I came to this restaurant about 12 years back. This was my second visit to this restaurant. Last time I met the owner Linda D'Souza and was delighted to meet such a fantastic person. I liked the authentic Goan curries but being a vegetarian can't comment on the non veg food but my friends they all liked it. Just the ambiance of this place keeps calling me back whenever I come to GOA. Last time I was here, I was an aspiring doctor and this time I went in as a Sports Surgeon. Just a lot of nostalgia and memories. Hope you create such memories at this place too.

A hidden gem with a superb ambience. Goan food dishes are superb. We even tried the pepper chicken which was v nice. Beer and other drinks are very reasonably priced. Service is super fast and all food was served within 20 minutes.

In Goa, this is one of the tasty food but the pricing is way higher as compared to our places.. vegetarians are not welcomed , you can get veg food but not in great taste.. you can try it once but not twice.

Although the place is always crowded, the food and serve is up to the mark. I love going here during my holidays because I get the food very quickly after ordering. This time I went there with my fiancé and we had a lovely time. The waiters put in so much effort to make this place work. The chefs are amazing people too who serve us good food.

We visited Kokni Canteen, Goa, about two weeks ago with my family. The place was packed, and we had to wait nearly two hours for our turn at lunch. The restaurant specializes in a variety of fish dishes and thalis, clearly inspired by the Maharashtrian coastal style of cooking, even though it’s located in Goa. As a Keralite, I found some of the flavours—like the slightly sweet sardine curry—a bit unfamiliar and not quite matching my usual taste preferences. Still, the meal was well-prepared, and the overall experience was pleasant. However, considering the long waiting time, I’m not entirely sure if it was worth the two-hour wait.

We visited Goa in the month of October during Diwali holidays. We wanted to have the best Goan thali and Google recommend us this Kokni kanteen in Panjim. The food was out of this world, we had red snapper,bombil fry, fish thali,chicken vindaloo, and sweet dish bebinca and their recommendations. Everything was beyond words. But you have to go little early as the waiting time could be more at least 1/2 hr but I tell you u won’t regret. We waited for almost an hour and never regret. Tried their Fish Thali along with a Kokum Mojito. The Kokum Mojito was very refreshing and a perfect drink to go with the meal. The thali overall was good, but the fish and prawn curries really stood out — they were absolutely awesome in taste and went perfectly with the rice. I did have to wait around 45 minutes for my order, which was a bit long, but the good ambience and relaxing vibe of the place made the wait more bearable. Overall, a nice spot for seafood lovers who appreciate authentic Goan flavors.

We visited the popular “Kokni Kanteen” after reading great reviews and tried several dishes. We reached around 7:30PM as it gets crowded. For starters, we had Cortim Chicken, Sungta Dangar, and Prawns Tawa Fry all of which were very tasty. For the main course, we ordered Kombdi Malavani with Chapati, and the gravy was delicious. For dessert, we tried Goa’s Best Ceradura, which was good. We also had Caju and Coconut Feni. The Coconut Feni tasted great with Dukes soda. Ganesh served us well with all the orders and prompt service. Note: Thali is available during lunch only.

Confeteria is definitely a piece of Goa’s old-world charm — they say it’s about 100 years old, and you can feel that heritage in its aesthetic vibe and location in Fountainhas. The interiors are lovely and photogenic, but sadly the experience didn’t match the charm. I personally found the staff a bit arrogant, maybe because they’ve been running this iconic bakery for too long. The pastries too felt quite average compared to the hype around the place. It’s beautiful to visit once for the history and the aesthetic, but I wouldn’t call it a must-visit for the food experience.

The place is a heritage. But it doesn't live up on its hype and heritage when it comes to the taste. We tried 2-3 items and the taste was not good. The only decent item was the serradurra. Not a good experience.

They say that once in a lifetime you find a gem which you have been searching for all your life. This historic bakery turned eatery is one such gem. Cuddled in the arms of Panjim city, in the heritage site of what it is known as Fontainhas, the latin quarter of Panjim Goa. This area has an intervining network of small alleys and roads making it a site to behold surrounded by houses and residences with an old world charm. Interesting isn't it? This is the historic Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro bakery. Founded on the same day in the year 1930 which is duly marked on a board outside. They use traditional methods to bake stuff such as a wood fired oven(forn in konkani), it is a family run multi-generational business offering a mix of Goan -Portuguese and locally baked products. A variety of cakes such as plum cakes etc, sweets such as bebinca, dodol etc savouries and snacks such as beef patties, chicken/sausage rolls etc. are available. The taste of chorizo mini roll was remarkable. Though quantity of the same could increase. Also the seating, although limited gives good vibes (romantic) , the interiors is tastefully decorated with floral designs and vintage furniture. The mirrors strategically placed lifts up the mood of the place. Tea/coffee is served in the traditional blue and white coloured trays. Even the tile laced table has bordering tiles of the blue and white design. The centrally placed chandelier in the main hall is aesthetically appealing. All in all this place seems to have appeared from a Walt Disney animated magnum opus. (Pun intended) Ideal for all visitors and especially suitable for couples.

One of the best option to enjoy Goan cuisine.. their thaalis are nice. Even though you may need to wait a little to get a seat, food will be provided without much delay and the services are so professional. Unlimited rice nd prawns curry will be provided. And the price is also justifiable.

Really great fish thali in Panjim. We got it recommended by a different restaurant owner in Goa so we made a special visit to get the thali from Bombil and it didn't disappoint. Generous portions, delicious curry, and a we'll put together thali with all of the options that I wanted. Special mention to the staff who were honest with us after we ordered the king fish thali and told us that they didn't get a good batch in that morning so to order a different option. Very good honesty that made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

Bombil restaurant is a must to visit place if ur in Goa.their fish thali is classic,authentic Goan taste. Their parra, Kismoor, chepnechem tor, Tisreo, Goan curry was a yumm.bombill was fried like a crispy chips.which was just melting in the mouth.. cannot resist their fish thali. For the dessert I tried their bebinca with an ice cream which was again superb.

Had the Chonak Thali at Bombil and honestly, it was fabulous The fish was so fresh and flavorful ,totally hit the spot. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And the vibe of the place, oh my god… it’s full on Goan heritage! From the interiors to the music, it feels like a little slice of Goa itself. Can’t wait to go back!

What can I say which people dont know about this place? Its lovely, cute Lil place bang in the middle panjim serving some great goan food with a very homely vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and patient considering it always packed and there is always a waiting period but it's all worth in the end. Amongst the extensive menu they serve dont miss out the goan thali experience and their pickles.. This place has become my mandatory stop when I drive down from mumbai to goa... We are local Goans, who loved the Kingfish Visson thaali and Prawns pulao. We opted for Goan rice in thaali for a Thursday lunch. Ten minutes waiting time at 1pm. Very nice Goan flavours, especially the Parra mackerel pickle, the coconut sweet on thaali, Kurkure fried anchovies. Though Goan fish curries are never flaming orange, yellowish orange at the most, the taste was good and the prawns used were of bigger size. Even the boiled rice, Goan ukkdo sheet, was cooked very well n soft. They also served papad kismoor, though the prawns kismoor was missing from the standard thaali. First time with any Goan thaali we were served complimentary veg soup! Nice touch. Ambience vibes are of a local Goan joint with Goan artefacts on display & Goan music playing. Cutlery for thaali all steel whereas for other dishes it was porcelain. Service was quick & with a smile, young girls & boys serving, along with the owner serving as well. There’s chicken, seafood, pork, beef & mutton on the menu for non-veg lovers. Primarily serving Goan food. They even sell the pickles served.

Best place to have a comforting seafood meal. The thali’s available during the afternoons are amazing. I would highly recommend the chonak or the kingfish thali . The malai chicken tikka is also good .

This is a must try place if you are in Panjim. The Goan fish thali was awesome. The ambience is soothing and the staff is accommodating. They do have a bar here and serve some good cocktails. Tequila sunrise is amazing. Finding the place is tricky and the restaurant has timings. They do serve cold coffee which was too amazing!

Bustling with customers, but satisfying food and attentive staff. Cafe Bhonsle is an over 100 years old established serving authentic food, especially the breakfast spread. From Goan favourite pao & bhaji to puri bhaji to butter & bread etc etc. Do try the yummy chai to end your meal.

I ordered two kinds of pav and the bread is so hard that you can't even tear it and it's hardly chewable.they are supposed to heat it on tawa for the bread to be eaten or else it's just like Rubber.The Tea, poori and Mirchi Bajji were good but the curry provided is not upto the mark compared to other local Goan cafes.Overall it didn't meet my expectations and overall hype on reels n social media.

This is a must go to place if you are in Panjim city! Do visit for a good & soulful breakfast. We tried poori bhaji pav mirchi pakora cold coffee chai coffee juice amongst all aloo bhaji & poori were our favourites! Chai & coffee is average but poori & aloo bhaji is a must try.

A popular veg restaurant in Goa We used their ac dining which is a bit pricier than the non ac We had their thali, patal bhaji with buns, manchow soup. The tea was good. There is a single and double tea but The qty of doibke was disappointing as it was not quite double.

Few years back when I ate at Cafe Bhonsle Porvorim, I loved everything. So this time I went for Cafe Bhonsle and was sheer disappointed. They just had Bun and Bhaji, and Samosa (as the guy said) - nothing else. I understand we reached 1 hour before the closing noon hours but it was 1 hour remaining, so we don't understand the behaviour. Samosas we ordered were actually Aloo Bonda. And when we confirmed with the guy he said Samosa was not available so I brought bonda. I mean he could have asked, but he just brought the bondas. The service was super delayed. Buns were good, sabzi was not as they just had Salad bhaji. Tea was essentially just Milk and Tea powder cooked, no other taste. So although iconic landmark place of Goa, it hasn't stayed strong in test of time.

I had just gone with my daughter to Cafe Bhonsle panaji for breakfast. Ordered sukhi bhaji and batata wada single but the waiter gave me two wadas this happened for the second time. Sunday when i had gone same thing happened i ordered one vada he gave me two wadas and the best thing is that the waiter was the same guy. And the worst part here is that today the wadas were very cold and spoiled bhaji, may be they gave yesterdays wada to us.. My daughter stomach started paining so had to rush home by paying the bills and didn't get time to speak up there. The quality of food has fallen really and so do the service.I don't know who is responsible but i had to say this Not the OG Bhonsle any more..

The breakfast platters here are to die for! I had the English breakfast, which came with sausages, scrambled egg, two hashbrowns baked beans, bread, a side of mushroom and some salad. Really filling. My other friends had the beef crocket, sandwiches, coffee and other breakfast platters (there are many types). It gets crowded easily so go there in the morning to early afternoon. Affordable too.

This was the best breakfast spot that we got to try in Panjim. Everything on the menu was mouth watering, right from the omlets, pancakes and coffee. They have a huge variety of coffees which you can also parcel if you want, interestingly you get to watch it while it's prepared. You get a very homely vibe on entering, it doesn't feel like a cafe, almost feels like you're in a friend's house for a meal. It was so good in our trip that we decided to visit twice just to try a newer coffee the next time. Overall it was a surreal breakfast experience, something that I absolutely did not expect.

The best that there is. In our four day trip to Goa, we visited Caravela Cafe five times in total. Twice in Panjim and thrice at Candolim. Couldn't get enough of this place. Great coffee and amazing menu to select from. Visiting them for morning breakfast is the best thing to do. I fell in love with Almond Tosca. The staff and owners are very sweet. Just loved it.

A Beautiful Cafe in Panjim that left me feeling Unwelcome. I visited the Caravela Cafe by myself as I was looking for good breakfast options. When I entered I saw an empty table and sat down. It was a table that could seat three people. Immediately a waiter asked me if there were more people joining and I said no to which he said, you can sit down for now but you might have to shift later if another table frees up as this is a three/four seater table. I said okay. Soon after this, the manager came up to me and asked me the same question, once again, I said it was just me and he made a sort of disappointed face as if I shouldn't have sat there. This left me with a bad experience to start with. The food was tasty overall. I ordered the Goan breakfast which was delicious. You can try the pancakes and cold coffee as well which were nice. The ambience and atmosphere at the cafe is also quite nice. The service and customer experience could be improved.

Go to eat there’s not much of an ambience. The staff is really polite, well informed and attentive. The food is good and service is fast. It’s easy to find and there’s parking on the road. Reservation is recommended.

The flavours were insane. Every bite was a riot rich coconut, punchy lemongrass, and that sweet-spicy magic only real Thai food can pull off. The Pad Thai was smoky and addictive, the green curry creamy and fragrant, and don’t even get me started on the crispy basil chicken , legit mouth-watering. What completely blew me away though was the Red Snapper ! served whole, perfectly flaky on the inside.

This is an absolute hidden gem tucked away in the pretty by lanes of Panaji. Came here for dinner. The place has a lovely old school Chinese restaurant vibe which we really loved. We ordered the tomyum soup, sprung rolls, pork satay and whole fried fish with chilli sauce and the Thai ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious and close to authentic. The pork was the only thing which underwhelmed. It was chewy and could've been cooked better. The whole fried fish was definitely the highlight of the meal. If you're going in a group I would definitely recommend getting one. Overall it was a great experience with their service complimenting their amazing food. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem of a place in the heart of Panjim. We must have crossed this place so many times but never really noticed it. If you love THAI food, there cannot be a better place than this. It all starts with the ingredients... Most of which are home grown by the owner Mr Warren who is such a lovely person. Right from the cocktails to the starters, every thing screams quality and authentic taste. Your stomach keeps getting full but the heart keeps asking for more. We ended up overeating but perhaps this was one of the few restaurants where everything which was ordered was beyond our expectations. THAI N WOK now has a permanent place in our hearts.

The place offers great food and a warm, friendly ambience. We ordered Thai curry, fried rice, Pad See Ew, and assorted vegetables — everything was delicious. They also served a complimentary local welcome bite wrapped in a leaf at the start, which was excellent. The staff were all extremely kind and welcoming, and the restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have visited this place countless times, and it just keeps getting better with every visit. I realized I haven’t clicked any photos of the food, but honestly, everything we’ve tried here deserves a 10/10. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for consistently great food!

If you want to try some good burgers, you must visit Basil Cafe. It's a small, beautifully decorated, cozy place. I had both the chicken burger and the veg burger; you can choose between fries and salad, so feel free to ask for your preference. The patty was nicely cooked and flavorful, and the buns were soft to bite. Overall, it was a good meal. There are books available to read and some games to play as well. The cafe offers many burger options to choose from, and there are also coffee options available, which are moderately good. It's a great place to hang out.

This place has lots of tasty burgers and sandwiches. We tried the BBQ burger, cafreal sandwich, and chicken mayo sandwich, and they were really good. The Oreo and strawberry shakes, and hot chocolate were yummy too. The portions were big for the price. We also had a combo of crispy chicken and chicken fingers, which was nice. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. It's a great place to hang out with friends.

Cafe Basil in Tonca Caranzalem offers a mixed experience that leans towards satisfaction with some dishes and disappointment with others. Located in the quieter interiors of Caranzalem, the ambience is simple and unremarkable, not particularly enhancing the dining experience. However, our anticipation for the food was high. We started with their Chicken Thicc Burgers, which were generously sized and packed with flavors. Unfortunately, the overwhelming amount of cheese overshadowed the other ingredients, detracting from the overall taste of the burger. Next, we tried their Chicken Pizza, and this dish delivered where the burgers fell short. The pizza boasted abundant toppings and had an impressive cheese pull, making it a highlight of our meal. To wash it all down, we opted for shakes - Chocolate and Vanilla. While they were decent, they didn't quite stand out and were average in comparison to the food. In conclusion, Cafe Basil is a decent place for a one-time visit. While some dishes like the Chicken Pizza impress with their quality and taste, others such as the Chicken Thicc Burgers may not live up to expectations, particularly due to the overpowering cheese. If you're in the area and looking for a meal, it's worth a try for the pizza alone, but don't expect every item on the menu to be equally satisfying.

I visited this place. Was lil hard to find as the cafe board was lil old and not visible. The restaurant from inside is cool. Nice atmosphere , the books the painting and the lighting was nice. I ordered the BBQ chicken burger. Man that burger is huge n delicious.😋🥰 Worth the price. It comes along with the fries and mint mayo sauce. I also tried the crumpy chicken. Hmmm it was ok. Nice restaurant with an atmosphere that takes you back in time, both the building and waiter. Food is excellent, and for sure, fresh and well done by the chef, the taste closing the eyes brings you straight in Portugal by the seaside with Indian tuch, price is also reasonable The only pity is that the house is located in a very busy road so there is no chance to have a place ouside.

Horse Shoe has been on my list of places to dine at for a very long time. It was over the last weekend that I finally got a chance to have a meal here at dinner time. It is a small, but warm and cozy place inside. I was greeted by the host and chef, Vasco Silveira who personally sat us down for dinner. I have heard so much about this gentleman and watched his videos online and I finally was here. We ordered the Balchão de Peixe, the Porco Feijoada and unde for main course. The smoky, salty and earthy flavor of the fish was so good that it still lingers on my palate. The meat was cooked to perfect softness and the beans just added to the texture. The food was not very sophisticated and complex. It was simplicity personified. The meal and the accompanying chat with Vasco and Evelise was so heartening. It was a trip down nostalgia lane. A trip to the good old times. Hands down the best Luso Goan food I have ever had. Will highly recommend that place to anyone. Will definitely visit more often and whenever I feel saudade !! Amazing place! A true Gem in Goa where you can find authentic Goan Portuguese cuisine with its traditional taste. The owner is really kind and puts in a lot of effort to get the best quality dishes to your table. Unlike the overhyped restaurants in Goa. This place is very quiet and less crowded. The food flavours are subtle and not overpowering with extreme spice. If you like spicy food this place may not be for you but if you like to taste the proper flavours of the fish/meat with minimum spices but a lot of flavours then visit here. The best dish we had was the salted tongue and the clams cooked in white wine sauce. All of the dishes tasted excellent and won't make you feel tired and weighed down. A must visit in Panjim for true food lovers who will understand the palate.

One of the best place I have been in Panjim for Goan and Portuguese cuisine. All the food we ordered was delicately prepared to perfection. The ambience and the themed music makes you feel you are in a different country. The service is very quick. The food is reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this place if you want to try some Goan and Portuguese cuisine.

I had dinner here alone and I was a bit scared to feel weird being alone but the man of the staff was so nice and talked to me and made me feel at home. I had canapés and bacalao with butter and they were so good! So please come and support these non touristic restaurants where the food has quality and they have the passion for the service and quality

Very warm and friendly host who is the chef himself As we got the menu from the waiter the chef asked us about our preferences and suggested us some dishes which we would enjoy. Went with the Fish Butter and Garlic which I thoroughly enjoyed...I don't usually order fish but I'm definitely glad I did. The beef steak was well done and much enjoyed too. Will definitely visit again when in Panjim

I’m quite disappointed with this big tandoor platter. I love mutton masala and butter naan my go to place . This time i order tandoor platter which was Raw not cooked probably and was not the worth too it was for 1399/- . So don’t waste money like me thank you.

Excellent resto, will surely come back, reasonable price with authentic north Indian cuisine. Feels like you are really in Punjab ,,one of the best in town. Will bring my parents next visit. Royal falooda was wow. Mutton was so soft and didn't stink. Satisfied. Will try the tandoori next time. Coz it smells so good.

Really nice environment, AC section is nice, food is top tier, infact the Khichdi here is the best one i have ever had in my life. Definitely will come back and try the other foods, will update the review then!! Quality of the food is phenomenal and stomach always feels nice and not heavy or bloated after finishing the meal Edit: Added more pictures of the foods i have had here, everything is really really good and i have been coming here almost daily, waiters and staff are really nice and polite and they don't annoy you if you eat too slowly or take long time to decide what to order. Sher-E-Punjab in Panjim offers a pleasant ambiance for enjoying decent Punjabi food. Their desserts are worth a try too. Prices are reasonable, but parking can be a challenge. Solid option for a casual Indian meal.

The place is quite popular already, and it does stand up to its popularity.. The food was great, both in terms of quality and quantity.. The service is prompt.. The ambience is great.. It's a great place in Panaji for a family lunch/dinner.. We ordered a few Vegetarian dishes only, as we visited there around the occasion of Diwali.. The food had a North Indian touch to it.. Would definitely recommend a visit..

Food is excellent here. All varieties of food can be found here. Alcohol is also available in multiple brands. Ambience is very good even though the hotel stays busy the entire time. Ample parking provided by the watchman outside again its paid in the morning hours. Service in the hotel is also very good. I have visited here for lunch and dinner as I don’t want to have bad experience while on stay in process of exploring any other hotel.

The roast beef tongue was a pleasant surprise — tender and well-seasoned, showing the kitchen's skill with less common cuts. Went here in July 2025. A cozy place to be in, specially in the pleasant Goan monsoons. It’s basically a traditional Goan home converted to a restaurant/ pub with an antique yet warm feel to it. I loved the ambience. Specially the small verandah sitting areas. We had the Prawn rissois which were alright (less batter more filling would have been nice). The chicken lemon coriander soup was amazing, a clear soup with just the right amount of herbs and flavours, a strong start to the meal. The chicken cafreal served with stir fry veggies and fries was awesome, the cafreal flavour not very intense, yet very much satisfying, the chicken marinated and cooked perfectly. Can have bread/poi with this. The seafood spaghetti pasta however, was the star of the show. The prawns, squid and fish felt at place with the spaghetti which was lightly flavoured with seafood and olive oil. The flavours subtle, yet very much there. Truly a treat to the taste buds. This was a clear winner for me. We also had their chocolate banana shake which was nice as well. An afternoon well spent.

Visited for old times sake of a family member. It is a small eatery, with the old Goa vibes. The food options were very Portuguese Goan and tasted good. Laid-back, not crowded at all. Not many seen to be aware of this old gem. Whether it's true or not, the bar room has graffiti all over the wall, which some claim is from the hippy days.

Went for an early dinner, on a weekday. This restaurant is recommended for Goan cuisine. We go there mainly for their meat preparations. Starters: Beef salted tongue, Pork cream chop, sausage pao (bread) - all good, & Bombay duck rava fried (v. mediocre). Mains: Beef pulav (super, sharing portion). Dessert: Caramel pudding. (no other Dessert on the menu!) Except for the fish (Bombil), the food was enjoyable. Service good. Ambiance somewhat noisy, as faces the busy road traffic. They serve alcohol - no alcohol menu though, for reasons best known to them. Would recommend this place for a decent Goan meal, mainly for the meats.

The place is just beside the Immaculate conception Church in Panjim. The place has clean washrooms. We tried Fish Curry Rice and Biryani. Great Chonak Fish Curry rice with fried fish on the side. The beef biryani was good too. The caramel pudding was tasty. Worth trying.

After seeing scenic Our Lady of Immaculate conception, you can feast here in this small Goan style restaurant. Good Goan style food is decent in taste, although I found it a little expensive. A mixed experience....Some dishes were good and some terrible...the chicken vindaloo was smelly and was as sweet as a falooda. The steak was stale and powdery and had an overpowering sauce to it. Fresh Lime sodas were served flat and were replaced, but still not up to the mark. Some of the items were not fresh. In a matter of hours I had an acid reflux and some of us had upset stomachs. Attaching pictures...but don't go by them as pics could be deceiving at times.

Amazing food with authentic flavours. Loved king prawns in butter garlics wow. Preparation and presentation so good. If you are in Goa must visit. This is the place where the Conman Charls Shobraj was arrested.

This is a really good restaurant with a lovely vibe. The space is designed like a traditional vernacular house, with Mangalore tiles and verandahs running throughout, which gives it that warm, retro home-wali restaurant feel. I ordered the chicken pasta, and the quantity was huge – very filling, almost too much for one person. In terms of taste, it was okay – not amazing, but not bad either. Overall, I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in Goa, especially for the unique ambience.

The location of the restaurant has caused some issues lately because of all the constitution activities. Food quality has slightly downgraded but still pretty good for authentic Goan food. But good service as always and a classic traditional ambience.

For such overprice + some state taxes, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The food hardly has any taste, the coffee tasted like some cheap powder coffee. The service was good and the atmosphere nice but didn’t leave really happy as the food was pretty boring unfortunately. So glad I ordered the cheapest one because we saw in advance the rating wasn’t really good. 👍

The taste of the food is not good at all. We ordered a salad, a pasta and 2 pizza. Of the lot the only decent dish was the salad ! The taste of the the other dishes was terrible ! Even the service level was pathetic, no one was interested. You have to get out of your seat to go hunt for the server or the manager. They always vanish again immediately! Best avoid this place.

It’s a beautiful well maintained 140 years old World Heritage Property. The ambience is just extraordinary. However, the food wasn’t as good as expected, to be specific chicken vindaloo being an southern specialty wasn’t really fresh the chicken clearly tasted stale also there was too much food color used for the curry which was unnecessary.

The pizza was good but I can't say the same to the mocktail and we tried cock tail too it is good like unique taste.

Great food, great portions and great service! Along with continental dishes, the restaurant serves amazing Goan cuisine too. It is located in a heritage structure and exudes warmth and a positive vibe. Lovely place to dine in especially during winters. It’s open and not air conditioned so summer meals could be a bit difficult. The pricing is not too high. Located in the fontainhas area of Goa, it’s a good goto while moving around in Panjim.

We had lunch and dinner in this restaurant a couple of times during our stay in Panjim Inn. I have no idea why the restaurant has got lesser rating in Google but the number of times I ate, not even once was I disappointed. Quality of food is superb and the taste is simply amazing!! The biryani here is a must try along with any fresh catch of the day which they can prepare in whichever way you prefer. Cost wise, yes, it's a bit expensive but it makes up in the quality and taste. Not to forget the ambiance and the mood the restaurant sets. The servers too are friendly and will suggest honestly what we should eat in terms of seafood. Already missing the fresh pomfret 😋

This is a part of the Panjim Inn by the welcom Hotels. The restaurant is very cute and nicely decorated with vintage items. We only tried the Seradurra and it was spectacular. We really enjoyed it. Quantity wise it was superb too. Loved the greenery all around the restaurant. The locality is Fontainhas to obviously a great location

Nice place for lunch food is decent not very exceptional. Fish is ok but Sungtache Dangar is too good here. One of the best. Fish thalid are good and filling and drinks are good too... sitting looks bit conjusted rest all is good. Nice fish place in around panjim

A must go for lunch time. Had the regular thali which was well priced and really good. Some days it comes with 'chonak' and other days 'modso'. The curry is just amazing. The service can a be a little testing on your patience as it gets pretty busy after 1:30pm. It can get a little noisy and difficult to have a conversation while the music and the noise from the other tourists.dinning. And if you have a car you can't get beyond a check post due to the residents and have to park in the parking lot 100 mtrs away. But it's all worth it

Perfect for Goan thali and sea food. I make it a point to visit this place during my annual Goa family holiday trips. I tried the fish thali this time in many other locations - Segundo Bairo, Longuinhos, Colva etc but none to beat ‘The Goan Room’. Also the thali is very easy on the pocket compared to the other ones. Love this place 😀

Went here on my last Goa trip, paid parking near 100 meters. Sea food was good but expensive. Red sniper cost 1500 rs. Fors Rest food items prices are decent. Overall food was good, we majorly eat non-veg.

One of the best place to try Goan cuisine. The Goan fish thali is a must try and be early to enjoy and relish Goan cuisine in a well relaxed environment. After lunch don't forget to try the Mitha pan wherein you have not just one but two of them making and selling them right at the entrance.

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 10-12 years. I have eaten here 7 times at least before today in the span of those years. It used to be amazing. But now the quality has completely gone down. This is the first time I have seen anyone using filler content like Okra and Drumsticks in a fish curry. The Rawa Fry fish was not at all seasoned, half burnt and tasteless. The price is high for the quantity they offer. The washrooms here are smelly and disgusting.

This restaurant serves tasty fish dishes like the fish thali. The fried fish and curry were highlights, but other options were just okay. Overall, it's a decent spot for seafood lovers.

One of the good old restaurant of panaji .. We tried the thali .. they served chonak or the snapper . Good enough taste, if I may say - could have been better . But ok ..! It’s a good choice for a decent enough thali .! But I think one plus point of the thali , there’s no too many dishes on the plate and you can comfortably finish it . We also ordered kingfish rawa fry , however considering the current fishing ban , it wasnot fresh

Good & tasty fish thali. Since it was mango season, mostly all the dishes had generous pieces of raw mango which I loved. Also loved the urak. It was fresh & refreshing.

Great food great coffee. Bang on the main road and yet so easy to miss. Parking can be an issue but you should find space across the road. Good sandwiches and pizza. Good coffee. Although They are a little tight on space. Staff is effecient and not intrusive. Overall a great place for conversations

A small and quiet place. Very nicely done interiors and cozy lighting. Needless to say amazing for dates :D. A lot of couples here! There's a high chance you'll not find a place to sit because of the limited seating here. As far as the food goes, it's pretty good! The burgers were filling :). Good choice of beverages (non alcoholic) too. All in all you'll find the rates are overpriced. But with the ambience in here, and the cozy interiors, you'll definitely have a good time and won't mind anyway.

Coffee The coffee here was really good, they serve Lavazza with a cookie. Ambiance Interiors are great, it's very artistic in here. One could sit and work as well from here. The only problem is if 2-3 tables are occupied it's gets a bit too loud. Location It's right opposite Kala academy. Could be quite tricky to find parking though. Overall its a great place!

Black vanilla absolutely lives upto the word cafe and cafe culture. All the food and drink items are tasty, service is fast and nice. There is something magical about this place which will drag you inside every time you pass on the road next to it. That rustic wooden name board has some dark, black secrets which hypnotists their customers and makes them come back again and again! Cheers for the best cafe in panjim !

Great decor and perfect ambience for a good cup of cappuccino and their special NY cheese cake. Staff is cool, helpful in making the right choices, take a seat by the window on the first floor, and enjoy the beautiful sea view from within really smart and colourful interiors.

Love the coffee! The chicken burger was crisp and well cooked. Great place to sit and read. They have some books there in case you haven't taken any of your own. You'd want to visit this place in Panjim if your looking for somewhere you read and have a quick bite. They have a good menu and perfect for people with a sweet tooth!

If this rating was just for their ambience, i would definitely given a 5 on 5. It has a very rustic ambience that justifies their image of a French Cafe. Warm lighting and a very cozy place with some very nice hand-picked books to read while you sip on that coffee. The menu could have had more novel options when it comes to food. Nevertheless, the chicken salami and olives pizza that we tried was yum. The prices are the biggest let down. For an occasional visit, it's a great place to chill out in.

This review was long due, really old pictures but so is this place😅 Really love this spot, it’s a little small but so cozy and preserves the olden Goa vibe perfectly. Innovative drinks choice, would definitely recommend the ‘Tambde Rosa’. The service is also real nice, I was offered a flower which was so sweet. The food is very delicious, fresh pao is served with every gravy and the masala’s are yummy. I’ve not been here in a long time but have recommended this place to all my friends who visit Goa and they love it. A definite must visit if you’re on a trip to Goa

Joseph Bar is a true Fontainhas institution. Stepping into this tiny, rustic tavern feels like you're getting a genuine, unvarnished piece of Panjim's history. It’s small, unpretentious, and perfectly embodies that old-school Goan charm. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, and you'll find a great mix of locals and tourists all crammed in together, which makes for some fun conversations. The drinks menu offers a good selection of local spirits, though I must admit, as someone who isn't a fan of feni, the popular Tambde Rosa cocktail wasn't quite for me. However, don't let that deter you! There are plenty of other options, including various local craft beers and other spirits, to enjoy. While the space can get quite crowded, especially on weekends, that's also part of its charm. My only reason for not giving it a perfect five stars is the sometimes cramped conditions and my personal taste leaning away from their most famous cocktail, but honestly, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers is part of the experience. Come here for a unique, authentic experience and a real taste of local Goan life. You'll definitely soak in the atmosphere.

This place is one of the oldest bars, yet it has a very cozy vibe. There’s usually a long queue, but it’s totally worth the wait. My husband and I absolutely loved the experience. The chicken chilly (semi-gravy with pav bread) was outstanding — delicious, flavorful, and quite different from the usual ones we’ve tried. We also tried Tamde Rosa and Mango Chilly Fenny. Personally, I didn’t enjoy them much, but my husband really liked them — so I guess it depends on individual taste. He had tried the Mango Chilly Fenny earlier, and this time, the flavor felt a bit different from before.

Josephs Bar is one of the oldest in Goa and requires a visit , however do be prepared for waiting period to get a table unless u reach early and a cover nominal cover charge we paid Rs400 per person. However once inside and seated it's a different world , old vintage goan vibes like time stopped and I liked the non fancy bar food and service . We had to try the cocktails here so ordered Mango chilli feni cocktail which I found too sweet , the Tambdi rose feni cocktail was perfect and I might have had to many 😅, no pork dishes were available that day which was disappointing however the squid masala and chicken masala were perfect the the goan spices fresh hit the right note ..a mix of locals and tourists makes it an interesting place to hang. Do visit when in Goa

It's a classic place. A must visit for anyone who enjoys drinking. Their cocktail especially the one with Feni are good. The place has a lot of history to it. They offer bar snacks and the taste was really good for the beef I had.

One of the very famous cafés situated amidst an art gallery and nature. The vibes are quiet, laid back and chill, just like the Goan way. Tried the burgers, grilled cheese sandwich and the hummus here. The red velvet cupcake is a cult favourite. The coffee was good. Would definitely come back for the hummus however if they would increase the quantity, it would please everyone!

The place is an art gallery combined with restaurant. The place is really old, stunning and well maintained by the people running it. It is primarily a old goan dutch/ Portuguese style architecture. Food is gourmet and expensive as per its value. They provide authentic goan cuisine on the menu. Worth it! They also have a lot of open space in the dining area with lot of sunlight and greens around. It's really beautiful and quiet to dine in. Must go visit restaurant in Goa.

We had a wonderful breakfast at this café! I tried the Egg Royale, which was beautifully done, and my partner enjoyed the hummus with chicken – both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The atmosphere made it even more special; the café is calm, peaceful, and set amidst nature, which gave us the perfect start to the day. A lovely spot to unwind and enjoy a wholesome meal.

Interesting concept of a cafe and an art gallery. There are different rooms with themes, all centred around the main theme of the environment. It’s a good place to sit and work from. The smoking area is outside. The cafe is in the corridor. You need to scan for the menu and place your order online or directly at the counter. They have quite an interesting menu / mostly breakfast items. The coffees are good too. The egg Portions are quite small.

That’s on 7th August 2023 I am driving more of exploring Panjim. I’ve stopped at this place because I found the architecture was interesting. I stepped in and that more of cafe and Art collaboration space . I’ve ordered Black coffee and they served it along with a cookie. Coffee was great and more than that Cookie was too good. Not a fan of cookie’s, But loved this cookie at core. Great place , Artistic mindset ppl around as that seems to be a collaboration space. Loved it completely, and would love to hit soon again.

Cafe Bodega, a lovely little spot in Panaji, is tucked away inside the Sunaparanta Centre for the Arts. It has a lovely courtyard that is perfect for relaxing mornings or long afternoons. For breakfast, I had their Eggs Benedict, which was beautifully made. The soft poached eggs, silky hollandaise and the perfect balance of flavours made it a lovely start to my day. Later, I shared a light and crispy wood-fired pizza with fresh ingredients. Paired with their refreshing cold brew coffee, it was a truly satisfying meal. The warm and friendly staff made the experience even better. The open courtyard, surrounded by greenery and art, creates a perfect atmosphere for reading, working or just relaxing with friends. Cafe Bodega is not just about the food; it is about the soulful, relaxed and comforting atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

the pav bhaji here, and it was quite enjoyable. The flavors were distinct, and it wasn’t as spicy as typical South Indian masalas, which was a refreshing change. The balance of spices made it a comforting and flavorful dish. While I would have liked a slightly more intense kick, it’s great for those who prefer a milder taste. Overall, it’s worth trying this street food! But coming to dining they only have 2-3 tables so waiting time is a bit high in peak season.

A popular spot in Panjim for Pav Bhaji Lovers. Amul Pav Bhaji is a good option to choose from and they serve finely chopped slices of onion and tomato with Lemon slices to enhance the taste. You might find it difficult to get seated as it is crowded on the weekends and might have to wait for an hour or so to get the table.

The most delicious pav bhaji i ever had. The owner is very nice. Welcome you with a smile n a hello. The pav bhaji.....My mind just exploded when I took the first bite. Perfect balance of flavors. The service was supper fast. The bread was nice n crisp. I felt very happy after having something great.

Goa is known for it's Fish and Wine. I never could imagine I will be able to get such a superb Paav-Bhaji in Panjim area. Bhaiyya's Pav-Bhaji proved to be a real treasure for me a Pav-Bhaji lover. Excellently made Bhaji with that typical texture and aroma for sure. I really enjoyed it. Whenever I will visit Goa will surely visit Bhaiyya's Pav-Bhaji for sure.

If you are looking for a quick bite,this is the place for you. Steaming hot, tasty pav bhaji.. served quickly, without any fuss or waiting. Reasonably priced and surprisingly clean for a small joint.

To taste & learn to make authentic pav bhaji these ppl need to visit Mumbai, Pune . This was NOT pavbhaji at all , no taste of capsicum peas onion or garlic , it was plain batata bhaji with no trace of pav bhaji masala, even their garlic chutney had no garlic ! Tawa pulav was equally bland . To top it all their service was so poor that we had to get up & take plates, lemon etc as no one was interested in taking the orders too 🤦🏻‍♀️ The ambience? The whole place is set up on the road in the parking lot so best of luck if it rains u shall have to run around with your tasteless dishes to find an appropriate shelter…. So a big no from my end , it was just another hyped place 🤷🏻‍♀️

This serves really good Goan food. Their chicken cafreal was 10/10 along with that the chicken chilly was good as well as the beef chilly though the spice level was high. At the end the caramel pudding tasted quiet good.

The best Goan restaurant without any doubts. It’s in the middle of nowhere in Nerul village but if you ever visit Fort Aguada don’t miss the opportunity to taste authentic Goan food from here. 😋

Went there for lunch and had a good time. I tried the Feni that they made and even took back a bottle as a take away. For food I have the Tongue and the pigling roast and my vegetarian friend had the mushroom Xakuti along with some poie and rice. Last but not the least for dessert, the serradura just melted in your mouth. Highly recommended for Non Veg foodies.

I don't think it is a hidden gem 💎 for goan food anymore. Seafood, Sanna, Cafreal, vegetarian all are good here.. A must visit place if you want to experience how locals still enjoy good food :)

I travel to Goa often and hence I have tried food across all the major spots and eateries: The food was great here! Absolutely good. I also liked the way the order was curated and explained to us, before finalizing. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Goan cuisine in the Candolim/Calangute areas. I ordered multiple sea food dishes, chicken/meat and beverages. The politeness with which they ask and explain their orders, is also something praiseworthy.

When we walked into this little cafe on our first day of the trip, little did we know that we would be having breakfast for the next 5 days here! Warm, homely and simple food which was especially easy on the pocket (and stomach) , this cafe had traditional goan bhajis, paired with fluffy paos, puris and breads. We tasted all bhajis expect the Usal ( due to lack of availability) and found all of them flavourful. The Patal Bhaji was made of Potatoes and dry, the Alsande was Rajma, the Biya was made of Cashews and the Sangam, which as the name suggests was a medley of all. The quantity could've been a little more as we had to order 2 or 3 bhajis individually but the taste was on point. We were catered to with great warmth by Sanjay, Rupesh and Kabir across a span of 5 days. Rupesh was kind enough to give a complimentary taste of their fluffy Banana flavoured bread (puri it was) and Sanjay brought for us a slice of their traditional goan sweets.( Disclaimer- I am not writing this review under the influence of these freebies at all. 😂) . We tried the hot chocolate, which was not very different from Bournvita Milk and the lassi felt like blended shrikhand and i wouldn't rate them that high but the tea was nice & sweet and paired really well with their dishes offered. Cafe Tato also offers South Indian cuisine of which the Idlis I tried on the last day. The sambhar was great but the idlis could've been a bit fluffier. All in all, do try their bhajis and pooris for breakfast. You will leave happier.

We tried a variety of dishes: Cutlet – 3/5 ⭐ | ₹60 for 2 pieces. Decent taste but nothing extraordinary. Goan Pao – 4/5 ⭐ | ₹10 each. Fresh and soft, really enjoyable. Mushroom Cafreal – 3/5 ⭐ | ₹80. Good flavor, but the portion size felt quite small. Bombay Pav Bhaji – 5/5 ⭐ | The absolute star of the evening! The pao had a light stuffing, the bhaji was packed with flavor, and honestly, even though I’m not usually a pav bhaji fan, this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. ♥️ We also had tea and coffee, which rounded off the meal nicely. The ambience is cute and welcoming. Parking might be a little tricky as roadside parking is paid. Overall rating: 4/5 ⭐ – A great place for casual bites, especially if you’re craving pav bhaji near Miramar.

Best Goan food, very delicious and taste. I loved their cutlet and shake, also sangam bhaji n bun. I had eaten sangam bhaji at other local restaurant near bus stand in Mapusa market but after eat their bhaji I feel sore Thorat( gale me jalan) yaha pe humne 2 bar khaya but koi issue nh hua.

Decided to try iconic places of Goa serving goan specialities. This place was first on the list as my husband being biggest fan of Sachin. Visited on a weekday afternoon around brunch time.. and to our surprise place was almost full with mostly localites.. we ordered btata bhaji and red kidney beans bhaji, puri, bun (which is fluffy poori with banana), mirchi bhaji, samosa.. everything was delicious without lot of masalas yet tasty.. service was quick and staff was really good, managing crowd well.. Rates are very nominal even after all the hypes. Overall, must visit if you want to try authentic goan food.

Here again in may 2025 end when monsoons hit us again. Rupesh served us as usual, like his smiling face and good recommendations, Had Alsane bhaji , hot kanda pakoras or boji, tried the sabudana wada, just wonder how they made them heart shaped. As I was alone I decided to eat at a seat which was a two seater near the cashier. Food was lovely service was good. But I heard the cashier call a cleaning boy as " eh damaged piece idhar aa " Later I learnt that the boy was slightly low Iq .I do appreciate 🙏 that you were able to help that boy work but such language is a no no. .

Wow!! Hands down one of the best food experiences in Goa! Was initially planning on visiting another restaurant but our taxi driver recommended the Fisherman’s Wharf for our first meal in Goa and couldn’t be more grateful for that! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and an absolute dream for seafood lovers! Probably the best tandoori snapper I’ve ever had and loved the naan and extra items in the platter. The crab cars were steaming hot and super fresh- delish!! Even their continental dishes such as the pad Thai was so flavoursome and I could tell the Chef put in a lot of love and effort into their cooking. The service and ambience was excellent too and overall, a must visit!

The vibe of this place is awesome. Located right in the heart of Panjim. It’s an amazing dining place. It’s nested in an old Portuguese style home. The service was top notch. Sunny and Alok made sure we were attended to and also took care of our palette. The food is good. They also offer live music. The food prices are also affordable. Overall an amazing experience.

It's a super massive place with indoor and outdoor sitting. We had fresh catch - crab and jumbo prawns both made really well. The avo maki was also good. Please avoid the tiramisu.

It is a cozy spot with a very aesthetic vibe :-) We tried their Red Sauce Pasta and Lebanese platter, both of which were incredibly flavorful. The pasta was a standout. Their cocktail menu is impressive, and the Lemon Ice is a refreshing must-try. While the portion sizes might be smaller than expected, the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

Great ambience and an interesting menu, but food portions and taste do not match the menu description or the price. Service is slow. The pastas are average. Most shockingly, for a place serving Italian food, they're out of stock for bread.

One of those places that try to act fancy by treating their customers badly, really ruined our night. I had a headache and asked the manager to reduce the volume a little which he denied even though there was almost no one else at the restaurant, They could have easily accommodated us. Service was slow, there were mosquitoes and the risotto I had was as good as I’ve had at any other place. Wouldn’t recommend. Small portions, high prices. Don’t understand why was the vegetarian section so much more expensive than the non veg options, but yeah goes on brand with the bougie attitude.

I especially liked the atmosphere and music. During off-season the place isn't very busy but still very enjoyable if you like it a bit less crowded. I only had a starter but it was plenty, especially with the garlic bread served as a side dish. During elections the bar is closed and you can't get any alcoholic drinks.

We visited this restaurant after going through a few positive reviews. Firstly, I have to mention about the ambience. Looks very posh, very classy, perfect colour combinations. The pricing is a little on the higher side but the presentation was like the MasterChef dishes. No AC, outer seating. A huge let down is the mosquitos because of the natural plants. Each dish has a philosophy behind it and is presented as a reflection of their philosophy. We ordered Pasta (both Alfredo and pink sauce), omelette and garlic bread and Coffeholics anonymous for dessert. Each dish tasted great. No complaints for the price we paid. However, for a restaurant so stunning, the waiters were not that great. They were lost in their own world, and we had to return the dish back to the kitchen. But the singer that day, was awesome and just transported us to a whole new world.

This is very old classic restaurant. You get variety of food options here. They had divided into two sections, top floor serves non veg and bottom one serves veg only. Last time I visited, non veg section was closed. I had tried their veg thali which was good. All the items in the plate tasted really well including the chutney which added a unique flavour. Rajma prepared did not played well with my taste palette. Quantity of the items are fulfilling. They serve you two rotis and rice which will make you full for sure. Overall a good thali.

Not worth the price and hype. Tried the fish thali there. It's priced at 250 rupees and I was not quite satisfied with the quality of fish and the taste as well. The stars of a thali are the rice, curry and fish and I was not happy with either of them. I am guessing they add soda to the rice which kinda bloats you up after the meal. Next time, I tried their chicken fried rice and chilli chicken. 250 for chilli chicken and 180 rupees for fried rice would be great to pay if it was extraordinarily good. But the taste here was as good as a local Street side Chinese shop. So nope from my side.

Only Veg restuarant is open. Non Veg is closed for now. Tried out the Makkan Peda and Famous Punjabi Samosa. Great taste. 👌 Edit: Tried out some items from their Lunch menu ie Veg Pulao(3/5) too much oily and felt like Fried rice, Gobi Dry, little bit overfried (4/5) and Veg thali(4/5).

Since it was our last day in Goa, I had already explored many great restaurants in and around North Goa. This one had nice reviews hence we gave it a try. We reached around 2pm. We immediately got a table, but we had to wait almost 15mins for someone to come and serve us water. We tried calling them to take our order but they were on a complete ignore mode. someone would come in between, fully distracted and would rush off before taking orders. It's really frustrating when a waiter runs away without taking orders. Finally someone showed the mercy to take our orders, and when we tried to order fish thali, he said it got over since we were late. All that time waiting in the restaurant won't make a difference 😅. Finally we ordered rice separately with Kingfish masala, mackerel masala and rawa fry and prawns curry. Mackerel was ok.kingfish was good. Prawns curry was mediocre. One thing refreshing was the lime juice with soda. I personally don't like soda, so I told my waiter to bring one without soda. He was so confused and brought 5 lime with soda for 4 of us. 😁. That sums up the service.

Tried the Chonak Fish Thali at Peep Kitchen, Panjim — absolutely delicious! The fish was fresh and perfectly fried, with flavorful Goan curries and sides that tasted authentic. Ended the meal with Serradura, which was creamy and light. Great food, quick service, and cozy ambiance. Must-visit for Goan seafood lovers! 🐟✨

A very famous restaurant in Panjim for Fish Thalis. Had their Fish Thali which was a little disappointing because the rice was low quality and Fish was not fresh. The variety of items were less as per the price we were paying. Overall the service as they promptly provided us with freshly fried fish fillets.

I recently celebrated my mother’s birthday at Waterfront Restaurant in Goa Marriott, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! This is perfect place to have dinner looking at beautiful Mondavi river & back water. Its pleasant outside except Mansoon season. The staff helped us with perfect table arrangement for large group of us and chef specifically served the special dishes offered his choice as well as buffet food has variety of Indian, continental dishes along with deserts if various types. We truly enjoyed the food, ambience & service with smile. Its my 9ne of favourite place to have dinner ner especially with friends & colleagues.

They bake deliciously colorful breads. The basic Indian food is also great (but the Dosa did just that). It is very busy, but I express my gratitude to the staff who fulfill the order quickly and accurately. Even if it is a bit far from food, I recommend the terrace space where you can dine while smelling the sea. Of course, the barbed wire fence puts down the atmosphere a bit, but anything is good under the blue sky.

Positives - The place is well maintained, at great scenic point, good parking, clean, big property, just 5 min from heart of city. Negatives - The attitude of staff( as if dey own the hotel), they are not trained to handle large crowds i guess that's why on busy days dey get irritable. Food is only great in starters & live counter. Main course is a big no, especially what they call authentic Goan food isn't at all. Desserts are yum. Extra ordinary location and extra ordinary ambience. The hotel cum resort is a must visit place to enjoy good food, good ambience and also a memorable stay. One of the finest Marriott hotel that I have been to. As the name says, it is located in front of water. That makes it memorable. One can get a ferry ride from within the hotel. The location in Panjim is very convenient and nice.

Absolutely amazing Brunch. We came here on the 1st of January. The brunch is so big and so awesome. There alcohol and non alcohol options included. The Brunch is so big it is hard to try everything. Seafood, meats , cheese , so many salads. The list goes on and on. To rate this would be a 9 out of 10. Unfortunately there was no oysters

Celebrated my birthday here! Tried this place on my friends suggestion We went on the weekend , it was super crowded. You literally have to sit outside for your table. You can reserve it before hand also. But reach in that time slot. After waiting for so long , finally we got the table. Service was also bit slow. Had to tell the waiter several time. Been recently to this place after many years for a dinner outing. I would recommend this place as has ample sitting place and parking place. Good for mini family celebrations. I tried their urrakcocktail was so refreshing and new. And the salt and pepper chicken . Along with main course some Sri Lankan prawn curry and rice. And ended the night with devil's cream. A simple devious meal wholesome.

The Latitude restraunt at Vivanta Panjim, Goa is a great place with a lovely vibe and ambience and great food. Vivanta has a vallet parking and the reception is very welcoming. The Latitude restraunt has a buffet aswell as an alacarte menu. Loved the passion fruit mocktail. I tried Chinese and Indian cuisine for the evening. The Chilly Chicken was lip-smacking. The butter chicken gravy was really good. The service of the staff and hospitality is just perfect! A must try dinner place in the Capital city.

One the best chicken lollipops I have eaten. Called the Mhd Ali rd lollipops, i think these chicken lollipops will given the ones at Mohd ali road a run for money, Super recommended. I ended up eating on this in the entire 5-start Taj buffest I loved it so much.

Points for why I rated the service low: Misinformation about buffet charges: Upon inquiry, the manager quoted a price of 1000 rupees per plate for the buffet, but upon receiving the bill, it was inflated to 1250 rupees per plate with a supposed 10% discount, which was not initially communicated. This lack of transparency was disappointing. Inadequate safety measures for children: Despite requesting an infant chair, the one provided was not stable, resulting in my daughter falling and getting hurt. Although they offered a chocolate to console her, it was insufficient considering the circumstances, especially with another child present who also desired a treat. Lack of proactive service: While I understand the challenges of managing a restaurant, as someone with experience in the service industry, I expect a certain level of attentiveness. It would have been considerate for the staff to anticipate the needs of patrons with young children, such as providing chocolates for both kids or ensuring the safety of the infant chair beforehand.

Excellent Hospitality from staff. This Taj hotel in general and latitude restaurant in particular setting benchmark in Hospitality industry. I have visited many reputated star hotels but no one is near Taj Hospitality. My family enjoyed the dinner and will remember it long. Special thank to Hospitality staff Dilip and Akanksha for there charming service and positive response.

The ambience is superb. I had been there a couple of months ago with a friend of mine. The buffet does not look so attractive. The salad counter was a mess. Lettuce n other ingredients fallen out of the platter . The staff needs to keep a check every moment. Service at the restaurant (latitude) is excellent. Pathetic service at the entrance, first of all there's no enough parking space,secondly the wallet parking people don't even bother to ask you. The lobby staff did not greet. I have been to almost all 5star hotels, but this one is the worst among all.

This place is a classic in panaji! The food is delicious. The Goan Samosa is a must try! The quality of the food is also amazing, yes it's a bit expensive compared to other similar kinds of restaurants but I think it's worth your buck, for the quality, taste and atmosphere they provide is great. I really liked the interior of the whole restaurant, with the beautiful chandelier hanging above. It's a nice vibe.

Cafe Real serves a really good mix of bhaji—patal bhaji, sukhi bhaji, tomato bhaji—along with pav and tea. Everything tastes very nice and makes for a perfect Goan breakfast.

Goan Samosa and Patal bhaji Pav , is something you must try of to enjoy Goan Delicacy. Pocket friendly meals and authentic taste. We also tried Mirchi Bhaji and Onion Pakoda. Onion Pakoda was not hot though and Nimbu Paani with Perfect balance of flavours

The setting of the place is nice. Comfortable seating. I had ordered tea, coffee and samosa. The taste of samosa was good, their chutney was delicious. A must try. Most of the items mentioned in the menu card were not available. Only limited options were available during the time I visited, which is evening time. The service was not so good I would say, it runs very busy, does not wait for a minute to think and choose another item if one is not available. Overall the place is nice and cozy.

Another landmark cafe in Panjim area. We have been doing takeaways for a long time from here. It was out first dinein experience. Off the bat the place looks nice, albeit small. Service is susegado, laid back. If you are used to cafe bhosle's quick effecient service then U'd find them slow. We ordered mix baji pav, Uno bread served with this was excellent. Baji was taste too. Coffee was delecious. Parking: there is paid parking on the same road as the restaurant. Easy to find spot if you are here before 9am.

Great food and great experience! Located at the centre of the capital, i stop here everytime I'm around the city for a snack. The place is beautifully designed and I think it is one of the oldest cafe in Panaji. I'll tell you why I love the snacks I have here, it's because they serve it Hot, they serve in fast. Mind you the place fills up quickly during the busy office hours. I somehow managed to snag a place. Hoping to visit soon!

No valet parking available It’s a small restaurant with no ambiance and decor. The food is prepared with lot of care and someone who wants to try and eat authentic Konkani and Goan dish need to visit. I ordered a fish Thali and asked to make a Kalamari fry with Goan spicy curry. I loved the food. The quantity was actually a bit more for me and the price limited. Coming back again

Went here on a Monday night for dinner at around 8.30 PM. Not a soul around other than us and the restaurant staff. The food was very average. We took the king fish and chunak fish tali. The only element that was good was the fish curry in the tali. The king fish piece was so thinly sliced, didn't find it worth the 350 rupees paid for the Tali. A dry chapati, unnecessary gravies added to the Tali, very diluted Kokam drink. Overall a very average and disappointing experience.

After watching lot of reels about this restaurant i visited there along with my family. To my utter disappointment this was the worst experience ever. Extremely unhygienic place and food. The food had no taste at all. Worst food i have ever tasted in my life. The vibe of this place is wierd. The influencers who have made reels on instagram and who are giving positive reviews on google are paid ones. The glasses, serving plates, spoons and everything was extremely dirty. Avoid this place if you do not want your goa experience to get ruined.

Visited this "quaint" North East (NE) cuisine restaurant, in by-lanes of Fontainhas (Mala, Panjim), Sunday lunch. (Google maps helped us). This place gets known mainly by word of mouth; Mona the owner is fine with that. Mona was kind to go through the menu (3 pages) with us, and guided us in shortlisting items. Cocktails: Red lotus (gin based) cocktail - recommended; and Virgin Red lotus. Starters: Roast chilli pork, and prawns in dry bambo shoot - both highly recommended. Entrée: Black sesame pork Curry (comes c rice) - good, and shillong chilli pork noodles - super. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for unique NE cuisine; and if you are a pork lover then definitely mark this place in your must 'go-to' list. One needs atleast a couple of visits, to do justice to the menu variety. Note: Currently, rates are inclusive of Taxes. There is a 10% SC.

Wanted a new and different experience and got exactly that. Very authentic Northeastern food, the staff is really helpful if you need recommendations. Parking is a bit issue if it's a busy time. Not a very spacious place (I am 6ft) but really good decor and that adds to the experience.

Was waiting to review this place. The owners are great guys. They come forward to help you with the selection of dishes as per your palate. I loved the pork momos here, and the second most fav was prawn in fermented bamboo shoot. I loved their exclusive chilli oil. Chilli oil and plain rice itself was a great combo. All pork items were great too... Loved it overall. Deserts and drinks were at another level

Do not be discouraged if you see the 'closed' sign during working hours. Just call them and ask for reservation cause that's what we did. We really wanted to eat here and thankfully, we got a chance to. It was worth it in the end! Their Pork Momos are genuinely the best momos we have ever had. We even ordered more for takeaway. Moreover, we had Chicken Curry in Fermented Bambooshoot with rice which was really good. It was flavourful and wasn't spicy at all. We also had Black Sesame and Tiramisu gelatos. It was my first time trying out Northeastern food but certainly not the last! We ordered their Shillong Street Style Noodles a few days later through Zomato. Delish and different from what I am used to.

Finally went to this quaint little place @soulchefgoa located in the beautiful lanes of Fontainhas to try the wonderful North Eastern cuisine. And it was indeed a feast from the east as promised. I will highly recommend all the 3 wonderful things that I tried Mushroom in black sesame which is basically north eastern take on stir fried mushrooms. Pork chops in bhut jolokia sauce and jaggery which had that brilliant spicy jhatka that we like balanced perfectly with that jaggery served with a traditional mashed potato. Anyone who loves some spice in their food this is what you need to order. Lastly tried the chicken thukpa which was rich flavourful soup having noodles, lean chicken and veggies which is a meal in itself. Really wanted to tey their chorizo momos as well but they had already sold out. Due to covid they have only a single table outside but they do give deliveries and are available on swiggy and zomato. And the owners informed us that they are soon moving to a bigger place. If the food is as good as it was then I'm definitely in for another visit

The food is delicious. We ordered chilly mushroom,pork ribs, bhootjholakiya prawns and Assamese style cooked fish curry with rice. Everything was delicious especially the pork ribs were so wonderfully cooked and juicy. The homemade gelatos we got for dessert were also great. Service is apt, the place is very clean and the hosts are super friendly. A must visit place.

AMBIENCE- 5 STAR Good and Vibrant vibe. Great for a lunch outing with friends, or fun meets. Service is good (owners take order and serve food themselves right now, I think which made me feel very welcome). Food- Loved their Sikkimese Thukpa Bowl. 5 STAR. Taste was totally amazing. Would definitely order this again. Chicken wings - 4 STAR. Sauce was kind of gluey and sticky to the fingers. However, the taste was amazing. Beverages- Fresh lime water: Good (flavoured perfectly- not too tangy, a moderate blend of sweet and salt). Ginger Ale- They give you canned one. Works fine as a replacement for beer or coke to go with Chicken wings.

Food was incredible and so were the drinks. We went there for my brother’s birthday and the service was incredible. Simran was so lovely, she recommended the best drinks and food. She also got us a surprise birthday dessert which was really nice of her. Overall 10/10 food, service, ambience, drinks and people. Would recommend this place if you’re in Goa.

Miguel’s was on my list to visit in Goa - SO glad I made it. Great cocktails (I wish they had some more options though). And the vibe was AMAZING! Great crowd and music. Had the best time here. Easily our best meal over three days in Goa! We came in on a recommendation for an early dinner with our young kids and it was fantastic. The staff was so warm and welcoming and every dish was incredible. Great cuisine for grown ups and little ones alike, plus excellent cocktails.

This is a must visit restaurant in the heart of Panjim. They have superb fusion cuisine and drinks with delicacies from Portugal, Brazil and South America. It was a great opportunity to enjoy Maderian Poncha which one doesn’t get easily. All the dishes we had were delicious and one could feel that the chef and the team had made special efforts in preparations! We were served by Simran, a very polite, pleasant and knowledgeable hostess. Overall full marks to Miguel’s all team members!

Best restaurant I’ve been to in India (golden triangle + Goa). Vibes are impeccable. The tomato tartare is one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time (coming from an NYC native). Came during a pop-up which was fun but unfortunately couldn’t access all items on their expansive and delicious sounding menu. Got the cornetto/cone for dessert 11/10 must get.

The ambiance is great. Value for money is great. Service good. Goan starters are good. Ice visited many times and liked the food But The sausage pulao is disastrous. Pulao with undercooked vinegary sausages placed on top. The pork amsol is a watery mess. For a Goan restaurant an absolute sacrilege. The waiter assured me that there was nothing wrong with the way the mains were served. Very disappointing.

A tavern in the heart of Panjim that takes you back in time, Clube Nacional is a place that transports you back in time, a true gem of sussegad Goa. Their food is really good, pick any of their bread snacks and the fillings are well made. I think they have one of the best prawn rissois I've tasted in Goa, and their beef croquettes. I unfortunately ate a meal before visiting here and had a few drinks here apart from small bites so I'm looking forward to visiting again and doing justice to the food.

Good goan food at decent rates. However, they've recently started with live music / karaoke which is disastrous. The music is too loud and given that there is not much of space, you tend to feel uneasy. Even after asking them to reduce the volume of the music, the waiter arrogantly refused.

A nice simple speak easy with a good collection. Quick efficient staff and delicious local fare. Loved the tongue and beef cutlet bread. I was a bit disappointed with the chicken cutlet.

Liked the sausage bread. The sausages were well cooked and the bread was nice as well. Also tried the beef chili fry, pork roast, and sausage pulao which were all a huge disappointment. While the staff is pleasant, the service is extremely slow. Probably wouldn’t go here again

If you are a tourist and not interested in buying anything even then you should have a look at this area. It will give you an insight into Goa's fabulous culture and traditions.

Panjim Municipal Market is an elaborate local market where you can find everyday goods, groceries and other lifestyle related products. The huge area has sections allotted according to item type and there are tons of tiny stalls that'll have on display the products they are selling. Apart from the common fruits, vegetables, oils, dried fruits, and local spices, the market also has rare fruits and vegetables that are not easily available in common places. In addition to that, there are also a few apparel, fashion and handicrafts stalls where you can pick up clothes and other souvenirs.

I was impressed with the variety of flavors — all were nice and tasty. The seating area is good, though a bit small considering the crowd it attracts, which can make it feel cramped at times. Service is okay, nothing exceptional but manageable. Overall, a good place to enjoy some quality gelato.

Wanted to have sugar free Gelato. Unfortunately they did not have. Was very disappointed and had to leave without having any. All the displayed Gelatos are extremely sweet and will give you diabetes to land you in hospital for a renal failure. Not recommended.

Highly disappointed with my experience here. Where do I start? Croissant looked like it was half baked. It wasn't layered at all and was overall unpleasant. Salmon wasn't the freshest. And the prices were just unreasonable for what we were served. The cortado I ordered wasn't nice at all. The pizza bread was nice-ish, but the overall pizza? I wouldn't dare order it again. Plus the service was the worst. Everything took way too long to come and they kept forgetting that we had to be served. The plates were not cleared for the longest time even after we had left the place. There were flies all around, which is somewhat understandable because we sat outdoors but I think it could be curbed if the tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as the customer is done with the meal. The one star is solely for the aesthetics of the place. Cute tables, nice ambience for a quaint little cafe.

Baba au Rhum corner is located inside the cream choc gelato in Panjim nearby miramar beach! They have a really great menu to enjoy amazing food. This is more of a breakfast place and the best place to enjoy best sandwiches, quiches and salads here in Goa! We tried some of their unique dishes and here's what we have to say about them ! 1. Chicken nicoise salad - This was the best salad we tasted in Goa. Consisted of caprese lettuce, boiled eggs, chicken, olives, gherkins, tomatoes along with a mustard dressing. The veggies were so fresh and the taste, just purely amazing. This salad will not only fill your stomach and it's a healthy option too ! 2. Roast beef croissant sandwich - Filled with roasted beef strips, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese this croissant sandwich was really delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly and the flavour was exquisite. This sandwich is a must try when you're at the corner. 3. Bacon and cheese croissant sandwich - Filled with bacon and overloaded with cheese, this sandwich again is a delight in your mouty. Its advisable to gobble it up once served. 4. Mocha frappe and raspberry slush - The raspberry slush shall brainfreeze you and the mocha frappe is overloaded with cream that you might wanna lick the glass at the end. 5. Waffle sundae - We choose this dessert to be enjoyed at last. It was overloaded with whiskey cream gelato, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and sugar sprinkles. You might wanna never let it finish as it's a heavenly dessert. This outlet of baba au rhum is a collaboration with cream choc gelato and hence you'll get a good variety options in their menu. We are definitely visiting again so should everyone in Goa!

Cute little house , renovated in a restaurant on the famous 18June RD and has a outside sitting area in the Garden Even though you are in the city you feel disconnected to it in this place We had just popped in for some coffee and icecream. They have a gelato stand and the display is good we tasted all of them , they were good But being raised in Italy my wife expects better than good so we ask them to serve their best and they did it was a Belgium chocolate gelato ,it was excellent and yummy , satisfying delicious 😋 We had a coffee and a almond custard filled donut that was the real deal too good 😍 Loved this place the staff was friendly and very helpful. The place decor was good too .

Okay the pain au chocolate used to be literally my favourite thing here but recently they haven't been putting as much filling as they used to, it was kind of disappointing. The pizza is great too and pairs v well with their coffee(which btw is to die for <3). The prices are a bit too high for some stuff but it's okay i guess. The atmosphere here is just absolutely wonderful. Nothing but vibes all around. And the stuff also aver sweet and helpful. Definitely try it outt!!

One of the best Fish Thalis you have in a budget of just Rs.100 in Panjim, Goa. Great for some daily dose of seafood. Very simple Goan flavoured Fish Curry Rice & Fried Fish (the best) that gives you a taste of homely food over here.

All time Favourite for just their Fish Thali and the chicken biryani...my go to place for lunch whenever I visit Panjim..the rates of most of the dishes are pocket friendly..and the staff and owners are very nice people..it's suggestable to visit before 1:00 pm...coz they finish up real quick...

I used to often go to this place for a fish thali when I was in college....been there recently after about 20 years and the quality of the thali is still the same.....affordable and good...

Really like the vibe of the place. It’s an art museum cum cafe and also a great place to work out of. Each room has a different theme and they all centre around the central theme of conservation and saving the planet. The ‘cafe’ is in the centre. You can place your order online or at the counter. The shakshuka was disappointing and the portion was small. Really liked the chick pea sandwich though - wholesome and delicious. They serve nice coffees and coffee-based drinks too

Such a pleasure visiting Cafe al Fresco in Panjim! We were traveling back from Basilicaof Bom Jesus and happened upon this place. It's set in a beautiful property with greenery and classic European architectural themes. The cafe was pretty quiet when we got there and our food was served with near promptness. We ordered the yogurt with fruit, falafel, mixed salad and a slice of lemon cheesecake, which was to die for. For drinks we got a fresh lime soda and mixed fruit juice. The food and drinks were all freshly prepared and tasty and the ambience of the interior was so calming and peaceful. Plus it's a great spot for taking pictures! Would definitely recommend folks visiting/in the Panjim area to go check it out sometime!

The Cafe is a perfect place to meet friends and have a good cup of coffee along with the tasty fare offered. I tried the avocado Hummus sandwich and also the date and coconut vegan cake. Absolutely delicious. My daughter had eggs in purgatory. Perfect place to unwind during a visit to Panjim :)

Situated in a art gallery this cafe is very pretty. Unfortunately it’s also super crowded. They have a strange system of needing to send a WhatsApp message to reserve a table which was … unique. We got a table after about 45m of waiting which is pretty high. We spent the time just touring the galleries. Once we got the table the staff was friendly, we whatsapped the ordered and the food came out. The service was slow but the food was great. The drinks came a few hours after we finished our food :) I still am giving this five because it’s an encapsulation of Goa - beautiful and quaint, artistic and laid back and eventually captivating.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The setting is gorgeous. Such great vibes. We came here with our then almost 3 year old back in February 2021 and enjoyed coffee and chocolate croissant and both were delicious. We came back in December 2021 and tried few items from their breakfast menu like omelette, turkish eggs and salmon eggs benny over waffles - too good! Their christmas dessert was delicious as well The ambiance is just breathtaking so come and enjoy this beautiful place in Panjim. We read ample negative reviews about service etc but didn't experience anything negative. Give this place a try :)

This was a wonderful visit and was on our wishlist. It's a gallery and cafe. I was excited to check out all the galleries (totally 4) each of them had its own message and art defined. Cudos to all the artists. Coming to the food , it was filling and tasty. We ordered a lot of food (both veg and non veg) and the staff was very polite and quick enough to deliver it . Tye fresh juices are a must try along with the deserts. We friends enjoyed our time here . It's a must go if you are around that place .

This place will certainly clean bowl you. The property will take you back into the Portugese colonial era. An excellent spot to kill a lazy afternoon. Sitting in the corridor around an open courtyard in the middle of this colonial bunglow gives the place a special touch. And coffee, sandwiches and burgers are excellent. They have someone in the kitchen who certainly is good at his job. And apart from the food they have a permanent art display also for those who are interested. Highly recommended for repeat visits.

Had authentic goan chole sabzi with poori and bun along with aloo vada which was delicious at its peak. Clean neat place with very hospitable people along with quick service. An old café which gives a taste of goa's incredible history.

One of the most popular place for early morning breakfast. The place is mostly bustling with people in the morning to grab a quick breakfast before starting their day. Most popular items are Goan pav with Bhaji, mirchi bhaji, samosa and mashroom bhaji. Service is quick and prices are reasonable. Food is really fresh all the time I have been there. Must go place.

This place turned out to be our most favourite place for quick snacks, very quickly we made more than couple of visits, you must try their Puri Chhole, Pav Butter, Chai, Samosa and Hot Batata Vadas. Our first visit was in the evening around 4-4.30pm, perfect time for some Chai. They had just topped the Batata Vadas, Mirchi Bhaji and Samosas so we ordered some of them. All tasted amazing. We also loved their Pav Maska (Pav Butter), super tasty Pavs nicely coated with butter. They also prepare lovely Chai, they do ask if you want Special Chai, but I’d suggest go for the regular one. Special tea will be more thick in milk, folks who prefer thick tea can opt for it. Service is super quick here and the vibe gives you the likes of old Bombay! Beautiful ambience, great service and great food.

Stopped by here for a evening tea and snack (mirchi pakoda and a goan samosa),which was served hot and just out of the kitchen and all for as little as Rs40. It all tasted👍. The place is usually filled with office goers but you wouldn’t have to wait long for a place to sit.Do stop by if you are in the neighbourhood and help support small local eateries!

Cafe Aram has the worst food. The behaviour of the staff and the owner is next level worst. They don’t know how to talk to customers and they yell and scream on customers. Apart from that the taste is really bad and the charges are not worth food. And also, when I complain regarding the bread, which was very small. He yelled and screamed on me with heated argument. It was very bad when you complain about something and the owner of the cafe, yell and screams at you in spite of saying that I will, change it or a soft apology . Worst 😤😤

Very delicious menu for tea time. The bhaji is awesome as well as the samosa is so tasty. The chatni is to die for. Yummy food.

Such amazing food with a calming ambience. A must-go restaurant for goa newbies like us. The thali was amazing, not too much oil and the texture was perfect. Even got rounds of second as the dish was way too good.. ☺️👍 Highly recommend. And thank you aunty for your hands which God has blessed you with to make such amazing dishes May more people find out about this amazing cafe.

If you love freshly made food, this place is a must-visit! It’s a quiet, rustic rooftop spot with a lovely Goan vibe. Of course, when in Goa, a fish thali is a must, and this one looked so good we completely forgot to click a picture! We also tried the chicken cafreal, and it was absolutely delicious. Since everything is made fresh by the owner, there’s a short 10-15 minute wait, but trust me, it’s worth it! The Fish thali had rice, Rawa fish 🤤, shrimp, mussels, some vegetables and kokum .

This place is run by a family which serves nice Homemade food. Food was served fresh and had authentic homemade taste. Good place to have authentic meal.

If you’re in Morjim and craving some real, homestyle Goan/ kokani food – this place is a gem. The fish thali here is super fresh, full of flavor, and made with so much love by Kaki. It honestly felt like eating a meal at home – simple, tasty, and comforting. The fish curry was spot on, the fried fish was crispy and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for that authentic, home-cooked vibe in Goa!

Food was too good. I really didn't expect it to be that good but it was one of the tastiest thalis I've tried. Fat fish really didn't compare. Must try. Very budget friendly too and homemade 🫶

The authentic goan fish thali along with fresh fish plate is available at very reasonable rates and with peaceful ambience. Kingfish thali, Rava chonak fry,recheado prawns and recheado kingfish must try!
