The 12 best breakfast and brunch in Canakkale

Located in downtown Canakkale, this restaurant is only a couple of minutes walk from the waterfront. There is an English menu available via a QR code. Some staff speak English. We went here for a group lunch and the food seemed to be hit and miss. Some were happy with their meal, but others were not. The restaurant was able to accommodate a large group easily.

The menu is a pdf without English translations. One has to try to find out what the menu. The food is exceptional though! It came out fast and tastes great. Would recommend❤

It was enough for to be fully sated four people. Cheeses, sausages, eggs etc. were delicious and it's well-priced

Amazing Turkish breakfast and great service. We went their Sunday morning, and thank God there was seating available for our group of 5. The breakfast was great, we had the supreme kahvalti, karişik menemen, and sucuklu menemen on the side too. It was more than enough. The chef even gave everyone around complementary mini croissants; I can't describe how delicious they are. Highly recommend Muhitt kahvalti/breakfast. p.s, since we went early in the morning, we were seating immediately, I would advise calling in advance if you go there during busy times.

Stunning view of the Dardanelle. Especially for breakfast lovers. Do NOT forget to make a reservation if you are visiting busy hours to avoid long waiting time. (In Turkey, breakfast is a feast, no matter if it is a weekday or a weekend. So you may never guess when the other customers who are already having their breakfast will decide to leave) My favorites were the cheese wrapped pastrami skewers and Muhlama. Particularly the best Muhlama that I have ever tasted, maybe because of the butter they use or the cheese, I couldn't decide. Sunny side up eggs with sucuk was also good but I would have liked it if it were a little bit more cooked. Staff was extra attentive and never made you wait for your tea refill. They provide bottomless tea service if you get the set breakfast meal.

Great Turkish breakfast. Many different options to choose from. If you’re lucky enough to be there when they are making a fresh batch of bread/bagels, they will bring them over to you to take straight from the baking sheet. Attentive service, too.

Today we stopped by for a drink and had a bottle of wine at this nice place. The prices are really affordable and in fact quite cheap for such a place with that amazing view. Just for the record, we paid only a hundred for the wine. They also offer accommodation and the rooms also overlook the fantastic sea view. The room rates are about ₺400-500. You can also go there for breakfast or enjoy their rakı-meze service. Nice and friendly people btw. Definitely worth a visit👍

This place is adorable, a GORGEOUS view and delicious food. The family that runs the BnB seems very kind. We stayed because it's only 15 minutes from Troy, it was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay again- for longer next time!

I arrived later than expected to Çanakkale and after checking in, I wanted to have a quick bite at a place nearest to my hotel. Food portions were great and taste was good too. Price point was really good as well in spite being in front of the sea. I was really impressed by the service and honesty of the people. As I was really tired, I had handed a 50 euro note instead of 50 lira. I walked away just as soon as I handed over the note as I didn't mind leaving the change as a tip. The old man located me at my hotel and talked to the hotel receptionist to let me know that I made a mistake with the cash and asked me to return to take back the 50 euros as it was too much to give. All the food has photos so even though we can’t speak Turkish it was very easy to see what we wanted to eat! Definitely recommend for foreigners! The staff were also very friendly! We ate some delicious grilled chicken wings and a cheese bread dish. Recommend both.
