The Green Turtle Inn, a historic restaurant in Islamorada, no longer serves as an inn but has been serving travelers and locals for generations. It is known for its inspired seafood dishes such as conch chowder and scallops with fettuccine. The restaurant gained fame when it survived the 1935 hurricane that nearly wiped out Islamorada.
Impressed with the quality of food, timeliness of ordering and food to the table and the very kind service! The Avocado toast was fresh avocado sliced with light and flavorful focaccia bread. I requested the eggs be “double” hard boiled and they cooked them to absolute PERFECTION! My husband got the shrimp and grits - as a southern man himself, he loved them and said he “had not had this good of ship and grits in a long time” 🍤 that’s a high mark coming from him! Our waitress, Angela was so kind and sweet. She made perfect suggestions and was quick to take our order and provide food. Compliments to the chef! 👩‍🍳 🌟

First off, VERY clean place. Good prices. They have a fancy side and. Very nice chill bar with plenty of TVs. The bar tend Rob was great. The food was excellwnt, fresh fish and really good bbq. Try the turtle twinkies (bacon qrapped, jalapeño stuffed with cheese and brisket).

We had an incredible breakfast at The Green Turtle Inn! The crab omelette was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly fluffy and packed with sweet, fresh crabmeat. Every bite was rich and flavorful, and it was easily one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. What made the experience even better was our waitress, Stephanie. She was friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. Her upbeat attitude and top-notch service made us feel truly welcome from the moment we walked in. If you’re in the Keys and looking for a breakfast spot that delivers both great food and genuine hospitality, The Green Turtle is it. Don’t miss the crab omelette—and ask for Stephanie!

Friendly and welcoming staff. We sat at the bar and had Key Limecolda and a IPA. We watch Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives so we had to try the meatloaf just as he did. It did not disappoint wow. We also had some mussels. Can’t wait to come back down and stop by again

I just stopped in here for a much needed water and the bartender was really nice and understanding. She was wearing a gold chain and I told her I would tip her and she said I didn't have to but I gave her a few dollars anyway. The place looked super nice with 2 bars. Plenty of seating. I definitely Thought thecoming back to eat after seeing how nice it was inside but didn't get a chance to. Would definitely like to if I ever make it back down to the Keys! Thank you to the bartender for being so nice and understanding!

I was oversold this restaurant by alot. We arrived late for our reservation of 8 due to an accident on the road. We called to let them know but apparently we were one of many patrons also late so when we arrived the hostess was cold and irritable. We were seated at a nice table and our server was attentive. We ordered the lamb appetizer which was a hit at the table and also the turtle soup which was not much for flavor or imagination. The table ordered several prime ribs and the accolades from our group were great based mostly on size. The prices definitely reflect that though. I ordered hogfish piccata and honestly, it didn’t taste fresh enough, the piccata sauce was slimy and I scraped it off, the carrots and asparagus had no asparagus and the carrots were cold and hard. Mostly our group was delighted and happy with food, service and atmosphere. I felt it to be classic yet dated, overpriced for the quality but the service made up for most inequities. It was our friend’s 60th and they graciously offered cake with candles made it feel festive. I felt our bill to far exceed the quality and atmosphere but I also appreciated the classic keys experience.

We have wanted to come here (honestly) for thirty years; we pass it every year as we drive up and down US-1. We stopped for dinner yesterday for the first time - it was 100% worth the wait! We had cocktails and appetisers at the bar, and sat in the restaurant for wine and dinner. My wife had (the recommended) pork chop, and I had “Guy’s favourite” meatloaf; both were delicious. Nice atmosphere and great service (thank you, Angela). We won’t wait 30 years for our next visit!

I owe Green Turtle Inn an apology…I was sooo wrong! I’ve been going to the keys since I was old enough to drive(I’m 61yrs now) and have passed by GTI a thousand times. I’ve never stopped because I’ve always thought or had been told it was a dive. I was sooo WRONG!!! A friend of mine who lives in the keys strongly suggested we eat there - we did, and we LOVED it! So much so that we back the next morning for breakfast-loved that too! I AM SORRY! Now, we can’t wait to return to the keys just to be able to stop in at GTI - now one of my favorite restaurants in the keys! Btw, the service for both dinner and breakfast was phenomenal, as was the food! I’m sorry and thank you! Also, congrats on your many years of serving the Keys. **dinner not pictured-was enjoying the pork chop way too much to take photos

Hungry Tarpon Restaurant is a casual seafood spot with an option to cook your own catch and a deck overlooking the bay illuminated by tiki torches. The restaurant offers fresh seafood and a relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
Neat stop. Lots of little shops. The food was really amazing. You get a decent portion. The goats cheese, bacon and raspberry jelly sliders are great! Views of the ocean and bridge. WE HAD A GREAT service which is hard to come by. Also had a device that was delicious.
Tina S — Google review
The restaurant has a beautiful location right on the water, with a great attraction next door. It brings great crowds at peak times. Unfortunately the food is really not good. Their fried fish tastes like it was taken out of a grocery store breaded fish sticks section, the tacos had nothing to them but some cabbage, tomatoes and piece of fish that had nothing flavor to it. We are both fish lovers and neither of us could push ourselves to finish the meal. Even the fries were not good. Mind you, the ice tea was lacking flavor too. I tried adding sugar and lemon and nothing saved it. What this needs is a new chef and quickly. On top of that, you will see your waiter when you order and when you hunt them down to pay. Our drinks were not delivered and I finally got them after 15 min, after getting up and asking 3 waiters to get them. Not worth the time. There are many better organized and better meal quality options nearby.
Agnes G — Google review
Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed every bite of my sandwich. The views, the food and the service were fantastic. This place looks like a fun place in the evening. Wish we had time to stay around for dinner.
Henry L — Google review
Absolutely beautiful spot by the water and ships. If you choose to sit by the deck you can watch people feed the tarpon and usually there's some pelicans and other birds nearby. Hate to do this, but I will say the food is on the pricier side and sadly I found to be quite lackluster with exception of the lobster bisque. The drinks are much smaller than establishments with similar price points. I think we went to maybe 25 restaurants in the time we were in this area and this one has the longest wait and slowest service of all of them. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks. Certainly they were short-staffed however not busy either.
Brent J — Google review
Very cool vibe! Beautiful view. Got to feed the tarpons!! Had the shrimp and coconut shrimp and it was mediocre. Bit overpriced but island prices I guess. But I might recommend the happy hour boiled shrimp. Great value and tasty.
Glenn H — Google review
We tried that trailer trash bloody mary, made by the sweetest lady, super quick, you know? The mix was a bit weak, but the stuff on top was awesome, a good snack. Prices are kinda high, though. But the view and the vibe are what make this place worth it.

Breakfast at Robbie’s in Islamorada was a perfect Keys experience — waterfront views, hearty food, and warm service. I had eggs, home fries, sausage, and toast cooked exactly right, while my companion’s blueberry pancakes were fluffy and delicious — easily “the best in the Keys.” Fresh fruit on the side added a tropical touch. Our server, Jana, was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed with coffee refills and extras. Between the food, the setting, and her service, breakfast at Robbie’s is an easy 10/10.

I went to have lunch today with my mom, husband and son for my mom’s birthday and we had a great time! We got sat pretty quickly and Natalie was very sweet and attentive to us the entire time! She had great recommendations, The coconut shrimp was amazing and my husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich. My mother had a great time and it was a great atmosphere. The manager in the front was also very polite to us and the family :) The service was genuine and it was a great birthday lunch <3 :) thank you!

Mangrove Mike's is a beloved no-frills diner in Islamorada, known for its informal breakfast and lunch menu that attracts both locals and travelers. The cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, with framed photos of fishing triumphs adorning the walls. Visitors can also indulge in a classic American breakfast at reasonable prices, including unique dishes like hogfish eggs benedict with hash browns.
This place is one of the highly rated diners in Islamorada. We went in for a late breakfast. There is always a wait time and smaller parties get seated faster. We finally got seat at the bar area. We ordered Mangrove Mikes Super Special and Mangrove Slam. The pancake portion was huge but the food we ordered wasnt memorable IMO but decent.
N A — Google review
Awesome little restaurant in Islamorada! We were recommended this place by a friend of ours and are so glad we stopped here. The breakfast was amazing and my son really liked the Chicken sandwich as well. We stayed in Marathon so we didn’t make it here until we left the keys. It was a little busy that day but well worth the wait. We had 7 people which was about the max for them but even larger parties they were able to split up and accommodate. I would definitely go back if we got the chance!
Ryan M — Google review
I loved everything about this place! The food was plentiful, well prepared and tasty! Big selection on the menu for both breakfast and lunch. I had a hard time choosing what to eat! Loved the tuna fish sandwich as it wasn’t drowning in mayonnaise. Burgers were great and so were the fries and coleslaw. I will be back again.
The J — Google review
Was staying next door to Mangrove Mike's on vacation and saw it was well reviewed and decided to give it a shot. Food was excellent. Server had her rear end hanging out and a crop top on. Service was lack luster. Drinks sat empty and when refilled gave my husband water instead of sprite and refilled my diet coke with regular. We felt like an inconvenience though we really asked for nothing. Key lime pie pancakes were delicious as were the tater tots.
Tiffany R — Google review
This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Portions are big, so be prepared! The banana bread French toast is amazing as is the cinnamon roll version. Prices are comparable to most places in the Keys.
Ben E — Google review
We had such a great experience, food was great, dishes were big and generous, the place was packed, and everyone seemed to have a good time! We loved it! Definitely will come back when close by

Mangrove Mike’s generously supported our group of 25 veterans during the Fish With A Hero event, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The service was exceptional, the food was well-prepared, and the coffee cups were consistently full. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mangrove Mike’s for their outstanding hospitality and for honoring our veterans with such care and respect.

This place was so good we came twice in the three days we stayed down here. They have a French toast sampler (that you can get gluten free) that was the best thing I’ve eaten for breakfast in a long time. And the omelettes. Stuffed to overflowing with your meats and cheeses. Not a huge place so make sure you plan some time to wait. But it was well worth it. Key lime pancakes the second time(also in a gluten free options) were bomb.

The cafe boasts a cozy atmosphere with mismatched chairs, cute cafe curtains, and local art adorning the walls. Guests can peruse a small gift shop while waiting for their meal or enjoy browsing through local books and newspapers.
Midway Cafe is such a beautiful and cozy spot! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with reasonable prices. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. we had the green croissant sandwich and waffles, both of which were fantastic. But I really think their coffees are the stars of the menu. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal and even better coffee. Highly recommend!

We had breakfast here, and the breakfast burrito was plentiful. Bring your appetite if you order this dish. The atmosphere was great, you can sit inside or outside l - there are plenty of tables. The avocado toast was also brilliant. I will be coming back 2 or 3 more times on this 6-day trip here in Islamorada!

We had a great experience here today! My kids enjoyed their kids pancake plate (1 pancake, 1 egg, bacon and fruit for $8 was perfect for them), I enjoyed the Greek chicken salad wrap with a side of lobster bisque with pita chips. It was fantastic, a great light, yet filling brunch. My husband enjoyed his wrap and pasta salad as well. They had a beautifully tempting display of baked goods as well as a nice selection of gifts. The service was fast and friendly! We enjoyed sitting outside! I would definitely be sure to make a stop here!

If you’re looking for a great brunch spot, you have to stop by Midway Café! The food is amazing, and they offer both indoor and outdoor dining with plenty of delicious options. I had the omelette and the almond croissant both were incredible! Their menu has everything from breakfast and lunch to coffee and smoothies. Whether you’re staying in Islamorada or just passing through on your way to Key West, this place is a must-visit. Simply delicious!

My and family and I were staying at Islamorada for several days and checked out Midway Cafe and Coffee Bar for breakfast. I loved the bright, colorful eclectic decor, and local art. The service was good and the food was great. We liked Midway Cafe so much that we came went there a few times during our stay. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to grab lunch/breakfast. My family stopped here on our way back from Key West to Homestead. Has both outdoor and indoor seating. Lots of food & drink options as well. Very fresh food too. I got the ‘Everyone’s Favorite Sandwich’ and it was delicious. My dad got the club wrap and loved it. Right off the road. 10/10 recommend.

We stopped here on our way out of the keys and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. We had the green egg sandwich, single pancake, coffee and my husband made his own sandwich. Free refills on coffee, superb food! 10/10 definitely stop. Also the most reasonably priced spot!

The outdoor bar hosts nightly sunset celebrations featuring performances by bands like The Dana Collins Band and Mr. Nice Guy Band. Their backcountry yellowtail snapper, encrusted with Parmesan and drizzled with citrus-spiked beurre blanc, is a must-try dish for an authentic taste of the Keys.
Go for sunset and stay for the music and food! The atmosphere was everything you would want for an island vibe. Chris, the bartender, was fast and efficient and so friendly. Out server, Dale, didn’t miss a beat and made we sure knew what to order for the best meal.

The food was mediocre I thought. The lobster nor the steak had much flavor. My wife said her fish tacos were really good. The staff was friendly. It was outside dining and the flies were bad. The view was amazing. We all thought it would be a great place to go back and have drinks with friends. Not a dinner destination that we would return to.
Tony A — Google review
Did dinner here on vacation. Our 2nd time dining here and highly recommend. They had a lobster special where it was fried and accompanied by a mango salsa. Yum. Macaroni and cheese was a bit plain but delicious (you can add pulled pork, lobster, shrimp or bacon and jalapeño for an upcharge.
Tiffany R — Google review
We checked out this place recently and we enjoyed it. Our waitress was Amy and she was very nice and efficient. I got the burger/fries ($20.45) and my wife got the fish tacos ($18.95). My burger was wonderful and so were the fries. My wife said that fish tacos lacked flavor. The view was nice and parking was easy.

View at sunset is magical 😍 Now about the food! Disappointing lobster. Waitress had difficulties with separating the bill. Also waitress added 20% tip for party of 8. That was fine but she was disappointed that we didn't tip more. She actually came out and asked what she did wrong. Not good. So watch your bill for sure.

Great little place tucked away, right on the water in Islemorada. Not quite in the hidden gem genre, but most certainly an off the beaten path stop if you're on your way to Key West. Right on the water, all tables offer a great view. Service is friendly and courteous. Food and drinks are all excellent. Definitely a recommended stop.

Food was fantastic! My husband had the blackened snapper and I had the coconut shrimp. The service was great and the view was even better! Definitely a dining highlight to our trip

The perfect “Keys” vibe. Beautiful waterfront setting for sunset views. Bar feels like something from a Jimmy Buffet song. Bartender was amazing: friendly, moving a hundred miles an hour and fun to watch. And it wasn’t even busy. Conch fritters were perfectly done and our fish was also fresh and nicely prepared. This isn’t fine dining, but delicious and such a fun setting. My girlfriend (in her 50’s) grew up coming here and it was so great to see nothing has really changed since she was a kid. Places like this are what make the Keys so special and unique. May they be here another 50 years!

Island Grill is a seafood-focused eatery located on the water, offering stunning views and live music every night. The restaurant serves traditional Jamaican favorites in a fast-food setting, with a diverse menu including jerk chicken, mango barbecue, and grilled options at affordable prices. One of its highlights is the award-winning tuna nachos made with fresh Ahi grade tuna served on sesame seaweed salad over crispy wantons.
We stopped in for a quick lunch and have no complaints. The service, food, and atmosphere were all great so I wouldn’t mind coming back when I’m in the area. We sat by the water and watched people on their boats pull up to have a bite to eat as well. One thing to note is that it’s all open but there are fans and typically some good breezes passing through.

Food was ok, service took a little bit of time to seat us (around 20 minutes). Inside was relatively empty by time we were seated since it was late. Waitress was nice. Outside seating has great view onto bay, though we opted for indoor seating since it was ready sooner. None of the entrees were very good, all mediocre at best. Fun desserts, on oddly large plates. Probably wouldn’t come again.

Had a delicious lunch to end our trip to the Florida Keys and the Island Grill did not disappoint! The service was wonderful, the view was beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant if your stopping by in or out of the Keys! My family and I can't wait to go there again next time we are in the Keys.

This laid-back waterside restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere with a refreshing breeze, offering bar seating, indoor dining, and ample outdoor tables. Visited on a July weekday, it was quiet, and I was promptly greeted and seated. The restrooms were clean, and the venue was well-maintained. Drink enthusiasts will appreciate the extensive options at both the indoor and outdoor bars. I ordered the Thai coconut curry grouper, served with two filets and rice. The fish was perfectly cooked and authentically grouper. The rice was parboiled, though jasmine would have been preferable. The curry lacked spice and was somewhat bland. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a great vibe. I’ll return to try another dish.

I'm so glad I found this place! The food was fresh and delicious, and the location was perfect! We sat in the 'open-air' dining area and were 5 feet from the water. Absolutely worth the drive! Wow the food is amazing, it’s like an explosion of flavors. Every dish we had was on point. The ambiance very pleasant, the gentleman who took our order very polite and took the time to explain some things on the menu. Highly recommended. Very clean, plenty of parking and almost all the paintings are for sale.

Yummy local spot for breakfast or lunch in Islamorada. The menu is huge and all of the food is made to order by the server and cook, who is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend the crepes, which were warm and tasty. South Beach was pretty delicious but would change the gelato flavor to something less artificial tasting. Pastries were also tasty! Sandwiches were okay. Would probably come again for breakfast.

An excellent and quaint spot for brunch! We got one of their savory crepes, a quiche, and a croissant and were not disappointed. The quiche was served with a salad that had the most delicious balsamic dressing we’ve ever had. In addition to the delicious food, the atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming. The man working was so kind and took great care of us. 10/10 would recommend!

This local road side cafe was recommended by a friend who's parents live down the road and it did not disappoint. My wife and I had a couple of crepes and a cappuccino. It's not fine dining but a friendly roadside cafe. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the gratuity being included, but this is standard practice in the area because there are so many foreign tourists who do not tip. It's the same way in Miami.
Jarvis B — Google review
I have a weakness for crepes but I also need protein in the morning. This place has it all. Espresso drinks made well. Savory crepes, I got the Miami that had turkey (I switched to ham), spinach, and Gruyère cheese. So many choices , huge, well made and very authentic.

This is the most authentic French breakfast I have ever had. The crustless quiche was huge. I had a hot breve hazelnut and it was 10/10. The crepes are very good and very large. Bring your appetite.

Unbelievable rip-off!!!! we wanted to do a brief stop, my two kids of 15 and 12 years and myself and have a coffee. We decided also to have some croissant, I had to latte and my daughter an iced latte. Originally we wanted to take it away, then we decided to stay in order not to leave all the croissant remains in our car. I was quite shocked about the total amount, without being asked he added $6.50 as a tip although we picked it up at the counter and there was no service. In my opinion, the complete rip off Almost 40 bucks for two coffees and three croissants.

This place is a little gold mine. Extremely friendly staff that welcomes you. Great selection of foods and wines and very reasonable prices. Separate lunch and dinner menus with a child's menu as well. We had a Philly Cheesesteak and a Blackened Chicken Ceasar Salad. Also a side order of Onion rings. Everything was cooked properly and tasted terrific. We'll be coming back for sure while we're down in Islamorada.

Local gem - Always great! Don’t forget to check out the specials board, which changes daily. You can find updates on their Facebook page. Italian Wednesday specials are my FAVORITE. I’ve gone for lunch, dinner, and often take out and never had a meal I didn’t enjoy. The owner and staff are always kind and attentive.

I have had many dishes from here. The tuna sub and the pasta salad was awesome. For dinner I have had the shrimp Diablo which was so good, spicy but in a good way. Also I have had the chicken parmesan. All portions are very generous was able to get multiple meals from one dinner. Oh and let me tell you the bread is amazing. So good. Family members have gotten the blackened shrimp tacos and loved them. That said if you just want a great burger then come here perfect every time. Great flavors too all the dishes. Great place to eat lunch or dinner. They even deliver and the delivery guy was very nice . Can't say enough about the food they seem to hit it out of the park every time. One more thing giant cookie to go with you lunch. Or save it for when you have coffee. I had s'mores cookie it was a meal all by its self. Big enough to share if you really love the one your with. What a delightful treat! A little taste of France in the middle of Keys. We had breakfast with quiche and almond croissants. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is bright and inviting. Best of all coffee was amazing and green tea delightful. Overall, great breakfast experience. Highly recommend.

LOVED this lil "grab & go" coffee shop!!! Very charming and relaxing, and surrounded by similarly charming local "Mom & Pop" shops in Village Square here. I stopped in as I was early to be Wedding DJ&MC for an Islamorada wedding. Ya gotta stop by! Well worth a visit, as it's a relaxing break. Zana was very helpful and kind. Wish they had more menu options like their slightly up the road Tavernier location, but it's more of a grab & go concept. Relaxing outdoor garden. Highly recommend!!

Waste of time & 10$ 😭 Coffee sucked 🥲The girl didn’t tamp espresso at all.. Kinda tastes like sweet water. I tried to be nice when I asked about it but they got mad at me for saying anything. The ice melted instantly because they did it in a weird order (iced the milk) it’s whatever. No offense to them, BUT GO TO MIDWAY CAFE INSTEAD !!!!!! People are starving places but it was one of those times you splurge on a coffee and you get it and think “well this sucks”. Train your staff better, not even for me (i’ll never stop by here again), do it for everyone else 🙏🏻

It’s a beautiful place, this is the second Cafe Moka in the keys and even though the cafe itself is very small, it is nested in a group of different little vendors, making it cozy and pleasant. It was really hot this weekend and we only could stay a couple of minutes but will comeback when it’s a bit colder or at least 85 or under. I had a dirty matcha (cold matcha with an espresso shot) and was great but didn’t have anything to eat (too hot to eat outside) but everything looked and smelled so good! Will return as this place is cute!

Came to Islamorada for a bachelorette party and wound up coming to Cafe Moka 3 days in a row. The latte was delicious and the service was great! Didn’t get any food, but I’m sure it was amazing!

We got a ham and cheese croissant out of the fridge there and two coffees. I asked if she could heat up the croissant (there is an over right behind her, all she needs to do is put it in and press start). She said I am closing soon (in 30 min) so my ovens are all off. That’s seriously bad service and the croissant tasted old.

I’m a half year resident in Islamorada and used to travel Cafe Moka in Key Largo for their coffee, almond croissant and salads. Now they are located in the back of Village Square in Islamorada so we go there to pick up baked goods and coffee. Almond croissant and poppy seed muffins were so fresh and good. Beautiful outdoor seating in lush landscape.

We were hoping for the perfect date night during our stay and my hubby surprised me with a reservation for dinner. We were seated right away but our table was really lacking and we didn’t have a view of anything but bushes. If they could be trimmed a little lower, the entire ocean could be in full view. We requested another table but the hostess stated that this is where the next rotation was being seated. However, the live acoustic music in the background was beautiful and welcoming. The menu was a real let down, it had very few option and all of which had to be “enhanced” which is just another upcharge. I ended up selecting a salad, “enhanced” with chicken for more than $36. It was good, but not great. The rib-eye was AMAZING, probably the best we’d ever had. The sear was perfect and the glaze delicious. It was just a piece of meat unless you “enhance” it. So we “enhanced” a side of garlic fries. Meh. Dinner for two was over $130 not including the tip and we both left not quite full. Our server was very attentive and kind, she really did a great job. The hostess and the busser were loud and a little obnoxious in their conversations, but we were literally sitting right by them. When the tables were being cleared, chairs were dragged, dishes were loudly stacked. It reminded me of a bustling cafe than fine dining. Patrons and families walked through with bathing suits and beach gear. It was all just a little off, not the atmosphere we were anticipating. More than likely, we won’t be back.

It’s Cheeca..it’s amazing! Had a little snack while hanging out at the pool. Buffalo teriyaki wings were the BEST wings I’ve ever eaten. Berry happy mojito was sooo good.

DO NOT DINE HERE. Where to start. From the moment my husband and I walked in, we got a bad taste in our mouth. The hostess did not greet us, smile, anything. It seemed that we were inconveniencing her with our presence. Instead, I said hello, and informed her we had reservations. She was looking over my shoulder the whole time, maybe looking for her other hostess(who had both AirPods in the entire time we were there)? Not sure, but it didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. She asked for our name, but didn’t ever look at her ipad to confirm anything. We called previously to reserve a waterside table, which was not available when we arrived. I moved past the table issue & tried not to let it get to me, even though it is our anniversary and I called specifically to get that arranged for us. Then it took probably 10 minutes for our server to stop by the table. She also seemed to be talking to a table for the first time. We got our order in, and then waited AN HOUR for a medium filet & fried fish to arrive. That’s when we drew the line. The potatoes were ice cold, my filet was cut into pieces… and there was a VERY obvious black hair on my plate. We waited a good 5 minutes before the server came to check on us, and obviously it’s not her fault so we asked to speak to a manager. We could see him the whole time all of our issues were going on, because he was standing at a table with an older couple, who also had many problems. Our poor server tried to get his attention for at least 5 minutes, but he didn’t even look up at her. What a shame. I am not exaggerating, three other tables had problems with their food, out of the maybe fifteen tables in the whole restaurant. As someone who has worked in the service industry their whole life, do better. What a joke of a restaurant this is. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. The hype does not match what you are getting. The WORST service I have ever had. One star is more than I’d give this establishment. 0 stars for 0 dinner. Left hungry and went to Chef Michael’s, where the service has been phenomenal from the moment we stepped on property!

Best view on the town for dinner! Had an wonderful date night with girlfriend for our first evening in The Keys. If you love seafood, try the octopus for a appetizer and I highly recommend the scallop and shrimp entree. Our server Matt was incredibly attentive and knew the menu very well. The desserts we tried were outrageously delicious too. Chocolate lovers get the hazelnut chocolate bomb and of course the key lime pie is a must in the keys. All this while listening to live guitar on the oceanfront. Reservations were easy to make online. They have a valet option for parking. All staff is friendly at the resort and gladly answered any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Robbie's of Islamorada is a renowned marina that offers a variety of activities for visitors. It is famous for the opportunity to feed tarpon, which are surprisingly large fish, and has become a popular tourist attraction. In addition to tarpon feeding, the marina features an open-air marketplace, jet ski rentals, boat cruises, and a waterfront restaurant. The area also has an interesting backstory about Scarface that locals can share with visitors.
Robbie’s is my favorite place to go! They have the best gift shop, nice employees, and the most delicious coffee from the coffee truck. Feeding the Tarpon is the most fun experience. It’s something you can only do at a few places and it’s a such a unique encounter. Makes for great photos. Their bathroom is also one of the most well kept restrooms in any vacation spot. They also have lots of boating and adventure experiences available. Canoeing through the mangroves is one of my favorites.
Candiss A — Google review
What an awesome experience! Just the grounds alone are so cool and full of fun little photo ops, it has a very chill island vibe feel. Feeding the tarpon was a cool experience as well, earlier in the day there were even nurse sharks near the dock. The restaurant was perfect! We got to sit right next to the water and the locals even shared some of their knowledge with us. Our waiters name was Chris (I believe, if I’m wrong I apologize) and he was top notch! Just one of the coolest nicest guys around. He recommended dishes for us and made sure we were very well taken care of. There were some mosquitoes and noseeum’s out and he even offered us some bug spray. Our food was beyond phenomenal, I can’t say enough about it. We had everything from shrimp, to local caught fish, to chicken and it was all perfection. The young girl in the shop was so sweet and even introduced us to the manager (a cat). Everything about this place was just perfect. We will definitely be back everytime we’re in the area!

Great stop in Islamorada! Can grab a beer and feed the tarpon which are huge! Very exciting for all ages. Entry is cheap and fully worth it. Also little shops and just great vibes all around. A must see! Went end of October so it was not busy at all.
Dawn D — Google review
Really cool stop along the highway to get out and eat, rest your feet, and see some cool stuff. Feeding the sharks was a really cool experience. You can buy a bucket of fish and it might seem gimmicky on the website, but I did find it worth it. Especially if you have kids, it’s a great interactive experience and memory. There are tons of shops and ice cream trucks and a restaurant if you’re looking for food or just a change of scenery and some shade.
Britt — Google review
Robbie’s is a must-stop in the Keys if you’re looking for adventure and a true local vibe. Feeding the giant tarpon is the highlight—an experience you won’t forget. They leap right out of the water and it’s exciting for both kids and adults. Beyond that, you can rent kayaks, go on snorkeling or fishing trips, or just enjoy the waterfront views. The place also has small shops and stalls around, which makes it fun to walk around, grab a souvenir, or pick up something local. The on-site restaurant and bar are lively, serving good food and drinks with a laid-back Keys atmosphere. It can get busy, but that’s part of the charm. Overall, Robbie’s is more than just a stop—it’s a full experience with activities, food, shopping, and views all in one spot.
Rohit P — Google review
Popped in as had seen good reviews. Didn’t disappoint. Glad we stopped, lovely few market stalls / shops to look around then paid to see tarpons being fed and pelicans stealing the fish. Didn’t eat here but food smelled lovely.
Lorraine L — Google review
So I have to say feeding the tarpon at Robbie‘s was absolutely an amazing experience. The food was good but Taste like every other restaurant nothing stood out to be oh I go back for this food I would definitely go back to feed the tarpon to take friends to see it and the little shops they have out. Front of the restaurant are really awesome. Just the whole experience in general was absolutely amazing but I wouldn’t tell you to just stop there for the food, but definitely go check out the tarpon you’ll have a blast.
Ghost — Google review
This was recommended to us by one of the locals. It was absolutely brilliant and I totally recommend. You buy a bucket of fish for $5 and you can feed the tarpon. Great fun. You can stop for food, drink, browse shops. A definite tourist stop recommendation

Harriette's Restaurant is a historic and beloved establishment in Key Largo, Florida, with over 30 years of tradition. This cozy yellow shack offers a welcoming family atmosphere and serves delicious down-home breakfast and lunch favorites. While it may not be a fancy modern eatery, it has garnered top rankings on various platforms for its American and Vegetarian-Friendly cuisine. One of the highlights is their homemade giant muffins in flavors like key lime, dulce de leche, and bacon maple.
This is a small little diner with the world’s best muffins!! They are known for their large variety of dozens of flavors. The breakfast food was delicious and our server was the best! There isn’t a lot of space so their may be a wait - also the parking is a bit tight. Definitely worth the visit if you love breakfast and little niche diners!

They are known for their muffins and I can see why. I had the Harriet breakfast which came with one of their famous muffin. I tried their key lime pie one. Hot, moist, truly a super yummy muffin. Place only op3n from 6 am to 3 pm and yes sometimes parking can be tricky. But so worth the wait. Small, always packed house.

I saw this restaurant on YouTube before my trip, I'm glad I did! I had the biscuits and gravy, full order (you can get a 1/2 order). I could only eat 1/2, lol. It was delicious 😋. We also shared a piece of key lime pie and took 2 muffins to go. Everything was great. The service was top notch too. It's a quaint, tropical location. Totally worth stopping!

Great little breakfast spot! Service is friendly and super efficient. Harriette’s is known for muffins (a huge selection of flavors) and biscuits. While the muffins were tempting, we opted for an omelette and a pancake. They were large enough to share and were excellent. A biscuit that came with the omelette was more cake-like than flaky. It was good, just not my preferred biscuit type. I’d definitely stop here again and would try it for lunch too.
J G — Google review
The food here is fantastic. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Not too spicy and perfect consistency for the grits. The shrimp are cooked to perfection. Maybe my new favorite dish. A bit crowded in the mornings considering the small space. At times it can feel warm, but it’s worth it considering The quality of food and service. The muffins are next level. Highly recommend the guava muffin.

We’ve explored so many great spots to eat around Key Largo, but this place’s breakfast truly stands out as unforgettable. Carlos’s Huevos Rancheros, with the chorizo nestled underneath, is simply phenomenal — the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the dish is a genuine delight. They make their own hot sauce, which complements the rancheros perfectly, striking the ideal harmony between heat and flavor. Their avocado toast, topped with creamy avocado, scrambled eggs, and fresh, delicious tomatoes, is served over their homemade biscuits and is absolutely unforgettable. Don’t miss their Key Lime muffins — they’re divine. Trust me, you’ll want to thank me for this recommendation!

I have passed this location many times not knowing that I was missing out… this coffee shop is incredible! Delicious and balanced coffee (I had a iced macchiato which was perfect) tried their cortadito and the matcha latte and they were wonderful made as well. Also some of their baked goods like the almond croissant and a pound cake which were equally delicious. Their decoration is open fresh and so relaxing, such well taste placing all the tables and wall decor. Stopped by Cafe Moka in Tavernier this morning for a Java pick me up… cute location in a small house located on US 1. Staff were friendly, and service was great. We had a couple of large lattes, which were good, but could have been more hot when served. We also ordered one of the almond croissants, which was delicious, but a bit overcooked in our opinion. All in all, good coffee, and good breakfast eats…. they also have a nice selection of lunch items as well. Recommend Cafe Moka!

The cafe is in an old building (church). Went for coffees and an almond croissant. Nice menu selection. Interior space was nice with a cool Instagrammable wall\sofa combo. We sat out front, but the table was super wobbly and the traffic was a bit noisy so id recommend sitting in the garden out back or on the side.

We come to Islamorada every year for our anniversary, and we usually go to that location, but this trip, we switched to the Tavernier location since the Islamorada location ran out of quiche at 9:00 AM, and the staff was not very pleasant. The Cafe Moka here in Tavernier is amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful, service is quick, & the atmosphere is so fun. Located in Islamorada, Florida Keys, the Islander Resort has undergone a 17-month renovation to elevate its offerings. The resort spans 24 acres from ocean to bay and features 114 rooms including beachfront suites, ocean view bungalows, and Bayside Villas with boat slips. The Outrigger Suite offers a full kitchen and hot tub with views of the private beach.
e stayed at Island Resort in Islamorada, Florida, in June, and we have to say – it’s one of the most beautiful and best resorts we’ve seen in the United States. Absolutely stunning design. It’s nothing like the typical American style – you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought and investment into every detail. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the entire resort feels like a dream – almost like being in the Maldives. Of course, the beach isn’t quite like the Maldives, but the setting is magical: lush green paths, brand-new bungalows, all surrounded by nature. I was honestly speechless that a place like this exists in the U.S. The value for money is outstanding. We’ve stayed at much worse hotels for the same price. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Florida Keys. You don’t have to stay in Key West – this resort is only about two hours away and offers an experience you won’t find elsewhere for the price. The feeling of sipping a cocktail after sunset, maybe taking a dip in the pool, grabbing a small bite to eat – all while surrounded by beautiful colors, natural materials, and thoughtful architecture – is simply amazing. I’m not a friend, relative, or someone who knows the owners. I have no idea who they are. I’m just a former hotel owner who truly appreciates when someone puts so much care into the small things – the furniture, the layout, the details. It’s just

My husband and I had an amazing vacation at Islander Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and took care of every detail. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had beautiful views of the water. The resort itself is well-maintained, with plenty of amenities to enjoy, from the pool to the activity tiki hut with literally anything you would want to do. We loved riding bikes, fishing off the pier, being able to relax and unwind in such a peaceful setting, and the location was perfect for exploring local shops and restaurants. Every interaction with the staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay truly stress-free. We also went right down the street to Cheeca Lodge and Resort and jumped on a boat for a sandbar tour! It was a highlight and so fun and beautiful! Highly recommend Islander Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, it’s the perfect spot for a couples’ vacation! And a special shoutout to Sarah, who made booking and our stay extra special!

We chose The Islander for a family Wedding Celebration. The staff was wonderful. From check in to departure everyone I encountered went above and beyond. The General Manager Joy and Event planner Jennifer made the whole experience a pleasure. The resort is remodeled and has lots to do. It offers a lot of activities that are included as well. Paddle boards, pickleball, bikes, kayaks, yoga, fishing, bonfires, movie night at the pool and a putting green. They have a shuttle that will take you within a few miles of the resort The beds are so comfortable that I want to know what brand mattress it is. The rooms have impact doors and windows which makes it so quiet. The grounds are beautiful and pristine. Thet have two EV chargers. They have several places to eat onsite. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great experience the front desk associate is amazing! I wish I recalled her name but she had short blonde hair. Her customer service was over the top. The food was amazing and the manager was also very accommodating. The overall resort had every accommodation for kids bikes, pool, volleyball, and more. The pool area was beautiful! I highly recommend this resort for families or couples!

Sarah at the front desk was amazing. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. The room was paradise. The pool bar was accommodating and the fresh squeezed juice in the heat was a balm in the heat. Their activities were fun and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Ralph for the hospitality. We did the Sunset cruise, highly recommended.

We had originally planned to stay elsewhere, but my wife has a severe mold allergy and the other resort couldn’t accommodate us. After checking a couple of our past go-to spots without success, we ended up at Islander Resort—where we were greeted by EXTREMELY friendly staff. Angela and Monica went above and beyond by ofering to show us a couple of rooms so we could be certain my wife wouldn’t have any issues. The very first room we saw was perfect—spotless, fresh, and absolutely no mold—so no need to look any further. From there, everything only got better. The resort itself is beautiful, and the staff are some of the friendliest we’ve ever encountered. Everyone greeted us warmly and genuinely cared about how our stay was going. Madison kept the drinks strong and perfectly balanced at Tides Bar, and the food at Drift exceeded our expectations. There’s so much to do throughout the resort, and the views are simply breathtaking. We absolutely could not have asked for a better experience.

Most beautiful resort we have ever been to. We got an upgraded pool cabana room and it was absolutely amazing! So much to do and included on the property! Most amount of included activities at any resort we have been to.

The Islands of Islamorada Resort is situated in the heart of Islamorada, known as the sport-fishing capital of the world. The resort offers a range of amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a private beach area with water sports facilities. Guests can enjoy sea views from their accommodations and have access to a bar on-site.
Had the most gorgeous stay at The Islands of Islamorada! The villas are impeccably clean and well decorated. Beautiful views of the sunrise and well-kept grounds. There's a bunch of games and activities to do. Perfectly sized resort where you feel like you are on your own private vacation but there's still some activity going on around you. Will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely perfect! This is probably the best resort we've ever been too. The grounds had everything with fantastic location and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The service was outstanding from the front desk to the workers on the beach that carved up coconuts to drink or set up kayaks to get in the water with. We went with our 2 toddlers (2 and 3 years old). It was the perfect vacation w them. They had beach toys ready to go, 2 playgrounds, and lawn games to play with. Often times it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves. The 1 bedroom Villa was spacious, extremely clean, 2 TVs, refrigerator, robes, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying the private beach, or just taking in the gorgeous views, everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful family vacation at the Islands of Islamorada. The villa was gorgeous and perfect for our needs. The view was beautiful and the grounds were meticulously maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the property, hitting biodegradable golf balls off the pier, taking in the beautiful sunrises, and morning yoga on the Friday of our stay. Staff was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

I don’t have the words to explain just how beautiful this resort is. It’s so relaxing, has the best views, close proximity to restaurants and all kinds of amazing things to do. The staff is exceptional; they really are the cherry on top. Overall, it was a beautiful experience.

Five-Star Review: Islands of Islamorada The Islands of Islamorada is a true gem nestled in the heart of the Florida Keys. As a real estate agent, I had the privilege of touring this stunning property with a client, and I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this exclusive, gated resort community. Located just off the Old Highway at Mile Marker 82.7, this enclave perfectly combines luxury, privacy, and investment potential. The gleaming white architecture of the 22 stand-alone villas and Ocean House suites is a striking contrast against the lush landscaping of mature coconut palms and vibrant bougainvillea. The serene Atlantic Ocean views and the private beach access make this a paradise for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Each villa is thoughtfully designed to maximize outdoor space while maintaining privacy, making it ideal for multi-generational vacations or high-end rentals. The interiors exude seaside chic elegance, with light-filled spaces that perfectly frame the surrounding ocean blues and coconut forests. As a Realtor specializing in real estate in Islamorada, I was particularly impressed by the variety of amenities this property offers. Two sparkling swimming pools, a private marina, state-of-the-art fitness center, and pickleball courts cater to every lifestyle need, while the community’s private beach offers a rare retreat. For those considering an investment, the villas start at $4,950,000 and are eligible for vacation rentals, making this an excellent opportunity for generating income in a highly desirable location. The combination of luxury, location, and functionality truly sets this property apart. This is truly a five-star property for anyone seeking the perfect blend of leisure, luxury, and investment potential!

Starbucks is a renowned coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering its distinctive roasts, light snacks, and WiFi access. Customers can conveniently order their drinks online for quick pickup inside the store. The staff at various locations are known for their friendliness and attentiveness to ensure customers receive the correct orders. One particular Starbucks at the Postcard Inn offers a unique experience with its picturesque location between two beautiful bridges in Florida Keys.
If you are in the keys, I would highly recommend this location! It is way better than the one in Marathon and the staff is really great. I had a great interaction with the ladies here and loved their welcoming spirit. My wife’s drink is complicated, so for them to take my suggestions, make it and it taste absolutely perfect was a win for me! Note: Starbucks is expensive in the keys but real estate and the cost of living here is also very high.

Amazing experience here at this Starbucks in the Keys. Beautiful with lots of outdoor seating, the shop was very well organized and stocked up. I had fantastic service from Latisha, so kind, patient and attentive. If you want a delicious drink this stop should be on your radar!!
Rachel C — Google review
Latisha was amazing! She heard it was my birthday and made me the most amazing Grande Salted Carmel Cold Foam Cold Brew. The crew was engaging and having a good time. That’s why we purchase overpriced coffee- the atmosphere! Great job ladies.

Love this place! Latisha made a fresh pour over for the best sunsera coffee especially for us! Wonderful service, great team, good mood, good vibes. Always stopp here while on the Keys. CU soon
Aline V — Google review
This Starbucks has one of the most stunning views I’ve seen from any coffee shop. Whether you’re grabbing a seat by the window or just stopping in for a quick drink, the natural light and scenery outside make it a calm and refreshing place to recharge. What truly set my visit apart was the amazing service from Latisha. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, the kind of person who makes your day better with just a smile. She handled everything with care and even took the time to make sure my drink was just right. You can tell she really enjoys what she does, and it shows. Latisha brought such positive energy to the whole experience, and it’s people like her that make you want to keep coming back. Highly recommend this location for the view and the vibes! 😆☕️🎊

Coffee was good as always. Ordered 2 coffees . My wife's coffee came quickly but my coffee was sitting on the counter by the coffee machine while 2 of the staff members were in a conversation and ,I guess, forgot about me even though I was standing at the pick up counter. A third employee came, saw me standing there and asked if I needed anything. She was the one that then gave me my coffee.

Great location the best staff of ladies working here as I was lost since I'm not a regular customer. They immediately noticed and helped me out and guided me in the right direction. Made my iced latte taste amazing. This team of ladies is a great team, I feel management should really consider giving them all a raise they deserve it.
