Mexican restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Torrevieja, El Charro Negro is a beloved cantina-style restaurant that brings the flavors of Mexico to life. With its lively and colorful decor, this eatery offers an extensive menu featuring classic dishes like fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, and chimichangas. Whether you're craving cheesy quesadillas or flavorful nachos, there's something for everyone—including vegetarian options and a special kids' menu.
Probably one of the best meals we've had in the town, everything is fresh and light, lovely atmosphere, great service, large portions, and a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, I highly recommend it 😋
AGA M — Google review
We asked for several items of the menu, the quality was aligned with the price and the amount was towards large quantities. The service was nice and the atmosphere typical of a tourist place in Torrevieja. Good option to try some Mexican food in the town.
Gabriel G — Google review
Again … being of Mexican heritage … I had great expectations. I ordered the mdd. Starter, main, drink, dessert or coffee = €13,90 Definitely not Mexican cuisine. I asked for Tabasco or similar.to,pep up the meal. And when I saw the bill, … I was very disappointed…. An extra charge of €2 for hot sauce ( less than a shot glass ). When I went to the restroom, I passed the kitchen and noticed this little portion just waiting to be served to the next client. Really a shame. This ruined a nice lunch.
Maria M — Google review
We stumbled upon this restaurant, and what a find!! I cannot recommend them enough. Fabulous cocktails, fantastic food and great variety and options. Fantastic service, lovely staff and such a vibe. And to top it all off, cheapest dinner date we’ve had in Spain with a 3 course meal and drinks. We went back every night for the rest of our trip!! Convinced the in-laws to go as well. I would recommend booking because it’s likely to be full.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ El Charro Negro – Torrevieja We were a group of 15 and still got a table with just one hour’s notice – excellent service! The food was classic Mexican, full of flavor, and everyone in our group was delighted. The Margarita cocktail was especially tasty. Great place with delicious food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere – highly recommended! 🌮🍹🇲🇽

We came here because of the good reviews and they didn't lie. We didn't have much time, but José, our waiter made sure that we received our food in less than 10 minutes. He was extremely nice, he deserves at least 6 Stars. We will definitely come back, because the food was excellent as well.

Cool place, great experience with tasty food and nice staff. Will come back. Photos of the starter Hummus plate, main dish African Stew and chocolate brownie dessert. Even the bathroom was fresh with a modern and clean look.

Very nice place to get vegan and vegetarian meals. The dishes are extraordinary yet low priced with the ever-changing menu del dia. We go here every time we are in the area. Without a doubt the no.1 good food place on the Costa Calida! We are fans for life. I am sharing just a few pictures of some meals.

Our second visit to this restaurant as our son is vegetarian and it's hard to find decent vegetarian options in Torrevieja. The food here is amazing and there is so much choice, even my meat eating husband loved it. Staff are lovely and very attentive and the decor is great also. The only criticism I'd have is that it's quite pricey but the portions are very big. Nevertheless we'd recommend it and we'll definitely be back again.
Karolina G — Google review
Highly recommend. We went back for our second night in the area it was so good. Great range of vegan as well as veggie options. We shared a vegan pizza (half & half), burger and burrito. My father isn't veggie/vegan, but he really liked all the food. Great to support animal welfare and environmental causes while eating healthily.

The five of us went for dinner and had a lovely time together. The desserts were really good and the strawberry chocolate raw cake was the best.

Nice vegetarian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Food lacked a little taste but otherwise it was a good experience. Desserts are huge!

I'm a typical carnivore so I went with a very skeptical attitude. The restaurant surprised me very positively. Beautiful decor, delicious food, solid portions at a reasonable price. I will probably not come back soon, I prefer ribs, but I will gladly bring my veg-friends

We celebrated a birthday here. The table was booked in advance, in the evening everything is busy in the restaurant. Very beautiful serving of dishes. I especially strongly recommend banana dessert and salad with a cheese. Menu is in Spanish and English. The waiters speak English. Attentive and fast service. I think this is deservedly one of the best places to have dinner in Torrevieja.
Nataliia K — Google review
Absolutely outstanding 👏, I'm very impressed with the food quality, and impeccable service, on a busy Friday night, 10/10. Will definitely go back for more delicious food and dreamy desserts.
Liliana D — Google review
Stylish restaurant. It closed after covid and I thought they went out of business. I was so disappointed as it was over of my favourite restaurant. Fortunately they have reopened in a better location. The service is very fast, very efficient. The staff is very efficient and more importantly the food is different and original and very well presented. The portion are big. My favourite dish is the prawn salad with guacamole. Absolutely delicious. The goat cheese salad with Serrano ham is to die for. Without mentioning the other dishes. A restaurant to try in the heart of Torrevieja. 👍
Nathalie T — Google review
Great Food, excellent service with a smile. We enjoyed our evening with heavenly starters of 4 different toasts and a selection of Iberian salami. Grilled squit and Iberian feather as main and tastefull desserts all in a industrial styled environment brightend by some wallpaintings. We can highly recommend El Patio if you want a slightly different experience than a traditional tapasrestaurant as delicate fusion influences are pasionately mixed creating courses of which you can enjoy with all your senses. We´ll be back!

Wonderful restaurant. Great service. You need to book in advance if you can as very popular. Great food and spectacular views.
Naomi W — Google review
Nautilus - a strong feeling of a tourist trap Nautilus is located right down by the water. A large restaurant with 2 floors of dining. The 2nd floor is probably more "fine dining". Extremely busy, both lunch and dinner. Today's staff probably had a bit of a feel of people who didn't think it was fun to have customers. The tables are simple with the simplest plastic chairs, which have probably seen better days. The menu is large and extensive - with both "Spanish" specialties and a little more standard international meat dishes. None of the sauces are gluten-free - it seems that here there is nothing but bag sauce. The food came quickly. nice portions but the food is a bit tasteless. The kitchen is far from efficient. We all thought this was a typical decent restaurant in the class of a tourist trap.
Arne-Inge C — Google review
Found us a table when it was really busy at lunchtime. Extensive menu, but of course had to have fish. We had the cod and the salt baked seabass - worth the wait it takes to prepare and presented well/fillleted at the table. Desserts were delicious too.
Laura L — Google review
The place has become simply outrageous. Since we live nearby, we have already had dinner here a few times. Today, around 4 pm, the terrace was almost empty. I walked over and asked the young waiter if I could have a beer? When he went inside to ask. I waited and waited, then came out with a mocking grin, he didn't say no either, from which I concluded that they wouldn't welcome me if I just had a beer. Forget about the place! I don't recommend it to anyone!
Steaven R — Google review
We had a lovely meal here. Service was very good and the food was amazing. Lovely seating area outside by the sea or inside. There’s also another outdoor seating area at the back which is nice to relax in with a pina colada or glass of wine
Jane R — Google review
Lovely place. Nothing negative to say about it. Great choice of dishes expertly suggested by waiter.
Susan S — Google review
Beautiful view, but service is terrible.👎👎👎👎👎 I mean, the waitress of this restaurant, she deliberately ignored me.I feel like she's being racist, maybe because I'm Asian. And I know she know. Don't worry, I will never go to this restaurant again. I don't care if the food is expensive, but the servers should care about the customers, not treat them like they're begging for free food. I'm not surprised that many of the comments are negative. If the restaurant still considers this normal and doesn't think about improving, good luck!
Anchaya — Google review
The food was nice, but the service was extremely disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, and it was striking how unhappy the waitresses seemed. I honestly don’t understand how this level of service is still tolerated. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Located just off Gran Via, it attracts both tourists and locals seeking delicious traditional Spanish cuisine. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring meat, fish, and of course, their specialty paella.
We have been coming here for many years - and are a little more impressed every time. An absolute must on our to-do list - recommended for both dinner and lunch. The hot starters, fish, pasta, vegetarian food and not forgetting the fish :-) - Everything was simply delicious. Many thanks to the friendly and attentive team and for welcoming and hosting us so kindly. This place is simply a vacation in its own right. Oh well, you should reserve a table to experience this gem.

A special thanks to Lorena, who served our table with such warmth and professionalism – she really made our evening extra special. Highly recommended!

Very good restaurant with beautiful view. The food is delicious and the service friendly and fast. We will definitely come back. 👌

I had the pleasure of trying the pulpo a la plancha and it was absolutely divine. The octopus was grilled to perfection—tender on the inside with a beautifully crisp char on the outside. It had a deep, smoky flavor that paired incredibly well with the creamy base underneath, which added a subtle richness to each bite. The presentation was elegant and appetizing, and the microgreens added a lovely freshness. Highly recommended for any seafood lover!
Wout K — Google review
Fantastic view, great service, but the food was average to potentially good. We had a paella for 2, the ingredients and the shrimps tasted very fresh which makes me happy, however the portion for 2 persons is rather small and the dish was extremely salty. Half the salt and a bigger portion would definitely make me return or change my review.
Elie K — Google review
Loved this place and definitely going to go there again. Went there with my family and had a great time. As English speakers it was easy to communicate with the waiters. I would recommend it to ANYONE for any event a family birthday celebration or a date spot, the atmosphere is fenomenal which creates only positive vibes!!!

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, The Captain’s Table is an absolute must-visit. Nestled on the upper floor of Punta Marina Centre, this vibrant eatery is renowned for its unbeatable all-day breakfast deal featuring eight items for just 3.50. It's a favorite among both holidaymakers and expats who crave a hearty full English breakfast.
Great fish and chips at great price. Friendly staff would strongly recommend visiting. Been coming to this place for years and years never had a bad experience. Bookings recommended peak season on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Kitchen shuts at 9pm

The Captain’s Table, Punta Prima Located on the upper floor of the Punta Marina Commercial Centre, The Captain’s Table is a family-run restaurant with a British-style menu and a laid-back, welcoming vibe. Starters: We began with the garlic mushrooms and calamari with aioli dip. The calamari was a bit chewy, but the garlic mushrooms were a pleasant surprise—something different from the usual starters. Main Courses: I had the Captain’s Fish Platter. All the fish was deep-fried, a little greasy, and quite plain overall. My wife had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh, tasty, and definitely worth the price. Atmosphere: There was a bingo game going on outside in the tent, which gave the evening a nice, social feel. The outside of the restaurant isn’t particularly inviting, but we decided to give it a shot after seeing how busy it was inside. The interior is decent and clearly popular with regulars. Menu & Pricing: The menu includes lots of specials and chef’s choices, with options like steak nights and set meals. Prices are very reasonable and there’s something for everyone. Service: The staff were friendly and welcoming—no complaints there at all. Overall Impression: It wasn’t my favorite spot, but it’s clear why it appeals to many. With affordable prices, friendly service, and regular events, it’s the kind of place where some people will definitely find their way.

Dinner here this evening was yum!!! 😋 Steak and chips for me, fish and chips for my other half. We both enjoyed our meal - fresh and tasty and the chips were definitely hand cut and cooked here. Definitely recommend and they gave lots of entertainment in different evenings. Delicious breakfast this morning at The Captain’s Table. The cappuccino was so-so and tasty enough to drink. Not what I would classify as a cappuccino - not quite sure why it’s so hard to get right these days!! Everything else was superb and the service was excellent too. Love the fact they provide a small pair of scissors to open the little packets of ketchup etc. So much easier than other places where I struggle to open the sachets!! Forgot to take photos 😱. And I’m sure I’ll be back for another breakfast and then I’ll come back and update this post with photos.

Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back! 🍴✨

Diner here today. Fish and chips were lovely but there was some sniping going on between staff members and when I went to pay the man behind the counter, he never uttered a word to me. Took my money and sat my change on counter. Was everything OK? Thanks for your custom, NOT A WORD. Pity...

Been to this restaurant twice - once in August 2023 and once in August 2024. I can honestly say that I thought about this meal all year. Updated - Travelled over an hour for a nice here and it's closed even though it's open on Google. Pretty disappointed to be honest For my birthday, my parents and my husband brought me here in the day time. It was delightful, overlooking the sea, the sun was beating down. On arrival the staff were amazing, proffessional and knowladgeable. I ordered the lobster royal, Dad some white fish, mum some salmon and the hubby paella. All of the food was simply amazing but the best was my lobster royal, worth every single penny. The lobster cappuccino was delightful, the lobster fresh and succulent. I've never eaten lobster from the shell, it was so fun cracking open and finding the meat. So delicious. So fresh, a fantastic all round experience. Well done everyone at the lobster, you got one very happy family here ❤️❤️❤️

Really enjoyed it here! Food was quick and very tasty, the band and dancers were really very good also. Amazing atmosphere in here!
Alex T — Google review
Everyone loves an evening at Patio Andaluz! For a change we decided to have lunch there. It was quiet compared to the evenings, but far from empty. A good choice as a lot of the nearby restaurants can be super busy at lunchtime. We had the menu del día….not a huge choice, but adequate. We both had the russian salad followed by sardines for me and turkey for my husband. All was good, especially the sardines, although the turkey was a bit bland. Accompanying vegetables/potatoes were very average. My pudding was excellent (see photo).
Heather M — Google review
It's a good place for atmosphere and for experiencing flamenco dancing and Spanish folkloric music. The food however is ok but not top notch. The service is passable but often the staff seem stressed due to high demand and to few people on staff.

Very good Spanish food. We’ve ordered fish - sea bas and sole. Delicious! Worth coming here.

Very much a tourist venue, but good fun. Music and entertainment throughout the evening. Pretty good flamenco show. Food is of good standard. All in all a enjoyable evening with visitors.

We were there during dinner time, just after 7pm. That’s an extreme factory of food of medium quality. The service do its best, but the kitchen doesn’t. Swordfish filet is like a piece of bitter unsalted carpet. Rabbit stew is made od „soup leftovers”. Sea bass is barely fine, though unsalted like everything there.

The staff at Asia Kitchen Restaurante are warm and friendly, providing excellent service. The restaurant boasts an inviting interior design that is both well-presented and comfortable, complete with air conditioning. The menu offers delicious food at a reasonable price of around 10 euros per person for a three-course meal and one drink, which can include beer. Highly recommended dishes include the delectable hot sour soup, sizzling beef with noodles, and egg fried rice. Complementary prawn crackers are also provided.
We hadn’t booked a table, but that wasn’t a problem. We sat outside, in a kind of glass box, with open windows, so there was a little breeze to keep it cool. Really good menu del dia and staff are friendly, good location and the the restaurant is bright with some very nice interior features, for example an artifical cherry blossom tree and nice wall murals.

Our family had dinner here 2 days in a row because we loved it so much! Would recommend to book a table in advance because this place is always full, for good reason! Would also recommend getting a table inside the restaurant. Better atmosphere there! Very kid friendly too!

Cocktail bar
Surfers Bar & Grill, established in 2008, has become known for its exceptional food, drinks, and customer service. Situated on the Playa Flamenca promenade, it offers stunning views of the Mediterranean in a laid-back setting. The bar features typical coastal decor, a spacious terrace, and a cozy atmosphere. It's an ideal spot to kick off the day with a delightful breakfast while enjoying the sea breeze.
I’m on my own so getting a welcome to a new place is amazing all I can say is Veronica is a lovely happy human and greats you like family. Wow feel so comfortable I will be back time and time again. The view the food the service are all on point and they have a great clientele that provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere accompanied by the stunning view of the playa Flamenca. Price are cheap for a beach front bar wow

Great location near the coast line. Decent selection of food and decent cocktail menu. 4 adults and 2 young adults all with a meal plus multiple drinks and a few cocktails came to €160 which wasn't too bad considering. Nice relaxed atmosphere and tentative staff and would visit again.
James L — Google review
We went there for brunch. There were a lot of customers, mostly foreigners. The waiters speak both English and Spanish. In addition, they were all accommodating. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a granola bowl and a bacon sandwich. Both food were acceptable. I suppose if you order there specialties, it could be more appetizing and flavorful. I’d recommend it for English food. I suppose it’s there specialty.
Christy J — Google review
Pretty OK food, nice staff and a beautiful view. Not the best food though, will probably not eat here again because of the food being too boring and expensive for being so bland.
Sara L — Google review
Surfers bar & grill is a great beach side restaurant to grab a snack and a drink on a beach day. With food well priced and tasty combined with the relaxed and easy atmosphere of the bar it makes the perfect visit. I really enjoyed the visit, it is also worth pointing out how busy the bar gets meaning it could be hard to get a table here and it may be suitable to reserve a seat. I also think my food was well done but the chips were fairly average and if you want a more adventurous meal maybe another restaurant maybe be better suited. Overall this is a great spot to visit with friendly staff and good prices.

What a lovely bar and grill. Great food, well presented and very tasty. Nice staff.Very busy outside when we visited, but glad we had a table inside as it was very quirky.Nice music too.

If you're a meat enthusiast, Chimi Churri is the ultimate destination for an unforgettable dining experience. This Argentinian gem offers an all-you-can-eat feast featuring mouthwatering skewers that are constantly served at your table. While you might be tempted by a variety of sides like salad, pasta, and bread, it's wise to save room for the star of the show—the succulent meats! The ambiance is lively with great music enhancing your meal, and the service is top-notch.
The food was absolutely delicious, with great music and a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent as well. Since it was quite busy, we were seated a bit off to the side, away from the other tables. The staff checked in with us several times because they felt it might not be ideal, but we actually really enjoyed the spot. We’ll definitely be coming back here on our next holiday in the area. There’s only one thing I’d like to recommend if you come here: take it easy. Because as they say themselves at the start "a lot of meat is coming" :D

So far one of the best food experiences I’ve had in this area. If you are looking for “good food near playa Flamenca” this is the best place. The food was so good really well prepared and presented nicely. The staff made the whole experience by being very welcoming and passionate about the food. We also spoke to Daniel one of the owners who told us it was a family business. The buffalo was the best meat I’ve ever had! Thank you food a great holiday experience

Great Place with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The Service was incredible, every wish was met. It was an experience you usually don’t get elsewhere. Definitely come here if you enjoy a great variety of meats That are all absolutely delicious.

The food was absolutely outstanding perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Every dish felt like it was made with care and expertise. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. It’s rare to find a place that nails both food and service so perfectly.

Best food we've had all holiday! Melt in the mouth meat and homemade sauces. Staff are so lovely which makes the experience even better. 10/10 recommend this gorgeous family run restaurant.
R E — Google review
The food was delicious and they came frequently unlike other similar restaurants I’ve went to in the past. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed spending my dinner here. Will definitely come back in the future.
Rutger B — Google review
The staff were genuinely friendly on arrival and quickly made us feel welcome. Plenty of seating inside and out. The waitress explained how the system worked and made it clear that we should just ask for refills of wedges, mash, salad, etc. The BBQ food was top quality and the Chicken and Bacon a 10! The only problem was while waiting for the cooked BBQ food to come around, the wedges and mash got cold. While I am sure they would have been happy to replace with hot food, it would have been a waste. The BBQ was inexpensive at 12.95, while the drinks were less so at 3.50 for a large Coke.

The restaurant boasts a relaxed ambiance that complements its exquisite meat dishes and mouthwatering desserts. One of the highlights here is their popular sharing menus, ideal for enjoying with friends or family either indoors or on their charming outdoor terrace.
Long time ago that we were at this restaurant. Food excellent; my meat was cooked the way I asked and fantastic. My wife enjoyed her gambas a lot. We went without booking a table and were attented and got a table immediately. The lady that served us was more than nice but without overdoing and made the experience perfect.

I love the Chopitos Fritos and the Cilleton Madurado was cooked perfectly! The server was really chill but towards the end it was a bit annoying as their card machines were not working. So we had to wait for a while and then it started to work again. If I’m around the area I would come back :)

Had a lovely meal at The Sands Bistro. Most if not everything on the menu is Gluten Free, which was very nice and was delicious too. Chinese restaurant
Restaurante Chino Nan King is a hidden gem for those who appreciate authentic Asian cuisine. While the owner’s quirky personality might remind you of a scene from a movie, it adds to the restaurant's charm. Diners rave about the southeast Asia prawns, known for their delightful spiciness, and the duck soup that features tender meat in generous portions.
Tasty food, great choice on menu, everything fresh and based on eating here every couple of months over the last few years no complaints so far. Particular favourites include the ribs, sweet and Sour chicken and the sizzling beef with black bean sauce. Prawn toast and won tun starters are also good, portions are always generous. Service is always prompt - the owner runs the place very efficiently, and always recognises returning customers. (Generally closes start of January for a few weeks)

Always fresh and tasty food. Good value menu del dia. This time I had the Family dish with chicken, beef, prawns and boiled rice. Delicious. Trish had the crispy fish. Too much to eat it all.

The worst Chinese I have ever had. Rude staff, abrupt service and empty burnt Won Tons. The sesame prawn toast was ok, the spring roll was an awful cabbage roll. The main course wasn't too bad (curry fried noodles and chicken fried rice) but only ok. At the end of the meal they refused card payment insisting on cash only. Now my daughter went in the night before and paid by card but now checking their receipt it looks like they were very over charged taking advantage of youngsters so not sure what they are playing at. Dreadful place and will never return.

Restaurant
Gandhi Restaurante is an Indian eatery that offers a wide variety of delectable dishes. Customers who come here are warmly welcomed and can enjoy a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The restrooms are well-maintained, ensuring cleanliness for all patrons. The food served at Gandhi Restaurante is truly splendid, with options like the strongest curry available alongside special rice dishes and garlic naan bread.
One of the best Indian restaurans in town. Strongly recommended.
Umut G — Google review
Didn’t like the attitude of the server, I don’t expect smiles but she never did. The food was also not good. The salted lassi had no salt. The cheese naan was filled with cream cheese instead of real cheese. Curries had no garnishing or greens whatsoever. Pieces of meat had to be searched out of the curry. Ordered coke zero which was forgotten. Rice is not included with the main dishes which is actually super strange for an authentic Indian. Paid 100€ for 5 people which is the only good thing about this place.
Mu M — Google review
I love Indian food and have tried restaurants of different reputation and standards all over the world. Imagine my surprise, when one of the absolute best Indian cuisine is being served in Torrevieja next to a parking lot. WOW! The food was absolutely stunning from the starters and throughout the whole experience 5/5 👏

This place is simply amazing. Have been coming to Spain on and off for 8 years, it’s incredible every time. Would eat here every night if it was up to me. Fantastic vegan options as well, for those who like it. (But seriously you can’t go wrong the whole menu is a win) And the kids love it too.
Inga T — Google review
I ordered for delivery with a note asking them to make it authentic since we are indians. The rotis were all burnt and not edible. I felt bad throwing them cause they are worth money!! Biryani was sweet, which shouldn't be sweet at all. The lamb balti was bland and not authentic at all. I don't understand why to say that it has authentic indian food when nothing is authentic. Just by adding a little bit of chilli powder, it doesn't become indian food.
Binisha B — Google review

Decided to try here when we visited Punta prima last week and so glad we did. Absolutely lovely food, chicken so soft it falls apart, nan bread was lovely and the freshest poppodoms I have ever had. We actually ended up going back on our last day for a treat. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, nothing was a problem and they were so quick serving us and cooking our food. Couldn’t recommend enough, do not sleep on this place, very much worth it and a great meal for a great price. Will be back next year!

The waiter I talked to had great knowledge about gluten, nuts and almonds and English. She also helped me make sure I got a full dish for take away (with rice). It's simply surreal. I don't think I could find somewhere so British in Britain, if I tried. There are roughly 15 restaurants, a few bars, a cannabis shop, takeaways and a supermarket, and not a single morsel of Spanish food in sight. I love Paella & Tapas but simply couldn't find any. Plenty of fish & chips, curries, pizzas & burgers though! What Brits love about Villa Martin, is what I would steer away from. I love Spain, and this is not it. Beers are dirt cheap though, around 3 euros for a pint in some places.

Arrived at 10pm. Service was slow, took us half an hour to order food. Was waiting 2 hours for a caesar salad and 2 striploins. Both steaks come raw and the salad came out 20 minutes before the rest of the food. We also asked how long the food was going to be, they responded with 5 minutes. 20 minutes later brought out random food “on the house” and decided to add it on the bill and told us we couldn’t take it off the bill. Our food eventually came at 12am.

Place-modern interioir design and had decorations for valentines day. Very creative and innovative to reacreate the pan bao with mechada and the 32 pieces sushi. Both were delicious as well. Although, I recommend to improve the brownie and cheesecake. Service wasn't consistent at all. We had to ask different waiters for the same order.

I chose this place to celebrate Easter Sunday with my family but I was disappointed :( We were four people and I ordered the “monkey sushi”. When we got the food, the waiter serves me the “monkey burger”. He mixed up (also the naming of the items are confusing for them) and I had to wait for my food for 30 minutes. By the time I got my sushi roll everyone else had finished eating. Not a very happy Easter Sunday meal. I would have expected some discount or something because of this but we paid full price. Also, this is not really a place for a nice dinner, more a cocktail. Mostly because of the music which is very loud. I’m giving this place an extra star though because the food was not bad. The Cesar salad and the monkey maki were tasty.

I recently went to Fresco La Zenia Restaurant for the first time, despite initially avoiding it due to its busy location on Zenia roundabout. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and lack of street noise, which allowed me to enjoy watching the world go by. The food at Fresco was excellent - freshly cooked and reasonably priced.

Very nice food . I had the pasta chicken carbonara. The sauce was fairly heavy but nice ,not a lot of chicken in it. The steak was also ordered and was lovely and soft. Overall all the food was lovely and came very quickly. The Olympics was on a large tv which was nice to see.

Cold winter Tuesday night... stopped off for some tea.... i was pretty impressed to be honest. Sometimes with pasta it can be wet or over cooked... not here... it was busy because everyone was sat inside... there was only 1 waitress serving and she did a cracking job... she never showed how busy she was but I could see how much she was working. The fresh rustic bread was beautiful, warm and fresh. The beef rib ravioli was lovely according to my better half... and my seafood tagliatelle was very good... all with 2 glasses of red and 2 bottles of zero alcohol was 52 euros!!!! We thought it may have been under charged... but we wasn't... that's how much it was... very good value.

Great food, but hopefully staff would be more professionals in the future. Basic things...like when order spaghetti, next is bring a spoon, parmasan and black pepper.....no, 1st came food and start looking the spoon....parmasan..... and actually also trash plate for shells of mussels....when asking glass of house red, and ask what grape it is...replay " Tempranillo"... when tasted, noticed that it is something else ( Garnacha /Syrah) ....waiter didn't know either the grape of house wine...but as mentioned....basic things sorted out, would be great place to visit, very good and tasty food, and good looking portions.

The Foccachia antipasti was amazing, best entree I've ever had! The burrata salad was delicious and the carbonara was so juicy and the presentation was beautiful ✨️ The Care Chardonnay was delicious as well!

The pizza and pasta is lovely - watch out for the hot prawns! Vindaloo level. The truffle pizza is a winner. It’s all pricey for an Italian themed place so you kind of expect a more attentive service which we didn’t experience on the day. A steak was overdone and had to sent back, the calzone was massive and tasty. The cheesecake a tad dry but the tiramisu a light lovely treat. So the consistency was a bit hit and miss. However they accommodated a table of 4, then 6, then 8 as our booking grew and grew without grievance.

Tried the restaurant as we have seen it on advertisements. We arrived early for lunch. The staff were nice and the food we ordered were also good but was a bit expensive though the servings are big. The ambiance is very cozy and the restaurant is big. You can come in without reservation.

Bar Carlos in Torrevieja is a standout establishment, known for its exceptional staff who are fluent in multiple languages and create a welcoming atmosphere. The bar attracts a diverse crowd and manages to maintain an intimate vibe despite the lively ambiance. Guests have praised the bar for its special celebrations, live music, and excellent service. Additionally, the food is highly recommended for its quality, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
We visited the place after arriving in Torrevieja. We were impressed by the atmosphere and friendly service. Very tasty food, especially ribs. A place that can definitely be recommended.

Service was excellent quick and friendly staff. great for food choices. We had Chill rice and chips, half a chicken and chips and gammon egg chips and pineapple. would definitely come back for food. Two of us tried a cocktail but it wasn't for us. It tasted lumpy the cream had separated or something. This might be how it taste but because we never had one before we left them after after a couple of mouthfuls. The dessert, well the banana fritters were so so good you can't buy these in roi so a nice change. The profiteroles were overcooked very crispy. The baileys cheesecake lost its flavour because of the swirls of fruit. This was the most expensive bill we had since being here, maybe down to the drinks. The entertainment for us was like something back in the 80s. However he brought the crowds in everyone loved it and more people kept coming. So the pub doing a great job.
Michelle C — Google review
Stop off at Bar Carlos for a midday snack after just arriving in Torrevieja for a holiday. The welcome from the staff was exceptional when they realised we had literally just got off the coach as we still had our luggage with us. We ordered the mini burgers with chips (4 mini burgers), chickens wings, a pint of beer and a coke. We really enjoyed the snack and it was nice to be able to eat outside in a non smoking area which is quite well separated from the smoking area.

I had an incredible experience at Bar Carlos in Torrevieja, and I can confidently say it's the best bar in town. The staff is truly exceptional, incredibly attentive, and they have the remarkable ability to communicate in multiple languages, making everyone feel welcome. The crowd here is wonderfully diverse, and despite the bustling atmosphere, the bar somehow manages to create an intimate vibe where everyone seems to know each other. The lively music and the opportunity to dance added so much fun to the evening. What pleasantly surprised me the most was the affordability of everything! The prices are very reasonable, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy. Carlos, the owner, is an absolute delight – friendly, outgoing, and he seems to know everyone who walks through the door. The large outside patio is a fantastic addition, perfect for enjoying the lovely weather. I wholeheartedly recommend Bar Carlos as a must-visit in Torrevieja. It offers an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of this vibrant city.

Food was good, catering for local and many northern Europeans. We were still on Irish time so we went when the family was hungry 5pm. It was quite but service was excellent. Prices have gone up so not a huge difference from Ireland. Alcohol though is about 3 times cheaper.😃
Ronan M — Google review
Possibly the most authentic Spanish bar in Torrevieja. We lucked into it one evening, when on holiday from the UK; there was a band playing and locals were dancing. Friendly staff, quick service, just amazing. We didn't have food so I can't review that.
Colin P — Google review
Too loud music. Too many people, too crowded. Strong smell of food in the bar. People are dancing and the waiters with trays are trying to get through the crowd. It’s awful. Why not to make a dance area outside? Of course when it’s not too hot.
Dereza — Google review
Food is a bit below of what to expect but their drink selection is good. They seemed a bit understaffed, on this occasion at least, so service took some time but they are friendly. They do have live performances (live music and karaoke) that are quite popular and there is room for dancing too. They have plenty of space, even for larger groups.

Tapas bar
Coffe Y Tapa Torrevieja is a charming spot along the coast offering delightful coffee and brandy at affordable prices. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While the tapas may be on the pricier side, they are well worth it when paired with a glass of wine. Situated by the sea, it provides a perfect setting for enjoying both food and drinks after a leisurely beach walk.
Our regular morning stop for a cheeky carrajillo. Brilliant spot to while away a peaceful twenty minutes looking at the Med while enjoying the coffee.
Rick — Google review
The view is nice, but the service and quality of drinks not as nice. The waitress couldn’t understand what Irish coffee is. My pins colada was very diluted and I had more ice in my glass than a drink itself. The inside is very getto especially the washroom. I had a feeling I was at someone’s not very clean house. I don’t recommend this spot.
Iryna S — Google review
Not great. Ordered beers which never arrived, was told we could order food by the time the waiter came over to take our order he told us they were closing. Took the sun shade away and left us roasting. Safe to say we won’t be back!

Nestled in the heart of Campoamor, Pastelería La Pâtisserie de Lucie is a delightful French-style bakery that promises an exceptional culinary experience. This charming spot offers a tempting selection of breads, pastries, and cakes that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth or savory craving. Their almond croissants paired with café con leche make for an unforgettable breakfast treat!
We have always drove by this bakery but always forgot that it closes on Sunday! Finally tried it out last weekend and every bite of their pastry (especially croissant) was amazing. Cosy bakery that bakes variety of sweet and savoury pastries, bread and even have an array of cakes and desserts like macaroons! They have limited dine-in seats but have both the option of indoor and outdoor on the artificial grass area. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good place to have morning breakfast and coffee!
Nicole L — Google review
Patisserie Lucie is an extremely high quality bakery. It is as good as and better than most french patisseries. The baguettes are so fresh and delicious and far superior to the supermarket baguettes. The pastries and desserts are very high quality, we came back many times to try them. Some of the best things we tried are the almond croissant and the tart de manzana. It's also a cheap place to sit in for breakfast such as toast with tomato or a pastry and a coffee
John O — Google review
Real French bakery tucked away in Consums carpark. Totally top rated pastry’s, cakes and breads. Recommend everything from quiche to coffee. Has a drive through and will but orders aside for you. Sell larger breads, brioche and cakes by weight as you select the size. Upstairs open in summer and violable for large groups. Popular place always a queue 😊
Andy M — Google review
Popped in for a coffee. I have to say it is equal to the best coffee I have ever tasted, a really lovely bean. The table hadn’t been cleaned and the floor was rather dirty with an abundance of crumbs. Coffee was expensive by Spanish standards 1.90 for a quite small cup. Walnut bread was around 8 Euros a kilo.
Greg T — Google review
I’ve not tried the food so I can't judge, however the cappuccino I’ve had was very poorly made, with no chocolate or cinnamon was added. The staff that serve me probably had a bad day.

Fantastic coffee spot. Almost all their baked breads are sourdough. Best bakery in the area
Santiago S — Google review
We bought fresh bread here every morning during our vacation. The Barras (baguette) are good and the price is around 1 €. How ever we really miss that there is no Magdalenas. The Magdalenas done in bakery is generally so much better that the once in a regular supermarket.

Had my breakfast here, I had a toastado with ham York and cheese, and I had a nice glass of tea. Enjoyed the atmosphere, as its a busy place. You collect the food at the counter and take it to the table yourself. And then you leave it on the shelf when you leave. You can buy some nice loafs of bread there too, the cakes are a good variation, and everything is priced, so you know what your paying 😉

We had the English breakfast and the club sandwich, both give you so much food that you can hardly finish. They are excellent.
Marcellus S — Google review
There were a few customers in the restaurant besides us. Although there were only few customers, we had to wait for appetizers and children's portions for over an hour after we placed the order. Finally, the main course paella arrived after almost two hours of waiting. Unfortunately, the paella was not what we ordered and the waiter just stated that it was also delicious and did not even offer to exchange it. At this point we had had enough and left hungry. Never again in this restaurant.

I got served raw chicken in my caesar salad, noticed after i already had a few bites. Almost every chicken was completely raw. Got a new salad but their customer service was not good and they didnt want to do anything about the price even though i have to buy medicine and will probably get sick during my last days on vacation and from work. My friends took club sandwich and pizza and overall it was not good.

Very disappointed. I ordered the "vegan sandwich" which was on the menu. But when it arrived it had a shrimp on the side. As Halloween approaches, many families are on the lookout for exciting events in the Costa Blanca region. If you're in search of a lively spot to enjoy some festive fun, look no further than The Abbey Tavern. Nestled in Orihuela Costa, this beloved bar stands out among the numerous British and Irish establishments that populate the area. The Abbey Tavern is a delightful gem that strikes just the right balance—offering delicious food without any pretentious frills.
Can I give 10 STARS for atmosphere? This place is fabulous! What a find in Torrevieja. Worth your effort to find this place, and at least have a drink. Live music. Great, and attentive staff. Many great options for food. But this place is like a dream. Seriously. Do yourself a fun favor, and stop by if you're close. We had the best time.

Sweet urinals, with motional detecting IR flush which releases the water automatically on a 20 second delay. Nice! Btw nice food, friendly staff.
Troy C — Google review
The Abbey Tavern was a pleasant surprise – the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard, but gets all the important things right. The food was genuinely tasty, well-prepared and served in portions that leave you satisfied without needing a nap (unless you’re over 40, in which case the nap is non-negotiable). No pretentious foams or unnecessary garnishes – just solid, honest cooking that respects the ingredients and your appetite. Service was warm and efficient – friendly without being overbearing, and with just the right dash of banter. You get the sense that the staff actually enjoy working there, which is increasingly rare and always appreciated. Plenty of seating both in the sun and the shade, which is a lifesaver when travelling with kids and partners with varying opinions about UV exposure. Speaking of kids – ours had a great time and stayed surprisingly well-behaved, possibly due to the comfortable surroundings or the bribe of dessert. Either way, we’ll take the win. Prices were fair – you get good value without feeling like you’re subsidising a new yacht for the owner. The venue itself is clean, welcoming, and full of character, without tipping into theme-park territory. All in all, The Abbey Tavern offers great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and the kind of service that makes you want to stay for just one more drink – or two, if the kids are occupied. Would absolutely return.

We went on a reasonably quiet Sunday evening. The service was quick and friendly. The food was also surprisingly nice and not badly priced. The best part was possibly the park out back though. Kids had plenty of time to play while we finished our drinks.

Nestled in the heart of Orihuela Costa, Restaurante Los Cucalos is a culinary gem that specializes in authentic Spanish rice dishes, including an array of delectable paellas. This spacious eatery not only boasts a dedicated playground for children but also ample parking, making it a family-friendly destination. While the exterior may not catch your eye at first glance, stepping inside reveals a warm and inviting atmosphere where delicious flavors await.
At first glance, the place might not seem very appealing, but don’t let that fool you! The food here is absolutely delicious. We had the paella de marisco for €16 per person, and it was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The dishes being served to other tables, such as fish, steak, and tapas, also looked fantastic. In short, it’s definitely worth a visit. Give it a try!

What a disaster tonight was! We were really excited to go for a traditional Spanish meal and this restaurant was recommended by our Villa owner. We had a mixed seafood paella and a chicken + vegetable paella. Shortly after bringing them, they brought my son a glass of beer which they completely spilt into the seafood paella and all over his plate of chicken paella which was then washed all over him soaking and staining his shirt and trousers. The staff rushed to clear the table but not to help my son or even bring him a towel so we had to gather serviettes from other tables - the one waiter just carried on opening the bottle of wine he had brought over. They moved us to the next table but despite both meals being ruined they said they could only replace one. As two of the four of us do not each seafood that meant it had to be the chicken but by the time it arrived (20 minutes or so later) my lad was so miserable he had lost his appetite and the two of us that ordered the seafood paella didn't really want the chicken so the night had been ruined and no one wanted to stay, eat the food or drink anything. Despite complaining they made no apology for my lads’ shirt and trousers being ruined and as we went to leave in disgust, they demanded that we pay for the bread, wine, beer and two Paellas which was in the end more than we even had. A ruined evening and ruined clothes and just no apologies or compensation so ended up as an extremely expensive miserable night.
Modellermark2 — Google review
We've been coming here for years — it's one of the best paellas we've ever had. When you arrive, you can choose to sit at the front of the restaurant (kiosk area), where there's music playing and a lively atmosphere. Prefer something quieter? There's also seating inside or on the back terrace, which is great if you're with kids — they can enjoy the playground — or if you'd rather avoid the louder music. The food is traditional Spanish cuisine, with some good options for children as well. Prices are very reasonable, and you're always welcome to take leftovers home. The staff is very friendly. Not everyone speaks English fluently, so it helps to know a few basic phrases. That said, some staff members do speak English and are happy to assist. The menu is available in both Spanish and English.

Great experience at Los Cucalos last night with our family. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and seated promptly. Our orders were taken and everything was served quickly. Food was served hot and tasted fresh. We had Calamari which was a large portion followed by a very tasty paella. Kids nuggets and chips were good and a good size. Best part was the kids play area where we were seated we could see them playing and it was secure although it could do with updating and the ground was covered with what would have been rubber is now very rough for little feet but the kids didn't seem to mind.
Nic N — Google review
A fantastic meal in a traditional Spanish restaurant. The staff are very friendly and incredibly attentive. There is a children's play area as well which kept our little ones entertained throughout the night. Menu highlights would have to be the garlic prawns and fried baby squids. A nice touch of a complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. P.S. Their homemade lemon ice cream is exquisite 👌🏻

Would have got 5 stars across the board but the food was the only slight let down. It's a must to come and enjoy the live music each night in the summer season. Drinks are ace and the best is the Cucalos gin which is the gin that keeps on giving ! We have owned a property nearby for years and would really recommend it

While some visitors have experienced occasional service issues, the overall consensus revolves around the exceptional food quality, breathtaking vistas, and inviting ambiance. It's advisable to make reservations in advance due to its popularity among locals and tourists alike.
One of the best seafood dishes I've had. I'd highly recommend all of them, especially the squid and Gamba Roja (shrimp). The oysters were massive and absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area and are a fan of fresh seafood.

I wasn't really impressed with it here.... the service was slow considering the place was empty as we arrived first... the starter is ordered i was told they didn't have, so I ordered a vegetable tartar, and got a seafood mayo mix withing 50 seconds of them asking me what i would like instead of my original choice. The steak and the fish were lovely for the mains... I ordered a Mojito no alcohol as the waiter had told me they did them.... AND it never arrived.... it was a shame really... because I would have liked to come back, but I was just disappointed with poor service and lack of attention to our order.

Our dinner at Restaurante Los Angeles was an absolute delight. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented and clearly prepared with care and craftsmanship. Sometimes we had lucky with service sometimes we didn’t. But the food, view and vibe are worth the risk of encountering a grumpy server. The zamburiñas, gambá rojas, pulpo and rices are excellent! They also have a great selection of wines. We definitely recommend to everyone visiting the region. And for sure we will be back. Gracias Los Angeles

I was taken here for my 46th birthday by my parents and our friend. Such a lovely location once you arrive, the journey there you wouldn't even imagine this place could exist! We were there for a good few hours..... Had many courses and drinks, not once rushed or felt like attention needed to be called! The service was utterly faultless, as was the food. We booked a table for 6 and were seated in a lovely little room to the rear for just the 6 of us. It was like a private dining experience! The air was cool and fresh. 3 of our party had the taster menu at €59. This included langoustines with mushrooms and garlic, duck pate, choice of main ( 2 had fillet steak and 1 beef). They said the fillet was amazing. They then had a choice of desert, they all had the tiramisu and raved about it. The rest of us had similar dishes with one having the Argentinian rib eye. Every dish was stunning, beautifully prepared and served. You can tell when the food matters to the chef and clearly this chef loves his job and food. The white sangria went down a storm, and the mojito served in a small copper tanker was the best we’d had. The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly and their English was perfect. The whole meal was the best we’ve had in Spain and my parents have lived here for over 25years. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Well worth a short drive or a longer one for a special evening. They also have a beautiful outside terrace and the whole ambiance was relaxed and peaceful. I can’t recommend this place enough. Try it for a special occasion or a date night. The prices are excellent value for money. We can’t wait to go back and try the burgers as given the quality of the rest of the food, they must be awesome! Thank you Las Cuevas for a wonderful night.

We visited the restaurant for the 4th time last night with friends from the UK. We were shown to our table and served drinks. The waiter took our food order and went off to get some bread for the table. He returned with 4 pieces of bread ( there were 5 of us) and plates. As he was handing out the plates, two other waitresses arrived with our main meals, noticed that we were being served bread and walked away. A couple of minutes later they returned with our food and removed the side plates before we had time to touch the bread. Two of the main meals were cold and had to be sent back. The others were barely warm but not hot which for a premium end restaurant is not acceptable. We were very disappointed with our experience and the quality of food and service. In the past, we have had a fabulous experience. I wonder whether the restaurant has expanded too rapidly and as a result seen a decline in standards. Perhaps management wish to explain. Whilst the manager did try to appease us, i didnt think it was sufficient and will be hesitant about whether I return. Date of visit: September 2025

A real disappointment. The caves are quite small and painted, so I didn’t feel the special atmosphere. The food was just okay-ish, nothing amazing. I was constantly thinking about other options where I could dine tastier and cheaper (and there are plenty of such places in the area). The waiter suggested the tasting menu, which isn’t a surprise considering its high price. Will not return and can’t recommend unfortunately

Restaurante La Bahía de Cabo Roig is a popular dining spot offering a menu del día for lunch, providing great value with a complete meal. Situated in the beautiful marina of Cabo Roig, it offers a relaxing ambiance with options to dine indoors or on the terrace by the sea. The restaurant serves delicious Spanish seafood and generously portioned dishes. While it can get busy, the friendly and attentive staff make the experience worthwhile.
Food always good here, service is very good and the location is perfect next to the sea which gives it a nice fresh breeze. We have been visiting here for the last 9 years and it’s always been a good experience

Great location for either a drink or a meal right on the sea front. Busy at lunchtime so it's advisable to book a table. Typical Spanish sea food. Good service and large portions, especially the starters. We had a Russian salad and mozzarella and tomato salad, followed by grilled sardines and battered fish bits. My wifes favourite eating out spot in the area. Would have given 5* if the sangria hadn't been so weak.

Restaurante La Bahía de Cabo Roig has a great location right next to the sea, with a refreshing breeze that makes it comfortable even on the hottest days. It’s a nice place for either a drink or a meal on the seafront. At lunchtime it gets busy, so booking a table is a good idea. Paid sunbeds are available – a great extra after enjoying a glass of sangria or beer. The menu offers typical Spanish seafood and other fresh dishes. Service was good, and portions were generous. We had mozzarella and tomato salad, followed by paella, pasta, and chicken.

Went in there at 2pm or just before 2pm for a bite to eat, more like a brunch which they offer but they insisted on our having a full blown 3 course meal, we told them before hand we just wanted something small to eat bare in mind we spent £40 on drinks and food, but they didnt like the fact that we didnt want to eat a full course! Also we ordered the nachos with a few other things which didn't come out and then they accused us of lying saying we didnt order it. They made us feel so uncomfortable, pointing at us, giving us dirty looks ect! I wouldn't never ever ever recommend anyone to go to this place!

Terrible experience. I had dreamed to eat there and decided to go ex tempore with my culinary friend on last Sunday. We checked the Menu and were ready to order. Unfortunately we didn't get any service and after a half hour I went to ask to the waiter if we could have something. He said that there is a 40min to get food and we got after 40min glasses of rosado that was bitter and not local. So no food and we could not even drink the wine. The place was not even full but they were playing busy and no time.to serve us ! What a pity 😃 !

Went for evening drink to enjoy the view of the sea, which was wonderful. As we didn't eat here I cannot review the food. A nice relaxed venue with a french art nouveau decor on the facade. All cocktails and long drinks were reasonably priced an the service was good and friendly. They sometimes have flamenco dance shows here. Futher to my previous review, have been there again, but to eat this time. Very impressed: they have food for all budgets, and serve it with the same brilliant service. All food was reasonably priced, arrived very well presented and tasted as good as it looked. I will definitely come again.

Whether you're in the mood for fresh fish, succulent meats, flavorful paellas, or even pizzas, there's something for everyone—including a dedicated children's menu. We came early Friday evening and there were a few guests enjoying the food. The service was excellent and the food was authentically Spanish.. Tapas and Paella were lovely.. would recommend and we be back to try more of their extensive menu...
Waynegro68 — Google review
We're usually cautious with our reviews because we are aware that taste and experience are quite personal and can be perceived completely differently by others. Tonight, however, we had the worst restaurant experience ever. We arrived about 45mins before closing time but there were still a few guests eating or waiting for their food as the kitchen was still open. We asked for a mixed grill of fish but were told this was only possible with advance reservations. So instead, we ordered individual fish dishes, which apparently, yet oddly, was still possible. Eight large shrimps from the grill and a portion of baby squids from the grill too. Next to that some patatas bravas and a salad with warm chicken and bacon bits. For some reason, all plates were ‘decorated’ with paprika (bell pepper) powder, partially covering the dish itself too. The prawns were half raw, which we pointed out and they were taken back to be grilled some more, which indeed helped, yet caused them to be more dry. The squid was not grilled enough, yet was still burned and covered in an indefinable sauce. As for the salad, it had cold bacon bits and dry chicken pieces on it that still contained splinters of chicken bone. The whole salad was overly covered with balsamic cream, including the bacon & chicken. So generously in fact, that everything had only that one flavor. The patatas bravas were fried potato cubes with "sweet hot ketchup" from a squeeze bottle, nothing in the least close to the spicy sauce (whether with or without tomato) so well known. When we mentioned that, all we got at first was a “sorry” from the wandering off waitress. Later she even admitted the sauce came out of a bottle and was not freshly made. In our opinion, these dishes were prepared by the laziest, most unmotivated and most disinterested 'chef' in Spain. Next to that, practically nothing was done with the points addressed – no sending back to the kitchen, not offering something else instead, not even a ‘courtesy cup of coffee’. The tastiest part of this visit were the glasses of tinto Verano. These 50-plus Euros are the worst money ever spent. Save yourself the trouble and money by eating here. We will do our best to spare everyone this disappointment.
Marcel M — Google review
A little light lunch for 2. We had a selection of tapas €3 each and a plate of grilled garlicky baby squid followed by homemade creme caramel; a couple of small beers and a coffee - the perfect Spanish lunch sat on a shaded terrace. Excellent friendly and professional service. Will definitely be back, and that has got to be the best recommendation!
Dave H — Google review
The food is always delicious here and really reasonably priced too. We come here whenever we visit, this time twice as we enjoyed it so much! Lots of different traditional dishes to choose from in a friendly environment. Try it out!!
Steven M — Google review
I had their sweet and spicy chicken tapas, and I hope the chicken's family gets some compensation, because it was killed just to be made as the most dry, flavourless meal a human's ever had. I wish the best to the chicken's family members and friends, but sadly, more than half of it's remains will be thrown out. Some of it's parts were even spit out (no disrespect intended). Chicken aside, the "meatballs in tomato sauce" tasted like potatoes. I recommend not eating here for the sake of chickens and their families as they most likely wish to be made better meals of.

Darby’s Playa Flamenca is a delightful dining destination that beautifully marries traditional Spanish flavors with modern culinary techniques. The restaurant boasts a welcoming ambiance and attentive service, making it an ideal spot for food lovers. Guests rave about the fresh seafood, succulent grilled meats, and vibrant tapas that grace the menu. While some dishes like pasta carbonara may not shine as brightly, other offerings such as tender chicken wings and perfectly cooked fries receive high praise for their taste and texture.
I give 5 stars even if I didn’t like my pasta. Tons, chicken wings were amazing!!! Tender, how supposed to be with a balanced amount of sauce. Absolutely delicious. Pasta carbonara is probably not their strongest dish so I would not recommend. Fries were perfectly cooked: soft inside crispy outside. Staff is very friendly. Good latte, and a nice highlight with a guy singing beautifully live. Good oh rices, 87 euro for 3 people with started, mains, desserts, coffee and a few soft drinks. Plenty of seats outside and inside. Comfy sofas. Sockets.

Just had the best roast I’ve had in Spain which I haven’t made myself (I’m a good cook) and totally recommend it. Quite rare to find homemade yorkshires others usually cheat and buy them in. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection including the gravy. Had mixed meat roast, the meat was amazing, the veg all fresh, potatoes was crispy and mash deliciously buttery. Starts was prawn cocktail with salmon and was also great. Staff professional and attentive. The location is also perfect as it’s walking distance from the beaches. Glad to have found this place and will definitely be returning regularly .

Horrible embarrising discriminating experince. Booked for 2 people for 1.15pm today, when I asked could I have one more place for an additional guest I was made feel embarrassed and humiliated in front of my guests. The restaurant at the time was all but empty as was the very large terrace outside. The terrace was still nearly empty at 2.30pm ( see photos) and still nowhere near full by the time we left the very Friendly venue Svenes Grill next door at 2.45pm. I can only say that theperson who firstly was horrible to my guest who ordered a Coke on the empty terrace while waiting on me to arrive and was then obnoxious to me should really learn to treat older people with some respect and remember that some day you may be glad of one guest (even if they are old) in your establishment never mind one extra.

This is an excellent place for delicious quality meals served to a high standard. The staff are always friendly, courteous, polite & always have a happy smile, Charlie is a great host who always wants to make sure everything is good about your whole experience. There’s a few TV’s dotted about so you can watch the sport, news etc, it’s got a nice seating area outside & plenty of tables & seating inside. I had the soup to start followed by steak pie, both delicious, unfortunately I didn’t have room for desserts but they did look very nice! It’s a nice friendly bar/restaurant with a bit of a modern twist. I’ve eaten there a few times, great breakfasts, coffees & other daily specials. Don’t forget the quiz on Tuesday afternoon, make sure you book a table as it pretty busy.

Don’t listen to these other reviews. Yes it is a Spanish restaurant serving Spanish food but unfortunately they can not cook Spanish food. My friend and I both ordered from their menu of the day. I got the steamed muscles and grilled fish. The muscles were beyond over cooked and had no flavor and my fish also had no flavor and was like mush in my mouth. My friend is from a town just 20mins from here and had a popular Spanish soup and some ham looking thing. Both to him were a disgrace to the country of Spain. Best part of the meal was the French fries and the salad.

A beautiful Gem. Myself and my family went to Miso for a family meal out. Amongst the well kept and tidy entrance. A lot more was there to be said for the interior. As you walk in. You are greeted by a modern. Chrome interior with reflective ceilings and amazing lights. Trully a splendor. Upon arrival to our table, we were greeted by the Waiter who took our drinks orders and provided us with the menu. The choices were plenty including their own sushi menu too. We ordered sharer starters and for mains. We had the house special rice as well as a variety of meat dishes incliding sizzling beef in black bean sause, and the beef in mushroom and bamboo leaves. We were then greeted by the house robot named 'Maria' welcoming jingle, it was a delight to see and the kids absolutely loved it. The Waiter took a family photo of us and seemed like nothing was too much hassle for the team at Miso. The prawns were spectacular and upon arrival of our mains. We had enough food to feed us all. The food was stunningly well presented and tasted just as well as it looks. Needless to say, it was by far the best chinese cuisine experience we had whilst out in sunny Spain. The owner even came out to greet us and joined in our family photo, we trully all felt part of the family at Miso and will be returning again!

Great restaurant - very nice decor and the food was fast and very good - the set menu is a good price but we just ordered a selection of mains and sides and shared them between our table all was excellent. Too much to eat so they give you a doggy bag to take home anything you don’t eat.

A really great new restaurant, the food is as good as the setting. We did the Menu of the Day which is great value for money. A couple of little change requests on the menu - no problem at all 😋 Only suggestion is for the staff to be a little quicker, but I’m sure, as this is only very new, will get better No problem getting a table at lunch, but evenings would suggest booking

This is a restaurant that has to be tried if you haven't and if you have then you will go back. Beautiful airy restaurant with fabulous friendly staff who are so patient and nothing is too much trouble. We were a group of 9 and not easy to handle! I had the duck pancakes which were superb and needed extra pancakes which was not an issue. I followed this with steak and black pepper with onion which was a carefully cooked piece of steak sliced up and cooked in the most delicious black peppery sauce with onions and tomatoes and peppers. The sauce was unbelievable. All the meals we had here were very good. A few of us had desserts which were OK. Very comprehensive and reasonable wine list. They also have a robot waiter if you are into that kind of thing. The staff was so attentive but not annoying.

Giusto - Vegan Restaurant & Coffee in Torrevieja is a delightful haven for plant-based food lovers. This charming eatery has garnered enthusiastic praise from visitors who are thrilled to discover a 100% vegan menu that truly impresses with its quality, taste, and artistic presentation. Guests rave about the friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable dining experience. While some set menu options may occasionally be unavailable, the dishes served are beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor.
Good place for lunch and dinner with interesting choice of vegan food. Staff is friendly. Be ready for waiting. Music is nice and not loud. Price is higher than in similar restaurant in Alicante.

Great tasty 100% vegan food, well presented and at a fair price. Pizza was amazing as were the two desserts we got for the kids. Waiter was really nice and helpful also. Only been open since June so hope it goes from strength to strength.

🇬🇧 - Excellent vegan dishes served in a quaint yet chique restaurant. The waiter was extremely helpful and ensured we had a good meal and although looking slightly rushed spent time to give us a memorable experience. The food is tasty, well priced and nicely presented. I'd recommend using Google lens to translate the menu but the wait-staff can also give you a hand.

Finally a place with wonderful vegan food and a selection of speciality coffee. They have great tasting alternatives to cheese and the café con leche de Coco is sublime

I was so excited to find that there is finally a 100% Vegan restaurant in Torrevieja. I'm happy to say this restaurant did not disappoint. The food is amazing. The chef has created wonder food combinations and the presentation of the food is like a piece of art. Service was great. I cannot wait to go back and try some more of their delicious food.

Went today for lunch. Was a little disappointed that two of the set menu options (there were only four) were not actually available despite being advertised both on the menu and outside on a board. The food we chose was very nicely presented and delicious. We asked about desert and were offered either ice cream or coffee, neither of which we wanted. Service was very good. As my future daughter in law is pregnant, I also thought a baby changing unit in the ladies toilet, which was large enough to accommodate one, would be very useful. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back soon.

First time visiting a vegan restaurant and expected to come home hungry. Nearly did. Portions were smallish, but tasty enough. Had to order a pizza when the three of us had finished our main courses as we were all still hungry. The four "cheese" pizza was delicious though, with a lovely, perfectly cooked base. Two really disappointing features though. Our food was almost cold when served, having being put out on stone cold plates. They re-heated the food in a microwave! Also, their coffee machine wasn't working they said, so no coffee either. Very clean, simple, modern designed restaurant. With hotter food and larger portions this place could be well worth a visit, but their price point, ( circa €12 per main course) is not competitive with surrounding restaurants. No Menu del Dia either, so a smallish meal for three, without wine cost €55.50.

Nestled in the picturesque Playa Flamenca, The Cellar Door is a beloved dining destination that offers an inviting and intimate atmosphere. This charming restaurant has captured the hearts of both locals and visitors alike with its laid-back vibe and exquisite Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Renowned for its culinary excellence, The Cellar Door features a remarkable tasting menu that changes frequently, showcasing beautifully crafted plates that are as visually stunning as they are delicious.
Great food, great service and great value for money. I'm almost reluctant to tell how pleased I am since I want to get a table here again. Highly recommended! Edit: I revisited the restaurant, and the quality is just as great as last year. This will be a tradition if possible. I can't imagine getting more value for money than this. Fantastic 8 courses menu, fantastic taste, and fantastic service. I've been to Michelin restaurants, also with three stars, but I don't think I was so happy after a dinner in any of those as after this one. I'm only nervous that good reviews will make my chances of getting a table here next time I'm in Spain worse.

Beautiful tasting menu experience at this cosy little restaurant tucked away inside the Playa Flamenca centre. We've been coming here for a few years now, and it constantly surprises you with its intriguing menu. The food is out of this world, full marks to the chefs who create a new tasting menu as often as every week or 2. Beautifully prepared, expertly cooked, each dish looks a pretty as a picture. Very friendly staff, attentive and helpful. Fine dining but at a great price! If your in the area give it a try, once you do you'll be back time after time.

Absolutely beautiful! Food was out of this world and service was friendly and attentive. This place deserves 6 stars, I can't begin to explain how utterly superb our meal was!! We'll definitely be coming back

Cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. We live in Manchester and this was by far and away better than any food we've had. Beef tataki starter was incredible and served with ice cream, just fantastic. Main course of duck was cooked to perfection with little bombs of orange sauce flavour. The cheese board was more than one man can handle with a great port accompanying it. The wine for the meal was smooth, intense in flavour and well matched. Lorraine was so so welcoming it really sets the restaurant apart. We can't wait to come back.

Love good food and drink and this place ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff laid back atmosphere and food to die for. A taste sensation. A hidden gem for good food gurus. Sit and relax over 5 or 8 course taster menu. This is how food should be. Many thanks Lorraine for a great experience

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Friendly and attentive staff and simply amazing food. The chefs have somehow managed to tame the crazy flavours of traditional Thai cuisine and use them to create a beautiful Thai-inspired, modern, fine dining experience in their Discovery Menu. Not only was each individual dish's flavour and tastes perfectly balanced, but each course was balanced against the last and flowed seamlessly into the next providing a truly amazing experience.

Rustica is a popular beach restaurant located in Playa Flamenca, Spain. It offers a diverse menu with international and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant has received positive reviews for its magnificent dinner options and exceptional service. Visitors have praised the attention to detail and described their dining experience as one of the best they've ever had. Additionally, Rustica is known for its top-notch Chinese food, making it a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts.
This is our treat night of our holiday whereby we go all out with starters, mains and dessert and of course the cocktails. This does not include the complementary cold soup with bread crisp which is so tasty. The salt and pepper chicken and bruschetta starts are our go to and sooo good. Steaks or salmon our mains all of which cooked perfectly. Would perhaps like to see another chicken option as a main. Great portions. We booked in April for holiday in August and even then some of the dates and times all booked out so get it booked early.

Still one of the best restaurants in this area. Catrin and her team couldn’t be more helpful and attentive! The food is delicious and the cocktail menu is fantastic! It was noisy last night as we were sat outside but that’s summer for you

No doubt the best restaurant in Playa Flamenca and a meal that I'll remember for a long time. Great service, fantastic menu options and when the food comes it doesn't disappoint. The best prawns pil pil I've ever tasted, the lamb was tasty, but without doubt the show stopper is the stuffed pork chop with perfect crackling. A perfect meal, make sure you book well in advance.
Trevor — Google review
Came here for dinner and were told when we were seated that there was quite a wait on the food at the moment which was fine with us, ordered our drinks which came quickly and very good value for drinks (€4 for a glass of wine)! Our starters took about 20 minutes to come but was worth it because they were massive portions. Our mains then took around an hour to come which we weren’t expecting but the food in fairness was delicious and portions were huge. They did apologise for the wait and were very attentive to us. Our server was so friendly and greeted us with a nice welcome, she definitely made the experience so much better. 10/10 for everything except the wait which was unusually long for the amount of people there.

Let me start why it not all five stars: too long waiting time for the food, over 1 hour. But the food was very good (large portions, you will not leave hungry), the service are great (you feel they care) and the price match the quality. I had the lamb, cocked to perfection, with marvellous sauce and vegetables. We'll be back!

The portions are perfectly balanced for those who prefer not to be overwhelmed by heaped plates. This was our first visit, and certainly won't be the last. Having read numerous good reports we can certainly concur. We both chose salt and pepper prawns to start, I followed with confit duck and my wife had pork. The portions were just right, both of us have an aversion to heaped plates of food, which may well suit some people. The food was well presented, well cooked and extremely tasty. We must congratulate the staff on efficiency and attention. A thoroughly enjoyable evening which we will certainly be repeating. The restaurant was justifiably full so booking is essential. Highly recommended.

WoW completely WoW We were very lucky to get a table and we were squeezed in with a 7pm start which was perfect. We preferred not to have starters and thought sweet would be an option. I had Seafood Basque which were accompanied by fresh vegetables. Quite simply the best meal I have had in years. As you will see, beautifully presented and believe me it tasted superb. Fillet Steak 🥩.......... I've had a fair few over the years and this was ultra tender and the sauce was superb. Coq au vin ......... Simple in the method of cooking but Chef, I tip my hat. The cheesecake was delightful and the cheese platter was fantastic. Sorry no pics...... You need to book but it's 100% worth it. Fantastic service and the Sauvignon Blanc was perfect. Outstanding, no more needs to be said.

What an amazing dinning experience. From the moment we arrived we had the most amazing service and food. We sat outside, great ambience and setting. The matre'd was very informative, giving wine and food suggestions. We had 3 courses and a couple of bottles if wine, everything was fantastic. Can wait to go back next year. Would recommend you book.

Friendly welcome as we arrived, which set the scene for the rest of the evening. We initially sat outside, but before the wine and complementary olives and bread/alioli arrived(which was all very tasty and nicely presented) we asked to move inside as it began to get a little colder.....absolutely no problem. The starter of pate and then the main courses of duck and lamb were again all very tasty and nicely presented. I'm not sure if it was the owner, but they repeatedly asked if everything was OK with food and service......very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Albeit it was more expensive than some restaurants we go to, but it was well worth it for the food, service, and attention to detail. All in all, a great dining experience. So much so we are going to return in January for my wife's birthday We highly recommend the restaurant but remember to book as we had tried unsuccessfully to book on a few previous occasions.

Fresh, flavoursome and not too expensive either. The staff make the experience so lovely. So friendly and have so many regulars you know it’s consistently good! Friendly and kind staff, beautiful food, and reasonably priced as well. Thank you for looking after us so well xx A visit a year on. Main dishes were beautiful, but the garlic bread is clearly bought in and not good quality, and definitely needs to be changed to reflect the quality of the rest of the menu. Its a budget starter at a high end price, see UK Iceland garlic pizza and you will know what I mean. Yet, still a great place and we will be back and thank you fe being positive aboutnhaving feedback xx

Nice restaurant. We went twice on our holiday. The food was really nice. Service was good. Paid around €80 for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). Meal and drinks. The cocktail I had was lovely! The staff are friendly. The centre it's in is a bit run down in places. Avoid the underground car park if you can. It's like a horror movie set. It's dark and HOT and there aren't any stairs. We visited here last week. There was 15 of us and that wasn't a problem to this amazing team of staff!! We were served promptly and with a smile. Easily the best meal of my holiday. The burgers were absolutely delicious and my steak was cooked to perfection. Recommend to all

We were 4 people for dinner and had an unpleasant experience here. It seemed like a nice place with a nice view. The wait staff was friendly and somewhat attentive. We ordered calamares as a starter and the main course was two ribeye steaks, pork ribs and a burger. The calamares are the premade frozen kind you get at the store, so disappointing. The burger and ribs meal was ok, nothing special but just fine. The ribeyes should have been medium and medium rare but came really well done, asked for new ones and then got rare/hardly-kissed-the-pan steaks, but didn't want to complain again so ate them. The most mind blowing part of the whole dinner was the water bottle we got served. According to the waiter it had just been opened before it was served at the table, but it had so much mineral deposits floating around and gross mold on the inside of the neck and top of the bottle we had to ask if it really had been just opened with all this gunk in the bottle and he responded that yes it was brand new, so we pointed out the date on the bottle which was 2019, 5 years old! Which he tried to explain away and ended with "let me talk to my boss". Seems like they reuse bottles with tap water and sell it as expensive bottled water, at least we didn't have to pay for it but it was gross as we had some of it before discovering the gunk. Will not be back!

We went for the early menu but one of us opted for the steak menu which is 29.95 for 3 courses whereas the former is 15.95 for 2 courses. We ordered vegetable cream soup, pate, beef goulash, fillet steak and apple strudel with ice cream, 2 glasses of wine, an alcohol free beer and still water. The total bill was around 6o euros. The food quality was excellent, everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection. The service was relaxed and friendly. I cant fault it and the owner took the time to speak to us when leaving to ask about our experience which was lovely. We will definitely return in future and have recommended it to friends

We have visited most of the resultants in the area as we come here often. This was our first time at the longhorn and it was incredible. The steak was so tender and soft and cooked perfectly. It is the best stake I have had and it ever beats miller and carter back in the UK. Very nice atmosphere and you didn’t feel rushed and it was just a very pleasant experience! We will definitely return. The price was a little more expensive than surrounding restaurants but it was completely worth it.

Eaten there before and always takes long but food previously has be ok. Waited 45 mins for 2 steaks. Both undercooked and the waiter tried to tell me they wasn’t. Had a mixed grill that looked like the meat people had left. Tiny piece of steak on it that was just all fat. Tasteless sauce. Bad food, bad service and overpriced for the area. Been here 4 or 5 times and that will be the last !
Jim P — Google review
We decided to go here after reading all the reviews. We had the steak house menu which included a starter, main and dessert. I had mussels for a starter which was well cooked, my wife had pancakes with some chicken stuffing which was a small disappointment since she found bones in the stuffing. For a main we both had mixed grill served with fries and pepper sauce, the pork was outstanding and the chicken was cooked well, but, a little bit to dry. Fries were superb and the pepper sauce was good. Dessert, ice cream, which had a good taste but should have been brought to the table a bit faster since it was half melted when it arrived. The other dessert was a homemade dessert with white chocolate cheesecake and ice-cream. Overall we had a very good meal except for the small details above that could be improved. Service was very good, kind and friendly staff. We recommend this place if you are a real meat eater.

Visited this wonderful Italian restaurant yesterday and what a delight it was. They do far more than the usual pastas, pizzas. The menu is full of clever tasty dishes. The prices are good value for this class of dining. A set menu for €23 is available.

Four of us went for the three course menu (€16) and all of the dishes were really great. Especially the tuna appetizer and the 12 hour cooked pork leg were fantastic, but the chicken breast was also great. The pizzas were crispy, just the way Italian pizzas should be. We ordered the house wine which was OK, but great for the price (€11). A compliment from the chef and nice service also made us feel welcome. If it wasn't for the terrible karaoke from another restaurant nearby, this would have been perfect.

Great food for a decent price. The menu for 23 euro is a bargain. Portions were rather small but sophisticated and very well flavoured and nicely presented. The staff was very friendly. The negative part was that everything had to be rushed. Ordered an aperitiv, and immediately they came with our starter aswell. Then we asked to delay the main course, but they were already prepping it, so the main course also came very fast. So, piece of advice, ask to delay the courses on time of you want some relaxed dining.

Terrible, with one exception. We reserved our table for the afternoon during non busy time one week ago for our special occasion and selected the table and it was all confirmed. When we arrived on time it was occupied by people who had no reservation and had arrived 15 minutes before our reservation. The Food is Basic, they attempt to impress you with expensive great looking meats in a window display but when the meals arrived they were simple. I only recommend this restaurant for hamburgers and fries. It seems they spend most money on decoration... which is nice but they dont serve great food. Service was not bad so not disappointed in that...But meal and expensive pricing was disappointing. So I would say this is a high end expensive hamburger joint with ocean view.. I know quality food and will not return. Sorry to have to write this review but I want others to beware before expecting a High end quality restaurant based on their prices.
Cabo J — Google review
The restaurant should have everything going for it: fantastic view of the ocean, tasteful decorations, nice furnishing and tables. But even if the food was good, nothing could compensate for the terrible service. The servers are simply not interested in the customers so service is long, dishes are not timed to arrive at the table at the same time, no-one passes to ask about the food, or if the client would like more of something. The food is average which is also surprising given the quality of the equipment in the kitchen. My salmon was over cooked, the vegetables too, and way too much salt. Really too bad, it’s the sort of place that should be good, but isn’t.

Guests rave about the flavorful dishes and reasonable prices, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
Amazing experience at Zenia Gardens - had lovely food that included great portion sizes and the atmosphere was just fantastic. Great showman performing Elvis, Neil Diamond (and invited a lovely ASD young woman to join him from the crowd!) and the manager even sang a song in Chinese which was just beautiful!! It's such a lovely atmosphere and our first time there. The staff particularly were lovely from the second we walked in, you just got a lovely sense of the place. Will definitely be back when we return to La Zenia because of its pricing and just lovely vibes all around. 5 stars from me!

I’ve never written a review before, but this “meal” left me no choice. We ordered takeaway at 22:30 on a Friday night — well before closing. People were still walking in to eat, blissfully unaware of what was about to happen to us. The stir-fried beef? Completely flavorless, rubbery, and so uninspired it made hospital food seem gourmet. Honestly, if they told me it was boiled shoe leather, I’d believe it. The stir-fried pork was a mystery dish from another planet: dark, dry, and oddly chewy, with random clumps of something pretending to be meat, coated in batter, and served with a sweet & sour sauce that looked like it came straight from a science experiment. Whatever it was, it didn’t look like it belonged in the human digestive system. Even the stir-fried egg rice — which is usually the safest, most basic thing on the menu — was so dry and bland I’m convinced it was cooked during the morning shift… last week. I honestly didn’t know it was possible to mess up fried rice until now. If I’d been eating in, I’d have sent the whole sorry mess back in record time. Instead, I just stared at it, wondering how on earth something this bad made it into a takeaway box.

Very good food, friendly staff and good prices! The food is vibrant and you get a lot to eat. Rice is however not included and costs extra which is strange. Should be included in the price. The staff are generous, nice and good people that care about their customers. The atmosphere is good!

I cannot fault this lovely restaurant! The food is tasty, all of the staff are friendly, helpful and so easy to deal with. My 6 and 8 year old even look forward to this place and we've come back multiple times over the last couple of years! The salt and pepper chicken is devine and the house red is decent! Thank you! :D

The food is lovely, we return each year and the service is very good. The only problem here is the play area, it’s absolutely shocking and needs condemning!! My daughter bumped her head on one of the play areas and came up with an egg sized bump within minutes. Luckily the staff was excellent and gave us ice immediately and were very concerned but I think they either need to improve the play area or just close it off completely !! Food is lovely but the playground is dangerous, so be careful if you have kids!

First visit after passing yearly saying 'we must go there' and will definitely come again. Lovely tasty food and friendly happy service. Reasonably priced to!

Fantastic experience from start to finish – the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, the food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between comfort and elegance. A place I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.

Food was nice and nice atmosphere. The service however was not as good, waited almost 2 hours for our food, hard to talk to the waiters and get their attention. Offered drinks 4x before the meal arrived

Indian restaurant
Shakira Indian Restaurant in Torrevieja offers a great dining experience with delicious food, generous portions, and friendly service. The cozy atmosphere and sea view terrace add to the overall appeal. Customers have praised the quality of the curry, mixed platters, and lassi options. The staff is known for their friendliness and prompt service. With a relaxed ambiance and nearby entertainment options like karaoke bars, it's an ideal spot for a satisfying meal.
Delicious food, good portions and very kind service. Loved the cozy atmosphere and especially recommended the curry and mixed platters. The lassi - both salty and mango was super good. Only thing - maybe the waiters could be more active in recommending the dishes, we took the mixed non veg platter as a starter and then the shakira mixed dish, which were basically the same thing 😆 so I guess we would have loved a heads up when we ordered.

We have been eating at Shakira for lots of years. It's definitely the best tastiest Indian food we've eaten and always something we look forward to when we return. It is great value, the food is always good quality. The staff over the years have changed but are always friendly and gracious. It's one of our highlights as a family. Keep up all the great service.

Visited again today for my first meal out with my 8-year-old boy since moving to the area from the UK yesterday. Food, service and value was very good. I left my bank card and €5 on the table by accident and the waiter chased down the street after me to make sure it was returned. We will certainly be regular and loyal customers from here on in. Thank you xx

We've been visiting Los Dolses for 20+ years now, and we never miss grabbing a curry at Shakira's. Great food cooked brilliantly. Staff are always friendly and always makes us feel welcome. 6 of us dined there tonight, still great tasting food and good service. We left 15 minutes before closing, but were never rushed out. 👍

Our second time eating here in 5 days. Wow!! Amazing food, service, staff and VALUE. 3 Really good deals. €30/35/38 for 3 or 4 course meal with free bottle of wine and shots when leaving. Apparently a new Chef and I'd say I hope he's paid well as this is the best Indian restaurant food I've eaten in years. Guys, at least give it a coat of looking at. A couple leaving as we arrived told us "Amazing food" and how right they were

RESTAURANTE SEMANA 8 is a popular spot, especially during busy times like New Year's Eve. Despite the longer wait for food, the staff remained polite and worked hard to deliver tasty and hot dishes. The restaurant has been newly renovated and offers a great dining experience with friendly staff. It's a place where both adults and kids can enjoy delicious meals, making it a good choice for dining out with friends or family.
Everything was 10/10. Upon entering we got rice chips with sauce, then we got served delicious food by a robot server. Extremely friendly staff made our visit even better. I will be returning here sometime soon :)

Really good portion sizes. We ordered way too much food for the 2 of us. So reasonably priced for the portion size. My only gripe was they are a bit stingy on the king prawns in our special fried rice only 3. I recommend the duck spring rolls. Really yummy.

Four of us arrived for a Menu Del Dia at around 5pm (we're earlier eaters, but it means things are a bit quieter in Spain), which consists of a starter, main, side and dessert. I went for the salad starter, which contained two prawns and a small breadcrumbed chicken with crispy salad. Didn't worry too much about the sesame sauce on the side, but liked the sour vinaigrette. My main was a Chow Mein, containing a good mix of protein (beef, chicken, pork, prawns) and veg, with an egg fried rice to the side. Together it was quite filling. I took the cheesecake dessert which was quite plain, topped with fruits and drizzled with strawberry compote, quite refreshing and cleansing. All this came with a half-bottle of white wine, for the price of around 15 Euros/head Finished with an apple schnapps, good and sour. Service was pleasant and engaging (along with a robot to carry the meals, but kept getting snagged on chairs!). Would heartily recommend, definitely happy to return.

Fantastic Asian/ Chinese restaurant. Set menu before 19:30 at €13.99 including a half bottle of wine per diner is the best value ever. The tempura king prawns are the best I’ve ever tasted. Lovely atmosphere and friendly efficient staff with meals delivered by robot, the kids absolutely love it. Highly recommended. Pre-booking essential.

Delicious, lecker 😋 Starter: King Prawms Tempura (WOW), Main: Curried chicken of the house (Thai- Penang-Style, love it), Desert: Cream Caramel (toped with fresh fruits 🥰) We come again! 🙋‍♂️

The food was good and arrived fast when we first got to order. (Don't know if they were short staffed) Reasonable priced and a lot of food (great for sharing) Ended up around 70€ for a family of five including drinks.

Great food and nice staff. It looks like bigger parties get the fun nice robot serving the food so next time I’ll make sure we are more than 2 people because I would also love the nice little robot 😄
Digga — Google review
We went during a relatively quiet time. There were plenty of available tables and seemed to be a good ratio of staff to customers. We all ordered from the set menu apart from one kids meal. After ordering there was a long wait before starters arrived. Long enough for staff to notice we had been waiting for ages and say that the food wouldn't be much longer..... It was. Starters were nice. Plates cleared then on to waiting again. Mains took ages to arrive. Well most of them arrived. One of our party was totally missed off. Their side arrived (so the order was taken) but the main never materialised. After waiting for about 25 minutes. Staff came to say that the missing meal was on its way. By this time we had had enough. The whole experience had been ruined for everyone really. Staff seemed clueless to the fact that no one wants to eat alone nearly half an hour after everyone else has finished. Staff said that the diner that was missed out wouldn't be charged for anything, which would have been reasonable, had it actually been the case. Wouldn't return. The service was terrible. We even had to chase up the bill as it took over ten minutes to arrive. The manager was disinterested, seemingly convinced we were at wrong for not wanting to eat in staggered sittings. I wouldn't fancy risking it at a busy time when the restaurant is full. Fortunately we managed to get a take out from one of the other restaurants in the area. Next time we would go back to Asian Fusion. It is about 5 minutes away by car and is so much better.

Takeout Restaurant
Nestled in a serene location, Indian Cottage is a delightful culinary gem that has captured the hearts of many visitors. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, this restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring authentic Indian dishes. Diners rave about the freshly prepared flavors, particularly enjoying specialties like Chicken Jalfrezi and Dhall. The relaxed service adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot for both takeaway or dining in.
Staff very helpful when asking about dishes and willing to change sauce strengths. The Indian accompaniments pre meal were so good, lovely flavours. The main meal was piping hot and extremely tasty. Could not fault it and will be back next year.

Review of the restaurant: We ordered: • Onion bhaji • Chicken badam pasanda • Lamb curry • Special rice • Keema rice • Garlic naan • Peshwari naan It’s a really calm place, and the service is very relaxed – I came in for takeaway, but they still offered me a table to sit at while I waited. There weren’t many people, but we’re here off-season. We first visited this place 6 years ago, then again recently, and once more today. The staff are beyond friendly – incredibly kind, calm, and patient. I come from a more fast-paced culture, so it was honestly refreshing to be told: “Sit down, relax, you can pay when the food is ready.” It made me feel welcome and at ease. Even when an older lady came in and complained (in classic grumpy style) about the wind, the staff responded with a big smile and no hesitation: “Of course, this side is much better,” and kindly helped her move. The food: As always – delicious! This isn’t a gourmet restaurant, but it’s exactly the kind of everyday place you want to keep coming back to. We’ve chosen this restaurant over others in the area multiple times – and that says something. Cleanliness: Also worth noting – they wiped down the table I sat at, even though I hadn’t eaten or drunk anything. That kind of habit shows care and good hygiene. Waiting time: From order to ready: 20 minutes. Perfect.

Good quality Indian restaurant. They have a wide range of dishes on the menu and offer a very reasonable set menu in the evenings (early bird & late) as well as a small tapas menu if you’re not looking for a big meal. Waiters speak both English and Spanish and are attentive while the staff comply with Covid measures (masks, distance etc..). Worth a try if you’re in the area.

Visited Indian Cottage three times in one week, and that tells a lot about this place. Best indian food. Very polite and helpful servers, which is rare to find in Spain. We tried butter chicken and tikka masala, and it was amazing. Definetly recommend, you are missing out if you don’t visit!

V local to where we were staying so dropped in. Don’t let the Roadside restaurant vibe put you off… The food was well prepared and very tasty. In particular, the Dhall was stunning and never having had mango chicken- was pleasantly surprised (v mild dish though!). Would defo revisit and absolutely certainly recommend. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

One of my favourite resteraunts on the Costa blanca! Usually stay down near the cabo roig strip and would happily pay a taxi to eat here! Staff are lovely, food is honestly one of the best Indian food I've ever had! Always come and would recommend to anyone

Food yes absolutely fabulous. Service could not have been better. Atmosphere, well what do we expect in a restaurant. Will go again and again. Really like this place.

Well. We don't regularly go out but when we do we have a Indian / curry the last two times we're here both times exceptional. Tonight it was really quite bad, I was saying to my wife that my main tasted funny As in funny peculiar / not funny haha, the mushroom fried rice was undercooked. The management came over to ask if all was OK, he then said his family member was trained by him etc etc.. End of the day it was poor food and nan bread undercooked.. Maybe a bad day at the office.. We left most of it, paid and walked off. The wife's chicken. Shazlick (not spelt correctly). Was beautiful..
