Shelly was our server (the kindest woman) for the best birthday dinner I’ve ever had. Shadowbrook is so unique and sometimes with a restaurant with that type of appeal, you worry if the food is going to be good or not. Let me tell you, the food was phenomenal. They make everything in-house. We had the clam chowder- so good. Bacon wrapped prawns were so fresh, I wish they came in a 20 piece option haha. The blackened prime rib and all of the sides were so tasty and cooked to perfection. Their dessert selection is awesome too. It was my first time here as a surprise birthday dinner, but I told my boyfriend I just want to keep coming back here every year for my birthday. If you care about cute, instagrammable fancy drinks— this is not the place. They make classic cocktails in just classic glasses but the drinks are solid. A restaurant that lives up to its reputation by giving us just the first impression. It was our first visit with my husband and family from New York who requested to dine here after watched from YouTube. This restaurant is a landmark in Capitola, very popular for romantic dinner and special occasions. I was not expecting anything in the first place, but then the ambiance, the interiors and exteriors of the building, the scenery, the service as we stepped in to the end of the dinner, the quality of the food, and the reasonable prices truly surprisingly affordable, everything was amazing. Everyone loved the food, we even talked about it afterwards. I want to highlight my main course: Honey glazed bone-in pork chop with sweet potato puree, roasted brussels, it was tender and flavorful, with the right amount of sweet and savory, a must have meat entrée. My dessert was Jack Daniel's Mud Pie, Marianne's coffee crunch ice cream with whisky chocolate sauce, to me, it was a perfect ending of a dinner. Next time when we are going to Capitola, Santa Cruz or Monterey, I definitely would book ahead to let ourselves dine in this remarkable restaurant again.

James provided exceptional service to us at Shadowbrook! We stared with cocktails and the calamari. For dinner I had the shrimp scampi and my spouse enjoyed the filet with vegetables. We had some wine with dinner and finished up the night with the chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream. The vibe to the restaurant was amazing and I recommend taking the gondola down to the restaurant. My one suggestion would be for the restaurant to have a wider wine by the glass selection. Be prepared to spend $50+ a person, and to have an incredible evening! Will definitely be back again.

A lovely restaurant, just a 10 min walk from downtown (it is uphill). We had Roasted Brussels sprouts, salmon, and Shrimp Mac and Cheese. It was all very tasty, and quite filling. Service is exemplary. There is a dress code, however business casual is perfectly fine. We ate on the outside deck which didn't require a reservation. The grounds are forest like, overlooking the river, and just beautiful. A real treat. A small Funicular takes you from street level to the restaurant.

My husband and I spent our one year wedding anniversary at this restaurant, and it was such a beautiful experience. Taking the tram down to the restaurant was such a unique touch. Every member of the staff was kind and welcoming, and our server Eli went above and beyond to make us feel special. The food was absolutely amazing. My salmon was cooked perfectly. I ordered the Pacific Rim Salmon, and the flavor combination was perfect. My husband is vegan, and his diet was easily accommodated. He absolutely loved his meal. He got the vegetable medley. We will definitely be back and will be requesting Eli as our server again.

What a special place! Billed as one of the Moses romantic restaurants, from the unique hillavator to fantastic food, the restaurant did not disappoint! I had the special beef stroganoff with an add on lobster tail and it was perfect! The scallops with mashed potatoes was also delicious. They even gave us a picture to commemorate our special occasion. The only thing I can complain about is there’s no Shadowbrook in Orlando where I live!

This is an awesome place to stop and eat. Our server Jacob made the experience even better with his positive attitude and willingness to guide us through the menu. The beer is good and the food tasty. The trip from the parking lot to the restaurant you can't miss. If in the area you gotta stop in and have a bite to eat and a cold adult beverage.

This is a larger bakery with lots of options to choose from. As a matter of fact it's more than a bakery, it's an experience. We stopped in after reading all the great reviews. A local favorite is their Brookie, a brownie / chocolate chip cookie. However, we loved the strawberry shortcake cookie (which is a lot like a scone). They are truly wonderful. It can get a little crazy, so keep that in mind if you're in a rush. They have tried to figure out a way to help everyone with their number system, but the success depends on us the customers. Have patience and enjoy the experience.

Absolutely delighted with every visit to Gayle’s Bakery & Rosticceria! From the moment you step inside, the aroma of fresh-baked bread and roasted meats sets the mood for a fantastic meal. Their breads are crusty and flavorful, pastries buttery perfection, and the rotisserie chicken juicy and perfectly seasoned. The staff are always friendly and efficient, even when the place is bustling. Speaking of busy—Gayle’s is an amazing spot for Sunday brunch, though be prepared for a crowd; it’s clearly a local favorite for good reason! Even with the wait, everything is fresh and the experience is worth it. Five stars—deservedly so!

The best bakery in the Santa Cruz area! It’s been a family favorite and tradition since I was a baby, and have been continuing to go as an adult when visiting friends and family. Food options and quality, service, and quaint ambience/atmosphere is outstanding. Wide variety of fresh, real, and organic options! They have a covered patio area with additional seating as well. Favorite bakery items- kouign-amann, fruit tarts, and the swedish princess cake. The latter was made for one of my birthdays, but I used to order them more frequently than I probably should’ve haha! They are the best!

Big yum. Becomes less crowded around 11am. Only 10 minute wait on a wednesday and all products were still available with new ones coming fresh out the kitchen. Impressively affordable for high quality food and service. 10/10 will eat again 🤤

Gayle’s bakery is the perfect little place to stop by after enjoying the Santa Cruz boardwalk. The parking lot is a little cramped for the size of the place, which is huge inside. When you enter, make sure to get a ticket near the entrance. Keep an eye out for your number to be called, since the place can get overwhelming. The cases have lots of repeated goodies so you can find a place along the cases and keep looking from there. I really enjoyed the Java Freeze from the coffee bar. I also liked the ham croissant, the marionberry turnover was pretty solid, and the ham and cheese croissant was also good. There is plenty of seating and also a hot food section, which I didnt try this time. I will be back another time for sure!

We got pastries. Ecclairs with custard, which are delicious, and a croissant, which was tasty. We haven't tried the Napoleon and the Croissant with chocolate yet. Even though the place was innondated with people, service was extremely fast. We only got the pastries to go. There is room to have lunch and have your dessert if you choose to. Parking is available in the back. Restroom is also available.

Heard great things about this place and it didn't disappoint. We ordered a little bit of everything just to give it a try. All the baked goods are definitely where they shine, but the food there is great too! The service is quick considering how busy it is and the staff are friendly. we'll definitely come back when visiting Capitola.

The location is awesome, right on the beach. Enjoyed lunch with my wife and cousins. The food was good as was the service. Parking is the worst part!!! Good luck!!! 😁

I’ve been to Margaritaville many times, but not recently and I was very excited to learn of their mocktail menu. I quit drinking over five years ago and it’s always been hard to find options, because even though you’re not drinking, you still want to have a fancy drink. I had a wonderful Non-alcoholic margarita with Ritual NA Tequila. It was so delicious! Thank you for providing that to your customers.

Margaritaville exceeded all of our expectations. First of all - Donyl was amazing, she was so attentive and anticipated our every need. Our food was delicious, we ordered the quesadillas and the skirt steak tacos. I wish I took a pic, but they were so tasty that we devoured them immediately. Not the mention the waterside views.... We will absolutely be back, thank you Donyl for the fantastic service and the Margaritaville team for a wonderful dinner experience!

We recently visited MargaritaVille in Capitola, Ca, right by the colorful houses. I must say it was an awesome experience it is pricey but it’s worth it. They have a variety of foods and drinks. I personally ordered the shrimp tacos and I loved them they we’re very tasty. My family was very happy with what they ordered also. The customer service was great, everyone there is very friendly and there always on top of what you might need. I highly recommended 100%. There is a wait time depending on how busy it is but max 20 minutes wait time at least for us it was being that we we’re there on a Saturday.

Very nice dinning area and dog friendly. My group and I got outdoor seating since we had our dog with us. So glad they had heaters since it was a little windy out. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. The view was amazing and to top it off food was delicious. Will be coming back here again soon.

We decided to do one of the Santa Cruz meal deals. The meal was good service was better. Meat was lovely after I added salt and pepper, potato's were good after I added seasoning. The broccoli has no flavor did not eat. Oysters were big, chocolate moose was good. Salmon was cooked well, rice was bland as was the greens. Timusu was good. All in all it was a nice meal Not sure they were worth $45 each.

The oysters were great. We got the smallest, cramped table outside with people constantly bumping into us from behind. The waiter refused to take our order for dinner until after we finished our appetizer. The waiter was ridiculously slow bringing out our first drinks so I had to ask someone else to get them. The dinner I had was terrible. It was scallops. The sauce was sweet and the scallops were over salted and tough. This place was well below my expectations. I wanted to leave the terrible food after one bite but my partner wanted to take it to go. Yuck! Never going back here.

Delicious food, friendly and attentive service, and great views on the patio. The crab cakes were so good, lots of crab not a lot of breading, fresh and delicious oysters and the clam chowder in a bread bowl was amazing!!

We shared the crab cakes, and potato crusted Halibut. Both were delicious! We tried the Jalapeño Margarita which hosts a whole jalapeño in the glass, and a salted rim. Also tried the Monterey Mule and the Citrus Ace, each offering a unique flavor and liquor. The service was excellent- Our waitress checked in frequently despite being busy. The ambiance was beautiful- evening dining on the patio with heaters and the bay view. It’s our second time here, and we will visit again!

While visiting my sister in law in California she invited us to her aunt Rosie's house and she treated us to this wonderful restaurant right on the beach in Capitola. The drinks were delicious the staff was so friendly and attentive. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious. We plan on going back to Capitola this summer and can't wait to come back here and enjoy another meal.

The view was better than the food here. Would come back for drinks and a snack, but not a full meal. The butternut squash ravioli with the Brussel sprouts was not a cohesive dish, it barely had a sauce and the veggies seemed randomly added without a point of view. Similar for the fish with coconut rice. Everything in the meal leaned a bit sweet. The crab croquettes were the best thing we had here!

Got a couple slices of pizza : both burnt , 1 was a Hawaiian type slice , the other was a supreme type option . The supreme type had barely any topping on it . Grew up in Santa Cruz so this isn’t my first time eating this pizza . Staff were stand offish in regards to the barely visible topping see pic for reference. Blamed the cooks instead of just apologizing for a $6 dollar slice of pizza with barely any toppings on it. Idk where the manger was but clearly training need to done to have appropriate customer service . To communicate with the other staff. Super dry pizza had the most minimal of sauces . Definitely don’t recommend this location. Go to the original locations in downtown Santa Cruz or at Capitola Village.

Pizza My Heart is one of those spots you just have to visit when you’re in the area—it’s an absolute must. For me, it’s like Southern comfort food, but in pizza form. The pizza is always flavorful, the crust is perfect, and the sauce is amazing. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and even the salads are top-notch. One of the coolest things is the “slice and a T-shirt” combo—grab a fresh slice and some fresh merch for just nine bucks. It’s the perfect way to rep the brand and enjoy great food at the same time. I stop by every time I’m in town, and it never disappoints. Five-star pizza all the way. Highly recommend!

The family thoroughly enjoyed their meal, finding it to be quite good and favorable. The boneless wings were seasoned, at least to my taste, though not necessarily a must-have. However, the pizza, with its crunchy crust and the combination of pepperoni, bacon, and thick sausage, was truly delicious. The sauce was also excellent, making it a great overall pizza joint. I wonder, do people still use that phrase?

We love your plant-based pizza so much! They have all the same flavors and textures that we grew up loving, but you don’t involve animals to provide it, which is so important to us. It’s also important to more and more people we know, so we’re grateful we can send them your way. They’re always so happy with your plant-based pizzas too and grateful you don’t skimp on the toppings like so many pizzerias do more and more these days! And Wow, your staff is the best—friendly, present and they all seem to sincerely enjoy each other and their job at Pizza My Heart, which is a wonderful vibe to feel when we’re greeted with such warmth, cheerfulness and positivity. Pizza My Heart has been my favorite pizza place for well over 20 years, and they still are! I prefer thin crust pizza. If you like thicker crusts, this might not be the place for you. You would be missing out on the best toppings though! I'm looking forward to trying their new slice that has peaches on it. Any pizza with ricotta cheese is amazing imo.

I ordered a custom pizza and a salad. I had 2 salads when I came to pick it up. They easily made the adjustment and credited me the extra I was charged. The food was delicious, as always, fresh and warm. The servers were very nice and friendly and made my to go experience quick and painless.

Order online for i store pick-up! Was having a pretty wretched day that just so happened to also be my birthday. The employee that greeted me at the pick uo window was SO SO SO SWEET! they literally made my whole day! Not to get into any personal (messy lol) details but I actually cried in the car on the way home because the person was so awesome and sweet to me. Just really above and beyond from ordering online to picking up in person. LOL PIZZA was AMAZING, but pizza my heart usually is at this location so I figured their name speaks for themselves! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, even & especially if your having a rough day and need a pick-me-up.

Love the view at the back of the Bar. Waitress was very nice and check on us even the place was very busy. Food needs improvement, fish and chips had no taste (fish) the clam chowder soup was really good. Great atmosphere!

We had the Veggie Scramble for breakfast. Our table overlooked the beach/ocean/river/colorful houses. Both the food and view are fantastic! Reasonable prices for what you get. Service is very friendly and personable. We ate her twice during our visit :)

Monday night had a live band. Vibe is good. $5 cover charge. Sat outside on deck. Good calamari with fries. Basic bloody Mary. It wasn't strong. Had two, walked out feeling as if I didn't have any drinks. But it was still ok. Blackened fish on a tostada.

This is worth the Long Island tea! Their drinks at any hour is happy hour. Crab cakes sandwich is top of the line, onion rings are crunchy but chewy, and the seared tuna is nicely seared. A stroll around the wharf helps to digest and keep pleasant memories of this restaurant etched into the recess of your mind filed under, "Must come back again for the Long Island Tea!"

Excellent breakfast! There was nothing I would change! Really! Pancakes, sausage, eggs, bacon, toast all perfectly done. Cute place. Highly recommend.

Great calamari sandwich. A little too much cold slaw but I ate some with a fork then it was great. Refill in drinks a little slow. We are outside enjoying the ocean view. waitress was very nice and helpful. We’ll be back.

Awesome food at this Mexican food restaurant down in the Capitola Village! The menu speaks for itself and the charm of the staff is always welcoming. Parking can be a struggle, but that's normal for a beautiful setting with delicious food! Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, but I can't say that made up for my immediate disappointment upon seeing my vegan taco. It was the saddest looking taco I've ever eaten. Put more pizazz and effort into it! Add some salsa fresca and rice, and chunky guacamole - not this creamy weird stuff. I truly wish I could've asked for a refund. After tip, I paid $10.17 for it!! Never ever again.

I was their first customer of the day, arriving before they opened at 11:30. Greeted cheerfully by the person who would be my server I was told I could wait inside if I wanted to, so I snapped a few pictures with their permission. The chef was ready to serve before normal opening time and I was able to order quickly from the server, making a couple minor requests outside the standard items that were no problem for them to accommodate. The chips were crispy, sturdy, and, in my opinion, some of the best I've ever had. The salsa, though not my favorite style, was traditional and flavorful. I informed the server that I had a coupon from the "Santa Cruz You're Invited" coupon book, ordered the ground beef chimichanga and nachos con todo with a couple drinks, for myself and partner. The chimichanga was a sight to behold, and quite tasty, though I think next time I'll upcharge to shredded beef or asada. The nachos were the best I've had in a loooooong time, and cooked in an oven without a microwave at any stage. All the food was fresh and seasoned well. Healthy portions, reasonable prices, exceptional service, positive reputation in the community, and likely my new go to for Mexican food.

This tiny place had a super authentic feel, as well as keen pricing so you feel you are getting value. Overall, I think as long as you stick to the classics you will be fine; I had the ceviche, which was not great, but my partner has the chimichangas and loved them - so mixed overall!

A family restaurant with a long standing tradition (three generations) of serving made from scratch meals that are affordable. It also features home made sangria and has a good selection of draft beers.

Excellent tasty food, wonderful personalized service - felt like I was at a friend’s kitchen. They also have a dedicated vegan menu. Veggie friendly tamales. Their chicken and meat dishes were also really fresh and tasty. Definitely get the chimichangas and the guac

Great spot on the ocean with outdoor seating upstairs or downstairs overlooking paddleboarders and boats on the water. Two different restaurants, but great food options either place. Hot fresh food, fast service, friendly staff, ample parking for a small fee. I had the fish and clam chowder and he had the French dip. Both yummy! And the pink lemonade was bomb!

Fun place right on the water with spectacular views! The service was excellent, the shrimp tacos and French fries were both very good, but the French Dip/au jus was so salty it was almost inedible. They were a bit busy so didn’t trouble trying something else, but definitely wouldn’t come back to that. I notice the table next to us ordered it too and barely touched it.

Beautiful location for an outdoor lunch! The upper deck was filled with sunshine and incredible views. Our server was fun and very informative, helping us make a few amazing choices. The Ahi Tuna app was incredible!

First time here. Very nice place. Good food, good views, good service. Close to the harbor and beach. Our table had a great view of the lighthouse! Staff said upstairs was bar and grill area (better for adults). Indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms are a bit tight but clean. They give a free coupon for soft serve at the beach market next door to our kid with his kids menu. Parking was $2 for our time there. We would come again if we are passing by for another coastal road trip!

The location is excellent, right by the harbor—though be aware that parking is not free. We didn’t have a reservation but were fortunate to get a window seat. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered free dessert for birthday. However, the food was just average. The pork ribs we ordered were lukewarm, and the center piece was slightly cold, which was disappointing.

The food is good but pricy And they messed up our order a few times and the hostess with volume big lashes (I don’t know her name ) that checked us in was not nice at all, Sometimes I wonder why these girls are in hospitality positions. Anyways If you’re ready for a long wait to get a cold meal to be on the beach then I’d say go for it .

Atmosphere is very nice! We sat in a table right next to the window and had a great ocean view, especially beautiful during sunset. Great salad bar option to add to your meal or to have as your meal, I live a good salad bar. Calamari appetizer was really delicious and tender. I ordered the spinach ravioli with shrimp and artichoke hearts and mushrooms. It was really good. Server was very attentive and was super nice to my kids. We will definitely be back.

Our server Winston was THE best. He attended to our every need. The food was delicious. I had a bowl of the clam chowder and it was quite a bowl!! My husband had the white fish on a bed is spinach and coconut rice. So good!!

Sitting either inside or out on the deck overlooking the water and the pier, its worth every minute. Good service with plenty of smiles from the hostess to the servers to the busboys. Prices are worth every bite. Would definitely come back.

McKenzie provided exceptional service at dinner! We dined inside with a nice window view of the waterfront. My spouse ordered the burger with fries and I had the Caesar salad. We had a few gin and tonics with the meal which were so refreshing. The food came out quick after ordering and I would definitely recommend dining here.

Waiter misunderstood order. Not attentive, he never checked in on us. I ordered the surf and turf med/ well. My husband seafood platter. Be the judge by the looks of the pictures. We wound up paying $30 for 2 cups of clam chowder and 2 sodas that have no refills according to the waiter. This ruined my birthday dinner 🙃😕😕🙁☹️ manager offered a dessert, I wasn’t interested. Food is alright. The meats are pretty dry but the flavors of the dishes are great the meat being dry is what took a lot away from my experience. If that is something you are okay with i definitely think its worth the try. Just be aware of the prices the food here is not cheap.

Stumbled on this place while taking a brief rest from driving. Shared a Steak salad, garlic fries and nachos between 4 of us and we couldn't manage to finish it. The food was very good and obviously the portions were huge. Staff were pleasant and plentiful. Very good considering its location by the pier.

Less than "Ideal" Our bill came out to almost $90 for 2 people. We ordered 2 iced teas, the ceviche, a burger and the seafood melt. I expect a higher price point due to location. What I didn't expect was the mandatory 4% charge for service (I agree the staff needs to be properly compensated, I don't agree with the less than average service) and the additional upcharging on each of the meals we ordered. The food was just okay. The service was not great. Our server was MIA a lot as we waited for refills on our pricey flavored waters. It was not busy. We were one of 3 other tables being seen, and empty dishes just kinda hung out with us during our meal. The establishment is nice though, and the location is great. But wow.... we'll go elsewhere to feel like we've received our money's worth.

This is a great find. A seafood restraunt at the end of the pier. There's no better ambiance and a view than this. The food was good. The flavor of the clam chowder, I would grade as a C. It was missing more goodies and flavor than other clam chowders have. It had too much flour in the rue, but it was hot. The halibut tacos were fresh, but lacked flavor. The beer on tap was fantastic and the servers were friendly. I love the ocean and the view of the sail boats and sea life, which make it so much more enjoyable.

Hands down the best seafood I’ve had in a long time! The clam chowder soup is absolutely award-worthy—packed with clams and full of rich, savory flavor. You can tell they don’t skimp on quality. The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked perfectly, and tasted like it was caught that morning. Even the complimentary bread served before the meal was warm and delicious—a great start to the dining experience. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food more than justifies it. If you're a fan of clam chowder, this is *the* place to try it fresh. Highly recommend for over priced fresh seafood. FYI they charge you more if you pay with credit card which is unusual for a business.

The best part of this place is the view of the water. My 3 year old niece correctly identified the restaurant as shaped like a boat. We sat on the 2nd floor. There was an elevator for the stroller. There were 4 of us in the group. 3 adults and 1 child. I had sandwich and soup. The child had bread and fries. Another adult had crab cakes. Everyone enjoyed the food. Staff was friendly and patient. Very relaxing atmosphere. Casual.

I ordered a large crab cocktail. It wasn't what I expected. First of all it wasn't large, and the sauce tasted funny. It had a strong flavor on spices, it didn't complement the cocktail at all. The fish tacos and clam chowder where a lot better.

Excellent service. I showed up for some of their famous clam chowder but they were closed. The gentleman working the door saw me and took my order to go. The chowder was delicious and I highly recommend eating here.

I usually only post places I love, this is my first non 5 star review!! But it was just such a blah experience, I wanted to redeem myself with another dinner after going here. I came to the ordering window next to the restaurant. My mom and I came on a Tuesday evening around 5. No one in line, we ordered right away and went to sit down at the outside tables which were dirty. My mom asked for a napkin to clean them off and was given one tiny napkin (?!?!?) which did nothing. The couple next to use was feeding the pigeons and if it's one thing I despise, it's people feeding birds in a public space esp while eating. Birds flying everywhere was not the dinner vibe I was going for. Now on to the food, we split the cold crab sandwich(25$) and each had a cup of clam chowder (8$) and two fountain drinks (4$). The food was lackluster. I had clam chowder at Ideal then night before and thought that was much better. The sandwich was sloppily thrown together and fell apart while eating it. It was almost like the Panera of sea food spots. I feel like the food was just thrown together without time care or effort. No napkins came with the meal so we asked for more and got one each. Overall, this was an offputting experience and I have no desire to go back here. The crab sandwich at Oracle park is a million times better than this. If you're looking for dinner, I would not choose this spot on the wharf.

We had a great time here but food was really nothing special. We trusted the Google reviews and I totally respect other people’s opinions but my experience was different. My seabass was overcooked and pretty dry, vegetables had a defrosted feel to them and even the chips were straight out of a freezer bag. Not what we were expecting in such a beautiful location. I should also mention that the tables by the window are really tiny which makes it very hard for two average sized people to eat comfortably on the same side. On the positives the house chardonnay was lovely.

Overall, a good spot with plenty of vegetarian options. The atmosphere and ambience were excellent—right by the beach, which added to the experience. However, I felt the portion sizes were a bit small for the price, and the taste was just average.

Views and drinks were stellar, food was ok, service was good. I absolutely loved being steps away from the beach! We came on a weekday for a late lunch and were seated very quickly. My strawberry lemonade cocktail was perfect on this warm day and had the right amount of sweetness, tartness, and alcohol. I started off with a cup of chowder, which was pretty darn good and then shared some calamari and fries with my husband. The calamari definitely could have had a little more batter and been crispier but I did enjoy the fries. I would return for drinks and views!

100% recommendation! Went here on a Wednesday evening at 07.45 pm. It was neither crowded nor lonely. Got a great spot with amazing seaview. I ordered the Seared Blackened Ahi Salad and was totally amazed. Such a fresh and tasty dish! Among the best I’ve ever had. On top, I was served by the super friendly owner, who gave me some great recommendations. Thank you so much!

During our trip to Capitola, we stopped by Zelda’s on the Beach and timed our reservation for 6:30 PM so we could catch the sunset during dinner. The restaurant was not too packed, so a reservation was not even necessary. We had the option to sit inside or outside, and we were lucky enough to get a booth by an open window. It gave us the perfect sunset view while staying comfortable and away from the winds, even on a warm evening. We started with the coconut shrimp, which ended up being my absolute favorite dish of the night. For entrées, we had the cioppino, a tomato based seafood stew with garlic bread that was flavorful but a little light if you are really hungry, and the sautéed mahi mahi served over coconut white rice. The rice was delicious, though I was not the biggest fan of the sauté on the fish itself. For our daughter, we ordered a milkshake, and that was the winner of the night, so creamy and absolutely amazing. Overall, Zelda’s is worth visiting just for the location alone. Sitting by the beach with a view of the sunset makes it such a memorable stop. I have heard from others that brunch is even better than dinner, so next time we are in Capitola we will definitely be back to try their morning menu.

Visiting from Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Great food, great service and a great view! Plus, the t-shirts are amazing. Didn't catch our servers name but he was very attentive and he wore braces. Bravo!

Had the fish and chips with window seat, ocean view. Busy place with friendly staff. Fish are deep fried in a coated herb crust. Not traditional, but a nice change if your up to it.

We really enjoyed the restaurant. We went for breakfast. The coffee was really good, the food was fine. I was hoping for better. Maybe we should try lunch or dinner.

13 & 15 AUG25: Place was recommended by two friend’s who go to Santa Cruz every year and just chill. The restaurant is in a neighborhood setting and is always filled with locals and others happily being catered to by the friendly staff and great chefs. Shrimp and clams tender and well seasoned, house made pasta perfectly cooked, salads copious and delicious. Sharing starters will not disappoint. Cocktails are amazing. First time here. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was great. Very friendly and attentive. He made sure everything was good. We had the chicken parmesan and it was excellent. Very nice restaurant, clean and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed trying Lillian’s for the first time as we were visiting from out of town. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was full on a Thursday evening so we figured it must be a local favorite. We ordered the carbonara and the meatballs. The service was great, but the food was just ok. I wouldn’t mind stopping back in next time we’re in town and ordering something else off the menu.

What a find! Reservations needed even on a Tuesday night as the place was packed but they fit us in. Lots of big family groups but not crazy loud. Great cocktails, delicious Sicilian food and top wait staff adds up to a special night out.

Came here during a trip to Santa Cruz for my mom’s birthday. We wanted to go to a nice restaurant for dinner so I made a reservation for this beautiful place ahead of time. Our reservation went smooth, the restaurant wasn’t packed but had a decent amount of people, and the experience was very lovely. They have a nice sized menu, different salads and pastas, various wines, and tasty desserts. I had gotten the fiochetti and it was delicious. All of us enjoyed our food and felt satisfied at the end. Definitely recommend and if I’m in the area will be back!

Haven’t been here in over a decade! It was such a pleasant surprise to see that the hole in the wall Italian place expanded so much over the last few years. I remember the old location you had to walk through the kitchen to use the bathroom! The food hasn’t changed- it’s still the great quality Italian food in Santa Cruz. I got the strawberry blue cheese salad, fresh and citrusy- I love a good summer salad! We also got the ragu and shrimp seafood pasta. Both are so delicious and cooked perfectly. The shrimp was so soft, I’m glad they didn’t over cook it- the fresh tomatoes on top with lemon was a great addition to the meal. My ragu was great flavor, the meat was so tender! I’m so glad that the place expanded so now there’s more space to dine in. We were there and it seemed pretty busy! Looking forward to coming back.

Bar staff was really friendly. The cioppino was so rich and flavourful, I’d get it again! The house made pasta has an impressive texture. Garlic bread was nothing too special.

Vegan / Vegetarian cafe with a variety of great dishes. Food: Tried the Portobello Artichoke Sandwich, the serving was huge, seasoned perfect and went well with chips and salsa. The Breakfast Burrito was also massive and very tasty. Service: Order fast food style at the counter then wait for your food to be called out. Food comes out in about 20 minutes. Ambiance: Place is massive. Lots of seating inside but limited outside.

I've only ordered thru door dash but this is my favorite place in Santa Cruz for a quick and healthy meal. The steamed vegetables are like none other with veggies of every color and perfectly steamed. The spring rolls are huge, fresh and delicious.

Great veggie restaurant with loads of healthy food options. I added avocado and artichokes to my salad, and a tea and my order came close to being $40. You order at the register then sit and wait for your name to be called, and you pick it up at the counter. Amazing art on the wall, and super cool plants trailing the wall. The salad was enough for two portions; I took the rest to go (containers are placed out for you to grab). There is a station for you to place your tray and dishes. Great vibe, casual ambiance.

Dharma's was located in a nice area and the decor was nice. However, I wouldn't recommend going to this restaurant. The food was not good at all. We ordered Brahma Burger, which was dry, and the Indian curry, which was not Indian at all. The Indian curry had maple syrup, which wasn't even listed in the ingredients on the menu. When I talked to the restaurant about this concern, I was told that they put maple syrup in everything and this is how they have been cooking for years. They were very much unwilling to do anything about it. It was disheartening to get this kind of response. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was an absolute joke. I ordered two quesadillas for $27 to go and what I got was two flimsy taco shells with melted cheese inside and a pile of shredded lettuce. That’s not a quesadilla—that’s lazy, insulting, and straight-up robbery. You seriously charged full price for something I could’ve thrown together at home for $3.50 in five minutes. Complete waste of money and a total ripoff. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll make sure others know to avoid this place too.

i absolutely love this restaurant! They have such a wide variety of dishes, and what I really appreciate is how well informed the cashiers are they always know exactly what each dish contains. And if they’re unsure, they double check with a detailed ingredients list, which I find so thoughtful. There are so many vegan and no onion/no garlic options available, which is perfect for my dietary needs. The staff at the register are incredibly kind and sweet just the best service all around. Highly recommend!

My favourite restaurant in the US so far!! And that happens when the freshest ingredients meet world class recipes and are served beautifully in a great ambiance! The portion sizes are large, so make sure you have enough appetite to do justice to the portion size and it's amazing taste! I would eat here everyday if i lived here. Nice patio eating too. Even after stuffing yourself full, you won't feel uncomfortable or bloated. That speaks a lot about the quality of ingredients, spices and sauces. They really care about their customers! Primarily vegan food with some dairy options.

Loved the spaghetti with crab. Will dream about this, simple dish. Apple tart special left a lot to be desired. Bread was so good. Love this neighborhood gem. Used to go often with friends, but hadn’t been in a long while.

La Posta is a decent Italian spot with a relatively small menu. We especially enjoyed the tortellini and the pizza, both were flavorful and well-made. The desserts were just okay, nothing extraordinary. Still, we’re planning to come back and try more dishes from the menu.

Food was really pretty good! We ordered Seafood stew and it was amazing 💕 Highly recommend to ordered this one! Pizza was not so good like we are expected… but normal. They’re have a very good sangria and IPA beer. Branzino was good too actually…. It was little bit longer for waiting… but it’s ok…

Overall it was fine. There was one table already seated when we arrived early for our reservation, and the hostess attempted to seat us at the table right next to the entrance to the kitchen/bar. And when I asked to be seated at a different table further away from the kitchen, she directed us to the table immediately next to the first one. Mind you the entire restaurant was empty. The food was mediocre sadly at best. The shrimp appetizer was a joke for $19 - a few pieces of fried shrimp, a handful of fried artichoke hearts and some olives. The corzetti with fruiti di mare my friends ordered seemed tasty but still just fine. The gnocchi with ragu was maybe a little off balanced. There was a ton of ragu with the oily sauce at the base and the gnocchi was oddly shaped and kind of soft. There were a group of servers that were lingering in the side area of the bar/kitchen having loud conversation about tv shows and such - not great for customers to see or hear that you have workers that are just loitering around. Not a place that I would necessarily return to or recommend. There are better Italian places.

Food was pretty good, we had tagliolini and salsiccia pizza along with coconut gelato and semifreddo. Pasta dish had a lot of great flavors from herbs and capers, fresh noodles with tuna. The pizza was great and had great flavors, the other table had the pizza that was primarily vegetables if I recall, that looked wonderful as well, well probably order two pizzas and a main or pasta next time. Desserts were alright, semifreddo too sweet and the coconut gelato was overpowered by the chocolate in the gelato. Their Italian sodas were great also.

We decided to meet a friend in Santa Cruz and because of their dog we chose this restaurant that offers outdoor seating restaurant is Quaintance small but the backyard is pretty large parking can be somewhat of a challenge, but we manage to find the location quickly. The selection is entirely Italian wines so if you’re looking for the New World wines, you’re gonna have a hard time finding anything, they have a large selection of Italian wines depending on your budget you can spend over several hundred dollars or you can find one for around $50-$60. The menu changes regularly and this particular night I decided to have the squid pasta with seafood I was disappointed to say the least because the flavor and when I asked for Parmesan, the waitress told me that they charge extra, part of the meal was the appetizers were very good and fresh made bread with butter a great start. They have heaters in the back which kept us warm. The short ribs were excellent

I am not usually one to go out to eat at an Italian restaurant. But, holy smokes, this place knocks your socks off. Plus, you'll get a nice glass of house red or white with any pizza or pasta dish (they also have gluten-free). Are you looking for a super romantic, classy, family oriented, and nice authentically Italian dinner? Then look no further and teleport here.

Latte and hot chocolate were good, served warm though. Service was friendly, not too long to arrive. Upstairs may not work for everyone, felt smallish, balcony view is very nice.

My favorite spot in capitola. Mr toots is always so welcoming and has the best atmosphere. The great drinks and treats always make my day. If you’re ever in the area and in need of a caffeine boost, you need to stop here!

They do have some small gluten free items in the bakery cabinet. Coffee is good, staff is nice, atmosphere is chill. Plenty to look at while enjoying some Joe. Don’t let the hidden stair car/ entryway scare you away from this hidden gem. The seating is limited, but the view is worth it.

Definitely a vibe! A narrow staircase leads you up a cute Adobe style building to the second level where you are greeted by a coffee shop from the past. And by this I mean a cool vibing coffee shop with books a cozy couch locals talking the Baristas being loud and overall great time! Great local Vibes and the view off to the left is spectacular ...of the Venetian hotels along with the Pacific coast. Now to the coffee, I had an iced coffee and it was delicious! I also had an order of their cheesecake because I overheard them say It just arrived and it was fresh silky and absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly sweetened and I could tell it was homemade. The decor is inviting without pretentiousness... the coffee is great desserts amazing overall fun place to hang out be sure to set aside enough time to wait for other patrons leaving the outside seating area because it's really small are you going to have to wait for people to leave so you can get out there and catch a view there's o nly three tables

I have been a long-time customer since 1982. I come here from Silicon Valley for the calming and picturesque setting. The coffee is great, and the view is stunning. My adult children also visit because they grew up coming here with me. As you can probably tell, it’s one of my favorite places.

I wanted to mention how delicious the British Breakfast is with a pint of Speckled Hen. It’s pricey but well worth it. We also had the Banger’s and mash, which was also very good. I highly recommend stopping by for some delicious pub food on Capitola beach! The weather is always nice and the views never disappoint.

Just visited for a quick bite to eat and a beer. Very good service and very friendly guy who took our order. We had a beef burger with cheese & bacon. Food was average and beer was good. We'd definitely return if we were passing thru town again.

We had a great lunch here. Employees were wonderful - very welcoming and personable - and the menu had options for everyone. The beer options were great. Would definitely return and recommend to those wanting a dine-in lunch experience near the beach.

The British breakfast food tasted okay. The bacon was missing it's other half. The sausage, eggs passed the grade barely. The toast came without butter and looked cheap and old. The beans came 3 or 4 minutes after and was microwaved. Breakfast came with fries which I wasn't expecting. Overall, I'd say the quality of food is sliding downhill. The staff are really nice. Atmosphere is okay. It only gets 2 stars because it's a restaurant and it's lacking cleanliness, hygiene. It has filthy walls, sticky seats, tables and tacky menus, old looking, mucky condiments, beat up cutlery, carpets and black cobwebs, flies flying around. The owner manager, staff should clean the place. Shouldn't need to point this out. It's lucky they're on the ocean front at a tourist location. Otherwise, people would steer clear of this place. Fortunately, new wandering faces visit. Also, lucky for this place that they're are other filthy or crappy and over priced restaurants nearby on the shore front overcharging customers for below standard quality service food. I think I'll hold off from returning to this place. Better restaurants are more customer quality geared 5 or miles away from the beach area. Osha should pay this place a visit.

Very lovely waitress. She was amazing. Very good food we got the Britannia burger and the fish and chips (it was a great price the fish and chips) very big too.

Sorry to say that the steamed mussels used to be much better, you'd get about 12 piled on a plate in a bit of spicy delicious broth. Today there were only 6 mussels floating in a whole bowl of lemony soup. I'd call it mussel soup, not steamed mussels. Please bring back the old recipe! Otherwise I love going there.

I had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was quite busy. We decided to sit inside because there were no tables on the patio and we thought it would be good to get out of the sun. The restaurant is very open and has great views of the beach and water. Even though it was busy, our waitress came over right away to get our drink/appetizer order. We ordered crab cakes for an appetizer. They were very good! Plenty of crab, not super dense, and wasn't filled with the "binder" most restaurants use. Our drinks/appetizer came out quickly. For our meal, I ordered the blu cheese burger. My wife ordered the lobster grilled cheese. Once again, our food came out quickly. You wouldn't have thought they were busy. My burger was a 1/2lb waygu burger topped with chunks of blu cheese, onion straws, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. It was big! It was absolutely delicious! The waygu beef melted in your mouth. The blu cheese added a creamy pop of flavor to the burger. It came with fires, which I had garlic added to. In my opinion, well worth the $22 price. My wife's lobster grilled cheese was equally as good! It had big chunks of lobster surrounded by gooey melted cheese. This was the second restaurant we ate at in Capitola. Definitely a great eating experience to be had in Capitola! Great food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere!

First time eating here, Father’s Day brunch. Servers were very friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I was pleasantly surprised by the chilaquiles. I have yet to find anywhere in Santa Cruz that knocks it out of the park (Stationaery in Carmel, and Tacubaya in Berkeley setting the bar) but these were quite good. Although my wife enjoyed her eggs Benedict, the hollandaise sauce was definitely lacking in lemon (I do not want to make assumptions, but I feel as though it might’ve not been made in house) and I personally would’ve been disappointed had been my dish. That being said, their poached eggs were perfectLy runny. There were quite a few things on the share menu that we would like to try, so we will definitely be back for dinner and drinks.

We had lunch here on Saturday. We sat at the balcony and really enjoyed the fantastic view and chill vibe! However, the reason I gave two stars because the service is bad. We waited for an hour for our food - a lobster roll and a salad. Other tables nearby also waited for a long time. There was a couple waited for 15 min without being served, not even water, so they just left. I suggest restaurant owner to take customer service seriously. You don’t want to ruin people’s mood to enjoy their time at Santa Cruz.

Took my friend here for her birthday brunch. I love supporting local eats places. We went on a Monday morning. We both had the Lobster Benedict and Beignets. Super tasty and you can’t beat the view. Service was great and we loved the music too.

Absolutely love their outdoor seating with gorgeous ocean views. Also loved their fish & chips - best fish and chips ever. Can’t wait to come back to try their other dishes!

Cute bar and grill with plenty of food options service was very good 👍. I got the French dip with prime rib. It was very good although the dipping sauce was extremely salty. But all in all very good 👍 nice beach front view would still recommend.

Went for VDay and it was very tasty. It's quite expensive so I'm glad haha. I got a pork chop that came with garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized brussel sprouts. There was an apricot chutney on the pork chop that was too sweet for me especially with the balsamic reduction glaze on the brussel sprouts and drizzled around the plate. My boyfriend got the rib eye with roasted carrots and mashed potatoes and his plate looked kind of empty next to mine which was a bit of a bummer! Everything tasted great though, notably the meat was perfectly cooked. I ordered a frozen margarita, the large (18$ instead of $12 so it seemed smarter than buying two smalls) and it came in a comically large goblet. But the ratios we're good! I could taste the tequila without it being overwhelming. They also accommodated my request for less sweetness. Would probably go back but I'd try some other fancy places first before then.

One if my favorite stops in the area. Great service, good food options, and lovely koi on the patio! It has been here over 20 years. Look for the specials but if you're craving a smattering or a few goodies, the Bento Box is a good choice. Fresh and beautifully presented, this location excels over some of the others as food and service are consistently great.

Summary: Our favorite Japanese restaurant in town. You have to try their lunch entrée special. The price and the quality is exceptional. Super fresh sushi and they have the best tempura ever! If you want to substitute your California roll for better specialties you just pay for the price difference. Super Fur babies/ pet friendly with outdoor seating. If you can find a local magazine ‘Good times’, you will find coupons for $5 or $10 off.

We’re a regular at the various Sushi Harden locations. Always fresh. Service is great. The only reason I’m giving the atmosphere a 4 is that it always has a strong smell of disinfectant cleaner when you walk in. Could be worse. 😉

Sushi Garden is amazing!! It has a super cute garden with a koi pond and an inviting outdoor patio seating. Inside, natural light floods in through giant windows overlooking the garden. Time to try sushi: - Chirashi - Sushi Garden Special (sashimi + nigiri combo) The fish is incredibly fresh and clean! For either of these, you get thick cuts of buttery melt-in-your-mouth fresh salmon, toro (tuna belly), hamachi. There were other cuts of fish but these truly stood out. For such premium cuts, it's a pretty good deal! Their tamago/egg was tasty and sweet - delicious. The rice itself could use a bit more flavor, but the rolls, on the other hand, were so deliciously flavorful! Overall, the sauces on all the rolls delivered excellent flavor. Not too heavy, salty, or spicy. Great balance and ratio of fish : rice : sauce. the ROLLS we got: - Magic Dragon - This is like a spicier dragon. Great combo of spicy and sweet. Yum! - Trio (from the special menu) - A lighter, all-protein option with no rice. Again, quality buttery salmon right here. - Dr. Woo’s - yellowtail inside with albacore outside, great combo with spicy mayo - Volcano roll - spicy tuna topped with seared salmon - like when salmon gets slightly seared, it absolutely is the best! All the rolls were great, but the Magic Dragon and Volcano Roll were my favorites because their flavor profiles were chefs kiss. The staff was incredibly nice and generous. This local establishment has been a staple here for years! Their menu is massive, and while the names of the rolls could be more straightforward, their website has pictures, which helps! They truly have options for everyone, from classic to fusion.

The manager and his team are very rude to the restaurant customers! I understand that I have to wait in line for 20-30 minutes, but when there were free people standing and the manager doesn’t allow me to sit down, I really want to turn around and leave, despite the fact that. They have a very good sushi chef!

We get take out from here every time we're in Santa Cruz. Midori Michi has that perfect combo of sweet and savory, avocado, tempura, with a sweet sauce and macadamia nuts. The vegetable tempura is huge! Inside seating is comfortable and bright.

First time at Sushi Garden. Stopped by for dinner around 5pm. Not busy at all. Staff is friendly and was patient with our newbie selfs. We searched on Google for images of the different rolls. I would have liked images on the menu of the rolls, but google did not dissapoint. Joe tried the Spider roll $15 and I tried the Ebi Carnival roll $16. Both very good. We also had the fried Gyoza pork Appetizer $8. Love them! Next time we will stop by the Watsonville location too.

We went to this restaurant last Saturday for an early dinner. There were no other people at the restaurant when we arrived. We were not even sure if they were open because the entrance door was closed and there was a huge lock on it. The server brought us water and the menus and wanted to take our order right away. We asked for a few minutes since we were not familiar with their menu. We asked for fresh vegetable rolls to start with and the server just wanted to rush us to order everything we wanted. We asked him what dishes he would recommend for someone who is on a plant based diet? He didn't seem to understand the question and when I elaborated he said that the wok dishes. However, there was nothing marked on the menu about wok or anything else. He seemed to be annoyed when I asked him to show it on the menu and he just "circled" a few with his finger. We ordered a dish and a soup to share. He confirmed it multiple times and switched plates, brought us cups. We got our food which was absolutely delicious. The portions were smaller than in other restaurants and there was no rice on the plate with the vegetables... We ordered one, but he forgot to bring it to us on time... We felt like eating one more dish and wanted to order a basil dish, however they told us that we would have to wait at least 25 minutes because they were busy with takeouts. They literally wanted to convince us not to order more, but leave. They even said no to the desserts and brought us the receipt. We left disappointed and there was nobody to say goodbye to when we exited the place. They should at least communicate their "order policy" better towards the customers.

A very unfriendly place for families — the waiter clearly doesn’t like children. In just five minutes, we were given three warnings, so we left. And mind you, my child is actually quite calm for a two-year-old. Of course, he's curious in a new place, wants to walk around, look at things, and touch the figurines. Found other review where it’s also the same that their two-year-old wasn’t welcome here — so it’s definitely a no if you’re coming with kids. This was the worst Thai restaurant on the planet. It’s surprising, considering Thai people usually love children. Overall, a terrible experience — I strongly do not recommend it.

I recently moved to the area and decided to stop by for a light lunch to sample the food. I ordered the fresh rolls and the veggie soup. The peanut sauce that accompanied the fresh rolls was delicious. However, the soup was quite lacking in tofu and vegetables, as it was mostly broth. Flavors were good, so I would definitely come back for dinner, but would not get the soup again.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Absolutely ridiculous. We ordered food from here take out as we usually do and sat outside to eat the food. I was shocked when they told us we couldn't eat the food outside, and that was for dine in. I said we just paid for the food, tipped 20 percent why can't we eat outside. The owner literally said " we safe it for our costumers" Acting like we are not customers? I said okay then we would like a refund, he was completely rude and uncalled for. Yelling at us saying when we have a restaurant we can do whatever we want. We are Santa Cruz locals, and are absolutely in shock at the way we were just treated. Unfortunately the food is good, but never will I go back after being treated with such disrespect. Not to mention there is not one person eating inside or outside, there was no reason for this reaction. As I said, I will be reporting him to the better business bureau for harrasment. The owner clearly is rude and doesn't deserve business or appreciate it. DO NOT EAT HERE!

We were looking for something relatively light and not dough based and happened to come across this Thai restaurant and I’m so happy we did! I had the Pad Thai and it was honestly delicious. Great portion size (lunch menu is slightly cheaper and smaller) but mostly really good and deep flavours. 100% recommend if youin the area!

The food here is always really good. It’s just one family. Often they are very friendly. Sometimes they make mistakes. It’s an honor to be served such delicious food from them. If you want robot courtesy this is not the place.

I usually hate coming to Santa Cruz but i had to come to this area to visit family. We had stopped by this place today because my mom wanted thai food and this place had surprised us because its such a small hidden restaurant but the food was amazinggg. Im from the bay area and the thai food in the area is mediocre but i love loved the pad thai and sweet and sour here. The spice was on point because usually other places don’t do as spicy but this is real thai spice and i really enjoyed that.

Absolutely one of my TOP favorites in Capitola, the food is amazing with good portion amounts delicious cocktails and friendly fast service. I went with some friends for a bday dinner, we had the oysters which were so meaty and delicious, incredible truffle fries with the perfect crunch sprinkled with fresh finely shredded Parmesan( this one was my favorite), fried green tomatoes that were incredibly flavorful. I enjoyd the Ribeye that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. There were some young kids with our party and they had some great options for them ( that were not on the menu) like chicken tenders, butter noodles and Mac & cheese. I highly recommend for a special occasion or whenever you are wanting some good quality food.

We had made early Thursday dinner reservations for our 43 anniversary. As locals, we had wanted to visit this restaurant to see what the rave was all about. The atmosphere is clean, modern, comfortable-but small. Thankfully, we made early arrangements, as it tends to get loud as the tables became populated. When we arrived we were pointed to our table. Apparently the table where we took a sit was the wrong table, so we were asked to move. The restaurant had only been open an hour, so the restaurant was pretty much vacant. When our waiter arrived he informed us of the fresh fish was Halibut for the evening special. When the waiter returned we ordered a half set of oysters and our drinks. It took a while to get anything to the table, which was pretty surprising considering he only had one other table. Upon delivery of the oysters we both decided to order the pork belly with scallops, a fan favorite. Again, no one came by to check on us, let us know of a delay, refill our drinks..nothing. When the plates arrive the presentation was sloppy!! I plate better at home than this chef. (Pictures attached- left is what we was served-right is what others posted/website) The waiter dropped, left without asking us if we wanted another drink or a refill on water or tea? Nothing! The food was tasty, just poorly presented. I want to say that the waiter and the chef were just having a bad night. Certainly, a price point per serving needs to come with a bit more care in preparations and service. Probably won’t be recommending this place anytime soon!

I was fortunate to be seated relatively quickly without a reservation on both Friday and Saturday evenings, although the restaurant was quite busy. The food was excellent, but the service on both nights could have been better. On Friday, the server was average but friendly. On Saturday, I was seated at the bar, and, well, I only stayed because I was hungry. I received very little attention and was never asked if my meal was satisfactory or if I needed anything. As I was finishing my meal, the hostess asked me to move down the bar to accommodate a larger group. This request could have been handled more politely, especially since my card had been on the bar, ready for payment, for about five minutes. If the service could match the quality of the food, this would be a truly exceptional establishment.

Had the best anniversary dinner and time at Trestles. As out of staters, locals kept telling us we need to go here that we would love it! They didn’t steer us wrong! Wow!! The service and the food was 10/10!! We even got complimentary champagne! The sashimi to die for! The blue fin was amazing! Oysters on the half were some of the best I’ve had. We also got the chimicurri steak ridiculous. We didn’t leave a bite behind. Atmosphere is very cozy intimate low lighting and has a great vibe!

Having visiting Capitola many times , my husband and I, while visiting for our 20th Wedding anniversary, we finally got to experience this beautiful restaurant. The vibe was modern and fun. The staff is a vibrant group, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I told my husband I’d pitch a reality show like Vanderpump lol. They seem to have fun and enjoy their jobs. The food was magnificent: it hit all the senses. Also, I don’t drink, so having mocktail options is something I always appreciate and look forward too. We will definitely go again based on our experience.

Me and my wife were visiting from Reno and seen this rated pretty high so we stopped by and let me tell you this is probably the best meal I’ve had and I’ve been to some nice places, we talk about it probably once a week since we went last month. Got hot flashes thinking about my meal. Wish we had something like that place here.

After grabbing some pizza from Pizza My Heart, our family decided to grab some icecream! Polar Bear Ice Cream stood right where we were walking and the variety of icecream flavors offered caught our eye. You are able to sample the flavors to try. I noticed that the flavors are organized according to a particular theme so that helps with navigating the large menu. For a family of five we ordered a triple scoop since one of us is lactose intolerant and we were all quite full. The three flavors we have chosen were all chocolate-based *Heaven - peanut butter 🧈 taken to another level, incredibly rich so it slowed us down to eat * Chubby cub chocolate - the chocolate was not too sweet which made it SO GOOD! best chocolate icecream *One mysterious flavor we forgot the name of but we’ve been told it’s one of the most popular - it had some Carmel in it (the middle scoop of our picture) and if you love caramel this is a must We thank the staff for their service. The size of the scoops were kind too. God bless you all

Bro this place has the best ice cream ever. I am genuinly not that crazy over ice cream but I find myself constantly getting some here. The location is perfect in regards to a hot day out downtown, and the staff are impeccable! You can tell the staff like their jobs, the energy was amazing and I felt super safe and comfortable at this location. Whenever I go get ice cream this is my go to!

This ice cream was DELICIOUS! We all had different flavors and they were each really really good. Suggestion: for your special flavors have a spot that says what is in them. The staff kept having to explain with many of the people who were ordering. The staff was friendly and kind. Trying to figure out a way to go 1 more time before we head home. YUMMMMMM!

This ice cream shop is a must try, they have so many different flavors to try from and their customer service is amazing. Highly recommend and it’s close by the beach so it’s a nice place to stop by for a delicious treat.

Good variety, crowded on weekends. Some ice cream flavors look like they have food coloring (like a pistachio) but the coffee based flavors were well done.

Many delicious dairy free options, including chocolate! There were chunks of ice in my ice cream and service isn't the best, but the ice cream is delicious.

Decent burger, but have to order fries separately? Place was filled with screaming children, which it seems they cater to with the decore. Pretty pricey for what it was and all the screaming.

The Carpo burger tasted like the best version of burger from your neighbors backyard barbecue. Cooked to order to a perfect medium, dumped sloppily on a delicious toasted and buttered roll before you go to the toppings bar to finish it how you like. Salad bar has a variety of clean greens, veggies and prepared salads to choose from. The beef barley soup was also good. Seems like a place that locals appreciate. Sort of a nice time capsule of what a sizzlers used to be like.

Had a great time at Carpos with the family it’s a Santa Cruz staple. I had the chicken teriyaki with rice and I would recommend it for sure. My milkshake was also great!

Awesome fish and chips with multiple other options, including a salad bar. Very well priced food for the quality. Robert was a very welcoming and friendly server. Would recommend 100 %.

Not sure why I can't use the DoorDash app, but when ordering on the Carpo's website, DoorDash delivers. That said, We have been enjoying Carpo's since it opened in 1981. Great food, (best salad bar in town too), great price point, friendly and fast staff. Thanks!

Food was well prepared. My cod was tasty, but no tartar sauce so a bit dry. Hamburger good, but bun was chewy. Was it microwaved. Very busy holiday n night so hard to find parking to pickup food. Next time, will remind about sauce and ask about the bun. Overall, Carpos does a good job even when super busy!

Birthday dinner at Carpo’s was nice. We sat in a booth away from the larger crowd. First time eating here. You walk up and stand in line to order your food. They give you a buzzer for when the food is ready. Food was good. The only encounter we had with staff was when we ordered and picked up the food. Its kinda like a fast food restaraunt only the food is better. The dining area had nice clean booths. A salad bar available also. Parking lot is small, we went before the dinner rush.

Solid Hawaiian restaurant. Food was great. If you're craving Hawaiian food, this is the spot. If you're looking for true authentic Hawaiian dishes, it's great but just nearly there! While our dishes were great, the fish and chips was just a bit hard for the fried fish. The mac salad sides were good. Rice quality was on point and will satisfy anyone that wants rice with their food. Service was excellent! The employees were very nice and welcoming. We got our waters refilled. The tables were clean and we got seated right away after ordering. You do have to order and pay first before being seated. Overall, a great restaurant to fulfill your Hawaiian cravings.

We visited on a Friday evening in August, and the place was buzzing with activity. The team has done a nice job creating a Hawaiian-inspired atmosphere, though it still felt like a little something was missing. The host and staff were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our visit. The food, however, really stood out! Since I was dining with two kids, I went with the burger, which was simple but satisfying. The Kalua pork plate and island quesadilla were both delicious, and the Teriyaki chicken was perfectly marinated and grilled. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience—something refreshing and different from the usual.

Decent Hawaiian restaurant in Santa Cruz county. Plenty of parking in the back (the spaces are quite narrow). Order up at the counter and they’ll bring the food out to you. Pono has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, along with a seated bar. The majority of outdoor seating is shaded which was a relief. The food was decent. The sauce for the mahi mahi katsu was an unexpected flavor, I don’t think I would order it again. Their poke is good, and I would definitely go back to try something new. There’s also a small kids play area in the front patio!

If you're down in Santa Cruz and want some Hawaiian food, this place is great! You order from the front, and take a seat indoors or outdoors. They will deliver the food to you. Outdoor patio was beautiful. I got the combo mix that comes with rice and shredded pork, sided with kimchi and macaroni salad. Along with that comes your choice of poke. I got the traditional poke with ahi tuna. The fish was really fresh and clean. The shredded pork was seasoned well. To me the star of the show was their pickled kimchi! It was sour than the traditional kimchi but helped balanced the dish really well. If you're in for a quick stop, one plate tray seemed to be fine for two people. Would love to visit again and try their other dishes!

As a native Hawaiian I can say that this is a poor representation of our culture when it came to their service. The customer service is TERRIBLE!!! The girl taking orders at the register with dark hair (she was wearing a black polka dot shirt on 8/31/25) was so rude. didnt seem like she wanted us there or to help us when we asked questions. All of the staff seemed so unfriendly to us. That gave us a bad taste in our mouths when it came to the food. The food is decent. The fish was pretty fresh but I wouldnt call it authentic. Hawaiian poké doesnt have edamame and all the frills. Please don’t use our culture & food if your staff lack an ounce of ALOHA!!!!

Very impressed with my visit today! The decor and layout was inviting and very aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Loco Moco as well as Teriyaki Chicken. The beef patties were full of flavor and the gravy really took it to another level. I loved the smoky taste of the teriyaki chicken as well! It was extremely tender. I genuinely expect to visit this place more in the future!

Really enjoyed this place. The food was OK - nothing notable as pub food often is. The atmosphere, décor, and cliental were great. Drinks were delivered quickly despite the crowd. Bar tender and staff were great (friendly and responsive).

Melissa our server was lovely. The food was average. The space was tight. But they are hustling and I want them to succeed. The prices are modest and the restaurant is a good value portion wise. Four stars because they are a small business and working hard.

We probably picked up the wrong day. The food was not good, the service was so so. My dish was not right, too much wine and make it acid. My wife dish was hot as hell, see video. The waiter saw us waiting a lot before starting to it, but she did not bother herself to check what was wrong. But she was handling the entire space by herself, so it was not her fault. Place is one room full of tables, you do not have privacy and people hit your table to go from point A to B, make sure you do not get the table at entrance or the one in front of kitchen station.

I have been to Milan and Rome, and have ate in Italy. This is by far the best pasta I have had in my life. I got the fettuccine porchini and it was 11/10. Please don’t waste time if you are nearby and try this local restaurant. 10 out of 10.

Went to dinner last night with friends. This place is very small. 4seats at bar watching the chef cook and approx 8 tables. It will get crowded but I thought the food was pretty good but not something to rave about in my opinion. They have a Wine & Beer License just an FYI. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was a nice place but I won’t be going back. I realize that everyone has different tastes and it was nice to try but now a repeat place for me. Here is what we ordered: (I included some pictures of our meal). Salmon Special served with a red sauce (very nice portion of Salmon that was flaky) , roasted potatoes and vegetable. My wife had the Lasagne and it was ok - it was missing ricotta cheese) nothing special. I split the Fettuccine Porcini (That was fantastic) and a Biancaneve Pizza (The pizza didn’t have much flavor even with the truffle oil). We finished our meal with homemade desserts: Tiramisu and some other gelatinous desert served with some sauce. We should have skipped the deserts actually. The Tiramisu was lacking a rum flavor and the chocolate sauce drizzle overpowered this dish. The other thing really had no flavor.

We went to Caruso's for dinner while visiting Capitola. Be aware that the place is really small. Indoor seating is very limited. We were seated outside initially, but the server was kind enough to call us in when a seat opened up. We had ordered the vegetarians pizza and the Dischetti Al Tartufo. Both tasted good, especially the sauce in Dischetti Al Tarufo was excellent. We do not know what was the reason but they forgot about our order for a while. Then they realised later and got the food. It was 45 mins since we ordered. Also they got us gnocchi al forno instead of Dischetti Al Tartufo and we had to send it back. Overall we had a decent experience.

Food was good. Would have tasted better if we weren’t waiting as long. Sat down around 5pm. Waited around 45mins for our main course by this stage we were starving. Would come back only on a quite day as wasn’t worth the wait

We live above the Capitola Village and decided to have our rehearsal dinner here. They were amazing. We have come here for years to hang out and listen to bands upstairs. They closed the whole restaurant for us and we had the whole inside to ourselves. Amazing! The manager there is adorable and so sweet and gave us the best service along with the bartender and the cook! Love this place. Always have. If you have a event, this is the coolest spot. We had the bar to ourselves as well! Thank you for the wonderful night we had.

Cosy little restaurant at the end of the pier. Pricing surprisingly good, food is haute cuisine, but all the fish is quite fresh and besides the fact that most fish is batter, the rations are decent and it's as good as you can expect. The setting is very nice, the place is slightly rocking in the wind and waves which adds a dimension to the experience. They serve great drinks! Service of drinks was slow, but we were a group of 22, and there were other people in the restaurant, so nothing wrong with that.

The fried calamari makes me realize I've only ever ate sh*tty calamari in the past. The serving is huge, every piece was so tender, breading was light. It's so delicious. The service at the restaurant was fast and friendly. And how can you beat the view?!?

Food was good, pay attention to dinner and lunch times because the price jumps up pretty high for dinner time. Service both times I was there was good and friendly. Views are good and the live band on the weekends are awesome.

We came a couple of times cause we liked the view plus ok food. Today we had a terrible experience. We order fish, we took a couple of bites and realize it was absolutely burned and tasted terrible. We told the waitress and she said they couldn’t do anything as we ate the “majority “ of the fish. Really? Is that even a response? On top of that, when we told the waitress we were disappointed she said she still deserved her tip as it was not her decision. Insane. Don’t go there, really not recommended.

I love this place it's phenomenal for me and my family of 7. Because they have Groupon I'm able to get a $65 meal for $35. That's a great deal. And the food is outrageously delicious.

I’ve been a regular here for 35+ years, my last three visits have been disappointing. The prices have gone way up and the amount of meat and fillings in the burritos has gone way way down. I hope the owners read this and do something it, raise price if you have to, but don’t compromise on the food.Tacos Moreno is no longer the best burrito in town.

Had the Burrito Supreme Al Pastor and it was hands-down the best! Loved the cabbage in it instead of soggy lettuce. The beans and the beans were cooked so well. Fresh! Fast! The salsa that's given on the side was delicious! Go here! To tick off the authentic Mexican burrito that you're looking for while in Santa Cruz.

Had a veggie burrito and a veggie quesadilla, great taste. My friends had the Al Pastor burrito and they loved it. Would recommend this place. Cash only, although they have an ATM (atleast when I was here)

Wonderful small eatery with a loyal and long-standing clientele. A local favorite. Vegetarian Quesedillas are our go-to, and the Chilie Verde burrito is excellent, too. Seating is limited, and there is no table service. CASH ONLY. ATM on site.

Love this cute little homey spot with great food, cheerful service, excellent food and some of the best clam chowder ever. The shrimp salad is so good!! Sautéed shrimp over greens. Their shrimp eggs Benedict is a new fave. Superb Hollandaise!

Found this on Google while searching for breakfast places. I wanted to try the southern eggs Benedict, and it didn't disappoint. I was with my family and my dog, and they had a small outside patio so we could enjoy breakfast with our furby. Cute little spot!!!

I past this restaurant and returned a hour later just before closing. Best decision hands down. I ordered from the breakfast menu a omelet with shrimp and avocados and it was so filling and delicious, it came w/hash browns and toast. I had a traditional mimosa as well. The seating outside is also great for people watching and to bask in the sunshine. The staff are very attentive. Great food and experience.

We stopped here driving back to Los Angeles and we were glad we did. We sat on the patio with our dog and had breakfast. We both had eggs Benedict (one chorizo and one classic) and they were both delicious. The coffee was excellent as was the service. The prices were very reasonable. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

BEST Italian restaurant in the greater Santa Cruz area! This place has old world charm and a fantastic wine list. The service is always friendly and speedy, even when they are very busy, which is often. The lamb shank, when available is my favorite dish, and the pastas are hand made fresh every day. Take your family (kids welcome and encouraged), for a fancier night out. This is also the perfect restaurant to close a deal, go on a first or regular date.

Second time I’ve eaten at Bella Roma, and both were great. Small, friendly place - menu has all the basics and a lot of dishes you do not always see at run of the mill Italian restaurants. Lot’s of gnocchi dishes, and all the pasta is fresh made. Good wine list, reasonably priced, great service, just off the village center.

The owner is present and involved, and it shows, in a good way. Good quality ingredients, and you pay for it. Service is better than Santa Cruz standards, but far from fine dining. The atmosphere on a busy night feels every bit as loud and crowded as it is. Big open room, hard floors. The moderately priced authentic wine list is stored properly. Great meat sauces. Carpaccio appetizer dishes (both) were presented well, as was the prosciutto melon for starters. The ragus in the main courses were fantastic. Only culinary miss was the cream sauce in the crab ravioli special was quite over salted. 6 plates out of 7 were remarkable. Will be back.

This weeks „ #greatamericantakeout Tuesday “ was a pasta kind of day. Let me warn you beforehand: if you get the meatball fettuccine you better be REALLY hungry... 😁 The pickled garlic was delicious and so were the Gnocchi and the Spinach salad. We stayed very local again with this cute little Italian place. With places like this I really hope we can experience the amazing hospitality of the local gems soon again as this just seemed so inviting... 👍🏼😊

My boyfriend and I came from out of town and wore sweatshirts (it was colder than expected) and felt incredibly judged by our clothing. The hostess sat us in the corner next to a table of 5 that was extremely loud and having conversations that weren't exactly meal friendly. Wine selection was small as was their main course menu. We ordered pastas and were both disappointed, especially considering that we ordered the specials. I ordered the mushroom and shrimp raviolis and I'm unsure what wasn't cleaned all the way, but every time I got a bite of shrimp and mushroom from the sauce, I bit into a piece of sand. The sauce on both of our pastas were incredibly soupy, which made our pasta noodles sauce-less. The quality of the food vs the 80$ spent on dinner was not worth it, and I unfortunately don't see myself ever returning to this restaurant when in town.

We love the food, service and wine selection! They make most of the pasta in house...so many choices but I always go back to their filet mignon and special crab and shrimp ravioli with a cream sauce. The gnocchi is also excellent as well as eggplant parmesan appetizer. Really I don’t think you can go wrong...so good!

I am an italian recently moved to the bay area. Being from Rome I was very excited to try this restaurant. My and my girlfriend sent back 2 out of 3 plates. The food had nothing to do with Italy and it was of very bad quality. The restaurant charged us for the entire meal (very expensive) even if we sent back the dishes. Since we did not ate at all, we (me and my girlfriend) had to go to another restaurant.

My wife and I recently returned from a trip to New Orleans, so we decided to eat here. I must say that the food here was as good as what we had in New Orleans, maybe better. We ordered the jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp étouffée, alligator, fried green tomatoes, and muffaletta, and washed it all down with an Abita Andygator Cajun beer. Everything was delicious! Our compliments to owner and chef Chad for the delectable cuisine!

Day trip in Capitola, wanted good food, came here and was not disappointed! I wanted Cajun food because I'm going to New Orleans in a few weeks. The hardest part was deciding what to order, everything on the menu sounded amazing. Food was delicious, cute decor, and really nice service. Also, easy parking. This place is definitely worth a visit.

The food was always solid, and I’m really going to miss having some good Cajun flavor around here. Grateful I got to stop by one last time. I’ll always remember those po’ boy sandwiches (especially the limited time gator was available) and beignets. The food was always full of flavor, good memories of this spot.

Best Po’ Boy sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the fried oyster and the Jambalaya. I came here because I’m vacationing with my dog and the BringFido app said they are dog friendly. The food is great and they’re people friendly, too. I highly recommend this place. Great New Orleans atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back if I find myself in this area again. Came in for the po boy and jambalaya . Ordered 1/2 shrimp 1/2 oysters and got a $5 up charge for "double protein". It wasn't double anything. The shrimp were good but the oysters were tiny and burnt to a crisp, maybe that's why they were tiny? The bread was stale. The jambalaya was OK but just lukewarm, that was kind of worrysome. The inside was dirty, trash overflowing, outside was better. Regret our lunch here, "can't win them all", someone said.😅

What a great cozy place for some Cajun food. Red beans and rice, Catfish and Gumbo. Gotta add the cornbread too. Oh my….so good. All the classics and made to order fresh. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Restaurant was very clean.

Something for everyone here! This place is a new favorite spot. Full of flavor, made in house, fresh and tasty. Southern comfort food without too much guilt. Their Gumbos, Jambalaya, and Stews are heavenly. The best part, is that you can choose 2 different kinds on one plate. Parted by a bed of rice, adorned with a New Orleans version of garlic bread. It’s all so good. Their po-boys are super on point. Shrimp is my husband’s favorite. Full of complexities in texture and bursting with cajun flavors. They have a nice variety of hot sauces to dip fries, fried pickles, or to add a kick to your food. My favorite is the ‘Slap Ya Mama’ hot sauce - it’s fire. Their fries are crispy, thin and delicious. Dessert wise, their Beignets are made fresh to order. They come piping hot, served with a simple sugar icing to dip into. Or, you could try and fill one with the sugar icing, it just gets super messy in the end :) They come in a bag, about 5 per order. They have a great seating space outside for when the weather permits. Inside, comfortably sit at the tables or along the bar table where you can view outside. Very friendly employees. They offer excellent recommendations and descriptions. Definelty worth checking out. Prices are reasonable at $10.95 for stews and $12.50 for Po-BoysYou can get Bloody Mary’s, beer and wine here too!

A good place to have some Thai food. A small and cozy restaurant with good view of the beach. The service was amicable and was fast. We got crab Rangoon, drunken pad Thai, chicken omelette over rice and minced chicken curry. All the food was good but it was not the best I’ve tasted. I’ve had better version of all the food. The quantity was also less compared to other Thai places I’ve been to. Also they didn’t tweak the spiciness as usually the person asks for spice level and here it was less spicy. Overall it was a great experience if you crave for some Thai food.

The ownership of this beachfront Thai restaurant has recently changed hands so ignore old reviews and photos. The women now running the restaurant are culinary queens. Everything is made with the freshest and most flavorful ingredients and beautifully prepared and presented. We’ve had three extraordinary meals there in two weeks. A whole fish called River in the Garden was excellent. The duck larb consisted of slices of roast duck in a perfectly balanced dressing with the freshest of vegetables. We’ve had the outstanding green papaya salad, the duck noodle soup, and more. The cuisine is head and shoulders above the average Thai joint. This is 5-star cuisine. And it’s right on the Capitola beach.

My Thai Beach has a laid-back, small-town restaurant feel, with a compact dining area and what seemed like a single chef in the kitchen. Despite being relatively crowded over Labor Day weekend, the service was slow, with long waits between dishes. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress either - the red curry lacked salt, and the noodles and fried rice were just average. Given the experience, I wouldn't rush back. However, if you're craving Thai food while at the beach, it's an option to consider.

Good food with and cordial service. They cooked our food pretty quickly. We were there for dinner and got seats instantl. Food Tasted quite good -considering the fact that it is a restaurant in a tourist-heavy spot of Capitola. Their Spice level is a bit uppish. Their "Medium" will be called "hot" in many other Thai restaurants in the USA. They serve some fried rice with poached egg on top -a bit different (in a good way).

I call "My Thai Beach" my kitchen. I love food from under the new owner of this restaurant, especially the Basil Chicken. I'll come here to meet friend while enjoy Thai food. Here not too expensive with delicious food. If I have party, I'll simply order some food to go. all my friends in party love the food too.

Food is fair tasting, service is so-so. When we visited their POS is not working so instead of focusing on the customer on their wait time, much time is spent on making sure the balance is correct, tables are not cleaned, service is compromised. What should probably have been done is limit the number of customers coming in or close the store for awhile. We saw other customers leave. The view though on 2 tables are beautiful due to the ocean. Street parking or parking lots nearby. Accepts credit/debit. My verdict: not highly recommended but you could try for yourself

They're food is good like many Japanese restaurants and the monster roll is delicious. If you don't mind rude service then it's a good place to grab some sushi. I personally don't like being ignored for about 30 min after seating to get asked if we're ready to order. 🙄 Also staff wasn't friendly, it seemed the person helping us wanted to be elsewhere than helping us. So if it wasn't for the rude service, I'd give it a 3.5 review.

We always enjoy Takara as a family time out we celebrated my granddaughters graduation. Food was good with generous portions, atmosphere is pleasant and not to loud, service was good. I always enjoy the tempura mix and teriyaki beef and my kids have shush.

The lunch combo is inexpensive and definitely above average quality for Japanese food. It is also quick to be seated, order, and served which I look for in a lunch place. The atmosphere and decor is nice enough to invite clients without being too stuffy for a casual meal.

I used to take the kids here occasionally, but we've had to send rolls back that were poorly made, tasted like mayonnaise and just poor service overall. The biggest issue was a sushi cooler that was clearly not working and dripping water all over the raw fish. The chefs, nor the manager seemed to care when we brought the issue to their attention. We don't go here anymore.

I was bummed they wanted $3 to simply deep fry my roll. I was also bummed when the lady retaliated by stuffing the end of my roll with wasabi. I wasn’t even rude, I just said I thought that was a bit much and that’s what I got. Be careful.. also food here is very average. Service in general is quick but unfriendly.

The sushi was awesome! The green tea ice cream is a must. It had a nice setting and you could just feel the family-friendly environment. Whether its a casual or nice occasion I totally recommend for you to go.

I enjoyed the food very much, the staffs were wonderful and professional, the owner was super kind. You have to order the sweet mussel, it's their signature and is so delicious. I will definitely come back.

Very nice. Sake boxes are fun. Good was fresh. Pork tonkatsu was crispy. I had not been here in a very long time. But will definitely come back. 2nd time not as nice, dinner. Saki was not full, sushi was ok service was ok, they were bored so on phones.

This place has the worst service in Santa Cruz. Recap of our last 2 experiences. 1. Order food to go. Wait time 35 minutes. I show up on time. It takes them another 35 minutes once I show up to get my food. Wasted time. 2. We order food online for pickup. Order is accepted and gives us a 25 min eta. We go to pick it up and the restaurant is closed. The charge on the card went through which we now have to challenge and we wasted 1/2 hour waiting to eat dinner. Overall this place is incredibly unreliable.

This restaurant has the best selection of vegan sushi I have ever encountered. Everything I tried was delicious. Thank you for offering variety and creativity in your vegetarian offerings.

Ordered delivery through Doordash for the first time and was very impressed with the quality and variety of flavors. I am a vegetarian and had more options than just the traditional simple rolls. Pics taken after we were almost done eating. Plan to eat from here again 😸 Edit: Was really happy with the vegetarian offerings but asked that any items containing msg be removed from my order as it makes me very ill. No one contacted me and my full order was prepared so believed everything was fine. Was quite happy with the flavor of my meal but became ill just a couple hours after eating it so presume they ignored my request. Will likely be very ill for the next few days now. Changing my review from 5 star to 3 for disregarding my request.

My wife and I gave this place a shot for our anniversary and loved it! The staff was very friendly and the sushi was tasty. I definitely enjoyed the sashimi more than the rolls, but one of the basil rolls were surprisingly delicious. This is the only sushi place I have ever been to that had something actually spicy. You gotta try the Satan sauce if you are crazy about hot food!

I have lived in Santa Clara California for 18 years since I married an American, before I lived in Kauai where I learned to appreciate Japanese culture and food. That's why whenever I can I choose start with edamame, miso soup, then sushi, sashimi, tempura, salmon or a classic bento box . Many weekends we go to different areas of the bay, Capitola is one of my favorites, especially in summer. We go to this restaurant for dinner, the atmosphere is incredible. They have many tables inside a very spacious room, there are always nice people, I love the decoration the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable . They have vegetarian options and a good tea selection. The staff is friendly, professional the service is fast. I highly recommend this place for a fun moment with great food.

Truly amazing vegan sushi! One of the best on the west coast in my opinion and I’ve had a lot of vegan sushi across California + Oregon. They really dedicated a good chunk of the menu for creative options that are flavourful and affordable. You won’t see the common and unnecessary “vegan tax” here, it allows you to splurge to try more rolls! Highly recommended.

I loved it here. My waitresses were the most adorable thing, and they were attentive and kind!!!!! Thank you guys for being so great!! Also, their girls bathrooms water faucet is super hot and they even posted a note next to the faucet warning us that it gets hot and even had instructions on how to get the water to get cold. So thoughtful!!! Legit we came here each day of our stay out here in Santa Cruz because the food was too good :)

Very good food. Lots of selection and tastes great. I've been here with my family for lunch and dinner, so far, and both times were great. Service is pretty decent -- wait times are not long and they're attentive.

I’ve always loved the IHOP brand but honestly, this place is just a terrible example of one. Same menu items and the people seem nice but that’s all the positives. Places too small for how popular IHOP is. That means insane wait times on the weekend and in summer in general. They don’t pick up their phone and they lag with online orders. They were out of sugar for coffee and the waitress only made a slight effort to find some more which she couldn’t. Not end of the world, but gave an accurate impression of this IHOP. Something I want to mention, this IHOP had numerous groups who pushed “customer satisfaction” to the limit. I mean, they were seated already done with their food when I got there, I waited to be seated over 30 minutes (party of 1), finally got seated, and by the time I ordered my food, ate, and paid my bill, those groups were STILL there! Not eating or anything literally just sitting there while people complaining that their expected wait time just to be seated was now over an hour. I’ve never experienced this at an IHOP, and I’m not sure if IHOP has a policy on this. I mean, I’m all for people enjoying their time when they pay money, but there must be a limit at some point. I have politely been asked for my table in the past for other restaurants (not IHOP) when it was clear I was finished with my meal because they were really busy. That specific restaurant DID have a posted time limit policy, which was very fair. But like I said, I’ve never experienced people hogging table time like that at an IHOP but I must point out that there was no effort to collect the table from those groups from the staff.

Brought my family (0f 6) in for breakfast but were completely ignored. We sat in the waiting area over 15 min waiting to be at least acknowledged or be seated but were not even acknowledged by any of the workers (mind you we were the only ones waiting). Then a couple walks in and the hostess walks right up to them and gives them a table. I then proceed to stand right in front of the podium and every waitress/waiter including hostess again continue to ignore us walking back and fourth past us. The restaurant was not busy at all there was many tables available it was obvious they choose not to help us. We are from out of state and were driving through and it seems like we were being discriminated for whatever reason. I’ve worked in the customer service field for over 20 years and I have NEVER had to walk out of a restaurant or place for SERVE REFUSAL. Customer perception is huge in the food and retail industry and this location might want to start considering this on a day to day basis!

We stop in for Breakfast yesterday on our Vacation. Let me tell you the food and service was phenomenal the last time we ate at IHOP when we were on vacation in Tahoe the food was cold and they’re busy. Thanks again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like it here. It is good solid food and service was good. I love that they give you a carafe of coffee that stays hot through the entire meal. 1st picture is the French toast combo. 2nd is the pancake combo...enjoy!!!

The food was delicious and my server was very nice. I did have to wait about 5 minutes when I came in to be seated even though there was no one ahead of me and no one acknowledged me in that time. Also the floor at my both was very greasy to the point I slipped around when I got up. Otherwise it was a good experience and I'd try them again. Update 4-2-24 service was slow to the point I walked out after waiting 15 minutes for a seat and never even being acknowledged.

My children and I love this place. They love the crêpes. I have celiacs and love that I can have french fries. Employees are always fantastic and the food quality is consistently great.

Delicious! We ordered the breakfast burrito, 2 banana and Nutella crepes, 1 Parisian lemon crepe and 1 strawberry cream crepe. Everything was delicious! There were plenty of bananas and strawberries inside the pancake and lots of cream on the side. I definitely recommend this place.

I was looking for a quick bite since I work near by. The two gentleman behind the counter were very friendly. I went with the breakfast burrito, it was so good! Full of flavor and I got it with bacon. It had fresh onion and tomatoes and potatoes. It was a bit on the small side but definitely delicious, will definitely be going back to try more

Food is really good!! Beni crepes delicious,the also have some Mexican options like chilaquiles huevos rancheros for lunch have sandwiches and burgers and of course a great variety of crepes. they have outside sitting and staff is really nice. Gets busy so have companion to talk when you are wanting. Usually food come out on time. Opens at 9 am so for a late start and closes at 3 pm.

I discovered Sweet Pea's around 7 years ago. Since then I've recommended SP to hundreds of my friends and family. I haven't heard any complaints. Personally my fave is the chicken pesto sandwich. I would order the sandwich just to get the bread it's made on. Savory crepes, fresh berry crepe, their fries are awesome crispy and house seasoned. No beer or wine is served there. Local artists work decorate the walls along with some very cool metal signage with local themes. Sweet Pea's is one of my favorite cafes in SC area. I highly recommend it. But don't tell too many.🤐🤫

Breakfast burrito was so good. Had red onion, tomato, and potato. They charged me extra $2 for avocado though. Would've been great without it.

I never write a review for anything but after today I feel like I need to. I placed an order online so I could pick up and be on my way. I thought it would be faster and easier than dinning in but apparently not at this Chili’s. After I was notified that my order was ready I waited 5 minutes before going to pick up just in case the staff needed a few more minutes. However when I went to the pick up window there was nobody there. No problem, I don’t mind waiting 2-5 minutes for someone to be available to help but I do mind when I have to wait 12 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me!! Especially when I can see that the staff is just standing around in the kitchen on their phones. It’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t have been written this review if the person who finally gave me my order at least apologized for the long wait times but they didn’t. They acted like I was inconveniencing them for ordering. I work in food service too and know some days are hard but this was just ridiculous.

The food was great and our server was friendly and attentive. Good size servings and promptly prepared. Odd side note, a dishwasher who seemed mentally ill came out and started talking about voices telling him about god to us but left when I told him to. Our server told us the young man was told not to leave his station or talk to guests after being seen in the dining room. I appreciate that they are giving the guy a chance. It was just an awkward situation.

Worst meal that myself and a party of five have had in all of recent memory. Each dish that came out was disappointing and painfully bland and/or tough. We left with 75% of the food on each plate untouched as it was hard not to lose our appetites. The Diet Coke was good.

I never write reviews for places but this chilis deserves one. I don’t come here too often but when i do come here my experience is a 10/10. Our waiter who has served us the last few times- his name is Sam, is truly an angel on earth. He is so kind, patient, and his customer service is among the best i’ve seen in any restaurant. He was so kind to my partner and I and he helped us so much by answering any questions we had and having just a super helpful and caring attitude. In regards to the food, also 10/10. The cooks deserve some serious appreciation because for the first time in a long time I was trying to eat past full because it was so good haha. The atmosphere here is also super nice, the music isn’t too loud and there’s lots of open natural light. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience!

The food was okay and the service was a little slow. The sauces lacked flavor, the chicken and fries were okay, and the mac n cheese was too salty and not good. We waited for 5-10 minutes to get help at the to go counter. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing special. There were a lot of TVs in the bar area, but the space felt cramped in terms of seating and people.

I really enjoy going to Chili's because of the atmosphere service and the food is good even though it's not fancy or super fresh it is something that hit the spot and tends to feel like you had a good time getting out.

Brilliant quessadilla and taco. Love their food and value! The salsa bar is a real treat, especially the salsa Verde, my favorite! I might suggest turning the volume of the TV down with nobody watching and cleaning the hot sauce bottles. ;)

This is one of the many taquerias I go to. I have my favorites for sure and the things online from here are the super nachos with carne asada and the carne asada plate. They have a smooth red salsa that is mild and so good – perfect for dipping tacos into. They have a great menu and lots to choose from. They have a dine-in option or outside. It is never too crowded that you can’t get a seat. You can order online or call in your order, whatever works best for. They have several locations. Make sure you look them up and check out one of the locations!

This is always a place to stop when in the area. Great food and it comes out very quickly. One thing that I wish they would do is give a little bit of lettuce/cabbage for tacos for free. Especially after spending so much on my order. The food is really good and the place gets very busy.

Fast, fresh, and tasty Japanese cuisine. Greatt if you are in need a quick bite that is high quality. I was there for 30 minutes and was able to enjoy a miso soup and bento box. Would return.

Stop by for the convenient storefront, come back again and again for the top tier sashimi and understated but excellent hospitality. All our rolls and nigiri were mmmmmmm good. I have not been to Japan, but my companion has. Our meal was competitive on flavor and quality, and right here in Capitola. You know how miso soup can be a forgettable way to wait for your meal? Not here. Subtle and flavorful, make sure you enjoy some along with a memorable taste of Japan.

The food is good, but I have to say I’m not sure if it’s the owners but they like to hover over you when you eat. It’s very uncomfortable and strange. I think they’re weirded out by a single woman by their self probably won’t be back.

A pearl hidden away.. The place Is surrounded in darkness from the outside but once you're inside the light engulfs the place and brings a cozy atmosphere to the room. The room itself has simple decor that gives it a nice feel. The waiter and waitress were patient and thoughtfull when presented with questions regarding the sushi. Shortly after I anticipated a long wait but to my dismay it was brought swiftly. It was presented beautifully on a gaint planter. Throughout the meal we were checked up multiple times. The food itself was heavenly, I got the Dragon roll and the shrimp tempura (deep fried). The presentation was neat and the taste was a whirlwind of flavors and textures. The shrimp tempura had a nice crunch to it and mouth full of flavor coexisting with one another. I only wish they would have drizzled more sauce upon the rolls as some needed more than others. Overall, I expect myself to come here again as my first time was a great experience.

I typically don’t like to eat breakfast out as I prefer to make my own, but I tried this as I promised I’d take my wife to breakfast. The food is delicious!!! Thick, crispy bacon, delicious hash browns. Huge portions just like eating at grandmas table. Would highly recommend! This is a breakfast joint I’d gladly repeat over and over.

A quaint homebrew diner that you rarely find these days. Fantastic breakfast food and comfort food options. I was introduced decades ago and have been kept coming back ever since. I take my family and children there with me. They have fun coloring activities for my kids and even some kid themed food offerings.

Delightful little small business owner operated breakfast diner. Food was good and plentiful, coffee was hot and fresh and the service was great. We didn’t wait at all for a table and the other customers were all locals. They know!!

If you are looking for a home cooked meal, without being at home, this is your place. Staff is very friendly, and attentive. It is the real definition of "down home diner". Real family vibe, with real local conversations.

Run away far away!! My family came by on a Saturday afternoon and ordered two chicken skewers for the kids, one falafel plate and a gyro plate for the adults. After 10 minutes a cup of lentil soup we ordered for an appetizer came out. To call it lentil soup was a stretch, maybe the cook is from an isolated part of Greece where lentils are as rare as four leaf clovers. It was at best creamy broth with little flavor. I had a bad omen but everyone was starving and the food should be on the way I told myself. The place was not full of guests however the food took over 45 minutes to show up and the waitresses complained to us that we had no idea how a restaurant kitchen works!! The food was at best what I can get at a mall with little fuss and definitely much faster. Rather than comp the bill the cook came out and ripped and threw away the check. I recommend you do the same to any thought of coming to this restaurant.

The service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was anything but accommodating. She crowded three of us at a very small table and we were left there for quite a bit of time without asking if we were ready to order. It took about 20 minutes to finally get our food and at the time we were the only customers there. After two out of the three of us finally got our food, she then came back seconds later with the bill and asked us to pay already. Mind you, this is a sit down restaurant and none of us had even touched our food. She refused to split the bill and never showed us the receipt. So we all shoveled over money to pay the total and she came back with a handful of change. Then finally, our other plate of food came and we got no silverware to eat it with. She apologized for asking us to pay so early, but told us her shift was over. However, the whole time we were eating she was inside serving other customers and she was there working longer than we were there eating. The food wasn't that great either. We would have been happier eating at a McDonald's.

Ordered the chicken shawarma and it was merely okay. The chicken was okay, the rice was a bit dry like it had been sitting under heating lamps a while. The best part of the meal were the grilled vegetables. Meanwhile, in the falafel wrap we ordered, the falafel tasted too dry for my liking. The clam chowder was pretty good though.

While the restaurant seems understaffed, the waiter and the newly installed chef were terrific. The chef came out and personally introduced himself. When we asked about a Mediterranean dessert, he offered to make Kanafeh, a 25 minute process. What he didn't tell us is that the restaurant closed in 10 minutes. Not only did he stay by for another 40 minutes for us to eat and finish the dessert, but the fresh Kanafeh was delicious! Give it a try if you're in the area.

DONT GO HERE!!!!!! Overall experience I would give it a 3... but only because of the view. My husband ordered a seafood platter and I ordered calamari and fries. The waitress seemed scattered and our simple order seemed to overwhelm her. When we got our food, the fries were inedible, droopy and a sort of greyish color. The calamari was okay, edible at least. My husbands food was pretty much the same. We asked for tartar sauce that never came. Another server came by and gave my husband a refill of iced tea without any ice in it, so it was lukewarm. My "turkish" coffee was sediment that tasted like anise. I had to go ask for ice for my husband's tea and tartar sauce. When they came to give us the check and clear our plates, she asked how our meal was. I gave her an honest answer, she looked shocked and apologized saying it was only her second day and she was training someone else. There was no offer to bring us fresh fries or offer to comp part of our meal. All in all, we paid $42 for food we could have purchased at Long Johns Silvers10 times over and it would have tasted 10 times better. Got home and my husband had severe stomach problems. Prime property, so sad to waste in on this sad excuse for a restaurant.

As the first visitor of the New Year, I arrived early on that day. Unique location and less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. The waitress made me feel more than welcome while the kitchen was getting ready of operations in the morning. I'll definitely drop by again on my next visit to Santa Cruz!

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! Fantastic kebab and Turkish coffee, and the baklava is on point. We make a day trip down to Capitola just to eat here! Totally worth it every time.

Ordered a 10$ veggie bagel with pesto cream cheese and this is what I got. Overpriced, dry, and unflavored. Not to mention their sub-par coffee starts at 8$, which is absolutely mind-blowing. Defintely won't go back

An early morning craving for a beagle and a smoothie 😋 so I door dashed this place. It was definitely a good decision delicious 😋. I had a strawberry and banana 🍌 smoothie with a plain beagle and jalapeño cream cheese. Rich in flavor and the smoothie very refreshing for a day thats gonna be in the 80s. Check this place out!

One of the few surviving bagel places in the area, average service and product. The cost cutting measures are also pretty visible with the thin layer of cream cheese you'll get and the only napkin dispenser in the place hidden beside the register.

Toasted jalapeno bagel w cheddar cheese butter tomato and onion $5.50. (the veggie sandwich clearly is 4.45 on the board...Okay hope it's good. Turns out they are cutting food cost here. When finally received my cold bagel I got barely any tasteless margarine, one piece of cheese, an orange slice of 🍅 and a large handful of onions. The only thing they didn't screw up was the bagel part. It might've been good if they didn't screw up every other ingredient. Oh yeah and when I went to get a side of "butter" she was very reluctant to give it up, I had to show her the dry thing first... But I persevered, only to find there is no silverware! Basically the only way I would've wanted to write this more is if they put a gun to my head and made me write this. Anybody want some onions?

Server stared at my 15 yr old while he asked politely for each item for his burrito, never said a word in response . It looked pretty passive-aggressive to me, he had a bad attitude to a kid half his age. Then I asked for a bowl, got half the amount of meat you would expect because they were low on almost everything , they didn’t have beans , they didn’t have veggies, can’t give me more meat, I asked why they gave me attitude like they wanted to fight me. Really not enticing me to return. In the old days they would ask you to wait since they’re making more. This time felt like ‘just get out of here’, we are busy. It was 6-something PM . C’mon Seems everyone that posts a complaint gets circled back to write a comment again rather than addressing their customer service issues. Poorly handled, Chipotle. I saw the same comment to other recent reviews, basically a cop-out imo. Don’t just tell me to submit a new comment each time as your “solution” to a problem. That is insulting

So i walked in at 1045 doors were opened and was told to wait 5 min nobody was in shop but the workers ordered my veggie bowl to find out they didn't prep grilled veggies which is like the main part of veggie bowl then wanted new red sauce and they were out asked the Asian lady how dont u have any her response was we just didn't make it idk how u open doors without all your stuff what does staff do before u open they need to have everything ready at start of the day what is this left and didn't buy my bowl very frustrating

went to Chipotle here. Everything has gone downhill over the last couple of years. food tasted ok, but portion was small for my bowl. I made an online order and the order was missing ingredients. not sure if they were just out or had missed it. When we went inside, they'd already locked one door and started putting chairs up and they were still open for more than an hour. I also had to wait an extra 10min because the order wasn't ready yet, probably because they were busy closing early instead of serving customers.

Placed order pickup, arrived 3min after it was supposed to be ready. The lobby was empty and an absolute mess. Order was not ready and they began making it after I asked. Order was simple and still made 2 out of 3 items incorrectly.

The portions are not small but XS I would not recommend this place

Horrible service literally gave me half portions on everything the short black girl with bangs was mad rude and skimped on everything. This is why chipotle stock is down 30% the entire store was filthy too and it wasn’t even busy they just don’t clean

the chicken is not well cooked and the chips are always stale, been here a lot not just once’s. and i got over charged today i don’t remember it being that expensive $40 bucks for two bowls?!?!?? (maybe the girl at the register didn’t know what she was doing) last time i only remember paying 29, the price for these bowls are outrageous for the amount of portions you’re getting.

The chicken brie apple sandwich is to die for, made with fresh, local ciabatta bread, chicken grilled on premises and delicious sliced green apples. Prices are reasonable. I'm going to remember to come back to this place! PS: the latte was great too!

I absolutely love this place. It’s small and cute and very personal. My husband goes in every morning for a coffee. The cherry danish is absolutely to die for ! I’ve only ever been helped by one dark haired gentleman named Daniel and he was the kindest person I’ve dealt with in a long time,always has a smile on his face. Will absolutely recommend to friends and family.

A small coffee shop only a couple minutes from the beach, making it a great place to grab a coffee while you explore the area whether that's going to the beach or checking out the nearby stores. As well as drinks, they serve food and have some other local goods that work well for the beach. They have some outdoor seating as well if you want to take a break from exploring!

Update the Tri-tip Whaler is another fav and the creamy chicken pesto yummy!!! Great local hidden treasure! Got the chicken parm. And the apple brie chicken for my wife. So tasty! And under 10 bucks each. And you can order online!

Food is cheaply made and overpriced, which in itself can be forgiven, but the owner was audibly snarky towards his disabled employee in the back and also with his own customers while checking them out. The atmosphere is also surrounded with passive aggressive jabs at customers with his signs which ostensibly are just reminding customers its not fast food" which combined with his demeanor also seem to try and excuse his own slow service while elevating it beyond what it is. When asked for a "to-go" box for a sandwich which he offered to go, he handed us napkins and a paper sleeve leftover from him handling the pastries. All around cheap, overpriced food that makes the majority of its money from tourists who don't know any better and just see it as a quaint deli by the beach. I hope a better place takes its spot eventually.

Love love love this place. Customer service is great. Daniel, the owner, is so friendly and kind. The avocado toast is the bomb! The picked onions make it! Love that we have great local places to support!

Man working appeared to be owner was extremely rude. The restaurant was empty and still took 40 minutes for sandwich when we were told it would only take 20 and he yelled at my girlfriend when she just asked for an update on the food and made her cry which ruined our entire day. Wanted to branch out and try something besides LG meats Capitola which is an awesome establishment. Definitely regret going anywhere else and will stay on the other side of street.

McDonald’s serves the same thing at each restaurant every single time. It always tastes just the way it always has. That’s why you go to McDonald’s. No surprises. Same food, same taste. One of my favorite places.

Although the location is convenient for me to feed my kids, I usually dread coming to this place. 85% or the time I order, something goes wrong. Either they have my ice cream all melted, missing an item or the employee seems to have no knowledge of the order. I would definitely recommend the Quality Control Team to re-evaluate their training.

Stood at the counter for 10 minutes, the "manager" if you want to call her that wouldn't take my family and I 's order told me I had to do it on a kiosk and that she couldn't take our order at the register because "there's no menu on the register " and that they no longer accept cash! I think it was honestly b.s. I think she just didn't want to take the orders because there was 4 of us. But seriously no cash transactions whatsoever that's the stupidest thing that ive ever heard! I refuse to go back there ever again. Besides that they almost always screw up the food and the service obviously sucks. I'm never going back!

Not much to say except this McDonalds is better than all the others because it doesn’t have a drive-thru. As such you are forced to enter the restaurant where you can order your culinary delights on a 44” touchscreen, then sit and have your purchase delivered to your table. What service! What technology! What class!

Had no place to take my order so I had to learn their kiosk system it was a nightmare. If I wasn't so tired I probably would have walked out. Hate the idea that everything is going automated. Pretty soon I'll have robots cooking the burgers

Guilty pleasure once in a long while. McDonald's changed for the worse over the last couple years like so much else. Ordered the Double Big Mac and I must say it's wasn't half bad. This location gets busy, no drive through but it looked cleanish and the staff were niceish so the whole experience was Okayish.

The people who is working there is so nice and they have a lot options to do every order from the restaurant hamburgers

This is by far the best pizza available in our local area. Each pizza is carefully crafted by hand with toppings evenly distributed (unlike some places that just throw stuff on haphazardly). I have watched them being made, and each one is carefully assembled like a work of art. I order their Gluten-Friendly with the crust extra crispy—and it’s always perfect and delicious! Yum! 😋

Went two times in two weeks. Consistently great pizza both times. Definitely worth a try.

This is hands down the best vegetarian pizza I’ve ever had. Yes Pizza my Heart is great but Village Host has bubbly crunchy crust and the pieces are weighed down and soggy like PMH. The bottom is still hard holding up the Vege covered pizza! I’m obsessed w them. Little pricey but worth it as a treat. Cheese is great too! Always polite and cool people working too. More people need to know about them!

We were passing through and split one small pepperoni pizza and a large salad with ranch. The pizza was delicious. The crust was not too thick or thin and a bit crispy. It also had a hint of some herb flavor that took it up a notch, the sauce was flavorful and the pepperoni really tasty. It seems that a lot of pizzas I’ve gotten lately are tasteless so I really enjoyed this one. Plenty of cheese too. The salad was plenty big for two people and very fresh. Ranch dressing was good too. Plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside. Clean bathroom. Nice shopping center. Easy on and off Highway 1 too. Glad we stopped by.

Good pizza. Light and airy, I could literally see thru my pizza from side to side between the bottom layer of crust and the next layer up. Firm bottom crust but not burned. Similar to Round Table or Mountain Mike's pizza.

We were seated right away and our food came out quickly! The service was excellent, we were checked on frequently. The food was great as usual!

The portions were huge! Got the make your own pasta for $15. It was okay. Edible and inexpensive. The service was great! Waiter checked to make sure I was doing well. Wouldn’t go back but if you’re looking for okay pasta with HUGE portions, come here.

Very nice restaraunt. Clean and inviting. The music was very nice. The hostess and server was friendly and helpful describing the different soups they offer. The ahrimp appetizer was delicious. Lotts of food, we couldnt finish it all. Took plenty of food home. The chicken parm was slightly overcooked and hard but they kindly replaced it. The salad was also a great choice to start with.

There were plenty of open tables available, yet we were seated at one that hadn’t been cleaned. It was wiped down with a napkin only after we were already seated. Our food arrived before our drinks, and we had to request water after waiting for 20 minutes.

We started coming here more often because the service and food has been consistently good. However, tonight was just terrible, and it was clear that the server did not care about our table despite ordering appetizers, drinks, and entrees. Clearly, a woman and her child were less important than a 5-top. Our drinks were forgotten, appetizer plates were never delivered after reminding the server, our entrees were also forgotten, and the table kiosk had a low battery the entire time. Yet, the server waited until we had to pay to change it. I could not get a drink refill until we paid, which was over an hour wait. I was incredibly patient and understanding until I went to the bathroom and noticed all the servers standing around talking at their station. I realized then and there that we were not a priority whatsoever. I told the manager, and she gave a lackluster “sorry” before I left. We will spend our money elsewhere from now on. Luckily, there are many options in the area.

GUYSSSSSS after being abandoned by the universe and vehicular misfortune, Olive herself, the god of the garden, extended her arms of fettuccine warmly by providing the most decadent of feasts i’ve ever laid my mouth on. the breadsticks were as warm as a hug i wish my mother would give me and the Alfredo sauce dripped down my gullet with gusto by the ancient italian spirit. we took refuge in the care of our most beloved waiter, jose, who offered us refills a plenty of our delicious raspberry lemonade, soup, and breadstick. #highlyrecomend
