For the name and the hype, I don't think it really matches the level. Service was really good. Ambience is weirdly cheap for the prices in the menu! We had Veg platter and some drinks. Paneer was really good, just for eating Paneer items I can actually come here again, it's so soft and melting in mouth, probably the best Paneer I ever had! Other items are just okay like in any other regular restaurant!!

I recently visited Town Table Café, and the experience was simple, relaxing, and surprisingly delightful. For this visit, I kept it light and ordered Potato Fries and Potato Cutlets, and honestly, I was impressed by how much effort went into even these basic dishes. The Potato Fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, lightly seasoned to enhance the flavor without overpowering it. They were served hot and fresh, and every bite felt satisfying. I have been a regular visitor to the Town table for their fantastic Chicken and mutton biryani. Yesterday a few of my friends went there and had Mushroom for starters, ordered Pasta, fried rice, Mexican grilled vegetables with rice for main course and Brownie with ice cream for dessert. It was a bit disappointing to see really tiny mushrooms in the starters. Also the service guy was not helpful in suggesting some good Manchurian with fried rice. Also the fried rice was quite bland. Most shocking was the ice cream scoop. It was a really small scoop. We ordered another brownie but the ice cream scoop was really small. For the price they charge it was a below average experience.

Visited Town Table with my wife for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The place has a lovely rooftop vibe with a beautiful view of Mussoorie, which makes the dining experience even more special. We ordered cocktails, prawns, mushrooms, and pizza – all of which were delicious. The food was not only very tasty but also served in good quantity, which is always appreciated. The cocktails were well-made and paired perfectly with the food. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Another plus point is that the restaurant has its own car parking, which makes it very convenient given the busy Rajpur Road area. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxed dinner, whether you’re going as a couple, with family, or with friends. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Dehradun and want good food with a great view!

The ambience of the restaurant is laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The service is prompt and the chef takes his own sweet time to make dishes which are top class. They have a separate area for small gatherings.

I visited this place with high hopes and expectations but this place turned out to be a very big disappointment. Third class service and staff. Even after calling waiter and waiting for 20 minutes he did not attend us. Then after complaining to the manager the waiter finally came at our table. While taking order also he was distracted by his phone . The plates were too dirty ,i have a habit of cleaning things with tissue at a restaurant before using it and i coild literally see the black dirt stuck around the corners and centre of that white plate . Food is not up to mark , either too spicy or just okayish . Overpriced based on the quality and quantity of food. Late service. The glasses for drinking water had a very pungent smell. Overall the only thing that was clean at this place were the washroom. I hope to see changes in their staffs attitude &mismanagement , cleanliness and service .

Food is good. Comfortable seating available. Other restaurants and shopping stores are also in the same building hence car parking may be a problem. No finger bowl was given. Butter Naans were average. I think hard drinks are also served but no menu was given and only food menu was shown, before leaving saw the bar. Seperate large closed space available for independent functions.

I'll give Town Table a 5 star because apart from their food being undoubtedly good, they treated me with patience for almost 4 hours as I was waiting for my friend who got stuck in traffic. I ordered mexican bowl, portion size was more than enough and taste didn't dissapoint as well. Thier filter coffee was also brought joy to my tongue. The staff was courteous and helpful. If I'm in dehradun again, town table shall be one of my top most consideration.

The place is nice. Good interiors. Nicely decorated. Outdoor seating is also available. The food is equally good. The prices are moderate. The brownie shake is amazing. It's a must have. Sometimes live band performances are also organised. One point less as there is not enough parking space for bigger vehicles like cars.

What I ordered- •masala cola- (just a simple coca cola with jaljeera) •lemon water-( too salty and worst ) •chilli garlic noodles- tasted good but would’ve been a bit more in quantity. • gravy munchurian- it was good but overpriced. Not at all value for money, it is affordable but they should give a bit more in quantity. # its not hygienic (it may look like it is) -There were cockroaches roaming on the plate.

I decided to explore it, accompanied by another doonite. Though locating this place is a tough job cause the entrance is a narrow gully and there is a possibility of missing the sign board. Outdoor and indoor seating both are available, they even host a live band though there’s space constraints. Food is average; the shakes were ok. The dark chocolate sandwiches is something to have after a meal and a better option. Overall an average place, could be visited again.

Amazing place to have great food and live music on weekends. The place is nice and cozy with quirky posters about food lining up the entrance. Do try Malabari Paratha and BMG special Burglettes ! Simply amazing.

This was my first time in five star's aura restaurant which is located on the 2nd floor. It's spacious, ambience is good, service is quick. We ordered paneer tikka masala, dal bukhara, mix vegetable, garlic naan, hara bhara kebab, French fries, manchow soup which costed us approx Rs 3000. The food was delicious, the only drawback was the noise. It wasn't a peaceful experience rather I had a headache and was in a hurry to leave the place. The live music is too loud, even if you say to slow down the volume they don't listen. It wasn't soothing at all.

I had ordered dhokla from Five star janta via swiggy and found a cockroach inside it. It was really gross and frustrating seeing something like that in our food. You guys are charging so much and there is no quality of food, no proper hygiene. Its the basic need of the customer to have proper quality and hygienic food. For proof i have attached photographs (Beware you might trow up after looking at them, same as I did) Really disappointed with both swiggy and five star janta.

NOT PET FRIENDLY. I was having a 3 month old kitten completely enclosed in cat bag but staff didn't allowed to make us sit there with kitten. Even he didn't asked heigher authority. I am posting pic of kitten in another restaurant. I want to ask question if this kitten in enclosed condition how can it harm someone.

Ordered your sandwich bread along with other items by zomato today ie 19 june 2025 and got the bread that expiring today itself, ie 19th june. Kindly note this is rainy season and bread is ordered for the use for morning breakfast. Why you sending the item that is expiring on very day... really disappointing.

A perfect place where you can unwind with friends. It's basically a rooftop bar and restaurant located in Hotel Park View, Astley Hall, Dehradun. We ordered some alcohol and Cocktail along with crispy chicken. Later on we ordered a dish named 'Cheese Bombs' which was hands down one of the best chess dishes I have ever tasted. We really enjoyed our drinks and food and spent a quality time with each other. The only thing which bugged me was the cleanliness of their washroom. The flush wasn't working in the ladies room which kinda deal breaker for me.

You might find it difficult to find this place as it is not located on the main road but at the rooftop of a hotel which can be reached by taking a slight left from Rajpur Road. Although, the delicious food does justice to the trouble in finding the place. I would recommend you to eat their Cheese Balls, I really liked them. They don't offer all brands of beer on their menu so that might be a turn off but the vibe is great at the place and you can definitely try it.

The chef and staff members really very decent and the food was worth the cost. It also has a smoking zone but I can't say about the bar because from the look of it, it seemed close and there was no cocktail menu either.

It's my first visit to this restaurant, the tastes good but when the bill has to be paid I was demanded to pay by cash..... After a busy day at work I just walked from my hotel and was carrying my cards . I had to walk to the nearest ATMs. A bad experience after a meal.

Nanking, the name strucks me, definitely have some fascination with the name ! Have lot of good memories of visit to the restaurant while I was a student and had visited the place ample of number of times with my parents ! The place I must say is suited at best place it could be, exactly in the middle of Chakrata road when you are starting from Prem Nagar and going to Connaught place ! I remember that the food used to taste well and we had courteous service ! A good place to have some good time !

Nanking, well known for the authentic Indian and Chinese food it serves, it is a family style restaurant located on Ballupur road. My favorite @ Nanking are Cheese pullao, Afghani chicken and malai tikka....a must try..... use the online reservation request form on website, good way to reserve before we go out to dine.. saved me from waiting outside !

The most marvelous trait that i noticed in which nanking has improved enormously is the quality of food. Their food quality is really awesome. We can see their endeavors in every aspects..

Must Try Veg Noodles. Good Quality food with multiple options in starters and desert as well. But the Veg Noodles were the best for me.

We picked up khandvi, which was tasty. The mix murabba was nice as well . The cream roll was average. The dry mango pickle was well prepared. They have a wide range of food items, sweets, pickles, savoury delicacies to select from. The staff is pleasant. And gets the job done. They have a restaurant on a higher floor and the there is ample seating. Some seating is available on the ground floor as well next to the chaat counters. Parking is available. Gaurd helped us park our vehicle.

Pathetic! A single word to describe this whole set of mithai shop and bakery ! Bought caramel cake which wasn’t fresh at all ! No answers given after complaining also ! Had lots of sweets here on various occasions ! Every items is heavily priced ! Didn’t liked the taste of pyaj kachori ! Dhokla and khandavi is good but again they are very pricey too ! Most of mithaiyaans are good in taste but they are not presented well ! Milk cake wasn’t cut in proper size ! Battisa was bad in taste and looks horrible too.

There quality of cake has drastically got worst, I ordered their signature Rasmalai cake to which there was no rasmalai neither instead nor outside for decoration just the flavour that too felt like that have just moist the cake with rasmalai’s ras They are charging premium amount with sub standard quality

So, I recently visited this place with my friends and we enjoyed proper lunch with a few snacks prior to it. We tried tikki, veg momos & mojito. Such juicy momos 😋 they have my heart. After that we tried Sarso da saag and Makki di roti. Malai chaap and daal makhni with naan. It all left us spell-bound with the smooth taste & Super good service. Even the staff is very friendly. And they will suggest you the best they have. Don't forget to try their golgappe ❤ Before going home, visit their bakery section to get some variety of biscuits ,namkin, pastries and mouth watering sweets. Well I should not forget to mention that I got my Christmas plum cake from them and finished it as soon as I came home because once you put your hands on it, you won't stop until it's finished. !! .🎄😍

Visited Aura recently for lunch Wide variety of options And it was a wonderful experience The chaat and aloo tikki were really rich and fresh. The daal makhni and naan were a killer combination The ambience is Clean and hygienic. They have a bakery and sweet story just below it One of the best sweets in town ❤️

It's good if you go and eat there. Bur if it's home delivery then it's gonna be bad experience. This jhakan branch has awful staff, especially the one who tackles tomato orders. On their own mistake, repeated many a times, shows audacity to say that he has lot of other works so i can even complain to zomato Management should look into the matter.

Very good SOUTH INDIAN food. I guess this is one of the best places to have South Indian delicacies. Mysore Dosa and Medu Vada are too good. Sambhar and Chutneys taste awesome. Seating space is limited. Highly Recommended.

Iam a typical South Indian and a Mysurean.. we were here on a holiday and my son insisted on having Idli and Dose.. After seeing good reviews we travelled almost 5.5km to have good idly and Dose, we ordered “Sankalp Special idly” please don’t go for there menu pics as this idly was half the size and if we compare the price of Sankalp idly, whole family can eat in that price in Mysuru. Taste not even close to our idly. After that we ordered “Masala Dose” that to we need to pay extra for masala and Aloo bhaji, we thought let’s give it a try, unfortunately masala was so little we couldn’t feel the taste of it, and colour of dose was white. We thought we would give a last try, and ordered for “Bisi bele huli anna”(Bisi bele bath) Oh my god this was the end of it.. They prepared kichidi with unbaked peas and sprinkled old stock boondi on it and served as Bisi bele huli anna.. Dear Sankalp, If you guys don’t wanna give that original south taste then why say “Taste of South”. Never in my life will go to “Sankalp” again and never recommend it to any one else.. pathetic taste and exorbitant prices..

The place is spacious and nice. They offer dosas with a twist...hence the name. Liked it..one can try for a change.

It has really good ambience, and good open space for parking. That's it. Now, the food, No, literally No from my side. Overpriced, not tasty, small dosa cut into 3 parts, and for some reason, they take a lot of time for single dosa! We ordered at least 3 different Dosas, I liked none, not chutney or not sambar or not the tomato chutney was good!! At the end we tried hot brownie, the weirdest brownie I ever had in my life 😵!!! On the contrast, the cold coffee was really good, probably one of the best we have tried in Dehradun till now!

Aisa kaisa dosa is a good place to hangout with friends and family. There speciality is fusion dosas. Here you can have many varieties of fusion dosas and also street style food by AKD which are really good in taste . Also there cold coffee is best. Services are good and a really great place. Their taste is consistent which is very good. They added some more good varieties in their menu.Very consistent and great place.

This used to be a favourite till this time I saw a cockroach making its way towards my food before I could. The bok choi was great but the filling in the chicken momo was rancid. Eeeeks. I was so repulsed that I walked out without finishing the meal. Kalsang you just lost a loyal customer. Thanks but no thanks

I'm very satisfied with both the ambience and food. It alludes to a classic, ethnic environment. And the food was superb I'm especially impressed with the crab stew, it was out of this world, and tasted so rich and refined. It took me by surprise. I have yet to try a lot of items on the menu and will surely visit it again to try those out. Even the staff are very diligent, they are quick to do their work and are ready to serve with immense care and understanding.

Dehradoon has a lot of these outlets and I visited the outlet at Clock Tower. The place was relatively free and service was efficient. The food is good and of high quality. The prices are reasonable and ok. The choice on the menu is too good.

Totally waste of your hard earned money. Writing this review sitting here in kalsang itself, ordered 2 type of momos and thuppa. Thuppa was average but momos had filling of radish, like serious. Totally disapointed, will never come back to this place ever again.

All those calling it authentic south indian haven't had south indian food I think, very bad chutney and sambhar. They don't use a single curry leaves and mustard which is must in south indian food

I have been to this dosa place multiple times. They have south Indian breakfast items like dosas, vada sambhar, idli sambhar, uttapam. Their dosas are tasty and the prices are very reasonable. Their butter masala dosa is very delicious as it is cooked in butter and taste heavenly. Their sambhar is tasty too. They serve 3 kinds of chutney with dosa sambhar, green chutney (mint +coconut), white coconut chutney and red tomato chutney. Atmosphere is not very cheerful or spectacular so if you want a nice dining experience then this place is not it. Tables and chairs are clean but there is a small whenever they opened a washroom or utility door, So do not sit next to it. This place can easily seat 20-22 people at the same time. However if you want to have quick or lazy bite of good south Indian dishes in reasonable price then you should definitely visit this place. This place is easy to locate as it is on the road with sign board. They also deliver dosa by zomato but it is better to eat there as dosa might get soggy in delivery. For beverage they have cold drinks to order. If you are craving south Indian dishes you must visit.

They have a variety of South Indian dishes in their menu ie Dosa, idli, vada Their prices are also genuine, service is good. We ordered idli sambhar and sambhar vada and to my surprise both dishes are tasty. Overall a good place to enjoy South Indian dishes in pocket friendly way.

Idli is having a tangy flavor Wada was good And you have to tell them If you want Wada or idli and sambhar seperate,,not dipped..! Sambhar is thick. They serve you three chutneys red white and green. Washroom was maintained. Seating is good Light is bright. Haven't tasted dosa yet.

I had a wonderful experience at Lhasa Tibet Kitchen. The food was absolutely authentic and flavorful – every dish carried the true taste of Tibetan cuisine, freshly prepared and perfectly balanced. The staff was very attentive and polite, especially Mansi, who went out of her way to guide us through the menu and ensure we were comfortable. Easier to park the four wheelers near MDDA park and taking a short walk instead of taking the risk of climbing the often crowded and steep hill slope. Also has good jewellery options - bracelets, earrings etc.

I have been going there since 2016. The food is very delicious and authentic. They prepare fresh right after you order. Full marks on the taste. Service is also nice as it takes time to cook. The only thing which put me off was the behaviour of the lady owner. We had ordered 2 times a particular item and were served once. Prior to billing, I confirmed if that was all. She confirmed and while billing when I mentioned that an order wasn’t served she refused. I asked her again very politely she again refused very rudely and unprofessionally. Even her waiters weren’t aware. She is very sweet usually. But this time she was really ignorant and the way she behaved was very unprofessional and it did hurt me as I have been a regular there. I don’t want to discourage people from going there. You fellas enjoy and I am sure you will not have the experience that I had as she is very cheerful and nice most of the times.

I've been a customer here for the past 22 years. It used to be one of the best Tibetan restaurants. The menu has been revamped, and rates have increased significantly over the last few years. I have big hopes for this restaurant, but I'm wondering why it's not as crowded as it once was. To remain profitable, management must significantly reduce pricing. It was rather vacant when I was the only one there during peak hours.

Service quality very low, the water on a tabel was horrible and seems that was here for a month already, asked to bring soda water, but brougth water from tap with very strange smell and taste that was imposible to drink, but at the end did not charged for this water. The food was good and taste nice. I highly recommend to improve service and put normal water in bottles on table for guests. Main restaurant is nice to sit.

Terrible Experience — Avoid at All Costs! Chicken Point on Rajpur Road (opposite Vishal Mega Mart) is one of the worst places I’ve visited in Dehradun. The owner is unbelievably rude and arrogant — absolutely no manners or sense of customer service. It’s shocking how someone running a food outlet can behave like this with customers. The food is equally disappointing — the Kathi Roll had bones inside, Chicken Tikka was dry and chewy, and the Butter Chicken was a total disaster with zero flavor. Only the Tandoori Tangdi Kebab was barely okay. Even if by chance the food turns out fine, the owner’s attitude is enough to ruin your visit. Such behavior drives customers away. I’ll never go back here — and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if others feel the same. There are far better and more respectful eateries around Rajpur Road.

Chicken point is one of the oldest restaurant in Rajpur road. The restaurant is on the main road. They have variety of non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian food. The food is delicious. They have space to eat there only. The restaurant is very neat and clean. Mostly people prefer take away service over here. They provide food till late night. You will find rush in the evening so you might have to wait for longer time. You can park your vehicle outside, there is enough space. People prefer this place for late night food.

One of the best Chinese cuisine available in city which is comparable to all major cities in country. Even starters like dahi ke Sholay was good. Quantity is really good. Dining space is plenty with a small garden like area with a swing where kids can enjoy.

You're really paying for the view! In words of a wise person: if you're there for views, get a drink and sip the beauty. Otherwise if you're for food, get food some place else. A bill of whopping 1700 for Paneer + Naan + Pakoda. All mediocre at best. Their drinks however (we tried the Blackcurrant shake) are good.

Great location and service. Staff is attentive. But sadly food is a downer . We ordered iced tea which was basically served so so diluted that it was only tinted water no taste. They made it again and it was good now. Pesto pizza had literally few small blobs of pesto as a topping . And hummus platter looked pretty but did not kick the taste buds at all. maybe Indian food is better but we didn't try that.

Rating this place a Solid 4 Star as i had a lovely experience. We tried their Pahadi Thali, which gave a nice taste of traditional mountain flavors. Simple, hearty, and satisfying. The food overall was fresh and well-prepared. The highlight for me was definitely their signature dessert, Jal Jalebi. The jalebis were perfectly crisp and golden, served with a rich, creamy rabdi (an indulgent and delightful finish to the meal). The view of the Ganga from the restaurant is stunning, making the dining experience feel peaceful and special. The ambiance is relaxed, and it’s a great spot to unwind after exploring the area.

We loved the ambience and also the food. We tried some local dishes here like Kafuli (spinach with garlic) and Gahat Daal ( a typical lentil grown in Garhwal region) and the taste is unique. But one must try the dessert rabri with jalebi, it's awesome.

I love staying at Ganga Kinare. There's no other place I'd stay in Rishikesh. The staff are so kind, can't do enough for you, the food is truly exquisite, especially the breakfast! We had an amazing experience at Jal & Jalebi in Rishikesh! The food was delicious. We tried the Garhwali Thali, which was full of authentic local dishes and beautifully presented. A big shoutout to Shashi, who served us with so much warmth and attentiveness. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes and shared small details about how the history and the culture.

The pahadi thali at Jal and Jalebi is fantastic. Tried pahadi cuisine for the first time and must say it was worth the recommendation by Rajat and Aman. The servers are super warm and explain you everything in detail and serve you with such humility that it justifies tha name of temple thali which definitely adds to more taste. The restaurant is an excellent area for people seeking diversity in food. I prefer taste over variety. The taste of the variety of food didn't match my expectations. The price, according to what they serve, isn't up to my liking. The service starts and ends, and when you expect there will be more, you realize this is it. If they say it offers 20+ dishes, they include the worthless pickles and other small dishes also, which hold no taste and worth being called an independent dish. My final word would be, go there if you want to taste India, and not if you seek taste.

Very interesting concept of bringing food from all the temples across India into a plate and serving you beautifully. We enjoyed the thali here where each item was made with care and tasted delicious. All the food items were mild in spice level which made sense as the food represents different temples. All the options were served in small portions initially to reduce the wastage. We can order more whatever you like. Special mention for the dessert. Imarti rabdi and peda were out of this world. The price of the thali is on the higher side for Rishikesh but the quality of the food was also quite good. I wish we had more appetite.

Last night was about visiting one of North India’s most renowned Tibetan restaurants, a place that has been serving authentic flavors for over four decades. The menu was extensive with Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Tibetan options — both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I ordered Pad Thai noodles and Mokhtuk, and they were absolutely outstanding. The noodles were perfectly balanced in flavor, with just the right blend of spice and freshness, while the Mokhtuk was comforting, soulful, and perhaps the best I’ve had anywhere. This restaurant stands out not just for its history and reputation, but for the consistent quality it delivers. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Asian food with an unforgettable dining atmosphere.

We reached around 10:30 AM but the restaurant opens at 12 PM, so the waiting time felt quite long. However, once inside, the experience was worth it. The food tasted absolutely authentic and the presentation was excellent. Loved the quiet and cozy ambience — the overall vibe of the place is really nice and relaxing. We ordered: • Veg Fried Rice • Veg Manchurian • Chicken Suptak • Tibetan Bread (Tingmo) Everything was delicious, especially the Chicken Suptak. A great place to enjoy Tibetan food in Mussoorie!

Four stars just because of the food despite the fact it's famous and crowded all the time there is certain way to treat your guest. Service needs some really good training and especially how to talk to guest. Rest everything was good.

Mind blowing food!! The place offers authentic business from the hills - laphing, thukpa, baos, flat hand pulled noodles, dumpling soups & a wide variety of meat options. Every dish we ordered was finger licking delicious & served in generous portions. Speaking of ambience, it just couldn’t get better with the Himalayan vibes, music & decor. Exciting stuff - They have a uniquely designed Photo Booth (Korean Photo Booth); the first of its kind in Dehradun where you can custom dress up & get clicked with your gang. Also, it’s quite affordable, priced at just Rs 100 per picture.

I visited Kalsang Pan Asian Cuisine in Mussoorie and tried the veg momos and veg noodles. Both dishes were very tasty with a nice smoky flavor. The food was fresh and full of flavor. You can try khao suey also. The place was quite crowded, and there is not much parking space nearby. Because of the crowd, the service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it. The restaurant has a good vibe and is worth a visit if you enjoy Asian food. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Kalsang in Mussoorie has always been our go-to. Tried the mushroom flat noodles again and honestly, they never miss…always hit the spot. The vibe here just feels right, warm and alive in its own way. You might have to wait 15–20 mins, but once the food comes… it’s all worth it.

Newly and completely renovated bar in the Savoy Hotel. While the hotel itself has a fascinating history, the name and legendary status of the bar itself is a contemporary invention. It’s a comfortable enough place to sit and chat, interesting framed ephemera line the walls, and it’s worth a visit only if staying at the hotel.

The Savoy, is a historic luxury hotel at present owned by Mr. Kishore Kaya and Managed by the ITC Hotels. On the penultimate day of my visit to Mussoorie in Jan 2024, I decided to dine at the ITC Savoy. My first choice - The Royal Afghan - could not cater to my dietary needs (Vegan). The Grand Dining Hall was welcome and the chef personally helped with my dinner Choices. The ambience is excellent - and I enjoyed my dinner in the grand ambience of the restaurant. As it was perhaps mid-week and not during a holiday period, the restaurant was quiet and peaceful - bonus points for that ! A Special call out to two trainee service folks - who helped at my Table - Sandesh & Ankita (I hope I have the Names right)

Hands down my favourite bar of all because it is Mr. Ruskin Bond's go to. There is so much history in the interiors itself and every artifact has a story to tell. Do not miss this place if you are into places which have a character of their own. It's not a bar... It's a den with really awesome interiors and whiskey.

Near parmarth Niketan this restaurant is very very famous here. Over hyped maybe. Daal price was like 300 something and the quantity was for 2 only with 3 nan per person. You can give it a shot.

First of all, as usual, we got confused about which one is the real Chhoti Walla Restaurant and which is the original. We ordered the Thali and Lassi. The Lassi was really delicious, but the Thali did not meet our expectations. The taste was quite average, typical of Chhoti Walla, and the Thali was not very flavorful. Additionally, it was quite expensive for what it offered. Overall, the experience was mediocre. But good thing is the Choti wala Uncle. It will make you happy and of the food.

Delicious Food at a Convenient Spot – Chotiwala Restaurant, Rishikesh There are two restaurants apparently by two brothers, we went to the one at the right. Service was very prompt and courteous. The food also arrived pretty quickly, it was tasty too. Prices also are reasonable. Overall a good find for a meal Chotiwala Restaurant near Ram Jhula is a great place to enjoy flavorful North Indian cuisine. The location is very convenient for travelers and pilgrims alike, just a short walk from the iconic Ram Jhula. The atmosphere is decent and comfortable for a casual dining experience. The place is located near Ram Jhula in Rishikesh. I went there for lunch and ordered a thali. The food was good—tasty and well-prepared—but a bit on the expensive side. They charge around ₹400 per thali, which is slightly high compared to other local options

Chotiwala restaurant is very famous in Hrishikesh near Swargadham . The live man posing outside is unique to these Chotiwala hotels . Looks very deceptive from outside but once you enter you will be delighted to find beautiful inside Awesome chairs with AC rooms lovely and mouth watering dishes makes it a hot cake hotel Must visit this economical hotel

The food is delicious, and the highlight of the visit is getting a picture with Chotiwala himself! You can choose between the AC hall and Non-AC seating—both are available at the same price. The service is impressively quick, and both the food and ambiance are clean and hygienic.

60s is one of the iconic cafes famously known as the Beatles Cafe. I went there for lunch, since I am vegetarian I have ordered a vegetable burger. It is amazing served with garlic fries. Very good burger, but what I like most is the vibes of 60s. They have garden seating as well, with Jim Morrison sculpture and painting. They also have amazing vegan bakery where you can get without eggs pastries. Location is also center of the city near Laxman Jhula. Overall polite staff, amazing food quality and mind blowing taste. I will highly recommend this place if you are visiting Rishikesh. P.S. they have guitar played by Jim himself since 1968 and amazing collection of stickers and magnets for collection. Just ask at billing table.

A good cafe at tapovan, Rishikesh. I had veg burger and ginger honey lemon tea. Food was good. But lacks in service. Everytime we have to call the waiters to get their attention. It can be improved. It has got s good collection of retro things where you can take photos. Indoor and outdoor sitting space is also there.

Nice unique choice in Tapovan when you want a change from usual paneer dishes! They have many western, vegan and some Indian food choices and all the items we tried were decent. Had their stir-fry which didn’t taste like what I have tried usually but still fairly tasty. Their vegan eggplant Parmesan was bit spicy but good. Quantity is bit less. Nice decor with Beatles and other 60s memorabilia.

Treated myself to a nice dinner here on my last night in Rishikesh; good location off the main road with very large and nice patio. Service was great and attentive. Spinach lasagna delicious as well as hot toddy mocktail with caramel banana dessert. Cool menu for ayurvedic info as well as Jain options!

We ordered only a few things which included the fries, and they were oily not something I was expecting them to screw up! The drink and pasta tasted good, and the apple pie was delicious too. The service though, since I ordered all at once, they got the pasta first, before the starters and my drink which was kinda disappointing when asked they said, jo pehele ban jata hai woh late hai hum kyunki thanda ho jayega! Hope they correct this. The ambiance was great! Lovely place to feel the vibe of The Beatles!

We ordered a lot of food including pizza, pasta, noodles, burgers and a mushroom snack. The snacks and burgers were good. But rest of the things were horrible!! Noodles were undercooked and pizza had such a low quality cheese that it felt like rubber while eating. And pasta had big big pieces of black pepper.. i mean who puts chunks of black pepper into pasta? And service was average. Overall the vibe & environment of the place was good.

Beautiful restaurant, great food, rich ambience. If you sit and the very back, you'll also get Ganges view. A serene place, and the food quality and quantity is amazing. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again!

e had a lovely time! The vegetable momos and rice noodles were absolutely delicious—flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the kombucha and a smoothie, which were okay but could be improved. The paneer chilly and the fruit pancake rounded off the meal nicely. Overall, a cozy and enjoyable experience with good food and great vibes.

This place is 100% overhyped. I went here after hearing that their food is good. I ordered two items, veg momos and falafel . The staff were unbothered about addressing the customer. Funny thing is, I found a worm inside the soup given with momos. They said you eat without soul. Momos tasted below average. Falafel plate came with fries that were fried decade ago. Waste of money. Instead go to beatles cafe. They are pretty good.

The cafe is situated at a very scenic point from where the view of Ganga is beautiful. However, our experience of the cafe with regards to food and service was not great. We ordered their Falafel all, tomato soup, momos and brownie with ice cream. Brownie and soup were good but the other 2 were disappointing. The service as well wasn’t great as we had to repeatedly ask for our orders including water bottles.

We walked a long way to get to this place.. and found the guy taking a lunch break, he asked us to wait for 30 mins but at least he was true to his word. He was back in exactly 30 mins. Coming to the omlette, we tried cheese butter omlette and the taste was nice .. better than what you get in the area but nothing out of world... You can get the same omlette in sadar bazaar gurgaon (maybe better) so there definitely is a false hype around the name. The owner is a nice guy though... He serves on a first come first serve basis, and has also reserved a day for children of doon school... Meaning they only serve children on that day, and none other. You can try if you are around and there are no long queues... But walking all the way and standing in a queue for over an hour --- let it pass, there are other very good cafes in the vicinity.

Had breakfast and it was very yummy! Definitely recommend the cheese omlette it was finger licking good. The owner was a great guy to have a chit chat with whilst enjoying a great omlette, and the food was true to its word. A large celebrity base have also come to taste the food here, and there are specific days where it is open just for school students. The store opens timely before 10am, and there is no rush in the morning during that time so it is the best one to visit. Food tasted as good as mom's cooking 😊

We went for dinner here on a Friday and luckily found a place to sit without waiting. Food was really nice and we enjoyed all the dishes especially the Shahi Paneer and their special Biryani. Those who don't like spiciness please avoid their mushroom dish in main course. Service was a bit delayed but it's justified as the place was full. And they have indoor as well as outdoor seating. On the penultimate day of my visit to Mussoorie in Jan 2024, I decided to dine at the ITC Savoy. My first choice - The Royal Afghan - could not cater to my dietary needs (Vegan). The Grand Dining Hall was welcome and the chef personally helped with my dinner Choices. The ambience is excellent - and I enjoyed my dinner in the grand ambience of the restaurant. As it was perhaps mid-week and not during a holiday period, the restaurant was quiet and peaceful - bonus points for that ! A Special call out to two trainee service folks - who helped at my Table - Sandesh & Ankita (I hope I have the Names right)

Hands down my favourite bar of all because it is Mr. Ruskin Bond's go to. There is so much history in the interiors itself and every artifact has a story to tell. Do not miss this place if you are into places which have a character of their own. It's not a bar... It's a den with really awesome interiors and whiskey.

This place is amazing for a warm and nourishing meal. The food was delicious, healthy & they had gluten free options. Recently visited this cafe in Tapovan Rishikesh. The location is beautiful,overlooking the mountains and it's serene beauty. The place is peaceful and spacious , and has option of outdoor sitting as well. We ordered Granola mixed fruit with milk and Sandwiches, both were scrumptious. If you want to have good food this place is for you. Almost everything was delicious, authentic taste. Chicken momo were juicy only missed delhi style chatni with it(they don’t serve mayonnaise). Interiors are really interesting, have beautiful view from windows. Loved this place. Only problem here is their AC dont work. For some reason after shifting from table to table we found that no corner of the cafe was cooler. Thats a big miss. Washroom was very dirty and smelly. Have dedicated parking area for some 4-5 cars. Street parking is also available.

A good four stars for the cafe, three stars for the restaurant. The cafe serves a good variety of desserts and the coffee hits you in the right spot. Love it. The food at the restaurant is just alright, it definitely used to be amazing in the initial days but lately the preparation has deteriorated. The food tastes stale at times, with high amounts of refined oil. Would highly recommend the cafe, about the restaurant I am not so sure. The ambience is certainly great, nicely curated. The staff is amazing and courteous.

The Chinese-Thai-Tibetian restaurant is upstairs past the Kalsang cafe on the ground floor. The Chinese (Indo) food was tasty and good size portions. Excellent value for money. Its probably the best Chinese food Ive had in India in a few years. I hope to try the Tibetian and Thai fare which I have been told is amazing. The Decor is Tacky and loud, but seating looking out at the mountains side is fine. Parking is limited and a bit hard if driving there same as anywhere in Dehradun with its poor roads and unmanaged traffic.

I visited Kalsang Café and tried their Veg Steamed Momos, Veg Ramen Dry Noodles, and Ice Tea, and it was a lovely experience overall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth trying—I’d rate it a solid 4/5. The momos were soft and well-stuffed, the ramen dry noodles had great taste and texture, and the iced tea was refreshing and perfectly balanced. What truly made the visit even better was the very nice and courteous staff. Their warm service added a great touch to the meal. A wonderful place to enjoy good food with excellent hospitality!

I have visited this place many times. Its a must visit place if you are coming to mussorie. Evenings here are the best. The best thing ti have here is their pizza and soups. It is very cold in the evening here. Cars are not allowed here. Parking is 5-10 mins before this place and the walking distance is a beautiful path on its own. If you are coming here in monsoons , carry umbrellas and raincoats.

Amazing old british Era cottage whichbis converted into a small cage. The scenery and location is the highlight however the food at the cage just adds up to the entire trio. Their pizzas, shakes and coffe was just amazing.

Average experience! The place is quiet full during the evenings and staff is generally way too busy. You probably have to look out yourself to find a table for yourself and the order may take time to be served since it too full. We had a pizza, n few drinks. Loved the red velvet pastry, can go again for that. Rest nothing exceptional. Food quantity and quality was pretty good too. They must work on their service.

It was a very middling experience. We went in and sat at the corner table, and even after 15 minutes, no one from the staff came to take our order. It was as if they completely forgot we were sitting there. We saw them serving others (even the people sitting at the table beside us). Later, I had to call them over and ask them to take our order. The food was great; I really enjoyed their wood-oven pizza. But the service needs improvement.

Was in Mall road and wanted a birthday cake. Got a chocolate truffle and it was AMAZING. Yes it’s a bit expensive actually a Lot but was worth the taste and quality they provide. Also they have such a sweet bag for take away. 💙

We visited as a group of three, encouraged by the restaurant’s high ratings. The manager at the roadside entrance warmly invited us to go upstairs, but once we got there, the waiters and ushers insisted there were no available tables for three. This was surprising, as we could clearly see at least four or more vacant tables. The staff’s behavior felt odd and unwelcoming. I hope they improve their service and courtesy in the future.

The server we had, Mr Narendra Singh was too good, we went for two days in a row in spite of there being so many restaurants. The pizza, and garlic bread were awesome. Amazing old world colonial charm manor. Their food is good, I tried the Bombay Masala Pizza which was good. Sticky Toffee Pudding is wow! The staff is super friendly. The place is really nice for a cosy lunch or a dinner.

Visited Countdown restaurant after decades. We used to go here during my school days. Many of the Olden Goldies like Kwality, Volga, Aroma etc are missed dearly. Countdown continues to stand amidst the hoards of newer restaurants. Ordered the favourites: Vegetarian Chop suye Vegetarian Chowmine Vegetarian Manchurian gravy Vegetarian Manchurian dry And we were not disappointed. It's nothing fancy, it's a typical flavour which brings back memories of the yesteryears. Service by Ritesh was polite, process and quick. Thank you. The ambience is old school. A bit rough around the edges, a bit jaded. But I guess I'm not complaining cause the old school decor adds to the charm of the experience for old timers like us. But yes the absence of Air conditioning was missed. It is monsoon season and the humidity really got to me. Found parking right outside the restaurant.

Visited The Arches Café for breakfast. It was less crowded and has a great view right next to Laxman Jhula (currently under renovation). Once it reopens, this café will be a perfect viewpoint for the bridge and the Ganga. Tried the grilled sandwich and croissant, both were average, but the Americano and cold coffee were good. Worth visiting for decent food and the beautiful river view.

I had an amazing time at Arches Cafe. I spent the whole morning there reading, and the environment was quiet and relaxing. I tried a cookie, pancakes, and coffee — everything was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable as well; Yogesh Goud took care of me the whole time and was always kind and attentive. If you’re in Rishikesh, I highly recommend this café!

This place near Lakshman Jhula had a different vibe altogether. Food is good and the ambiance is very nice. View of Lakshman jhula is an add on for your experience. The calm going Ganga river beside this place is just amazing.

Arches is a lovely café with a beautiful view of the Ganga. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. Raul was kind enough to recommend some dishes - the Punjabi Chole was really tasty and perfectly spiced as per my taste (I asked for medium spice). The breakfast pancakes are tasty.

Only recent trip to Rishikesh I visited The arches by Salvus. On day one I went at 10:30pm but they had closed the last order. The vibe and look from outside is beautiful. Then on the second day I went for lunch as I had to head back after that. The vibe and environment in the day is not that pleasing. In the scorching heat the place is hot, AC don't work that well. But the food and the presentation is good. I had ordered mezze platter, hakka noodles and stuffed tandoori paneer. Mezze Platter - 5/5 Hakka noodles - 3/5 Stuffed Paneer - 3/5 My sister ordered brownie shake and rated 4/5 I ordered coconut cooler with mint - 5/5 It is a beautiful place and I would love to visit in the evening next time. One con is the service - you will have to wait for 35-45 min

A very nice place for food and drinks. Very comfortable warm and good food. Pan cakes are awesome. Fresh toast is also good. Club sandwitch is ok ok Blueberry shake and mixed berry shake can be better

This is so far my favourite spot in Rishikesh,Though it is very difficult to find a seat in this cafe most of the times. They have amazing food options with veg and non veg dishes. Their drinks are also worth trying 👍 They have plenty of sitting upstairs and downstairs.

I visited Ganga View Café and overall had a pleasant experience. The pizza was quite good and the coffee was decent, while the banoffee pie was just okay. But what truly stands out is the vibe of the place — calm, scenic, and almost like a pause from the city’s chaos. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the view. I’d recommend this café more for its ambience and beautiful setting than for the food itself.

The atmosphere was warm and calming, with just the right balance of music and stillness that allowed me to slow down and breathe. The service was thoughtful and kind, I've tried so many things here and tbh everything was okaish in taste but all you love is the moment

We enjoyed Ganga view cafe . The food taste great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly in front of the beautiful Ganga river. We want to thank especially our kind waiter who served us so kindly Mr. Kulveer singh. We will come again for sure 🪷

The view was very beautiful and utmost peace. You can see the ganges flowing and sunshine . Food was also delicious but order only what you have either reviewed or tasted earlier.

A must visit restaurant in Dehradun. All the dishes we ordered were excellent. This was my second time at this restaurant and luckily didn’t have to wait this time. While the food, service and ambience were great there was just one little incident which left a bitter experience. While admiring the view outside we requested a waiter who was walking in front of us to click our group picture and he rudely responded I’m busy. Anyways barring that we had good food and a good time.

This place is golden. It has lost its charm now though. The washrooms were dirty but the food is still too good. The food is a little on the expensive side but totally worth it. Farmhouse Pizza - 10/10 Chicken kothe Momos - 9/10 White Sauce Pasta - 9/10 Fried Rice - 8/10 Don’t forget to see the litchi trees on the entrance ♥️

A Place in My Heart — Orchard, Dehradun Orchard has been my go-to spot in Dehradun for as long as I can remember. Since my first visit back in 2010, the food, the service, and most of all, the feelings have remained just the same. It’s surely rare to find a place that holds time still, but this place somehow does it. It carries a quiet comforting warm, homely vibe… like familiar memory that never fades. Every visit brings back a flood of memories from college days and reminds me why this place will always be special. I hope to return again soon… and relive it all, one bite at a time.

Our overall experience was ok. From the time we were seated it took atleast 10 mins to get attention if servers. We had someone walk us to the table but the hanging over could be better. The Himalayan trout is something to try. 4/5 The penne Alfredo had very less quantity of pasta and more quantity of sauce. 2/5 Spaghetti with meatballs was much better. It was flavourful. The portion of pasta here was also less 4/5 Chicken Thuppa was something to try. Really authentic. 5/5

Stopped in for a hot chocolate and ended up waiting forty minutes for the same, only to be served an overly sweetened drink that tasted like Hershey’s cocoa powder mixed into skimmed milk. The service was extremely slow, hot chocolate was practically undrinkable, and it took another fifteen minutes just to get the bill. Overall, the spot feels overhyped. The ambience is cosy. You’ll find much better Tibetan food in the Buddha Temple colony in Clement Town.

Stopped by Orchard Restaurant on our way to Mussoorie and had a wonderful lunch with my family. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The ambience is warm, cozy, and very inviting – perfect for a relaxing meal. Really appreciated the music playlist; it added to the overall vibe. Also, the view from the restaurant is lovely and makes the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through Dehradun! Special Mention: Captain Ankit for making our visit even better with his hospitality. 🌟

The place is built in a wellness resort and has an ayurveda inspired theme. The Restaurant has a beautiful outside seating by the pool amidst the greenery. Service is top notch. Kudos to Deepak to make us aware of the best-sellers and serve us appropriately. Food has a modern take on keeping ayurvedic legacy. All in all highly recommended if one is looking out for a peaceful setup and food for Body and Soul.

We had a great experience at the resort. The services are great. The food menu can be a bit more inclusive and elaborate though.

I loved my experience. The ambiance is good, the food and beverage options are unique and delicious, and the staff is professional and pays attention to their customers. We stayed at the hotel for three days and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant staff, especially Mr. Balwant, Ajeet, Durgi, and others, were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food was soulful and delicious, perfectly complementing the serene atmosphere overlooking the mountains and the infinity pool. A truly relaxing and memorable stay.

We had a pleasant stay at Vileen. Food was delicious- staff were attentive, professional and courteous. Highly recommended if one seeks peaceful stay and wellness in mind.

We were attended by Durgi ,Simmi and Ankita at the restaurant. The girls and other staff were very polite , they served their best with beautiful gestures. Food is traditional yet delicious Big thumbs up

The place was at a prime location and now when the bridge is closed it is not as good as it was before. I remember this place as a perfect restaurant. The place and view from there is great. The food this time was OK but not excellent. The bread was a bit dry and other stuff also... I think they keep stuff out for a long time so it's not as fresh. All in all it was fine and still recommended.

After many visits over many years this experience was poor. The bridge is closed so very quiet here. Ordered Veggie Burger and Fries. After long wait the bun was rock hard, stale. The burger was wood. They said fried. Way over done. Could not eat it. Fries ok. I returned the meal and they were not happy but didn't charge me, which is fair. Just a bad experience after many good meals there in the past. Uggggh. Not returning there anymore.

Not worth the hype. Laxman jhulla is under construction so you won't be getting the best views from this location. Their menu is good, but the quality is not that good. I ordered a chocolate cake and got an insect on it, I communicated the same with one of the staff and he said it came from outside, but he didn't change the cake. Rishikesh has better places than this.

Devraj Coffee Corner German Bakery and Restaurant, located adjacent to the famous Laxman Jhula. Very nice place with the utmost scenic view of the river Ganga and also you can enjoy the view mountains from the other side. Food is great,variety of bakery options available. Service is great.

The three star is just for the amazing location. This location only make your food tastier even though it's not. Don't know why I have ordered Lasagna and Thai Curry with rice. For dessert we also ordered Cheese Pan Cake, just look at the picture, this was far from defination and rubbish in taste. Out of surprise, both were my worst dishes in life, mid that they don't serve non veg, doesn't mean thry can't ruin a dish, it was bland and tasteless. We had to eat because we had the best view.

Nice place to have breakfast . I would recommend their almond triangle and peanut cookies The food was okay , we tried their cheese and tomato toast. It was hard to bite 🙃 The view is nice and peaceful. This place is not wheelchair accessible as you need to climb down stairs to reach the restaurant.

Great location, it's right next to laxman jhula. Service takes time but the waiter notified of the same upfront. Ambience is basic but the visitors make it a good blend of culture. Food tasted good and staff was polite and helpful too.

Even though this place has great ratings it still feels like a hidden gem. We randomly came across it and instantly fell in love. The pork chilli is one of the most delicious things you'll eat in mussoorie. Their pork chilli momos are just as good. We tried their thukpa, it was way better in veg than in non veg. If the owner recommends something, just listen to him, his suggestions were on point.

The staff is courteous & polite. Their Decor is beautiful & the atmosphere was relaxing. They serve food from 1: 00 pm onwards. There is no nearby parking since it's located in the heart of Mall Road. Don't miss coming to this little gem if you are really looking for authentic Tibetian flavours & a food enthusiast. Food here is super delicious. Their Menu caters to all budgets. They provide fresh food which takes a little time to serve. We tried their mouthwatering Chicken momos & Chicken Sha- Phaley which was dripping with juices with one bite. They had a perfect blend of flavours. Highly recommended place to savor rich Tibetian flavours in a lovely Tibetian culture setting.

This restaurant is situated at Mall Road , with a very amazing range of Tibetan foods . The atmosphere,food , service there was so good. It had a very chill vibe to it . I would 100% recommended their food .

All together it was good Momo were awesome but please change your chutney it should be the authentic spicy chutney that should be served and all together it will be the best momo.

Its a good Tibetan restaurant where you can find both veg and non veg options. Overall it’s good and worth to visit. Food taste is nice so you can definitely go there. On price side, it’s bit expensive as per my own experience.

Super Amazing Food We went to this place twice. Tried Chicken Thupka for the first time and I really loved it. The place is small and cozy and serves good food. Do try the momos here too which are super Amazing. We had chicken steam momo and veg fried momo. The chutney is also very tasty. The staff is well behaved and is very friendly too. It's a Tibetan Cuisine restaurant having 3 levels of seating arrangement .

For an entire week, we happily came for delicious breakfasts at Ira's Kitchen and Tearoom. This truly is the best place in Rishikesh to enjoy a tasty meal and relax in a beautiful garden, shaded by palms and bamboos. There's a wonderful, positive energy and pleasant atmosphere at Ira's Kitchen. The staff are incredibly kind and always ensure customer satisfaction. You can truly feel like you're in a peaceful oasis, far from the city's hustle and bustle. It's the perfect spot for relaxation and a delicious meal!

This place is absolutely adorable—a peaceful green haven right in the heart of Tapovan. It has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The owner is kind and welcoming. The café is located about 100 meters uphill, off the main road and serves great food. I highly recommend it for breakfast. It tends to get crowded on Sundays, so you might have to wait a little for your order. Ira's Kitchen and Tearoom will be closed on wednesdays. While the prices aren't the cheapest, they are fair considering the portion sizes, location, and laid-back vibe of the place. A must visit for a healthy and hearty meal.

Beautiful food & beautiful atmosphere 🪷🤍🌿 very tasty food, we had a smoothie bowl and the coconut muselli bowl. The portion sizes are very good very filling. The staff are so friendly and kind we will definitely be back again thank you 🙏🏽

Just loved the place. Loved the food they served. I had a ragi stuffed chilla and pumpkin soup. Both were delicious. They had open mic live music which was beautiful. The host is gracious and lovely too. I wanted to have my last meal in Tapovan at Ira's but unfortunately it's closed on Wednesdays.

Loved the Food, Vibe and Ambience. Nice Outdoor cafe located 50 Mtrs. Inside the main road. Great food served promptly. I definitely recommend it for breakfasts. We ordered a crunchy Muesli bowl and Stuffed Besan Chilla, and both were outstanding. I never had a better Chilla and the chutney served was the star. The ingredients used are definitely high quality and very fresh. Service is quick and on point.

Our favourite cafe in Rishikesh! The food is delicious and really generous serving sizes. Customer service is great too - the staff and owner are super friendly! Have been multiple times and will definitely be back

This is a beautiful, green, peaceful place If i brag about the food You might not believe it But it’s one of most tastiest meals i ever had I was there in Rishikesh for a month We never skipped a meal at ira’s Unless you get late because it closes by evening
