Moqueca Brazilian Restaurant is a relaxed and contemporary spot in Thousand Oaks, offering the best of Brazilian cuisine with a focus on Espirito Santo dishes. The restaurant's traditional clay pot specialties, succulent shrimp, flavorful steaks, and delightful desserts provide an authentic taste of Brazil's coastal cuisine. Guests praise the personalized service and welcoming atmosphere that make dining here a cherished experience.
Such a treat to go here. I've dined here just a handful of times over the past 5 years and it's consistently wonderful. Servers are lovely! This time I ordered two of the traditional cocktails, Caipirinha and they were SO good.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. I had the seabass Moqueca. Everyone enjoyed their food. Even the flan was one of the best I've ever had. Service was also excellent. If I lived closer, I'd go back often.
Kim L — Google review
Amazing at every level. Food is top notch, high quality and staff is top tier. Heart of Palm appetizer with bread is a staple. we tried the steak skewers tonight and they were amazing as well. Dessert menu just showed up so I’m going to stop typing.
Sean W — Google review
My husband and I enjoy having Lunch here. The food is delicious and well prepared. Our favorite dish is Moqueca with fish and shrimp. Their cocktails are very flavorful “Brazilian Rose” is my favorite. Banana Frita (fried plantains) are always included. Service is great and prompt.
ME Q — Google review
Came in with my mother and ordered palm hearts salad, yucca, fried plantains & skewers. 10/10 for all dishes! Service was excellent and the food was exceptional! I have tried fried yucca in the past, and this blew it out of the water. Will be coming again very soon!

What lovely restaurant in the heart of Thousand Oaks. Quite close to the civic center for dinner before an event. Fish soup is their specialty. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices. Appetizers and main courses (I had the white sea bass) were full of flavor...I kept thinking of the "flavor party" happening in my mouth after every bite. Plenty of close parking, staff was pleasant, helpful & efficient. I give this place two thumbs up and plan to visit again soon. Oh yes, do try the coconut flan for desert...you'll thank me.
Ed R — Google review
First time eating here, it was really good. We had the double order of Sea bass (2x) for 5 people. Plenty of food. I loved the sauce that came with it. I will return this was very enjoyable.
Scott S — Google review
Lovely dinner! The waiter was extremely helpful and friendly, and his recommendations did not disappoint. Definitely recommend the signature dish- the moqueca. The shrimp and shellfish were cooked beautifully and if you aren't familiar with Brazilian cuisine, this is a great introduction to it. Atmosphere is very calm and welcoming, so much so that it was lovely even on a quiet Monday evening. Perfect for birthdays, date nights, or work events.

Indian restaurant
Karma Indian Cuisine is a delightful haven for those seeking authentic Indian flavors in a cozy setting. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere, enhanced by vibrant artwork and warm colors, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Guests can indulge in a variety of homestyle dishes that showcase traditional recipes made with fresh ingredients. Standout options include the Madrasi chicken, lamb korma, and khoya paneer—each dish bursting with aromatic spices and rich flavors.
This is a nice place for a meal. The service is always great - the staff genuinely feels appreciative for your business, which these days is so uncommon it almost takes some getting used to. But the attention to detail, the desire to make sure you have what you need, Karma delivers on that. I will say, the food is... Alright. It's not my favorite in the area, but it's certainly not bad. If you like spicy food, they offer a chili paste with a lot of flavor and bite that is really nice. For lunch, the combos are a great deal and you get a lot of different flavors. Lots of vegetable options as well as meat.
Michael G — Google review
The service and atmosphere were great! We had lunch special. My order of malai kofta came with rice, naan, dhal, curry, and a sweet. The malai kofta tasted great. The rest of the items were just ok. The staff was very polite and pleasant! Great value for the money!
Usha G — Google review
This place is so awesome. Dark wood interior gives it an antimate and cozy vibe. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet couples night or a memorable small family gathering. We had samosas for appetizer (perfectly fried), lamb madrasi, and shrimp mango. The shrimp mango honestly was one the best dishes we've ever had. It felt like some Indian equivalent of Honey Walnut Shrimp, but honestly way way better. We were literally scraping the mango sauce off the plate with our garlic naan. We can't wait to come back on a rainy day and have some hot chai. This place is the most inviting and warm spot. We live right next door so can't wait to make another stroll down to Karma.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The flavors were incredibly rich and authentic, and the service was great. The buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of dishes to sample, all of which were fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself was spotless and well-managed, adding to the overall ambiance. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options to suit every taste. I highly recommend this gem in Thousand Oaks. It’s truly one of the best Indian restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting, from coast to coast! 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 stars if I could! 😊👏

Awesome Indian restaurant. The only Indian restaurant in Thousand Oaks worth spending on. We visit every month at least. Enjoy the unlimited Indian Buffett with loads of tasty delights on Friday Saturday and Sunday. The owners will take great care of you. Must visit place in Thousand Oaks.

The food was delicious and the service was incredibly friendly! I had the tadka daal and it was the perfect consistency and balance of spices! Will definitely come here again!

Cocktail bar
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Westlake Village, Finney's Crafthouse & Kitchen is a vibrant gastropub that perfectly blends global and American flavors. With its charming brick and wood accents, this inviting spot offers an extensive selection of craft beers and handcrafted cocktails alongside a menu filled with elevated pub classics. Diners can indulge in gourmet burgers, artisanal flatbreads, hearty salads, and seasonal dishes that highlight local produce.
A great sports bar with a family atmosphere. My wife and I had several crafted beers, Waygu deluxe burger and a most excellent salad. My hats off to the owner of the company and their staff, the service was out standing. Oh! The beer selection was most excellent.
James — Google review
Chanced upon exceptional pub food at Finney's on my way up the coast. It was so good that I made sure to go again on my way back to So Cal (ordered the same thing). Great tasting Mahí Mahi tacos with a solid portion of grilled meat. The onion rings were the best I've had in a long time. Large selection of West Coast craft beers, too.
Stephen O — Google review
Our hotel recommended Finney's Crafthouse for our last dinner in the USA, and it turned out to be an absolute highlight of all the meals we enjoyed during our two-week holiday! Despite being a busy evening and not having a reservation, the service was surprisingly quick and efficient. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The Bison Burger was a standout, and my partner raved about the Yuzo Buffalo hot wings. The spice level and the accompanying sauce were, in their words, absolutely perfect. Finney's also boasts an impressive selection of beers. As a fan of IPAs, I particularly enjoyed their fruity option. The only minor downside was the noise level inside. It was quite loud, which made conversation a little challenging at times. Overall, Finney's Crafthouse provided a memorable and delicious end to our South West adventure. We highly recommend it!
Halide E — Google review
Finneys is one of my go to places for good food and drinks. Everything on the menu is good. I usually get the impossible taco salad but this time I tried the pork tacos- they were delicious! My husband has tried all the burgers and tried the waygu burger this time. He said it was good but the classic finneys burger or the bison burger are the best. We also got the buffalo cauliflower which is delicious! The pizzas are delicious and so are the sandwiches. The service is also always very good.
Rebecca C — Google review
Wow, it's really crowded. It's noisy because it's like a sports bar. The pizza was delicious and the beer was delicious, but the servers were so busy that they seemed distracted. It's a place worth visiting at least once.
M P — Google review
Oh. My. God. The food we ordered was absolutely PERFECT. I don’t know if I’ve ever been able to say that about a restaurant, like ever. We ordered the Carnitas Nachos and The Bacon and Bleu Burger. Both were some of the best food I’ve ever put in my mouth. Will seek this place out for sure the next time I’m in Cali. Excited to try the rest of the menu based on our first trip. Atmosphere was great, service was great. 10/10 experience.
Jared G — Google review
COCONUT SHRIMP OMG!!! Those of you, that know us will laugh. This coconut shrimp is so good the we have to order one to take home. Seriously. I know sounds crazy, but we don't live in California so it is a treat when we can have it. Mind you, I don't get any of the order that comes home. Lol. Finney's is always packed. Definitely make a reservation. Finney's has a couple of locations. Their menu offers something for everyone, but is primarily pub and gastropub focused. The menu offers great happy hour drink and food specials. Definitely worth the trip. The burgers never disappoint and the tuna apps are among our faves. Because we usually order a couple of appetizers, I usually opt for a salad. They have kindly accommodated requests pertaining to leaving an item off or adding one already on the menu and have specific protocols for meeting allergy requirements. Finney's appears to be very bar oriented. It is loud and bustling. With bar and long high top group tables, regular table and both seating inside, table and even firetabke seating outside Finney's has a comfortable space for everyone. Many families come in, enjoying a great family meal with kids of all ages. Finney's is a hidden gem. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
J P — Google review
Finney’s is hands-down one of the best sports bars in the area. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick snack, enjoying one of their many beers on draft, or catching the big game, Finney’s delivers every time. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it the perfect spot for hanging out with friends, enjoying a date night, or just relaxing solo at the bar. The menu is extensive, the food comes out quickly, and everything is very reasonably priced compared to similar places in town. If you’re looking for a great spot to watch sports, enjoy a wide beer selection, and grab quality food without breaking the bank, Finney’s is the place to be. You won’t regret it.

Tuscany il Ristorante is a charming trattoria nestled in the heart of Westlake Village, where diners can indulge in an authentic Italian culinary journey. This polished eatery boasts a warm yet upscale ambiance, making every guest feel special. The menu features a delightful array of traditional dishes, including handcrafted pasta and expertly prepared seafood, all curated by the talented chef/owner Tommaso Barletta.
I don't know how I found this place but I'm very happy I did. We were just passing through and decided to grab dinner, and my expectations were surpassed! I decided to request a reservation via Google search, arrived to a large parking lot in an obviously affluent area. The restaurant was easy to find and the staff was funny and friendly. We were sat and not once did we ever feel like we needed to flag down a staff because they were so attentive, fun, humorous and really created a nice environment. Now, the food, I fully expected boxed pasta however, I was wrong! I ordered a lasagna off their specials menu and my husband ordered pumpkin tortellini and we both received lovely handmade pasta and great portion sizes! We also split a minestrone soup that had fresh ingredients it was a good appetizer. They offered table bread that was addicting! Your water glass will not go empty because again the staff are very attentive. Really glad to have found this restaurant! Oh, and their double chocolate cake was insanely chocolatey! Do it.

Review for Tuscany il Ristorante – Westlake Village I had never been to Tuscany il Ristorante before, but my date has been coming here for years and told me how incredible it was. From the moment we walked in, I could see why. Immediately upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the bar staff—handshakes, hugs, smiles, the whole Italian hospitality experience. Tommaso, the owner, was there, and I received the most amazing hug. He knows my date very well, and you could just feel the deep-rooted connections this place has with its patrons. What really stood out was the personal attention to detail. When we walked in, Tommaso made sure to take my handbag and hang it up, helped me with my coat, and pulled out my chair so I could sit at the bar. It was just amazing—kind of like being a guest in someone’s home. That’s exactly how I felt. We only sat at the bar that night since we already had dinner plans elsewhere, but we knew we’d be back the next evening for a full meal with friends. When we returned for our reservation, it was even more magical. There were six of us, and once again, we were greeted like family. Tommaso and the entire staff exuded warmth, charm, and a genuine love for what they do. The camaraderie between the employees was evident, and it’s clear that Tommaso treats his team with the same respect and kindness he extends to his guests. One of the highlights of the evening was Tommaso’s tableside pasta demonstration—a simple yet exquisite dish made without milk or butter, just pasta, pasta water, cheese, and expertise. The result? Absolute perfection. For my entrée, I had the Chilean miso chili sea bass, and it was outstanding—sweet, flaky, and bursting with flavor. It was the kind of dish that makes you forget what anyone else at the table ordered because you’re so enamored with every bite. There was warm, fresh bread with butter, a beautiful salad, and an incredible selection of wines that only elevated the experience. To top it all off, we ended with a strawberry crème brûlée, which was rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet finale to an unforgettable evening. I left feeling completely blessed—not just by the food, but by the atmosphere, the company, and the heart and soul that Tommaso puts into his restaurant. Tuscany il Ristorante isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience, a family, a tradition. I absolutely cannot wait to go back.
Angie N — Google review
I've been craving Italian food ever since I moved from NYC, and this place absolutely hit the spot. It had been way too long! The food was authentic and delicious, and the wine paired perfectly with the meal. I’ll definitely be coming back—this restaurant brought back the flavors I’ve been missing!
Jung S — Google review
The service of the waitstaff was impeccable! Anything we needed was taken care of and they were so friendly and attentive the entire night. The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. The highlight at the end of the night were the cannolis. Divine! Thank you for a wonderful night! We will be back when we come back to town!

Had dinner with a group of six. We all enjoyed the patio and the food. I had a special, which was Oregon Coast Sole- it was excellent and the portion was so big I took half home.

I feel like family at Tuscany il Restorante! The food is outstanding! The staff and the owner Tommaso know their customers by name and what they like to drink! It is the neighborhood gathering place where you always feel welcome. One of my personal favorites is the charbroiled chicken with arugula! DELICIOUS!
Tina L — Google review
Probably our favorite restaurant. Have been going here for over 15 years and never had a bad experience. The food is great, always something different. They will also make something for you on request if it is not on the menu. Service is 5 star. I have had private parties here as well as just family night out and it never disappoints.

I gave it 5 across the board which never happens. Our 20 year Anniversary. Found this place on a whim (wife & I both love Italian food). Decided, why not? New experience. Coin & Candor is a sophisticated dining spot located in the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. The restaurant offers a menu that highlights California's local ingredients, with a focus on wood-fired dishes and seasonal produce. It provides an elegant ambiance and impeccable service, making it an ideal choice for special occasions or leisurely brunches. The eatery also features a cocktail bar and spacious outdoor seating, with an upscale vibe reflected in both the interiors and the menu offerings.
Wonderful, new chef, Hugo, at Coin and Candor -- and his new menu is fantastic!! I'm in love with the Shigoku oysters and the sauces, especially with the ginger and shallots. I didn't even like raw oysters but these are magical! Thanks, Nancy(server) for enticing me to try them--can't wait to go back for more!🦪😋

The service was not great, and unfortunately, the salad was wilted and had dark spots, not even cut into bite-size so I had to cut all the pieces before I ate my salad. Luckily, the main course and dessert was good. I had to ask for bread, glad I did because it tasted good. In general, we were pleased but not amazed by both the food and the service.

The food, the cocktails, the view, and the staff were absolute perfection. I had such a lovely dinner. Thank you to everyone who made a weeknight outing feel extraordinary!
Rachael W — Google review
Let’s just cut to the chase: Coin & Candor is the best restaurant in Westlake Village, bar none. Chef Hugo and his team have done an exceptional job in creating a seasonal, upscale, yet approachable (and very California) menu that deserves to be revisited again and again. The service is attentive, the cocktail program shows playfulness, and the food shows a team that knows how to execute at the highest level. C&C is truly a gem in Westlake Village, and is on par with the best that LA has to offer; 5 stars well deserved.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant with my family. From the warm welcome to the delightful farewell, my recent dinner was absolutely amazing. Our server, Amanda, was very attentive and expertly guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations. The talent of Chef Christian was undeniable. Every dish was a work of art, not just in presentation, but in the explosion of flavors on the palate. Chef Christian personally served every dish and explained further the preparation and the variety of ingredients, which was incredible. A special shout-out to Manager Betty, who ensured our entire experience ran smoothly. Betty stopped by our table to ensure our satisfaction and even took time to chat with us. The staff's genuine warmth and attentiveness to detail solidified this place as a top-tier dining destination. Highly recommended!

We had such a fantastic experience at Coin & Candor! From the moment we arrived, Mario and Christopher made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. We didn’t have to wait for anything—drinks were refilled promptly, service was seamless, and the entire evening flowed effortlessly. Christopher went above and beyond explaining the menu and answering our questions with care and enthusiasm. His attention to detail made the meal even more enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely outstanding. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, but the real standout? The sourdough bread. It’s on a whole new level—crusty, warm, and bursting with fresh, tangy flavor. Easily some of the best we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for top-notch food paired with impeccable service, Coin & Candor is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Dessert was off the hook ! Macaroni with jalapeño was off the hook. my steak was very bland , it had no flavor nothing . I ordered medium rare .. I don't think I'll order steak here anymore . place is usually super loud you cannot hear your self talk .. tables are so close together ! I really like this spot but it's just always so crowded !!! Went on my birthday and the menu was printed just for my birthday greetings, which I forgot to take. I go especially to have the Lobster Bisque, it’s so…. Good! The drawback is after the bisque and the bread, a top shelf margarita and a glass of wine I couldn’t even think about eating my entree! Then they served the delicious cake with a huge bowl of whipped cream. These people know how to run a restaurant!

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. I made reservations and arrived early. We used the valet parking here. Our server was Raymond and he was amazing with the recommendations along with the customer service. I got the bone in filet, my wife and mom got the Chilean Sea Bass and my mother in law got the salmon. For our sides we got the French fries, mushrooms, asparagus and Mac and cheese. All of our dish were delicious and made to perfection. They got me a chocolate cake slice which was also amazing.

Brittney was our Host’s name and first and foremost provided the best service I have ever received in my life. Everything was catered to from the openings between the curtains and glass pane for noise reduction for our party to bottled/distilled/sparkly water selection and so much more. Truly 6 out of 5 star service. I have never been to such an amazing establishment. If I am being perfectly honest, I felt a bit out of place and was a bit nervous. But once Brittney arrived she was able to out my heart at ease and made all of our selections such a journey. She was knowledgeable and well versed in all things included on the menu and even offered insight into the behind the sevens for the restaurant and the live music. All in all I put my faith and trust in her steak(medium well Porter House PERFECTION with decadent marbling) and side suggestions and my family was better off for it. There were 11 of us and even though we were at a 5 star restaurant to say the least, it felt more like a down to earth intimate event and everything from the ambience to the drink suggestion pairings truly made it a night to remember. I have never truly enjoyed myself at a restaurant as much as I did on 3/30/2024 at 6pm-9pm. From the bottom Thank the restaurant and the staff(ESPECIALLY BRITTNEY!) for the unforgettable and intimate evening out with my family. Can’t wait to come back again for our semi-annual family dinner in October!

Incredible experience at Mastros! We attended a comedy show across the street at the Civic Arts Plaza and had reservations before-hand for dinner at Mastros. Atmosphere is amazing - very modern, high-end vibe, dark moody lighting, elevated finishes. Service was impeccable; even though they were quite busy, we felt super special as if we were the only ones dining that night. The food was amazing, super tasty and great presentation; especially the shrimp cocktail! Divine. Cocktails were equally tasty and top shelf. We can't wait to come back!! Update 08/15/25 - brought our oldest son and his wife for their first anniversary and Mastro's did it again! From a special menu that was printed out and given to them as a gift to a beautiful dessert at the end - and everything in between... Service was amazing, everything tasted wonderful. Thank you!

We love coming here! The entire staff is attentive and informative. Debbie was our server, and she surpassed all of our expectations. We ate the A5 Waygu steak, the 16 oz steaks, lobster Mac and cheese, and the garlic mashed potatoes. The lemon drop martinis are delicious also. Cheers!

Italian restaurant
Marcello Ristorante is a charming Italian eatery located in a strip mall, offering a casual setting and delightful Italian cuisine crafted by executive chef Tino Di Marcello. The lunch menu presents an assortment of salads and specialty entrees, while the dinner menu boasts appetizers, pizza, pasta dishes, and various meat or fish entrees.
This place is an absolute hidden gem! If you are craving seriously authentic, fresh Italian food- you really need to dine here. I had the wild caught blue crab cake, linguine with bolognese sauce and the nuova capri salad which was similar to caprese but elevated to a whole new level. Everything is delicious- but you’ll know that when you walk in and are instantly surrounded by heavenly aromas. The staff is absolutely incredible, so kind courteous and attentive. Paulo is so cheerful and knowledgeable, if he recommends anything- it’s worth trying! The owners are so sweet and taking painstaking care to ensure a wonderful experience. I have been a life long loyal customer to another Italian Restaurant in town, and I am happy to say Marcello’s Ristorante is officially my new favorite go to for an excellent meal!

5 stars! Marcello Ristorante in Thousand Oaks exceeded our expectations! We started with the Strozzapreti al parmigiano e gorgonzola (potato gnocchi, parmigano & gorgonzola) and Suppli (rice balls with peas & mozzarella) - both were delicious! For our mains, the chicken Marsala was cooked to perfection with a rich Marsala wine mushroom sauce, and the Salmone con tapenade e spinaci was flavorful and fresh. Great service and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend! 🍝

Excellent food. Very high quality and balanced flavors. The sea bass was amazing. Calamari was very tender, it wasn’t overcooked and rubbery like most places around here.

Starting with the service, and hospitality… like I walked into a restaurante in Italia! Warm, friendly, fun. I had the steak, perfectly cooked how I asked…. Oh but I forgot about the pizza, the margarita pizza is top… a legit 9.5 because nothings a ten…What a delightful warm spot. Looking forward to bringing my family back

Hidden gem, hole in the wall Italian food. Best creme brulee for dessert. I am a sucker for their egg noodle pasta. We have tried so many different appetizers and main dishes and everything is always good. The seafood salad special is great.

Best Italian restaurant in town. The food is authentic and very well cooked. The calamari looks like other typical Italian restaurants but don't let it fool you. The taste is exceptional. And it pairs well with the sauce too. My wife got a tagliata di manzo. The truffle oil on thinly sliced pieces of steak is a genius creation. I got a ossobuco which came with well flavored risotto and tendered veal. Overall, highly recommended place. The service can be a little slow but relax, take a sip of wine and dine like You're in Italy. Food will come out eventually.

It is very good authentic Italian food. I’ve had a couple of meals here and they both tasted great. However, they don’t have a very large menu and there were only a few things on the menu that sounded good. It’s also one of the few places I go where none of the appetizers sound too appetizing. It’s not that I think the food will taste bad, it just doesn’t excite me and make me interested in ordering it. The staff is very attentive and helpful. It’s a great restaurant, I just wish they had more things in line with my tastes.

We enjoyed our chicken lemon dish and the lemon dessert. The restaurant is under new ownership from approximately 37 years ago. The new owner is very friendly, accommodating, and really wants to make sure you are satisfied with the whole experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great wholesome Italian fare.

Nestled on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Mouthful Eatery is a vibrant bistro that brings a delightful twist to the culinary scene with its Peruvian-inspired sandwiches and inventive salads. This charming spot embraces fresh, seasonal ingredients from around the world, crafting dishes that are both flavorful and visually appealing.
Conejo Valley's Hidden Gem!! This Handcrafted Peruvian Eatery is located near the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Theatre!! Great for lunch, dinner, catering and special events! The inviting and cozy ambiance with the friendly staff makes this a definite go-to spot!! We tried their Aji de galling, which is a creamy, spicy chicken stew. Definitely worth trying!! I can see why it’s a customer favorite!! The ultimate comfort food!! The slow roasted and succulent Pork Belly was topped with a sunny side egg. The freshness of the edamame and sambal sweet chili sauce helps to cut through the richness of pork belly. The Yucca Frita was crispy on the outside and soft inside. So addictive! The crisp green beans were perfectly cooked! Don’t miss out on the scrumptious Alfajores! They are melt-in-your-mouth, buttery and sweet! Wonderful customer service from Javier and Maurino!!

The overall experience is pretty good. At first, i couldn't figure out how to order from, but i soon realized I just followed from left to the right menu list to order. I ordered the Crip Artichokes as the side order. They were pretty, but i like the cheeze sticks slightly better than the artichokes. We were party of 5 and we all ordered differently. My friends gave a piece of steak and belly pork, and i ordered the fish bowl. Both pork and steak were tasted better than fish. How come other people's dish are always taste then mine?

Good food good mood Stopped here for a lunch with friend. I ordered a bowl with quinoa and Peruvian Steak. It was delicious, mouthwatering, and kicking all my tastebuds. My friend ordered a sandwich with crispy pork (it is a must have according to the restaurant). My friend enjoyed it Service was quick and attentive. Music was blasting so I doubt if there's ever someone who wouldn't enjoy it here. Highly recommend

Totally blown away by this restaurant. Everything we got was out of this world. Seriously. I feel like I could eat here everyday and have something new and delicious! The Peruvian steak I think was my absolute favorite. I have no idea what they did to their onions and tomatoes, but I’m still dreaming about them, they were so good. And also, the people that work there were beyond friendly. They made us feel like we were family! I love everything about this place!!!

Lomo Saltado was good but not great. As someone who has never tried Peruvian cuisine, it was a nice experience but not something that blew me away.

My family orders dinner from here once a week. It's such a great little place! We love the fish quinoa bowl, pork sandwich and pan seared salmon. And the cookies!!! And during Covid, they helped keep us and the rest of the community fed. They had boxes of supplies that you couldn't get anywhere else. I'm so happy that they are in our neighborhood. Keep up the great work!

Not a typical place I would try but I am so happy that I did! We went as a group and everyone loved their food. We planned our next lunch here as we were eating- that is how amazing it was. I love the art from the children and the community promoting atmosphere. There is love in the food and service!

This place is simply the best. Such amazing food and attention to detail. They put cucumber in the water dispenser and jalapeño/cilantro in the ranch, such a nice touch. I generally get a sandwhich and the bread alone is worth it. You can’t beat the price for that kind of quality!

We used to live in Westlake Village and regularly dined at Sadaf Restaurant. Even after moving to Oxnard, we still drive back to Westlake just to enjoy Persian food at Sadaf. The ambiance is lovely and very peaceful, and the food is always wonderful. My son absolutely loves it here, and so do I. The meats are tender, perfectly marinated, and full of flavor. The servers are very polite and professional, especially a young, beautiful lady named Moha. She usually serves our table, and she is always kind and attentive, she even knows our usual order. My son always gets the chicken or beef kabob, and I like to try different dishes each time. Honestly, every plate I’ve ever ordered has been excellent; I’ve never had anything that wasn’t delicious or high quality. Ms. Moha takes such great care of us, most of the time, anything we need is already on the table before we even ask. Whenever my son and I come here, we leave happy and fully satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Phil's is an intimate and upscale bistro in Thousand Oaks, CA that prides itself on offering an approachable yet sophisticated dining experience. The restaurant is known for its personalized service and passion for food and wine. Their menu features a seasonally driven selection of dishes made with the freshest ingredients available. Phil's also offers a diverse beer and wine list, featuring local, regional, and international options to complement the dining experience.
My Dad and I finally tried Phil’s for the first time tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat in the bar/lounge in the back of the restaurant which was extremely cozy and had many TV’s with multiple games on. I ordered their manhattan cocktail and it was exquisite. The portion sizes are gigantic so we split the wedge salad and it was fantastic. I ordered the prime rib dip and it was delicious. The combo of the au jus and horseradish was delicious and the beef was thinly sliced and perfectly cooked. My Dad enjoyed the stroganoff, but thought it could have used egg noodles and the sauce perhaps a bit thicker. It was still very tasty and I highly recommend Phil’s overall. My only complaint is there are very few vegetarian or seafood dishes, since I have pescatarian family members.

My husband and I went to Phil's for the first time last weekend, and I can’t say enough about how much I love this place. The food and signature cocktails are amazing! They have a great happy hour, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere truly takes you back to the “good ol’ days!” Phil himself even delivered our food to us, he’s such a great owner. He made us feel like close family friends and even gave us a tour of the place after our meal. We’ll definitely be back and are excited to become their new “regulars.” :)

The food was absolutely superb, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Overall, we truly enjoyed every moment of our visit and will definitely be returning soon!

Found Phil’s online and thought we’d check it out after a show at the Canejo Players Theatre. Great place. Phil was a fun and gracious host. The food was terrific and although not inexpensive was a great value. Fresh, hot and with generous portions. Mark waited on us and he was terrific. Lot’s of fun, laughs and full bellies. Be sure to check out the back room and bar. We spent a lot of time just reading all the signs. We don’t live in the area but the next time we’re here, we’ll be sure to come back.

My husband and I were traveling from our home in the south bay to a dance recital for our youngest grandchild and we wanted to eat a meal up there once we completed the two-hour journey on a Friday afternoon. My husband looked up restaurants near the dance recital, and Phil's came up as a good choice. We arrived and were seated and told Phil (yes, the owner is there) that we sort of needed a speed meal. They were on it. I had the best tuna tartare I have ever had and a flatbread pizza and my husband had the stroganoff. It was an incredible meal. The service was wonderful and it has the neighborhood vibe atmosphere. We both highly recommend Phil's. Make a reservation because this place is jumping.
Robin V — Google review
Wow what a fantastic restaurant and bar. I cannot overstate what a great time we had here. First off the service was amazing. The staff was top notch and really made the evening enjoyable. We started the evening with the bacon wrapped shrimp which was fantastic. Then the spicy tater tots... a lot of restaurants just over cover the tots so there is no crunch...not at Phil's they came out perfect. Just the right amount of crunch while still getting just enough of the spicy sauce to taste it but not over power the tater tot. Finally as the last appetizer the Mac and Cheese.....now I have had Mac and cheese before and I like to think I make a pretty good Mac and Cheese....Phil's place has made me question my ability, and made my Mac and Cheese feel like it may as well have come from a box....it was hands down one of the best cheese sauces I have tried...not sure what the secret is but I would come back just for that.....the Entrees were just as good. We all shared a steak, the roasted chicken and the schnitzel. Each and every dish was spectacular. One of our group makes a darn good schnitzel and she is now crying that she can no longer make schnitzel after tasting the schnitzel at Phil's. I was thoroughly impressed and if you are in the area this new restaurant is a definite must try. Thanks Phil's you have really made a great first impression can't wait to try more of your menu!

Phil’s is a great place to meet a friend for lunch or a business meeting. Great wine and food selection. They’ve only been open for 3 months. I ordered the crispy Brussels- because if they’re on a menu, I’m ordering them! These were good but not great. A little too tangy and needed salt or another savory addition. My husband ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and loved it. Went down easy and had great flavor. The ambiance is calm and relaxing. Across the street there’s a car wash, you can always drop your car to get washed and have a quick bite at Phils. Phil’s is also next door to Starbucks. Great little corner to stop at if you work in the area and need to eat.

Nonna is a chic Italian restaurant located in Westlake Village, offering a sophisticated menu that includes delectable dishes like tuna tartar and grilled calamari. The restaurant also hosts special events during the day and features live music at night. Guests can enjoy small discounts on wines and cocktails during happy hour. The ambiance is already beautiful, with a great bar area and a variety of drinks available.
OMG! The food here was amazing and this was the best meal we have had in a long time. We are from Texas and self proclaimed foodies and this is definitely in our top 5 favorite restaurants. The bread and sun dried tomatoes/olive oil tapenade or whatever it is called is heavenly. I had the four cheese ravioli with truffles and it was out of this world. My husband had the linguine with clams and it was also amazing. Do not skip this place. Live music and a great vibe- will absolutely come back again.
Audrey K — Google review
Overhyped, yet underdelivered. Huge disappointment. I do NOT recommend this place. And yes, it is $100 per person, IF you want to have a nice dinner. Do the math yourself to include an appetizer, a main dish and a side dish. Here's why: Nonna's though, is NOT worth the $100/person price. The Service is a solid 5 stars though. They were all very well dressed, very courteous, very much on top of things, and they do check in on you quite regularly. What I didn't like though, the number one determining factor for why I gave this place 1 star was that I really don't feel like the money you're spending here is justified. $53 for risotto with mushrooms: 1 solid cup of rice in a bowl... aka small, tiny portion. Flavor?... nope, not enough salt. I tasted the mushroom, but I think just a touch more salt during the cooking process would have made this flavor stand out. It's too passive. Truffles? Where? I think maybe there was one little sliver of truffle that I noticed or saw. This dish should be $30, and twice the portion size. $22 ricotta stuffed zucchini Blossom: ...for 3 of them. Seriously?! At least give me 6 of them for that price. Again, they don't salt it when it comes out of the fryer, and there was no flavor in the ricotta. Plain, bland. The marinara sauce that was served on the side was straight out of a jar...Ragu, Progresso, Hunts Tomato Sauce in a can? I'm sorry, too cookie cutter for a place like this. $23 for the 12" pizza Diavola: considering the limited menu selections of this place, I guess the price was right. Only problem is that it's drowned in a sugary slurry of near raw onion. Way too much sugary syrup. I was thinking this was going to be nice pizza dough topped with Salami. The crust was good, but I couldn't get beyond the sugary syrup of the onion to taste anything else. And again, not enough salt. $14 balsamic syrawberry cocktail: the only thing on the menu that was priced correctly, and actually was worth it, sorta. Bread & sundried tomato: terrible. The crust of the bread is nice, I do like the airiness. But no flavor. There's not enough salt in the dough to be able to taste the bread. The sun-dried tomato was horrible. It's not "earthy," it flat-out tastes like dirt. There's no flavor, no depth, nothing. It needs some garlic, some salt, some flavoring, something to bring out the sun-dried tomato. These are probably the kind of sun-dried tomato you get from a restaurant depot type place. The menu here is too limited, with very few choices. I feel like everything on this menu is an appetizer. You need to order at least four or five things to feel satisfied, and get the feeling that you had dinner.. so, you'll spend $100/per person. Ridiculous! Ambiance inside? Horrendous. The ceiling is too low, the noise level is way too loud, and there's nothing to dampen the sound level from one corner of the room to the other. You can literally hear in detail what's going on 50 feet away at the table on the other side of the room. The lighting in here is another atrocity. We walked in the door 2 hours before sunset., and I couldn't even see the menu. I had to turn my flashlight on my cell phone. Farmhouse white walls? I feel like I'm going to a country bed and breakfast, get getting charged Four Seasons Hotel prices. The owner was another joke. I saw him walking around, and flirting with a couple of the younger ladies close to the bar area. But he never bothered to go around to the tables to check in on what people thought of his food in the first couple hours of opening. You probably couldn't get him to hear you anyways with the volume of the room being so loud. I'm sorry, but for the high prices, the flavorless food, the small portions, the LOUD noise level, the dark room, and the pain in the a$$ long wait, I will probably never come back to this place. There are other Italian restaurants in the area in a similar price range that have better food, better atmosphere, better menu choices, and certainly better overall experience for the price you're paying compared to what you're receiving in return.

This is a classic Italian restaurant that’s usually always busy. Their food is fresh and the service is very good. We went here for my husbands birthday and got a few different things and shared. They give you bread with a delicious tomato spread to start. My husband got a fillet and I got the scallops with gnocchi. We also shared the carbonara which is very light and flavorful. We also got the risotto balls (if I remember correctly). We had leftovers as it was a lot of food for two. We got a free dessert for my husbands birthday which was Panna cotta and it was very light and delicious! We go here for special occasions as it is pricey but definitely worth it.

Professional food quality, could be a lot more popular if opened in a metropolitan area. The "tuna tar-tare" is an example. It tastes like Sushi but with crispy wrap. Totally follows Western food's logic, but adds fun. Note on service: please sit me no later than groups after me.

Had just a wonderful time at this restaurant. We were greeted the moment we walked in they set us a short time after and on the patio. Beautiful early evening to be sitting on the patio. The service was wonderful from both at the bar while we were waiting and at our table. The special was a pasta in the shape I had never seen before tossed with a spicy Italian sausage and gorgonzola. It was delicious. And absolutely wonderful place that next time I'm in that area I'll be going back there again.

We visited Nonna’s this week for live music, dinner, and drinks, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. As far as Italian restaurants go, Nona’s is easily one of the absolute best. The bar area is stunning—beautifully designed, lively, and a total vibe. Pair that with live music, and the atmosphere is unmatched. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer, enjoying great company with amazing food and drinks. The menu and cocktails are excellent, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff was attentive and professional, which only added to the overall enjoyment of the night. Whether you’re planning a fun night out with friends or family, a business meeting in an upscale yet relaxed setting, or a special date night, Nona’s is the place to be. You will not regret it. My niece was in town so I suggested we go out to dinner to be able to catch up on each other’s lives. The parking lot was full my usual haunt in Westlake so I thought I would try Nonna’s for the first time last night. All of the rave reviews and recommendations were true. We did not have a reservation, so we sat in the bar area and were treated wonderfully by Michael our server. He was extremely attentive and yet gave us our space so that we could talk. Michael was very professional and efficient!! The food at Nonna’s is wonderful as well! I will definitely be going back soon!

We made a reservation to sit outside in patio a month ago. After we got there and gave our name to the hostesses. She was asking where do we like to sit ??? Inside or outside???!!!! Reservation did not mean anything !!! As far as the food; portions are so small for the price they charge . I ordered a Beet salad for my entree … when they brought my salad … I was puzzled.. they put a few pieces of beets on the plate and a little bit of green on top … I was shocked… the menu said the salad has pears too… I should have microscope to see the pears. No pear on the salad … it was disappointing to see how they shrink everything Even my kids pasta ; you could count how many pieces of pasta is in there … ordered a basket of bread with butter .. for 12 dollar they give you a few pieces of bread and the tiniest scoop of butter It’s a rip off… They just have the advantage of location Some greenery and a small pond …. But overcharged for the small portion that they serve.. It’s so unfortunate to see how people take advantage… not going back here.

Terrible service and terrible food. We ordered the roasted chicken for our toddlers to share. The roasted chicken came with 2 pieces a separate breast and thigh. The thigh was rubbery and undercooked. We served our kids the breast only with the mashed potatoes. When the waitress came by to ask how it was, I told her the thigh seems undercooked and rubbery. She took the plate away. She had the audacity to come back with the plate and said “she examined the chicken and it is cooked all the way through”. She asked if we want it back or if she should toss it. I told her put the plate on the table and call your manager. I was so appalled by this. I explained to her manager what type of restaurant takes my plate, “examines” the food, and brings it back for me to eat?! How am I supposed to know if she stuck her fingers in my chicken to examine it? I complained it is rubbery! At the very least replace that piece of chicken…. I’ve never seen such irresponsible handling of food. And to think this is a high end restaurant with high end pricing. The roasted chicken was disgusting. The creamy salmon over crispy rice was fishy The beef carpaccio was bland The NY bone in steaks were both overcooked and so tough We usually go to Mastro’s nearby and decided to give this place a chance. Huge mistake. The manager invited us back for a free meal. No thank you. Never coming back here. There are many other places in this area with good service and good food.

A lovely neighborhood Italian place, secluded in an area with a hotel parking and other establishments. Can get VERY busy on Friday and Saturday nights, with long lines waiting for the valet parking. Atmosphere is great, seating inside or outside, and perfect for a warm summer evening. Service was very pleasant and appropriately attentive. The menu is simple but inclusive - I had a perfectly delicious grilled salmon, my partner had roast chicken and we shared sides of grilled mushrooms and succotash... The food is simply delicious. We went a second time a few days later with another couple, and again we had delicious meals. Get the bread serving! Warm, delicious freshly baked bread to start! Bill for two of us, including cocktails, dessert, tax and tip came to $150 - well worth it and we'll go back! Valet parking was $7 and worth it, because it gets crowded!!

Went here for our 2 year anniversary and i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The waiter was courtesy, kind and professional. The food came out very quick and tasted amazing (I don’t think I’ve a better salmon in my life). And finally, they did add a little nice touch at the end of the night for our anniversary. Overall, the experience was exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone else celebrating their anniversary.

This place was recommended by my parents. We can see why they enjoy it. We had the House Focaccia Bread & Salsiccia E Funghi pizza. Everything tasted fresh. The pizza was big enough to split. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Perfectly made napoletano pizza! Their best feature is the pizza crust. Even the menu items are exactly how it would be in Italy! I overheard them singing happy birthday to guests in Italian too! Would definitely come back if I lived here.

Delicious food, excellent service, food freshness, and great quality. I definitely recommend this Italian restaurant for pasta lovers. We tried the pesto pasta, grilled fish, the chef special shrimp pasta, and all were delicious.

This was a really really good pizza. I’m Italian and I really miss to have a good pizza from a pizzeria sometime. The dough was very good and I really appreciate that combination offered in the menu were not exotic but were reflecting the italian tradition. We got a prosciutto and rucola and a calabrese pizza. The spicy salami was good as it should be and the burrata and the prosciutto were of very good quality. Maybe the two pizzas did bij have the same level of cooking and I prefer them to be a bit more cooked but overall was very good and this could not change the opinion I have on what we had. Probably in few moments there were a little too noise, but I loved the familiar atmosphere that was possible to appreciate. The staff were extremely nice as a good cherry on cake.

INSANELY delicious. I came here on Saturday night, and the atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming. The staff were amazing as well, they were attentive and kind. I dont think I've went to a better Italian place than this, I would absolutely recommend going here.

Made in Italy is truly one of the best Italian restaurants you will ever experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and comforting—almost like stepping into my grandmother’s home and backyard. That “at-home” feeling is something you can’t fake, and it’s what keeps people coming back. Every time I visit, I notice so many regulars, which tells you just how special this place is. The service, food, and drinks are consistently top-notch. The staff here go out of their way to make you feel like family, and you can tell they genuinely honor and appreciate their clients. Every dish feels like it’s been prepared with love and care, from the fresh pastas to the perfectly cooked entrées and desserts. The drinks menu is also impressive, and whether you’re ordering wine, cocktails, or espresso, everything is thoughtfully prepared and well-presented. What really sets Made in Italy apart is that the entire dining experience feels authentic and heartfelt. It’s not just about eating great food—it’s about enjoying a meal the way Italians intend it: with community, laughter, and connection. Made in Italy has quickly become my go-to spot for an amazing meal with friends and family. Whether it’s a casual night out, a family dinner, or a special occasion, this restaurant delivers every single time. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and give them a try. You will not regret it.

Unfortunately I have to write a review. My previous one I wrote a year ago, I had given this restaurant 5 stars. We went back there with my in laws for my husband’s birthday and the service was terrible. The waitress was very sarcastic, nonchalant and rude. We found out later that it was her last day so maybe that explained the attitude, but what a 180 compared to our previous experience. Additionally we found a hair in 1 of our salads and what appeared to be some plastic orange net in our other salad. They comped us for the salads but quite frankly my appetite was gone after that hair and the bad service. This coupled with the rude server, put us over the edge. While some dishes were good, the quality overall has noticeably declined. Going to a restaurant is all about the service and how the staff makes you feel. This is sad since we were all looking forward to a nice lunch celebrating my husband. Not going back there any time soon.

Moody Rooster is a laid-back and charming restaurant that serves a variety of locally sourced ingredients and globally inspired dishes in a relaxed, countryside atmosphere. The menu features an array of seafood and New American cuisine, all made with sustainably sourced ingredients. In addition to the delectable food options, guests can also enjoy an extensive selection of beer, wine, sparkling wines, spritzers, and other beverages during their visit.
The Gnocchi was delicious, but the portion was small. The fennel sausage was delicious and more hearty than some other dishes. The drink selection is terrific, the atmosphere was delightful, and our server Blanca was smart, professional and personable.

Moody Rooster has been on my radar for a while and I took advantage of no traffic on Memorial Day weekend to venture out for lunch. After my visit I’m wishing I was a local! What a gem! I ordered the mushroom salad, albacore salad, octopus and the crispy gnocchi. Highly recommend a visit and can’t wait to return for more and dessert. Patio seating was perfect for a warm, sunny day. Carrie was phenomenal and the service is top notch.

Really lived us to the hype. The service was exceptional. The crispy gnocchi is one of my favorite gnocchis I’ve ever had especially with the Parmesan fondue sauce. The roasted cauliflower was pretty good too!

That’s the kind of place I love. The food is rich, well-prepared, perfectly portioned, and has just the right touch of creativity and personality. Prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. We had the crispy gnocchi — absolutely delicious — and the veal sweetbreads, which are rare to find (very : crispy on the outside and tender inside) The ambiance was warm and lively — maybe a bit noisy, but in a way that makes you feel relaxed A great spot for a casual dinner with friends or family. Highly recommended!

My friend and I were coming back from a golf mixer, and we were fortunate to get seated by the kind hostess after neve having the opportunity to experience this long awaited bookmark. Our waitress was also very kind and guided us to the best selections and we left very happy. The chicken was crispy and succulent and the lamb came right off the bone fresh and tasty. Can't wait to return!

My first time coming to this place. I really liked the ambiance. The food was really good. We ordered the half chicken and the boar tagliatelle pasta and they were both delicious. The bread pudding was also very good. My favorite was the homemade cherry cola. It was delicious. Service was great. Friendly staff. I hope to return soon.

Wow this place is phenomenal! Our family of 6 was visiting from Florida and a local recommended the Moody Rooster. It blew us away! We ordered several plates to share family-style and every bite was absolutely delicious! I wish we got our waitress’ name because she was so kind, attentive & patient with our kids. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Thousand Oaks offers a relaxed and trendy dining experience with a menu featuring global comfort fare such as stir-fries, pot roast, pastas, tacos, salads, and sandwiches. The restaurant is known for its unique flavor profiles and high-quality ingredients. While the service may be a bit slow due to busyness, the attention to detail and flavor in each dish justifies the price range of $15 - $25 per entree.
Love lazy dog. Always a go to for me as they have a wide variety of food on the menu. I have gotten so many things before and they are all delicious. I highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower and the deviled eggs. Not pictured but super delicious! The chicken pot pie, pot roast plate and sandwich, the burgers are also fantastic, again not pictured. What is pictured is the Thai chicken noodles. They have a zesty sauce and come with tofu and shrimp. Also pictured is the Mediterranean chicken bowl and it was very yummy and fresh!

This was my first time at this establishment, and it will definitely not be my last! As a Canadian, I recognize friendly service, and this establishment absolutely had some of the best friendly service I was able to experience while in the Los Angeles area! On top of that, the food was really tasty, and the atmosphere feels really comfortable! I would highly recommend anyone thinking about coming here especially for supper to certainly consider it!

This is by far the best family dining experience I have had in years! Amazing customer service with Emily and Alex and super affordable prices for the portions. We came with all five of our children, and they had hand breaded chicken nuggets, and amazing fish and chips. My husband had the New York steak and it was as good as any high-end Steakhouse, and I had the homemade chicken pot pie, and I’ve never had anything like it! Definitely will be returning.

We enjoyed a great dinner at the restaurant. Our experience was pristine the entire time, with a unique vibe that always impresses us. For the appetizer, we had loaded potato hush puppies with a Tapatio crema. She paired these with a white peach sangria. I chose the Chicken Teriyaki bowl with vegetables and rice, while she ordered the Mediterranean chicken bowl from the new $15 Fireside favorites menu, featuring grilled lemon chicken, yellow rice, and Mediterranean sides. Her meal included a s’more brownie sundae. Our waiter, Daniel, was informative and friendly, always checking on our experience. Lazy Dog offers TV dinners with standout options: BBQ meatloaf with sides, four-cheese baked pasta, roasted turkey breast with gravy and stuffing, cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, fried chicken with gravy and spinach, lemon chicken with yellow rice, and chicken pot pie. Each meal comes with a unique dessert. We have been here many times and will keep returning.

I always love stopping by Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar here in Thousand Oaks when I’m in the area. We had a Trunk or Treat event for the kids nearby, so we figured why not stop in? I ordered from the Build Your Own Lunch menu, which offers smaller, discounted portions of some of their regular items. With this special, you get to pick one entrée, one side, and either a salad or soup. The list of options is fairly short, but I ended up ordering the Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich with no tomato. It was decent not the best chicken salad I’ve ever had, but it was okay. For my side, I chose the apple cider vinegar coleslaw. I had a bit of an issue with that it was very bland and lacked flavor. The Build Your Own Lunch also includes a soup or salad, so I went with the Caesar salad since I love Caesar salad. The servers here are pretty attentive and check in often to see if you need anything, which I really appreciate. I don’t like having to sit and hope a server comes by again, like at some other places. The ambiance of the restaurant feels like a cozy cabin meets sports bar. The menu has a wide variety of options, so I have no doubt that anyone who visits will find something they like. I’d definitely recommend Lazy Dog to anyone looking for good American comfort food served in a warm, rustic setting. And just like the name suggests, Lazy Dog welcomes dogs, but only on the outdoor patio. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to return. I love this place.

I had the fettuccine Alfredo with braised beef, and wow—absolutely incredible! This dish is actually a secret off-menu item, and I can confidently say it’s a 9.7/10. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the creamy sauce was rich and flavorful, and the braised beef just melted in my mouth. The portion was generous, the flavors were balanced, and it felt like a true chef’s special. If you want something beyond the regular menu, I highly recommend asking for this dish—you won’t be disappointed! Hands down one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back for this again.

First time trying out the place, it did not disappoint. Food was delicious, service was good, ambiance was friendly and relaxing. Western style setting that took us back to cowboy days. They also have a bar if you're not looking to eat a meal there. Plenty of finger foods to choose from. I recommend Lazy Dog if you want to try a new place.

What a nice spacious place. Got the Cheese curds, Fried Deviled eggs, Cuban sandwich, Pineapple mojito, Smores brownie sundae & Apple huckleberry open face pie. Everything was delicious, especially the sauces & flavors in the deviled eggs & Cuban sandwich. The desserts were big enough to share and tasted great. It's a huge place write dozens of tables inside, and some outside. With wooden structures & a warm energy. It's located in a huge plaza with lots of parking. Staff was nice & prices are fair.

Bazille is a full-service restaurant located on the second floor of Nordstrom, offering a casually elegant setting and a full bar serving bistro food. The restaurant has gained popularity for its happy hour specials, including $4 cilantro lime chicken tacos and $8 patty melt with fries. Customers have praised the fantastic atmosphere and delicious food, with some making it a regular after-work spot.
The cilantro lime salad with chicken was really good and the ingredients were very fresh. I tried one of the drink specials, it had lavender, lemon, Prosecco and gin. I believe it was called Queen Bee. The flavors were okay, a little sweet for me but it was definitely strong. The service was outstanding! I would absolutely return.

We ordered a lot of different food to try the place out and I have to so say it was... ok. The only thing that stuck in a good way were the lime tacos and Riesling wine. My chicken sausage pasta was nearly tasteless, then the warm Asian salad was hardly Asian and hardly good, sauce overwhelmed the entire plate. Customer service was good, they waitress was helpful and informative. This is a place you can definitely skip.

Located inside of Nordstrom at The Oaks Mall (on the 2nd floor), this restaurant is a nice little hideaway from all typical dining choices available when I work in TO. It's familar, and also nice, but not pretentious. The food and drinks are consistently good and on par with the other locations, and the service is great ( service may be even better than some other locations). Thank you for the pleasant service, wonderful food, and hideaway vibes in TO

Favorite HH in town!!! 330-6pm. $4 cilantro lime chicken tacos! $8 patty melt with fries! $5 prosecco and $4 beer. I can't begin to express my delight upon discovering this hidden gem! The people, food and atmosphere are fantastic! I think I'm up to twice a week after work here. My coworkers have even begun joining and raving about these tacos!!! Brisk walk around the mall after - to work off the ranch dressing I practically drink with my fries! (they top them with rosemary and it's absolute bliss!) 😍😍😍 Thank you Bazille for my happy place!!! ❤️💕

Small, but nice restaurant inside the Oak's. They have an amazing happy hour for the area including $5 wines, $5 tapas, etc and it goes until 6:30pm. We started out with the bruschetta, and chicken satay. Our entrees were the Cod that was on special, it came with butternut squash mash and asparagus. It was amazing and I practically ate it in 5 minutes. Some other dishes we got were the patty melt and the meatballs on special. I want to come back to try their entree salads!

Felt like having breakfast for the first time! You need to come to this place and enjoy what will be an explosion of flavors, that you may tried before, but not in this fashion. Their breakfast presentation was outstanding, but the taste makes outstanding be an understatement. I was quickly rushed into a table. Yes, the place was packed, but they have a lot of tables, no waiting lines for breakfast. Definitely an A+. My server, Mia, was extra graceful and kind, made my breakfast experience way more enjoyable. I thought that by the amount of people it was going to probably take a while. My food was served super quick. This restaurant is doing an amazing job. I will definitely be coming again, you should too.

Visited for my first time this past weekend and I can honestly say I love this place. I knew I was in for a great meal when after I sat down, and shortly after I placed my order, they brought over a free crêpe with berry jam on top. It was a great start to the meal and it’s so rare that you get anything free when dining out in LA. It’s located up in sleepy Thousand Oaks and because of that parking is much easier in this part of LA than down south. There is a large free parking lot attached so parking was really easy. Our server was also extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Inside is quite large and they have many different seating options available and can host many different size groups. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table for a 10 AM Saturday brunch. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of classic items so it was hard to choose what I wanted to order. As always I started with a cup of coffee and it was strong and did the job. For my meal, I chose the namesake Eggs N Things Omelette because I had heard that their omelettes were seriously tasty and can confirm that they definitely are. They are very large in portion size and I chose to add avocado to mine which I would recommend to anyone. I also got a side biscuit and can say that this is one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had in LA. I loved every bit of it and would go here again specifically for the biscuits. The pancakes were also light and fluffy and had great flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a really solid breakfast option.

Stonefire Grill is a local chain that offers a variety of dishes including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and grilled American entrees along with wine and beer. Founded in 2000 by Mary and Maureen Harrigan, it now has seven locations in the area. The restaurant prides itself on providing freshness, efficiency, and value in a fast-casual setting.
Stonefire grill is ALWAYS a good choice. Their menu has something for everyone and everything is made fresh. My favorites are the Mac and cheese, Tri-Tip, mashed potatoes, and of course their pizza. NOW, I can't leave a review without mentioning that Stonefire Grill has THE BEST Cheesecake you will ever have and their Carrot Cake is otherworldly as well. I tried their new pretzel bites which were fantastic and the beer cheese was incredible as well. Okay, go and try it all and report back!

Please note i have updated my review. I still like the food but so not the environment I have never been a fan, but decided to give them a try again. I do love their carrot cake, my fiancée likes their chop salads, so ok I did it. Well this time they did not disappoint. I got the buger, wow it was fabulous. So ok I be back for the burger and carrot cake to go. Not much of a fan of the cafeteria dining feel but if have to eat there it is not a deal breaker. Added to my review went there a month ago and was in shock about how utterly messy this place was and no one who was working there nor the manager cared or cleaned up. Food, trash, silverware was al over the floor. We were the for a long time because the food took forever. Everyone was just socializing. When we were trying to find a table none were bussed. Found one but it was covered in food on the table and chairs, had to clean it up myself, they just kept walking by as I stood up pointing at the table. As we sat and waiting for the food nobody bussed tables, no one picked up the food, trash or silverware off the ground, nothing. I watched a couple come in and try to move the plates off the table from the previous diner and a employee came up finally to help but the only placed all of it down on a empty table with other dirty dishes and they did not offer to wipe the table for the new diners. If the front of the restaurant looks like this and the employees and even the manager can't do their jobs to make the place nice for the people that dine there then what does the back look like?????

The service was excellent. They replaced one of our meals since my daughter did not like the taste. The lemon garlic chicken was delicious and the salad came exactly how I ordered it. The indoor seating area is very lovely and the outdoor dining area is beautiful. It was too cold to sit outside even though we really wanted to. They were out of tropical tea but as soon as I let someone know, they immediately started brewing some. I like the self serve area but the "to go boxes" were gross. Lots of greesy fingerprints on a lot of them. I finally found a clean one near the bottom of the pile.

We love Stonefire Grill, especially for catering family parties and school events. Their tri-tip, pastas, and salads are always delicious. Some of our favorites are the pesto pasta and the BBQ chicken salad. They do such a good job with catering orders. Everything is always on time, hot and fresh, and they never miss a detail. It's so nice to have a place you can count on when you need to order for a large group. I also go here for lunch with friend quite often. It's one of our favorite lunch spots in Westlake.

The food is decent. We had pizza and which I would eat again. But the service is mediocre at best, you do most things for yourself, and the place was not clean. I would not choose to go here, but if I was with a group who wanted to go, i wouldn’t stop them.

Two stars is being very generous. The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! It's my first time ever eating here. Dear Frankie was so kind and tried to help also Gerald thank you for your patience. The French dip sandwich could be better, but it is the worst. The young staff is energetic and friendly, but they often become distracted, chatting among themselves. As a result, food is left unattended and served cold. Also asparagus clearly shows on their menu that it's a side, but they keep saying that it's an appetizer when it's not. Also it's a very popular spot for young adults and teenagers to come to. FYl they vape inside the restaurant, the girl across from us was vaping in the booth. Also one of the waitresses with short blonde hair that is fairly tall was showing to much PDA to her boyfriend that wears black rimed glasses while on the job serving to food to customers. Also it took them almost 45min to bring us our drinks. Which was a beer and a glass of white wine. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Hopefully they fix this and my next experience will be more pleasant.

Customers can enjoy their flavorful food made with fresh ingredients and consistent meat taste. The type of tortillas used for the tacos is uncertain but they are still enjoyable, giving off a Tex Mex vibe.
Love their street tacos, chorizo and papas is my fave. My kids love the carne asada and it’s family friendly so we enjoy sitting at the long tables on the porch. More faves are their homemade aquas frescas, try jamaica or watermelon. New to menu is quesa birria. Quesadilla with very flavorful slow cooked beef and broth for dipping or sipping. Yum.

What a great local historic place to enjoy traditional bbq SoCal style. TriTip, ribs, sides great seating all served up with a dose of history. Love this place. It is lost in time and a favorote.

I’m a regular at Thousand Oaks Meat Locker—usually stopping by 2–3 times a month—and it never disappoints. The food is consistently solid and satisfying. It may not be the absolute best BBQ I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely Conejo Valley good, and that counts. The service is always friendly and helpful, and the rustic vibe of the restaurant feels perfectly authentic for a BBQ spot. I love grabbing lunch here with friends. The atmosphere and local charm always keep me coming back. Locally owned, consistently good, and a place I’m happy to support.
Lonney G — Google review
This place has that old-school, classic charm — not fancy or well-maintained, but it has its own kind of mystique. The service is reasonable, nothing to rave about but it gets the job done. The pork and beef ribs are definitely the highlight — flavorful and satisfying. The tri-tip sandwich is just okay; the beef lacks depth and tastes a bit too mild, possibly from cheaper grain-fed cuts. One great plus: they can prepare meals for large groups (12–20 people) for pick-up, which is super convenient if you’re hosting an event at home.
Leandro G — Google review
Picked up food for takeout. Meats were dry and not that flavorful. The two sauces were meh. The beans were watery and didn’t have any interesting flavor. I’ve had better canned pork and beans. No one goes there for the atmosphere. Service was average. Food wasn’t ready at the scheduled pick up time
Frank W — Google review
The meat is refrigerated no choice on how you want cooked, the place was empty when I was there its a nice place but missing something probably never going back..

The girls are so nice and the chicken and tri tip sandwiches are simple, and to the point. Been coming here for years. Can't go wrong

I travel 2 hrs just to taste the amazing tritip sandwich and ribs. Have been coming to this spot since for mote then 20 years.
Annabell — Google review
Ordered the Manly Tri Tip sandwich with beans and macaroni. The Trip Tip was good but a bit dry for my taste. Good meat should be delicious without the use of BBQ sauce. The habanero sauce was on point and I would definitely buy next time I'm in the area.

Chocolatine French Café is a delightful gem nestled in Southern California, offering an authentic taste of France. Open every day, this charming café invites guests to indulge in a variety of sweet and savory dishes that cater to all appetites. Start your morning with a rich café au lait paired with a flaky chocolate croissant or enjoy lunch options like the classic croque monsieur or the seasonal quiche du jour.
The owner received my husband and me with welcoming energy while helping other guests. The small coffee shop is charming and has a French radio station playing background music. We had two cappuccinos, grilled cheese, and a chocolate croissant for breakfast. The drinks were excellent, with good foam texture and balance between coffee and milk. The grilled cheese had the perfect melting cheese. The croissant had the typical super light layers that French pastry usually has. It is a cozy and family-owned place worth a visit for some delicious French patisserie. Merci, Chocolatine. Au revoir.

My son was in the mood for a crepe, so we tried Chocolatine based off of their Yelp reviews. We were greeted in French by our lovely server (I believe the owner) who helped recite the menu for us, since our AT&T cellphone service did not work inside to view the menu. I ordered the Today's Special bacon quiche du jour and my son ordered a Nutella and strawberry Crepe. The quiche was delicious, fluffy eggs, and a flakey crust. Yum! It came with a nice side salad with a mustard vinaigrette. We ordered some macaroons and a crème brûlée tart to bring home. Everything tasted fresh and delicious...We especially loved the tart! I loved that we were greeted in French, it made me feel like we escaped to France for lunch Photo of Chocolatine French Café - Thousand Oaks, CA, United States. Chocolatine is a really neat French cafe, with a really nice ambiance and friendly staff. Unfortunately they do have a policy of closing their kitchen 30 minutes prior to closing so I was not able to order any food, but everything looked delicious! The mojito soda was great, I'm surprised it isn't a traditional flavor here. There are a handful of tables inside and 2 outside however it does get very sunny in the front in the middle of the day.

What a petite Gem of A cafe🌻Right by my $20 massage place on TO Blvd. there’s a busy street taco joint next door. I bypassed the noisy crowds and enjoyed a lovely sandwich and iced latte here @ CHOCOLATINE! Very reasonable ! Charming chef and waitress. They even speak French! There is a panoply of 🍨 🍮 desserts baked in house. Macarons , cookies, chocolate tarts, croissants ! Be sure to take some cookies to go. The atmosphere is zen and perfect even on A hot summer day! I’d give it 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s WHAT A DELICIOUS DISCOVERY 😎🍪🍨

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is an upscale chain offering a unique dining experience with all-you-can-eat meat carved tableside and an extensive salad bar. Located at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks, this authentic Brazilian steakhouse provides the traditional Churrasco Experience where guests pay a flat, per-person price to enjoy expertly grilled meats served tableside by masterful chefs.
Yesterday evening my family and I stopped by to have drinks and appetizers. We have never had a full buffet, but the happy hour offers are excellent. Lamb Lollipops and Cocktails were excellent. It was fine food in a very alluring setting. The all-day happy hour is a brilliant idea if your not in the mood to stuff yourself with the buffet. The evening started off with minor glitches and issues but Assistant Manager on duty, Ingrid Krotova, smoothed over these initial difficulties. She attended to our needs was very engaging and professional in her demeanor and by the end of the meal she had healed over any initial misunderstandings by making small gestures that made us feel welcomed. She went out her way to ensure our evening was as pleasant as possible. She made every attempt not only to make our dining experience a pleasant one but one where she also lent a hand to her wait and busing staff in the performance of their duties. We shall return and continue to delight in the happy hour menu selections. Sometimes less, is more!

Last night I took my partner to celebrate his 24th birthday to Fogo de Chão in Thousand Oaks. It was out first time, the food was amazing, the cooks did a great job, all the staff that brings you the meat are so polite! Very elegant. Katherine was our server and she was such a sweetheart! Made us feel very welcomed, attended to us with such a great attitude and never once made us feel rushed. Jason also attended to us as we were finishing up, and was also very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Also it was very awesome to talk with Leonardo! I over heard him speak Portuguese, so I called him over and he had a conversation with my partner who also speaks Portuguese. I loved that for my partner, because I hardly get to hear him speak Portuguese, so that was a lot of fun! My partner and I will be returning! It was a great experience!

We celebrated our son's birthday at Fogo de Chão in Thousand Oaks, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel genuinely valued throughout the evening. What stood out most were the incredible waiters serving the various cuts of meat — not only were they attentive in explaining each selection, but they also took the time to personally connect with us. Their friendly demeanor and engaging conversations made the evening feel truly special. Every detail — from the delicious food to the thoughtful service — made this a birthday celebration to remember. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a memorable night out!

We had such a wonderful experience dining here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Jayden was the best server, very attentive without ever being intrusive, knew the menu inside and out. Overall, both the restaurant and the service exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

Amazing food, unbeatable service, great atmosphere. Love the unlimited buffet af unbeatable. Just remember, small or no salad bar when you get your plate They keep bringing different meats around to your table. Enjoy! WE ARE BACK AGAIN. Absolutely amazing food and service servers Brian, Jason, and Danial continually bring us many choice meat varieties. Our waitress Alana was awesome keeping everything we needed. The Manager Eliza also stopped by the table several times to make sure everything was great. THANK YOU all for another GREAT MEAL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE.

Golden Dragon Restaurant is a delightful gem for anyone craving classic Chinese cuisine, offering an extensive menu that caters to both American-Chinese favorites and authentic Sichuan dishes. This cozy eatery has a welcoming vibe, reminiscent of a family-run establishment where the staff genuinely cares about your dining experience. While it primarily focuses on takeout, you can still enjoy your meal at one of their few tables if you choose to dine in.
We just moved to the area and were on the hunt for a great Chinese restaurant — and Golden Dragon is it! The delivery was super quick, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. On top of that, the price is fantastic for the quality and amount you get.

It seems to be a small mom and pop Eatery Young and grown up adults service service cook and prepare prepare take out. So it seemed like a family business quaint and nice every effort is made to make your experience pleasant. The food was pretty good service also. Definitely a nice experience. There is really no ambiance because they are geared more for take out out but we entered and we were the only ones That were seated but by the time we left all 5 tables were full. So clearly it's a popular place in 1000 oaks.. If you want great price points good dish portions and a great selection. I recommend giving them a try.

Typical local Chinese spot. Service was surprisingly good and the food wasn't too salty.

Has this restaurant changed owners? I have not had the food in a while, but the quality has gone down. Chefs special crunchy shrimp had about 8 shrimp and no sauce. Broccoli provided was raw. Crab cheese wonton was very skimpy on the filling. Disappointing.

This food is worse than a mall food court. Do not go here. And do not buy the egg foo young. It is unlike any egg foo yong I have ever experienced in six decades of life. It is unappealing and awful.

Great Chinese takeout spot. Got the orange chicken, string beans and pork, three cup chicken. The orange chicken is pretty good, bit thick on batter but gives panda express run for money. The three cup chicken is a bit dry but flavorful. The string beans and pork is a spicy but good. Overall, solid flavor and you'll do well getting takeout here.

I eat here a lot, about 50% of the time I place the order to go. I've tried at least half or more of the items on their menu. The food quality is fantastic, authentic, the portions are GARGANTUAN and for the prices they charge - tremendous value/quite reasonable! The House Special Fried Rice is 1 of my Favs. In the Fall/Winter their Soups are wonderful - Egg Flower is unique...Hard to go wrong ordering anything on their menu - I've NEVER had a bad experience and I always look forward to the next time I eat here.

There is something really off when you see all these great reviews for some of the gamiest tasting, dried up meat I've ever had. I ordered the 'chef's choice' golden noodle which has chicken, beef and pork.. and the poorest quality meat I've ever tasted. It tasted.. I don't know, old? And gamey. Oiley and recycled. Look at all my other reviews. I hardly ever give a bad review unless it is really bad.

Dong Ting Spring is a culinary gem that brings the authentic flavors of Hunan cuisine to life, making it one of the best spots for Chinese food outside San Francisco on the West Coast. The restaurant's ambiance has been transformed with ample natural light pouring in through tall windows, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, it's truly the menu that steals the show. Each dish showcases homemade sauces and pickled vegetables crafted right in their kitchen, ensuring an authentic dining experience.
Best and warmest Chinese food in town! Food is perfect! and Cindy just made our experience like being home! It was raining outside, our lunch inside was full of sunshine.

Absolutely delicious. Incredible service. Kind staff and surprisingly fast kitchen. Everything we ate was soul warming and portioned. I can’t wait to come back and am so happy this was close to where we live and we don’t have to go all the way to the SGV.

Authentic Chinese Food, great staff, and super friendly staff. The Hunan inspiration means almost everything has a spicy kick. Don’t let this scare you away because the staff is very helpful in adjusting the spice level to your preference. We had the Shumai, BBQ Buns, Braised Pork Thigh, Fried Green Beans and the Pepper Beef. This IS NOT typical fast food style Chinese food. This is an authentic, family style, Chinese cuisine made when you order and worth every penny.

The food here is amazing. The food was easily some of the best Chinese food I've had in years. They were super nice and my food was out crazy fast. My only regret is that I'm only visiting for work and won't be able to have their food more often!
Will M — Google review
Ended up here after it was recommended to me by a friend of mine whom hails from Shanghai. If a Chinese person recommends a Chinese food restaurant, you go. I was not disappointed. Place was excellent. Full disclosure, I picked up a to-go order but the restaurant looked clean and orderly. The staff that helped me out was beyond friendly and made sure I had everything I ordered and needed. They have two "menus" to choose from. One is what they call "Traditional Hunan Gourmet" where they seem to have what you would consider traditional Chinese food from China. The other menu is what they call "New Style Chinese" and from the looks of it, it's the stuff you would find at a certain fast casual strip mall establishment. 😉 I had the stir fried pork with fresh bamboo shoots from the traditional menu, some chicken eggrolls, and a combo fried rice. WOW! Soooooo good. The flavor of this food took me back to the 1st time I had tried Chinese food as a little boy when there was only 1 Chinese food establishment in the city. This is legit Chinese food. Wish I had taken some pictures but didn't think of it until afterwards. Nowadays, it seems harder and harder to find just basic "home cooked" tasting this-is-exactly-how-mom-used-to-make type of restaurant food. I will certainly be back.
Art R — Google review
Since we are not familiar with Hunan, the waitress explained in detail those we have ordered. All dishes are very delicious. I can't stop eating even though i am already full--a first for me. The cold chicken with chili sauce was ordered to be less spicy. It is perfect to our taste. The chow mien is fresh and was told the noodle is home made. The broccoli chicken is also delicious and neither spicy nor salty. Lastly, the roasted duck is soft and juicy on top of halfy cooked cabbage. Its sauce is yummy, a perfect match to the duck. Definitely, we will return each time we are in Thousand Oaks. Good thing our hotel Hampton Inn by Hilton is a walking distance to this restaurant.

Food is fantastic but the girl at the front Cindy was just horrible. Why have someone that doesn’t won’t to be there at the front. On her phone the whole time. Didn’t great, yelling at the kitchen staff. And then had the audacity to come and ask why we didn’t tip. I truly hope that’s not the owner or some nepo-kid just there.
Johan P — Google review
Ordered for both dine in and takeout service was really fast for both. The food is so delicious made to order so it is always hot and full of flavor. This is a local favorite of mine since 2019 since my friend brought me here and he mentioned that the food reminded him of home. They are so kind and they give you plenty of time to decide and don’t badger you with needing anything.

This charming eatery features a dynamic specials menu that highlights seasonal ingredients while also offering beloved classics that feel like old friends upon each visit. Every dish at Decker Kitchen is crafted with care, including their artisanal bread made through an impressive 24-hour fermentation process.
Just had breakfast at their soft opening and, as expected, it was excellent. The prices are good, the food is delicious and fresh, the drinks are well made and fairly priced, and the staff is friendly. Ordering from the QR code on the menu is also a great idea, especially for ordering on the course. The breakfast burrito was perfectly sized and the ingredients are proportioned well. Going to try the other options soon. Congrats to Graham and the team at DK and Lindero Golf!

Sourdough: 10/10. I get how this bread put them on the map. Chewy, crusty, crunchy, and moist. Pork chop: 9/10. It's easy to overcook pork but it was a bullseye (pig's eye?) Chicken: 8/10. The skin was a little hard to cut through. Cocktails: 9/10. Interesting flavors and ideas coming from the bar. Overall, service was excellent. They never rush us and the food came out in good intervals. To be fair there weren't many customers when we had dinner.

We played hooky for the afternoon while our son was at an activity and celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at Decker Kitchen. What a memorable experience! The food was enchanting! We started with an alcohol-free mocktail and a couple of Oskar Blues pilsners from the tap. We followed that up with an order of their famous, 3-day rise, sour dough bread service with butter. Wow! The crust was crispy and amazing! I could not cut through it with a butter knife. We had to grip it and rip it, as they say in golf. Wait! I think I'm still chewing it! Then, we ordered an heirloom tomato salad with homemade, crispy croutons. It contained yellow and red heirloom tomatoes with a light tomato vinaigrette. It was so light and delicious! We then shared a margarita pizza, which was perfectly crispy and charred in their wood burning pizza oven. Check out the photos, which, by the way, don't do the food justice, regardless of their quality. Finally, I asked whether they had a dessert menu, and the waiter acted a bit coyly while responding that he'd check. When he returned, he brought with him a complimentary creme brulee Napoleon. It was so creamy, and crispy and delicious! What an experience! We'll definitely be back, and I highly suggest you do the same. Please check out the photos!

Won't go back. Was hopeful based on reviews and that there is a dearth of nicer restaurants in the Conejo Valley. But we (family of 4) had a bad experience. Saturday night and it was about half full so not really busy. Server was super nice, but.... very untrained. These all happened in the span of 10 minutes... Wife: how is the Pinot noir by the glass? Server: I don't know. Me: what kind of oysters are they? Server: I don't know. Wife: what is the ratio of beets to greens in the beet salad? Is it more beets than greens... is it balanced..? Server: I don't know. Other things: - Ordered the baked mac and cheese for our daughter. The bartender dropped it off at the table quickly (guess the server was busy?) saying, "Careful, it's hot," and scooted away. Well... it wasn't. It was cold. Like, out of the cooler and thrown in an oven for just a couple of seconds. Told the server and she offered to "warm it up" (wrong response) but by then our daughter had eaten some of our son's pizza and it worked out, so we asked her to take it off the bill and she seemed shocked. - I ordered "the burger." SERVER: Which one? ME: "There's more than one? I didn't see a second burger on the menu..." SERVER: There are two in the system. ME: (flipping the menu over and double checking) "Only the Spanish burger is on the menu." SERVER: OK, so you want the Spanish burger? ME: "Well, I don't know now. What is the other burger?" SERVER: I don't know, there's just another burger in the system. (Another IDK!) ME: ....... I'll have the Spanish burger, please." (the burger was really good, btw) - Burger came with roasted potatoes. They were totally scorched. - The burger was $21 on the menu... but got the bill and was charged $24. They made the adjustment when I pointed out the difference and asked the server to change it back to $21. But still........ Anyway - bummer. Really wanted to like it - won't go back.😞

Wow! Huge slices. Outstanding flavor. Detroit style, grandma style, NY slices. Reminds me of a combination of some of my favorite pizza joints in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I ordered the Detroit style Sicilian. It was thick, fluffy and gooey. Plenty of marinara on it. Good flavor. I should’ve quit there. The BBQ chx looked so good I went back to order a second slice. They’re so big! My $17 meal was a bout to become $25. The flavor on the front side of the pie was sweet and tangy. It was def worth it. Until I got to closer to the crust. This NY slice was too thick, airy and doughy. I ended up eating half of it. If you like a thick crust that’s soft inside, maybe this is your bag. I kept the 5 star rating because I think this can be 5 star, pizza depending on what you order. Definitely good enough I will come back to try another flavor/style.

Lost in Translation. This is "fake pizza," and I won't be back. Here's why: I hope the namesake Tony Gemignani reads this... I have no doubt that Tony G won an award for one of his pizzas at a competition. The problem though is that I'm sure on that day, at that specific competition, his dough probably consisted of water, salt and flour only... 3 ingredients. There was probably a day or two of fermentation going on to get that nice sourdough structure and flavor. I'd also presume that the ingredients on that day of that competition were far more Superior than what was replicated at this Slice House location. FYI, For commercial restaurant pizza reproduction, there are a lot of substitutes, and cutting corners. And I feel like trying to replicate or mimic that Exact award-winning pizza at the competition fell flat at this specific location. Here's the problem. The dough here at Slice House does not have structure. It's very crumbly, and I can tell by experience that there are a lot of additives, stabilizers and chemical conditioners which were incorporated into the dough here to try to give it structure, an airy rise and crispness. Also, the toppings here are definitely subpar. The cupping salami is definitely over-processed garbage, the spec was more like cheap scrapple from the mid west. What that means is that all that oil and grease penetrates into the dough while it's baking in the first couple minutes, and turns it into crisco. It's like deep frying your dough in a deep fat fryer. Tooooo oily and greasy. The most disappointing thing of all those was when I found out that they use an electric oven to bake the pizza. Seriously?! If you're going to charge me a premium price for an "award-winning pizza," I would expect a better dough with 3 to 4 ingredients, and at least have an open flame or a wood fired oven. When the pizza bakes in the oven, it should come together in one homogeneous unit. The sauce should meld with the cheese, and the toppings should become part of the entire pie. You just don't get that with an electric oven. Everything on the 3 pizzas I tried were seperate. What I also noticed was that the dough itself didn't have enough salt. There's no flavor in the dough, so you're relying on the toppings to penetrate down through the crust... And sadly, they don't. Everything is "good," or "the best you've had," until you've had better. Honestly, if you're a 16 year old kid who wants to spend $7 on a slice of pizza, this might be the place for you. But for touting yourself as an "award winner," Slice House was a disappointment. Don't believe me? Go to a place down the street like Freda's or Made in Italy half a mile away, and see, taste and feel the difference in the dough. See for yourself how an open flame or wood fired dough tastes and comes together with the sauce, cheese and toppings. Tony G., heart to heart, seriously, change your dough at Slice House to the way it was at the competition. Because I'm definitely not paying $$$$ for crisco, oily, greasy, tasteless pizza at Slice House again. Your staff is great though definitely keep them. The service was exceptional. I just didn't like the food.

Heard a lot of hype around this spot, and overall I was happy with the meal. I preferred the Angeleno slice to the wise guy. The hot honey is a great touch, and they’re not stingy with the toppings. Both crusts were good but the grandma crust was a bit more unique and better executed I feel. Everything came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. There’s a parking lot behind the building with a good amount of spaces.

#### Google Review I highly recommend this place! The manager, Paul, and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, always making you feel welcome. The pizza is absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients that make every bite a delight. You won't be disappointed!

Give this place a try! Slice House TO offers really good slices of Pizza. I came on a Saturday around 3pm and it wasn't too busy. Slices of pizza are about $6 depending on which one you select. You can also order a full pizza. I'm not a Vegan, but Vegan cheese is offered here! The flavors are unique and unlike anything I've had in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Restaurant
Los Agaves is a casual eatery that offers a variety of premium Mexican dishes like enchiladas and chile rellenos in a spacious setting. The restaurant's staff is known for their friendliness, creating an atmosphere where customers feel like friends rather than just patrons. Whether you visit the Santa Barbara or Montecito location, you can expect the same delicious flavors in each restaurant.
This place never misses. IMO the best Mexican food from Agoura to Newbury Park. Ingredients are just great quality. Service always fantastic. I highly recommend this place. All the food pictures with two margaritas and tip about $150. Pricey? Not for what you get.
Black C — Google review
Good atmosphere for a group or a date. Not ideal for kids. I like the idea of ordering at the counter and then they bring the food & drinks to your table. No need to have a waitress wait on you. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and flavorful. The Chile Verde burrito was a little above average. The fish tacos and nachos were great.

I came here with my family after a day at the beach and it was wonderful! When we walked up to the restaurant there was a line to see the hostess, (I took that as a sign this was a good place in the area) and they had free water outside with cucumbers in it. It was so refreshing, especially since we just came from the beach! Before we went up to order, we were brought a chips and flight of salsa which had three different salsas on it. (All were fantastic) I ordered the Carne Asada and my wife ordered the Ceviche and a Margarita. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for some amazing food!

This is probably our favorite place locally. And by the looks of the lines every time we go, it's everyone else's fave as well. The food is on point every time. The Molcajetes is so dang good. Nice selection of drinks. If I could make one recommendation it would be to have a spicier salsa option. But that's a minor nit to pick. Super good food. Great service.

Great variety of menu and good quality food. Great for gathering. We used to go one in SB area when we had soccer game for boys. Combinations meal is our favorite. I ordered margarita last time it was also good.

This place is absolutely fabulous. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is divine. Jerry is a true asset to this establishment, his demeanor and joyful personality is so refreshing. Although I'm not local, my mom is and she will be back time and time again thanks to Jerry and the delicious food and drink. Thank you Los Agaves for a great dining experience.

8/14/2025 Stopped by Los Agaves for dinner. We were able to get a nice high top table. Table #1. The hostess was so nice and calm considering how busy they were and the amount of people waiting outside. We both ordered the enchilada suizas. I had an iced tea and the wife just drank water. The margaritas look good but we gave up alcohol going on two months now. The chips and salsa assortment were good and the food hot and tasty. Highly recommended. 8/9/2024 What a wonderful dining experience at Los Agaves. Celeste was our amazing server and we started with drinks. My wife had the Don Julio Blanco with Topo Chico and three limes muddled with mint and I had a frozen Mango margarita. The chips and various salsas were tasty. My wife ordered the halibut taco entree and I had the enchiladas suizas. The service is top shelf and the ambiance positive and fun. This is a very popular local spot. Highly recommended 👌 1/5/2024 What a fantastic evening at Los Agaves. Carlos was our server and bartender and he was amazing. We started with margaritas and Carlos is a pro at making the best. My wife had a fish tacos and a chicken taco with rice and beans and I had the chicken fajitas. The food came out perfectly and was so tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time. The service is fantastic and the ambiance is positive and airy. We enjoyed the dining experience and highly recommend this hidden gem. 9/8/23 What a wonderful lunch at Los Agaves. We sat at the bar area and were assisted by Favian (Diego J), and not only was he an amazing server but also a top-notch bartender. I had the Tampequena, and my wife had the chicken tostada. The meals were amazing, as were the tequilla cocktails. The ambiance was pleasant, and the food and service were stellar. Highly recommended. Previous visit Great little find. Amazing margaritas and menu selections. We started with margaritas and chips and then ordered entrees. I had the steak picado and my wife the chicken taco combo. Great food, service, people, and a positive vibe. Recommended.
George U — Google review
This place offers the atmosphere and quality of fine dining with the expedience and efficiency of a small diner. Amazing food and prices. We had the Tampiquena and 3 item combo, precluded by great house chips and salsa (3 kinds!), roasted salsa, verde salsa, and a mild. All great. The steak was cooked right and both meals came with a ton of it. The rice was soft and fluffy, not to mention delicious. Flour and corn tortillas are house made and incredible. The menu offered so many choices it was hard to decide, and our only disappointment is that we don’t live closer so we could come here more often. Looking around at everyone else’s meals quickly became a game of ‘should we get that?’. The staff was attentive and friendly, and even the manager came by to make sure we had what we needed. Soft drinks are self serve, and they do have a bar for adult needs. Excited to return to and try some other menu items.

Doner kebab restaurant
Restaurant
Twisted Meats is a must-visit spot for German Doner Kebab enthusiasts. The restaurant's specialty lies in its unique cooking method on a vertical rotisserie called a Donergrill, resulting in perfectly crispy yet tender and flavorful kebab meat. Whether served in wraps, sandwiches, salads, rice bowls or with fries, every bite promises an explosion of authentic German flavors.
My kids and I enjoy coming here fairly often because we consider it, “ food that’s fast but not fast food”. Our favorite things to get are the beef/lamb doner wrap, the salad, and the kids meal. The meat is very tasty and flavorful and the wrap is made from flour imported from Germany. It’s very thin so it holds the sandwich together, but not bulky. The baklava comes in just the right size 3 small pieces to an order that’s perfect for our family of 3. On top of the great food, the service is good. People are friendly and to top it all off they have fun music playing in the background. Oh and lastly, they are open pretty late at night like midnight as well so there have been times when i’m having a late night and want to eat something healthy. This is my go to place.
Andrea H — Google review
Tried it because they have high reviews. The food was average. We ordered one Doner Fries Box and one kid’s option (with falafel). My husband said they were okay, not too bad. My opinion: the meat was dry and too bland. They have a generous of sauce but it was still too bland.
Judy C — Google review
Did the Wrap!! Listen when I say it’s fresh… it’s fresh! The seasoned and crisp veggies, the beef/lamb is beyond flavorful, hit it with the spicy and Tzatziki sauce! … PS, if you’re a feta cheese fan add that too! Sweet potatoes with a dash of the Twisted Meat rub brings the spice!! The patio with fresh herbs, spices and tomatoes boxes makes even the kids stop and say, “look mommy a tomato!” Enjoy, you won’t regret it!

I first tried the food from Twisted Meats at a birthday party and really enjoyed it. So when we were passing by we decided to give it another try and we really liked it. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The place was clean and parking was easy. The dressing were very nice.

Always delicious food. Döner Sandwich is incredibly huge and filling. Nice crispy bread on the outside and nice chew on the inside. My favorite is the chicken, double meat, no tomatoes, light lettuce, red and white onions, cucumbers, and red cabbage coupled with the original and spicy sauces and a drizzle of chili flakes.
Wes S — Google review
This place is great, the food is kind of a mix between German and Middle Eastern, and it just works. The bread used in the sandwich is awesome. The fries in the fries box are tasty with a crunch, kinda rustic like. The tzaziki and spicy sauces just go really well together. The people working are always nice. And they always have some good music playing. Its my favorite lunch spot at the moment. Check em out!

This was our first visit. We came early at 5:30 P.M. There were 6 in our party. We were looking for a casual, highly rated place to catch up with family. Overall, the experience was very good and the food was great. I got the tequila flight and seafood sampler(3 taco plate). I got more fries than I was expecting, so I had plenty to share with others. The servers were friendly and attentive and were in no rush to make us leave after we paid. If I'm in the area again, this restaurant will be on my list.

I love this place! Went several times with my boyfriend and we took many things from the menu up to now. They have great fish tacos and enchiladas. I have had also a vegetarian burrito in another occasion and liked it very much! In the menu there are many nice cocktails and drink. If you don’t know what to take I suggest the margarita flyers!

Came in on a Friday night and the place was pretty full. Grabbed a couple seats at the bar. The vibe in the place was chill and relaxed. I grabbed a peanut butter craft beer which was quite tasty. I ordered the seafood sampler, which has shrimp, Mahi and lobster tacos with frys. All three tacos were fire, especially the lobster. The frys well if your new to my reviews, remember that grading a kitchen based upon how they prepare fresh is ideal, 10/10 these were perfectly crispy and the light ol'bay seasoning was the right addition. My friends had fajitas and enchiladas both said they were delicious. We will come back at some point.

Went here for happy hour with my friend. It’s very vibey and cute! We sat in the bar. They have happy hour 3-6 with some great menu options and prices. They serve you chips and salsa - to start- the salsa is very good. We got Margaritas which were also good! Usually I don’t get margaritas as they can be very sugary but I got a strawberry marg and it was light and refreshing ! We also shared the empeñadas, esquites (corn) and chicken quesadilla. The empanadas come with an order of 2- I wish there were more cause they were sooo tasty and fresh! The esquites was also great and we ate it with chips . Lastly the quesadilla was delicious and stuffed with cheese and chicken accompanied by a zesty dipping sauce. Will definitely be back to try more menu items!!!

Most pictures people have posted are from the Malibu location. TO location is a cozy bar with four or five hightop tables. Food was wonderful. The menu has increased in price by apx 30% from posted menu. Lobster tacos were great @ $23.99. You have to ask for the happy hour $8 margarita special price and they weren’t my favorite. I’m sorry I didn’t take more pictures of both the place and the menu!!!

We stumbled upon this coffee shop during our vacation and visited twice! We loved the breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the sour dough was divine. Oh and the coffee is also fantastic. The barista was so kind to help us customize our drinks. We enjoyed an Irish cream cold brew with vanilla sweet foam and a brown sugar cinnamon shaken espresso. The coffees were not too sweet and vibrant in flavor. As a tourist, I’m jealous of the locals that get to enjoy this shop. It’s clean, friendly, and absolutely worth a stop.

We stopped by for lunch around 1pm on Thursday. I think they close at 2pm but not certain. Open for breakfast and lunch and do catering. Everything looked delicious. We had chilaquiles with spicy chorizo and a sandwich. The pastries in the case looked really good. Owner Mayra Cruz was there with her husband and newborn baby. There are a few tables inside and a patio. It's not fancy but the food and people are 100% real.

Had the Vegetarian burrito.. it was very soggy. The potatoes weren't even roasted- looked like they were cut and boiled and stuck in burrito. The counter employee had her boyfriend there and they were busy holding hands and talking at a table while dirty tables were in the restaurant. I think it was the owner sitting at the next table and they just let them carry on.. after receiving my burrito I had to approach the counter to get my coffee as the girl was too busy with her boyfriend.. I wouldn't suggest this place. Over priced and bad service.

The bagels are really good, the jalapeño and cheese is my favorite. They have a wide selection of pastries. The coffee is strong too! Don’t be fooled by the sometimes empty shelves on display, they always have something fresh baking in the back. My only knock is that they do take quite a bit long to get out orders… still some growing pains as far as workflow goes.

This eatery prides itself on serving fresh, locally sourced seafood while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability. Guests can enjoy a vibrant oyster bar and indulge in delicious dishes crafted from sustainable ingredients. The atmosphere is perfect for those looking to unwind during happy hour with refreshing cocktails or beer.
I’ve been to the Santa Barbara Lure and the Westlake Village restaurant did not disappoint. The beach-themed decor makes the place feel cozy! Food was amazing. We ordered the Miso Glazed Salmon and Fish/Shrimp and Chips. Both are perfect and tasty. The fish/shrimp batter is thin and crispy. They have an ample selection of drinks. Our server Sara was attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Everything we ordered was excellent: preparation, plating, temperature, and of course, taste. Add to that a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and Lure Fish House is the place for high-end meals. Is it expensive? Yes, but well worth the price. Also, ask for Cortni – she’s the best! One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be difficult to find close to the entrance, especially during busy times. More parking is available in BFE if you don’t mind walking.

Decided to stop by at Lure for lunch today. We got the Rock Shrimp Appetizer (I always get the sauce on the side) and it was delicious. We both got the lunch special fried fish sandwich with fries. The fried cod at Lure is always delicious. The fries were perfect, I order them extra crispy. I didn't love the coleslaw on the sandwich as it had chunks of pineapple in it and was too sweet for me but if you like sweet slaw, you may enjoy it. Their tartar sauce is really good so next time I'll get the coleslaw on the side..and always an extra side of tartar sauce to dip the fries in, too.

We had a very positive experience here on a Sunday evening. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was pleasant and not too noisy. For a party of five, our wait was only about 15 minutes. The daily specials, including the swordfish, rockfish, and salmon, were all excellent, as was the Trout Almondine from the signature menu. The sides were also a highlight—we particularly enjoyed the sweet potato fries and pineapple coleslaw. The only item I wouldn't recommend is the clam chowder, which was average. Parking was also a breeze in the large shared lot.

Walked in and waited for a booth to be cleaned for us. Host very active in securing us a spot. Waiter very attentive and our wine brought promptly to the table. Order placed and food arrived in a timely manner. Seasonal salad with salmon were both done perfectly. Fish, shrimp, and chips were good. Fish a bit wet inside the fry though, but still tasty. Chips were actually skinny fries, but tasty as well. Coleslaw really good with a touch of pineapple. Great match for the Chardonnay from Monterrey. #stevensleavin

Had a good experience here when my networking group met there for lunch on 9/26/25. Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful. The bread was warm and everyone was pleased with their food. I got the ahi poke bowl off the lunch menu. The only downside is the parking can be tricky bec the lot is shared with two other restaurants and a hotel.

Good place to get some decent seafood and a fairly clean restaurant. The food is fresh and hot. Just hope the services a notch better to keep the glasses filled with water and soda without customers asking.

We didn't have a lot of time but wanted to stop at our favorite small chain of Fish restaurants in and around Ventura County. This was our first time at Lure in Westlake and they didn't disappoint us. They got us in really quick even though they were busy. A server that I stopped to ask were our server was, because we were in a hurry, was kind enough to stop what he was doing and take our order. Food came quickly and really hot. Their fish, shrimp, and fries is fantastic. While you wait they serve the best hot sourdough loaf with butter. They don't wait for your server to bring your food from the kitchen. They have anyone that is available bring it to your table so you get it nice and hot. All the staff was super nice and went out of there way to get us back on the road and to our destination.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Boccaccio’s! We were pleasantly surprised to get a reservation on a Saturday just an hour before arriving, and the staff seated us at one of the best tables with beautiful lake views — the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Veal Parmigiana was tender and flavorful, the Linguini Pasta Suprimo was rich and perfectly balanced, and the clam chowder was creamy and comforting. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. To top it all off, the Baked Alaska dessert was the perfect sweet ending — light, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. We’ll definitely be returning soon to enjoy another lakeside meal!

Absolutely stunning dining experience. First off, the free bread was divine. My group loved the drinks and the mains were delicious. However, pasta was just okay. It didn’t taste like homemade pasta. We sat right on the water during sunset and WOW it was gorgeous.

We made a lunch reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately at a large round table outside with a beautiful view of the lake. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Since it was a weekend we were able to order from either the lunch menu or brunch menu so there were tons of options. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak frites which he really liked. He said it was a nice tender cut of beef. Our group also had the chicken parmesan and some breakfast/brunch items which they all enjoyed. They have a very large outdoor seating area and it’s nice sitting outside with the lake. Very nice weekend brunch vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the price point since most brunch spots can be way overpriced. They served their signature Baked Alaska as a free dessert for the birthday girl which was really cool since it’s served flambéd. I really enjoyed Boccaccio’s and will definitely be back to try their dinner items.

Went here since our hotel recommended it. The restaurant is beautifully located by a private lake. Food is on par and overrated due to lack of competition. The seared tuna for starter was amazing and the star of the evening. The overprized lobstertail was ok but not much more and the same goes for the linguini al vongole. The desserts was ok. We will not return.

A Perfect Blend of Flavor, Ambiance, and Views We recently dined at this incredible spot and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere paired with stunning views that made the whole evening feel special. Whether you're out for a romantic evening, a celebration, or just a quality night with friends, this place delivers the perfect backdrop. We started with the K2 roll, a beautifully presented sushi roll topped with just the right balance of flavor and texture. The roll was fresh, creative, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Even if you're not typically a sushi person, this one might win you over. Next came the chicken lettuce wraps, which were crisp, flavorful, and satisfying. The chicken was well-seasoned and the sauce added a great depth of flavor without overpowering the dish. The crunchy rice noodles gave a great textural contrast, and the fresh lettuce made it feel light yet hearty. The steak salad was another hit. The grilled steak was tender and generously portioned, sitting atop a bed of fresh greens. It was both savory and refreshing—definitely a great option if you're looking for something hearty but not too heavy. We also enjoyed some expertly crafted cocktails, which were the perfect complement to the meal. Balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented, they added a nice touch of sophistication to the evening. To top it all off, we ended with a rich and decadent chocolate lava cake dessert, served with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and drizzled with chocolate and berry sauces. It was as delicious as it was beautiful—a perfect finale to a fantastic meal. Between the scenic views, relaxing ambiance, attentive service, and exceptional food, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience that checks every box.

Very beautiful romantic views of the lake with the restaurant located right next to it. The service can use some help but the views makes it worth the wait. Recommend knowing what you want right after you order drinks to speed up the service. I felt penalized with a lot of extra time for not being ready to order on the 1st ask. This place is best for couples who absolutely love sushi. It’s romantic and when you order their “OMG” roll, you’ll be saying “Oh My God!” for real. It’s that’s good. Great alternative is their Conejo Roll. Also tried their Mongolian Beef but it was underwhelming since the meat was chewy and had a lot of fat on it. It has great seasoning on it, but I would not order this again. Again come for the incredible view and their OMG sushi & you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve ordered the “sushi,” and it’s flavorful, colorful, and generously portioned. The ingredients are fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. However, some portions of the rolls are too big , and the rice is not so sticky, falling apart when trying to eat them. That said, instead of calling it “sushi,” they should label it “American sushi” or something similar, as it’s totally different from authentic Japanese sushi. However, what they serve is still very tasty and worth the try . The wasabi isn’t great, and the bread is just okay. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere, with a beautiful lake view, enhances the experience. The menu is diverse, offering a wide variety of options. It’s definitely a place I would return to for a casual, delicious, and unpretentious lunch.

We had a very nice experience at the Landing Grill and Sushi Bar Res. - great food, great service, and great locations. It has a breathtaking view where you can enjoy the meals and the view. We ordered the soup and salad, Korean Steak, and K2 Sushi - all are very tasty. I will definitely come back again, but for dinner to enjoy the sunset view. This place has my strong recommendation.

Absolutely AMAZING 🤯 From the view, to the service, to the food... all I can say is OMG 😲 WOW 😋 Shrimp & Scallop Stir-fry 🫶 Mongolian Beef 🙌 Grilled Salmon over Fettuccine 😝 Chilean Sea Bass w/mashed potatoes and vegetable de jour 🤩 Plus... sushi 🍣 rolls to die for 😍 If anyone is visiting in or around Westlake Village, it is a MUST for lunch or especially dinner. The view of the lake the hours before sunset 🌅 is FABULOUS 😎 Our server, Lauren, so bubbly, friendly, and attentive. WE WILL BE BACK to visit from Florida soon!!!!!!

I first visited this restaurant over 20 years ago and had an incredible experience. Hoping to relive that memory, I brought a new date here recently and was very disappointed. Even with a reservation, we were asked to wait for a table. I noted it was her birthday, but no one acknowledged it. We came specifically for the Baked Alaska, and when our waiter realized that was all we planned to order, his interest in our table vanished—we waited far too long to be served and checked on. The espresso arrived without sugar, and he didn’t ask if we wanted a double. The hostess was equally unfriendly. A simple smile would have gone a long way, but instead she looked like she hated her job and couldn’t wait to leave. The seating area felt overcrowded and loud, packing guests in like sardines. The dish presentation was nice, but it was too small to share and clearly tasted like it was ordered and not made in-house. I truly wanted this visit to match the magic I remembered, but it fell flat—very hard.

Very nice upscale lakeside elegance, yet not pretentious. Start with a Tito’s martini with the blue chew olives, and then we enjoyed a nice size portion of fried calamari (with spicy sauce). Then, stir fried chicken pot stickers. The Lost Coast Indica IPA came in a huge 16oz bottle for only $12. The Elberle cab sav was $15 a glass. Overall, pretty reasonable for lakeside outdoor covered dining! We never made it to dinner food, but it sure looked good as it went by us!!! VictorB

Old Place is a charming American eatery located in Agoura Hills, housed in a former general store that has been transformed to resemble the setting of an old Western film. The restaurant offers hearty steakhouse fare and boasts a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. Visitors can expect generous portion sizes and delicious food, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Additionally, its picturesque location in the Santa Monica mountains adds to the overall appeal of this dining destination.
The Old Place has been around for a very long time and has been a local favorite. Dinner reservations have to be made ahead of time as it’s always fully booked. In recent times it has become the it spot for all road enthusiasts whether car lovers, bikers or road cyclists. Everybody comes together for breakfast and coffee or drinks on the weekends and just hangs out. Food is superb. Coffee is tasty. Come check it out and you will not regret it.

The Old Place has a really cool atmosphere — rustic, charming, and full of character. The service is excellent; the staff is super kind and welcoming, which really makes the experience. While the food is just average, the overall vibe and hospitality more than make up for it. It’s a great spot to hang out and have a good time with friends or family. Definitely worth a visit for the experience!

Amazing spot with a unique old Western vibe — rustic wood interiors, friendly staff, and a peaceful, laid-back crowd. I had the draft beer (served in an aluminum can-style mug!), beef stew, and a side salad — everything was fresh, hearty, and flavorful. The setting is super quiet and relaxing, perfect for a getaway from the city. Service was top-notch, and the history of the place adds to the charm. One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in the Malibu area. Will definitely be back!

What an experience!!! My wife and kids brought me here for a birthday dinner. I was pleasantly surprised and left a very happy man. I grew up at Musso and Franks steakhouse in Hollywood. My father was the grill master for 35 years. So saying this place was an absolute amazing experience says quite a bit. You definitely need reservations to sit inside. Do it even try to walk in. The place is small but very comfortable. Highly Highly recommend The Old Place!!

We visited The Old Place today and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The property is spacious, and it doesn’t even feel like you’re still in Los Angeles — very beautiful and unique. We ordered the beef stew, a salad, and beer. Everything was tasty, though the salad didn’t seem very fresh. The bill came to about $100, but one thing I didn’t like was that an 18% service charge was automatically included.

Besides the exotic cars that show up here there isn't really anything that notable here. We got the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon rolls. The breakfast burrito was very tasty but its a hard sell at $20 plus an automatic 18% tip (for them just taking your order and calling it your number, they really should just make the prices higher). The cinnamon rolls were a complete let down they came with a cream cheese frosting that they don't even let you order without, the frosting if you like cream cheese isn't bad but it ruins food for me. And then all the pictures showed a large roll but this was three small rolls, so basically just a bunch of crust.

ATTN MANAGEMENT: This place is well-loved for its large portions and incredible ambiance but myself and my cohort cannot eat there because it is clear you use SEED OILS in your cooking. I know you make everything in-house but the quality of the ingredients paramount. We keep trying but we feel incredibly ill every time we eat here and we have determined it is because we are 100% seed oil free and eating at the OLD PLACE is ingesting SEED OILS that cause inflammation and stomach distress. I assume you use perhaps canola oil in your salad dressing, or to sear the meats? We beg of you, please make the switch. Use beef tallow, or ghee or olive oil or avocado. As locals we would love to enjoy this restaurant 2-3x per week but we are prevented from doing so by this simple fact. Regrettably we must advise all of our health-minded friends to avoid this place as well until the change is made. Please upgrade and we will be back! ELIMINATE SEED OILS NOW! Thank you 🙏🏻

I look for places that bring joy and The Old Place has been doing just that for years! It's a cozy space filled with good music and laughter. A place that cultivates unbelievably delicious cuisine that one can't get anywhere else. A place close to home but feels like a different world, rich with rustic outdoor charm, lots of seating, ample parking, and yes,...peacocks! Bring the kids, they will love it! After you eat you can take them across the street to the park for more adventures! I have had the pleasure of eating at The Old Place several times, and my favorite dish is the steak sandwich on fresh sourdough. The fresh fish and daily special salads are absolute heaven. Don't forget to try the potato wedges with fresh aioli! They have a scrumptious portobello sandwich for the non meat eaters, and for those looking to just sit and talk with friends, the coffee truck will whip you up some incredible coffee drinks. The deserts?? Unreal. Are you looking for some incredible food and great service nestled in the beauty of canyon? Look no further!

The restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere with picturesque views of the Conejo Valley from its patio that extends into the vineyard. Situated next to the Westlake Village Inn, this Tuscany-themed establishment provides a casual dining experience without requiring reservations.
I visited this place in the last week of December, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere had amazing vibes, making it perfect for a relaxing outing. I loved the cozy and inviting ambiance. The wines were excellent, and the pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the wine. This is a massive outdoor dining garden. With such a chill atmosphere and access to a small winery which makes it a great spot for a date or just casual dining. You can stroll through the garden and just be in awe of such scenic view. There’s also an inn located within the same area and another restaurant right next to it,reason why parking might be hard to find however it is worth it! Food is delicious and somehow simple but flavorful !!

The wines are very good; they also serve beer, tea etc. The food is also lovely BUT you order at the counter and are given a buzzer then have to retrieve your order yourself. A sad downgrade from their pre COVID days when there was table service. 😢. Hence fewer stars.

At 950pm on a Friday, they close the doors, shut off the heat lamps, and tell everyone to leave. I get it, the staff wants to go home, but such an abrupt, aggressive end to what was an otherwise a nice evening. It’s amazing how little things can influence your overall experience of a place.

Love this restaurant overall, though a bit on the pricey side for what u get. But the reason for my lower rating is the $70 tomahawk. The price itself fine IF it is quality meat. We ordered a tomahawk and over 50% was all fat and grizzle. We were very disappointed and the rest was very very chewy. Seasoning was good though and presentation was great. That said the other entrees and especially the appetizers were delicious. Though the creme brulee was cold and clearly premade

Held a company event here and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The venue offered the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth, with thoughtful layout and attentive staff who anticipated our needs. The food was truly stellar - beautifully presented, diverse options that accommodated all dietary preferences, and flavors that had our team raving for days afterward. The atmosphere struck just the right balance for productive discussions while still feeling special enough for celebration. Would highly recommend for any corporate function and will definitely be booking again for our next event.

The restaurant is a very nice place to eat right by the lake, so if you’re seated near the windows or outside, you’ll have a great view while you eat. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food is good, but not extraordinary by any means. My daughter and I got the filet mignon. She typically gets her steaks medium, but it came out much redder than she’s used to. I got mine medium rare, it too was redder than I was expecting. The taste was good, but rather basic. My youngest daughter got a pepperoni pizza that also had nothing noteworthy to it. We got an appetizer that had filet bites and pineapple. That was probably the best thing we got that night, other than possibly the lobster Mac and cheese. The food is definitely enjoyable, but the atmosphere and friendly service are the bigger draws for this restaurant. I would eat here again.

This is hands down one of my favorite spots anywhere—not just for the lively atmosphere and beautiful lake view, but because of the incredible people who make it so special. I’ve rarely seen a team work so seamlessly to deliver a consistently high-quality experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, dining with a large group, or just grabbing a casual dinner at the bar, the food is always great and the service is truly top notch. Huge shout-out to Andrew, Chris, Nick, Willie, Manny, and Rickki—they bring their A-game every time I return. Don’t miss the live music Thursday through Sunday—you never know who might show up!

Beautiful location! Beautiful scenery! Service was spectacular! We were on a short getaway and found this place by happenstance on Groupon, otherwise we never would have left Calabasas to find it! The steak was spectacular! And the surf and turf burrito was wonderful (We substituted scallops for shrimp)! Was a nice quiet place to have late brunch where we could actually hear each other, take in the scenery, and get some fresh air! Our server was very attentive, kind, and professional. We went to Paul Martin’s American Grill for a steak dinner on Valentine’s Day. I thought the staff was extremely nice and still gave us a table when there was a mix up with our reservation. They had a special Valentine’s dinner menu. We both got the Cowboy Rib Eye steak with a starter. I thought the lobster bisque was very tasty and actually had some small pieces of lobster in the soup. The spinach & goat cheese salad was also very refreshing. I was impressed by the steak, which was very savory. We also got some butter for the topping of the steak. I definitely recommend that because it made the steak even more delicious. We tried the truffle butter and blue cheese butter. They also have a nice bar area and a variety of drink selections. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend for a date night.

Came here for happy hour. Pleasantly surprised that they had happy hour on a Sunday. And they do pairings with burgers and sandwiches that come with a drink for a decent price. The menu isn’t huge but they have good items. I got the shrimp tacos and devolved eggs. The tacos were delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the deviled eggs. My mom got the spicy chicken sandwich and a cucumber cocktail. She devoured it! My husband got the burger with cheese and fries and he enjoyed that as well. We were sitting at the community table in the bar and everything was very pleasant.

Good food! The ahi was delicious! The ribeye was good, just slightly over what I wanted. The lemon tart has great flavor, but the crust was very soggy. All in all, it was a good meal. I just expected a bit more attention to details as well as better service.

Holdren's serves the best salmon with tropical fruit medley with mashed potatoes. It just has a great blend of flavors. My husband chose filet medallions with the twice baked potato. When the meals arrived we decided to split both so we could enjoy both types of food. DELICIOUS 😋 The perfect ending to celebrate our anniversary was the cheesecake that just melted in our mouths. Sat at the bar, no wait. I ordered the tomato basil Bisque and the grilled bacon wrapped shrimp skewers and veggies. The Bisque was probably one of the best I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and filling. The shrimp was awesome, but I could've used a little more char on my bacon. The veggies were good, gave me lots, couldn't finish. The bartender made a pretty good Old Fashioned too. I'll definitely go back!. A week later and I'm back! Sat at the bar again, no wait. This time I had the ribeye with mushrooms and demi glaze sauce, risotto, and that damn tomato basil soup. The soup was delicious again, but could've stood a little heat. It was just a tad warmer than room temp...the steak was good, not the best I've had, and I'm not totally sure it was worthy of the $56 price tag. The risotto was, well...risotto...nothing special, and it didn't suck. I may go back and try the Wellington. Also had a nice glass of Malbec.

I’ve eaten here a few times. I really love the chicken dishes but this time I tried the beef bourguignon. It was very delicious. My friend got the seafood pasta. The wine was also good. It’s a steak house so it’s expensive but definitely worth it. . . . Update- went back and again enjoyed myself. Hate to say it but i now feel the prices are just way to crazy for what you get. They don’t give you complimentary bread anymore either. They charge $3 for a “small basket” and $6 for a large. It’s a steak house- we pay a ton of money, the least they could do is give free bread? Additionally, we sat outside and the tables and chairs they have in certain areas are plastic and flimsy. I ended up getting the special which was filet mignon with a truffle sauce. To be honest the regular sauce they served was better. It also came with a special potato dish that tasted the exact same as their garlic mashed potatoes. Nonetheless the dishes are always served beautifully. We got the caprese to start and my dad got the rib eye and friend got the salmon which he very much enjoyed.

We have been coming here for years. The most consistently delicious food. I have been disappointed by restaurants that have my same dish done 5 different ways. Holdrens stays true. The risotto is unmatched, beating out bland places elsewhere. I get my steak rare and it has always been delicious and never over cooked. I wish they would open back up the lunch hours, we love far away and with kids it's hard to make it for a dinner but we try whenever possible. That's how good it is. Oh and the tomato basil soup *chefs kiss* Our 4 year old loves the soup and risotto.

I’ve been coming to Farfalla for years and have probably been here hundreds of times for happy hour between 3–6pm (it’s posted right on their front door). I joined friends for a quick drink, ordered my usual Aperol Spritz and an appetizer—same thing I always get during happy hour. When the bill came, everything was charged at full price. I politely pointed out the mistake, but both the waitress and manager refused to adjust it, saying I hadn’t been given a happy hour menu. That’s a ridiculous excuse, especially for a loyal customer who knows the offerings and times by heart. Really disappointing treatment. After years of giving them business, I won’t be coming back.

Farfalla is an Italian located at the promenade in Westlake Village. It is a sibling to the other Farfalla that is located in the Loz Feliz neck of the woods. This is a nice, upscale Italian restaurant. The food is not heavy and smothered in sauce to hide the favors. The dishes are simple and elegant. Most of the food is made in-house, so you shouldn't have to worry about thawed out frozen products. The service is impeccable. They are polite, knowledgeable, and continually come by to see if you need a water refill or anything else. This is a great establishment for get-togethers, dates, meetings, or just celebrating the love of Italian cuisine. You don't have to dress too fancy. Just dress to eat happily. It's worth the visit.

The food and service here are fantastic! The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The place is dimly lit which is always nice for dinner time. Wine pairings are always suggested depending on what you order and those pairings never fail 👌🏼 The desserts are also scrumptious along with the Moscato they pair it with. 🤤 The cocktails are also delicious and pair well with dinner instead of the wine. Definitely one of our favorite date-night spots! I highly recommend this place!
Vivian C — Google review
I’ve been to Farfalla many times as we love to support our local businesses, but this last visit was unbelievably CRAZY. We were there for a large family dinner and my cousin ordered a Caesar salad as an appetizer and bit into a screw - yes, an actual METAL SCREW in his food. Accidents happen, but what shocked me was how the situation was handled. He only received 40% off his entrée (not even the full meal) and zero apology from management. Not only was there NOT an apology, but they proclaimed that there was no way the screw could've ended up in the salad from the kitchen - basically insinuating it was not their fault - it was ours, somehow. We did get a free desert for the near death experience (which they chose) and it was also a flop. On top of that, the old Italian bartender is consistently rude and carries a bad attitude every time I’ve been there. It really sets a negative tone for the whole experience. The food itself? Honestly, 6 out of 10 at best - nothing to rave about. The only saving grace is Eddie, our usual server. He is the best! He is incredible - friendly, attentive, and professional despite the awful situation. Eddie deserves a raise and every big tip from customers because he’s (and their great happy hour lol) the only reason I’d even consider giving this place another chance.

My husband and I came in on a busy Saturday night, and were seated at the long communal table right away. We ordered an appetizer, wine, and two pastas, the Norcina and the Cacio e Pepe. My Norcina pasta was overcooked, salty and had no truffle oil nor porcini mushrooms. They advertise porcini mushrooms, but I got regular white mushrooms. There's a big difference. I had a few bites and called the server to ask to send it back. She asked if I'd like another dish, so I asked for the Arrabiata to-go at this point, as some time had now passed since we were seated. I came home and ate a few bites and found a piece of hair in my mouth full of pasta. Despite this, I don't like to bash restaurants with poor reviews, so I made it a point to call Farfalla the next day to let them know about my experience. The assistant manager called me back and after hearing about my experience, he made points to say their pasta isn't overcooked as it's fresh pasta, and that it's salty because of the sausage. I told him I've been to Italy and have made pasta in Italy, and know that fresh pasta can totally be made al dente. He didn't even address the hair issue in the Arrabiata, so I mentioned it again. He said that I complain too much and asked what he should do for me. So I told him, "Perhaps you could at least apologize?" I'm not looking for handouts and wanted to let him know about the lack of quality control in the kitchen. He didn't apologize and even dared me to leave my honest opinion online. I am baffled by his rudeness and audacity. As I made clear to him, I will never be coming back to this restaurant (to which he said "ok, that's fine" repeatedly). Keep in mind I wasn't yelling or anything but kept a calm tone throughout our conversation. Their customer service is shockingly deficient, and their kitchen safety and quality control aren't far behind. I hope this review serves them well in the future.

Crawford's Social, formerly known as Crawfords Corner Pub, has transformed into a lively community hub that maintains its original charm while embracing a more expansive social experience. Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, this local favorite offers a welcoming atmosphere where both locals and visitors can savor genuine hospitality with a contemporary twist. Whether you're there on opening day or joining later, it's an exciting place to be.
I hosted a luncheon for 30 family members and friends at Crawford's Social after my daughter's high school graduation, and it was spectacular in every way. The atmosphere was gorgeous, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious. Special shout-out to Mikey on the staff! Everyone is still raving about it, and I would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone - for small or large groups. Thank you for making my daughter's celebration so special.

I come here lunch time too but my most favorite time is sunset time here at Crawford. Compared to when they first opened food tasted improved much better. Still our favorite is Brussels sprouts salad 😊 All foods are good! This is place relax with friends, such a great atmosphere. Totally best for big party too.

Reason for visiting: lunch for my brother's upcoming birthday, 50th Date/time of visit: Friday, 3:00 PM Parking: in the adjacent lot, shared with other businesses; free Party size: 4 Environment/ambience: open air restaurant; weather was great. Nice breeze throughout restaurant. 2 big TVs but not sure if they show any games; they had ads on when I saw. Happy Hour 2-5 PM. Service: was good; came often often. Friendly and offered suggestions. Host was friendly too. Food: had the happy hour crab cakes (1 each order), meatballs (2) with sauce, mini pizza (4 small slices). Also had the Hawaiian Stone Sour. Everything was good; if you order the happy hour pizza and meatballs, try the pizza with the meat sauce from the meatballs. Pretty good. Cost: $150 with tip Would I go back (yes/no): 80/20

Sadly, it’s extremely noisy. You literally have to shout to have a conversation, and by the end of the meal, you even notice your voice getting hoarse — quite an experience. The food is overpriced for what it is and tastes pretty average. The place itself is beautiful, with elegant decor, but honestly, the food doesn’t live up to the atmosphere. On the bright side, the staff at the entrance and our server were very attentive and professional. Big thanks to the service team!

“CRAWFORDS SOCIAL” Restaurant feels like the designers brought the best of freewheeling, sunny, mid-century Miami Beach, Palm Springs and the Riviera to Westlake. We were there for a special event and the gorgeous, original Avocado-inspired dishes, billed as “light hors d’oeuvres,” together made up the most satisfying meal. Sublime fresh take on food with bold, perfectly prepared and seasoned ingredients!

My wife and I wanted to go somewhere nice for our 38th anniversary and chose Crawford's Social since we had heard nothing but good reviews. The word was right! The ambience was wonderful. The food was tasty, well cooked and well seasoned. Haley, our server, made the night special with her knowledge of the menu and great attitude. We felt very welcomed by Haley and her smile. We will definitely be going back!

I met a friend here for lunch. Since it is a popular dinner place, I made reservations for lunch. When I arrived, the inside seating was not crowded at 1:30 pm. My friend arrived, and we sat inside, but near the sliding doors that were open to the patio area. We ordered water and an Arnold Palmer. We also ordered their filet sliders and the crawford burger with no bun and coleslaw. We also ordered their tomato soup before the entrees were served. Everything tasted fantastic, and we had a nice leisurely lunch to visit and catch up. Highly recommend this place. It is best to have reservations if dining in the evenings for dinner or cocktails. Open table is on their website to place your reservation with.

Nestled in the vibrant Westlake Village, JOi Café is a delightful haven for health enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This charming café boasts an entirely gluten-free menu that celebrates organic, plant-based cuisine. With its bright and modern ambiance, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a meal or grab a refreshing smoothie. The diverse offerings cater to all palates—whether you're craving a delicious smoothie bowl or one of their signature house-made burgers like the Americana, there's something for everyone.
Best vegan food in the valley, all the staff are extremely welcoming, and the place is clean and beautiful. We had the bagel sandwich with beyond, and the scramble which were both amazing. The whoopie pie was recommended, with good reason- top tier dessert. Also grabbed a "Space Bar" candy, and it was very very sweet so keep that in mind when you get one. I actually wanted really sweet so it was perfect for me. Also coffee- can't forget this. Stopped by a lot of coffee shops and this place actually knows how to pull good shots and steam milk. Very consistent and smooth lattes. 10/10.

This plant-based café is an absolutely marvelous place to get yourself a vegan meal. It’s often hard for vegans to find robust breakfast options, but they’ve got you covered here. From pancakes, to French toast, to huevos rancheros. I was very happy to see the large spread and selection. I had the vegan egg scramble and they did not skimp on the portion size. There’s also a wonderful selection of coffees and juices, as well as pastries. The staff was very kind and helpful and there’s plenty of seating available. You really can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a vegan breakfast and stop by JOi Café!

My first thought was love at first sight, first smell, and first bite! I got takeout and its my first time trying this place, and someone would've had to hold me back if I was dining in because I was imPRESSED!! The spices, big flavor, texture, everything was just on point. I got the Joi scramble and side of black bean sausage, literally chefs kiss. I eat meat occasionally but the black bean sausage was just soooo good. The tortilla had hints of floral/herb flavor which tells me it must be made from scratch with Hella love. I just wanted a bite in the car and ended up eating it the entire ride home in my lap 😅 Had to write this review as soon as my car stopped -- I honestly just picked up less than an hour ago. This place is a great gem to stumble upon, WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!

I absolutely love this place! I make it a point to visit every time I am in the area. Everything I’ve ever ordered from there is mine blowing delicious. My favorites are the avocado toast with just egg, the avocado toast with mozzarella (why did I never think of that?!), and all their smoothies are really good too. Highly recommend!

Holy hidden gem! I’m not from this area, and wasn’t expecting to find a place like this. Let alone expect that it would be this good! The photos is what got me! So i decided to try it!!! Man am I glad I came! Try the spicy wonton, fried green beans, soup dumplings of course! They are very similar to a place most know and love, DTF ;) if you know what I mean. But tastes amazing!!! They got the black vinegar on table with ginger so it’s ready for dipping!

Wow. What a great experience from start to finish. Had lunch during the soft opening and was not disappointed. Sesame Inn, located in WENDY-KIMBER PLAZA Newbury Park, offers a comfortable and simply decorated setting for enjoying classic Chinese cuisine, including family-style dinners. Visitors have praised the generous portions and authentic flavors of dishes like beef noodle soup. The restaurant is known for its good prices and large portions, making it a great option for feeding families or large groups.
After tasting the best beef noodle soup in Shanghai, I was on a mission to find a local Chinese restaurant that made authentic beef noodle soup. I ordered this dish from several restaurants in Thousand Oaks and Westlake, and was disappointed. Until I tried Sesame Inn. Not only did they provide very generous portions, but their beef noodle soup was the best in the Conejo Valley! What would make it better is if they added some sliced carrots. Ever since COVID, Sesame Inn became a strictly take out establishment - no dining in. This is a better model for them, since the restaurant is small and they've always had a strong take out business.

Use to come here 10+ years ago and loved it. So disappointed got Kung Pao chicken I ate a few bites. All dark meat with a lot of fat, tons of celery and scattered peanuts that was it. No union or bell pepper which is what I’ve always had in this dish. To top it off it lacked any flavor and was not spicy at all. Threw in the trash. To go only. Had I dined in I would have refused food.
Golden G — Google review
I want to echo what the previous reviewer mentioned. I ordered kungpao chicken and it had only celery, no peanuts, red pepper, onion etc and the chicken tasted real bad. Also ordered shrimp dish, it was very slimy. Honestly, the quality here keeps going down.
Vidya P — Google review
I’ve been coming to this place for many years. I think they did change ownership at some point but the food is still very good. Pictured is the house chicken, dumpling soup and sweet and sour shrimp. The orange chicken and Mongolian beef is also one of our favorites! They are a little pricey compared to other places but we always have leftovers and the portions are good sizes. We will be back for takeout soon!

Newbury Park's best kept secret! Best Chinese food ever, in a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Secret authentic Chinese menu! Update: The restaurant is open for takeout.
Nancy B — Google review
I have not been here for almost a year. That said, the atmosphere remains very, very plain and empty. The order taker/cashier is pleasant, but if there is any charisma or positive vibe, they do a great job of hiding it. I ordered the Shrimp fried rice, a staple in my Asian food! The rice was either half cooked or half mixed with brown rice, as it was harder to chew on and the taste was not very good. It is like eating the bark on a tree (Termites must love this dish!) I also tried the Pepper Chicken. First off the chicken tasted really mediocre and it was not chicken - but Ground chicken. Really a bad taste and bad choice for Chinese food...so sad to say.
PAUL L — Google review
Good food, good prices, sufficient quantities. General Tsao's chicken was really tasty and not overly thick with breading, the kung pao chicken was good with roasted dry chilies (but would rather not have the non-traditional celery), and the mapo tofu was ok with lots of ground pork but not enough spiciness and missing hua jiao pepper. Overall good value but not strictly authentic.

Pretty much everything I’ve gotten here is fabulous. The spicy tuna on crispy rice is fantastic, but the guacamole on crispy rice is even better. King Hoang roll was my favorite roll followed by the fire goddess. This is my new favorite sushi place in the TO/Westlake Village area.

I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Seriously the best fish in town. No other place in our Conejo community even compares. Not too mention great ambiance, great service, and a wonderful hands on owner, Binh, who genuinely cares about your full satisfied experience. But we are all here for the sushi and again nothing else comes close to comparing in terms of quality. They are switching up what fish is in based on what's in season. If you want the full experience, try the omakase. Best in town! Thankful for this gem.

Happy hour: Nigiri, spicy tuna over forbidden rice (sorry took a bite before pic) and pork ribs. Main roll was the Brussels roll 😋

As soon as you walk through the doors, you can see, hear, and smell the love that goes into this restaurant. It is clear the restaurant is a labor of love. The dishes have stories behind them that enhance the entire dining experience. The servers put in just as much care to bringing your food to the table as the chefs do when putting the food on your plate. The drinks we were recommended by our server and paired perfectly with the meal. I have had a lot of good (and bad) sushi throughout my years on this planet and I can honestly say that I have never tasted better sushi anywhere else. I highly recommend Q Sushi. It’s been a few weeks and my wife and I can’t stop thinking about our meal and the next time we go. We have since raced to our friends and family and those who listened, tried Q Sushi for themselves and were just as delighted with their dining experience as well. 11 out of 10 (because 11 is one higher than 10).

Love this place for when I really want to treat my family to something special. I had Spanish mackerel sushi which was was smooth and buttery. The waitress suggested the banh-something roll and I was quite pleased with the flavor... the spicy little kick at the end was good and not too spicy. The only hiccup was that the waitress forgot to put my mom's order in, so unfortunately it came much later, but I'm still eating it a 5 stars because the manager took care of it right away and the waitress did a great job otherwise, from answering all our questions, seeming very knowledgeable, and asking if we were there for a special occasion; it was my son's birthday and the free mochi dessert was a lovely touch 😀

I also got a single white chocolate truffle & that was really good too. I’d definitely come back and try their coffee in the future.

Was really good Gelato, however I ordered the medium and the server leveled it off to be even with the top of the cup, you get very very little for the money as you can see in the picture, the Gelato doesn't even go above the cup I'm holding... Our cup didnt look like the other pictures with the gelato above the rim of the cup. One time stop for us..

4.5 STAR. Overall. There are about 4 or 5 ice cream flavors with no artificial colors or flavors added, so we tried vegan chocolate and vanilla bean flavors this time. Flavorful, rich, sweet, yet not sickening. A little heavy for Asian taste, but I can see how a regular customer would enjoy it. More selection of all natural ice cream and gelato would make it a perfect score for me. Priced by cup size $4.95 Small, $5.95 Medium, $6.95 large. Can choose more than one flavor for one cup size. I got a Medium to share with my 3 year old and it was more than we can finish. A small size would of been just right. Line started forming quite long after i checked out, but moved along efficiently. Apparently a popular place. Dominos and chess games on the tables for patrons, very comfortable and welcoming. A cool place to chill and hang out. Wouldn’t mind stopping by again if in the area.

I typically don’t visit the same restaurant more than once—I like to savor a good experience and leave it at that. But Sunrose delivered day after day. I went three days in a row while on a work trip, and each visit was just as enjoyable as the last. The service was exceptional, and the management was kind enough to let me stay for several hours while I worked. I tried a few different things over the course of my visits—the breakfast burrito, smoked salmon flatbread, and a few lattes—and everything was consistently flavourful and well-prepared. Can’t recommend it enough.

We found this great place hidden amongst Thousand Oaks. This place you could smell how amazing it was on the outside. We sat down and met the owner who walked us thru all the types of dishes and even taught us a few phrases and translations. He also recommend we try the purple corn drink, which was delicious. For meals we ordered the lamb and the beef, and they both came with rice and sauce. Both dishes were mouth wateringly delicious and freshly cooked. The service was great, they checked on us periodically. The prices were also great, ever affordable for the amount of food. Check this place out if you ever wanted to try some Peruvian food! It’s worth it!

This was my third time visiting this restaurant, but the first time I brought my boyfriend—and he loved it! Gabriel was super friendly and took the time to explain several dishes and offer great suggestions, like adding a side and a drink for just $3, which I thought was an amazing deal. I had the Lomo Saltado, and the portion was generous and satisfying. My boyfriend had the Limeña Sandwich with yucca and a soda, and he was really impressed. The sandwich was huge and packed with flavor! I definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic Peruvian food.

We have been several times now and each time is fantastic. The owner is great. He goes over all the specials with you and makes great recommendations based off your likes and dislikes. He has never steered us wrong and I've never had the same thing twice. I go in wanting to, but then I see something else I want to try and end up having that. You really can't go wrong supporting this small, locally owned, very authentic Peruvian restaurant.

Michelle G — Google review
I’ve given this place multiple chances (three visits) and each time the food was really disappointing. This last time was the worst — I ordered the $30 ceviche and it was completely bland, so I finally spoke up. Instead of listening, the owner argued with me and was extremely rude. To make things worse, the owner is also dishonest. He even tried to convince me that Inka Cola was made in Peru with “real ingredients and real sugar” — but I read the label right in front of him, and it clearly wasn’t true. Overall, very poor food, terrible customer service, and an owner who lies to customers. Definitely not worth the money or the experience.

You can tell all the ingredients in each roll were fresh. Although the sushi rolls were great, the best thing I ate was the green tea banana pudding dessert. It was absolutely phenomenal. It was light and airy, but still very rich and flavorful. Best banana dessert I’ve ever eaten.

Everything was so fresh and delicious! Really enjoyed our lunch here and everyone was very friendly. In the photo, we got the tuna three way and the salmon three way. Tried the new King Salmon and Barracuda and it was super good. Definitely coming back!

Best sushi you’ll find in the area. I drive all the way from Ventura to get this sushi. The best toro you’ll ever taste - it’s like butter! Everything here is fresh and excellent. I’ve paid a lot more money for way less quality sushi. This place is priced extremely fair for the quality of the fish and preparation. Pro tip: ask for the fresh wasabi. Enjoy!

Service: We were with a large group They did a really good job serving everyone. So attentive and courteous. Food: The sushi is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The Toro Nigiri is always one of my favorites. The sashimi of salmon was melt in your mouth tender and buttery smooth. All the fish is so fresh and delicious. Some of the guests do not eat raw. Their food was delicious and beautiful as well. The miso soup has loads of tofu and greens in it. Hot & comforting. The wine & saki flowed and we finished the meal with hot tea & a tasty banana dessert. Atmosphere: I hope they expand at some point because it was a tight squeeze. But they accommodated our group of about 28 people outside. The space was clean and inviting.

First time at this place and we’re surprised with the quality of the food. Very tasty and fresh. A variety of premium and regular sushi rolls, hand rolls, excellent service, overall great experience. Dog friendly if you seat outdoors. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

Where do I even begin?! This place is incredible! I have been to MANY sushi places all across the world (even in Japan) and I can confidently say this is one of the very best. The food is top-notch! Pretty much the best flavors you could ever get in sushi rolls! We ordered many different things this most recent visit to E⁺ MON - the Crispy Octopus Balls, Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, Miso Soup, Teriyaki Chicken, Seared Salmon Breeze Roll, Hot ‘N Spicy Shrimp Popcorn Roll, Westlake Spicy Roll, and finally the Green Tea Banana Pudding for dessert! The octopus balls were REALLY good - I love takoyaki and usually always try them whenever I see them on a menu, and these were the best I’ve ever had, even better than those I’ve had in Japan. The Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna was perfectly crispy, and the tuna was super fresh and flavorful. Miso soup tasted exactly like it should (just really good miso soup…absolutely no complaints), Teriyaki Chicken was juicy, flavorful and not “cheap” or “artificial”-tasting like many other teriyaki chickens I’ve had. The three rolls we had were the stars of the show! Absolutely phenomenal - so many ingredients that all went together so nicely! I can’t wait to try them again! Lastly, who would’ve thought a dessert at a sushi restaurant ends up being one of my favorite ever?! Their Green Tea Banana Pudding was incredible! Best banana pudding I’ve ever had! If you have any room after your dinner, GET THIS! You won’t be disappointed! E⁺ MON is one of the best Japanese restaurants you will probably ever go to!

Absolutely incredible quality sushi, and unbelievably fast service! The manager Nico makes me feel very special every time I come here! It’s a small restaurant but don’t let that fool you! You won’t regret coming here!

Came here for our early valentines dinner and had to write a review as soon as I got back to the car. This place is PHENOMENAL. The sushi is of such high quality and the service is top tier. Thanks to it being super bowl sunday the restaurant was quieter and we were able to chat with some of the sushi chefs. Ken, Yohan and Made, made our night 10x better. Such good conversations and excellent service. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We will be back!

Karma Baker is a delightful vegan and gluten-free bakery nestled in the charming Westlake Village. With a mission centered around "enlightened baking," they emphasize treating everyone with kindness and respect, creating an inviting atmosphere for all. Many visitors rave about their scrumptious offerings, including wedding cakes that leave guests raving and craving more. One couple shared how their lemon cake with strawberry frosting was an absolute hit at their celebration, turning many attendees into new fans of Karma Baker.
If you are one of those ppl that think a donut, 🍩 or any 🍪🎂 dessert, can be eloquently executed in any form including gluten-free and vegan, but may not have found the right place or home recipe... Then look no further! I have been craving a perfectly crafted GF donut for what seems like 100 years (ok maybe it's been 5 months) ... And VOILA! There it was! A little out of the way but so very very very very worth it! This being the one day that I only had the change in my pocket, the girl at the counter was so very sweet and patient to help me figure out exactly what I could buy with what little money I had on me. I signed up for their frequent buyer program and yes'em I had enough money to get me one of them chocolatey donuts of GLORY. So very Happy 🥰 I will be back again for my birthday cake 🎂, that may or may not be coming up soon ... Tiramisu cake you have your days numbered 😏

Oh my gosh I cannot say enough great things about Karma Baker and their amazing team! My husband and I are both vegan and I am celiac so I have to be gluten free, and of course Karma does all of that and still makes an absolutely delicious cake! They made our wedding cake (lemon cake, strawberry frosting and Bavarian cream filling) it was an instant hit! We know that many of our guests will now be new customers of karma baker and I will definitely be a life long customer! Thank you for making our big day amazing!

I have been here twice already. Loved the fruit tarts, we r not vegan, the coffee cake the bomb, I'm yet to try everything else lol. The first time I went the lady at the front was not very helpful, she couldn't give me details about the cakes. The second time I was there, one of the bakers was very helpful I really loved her, and of course as I mentioned before the fruit tarts were a hit.

I ordered 6 cupcake jars in 5 different flavors, chocolate karma, carrot, red velvet, vanilla, and peanut butter and chocolate. They were very tasty. The down sides, they are a tad bit sugary and prices are not the most affordable. It was 48$ meaning 8$ per jar. Then, I paid 20$ in shipping. The last thing is that although they're supposed to be stored in the fridge, the the frosting tastes better at room temp because straight out the fridge it is very stiff. It is best to leave them out in room temperature before eating them.

Finally got around to checking this place out! Glad I did, as I har been following them for a while on Instagram. I bought a bunch of different choices: fauxstess chocolate cupcake, some oatmeal cookies, a pair of chocolate sandwich cookies, etc. Just had the faux dingdong, and YUM!!! Everyone was cool, wearing maaks, and patiently waiting outside, which was reassuring. Props to the sales staff (cool purple hair), who was knowledgeable about their products and a real sweetheart. Looking forward to stock up in the near future!

If you want vegan desserts, add this to your go-to places! It's delicious! I went with my husband and three kids and we enjoyed our donuts on the shaded tables out front. It was very peaceful and the food was so tasty! We also ordered a oatmeal chai cookie that was SO good. And we took home the strawberry cheesecake. I'll definitely return for more tasty sweets for the whole family!

Fantastic bakery! All vegan and gluten-free and SO many options! Staff was super friendly and helpful over the phone and in-person. We've had their cookie sandwiches, brownies, cake pops, cupcakes, donuts, and everything has been delicious and fresh. We got the snickerzz cake for my birthday and it was ridiculously decadent. I'm definitely getting my birthday cakes from here every year from now on. Highly recommended!
Alyssa M — Google review
This is quite possibly the absolute best vegan bakery I've ever found. The cakes are moist with a delicate crumb and amazingly rich thick frosting, all with an explosion of flavor. My freezer is stocked with Celine's creations and I can't wait to share them with guests for our events! It's such a shame they closed. They will be missed.

Discover the delightful world of JOiBIRDS, a fresh concept from the creators of JOi Cafe in Thousand Oaks. This charming eatery goes beyond just an upscale coffee and wine experience; it offers a diverse menu filled with organic, plant-based delights. From scrumptious waffles and muffins to savory quesadillas and sandwiches, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere at JOiBIRDS is inviting and friendly, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or socializing.
Fun location. Delicious food. Friendly vibe. We ordered the GVO, bagel sandwich, and avocado toast. We didn't realize they served alcohol until we arrived and that was a bonus. We tried the mimosa too. Everything was yummy! We love Joi Cafe in Westlake and this location in T.O. doesn't disappoint. Inside, there are two large tables for bigger groups and one small table. There is also bar seating, which we sat at. There is plenty of seating outside (with heat lamps) by a peaceful fountain. The area was clean and bright and provided a fun atmosphere to have lunch in. The staff was attentive and kind. We didn't realize until we sat down, you can order from your seat with a QR code rather than wait in line, which is really cool. We will definitely be back!

We always like joi cafe then we saw joi birds we thought we need to check out. Drinks and food are good. Menu are selected choice compare to the other original cafe. Limited seating inside Plenty of seating outside but no shade. Parking is side and behind buildings and street parking. Very cute place.

I didn't realize that this newish restaurant by my office was affiliated with Joie in Westlake Village. Went in while waiting for a tire rotation and ordered the Avocado Toast with 'egg'. OMG SOOOOOO GOOD! And look at that 'egg'! It has a runny yolk. It was absolutely delicious. It was also one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in. Spotless. The products available for sale like maple syrup, organic wines and more were appreciated. I will be back. Many times.

Why is everything here SO incredible?! The lattes, matcha and breakfast sandwich are addictive. Do yourself a favor and add the lavender or rose to your beverage. The gf donuts are fantastic. The best start to any morning, love the atmosphere and looking forward to their longer hours and menu! ♥️ Did I mention organic wines and kombucha on tap? Joibirds is becoming our new TO hangout 🙏

Absolutely love your new space on TO Blvd! It is so cute and welcoming! I’ve been in every day this week picking up lunch for our team. I am addicted to your smoothies and one of our team members is obsessed with the Blue Butterfly. My husband loves your Fun Tuna! Thank you for opening in TO! Keep doing what you’re doing! xoxo

Very good espresso made by a professional barista that tells you about the coffee. They have a beautiful Modbar espresso machine setup. Many was very friendly and inviting. Just off the 101 with plenty of parking.

JOiBIRDS Cafe is a charming spot with a welcoming atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. We enjoyed a medium iced latte, a small latte, and a croissant, all of which were delicious. The cozy setting made it a perfect place to unwind. However, we were a bit surprised by the cost- $26 including 15% tip seemed a bit steep for two coffees and a croissant. Despite the higher price, the overall experience was positive, and it's a delightful place to enjoy a quality coffee.
