1Cafe Bhonsle - Panjim

Cafe Bhonsle in Panjim is a must-visit for those looking to savor authentic Goan flavors. This iconic cafe offers a variety of delicious dishes, including Viva Panjim and Kokum Curry. For vegetarian options, head to Cafe Tato or Anand Ashram. Seafood lovers will enjoy the phenomenal fish thali at Kokni Kanteen.
Legendary place with lots of nostalgia, being a Gaon this place was our go to pit stop after school, evening quick snacks after shopping on the 18th June road. The place serves Goa's best Alsande and Batata Bhaji with Undo. Also the mirchi bhaji, bun are fantastic. Always busy with locals and tourists, must visit when you are in Panajim. Also has a branch at Mapusa

Wouldn't recommend at all. Very rude staff. They are not welcoming at all don't know how to speak politely to customers. No one should even think of going here. Any corner tea place will have same taste with better behaviour of staff. Their waiter names Jimmy's behaviour was exceptionally rude.
Abhishek S — Google review
Bustling with customers, but satisfying food and attentive staff. Cafe Bhonsle is an over 100 years old established serving authentic food, especially the breakfast spread. From Goan favourite pao & bhaji to puri bhaji to butter & bread etc etc. Do try the yummy chai to end your meal.
Zara — Google review
I ordered two kinds of pav and the bread is so hard that you can't even tear it and it's hardly chewable.they are supposed to heat it on tawa for the bread to be eaten or else it's just like Rubber. The Tea, poori and Mirchi Bajji were good but the curry provided is not upto the mark compared to other local Goan cafes.Overall it didn't meet my expectations and overall hype on reels n social media.
Kushal K — Google review
A popular veg restaurant in Goa We used their ac dining which is a bit pricier than the non ac We had their thali, patal bhaji with buns, manchow soup. The tea was good. There is a single and double tea but The qty of doibke was disappointing as it was not quite double.
Pranav B — Google review
Few years back when I ate at Cafe Bhonsle Porvorim, I loved everything. So this time I went for Cafe Bhonsle and was sheer disappointed. They just had Bun and Bhaji, and Samosa (as the guy said) - nothing else. I understand we reached 1 hour before the closing noon hours but it was 1 hour remaining, so we don't understand the behaviour. Samosas we ordered were actually Aloo Bonda. And when we confirmed with the guy he said Samosa was not available so I brought bonda. I mean he could have asked, but he just brought the bondas. The service was super delayed. Buns were good, sabzi was not as they just had Salad bhaji. Tea was essentially just Milk and Tea powder cooked, no other taste. So although iconic landmark place of Goa, it hasn't stayed strong in test of time.
Ami D — Google review
I don't think this place needs any introductions..it was packed with a queue of people waiting for a table. Luckily enough, the waiting time is quite low, and we were seated soon. They have a separate AC section where the price of food is slightly higher. Ordered the typical Chilli bhaaji, batata vada, buns, and Goan samosa. All of them were a treat to the taste buds. The chilli are not those big frying ones. These were normal cooking chillies coated with layers of dough batter and quite spicy, too. A must visit place when in Goa.
Nivi P — Google review
Cafe Bhonsle have amazing authentic goan food, we specially come here for breakfast and snacks for the goan samosa and sweet buns it's the best and then their mushroom bhaji and mixed bhaji too. It's the best. Must visit when in Goa !Instagram handle : @saviathebakecook

Caravela Cafe And Bistro is a charming and cozy bistro located in the picturesque lanes of Fontainhas, Panjim. It's known for serving a full English breakfast with generous portions of egg, bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes and potatoes. The cafe has a homely decor and warm ambiance that makes it an ideal spot to enjoy quality lunch while exploring Panaji.
Went here in March 2025 A cozy place at the entrance of Panjim. Nice vibe to it. We had the carrot cake with cream on top which was sublime. The cake was moist and smooth and the cream really went well with it. The prawn rissois were freshly made and hot, with a nice prawn and cheese filling , the best ones I have had till yet. The Pain au Chocolat was good as well, very chocolatey and soft. The chicken pesto croissant was the best, the chicken bits tender, and the pesto sauce with the lettuce complimented it very well. Would definitely recommend this. I had also tried their blueberry cheesecake on an earlier occasion which was heavenly. Would also recommend it. The only part I did not like was some local tourists coming to this nice place, ordering something nice and then completely WASTING the food (not eating it). It’s was an insult to this awesome place and a total lack of civic sense. Be sensible people!!
Varun K — Google review
Food: Tried the fresh fruits and syrup pancake along with a butter croissant. The pancake was fluffy and comforting—classic feel-good breakfast food. Fresh fruits and syrup paired beautifully. The butter croissant had a delightfully crispy, flaky crust with a dense, layered interior that offered a satisfying bite every time. Ambience: The space radiates warmth with its cozy, homely decor and mellow music. Thoughtfully curated snappy art pieces along with contemporary style add charm and personality to the cafe. Customer Service: Exceptionally warm and welcoming. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel right at home.

The breakfast platters here are to die for! I had the English breakfast, which came with sausages, scrambled egg, two hashbrowns baked beans, bread, a side of mushroom and some salad. Really filling. My other friends had the beef crocket, sandwiches, coffee and other breakfast platters (there are many types). It gets crowded easily so go there in the morning to early afternoon. Affordable too.

The best that there is. In our four day trip to Goa, we visited Caravela Cafe five times in total. Twice in Panjim and thrice at Candolim. Couldn't get enough of this place. Great coffee and amazing menu to select from. Visiting them for morning breakfast is the best thing to do. I fell in love with Almond Tosca. The staff and owners are very sweet. Just loved it.
Umesh G — Google review
Dropped in for a quick afternoon lunch and loved it! Fresh orange juice (no sugar), excellent cold coffee, cheesy pizza, tasty spinach omelette, and a first-class chicken club sandwich. Cozy spot, though be ready for some waiting during peak hours.

We looked up this place before entering Panjim, and it turned out to be a great find. The cozy ambience paired with the rainy weather made for a perfect breakfast setting. We began with the Eggs Florentine and Watermelon Feta Salad — both were exquisite. The Bombay Sandwich was a delightful surprise, packed with flavour. My friend had the Keema Pav and found it quite satisfying. One thing we noticed was the generous portion sizes — perhaps we ended up ordering a bit too much! While the pricing is on the higher side, it's justifiable given the quality and quantity. Staff and owner are friendly and they explained every ingredient with passion. Place was welcoming considering it was our first eat out in Goa. We wrapped up with a good cup of coffee, leaving the place refreshed and happy.

Loved my visit to this café! 💕 The food was super tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. But what made it extra special was the hospitality – the staff were so warm and friendly, really making me feel at home. The cozy vibe just added to the whole experience. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to! ✨☕🍴

The food was great and so was the service and vibe of the place. Dominic was a great host. I particularly loved the egg Benedict and the English breakfast. We had our brunch here on all days we were in Candolim, Goa.

Cremeux in Panaji is a vibrant and contemporary cafe that stands out for its delightful array of sweet and savory offerings. Nestled on MG Road, opposite the Customs House, this bustling spot is perfect for those seeking a quick bite or a leisurely meal. With an inviting atmosphere and stylish interiors, Cremeux serves up everything from scrumptious breakfast options to mouthwatering desserts that are sure to satisfy any craving.
Just had an incredible experience at Cremeux in Panaji! Everything about this cafe exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is so welcoming with those cool industrial vibes - love the exposed ceiling and warm lighting that creates such a cozy yet modern feel. The food was phenomenal! Those burgers are seriously next level - the buns were perfectly soft and fresh, and you can tell they put real care into every ingredient. But honestly, the Maska was the star of the show for me - absolutely divine and a must-try for anyone visiting! The flavors were so rich and satisfying. Special shoutout to Anthony, our server, who made the whole experience even better with his friendly service and great recommendations. The staff here really knows how to make you feel welcome. The whole vibe of this place is just amazing - perfect for hanging out with friends or even a casual date. You can tell this is a place that cares about quality, from the food to the service to the ambiance. Definitely coming back soon and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and good vibes in Panaji! 🍔✨

Almost everyday We go here for breakfast and evening snacks. This is our more than 20 visits. We love this place, vibe, and food. Loved latte coffee. Try kathi rolls over here. Also try Baguettes. Didn't like the parathas as it has less stuffing and more of floor layer. Prices are ok. Very nice atmosphere with cool music. The staff is very attentive, polite and has a smiling face.

The place is pretty chill here right in the centre of the city. We had white sauce pasta here and English breakfast all of it was yummy. The service was pretty quick too. Ample of place to sit. We asked for an extra portion of chicken sausages and it wasn’t on the menu but they served us.

Came at 8am for breakfast to Creameux Panaji. Excellant ambience, clean, ample pay and park space around the resturant, the continental breakfast and Indian breakfast were amazing. We got buy 1 get 1 free between 8am-10am which was an added benefit. Excellant service given by Ms. Alzira, who very sweetly and with a smile served us our breakfast. Must visit place.

Cremeux in Panaji is a cozy café and bistro located near Miramar Beach, popular for its inviting atmosphere and wide-ranging menu. It’s a great spot for casual hangouts, light meals, or a quick dessert fix. The ambience is relaxed, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and some outlets even feature games like foosball. Known for its pastries and baked goods, the Serradura (served in a jar) stands out as a crowd favorite. Their savory items like pizzas, chicken sandwiches, and pepper chicken baguettes are flavorful and generously portioned. Coffee and cold beverages are available, though reviews on their consistency vary. Service is generally friendly and helpful, with chefs open to customizations like gluten-free options. Pricing is reasonable, especially for breakfast and combo deals. However, a few guests have pointed out occasional delays in service and freshness issues with pastries. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours due to the central location. Despite minor drawbacks, Cremeux remains a favorite among locals and tourists alike for its variety, comfort, and value. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat, a quick meal, or a relaxed café vibe, Cremeux is worth a visit. Just go early to avoid the rush and secure the freshest picks.

Loved the dish, ambience (live singing), tried cheesy nachos, chocolate, hazelnut donut, pizza & garlic bread. They all were very good. Only thing they could improve is service time and response - had to wait someone to even give the orders. If you’re looking for a decent pastry and Italian, definitely prefer this place. Family friendly. Go in the evening to enjoy the live music!

Great food great coffee. Bang on the main road and yet so easy to miss. Parking can be an issue but you should find space across the road. Good sandwiches and pizza. Good coffee. Although They are a little tight on space. Staff is effecient and not intrusive. Overall a great place for conversations

A small and quiet place. Very nicely done interiors and cozy lighting. Needless to say amazing for dates :D. A lot of couples here! There's a high chance you'll not find a place to sit because of the limited seating here. As far as the food goes, it's pretty good! The burgers were filling :). Good choice of beverages (non alcoholic) too. All in all you'll find the rates are overpriced. But with the ambience in here, and the cozy interiors, you'll definitely have a good time and won't mind anyway.
Anuj K — Google review
Coffee The coffee here was really good, they serve Lavazza with a cookie. Ambiance Interiors are great, it's very artistic in here. One could sit and work as well from here. The only problem is if 2-3 tables are occupied it's gets a bit too loud. Location It's right opposite Kala academy. Could be quite tricky to find parking though. Overall its a great place!

Pizza, desserts, mocktails, cupcakes, sandwiches, gourmet coffee, books, guitar, comfy seating, cozy atmosphere, warm service ! Wow ! So many things under one roof. Black vanilla absolutely lives upto the word cafe and cafe culture. All the food and drink items are tasty, service is fast and nice. There is something magical about this place which will drag you inside every time you pass on the road next to it. That rustic wooden name board has some dark, black secrets which hypnotists their customers and makes them come back again and again! Cheers for the best cafe in panjim !
Rajat B — Google review
Great decor and perfect ambience for a good cup of cappuccino and their special NY cheese cake. Staff is cool, helpful in making the right choices, take a seat by the window on the first floor, and enjoy the beautiful sea view from within really smart and colourful interiors.
Shubham S — Google review
Love the coffee! The chicken burger was crisp and well cooked. Great place to sit and read. They have some books there in case you haven't taken any of your own. You'd want to visit this place in Panjim if your looking for somewhere you read and have a quick bite. They have a good menu and perfect for people with a sweet tooth!
Pratik J — Google review
If this rating was just for their ambience, i would definitely given a 5 on 5. It has a very rustic ambience that justifies their image of a French Cafe. Warm lighting and a very cozy place with some very nice hand-picked books to read while you sip on that coffee. The menu could have had more novel options when it comes to food. Nevertheless, the chicken salami and olives pizza that we tried was yum. The prices are the biggest let down. For an occasional visit, it's a great place to chill out in.

Nestled in the serene Fontainhas quarter of Panaji, Goa, Tea Trunk Tea Room is a cozy and charming cafe that offers a delightful tea experience. The cafe's decor features potted plants and reclaimed wood, creating a relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding with a book or engaging in conversation. Visitors can indulge in an array of tea options including iced hibiscus tea, chocolate Earl Grey, masala tea, and more.
On a particularly hot day, I stumbled upon this café by chance and had an incredible experience. The place is charming, cool, and perfect for spending a quiet moment. Kushpu, one of the staff members, was especially friendly—she answered all my questions with kindness and introduced me to new flavors, making it a memorable experience. The blue pea flower cupcake was truly delicious. I highly recommend visiting this spot, taking the time to chat with her, and savoring the amazing treats they have to offer!
권오승 — Google review
Being a chai person, I genuinely love the diverse options of tea flavours that this brand offers. Not only have I ordered their assorted sachets in the past, but have also been recommending it to my friends! And when the owner Pooja told me about their physical outlet in Goa, I was super excited to visit! However, I had one of the worst walk-in experiences. While placing an order, they didn't have three of the items I asked for, even though it had been a while since the "tea room experience" had opened that morning. Nonetheless , I ordered and was admiring the creatively cozy setting in the old Portuguese home. While I was clicking pictures, there was a massive argument between the front desk manager and the chef. It was definitely an unpleasant experience to sit there after that. I simply picked up a postcard, cancelled my order and left. Even the other customer walked out after that. I wish it could have been different.
Meenal B — Google review
I recently visited Tea Trunk Café in Fontainhas, Panjim, and it turned out to be such a cozy little gem. The location itself is beautiful—right in the heritage area, surrounded by colorful houses and old churches. The café is tucked just to the left of the church, and though it’s small, it has a very warm and inviting vibe. We had dropped in just for a cup of tea without really knowing what to order. I tried their lemon tea cake, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had—soft, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Their tea selection is also impressive, with unique blends that make you want to keep coming back to try more. If you’re in Fontainhas and looking for a quiet spot to enjoy good tea and cakes, this place is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves cozy cafés with character!

Dropped by this very quaint cafe for a quick meet up. We ordered their iced teas and cold coffee both were fabulous! This cafe is suitated in a Panjim's Latin quarter next to St. Sebastian chapel. This goan heritage house is converted into a nice warm cafe, their service was quick with polite stewards and thier menu is affordable. Ambience looks mediterranean. Parking right in front of cafe is not possible as it a walking street and no motor vehicles allowed on this street.

Bakery
Confeitaria 31 De Janeiro is a historic bakery in Panaji, Goa, known for its traditional baked goods and sweets. Established in 1930, this charming bakery has maintained its classic offerings and methods over the years. Visitors can indulge in a variety of treats such as patties, croquettes, bibinca, beef sandwiches, Goan cakes, kuls-kuls, marzipan, doce and guava cheese.
It’s a nice cozy place to go for breakfast or evening snacks.Bakery has started in 1930 and successors are running it. Their speciality is in Non-veg items however, they have good veg items as well. Place is very easy to locate from the famous church in Panjim. Public car parking is available.
Aniket V — Google review
Confeteria is definitely a piece of Goa’s old-world charm — they say it’s about 100 years old, and you can feel that heritage in its aesthetic vibe and location in Fountainhas. The interiors are lovely and photogenic, but sadly the experience didn’t match the charm. I personally found the staff a bit arrogant, maybe because they’ve been running this iconic bakery for too long. The pastries too felt quite average compared to the hype around the place. It’s beautiful to visit once for the history and the aesthetic, but I wouldn’t call it a must-visit for the food experience.
Pallavi G — Google review
The place is a heritage. But it doesn't live up on its hype and heritage when it comes to the taste. We tried 2-3 items and the taste was not good. The only decent item was the serradurra. Not a good experience.
Yash B — Google review
We tried the Brownie, Seradura pudding, Chocolate Rumball, and Swiss Roll — and everything was delightful! I have to say, this place served the best brownie I’ve ever had in my life. At ₹120, the portion size is generous — easily enough for two people. The brownie is dense, chewy, and rich in flavor, completely unlike the airy ones you usually find in big city bakeries. Truly a treat! 🍫 The Seradura pudding (a Portuguese-style milk dessert) was also excellent — creamy, smooth, and perfectly sweet, topped beautifully with crushed biscuits for texture. If you’re in Goa, Confeitaria 31 De Janeiro is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Authentic flavors, great portions, and wonderful value for money. 🍰☕️

They say that once in a lifetime you find a gem which you have been searching for all your life. This historic bakery turned eatery is one such gem. Cuddled in the arms of Panjim city, in the heritage site of what it is known as Fontainhas, the latin quarter of Panjim Goa. This area has an intervining network of small alleys and roads making it a site to behold surrounded by houses and residences with an old world charm. Interesting isn't it? This is the historic Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro bakery. Founded on the same day in the year 1930 which is duly marked on a board outside. They use traditional methods to bake stuff such as a wood fired oven(forn in konkani), it is a family run multi-generational business offering a mix of Goan -Portuguese and locally baked products. A variety of cakes such as plum cakes etc, sweets such as bebinca, dodol etc savouries and snacks such as beef patties, chicken/sausage rolls etc. are available. The taste of chorizo mini roll was remarkable. Though quantity of the same could increase. Also the seating, although limited gives good vibes (romantic) , the interiors is tastefully decorated with floral designs and vintage furniture. The mirrors strategically placed lifts up the mood of the place. Tea/coffee is served in the traditional blue and white coloured trays. Even the tile laced table has bordering tiles of the blue and white design. The centrally placed chandelier in the main hall is aesthetically appealing. All in all this place seems to have appeared from a Walt Disney animated magnum opus. (Pun intended) Ideal for all visitors and especially suitable for couples.

Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro is a charming bakery tucked into the heritage lanes of Fontainhas, Panjim. Established in 1930, it still uses its wood-fired oven to bake breads, puffs and Goan-Portuguese sweets with old-world flair. The ros omelette with poi and coffee was simple, flavourful, and comforting — a true local delight. We also packed a variety of cookies, especially the nankhatai, which were fresh and delicious. The place has a charming, old-world vibe — definitely worth a visit for a taste of Goan nostalgia. Note: It’s best to go early for full variety and seating is limited.
Ankur M — Google review
"Step into this charming cafe, established since 1930, and be transported to a bygone era! Despite its small size, this cozy haven packs a big punch. The vintage décor, Instagram-worthy spots, and warm atmosphere make it a must-visit. But the real star of the show is the bakery - serving up the best Goan treats that will leave you craving for more! A very small and a cozy cafe in the heart of Panjim. The owner takes the order by manually writing on her register and when she gives the food she cuts the item on the register. After you eat the food, tell her your name and she will tell you the amount you have to pay. This was pretty new for us. Food is decent. Rates are also ok. Overall people come here to click good pictures and eat something. There is a cat outside sitting always wanting food. Please give her some food if possible. Overall 9 on 10 cafe.

Padaria Prazeres, located in Panjim, Goa, is a renowned artisanal bakery founded by the husband-wife duo Ralph Prazeres and Stacy Gracias. Ralph's culinary expertise from working at Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide and Stacy's financial background have combined to create a bakery that has quickly become a favorite in Goa. The establishment is celebrated for its delectable freshly baked treats and captivating display, attracting food enthusiasts from various places.
Padaria Prazeres is a delightful spot for a cozy treat. We tried their Berliners, coffee, and hot chocolate—all of which were absolutely delicious. The Berliners were fresh and indulgent, pairing perfectly with the rich hot chocolate and well-brewed coffee. Service was impressively quick and efficient, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality justifies the cost—definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended for a sweet break or a casual coffee outing.

My favourite breakfast place in Goa. No matter where we're staying we make it a point to visit this cafe. Everything here is delicious. My personal favs - pasteis de natas, berliner and the BLT!

I wanted to visit this place since the first time I heard about in 2021 but never got the chance every time I went to goa. But finally this time I actually planned my stay close to this place so that I could visit without any intervention. And visited twice over the weekend. It was always busy and rightly so. On Sunday I got to see the service be led by chef Ralph and I loved what I saw coz he was so intense with every order he shouted it showed me how much he really cares about the food, the service, the customers. It was everything for me. Loved each and every thing I had. The beef pie, sausage roll, pasteis de nata, the coffees, the breakfast bagel, honey cakes, toffee pudding. I will come again, of course, because I want to try the egg preparations and sandwiches and the the pies and rolls againnn.

During my last visit to Goa we ate around 4 times in this bakery. There is definitely waiting especially during breakfast but it's worth it. The food is fresh and the coffee is so aromatic. Service is good.

A quaint and pretty cafe in Panjim which offers best vibe, food and coffee! My Almond milk Latte was very smooth along with the yum chicken bagel sandwich. The bakes were delish as well- highlights were crossiant, berliners and the bestt was pasteis de nata✨

European breakfast in India! We had an egg sandwich and a garlic bagel — really great ingredients and full of flavor. So far, it’s been the best breakfast we’ve had in India. Highly recommended for all European travelers!

Have heard soooo many good things about this place and it has forever been on my must visit list! Finally, made it and it was totally worth every bit of the hype! This quaint little cafe reminded me of the cafe frenzy back in NYC! From the most popular Pasteis de Nata, to cinnamon roll, followed by chocolate Berliner; it was indeed a delightful gastronomical experience! This place is usually packed and so, to make the most of it, also ordered eggs Benedict and iced Americano, followed by lip smacking garlic cream cheese bagel and soul satiating Piccolo (shot of Espresso + 20%milk!). Definitely going back for more!

A great café as well as a co working space which is cozy and can spend a lot of time here at Rasa. Went to have the chicken sandwich and the cappuccino and the sandwich is the best I've ever had anywhere... The teas are also great 👍

Cafe Rasa is an amazing relaxing river facing work cafe in the heart of Panjim city. This place is basically a café turned into co working space and has an artsy touch to it! Needless to say cafe has variety of food options to suite every palette! Service is good and Mr. Shiva who is restaurant manager is very kind & welcomes everyone with warm hospitality! A cozy place to relax and chill also you can use cafe wifi for you work. Do check out and visit if you're in the city. Highly recommended!

To begin with we had no idea that Cafe Rasa had a such a beautiful co-working space included within their premises, we had gone there for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to see that, along with the delicious food they serve, they also provide such an comfortable environment to work. We tried Eggs Benedict, Shakshouka, Sunny Side up, Mixed Fruit Smoothie Bowl along with their Coffee, everything tasted good. The views from the Cafe is phenomenal and environment very satisfying.

One of the best co-working spaces in Panjim. Conveniently located at the entrance of the city, with a garden on one side, looking over the old part of the city and the Mandovi river in the backdrop. As you enter the entire place has an amazing and positive vibe. It’s spacious, with a vibrant decor and the cherry on the cake is the friendly staff who always greet you with a warm smile. Coupled with a service so great, you don’t feel like leaving and enjoy every moment of your work in peace and serenity

Cafe Rasa apart from Hospitality was pleasant surprise. The place was really peaceful and has consciously designed. It is as if the place had a character. Their food where good too. I found their steak to be particularly good. Only area where they could improve is maybe how they communicate their tarrif and the requirement of spending a particular amount if working. In my case it was done in a very distasteful manner.
Safwan E — Google review
This is a lovely place well located with great views from the place. Loved the interior and the overall vibe of the place. The staff was very welcoming. Reached late so couldn't order much, loved the tea that we ordered. It has a co-working space too, for people who want to take their work to a cafe.
Sukalyan N — Google review
One of the best places to relax have food and get work done. It’s one of the few co-working places around; and it’s perfect. I’ve been going to rasa since last few months and the experience has never been bad. The cafe has large carpet area with different sections featuring different seating options. Low mattresses to high individual work tables. The cafe charges nominal amount of you want to sit and work here entire day. They have perfected the ambiance of co-working spaces with its functional amenities such as good Wi-Fi, handy colour printer and on table service of food if needed. The food choices are mostly cafe style nibbles with limited hot and cold beverages. Good coffee! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The cafe also features artwork and merch products you can purchase and makes a lovely addition in the interiors. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a place where you want to spend some time relaxing as well as getting work done.

Bakery
Geeta Bakery, established in 1948 during the early years of India's independence and prior to Goa's liberation from Portuguese rule, was founded by Anandan Malabari. This renowned bakery garners large crowds due to its delectable vegetable patties, which are equally as popular as their chicken and egg counterparts. Geeta Bakery is well-known for offering a wide range of fresh and delightful treats.
Affordable and delicious food! 😋 - The taste was amazing. - It's an over the counter bakery with no place to sit and eat. - Tissues are provided. - They don't accept UPI/digital payments 📵. Only cash is accepted. - It's an old bakery that's been operational since 1948. - I had a small biscuit, the staff said pineapple something, and it was the best! It cost only 7 bucks and it's made of coconut. Don't know why he said pineapple 😆 . ♿️ Wheelchair accessible. My visit was on 14 December 2023.

Food: Tried their veg puffs fresh out of the oven—flaky, buttery layers that melt in your mouth, revealing a mildly spiced, flavour-packed veg filling. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Also tried their coconut cookies, made with ground coconut—perfectly textured with a gentle sweetness. A hidden gem in Panaji that you shouldn't miss.

Their cookies and veg/non-veg puffs are must-try items, and the traditional Kerala taste shines through in every bite. What impressed me most was the excellent customer care – the staff are warm and welcoming. A Sweet Delight: Geeta Bakery As a vegetarian with a sweet tooth, I was thrilled to discover Geeta Bakery, a treasure trove of colorful cakes, pastries, and cookies. While the cookie options seemed a bit limited for a vegetarian however it offered variety of yummy-looking treats. For cookie lovers, I'd recommend two options: Either ask the shopkeeper to pack a 1/2 kg mixed packet (around 20-22 cookies) or opt for the 1 kg packet (double the fun!). I personally chose the 1/2 kg mixed cookie packet, along with a packet of cream-filled sweet buns (4 long, éclair-like treats).

Nestled in the vibrant heart of North Goa, Starbucks is a beloved coffeehouse chain that has captured the hearts of both locals and tourists alike. I visited Starbucks and, as always, the ambience was quite pleasant. The cozy seating, warm lighting, and inviting atmosphere make it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a coffee while soaking in the vibe. However, I felt that the food options could be improved. While they have a decent selection, I found that some items didn’t quite meet the high standards I’ve come to expect from Starbucks, especially when compared to locations abroad. It makes me wonder why Indian Starbucks sometimes feels a bit lower in quality than those in other countries. Overall, it's a nice place to unwind with a good cup of coffee, but I do hope they work on enhancing their food offerings to match the overall experience.

The Ambience is very good. But lacks parking space and needed to walk after parking around the corner. Food: Very consistent with other Starbucks outlets—coffee and sandwiches taste exactly as expected. If you are ever confused what to order, go for the ginger ale cold brew, having tasted almost all their drinks, this is very exclusive and exceptional in starbuks Customer Service: As always, exceptional service where you’re treated royally. Ambience: Loved the artwork and grand vibe. I spent the whole day here for work; every nook and corner was perfectly crafted with décor that matches their iconic theme. Great choice of music.

A good outlet that is just on the main road and is easy to reach. They mostly take their last order between 9-9:30pm everyday. The coffee and snack were fine and service was desirable. They have a good display and collection of available merchandise for sale. The sitting arrangement is well spread. Clean dining space and washroom. Friendly staff, guard and good parking space that can accommodate 4-5 cars easily. Payment can be done via cash, card and UPI. Budget and good hotel, stays are also nearby and at walking distance.

Cafe Tato since 1913 (Patto) is a historic cafe that has been serving delicious Goan-style breakfast for over a hundred years. It is a popular spot, especially in the morning, offering traditional options like suki bhaji and buns. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal place to start your day with a tasty meal.
Nice cafe with good food and friendly staff. I've tried vegetarian barayani, poori bhaji, chole poori, banana bunn, and dosa. Every thing was extremely delicious. While Sachin Tendhular, sir, was there, I went. The taste of every item was fantastic. The location is also excellent. If someone were to visit GOA, I would advise them to try this option. Every item was reasonably priced.

When we walked into this little cafe on our first day of the trip, little did we know that we would be having breakfast for the next 5 days here! Warm, homely and simple food which was especially easy on the pocket (and stomach) , this cafe had traditional goan bhajis, paired with fluffy paos, puris and breads. We tasted all bhajis expect the Usal ( due to lack of availability) and found all of them flavourful. The Patal Bhaji was made of Potatoes and dry, the Alsande was Rajma, the Biya was made of Cashews and the Sangam, which as the name suggests was a medley of all. The quantity could've been a little more as we had to order 2 or 3 bhajis individually but the taste was on point. We were catered to with great warmth by Sanjay, Rupesh and Kabir across a span of 5 days. Rupesh was kind enough to give a complimentary taste of their fluffy Banana flavoured bread (puri it was) and Sanjay brought for us a slice of their traditional goan sweets.( Disclaimer- I am not writing this review under the influence of these freebies at all. 😂) . We tried the hot chocolate, which was not very different from Bournvita Milk and the lassi felt like blended shrikhand and i wouldn't rate them that high but the tea was nice & sweet and paired really well with their dishes offered. Cafe Tato also offers South Indian cuisine of which the Idlis I tried on the last day. The sambhar was great but the idlis could've been a bit fluffier. All in all, do try their bhajis and pooris for breakfast. You will leave happier.

If you’re around Miramar beach, Cafe Tato is definitely worth a visit. It’s a cozy spot with a charming vibe and serves some authentic Goan and Indian snacks at very reasonable prices. We tried a variety of dishes: Cutlet – 3/5 ⭐ | ₹60 for 2 pieces. Decent taste but nothing extraordinary. Goan Pao – 4/5 ⭐ | ₹10 each. Fresh and soft, really enjoyable. Mushroom Cafreal – 3/5 ⭐ | ₹80. Good flavor, but the portion size felt quite small. Bombay Pav Bhaji – 5/5 ⭐ | The absolute star of the evening! The pao had a light stuffing, the bhaji was packed with flavor, and honestly, even though I’m not usually a pav bhaji fan, this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. ♥️ We also had tea and coffee, which rounded off the meal nicely. The ambience is cute and welcoming. Parking might be a little tricky as roadside parking is paid. Overall rating: 4/5 ⭐ – A great place for casual bites, especially if you’re craving pav bhaji near Miramar.

Such an iconic spot to savour some delicious Goan breakfast. We tried the sukhi bhaaji, tomato bhaaji and mushroom bhaaji along with fresh pooris and pav. This spot is old school and no nonsense - Small menu, delicious food and affordable prices

If you’re in Goa and craving authentic local flavours, Café Tato at Patto is a must-visit. This legendary spot is known for its typical Goan breakfast — the crowd-favourite Puri Baji, crunchy Mirchi Bhajis, crispy Onion Pakoras, piping hot Samosas, and even soft Dosas that pair perfectly with their strong, refreshing tea. It’s not just a breakfast place — the menu makes for a perfect evening snack stop too. No wonder it’s one of the most popular joints in town, buzzing with locals and visitors alike. Simple, tasty, and pocket-friendly — Café Tato delivers comfort on a plate every single time. 🌿

Visited on a weekday afternoon around brunch time.. and to our surprise place was almost full with mostly localites.. we ordered btata bhaji and red kidney beans bhaji, puri, bun (which is fluffy poori with banana), mirchi bhaji, samosa.. everything was delicious without lot of masalas yet tasty.. service was quick and staff was really good, managing crowd well.. Their buns with tea ...ooh what lovely comfort food Keep up the good work 👏 I love the food especially the local bhaji, have been a visitor to the original tato at panaji n margao during my college days. The mushroom bhaji n sukhi bhaji mix is amazing. Sunday service is slow n big rush Nov 2024, came today during lunch time n decided to have a thali . As I was alone I decided to eat at a seat which was a two seater near the cashier. Food was lovely service was good. A lot of the folks in our Goa Foodies WhatsApp group talk about Urban Anna, and that's how I first heard of it. When in Porvorim, my usual stops for South Indian food or budget-friendly food are Navtara and Bhonsle, but neither one is worth writing home about. So yes, Porvorim still has the space for another South Indian joint. True to South Indian places, this one is so super clean! The food is quick, affordable, and tasty - the golden trio that all budget-friendly diners seek. The first time, I had a perfectly crisp masala dosa, delicious ghee podi idli and dahi vada. The second time, my masala dosa was much thicker and not that tasty, but. the rest were on par. The mysore pak is perfectly soft and ghee-laden.

Bubble Cafe is a unique and vibrant spot in Panjim, Goa, known for its eccentric decor with fairy lights and wooden furnishings. Despite limited seating, it's a must-visit for bubble tea enthusiasts due to its delicious variety of bubble teas. The cafe offers authentic Thai bubble tea that isn't overly sweet and features chewy tapioca pearls. While the matcha flavor may not be strong enough, the classic flavors are well-executed.

We recently visited Bubble Cafe and ordered Thai Boba Tea, Boba Cold Coffee , and Veg Spring Rolls. Although both boba teas looked similar, I highly recommend trying the Thai Boba Tea—it was absolutely delicious. However, the prices are on the higher side and the quantity of bobas was a bit less than expected. Despite this, I enjoyed my experience and the food here.

Goa's first Bubble Tea shop!! The authentic Thai bubble tea was great, it wasn't too sweet and had real bubbles/pearls. The pearls are on the smaller side, but were delicious regardless. The service is fast and what you'd expect. There's no dedicated parking space but they do offer two dine in tables outside of the cafe. I definitely recommend going if you're looking for a quick snack and some authentic bubble tea.

If you have tried boba outside India, then you will understand the difference. First thing there was way too less boba in it. And it was too much sugary, I could only feel the sugar taste, not any tea taste. Price is pretty high for the quality.

Terrible place to try bubble tea. The bubbles were not cooked they were so hard. I tried Taro. Usually taro has green tea but there was no flavour of tea and the flavour of was weird. I hv tried bubble teas of many flavours in many countries but this one was terrible. Waist of money. I guess the people who reviewed below never tried bubble tea so they are saying original pearls n stuff. Yes the pearls are original but they don't know how to cook them. Not recommended. After one hour the water separated. I usually buy bubble tea and keep in the fridge and drink next day and nothing like this happens only the bubbles become hard. I have added the picture below.

Cháfé Braz, named after Goan jazz musician Braz Gonsalves, is a must-visit for lovers of jazz, samba, and bossa. Located at CIPA, it showcases local talent with concerts that sell out quickly. Visitors highly recommend it for experiencing authentic Goan Indo-Portuguese dishes often overlooked in Goa's diverse culinary scene.
Terrific place. I had the chocolate mousse and it was so good that I forgot to take a picture. Orlando, the owner, is warm and friendly as are the rest of his staff. He’s extremely passionate about preserving Goan/ Portuguese culture and it shows not only in the authenticity of the food he serves but in the wares being sold in the adjoining shop. Keen to try out the rest of their menu when I’m in town next.

The café is sweetly situated on a balcony on the first floor of an old Portuguese building on a busy and noisy street. You have to walk up a flight of stairs and through a beautiful tile shop. Unfortunately, the rest is disappointing, we were the only guests. After being ignored by the waitress for 15 min, we walked up to her where our order was scowlingly taken. After another 10min we were finally served a rather bland coffee (which looks in no way like the pictures here). Our Goa Almond tarts arrived after yet another 10 min and were doughy (probably not fully cooked?) and lacked of flavour. The Pastéis de nata which we actually wanted were unfortunately not available.

This place was closed when i came in the afternoon around 11.30 am. The owner didn’t say anything, just saying close. But in google map still written the cafe is open. So disappointing

This little hidden gem is a must visit! The menu might be limited but everything is absolutely delicious! The caramel custard tart & the saw dust pudding are a must try. They serve authentic Portuguese food that aren’t found in most commercial restaurants. The owner is a delight to speak to. Don’t miss this place

A nicely maintained aesthetically pleasing Art gallery. The Owner is a lively, knowledgeable person and we really enjoyed our visit. Incidentally, we could also enjoy some refreshing soft beverages there. It is definitely worth a visit to refresh yourself.

It was the best food spot we've visited in Goa. 💙 This is the place to experience the REAL GOAN Indo-portuguese dishes which often go unnoticed amidst the various cuisines offered to visitors in Goa. I would strongly recommend Cháfé Braz to every person, all those who's been to Goa and all those who plans to pay a visit. Miss this place and you miss the golden chance to experience the REAL OLD GOA. I look forward to visit the place every time I come to Goa.

Very cute Portuguese cafe, with delicious Portuguese bites, both sweet and savory. The service is excellent and the host are very warm and welcoming. We had a very cozy evening. The rissois is a must have!

Cháfé Braz is a very authentic Portuguese art gallery with genuine Goan - Portuguese snacks. Felt very homely and pampered. It's a must to visit and add in the to do list..... of Viva Goa.
