastries, scones are simply the best. Best customer service. I recommend everyone to go here!

First off of you're coming here expect a little bit of a wait, they have great food and people know it. Table seating is limited, but it's a nice little dining area. It's a bit loud work so many people sitting in a smaller area work andb the kitchen is right next to it. The lady cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They custom made my wife's order since she is picky on how she likes her food.

Great food! Authentic, good size portions, and delicious. Will be coming back to try everything on the menu.

Fun and tasty b-fast and lunch spot right across the bridge from old town Mt Vernon WA. Carne asada burrito and Curizo B-fast burritos were both really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I always appreciate it when staff warmly and honestly recommend other places (I was searching for a papusa)

There's a alot of bad Mexican food in Washington state but this isn't one of them. The chile verde burritos had the right amount of zest, while the breakfast burrito is reminiscent of SoCal. Thank you for the great service and food.

Service was friendly and our meals were very good, traditional Mexican food. I had the enchiladas, they had good flavor, but the meal was a little smaller than I expected. My wife had the burrito, which was a very generous portion. Both tasted great.

We ordered 20 or so pizzas that all came accurately and on time! They have so many great options to accommodate for dairy free, gluten free, and vegetarians individuals--as well as fun unique topping options for all pizzas. I didn't branch out too much, stuck with pepperoni, 4 Cheese Decadence, Hawaiian Passion, Herbivore, and BBQ Chicken. All were a hit! Even their dairy free cheese is good! I really appreciate how easy the ordering process as well as smooth delivery. Thank you for going the extra mile.

We were in town for Rozengarde and found this place online by reading the reviews. The food was amazing. We ordered 3 mini pizzas, philly steak sandwich, greek salad, and cheesy garlic bread. It was all amazing. I highly recommend! The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

I eat here way too much, the food is just that good! I like how closely accurate the timeline for order completions are. The best part however are the staff at the Mount Vernon location. Please relay my appreciation for their professionalism and customer service.

Like if I could rate these guys six stars, I would it’s literally the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The drivers are always courteous and treat me like I’m family. Sometimes I hope that the owner even invites me to his house so that I can see how a pizza man lives, there must be so much love in that house that it trickles into the pizza.

My boyfriend and I came here in the early afternoon for a quick lunch on our way to Bellingham. We were basically the only ones there. The food was pretty fast and the employees were friendly. I ordered the Pollo a la Creme and he had the nachos. The red peppers in my dish were not cooked very well. They were hard and crunchu, which I did not like. But other than that we both enjoyed our food.

Best Mexican food I've found in this area. Not brilliant, but definitely better than anyplace else in the Mount Vernon/Oak Harbor/Anacortes triangle.

It's not the restaurant that I use to know. It feels like and tastes as if taco trucks are a much better way to go, hands down. That is unfortunate. Bland shredded beef chimichanga and overly cornmealed pork tamale. The pork was good but you don't get much in there.

Great place. Locally owned family run Mexican food. Sat with group of 8 plus a 2year old. They handled our orders promptly even though the place was full. When the child dumped water on the floor they were very gracious and picked up the spill while complimenting the parent on what a cute child he had.

Amazing service! The staff are so friendly and professional. The salsa here is perfectly spicy and very flavorful. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our waitress would always check to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure we were enjoying our dinner. There are many items on the menu that will suit any persons appetite. We accidentally stayed past closing and the staff did not tell us to leave, they allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. We had a great experience. I will definitely visit El Gitano in the near future!

Martini Brunch has come a long way since it first opened, and it’s now one of my regular spots for dates and gathering with friends. As someone with a culinary background, I’d rate the food as a solid high medium—delicious, but not gourmet, which I don’t think they’re aiming for exactly. The atmosphere is unique, and even the plates and utensils add to the fun vibe. I’ve seen complaints about inattentive service, and I’ve experienced it myself. I don’t believe it’s intentional; rather, it feels like the staff just get busy and in their own heads. If you need something, they’re typically responsive if you kindly approach the counter. Yes, there’s a small-town, familiar vibe here, and that comes with some “Skagit Valley” quirks. People may joke around and feel more open with familiar faces, which can read as cliquey. Running a restaurant is no small feat, and not everyone in the industry is a customer service pro. Overall, they’re doing well with what they’re working toward. If you’re willing to enjoy yourself, confidently speak up if you need something, and not take things too personally, this is a great spot to relax + have a good meal!

I love this place. They make great drinks. The food is consistently tasty. The service is lovely and the staff is clearly empowered to not put up with any Karenish behaviors (although I'm sure they'd handle it with grace). They're kid-free, which is a blessing for many of us, and a safe space for LGBTQIA+folks (thank you)! My faves are the roasted cauliflower app, the Eggs Benedict (with Prosciutto is magical), the Honeycomb toast, and every drink I've had there (my first cocktail there had Barbie shoes on it and I was immediately nostalgic). Be prepared because the menu changes regularly. They also close for one month (mid-August through m8d-September) every year (so don't worry, they'll be open again soon). Is it perfect? Nope. Very few places are. But what a fun place to spend a weekend morning. Highly recommend.

Martini Brunch is such a fun way to start the morning! The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing, and the drinks! The drinks are so fun and themed with cool garnies including a Barbie shoe, sprinkles, and bacon! This place gets busy fast so the earlier you arrive, the better :)

Fan-double-tastic! Went as a family group of 6 and was delighted by the entire experience! Expect a wait (well worth it) since they don’t take reservations. If it’s nice weather, there’s some shaded tables if you don’t want to walk around the area. The staff are authentically friendly, helpful & stoked to be there. I love that it’s 21+, it’s got a fun vibe, eclectic retro mis-matched plates, mugs, glasses add to the fun vibe. The food is executed with much thought, care and seasoning is spot on! There are unusual pairings that work incredibly well! The cocktails are so fun and all the same price. It’s a welcoming spot and my new favorite place!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

The food was absolutely delicious! I need to go back to try more menu items! They have a fun drink menu, and sparkle memosas! I love a sparkly memosa 😄 The bloody mary was also very good. The dining area is small and its a very popular place. We didn't mind waiting for a table though. The food is well worth the wait.

Everything about this place was great. The food was excellent, service was fast and friendly. Definitely one of the spendier options in MV but I'd say they back it up. We ordered the avocado eggs Benedict and the calabrese stallion. Every component was perfectly executed! The restaurant itself is cute, and it was packed pretty much the whole time we were there on a Sunday 10:30-noon. We did have about a 30 minute wait but we just walked around until they texted us. They have an extensive list of breakfast cocktails, too! All in all, a great addition to MV restaurant scene!

A small group of us visited (for our first time!) for my birthday breakfast. We anticipated that it would be busy and decided to show up right as the staff opened the doors. We promptly got a table and the server was cheerful and eager to answer our questions. I always appreciate recommendations, which she shared. We started with the honeycomb toast which was incredible. Then came the crab mac....that was also delicious!!! All the other dishes were well seasoned and thought out. I loved my crab eggs benedict!! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there!! We have each reminisced at how delicious the food and drinks were and are already planning another visit. Thank you Martini Brunch!

Big space with nice beer-themed decoration. Friendly staff were attentive and accurate. About 20 draft offerings of craft beer and cider, skewing heavily to regional breweries. Decent food menu of pub fare and standards, though prices were a bit high for what it was. Ordered tots topped with cheddar and bacon while the Mrs. ordered the hummus platter. Good-sized portions and fairly tasty. Also, it was nice to have prompt seating and service considering a nearby competitor couldn’t be bothered to have waitstaff on a busy Saturday. Kudos for that.

Lots of beers and wine to choose from. Always something new on tap. The new owners are keeping with the the great foods that I keep going back for. The menu has gotten larger.

Great food, excellent beer selection (no hard alcohol) and a really great atmosphere. Every employee seems to bring their "A" game and ice never had a single poor experience here. There is seating in the front that allows kids, but you're really missing out on the atmosphere and overall experience if you're not in the main seating area. Pick a different place you take your kids. Do go there and stay a while. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food. Portions are large, extremely tasty. Good rotating selections of beers and a pretty good wine list as well. Always friendly staff, and knowledgeable about selections and menu options. I recommend their Cajun Alfredo or burgers (which can have Cajun seasonings added, their bacon blue burger is to die for with or without Cajun seasonings)

Ordered a BYOB (build your own burger) medium done. At first the buns came pretty charred, so I asked for a new warmed one. They were good with replacing it. Price is reasonable. Staff is really nice and understanding. It's fairly quiet inside and various art pieces adorn the walls. Some areas are cozy especially by the fireplace.

We had such a fantastic experience here! The staff made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly welcome. The menu was packed with a variety of Irish dishes, all priced quite reasonably. The restaurant's ambiance truly captured an authentic vibe, from the charming decor to the delightful music. We had the biscuits and gravy, it’s definitely a crave-able dish that will have you returning again!

Lovely waitstaff. Larger location than Everett's. Huge banquet rooms. The shepherd's pie was good, but not super flavorful. Fish and chips was flavorful. The crispy coating is well seasoned. The cornbeef meal was a little shy on the meat.

If your in the mood for home cooked Irish meals this is the spot to stop by! We almost wanted to order everything on the menu! They also have great condiments on the table that we never tried before like Brown sauce, and a horseradish type yellow mustard and was delicious!! I ordered the Shepards pie with Lamb and my wife got Corned beef and cabbage and both were great dinners! This place has become my favorite restaurant to go to!! This is definitely a place I would love to have a birthday dinner at! We started with the poutine fries and soda bread and that really hit the spot! If your in the area we highly rethink place for dinner and or lunch! We WILL be back and will try to knock out as much of the menu as well can to try Everything! This place is a must to try at least once! The service was great super friendly! We stopped by with no reservations but would highly recommend if you do not want to wait a little bit if the bar is full, but kitchen brought out amazing places with tons of flavor! The food was the best I have had in years. We couldn’t decide so we got two dishes and my son had fish and chips. The pot pie was amazing.

Phenomenal place for great food and drinks. Staff was friendly, and the food came out so fast. The soda bread was great. I had the Bangers and Mash with a Guinness, and I couldn't have walked away happier. Will definitely be returning.

We came to Shawn O’Donnell’s after a long day working in the yard, and it was just what we needed! The food was fantastic, and the service was truly exceptional. Even enjoyed a Guinness with our lunch. We enjoyed it so much that we came back on Memorial Day Monday for breakfast on our way to the ferry. The portions were generous, the selection was great, and the service was amazing. Everything was hot and ready in no time—couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Stopped on our way to North Cascades National Park. Definitely a hidden gem! I had the Shepard's Pie, my friends had Guinness Stew and a Cesar Salad with Salmon. All the dishes were delicious! The Scratch Bloody Mary is yummy as well!

So my S.O. called this place as we were walking into the restaurant before we even ate there. Suggesting that it was on the level of an Outback. You'll be able to tell from the photos that our foot sat under the warmers for far to long. The steaks were poorly seasoned and because it sat for too long the doneness was overcooked. The brussel sprouts had no flavor and the sauce was just pool of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Similar for the waffle fries, all the blue cheese was at the bottom of the bowl. Service was sporadic and had many forgotten items that were requested more than once. If you're in the area and are looking for a steak house, skip this one.

Food was good and the right size, well cooked with fresh ingredients. Salad was awesomely fresh. Service and staff are good, however food came to table a little slow.

05/03/2025: The two of us arrived around 5p on a Saturday. It was pretty quiet and only a small number of people in the dining room. Nice because it was so quiet. We ordered calamari, Ribeye and pork chop for dinner and a couple of cocktails. Cocktails were okay, tasty enough. Can't complain about the food overall, everything really good. Calamari was lightly battered and fried. Ribeye was a really decent size and cooked exactly how it was ordered (medium rare). Pork chop was a bit overdone however still a good dish. Service was friendly and attentive. Building is reminiscent of Stuart Anderson's Black Angus. Think tall ceilings, lots of wood, high backed booths. Very nice.

This is going to be long because I want to give you a good idea of what you're walking into before you overpay for something you can get somewhere else for the same price or less. The reality of this place is that it serves overpriced, mid tier steak, to old people who seem to enjoy a quiet, dimly lit, dining experience. My introduction to Max Dale's was the smell of cigarettes immediately as I walked in. It wasn't the best start but I came for the steak not the smell. As I waited for my order, I watched a couple in their 70s across from me who were just getting their food. The husband ordered the Prime Rib but was really struggling to get through it. He was becoming upset. The extremely old, dull, steak knives they supply you with were not doing him any favors. It got so bad he requested a new steak! He got his new Prime Rib and although he admitted to the server that it was more tender than the previous one, he was still unhappy with its quality. He blamed the cut of the meat and the supplier. Luckily, I was not ordering the Prime Rib...or so I thought. I was ordering the Filet Mignon, the most expensive steak on the menu. When my steak arrived, it looked great, no complaints about the presentation. It was also cooked the way that I requested. When I started cutting into it though, it was a bit less tender than I'd come to expect from a Filet. But my biggest issue was the taste, it didn't have flavor, the best way I can describe the taste is that it tasted like beef. Which I don't think is acceptable for a $50 steak. I will say that the sides that I had were good. No complaints about the salad, mashed potatoes, and veggies. This was my first time at Max Dale's since I wanted some local steak without having to drive 20-30 minutes. I probably won't be going back so I can't speak on the other entrees.

I love the space. Food can be hit or miss. I had spare ribs this time. I was a little sad about the steak the last two times. I do enjoy the sides. Broccoli 🥦 was great... not why I went there.

Food was bland. Overpriced for quality and portions. Cocktails meh. Dessert again nothing memorable. Service was great. They have a good staff. I just wish chefs would put their own touch on dishes served. Ordered the prime rib and chicken marsala . Both lacking any perceptible flavor and uniqueness. The sides that accompany them were sad too. I counted 3 small asparagus spears on my plate and a sad small helping of mashed potatoes. I have a greater expectation for a meal that exceeds $100.00.

My family has been coming here since they started back in 70's. Our family has now been coming to this restaurant for 5 generations for business lunches and dinners, to celebrate life events, and date nights. Paul and Danny are like family friends to us. Their hospitality is unmatched. When we make reservations or walk-ins, Paul and Danny make time to come to our table no matter the occasion is always special. This place will and always be a family favorite for more generations to come within our family. Cant say anything bad about the staff and how this place creates a following. Cheers to Max Dales and what this place does for the Skagit Valley.

Very cool restaurant! Amazing Cajun food! Nice service, cool building. The Shrimp dip and Hush Puppies were my favorite! The Catfish, Fish and Chips, Alligator bites, Crawfish Etouffee and the Seafood Pasta were all very good! The only thing we weren't a big fan of was the seafood Gumbo, it was very watery/thin. We will definitely take the drive and go back!

The waitresses were really friendly and were attentive. The service was super slow but the Cajun shrimp dip was so good! Jambalaya was missing a lot of flavor in my opinion. Overall happy with the environment except for extended wait times just sitting around on my phone. At least I was not in a hurry ☻

What a pleasant surprise to find this spot!! So delicious!!! We got gumbo, seafood pasta, and alligator bites. And we were excited because there's a phot on the right when you entered, (see pics) of a tree lined path- we've been there! It's called Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana.

Higher end dining, price wise. The atmosphere is wonderful. Service was a bit slow. We had the alligator bites for an appetizer, my husband tried the special that was a chicken and mushroom dish. He said it was delicious. I had a seafood pasta dish that was wonderful as well. The pasta are huge, I ended up with most of it as take away. They do HSBC an outside courtyard with access is from outside only. They do have some gluten free options as well. Parking is on a one way street.

The menu is different which is nice. Very flavorful. It was a bit over priced however. The drinks were weak. I would definitely go back though. They don't serve jambalaya till 4 though just an FYI.

Absolutely safe, stunning, and supple in space and atmosphere! In walking distance of the river walk and the food AND restaurant is inviting. Don’t be shocked at their affordable burgers! They are bursting with flavor and the atmosphere is easy to get lost in.

I thought the food here was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh . My absolute favorite was the shrimp . Well kept buffet . The employees were all very nice . Plenty of seating . I ate here twice while staying at the hotel next door.

Got recommended this place years ago by a former boss and randomly went this evening, oh man the food is so good for a buffet- nothing seemed like it was out of rotation, everything was cooked perfectly. 10/10 coming here again whenever I'm going to my trips south of whatcom and north from Arlington.

This day I was in the mood for a buffet. Not to gorge on but for the variety of foods. There were all the standard dishes that you usually find at a Asian buffet. Worthy of mention are the BBQ pork ribs. Also the spicy chicken and egg foo young . Everything was delicious. Service was top notch as well. The place was clean and well organized. Price was about $20.00 included tip. If you are craving All you can eat Asian buffet I do recommend this one.

They have a lot of different options and I love the Mongolian Grill! The only problem is we gone a couple times after a hot day and it was too warm inside, so I was uncomfortable. I love the seafood options and plenty of different desserts. The American food isn’t very good but who goes to a Chinese buffet for American food?

Great place for price, variety, and friendly service. Quite a few options of turf and surf. They even have a personal grilling chef. The price is reasonable, and nowadays it is quite hard to find buffets of this type. I went during lunch on a weekday, and my friend says even more variety on weekends and dinner, but prices slightly more. Highly recommend it.

Every time we go to this place, we always get a really good service. Everybody is friendly and the place is nice and clean. Plus every time some of the employees are funny and they want us to learn some Chinese. As well, so loved it.

Quite impressed with the variety of choices this buffet has! You can find everything including seafood, meat, veggies, fruits, desserts, sushi, soup, salads. They even had a stirfry bar where you select your ingredients and a chef stir fried it right in front of you. The price is very affordable as well (only $10.99 for lunch and $18.99 for dinner, or $6.99 for a box of takeout). The service was also very good, each section of tables had a waiter who is very attentive in clearing your used dishes and refilling your drinks. Left feeling very full, only wish I had a larger stomach so I could've tried more dishes.

Came across this place while trying to wait out 2 accidents on the freeway. Everything i tried was good. Lots of parking good location and easy to access other directions of i5. Prices are pretty standard. Portions were okay.

Very kind service, and attentive too (only one other party dining in so good service was expected). Nice and hot tea and our drinks were consistently topped up. The egg rolls are vegetarian and the red sauce that came with it was great! The pork wonton soup was spectacular. The orange chicken was rather bland; it could have used more sauce and more orange flavor. The chicken itself was lightly battered and crispy, which was good. The vegetables fried rice had a great amount of greens and eggs.. Super yummy!

Very good, fresh food. We ordered take out and were greeted very nicely, food was ready on time and we really enjoyed what we ordered. This was our first time trying this restaurant and we were all very pleased. Definitely will order again next time we crave Asian cuisine 😊

I am delightfully amazed at how delicious everything was! The Mongolian beef was perfectly prepared tender, flavorful. The chicken was fresh, and the soup was absolutely awesome. The service was first class from start to finish. Servers kept my drinks full, greeted me with a warm welcome and genuine smiles, definitely enjoyed my time. Soooo My daughter ordered egg flower soup for me because I have Covid. They were supposed to be closing but left it outside for my daughter to pick up! I have been coming here for many years. They are polite, accommodating and such good food! 10 out of 10 for me!

So, my wife ordered house special ho fun, almond chicken, one cup of steamed rice, and extra almond chicken gravy. For delivery, to surprise me after work with my favorite chicken dish after work. The amount of "extra" sauce was less than what is normally given for an order if you sit down with no extra asked for. The kick in the pants, was she tipped 10 bucks on top of their price. Joke is on this company, I am going to dispute the charges with the bank. Incomplete order, no pay no tip.

Came in for dinner and ordered the Birria dish with rice, beans, and flour tortilla along with the Perfect Margarita. Was given chips & salsa to snack on during the wait. Came hungry and left super stuffed! Great food & service. The server was very kind. I'll be coming back when I pass through the area in the future.

Best Nachos I Have Tried In My Life! They have just cracked the code on nachos. Their attempt at perfecting the nacho is a Sucess! I am only writing this because I just had the most flavorful, artfully ballanced, fresh and crispy nachos. They must be going for the world title. 9.9/10

Food wasn't that good. I ordered a burrito, and I wanted carnitas, but they don't have that. What Mexican restaurant does not have Carnitas for meat? I'm shocked. Their food isn't that good though. Wasn't very pleased. And it was very pricey.

This was a great find heading from the island back to the Seattle area. I've passed by so many times and can now say it is worth the stop! The chips are made in house with house made tortillas and you can tell, they are so good. The salsa has great chili flavor and the seasoning on the steak fajitas was other worldly. The special was fantastic, and so well priced. Service was fast and our server was Michelle was wonderful, we will definitely be back for more of that steak and friendly staff!!

I drive by this place all the time, and at lunchtime, it's packed, so today I went a little early 1130 to try it out! Well, I was not disappointed! I had lunch fajitas and it doesn't come out sizzling like most places but the display was very nice and the flavor of the meat was amazing!! It actually had seasoning 😆 I was shocked! Everything was very good and I swear it was only 12.50, I think ? I could be wrong, but I was shocked most places this would be a lot more. I will definitely be back with mi esposa 😆

I went here for the first time yesterday with my husband and toddler son. We are not local (we live on the Kitsap Peninsula) but we enjoyed our visit here. They are very kid friendly and had affordable kids options. We weren’t given a kids menu but were happy to find out that there was one to order off of for our son. I had the shrimp diablo and my husband ate the dish that had lots of crab. Mine was great and spicy and my husband seemed to like his too. I think the food is reasonably affordable for WA state and had big portions. They offer free chips and good salsa too. It’s not a “fancy” Mexican restaurant but I think that’s for the best! Casual family style Mexican restaurants tend to have better food in my experience.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Washington! The Chile Verde is actually Denver Green Chili, which is a dish derived from Chile Verde but has soared into a dish unto itself. Service is great, reasonably priced for what you are getting. Bring an appetite!

Okay I took my man for his first time to IHop because he wanted some good old fashioned pancakes . Good thing he ordered something other than just pancakes because when he started to eat his cakes they split apart completely. We know that happens when the batter isn’t made right or it’s old batter. Whether it was this or that we were surly disappointed in the cakes at the International House of Pancakes. There’s other things I could complain on but the cakes is the main thing why I’m posting this review …

Very busy today. Line to be seated about 10 minutes. 10 am on a Friday. Got seated, server kept walking past us, 3 times more carrying dishes for the kitchen, receipts for customers, credit card machine. I put my menu on the table, server says in passing I'll be right with you. Server then checks out other persons, clears dishes from a table, finally comes to us, can I start you with something to drink, I tell server we also know what we want to order. This way we didn't have to wait longer to place our order later. Half of our meal came out, waiting on pancakes. Pancakes were overcooked, brown and separated when cut. Not very enjoyable!

These people take care. The moment you step in it is beautifully decorated. Staff warm and welcoming. Food absolutely delicious. Pancakes perfect. Omelettes warm and stuffed. Thank you for extra attention to anticipating and meeting desires. Come and have a good experience

The dinning room was clean and the wait staff was friendly enough. As I am old my dinner was free, and free always tastes better. Took a bit to get our food but that means they were making it fresh.

Good food and fast service. They looked short staffed because there were a lot of employ tables but the waitress and waiters were still very friendly and quick to take our order and get the food out to us. There was a little bit of a wait but worth it. Food was hot and tasty. I had the new eggs Benedict, which were pretty delicious. if you’re in town, check it out!

We hadn't been here in a while because of past experiences but decided to try them again and i have to say that they have greatly improved since i was last here. Their wait staff was friendly. Place looked cleaner and their food options improved. We had the avocado toast, the strawberry and banana fluffy French toast, and the blueberry ricotta lemon fluffy French toast. The French toast is so delicious. I wasnt sure if i was going to like the ricotta but turned out to be my favorite. Will definitely visit soon.

This was the worst experience at an IHOP. I have been a server for 20 years, and I understand the struggles of being alone on the Floor. The staff are nott set up for success. We waited for 30 minutes for water. I can see the poor girl was by her self. That was the last time I saw her. 2 more servers came on and the disappeared. After 40 minutes we finally got our order in, I asked for water and tobacco and she had to go to kitchen to get it? Weird. Why are these thing at easy access? No one came back we had to hunt down to go box. No apologies to us or acknowledgment. Won't go back

TLDR: finally a Taste of India that is legitimately a taste of India. We came here for dinner on the way to the Cascades - I had my reservations about how good it would be because of how picky I am about India food. Safe to say, this place really does do a fantastic job. We ordered the paneer tikka masala, Baingan bharta, paratha and the coffee ice cream. Everything was fabulous. The baingan bharta was actually smoked and you could taste it - 💯 The coffee ice cream was really the highlight for me though (so much so that we came back the next day on our way back from the cascades, lol). It’s homemade and uses South Indian style coffee (with chicory!) I’m very pleased with my experience here. I will say, we ordered a spice level 4 and I think it overwhelmed the other flavors. I would recommend sticking with a level 3.

Great indian place! We had Lamb Biriyani and some other lamb curry with coconut in it. Both tasted great. They ask you beforehand your intended spice level, and they know their spices. We took the maximum spice level and it was really spicy! Loved this! I personally preferred the curry more than the biriyani. We also had the Pakora Platter, that was quite average. But the Saffron Ice cream we had as dessert was really good! The place was quite nice overall, as well as the food. Recommended if you want to experience good spicy indian food.

Cool old building. Kinda neat dark old vibe. Great waitress . Nigiri was outstanding. The krokkoro really crispy on the outside and so creamy inside with a sweet and savory steak sauce. So good. The yellowtail roll was good but the smoked salmon was a really nice .

It’s our second time here. The restaurant has unique scenery. All food are delicious. Service is so nice and friendly. This time we ordered Bento, Tempura, and Ramen. They all are fresh and tasty, especially Ramen which is flavorsome. We do love eating here.

I asked what the most popular burrito is and the waitress told me the Macho Burrito. I got it with Carne Asada. I found out why it is popular. Not only is it big but it was very good. I couldn't eat the whole thing.

Vegetarians be warned, the options here are absolutely bland, bland, bland. I received a tortilla filled with plain unseasoned white rice, beans, and a few green bell peppers and onions. Not even the veggies had a hint of any seasoning. The burrito was smothered in a weird tomato-y sauce that tasted like it was from a can and left an awful aftertaste. They don’t add any cheese at all. I told the server it was completely unseasoned and bland and he shrugged and said, “Yes, that’s because it’s vegetarian.” My response was, “So I don’t get food that tastes good?” By far the worst vegetarian dish I’ve had the displeasure of eating in a Mexican restaurant.

New place for us to discover. The food was wonderful. I had crab and shrimp relleno, it was really good! I really liked the complimentary fresh chips and salsa. The chips were served warm, and their salsa was delicious. The atmosphere was fun, the chairs are all very colorful. Pricing were very reasonable.

It was our first time eating here and it was the best experience and food I’ve gotten in Skagit. The service was amazing! They checked in a whole bunch and our food was out so fast. Javier was our server and he was just amazing! Such a family friendly place and we will be back there from now on!!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. We had the trio fajitas. Steak, chicken, and shrimp on a bed of sautéed carrots, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions. All cooked to perfection. Food was great as was portions. Only negative part was they decided to clean the floors during our meal and all I could taste was the lemon cleaner! I mentioned it to the waitress that it was not a good thing to do!

I'm in love with the sizzling shrimp! I drive up at least 2-3 times a month just to have that! When I lived in Mount Vernon, I ate there two or three times a week now I've been south EVERETT and I drive up the staff. There is always very friendly to me. They know me and they know my order. The shrimp is always cooked to perfection and they alter it just as I ask cause I don't eat broccoli extra peas, extra zucchini yummy

This bar and grill is to die for. My husband and I have probably had every burger on their menu after a round of golf at Overlook. Their potato salad is home made and so tasty. All veggies on the burgers are cut for each burger. And there is nothing skimpy on the these burgers. Each one comes with a knife right in the middle, they are that big!! The fish and chips are fresh and HUGE!! Coleslaw is hand made fresh. Worth every penny. And Annie is the best waitress and one busy girl. Thank you Annie 😊 And they have 2 old rusty cars out front and one has bushes growing inside. So cool.

My first time there, was a pleasant experience, had the fish and chips, it was worth my discovery, good drinks, if you like, I felt comfortable there, I was alone too. Felt like I fit right in with the locals, who were various, young and older. Bikers,hunters,fishing,classic cars, it was a breath of fresh air away from home. I had never even heard of them before, and was just on a drive to see the country up there. Lucky folks hope to make it back sometime.🤗✌🎶

A cute "hole in the wall" kind of place. I always saw it busy when driving by and we wanted a fun place to have a dinner after work. Food was very good, so were the drinks and atmosphere. Service seemed a bit slow but the servers were very nice and friendly and we were not in a hurry so it didn't really bother me. I had the panko fish and chips, a very generous portion, and the seasonal drink "Christmas tree" I think, perfectly sweet and fruity.

We stopped in for a glass of wine & nibble on a rainy Tuesday afternoon and Big Lake B&G did not disappoint! Erica took exceptionally good care of us and with her suggestion of the Coconut Prawn appetizer, she was spot “prawn” on!! It was perfect! Hot from the tiny kitchen, expertly prepared! Sitting at the bar we met one of the locals, John, he was a pure gentleman full of stories. We will most definitely return for happy hour, live music & maybe even some karaoke!!

Hi everyone! We stopped at this BBQ’s place the other day and this was our experience. The servers were very friendly and answered all the questions about the menu. The food was great, I had the Cowboy trio and my favorite meat was the chicken! The cowboy beans were tasty…be prepared because they’re sweet, and the cornbread was very good as well. Recommended!

Wow! I’m impressed, this place has amazing pulled pork and ribs, and the spicy beans are flavorful and pretty amazing. Very friendly staff and quick service. I’m dairy-free and gluten-free, and this place accommodated those allergies. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a lettuce wrap, no bun, and it was just the ticket. My daughter ordered the ribs and spicy cornbread and loved it.

Good Food and People at the drive thru BBQ place. Was expensive, spent $70+ for 5 meaty ribs, 1-1/2 lbs of brisket and beans. It's BBQ and respectfully they can charge what they want. I get it... This was a onetime vacation purchase for a local family reunion. Probably would look elsewhere next time for more affordable options, that would give my family more food for our buck.

We got the pulled pork sandwich and the Trailboss which comes with 2 ribs and 1/4 chicken, your choosing of dark or white meat. Comes with a side of your choosing so we got the potato salad and mac & cheese. We opt for the spicy bbq and happy we did.

I can’t fully express how impressed I am with Kelley’s — not just their food, but their team, too. I wanted to spoil a company partner of ours and didn’t really know how I should order. They asked me questions, offered the perfect solution and really cared to know it was the right one. Food was incredible (brisket, pulled pork, chicken, slaw, potato salad and corn bread were so good. But, those beans — hot diggity). In all of my excitement, I forgot to snag my receipt (much to our bookkeeper’s dismay). The next day, I called (during lunch rush, I realized) and sheepishly asked if there was any way to get a copy of it. “Not a problem at all”, they said, “we know how important that is!” Not even 5 minutes later, I got a call saying they found it and were going to text it me. If these little things matter to them, just think how much love they put into their food (spoiler: you can taste it). Thank you, Kelley’s — can’t wait to come back soon!

If you have never eaten here GO NOW!! This place is AMAZING! The ladies working here were the nicest, kindest people and were completely dedicated to making sure we had nothing less than a phenomenal dining experience. My coworker and I had driven past this place many times but never stopped, and now I'm kicking myself! We both had the brisket French dip w/au jous sandwich special and not only was the brisket tender and melt-in-your-mouth good, but the creamy horseradish and BBQ sauce that came with it were top shelf full of flavor. Also, my search for good mac & cheese in WA has officially ended: theirs is hearty and creamy without being overdone or over-worked and had just the right amount of seasoning. We were also offered a sample of the cowboy beans and I can tell you for a fact these were the best damn baked beans I've ever had, and I grew up just outside of Boston! I treated us to their oatmeal butterscotch cookies and... Oh my Gawd! Delicious! They must have someone's grandma imprisoned in the basement! The food is made with large amounts of love, the service is exceptional, and we will make it point to stop here EVERY time we come through here from now on. Google should allow 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A lovely hidden gem next to a bowling alley. Service was attentive, professional and just the right blend of taking care of the table while giving space for us to enjoy. Almond fried chicken and Mongolian beef definitely worth presence at the table. Both soups were prepared well, traditional, balanced and served in cups that keep them hot. Also, v nice touch to begin our lunch with complimentary hot tea service, served just after being seated on a cold, rainy day. Would love to return for dinner when the full menu is offered, but certainly happy with the lunch specials. The prices are more than fair considering the portions, and we took a ton of food home. So fun to find a spot like this... Simple yet delicious and definitely memorable enough to come back again. Thanks for the great meal 🙏

I was hungry for Chinese food so I decided to stop in the Dragon Inn Restaurant, first time here. Upon arrival, it looked pretty shady, since the entrance wasn't really visible or clear, but I was pleasantly surprised with the interior design. To top it off, there were bible verses and christian music playing in the restaurant, which took me by an even bigger surprise! I totally love it!!! Food was top tier, I got egg rolls and shrimp friend rice, very tasty. My server, John was fast to seat me, serve my food, & made sure I was good for the time I ate here. Definitely recommend this place and I will be back for more. 5 star ⭐

This unassuming restaurant has some hidden charm. Chef George is cranking out some good fare. While the current menu is fixed I highly recommend any special he throws your way. The bar is currently being renovated so they are limited. However the bar tenders are not limited on hospitality and resourcefulness. I look forward to seeing the business revamped and growing into itself. Help them do so by your local support!

Meat good. Need manly portions depends on the client, especially in this compition/service. environment. Add a item for promotion at a almost wholesale value price. Once you cater to the client specifically then you're able to establish a good unit of sale. The intention is toward the customer so therefore what you put back into your environment you feed into yourself.

This is a good restaurant with good food. It also tastes very good. The service is quick, although it sometimes 'slows down' a bit. Menu is not to big, but is diverse enough for everyone to find something of their liking. If you stay in the Best Western next door, you even get a 15% discount on the bill. Just remember that the entrance is 'in the back' of the building, next to the Best Western. On the front side is something else, although it does show a sigh of the Bistro on the roof.

I have eaten here multiple times, and was able to be an stagiaire with the Chef, George. I have seen him work specials, I've seen him make many items from scratch with ingredients that would be difficult to work with, for some of those dishes. I can say the kitchen is clean and I've also had the pleasure to watch him work the pans on heat. He knows what he's doing. A person Like that is literally only limited by the amount of creative control he's allowed to have. In small towns like this, chefs of that esteem are hard to come by, and he doesn't dissapoint. This evening I had a coconut curry seafood dish and it was better than most Thai dishes. I miss being in the industry when I watch people like him work, and when I get to talk to them for hours on end about food. Cheers, this place has great potential, and I could only hope that management has and will have the amount of passion for food that the chef does. Eat here.

Good when it's open

I went here for years, know the owners, this time around, I asked for hot spicy beef yakasobi. I got alot of pepper flakes sprinkled in it, has no flavor to the beef, the owner can cook better than this. The food is very dry. I called the place, they made it right thanks but its still too spicy.

5 stars! The rice is nice and sticky and with soy sauce, chefs kiss. The sushi has the perfect texture and has very soft rice delicious!

This place is fantastic! Great service, vibe, and food! I love the tempura sushi, the beef teriyaki, and the crab rangoon! Amazing serving sizes with even better value. Highly recommend this place!!!

First time here with my grandson, Anthony, and we are definitely going back! The Egg Roll appetizers were Absolutely 💯 Wonderful. The Sushi appetizers were Great. The Brisket and Meatball Pho was Great. The staff was very nice and definitely on task. Prices were good. The restaurant was very clean. Like I said, I can't wait to back.

!WOW! Worth it! Stop halfway on my trip between my doctor and Everett and my home up in concrete. This is an amazing place. My doctor actually said that I needed to eat pho today with lots of vegetables so that it helped in my healing of the damage from a car accident that I was in. I was in a lot of pain so I thought this would be great to get an opportunity to stretch my legs and so I look for something good in this area and this is right off the freeway. Easy to get to. Amy your service is amazing. The food is top bar I love pho and this is excellent beef broth. then I ordered extra vegetables and they also have a topping bar where I got some basil but just a caution. You only need a little bit of it cuz this is really high quality spicy basil and it's not something you eat straight but it's excellent in the soup. I also added some jalapeno peppers but the spice already had enough flavor and kick to it and I just can't stop eating. The beef slices were on the large size and on one of them I couldn't bite into it cuz it was kind of grisly and they immediately replaced it with several slices of smaller pieces and I'm good to go. This is a really customer service oriented place and if you come here you will be delighted. I'm also ordering the yakisobe to go for my husband and I bet they'll wok stuff is just really good. I can hear it sizzling as the stir fry it up fresh for me. Next time I'll try the bubble tea. They have a actual bubble tea bar off to the side. Kinda nice to see all the choices that are available. Upbeat music. Beautiful atmosphere. Super clean.

My first time here and it was fairly busy the wait staff was super nice and polite I was sat right away. I already knew I was was having Pho tai as its my favorite. I had a large and was very satisfied with the portion size as its only a dollar more for a large. The flavor of the soup was close but a bit on the sweet side I still enjoyed it very much . The noodle texture was perfect and I mean I'm picky about this!! So big compliments there. If I had to complain about anything is the sprouts and basil were in water and that wasn't the issue its that the water seemed cloudy a lil dirty if you will, but I still got what I needed and didn't get sick lol ! But again that was my only complaint . I WILL definitely be back as this is the best Pho I've had in the area. And I live in Oak harbor and work in Anacortes so I'm talking about a big area lol !

6:30pm on a Saturday and there was a line out the door! So of course we come in as a group of 7 lol! Didn’t have to wait long, service was excellent! My only complaint is that I’m so used to wooden chopsticks that their nice ones did not grip well in my hands! I had one helluva time eating my Pho! I ordered the steak Pho (well done) and it was really good! My grandson had the grilled chicken Pho which was even better! The 7 of us were all very happy with our food (all got Pho except my hubby who got beef teriyaki) Egg rolls were also tasty! Large portions, enough for yummy leftovers, so really you are getting 2 meals out of your order. Despite it being incredibly busy (always a good sign) the service and food were fantastic!

I've always thought they had great Mexican food here. I especially love the quesadillas as they put lots of cheese on them and onions on the side. I will give a warning about their sauces to anyone who hasn't eaten here before, as they can be a bit spicy.

Very flavorful Asada tacos. Delicious hot sauce options. Wish they had a hot red sauce that wasn't fire though. We really enjoyed our food here.Prices are on the steeper side-$3 per a small taco. I had 5 and was pretty full. Service was not existent as you order at the counter, fill up your own water and no on the comes to check on you.

This isn't just the best Mexican food I've ever had, it is the best food I've ever had, period. I would eat here, everyday, if I lived in the area. They use incredibly good ingredients. Everything tastes unusually fresh. They make the best hot sauces I've ever had. I recommend the adobada burrito. When I think "authentic Mexican food," this is the place I think of. Everyone I have taken there has been amazed by the quality. I can't say enough about this place. Eat here, as soon as possible. Even in Mexico, I've never found anything better... in Mount Vernon, WA, of all places.

Great place to eat authentic Maxican food. We had hueros rancheros.....nice hot sauces to go with it. Definitely a place we will go back to. Reasonable prices and the atmosphere is like a Mexican cantina. Corn Tortillas tasted like home made, nice and fluffy 😋

Update: stopped in for lunch. The woman at the cash register was rude and wouldn’t listen to my nor other customers orders. Then it felt like we were charged whatever she felt like charging. my friend was charged $20 then when we walked away she stuffed what should have been his change in the tip jar. I will be back, I just hope it was an off day. Old review: The food is amazing. Showed up with a group of 6 after a long day. We all ordered multiple rounds of food and could not stop eating. I had the menudo and two tacos. The adobada is delightful. The beer is all cold and served with a chili lime mix on the rim. I will be getting the mole next time. Watch out though, the salsa is spicy!

I've been trying to find the next best authentic Mexican food after finding another food truck near me that was killer. This place by far beats what I'm used to and set a new bar for flavor and presentation. Anahi at the front was amazing! So kind and helpful and works her butt off! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Waited an uncomfortably long time for 3 burritos that were mediocre and really disappointing. Only saving grace was the Mexican history channel playing while I waited. HIGHLY recommend finding another place to get your Mexican food fix.
