Juan Mari restaurant is highly praised for its exceptional food, receiving a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. The quality and taste of the dishes, including the complimentary appetizer, are widely appreciated by customers. One particular highlight mentioned is the Arroz con solomillo y tomillo, which is a favorite paella option. The service provided by the staff is rated at 4 out of 5, with an overall positive impression.
Lovely place! Professional service, aware and quick. We had a lovely three course meal, the main courses were the main attraction. Beef tenderloin and Iberico Special were lovely meals, the starters are also great. Great selection of wines for the prices. Would definitely recommend and come again.

“…wild red shrimp, sea bass black rice… it was just sensational…” Lobster salpicón and warm artichokes completed a perfect lunch. This home owned restaurant is serving delicious food in this region. Friendly people cooking right. Nice wine list.

Best restaurant we’ve tried in the area. Delicious, fresh and well-cooked food at an affordable price with lovely service and setting. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into the cuisines.

🍽️Food: 5/5 🤵🏽‍♂️Service: 4/5 🪑Ambiance: 4/5 📝Notes: This restaurant is perfect for date night. I love the food so much! Everything I had, including the complimentary appetizer was amazing 🥰 My favorite paella was the Arroz con solomillo y tomillo. The staff were overall nice, but I did feel a sense of discomfort, maybe because we are typically a younger group that dined here. I’m not so sure, but nonetheless I had a great time and would for sure come back if I pass by town :)

Traditional Spanish food with lots of fish dishes. Friendly staff and superb food.
Henrik B — Google review
Fantastic little restaurant that delivers extremely well made dishes with clean yet intense taste profiles. The tasting set for 60 euro is well worth the money and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. If you are a foodie this is well worth the trip to experience.
James L — Google review
Bad service, they don’t now what good service is, super slow had to ask for drinks several times. Beef was undercooked, took it back. They sliced the same sirloin in three, cooked it again and it was overcooked. Had to send it back again and then they were empty for beef.

Wonderful restaurant. Great food. Fab staff. Spoke only Spanish but got by great anyway. Located in a backstreet but still had a nice atmosphere. Can highly recommend this place!

Indian restaurant
Max Beach International Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Recently, I had the chance to indulge in their diverse menu, which features a remarkable array of international dishes that cater to every palate. Each plate was not only bursting with flavor but also beautifully presented, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and aesthetics. The atmosphere at Max Beach is both stylish and inviting, making it an ideal spot for travelers seeking a relaxing meal.
Best spicy and sweet home made hotsauce I have tried since my Dad's. It's a warm and savory feeling on your tongue with hints or mango chutney. I dare not ask the recipe because it is more valuable than Coco cola recipe! I also had the chicken soup as I wasn't that hungry but it is freshly prepared and excitingly flavourful with hints of roasted garlic. Thank you for a great meal. This is a must stop for any travelers to the area. Best ever!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Max Beach International Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The variety of international options on the menu is impressive, catering to all tastes. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The ambiance was also perfect, with a lovely atmosphere that’s both relaxing and stylish. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a special night out, this is the place to go. Highly recommend Max Beach International Restaurant—I’ll definitely be coming back!”

This place is unbelievable. The tastiest food, great selection, all cooked perfectly, whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. The curries are 👌 so flavoursome. We had indian breakfast one morning and wow! Location is on the beach, with stunning views of the Mar Manor We've been visiting Maxx beach for a few years now (and will for a few more) we have never been let down Thank you Prab and the team for you're hospitality year upon year.

I dined at The Royal Nawaad Restaurant in Manchester, which is considered to be one of the best, but it has nothing on this restaurant. You know when your experience is something special,, when you don't want to stop eating, 6stars

This is one of the best Indian food restaurants in this area. Really fresh prepared food. Great and kind People who love making good food. And the prices are really good! They also serve other type of food like Mexican and Italian but for me the Indian food is the best!
Peter B — Google review
Very hot day sitting by the beach having curry. Who would have thought it? Staff very polite and obliging. We'll be back.
Keith R — Google review
We had two meals. Spaghetti with frutti de mare and a mexican enchilada with beef meat. Service was awfully slow with veeery long waiting times! We never received a requested spoon and the extra parmesan for the spaghetti. The spaghetti was mushy at its max. and there was far too little sea fruit in it. My girlfriend couldn't sleep all night because of troubles in her stomach. The enchilada was covered in indian street mayonnaise style, the beef meat was full of fat and tendons and all in all horrible to eat. Can't understand those good reviews at all.
C B — Google review
Such an amazing Indian restaurant! The food was exellent and the waiters are professional and very thoughtful, checking if everything was ok every once in a while. They are also English-friendly which is easy if you are a tourist. Definitely would go back again!

Very good portions, and a very nice atmosphere. We came here for our comida de empresa with friends and had an absolute blast! The rice was very good. They definitely need another bathroom added there somewhere. Unfortunately there is only one small toilet and you have to wait a very long time. But other than that the place is fantastic!
Phil T — Google review
We came across this place due to many others being closed because of inclement weather. Overall it was a really nice surprise, and once we’d translated the menu we enjoyed some fabulous food and attentive staff.

The food was excellent but a chair broke and our table collapsed, and their was no real concern or apology. My partner was bruised in the incident. A free G&T wouldn't have gone amiss

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, Minengre is a must-visit spot that truly stands out. With its warm and inviting atmosphere, this charming restaurant offers an impressive menu filled with delicious homemade dishes. Guests rave about the Mi Cubano burger and the perfectly cooked home fries, all served alongside complimentary snacks like mixed nuts and olives to enjoy while you sip on your drinks.
Decided to try based on such good previous reviews and very hungry bellies. And thankfully, we were not disappointed. Excellent in every way .... hospitality, food, service, and ambience. Ordered a Mi Cubano burger each. Whilst waiting, we were given complimentary crisps and olives to graze on with our drinks. The food was freshly cooked and deliciously homemade. We were made to feel very welcome. Burgers were fantastic, and the home fries were perfect. The total cost for 2 burgers & 2 drinks was €24. Also offered complimentary shots when we paid our bill. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Minengre 🙏
Laura A — Google review
Lovely place and the burgers are really great. Service great.
Michael W — Google review
I usually take pictures of my food before eating but this time I couldn't because the food looked so good and we were starving. To start, we were the only ones there because we arrived an hour before they closed but they welcomed us with a warm and inviting attitude. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with free mixed nuts and chips. We ordered the nachos, angry burger and the mi cubana burger. Everything was so good! The fries were fresh, portions large and flavor on point. Even the strawberry mojitos were larger than we anticipated and delicious! The service was super quick and accommodated all of our needs. When we asked for the bill, they offered us 6 free shots of different spanish liqueurs, which was a sweet way to end the night. We had a great conversation and the staff really made us feel like we were at home. I will definitely be returning here for a good, filling meal.

I had a dinner in Minengre with a couple of friends. The food was great, the location and atmosphere very modern and cozy with some bachata songs in the background and most importantly, the two waitresses attending us were extremely kind and professional. They also offered us a free shot of limoncello after dinner. Cherry on top, my friend is vegetarian and they got plenty of options for him too. We’ll come back for sure, 10 out of 10!

Fabulous, fabulous!! A must if you’re in the area! We ate a lot of amazing meals in the 3 1/2 weeks we explored southern Spain. This was our favorite from service to food to ambience!
Darcy R — Google review
We had a great family lunch at MardeSal. The place is beautiful, pet friendly and the service was super fun. We started with some scallops, morcilla, croquetes mas and warm bread. We had fideuà and arroz negro for main. Some wine and got free house liquors as a treat in the end of our meal. We will be back for sure and super recommend.

Been here a few times. On this occasion I had the grilled Turbot. Fabulous. My granddaughter had a burger which was beautifully cooked and tasty. Not cheap but great setting, service and ambience. Highly recommended.
Jon P — Google review
A rather special place with very attractive decor. Tables outside perfectly laid, top class. Staff very welcoming, attentive and hard working. Tasteful music background. And that's all said before the menu arrives, which presents a wide mouth watering choice.(better presentation on the website advised). Finally, food was great and monopole rioja vino blanco was excellent and very reasonably priced. Indeed all good value and a destination to be recommended.

Pedro is a amazing host, fabulous Spanish food with fish a specialty. We had the Gambas Roja cooked in sea salt, the cod with black garlic and entrecôte steak. For dessert we had the Manzana tarte, which was superb. We have been here many times and the food and service is always exceptional. Thanks again to Pedro for his hospitality and attention to detail.

Very lovely restaurant located nearby the port and salinas of San Pedro del Pinatar. Although some smaller dishes/tapas are a bit more expensive, the quality of the food and excellent service make it a place to come back when in the neighbourhood

We had a big family celebration here and it was beautifully catered for all (over 80's, children, teens and vegans alike). The staff were courteous and accommodating and in keeping with the elegance of the dining experience (available and helpful, but not over friendly). And the food was exceptional. And great value for the quality. Would definitely cone back, and recommend. Beautiful unusual location too.

Pizza restaurant
El Rincón Italiano is a delightful gem that stands out in its location, especially where dining options are limited. The restaurant boasts an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to its wonderful owner and friendly staff who go above and beyond for their customers. Diners rave about the pizza, noting the soft dough that remains delicious even when cooled. The pasta and risotto are cooked to perfection, showcasing authentic Italian flavors without heavy creams.
Good is just fantastic which is rare for Italian restaurant in Spain. Pasta and risotto perfectly at dente, no heavy creams used. Just fantastic. And staff is super friendly , recommended
Denitsa G — Google review
We heard that this was one of the better Italian restaurants in the area, but were disappointed. The pasta’s were okay, not great and with too much cream. The pizza is the smallest I have ever had, unless you would order a smaller one for a child (bambino). I ordered a pizza prosciutto and asked if it really was with prosciutto ham and not cooked ham. They assured me it was, but when I got the pizza it was cooked ham anyway? If I had known I would have ordered a different pizza. The water is € 2,80 for half a liter, which is more than any other restaurant in the area asks. The staff is friendly, so that is why I am giving three stars, but I cannot recommend this place…
Anne N — Google review
Always beautiful food in a great family run restaurant. Lasagna and Canaloni are to die for, but the baked cod is also not to be missed. Highly recommended.
Marshall K — Google review
Nice Italian restaurant in a location where there isn't much else on offer. Have to travel further in town for other options. Food was good and prices fine. Nice staff
Reuben C — Google review
Wonderful owner. They are so kind, professional service, they care a lot about their customers and they give the extra mile. First time in a long time I've eaten pizza like that. The dough is so soft, it's not tough even when it gets cold. It tasted so good and i wanted more. I will go back there again. Strongly recommend!!!

Right in front of the Mar Menor with stunning views. Comfortable seating and attentive staff. We ate Toastados with tomato and tuna, plus a toasted sandwich which came with small salad and chips. Coffees were lovely as well. Recommend this place to sit and pass the say whilst people watching.

Excellent position opposite the boat club and beach. The service was good but inside space was a bit of a squeeze, we were a bit close to the people next to us. Outside space was better set up with plenty of room between tables. The food was okay and the fish for sharing didn’t have much meat on it, it was mostly bones and we thought (as per other comments) that it was not good value for money at 40 Euro. I see from JOSE LUIS MARTINEZ 1 star comment below that they were also caught out by the Gallo Pedro dish except they were smart enough to challenge the bill, as we didn’t see the price, so that restaurant owes us 20 Euro, I include Jose Luis bill below mine. My total bill was almost 72 Euro, that’s what happens when you take the waiter recommendation without checking the price. We won’t eat here again. I have added the two bills in the photos which shows we were ripped off be very careful when you eat here.

No air-conditioning in middle of August. The waitress was very snappy and when i am paying good money, 190€ , i expected better service but he ho you cant buy class, ive had better service when in a cafe ordering cafe con leche. The paella was tasteless with 2 prawns and 1 piece of meat per person. When the waitress finally asked if everything was ok and we said no ot isnt, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Although we booked an inside table expecting to eat in air conditioned comfort, it was hotter inside than out, simply unbearable

Raw chicken empanada served to my 11 year old nephew , which they took from us and recooked , rather than making a fresh one . the waiter bumped my husband on the back of the head twice serving the table behind us which was far too close . My starter was practically thrown on the opposite side of the table to where I was sitting . All in , not a good experience, won’t be back .

Pjc C — Google review
My family had heard good things about this restaurant and unfortunately this place was a complete utter let down. I'm not sure what the problem was with the staff but it needs a serious check. I'll start from the beginning and make my way down. Service took so long for anything, they don't pay attention to their tables at all it seemed. We'd try flag them down several times but they'd only look at the table they were at then hurriedly leave, there was several times I made eye contact with the servers and waved them down politely and they'd just ignore me or my parents. They gave us drinks and bread, the bread seemed to be going stale it was not a nice crunchy bread but stiff and felt like it was cut and left out for ages. About drinks as well, my father ordered a Coca-Cola, saying it a couple times to the server, the server then brought back Pepsi and without confirming, poured the drink hurriedly into my father's glass. This was already quite annoying, as if you don't have Cola, say it, as he hates Pepsi. The server said they didn't have Cola, so me and my dad switched drinks. But later into the meal, another server got my dad Cola, so there was Cola and that server lied to is which is incredibly rude and annoying. We ordered Calimari, Baby Squid and Paella. Warning you that the Paella will take over 30 minutes to be ready, so if you're in a rush like we were, don't order it. The baby squid was not very baby. I love baby squid so I was really looking forward to having some, as I love hunting for the best. This had to be on the top 3 for the worst I've had and I hate to be rude. Since the baby squid weren't very young the texture was completely different, as well they had a lot of ink which make the taste significantly different. I also had to add a lot of salt which didn't help, I couldn't eat it at all and had to spit it out. It was also bathed in oil. The Calimari was actually pretty good, I didn't have much because my parents love to drench it in lemon, but unfortunately, one piece had a large string of steel wool in it, clearly on the surface. It makes me worry how careful they are with these things if they can't see a glaringly obvious gray piece of shining metal. The Paella was really good according to my parents, I don't like it so no comment on this part from me. Only good things about this place are prices, decor and the amount of comfortable space between the tables. I would not go here again, it was incredibly disappointing and really upsetting for me as this was my last day in Spain, I was looking forward to some good baby squid. I apologise for any rudeness in my review this time, the feeling I had leaving this place really made me upset.

This is a brilliant place to visits if you are in Murcia region. Worth the journey here just for their food ! Visited with my wife and daughter who is vegan. Chris couldn’t have been more helpful in accommodating us. Definitely worth calling to book, as, speaking to others it’s regularly v busy.

Exceptional places with great burgers. The place is owned by a British couple, they both work as a cook and waiter respectively. Very friendly atmosphere and the owner is happy to introduce the menu options personally. Great choice of wine. Kids menu options available.

Gave this 5 stars but worth way way more. Celebrated my sister in laws birthday there yesterday. Chris's knowledge of the homemade food he serves and sources was brilliant. We loved all the dishes we tried. He is also very knowledgeable on the local wines that he serves and the recommendations he gave us were superb. Although not a vegetarian, his vegetarian menu was appealing and well worth looking at. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already thinking of our next one.

Lunch for the 3 of us consisted of cod fishcake, Mexican burger and wild boar burger. All freshly cooked and tasted great. Lovely setting overlooking the marina, good service and the champagne lemon sorbet to finish was delicious. It's been a couple of years since our first visit, but we will be going back much more often in future.

Amazing restaurant, food, owners and place!!! Everything homemade, great quality, fresh and tasty! Great selection of glutenfree dishes, desserts, drinks, different meats and also vegan. Good children's menu. You sit in a nice marina. Excellent service. They have wine and food tastings in the summer. Open from the end of March to the end of November. I really recommend you to go here!

With a diverse selection of dishes featuring mouthwatering meat, fresh fish, and vibrant salads, it's perfect for sharing with family or friends. Fantastic Menu del Dia. Superb quality and big portions. Great value for money. There were 9 of us, and between us we had every item on the menu. They were all excellent. Love it.

I recently visited this restaurant, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The food was terrible, lacking quality, which led us to leave without even touching our meal. More concerning was the staff's complete disregard for food allergy requests, making it a very dangerous place for anyone with dietary restrictions. This was once an excellent restaurant known for its great atmosphere, but it seems to have declined significantly, possibly due to new management. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment until improvements are made.

With an extensive menu featuring 17 delectable options, this eatery specializes in fresh and flavorful fried seafood. Guests can indulge in a variety of dishes like fried calamari, baby squid, prawns, and mixed fish—each prepared to perfection. The self-service setup allows for quick dining while enjoying stunning views over the Mar Menor.
Love this place. Not the friendliest of service but the food is great! Pay by the weight of fried seafood, enjoy with a jug of ice cold Sangria or beer! Must be experienced. Just be patient with the staff 😅

A very cultural and authentic Spanish experience in San Pedro del Pinatar. The atmosphere is lively and truly Murcian in spirit, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying fresh seafood by the sea. The food gave me a lot of pleasure – perfectly fried fish, fresh flavors, and generous portions. Tip: don’t miss the grilled green peppers (pimientos asados) – they go wonderfully with a cold local beer (alcoholic or non-alcoholic, both are excellent quality). The combination of food, setting, and relaxed seaside vibe makes this place very special. Highly recommended if you want to taste real Spanish coastal culture in a simple but unforgettable way

Takeout Restaurant
During a recent Saturday night adventure, I discovered Torombölo, a charming restaurant that stood out amidst the typically bustling area. Surprisingly quiet for the evening, it offered an inviting atmosphere with only a few eateries open. My culinary journey began with a fresh Caesar salad and an assortment of empanadas, followed by two delectable steak dishes. Each bite was delightful, particularly the authentic Argentinian chimichurri sauce that accompanied the steaks—truly a flavor explosion!
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We went twice during our two week stay. The waitress on both occasions was great, friendly and efficient, didn't get her name. The food is awesome! Fish and chips were the best I've ever had. Fresh and plentiful. The wife and lad had, pizza and carbonara one time and shared next, again all superb. If you're in the area go, you won't be disappointed.
Ned L — Google review
Stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday night. The area is typically crowded during lunch however was unusually quiet during our visit with only few restaurants open. It was a beautiful coincidence that we decided to try this restaurant out because the food exceeded our expectations. Had a caesar salad, variety of empanada and 2 different types of steak. Each and every one of it was delicious, especially the chimmicuri sauce that came with the steak truly authentic Argentinian! There were total 4 of us and we had beers too, bill came up to an average 20 euros each which was pretty decent. Would recommend anyone looking for somewhere cosy with good Argentinian cuisine. Their pizzas from the next table also smelt good!
Nicole L — Google review
Very disappointing! The empenadas were under cooked and doughy, the 15€ seafood spaghetti was over cooked and tasteless as if the sauce was just watered down pizza tomato sauce. Looked nothing like the picture posted on social media. I only had one prawn in my portion and my husband only one mussel in his. 4.50€ for a bottle of sparkling mineral water!! Once the mains were served, we didn't see the waiters again and paid our bill with all the plates in the table. We saw plenty of people leaving big doughy pizza crusts on their plates. Won't be going back. Picture 2 is the advertised dish vs what it actually looked like in picture 1
Ulrika V — Google review
Absolutely fabulous. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We had chicken ceser salad to start with, one of the best ceser salads we have had. My main course was, beef rib and it was cooked to perfection and it was huge. Definitely recommend. 10/10.

Apologies for all of the blood on my picture but that's just how I like my steak :) First time we've been here, the marina location is lovely and this place was a total gem! I spoke in terrible broken Spanish, the chap serving us politely smiled and responded in perfect English. I do try tho! The food here was perfect, we just had a main each but couldn't fault anything about the experience. We'll definitely be back, thank you for a lovely dinner!
Graeme F — Google review
We previously had a booking here but unfortunately had to cancel, promising we would return. It didn't disappoint, the staff were lovely and the food excellent. We chose the Argentinian entrecote which was served simply with roasted potatoes and vegetables with a chimi churri dressing. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium and fell apart. Overall a great restaurant with a varied cuisine to suit all tastes. We shall return.
Simon G — Google review
The food was good. The service was more than okay. The only minor thing is my food was not so warm anymore when served but could have something to do with the fact we were with 6 people and all with a different dish 🤷🏻‍♀️so probably hard on the chef. We had a very pleasant memorable evening! We would go back if the opportunity rises.

Food was good. Service a mixed bag ranging from the male middle age waiters who was outright rude n hostile compared to the lovely female young waitress. Loved the food. But won’t go back.

After sitting outside once before and getting ignored mostly we decided to try again and had two great meals since. Today after ordering a cod dish it came cold and undercooked. Sent it back and it returned in the same condition. Very small cod portion. We told them not to try a third time but they brought it back again. We told them to take it away. Am I wrong in thinking two tries is enough for a portion of birds eye cod fillet? Non smiling and abrupt service as though we're getting in the way. Anyway...the bill came including €32 for the two portions. Spoke to manager who suggested they'd tried their best snd didn't understand the problem. Told him I wasn't paying for that part if the bill. He finally accepted that but told me I had a lot of cheek and put his hand on my shoulder. Ugh! Plenty of options around so won't be going back...how hard is it to cook a cod fillet well and smile whilst delivering it? Too hard for them apparently

Lovely place to sit opposite the beach front. There are tables at the front on the pavement by the beach, or inside and outside the bar itself. Service is really good and friendly. They regularly bring out different tapas to try with our drinks which are always tasty. Even in winter this bar is usually quite busy due to its popularity but we've always been able to get a table. In the summer we book on a weekend as it gets busier then.
Maria L — Google review
We have visited frequently at La Barra and been very satisfied so far. Last Saturday went again and it was a big disappointment. Firstly, we couldn´t sit at the free table, which had five chairs, the waiter told, it is reserved for the groups of 5 people only! Several pairs game and left after this same message during we waited our drinks and food at the bar table we got permision to sit. We ordered house tapas selection of 9 tapas as many times before. The selection (when it finally came) contained 3 portions of pork in different sauces, 1 of roasted pork rind, 2 of pork sausage, 1 of pork meat balls, 1 mushrooms with bacon and 1 cup of russian salad. No seafood, olives or any salad like always before, that set was very heavy and stodgy. There was only one waiter who was very friendly and tried to do her best. We are missing the good old La Barra, hopefully it comes back some day, until then we`ll choose some other place at the paseo.

Great value and always well cooked. Chinese, Japanese and Indian dishes. Best at Chinese though. Outside roadside terrace available and parking.

We stumbled on this restaurant with a vast menu and very reasonably priced. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. It is not a very fancy place, pretty dark and the chairs are not comfortable enough to stay for a longer time. Maybe in summertime it is better on the terrace. I would suggest having lunch here instead of dinner.

After we discovered this restaurant we ate here 3 times in less than one week! Everything was just so good! I would love to have such a good Asian restaurant in Belgium too.
Laura G — Google review
This Chinese is the worst Chinese I have ever eaten at. The food is cold, and not fresh, if you say until it is cold they feel with their finger if it is correct, and they start arguing, in the end you get it new and you just know until it comes from the microwave. The bami is not fresh, and they are also expensive.
JK — Google review
If you want a relaxing meal/time forget this place. The staff will stand on duty and stare at you while you eat making you feel uncomfortable. A real shame because the food is good although I don't understand hot food being served on cold dishes and plates.

The majority of Chinese restaurants in Spain (in my experience) are pretty lousy, even in the cities. The food here is the same type but the quality is a big step up. The ingredients, including the meat, are much better and the sauces are richer in flavour. The place seems to do a lot of business too, always a good sign.

Spanish restaurant
Aquilino Restaurante is a delightful gem that truly embodies the essence of traditional Spanish dining. Recently, I had the pleasure of joining a group for a monthly Ladies Lunch, and despite the bustling atmosphere, our meals arrived promptly and were beautifully prepared. The menu featured an array of delicious options, including fresh salads, succulent home-cooked ham off the bone paired with bread, perfectly cooked minute steak topped with an egg and served alongside crispy French fries, all culminating in a rich chocolate tart for dessert.
A What a great find. Recommended to us by a local who said that it was the only place where they will order from the Menu del dia. Lovely Spanish restaurant serving amazing cuts of meat cooked to perfection. Don’t bother asking for sauces on your steak - the flavour here comes totally from the meat and the cooking (over wooden bbq flame). If I’ve had a better Porterhouse steak I really can’t remember when Service was especially helpful and friendly to us as tourists (we were the only ones in a packed restaurant), and I’m glad we took the advice and recommendations of our waitress. They also have a butchery attached which is also well worth a visit. Not a place I’d imagine vegetarians would look for but otherwise do yourself a favour and seek it out. We’ll be back.

I do recommend this one. Great food! Very good value for money. Tottaly worth it! Be prepared for a noisy atmosphere with people talking quite loud. The waiters are friendly. But, the service is not fast at all.

Had the daily menu for 11€. Big salad and bread to start. Large starter and good sized main course of decent quality. No room for desert so we finished off with coffee. Looked after by John who was super friendly and always smiling. Well worth another visit.

This is a standard for us. Great traditional experience. Good food, quick service and once you get to know the regular staff a good chat is always on the menu. The products they sell outstanding as they produce it and the prices very good. Their tapas is good as well and good selection. My personal favorite the lamb chops! Weekends you’d better book to get a seat.

This is a great spot with great food. Amazing service and spoke English. Started with free appetizers and bread. Very helpful servers that explained the different foods. The main dish was amazing and got a lot of different dips and sauces with free refills. Would definitely recommend this place.

4 of us visited for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted immediately on arrival and shown to our table. The service and attention were 1st class. The menu is via a QR code accessed by your mobile phone with photos to show what each option is too. The meal came out quickly and all together at the same time, one member of our group asked for his to be cooked a little bit more and this was sorted without hesitation. The food was amazing, the flavour in the steak was like something I've never tasted before. 3 of us opted for the Beef Fore Rib steak whilst the 4th chose a pork steak. No one was disappointed. 4 meals, 1 round of drinks plus a bottle of house red came to €150. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great steak with top service in a lovely atmosphere.

What a fantastic find! We stumbled across Tabula Brasa while exploring the area and couldn't have been luckier. Our first visit with four of us turned into a memorable evening - everyone ordered steaks which were absolutely exceptional, cooked to perfection. The place impressed us so much that two of us returned a few days later to try their salmon, which was equally amazing, served with perfectly prepared vegetables. The house wine is excellent and incredibly reasonable, and the staff really make you feel welcome with their friendly, attentive service. Not just attentive but genuinely warm and helpful. Such great value for the quality of food and service - this place seriously punches above its weight and terrific value. Just a short walk from where we were staying, it became our favourite local spot. Can't wait to return on our next visit!

Restaurante Buffet Grill Paloma is a fantastic Mediterranean restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food is exquisite, with beautifully cooked dishes that are flavorful and abundant. One standout dish is the garlic prawns, which are highly recommended. The restaurant maintains high cleanliness standards in its premises. Great value for money, excellent food and the owner or owners, wonderfully sociable and accomodating. Pizza, emanada, salmon artichoke, 2 wines and a beer almost the size of Donald trump's ego...all for 24 euros. And great service! Highly recommendable!

Absolutely unpleasant people!!! Totally disappointed with food and staff which are very rude and racist to British people!!! On the menu they sell squid with 5€ but charged me with 18€ and also told me if I’m not happy I can go back to my country!!! I was with my child and didn’t want to ruin her vacation, but this kind of attitude is unacceptable!! Very disappointed!! Do not recommend this place English speaking people!!! Look at the added foto of the squid portion that cost me 18€

Amigos Sports Bar in San Pedro del Pinatar is the perfect spot for sports enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. With a welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly owners, this bar offers an impressive array of screens showcasing various sports events like football, rugby, golf, and tennis. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating that accommodates up to 100 people comfortably.
Was recommended by a friend to come here for their Fish & Chips which is only served on Fridays. Came back twice and ordered two plates of it cos that's how good it was. Also serves one of the best pints of Guinness! Generous portion and have a wide selection of delicious food too. Highly recommended for anyone who are (especially) looking to fulfill cravings for fish & chips 🙌

I came here with my sons for a few drinks whilst staying for a long weekend to watch some football. We found the landlord and his wife a really friendly couple who made a bee line to talk to us and feel welcome. The sports on offer was great, golf, rugby, football, tennis, all on separate screens. There’s indoor and outdoor seating which can easily accommodate 100 people. Whilst we didn’t eat, the food looked and smelt lovely, especially the Sunday dinner (which I wished we’d had!!) I’d definitely recommend it for a warm and friendly atmosphere, great selection of drinks and delicious food.

On thursday we stopped by to have a drink. It was an okay experience, but doesn’t felt staff wanted to help us, but still we got our order. We saw an advertisment about breakfast on saturday. So we went today again. Me and my mate said hello to them when we walked in. The staff was again not pleasing. We sat down and waited for like 20-30 minutes. Nobody wanted to serve us. When a british family came in like 5 minutes later. They got helped nicely and very fast. The staff walked by around our table a couple times, they just Ignored us. Such a shame and awful experience. Also I felt discriminated! Wont recommend people to visit this. There are other nice bars with friendly staff.

Yo, let me drop a review, keep it short but tight, Amigos in San Pedro got the vibes just right. But the real MVP, gotta mention her name, Olivia the waitress, she the star of the game. Drinks on point, man, the flavors hit strong, Cocktails so perfect you can’t go wrong. Mojitos, margaritas, or a classic with ice, Every sip smooth, every taste real nice. Service with a smile, energy on high, She light up the bar like the sun in the sky. Fast on the floor, never missin’ a beat, Friendly and chill, man, the service elite. So if you roll through town and you wanna feel right, Hit Amigos, best spot for the night. Olivia got the crown, that’s the truth I’m spillin’, This bar ain’t good—nah, this bar is killin’. Want me to make a few different versions (one short & punchy, one more detailed & rhymed) so you can actually paste them as Google reviews depending on the vibe you want?

Restaurant
Oishii Restaurante Fusión is a newly opened restaurant located in the Boulevard with modern urban decor. The interior is tastefully done, though seating for larger groups could be a bit tight. The menu offers a variety of Asian dishes including sushi platters, gyozas, fried noodles, roasted duck, and Tom Yam soup. Customers have praised the superb quality of food and friendly staff.
Excellent food. We love the rice noodles as they are very healthy with plenty of ingredients. Sushi is one of the best in the area (including Cabo Roig and Campoamor). The place is well decorated and service is great!

Fusion of all (most) east food styles, also sushi. Great and attentive staff! Prices are fair but not cheap, except for the menu del dia.
Steven K — Google review
Decided to try out this restaurant as it typically crowded during lunch on weekends so do be sure to make a reservation in advance to not be disappointed. The interior is nicely done, with modern furnitures and lightings though the table seating for 5 could get a little tight. We were 4 adults + 1 child so we ordered a sushi platter along with some gyozas, fried noodles, roasted duck and a bowl of Tom Yam soup for sharing. The fried noodles was by far one of the best we have had in awhile however everything else was rather mediocre (nothing special). The Tom Yam soup also tasted abit off in the sense that you could taste a strong presence of vinegar (though it was our poor choice as one should never order Thai from a Chinese place). To end our meal, we also ordered Asiatico which was served in a tall glass (same type of glass used for beer) which we found odd cos the ratio was way off with amount of coffee superseding liquor /condensed milk. Also hope the management would consider investing in proper glasses with holder as it was a struggle to drink hot beverage from tall beer glass. That being said we'd love to come back again to try the other available Chinese food (and would perhaps suggest others to order those instead of sushi / Tom Yam soup). Price was party reasonable at approximately average €20-25 per pax.

I had ordered tiramisu, but it was still frozen. They placed it straight from the freezer, still in its packaging, onto the table. Worst dessert ever. The restaurant looks nice.

First time visiting this restaurant and will be my last. The service was shocking, the waitress and waiter were rude and disinterested. Starters came intermittently, I had mine finished by the time the others came there were five in the party. Table wasn't cleared and the mains began to arrive firstly mine which was a sizzling beef with noodles, the beef came and the noodles ten mins later and literally thrown in front of me the other mains followed in similar fashion, all were cold. The waitress when we told her took it as a personal insult that we complained. Eventually the manageress came down and said she would sort it out but all she did was bring back the same plates of food Luke warm and with the same finesse as a bull in a china shop. As a dining experience and it was an experience it has to be one of the most horrendous dinning experience I have ever experienced. I would advise anyone thinking of eating in this establishment to go next door to pepco and buy a bar of chocolate

Delicious food including plant based dumplings alas, as they're not that common. The service is very good. However, we had no choice but to sit outside, as they put the aircon on full blast inside. The prices are a bit deer but it's to be expected given the location in the harbour and being a gourmet restaurant. Vegan options 🌱 include edamame, vegetable dumplings and cucumber 🥒 and avocado 🥑 sushi 🍣.

We had another girl super lovely, was kind, but the man everytime he came to the table didn't seem like he enjoyed being there, very unpleasant way of treating us. If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in San Pedro del Pinatar, look no further than Buffet Libre Restaurante Casa Lucrecia. This charming eatery is a local favorite, known for its unbeatable buffet that showcases an array of traditional Spanish dishes at fantastic prices. The atmosphere is lively and bustling, perfect for those wanting to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Spain. Be sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends when it tends to fill up quickly with locals eager to enjoy the delicious offerings.
Well done to all involved this is a great place to try lots of traditional Spanish cuisine, something for everyone, very friendly staff and immaculately clean, will definitely be returning. Thank you from the Johnson family.

The buffet is unbeatable, considering its price. Its a typical spanisch location, where many of the locals go to. It is quite loud in there, so be sure to only go there, when you want to experience the typical style of spanish eating. Oh, and make sure to book a table, depending on the day it can get extremely full.

Chiringuito Calisto is a gem that has captured the hearts of many travelers, including myself, who have returned multiple times. The atmosphere here is simply delightful—relaxed during the day and vibrant at night, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. The friendly staff always greet you with warmth and ensure quick service, whether you're enjoying a refreshing drink after a swim or indulging in delicious tapas.
Enjoyed a late afternoon/evening drinks and tapas here with our 2 year old. Location is fantastic as it’s close to the beach but without sand and there are 3 playgrounds surrounding it. The service at the bar is quick and very friendly, the drinks are refreshing and the tapas are delicious. What more can one wish. Thanks, we will come back again!

I have been on holiday to this location five times in my life. The food and drinks, service, and atmosphere at Chiringuito Castilo has always been top notch and never failed to disappoint. Staff are very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Service is quick and easy. Atmosphere is great, very relaxed during the day, and exciting yet comfortable at night. Five stars all over. Terrific bar. Stopped for a drink at the halfway point of a 20,000 step walk. The refreshing chilled beer was exceptional. Great shade area. Clean tables, lots of staff on hand. The owner acknowledged us and we were made to feel very welcome even though we only sort a small amount. The place has a great vibe with locals enjoying a late lunch. Fantastic atmosphere. Been coming here for years, but after last night we won't return. They had to recook a salmon fillet 4 times. You cannot Get an easier thing to cook than a salmon fillet. It used to be great here but now the staff look as miserable as sin and are not in the least Intrested. No music no atmosphere. It says it all that apart from us and another couple it was empty the entire evening. People vote with their feet and they have. I had better evenings round Jimmy Saviles.

Exellent experience dining with family, especially the buffet menu was great and we got to taste a lot of different dishes which all tasted great to our taste. Exellent price and service, will be comming back.
Katri U — Google review
Dined as a group from the buffet menu. Food mostly decent for the price, bar one chicken meal where the meat had a very odd texture and didn't seem edible. Upon asking to return the food, been argued with by staff that it was the way it was meant to be. A member of our party is celiac and having advised the staff beforehand, been given a dish with soya sauce which contains flour. Five of us tasted the dish and it was irrefutably soya. Told by staff that it was oil. Alas, right now that diner is suffering their typical symptoms. Then came a third argument when we refused to pay for the two meals that were unworthy of serving. I feel that the management just couldn't care less about your experience and simply wanted you to come, pay and leave.

Just picked up a takeaway. Queried the price difference between my bill and the menu. Was told the menu was 10 years out of date! Still using it as they had printed too many. When I got home one of the dishes was the wrong one. Won't be going back.

(Translated by Google) We had lunch this afternoon. We showed up a little before 1 p.m., reluctantly we were able to sit on the terrace at 1 p.m. sharp. We asked for the aperitif menu in Spanish, English, French..... Impossible no aperitif.... We opted for a menu for 15 euros including the starter, the main course, the desert, a drink and the coffee or desert.. All the dishes were incredibly ordinary, the starters were homemade paella and for me stewed peas with a cut onion and 5/6 pieces of meat, bacon style. For the main course it was deviled chicken, small chicken breast placed on a dozen chips and drizzled with a super spicy sauce. What we didn't like was the waitress who stood behind us to quickly clear up and bring us the next dish... It all happened very quickly....Usually I'm very generous with tip, but frankly I didn't give anything...Totally not recommended..

Fantastic location overlooking the beach front next to the salt and mud baths. The menu is fantastic for both those looking for a light bite at lunch or a main dinner meal. The warm hospitality of Sergio adds to the charm, making every visit memorable.
This has always been our favourite restaurant in Lo Pagan, and we bring our friends here whenever we come to Mar Menor. A perfect location opposite the beach, great selection of food to suit everyone, and the host is really friendly. Today we tried the menu del dia, which was very good value for money. 😋

The club sandwich was drenched in a weird sauce and was flavourless. Something was definitely off in that sandwich. Even the fries were horrible, soggy and tasteless. Some of the worst quality food I’ve ever had. If they had a smaller menu and focused on increasing the quality it wouldn’t be so bad. I’m not one to usually complain about food but that made me sick. The best part of this meal was the water.

Had to go to the bar to order the food. After more than 30 min they told it will take at least 20 min more. We left without getting any food, After discussing If we just Pay for our drinks. Several other guests returned their food. Avoid this place! Answer to to owners reply: I have no interested in lying, but I think it would be fair to inform customers when ordering, that it will take more than an hour to make pizza and sandwich. But everyone is welcome to eat in your place, i just think they should know what to expect

A great terrace and DELICIOUS food. Highly recommend this Spanish staple which has overlooked the Mar Menor for 40 years. Sergio is a great host and we love coming here for the tranquil atmosphere, great views of the ocean and all the local life, and the tasty treats. Our favourites are the Revuelta Mallorquin (scrambled eggs with caramelised onions and black salt—possibly the best egg dish I have had in my life) and the perfectly seasoned calamari.
Ed W — Google review
Non existent service. Waited more than an hour for food and had to gave up and leave...
Urban S — Google review
Very disappointed. Calamari was insipid and undercooked followed then by sole that was over cooked and flavourless. It was such a shame but really not up to expectations. * Yes you brought them back whilst I was eating my main course which was over cooked. Calamari needs to be cooked through not raw on the inside. I was so embarrassed I wrapped it in a napkin and put it in the bin at home. ** I had stomach cramps all night and I have just vomited after trying one of them. *** I told the young waiter twice that the calamari was not cooked and he ignored me twice preferring to be all over the couple next to us.

Do not go here. They have changed owners and have truly horrible food. Nothing like the photos on Facebook they habe nothing on that menu and they dont know how to cook. This is a spirit of tapas in Spain! Small restaurant with the feel of "owner's mode" as it is run by a couple. So it is a family business. Simple menu, delicious food and straight from the heart customer service. The only downside is that the place is relatively small.

The red prawn croquettes and the boquerones a la plancha were tasty starters. We had a good bottle of red wine from their wine list at a reasonable price. All in all a pleasant way to spend a relaxing Saturday afternoon lunch.

Awful service… my pizza never came and the people there was so rude. They hung up on me 3 to 4 times nobody spoke English so I tried my best to speak Spanish and everyone said that my Spanish was awful and that they don’t understand me. I kept saying that my pizza would come in 5 to 10 minutes but never came and honestly it was totally bad service so don’t go here.

Awful service!!!!!!! We have ordered pizza during the opening time in the evening, the payment has been done, but the pizza hasn’t been delivered!!!! nobody answered, it is not allowed such relation to the clients, my children were hungry without food!!!!!!!!!

Pizza wasn't as good as it used to be nor as it should be, were made to wait 1h as usual waiting time and then the pizza didn't even arrive. We called 2 times and got put on hold after a conversation and then they hung up. Had to go there and ask about the pizza and it was at the place we ordered it to, around 45m too late. Pizza wasn't even cut and extra pineapple was missing. Terrible service and mediocre pizza

We stumbled across this little resort and wanted to love it. Unfortunately we went to the wrong restaurant and judging by the replies to the reviews I have read below, I am in no doubt that they will tell us that we are wrong. Note that my reviews aim to be 5-star unless we are given a reason not to be. Here, we were given those reasons. As you walk from the beach this restaurant is on a balcony overlooking the beach. The perfect location. As we went up the stairs the waitress offered us the perfect table on the balcony overlooking the beach. A lovely spot for dinner to watch the world go by. It took a while to get a first drink but we were on holiday and it happens. We ordered salmon and lasagne. The dishes arrived and I called the waitress back to the say that the salmon was hot on the outside but frozen/cold in the middle. The waitress dealt with it ok and our attitude was fairly relaxed, even though this is very risky and should not have happened. Plus, the dish is described on the menu as with a bernaise sauce, which is white/yellow. It had a light orange citrus sauce. The waitress tried to tell us that a bernaise sauce was orange. It is not. I then tasted the béchamel sauce around the lasagne on the plate and it was cold. Again, I called the waitress back and she explained that the cold béchamel sauce constrasts the heat of the hot lasagne. I explained that in 50 years of eating this dish, I have never experienced that and I felt like it was a fob-off. I asked for it to cooked/heated. The dishes came back. The same ones but now cooked. Poor. Very poor. Overall, I would not go back. A shame. Great location. Ok service, but stop trying to improvise answers to make up for the poor cooking. Very poor food.

Beautifull sight on mar menor 100 metres from the flamingos. Very good food. Daily menu for 15 euro is really good. Other specialities are top. Friendly service.

I went for a dinner with some friends, food was good just a bit disappointed with the prawns ( was expecting more crispy like tempura) but the rest was very tasty! Service a bit slow my husband asked for a bottle of water 3 times and never came, I needed to go to ask in the counter to get it! A part of this little things everything else was good! A place to comeback for sure.

Lovely food. Very accommodating they served my children’s pasta with only tomato sauce. Separate. Which they really enjoyed so much they want to return. I had chicken kavarma, ensalada vitamina which was very good. And my husband had a veggie burger very similar to a beyond meat burger. So that was also a hit. Our waiter max was very friendly and attentive. We will be back soon

Lovely restaurant, really tasty food, we went twice within a week whilst in Spain on a golfing trip. Would definitely recommend the meat skewer and the meat combo. Set in a great location too with stunning views

Visited the restaurant last night. It has a great view over Mar Menor, the atmosphere inside is cozy .Staff are polite and attentive. The food I had was delicious and a good size. Particularly recommended the calamari. Thank you for good evening!

Food was terrible I had a burger. Half way through I bit in to a lump of grissle size of a grape awful...... But I carried on and then got another. SO food was in my opinion terrible but the waiters and everything else seemed ok. There were other people all seemed ok with their food so maybe I just got unlucky. But if they are putting this crap in the blender it must get minced and it also says its not prime meat they use........ Would I go back YES would I have another burger NO WAY.

Burger King is a globally recognized fast-food chain that specializes in serving delicious grilled burgers, crispy fries, and creamy shakes. During my recent visit to La Manga, I had the pleasure of ordering from their convenient touchscreen menu, which made it easy for me despite my limited Spanish skills. The menu here even features an enticing selection of beer! On hot days, opting for the extra-large drink is definitely a refreshing choice.
Boom food was amazing ordered via screen which made it easy for myself as I don’t speak much Spanish. On par with the English menu just has the added beer on the menu oh and if you upsize to extra large drink it’s worth it when it’s hot ;)

Andra O — Google review
We just had 2 menus and 6 chicken nuggets. The chips were cold and the steak burger had too much sauce on it, we left it. Cost almost 18 euros. The gents toilets had no soap and no towels and no working hand drier. There were only 3 ppl, including us 2 in the restaurant. The staff were not busy, they were just lazy. Its not a patch on McDonalds. Wont be going again.

Small restaurant with unfriendly staff selling highest priced menus without questions or explanation about the ordered food. Tables were dirty and full of garbage. Toilets were dirty and no soap available. The food: biggest burger (9.50euro) looked ok, but was very dry. We won't return here.

(Translated by Google) Usual fast food pizzeria. The best, the size of the pizzas and, above all, the attention and kindness... The jump in prices according to pizza size is striking: from small to medium, almost double. But from the medium to the XXL, just €5 more... We ordered a Nico's pizza, they get the spicy touch with the busy and boring Tabasco, and the very salty salami. We also ordered the Nico's burger... Good size... Quality, average... Typical home delivery pizzeria that doesn't stand out, but delivers.

(Translated by Google) 08-15-2022 First of all, it seems understandable to me that you can't bring food from outside, but having to go hungry or thirsty because the staff doesn't know how to put even simple potatoes... And if I want to eat something that isn't from the center, I have to do it outside. of the establishment already seems ridiculous to me. It's okay that the kitchen is closed but not even simple covers can put it on. Secondly, it is assumed that there is a boss or a manager on site and if he is not there, there is a qualified person to ask and/or solve things, but there is nothing of that, on the contrary, the waiters have to pick up and call. on the phone to the boss for all kinds of questions because they can't stand up for themselves. Thirdly, and this is enough, but there are many more things that could be said.... For regular customer service, you ask a waiter and he doesn't know how to answer, you go back to see the colleague or he will call the boss for any type of management from asking if they give us snacks to asking if they can sit at certain tables without forgetting to ask if a 1-year-old child pays for the pool or not. I would return for the pool but certainly not for the treatment they give you.

Restaurante Casa Ratón is a delightful spot that captures the essence of casual dining with its inviting atmosphere and attentive service. While some may find the paella not to be the standout dish, the overall menu offers well-prepared options for everyone.

The festive atmosphere reaches the street and in season there is usually a line to sit down to eat, which sometimes becomes a bit overwhelming for those who are already sitting eating since there is not much space and it is not pleasant to have people standing next to you watching you eat, it would be appreciated if they organized it a little. We went here for a quick take out meal the first night when we had arrived at a nearby hotel after a long drive. The food is your standard kebab and fries/chips. Nothing to write home about but definitely not bad. We opted for the mixed kebab plate with fries. The service was good and the staff speaks English for those with limited Spanish.

No sauce, no spices, almost nothing.. french fries were soggy aswell. worst kebab i have ever gotten.

A lovely place to eat, very reasonably priced, with a good outside seating area- like a little park with trees, across the road from the San Pedro del Pinatar salt flats. It is a takeaway, so there is no table service, but the owner is very kind. I forgot my handbag and he looked after it until my husband returned a few hours later- what a relief! I was going to leave a positive review anyway, as the chips with feta, the kebab pizza (a meaty pizza) and the chicken wings were very nice, and especially the ice cold beer!

It is a local spot in the middle of nowhere. Everyone passing this place on the way to lo pagan has to try this kebab. I had kebab rollo i can recommend it to everybody. Call in and try.

It is very good place. All the dishes were very fresh, juicy and tasty. Toilet rooms are clean. I recommend!

Honestly amazing food and as cheap as you can imagine but obviously prices have raised by €1 since last time but those are just prices everywhere. Did wait in line for about 20 mins so keep in mind if you’re looking for something quick. It seems to get busy around 20:30 ish. Customer service was super nice always attentive and spoke and understood English with an English menu so no worries about explaining yourself 😂 Definitely a solid choice if you want something quick nice and even something to take back to the hotel room and watch squid game (definitely not what I did). So solid review 4 stars only because my feet hurt standing and was a bit overwhelming with a lot of people and a small building but nothing that needs improving:) hope this helps and enjoy!!

The falafel and baklava at Varto Kebab 3 are delicious, and the service is usually fast when the restaurant isn't busy. However, when it's crowded, there aren't enough waiters to handle all the tables. The kebabs are excellent and reasonably priced.
Great kebab, ok prices

Good falafel, nice baklava. The service quite quick when the place is not busy, but once the restaurant is full it's just to few waiters for so many tables....
