A very much nice place. Entrance is only 2 liras, you can use the bus card to go in. The place is nice and clean and the music playing all the time was very nice too. Walking inside was organised as well, you need to follow the foot signs on the ground to walk through it. The only problem was that all instructions were in Turkish language only.

The Bursa Grand Mosque, also known as the Ulu Mosque, is a magnificent and ornate structure built in 1399 by Ottoman Sultan Bayezid. This Seljuk-style mosque features 20 domes and two towering minarets, making it a dominant and enduring symbol of Bursa.

🕌 A must-see place in Bursa! Ulu Cami (Grand Mosque) is one of the finest examples of early Ottoman architecture. The atmosphere inside is peaceful, and the historical details are truly impressive. A perfect spot to take photos and feel the spirit of history.
Медина Н — Google review
The Ulu Cami Mosque is an absolute must-see! If you visit Bursa, this magnificent mosque should definitely be on your list. It was commissioned by Sultan Bayezid I after his victory at the Battle of Nicopolis in 1396 and completed around 1399. The mosque was designed by the famous architect Ali Neccar, and it stands as one of the finest examples of early Ottoman architecture. Built in the Seljuk multi-dome style, it features 20 domes supported by massive pillars, a design that symbolically reflects the Sultan’s vow to build twenty mosques, which he instead fulfilled by constructing one grand mosque with twenty domes. As its name suggests, the “Great Mosque” is truly majestic, richly decorated with intricate calligraphy, geometric motifs, and a central fountain used for ablution. Ulu Cami marks an important transition between the Seljuk and classical Ottoman styles, blending simplicity, symmetry, and spiritual harmony.

The grand mosque of Bursa is beautiful, it’s old, it’s reminiscent of old Islamic architecture, its calligraphy is one to see, and the cover of the Holy Kaaba in Mecca is just icing on an already very beautified cake

Koza Han, also known as Cocoon Han, is a historic silk market with stunning Ottoman-era architecture and a wide range of retailers. This multilevel han was built at the end of the 15th century by architect Abdul Ula Bin Pulad Shah under the orders of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II. The han served as an inn for merchants and consists of two courtyards, barns, warehouses, and 95 rooms.
Beautiful building. Courtyard offered a serene place for a cup of tea. Bazaar style shopping to be had around the outside of building. Inside had lil shops with silk scarves and delicates. Fresh fruits and veggies galore a lil further down. Enjoyed this explorer day alot!
Hana S — Google review
Visiting friends in Bursa for the Adha holiday, I was invited, among other places, to experience the special atmosphere of this charming place, the Koza Han, where people flock from various places in Turkey and around the city. It’s a huge courtyard where cafés and other shops abound, each offering their unique coffee flavor, sweets or food. We settled in one corner overlooking the yard, and waited patiently for what proved to be the best Turkish coffee I’ve tasted to date: Gözde kahve (favorite coffee). What makes it unique is the way it’s prepared slowly over coal, the way one would barbecue. The server brought the trays carrying the empty cups (each of a different color), as well as water and loukoum, a local tradition, which I find endearing. Later, when the coffee was ready, he brought each separately in a copper coffee pot, made differently to meet each of our tastes (sweet, black, half sugar). Just sitting there and observing the crowd around gives one a sense of serenity and calm, something we needed at the end of a very busy and tiring day. People sitting and chatting, others mulling around, the smell of coffee brewing hanging in the air, it’s all a pleasure one has to experience. I would definitely recommend for everyone who gets the chance to enjoy 😊 this treat.
Maha M — Google review
It might be a historical place. But it is occupied by cafes. And everyone smokes here. You can feel vibe of smoking heaven. If there are not many cafes here like now, it would be much beautiful and great place than now.
Mothusi — Google review
Beautiful place with shops specialized in different things but mostly silk. Ambient is nice. There is very small masjid in the middle from 2hich you can take more panoramic pics and videos fir the place. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because only being small but there several other Han beside it so you can walk for longer time and see other shops but most importantly enjoy the sepcial vibe there.
Sherif M — Google review
Koza Han is a beautiful historical place in the heart of Bursa. The atmosphere is peaceful, full of history, and surrounded by lovely shops and cafés. You can enjoy Turkish tea under the trees and feel the spirit of the old Silk Road.
Nafise S — Google review
A very cute inn with a tiny mosque in the middle, inside there are shops selling mostly textile products, and there are also small cafes where you can drink tea and coffee.

The Irgandi Bridge, constructed during the Ottoman era in 1442, is a significant historical landmark in Bursa. It served as a commercial hub with an Ottoman bazaar on top and storage spaces within its main structure. The bridge is adorned with traditional arts and crafts outlets, offering visitors a glimpse of artisans at work. Its yellow bazaar atop the ancient stone bridge makes it a unique sight in Turkey.

The Green Tomb, also known as Yesil Turbe, is a magnificent mausoleum located in Bursa, Turkey. Built in 1421 for Sultan Mehmed, it features an ornate octagonal shape made of marble and green tiles. Adjacent to the impressive Green Mosque, this site showcases intricate Ottoman architecture and vibrant tilework. Commissioned by Sultan Mehmet Celebi in 1419, the tomb captures the transition from Persian to Ottoman architectural styles.
Both the cami and the türbesi are beautiful art work , calligraphy and glass work. One of the many beautiful mosques in Bursa.
Fozia R — Google review
This tomb belongs to Mehmet Çelebi Sultan, one of the sultans of the Ottoman empire. There are a few other tombs that belong to the sons and daughters of the sultan. The architecture of this tomb complex reflects Ottoman style. As it is a holy place, dressing modestly is recommended.
Reza N — Google review
The Green Tomb is renowned for its extraordinary and stunning decoration, both inside and out. Its walls are adorned with beautifully crafted tiles that showcase intricate designs and vibrant colors, enhancing its visual appeal. The tomb is the final resting place of Mehmed I, the fifth Ottoman Sultan. It was built by his son and successor, Mehmed II, who decided to lavish more decoration on it than most other structures of the time. Ideally located nearby, both the Green Mosque and the Green Tomb are easily accessible, making them perfect to visit together. Their close proximity offers visitors a seamless opportunity to explore two of Bursa’s most treasured Ottoman landmarks.

💚The Green Tomb (Yeşil Türbe) is one of Bursa’s most iconic landmarks and the resting place of Sultan Mehmed I, who reunited the Ottoman Empire after a civil war. The turquoise and emerald tiles covering the exterior are breathtaking and symbolize peace and heaven. Inside, the fine calligraphy and geometric patterns reflect early Ottoman art and Persian influence. The area is quiet, clean, and beautifully maintained. It’s located just next to the Green Mosque, making both easy to visit together.

The Green Tomb (Yeşil Türbe) in Bursa is a stunning piece of early Ottoman architecture and a true symbol of peace and elegance. Built in 1421 for Sultan Mehmed I, the mausoleum is beautifully decorated with turquoise-green tiles that give it a serene and spiritual aura. The interior is equally breathtaking, with intricate Iznik tilework, calligraphy, and a peaceful atmosphere that invites reflection. It’s part of the Green Complex, located right next to the Green Mosque, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in history, culture, or art. Though the tomb is not very large, its beauty and historical significance make it unforgettable. Highly recommend visiting with a guide to fully appreciate its story and craftsmanship.

The Karagoz Museum in Bursa, Turkey, is a unique celebration of the traditional art of Turkish shadow puppetry, particularly the Karagoz theater. It houses an extensive collection of exquisitely crafted puppets, costumes, and accessories that offer visitors a captivating insight into this centuries-old performance art.
Ive always loved karagoz and hacivat! Used to watch some clips on tv back in the day so seeing this was super cool! Its a shame the culture of storytelling with puppets is dying whilst it being a very fun and special. Its a small museum and it was free to enter. It was super interesting to read the given information and see how those puppets actually look like in real life. I wouldve loved for this museum to have a museumshop with souvenirs! Sadly stores nearby didnt sell anything related to karagoz and hacivat either
Elif C — Google review
A very interesting museum! I've read about the Karagoz and Bahlavan in the Middle Eastern and Central Asian culture before and how they influenced kingdoms and civilians but never thought of finding a place that tells the story through pictures, old newspapaers and wooden figures from various destinations. Also, i was lucky to attend a Karagoz play during a school trip. Of course, it was in turkish and i didn't understand a word, but the music was so entertaining it reminds me of my childhood, add to that the excitement and energy i felt amongst the children..That was priceless!! متحف الاراجوز
SaraH L — Google review
Entrance is free of charge. Building is very nice from outside but inside exposition is boring. And text is very long which makes it difficult to read and in the end you don't get any idea about the shadow theatre.

One of the highlights of our stay in Nevsehir. The children loved playing with the shadow puppetry and having a go at “ebru”, Turkish marbling. We had the entire place to ourselves first time we went. Children loved it so much that we came back after a couple of days. There was a school trip visiting and a short puppetry show was put on (in Turkish) which was a bonus!

The Muradiye Complex, located just a short walk west of the Bursa Castle remains, is a historically rich site that includes the Muradiye Mosque, built in 1426 under Sultan Murat II. The complex also features a madrasa and the tombs of sultans. The mosque's architecture is reminiscent of Bursa's Green Mosque and boasts a garden filled with domed tombs that narrate the early Ottoman Empire's turbulent history and succession struggles.

This complex is set in pleasant gardens with a small cafe for refreshments. The mosque with the is very impressive, commissioned by Sultan Murad ll it contains 12 tombs(türbe)most belonging to the relatives of the Sultan. The mosque was completed in 1426, fire damaged the mosque in early 18th century, and one of the minarets collapsed due to an earthquake in the 19th century.,. The complex houses a Madrasa, Bath, and Maradiye Hospice. The Madrasa (school) is now a museum. It was the last complex built by an Ottoman Sultan in Bursa, Murad ll what is the father of Mehmet, the conqueror. Some of the tombs have is Iznik tiles. The museum has beautiful copies of the Quran. I found this to be a beautiful and relaxing place, despite the fact it must attract many tourists and local people.

The Complex of Sultan Murad II was the highlight of my Bursa visit. The interior of the mosque is one of the nicest we have visited in Turkey. Tophane Clock Tower is a striking 15-meter-tall neoclassical structure that was reconstructed in 1905. Originally built as a fire tower, it has become a popular attraction for both local and Arab tourists, partly due to the city's natural beauty and its prominence in Turkish movies and TV series. The area around the clock tower is rich in historical sites, including the tombs of Osman Ghazi and Orhan Ghazi, the founding fathers of the Ottoman Empire.
Totally worth it! If not for the historical monuments then at least just for the fantastic view of old town Bursa with its beautiful old mosques and bazaars, and the gorgeous mountainside.

Historical landmark
Cumalikizik Village, a UNESCO-protected site, was established by the people of Kizik who sought refuge in the Ottoman Empire. The village's well-preserved houses and streets offer a glimpse into its rich history. Visitors can explore alleyways lined with locals selling crafts and merchandise while immersing themselves in the heritage. The village provides an opportunity to witness traditional Turkish culture and architecture from the Ottoman era.
I visited in February so it was not crowded at all. It was an actual journey back in time. The village is a beautifully preserved Ottoman site of over 700 years old, offering a true glimpse into history. The cobblestone streets, colorful wooden houses, and authentic village atmosphere made me feel like stepping into another era. The locals are warm and welcoming, and everybody was trying the traditional Turkish breakfast here. As a UNESCO site it’s a fantastic place for history lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to experience authentic Ottoman charm. Local produce was incredible, especially wool-made traditional clothing.
Mihai M — Google review
What a beautiful and charming village. Very nice and kind people. A chance to get some good local food and so souvenirs. You can even learn a little history. A must stop while visiting Bursa. We recommend going at noon or earlier. As we were leaving at 2 pm it was becoming packed with people and traffic.
Wanderers B — Google review
A quiet and charming place, blending the past with the present. Most people visit for breakfast and to spend time inside the old traditional houses. There’s also a market with trinkets and decorative items — mostly factory-made, but still beautiful. It’s a lovely spot to spend some time, and you’ll need at least an hour or more to fully enjoy it.

Cumalıkızık, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a beautifully preserved Ottoman-era village just outside Bursa. The cobblestone streets, traditional houses, and authentic atmosphere make it feel like stepping back in time. The area is still well conserved, with locals maintaining the charm and heritage of the place. There are small shops, cafes, and breakfast spots that add to the experience. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s definitely worth visiting for its history and unique character. Easily accessible from the city center.
Aon S — Google review
Visiting Cumalıkızık Village is like stepping back into the early days of the Ottoman Empire. Nestled at the foot of Mount Uludağ, this 700-year-old village has preserved its authentic charm with narrow cobblestone streets, colorful timber-framed houses, and a serene atmosphere. Turkey Tours Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014, Cumalıkızık offers a unique glimpse into Ottoman rural life. The village's well-preserved architecture and layout reflect the early Ottoman period's civil architecture and community planning. World Heritage Site Local residents contribute to the village's vibrant culture by offering traditional Turkish breakfasts, homemade jams, and handcrafted goods. The warmth and hospitality of the locals enhance the overall experience, making visitors feel truly welcome. Wanderlog For history enthusiasts, photographers, or anyone seeking an authentic cultural experience, Cumalıkızık is a must-visit destination. Its blend of historical significance, architectural beauty, and community spirit makes it a standout attraction in the Bursa region.
Khuram S — Google review
It was nice experience but walking on odd leveled stone road there is very tiring and bit tortuous for old people. Please wear well coushioned sports shoes only if you plan to come here. It'll very crowded on weekends, so stay together and well connected if you are in a group. Enjoy the local crafts and jewelry for ladies.
Jaspal S — Google review
It is worth to visit here. If you take on No.2 subway, yon should drop off at Cumalikizik station. Then, take a Dolmus to the village(if you ask to anyone in the street, they will tell you. Just next to the station). Old houses are quite interesting and village is peaceful(centre of the village is full of tourist). Village itself is really good. But there are so many vendors here.

Nestled within the picturesque Soganli Botanical Park in Bursa, Turkey, Bursa Zoo is a delightful destination for families and wildlife lovers alike. This charming zoo showcases an impressive array of global species, including majestic giraffes, powerful lions, playful zebras, and even grizzly bears. Designed with animal welfare in mind, the zoo offers spacious habitats that mimic natural environments while providing visitors with an engaging experience. Bursa Zoo goes beyond just observing animals; it serves as a hub for education and conservation.
This is the biggest zoo I ever visited. It just keeps going. Very unique experience and a MUST if you went to Bursa. You will see too many animals, you could see some animals for the first time. There were many school kids everywhere, I didn't get annoyed, but some people may not prefer that. There were trees, but there weren't many shades, so make sure to visit on cloudy or cool days, not a sunny day.
Mohammed A — Google review
A lush green Zoo with many animals and species protected in a beautiful manner. In Bursa, one of the main attractions with your family and kids. An affordable entry fee of 40L with large parking outside and many refreshments inside. The highlight is this maintained greenish botanical garden and pavements lead you to walk to explore this open zoo without any tiresome. Spent 3-4 hours watching the animals and their lives in fantastic weather. A must go place in Bursa.

Bursa Zoo was fine but not very impressive. Some animals looked a bit sad, and a few spots had an unpleasant smell. There were some cute animals to see, though. Overall, it could be better. The ticket price (50 lira) was fair.🦒🦚🐆🦁🦏🦙

Pretty average zoo, great for what it is. I do recommend if you are in the area with kids and have nothing to do. Nestled in the charming suburb of Cekirge, the Bursa Atatürk Museum is a remarkable homage to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey's founding father. This beautifully preserved 19th-century timber mansion served as his residence during visits in the 1920s and '30s. Visitors can explore several rooms adorned with original furniture, personal belongings, and photographs that vividly illustrate Atatürk's life and legacy.
So between 12-13 they have a lunch break. Me and my family came from the Karagoz museum and were there during the break (12.20) however there wasnt any store near that sold water, the kind lady from the staff brought us a whole litre of water for us to drink AND shared a delicious portion of irmik with us (best ive ever had honestly). So we absolutely loved the kind staff! The house itself isnt super big but its impressive to see and know ataturk has been and lived there

Although this is a historical site, there's not much to see here. Just a display of old furniture. Lack of information provided. If you want to learn about Atatürk this is not the place. Only 1st and 2nd floor open. You'll see about 4 rooms. It takes 10 minutes to walk through. Don't go out of your way to come here. However, if you're nearby I recommend walking across the street to the park. ✅ Free

A Must-Visit Gem – The Authentic Bursa Grand Bazaar Visiting the Bursa Grand Bazaar was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The atmosphere is vibrant, rich with culture, and filled with the kind of authenticity you rarely experience in modern markets. From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a world where tradition meets charm. What makes this place so special isn't just the variety of goods—from beautiful handwoven scarves and traditional textiles to spices, jewellery, and local crafts—but also the people. The shopkeepers are genuinely warm, welcoming, and proud of their heritage. They’re always happy to share stories behind their products and offer you tea while you browse, making the experience feel personal and unforgettable. The bazaar has a unique energy that reflects the deep history of Bursa itself. It’s not overly commercialised like many tourist spots—it’s authentic, rooted in centuries-old trade and craftsmanship. If you’re visiting Turkey, especially if you're interested in culture, local experiences, or just want to enjoy an amazing shopping atmosphere, the Bursa Grand Bazaar is an absolute must. Have been here 2 times.. 2019 and 30 December 2024. My son was excited during the whole trip. ❤️❤️
Sabara — Google review
It was an okay ride. The price was high compared to the ride. There was a bit of a wait to get the tickets and there was a part of the lift that was not working so we only were able to ride half of it. If you have money to spare do it or else, it’s okay to miss it. One of the employees spoke arabic so that was very helpful.
Mike A — Google review
The view is absolutely stunning and worth seeing at least once. However, the cable car is quite expensive—especially for non-Turkish visitors, and it's unclear why there's a price difference. What's more frustrating is that they still charge the full fare even when the second station is closed, meaning you can't reach the summit. While it's officially "due to maintenance," it's clear that this closure is seasonal, as the upper section is simply not open in summer. Overall, it felt overpriced for a partial experience. I’m glad I saw it once, but I wouldn’t go again.
Elfra F — Google review
While the views from the Uludağ cable car are undeniably breathtaking, the overall experience left much to be desired. As a foreigner, I was charged 950 TL (around €22), which feels unfairly steep—especially considering that half the line was apparently "under maintenance" (we were told we couldn’t reach the summit, a common excuse it seems during the low season). There was no prior warning about the limited access, and no reduced fare to reflect the shorter ride. Beyond the scenic ride itself, the rest of the experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. For the price paid, I expected more than just a one-way view and vague explanations. The natural beauty is there, but everything else—from pricing to transparency—needs serious improvement.
Carmine M — Google review
Love it... Very organized. The fast line cost 300 lira but it's worth it... You don't have to wait to get there. Clean cars, the mountains are beautiful, touring the forest is a must. Must try if u visit Bursa

Haroon M — Google review
The views were great. But the prices were outrageous. My Turkish fiancé was 90 tl to ride the cable car whereas, they charged me 300 tl because of my USA passport. It’s not fair. We spent 110 tl on just 2 coffees. Make sure to bring your own food because everything is overpriced. Other than that, the mountain is a great place to escape the heat and stress of the city. Many playgrounds for children.
Kerenza P — Google review
One of the amazing experiences I had in Turkey. The cable way has 2 stops. The first one (Satialan) is at 1635 m altitude. Once out, you will fund many activities and things to do for the whole family. You can have nature walks in the amazing fir forest, play at the adventure park, rent a bike or ATV, have a picnic in nature and many other things. You can easily spend the day there especially for families. The second stop (kurbagakaya) is at 1810 m altitude. It has ski resorts and chalets. The ride in the cable way itself is amazing since you go up Uludag mountain, then ride almost horizontally, then ride to to the top very close to the trees where you can enjoy the fir trees. It is a must when in Bursa.

One of the must-see attractions in Bursa. From the top, you get a beautiful view of the city, and it’s also the resting place of the founders of the Ottoman Empire. If you’re here around 5:00 PM, don’t miss the guard-changing ceremony — it’s a memorable bonus to the visit.

Tophane Park is the area where Osman Gazi, Orhan Gazi Tombs, Clock Tower and historical cannons are located. The park is very beautiful and has several huge terraces where you can have a bird eye view of the whole city of Borsa down below.

Tophane Park is located in Bursa's Osmangazi neighborhood. This is one of Bursa's busiest areas. There are so many historical sites surrounding this park. The Tophane Park is surrounded by lovely flower gardens and trees. This is really energizing. The sight of tulip blooms in the center of the park astounded me. Additionally, the entire Tophane Square is visible from the park's summit. The Tophane Clock tower and Osman Gazi's tomb are located in this park. Osman Gazi's tomb : The founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman Gazi, was buried at this tomb. There are also a number of graves. The following people are buried there as well: Nilüfer Hatun, the wife of Osman Gazi; his son Şehzade Kasım Çelebi, his daughter Fatma Sultan, Murad's son Savcı Bey and Asburçe Hatun, Yıldırım Bayezid's sons Musa Çelebi, Şehzade Korkut, and Cem Sultan's son Şehzade Abdullah. Tophane Clock Tower: Bursa's Tophane Clock Tower was built by Ottoman Sultan II. It is an important monumental work reflecting the architecture of the Ottoman period. The historical clock tower is said to have been constructed to commemorate Abdulhamid's throne ascension on its 29th anniversary. This significant massive structure embodies the Ottoman era's architectural style. It has six floors and a height of 33 metres. Stunning viewpoint overlooking Bursa from beside the tower. From August 2, 1904, to August 31, 1905, was when the clock tower's construction was finished.

Second, if you refuse to buy it, they will start telling you the waiting time is 40 min, but it's a big lie, the girl with blond hair she's a big liyer in the front desk. Even after you got in you will see shops everywhere they will try to make you buy things you don't want or need, even if you make a mistake you buy a coffee they will charge you 130TL for a coffee. The Osman Gazi Türbesi is an Ottoman tomb located on a hilltop in Bursa, Turkey. The building has been reconstructed from a Byzantine structure and includes a terrace with cafes that offer stunning views of the surrounding area. While some visitors find the tomb to be overly decorated and not aligned with Islamic teachings, it remains an important historical site for many people. The tomb itself is elevated above floor level, which goes against traditional Islamic burial practices.
Visiting the Osman Gazi Tomb was a truly moving experience. As the founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman Gazi holds a significant place in Turkish history. The tomb itself is beautifully maintained and reflects the grandeur of the Ottoman era. The serene atmosphere allows for quiet reflection on the life and legacy of this important figure. It's a must-visit for anyone interested in Turkish history and culture!

Here lies the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The shrine attracts many visitors and is ket in a very good condition. The guards at the entrance are dressed in the former of the days when Osman was the Sultan. They are a part of the attraction of the place. As it is a mausoleum, modest dressing is recommended.

The resting place of Osman Gazi, holy shrines of other important figures and close companions of the Ottoman regime. Located in Tophane park, which overlooks the panoramic view of Bursa city. Open to the visitors and free to enter, a calm, quiet and peaceful atmosphere near the tomb. A ceremonial reenactment used to perform there. Dressed as Ottoman soldiers and offer tribute to them in a crowd of spectators. Orhan Gazi's (Son of Osman Gazi) resting place is also next to this. Really a place to feel the old history and understand. A must visit spot in Bursa.

The tomb of the first Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Osman Gazi! When Bursa was conquered in 1326, Osman was still alive but too ill and old to take part in the campaign, so his son Orhan led the conquest. Next to Osman Gazi’s tomb, you’ll also find the tomb of his son, Orhan Gazi. What’s interesting is that the tomb of Osman Gazi is still guarded by human guards!
Stefan — Google review
Visiting the tomb of Osman Gazi was an amazing and unforgettable experience. As the founder of the great Ottoman Empire (Osmanlı Sultanate), his final resting place carries immense historical and cultural importance. The tomb is beautifully preserved, and the peaceful atmosphere allows visitors to truly reflect on the legacy of this iconic leader. What made my visit even more special was witnessing a traditional parade near the tomb. It added a vibrant and ceremonial touch to the experience, giving a glimpse into the rich Ottoman heritage and how it’s still honored today. The location also offers stunning views over Bursa, and nearby sites like Orhan Gazi’s Tomb and the historic Tophane Clock Tower make it a perfect spot for history lovers. A must-visit destination for anyone exploring the roots of the Ottoman Empire!

Nestled in the heart of Bursa, Reşat Oyal Culture Park is a delightful escape for both locals and visitors alike. Established in 1955, this expansive park spans an impressive 393 thousand square meters and serves as the city's first major green space. With its serene boating pond surrounded by charming tea gardens, restaurants, and bars, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. Families can enjoy various attractions including playgrounds and carnival rides while taking leisurely boat rides on the tranquil lake.
Reşat Oyal Culture Park: During my Eid break, I went to this park. The total area of Reşat Oyal Culture Park is 393,000 square meters. Bursa's Reşat Oyal Culture Park first opened its doors in 1955. I love this park because, as spring arrives, so many new leaves and flowers sprout around it. This park has an abundance of flowers along every path that can make your life's stress disappear. There are lots of tulip blooms in the park, including red, yellow, and pink ones. That was incredibly fascinating!! The park includes tea gardens, restaurants, the Bursa Archaeology Museum, the Conservatory Building, the Open Air Theatre, and an amusement park. The name of the amusement park is Luna Park or Altin Park. Because of the Eid season, it was packed with kids and their families. This theme park offers an enormous selection of rides. These include the Atli Carinca, Ferris Wheel, Crushing cars, Adrenalin Max, Gandola, Mini Train, Octopus Ride, Crazy Dancing, and many more

Nestled in the heart of Bursa's historical Al-Muradia district, the Museum of Ottoman House offers a fascinating glimpse into the past. This charming two-story wooden structure, located right across from the Sultan Murad Mosque, is not just any museum; it’s also the birthplace of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, known for conquering Istanbul. The basement is accessed from the north side, while the ground and first floors are accessed from the courtyard on the west side. An example of civil architecture, the house was expropriated and restored by the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums of the Ministry of National Education in 1946. It was re-opened as a museum in 1958, with its exhibition arrangements. It was repaired again in 1973 and 1992, and its exhibition arrangements were re-arranged. From the exterior, the house, which sits on a stone foundation, has its east facade plastered up to the first floor level. The slightly protruding first floor features brickwork laid in zigzag patterns between wooden beams. This facade features loophole-type windows at the basement level, rectangular windows on the ground floor, and round-arched plaster latticework skylights above the rectangular windows on the first floor. The windows have wooden casements. The west facade of the house, which provides access to the ground and first floors, is divided by wooden pillars. The ground floor features a balcony with wooden railings, while the upper floor opens to the outside with windows in the Bursa arch style. The northern section is plastered. The south facade is blind. The building is entered via a six-step staircase located south of the axis on the west facade. An open-fronted iwan hall and iwan flank each room. The plan is repeated on the upper floor. Inside, the low-ceilinged ground floor is made of wood and bares no decorative elements. Upstairs, an iwan hall and two symmetrical rooms opening onto the iwan and iwan reflect the finest examples of 17th-century woodwork. The ceiling of the hall is decorated with a cream-colored, green-red zigzag pattern, while the ceiling of the iwan is decorated with motifs consisting of a star in the center and hexagons surrounding it. (Translated by Google) Located opposite the Murad II Complex in the Muradiye district, the wooden house is thought to have once housed a mansion belonging to Sultan Murad II. Therefore, it is also known as the birthplace of Mehmed the Conqueror, the conqueror of Istanbul. The two-story house, now a museum, exhibits 17th-century characteristics in its layout and decoration, making it one of the oldest surviving houses in Bursa. The plan consists of an iwaned hall opening onto the garden and two rooms. The lower floor rooms are low-ceilinged winter rooms. In the upper floor, the "main room," a magnificent wooden wardrobe decorated with hand-carved plant and flower motifs, a geometrically decorated wooden ceiling, and a hexagonal ceiling spire all showcase the beautiful and characteristic features of 17th-century decoration. The museum building, which consists of three floors: basement, ground floor, and first floor, features a fountain with a marble trough made of cut stone in its courtyard. A wooden staircase leads to the ground floor, which is flanked by a large hall with wooden railings and a bedroom. The first floor, accessed by a wooden staircase, houses the guest lounge, dining room, and harem rooms. The Ottoman House Museum is a work of art created by Bursa craftsmen. This used to be one of our go-to places in Bursa for years — a spot we truly enjoyed returning to. Sadly, after our recent visit, we won’t be coming back. What once made this place special — the live musicians playing real instruments, creating a warm and lively atmosphere — is completely gone. The entire team has changed. Now, there’s no exclusivity to the music, and the noise from neighboring restaurants bleeds in so much that you can’t even enjoy what’s being played. The mezze selection was never outstanding, but this time it was even worse — bland and uninspired. The main course (a meat dish) lacked flavor and character altogether. What really disappointed us was the staff. Once seated, the waiters put in almost no effort. Most of them looked visibly disinterested, staring at their phones, showing zero hospitality or engagement with guests. The bill has no breakdown, so you really do not know what has been charged and you can’t even check it for correctness. If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Turkish food in a good ambiance — I’d strongly recommend going somewhere else. This place has completely lost its charm.

Bursa Castle is an absolute gem in the city of Bursa! Sitting atop of city is has stunning views. Parking was ample. We loved exploring this historic castle. The walls and towers are impressive, and you can really feel the history as you walk through the grounds. Each layer of the castle was from a different era and the visual storytelling was captivating. There's a small admission fee, but it's worth it for the views and the experience. We were delighted to find a cozy café inside where we could take a break and enjoy a drink. During our visit, there was an exhibit that started that day which is amazing. The videos in the prison section were powerful, which added an exciting touch to our experience. There are interactive elements in various areas. The combination of history, a and beautiful scenery makes Bursa Castle a fantastic stop. If you’re in the area, definitely take the time to check it out! We highly recommend it!

Castle is small as I expected to be much bigger but the interactive digital content and videos are much appreciated. Also it is free entrance. I added some pics yet they don't reflect enough the nice experience. The excursions initiated by Ibn Batuta Bertrandon De La Broquire (1432), Polish Simeon (1608), Evliya Çelebi (17th century), Katip Çelebi (17th century), George Wheler (1675), Jean de Thevenot (1689 ), A. Nice small and cozy environment. They offer you typical Turkish coffee/tea/drink as you enter. The decor is beautiful. The items are displayed in a fashion where they look nicer which is brilliant. This is one of the itineraries from my tour agency. The store is small and too tight as you can't move especially if there is a throng of tourists. Indeed, a free coffee or tea for every tourist. Love the combination and different colors of the lamp decorations and so with the silk. Well, there is one staff and we followed him outside the store (we thought he was part of the tour agency exclusively in that store) but then, at the end he want to sell a product that was kinda expensive. Good thing that I and the others never bought anything there. Perhaps it is a tourist trap.

tourist trap. I will tell you how we were scammed in this place and How did they cooperate with the tour guide to scam tourists. First I agreed from my country with a company and this company agreed with a company from Turkey to organize tours for us in “Istanbul” (it was the biggest mistake I made) and this company had trapped us a lot and one of them was this place, they took us a whole day to Bursa just for this place and when we arrived they told us to stay in this place for 5 hours and not to go anywhere else and when we entered the place the people who work there came to us and started trying to convince us to buy ridiculous things of poor quality at a very high price (10x the price outside) and the more we refused they insisted and my friend from Saudi Arabia when they knew she was an Arab they started raising the price and trying by all means to sell her. We couldn't even buy water from there . And then we learned that the company agreed with this place to bring tourists to it,
Karina G — Google review
Well .. this place is nice and artistic, the people also friendly but maybe because we are tourists, and they will keep pursuing you to buy the items there.. to be honest the prices are too expensive compares to other markets, we said so because we have explored 7 cities in Turkiye and many markets and compare the prices...

The comfortable, contemporary hotel B LOFT HOTEL BURSA offers a wide range of amenities and refined rooms with some with sitting areas. The bar is an ideal place to relax after exploring the town centre or city attractions. The hotel is situated in the old town close to many popular tourist destinations including the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts.
The hotel is very well renovated and maintained, unlike what i have seen in some people's comments. The location is amazing in the heart of Bursa's oldest part. Rooms were quite. We were on the second floor and didn't hear much street noise. Almost all shops close at 9 anyway, and the streets get empty. Great hotel, super friendly staff, overall awesome experience, and highly recommended.
A B — Google review
The rooms were dated, yellowing stains in the bathroom floor were obvious. The doors are wooden and have obvious signs of wood chipping off the block. The hotel was stingy, did not give us much amenities. Despite knowing that I booked the room for 3 people, they only provided coffee cups and water bottles for two people. Don’t get me started on the toiletries. As for the service, while I don’t expect a five star treatment, basic courtesy like bringing the suitcase up would help since I had one child and a baby. The location is great though.
Kartini J — Google review
Great room for family, location are very good with walking distance to many of the main places. If you come with a car, make sure to ask the hotel for the location of the car park as it is not directly near the hotel itself, but it is very near and you will have to leave the key with the carpark guards as it is a public car park and your car will be moved by them to accommodate all the cars that will be parked there. That is a little bit concern for your rented car safety but for my case the car was fine
Anas A — Google review
Hotel in Bursa – Great location, but many things need improvement We stayed at this hotel mainly because of its location — it’s right in the center of Bursa and very close to where we had a wedding, which was convenient. The room was basic, nothing fancy, but it had what we needed for a short stay. However, several things were disappointing. One of the main issues was the laundry service. The hotel listed it as one of their services, but when we asked for it, they told us the person in charge wasn’t there. They sent us to a place that was closed, and we finally found a laundry around the corner that charged us 1500 liras just to iron two pieces of clothing. That was outrageous. Sadly, this kind of thing happened more than once in Turkey — many places take advantage of tourists and pressure you to make decisions without giving you a chance to check or compare prices. Customer service wasn’t great either. The reception staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. And the parking situation was a nightmare: you have to leave your car in a tiny spot, hand over your key, and they move it around as needed — like a game of Tetris — because there simply isn’t enough space. It’s unbelievable. We ended up leaving the car there for the whole stay and just used taxis to avoid risking any damage to the rental car. On the positive side, one staff member was very kind — he helped us with our luggage and even helped us order a pizza at midnight (which arrived at 2 a.m.) when we were really hungry. That gesture was appreciated, even though it was the only warm moment during our stay. In summary, the hotel is okay if you're just looking for a place to sleep and want to be near the center, but there are definitely several things they need to improve — especially service, honesty about amenities, and the parking system
Marcela S — Google review
Great stay! Close to Koza Han, the shopping streets which is the biggest I ever seen.Famous for Iskender kebab and Cumalikizik village which is near the city. A bit tricky to get to places, you would need to get a taxi sometimes, instead of waiting, as buses can take long, depending on where you want to go. Selim, at the hotel reception waa great in helping me navigate how to get to places by public transport, so thanks for that!

Really clean rooms, staff were really helpful and accommodating, central location - on a really nice road with supermarkets etc so you can find anything you need. In future we would prefer to book directly, as a lot of booking platforms have been criticised by human rights organisations for listing accommodations in illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine.
