It was my bday & I asked my boyfriend to take me here. He won’t say no to BJs 😉 The food was really good the macaroni balls And the avocado Eggrolls with the Sriracha sauce was really good and then the ice cream that was good. The service was OK. I wasn’t impressed. They were a little slow and it wasn’t even packed.

What is this? 🤣 🤣 Maybe I’m missing something as an uncultured non American… Though my husband also thought it was a hoof and immediately/half jokingly started Googling sirloin. As humorous as the situation was to us, the meat was as bad as it looks. I ate all of it 'cos I paid for it, but if the steak had tasted even a tad bit normal, this wouldn’t have been a one star review. Even looking back at the photos I keep bursting out laughing at how it looks. The meat was cooked medium, not medium rare like we ordered so for a restaurant which is basically a glorified family restaurant with a nice looking bar... this tracks! The difference between my husband's sirloin steak and mine despite ordering the same dish was stark. So his was mediocre and mine was basically unacceptable. Except I couldn't really be bothered to ask for a new plate and prefer just not to return to restaurants that don't have good food. Although, I expect we simply got unlucky today since other times my husband has been here without me, he has supposedly gotten decent steak. But today both steaks were so tough that by the point I was done with my meal my hand hurt from trying to cut pieces off and my throat hurt from how hard and dry each piece was to swallow. The place has slightly upscale TGI Fridays vibes upon arrival. Overall, the food seems like general family restaurant level food. I imagine it'd be great to come with a crowd of work friends and get some drinks (we didn't try the alcohol so I have no clue if it's any good). We visited on a weekday for lunch which might explain why the crowd felt mostly senior rather than young. We had a sweet and polite waitress but nothing particularly noteworthy or nice about this place other than her. At one point, one male(?) staff member actually walked in front of me with me having to excuse them (when they weren't carrying anything or occupied with other customers etc.) when we ended up blocking each other, which I've never even have happen at a random mom-and-pop so that felt really weird. It's a huge space with super high ceilings and it's very airy which is great, and I like that they have 2-person booths, although we moved to a bigger booth since there weren't many people when we arrived. The A/C is always cranked too high as per my husband who has tried the joint a few times now. Despite the meal deals meaning it seems like a good deal to eat out, I'd rather just get something from the supermarket and make myself and friends food than waste my money here. I don’t intend to return.

I have to acknowledge that BJ’s restaurant has one of the best happy hours and special offers. I have enjoyed it few times. It typically last until 7 pm, which better than 6 pm. The service has been great. The Sun Patio is fantastic for bigger parties.

We normally order takeout or delivery. Decided to give dine in a try. Left midway through meal after a horrible experience. One of the waiters was extremely rude to me in front of my kids. Paid full price for untouched main course. Decent thing would have been to not charge us for that. Congratulations for loosing a customer for life.

Overall: food is either too salty or too bland. Burgers were missing lettuce, tomato, dressing, pickles. Pasta was tasteless and depressing. Don't eat here if you have high blood pressure or heart issues. Oh, gosh. Where do I even start? This is my first time at BJ's, and if we never come back again, it will be too soon. We ordered kids' mini burgers, thinking they were so cute. But what did we get? The saddest pieces of bun and patty thrown into a box. Where was the promised lettuce, tomato, and dill pickles? We got none of that. This is insulting to kids everywhere. We got the fries though. And those were FAR too salty. Is this how BJ's wants to feed children now? Carbs and protein and an over abundance of salt? This is setting our children up for heart disease. We also ordered a kids pasta (penne with chicken in alfredo sauce). AND LET ME TELL YOU, this...tastes like the frozen pasta I can buy at Walmart for $1. The penne had no taste and the chicken was absurdly salty. The mashed potatoes were also ridiculously salty. Cardiovascular disease, anyone? We ordered an Italian chicken parmigiana pasta, and again, the pasta looked like something from a frozen pasta meal from Walmart for $1. It was really, really sad. So sad, it's actually kinda comical. Honestly, the Walmart would have been a better value. It would have been tastier and way cheaper. I suppose the one saving grace is the pizookie. I've never tried one before so I was a little excited to try it. And after disappointment after disappointment in our orders today, we flipped over the pizookie to find the saddest looking baked...thing. It looked pitiful. But you know what, it was probably the best tasting thing we've had all night. I don't have any comments on the service and atmosphere since we ordered for pick-up, but they seemed nice enough.

Our waitress, Amelia J, was the best! Amelia had the greatest attitude and really connected with us during our visit there. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions we had regarding the menu with ease. She never stopped smiling and truly seemed like she enjoyed her job there. She made us feel welcome from the jump and made our experience that much better! Thank you Amelia for spreading such joy!

Food is decent but really heavy, service is decent. I’d never come here on my own and only come with friends. Pizookie (cookie pizza with ice cream) is a must and generally what they’re known for. Prime steak Sunday can be hit or miss. I liked the sides more than the steak. The food is ok.

Shrimp lettuce wraps, were excellent. Lots of shrimp pieces, came with 4 lettuce cups and was served table side. Prawns and honeyed walnuts were also excellent. Still crispy, not too sweet and lots of walnuts. Sauteed string beans were great. Savory and cooked just right. Service was interesting, took a while to take our order. But the food made up for it.

This restaurant offers delicious food. Very fast service and a great selection, also vegetarian. The ambiance is great too. Warmly recommended for lunch or dinner.

The lunch specials are so worth it! I've probably tried like 90% of the menu already.

General Tzao chicken was my favorite thing on the menu but everything was delicious liked the chow mien, fried rice, Kung Pao chicken, and wonton soup. Free parking. It was all delicious and had more to take along with us. They can accompany large parties here and also great location.

The food and service are both great! There are plenty of good vegetarian options if you really want those, the portions are pretty large, and the restaurant itself is very clean. The parking lot has adequate space and the wait is unlikely to be very long. Overall, it's a good place to get a pretty nice dinner during the week.

Great American Chinese food that is made with high quality ingredients. The setting is formal but you can come dressed however you wish. I personally prefer the other location 30 minutes from the Cupertino location as it has a more appealing decor. I order the honey walnut chicken and tangerine beef everytime I visit. I would also highly recommend the spicy tofu if you are a vegetarian or tofu lover. The plates are family style so be ready to share! Definitely worth the money even though it is a little on the higher end side. Give it a try! The fortunes I've found out also come true :D

What an experience! We went for mother's Day and had not been to a Benihana for about 20 years. Our chef was Mike and he was phenomenal! His skills were excellent and his personality and humor has us laughing and smiling the whole time. The food was so delicious. The fired rice, the best I've ever had. The prawns and steak cooked so perfectly. I would suggest reservations though. We were seated at 1:00 (Saturday) and shortly after that all of the other tables were filled up with patrons and cooks. When we left an hour and a half later every table was packed.

We order 2 lunch boat With the boat it's half sushi type food and half hibachi Soup-tasted like beef consommé with fried onion 3.5/5 Salad. Ginger dressing 3.5/5 California roll 4/5 Sashimi 4/5 Salmon 4/5. Crispy perfect not dry Filet mignon cubes 4/5 Tempura 4/5 Fried rice disappointing 3/5. For all the cooking flair. Garlic butter smelled great while cooking. But end product fell flat. Overall it's ok at 4 stars but not as spectacular as I had hoped. I've had better teppennaki. (In Tacoma) and other places. Prob try few other places They gave us free ice cream for our anniversary!

Karina is an amazing chef, the food was delicious. She was full of energy, fun, and entertaining. Renee's customer service was great. She was very friendly, stayed on top of requests, and helpful on the new reward program.

We were looking for a late-night spot and found Benihana. What I really appreciated was that even though they were about 10 minutes from closing, they still welcomed us in. We started with the onion soup, which was excellent—simple but flavorful. The salad, on the other hand, felt a bit dry and the dressing didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The fried rice was solid, especially with the chicken mixed in, though I wish it had just a touch more flavor. For entrées, I ordered the lobster tail and it was amazing—perfectly cooked and buttery. We also tried the trio (beef, shrimp, and chicken) served with noodles, which was a unique and tasty experience. I’d never had noodles at a teppanyaki restaurant before, and it was definitely a highlight. The veggies were fresh and delicious—especially the zucchini, which was cut and cooked just right. Customer service was excellent all around. Our chef, Victor, was fantastic—great energy, skilled, and really made the experience memorable.

The Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp were both cooked live with garlic butter, decent, but nothing standout. The Egg Fried Rice was average, while the Yakisoba had undercooked noodles and lacked flavor. The Benihana Onion Soup was bland. The Spicy Chicken Gyoza was okay but could’ve been steamed more for softness. Shrimp Tempura was crispy, not oily, and well done. Green tea ice cream was good with subtle flavour. Overall, the food felt overpriced for what was served, but it’s worth visiting once for the live chef fire show experience.

Daniel is very friendly, explained the menu thoroughly and had great recommendations. Our chef Viktor was great! Our family enjoyed our time in Benihana and will definitely be back! Food is cooked as you request it! Thank you 😊

I’ve always loved the food and service at Alexander’s but what made this visit stand out was the experience of reserving a private room. I highly recommend doing that if you have a larger group. It made the whole dinner feel extra special. Our server was incredible. She never wavered, even with a big party and lots of moving parts. She was calm, kind, and totally on top of everything. You could tell she genuinely cared. The whole night went so smoothly because of her. Just a great experience all around.

The service was probably the best of stars. Servers were super attentive although for an Asian visitor it was a little much for me. We opted for the lunch set. Salmon tartare was good and the crab popcorn was sizeable. Opted for a petite sirloin and it was too much for me still 😆the only downside was the creamy spinach - I thought it was was too creamy and drowned the spinach.

Delicious food, excellent service and great ambience. I got the 3 course tasting menu with the Caesar Salad, Filet Mignon with side of mashed potatoes and the banana bomb for dessert. The salad was light and refreshing with different textures. The Filet Mignon was juicy. The banana bomb was so-so. They also gave a bread basket in the beginning which was delicious. The last thing they served was cotton candy. I wasn't q big fan of this.

I was absolutely shocked at the poor service received this evening. I used to be a server for like 15yrs and this entire wait staff needs to be retrained. They were short, rude, un accommodating, came off miserable and like speaking to us was bothering him. 3 different waiters kept interrupting our conversations constantly without being able to read cues of when to check in and when to circle back later. The wait staff killed the entire vibe. If you are going to have Walmart quality service drop the Ritz prices

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The Wagyu A5 was next-level—cooked perfectly, super tender, and just melted in my mouth with crazy rich flavor. The environment was classy and elegant, real nice vibes that made the whole meal feel special. Our waiter, cool dude, was on it, super friendly, and kept everything smooth.

The food was very delicious. I loved the steak and the bread! The chef also gifted me a smoke salmon puff to start with. I really loved the service as well.

We were a group of six and tried a variety of dishes. The food was average — nothing stood out — but the service was quite poor. Our server kept coming over to ask if we needed anything, but every time we asked them to clear the dirty plates, they would take just one and then disappear without returning. The table stayed messy for a long time, which really affected the overall experience. Not somewhere I’d be in a hurry to return to.

Food: Never been disappointed by them so far. This time we try one of their new menu, the loco moco fried rice. The flavor is nice but will be a bit too salty with the sauce, so you need to be careful. The burger is great! Psss and their appetizers are great too! Service: it’s regular and standard across the chains. Ambiance: casual and suitable for friends and family gatherings at a late time in Bay Area!

It’s casual and easy restaurant, walking distance from hotel. Plenty of parking space though can get a bit busier at night. Seeing crowd even during lunch & dinner. I went there to get an American burger to go after my workout; it tastes great! And back to this restaurant for dine in lunch.

The high ceilings make the space feel open and inviting, and everywhere you look there are unique touches — metal dog sculptures, framed photos of dogs and horses, and a beautiful back-lit bar that showcases the full lineup of drinks. The patio is also a great option if you want to sit outside and enjoy some fresh air. Now for the food: Black & Blue Burger — Cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The blue cheese adds a nice tang that pairs perfectly with the bacon and juicy patty. It’s one of my favorite burgers here — rich, savory, and super satisfying. Chicken Tortilla Soup — Classic comfort food. The broth is full of flavor with just the right amount of heat, loaded with tender chicken and topped with crispy tortilla strips and fresh avocado. Always a solid choice. Butter Cake — This is the star of the meal. Served warm, with a slightly crisp top and a rich, buttery center that melts in your mouth. Paired with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries — it’s easily one of the best desserts I’ve had anywhere. Bonus — they even have a full dog menu if you’re bringing your pup 🐾 Consistently great food, beautiful design, and a place I always enjoy coming back to.

Lazy dog is one of my favorite places to eat for many occasions; and I used to visit weekly after paddle boarding nearby at the stevens creek reservoir. But I am so sad that the sesame crusted ahi tuna is no longer available. That was my absolute favorite dish! Hope you all bring it back!

Food was great. And our service was great. The waitress i dont remember her name. She was an older lady. But she was very nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. She was also very attentive and just checking in on our table. She was also super friendly and nice to our kids. Which is a big plus. Thank you.

We had breakfast at this place when we stayed at the Juniper Hotel. Ordered Egg white Scramble, Juniper Omelette and coffee. Coffee was smooth and strong, not watered down at all. Food was just average, nothing stood out. Service was lukewarm, ambience was ok. After our food was served, nobody asked us if there’s anything else we need/require. We had to call the attendant’s attention to ask for water and more coffee, considering there were only 2 tables (including ours). Free parking.

I ate breakfast here three times, not really out of desire, but so I could work while my co-traveler continued to sleep. The prices are obviously assuming that you are expensing it to Apple, because $30 for a mediocre breakfast and a coffee felt high, even for a hotel breakfast. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either, particularly considering the quality of the food in the area. It’s convenient but that’s about all it has going for it.

I came here on a Friday breakfast with a group of 3 and it wasn't busy at all so we were seated immediately! One thing that I'll point out is that the service here is pretty slow and the portion sizes are quite small. The saving grace is that the ambiance is super fancy being in a hotel -the place is really pretty and I liked just coming to chill and catchup on life. FOOD: I got the Avocado toast - the size was small so it didn't feel super fulfilling but the dish was super refreshing and I enjoyed the light cheese but also the tomato sauce on the chilly avocado. I also tried the breakfast sandwich - it wasn't super special but the taste was what I expected - the omelette here was also just a normal omelette and tasted blander than other places. The food did feel pretty healthy.

The katsudon poutine is neither katsudon nor poutine. It's sweet potato katsu curry disco fries with gari (sushi ginger). (Tonkatsu is fried pork cutlet. Chicken katsu is fried chicken cutlet. Katsudon is fried pork or chicken cutlet on a bowl of rice covered in beaten egg and/or some kind of sauce. Katsu curry is fried pork or chicken cutlet with curry, usually with carrots, white potatoes, corn niblets, and pickles - not gari. Poutine is fries and cheese curds covered in gravy. Disco fries are fries covered in gravy and melted cheese.) That said, it was tasty, albeit very dry. The kitchen supposedly closes around 8:43pm but they turned someone away at 8:38.

The new chef is terrible. Had an attitude, all of the food is bite-size portions for an expensive price. The food was incredibly bland. I used to love this place it was amazing now it terrible.

Very convenient spot for breakfast when staying at the Juniper hotel. I tried their continental breakfast and the Greek yogurt parfait. Both were really good and reasonable portion. Service is excellent.

This place runs hot and cold. The best time is in the morning because that is when Jeannie works. All other times, I have consistently had my food dropped off at the table and was promptly forgotten about. Jeannie made breakfasts a 5 star... all other visits were 3 star.

If you can get past the price aspect of Arya, the food itself is delicious. I’m not quite sure what the influences are for Persian food, but other than the usual Mediterranean flavors of kabobs, hummus, and eggplant which by the way is amazing, there were dishes like the mushroom ravioli that had sauce similar to Italian Vodka sauce and a curry dish that was perfect. I’ve heard the buffet is a great way to try many of their dishes so will come back to try that one day.

By far the best persian food you can find in South Bay. The persian salad was super fresh and refreshing. 🥗 The Soltani dish : 🥩 The koobide stew was well spiced, it was not fatty and you couldn't smell the meat. The Barg Stew was prepared very well, although I asked for well done(they offered me the medium because they believe the meat is thin), it was juicy enough and well cooked.

Very good Persian restaurant with top grade kebabs. I usually get the beef koobideh with mint yogurt to mix with the rice. Then polish it off with the rose ice cream for dessert. I sometimes see promos for entertainment, but unfortunately never came by on the right date to experience one. Overall would recommend for private or business/ group visits!

Delicious dishes! Started off with warm flat bread with butter/dipping sauce and pomegranate meatballs. Entrees- Soltani, chicken shish kebab, beef koobideh and Fesenjon. Finished off with mango pana cotta and pistachio cheesecake. Coming back to try other items.

Nice ambience for business and family dinner outing. Serving middle eastern food like Hammus, falafel, kudos and varieties of kebab like food , chicken, beef, seafood and lamb serve with saffron and basmati rice. Ordered a stew lamb shank with rice.. it was really good but too much rice to consume. The meat is perfectly cooked till tender ! lots of wine to chose from too.. reasonable price .

I had the best Kabab Koobideh of bay area in this restaurant. So delicious and juicy and yummy. You must order the tahdig with 3 different stews on it to experience the variety of tastes of Iranian food. The Fesenjoun stew was incredible and also you have to try the Loobiapolo as I ordered and it was fabulous.

First time eating at this restaurant for an event so dinner was served buffet style. Good food. Dessert plate was yummy Belly dancing was awesome and live DJ music was a bonus

Found it on onebite. Maybe its just an off day. I ordered a pizza I order at many other restaurants: cheese, jalapeno, pineapple, anchovy. The anchovy was not cooked, warm and very oily. It was gross and I left. Not worth $25. I had to keep repeating my order 3 times to the young girl and it seemed she was not all there. I told her no ice with the soda, put ice with the soda. She also kept touching her hair, drinking, touching customers food without washing her hands. Front of house is not sanitary at all. For the first time ever I almost threw up from how gross the pizza came out. I would not recommend this place. Disappointed.

This is the third time l've had Cicero's delivered to me. This time I just got a large cheese pizza with a side salad. But l've had the veggie and meat toppings before and I love how finally diced everything is. They always spread the toppings nicely over the pizza. When I got my cheese pizza, it wasn't piping hot, but still a solid cheese pizza. I put a few slices in the air fryer and preferred the slices that were not warmed up. I'm curious as to what the pizza is like when in the store. A large cheese pizza and side salad delievered was $48 which is just crazy to me lol but I guess that's the times we're in. I used Foodie Earth for delivery, so even if you're far from Ciceros but still in the bay, you'll be able to get it!

Best thin crust pizza around! Fresh and perfectly cooked toppings are always loaded to the edges, and the crust is always crispy. This visit we started with the Chick Pick and added bell peppers and garlic. I don’t think I’ve ever complemented bell peppers on pizza before, but these were perfectly diced and tender but still with a bite. Cicero’s Special is always good; I always love how fresh the olives taste. Highly recommend this place if you love crispy thin crust pizza!

I am so surprised that I really loved this pizza! The reason why I’m saying this is because I am so acclimated to eating the most delicious pizza in New York City that nothing ever compares to it. This pizza is so delicious. I loved everything about it, the spices, the sauce, the ingredients and the crispy crust. It was quite delicious Now let me tell you about the owner’s daughter who greeted me with such a big smile and was so gracious, and she impressed me as always treating everybody like family I will definitely go back I highly recommend Cicero’s Pizza

Did an online order of the No Meat Treat pizza and I have to say it was yummy. The pizza looks a little darkish for some reason and I did feel it was perhaps a bit burnt but no, it tasted perfect. Quite enjoyed the thin crust and how it is loaded with veggies - just the perfect thin crust that I like. I regularly order Thin Crust from the local Dominos and there’s is not bad but after trying Cicero today, I don’t think I will be going ANYWHERE else for a pizza now (except if it is a Neapolitan pizza). Kudos, team. Stay this way 👍

I just went here for my 3 year anniversary with my girlfriend. The service was spectacular, and the food was astounding. The chef paid us a visit and was very curious about our opinions on the food. He admitted to being fairly new and wanted to get an opinion on the dishes composition and overall quality. He was quite humble and very pleasant. I will continue to come here as long as it as wonderful as it was tonight.

The food was excellent. as was the wine. Unfortunately, I was dressed in jeans, TN Vols tshirt and sneakers. I had helped my daughter clean her house all day and this was an impromptu dinner with a friend and I live too far away to go home to change. The waiter treated me different as soon as I walked in door and that continued through the entire meal. Apparently he didn't feel that I belong.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. The only person who was kind and amazing to me was Jesus one of the bus boys. Otherwise service was less than poor, super disrespectful. Only thing I ate and enjoyed was the bread and I can go somewhere else to eat bread. Food did not taste authentic (considering I am Italian I'm sure I know how things are made and should taste). Overpriced for what you get. It's just very generic food. Not an Italian restaurant.

Eating excellent food, or just sitting at the bar and having wine after dinner, makes you feel like you are in Europe instead of Cupertino. Their wine selection is excellent and the food is wonderful. You would never know that this gem of a restaurant is hidden in this strip shopping center.

I went to this place on 10/4 around noon time for lunch with 4 of my colleagues. There was only one other table occupied in this restaurant. The three of us ordered "Fish of the day". The fish tasted gross and I couldn't eat it more than 2 bites. After an hour I had upset stomach confirming my doubt about the stale fish. Another colleague who had fish with me also reported the same condition later that afternoon. I am not going back there again and would like to even claim back the high price that I paid for it. I don't recommend this place to anyone until they report to have improved the QA. Horrible experience!

not sure what happened to this place. This used to be my favorite restaurant to go to whenever we had out of town guests...now it is tasteless food.... I had caprese salad today..it was made with unripe tomatoes, pesto had no taste.... my wife oredered Caesar salad, she did not finish even 1/4 of it and pushed it away...too bad, sad to lose one of my go to places. Service is till pretty good....but they have forgotten, it is all about the food.

First time last night and absolutely loved the food. I have driven by this area for years, but never noticed this restaurant until a friend took a group of us here. I would definitely return, although the meals were pretty expensive.

First time trying Azuma and it was a nice atmosphere. The service was good and they gave us some beginner chopsticks. The food was okay. The rolls were decent, the chicken karaage was good but dry. The tonkatsu I had was crispy, but dry. Maybe it was an off day, but try out this to make your own opinion.

Decent Japanese restaurant that has been in business for many years. Good variety of Japanese dishes with ample portions. Mostly authentic recipes and ingredients. I like that you can order traditional Japanese meals as well as sushi.

I took a pick up order. The lady was a bit rude, I really fell that I was disturbing. I was very disappointed by the rolls, the avocado was black. There are big, too much rice, not good pieces of fish. I even got a piece of hard plastic in one of the maki. I will not eat there again.

Very generous cuts of fish on their sushi rolls! Great value for the quality. I recommend the Under The Sea roll - this was my favorite and had a good blend of flavors. A hefty roll! The Double Roll is also a great option for those who enjoy simplicity and one kind of fish in particular. The table shared the Beef Sukiyaki, which is on the sweet side. Very flavorful and packed with umami! I enjoyed this a lot. A good contrast from the sushi we ordered. I also tried the Escolar Nigiri, which was a thin cut. The quality was decent and the fish was fresh.

I’m really disappointed about my experience here. I’ve never been here before and I’ve been telling a friend of mine I want to check it out because it looks so fun and lovely. When we first walked in, everything was fine until we sat at the bar. One of the bartenders asked for my ID and for some reason he didn’t believe that it was valid. He told me to bring a passport and if the bouncer accepted it then I would be allowed in. I said sure, I will come back with my passport. I drove home with my friend to grab my passport and brought it back to this location. The manager and bartender accepted me and we were able to find a table. We began talking to this lovely woman and were starting to have a good time. Then all of a sudden the same manager who let us in came back and said they do not accept the form of identification I had…which they literally requested me to bring. I was so excited to check out this place, it’s been on my bucket list. I’m very flattered that they think I’m under 21, but realistically I do not look 20 nor 19. This whole experience made me very sad, I did not expect this to happen. It looked so fun and the reviews were so good! I truly wish I had a better experience for my first time there :(

The prime rib was great and generous. Also enjoyed the artichoke soup. The vegetables tasted frozen. This restaurant is next to a public 9 course golf course. Enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds use the feeder by the window.

A little slice of old school Cupertino. Especially for us that grew up in the area and were active at Blackberry farm. Old school California size portions - I.e. very generous for the price you pay and you still get your soup/salas with your entree. Example - that seafood chowder has giant cuts of salmon in it. Food was good, I enjoyed my chicken parmigiana! The owner is super nice. Don’t go here expecting it to be super snazzy, retro, or trendy. Go here for the relaxing ambiance overlooking the golf course, pull up a glass, chill, and enjoy a peaceful slice life out an increasingly hustle-based world.

First time coming to this location since the original owners sold. The originals were very much so New York style pizza and the old owner was incredibly nice so I love going here years and years ago. I gave the new look a try and while I would not describe this as New York style pizza, it is still very solid in its own right. The young man working the counter was polite and helpful, the prices were okay in the menu options were rather robust. Settled on a pepperoni pizza and was pleasantly surprised by how well they did the portions. Great amount of cheese, pepperoni, and the crust was tasty. Worth checking out if you want a no frills pizza.

Genuinely the best place I have accidentally stopped at. The pizza was so delicious and taste so fresh and homemade. Kids like their cheese pizza. They said it's better than Costco. Came here to pick up a pre-ordered pizza for a potluck around 11:30 am on a Sunday while family waited in the car. The cashier was on the phone speaking softly which didn't sound like he was taking an order. After a while a girl sitting at the table doing her makeup finally ask if I was picking up an order and got up to give it to me. It's really "home style" here. 😂 I was the only one in line. Service was awful and seem unsanitary.

We ordered takeaway and very impressive. We opted for the thin crust option, which was perfect. We modified the order on the website and all was correct, then delivered to us in around 30 minutes. The pizza was really well presented and packaged. The knots we ordered also were delicious. We ordered the medium for 2 and the knots, which was plenty. The paneer pizza is the way to go! Looking forward to ordering again! 🍕

good pizza at a fair price, the super friendly service and fast speed makes this place a 5/5 but for the food itself and the price its a 4/5. The normal crust is quite thick already so be careful when going for extra thick. Sauce is very good here as well.

Thursday night dine-in:(~6.30 pm) - Ordered Baja Shrimp taco platter for entree and Chocolate Lava cake with Vanilla icecream(3$+) - The Shrimp tacos were flavourful and crispy, the soft taco is not very intact and got messy, yummy though. The 2/3 taco platter comes with a side, I picked half and half fries, regular and chile lime option. The chile lime fries were better. - The dessert was great, wish they’d put the vanilla on top instead of providing as a side option, it’d have been perfect. I skipped the seasonal berry. - The tables were lil sticky, everything else was great, like the heaters etc. Also, the tipping starts at 18% when you pay, & the kinda waited on the side as we tip, so felt a little pressured to pick that 18%😏

Reliably fresh seafood prepared with sufficient flair. Plenty of choices to appeal to a wide variety of seafood preferences. Prices are still affordable; we ordered 2 appetizers to share (the calamari wasn't the best and blackened brussel sprouts had very tough stems), which added to the tab. Otherwise the entrees were mostly in the $20's. For entrees, we had lobster tail (not pictured, reasonably good but small), blackened cod (good), sushi plate and fish tacos. The waiter corrected his mistake with my sweet potatoes fries order with grace and expediency 👍 We enjoyed a nice family birthday celebration. At the time we ordered our food, it sounded like they would've offered a slice of birthday cake, but we didn't order dessert, and they didn't offer in the end. The outdoor seating was plentiful, well laid out, and very pleasant - heater lamps were available. Lots of people with their dogs present. Since we didn't see a single review that indicated dogs were allowed, we didn't bring our pooch. Wish we had knwon. So I'm mentioning this in case you wish to bring your pet!

A very nice restaurant in the Main Street area of Cupertino serving fresh seafood in different culinary styles. The menu tells you where the seafood was sourced. The salmon and yellowtail hand rolls (sushi) were very bursting with flavors and very delicious. The fish in fish and chips were surprisingly tasty with a very crispy crust. Everything tasted fresh. Service was a bit slow but that might be because we sat outside and they get pretty busy during the lunch hour. Price was average in the Cupertino area.

We had a great dinner here. Service was great and they let us sit at the patio with a dog. Food was better than I expected and not too expensive. The seabass tacos are good. The shrimp tacos are fried, not fresh.

We had a great experience at Pacific Catch with the whole family. We sat outside. They have lots of outdoor seating. It was a nice sunny day (the metal table was hot until the umbrella was put up). It was nice and cool under the umbrella. They have a great assortment of drinks, non alcoholic and alcoholic. I enjoyed the sparkling blood orange lemonade. We got the guaca-poke as an appetizer to share. It was a favorite by the table. I got the two fish taco plate: One with the crispy cod and the other with the Chilean sea bass. The cod could have had more sauce. I preferred the Chilean sea bass because of the spices they put on it. You can tell all the seafood is freshly made. The entrees come with a side. I got chips and salsa for my side. The salsa is chunky and more like pico de gallo without cilantro. My husband got the lime and chili fries which were apparently delicious. They also offer sweet potato fries. For our little one we got chicken tenders and fries but the chicken tenders are fried like the cod which is unfamiliar to him so he didn't want to eat it. (I ate it at home). So heads up if you have a picky kid. Our server was very nice and also attentive. I even think she was taking care of most of the outdoor tables. She definitely helped with creating a great experience. We enjoyed our lunch and would come back.

Pacific Catch is mostly known for their fish, but I really enjoyed the Korean BBQ! The steak was tender and juicy and the sides were a great accompaniment.

Classic Cantonese restaurant in Cupertino, possibly one of the largest Chinese places in the area. They have so many tables that it’s easy to make a reservation or find a table even on a weekend night, even for a larger group. Service was very attentive. Price is in the higher end but they offer dishes that use exotic and/or expensive ingredients that you don’t normally see in a smaller-scale Chinese restaurant. We tried their chicken and pork soup, Peking duck, steamed mullet, steak with morel mushrooms, lobster rice porridge, pea shoots with egg tofu and mushrooms, and pumpkin and shrimp coated with salty egg yolk. Everything was delicious. We had dinner there this time, but their large selection of dim sum is also worth trying. They also gave us complimentary sweet red bean tapioca soup and mango pudding for desserts. This restaurant has become our go-to place if we are in the mood for upscale Cantonese cuisine.

It's really huge... It was a giant Chinese restaurant with a banquet hall. They caught live king crabs. In fact, there were many crabs in the aquarium, and they gave us a choice, but they didn't catch the king crabs themselves. Ha.. Anyway, they brought king crab, showed it to us, cooked it right away, and brought it to us. Not all the legs were cooked evenly, but they were fresh, so I enjoyed them. Because the meal is really huge, I recommend that at least eight people go to together. The price of king crab is calculated at the market price and they didn't charge corkage for two bottle of wines. I recommend it because it's a place worth visiting at least once.

FOOD food was okay. personally i think it needs some flavor (and salt). SERVICE we ordered a set (like a combo) and a plate of walnut shrimp but they did not serve us our walnut shrimp so we ended up canceling it. they also did not serve us our dessert (which was included in the set) until we reminded them to. ENVIRONMENT VERY COLD. it is FREEZING inside. huge breeze blowing overhead. bring a jacket if youre easily cold.

My family & I visit this gorgeous restaurant with amazing service at least 5-6x a year. It’s a slight trek for us coming from South SJ but it’s totally worth it every time. Their food is absolutely scrumptious & their prices are very reasonable. It’s by far our fave dim sum spot in the Bay Area. Can’t recommend Grand Dynasty enough!

Dined here for lunch for 4. We were missing a plate and asked for it, waitress keeps arguing our ticket shows 3 people even after we told her we clearly have 4. Food wise, we ordered the usual dim sum treats like Ha Gau, Shu Mai ..etc. most of the food was like warm. Rice roll shrimp have sat in the cart for awhile since it was cold, over cooked and sticky. Ordered chicken wing which was cold and soggy. Shrimp ball was hot but overall inconsistent. Decoration was great and clean. Price was on the high side. 18% service charge included regardless and the owner has a plaque explaining it's to improve employee cost of living?? Why not pay your employees more? If you have demand great atmosphere but want poor service and low quality food, this is the best place to dine!

We love carts Dim Sum! The place is very big, and while the wait was long, it was totally worth it. They have a great variety of Chinese small plates, mostly steamed dumplings. The service was quick, and we got to try everything we wanted. We also ordered some noodles from the menu, which were great too!

Had not been here for years. Ordered full slab to go with two sides($27.99), no corn muffins. Had to purchase separately at the price of $2.99 each, too expensive. The short ribs were kind of dry and tough. Unfortunately, not as good as I had remembered and CP is low!

This is a great restaurant that is a pay-at-the-counter type. Makes it easy if you are going with a group of friends and don't want to worry about who pays for what at the end of the meal. Finger licking ribs, nice burgers, good tater tots. Great for families and there are TVs for the latest sports to watch. Beer and wine are available also.

Great BBQ Brisket Sandwich: Willy's is not exactly like being in Texas, but, for this part of California, it ain't bad at all! Billed as a Texas BBQ house, it is close to some of the places in Austin I've visited. The environment isn't as good as the food. There is a chow line from the door to place your order and then you get seated in what feels like a barn (big open seating area) and wait for the flashing little drink coaster to glow with your order is ready notification. You then go to the Pick-up window to get your food. Self serve drink machines. What is lacking in the ambiance, is more than made-up-for with the food! I am a big fan of their BBQ Beef Brisket. Of special note is there house label BBQ sauce coming in two forms: hot and really hot. I highly recommend their sauce. Yes, I visit Willy's often and will continue to do so.

As a Texan I was skeptically going here but it was in front of my hotel and I was hungry. Boy was I surprised it was delicious, and they had Shiner Bock on tap! Not the best BBQ I've ever had but for a homesick Texan this totally did the trick.

Ordered pulled pork, sausage link, salad. Worse food. Gross sausage. Soggy meat. Terrible salad. $22 of garbage, which I could not eat. People at the other tables left their food too. This place is a real awful trap! This does not remind of Texas. The food here is awful and gross. Disgusting food.

There's nothing like Texas brisket and this place is no exception. This is coming from someone who grew up in California so there are no prejudices there. The patties for the burgers are excellent but the burgers are mostly lackluster. This is a popular place for Apple and Seagate employees during lunch and there is always a lunch line.

ribs, brisket, and chicken all were cooked well with good smoke flavor and seasoning. the side selections of beans, fries, and corn muffin were too sugary, dried and hard, and dry. the sauce was bland. the multiple times of visiting this establishment has demonstrated a consistency in food service and preparations.

Top marks for quality and freshness. The fish scoops were just a tad on the smaller side. It's nice that there is no charge for seaweed. This place will do well being so close to Apple, but it's worth a visit in the increasingly crowded poke bar market.

Pokeworks is pretty good! The fish is really tender and the toppings are numerous. The atmosphere is really nice but it is really bright in the early evening. My only problem is that their small and large for the rice bowl have the same amount of rice. The only difference is more scoops of fish.

The poke was actually amazing. Haven't had this good poke in a while. Pokeworks is amazing because they also give you a TON of fish unlike most other poke places (other places are super stingy with their fish), but Pokework doesn't hold back on the quantity of fish and they also go all out with Masago. Honestly Pokeworks is 100% the best poke I've ever had and if you're reading this review, you absolutely MUST go there.

The fish was fresh and there was a good variety of toppings to choose from. The rice reminded me of sushi rice, different than the rice of other nearby poke places. The portion was also fairly small, but not tiny. The place looks very cool inside, it has a nice minimal aesthetic.

Love this place. The fish is fresher than typical poke places and the shrimps are whole. Moreover, there are many delicious sauces. I tried the Wasabi one and instantly fell in love with it. I highly recommend this place if you'd like to have a healthy meal.

Amici's is dear to me since they offer gluten free pizza & manage to make it pretty palatable! The day we went to this Cupertino outlet, I was nursing a grouchy temperament courtesy a rumbling stomach and a dietary restriction on all things yummy. Not only did the pizza perk me up sufficiently to elicit a return to human-like behaviour, the server also gave me a side of sauteed sausage on request!

I don't think I'll come back. The food is alright, nothing special, and the price to portion size is pretty ridiculous. Prices were high and portion sizes were small. I got the ravioli and i probably could have eaten 3 servings, but at the price there was no way I'd buy it again.

I really like New York style pizza, and finally stopped by Amici's for lunch one day to check it out. I bought the mini pizza - it was $11.45! And when it came it was this tiny, anemic looking pizza that wouldn't even fill up a kid. I won't be visiting here again.

I arrived around 6 PM on a Wednesday. There were two customers in the whole place, sitting at a table, apparently waiting for their food. I ordered two shawarma wraps: one lamb and one falafel, to go. I didn't get my two items for 16 minutes even though there were zero other customers (the original two had left). I took my food home and ate it about 5 minutes later. It was average at best. Mostly bland with few spices, and not a whole lot of meat actually in them. I've had much much better shawarma elsewhere. On the plus side, the kid at the register was pleasant and attentive, and I was given some little chips to eat while I waited. They were stale, and they ran out in about minute 4 of my 16 minute wait. I wouldn't waste my time here if I was you.

I've been there twice. The food is great, but the portions are a bit small. On my second visit, it took them nearly half an hour to make three falafel sandwiches. I'll try some another falafel place when I'm in the area next time.

From the outside and entering it looks more like a diner than a middle eastern restaurant, but once you get your food and try it you will not regret going into this place. The food is fresh and very well prepared. i have been to high end middle eastern restaurants and this place is definitely up there when it comes to the quality of the food and the ingredients they use. The looks may not be very appealing but they do deliver the real deal when it comes to middle eastern cuisine.

I ordered take away food for my team at Village Falafel today. I got some wraps, some falafels and pastries. Everything was delicious. Definitely a great quality / price ratio.

Italian name with Italian food options, but mainly Himalayan/Nepalese food seems to be their specialty. Tried their Himalayan menu...Liked the pizza, naan and sizzlers; the chowmein was slightly on the greasy side and pretty bland. Would go there again and probably order the pizza! coz the place is a little bland for me. They need to spice up their flavors a bit.

Used to be good, but it seems to be under new Indian management. Don't come here if you want Italian food. Also, don't come here unless you like your waiter leaning over the table for the entire meal, staring at you and listening to your conversation.

Is a place where family can enjoy each other while eating in a comfy and soothing enviroment. Food are excellent and staff will try to accomodate with whatever services that are neccesary. Will not hesitate to dine there again.

Florentine's is very close to our home, and I WANT to like the food, but I just don't. I ordered gnocchi recently (one of my favorite dishes), and the potato-pasta dumplings were so overcooked and water-filled that they were mushy. Horrible. As my brother put it, "Wow. I'll eat almost everything, and I won't eat that." I do love the bread with cheese spread that comes with every meal, though. That cheese spread is definitely a winner.

I really missed Outback as it’ has closed down in Singapore. Found this outlet while shopping in the Great Malls. Just to have the special bread and butter was good enough for me. The experience was nostalgic and the bread and butter were perfect. Had a light meal of chowder, burger and Mac and cheese. All food was ok but underwhelming except for the bread and butter, which was exceptional.

A Solid Meal and Great Value I recently had dinner here. To sum up my experience: while the food itself was decent, it wasn't exactly a mind-blowing culinary event. However, the excellent service and the very reasonable price point are compelling enough reasons for me to happily return. The Food: Satisfactory, Not Spectacular I ordered the ribeye, and while it was cooked correctly to my requested medium-rare, it didn't possess that deep, char-grilled flavor or exceptional tenderness you might hope for in a top-tier steakhouse. It was perfectly fine and satisfying—a solid, well-portioned meal—but definitely not a dish I'd rave about later. The side dishes were competent, but also standard fare. The Service and Value: The Highlight This is where the restaurant truly shines. Our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. They handled our table efficiently and with genuine warmth, making us feel welcome without being intrusive. The quality of service far exceeded my expectations for the price range. Speaking of price, the overall value is excellent. Considering the portion sizes and the quality of the hospitality, the final bill was very affordable compared to other steakhouses in the area. Have been going to Outback since the 90’s, in Florida. The Blooming Onion was small, the fries hardly had any cheese or bacon on it, the Caesar salads were white (not green), the ribs (from the sirloin and rib combo) had NO meat on it. Just BBQ sauce and bones. The shrimp were skimpy, The sweet potato looked like it was stepped on… not pleased with the food, especially after paying $40 / person.

The food was honestly terrible 🤢. The server didn’t seem interested in being friendly or welcoming — he was clearly rushing, even though the place was nearly empty. As for the food, it was by far the worst part. I ordered Victoria’s medium filet mignon with grilled lobster and three sides — it came out burnt and completely tasteless. I also ordered the spinach dip and grilled shrimp appetizer, which were just as disappointing. The drink was no better. I got the rum punch, and it tasted like a liquid lollipop way too sweet. I didn’t even touch it after the first sip. Everything I ordered was just bad. Definitely not coming back.

Finally tried Outback Steakhouse for the first time and it was a nice experience here at the Great Mall location! My sister and I came here initially to order the Puggle Splash (color-changing lemonade mocktail with a platypus and egg figurines) and to try their blooming onion and steak dishes. I took photos of our appetizers and drinks, but forgot to take a picture of our steak dish. Our server Faith was very attentive, kind, and kept checking up on us if we needed anything. Can’t wait to try again!

I never fully understood why people write bad restaurant reviews until I experienced truly awful service myself. My small group of friends and I went to Outback for dinner, and from the very beginning, the service was mediocre at best. The bartender wasn’t friendly at all — his attitude made it uncomfortable to ask for anything. He barely checked on us and gave off the impression that he didn’t want to be there. The food itself was great for my two friends, but my steak came out undercooked. I asked for “medium well,” but it was served “medium rare.” The bartender never came by to check how the food was, and since I was starving, I just ate it as it was. To make matters worse, this was the second time the same bartender has served us, and the service was just as disappointing as before — which is why I decided to write this review. The first time, I thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but clearly, that wasn’t the case. I went on 10/16/25 around 5:10 PM and sat at the bar top. Side note, are refills included?

We celebrated my friend's birthday at this OH location. Their menu is the same as at the Palo Alto restaurant. Unfortunately they had black olives, not green ones which are much tastier with the pickles. Order a combo of small plates and appetizers 2 for $12 or 3 for $15. The rice bowl with veggies was good, however I would prefer more mushrooms on it. We liked that they substituted the pita with cut veggies for the hummus dip. Our server was very nice and helpful, chatty and polite.

Fantastic experience and absolutely amazing food! Carla our server did an incredible job recommending certain options. We tried pita falafel sandwich, Mahmara dip with chips and then gluten free chcolate mousse along with handmade baklava for desserts. Great food and authentic food, we will be back for sure!!

Wonderful Sunday lunch last week. The fried cauliflower florets starter was great. Nicely fried, not greasy with a good thick pesto labane sauce. We loved the muhamarra with the fried pita strips. Had some the next day and it was still fantastic. The chicken pita sandwich was good. My chickpea salad was tasty, but I wasn’t expecting the chickpeas to be so firm. The chocolate babka was great, not too sweet. The staff was attentive and the service was prompt. Nice atmosphere too, casual and welcoming.

a month ago, I told a friend I’m not a fan of hummus, but this completely changed my mind 😩 Oren’s Hummus was the first place my friend took me to after I landed in the bay area! I didn’t have much expectation since it was my first time trying Israeli, but I’ve literally been DREAMING about it since then 😋🍽️ the outdoor seating in downtown mountain view makes it THE location for a cute, casual lunch date ☀️⛱️ the hummus was so creamy and goes perfectly with the pita bread and fries! it needs to expand beyond the bay area!!! what we’ve ordered (very filling for two!): 🥗 comes with salad! (refreshing starter) 🥣 hummus (comes with the softest, fluffiest pita bread, so much comfort in the yumminess) 🍟 garlic fries (5/5! perfect thickness, and the warm fries goes really well with the hummus) 🍸seasonal raspberry lemonade (3.5/5 minty, cold, and refreshing—not too sweet, but also not very special 👀)

Great place for falafel veggie pita pocket + some chocolate mousse and baklava. Our server went above and beyond to share their favorites. Will be coming here again soon!

Dips were yummy and the veggie skewers were alright. disappointed that they removed the plant based lamb, making the vegan and more sustainable/cruelty free entree options much more limited, though still a lot of vegan dips

Visited this popular Japanese restaurant on a friend’s recommendation. The interior settings have an authentic Japanese feel with guests sitting on the floor and being served on low height tables. For food, we ordered items from appetizers all the way to desserts and the taste of some of the dishes are indeed top notch. Big kudos to the dry fish and cod roe clay pot although the price for a clay pot dish is a bit on the high side. My next best recommendations are the dessert items in which the sweet potato ice cream dessert is my new favorite. In general, the cost of the main dinner items are a bit pricey for me but as mentioned, it is a popular restaurant for people of all age groups.

The food is great and comes out fast! The seating is mostly floor seating with leg space and no back support so that could be uncomfortable for some people. Our service was okay - I felt like they were annoyed at my group (of mostly older seniors) and so we're taking a long time to get to us. Sorry! The good food was the black miso cod, the salmon claypot (medium is not that big...), The miso pizza was awesome, and the beef tongue and hamachi carpaccio were good. The pork belly was great but the pork ribs were okay. Overall yum! Might not come here for a while since the hostess annoyed me (yes I acknowledge my group was mostly grumpy old people....)

I don't know why this place is so popular. The food tastes average but looks above average. The prices are very expensive. Best to make a reservation. Otherwise, you will get a seat with limited seating time

My partner and I were really missing Japan, so we chose to eat at gochi for dinner. This restaurant is one of the most “Japan” vibes place I know, so excitedly we arrived. Even at 7:00 on a Wednesday night the whole restaurant was filled so I am glad we had a reservation. We ended up getting Salmon Aburi, Mentai Kinoko Pizza and Unagi Meshi. All of these items were delicious and definitely more than enough for the two of us. Service was a bit slow, but it was a pretty chaotic night and the food was delicious.

Wow! My new favorite place in Cupertino! Just excellent! I didn't ever suspect a Japanese place would have such an amazing pizza.

My friend and i I had a great experience at Gochi. Everything was perfect- good and ambiance! Everything we ordered was so tasty! I can't wait to come back. I also would like to mention our server Taichi - he was very attentive, caring, brought food and drinks right away, and took really good care of us!!! Thank you!!

If you want an Irish pub with character - the full ol' pub experience - this is it. Musky smell in the air, don't drop anything on the carpet, some parts of the ceiling are caving in, and the food is mediocre at best. But the reason for the bad review is the service we got last night - HORRIBLE! I came in with some friends, my arm in a sling after surgery - very visible. All my friends ordered beer, and I asked for water. The cheeky waitress looked at me, made a face, and asked in these very words : "are you only going to order water?". "yes" I said. "you know we're a pub, we need to make money" she said, holding her ground. I told her I cannot drink alcohol yet after the surgery, she walked off with the face and brought me water. We kept ordering drinks etc, and after a while she came and let us know she's ending her shift if we want to close the bill. Ha?? First time I've heard that (sometimes waiters mention that if we want to hand them a tip early, but close the bill?). So, that's the worst service ever. Unfortunately it reflects on the rating for the entire place.

I used to come here decades ago and unfortunately the place has really gone downhill. The beer was ok and my wife enjoyed her cider. The service was excellent probably partly because there was nobody there at 5:30pm on a Saturday night! We won't return.

We used to enjoy coming to the Duke of Edinburgh, but sadly our recent visit was very disappointing and it feels like the place has gone downhill over the last couple of years. We all ordered beers, and mine had a very strange, chemical taste — almost like shampoo. My husband tried it too and agreed it tasted off. I brought it to the bartender’s attention and asked if he could try the beer directly from the tap. He did, and told me that it tasted normal to him. Then he suggested maybe it was the glass. Honestly, that explanation made it worse — because if it was the glass, then that means dirty or contaminated glasses are being served to customers. They did replace the beer, but the experience left a bad impression. Service wasn’t great either. Our waitress kept coming over far too often, interrupting our conversation with friends. At the end, when it came time to pay, she didn’t even give us the option to choose the tip — she pre-selected 20% on the screen and then asked us if we were okay with it. It felt very pushy and passive-aggressive. On top of that, the bill still included the beer I had returned, which was frustrating. The food and prices were also disappointing. We ordered the potato skins, which came as six tiny pieces with just a thin layer of cheese on them — and that cost $16. Essentially, that’s three small potatoes for $16. A pint of beer was $11, which is a price you’d expect at a fancy restaurant, not a casual pub. Most bars and pubs in the area charge $6–8 for the same. Unfortunately, between the questionable beer, the pushy service, the overpriced food, and the overall decline in quality, we won’t be coming back.

It was fine, but a bit pricey for what we got. First off, the beans were American baked beans, not British baked beans, which is not an acceptable swap. The fried items were quite pale and soggy. Two meh entrees and two beers came to ~$100. The decor is good and the service was friendly, but this will definitely not become our local.

Had a team meeting here with some complimentary drinks from them and when I asked if they served mocktails the waitress rolled her eyes and asked me to explain what that is lol?? And when I told her it was a cocktail with no alc she rolled her eyes again and it told me it was a bar….and then pressured me to order a drink like what?? What kind of horrible place is this. Would not recommend stepping 60 feet close to this place 🤮

Friendly service. Interesting food and decor. The fish looked great and tasted good but not as good as it looked. It was spicy but not excessively so. The cucumber with egg and wood ear mushrooms and the lotus root with wood ear mushrooms were both great. I look forward to trying their hotpot next time.

For those who like northern Chinese food, this is a very good choice. Noodles are delicious. It is clean and not crowded, at least when I visited there. Price is pretty good. The bow is huge.

I'm giving five stars for authentic cuisine from the area that was once called Manchuria by westerners. I was very happy to have food that represented that region of China. It was quite and uncrowded when I went. I strongly suspect it's more popular with immigrants from China, and those who speak a common language with them. Whatever the situation, everything in the menu had an image for the dish. They even serve uncommon things that may include frog or something else that you may find exotic. Some people may complain because their taste buds are unfamiliar with lesser known Chinese foods, or because authentic dishes may have bones in them, or even just complaining that the wait staff don't speak English well. I give five stars because everything was prompt, the dining area wasn't full, and these people truly deserve business. If you can imagine moving to China and opening a restaurant there that is staffed with your English speaking family who are trying to present great service and food then you'll come closer to enjoying the entire experience here. There were lots of quirky things I could imagine would annoy people who are accustomed to having everything just so and right when they want it and how they want it, but this truly was a wonderful date night for me. Try not to be annoyed if a server checks their mobile phone while on the floor, or otherwise does something unlike a ritzy CA store employee. As a cultural and culinary contact experience, it was great. They truly, truly deserve more business.

Reasonably priced authentic northern chinese food with HUGE portions. This is a great place for groups in a very casual, homestyle atmosphere. They have the best eggplant I've ever tasted. This is the one dish that keeps me coming back here-- battered and deep fried eggplant served with bell peppers. *make sure you ask for the crispy eggplant since there are multiple eggplant dishes on the menu* The dong po pig foot and back pepper fish are also tasty -- love the bold flavors. The last time I was there they had a thinly sliced spicy pork stir fry special that was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loves their spicy seafood soup. Some dishes are really hit or miss (my family found all the good dishes by looking at other peoples tables). If you are thinking of trying a new dish, always ask the waiters opinion of it and see what they recommend. This place does not have the cleanest bathroom so if you are picky about that here is an advanced warning.

I feel very sorry for SJ to lose such a quite unique Chinese restaurant....Before I moved elsewhere I used to come very often, enjoying a wide varieties of cuisines from Northern part of China, the Manchurian! I have never had problems with the reasonably priced, best-taste, authentic chive pockets, eggplants, and dumpling you can find in this country. Anyone can tell me where the owner and cooks are right now?

I seldom rate restaurant online, but this one miss the mark. The first waiter serving us was a young guy who was not very familiar with the menu, but polite and patient. We were first time there so we asked a couple of questions on what they have to offer. The younger waiter had to go back and ask. Then an older guy, whom I found out later to be the owner of the restaurant, came out and continued to take our order. He was derogatory to young waiter’s job performance. Later on I heard guests in another table asked that the owner should share some tips with the new waiter because he is still learning. I assume other guests also noticed that the owner was mean and impatient to the young guy. The owner was also impatient to our questions. When we asked if the steamed fish is very fresh, he answered NO. He said the fresh fish cost him $60 per pound to buy. I have been in many Chinese restaurants numerous times and frequently have fresh steamed fish. But I have never heard it costs restaurant that much to purchase the fresh fish. Our first order was lamb soup. When it was brought to our table, the soup was splashed outside bowl and some was is the plate under the bowl. It looked dirty which made me wonder the condition of their kitchen. The lamb was hard to chew for some reason. When we told the owner about this, his reaction was: “That’s impossible, our lamb is the best.” I was wondering how much he paid for the lamb in consideration of his hyperbole about fresh fish. Only when he noticed that we left complete lamb order on the table when we were ready to leave, he started to believe our comment on lamb. When the owner was passing our table, we asked for some rice, he kept walking. We thought he didn’t hear us. But a few minutes later, he returned with next course and asked what we just said we need. So he heard us but choose to ignore it. Only 3 tables with guests at the moment and he was far from busy. I would not return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone. I would rate “F” on service and “F” on food. 95% of other Chinese restaurants should have much better food. Meanwhile I also felt uncomfortable when I noticed restaurant owner was mean to his staff while I was eating.

We had the beef stew & tofu "warm pot" and the Guan Dong Style Eggplant. Based on the other reviews here, I was expecting something a little better. The beef was gristly and tough, and there weren't any vegetables at all, which I would have expected in something called "stew". The eggplant was deep fried (which wasn't necessarily bad) but the batter was *very* salty (which was). Won't be coming back.

Visited Hong's Gourmet on a Friday at noon for lunch, and it was an enjoyable experience. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers but wasn’t overly busy, with plenty of parking despite the bustling location. The upscale, classy ambiance stood out immediately, creating a welcoming vibe, enhanced by Naval Academy memorabilia—a pleasant surprise and nostalgic touch, as both my son and daughter are graduates. A friendly staff member greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. The food was fresh and flavorful, with the salt and pepper crispy eggplant stealing the show—perfectly crispy and delicious. The Mongolian beef was rich and savory, and the Taiwanese fried chicken was equally satisfying. The honey walnut prawns, however, were okay but not to our liking, too sweet, and lacking in flavor. The attentive service, delicious dishes, and sophisticated ambiance made for a wonderful dining experience. It's definitely worth a visit to Hong's Gourmet for an elegant meal!

Great atmosphere and location with quick, efficient service. Ordered the green onion pancake appetizer and house basil tofu entree which was enough for 2 people as portion size was reasonable. However, the food was very salty so adding on jasmine rice was a must. Unfortunately, the saltiness overshadowed any other flavor.

After a disastrous experience with their service, my wife and I decided to give Hongs Gourmet another chance. We’re glad we did! The food was just as good as last time and the service was considerably better. We sat inside for lunch. The spacious and colorful interior is a work of art, with soaring ceilings, flowers, and interesting architectural details. There were only a few customers, and we were all seated in a cozy side room with a nice view of the street. We decided to forego the lunch specials so that we could share my wife’s favorite classic Cantonese dish Moo Goo Gai Pan. The thinly sliced, tender chicken breast was poached and then sautéed with mushrooms, snow peas, and carrots. I prefer spicy Sichuan dishes but I thoroughly enjoyed this. The generous portion was more than enough for two. We added the dinner combination with steamed white rice and chicken salad. The salad had iceberg and romaine lettuce and small pieces of shredded chicken breast mixed with nuts, sesame seeds, and vermicelli and tossed with olive oil. It was a nice take on a typical Chinese chicken salad and easily shareable. We started with a serving of four veggie spring rolls, which were served with three different sauces (mild, hot mustard, and chili pepper). They were crisp on the outside without being greasy. We wanted to try their Wor Won Ton Soup so we took home a large order. Wor means “everything” so the soup had shrimp, BBQ pork slices, and veggies in addition to the ground pork dumplings. The chicken broth was flavorful, the ingredients were tasty, and the soup was a meal in itself. This family owned restaurant will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2023. Based on our latest experience, I’m raising my rating from three to four stars. We’ll definitely go back. ORIGINAL REVIEW (8/11/2021) Delicious food. Terrible service. My wife and I had dinner at Hongs Gourmet restaurant last week for the first time since the pandemic began. Their food was as tasty as always but we never experienced such awful service. Hongs is the only local Chinese restaurant where my wife can find her favorite classic Cantonese dish Moo Goo Gai Pan, and it was as good as she remembered. I enjoyed their flavorful and tender Mongolian Beef, spiced just right. Overall, the ingredients are high quality, the meals are skillfully prepared, and the portions are generous. The spring rolls and battered prawns on the combination appetizer plate were good, but would have been much better had they not been delivered lukewarm. Service was a complete disaster. Our server was poorly trained, totally inexperienced, and absolutely clueless about standard restaurant protocol. She couldn’t figure out what we wanted when we asked for “a glass of ice”. After multiple requests, she eventually brought an ice bucket. Dirty dishes were left on the table when we ordered dessert and were still there when it was delivered. Our pot of hot tea never arrived “because someone else took it.” That’s unacceptable. We’ll probably return for takeout just to get their excellent food, but we can’t recommend Hongs Gourmet for restaurant dining.

That was THE BEST Chinese food I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. Peking duck was crispy and juicy. Very reasonable prices and great service

First time here - we ordered crispy noodle with combo and Mongolian beef - it’s good to see both dishes were generously portioned with meat. As often we see many places cut down the portion. And the taste was authentically good, better than some places in SF Chinatown. The service was good too - when we asked for our leftover to take home - the waitress actually came out and boxed it for us . Will come back here when we come back to this Saratoga downtown .

My family recently held my father's celebration of life luncheon at Hong's Gourmet for a party of roughly 80 people. Sally was accommodating to our requests that included table arrangements and seating, and A/V tech needs including having access to the restaurant multiple times for tech tests. Her restaurant's modern air conditioning was a nice reprieve from the hot sun that particular day, a detail often overlooked until your guests arrive, sweaty, their nice dress shirts sticking to their backs. I was most impressed by how responsive Sally was with my after-hour texts. The food was tasty and parking wasn't an issue for my many guests. Hong's Gourmet is not only a delicious place for food but a venue that can accomodate large gatherings.

Totally enjoyed my eureka burger special. Juicy and tasty and cooked just right, thought the medium and the medium rare both taste well done. Amount is just right and price is reasonable too. The Philly steak burger was also very nice.

Pretty good for chain food, though there's room for improvement. Bone marrow burger was not bad; they got the temp of the patty pretty close. Fries were a little too hard-fried (not just crispy - *hard*). The grilled cheese sandwich was truly GBD (golden brown and delicious), but the tomato soup was too sweet and not tangy or savory enough. Servers and hostess were all great. Shout out to Francisca(?) - give your Pomeranian a scritch and a treat for me when you get home, okay? The way the wall opens up onto the covered patio gives it a nice open feel, though if you want to sit inside it doesn't feel very "indoors." The biggest negative is how screechy those metal chairs are on the concrete. They're so heavy that most people pull them and don't even attempt to lift them, so every time a table got up to leave we were treated to the sound of a zillion loud, conversation-drowning scrapes. If you have a noise-reactive dog this may not be the dog-friendly restaurant of your dreams.

Loved the food- it’s not great for triglycerides though. Fried chicken sandwich is the new favorite. Crispy Brussels sprouts and chicken nachos were yummy. Cauliflower and veggie burger was okay. margarita was not up to my liking. My daughter likes mac and cheese balls! Note to self - don’t take truffle fries. And we love barrel cake with ice cream Chicken lettuces wrap is okay, pass on goat cheese salad.

Best Eureka! location I've visited! Friendly staff, nice chill atmosphere, good food an drinks. I come weekly and I'm so glad this is in my neighborhood. My go-tos are whiskey old fashioned, brussel sprouts, and the fig burger. 🥃🥗🍔 They have happy, oops, "hoppy hours" and special deals every day. The regular price is a bit on the higher side but worth it for me.

Double smash burger was very tasty and the fries were a bit over seasoned. Chicken nachos were good although a bit skimpy on the chicken. Skip the charcoal lemonade as I noticed nothing special about the bland $6 drink. Service was very accommodating as we had to change tables and they brought out the heat lamp for us. PS. Please fix the women's restroom stalls doors as they annoyingly slam shut loudly without any effort.

The food is pricey, but they give you a lot and it's good. Many gluten free items, including gluten free buns. Their brussel sprouts are delicious, and that's hard to find. The truffle cheese fries are really good, you can taste the truffle in the rich cheese sauce served on the side.

Tried the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich with Truffle Fries on the side and firecracker sauce. Fried chicken was well cooked, burger buns were soft, and the fries were delicious. Seared salmon tastes great as well!

Came here with my dad and we got seated really quickly! Good: - I got a udon and I thought it was a good portion size - The tempura was really nice add - I liked how it was super crispy and added a good amount of flavor - The food came out pretty quickly! - Cute place to go for a catch up Bad: - The udon wasn't super unique, a bit bland and I wouldn't have it again - A bit on the pricier side for just 2 dishes Overall this was a nice place to stop by and try since I pass by it a lot.

A random, last minute find on a Friday night with no wait and can accommodate a party of two with an infant in a carseat. Quaint and no frills restaurant with omakase. Our omakase sashimi order was about 107 dollars, a bit pricey and presentation was not very impressive but every bite was so fresh! Their miso soup was quite delightful, better than most miso soup I’ve had.

The restaurant is dishonest. They didn’t tell us how much tip they would charge before we start ordering. Instead, the owner/waitress simply put down the tip amount, which is 20% on top of tax?!, directly on the signature receipt afterwards. Those hand-written numbers are not mine. I wonder if this is even legal. Super bad experience, we felt that we were totally ripped off. Will never go there again. Folks, be careful they would dictate how much you need to tip for you!

Love this place. Been coming here for a few years now. Place looks like it was once an old row house. There is a nice little patio eating area which where we were at. I live the soba noodles here!!! Wife a sashimi - tempura plate. Both were delicious. Also had a large Asahi, so refreshing on warm evening.

Kind of unique, restaurant is in a structure by itself, with outdoor seating set up in the front, entrance on the side. Has been around for over 20 years, but changed owner 3 years ago. My first time here. Salmon skin salad was so so, skin was not crispy, kind of fishy. The deluxe nigiri was pretty good, but the rice was a bit too sticky. The Agi tataki was the best, fresh! Service was excellent!

Outstanding Japanese food. Only complaint is that we arrived almost an hour before their stated close time and were rushed through the whole meal, being told we had to order everything we wanted almost as soon as we sat down. We will go back, but this time it will be at least two hours before close.

Menu is very Confusing. Dad order 2 item combo ( I think 27 or 28 dollars). He choose Tempura & Sashimi. It was Very Expensive & HARDLY ANY FOOD. Tempura was good but average (you get better Tempura at Hokkaido buffet). The Sashimi was very small ( Good but tiny) very Thin slices of Red Tuna ( White Tuna very good but only 2 pieces). They do give u one big bowl of Rice.The Miso was Nice & Hot but very salty. it was good soup but too Salty. I wanted to order more Maki. I only order the Salmon Maki which was very very tiny.....but I did not want to spend over 30 dollars. There are better sushi places that offer more food. I would suggest if you order 2 item combo for $ 27 that you order Teriyaki (Chicken or Beef) as you probably get more food that way. Although Waitress Nice, Im not sure if she spoke much. I wish she warn us that if you order Sashimi & Tempura ( for Combo), you will be starving. So Dad order Udon for $ 20. Although it was very very Hot ( good) it was too Salty. The Noodles were good but there are better Udon places ( they do not give you meat, just Tofu with some very Salty soup). Another Udon place ( on Blaney, near Joy Dumpling) the name is Uzumakiya...you can get Uzumakiya Udon for only 15.75 or Uzumakiya you can get Kitsuni for $ 14. But here at Kuni, they do give you free Tempura with the Udon but just too much Tempura. I guess i wish the waitress help us order more Maki. I just wanted Maki ( because I wanted more seaweed...if you go to Hokkaido buffet for 21 lunch you get All you can eat Sushi...at Hokkaido you pay more for Dinner $29 or $ 30 dollars per person, but it is all you can eat & you can get free seaweed by the edamame station) The waitress was very nice & we should ask her suggestion but the Menu is very Confusing!! There was a Combo for $ 37 dollars maybe we should have tried that but Im pretty sure its hardly any food. There are better sushi places out there. Azuma has better Combos ( they give you more food). Dad end up spending $ 80 dollars (and we did not order drinks, only hot tea). If you come here, be prepared to spend over $ 50 dollars per person as if you order Maki or Nigiri, it is very very tiny. So Tiny Maki that you would be better to go to Kura sushi ( tiny also but they have bigger Maki....you probably get Ripped off at Kura also because they have tiny tiny Nigiri but at least it is only $ 4 dollars per tiny plate). They do have Nice Atmosphere but small. be prepared to spend over $ 50 to $ 100 per person as Nigiri & Maki are Tiny Tiny!!! if you dont eat out, just go to Hmart. As Hmart supermarket you get Huge huge Sashimi for only $ 15 or $ 16 dollars ( at Hmart supermarket you get 4 times the amount of Sashimi) or just go to Hokkaido Buffet $30 for dinner you get Unlimited Sashimi. I guess the people who come here dont care about getting full or have money to throw away.

Great customer service. Fresh Salsas, every day they told me. The place is great for lunch or dinner. I had a chicken burrito. It has sour cream and guacamole rice and beens. It was good! They tell me that the wet burrito is good. After they Wrap the burrito they add cheese on top after it's been wrapped and then they add a special sauce the one they use on enchiladas and then they put it to bake so the outside cheese melts. Sure sounds tasty I would say!

Worst tacos ever. Super dry steak and pork (very very spicy). The bathroom was VERY dirty, lost my appetite after tbh

One D l Mar fish and one Mariscos shrimp taco plate. My wife had chicken quesadilla. The taco plate was excellent. Fish and shrimp cooked perfectly and very tasty. The quesadilla was also very good.

Worst Burrito ever! I ordered Carne asada, they gave me beans and rice with a small amount of short rib. Don't claim it's Carne asada, give me garbage, charge me $17 for rice and beans. Worst place EVER!

The pork tacos were so spicy, they could have powered a small volcano. The beef tacos were drier than my sense of humor on a Monday morning. Only the fish tacos were worth the trip, the rest were a culinary crime scene. Not coming back unless they promise to hire a chef who knows what flavor is!

Delicious! My second time here. Everything is homemade and so delicious. The nachos are so big you can't eat them all. Wonderful food and friendly staff!

No frills low key Mexican restaurant. Excellent New Mexican food at good prices. Favorite for the table was the special smoked Gouda quesadilla.

Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. We started with their famous clam chowder, and it lived up to the hype—rich, creamy, and full of tender clams. It was the perfect comfort dish to begin our meal. Have passed near this area many times and never knew this was here, found it on Google maps and decided to give it a try. Food was pretty good (a lot of items on the menu are fried). Service was prompt and very friendly. Atmosphere is nothing special, very informal but decent for a lunch or casual dinner.

We had a taste for fish. The City Fish came up on our radar. Seems like a lot of people love it. The atmosphere is easygoing, neat and clean. But...we came for fish. The menu did not disappoint. We went with seabass and catfish. The filets were sizable. The taste was spot-on. Portions for the sides were large. Overall, plenty of food. All for a great, fair price. Service was attentive, but not too much. Yes, we loved our experience.

We had a truly satisfying meal at this fish restaurant, both in terms of quality and quantity. We also tried the ciabatta crab sandwich, which is very delicious with crunchiness of bacons, well flavored crab filling , lettuce and avocado!

Wonderful restaurant. Food was delicious. I ordered the fried fish and fries, my wife ordered the tilapia platter with vegetables and Cole slaw. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were filling, the service was excellent and very accommodating. We sat at an outside table, enjoyed the beautiful day and indulged in the delicious seafood. Galpão Gaucho is a carnivore’s dream come true! The service is great, with staff so friendly you’ll want to invite them to your next barbecue. The beef ribs and short ribs? Pure, meaty bliss—keep ‘em coming! The cheese with honey and grilled pineapple with cinnamon sugar are sweet, drool-worthy perfection; I’d return just for those. The salad bar is solid, adding some vibrant colors to your plate to balance the meat coma. 😆 A must-visit for meat lovers!

Came here for my Mom's birthday and it was so worth it. A bunch of family and family friends came and everyone enjoyed themselves very much. The salad bar was fantastic and the different types of steaks very to die for! If you haven't tried this place, it's a must! Put it on your bucket list and bring your whole family! 5 stars!

I went to Galpão Gaúcho Brazilian Steakhouse and ordered two Lamb Chop appetizers. They came out really fast, cooked exactly the way I asked, and they were absolutely delicious, full of flavor! The service was excellent as well. Managers Sidinei and Luciano are very charismatic and attentive, truly doing an exceptional job. Great experience, I definitely recommend and will be back again.

Positives: Service was AMAZING 👏👏👏 very attentive and checks in with our table constantly. The cheese and salad bar was fantastic with huge variety of choices! Negatives: The meat was “okay”, I don’t know what’s the rave about meat. I rather pay $100 for 4 course meal with incredible quality than $100 for this all you can eat steaks with mediocre quality.

First time at a Brazilian steakhouse and I was completely satisfied. Meat was tender and juicy. The salad bar was impressive and necessary to give your mouth and palate a break from the onslaught of meat you’ll be consuming. The most surprising thing was how good the grilled pineapple was, definitely a must when you go.

The service here is truly excellent — everyone was very attentive and kind. However, the food was not as good as we expected. I went with my husband, and at one point I got up to the buffet to get something for him. An employee told me, in a rude way, that I couldn’t eat. I explained that the food was for my husband because I’m currently on a liquid diet and not eating solid food. He even went to confirm it. The same employee was also the one who later brought my husband’s birthday cake, but didn’t say “happy birthday” or anything — just placed the cake on the table and left. My husband didn’t eat it either, and he only liked one of the cuts of meat. Aside from that situation, the rest of the service was exceptional. Everyone else was very polite and professional, and that really made a difference in our experience.

The excellent service starts from the waiting. The front desk Joey is a professional waitress who handles the waiting list promptly and accurately. She always smiles. This restaurant always has a long waiting list. Customers usually wait for at least half an hour. Smile cures all their impatience. We picked this restaurant for a family reunion dinner. We used to come here for dim sum only but today we decided to try their dinner menu. We have had one of the best Chinese meal here. The dishes are packed with incredible flavor, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. The food is consistently outstanding and full of authentic taste. Their roasted duck is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with tasted sauce. Lei Garden strikes the perfect balance between a refined dining experience and the comforting essence of home-cooked Chinese meals. While the service can be a bit slow at times, the amazing quality of the food more than makes up for it.

We went for dinner. The food took a while to come out, but everything was hot and fresh. They brought you compliments soaked peanuts and pickles cabbage. It was a good start, cabbage was crunchy had a nice light sour taste from the vinegar. Peanuts soft and flavorful The Peking duck (4 out of 5) was delicious. Buns were very fluffy, the duck was moist and flavorful. Really good. Everything together was delicious highly recommend. Meat was very tender and mosit Prawns and pumpkin salted egg yolk (3.5 out of 5). The prawns were delicious. Huge prawns very well seasoned. The batter was really crispy. The dish is pretty oily as it was deep fried. Could only eat a few pieces as it was heavy. The pumpkin was really good too. As good dish to share with lots of people. I got tired of it pretty quickly. Satay broccoli beef chow fun (2 out of 5) was very wet. Not too much flavor and was a bit over cooked. Had a few small chunks of pineapple. Complimentary pineapple bun with custard filling (4 out of 5), delicious. Careful really hot custard, burnt my mouth a bit. But very delicious . Chewy fluffy sweet and savory

Spacious restaurant with yummy authentic dim sum with extra oomph. The fish cheung fun with cilantro was superb, as were the seafood dumplings and soup dumplings. The char shiu puff pastry buttery and super light. The fried fish was delightful and the fried pumpkin with salted egg yolk original. The kai lan with oyster sauce cooked just right. Service was gracious and quick. Highly reccomend!

We were in the area for some business meetings that ended quite late. So, we looked around for a restaurant. My husband said he wanted to have dimsum. We tried this place. Wow! Their food is really good. Authentic, traditional, no nonsense well-prepared and presentable dishes. They did all the classics very very well. The service was friendly even if we did not speak any Chinese. They were polite but formal. We went away very satisfied. I’d go back when I’m in the area again!

We came all the way here for their dim sum. To my surprise, I just had the most authentic taste of HK dim sum I have tried in California yet. After trying their dim sum, I could say this restaurant was the real deal. The price was okay for us as we compared them to the dim sum restaurants we have visited. Not that much difference but better taste. The restaurant’s decorations tells you right away which cuisine you’ll be having. Very Chinese-looking! The staff was fast and attentive. As long as you waved, you’re bound to get the attention of one waiter and they will try their best to fulfill your request even though they’re a bit understaffed.

jasmine thai has served as my special sock for a few years now; i only come to her for convenience, but do not love her. she does a good enough job though. the curries are tasty and it is fun to walk around in the square with friends. it is unfortunately a bit pricey for what its worth

The photos in other reviews looked so appetizing, but my order was very disappointing. I ordered a large Tom Yum Goong (soup), but it was overly salty with just a tiny amount of chicken and mushrooms, and it didn’t even have the cilantro garnish shown in other reviews. The Pad Thai and rolls were just mediocre. Overall, the presentation and flavors fell short of expectations, and I left unsatisfied.

This was our first time ordering from here. The lady upfront could barely speak English and was very argumentative. The food is heavily fried and greasy!! No taste at all , small quantity, bad quality food ! Never ordering from here again . There are other Thai restaurants who really take care of customers and make good quality food

Loved their food. Got the Bangkok rice, mini rolls and drunken noodles and Thai tea (of course!). Food was amazing! Ambience is amazing. The street next is amazing so gives off a good vibe overall. Only thing they need to improve upon js service. There were only 2 ladies working during lunch time. And after they served us food, they were totally busy with their stuff, like we were trying to wave hand so they could see us but nothing. Ultimately we had to go to them on the counter and ask them for water. Please work on your service.

We wanted to eat something different from usual weekend lunch so we went this place and was pleasantly surprised with the aesthetics, very clean, neat and spacious and very beautifully decorated. Coming to the food, there were a lot of vegetarian options. What we ordered was way too delicious to leave behind anything. I requested for warm water and they were kind enough to accommodate it. The soup was just relaxing and the curry puff reminded me of an Indian snack but the best part of lunch was the drunk noodles it was just awesome. So overall the place is definitely worth going back again and again.

This time, I explored a few different items with a colleague and again, they were fair but doesn't quite match up to what you’d find at some of the more well-known Thai spots in the Bay Area. Overall, it’s not a destination Thai spot—but if you’re in the area and want something quick, affordable, and decent, it gets the job done.

Above average dining experience at this Korean restaurant in Cupertino. Service was fast and friendly. The tofu soup and spicy squid were both solid, but the banchan was very average. Parking lot layout is a bit funky, so finding a spot can take time and some maneuvering around the careless drivers.

Though the food was very good, everything had really good portions, Kim chi wasn't very strong though. The seafood pancakes were very crunchy, Kim chi fried tasted good. Peaceful atmosphere, very easy to talk. Food served fast.

my go to place for tofu stew 🍲 the owner is a very sweet person and took great care of us- the server kept loading us up with side dishes. I got the dumpling tofu stew with ramen and a side of rice, my friend got a beef bibimbap- both were amazingly cooked. Highly highly recommend!!!

Went for lunch with a friend. We arrived a few minutes ago of opening time, but we were seated right away. Friendly service. We shared #41 (it's not that spicy if you are used to spice) and the green seafood pancake. The banchan was delicious. We got some additional mixed rice, but honestly we couldn't finish what we ordered. Good portion sizes. Friend's little daughter ordered ramen but found the mild was too spicy for her liking. The tea was also nice. Nice place - I can see going again. It's just a bit pricey. But I guess if you're sharing a dish it all evens out.

Went here for dinner and it was super busy. Felt like it was a short staffed but that didn't bother me. I get it. They were very nice and no one was rude to us The food was good. Wasn't amazing but I would come back again. My wife and I got different bibimbop. She got the regular bibimbop with purple rice while I got the wagu stone pot version. I highly recommend the stone pot since it has the crispy rice on the bottom. the server recommended us the pancake which we didn't try. I saw the other tables and it looks delicious Like I mentioned earlier, I would come back again and try. hopefully the soup and the pancake would change my review. Also to close on this review, I would really like to emphasize that the price was great compared to the amount of food you're getting.

All the menu items recommended by the owners/staff were remarkable! My family loved it. Great portions, wonderful ambiance and family friendly vibe, and we accidentally stayed way past closing and no one rushed us out. Suprised there wasn’t a line out the door on a Saturday night. Highly recommend.

Overall, it was a good experience, but the restaurant needs some serious improvements. For example, the soy sauce container is not very practical—it doesn’t pour easily. Basic essentials like water, extra plates for food waste, and wasabi should already be provided at the table instead of having to request them. The menu options are also quite minimal and could definitely be expanded. It would help a lot if each item included more details, such as whether it’s cooked or raw, spicy or not, so guests can make quicker decisions. The concept is fun and the food is decent, but with these adjustments, the overall dining experience could be much better.

Awesome conveyor belt sushi experience. You can order from a tablet or take the sushis on the belt. It’s priced per plate and super easy. Keep in mind that you cannot make reservations and need to queue up and check in online. The wait time was about an hour. The sushi was excellent! First time trying raw scallop, which was divine.

I really like this place because you get the option to pick from a variety of choices but custom order too. I especially like their Ramen because it’s not too big. So you can get the best of both worlds, Ramen and Sushi. The atmosphere is so much fun too. The only disappointment was the cake. 🍰

We came here specifically for the ONE PIECE × Kura Sushi Bikkura Pon collaboration. The whole restaurant was decorated with One Piece posters, and the Bikkura Pon machine even showed the One Piece prizes. After we finished eating, we realized the machine only had the old connectable charm prizes, not the One Piece ones. When we asked the staff, they told us there were no One Piece Bikkura Pon prizes available. But when we were about to pay at our table using the self-ordering tablet, we suddenly saw that the One Piece Bikkura Pon capsules were still being sold separately! So they did have them — just not through the actual event. This was really misleading. The decorations and the machine made it look like the One Piece collaboration was still going on, but it clearly wasn’t. We ended up paying extra just to get a Luffy capsule. Very disappointing and felt dishonest.

I found their new campaign has a provocative design: a baby faced girl with provocative appearance. Not only it’s against promoting women’s body positivity, it looks like a preteen girl! I conveyed my feedback to a waitress and asked how I should provide effective feedback. but she was like you go figure out what to do or how to let your feedback heard maybe online somewhere but it’s non of her business. I asked a few times if I can talk to her manager before she finally got the manger to come over. The manager was professional and provided me with email address for feedback collection, showed his understanding and opted to remove this paper roll. I suggested using other designs (there were a couple of different designs) instead of this particular one. This is a family friendly restaurant and I don’t like the idea of little innocent girls go there and see that and think that is normal. Maybe it’s normal in Japan or mangas but I guess it’s not and hopefully will not be mainstream in America.

We went here as a couple and only had to wait a few minutes to sit at the sushi bar for dinner. Although the service was okay, the did give a good amount of wasabi, which was nice. The wasabi was spicy just how we like it. The conveyor had typical sushi rolls that you'd find and they were all really good. I liked the tuna, crunchy rolls, squid, and steak. We also ordered a small bowl of Ramen and a bottle of sake. My only complaint is that the beef was a bit chewier than the Pleasanton branch beef. Overall, it was a good filling meal.

The most well known revolving sushi spot around here and maybe even the only major ones but still overall a good time. Pricing wise at four bucks a plate they aren't that cheap but it's more for the experience. Would recommend trying at least once if keen.

I hadn't been to Kiku in many years. It's no longer a formal restaurant. More like a mini grocery store and sushi food court. Sushi is 3 stars, similar to what you get at other Japanese grocery stores. It's better than Costco or Trader Joes or Safeway, but not restaurant quality. We ordered rainbow roll, spider roll, seaweed salad, veggie tempura, shrimp tempura, seaweed salad. Plenty of food for 2. Everything tasted OK, but the tempura batter was a bit thick and chewy.

Fresh sushi with great staff. Everyone there seems like their having slot of fun. We sat at the bar with the two sushi chefs. Henry was waiting on us and we so incredibly personable. Most places I've been, the sushi chefs are quiet and don't share much. Henry was talkative and open and made us feel part of the Kikusushi family. This space is big so can accommodate large or small parties. Sushi is delicious and the have tamari for those gluten free eaters. Sushi options vary but they will comply with Abby allergies. Great friendly place, will be back.

Lovely traditional Japanese market place. You could find many kinds of special Japanese style snacks and groceries here. They also offer decent sushi and bentos. It is though a small place and hard to maintain social distance. Still worth a try and take care!

This business pivoted from a full service restaurant into a market with a kitchen. Over the weekend, I ordered food from the kitchen. We liked the food so much, on Monday I went back for lunch. My favorite is the chirashi. It has fresh, good quality sashimi, and is a phenomenal value.

Best place for sashimi/nigiri in south bay! Their toro/otoro tuna nigiri is a must have at this place. All their nigiri and sashimi are super fresh and tender. The store is a small semi-restaurant and store hybrid. You can pick up bentos/sushi/sashimi etc or order at a kiosk to get it freshly made. I recommend ordering at the kiosk to get it freshly made foe the best experience.

The staff here is extremely friendly and occasionally stuff is on sale here, around 30% off. It's an extremely good deal since the food here is fresh. The family combo here is also a good deal, it includes appetizers (2), sushi roll (2), bento & donburi (2), and ramen (1) for $55 (you have options to choose from). Also inside there are mini (Asian) snacks you can buy.

I had a conflict with weitress/manager: I ordered California Maki which include crab according to the menu but the actual one contained imitation of crab. The weitress brought the menu and we reviewed it together. It doesn't mentioned the imitation anywhere. I think it is illegal to offer something but bring something else. The conflict got resolved in favor of the restaurant.

A solid Japanese BBQ restaurant that has been around for many years. We went on a Monday evening and found out they had happy hours all day on Mondays, with discounts for many dishes on the menu. We tried a couple of marinated beef cuts, basil chicken, and garlic shrimp, all recommended by our waiter. When they were served, our waiter explained the time needed in each side on the hot grill, and we grilled them ourselves. The beef bibimbap and house salad were both tasty as well. Overall very reasonable price for the amount of food we ordered. Service was friendly.

We tried the All you can eat menu’s supreme option at $78 per person. There were 80 items. We were in food heaven lol. Lots to choose from. We tried almost all of the beef grill items. For sides we tried the garlic noodles, cheese wontons, chili & yuzu roast beef. However, the latter was our least favorite, it’s a cold dish and seemed very flavorless to us. The cheese wontons were bangers, and the garlic noodles was also flavorful and delicious. The meat items were perfectly seasoned with sauce and tasted amazing when charred. The finishing with the lava cake was the best, super rich and moist chocolate with dense oozing filing of chocolate went perfectly with the mild ice cream. The service was comparatively quick to other Gyu-kaku branches and grills were replaced very often. Everyone was super attentive and friendly. I loved the experience and was wholeheartedly fulfilled.

Very close to a 5, but the service suffered. I'll end with that. I rarely have Japanese BBQ; normally Korean, but this one was gooooood! We had several appetizers. Edamame covered in garlic. I mean, seriously a lot of raw, minced garlic. I think I'd get the normal one next time. Fried gyoza also good, but the steamed chili dumplings were VERY good. Spicy volcano tuna looked awesome but was just ok: tuna poke on deep fried rice ball. Karage with ponzu side sauce was yummy. And the fried rice sizzles in a hot bowl in front of you. I like the charred rice that sticks to the bowl. All the meats were delicious. Very tender, high quality meat. And they cook really quickly. We had premium beef (kalbi short rib) and standard beef (beef rib, NY steak). And we were compelled to try pork belly. Not sure why we didn't try seafood, but we were pretty full already. It gets very busy and I highly recommend reservations. Walk-in for dinner on the weekend probably over an hour wait. The inside is nice. Not overly cramped and is well lit. We sat in the covered outside area in the back of the restaurant which is right along Steven's Creek Blvd. The back is quite nice. But it was cold and they struggled to get the heaters working. Then they dragged heaters away from us to another table. We fussed and they got 3 guys working on getting another heater working.

Great japanese barbecue selection, we took a combo menu for six, the quality was great, especially the marinated beef. The quantity was perfect.We had a very nice evening among friends

Food was good. Very tasty. The restaurant was pretty noisy. And there wasn't enough ventilation; I could see smoke from the grilling drifting in the light beams. At the end of our meal, I kept wanting to clear my throat. If you have any respiratory problems, don't go here.

We enjoyed our lunch time here with my parents. Since my mom doesn't eat like me, lol, we did order the meat variety combo which was good for 3. We were overwhelmed by the portions and the sides that came with it. They enjoyed it and liked it, flavors were on point and delicious. Roti prata tastes good. Hainan chicken covered with soup sauce is too salty and overcooked. The singapore seafood tofu is soft inside and crispy outside, but the sauce is too salty. The atmosphere is comfortable and quiet. The price is reasonable!

I don't like writing openly bad reviews but in this case I feel compelled to. Service was friendly but inattentive. Food was confused, I should have realized when the picture of popiah looked like Vietnamese spring roll. Spinach in popiah.. With rice wrap. I ordered Mee Siam. Picture attached. Each mouthful made me more and more pissed. This is not Mee Siam. If it was called fried bee hoon, it might still pass but Mee Siam..no way. Sauce tasted sweet.. Almost ketchupy. Eggs stone cold. Prawns were well cooked. Actually calling it fried bee hoon is a stretch. I also ordered chicken satay. The satay itself was good, nicely cooked, good seasoning. Peanut sauce was overly sweet and completely lacking in spice. If you want to cook and serve Singaporean food.. Than do that, don't take shortcuts and substitute ingredients until the dish doesn't resemble anything like the original.

Pretty good Singaporean food. There's a few other foods on the menu from surrounding countries. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice with a slightly sleek, upscale setting. The service however was painfully slow, which was odd given there were very few customers at the time.

Excellent and authentic Singapore food! The food is extremely fresh and delicious and served family style. When our family goes out to eat it normally costs over $200 by the time we're done. When we eat at Merlion it's almost always barely $100 and we have food to take home! We love the muscles (also a Happy Hour item) with a fabulously delicious broth that can also be poured over the rice (we don't waste a drop) and the addicting lettuce fish dish that had the delicious crispy oats topping (can't remember what it's called) but it's perfect every time. I don't know if people realize what a great bar they have. Drink prices are great during happy hour, as well as the happy hour menu that is very filling. We try to go early when it's quiet - and love that the chef cooking station is open for the public to watch them work their magic. We've also had large gatherings there and they are extremely accommodating as well as unbelievably well priced for such events. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I miss Chicken rice so much that I came to this place without reviewing the posts. Well... I must say it is never close to the real Singapore chicken rice but better than Americanized Asian food. Prada was good. I wouldn't come back for the food but the ambiance is quite good. Never crowded and most importantly, the waitress is super nice! I give 5star for the service and 2 star for the food. Take the 3 as an average.

It's easy to find Asian food in the Bay Area. Singapore/Malaysia food is a relative minority among other Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese or Indian restaurants. Merlion stands out by not only provides great food but creates the ambience more like a casual Italian/American restaurant by having a full bar and darker light. Their service is much better than most Chinese restaurants with the same price range (but the environment may not be as pleasant) and the bartender Janice is very friendly.

I didn't like most of the dishes .. Tom Ka soup, Indian Mee Gorang noodles, Basil fried rice .. it was very different from the usual Thai Singaporean cuisine I had tried before😒 Only thing I liked was the Roti Paratha with their house dipping sauce .. that was just like how I remember from other great restaurants! The restaurant is quite big, nice ambiance, fast service. They serve alcohol too Parking seemed full but found place quickly .. the whole shopping center has many restaurants and businesses

Quaint Thai restaurant tucked away in Daiso plaza and boba ice cream. We got a table by the window. They have interesting seat area where you remove your shoes before you sit down. We got water and my brother ordered a Thai beer. We ordered calamari, crispy, yum with sweet hot sauce. Pad se ew with pork and masamang curry chicken. Rice on the side. The entrees were tasty, a little on the sweet side. They provided 4 different spices for the table for your taste/bite enjoyment. We missed basil on a couple of dishes. It needed that essence to make it Thai. Dessert was a fun sampler: sweet rice with coconut milk, fried banana with honey sauce, sliced mango and scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Great food. I especially like the curry dish. The cushion seating is comfortable but it appeared to be a bit dirty. The waitress was friendly and provided very good hospitality. We enjoyed our dining and will come back.

One of our favorite Thai restaurants in the area! It has been here for a long time. The atmosphere is very nice with lots of Thai style decorations. Half of the seats are Thai style sittings, and half are Western style sittings. There are a lot of dishes to choose from. Most of entries come with many vegetables which we really liken.

My husband ordered this today for lunch through GrubHub and they are the worst Thai dishes I have ever had. I love Thai cuisine so much but these dishes just ruined my day. The noodles are soggy, clumpy , without salt and any spice. The curry is so below average. The soup was only okay but just average in taste.

I really liked the ambience of this restaurant. This restaurant is a bit pricey. They charge a mandatory 20% gratuity on your bill which is clearly mentioned on their menu (irrespective of the number of people at the table). I had a mango Margarita, it was pretty good. The sandwich was pretty average didn't taste like wow to me. The wings were pretty good, well cooked. The staff is very humble and very prompt in service. Overall it was a good experience. Might visit again and try their burgers!

Delicious, though pricey. They offer custom-built burgers, and the meat was perfectly cooked. Bun, meat, and toppings were all amazing. Burger doesn’t come with fries, it’s an extra $4 to have it on the side. Two burgers and a side of fries ran about $50 after tax and the 18% included service charge. Still, worth visiting every now and then. :)

We love the Counter. We lived in the bay area for five years and we would typically go to the one in San Mateo. We were driving to see some friends and so we stopped here to grab dinner on the way up. The food was really good and the servers were very kind at first. Our food came out right away and was hot we had no issues with it whatsoever. The reason I’m giving this place three stars is at the end my wife order a milkshake to go. The milkshake wasn’t even full in the cup. And it wasn’t even the right one. The server even knowledge that they had made something wrong with it. So he asked if he could back. He came back and said the bartender won’t make a new one. So then I asked him if he would comp it. It was just something that could’ve been avoided.

Like the Counter burgers and also the sides, specially shoestring fries. Garlic Aioli is probably the best among the sauces I tried so far. Cupertino location has outside seating area as well. Good in summer and spring to sit outside. Service is generally good here and reasonably fast. Look for their coupons in the mail Buy one and get one burger free! Worthwhile visiting the place without coupon s well!

We returned to this place after a very long time! I think we have so many choices in the Bay Area that a repeat visit is usually difficult choice. We came in just to take out the Impossible Burger and their Hippie Salad. The staff at the ordering counter was very friendly and she had a smile during our entire conversation. Some thing that I would want at any place that would want my patronage . The Counter surely did well on this front. Ordering is never easy when you are supposed to building your burger from scratch, even when you are ordering the standard from the menu., but because we were prepared with what we wanted it was not too much of a hassle. We kept the salad simple too. The only peeve I had was that the burger was stone cold by the time we reached home. Their to go boxes did not help hold the warmth. ( Well it was a cold eve too) Next time we promised to sit there itself and enjoy the burger and the outdoor seating seemed very inviting too! Will definitely be back!

Customize your own burger is fun and one can try various combos, different bread, meat, sizes of patty , dressings, toppings, etc. I like Counters because they use quality meats and the ingredients taste fresh. Also love the sweet potato fries. Yes, it does take a bit of time to get your food. So, if you are in a big rush, this might not be for you. If you enjoy building your own burger and wait for it to be cooked fresh, the try this! The prices are not cheap, but I think reasonable considering the location.

This is the best place to customize your burger in every possible way. Their fries are also crisp and nice. This location has outdoor seating also so one can sit while waiting in line (yes, there is always a line here). We waited for approx 15 mins in line due to the crowd, our order took another 15-20 mins and we finished in approx 30 mins. Expect this place to be on the expensive side than any other burger joint, ordered four burgers with 3 fries and a Coke for approx $72. Everything was fine and nicely served.

Decent Thai cuisine with tasted and wide variety of food, good place for business lunch. We ordered chicken Satay and crispy fried tofu as appetizers: the chicken was a little dry, but the tofu is surprisingly good with the sriracha sauce. For entry I ordered the classic Pad Thai, and it’s tasted like a nice Pad Thai you could imagine. Each entry also comes with one side salad and daily soup.

My daughter came two weeks ago and like the food. However today’s BBQ chicken has a wrong flavor. I put a picture of the BBQ pork that she ordered last time as a comparison. The rest of the dishes are on the sweet side. Fried rice is moist which my husband likes but not my daughter.

Just received my order and I have to say that I’m totally disappointed. Me and my coworker Order the number 58 Pad See-Ew and it was SO DRY. I should have just ordered from my usually Thai place 🤨 Just wasted money

This is a very good pizza place in fast food category. They have slices which is a pretty quick, easy, decent option. 1)Basil Almond Pesto Slices are good 2)Build your own is good too and they are generous in adding toppings which is usually a rarity in other fast food joints.

The pizza might be decent, but the service completely ruins the experience. The man with glasses and earrings who served us was shockingly rude from the moment we walked in. He seemed angry and irritated to even have customers, mumbling under his breath and giving off a tense, hostile attitude that made everyone uncomfortable. During the lunch rush, something that happens daily, he always looks like he is on the verge of losing it, openly showing frustration instead of professionalism. When we asked for a to-go box, he responded with a condescending tone and even questioned whether we were “actually going outside to eat,” which was both unnecessary and disrespectful. He also slammed pizza boxes down in front of customers like it was an inconvenience to serve them. Overall, the atmosphere was miserable, and the service was disgusting. Save yourself the trouble and eat anywhere else.

Terrible experience at this location. The employee was rude, pacing around and loudly complaining about another customer. He slammed trays around and acted annoyed when people asked for to go boxes, which should be basic service. Unprofessional and uncomfortable visit. Pizza was fine, bit on the oily side and the ambiance was fine other than the employee with glasses and earrings.

I ordered what appeared to be a combination pizza, but after tasting it, something was clearly off. It turned out to be the Vegan Big Sur. Despite me specifically asking for a combination slice, the employee never bothered to mention it was vegan. It’s partly my fault for not asking, but the employee taking my order could have at least mentioned it.

The guy serving us (glasses and earrings) was beyond rude and made the whole experience miserable. He came across as angry and standoffish from the moment we walked in, like he resented even having customers. He kept mumbling angrily to himself as if everything annoyed him, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. When we asked for a to-go box, he was condescending and even questioned if we were “actually going outside to eat”—something that shouldn’t matter at all. Every time there’s a lunch rush (which is basically every day), he looks like he’s about to throw a fit and completely loses his composure in front of everyone. To top it off, when serving pizza, he would smack the box down in front of you in the most disrespectful way possible. The pizza might be decent, but the service is absolutely disgusting. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

We love the one in Santa Cruz so after De Anza flea market we found it in Cupertino. I asked them to leave it in the oven a little longer becsuse I like it a little well done. I got 4 slices, 2 for now and 2 for later. He put them in a box for me. My wife and I were dining in our car. My wife took one bite of hers while I took a bite of mine. We looked at each other quickly. Neither piece was hot! As a matter of fact they were a little cold in the middle. I took the box back to the guy inside. There was a different guy there. I asked him if he could throw them back in the oven because they were cold. I asked him if he could kick me down a free slice for having to come back and he looked at me like I was asking asking him for the moon. He left them in for a little while and I took them out to the car again. Believe it or not they still were not hot! I went back in and both the first guy and the other guy were there. I told them FYI, the pizza was still not hot. The first guy said that they put it in the 500 degree oven and take them out when the cheese is bubbling. I told him it still wasn't hot and he argued with me. I told him there's no way the cheese was bubbling on these pieces. Ok, fine. I guess the customer isn't always right. Too bad and I'm sorry because like I said we love the one in Santa Cruz! I really hope they make it. The huge place was practically empty and the employees just standing around.

Not very crowded. They have nice indian curry pizza. We can make half and half puzza for 14” and 18” inch pizzas. We took shahi paneer and chicken supreme. Chicken supreme pizza was yummy. They have 5-6 beers on tap.

On business trip … Looking for something open late. Great combination of pizza with delicious curry toppings. And regular favorites. Dine in . Service was great and they explain the menu. It’s a great combination of gastronomical cultural ingredients. Def recommend

May be one off but monthly special pizza (Garden Veggie) one of the worst I ever had and never expected from Curry Pizza. Also their desi garlic sticks can be avoided. Used to be lot better. My request for extra cheese ended up having lot more vegetables and bell peppers resulting in Capsicum :-) not sure if can reorder.

This is a great place for Indian crafted pizzas. The Indian flavors are amazing. Personally I like achaari gobi and desi garlic sticks! The staff is very polite and friendly.

I stopped by around 12 PM and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. My order was taken quickly, the service was smooth, and the girl was polite. Overall, amazing customer service — I’ll definitely be coming back!

The open signs were on, website says they close at 2am and we came around midnight. The lady said that the “kitchen was closed, but the restaurant is open”. So the restaurant prematurely closed? She saw us at the door, and just ignored us even though signs were on. Seems they just want to get things over with and don’t care for paying customers. I’d recommend going somewhere else that doesn’t mislead customers ready to order and pay.

Harumi Sushi is located in Cupertino, California, close to Apple Park. It was a perfect day for soup and bento. It was raining and we decided to go 21 of our new locations, Harumi Sushi. I got my normal Pork Katsu, The kids got there ramen noodles and yaki sobo. The wife got Chicken Katsu. The meal was delicious and great for the weather... Take a look at our Picks. When your in Cupertino, stop by Harumi Sushi and tell them you want Joe's Special !!!

Really delicious rolls, service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasing. Will definitely be back to try their other plates.

Bento was good. Tempura also very good. Beef was surprisingly tender. Fast service. Tempura sauce didn't have much flavor to me? Parking was difficult at peak Sunday lunch time.

I love this place. This is the only sushi restaurant I go to in the Bay Area since coming back from living in Japan for 3 years. I order the Lucky 7 roll and the incredible roll. You won’t be disappointed!

Food had the wholesome quality. Great place of people who want to try japanese food but not sushi lovers. Plenty of great options. Vegetable and shrimp tempura, fried tofu, chicken karage, california roll. My kid who is a picky eater enjoyed this place quite well. Service was quick.

Not the greatest sashimi or beef teriyaki but good variety of sushi and rolls. The sashimi wasn't as tender as I'd like and the beef teriyaki was okay but was a different type of beef I'm used to. Though it was tender enough, it just had less of the grilled flavor steak I've had from restaurants in Mountain View. The vegetable and shrimp tempura were excellent and the rolls were unique. My wife says this is one of the best seafood salads. We came about 20 minutes earlier than the opening time of 1130 but got somewhat irritated looks because we honestly didn't know. So we came back. The first server wasn't as friendly at first and forgot my water. All in all the prices weren't too bad considering the area. We spent about $64 for a family of three (no beverages just water and tea). The server who came later was more attentive and refilled our drinks and gave my water. Parking was okay and can be difficult on Saturdays.

My #1 go to for quality, service and price! I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve gone maybe at least once a month for the last couple years - just a huge fan of their consistency and menu options! I always get the 49er and Philadelphia or Alaska basic rolls, occasionally bentos!
