I cannot say enough about this restaurant. I was in Bsharri on vacation with the family and we were confused about the right place to go have dinner, and looking forever for that authentic Lebanese restaurant, until I came across The River ROCK. And we were not disappointed, the food was SO SO GOOD, everything is so FRESH, tasty. What was so impressive other than we didn’t have any wasps bothering us at all 😂 was the excellent service, the waiter was very helpful kind always checking on us, and the owner of the restaurant is a VERY warm lady, very welcoming and KIND! highly recommend this hidden gem in Bsharri! 5 STAR ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way 👌🏻

RIVER ROC is a must. From breathtaking views, delicious fresh delectable cuisine and a sunset like no other. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday and the owners of the restaurant treated us like family. Love, love, loved it xxx

We visited this retaurant as a big family. At first, we walked in and it was noticably emptier than most retaurants at lunch time, with weird choice of music. The food was fine, the portions were distributed based on $30/person, and we felt not enough was given. We had the impression that the owner and waiters were unable and not prepared to handle a larger group of people. The food is pricey, and the owner was not able to handle any finances professionally. The bill was charger higher, and the owner made weird comments that is considered bullying, on how a 9 year old girl should be priced as a grown adult from how much she ate. Why would a grown adult question a child eating? Very unprofessional, untrained. We regretted our choice and wished to have been in a more family friendly, nice service restaurant. Do not recommend.

The hospitality was warm and genuine, with great communication throughout. The homemade food was absolutely delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. A true hidden gem ,highly recommended!

I loved the location and atmosphere. It is acceptable in regard to price as the food is organic and tastes amazing but it is above average. All products from local area farmers and merchants. The staff was attentive to each of our requests as we were a group of 30 people. The menu was traditional Lebanese favorites and we enjoyed every single dish. The views and trails around location were excellent entertainment for kids and adults. It is a full day outing if you are coming from Beirut. We made reservations since we were a large group.

One of the best places I’ve visited in Lebanon. The food was delicious and generously served — we had fattoush, hummus, makanek, and mixed grill. The view was scenic, the air was fresh, and don’t forget to leave room for their complimentary dessert and coffee.

The best Lebanese restaurant at Bcharre area. The location is just amazing! It has a full view to Bcharre village. The food is so delicious and very well presented. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Music is ok and the overall atmosphere is nice. Perfect for families outing. The reservation is a must . You don’t need a 4 by 4 to reach during summer, but in winter sure you do.and they have another location for winter season. Enjoyyyy!

The view is amazing. The food is average, some dishes are below average. The service is very good. They charge 27$ per adult and kids half price. The road is very dangerous to get there, you can park your car up and they will get you there with a van for free. Or you can go walking. The food needs to be improved ( wara2 3enab, taouk, kafta…) below average.

The food was absolutely unreal, we decided to drop by here for lunch after 11 years of being outside of Lebanon and when I say the food was genuinely incredible, I mean it, the service was impeccable and all the guys were so sweet and helpful, cannot recommend this enough

Abou Joseph Restaurant is tucked away in the middle of Waddy Qadisha known as the ‘Valley of Saints’ there you find Mar Lisha Monetary, Saint Marina amongst many more saints. The valley is not only amazingly picturesque but full of history, monks fleeing persecution, funding refuge in its abundance of caves. A place not to be missed if traveling to Lebanon

Super nice ... super delicious food... it is more Like homemade food ... they are a family running the restaurant ... "eres el kebbi" is very extraordinarily soft ... i don't recommend to go by car even four wheels jeeps ... they have buses they can take you there ... you go there offroad and no parking ... so take their buses ... you must try it !

Great place for pizza and hummus in the winter, just before you reach Al Arz. Great friendly service, clean place with a lot of seating, and the food was well prepared. Would highly recommend stopping in if you need a good meal in the mountains!

This place is small and cozy. Loved its ambiance specially in winter when its raining outside. We tried combo appetizer which contain onion rings, wings, wedge potatoes and chicken strips. Chicken burger with breaded mozzarella was super delicious. The garlic sauce is so good. Chicken Fajita wasn't dry and it was served with fries and coleslaw salad. A cozy place located in Bsharre. People are friendly and helpful. Food ingredients are fresh and portions are ok. The eggplant salad is good. The Batata 7arra was average having lot of lemon and was not crispy. As for the mixed grill, The tawouk was ok, fries were not crispy and needed more frying; Th kafta was overcooked but they changed it immediately and shared 2 skewers instead of 1 but it needed spices to have a taste. The lamb meat was not tender.

Extremely disgusting 🤮. The place is not clean and there was a hair within the fries 🤮 check the first image. Food was very bad. Worst experience ever. Fattoush is full of salt, vegetables were not fresh. The drink had a bad taste (zankhet lahme). We paid and did not eat anything.

This is a family run restaurant that wins you over with quaintness. The owner's children run around the place as if running in their home's backyard. For all I know it probably is. The food is OK. It will disappoint visitors who are looking for more professionally prepared fare, but manage your expectations and you won't be.

I’ve visited this place 6 years ago and today was my second time visit and it stills the same taste and same quality of ingredients. They close on Mondays and open Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 pm till 12:00 am and Sunday from 12:00 pm till 18:00 pm. Highly recommended to visit

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the hotel we were staying at. This is a family run business and one look at the kitchen on your way up to the terrace says it all. The chef, the mom, is very creative while being faithful to the traditional dishes. The prices are very reasonable and the service is pretty good. All and all a very good place to have traditional Lebanese food.

One of the best places in the area, great food and the most tasty fattouch ever, family business generosity and high quality ingredients combined could never go wrong. I recommend everyone to try it especially if you have kids they have a good kids area too.

Lunch here was the highlight of our day! The view was spectacular. We were also welcomed and served by very accommodating and hospitable owner/ manager and waiters. It’s on our list to go to again next time we are back!

We came from dubai for a visit and wanted a quick bite. The restaurant has a basic entrance but their mountain view is wonderful. Their food and service was amazing. Felt like from the kitchen home to the table.

We visited the restaurant with a group of about 80 people and sent our orders two days in advance. When we arrived, there weren’t enough chairs to seat everyone, and the food was delayed for about two and a half hours. Some guests, including the drivers and teachers, didn’t receive their meals at all. Only a few dishes were eventually served, and they were not enough. The food taste was average, but the service and organization were disappointing. I'm writing this review not to harm the restaurant’s reputation but in the hope it improves. If the restaurant is not equipped to host such a large group, that should be made clear ahead of time especially since we didn’t even limit our order to one item from the menu.

We stopped off here as recommended, just two nights ago. It was late as we arrived late to Bacharre. The owners were very kind and welcoming. The food was good, but they then charged us $41 for two people. As the prices are not on menus anymore in Lebanon I appreciate it's difficult. It was hard to raise the issue as the food was already eaten. But 41$ for a small meal for 2 is extortionate. The potatoes, a small plate were charged at 5$. Bcharre can be more expensive, but we were taken advantage of here, as locals the next day also confirmed, and that felt very unfair and frustrating. That was the most expensive meal we had in Lebanon and it was absolutely not worth it.
