American restaurant
Family restaurant
Sequoia Cider Mill Restaurant is a low-key, family-friendly spot that offers a wide range of Mexican and American dishes. The restaurant provides outdoor seating, parking, highchairs, wheelchair access, and free Wifi. Visitors rave about the sausages as starters and the BBQ chicken and ribs. The French Toast for breakfast is highly recommended along with perfectly cooked bacon. Guests also praise the fajitas and salmon dishes.
Great small family run restaurant with great views and very friendly staff. Delicious Mexican food, reasonable prices, unfortunately no alcoholic drinks (not even beer - it's non-alcoholic). Great stop on the way from LA to Sekquoia National Park. Will visit again!!

A little pricey, $34 for a 10oz New York Steak and $26 for Pork Tenderloin. However both were beautifully cooked and tasty. Unfortunately they have had their liquor license revoked, not a problem to me, but this is affecting trade and atmosphere. Server was very friendly
Andrew C — Google review
Seeing the 'for sale' which concerns me this place is struggling financially and will close soon. My opinion of the cleanliness and the service and very tasty, large portion sizes was outstanding. My only negative is that a slice of French toast was $6.49! Ip understand why, and that is sad. I wonder if the for sale sign AND the liquor license revocation have something to do with their perceived pending sale? I feel sad as everything here was pretty good, other than the price for French toast.

Great place with an awesome view of the river out back. I'd give them 5 stars but they don't have many gluten free options which I feel is a must these days. The food was delicious, though!
Philip D — Google review
The food was delish! There was only one waitress there working tonight (we went about 2 hours before closing) she was awesome!! There were several customers there, she didn't miss a thing!! Every time our (or anyones) drink got low or if something was needed, she was quick to provide with a smile on her face. Customer service is a biggie, she made our experience worth every dollar spent!!
Sondra H — Google review
We were the only ones there on a Monday at 11:00. The BLT was delicious,, as was the Steak Tips breakfast , and the Steak Omelette. My hubby didn’t care for the biscuits and gravy. The fries were delicious! I didn’t like the taste of the water. No one else in our party complained about it though. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. We sat outside under shades. It was great for kids. They don’t sell alcohol FYI. Our server was very nice :)
Marie P — Google review
The food here is not terrible. They have an American selection, a Mexican selection and a decent seafood selection (garlic shrimp were pretty fire). The beers are what you would expect at a bar and grill with an extended Mexican beer selection. They also seem to have some sweet cocktails for those that aren't beer fans. Even the outside set up looked pretty cool. Finally, they have a descent dessert menu. The fried ice cream was amazing. Seems great, so why the three stars? The menu was way too pricey for what you get. Over priced and the value was not there. We paid 20 bucks for a BBQ burger. 23 for half a rack of ribs that weren't even smoked. As a matter of fact we had gone to another restaurant and paid less for way more. If Cider Mill can cut their prices in half I would give them 5 stars. Right now, save your money and find a place down the road.
Manuel E — Google review
This place is 2 minutes from our air bnb so we were excited to try! Food was delicious and super well seasoned! Fiancé tried the chorizo omelette and I had eggs and hash brown. Coffee was smooth and delicious, we loved everything we had. Only thing is the menu is super pricy but if you want to splurge go for it! I believe we spent $50 for breakfast

New American restaurant
Ol Buckaroo is a charming spot offering creative American diner fare and local beer and wine in a relaxed setting with outdoor seating and live music. The menu caters to various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Guests can enjoy their meals overlooking the river or in the spectacular outdoor dining area. While some dishes like waffle fries are highly recommended, others may not meet expectations.
This was a really great surprise.Doesn't really look like much when you get there. But it has a great outdoor patio seating. And the food is way over the top way better than you would expect.Especially try the artichoke cheese dip with real goat 🧀 and artichokes on top I'm telling you for sure. The food quality is way better than you anticipate. We gave the food an A plus the people were great. The environment was great, but the food.

What a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Our appetizer was the highlight. We ordered cauliflower appetizer. It’s a chill vibe place.

This place was nice and the food was good. We sat outside near the river to enjoy the view while we ate our meal. It was nice how ever I got comped on by mosquitoes, 2 of my friends didn't and 1 other did like me so if mosquitoes are always a problem for you like me you might want to eat inside or spray yourself before going in. The menu isn't the biggest but it works.

This is a great place to have a hearty breakfast before going into Sequoia National Park. The food is yummy, the servers are all very nice and the view of the river behind the restaurant is lovely.

Showed up at 620pm on a Saturday in spring Told it would be a 30 min wait for a table and 1 hour wait for food Put our name on the list and then went to three rivers brewing for a drink with a timer set. Went back at the 20 min mark to make sure we didn’t miss our call, as there isn’t a text service or buzzer etc. We were then told that they had called our name 3 times already and had moved on and sat other people. After 10 min wait they then said they could seat us. All while the entire inside dining room was empty. We sat outside in the courtyard for 15 minutes before anyone took a drink or meal order or brought over water. Water was then provided by a different waiter while we waited for our server. By 730pm we had placed our drinks and food order. Food then came quite quick. The food is really great. The location is great, it’s just the service is a bit slow and the front staff were rude and the issue with the putting our name on the list. Would recommend if you want good quality food, smaller portion sizes but great tasty fresh food. The cauliflower and the pesto spaghetti were so good!
Jess F — Google review
If you’re visiting Sequoia National Park and want to grab a bite to eat, look no further than the Buckaroo. We only spent one day & one night in the area, but visited twice - once for brunch and again for an early dinner. The good: the food is excellent. If you sit outside in the back, it’s a great view of the river. The bad: the service is pretty slow, so be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes for your meal. Credit to the servers as they’ll tell you about the long wait. But even with the slow service, it’s worth coming here. For brunch we had the egg sandwich with potatoes and my partner got the chilaquiles. For dinner I got the fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries and she got an arugula salad.
Danté V — Google review
OL Bakaroo is a must-visit for its delicious crispy fried chicken, which is perfectly seasoned and satisfyingly crunchy. 🍗 The grilled flowers are a unique and tasty twist, adding a fresh and flavorful touch to the menu. 🌸 And the Bankaroo burger is a standout, packed with juicy goodness and all the right toppings. 🍔 Overall, it’s a great spot for a flavorful and satisfying meal. 😋

Sequoia Coffee Co. is a charming corner coffee spot with a convenient window for ordering and a cozy seating area. The menu offers several vegetarian options, including avocado toast and a bagel veggie sandwich. While the hot chocolate may not be a favorite, the friendly staff and delicious breakfast burritos, bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies make it a must-visit.
Went nearly every morning during our stay in Three Rivers. Excellent coffee (Americano and lattes), plus the option to get a breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel. The bagel was toasted, and the cheese was melted. Perfection. Loved it so much, ordered another the next day to take in our cooler for a picnic lunch in the park. Staff was friendly, the line moved quickly, and if the small inside was crowded and you found parking nearby, you could wait in your car for your order because they give you a little pager while you wait. 5 stars all around!

Nice spot in Three Rivers. Wait time might be a bit , but its worth it. Coffee is excellent and the service is friendly. I had a house coffee and a Sky Bowl (pictured) which was Greek yogurt with granola, strawberries, blueberries, honey and shredded coconut. It was superb. I also tried a few bites of my son's blackberry coffee cake, which was also excellent.

Will stop here every time! Food was amazing!!!! Lemon Pistachio croissant was so light and yummy...reminded me of Paris!! Back patio along the river was a great setting to start the day!

Best stop in three rivers. Loved it so much, came here 3 days in a row. Great views and consistently great coffee. We tried the sausage bagel, croissant, burrito, bowl, waffles, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, chocolate chip cookie and carrot cake. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I'll be thinking of this place back home 🥲

I love this cafe! The decor is so cute and the staff was so helpful and friendly. I have a wheat allergy and they have gluten free bagels so I was able to order one of their bagel sandwiches. It was sooooo good! I love a yummy bagel sandwich. The coffee I got was also very delicious and smooth. I got one of their fall flavors. The maple pecan latte. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re headed to sequoia! The outdoor seating was very peaceful and their bathroom was like a zen room. They had meditation music playing and a dimmable light. It was a vibe.

The Peaks Restaurant offers a great selection of beer on tap, served in frosted mugs for an added touch. Despite being located in a remote area, the food is surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and provide prompt service, making dining here a pleasant experience. While some may have high expectations due to its location within the Sierra Nevada mountains, it's important to appreciate the unique setting and not compare it to big city establishments.
We got reservations at the Wuksachi Lodge so we would be closer to the park and man was that great! The only negative is you are an hour drive from and restaurants in the winter beside The Peaks Restaurant (which is in the lodge). Sometimes the restaurants in the parks aren't always the best but The Peaks Restaurant was! We ate three meals a day there for two days and never had a bad experience! The service and food were both great! Also, the restaurant has an amazing view and is super clean! I'm usually not a buffet person but the breakfast buffet was crazy good! Everything was fresh and high quality! One of my favorite meals was the pasta! It is an isolated place so expect to pay more for food but I would say the prices are fair for the quality and for the location! A side note, I definitely recommend doing reservations. They’re easy to do right through Google maps app and the staff seated us right on time each meal!
Brandon — Google review
Really nice restaurant located inside the park. With such a remote location it’s really impressive what they can do and the quality. My group got the pork chop, pot roast, and veggie burger. All were really delicious and filling. Some reviewers complain about the price, I thought the pricing was totally reasonable considering we are (1) in California (2) in a REMOTE national park. People need to get a reality check. Our server was really nice and friendly. He told us a few fun stories about the park. Also you cannot beat the view from the big windows!
Laura G — Google review
The Peaks Restaurant in Sequoia National Park was a welcome retreat after a long day of hiking. What stood out most was the exceptional service, especially from Shane at the front. I accidentally placed my order through the kiosk instead of waiting for a table at the main restaurant. Despite the crowds of hungry and tired visitors, Shane handled everything with patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness. He helped sort out my mistake without hesitation and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food itself was decent—nothing fancy, but satisfying and hearty, especially after spending hours on the trails. The setting was the real highlight. The indoor space offers a peaceful escape from the heat, with large windows showcasing the surrounding forest. It felt relaxing and calm, with air conditioning providing much-needed relief. It’s a great place to refuel, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the park from a comfortable seat. Overall, The Peaks Restaurant delivered a solid experience, made truly memorable by the outstanding customer service. Big thanks again to Shane for turning a stressful moment into a positive one. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re visiting the area.

Came for breakfast and dinner. Re: breakfast - “continental” (just fruit, pastry and coffee) is not a bad deal compared to full buffet. And the “continental” is actually buffet-style (unlimited food). Re: dinner - The food was ok - Not bad. Ordered salads, chicken Marsala, pork chop and chicken wings. The chicken wings won. lol. Their grilled chicken is used in various dishes (including chicken Marsala). The photo looks “sad” but it’s less sad than you think when you actually eat it. The pork chop came not fully cooked :(, but the waiter replaced it with another dish of our choice and took it off the bill. The waiter was not super efficient and observant (eg. another table was waiting to place order and I was waving my hand to ask for help, but he was just chatting with another table for quite some time…). He was pleasant when he is dealing with us though. I also felt they are understaffed. So I wouldn’t call the service is bad.
Shuting S — Google review
We enjoyed our meal here. I would highly recommend making reservations ahead of time as the seating and servers are limited. The food was good and the view from our table was great! The selection is limited (which makes sense based on location) but still has a good amount of options.
Curtis L — Google review
While visiting Sequoia National Park, dining options were limited, so I tried Peaks Restaurant. The experience was just okay. The broccoli was undercooked and tasted raw, and the rice was also not fully cooked. However, the service was good, which made the visit a bit better.
AnuReviews — Google review
The food is expensive but the prices are understandable considering the high elevation. Some issues: -Most of the onion soup bowl was filled with bread. -The grilled chicken sandwich tasted plain and dry and they forgot to bring out the fruit cup that came with it. -They could not add any toppings to the pizza (contrary to the menu). -You must decide the tip before beginning your meal. Nevertheless, the bathroom was clean and modern, the waiters were accommodating, and the pizza itself was perfect.
Natalie F — Google review
The restaurant seemed ok at first, however on the last day, I ordered the cheese and egg ciabatta, and it came pretty cold and stale looking, and when I turned it over, it had mould on it. For dinner, I ordered a salad with chicken, but it came without, and I asked the waiter for some more water and he didn’t come back for another 15 minutes. I wouldn’t really like to come back here.

The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge is a relaxed lodge with low-key rooms, a cabin, and a house. It's conveniently located near the Big Stump entrance of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, providing easy access to all attractions. Additionally, it's just a 2.5-hour drive from Yosemite Tunnel View in Yosemite National Park.
Can’t do much better than the location and the atmosphere. We went there because they have Tesla chargers, otherwise we would not have been able to travel far into the sequoias as we wanted to. The servers were awesome and friendly, and they had a baseball game on the main TV in the bar, so that was an awesome experience. Now for the food and beverages: they had three beers on tap and we didn’t want any of those, so that was disappointing especially after a long hot day of hiking. We really would have enjoyed some local beer on tap and more choices. So we went with a pint of the “Sherman” IPA in a good glass, so those were great. Now the appetizers were pretty lousy. Most of the options were deep fried in seed oils and most likely frozen food from a distributor, so yuck. But the Ruben sandwich was delicious and meaty, so I really liked that. The house salad was amazing (slivered beets, cucumbers, chick peas and tomatoes) so that was delicious. All in all, we would go there again but would not order appetizers again- was just fast food. The river view was to die for and the patio to sit on was pure freedom from the everyday. Thank you, Gateway for such a fun two days of hospitality.

Nice dining experience with a beautiful setting! The food was good - the salmon was decent and everything was prepared well, but nothing that will wow you. Solid, reliable fare without being exceptional. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit, which really made the experience enjoyable. Great service that definitely adds value to the meal. The view of the river is absolutely lovely and creates such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere while you dine. The scenic location is really the highlight here.
Andy M — Google review
I didn't like the strong smell of air freshener / cleaning solution in the room, and the sink was a bit clogged, but otherwise the room was the fine. I was really surprised how good the food was. I had low expectations at almost 9 pm on a Monday and sort of forced to come here. The prices looked a bit high. However, after ordering I would say they're kind of justified. All our food was tasty across the board. The pork chop was so juicy, seasoned so well, and seared just right with just the right texture to it. My seafood crepe was delicious. The baby back ribs were tender and delicious. The rice pilaf was so good with this dryish texture I like. The red snapper fillet was also cooked and seasoned well. The server Taylor was great, attentive, and a bit funny (and sounds like Norm Macdonald).

Location is great, if you manage to book a table by the river as we did the experience is quite nice :) food is good and the staff was incredible. Starting from the lady at the entrance to the gentleman who served our table everything was perfect. They both had a warm smile despite the day was incredibly busy, they were kind and welcoming. I work in the hospitality industry with Marriott (my wife as well) and we can tell the difference when we see professionals at work! Give them a raise! Thank you from Rome :)
Fabrizio L — Google review
We stayed at a Vrbo five minutes away and the owner recommended this restaurant to us. So glad he did. We had driven from San Diego and were starving by the time we arrived. Our server Taylor was absolutely awesome! The food was perfect-appetizer, meal and dessert, and the view was even better. After our day in the park the next day we were able to sneak back at the last hour of service to grab a burger. Once again, we had Taylor as our server and everything was great. Would definitely come back if we find ourselves in the area again.
Susan M — Google review
We just came for food after coming out of Sequoia. Our server, Jesse, was charismatic and fun. The rest of the staff were all ready to jump in and refill anything we needed. The food definitely left something to be desired, especiallyfor the price. The ravioli had an odd taste and the marina was watery and flavorless. It was in a beautiful spot though.
Chris C — Google review
Second time coming here and unfortunately both times were disappointing. The only positives are that the staff are typically nice and the view is beautiful if you’re lucky enough to be able to sit outside. Sometimes reservations are required, sometimes they aren’t. The food is nowhere near worth the price. Small portions and low quality. Over $30 for ravioli that tastes frozen, sauce that tastes canned and almost raw green beans. I can usually handle low quality food but this wasn’t easy to eat. As well as this, the place isn’t very clean. One of our glasses and spoons still had food on it and the container for the sweetener was covered in grime. I really hope something at least changes with the price. I’m sure something there could be good, but not at those prices.
Anna W — Google review
Great location, but that’s where the positives end. The Gateway Restaurant and Lodge has a beautiful location right at the entrance to Sequoia National Park. You can’t beat the convenience. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience didn’t live up to the setting. Check-in was chaotic since the same register handled hotel guests, restaurant payments, and even snow-chain rentals and sales , with just one person trying to manage it all. Our room had several issues: dusty shelves, a soaked carpet under the air conditioner, and a toilet that wasn’t installed securely and wobbled. When we asked about switching rooms, we were told the lodge was fully booked. With few nearby options and the late hour, we stayed the night but we wouldn’t stay here again and can’t recommend it.

River View Grill & Bar is a laid-back establishment offering classic American dishes and a spacious patio with stunning views of the Kaweah River. It's the perfect spot to savor a meal while being serenaded by the soothing sounds of the river. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of audio-guided tours and private guided hiking excursions in Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park, courtesy of the nearby Sequoia Parks Conservancy.
We had a great time at River View Grill & Bar. The riverside setting was beautiful and relaxingperfect for enjoying a solid meal after exploring the area. I ordered the Mountain Man Burger and it was a monster in the best way. A thick, juicy Angus patty topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, and BBQ sauce. Every bite was packed with smoky, savory flavor. I paired it with their onion rings, which were crispy and golden easily some of the best I’ve had in a while. My wife tried the Pastrami & Swiss Melt perfectly grilled with gooey cheese and tender pastrami on toasted sourdough. It was rich, satisfying, and clearly made with care. The fries were seasoned well and had that perfect balance of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. For the kids, we got the Mini Corn Dogs from the “Wee Ones” menu. They were a hit—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and just the right portion. Plus, it came with more of those delicious fries and a dipping sauce. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the food came out hot and fresh. The casual, family-friendly atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Also worth noting they offer a 10% military discount, which is always appreciated. Tip: Grab a table outside near the river for a peaceful view while you eat. Highly recommend if you’re in the Three Rivers area and craving something hearty and homemade

When eating here you have to account for how rustic this area actually is. The tuna melt had typical low cost "American cheese", which tastes exactly as one would expect. The breaded chicken sandwich was spicy, and quite good. The atmosphere was nice, and relaxing. What made this visit so enjoyable was our server, Brooke D. Her continuous smile was infectious. We watched her go all the serving areas like a ping pong ball helping anyone. I must note a young male employee who stood on his tippy toes to wind up the shades facing the river. He never stopped moving and working. He had an emotionless facial expression and just kept busy taking care a many, many odd tasks. He was like a perpetual movement machine. Overall this place was clean, friendly and worth a return visit..

What a fantastic patio! The setting was so charming and cozy with beautiful hanging lights and a heaters that kept us warm on a chilly evening. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It is a bit of a drive but nothing to bad lots of good scenery and such a relaxing dinner experience. I would definitely recommend coming here on your free time!

Incredible food and place, the waiters were realy kind. Giant sequoia burger- amazing burger, juicy flavourful, filling, the fries as side were perfectly fried, well fried and crispy. The wings were so so good, crunchy crust, and juicy internaly, the buffalo sauce was on point, perfect combination of sweet and sour.

Real American Burger experience. Beautiful veranda and outside sitting with river views. We had our new born with us and staff was supportive and friendly. The Giant Sequoia Burger and the IPA were 10/10. Highly recommend!

Amazing setting! Not a bad Western Burger, But not a good one also. Tasted like a "backyard burger" quality, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but this isn't a great burger. It was $18 or so with fries, so overall a decent value still I suppose. The fries were good ~ But you come here for the views, amazing location here along the river
B — Google review
The food was very delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. Ate outside with a view of the river and the fans and mist system provided a nice environment. Had the Haymaker Burger. Was impressed with size and the chili was delicious!
Nicholas W — Google review
My typical MO is to leave favorable reviews, so I've held off for a couple of days to see if my opinion might change...but it hasn't. First, my wife did enjoy her chicken salad. Seemed to have good flavors. My burger was overcooked, dry. Same for my daughter. The fruit flavored teas had an unusual aftertaste which we couldn't pin down. We sat on the deck, looking over the river. In general, that was nice. But the litter along the bank from prior customers was noticable. A guy was smoking on the upper level, standing near a fan, which served to blow the smoke over the guests. I realize this is also a bar, but where I'm from, no smoking would be allowed. And in CA where everything causes cancer, why is it permissable to allow one person's smoking to affect the experience of others. We appreciated the 10% veteran discount. It just wasn't what we had hoped for. Hopefully some tips for the owners. Fix a couple things...

Mexican restaurant
Casa Mendoza Mexican Restaurant is a popular spot in Three Rivers, offering generous portions of classic Mexican dishes along with a selection of beers and margaritas. While some visitors experienced longer wait times during busy periods, the attentive staff and delicious food made up for it. The restaurant provides indoor and outdoor seating options, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for diners.
So glad we stopped here after visiting Sequoia NP! The food was SO good. Our server was so sweet and funny. We had a nice quiet lunch with beautiful scenery. Indoor and outdoor seating, good prices. Highly recommend!!

The ambiance is nice. There wasn't any music and the cook's music was soft enough for guest to relax, which is good after a long day of hiking The decor is a mix of the Sequoia National Park and Mexican culture. It is family friendly and wheelchair accessible. The food was below average Tex-Mex, definitely NOT "authentic" Mexican Cuisine. The chips were a mix of chili & salt and plain. The salsa and chips were just ok. Shrimp Cocktail was prepared with shrimp cooked in plain water and add catsup and other ingredients. My husband didn't like it. The fish taco was bland - it had no taste, the same with the green salsa on it. The tortillas used for the taco were stiff/hard. I ordered the green chili, dinner combination. I didn't like any of it. I really tried to keep an open mind, but it wasn't good. I did like the "agua fresca" de jamaica, but I think it was prepared from powder mix. They have. Outdoor dinning and the whole place is wheelchair accesible, but tables are average height. Definitely family friendly.

Sweet spot. Nice patio. Friendly service. Perfect tacos and tostad. The chips are house made with corn tortillas— enjoy with guacamole.Bonus: they serve Modelo Negro. Solid meal. Arrived around 4:45. No waiting.
Margaret M — Google review
Nice outdoor seating, shaded well even on a hot evening. Service was VERY slow (to be fair they were busy), but friendly. Great chips, salsa, and queso (though queso was a bit broken). My partner loved their burrito. I tried their mole enchiladas (my first time for mole). I can't judge too much but I did think the sauce was a bit bland and the filling was just shredded chicken that was also a bit bland.

Casa Mendoza Mexican Restaurant in Three Rivers is a fantastic spot for delicious food. The menudo is excellent, and the tacos are incredibly flavorful.

Decent food. Great outdoor seating area. Servers were a little slow but friendly
Ryan K — Google review
The michelada was absolutely amazing! The mole enchiladas were another standout. Unfortunately, the experience was dampened by one glaring issue, we noticed that all of the food was being heated in the microwave. It took away from the authenticity and freshness we were expecting, which was a bit of a letdown.
Rita G — Google review
I’ve been to Three Rivers multiple times but this was my first experience eating here & definitely not the last! The food was amazing from the chips & salsa to the main entrees. I got the flautas combo plate that comes with rice & beans & it was so delicious. It is a little expensive, but with the amount of food you get it makes it well worth it…We will be eating on left overs for the next day atleast. The service was also great & our waitress was very attentive to us throughout the entire meal. Great experience, We will be back!

Subway is a popular counter-serve chain known for its customizable sandwiches and salads, offering a variety of health-conscious options. During a recent visit, the friendly and efficient staff member managed to handle baking bread, taking orders, and providing excellent service despite being the only one working. This exemplifies their dedication to customer satisfaction.
Sandwich artist was very friendly and helpful, didn't skimp on the avocado and she offered fresh cucumber slices to replace the few that were left on the display. Great service for tired, hungry travelers passing through in/out Sequoia N.P.!
Sara M — Google review
The food is typical and the staff are friendly, but this subway has a bad habit of closing early. I understand needing to reduce hours in the off-season but would be cool if the hours posted online were honored. Otherwise what’s the point of posting hours?
Joshua F — Google review
We walked in at 8:00 when they close at 9:00 and the store seemed to already be closing, with all the chairs up on the tables. When we ordered, the woman who made our sandwiches was seemed to be angry and was throwing things around. After we sat down she started sweeping and knocked down a chair and left it there. She turned off the open sign at 8:30. We did not feel welcome. As tourists from three different countries, we trust Subway to be safe and friendly, and we are very disappointed.
V R — Google review
This was our lunch stop on our way out of Sequoia. We were tired and hungry and this was the first place we saw to get food to go. Service was friendly, but they were out of ice and said the soda was warm and half of their beverage cooler was empty. Then the avocado was too hard. We ordered and the good was good...but the subs were $10 a piece for just meat and cheese. The line was out the door by the time we left, he was so slow and out of so many things. Also a limited menu. Probably won't stop here again.
Kara W — Google review
Very bad service! The two employees didn't care about anything. They start with an order, with their slow service hold up the queue a little bit, chat within themselves for a while, toast the sandwich and completely forgets about it, moves on to take the next order. Seriously these guys doesn't have passion to work at this place. Rest rooms were closed because of covid. They don't honor coupons. The price is jacked up!
Barry M — Google review
Never, ever make an online order here. They will claim to not receive it, and they won’t refund you. They do not accept corporate subway coupons. They close before listed hours. I’m a local, and I will never, ever give them my hard earned money again.
Sarah O — Google review
Very nice folks. Do a great Job. Subway owner is to blame for there not being enough help behind the counter. I know payroll has to balance with profit, however the Subway owners I know are not hurting for cash. Spend a little more on your staffing issue and I'm sure you'll pick up those extra dollars. Also keep in mind most of your employees drive 30 to 45 min. To get to work. Happy employees make for happy customers that in turn makes for happy owner. Envest in your people and they will Envest in you!
Mark Z — Google review
Extremely EXTREMELY bad service. We came here today at 8am in the morning and the lady at the counter hardly even cared about anything. 1) She said the toaster would take 20 minutes to start (I mean granted you open at 8, but at least be professional and turn the toaster on before so that when you open, you at least give the customer their desired meal). 2) No ice in the drink machine. 3) No coffee (that too in the MORNING!). To make things worse, the lady looked least bothered and had a very unprofessional attitude. Would never recommend anybody going there.

The staff members are friendly and provide excellent service, making it a great place to relax after exploring nearby attractions like Hospital Rock or Sequoia Park.
Definitely recommend this place I came to visit family in Porterville and they recommend this place and it perfect because you get to take a drive and get to see some nice sites but this place has very good customer service keep up the awesome job. The yogurt with a waffle was delicious 😋 well this well worth the drive Definitely recommend it

We got some ice cream/ yogurt and it was delicious on a very hot day. Good place to check out if you are in the area for a tasty treat. Also the back was nice with great seating and view of the river with plenty of shade.
Carlos Q — Google review
Beautiful yoghurt ice cream, they have six or seven flavour options. It can then be personalised with the usual toppings going from fruits, candies, brownies, coconut flakes, mini cookie dough and more. They also have bubble waffle options which looked delicious. Service is great and you can find parking just outside the store.
F T — Google review
I loved the back deck. The 3 or 4 choices of toppings. Thanks for having gummy sharks/dolphins! The place was fantastic. The only real problem is on Google's end. We found they were open till 830. At least on Fridays and Saturdays. Highly recommend will be back.

Great frozen yogurt/ice cream shop. There are so many toppings to choose from and everything is fresh. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, and a beautiful backyard patio to enjoy your frozen treats. Highly recommend anyone visiting Three Rivers to stop in.

a friend took me to this place, i’ll have to say that it’s one of good yogurt places i’ve been to. I got a vanilla oreo with bubble waffles, that waffles was absolutely delicious. they have beautiful patio view in the back as well, it’s an enjoyable scenic view.

Delicious and fun flavors, yummy bubble waffles, fast service. Will visit again!

We’ve been here twice in two days because the service is quick, prices are straightforward, and the atmosphere is really nice. We’ve been enjoying their dairy free froyo with toppings like fresh fruit, gummies, and even some cheesecake! The back patio is incredible too. It was 110 degrees so we’re didn’t stay out too long but maybe next time!

This place is bomb! Pretty authentic. Gyro meat was well seasoned. Greens in the Greek salad is fresh. I really liked their dressing. This truck is definitely pushing out some good quality food and picnic tables to hang in the evening sun.

We visited Tony’s after our visit to Sequoia. Not much in the area so we were sure what would be good but this place did not disappoint! The outdoor seating area has a great atmosphere, and the food was great! I know not everyone loves Greek food, but they have lots of different options outside of the Gyro. I chose the Ribeye sandwich and fries. The fries are seasoned and really crispy, but soft inside. The perfect fry. And the sandwich was really generous with the meat, perfectly cooked, medium rare, nice dressing, and soft bun. Really glad we stopped here on our way out of the park. Stop here vs one of the actual sit-down restaurants. You won’t be disappointed!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB) during lunch time. Parking can be a little hard to find and it was pretty busy. The current spot is outdoor, but they're opening a brick & mortar soon. Went with a group of people. Ordered a General Sherman burger, Three Rivers plate and their Chicken Sandwich. The General Sherman burger was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Gyro perfectly cooked along with the burger meat and burger. It's a big burger, so you may need to share it. Their hummus was excellent. The chicken sandwich was also delicious lunch! Overall, a gem of a spot in Three Rivers. Highly recommend eating here regardless of the wait time. You won't regret it.
Jerome M — Google review
After hiking through Sequoia we came here for dinner. We just loved the atmosphere sitting there under the tree with the cozy lights, music playing in the background, watching the chipmunks and rabbits. Food was awesome – we had two salads, a smash burger and the Three Rivers Plate. If you get the chance, go eat at Tony's Taverna!!!
Svenja G — Google review
While visiting Sequoia, we fueled up here twice for dinner. I can't say enough about the menu selection. It is large. And the portions are perfect after having spent the day on a trail. For a family of four, expect $70-80. So it isn't cheap, but it shouldn't be. Also, it isn't fast food so be patient. Seemed to me each meal is cooked when ordered. So the fries are crisp and hot! And fries are nice and thick with excellent seasoning. The gyro sandwich, Gen Sherman burger and the chicken strip plate all worthwhile. Good job guys!
Parker K — Google review
One of the few options in the area for takeaway. Pleasantly surprised by the portion size and quality of the food. Fries were well seasoned, General Sherman burger didn't disappoint, and the falafel was tasty!

While visiting the Sequoias, we stopped in Three Rivers for a meal here at Tony’s. We were so blown away by this food that ended up eating it for every meal while we were in town. Beautiful, bright , fresh and delicious food. We couldn’t get enough!!

Quesadilla Gorilla truck is my absolute preference when it comes to enjoying delectable custom-made quesadillas for lunch and dinner. This delightful eatery, situated on the road leading to Sequoia National Park in Three Rivers CA, offers an interesting outdoor setting. While exploring Three Rivers, I couldn't resist stopping by this food truck dedicated solely to quesadillas.
On our way back from seeing the Sequoias, we stopped at the first restaurant we came to and looked at the menu. I'm so glad I decided to leave and come here instead! After her first bite my companion, who wanted to stay at the first place, said "I should just always listen to you". We loved the #2, "The Classic" and #3, "Where's the Beef?". The salsas are fantastic too but we found that the chili icons next to each salsa dont accurately rate the spiciness. The two pepper rating almost scared me away from the Liquid Gold which would have been a real shame since it ended up being so delicious. I actually found that Cilantro Cream was the spiciest out of the ones I tried.
Sam C — Google review
Okay this is an interesting place along the road to Sequoia National Park in Three Rivers CA. We had seen it earlier in the day upon our arrival, and while looking around three rivers on the way back to the Western Lodge we decided to stop and check it out! It is an outdoors type setting with a food truck that sells nothing but quesadillas. There are picnic tables in an enclosed area Outdoors and there is also a mister for those hot days! The food was very good and the service was excellent! If you're looking for a No-Frills place to eat this is the place!
Alfredo J — Google review
Their quesadillas and dessert was super tasty! I love the place too and they got games on each table. Also, they got this map on the left side of the counter for you to pin the place of where you are from.

After a morning’s hiking in Sequoia National Park, this was the perfect lunchtime spot. The food was awesome - with both a #1 (chicken) and #2 (pork) being super tasty. Highly recommended as a place to grab some tasty food.
Ben M — Google review
This little place is awesome! The atmosphere is very welcoming. They have games like jenga, and connect 4 and corn hole to play while waiting for your food! It's pricey but worth every penny! The staff are nothing short of amazing!
Sierra R — Google review
Great place to stop after a long day in the parks. You really feel the heat in the lower elevations that I personally am not used too, so having the water misters was very nice. Food was good and the "liquid gold" salsa was very good.
Nick M — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious and as someone with a dairy allergy, i was shocked they had a dairy free alternative cheese (vegan cheese in this case) as most places have minimal to no alternatives for those of us worth food restriction. The person who had assisted me and my family was absolutely sweet as well. They also take tap to pay for those of you who have forgotten your card back home 🤣 highly recommend regardless of wether you're a tourist like myself or a local.
