I had been meaning to visit this place for what feels like forever and finally got the chance during my recent trip to Dehradun. After a 13-year wait, I can say: it was absolutely worth it. I can never forget the taste I have from this restaurant. The FOOD was mouth-watering 🤌🏻. You will feel you are in heaven. We ordered - butter chicken, their special dal makhani, boiled rice, pudina parantha, and one paneer sabji. And you will not feel heavy after having a meal over here. Thank you so much for serving us such a heavenly meal. Now this restaurant is my permanent thing whenever I will be there in Dehradun. TBH, while writing this review I am craving for that food. ❤️🫠

For the name and the hype, I don't think it really matches the level. Service was really good. Ambience is weirdly cheap for the prices in the menu! We had Veg platter and some drinks. Paneer was really good, just for eating Paneer items I can actually come here again, it's so soft and melting in mouth, probably the best Paneer I ever had! Other items are just okay like in any other regular restaurant!!

The Potato Fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, lightly seasoned to enhance the flavor without overpowering it. They were served hot and fresh, and every bite felt satisfying. The Potato Cutlets were the real surprise — crisp, golden brown, and packed with a flavorful potato filling. You could tell they were freshly prepared, not frozen. The chutney served with them added the perfect zing. What stood out most was the quality and care in preparation — even simple dishes were made with attention to detail, which made the taste truly memorable and unforgettable. I have been a regular visitor to the Town table for their fantastic Chicken and mutton biryani. Yesterday a few of my friends went there and had Mushroom for starters, ordered Pasta, fried rice, Mexican grilled vegetables with rice for main course and Brownie with ice cream for dessert. It was a bit disappointing to see really tiny mushrooms in the starters. Also the service guy was not helpful in suggesting some good Manchurian with fried rice. Also the fried rice was quite bland. Most shocking was the ice cream scoop. It was a really small scoop. We ordered another brownie but the ice cream scoop was really small. For the price they charge it was a below average experience.

Visited Town Table with my wife for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The place has a lovely rooftop vibe with a beautiful view of Mussoorie, which makes the dining experience even more special. We ordered cocktails, prawns, mushrooms, and pizza – all of which were delicious. The food was not only very tasty but also served in good quantity, which is always appreciated. The cocktails were well-made and paired perfectly with the food. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Another plus point is that the restaurant has its own car parking, which makes it very convenient given the busy Rajpur Road area. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxed dinner, whether you’re going as a couple, with family, or with friends. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Dehradun and want good food with a great view!

The ambience of the restaurant is laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The service is prompt and the chef takes his own sweet time to make dishes which are top class. They have a separate area for small gatherings.

I visited this place with high hopes and expectations but this place turned out to be a very big disappointment. Third class service and staff. Even after calling waiter and waiting for 20 minutes he did not attend us. Then after complaining to the manager the waiter finally came at our table. While taking order also he was distracted by his phone . The plates were too dirty ,i have a habit of cleaning things with tissue at a restaurant before using it and i coild literally see the black dirt stuck around the corners and centre of that white plate . Food is not up to mark , either too spicy or just okayish . Overpriced based on the quality and quantity of food. Late service. The glasses for drinking water had a very pungent smell. Overall the only thing that was clean at this place were the washroom. I hope to see changes in their staffs attitude &mismanagement , cleanliness and service .

Food is good. Comfortable seating available. Other restaurants and shopping stores are also in the same building hence car parking may be a problem. No finger bowl was given. Butter Naans were average. I think hard drinks are also served but no menu was given and only food menu was shown, before leaving saw the bar. Seperate large closed space available for independent functions.

I'll give Town Table a 5 star because apart from their food being undoubtedly good, they treated me with patience for almost 4 hours as I was waiting for my friend who got stuck in traffic. I ordered mexican bowl, portion size was more than enough and taste didn't dissapoint as well. Thier filter coffee was also brought joy to my tongue. The staff was courteous and helpful. If I'm in dehradun again, town table shall be one of my top most consideration.

Nyc Comfy bar..!! Budget friendly..!! All kinds of Brands are there.. The seating space is also quite good plus the crowd is also good.. Tep wheeler parking is available but no space for four wheelers parking, however you can park nearby but at your own risk.. The servers are very polite and courteous.. This bar is not at all nice. The ambience is not at all good. It's too hot in there. ACs are wrapped with newspapers and are not in service. Only 2 waiters are present but they are quite efficient. The food that is the kebabs were sour and tasted different because of the use of curd which was expired long back. Beer jugs are not available. Beer, vodka, whiskey, etc stocks are too limited. Music is seldom played. The televisions are kept on and muted for most of the time.

Located on the third floor of Axiom tower at Jakhan, it used to be quite popular with the party lovers but the place is loosing bit of its charm. The lift was not working, construction work on near the stairs and the area inside seemed crowded. The vibes are not great including the atmosphere! Ambiance is very average.

Extremely disappointing experience at The Tavern Restaurant. The place was overcrowded, and despite waiting patiently, not a single staff member came to attend to us. The table we managed to get was dirty, and when we requested the staff to clean it, they simply turned a blind eye. To make things worse, they expect you to place orders via WhatsApp — which was completely unresponsive. No one cared to check or assist even after repeated messages. For a place with such hype, the service was shockingly poor. Definitely not visiting again.

Nice place or I must say best place in Dehradun to hangout. A must visit place We ordered Dal jeera rice , paneer, naans & chicken lolly & chilly mushrooms food was excellent. Atmosphere was great. We went 4-5 place in near-by but they have best collection of drinks & cocktails in town for sure. I have to drive so bad luck I haven't try any cocktails. Pros- The service is really great. They operate really good covid safety procedures, like plastic covers for cutlery and masked entry only. The menu is pretty diverse. Try this place if you like non-vegetarian food, it has a splendid variety in that style. Cons- It's an okayish place. The ambience is regular, nothing interesting. The food quality is not that good. Some items on the menu might even be unavailable, in our case it was tea and coffee.

10/10 place. I went there for just hanging out. The weather inside is amazing. Beautiful scenery. You can roam around the whole place. Imagine how the movies were shot there. See the rich history of the building. The pictures I shot were pure gold. There is also a ticket to enter of ₹25 and I suggest you to take your own personal vehicle there but it is not a necessity.

This place is built by British government and there are many movies filmed here.The timings are from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. depends upon season. the entry fee to enter the institute is nominal. Photography is prohibited inside the institute premises. the institute also organises guided museum tours for visitors on given time. so you can plan your visit accordingly. You can carry the food as well There’s a canteen also inside the institute premises.

So we had a reservation for punjab grill but when we reached, staff told us to sit in friends n blends(something that is on first floor) which they told was a part of punjab grill. The menu they served was from friends n blends. I mean it was different from what we thought. Talking about ambience, it was not good at all, not soo clean. About Food, as we have ordered sizzler that was blend like its name.

The place is sophisticated. Ambience was average.Food is decent. I tried north indian food that was good in taste not that wow as per my expectations because people recommend this place so much so I made up my mind according to that but yeah it's decent.Prices are higher than the majority of restaurants and I think that isn't worth it. They've variety of options to choose from every category in menu. I'm in love with their healthy mojitos. But yes, it's a little expensive. Specially, it's not pocket friendly for students.

I found this place nice and cozy. And Affordable. I had some beer and ordered Chili Chicken. They gave complimentary peanuts with beer. The chicken was delicious. But if the chicken had been a little bit more tender, it would have been great. The atmosphere was fine. There is outdoor seating also. You can enjoy food and drinks while listening to music. The service is also great. You can visit if you want to hangout with friends and have some drinks and food or for a casual date.

Though the place has been nicely done, food was tasty and even staff was friendly. However, they it's little off the prime location and they don't even accept Cards.

Ive been to this place, food quality was good. What we ordered: chilli paneer (dry) , cigar rolls and virgin mojito. Staff was polite and service was quick. They have enough parking space.

Last year,It was amazing day... We were celebrate my bestie's bday.Firstly we didn't like the vibe and ambience....After sometime we enjoy alot... We danced, mocktails and food so delicious.

Food is delicious. The glass walled kitchen gives you the view of your food being cooked and obviously the good hygiene is visible. Cost is reasonable. Casual dinning with bar service. Suitable for families as one portion of the restaurant is set aside exclusively for family guests....

If you have a late night plan (after 10pm ) with your buddies and you want hukkah as well then this place is highly recommended. Their rates are good as well but they are limited to only 2-3 brands in terms of beer. Checkout their basement seating its comfy and quiet as well. Snacks tasted good and it was worth the money. Will recommend to everyone.

The downside to the restaurant is that the lighting and the seating gives it a bar ambience and not that of a family restaurant. It definitely has the locational advantage but is not able to capitalise on it and that's sad. Considering that the food is not bad. However, it's image will always be seen as an extended bar that serves food too. Parking is a huge problem.

We went on a family lunch on 17 Jan 2024. We ordered food and the food was so unhygienic the plate were dirty and most of all the food we ordered it was having small small cockroaches 🪳 in it. The hotel needs to be suspended for lifetime. My sister in law just got delivery and she was eating that food, you can think how dangerous was this for her. This restaurant needs to be closed forever.

My experience here was thoroughly disappointing. Expected a great ambiance and lighting, but that wasn't the case. Food was average and not worth the prices. Only one drink was impressive, rest of the food was unremarkable. They had a music system, but played unimpressive songs. Please keep in mind that this is just my personal experience. Maybe others will have a more positive experience, but for me, it was a letdown.

I recently visited the Pind Balluchi branch on GMS Road in Dehradun, and I must say, I was truly amazed by the taste of the food! The Achari Chicken Tikka was the standout dish I ordered, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Chach was equally impressive, refreshing and a great complement to the meal. The restaurant has a charming Punjabi vibe that transports you to a traditional setting. The staff was not particularly interactive, which could be improved for a better dining experience. One of the positives was the ample parking space available, making it convenient for visitors. I got a 10% off on overall bill too!

Pind instantly brings to mind Punjab and authentic Punjabi cuisine, and this restaurant was no exception. We visited as a group, which gave us the chance to sample a variety of starters and main courses. The ambiance is designed to resemble a Punjabi dhaba, but personally, I wasn’t a fan. The random colorful lights felt out of place and a bit odd, though thankfully, the tables had proper lighting, which made dining more comfortable. Now, the food—easily the highlight of the experience. The paneer tikka was probably the best I’ve ever had—soft, smoky, and elevated perfectly with a squeeze of lemon and mint chutney. The corn tikka was decent but leaned too much on the sweeter side due to the natural sweetness of the corn. The roti was good but not exceptional—I was hoping for softer, fluffier rotis, so that was a bit disappointing. However, the curries were outstanding, with just the right balance of spice and creaminess. One major letdown was the lassi. It had an artificial, almost chemical-like taste and was excessively sweet—not something I’d recommend. Service-wise, the wait time was unexpectedly long, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. That said, the pricing was reasonable, and the portion sizes were satisfying. Would I come back? Maybe—for the paneer tikka and curries, but I’d definitely skip the lassi.

This is the worst restaurant I have visited in recent history. 1. There is big board displayed with today special ability,as soon as I enter and order today speciality they said they have made only small portion. 2.I asked for lukewarm water.The guy told me that they provide lukewarm water only through packed drinking water.I asked him how will you do it,he said he will put packed bottle directly into microwave than I told him it is not safe ,just boil the ro water he said he will boil only packaged drinking water.The water he provided finally was so hot that it's difficult to even hold. 3. I ordered for soup ,it was so pathetic that cups were smelling and chilli was beyond imagination.

Brew Factory is Doon's up &coming restro, bar cum rooftop dining point that serves decent food crafts with mesmerizing outer views. Service may not be that fast but overall food quality is above average. Price wise it may appear a bit expensive but the rooftop views and awesome vibes make it a must go place especially during weekends.

Amazing place in dehradun giving DELHI vibe and you can also have mussorie view at night.. The pizza here is amazingly delicious, Mushroom kurkure is perfectly crunchy.. The only issue was with tandoori chicken which wasn't appropriate firstly but when we complained about it, it was exchanged by the delecious and perfect tandoori chicken.. Located at the 7th floor adjacent to the exit of Pacific mall, the place manages to fetch customers but only on the weekends. The ambience will gonna suck you in the moment when you are looking for some cool hangout groupfies & selfies. Very expensive if you evaluate the value for money. Per person's meal+drinks will cost you aprox 2000 bucks. And yes there is No Microbrewery as they claim! You will only get canned beers and liquor that too at very high price! Food was nice but the service will take years to reach your table! The place is restricted to play just hollywood music.

A little bit on the expensive side that includes food, drink and parties considering the food quality is quite average and nothing new to the table 😐 Talking about the ambience it's nice the only problem I have is that this is a club and people bring their children with them sometimes for a moment I was confused if I was in a pub or a wedding hall. 😅 There should be a separate arrangements for couples and people coming with family. Overall it's pretty average and expensive.

Park Bistro is best place in Vasant Nagar locality. This place is great for dining with family and friends. It has one big dining hall and two small luxury sitting dinings for family and small get together. It is fully AC with lots of space for birthday and other parties. All dining rooms has big TV sets so even if you go single you can enjoy of food with some entertainment. We tried Indian and chinese food and the quality and taste of both was good. I would recommend it for spending quality time with friends and good dining.

It's a very nice Building and huge compound, British Structure Building, inside 6 museum related to forest, one is dedicated for woods, one ia for insects, one is for trees etc. u can roam around it will take half of your day..

This forest academy and research centre is the main attraction of Dehradun City. It is the 2nd largest forest research academy in entire Asia. It was founded by the British government during their rules in India. Since the origin of the Garhwal people, they were very famous for forestry services and that knowledge of forestry being utilised by then British government and founded the research centre. Uttarakhand is the treasure of very valuable medicinal trees and plants. This research centre is very big and campus is nearly 30 sq.km in area. Leopard can be seen in the day time also in the adjacent jungle of this campus. Many Hindi films were shot in this centre. The place is very beautiful. Inside the building complex there are many museums of forestry related things and are an added attraction. One should not miss to visit the place if one is in Dehradun city. Dehradun obtain the name from the the great teacher of Kaurava and Pandava, Dronacharya of Mahabharata. Dronacharaya lived in Present Dehradun 4000 years back. This is a historical place. Here Dehra means place of residence and Dun has been named after Drona.

Very surprised to see such a high rating. Cocktails are quite bad, basically mix alcohol with the said mixer but no skill in proportions and mixing. Food is served in fine dining manner but food that goes with sauces do not have sauces with it. Cocktails are bad and they refuse to serve tea / coffee for those who don’t drink. Music from DJ is playing a tape loud and that’s it - no vibes During our time, we electricity went out - we are fine with it but they could have come and asked us to move inside. Lifts are slow and staff there don’t know why. Overall it doesn’t feel like Hyatt brand I believe largely because staff is mostly young and in training period. Maybe it will get better but it did made me waste a lot of time coming all the way there.

Recently visited Beyul at Hyatt Recency. Had an amazing experience. They serve varied variety of Mocktails and cocktails to cater every taste. They have a captivating ambience. What added the charm to the evening was its live music. If you are looking for a serene escape, this is a must visit.

Fresh, aestheticaly rich and sumptuous. The place has been redeveloping itself right form it opened to continue taking feedback from guests and actively putting them to action. Have been a regular visitor having tried the palce during the day and evening, weekdays and weekends. The charm of the place stays at all times due to the setting and good music. The inhouse music performers, mixologists, chefs and servers all unite to create a good experience. The menu has been totally revamped from what it was from the starting to suit the Indian palate and compliment the drinks and music which is great positive change. A good party destination that offers the luxe experience with comfort, taste and top end service by a well trained team from bottom to top.

This place used to be good but not anymore. The food was just average( we had ordered kung pao chicken , fried rice and veg stew) and so was the service . There was something wrong with the draught beer that I had ordered maybe it was the delivery system or the beer keg itself , I don’t know . I did inform the manager so just be careful while ordering beer on tap. On the plus side they have a nice sitting area both inside and outside but they really need to improve their food quality and service.

The place has potential and with new staff like Rahul and chef Bhupendra things should improve. They took feedback very positively and I hope they implement the improvements soon. The food was okay. We tried the cosmopolitan, veg tandoori platter and farmer pizza. The ambience needs to be spruced up. The menu needs to be updated . They seem to be in the process to do so. During our late lunch visit on a quiet Thursday at 4 PM, we had the place to ourselves. The staff, though welcoming and helpful, lacked formal hospitality training, which was evident in their limited knowledge of the menu. However, their warmth and willingness to assist made up for it. The real star of the experience was Executive Chef Bhupinder Singh Rawat, who personally recommended dishes and ensured that everything served was top-notch in presentation and flavor. We started with Ryu-mer Wild Mushroom Soup and Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup, both of which were well-received. The Lamb Kibben was a standout dish—highly recommended. Other highlights included the Mushroom Caps and Ratan Manjusha (Kofta), each offering a delightful blend of flavors. The Pesto Pasta, customized to our preference, was another winner. The real standout was Char Grilled Bhatti Khas Murg with Corn, spinach and herb rice mushroom sauce. Roumours delivered an exceptional culinary experience. If you’re looking for great food with a view, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The experience was not very pleasant. The location and view from the rooftop were great, although the food and sitting experience were equally opposite. The Menu that we see online and the one we get there is drastically on opposite ends. The food was good but the rates were high, portions were small. The seating area was dirty and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Overall, I will think not twice but thrice before going there again.

Do not go here on weekdays..the management is so poor that even after ordering multiples times the staff comes clueless after 30 minutes saying that there was no order done. Then had to leave the place midway my meal. Worst experience ever.
