Fantastic little restaurant that delivers extremely well made dishes with clean yet intense taste profiles. The tasting set for 60 euro is well worth the money and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. If you are a foodie this is well worth the trip to experience.

Bad service, they don’t now what good service is, super slow had to ask for drinks several times. Beef was undercooked, took it back. They sliced the same sirloin in three, cooked it again and it was overcooked. Had to send it back again and then they were empty for beef.

This place is unbelievable. The tastiest food, great selection, all cooked perfectly, whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. The curries are 👌 so flavoursome. I dined at The Royal Nawaad Restaurant in Manchester, which is considered to be one of the best, but it has nothing on this restaurant. You know when your experience is something special,, when you don't want to stop eating, 6stars

This is one of the best Indian food restaurants in this area. Really fresh prepared food. Great and kind People who love making good food. And the prices are really good! They also serve other type of food like Mexican and Italian but for me the Indian food is the best!

Very hot day sitting by the beach having curry. Who would have thought it? Staff very polite and obliging. We'll be back.

We had two meals. Spaghetti with frutti de mare and a mexican enchilada with beef meat. Service was awfully slow with veeery long waiting times! We never received a requested spoon and the extra parmesan for the spaghetti. The spaghetti was mushy at its max. and there was far too little sea fruit in it. My girlfriend couldn't sleep all night because of troubles in her stomach. The enchilada was covered in indian street mayonnaise style, the beef meat was full of fat and tendons and all in all horrible to eat. Can't understand those good reviews at all.

Such an amazing Indian restaurant! The food was exellent and the waiters are professional and very thoughtful, checking if everything was ok every once in a while. They are also English-friendly which is easy if you are a tourist. Definitely would go back again!

Beautiful place, haven't eten there yet Just had some drinks

Very good portions, and a very nice atmosphere. We came here for our comida de empresa with friends and had an absolute blast! The rice was very good. They definitely need another bathroom added there somewhere. Unfortunately there is only one small toilet and you have to wait a very long time. But other than that the place is fantastic!

We came across this place due to many others being closed because of inclement weather. Overall it was a really nice surprise, and once we’d translated the menu we enjoyed some fabulous food and attentive staff.

The food was excellent but a chair broke and our table collapsed, and their was no real concern or apology. My partner was bruised in the incident. A free G&T wouldn't have gone amiss

Absolute quality food. The Octopus literally melted in your mouth as did the calamares. Great service. Certainly worth a visit.

I usually take pictures of my food before eating but this time I couldn't because the food looked so good and we were starving. To start, we were the only ones there because we arrived an hour before they closed but they welcomed us with a warm and inviting attitude. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with free mixed nuts and chips. We ordered the nachos, angry burger and the mi cubana burger. Everything was so good! The fries were fresh, portions large and flavor on point. Even the strawberry mojitos were larger than we anticipated and delicious! The service was super quick and accommodated all of our needs. When we asked for the bill, they offered us 6 free shots of different spanish liqueurs, which was a sweet way to end the night. We had a great conversation and the staff really made us feel like we were at home. I will definitely be returning here for a good, filling meal.

I had a dinner in Minengre with a couple of friends. The food was great, the location and atmosphere very modern and cozy with some bachata songs in the background and most importantly, the two waitresses attending us were extremely kind and professional. They also offered us a free shot of limoncello after dinner. Cherry on top, my friend is vegetarian and they got plenty of options for him too. We’ll come back for sure, 10 out of 10!

We had a great family lunch at MardeSal. The place is beautiful, pet friendly and the service was super fun. We started with some scallops, morcilla, croquetes mas and warm bread. We had fideuà and arroz negro for main. Some wine and got free house liquors as a treat in the end of our meal. We will be back for sure and super recommend.

Been here a few times. On this occasion I had the grilled Turbot. Fabulous. My granddaughter had a burger which was beautifully cooked and tasty. Not cheap but great setting, service and ambience. Highly recommended.

A rather special place with very attractive decor. Tables outside perfectly laid, top class. Staff very welcoming, attentive and hard working. Tasteful music background. And that's all said before the menu arrives, which presents a wide mouth watering choice.(better presentation on the website advised). Finally, food was great and monopole rioja vino blanco was excellent and very reasonably priced. Indeed all good value and a destination to be recommended.

Pedro is a amazing host, fabulous Spanish food with fish a specialty. We had the Gambas Roja cooked in sea salt, the cod with black garlic and entrecôte steak. For dessert we had the Manzana tarte, which was superb. We have been here many times and the food and service is always exceptional. Thanks again to Pedro for his hospitality and attention to detail.

Very lovely restaurant located nearby the port and salinas of San Pedro del Pinatar. Although some smaller dishes/tapas are a bit more expensive, the quality of the food and excellent service make it a place to come back when in the neighbourhood

We had a big family celebration here and it was beautifully catered for all (over 80's, children, teens and vegans alike). The staff were courteous and accommodating and in keeping with the elegance of the dining experience (available and helpful, but not over friendly). And the food was exceptional. And great value for the quality. Would definitely cone back, and recommend. Beautiful unusual location too.

Mar de sal is excellent! I got married here 5 years ago and we came back to celebrate again. They haven't missed a beat. Excellent location, incredible food and service. The manager, Antonio, even remembered my wife's name and face after all this time and came to say hello

We heard that this was one of the better Italian restaurants in the area, but were disappointed. The pasta’s were okay, not great and with too much cream. The pizza is the smallest I have ever had, unless you would order a smaller one for a child (bambino). I ordered a pizza prosciutto and asked if it really was with prosciutto ham and not cooked ham. They assured me it was, but when I got the pizza it was cooked ham anyway? If I had known I would have ordered a different pizza. The water is € 2,80 for half a liter, which is more than any other restaurant in the area asks. The staff is friendly, so that is why I am giving three stars, but I cannot recommend this place…

Always beautiful food in a great family run restaurant. Lasagna and Canaloni are to die for, but the baked cod is also not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Wonderful owner. They are so kind, professional service, they care a lot about their customers and they give the extra mile. First time in a long time I've eaten pizza like that. The dough is so soft, it's not tough even when it gets cold. It tasted so good and i wanted more. I will go back there again. Strongly recommend!!!

Wow just wow it was a good place to stay but if only i were to figure out that the ignorant cleaners had not cleaned a disguting deficated waste on my bed sheets. I wanted to leave. But the atmosphere and people around were great fun and very friendly the service was alright and did not please me the food however was absolutely disgusting i found blades of hair in my chicken tika.DISGRACEFUL. Absolutely would not recommend

Excellent position opposite the boat club and beach. The service was good but inside space was a bit of a squeeze, we were a bit close to the people next to us. Outside space was better set up with plenty of room between tables. The food was okay and the fish for sharing didn’t have much meat on it, it was mostly bones and we thought (as per other comments) that it was not good value for money at 40 Euro. I see from JOSE LUIS MARTINEZ 1 star comment below that they were also caught out by the Gallo Pedro dish except they were smart enough to challenge the bill, as we didn’t see the price, so that restaurant owes us 20 Euro, I include Jose Luis bill below mine. My total bill was almost 72 Euro, that’s what happens when you take the waiter recommendation without checking the price. We won’t eat here again. I have added the two bills in the photos which shows we were ripped off be very careful when you eat here.

No air-conditioning in middle of August. The waitress was very snappy and when i am paying good money, 190€ , i expected better service but he ho you cant buy class, ive had better service when in a cafe ordering cafe con leche. The paella was tasteless with 2 prawns and 1 piece of meat per person. When the waitress finally asked if everything was ok and we said no ot isnt, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Although we booked an inside table expecting to eat in air conditioned comfort, it was hotter inside than out, simply unbearable

Raw chicken empanada served to my 11 year old nephew , which they took from us and recooked , rather than making a fresh one . the waiter bumped my husband on the back of the head twice serving the table behind us which was far too close . My starter was practically thrown on the opposite side of the table to where I was sitting . All in , not a good experience, won’t be back .

My family had heard good things about this restaurant and unfortunately this place was a complete utter let down. I'm not sure what the problem was with the staff but it needs a serious check. I'll start from the beginning and make my way down. Service took so long for anything, they don't pay attention to their tables at all it seemed. We'd try flag them down several times but they'd only look at the table they were at then hurriedly leave, there was several times I made eye contact with the servers and waved them down politely and they'd just ignore me or my parents. They gave us drinks and bread, the bread seemed to be going stale it was not a nice crunchy bread but stiff and felt like it was cut and left out for ages. About drinks as well, my father ordered a Coca-Cola, saying it a couple times to the server, the server then brought back Pepsi and without confirming, poured the drink hurriedly into my father's glass. This was already quite annoying, as if you don't have Cola, say it, as he hates Pepsi. The server said they didn't have Cola, so me and my dad switched drinks. But later into the meal, another server got my dad Cola, so there was Cola and that server lied to is which is incredibly rude and annoying. We ordered Calimari, Baby Squid and Paella. Warning you that the Paella will take over 30 minutes to be ready, so if you're in a rush like we were, don't order it. The baby squid was not very baby. I love baby squid so I was really looking forward to having some, as I love hunting for the best. This had to be on the top 3 for the worst I've had and I hate to be rude. Since the baby squid weren't very young the texture was completely different, as well they had a lot of ink which make the taste significantly different. I also had to add a lot of salt which didn't help, I couldn't eat it at all and had to spit it out. It was also bathed in oil. The Calimari was actually pretty good, I didn't have much because my parents love to drench it in lemon, but unfortunately, one piece had a large string of steel wool in it, clearly on the surface. It makes me worry how careful they are with these things if they can't see a glaringly obvious gray piece of shining metal. The Paella was really good according to my parents, I don't like it so no comment on this part from me. Only good things about this place are prices, decor and the amount of comfortable space between the tables. I would not go here again, it was incredibly disappointing and really upsetting for me as this was my last day in Spain, I was looking forward to some good baby squid. I apologise for any rudeness in my review this time, the feeling I had leaving this place really made me upset.

Our first time to go there and we will be back for sure. Really lovely and friendly staff, who are happy to recommend dishes. Great wines and the food is fabulous. Our fish dishes were amazing. Saw some other great dishes going to other tables and the waiter kindly told us what they were. So we will be back to sample more delicious food. It has a great atmosphere too.

Exceptional places with great burgers. The place is owned by a British couple, they both work as a cook and waiter respectively. Very friendly atmosphere and the owner is happy to introduce the menu options personally. Great choice of wine. Kids menu options available.

Gave this 5 stars but worth way way more. Celebrated my sister in laws birthday there yesterday. Chris's knowledge of the homemade food he serves and sources was brilliant. We loved all the dishes we tried. He is also very knowledgeable on the local wines that he serves and the recommendations he gave us were superb. Although not a vegetarian, his vegetarian menu was appealing and well worth looking at. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already thinking of our next one.

Lunch for the 3 of us consisted of cod fishcake, Mexican burger and wild boar burger. All freshly cooked and tasted great. Lovely setting overlooking the marina, good service and the champagne lemon sorbet to finish was delicious. It's been a couple of years since our first visit, but we will be going back much more often in future.

Amazing restaurant, food, owners and place!!! Everything homemade, great quality, fresh and tasty! Great selection of glutenfree dishes, desserts, drinks, different meats and also vegan. Good children's menu. You sit in a nice marina. Excellent service. They have wine and food tastings in the summer. Open from the end of March to the end of November. I really recommend you to go here!

Lovely friendly owners and very helpful. The food was fantastic, and desserts are all home made. If you're not sure of which wine to choose, ask the owner and he will recommend something from their superb collection. Will most definitely be back again.

I recently visited this restaurant, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The food was terrible, lacking quality, which led us to leave without even touching our meal. More concerning was the staff's complete disregard for food allergy requests, making it a very dangerous place for anyone with dietary restrictions. This was once an excellent restaurant known for its great atmosphere, but it seems to have declined significantly, possibly due to new management. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment until improvements are made.

Wanted to call so tonight a 35min walk and was this pizza worth it, fantastic and so authentic, just off the park of nations Torrevieja the house wine very good but a little expensive, having said that I will definitely be returning to have the pasta😂😂😂

Unhygienic place when I was there I saw a dead cockroach next to our table plus when I went to the toilet I saw two cockroaches. My two friends orderd a lobster and it wasn't fresh and it didn't taste good, I will not recommend this place even the atmosphere inside the restaurant I looks like it's still stuck in the 90s

Had a delicious meal here. Food was lovely and fresh. Had the chicken shashlik which was served sizzling and with a really nice sauce on the side. Other meal was Lamb Rogan Josh which was beautifully spiced. Service was friendly and very attentive. Will be coming back time and time again I'm sure.

My husband and I enjoyed the food at this restaurant 2 days ago. We love Indian food and found the Red Rose did not disappoint. The food was delicious and authentic. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. We will certainly be back again very soon.

A very cultural and authentic Spanish experience in San Pedro del Pinatar. The atmosphere is lively and truly Murcian in spirit, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying fresh seafood by the sea. The food gave me a lot of pleasure – perfectly fried fish, fresh flavors, and generous portions. Tip: don’t miss the grilled green peppers (pimientos asados) – they go wonderfully with a cold local beer (alcoholic or non-alcoholic, both are excellent quality). The combination of food, setting, and relaxed seaside vibe makes this place very special. Highly recommended if you want to taste real Spanish coastal culture in a simple but unforgettable way

1/2 kg of mixed seafood You go inside and select what you want , we had fried calamari, baby squid,prawns and fish pieces they then placed it on a plater and we ate it out side , table very clean we also got drinks from the bar , try it , quick and tasty and excellent value

Worst meal ever. Cold rubber bands fried would taste better. Awful place. Stay away. Save your money and spend in better places. Tourist garbage on a plate served here for expensive money. Cold and chewy guaranteed

Today we visited for the second time, I always worry in case it is not as good as I remember, i was so pleased that it was every bit as good as before, the fish is amazing fresh and delicious and to be sitting lookng over the Mar Menor was fabulous. The chef obviously knows their stuff but I have to give a special mention to the two lovely young men who ensured the shade was just right for me - bless them I was also impressed with the Covid precautions in place Thank you for a lovely lunch

Stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday night. The area is typically crowded during lunch however was unusually quiet during our visit with only few restaurants open. It was a beautiful coincidence that we decided to try this restaurant out because the food exceeded our expectations. Had a caesar salad, variety of empanada and 2 different types of steak. Each and every one of it was delicious, especially the chimmicuri sauce that came with the steak truly authentic Argentinian! There were total 4 of us and we had beers too, bill came up to an average 20 euros each which was pretty decent. Would recommend anyone looking for somewhere cosy with good Argentinian cuisine. Their pizzas from the next table also smelt good!

Very disappointing! The empenadas were under cooked and doughy, the 15€ seafood spaghetti was over cooked and tasteless as if the sauce was just watered down pizza tomato sauce. Looked nothing like the picture posted on social media. I only had one prawn in my portion and my husband only one mussel in his. 4.50€ for a bottle of sparkling mineral water!! Once the mains were served, we didn't see the waiters again and paid our bill with all the plates in the table. We saw plenty of people leaving big doughy pizza crusts on their plates. Absolutely fabulous. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We had chicken ceser salad to start with, one of the best ceser salads we have had. My main course was, beef rib and it was cooked to perfection and it was huge. Definitely recommend. 10/10.

Apologies for all of the blood on my picture but that's just how I like my steak :) First time we've been here, the marina location is lovely and this place was a total gem! I spoke in terrible broken Spanish, the chap serving us politely smiled and responded in perfect English. I do try tho! The food here was perfect, we just had a main each but couldn't fault anything about the experience. We'll definitely be back, thank you for a lovely dinner!

We previously had a booking here but unfortunately had to cancel, promising we would return. It didn't disappoint, the staff were lovely and the food excellent. We chose the Argentinian entrecote which was served simply with roasted potatoes and vegetables with a chimi churri dressing. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium and fell apart. Overall a great restaurant with a varied cuisine to suit all tastes. We shall return.

The food was good. The service was more than okay. The only minor thing is my food was not so warm anymore when served but could have something to do with the fact we were with 6 people and all with a different dish 🤷🏻‍♀️so probably hard on the chef. We had a very pleasant memorable evening! We would go back if the opportunity rises.

This is a great restaurant with an extensive Spanish Menu but with interesting twists. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a great wine selection, all at a sensible price. Def recommend the Pulpo, Fried Aubergine and Honey, verduras, prawns. Highly recommended.

Fresh, traditional Spanish food. This time we sat at the bar. Wonderful service. We had tapas and shared a main dish. Plenty of food for two. I highly recommend it if you are in the surrounding area.

Food was good. Service a mixed bag ranging from the male middle age waiters who was outright rude n hostile compared to the lovely female young waitress. Loved the food. But won’t go back.

After sitting outside once before and getting ignored mostly we decided to try again and had two great meals since. Today after ordering a cod dish it came cold and undercooked. Sent it back and it returned in the same condition. Very small cod portion. We told them not to try a third time but they brought it back again. We told them to take it away. Am I wrong in thinking two tries is enough for a portion of birds eye cod fillet? Non smiling and abrupt service as though we're getting in the way. Anyway...the bill came including €32 for the two portions. Spoke to manager who suggested they'd tried their best snd didn't understand the problem. Told him I wasn't paying for that part if the bill. He finally accepted that but told me I had a lot of cheek and put his hand on my shoulder. Ugh! Plenty of options around so won't be going back...how hard is it to cook a cod fillet well and smile whilst delivering it? Too hard for them apparently

Between 4 of us we had 2 types of paellas. One was a bit too salty but otherwise the food was good and so was the service. The decor inside was comfortable and it really felt like we were in a traditional spanish restaurant.

Brought my family here for lunch in 2019 and late dinner in 2020. It's very much a Spanish restaurant. They are incredibly welcoming and friendly including allergy concerns. Recommend reserving a table on advance. It is popular! However they have always accommodated my last minute appearance. Large terrace, huge inner dining area.

Update - Ive been coming here for many years, my first ever review being 6 years ago and can say the place has seen some mayor changes, but overall its much better now. Food is quite premium and service is good. They play live music every Thursday night and the ambience is quite nice. Defenitely do suggest stopping by if you are near the area.

My new favourite tapas restaurant. Old fashioned in the way that they have lots of different tapas to choose from on display. Excellent English is spoken by the staff and the owner who also is a renown jazz and rock musician. Live concerts will be held, he told us, every Thursday night from 21.30 to midnight from 6 June to the end of August, in their large outdoor patio. See you there! Y gracias José!

Decent taste but I got a kid size pizza, 22cm in diameter. Very expensive compare to what you get. My son took the pasta and that was a very small potion as well. They are very friendly but it is for people that eats very little.

Pizzas are ok but not too big. Pasta very poor and seemed like it had been reheated as was really pasty. When we told the waiter, he said that was the way it was.They still charged full price even though it was inebible.

Lovely place to sit opposite the beach front. There are tables at the front on the pavement by the beach, or inside and outside the bar itself. Service is really good and friendly. They regularly bring out different tapas to try with our drinks which are always tasty. Even in winter this bar is usually quite busy due to its popularity but we've always been able to get a table. In the summer we book on a weekend as it gets busier then.

We have visited frequently at La Barra and been very satisfied so far. Last Saturday went again and it was a big disappointment. Firstly, we couldn´t sit at the free table, which had five chairs, the waiter told, it is reserved for the groups of 5 people only! Several pairs game and left after this same message during we waited our drinks and food at the bar table we got permision to sit. We ordered house tapas selection of 9 tapas as many times before. The selection (when it finally came) contained 3 portions of pork in different sauces, 1 of roasted pork rind, 2 of pork sausage, 1 of pork meat balls, 1 mushrooms with bacon and 1 cup of russian salad. No seafood, olives or any salad like always before, that set was very heavy and stodgy. There was only one waiter who was very friendly and tried to do her best. We are missing the good old La Barra, hopefully it comes back some day, until then we`ll choose some other place at the paseo.

My fish, dorado, was first class. Fresh and perfectly cooked. Beautiful view, good house wine...what more would one need...

We stumbled on this restaurant with a vast menu and very reasonably priced. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. It is not a very fancy place, pretty dark and the chairs are not comfortable enough to stay for a longer time. Maybe in summertime it is better on the terrace. I would suggest having lunch here instead of dinner.

After we discovered this restaurant we ate here 3 times in less than one week! Everything was just so good! I would love to have such a good Asian restaurant in Belgium too.

This Chinese is the worst Chinese I have ever eaten at. The food is cold, and not fresh, if you say until it is cold they feel with their finger if it is correct, and they start arguing, in the end you get it new and you just know until it comes from the microwave. The bami is not fresh, and they are also expensive.

If you want a relaxing meal/time forget this place. The staff will stand on duty and stare at you while you eat making you feel uncomfortable. A real shame because the food is good although I don't understand hot food being served on cold dishes and plates.

The majority of Chinese restaurants in Spain (in my experience) are pretty lousy, even in the cities. The food here is the same type but the quality is a big step up. The ingredients, including the meat, are much better and the sauces are richer in flavour. The place seems to do a lot of business too, always a good sign.

Got an real good Menu del Dia. Duck is tasty and not dry. Quality and quantity is good. The noodles were very well. Friendly staff. Good value for your money. Recommended.

Went here yesterday for our monthly Ladies Lunch 11 people the restaurant was full but still the food arrived for all of us hot and beautifully cooked and great quality I had salad then home cooked ham off the bone with bread then minute steak with an egg and French fries then chocolate tart to finish and a small beer 13 euros The staff were lovely and so friendly can not recommend enough

I do recommend this one. Great food! Very good value for money. Tottaly worth it! Be prepared for a noisy atmosphere with people talking quite loud. The waiters are friendly. But, the service is not fast at all.

Had the daily menu for 11€. Big salad and bread to start. Large starter and good sized main course of decent quality. No room for desert so we finished off with coffee. Looked after by John who was super friendly and always smiling. Well worth another visit.

This is a standard for us. Great traditional experience. Good food, quick service and once you get to know the regular staff a good chat is always on the menu. The products they sell outstanding as they produce it and the prices very good. Their tapas is good as well and good selection. My personal favorite the lamb chops! Weekends you’d better book to get a seat.

Great food, nice staff, reasonable price

4 of us visited for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted immediately on arrival and shown to our table. The service and attention were 1st class. The menu is via a QR code accessed by your mobile phone with photos to show what each option is too. The meal came out quickly and all together at the same time, one member of our group asked for his to be cooked a little bit more and this was sorted without hesitation. The food was amazing, the flavour in the steak was like something I've never tasted before. 3 of us opted for the Beef Fore Rib steak whilst the 4th chose a pork steak. No one was disappointed. 4 meals, 1 round of drinks plus a bottle of house red came to €150. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great steak with top service in a lovely atmosphere.

What a fantastic find! We stumbled across Tabula Brasa while exploring the area and couldn't have been luckier. Our first visit with four of us turned into a memorable evening - everyone ordered steaks which were absolutely exceptional, cooked to perfection. The place impressed us so much that two of us returned a few days later to try their salmon, which was equally amazing, served with perfectly prepared vegetables. The house wine is excellent and incredibly reasonable, and the staff really make you feel welcome with their friendly, attentive service. Not just attentive but genuinely warm and helpful. Such great value for the quality of food and service - this place seriously punches above its weight and terrific value. Just a short walk from where we were staying, it became our favourite local spot. Can't wait to return on our next visit!

Omg the best tasting steaks ive ever had. Premium grill for 3 ordered came with chips and mini vegetable kebabs what with the breaded steak nibbles to begin with stunning. Superb.. heavenly

Having had a holiday home close by for nearly 20 years I can't believe I have never been here before. What a superb buffet with a wide range of Spanish cuisine. Welcomed with a smile and top notch food at an excellent price. Will now be a regular customer.

Great meal at Amigo’s after watching live football at Pinatar Arena. Full English was excellent, Sandwich too, Tuna Salad was massive. All very good.

I came here with my sons for a few drinks whilst staying for a long weekend to watch some football. We found the landlord and his wife a really friendly couple who made a bee line to talk to us and feel welcome. The sports on offer was great, golf, rugby, football, tennis, all on separate screens. There’s indoor and outdoor seating which can easily accommodate 100 people. Whilst we didn’t eat, the food looked and smelt lovely, especially the Sunday dinner (which I wished we’d had!!) I’d definitely recommend it for a warm and friendly atmosphere, great selection of drinks and delicious food.

On thursday we stopped by to have a drink. It was an okay experience, but doesn’t felt staff wanted to help us, but still we got our order. We saw an advertisment about breakfast on saturday. So we went today again. Me and my mate said hello to them when we walked in. The staff was again not pleasing. We sat down and waited for like 20-30 minutes. Nobody wanted to serve us. Fusion of all (most) east food styles, also sushi. Great and attentive staff! Prices are fair but not cheap, except for the menu del dia.

Decided to try out this restaurant as it typically crowded during lunch on weekends so do be sure to make a reservation in advance to not be disappointed. The interior is nicely done, with modern furnitures and lightings though the table seating for 5 could get a little tight. We were 4 adults + 1 child so we ordered a sushi platter along with some gyozas, fried noodles, roasted duck and a bowl of Tom Yam soup for sharing. The fried noodles was by far one of the best we have had in awhile however everything else was rather mediocre (nothing special). The Tom Yam soup also tasted abit off in the sense that you could taste a strong presence of vinegar (though it was our poor choice as one should never order Thai from a Chinese place). To end our meal, we also ordered Asiatico which was served in a tall glass (same type of glass used for beer) which we found odd cos the ratio was way off with amount of coffee superseding liquor /condensed milk. Also hope the management would consider investing in proper glasses with holder as it was a struggle to drink hot beverage from tall beer glass. That being said we'd love to come back again to try the other available Chinese food (and would perhaps suggest others to order those instead of sushi / Tom Yam soup). Price was party reasonable at approximately average €20-25 per pax.

I had ordered tiramisu, but it was still frozen. They placed it straight from the freezer, still in its packaging, onto the table. Worst dessert ever. The restaurant looks nice.

First time visiting this restaurant and will be my last. The service was shocking, the waitress and waiter were rude and disinterested. Starters came intermittently, I had mine finished by the time the others came there were five in the party. Table wasn't cleared and the mains began to arrive firstly mine which was a sizzling beef with noodles, the beef came and the noodles ten mins later and literally thrown in front of me the other mains followed in similar fashion, all were cold. The waitress when we told her took it as a personal insult that we complained. Eventually the manageress came down and said she would sort it out but all she did was bring back the same plates of food Luke warm and with the same finesse as a bull in a china shop. As a dining experience and it was an experience it has to be one of the most horrendous dinning experience I have ever experienced. I would advise anyone thinking of eating in this establishment to go next door to pepco and buy a bar of chocolate

Delicious food including plant based dumplings alas, as they're not that common. The service is very good. However, we had no choice but to sit outside, as they put the aircon on full blast inside. The prices are a bit deer but it's to be expected given the location in the harbour and being a gourmet restaurant. Vegan options 🌱 include edamame, vegetable dumplings and cucumber 🥒 and avocado 🥑 sushi 🍣.

I want to start with the good, the food was MARVELOUS bravo, quality, flavor, etc very nice 11/10 Unfortunately one of the waiters we had "Eli/ Elliot" (the one in glasses) was quite bad mannered he made the experience unpleasant and was bitter sweet, we left happy with the food but bad service. We had another girl super lovely, was kind, but the man everytime he came to the table didn't seem like he enjoyed being there, very unpleasant way of treating us. I encourage the owner to look into the service.

I have been on holiday to this location five times in my life. The food and drinks, service, and atmosphere at Chiringuito Castilo has always been top notch and never failed to disappoint. Staff are very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Service is quick and easy. Atmosphere is great, very relaxed during the day, and exciting yet comfortable at night. Five stars all over. Perfect place to get some tasty breakfast, wash the salt out of the mouth after swimming, and meet fantastic people at night.

We have been several times to chiringuito calisto over four visits. Every visit has been a delight , relaxing, friendly, good range of food. This includes sandwiches, tapas, grill meals and salads.

We had a gorgeous seafood paella, but make sure you're prepared to wait for it. But worth it, trust me.

Terrific bar. Stopped for a drink at the halfway point of a 20,000 step walk. The refreshing chilled beer was exceptional. Great shade area. Clean tables, lots of staff on hand. The owner acknowledged us and we were made to feel very welcome even though we only sort a small amount. The place has a great vibe with locals enjoying a late lunch. Fantastic atmosphere. Been coming here for years, but after last night we won't return. They had to recook a salmon fillet 4 times. You cannot Get an easier thing to cook than a salmon fillet. It used to be great here but now the staff look as miserable as sin and are not in the least Intrested. No music no atmosphere. It says it all that apart from us and another couple it was empty the entire evening. People vote with their feet and they have. I had better evenings round Jimmy Saviles.

Upon asking to return the food, been argued with by staff that it was the way it was meant to be. A member of our party is celiac and having advised the staff beforehand, been given a dish with soya sauce which contains flour. Five of us tasted the dish and it was irrefutably soya. Told by staff that it was oil. Alas, right now that diner is suffering their typical symptoms. Then came a third argument when we refused to pay for the two meals that were unworthy of serving. I feel that the management just couldn't care less about your experience and simply wanted you to come, pay and leave.

Just picked up a takeaway. Queried the price difference between my bill and the menu. Was told the menu was 10 years out of date! Still using it as they had printed too many. When I got home one of the dishes was the wrong one. Won't be going back.

Fantastic location overlooking the beach front next to the salt and mud baths. The menu is fantastic for both those looking for a light bite at lunch or a main dinner meal. All the Indian dish favourites are present but we went for the fajitas which were exceptionally tasty and more than filling with the portion size! We also got a large portion of chips that fed the 5 of us easily and excellent value! Lovely beer and uncomplicated drinks menu. Service was excellent as the server was very attentive and always polite plus smiling! We were the only ones sat outside but would 100% come back and wouldn’t let the lack of people outdid influence your decision as we were served our drinks and food so fast!

A great terrace and DELICIOUS food. Highly recommend this Spanish staple which has overlooked the Mar Menor for 40 years. Sergio is a great host and we love coming here for the tranquil atmosphere, great views of the ocean and all the local life, and the tasty treats. Our favourites are the Revuelta Mallorquin (scrambled eggs with caramelised onions and black salt—possibly the best egg dish I have had in my life) and the perfectly seasoned calamari.

Awful service… my pizza never came and the people there was so rude.
