Vine Inn Barossa is a laid-back hotel with a bistro, outdoor pool, and restaurant. It's known for its dedicated bottle shop, offering a glimpse into the real Barossa Valley life. The inn provides standard hotel rooms as well as self-contained apartments suitable for families or groups of friends. The dining experience at Vine Inn features Australian cuisine and a bar frequented by both locals and visitors. Guests can enjoy modern Australian dishes made from fresh local ingredients at The Farm Eatery.
We were very impressed with the apartment we stayed 5 nights in, at the Vine Inn. The hard working team looked after us like we were family. Servicing the apartment daily, it was left clean and fresh. There's a wonderful community feel in the Barossa, and this was very evident at The Vine, the hotel, like the co-op is community owned and run. Extremely reasonably priced and there's plenty of choice on the menu at the hotel. Highly recommended.

Had lunch at the bistro. Nicest part of my meal was the slice of bread. Started with a beetroot dip that was foul. I couldn't eat it. Never had a worse one. The chicken curry was so salty that it was almost inedible. I couldn't finish it, and I'm not known for leaving anything on my plate. It would have been tasteless if it wasn't for the salt. The prices were not the cheapest, so very disappointed. Last time I eat there.

Great meals and very fast at bringing the meals out. Younger waitress was very friendly. I received mine in less than 10 mins after ordering a half size snitzel despite having a group table of 25! Half size was huge, yummy, hot and well priced! Recommend.

Had dinner in a the vine inn large serves and an awesome salad and veg bar, staff where very friendly and food served and food arrived super quick. The room nice just done up but needs mattress replaced as was as hard as a rock and can't figure out why the sliding door is screwed shut . Other than that an awesome stay

No where near the hotel for meals. Quiet and secluded but took me 2 goes to find it as it is not at the main hotel. Really really old rooms. Basic necessities of fridge, microwave, TV, old lounge and dining table, old bed. Precarious shower with steps to get into the bath-tub style shower. I was not having a shower in that. I would not stay again.

Had an amazing lunch with the hubby and was so happily amazed with the yummy food we were served.. I had the fish, chips and veggies and it was so hot and yummy, I nearly finished it all, thank God I had someone to help me finish it.. The serve was BIG.. Hubby got the chicken Schnitzel and it was a whopper..😂 To say he was well fed is an understatement..😁😁 The staff were amazing especially the beautiful lady behind the bar, she helped us play Keno for the 1st time..😂😂 Nothing was too much bother for this gorgeous worker, ( SORRY I can't remember her name, but you will know who i am talking about when you go there, with her sunny disposition. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STUNNING HOTEL 5🌟 FOR SURE..❤

It was the best experience I've had! We came here for my birthday so it was pre-booked, which I believe is essential. The food is incredibly good and so unique. There were so many amazing flavour combinations. I wish I had taken more photos, I was too excited. It has a great atmosphere. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The place is stunning and we would love to come and visit again. Thank you for having us.

Quite frankly, the best eating experience I’ve ever had. My family provided me with a gift voucher for my 50th birthday, and if not for that, I may never have ventured to Pheasant Farm…but will definitely be back. The food was superb and portioned to perfection, ensuring we could sample the myriad of flavours and offerings from the Feast menu and leave completely satisfied, without having to be rolled out the door. Whomever created the fungi dish….amazing! The desserts were light and delectable, the Pheasant Farm Riesling a perfect accompaniment and the service attentive and friendly. Thank you for a memorable and highly enjoyable dining experience.

We spent a cold, drizzly winters day at the Farm Eatery. It was nice & cosy inside. The food was amazing with flavours & ingredients we haven't tried before. We certainly left satisfied & full. Staff were very attentive, with lots of info. Maggie was even there & happy for a pic.

As always - it is a culinary explosion of flavours and incredible food when we eat here. One of our favourite places in Australia. This was our 4th visit and definitely won’t be our last. The produce is amazing. The wine flight was excellent and staff are brilliant. Can’t wait to return

Our annual girls' getaway to Adelaide included a wonderful visit to Maggie Beer's farm shop and restaurant. From the fascinating gin and cordial tasting ( hosted by the delightful Mary Anne )to our divine lunch, everything was beautiful. The menu is overflowing with local ingredients which are combined to create delicious and nutritious meals. Go there.
Rhonda K — Google review
An incredible experience from start to finish, from the stunning location to the impeccable service and delicious food. The scenic drive through the Barossa Valley led us to Maggie Beer’s picturesque farm. As we walked through the car park, we were greeted by a few beautiful peacocks and other birds before entering the charming farm shop that leads us to the equally beautiful restaurant (known as “the eatery” ). The service was flawless—polite, efficient, and attentive. We indulged in a delightful four-course meal, with food that was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. Highly recommended, an experience not to be missed.

If I could give 10 star rating I would!! This was an experience, not just a meal. The service was impeccable and the food was next level, every mouthful was a sensation. Highly recommend 👌

One of the best dining experiences we've had. So accommodating, great service and so careful with allergies. Truly 10/10. Kingfish and Crumble were highlights but honestly every single thing was a flavour bomb. A fine dining experience with none of the pretentiousness. Thank you guys so much 🙏

Ember Pizza Barossa is undoubtedly one of the finest dining establishments my companion and I have ever visited. Our meal commenced with succulent, tender meatballs accompanied by a delectable sauce that possessed a well-balanced flavor profile without being excessively acidic. The palatability was such that we could easily indulge in them ceaselessly. Furthermore, we opted for the buttermilk chicken entree, which showcased expertly cooked poultry with a coating that struck the perfect balance between thickness and oiliness.
We had the ‘Proper Good Food’ experience, which is the chef’s selection of dishes. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The lamb and pumpkin pizza was a standout, perfectly balanced flavors. The mushroom arancini balls did not disappoint in the slightest. A special shoutout to Jade, who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had a fantastic dining experience. We will most definitely be coming back!

Have been to this place a couple of times now and absolutely love it!! The wine is amazing!! The tear and share is lovely and their pizzas are delicious!!

Great pizza...so good I had to steal my friends leftovers. Can be noisy inside but took a table outside. Nice staff and great pizza.
Alwyn R — Google review
What an incredible dining experience! The pizza was truly outstanding, a perfect blend of a chewy, crispy crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. Every bite was a delight. And the wood-fired green vegetables were a revelation—smoky, tender, and packed with flavor, they were a perfect complement to the pizza. This restaurant has mastered the art of simple, high-quality ingredients cooked to perfection. A small hiccup with the kitchen's technology only highlighted the amazing service. There was a printer failure, which meant our order was delayed, but the staff handled it with such grace and professionalism. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and kept us updated. Their excellent customer service more than made up for the technical issue and turned a potential problem into a positive memory. It's rare to see a staff so dedicated and genuinely kind. Overall, this is a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates fantastic food and even better service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Allan W — Google review
I’m not usually one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but unfortunately I feel the need to share a comment about tonight’s dinner experience. Premise: table booked online, time offered by the website was 7:30 pm for a 90-minute slot, with the venue closing at 9:00 pm. We arrived on time, placed our order and started eating. At 8:10 pm, a waitress came over and asked us to pay. We were a bit surprised, but we paid. At 8:20 pm, she began clearing the plates—even though my partner was still eating—and we had to point it out. At 8:25 pm, my water glass was taken away while I was still drinking, and shortly after, they turned off the music. I understand there are closing times to respect, but if the venue offers a 7:30 pm booking for a 90-minute dinner, I expect to be able to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace, and at least have the option to order another drink. (I understand the kitchen may close earlier for obvious reasons, and I’m not complaining about that.) If the real intent is to close the venue by 8:30 pm, then I would kindly suggest not offering bookings at 7:30 pm for a 90-minute slot, as this sets different expectations for the customer. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for years, both across Australia and Europe. I know how venue closures work, and I also know that clearing glasses and drinks while guests are still using them should be the very last step of the process.
Sara D — Google review
We came for an early dinner on Wednesday night, staff were friendly and drinks service prompt. Starters were fabulous, mushroom arancini and buttermilk chicken bites delicious and tender. Before too long out came the main course… We shared 2 delicious wood fired pizzas a pepperoni and lamb and roast pumpkin which we couldn’t fault and didn’t leave a crumb. Thanks for a lovely meal!!
Cheryl W — Google review
Combination of tasty food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere and reasonable price. We had a delicious lunch at this beautiful local restaurant during the weekend. Loved the food, especially the "Pepperoni pizza." Although the place was crowded, our food got prepared fast and the customer service was great.
Pejman B — Google review
Racist treatment — avoid this place. I came to this restaurant today around 2pm, planning to dine in. The staff member at the counter told me very clearly that dine-in was not available and I could only order takeaway. I accepted this and ordered a pizza, then waited outside. However, during that time, I witnessed several local Australian customers walk in — and they were allowed to dine in without any issue. The same staff member who refused me service gave them access. Even more frustrating, when I questioned this inconsistency, the staff suddenly changed their explanation and said that the kitchen was open until 3pm. Such contradictory statements made it clear that they were simply making excuses. This is blatant racism and discriminatory treatment towards Asian customers. There is no excuse for such behaviour in Australia or anywhere. As a paying customer, I felt humiliated and disrespected. Businesses that engage in such practices should be held accountable, and I strongly urge others to think twice before supporting this restaurant. I never come back this place again.

Nuriootpa Chicken Centre. $23.50 Beef Schnitzel salad pack. Schnitzel was dry as an old boot. Pasta salad was drowning in tomato sauce and nothing else in it. The so called potato salad drowning in mayonnaise and nothing else🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Chips were average. Would I recommend absolutely not . The worst meal that I've had in the Barossa.

Just amazing food. I enjoy every vist I have done here. The food is fresh and feel of flavour. The chips always nice and hot, gravy has so much taste to it.

came here on Good Friday, first thoughts the pictures must be off the internet because i dined in and received a paper bowl with a single fork ? no knife for my chicken schnitzel i ordered two chips and schnitzel, schnitzel comes cut up into big chunks poured with gravy on it mind you… i didn’t order gravy? my partner doesn’t eat gravy and i tell the lady sorry we didn’t ask for gravy can we get another bowl JUST ONE even tho i don’t like gravy i was able to put it and it doesn’t help that the gravy is so much she tells me no it’s a waste of food as the gravy already comes on the chicken? how is that possible im not sure. wouldn’t recommend unless its your last option

First Drop Wines is a funky and vibrant spot in Nuriootpa, reflecting the proud Greek heritage of its owner. It's a perfect place for a light lunch with an amazing selection of wines to accompany tapas, cured meats, and fresh cheeses. The signature Mother's Milk Shiraz is a beautifully smooth blend from three different Barossa areas. Visitors praise the friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere with a fireplace.
Loved the hospitality of staff when I walked in I wasn't having the best afternoon entering SA to Barossa due to some Vineyards not accommodating tastings after 3pm or so or they were closed However the staff here were very accommodating and I got a free tasting yayyy! As my First Time to Barossa and also due to the fact I had no luck! It's a very modern and funky place to check out so please do I highly recommend Italian and Greek Backgrounds of owners and they have done extremely well over the years I feel especially to modernise and make it a funky venue that you currently visit Lunch served Wednesday onwards I was told and closes around 4pm to 5pm or so Have Fun and Enjoy 🍷 Everyone!!

Booked in for a wine tasting and lunch for my husbands birthday. The tasting was so much fun, very knowledgeable and informative, the wines were really good. Then we headed to the eating area for our lunch, the service was outstanding, so friendly and attentive. The food, omg is all I can say! Everything was so delicious!!! Safe to say we didn't have dinner that night 😁 Can't wait to come back for another lunch and more tasting! Thank you so much for such a lovely afternoon 😊

Fabulous. Highly recommend visiting this delightful cellar door. Staff were so nice, friendly and welcoming. Great food - we had the feed me menu and there was so much food! Very generous servings. The wine drinkers enjoyed the 4 serve ‘wine flight’. Cool place and can’t wait to visit again.

The Tapas was excellent. We had two specials with the asparagus wrapped in prosciutto the clear winner over a delicious lamb kofta. The Patatas bravas was also one of the best we’ve had. So very happy. The wines are excellent so we left after purchasing some very nice bottles which I felt overpriced but my partner had to have them. 😁.

We were glad we ate here based on a local's recommendation. The people here were so helpful! The garfish we ordered was cooked to perfection. We bought a bottle of 2021 Barossa Shiraz and a Pinot Grigio after a tasting. The manager also explained why 'The Home of the Brave' was used. But I've forgotten his explanation unfortunately.

What a great little place this is. It was recommended and didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely tasting with Olivia. This wines were all good, but the stand out for us was the Touriga. We didn’t try them all as there was too many so we’ll be back. So many interesting varietals. We also had lunch here. Spanish style tapas, all the dishes were really good. All the staff were happy and very friendly. Definitely recommend.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. My family visited for the second time today and was welcomed and presented with a range of beautiful local premium wine. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy delicious food and exceptional coffee, look no further than Beansolicious. This charming café is known for its quick service, with freshly made soups and delightful flat whites ready in just minutes. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. While the wait for food can be longer due to limited kitchen staff, the quality of dishes like salt and pepper squid and avocado toast with poached eggs more than makes up for it.
Took 5 minutes for a homade soup fresh made from a pot!! In minutes my small flat white was ready, I wasn't the only person in the shop, so this is record speed!! All the staff were super nice to me and told me to enjoy my stay!! The barista, was a young girl and her coffess are just so good! Everyone showed love and compassion!! Love you Beansolicious!! Edit, a couple days later. I spoke to a staff member about my experience, she said "I'm glad you enjoyed it, we enjoy having you here!" This filled my heart with much love, but before I walked out feeling happier than ever, I told her a great story about a girl I once knew, Lizzy Grant, she would tell me, "You may have bad days, one after another, but one person can brighten your mood and everything is fixed. Be this person!!" This young lady told me, "Thats a great story! It will make such a difference in peoples lives!" I left the shop and told my friends about his cafe!! Watch out Cim, you're about to have a whole bunch of new customers! P.S. I love the idea of you making dog treats and donating the proftis!! Your staff members put up with so much barking from rude customers and I don't know how they do it tbh. Have a nice day Cim, Love You xx. Another P.S. I actually counted 1 minute and 31 seconds, for my coffee to come out, one of the best I've had! I've seen children running around the place, must be the amazing food and hot chocolates attracting them! Hai Cim xx!
Reece M — Google review
The service was pretty good, they were really nice, however the wait for our good was quite long. I think this is due to the fact that they only had one chef. I got the salt and pepper squid for 24 dollar. I enjoyed the amount of salad they got me and springy the amount of squid was good, I wasn't happy with the amount of avacado however, they were very skimpy with it. My friend chicken wrap apparently was good. Would recommend.

Love this place! Beautiful warm sunny cafe. Absolutely gorgeous in winter. Top notch bacon and eggs. Great service. Good coffee too. With the dine in option though, a ceramic mug would be nicer.

Ordered coffee and food. The “manager” was quick to tell off the girl at the counter infront of a waiting line of customers about repeating our order back to us (should be saved for behind closed doors). We sat down. Coffee came. Waited 20 minutes for a bacon and egg muffin which we had ordered. Never came. Went to counter. 2 girls told us the manager does the cooking. Manager is nowhere to be seen and hadn’t even started our order yet. Absolutely pathetic service. Learn how to run a business.

Nestled within the Ampol service station in Nuriootpa, The Big Grill is a hidden gem that elevates the typical roadhouse experience. On my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. After filling up on petrol at a fantastic price, I decided to try their café offerings. The cappuccino was surprisingly delightful—better than many high-end coffee shops—and paired perfectly with an impressive breakfast roll loaded with hash browns, all for just $14!
Stopped here for breakfast on the way to Loxton. There is a great selection of breakfast and meal options. I had a haloumi burger with a dirty chai. Coffee's are excellent too. It's attached to a Caltex servo, so you can fill up also. Toilets available for use. Stop in you won't regret it.
Tim A — Google review
Compared to other service station eateries this is tops. I rarely eat or get coffee at roadhouses but this morning when we bought petrol (40c a litre cheaper than the other side of town) I thought I’d give the cafe a trial as it was warmer and fairly ambient. Service was excellent- my special order Cappuccino was better than many top rated coffee shops and the brekkie was excellent and fantastic value. 2 barista coffees in proper cups and a big roll with hash brown (plenty for 2 of us to share) was only $14. And we’d saved that much on petrol 😂

Considering this business continued to trade as others were closed during the shut down, the quality and quantity of the food has fallen drastically. We have eaten here twice this week and the chips were poorly cooked and the quanity certainly not value for money. We will eat else where. Picture included here shows the line for Lg chips and gravy. Tried again a few weeks later(8/2) for snitz and chips and it only gets worse. Gravy now not moving in the container: Is it old? Is it how it's been prepared? Texture of glag. So disappointed as the food was great when it first opened. Who's not caring? Pictures included are of warm gravy. How many times do you give the local a chance before you Stop buying food there???? 20/6/21 They have done their Dash with this house hold of 6 adults. We purchased 4 large chips and gravy (take away) and one kransky, $49. From $7 up to $10.95 for the chips and gravy each. The chips were of poor quality and quantity reduced again. We are locals and will not EVER shop here again. I would recommend to travelers to stop in Truro (5 min up the road), at the Weigh Bridge take away. This town has petrol, Sunrise bakery. The Big Grill take away is about the money not the customer. They can't even keep regular staff. That is telling. I look forward to the new take away outlets currently under construction on the highway.

The food when they get it right is usually good. Tonight I got a double cheeseburger instead of a double cheesy bacon deluxe. Very different burger and annoying as the cheesy bacon deluxe is more expensive. Tonight the burger patty tastes like cardboard. Not the first time I've had the wrong food here. Check before you leave

I ordered a hot dog last week with bacon, onion, mustard and sauce. What I didn’t order was food poisoning. My dad had also gone there that week with my brother and bought schnitzel packs both of them got a lovely surprise of raw chicken. This place used to be decent now it isn’t even edible. Fix your staff before you lose your customers.
Caitlin D — Google review
We ate here tonight on a recommendation. It didn't disappoint. The chicken Schnitzel was hot and fresh. I'm so glad I didn't order the larger size as this filled my plate. The chips are out of this world, hot, crunchy and salted to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Ordered Bacon & Egg Wraps. Looked inside _ no fresh egg as you would imagine but a gross mess of what we took to be powdered egg. Even that's in doubt as it was grey, not pale yellow. Absolutely disgusted

I would love to give NO stars but the service was outstanding! Shame on you Big grill for putting your staff under that amount of pressure to work by themselves and be absolutely under the pump with the amount of orders/people that were there and still put out good food cooked perfectly. Thank you to who served us tonight, you did a fantastic job (I didn't get her name but we went there at 5:30pm) So my 5 stars are for your staff NOT for the owners who have no idea how to treat their staff!

Had no tomatoes at 7:30 on a Saturday, no customers before us so could have cut some up. The service person had no idea when told I wanted a pizza melt. Marinara sauce was not added although asked for. Sub wrapped in one paper with no napkins added like other subways do. Was charged more than my local subway by $4. No blue cheese sauce also.

Another top cafe in Tanunda! It is a combination clothing store and cafe. Fittings and furniture are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Staff were super welcoming and friendly, (always an asset in the hospitality trade!) We visited Pulp & Thread and ordered lunch on a cold winters day. We ordered two serves of frittata, bowl of chips and a green salad with tofu. Drinks ordered were a choc-banana smoothy and a coffee. A single serve of dessert tiramisu was also ordered. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and a highlight were the hot chips on a cold winters day. When in Tanunda, check out this great cafe!

lovely bubble tea, but terrible açai, not much for $17 - 4 slices of banana, 2 pieces of pineapple and 4 grapes just thought it was a bit light on (small cup too) compared to other places I’ve been, but also the flavour of the açai was off not your sweet kinda berry flavour it was a bit sour and not enjoyable to eat. I’ve had much better açai! Nice selection of clothing too! Thank you but won’t be returning…

Whilst waiting for my order to be taken, one staff member interrupted me to complain about another customer and her order, for which she was, 20 minutes later, still waiting. Then another customer complained about her order bring not yet delivered. The manager was yelling at his behind the scenes staff to get orders filled. I waited for quite a long while too, but was compensated by being given 2 free mini drumsticks, which h were much appreciated.
Eve C — Google review
Hungry Jack’s Team, expressing my disappointment after a recent visit to one of your stores. My toddler had asked me to bring home a Super Stunner meal from the kids’ menu after work, so I stopped by. Unfortunately, the service I received was extremely frustrating. Despite speaking clearly, the staff member seemed unable to understand me. When I requested a meal from the kids’ menu and specifically asked for a Chicken Royale, I was met with confusion and a dismissive attitude. The wait time was unreasonably long for a simple kids’ meal, and the staff were not only unhelpful but also quite rude in their responses and body language. As paying customers, we expect to be treated with basic respect and courtesy. I hope you will address this with your team, as no one deserves to be made to feel this way during what should be a simple, pleasant experience. Please ensure your staff are trained in communication and customer service so that future interactions are handled better.

Ordering dinner tonight for my family of six I waited close to 30 mins for our order. Heard one of the manager's say to get the small orders done first. After watching our order sit on the bench for close to 20 mins they realised no one had made up the kids meals and no-one cooked the onion rings. After all of that I was presented with our order freezing cold food and looks like this.

Elizabeth W — Google review
One would think that they'd know what they're doing by now, but apparently the learning curve is massively steep. This location is rife with recurring problems that everyone always seems to experience. So here's a comprehensive review. 1. The staff here seem poorly trained, flustered, and confused. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that it's just poor training and the fault their higher-ups, and it's a first job for many of them, so they're bound to struggle sometimes. However, some also seem to have bad attitudes. Telling people to smile is rude and distasteful, but they could at the very least be attentive - the bare-minimum of customer service. Most drive-thru workers mumble and just open with "what do you want", instead of "welcome to KFC, place your order when you're ready". I will say though, I've never had an overtly rude interaction. Just unfocused. 2. The food is generally subpar. The chicken (when they have it in stock) is normally slimy and full of cartilage. The chips might as well be served raw and frozen. The chicken twisters give the impression that they're supposed to be coleslaw twisters but the worker accidentally dropped a bit of chicken in it, that's how bad the ratio is. 3. There is a huge issue with incorrect orders. Too often have we (and other customers, it seems) looked in the bag, only to find something missing or the wrong meal entirely. I've eaten at many KFC locations, many of which much busier, yet they always manage to get it right. How this keeps happening is baffling. 4. There's almost always a long wait time. This could be excused if it weren't a regular occurrence, but it is. Unless they're striving to leave the "Fast" food industry, they need to up their game. This is especially disappointing when they bring out a bag with cold, raw chips and half of the rest of the meal missing. I cannot comment on the bathrooms, but I will say that inside is generally clean and presentable, although twice I've seen (from the outside) the aftermath of some kind of indoor flood. I don't want a corporate response to this, I want whoever's in charge to strive to make the corrections needed to bring this place up to snuff. Many locals have wanted a KFC for years, and I can't speak for all of us, but what this location offers is a joke. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to Gawler than eat here. I hope they can improve. I honestly wish them all the best.
Blair B — Google review
I recently visited this KFC restaurant and was impressed with the speed of service despite the long wait times. The staff, although new, were friendly and attentive. I appreciated that they were willing to improve and learn. I found the food to be delicious, and I will definitely be returning to this location in the future. I highly recommend it.

We drove home tonight to find our three pizzas and garlic bread were all burnt. The appearance and smell coming from our order was obvious this should have been thrown straight in the bin. I am extremely disappointed that Nuriootpa Domino's feels this is adequate to serve to paying customers. I appreciate your store replaced our order however, it was another drive to Nuriootpa and home at my expense. We will not be returning again.

Both my pizza's were undercooked. Took them in to exchange. The employee agreed. Then comes back with the pizzas fault one and half and starts to kned to them with both fingers expecting me to take them. Spoke to me in an almost offensive way. Almost wouldn't even refund me.

Absolutely terrible customer service, I waited for quite sometime before someone actually served me. And a young lady by the name of 'Alexia'(?) was being spoken to in an absolutely disgusting, degrading manner. The man speaking to her (don't know his name, but had short hair and wore a gold earring) should be ashamed of himself! I felt embarrassed for her. No employee should ever be spoken to in front of customers this way! Totally disgusting. These grown men need to take a good look at themselves and treat people with some damn respect!

I love this little sushi place. My partner and I go here for dinner every Friday, and we've never had any issues or long waits. My vegan partner is still able to enjoy sushi (veg rolls and vegetable/plain udon or miso soup). The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's priced well! There is a toilet within a minutes walk, and lots of nice locally owned businesses near by. If you are in the barossa and want sushi, I can 100% recommend it! The staff were extremely disorganised, they failed to serve our complete order until they were appraoched 3 times over the course of 45 minutes to be constantly reminded of our order. This was despite us being the only customers. They also failed to recognise that we had ordered an out of stock item despite it being raised all three times we had to remind them of our order.

Great sushi! Well done team! Will be my new local.

Ordered the crunchy curry chicken . Very small portion for the price, 4 pieces of chicken the size of a walnut, and the rice just soggy with what was curry flavoured gravy! Rice n gravy is not what I expected nor wanted. Didn’t eat it all as it was awe full. But the chicken was nice. Won’t be going back for a hot curry meal

Really lovely new establishment. Never thought I'd see a sushi train pop up in the Barossa but it did and it definitely does not disappoint. The staff are lovely and the sushi is great. I would recommend Katsu chicken with Udon noodles too.

Love regular visits to Dai Hiro . They are always so polite and professional, welcoming and happy to oblige any requests. Sometimes ordering off the menu leads to longer than ideal wait times as not all items are available on the train. We find Some portions a bit small for the price of the plate compared to other sushi venues we have been to but wouldn't hold this against a regional gem like this.

Friendly service offered by a Taiwanese girl but the time of getting my tonkatsu ramen was very long, the waitress seemed so busy with many jobs to do - she had to rush to get different tasks done - I had to discover where water is & offered myself a jar of water. The ramen was not very Japanese, noodles were a bit hard (the texture wasnt good enough), the boiled egg looked sad with well cooked yolk (solid rather than runny), the pork came in a good portion but it was very thick & cooked almost in a Chinese style. Over all, not appealing not very tasty. The abolone inari was ok, not too bad. It s nice to have something different in this town, it s cool to eat there once in a while , not my go to place at all times.
