My wife and I recently dined at Station 400 for breakfast, drawn in by its downtown location and the positive buzz surrounding it. As part of NXTGEN Marketing Group, which has been in business since 2011 and has a former partnership with the Food Network, we pride ourselves on providing accurate and honest reviews that reach a very large audience—over 150,000 views a week, placing us in the top 10% on Google. While the atmosphere at Station 400 was inviting, and our waitress was wonderful—attentive and friendly—our food experience fell short of expectations. I ordered pancakes that were unfortunately dense and heavy, with an overwhelming flour taste that detracted from the enjoyment. My wife’s eggs were overcooked, lacking the light and fluffy texture we anticipated. On a positive note, the coffee was fantastic—rich and flavorful, and definitely a highlight of our meal. We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, and we sincerely hope that our experience is not reflective of the usual standard at Station 400. With a menu that likely offers many great options, we encourage others to give it a try. Our visit was just an unfortunate case, and we're hopeful that future diners will have a better experience. We may consider returning in the future to explore more of what they have to offer.

We enjoyed a Sunday brunch here with my family of 4 and grandpa. We ordered cappuccinos with almond milk (great coffee), orange juice for my kiddos and avocado toast w/hash browns (the guacamole wasn't the best), truffle eggs Benedict (really good dish) and bacon salted pancakes (portion of 3 was great for my youngest and couldn't finish it). We waited around 15 minutes to be seated (it was crowded), and then the service was a bit slow but our server was friendly and diligent (she had many tables to serve). The place is cozy and lively. We paid $100 (1 coffee, 1 orange juice, 3 cappuccinos, and 5 dishes) We'll definitely come back if we're around again.

Loved the train vibe in here! Our waitress was super nice & made us her favorite off the menu coffee which was delicious. We came for brunch with a group of 7 and were able to be seated right away. We shared the French toast bites to start & they were delicious. They have a wide variety of breakfast & lunch options. The waffle sausage comes with two & gave a sausage pancake on a stick vibe - in the best way. It was great. The hash browns were also nice & crispy! Everyone enjoyed, which is a win with a large group!

Traditional breakfast place with a cool interior. I was a little sad to see some of the items were no longer on the menu, but I got the avocado toast and it was tasty. I think I was given decaf coffee instead of regular bc even after two cups I didn’t feel anything. Still, it was a neat experience and a cool place to visit.

Great brunch spot with lots of mimosa flavor options, breakfast food is exceptional. We ordered the Crabby Patty (crab cake breakfast with sauteed spinach) and the Steak & Eggs. For breakfast food especially, it was very flavorful with savory sauces. The atmosphere was nice, it was crowded but no wait time for indoor seating. Even the toast was nice- I got the cinnamon raisin with strawberry jam. Great quality breakfast food at low cost!

I am not sure what else I can say about the Trifecta… I could have kicked the plate. Yes, I was hungry; but the truth is, the eggs were scrambled perfectly, the waffle was crisp, the bacon… 🥓. Well, it was great. The dish comes with a berry compote. What a fantastic combination and great start to the day. I come here regularly because they are consistent with food quality and cleanliness.

This is a beautifully placed First watch in the Sarasota downtown area, surrounded by beautiful nature, buildings and places of interest. We got together to celebrate my baby's 40th b'day. The food was delicious, our server Elyse was outstanding. She was willing to please and accommodate some difficult request from some members of our party. She did all the changes requested, with a smile and great attitude. Kudos to the kitchen staff as well. They did an amazing job at pleasing everyone. I highly recommend this place.

My Honest Review of C'est La Vie I absolutely love French bakery-style coffee shops, and this cozy spot with its authentic French touch was perfect for a relaxed brunch. My go-to dish at places like this is always the *Croque Monsieur*, and I have to say—it was delicious! The flavor was spot on, the cheese perfectly melted, and the sandwich was neither too dry nor soggy. The potatoes on the side were a great complement—not greasy at all, with a nicely balanced flavor. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like them. The cappuccino was exactly how I prefer it—bold and strong, with that rich European touch. Beautiful place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have a bakery where you can just get sweets for your sweet tooth. Food is amazing and well prepared. They provide complimentary baguette while you wait for your food. Espresso and other beverages are done well. Service is fast and friendly. Beautiful place to come and relax with friends and/or family and enjoy great food!!!

The food here c'est bon! It is good! Love the pastries and their wide selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service is quick and staff are professional. I've eaten both inside and outside on the patio area. Both times were all pleasant for me. Definitely indulge in their pastries if you go.

We were trying to find the restaurant monkey waffles and stopped a couple walking down the road and ask him if they knew where it was. They recommend it c'est la vie restaurant that they frequent often. They were out for their daily walk and suggested to follow the road to main Street and will basically be able to park right there on the street. We parked a short distance away from c'est la vie restaurant. They had tables out front that people were seating outside such as they have in Europe cafes. As we walked inside we were greeted by the employees and owner and facing the pastry display case in front of us. Everything look delicious and of course we took some French pastries home. But we ate breakfast outside at one of the tables. I had the half Bayonne sandwich and house salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My wife had a sweet crepe banana, Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream. The food was fresh and extra ordinary, the atmosphere inside and out of the restaurant bakery was reminiscent of a good European Cafe and service was excellent. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast, Danish we're going fast so I recommend getting there early. Parking was on the streets and you have to pay to park.

On our getaway to lido key we stopped for a delicious brunch . Had , a salmon croissant , and a baguette sandwich , fresh orange juice. And fruit tart with madame tart 😘 delicious. And freshly made

The Breakfast House was a great way to end our vacation. Real country home setting, warm greetings at the door, adequate seating, and the food was amazing. Shrimp and grits and uncle Harry’s breakfast were our choices, everything was good. And the fact everyone had a smile on their face showed me it wasn’t just us. Great place to enjoy a good meal and get away from the big copy and paste chains. Will definitely be back.

The small yellow house holds a few indoor seats, but we opted for the breezy patio, where fans kept the air moving. We went with the blueberry pancakes instead of the island version (filled with coconut and roasted pineapple) since blueberries are in season. They were good, forgettable—about a 3.5 out of 5. They don’t serve lattes, so I had black tea with milk, which was a bit of a let down for me personally. My husband had coffee, and they were generous with refills, which was a nice touch. For his meal, he ordered an egg sandwich on a croissant with cheddar cheese (vegetarian-friendly). Nothing remarkable, but it was warm, quick, and again about a 3.5 out of 5. Service was super efficient but a bit brusque BUT understandable since the server was clearly juggling a lot. Free parking is just steps from the entrance. For $35.50 for our meal without tip., not too expensive. Overall, come here if you want quick, easy, kid-friendly, and predictable fare in a fun, beachy setting.

I’ve been coming to The Breakfast House for years, and it’s always had that classic Old Florida charm that makes it such a gem in Sarasota. The servers are consistently kind and welcoming, and the cozy, tropical vibe makes it a fun spot for both locals and tourists looking for that “Florida feel.” Personally, I think the food quality has declined a bit over the years, which is the only reason it’s not a full five stars for me. Still, it’s a great place with great vibes and worth a visit for sure!

I came here for the first time today and it might be the best brunch I’ve had in Sarasota! The atmosphere was spectacular, the staff were so nice, and the food was just incredible. We had the lemon blueberry pancakes and they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had by far. We also had the caprese eggs Benedict’s and it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

This was our first time here and it was out of this world!!! This was the best breakfast we ever had in a long time! My wife had the blueberry lavender pancakes and I had the Uncle Harry's breakfast w/ chocolate chip pancakes. Ashley was our waitress and she was 100%!! She was great and was very patient with us since it was our first time here! Her recommendations was on point! We visit Sarasota/ Anna Maria Island every year for our vacation.. Smaller breakfast restaurant with about 10 tables inside and a few outside. There always seems to be a wait, but their breakfast was worth the 40 minute wait. The coffee was good, though not exceptional, but the dishes were absolutely amazing. And gluten free options are available. The service was very slow, but maybe they were short staffed that day.

Terrific food! We went for a Saturday brunch and enjoyed both their traditional and salmon eggs Benedict as well as their Brave One meaty omelette. We also enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice and pumpkin spice latte. Wish there were more tables. Think they would be full. Will definitely return!

This morning I found myself in a quaint atmospheric restaurant with a rotating menu with a fun little surprise for today they offered a special menu item consisting of lobster, mixed greens and a made-in-house mayonnaise on a toasted roll that tasted both fresh and tangy.

Delicious and cozy. Really friendly staff. My kid and I sat at the bar. Great playlist. Loved the vibe. The Sunnyside burger was huge! They made it gluten free for my kid - hence the toast instead of a bun. She said it’s the best burger she’s had in years! She finished it! And the homemade fries lol! I had the Sunnyside salad. Swapped kale for arugula and I am 💯 percent returning for this zesty, fresh salad! The roasted chickpeas and avocado in lemon are a culinary experience.

Sunnyside Restaurant is one of our favorite spots in Sarasota. It’s a small, cozy, and relaxed place with both indoor and outdoor seating. They serve delicious breakfast and lunch, and on weekends, they also offer dinner. Although the service can sometimes be a bit slow, it’s always friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. It’s definitely worth it. Every time we visit Sarasota, we make sure to stop here.

This is a cute, upbeat dining spot. We’ve been twice for breakfast and it was delicious both times. We’ve ordered very specific the 2nd time and the entire staff was happy to accommodate even with one of the Chefs out sick. I’m excited to try it for dinner as they have many nice wines to pair with their menu. Ava, the owner is so sweet and loves her customers. She’s very welcoming the minute you walk in the door. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Don’t let the address bother you as it sits in its own building on the front of the Apartments which is separated by a gate. Highly recommend.

Service from Julia was great! Tip to the owners, replace the rude cooks that are in earshot of the customers. For a grown man to be so rude to their employees is not a great image.

I wanted something light for an early lunch and decided to try their mango smoothie. It was delicious, so I tried the berry smoothie as well. The employees were really nice. It looked like a great place for breakfast also! I'll definitely return on my next flight to Sarasota.

OMG!! I want to live close to Sarasota to visit this place every single day. While on vacation I went to this place to eat breakfast 2 days in a row. The cold mango tee...AMAZING!! The fresh squeeze grapefruit juice to die for. The food is just like being in heaven 😋 😍 🙌 Definitely 💯 🌟 🤩 Plus the service is phenomenal, you feel like at home. LOVED IT!! Toasted Mango recently mov3d to this new location, a few blocks from the previous location. Still offering their great food! We came on a weekday morning, and it was surprisingly somewhat empty. Service was great, and we had our food almost immediately. Be prepared for busier times on the weekends. Great location and fun spaces to hang out at outside the restaurant while you wait in your table..

I loved Toasted Mango at its old location but a friend I was meeting for lunch had a very difficult time finding the new location. I don’t blame that on the restaurant but maybe google maps or ways? The lunch I chose was mediocre but my friend really enjoyed his. I will go back and would recommend it to other people. It’s tough changing locations and opening “new” again.

This was our first time at their new location, and while the building is new and nice, it took a server over 10 minutes to come and take our order. The restaurant wasn’t very busy either. I ordered the Florentine Benedict and the eggs were poached hard and there were maybe eight potatoes on the plate as my side of home fries. Not nearly enough for the price point. Someone else at our table got the waffle, which was cold and mediocre at best. Only once were we checked on by a server and that was to drop our check. Very disappointing.

I enjoyed the Shashuksa. It has nice tangy sauce i could have used another slice of bread though. The wife had apple pancakes and was disappointed. The coffee was average. Our server Andre did a good job.

This place is one of my favorite places! Penelope is the best! Her recommendations were spot on! I got the Waygu beef burger and it was one of the place I’ve ever had. They have gluten and dairy free! Great cocktails too! I come for brunch and love their avocado toast too!

We found free parking just around the corner. The neighborhood felt calm, quiet, and distinctly upscale. The dinner menu features four salads, each priced between $17 and $19, with optional add-ons: fish for $11, avocado for $4, or grilled chicken for $6. Entrées range from a vegan beetroot risotto to a wagyu burger, priced between $19 and $28. I ordered the Baja burrito—filled with avocado, red cabbage, carrot, cashew cheese, and wrapped in a massaged collard green burrito. It was tasty, but it’s definitely a dish best appreciated by vegans who truly enjoy collard greens. My husband chose the goat cheese salad, a mix of organic greens, goat cheese mousse, pickled shallots, candied pecans, preserved grapes, house-made crackers, mustard pearls, and maple vinaigrette, also $18. The goat cheese was extremely creamy and paired beautifully with the light, airy toasted pieces served alongside. It made for the perfect light entrée. For dessert, he had the pumpkin chia pudding—creamy, lightly spiced, and satisfying without being heavy—so we ended the night feeling perfectly content, not overly full. There was a gentleman playing the saxophone just outside the door, a bit hard to carry on a conversation at times but very adorable when he played happy birthday for a little boy who clapped for joy. Very heartwarming moment. Go and enjoy a very healthy dinner.

First off, being greeted by the finest white chocolate was a great start for me. He sat us at the bar. A lot of things on the menu were new to me but he assured me that everything was delicious. I ordered the Barramundi fish tacos. Amazing! Wish I could’ve stayed & ate just so I could stare at the handsome man who was hosting us and somehow also making my Mojito but we had a boat to catch. Great menu! Delicious food! exquisite service! I have a couple dietary restrictions - the waitress communicated with the cook and with me - they accommodated my needs beautifully and the menu option was delicious! My husband was beyond delighted with his meal! We enjoyed some of the different types of menu items: a raw food tiramisu - amazing!!, vegan collard wrap - tasty! , and fish with roasted vegetables dish that my husband reported was unbelievable! We were entertained by the live entertainment- enchanting saxophone. We chose the outdoor seating on the beautiful night ( great people watching amd windows on Main street).

Hospitality goes such a long way here!!! Food was also delicious, not even 10 minutes after ordering, the food was already on our table. What I love best about this place is the patio outside. Sitting between the plants and flowers provides such a tranquil scene. Lots of options on the menus and the sourdough is especially good here.

Cute spot, solid food! It was a good spot to catch up with friends - lively but not too loud for conversation. The food was good and portions perfect. We came on a Sunday at brunch so it seemed very busy but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table for 4 luckily.

What a great place to enjoy a casual breakfast in a tropical, garden setting! The sweet potato pancakes were absolutely delicious and satisfying! The El Mariachi omelette with chorizo was savory with vibrant with the pops acidity from the tomatoes and onions. The coffee was hot and bold while the Bloody Mary was spicy and scrumptious.

We decided to stop by for breakfast on a weekday morning. The food is fantastic! We went for Eggs Benedict and an Omelette - we would definitely consider them again. The service was great! I rarely give an "all out" review but I can see why this place is top of the list for breakfast here in Siesta Key. The menu isn't too big, and the food comes out quickly. The ingredients in/on my "Bikini Bagel" were fresh and well-balanced. Which I greatly appreciated. The avocado on my dish was cut fresh —for my dish. The fig was for sure my favorite —thickly sliced and placed atop the avocado. I was all for it. We're on a quick pass through on our way to Fort Myers, so we needed something quick. What a treat! Totally unexpected to find such good eats. The price is fair for the portions and the vibe outside is a must.

I chose Breakfast Company because it's pet-friendly, and we were celebrating both my sister’s and dad’s birthdays. We had a great time! Victor, our server, was incredibly kind and attentive. It was our first time there, and he took the time to explain the menu and recommend a few dishes. He even surprised the birthday guests with a special dessert, which made the experience extra memorable. Another lovely staff member also brought out water with ice for my dog Perlita—she greeted her so sweetly and made sure she felt welcome too. That kind of attention really stood out! We tried the biscuits, bowls, a panini-style sandwich, and I ordered a macchiato-style coffee—everything was tasty. The place has a nice buzz to it, with good energy and movement. Overall, it was a really good experience, and we’d definitely go back!

I have to give this place a 10 out of 10. Everything and I mean everything was wonderful! The look, the team, the food, the drinks! I highly recommend to anyonewho's looking for the perfect customer service atmosphere. The experience was the best I've had in awhile!🥰

I got the special which was a chicken biscuit over egg with honey Sriracha on top and coffee. The sandwich was huge for the price, biscuit and sandwich was delicious, should be an add-on to the regular menu. Coffee was very good too-nice large cup! Stop is all very friendly food came out quick, and atmosphere very nice. Only thing I would say is it was a little dark in there they should turn the lights up some since there's not a lot of natural light coming in in the back.

Got the short rib Benedict. Decided to spoil myself after the gym. The meat was tender, egg perfectly poached. And I also enjoyed the side arugula salad. Food came out quickly even though they were busy.

After years adrift on the high seas, we finally sailed back to the Blue Dolphin Café, only to find that the crew had changed, the rations be heartier, and aye… the loot required to dine be a bit steeper! But let me tell ye, the crispy waffle was golden as a pirate’s doubloons, the bacon had a crunch that’d wake Davy Jones himself, and the service? Smoother than a ship glidin’ on a fair tide! Strangest thing o’ all? The place was dead empty! We used to fight through a horde o’ hungry landlubbers just to get a seat. This time, we strolled in like royalty, no cutlass needed. Would we return? Aye! The food be worth it, even if we have to trade a few extra gold coins. If ye haven’t been in a while, hoist yer sails and give it another go—ye won’t be walkin’ the plank over this one! ⚓️🐬🏴‍☠️

We stopped by Blue Dolphin in St. Armands Circle for breakfast and loved it! My husband and I got the pancakes, bacon, eggs, and potatoes — simple but so delicious. Everything came out fresh, and the vibe was super relaxed.

Cute place, very polite staff and the food was great! We ordered the Reuben, Surfer Burger and Philly Cheesesteak. Everything was great. Good flavor, generous portions and everything was served warm and fresh. Fries were made fresh and the fresh fruit cups were ripe. Prices were appropriate as well. Will definitely dine here again.

Breakfast and lunch, full bar and coffee drinks. The Food was very tasty and the cocktails too! Very busy place but we did not have to wait much for a table, there is an outdoor seating as well and the service was very friendly and polite. We will come back to try other options for sure.

New to the area, the wife and I tried the cinnamon donuts before the breakfast and a very good Latte. The server Katie was very quick to greet us, seat us, and provide excellent service. Our order was made correctly, it came out without delay and was very good. Breakfast Burrito is recommended as well as the two egg breakfast. Everything was hot. The one thing I loved, but not everyone will is the amount of cheese on the burrito and in the hash brown casserole. If you don’t love cheese, maybe these won’t be for you. The final review is easy parking, quick and good service and food was great. 5 stars for our first visit.

We had a really good experience Food was amazing. Portions were great And our server Maggie was awesome. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was perfect. Our daughter really enjoyed her pancakes and my husband the brisket tacos. Will be coming back soon.

I love this spot! I’ve been here a number of times and always have an amazing meal and incredible service. Today Angie was my server and she was lovely! Always refilling the coffee and water and even brought me a free coffee to go. I got the double decker omelette and it was amazing. Always a fan of their cheesy hash brown casserole too. 10/10

We came here for breakfast on the 4th. Grateful they were open. This is my 2nd time eating at Toasted Yolk, first being in Pooler, GA. This restaurant is okay. Not a fan for either visit for their food. My Jackie morning rita was good. Our waitress was nice. First time having a 'chicken' omelet, and I do not recommend chicken for the meat. The reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries were better than my food.

There isn’t enough good I can say about Toasted Yolk. The food is delicious, the drinks are strong, and the service is phenomenal. John took care of us like we were his family. Out drinks were never empty and he checked on us frequently.

Went here for "brunch" today. Very pleased with the choice. Very friendly & helpful staff. We chose to sit outside, best decision. We both had the broccoli Cheddar soup, I ordered a Brie, apple & spinach panini and my daughter ordered a Truffle Croque Mushroom with ham. Everything was fantastic. We also had a cold brew late and a watermelon mimosa. YUM! Highly recommend this little Cafe.

Breakfast is my thing and this was definitely a good one! My omelette was perfect and the fruit fresh. The croissant was so good. I had to get two to bring home and a couple of chocolate croissants as well. I sat at a small table and was able to enjoy my cappuccino And do a little work on my computer as well. It was quite warm so I sat inside and the only reason the atmosphere is only four stars was because it did smell like something was burning on the griddle. The chocolate croissant got an A+ rating from my sonwho is a connoisseur so next time I’m in the area, I will definitely be picking up some more.

Walked in to order coffee and a pastry and the door was wide open and flies were on the pastry. The place looked run down and nobody knew what was going on. I won't be returning due to the lack of sanitary conditions. Not to mention the pastries weren't even fresh. They were at least a day old. I just cant get over the fact that flies landed on the pastries. There were at least 3 flies in the pastry area just throwing up on everything. Yuck!

Very lovely place for breakfast or lunch! The food not only looked beautiful, but it tasted very delicious too. The service was wonderful and friendly and the prices are reasonable. The outdoor seating and atmosphere added to our experience as well. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Mademoiselle Paris in DTSRQ!

Wonderful, fresh backed goodies to leave your mouth watering 🤤. I had the La Riviera French baguette which has chicken, sundried tomatoes, lettuce & mayo with chives. It was terrifically tasty. I also had the lemon tart which was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. I love that they have a little outdoor area that is dog friendly so you can enjoy a day out with your furbaby.

The best croissants in Sarasota, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The owner/manager is French and so are the standards for any pastry they sell. We love buying their specialty cookies for different holidays and can’t wait to see their Valentine’s Day creations. The sourdough bread is of the finest quality and is a perfect alternative to the Bread Bandits’ loaves.

I was born and raised in France which makes it very difficult for me to give a good rating to “French bakeries”. Most of them are just pretend French bakeries and fall short of being half descent. This is not the case here! Rendezvous is a true authentic French bread bakery that has become my family routine for bread. I wish they were open on Sundays… great bread and great pastries. I never sat there to have breakfast or lunch but each time I come to buy my bread, I see the plates of food that look really appetizing. To summarize, this is a real authentic French bakery that offers delicious breads and pastries. The people who work there are really nice and friendly.

Sandwich is good, but we need to tell the waitress to toast the bread first. The meat inside the sandwich could be more generous to make it more to taste. Services in general are good. The lounge lead lady will not let you move the tables. Even the sittings are tight.

So, so glad I stumbled across this place. Very quaint atmosphere with what seemed to be a ton of regulars (always a good sign). I was pleasantly greeted as soon as I walked in the door and seated at a table right away. Everything on the menu looked amazing so I did what I always do and asked the server for her 2 favorite dishes. She wholeheartedly recommended the Salmon Omelet and raved about the quality of their salmon. But her absolute favorite dish was Le Croque Madame... toasted ham, swiss cheese topped with bechamel sauce and a sunny side egg. Since I could not decide between the two, I decided to get both... sort of. I added a side of the smoked salmon on to my order for Le Croque Madame... PERFECT COMBO!!! Loved every single bite... also loved their Eiffel Tower topped Cappuccino (see attached photo) And what do you get after an amazing breakfast like this one... pastries for all your friends. Had my server pick out her 6 favorites and package them up for me to bring to some clients I was seeing later that day. As soon as I showed up with their WELL BRANDED BAG in hand, everyone's eyes lit up and they all exclaimed, "I LOVE THAT PLACE" Check it out... I am pretty sure you will love it too.

How exciting that I came across a Der Dutchman in FL! The last time I visited was at the locations in Ohio. Delicious as expected. A not to be missed buffet filled with home cooked flavor. They also have a menu if you prefer to order. If you come between breakfast and lunch you will also get donuts! The donuts are soft, pillow-like and filled with various creams. Crazy good. This location has a restaurant, large gift shop, good size bakery, coffee shop and small selection of grocery staples. Everyone is friendly, everything is clean and its not too busy during the weekdays. We came on Friday and the theme was seafood! Fresh and fried. In addition, you get free soft- serve icecream with the buffet! 10/10!! I waddled away stuffed full of delicious food!!

We've heard about this place. My wife and I tried it Thursday for lunch....OMG!! The food here is awesome! As a kid I remember open face turkey sandwiches at the diners of the day- Turkey on white bread with mashed potatoes and gravy. Der Dutchman has it on their menu! Seriously, the most delicious restaurant meal I've had in years, and my wife and I go out every week at least once. Another childhood delish - My grandmother used to make Rhubarb pie, something you just don't find in restaurants or stores anymore. Der Dutchman has it!!! I purchased a whole pie to bring home. Besides the fantastic foods, this place has a huge bakery, and store. The service was top notch. This was so good and even though it's a bit of a drive, we (and all of our friends now) will be going back here.

Had a great lunch at Der Dutchman with friends visiting from Orlando and Fort Myers. We came around 2 PM and were impressed right from the start—plenty of parking, warm welcoming atmosphere. We all went for the buffet, and it did not disappoint! The hot food stayed hot, cold food stayed cold, and everything was fresh, clean, and constantly refilled. Great variety and flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, making our visit even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, home-style meal in a relaxing setting!

I highly recommend their breakfast buffet! Cozy yummy food my favorites including sausage, bacon, ham, cheesy hash-browns, whipped cream, fresh grape/ cantaloupe/ honeydew fruit mix with a coffee and water. The rest of my family loves the biscuits & gravy, donuts, eclair, oatmeal, eggs, yogurt & granola and fruit cocktail. Their gift shop is top notch also great for gifts you can’t find most places. Really great prices even in the busy season.

We love stopping by Der Dutchman anytime we are near Sarasota. We are originally from Ohio and now live in St. Augustine. Visiting Amish country in Berlin was a frequent occurrence for our family. Having Der Dutchman so close, gives us the opportunity to enjoy great homemade food, jellly, and those delicious fry pies. Super clean, excellent service, and a great shopping experience at the same time. I would highly recommend stopping by yourself!

We were very pleasantly surprised with this place. Apparently it's not open all year long. But the building is big. we found parking easily. There is a buffet restaurant in the back and there's a bakery and store in the front. Amish folks. And they make some good stuff. The buffet food was very good. The service was even better. They are very respectful and want to make sure you're happy. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Highly recommended breakfast spot! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with fast and friendly service. The hostess was especially welcoming—she even chatted with us since we were all from PA. I ordered the half and half special which included chicken and waffles and gumbo. The chicken and waffles with chipotle honey sauce were absolutely delicious. The waffle was perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender. Gumbo was packed with flavor! The biscuits were huge and satisfying. If you enjoy mimosas, don’t miss the lemon blueberry mimosa—my first time trying that combo, and it won’t be my last. 10/10! The only minor downside was that some of the food arrived lukewarm, as if it had been waiting on the rest of the order. Still, I would absolutely go back and highly recommend this spot in the charming Siesta Key Village.

Real neat breakfast spot. My family visited two times during our vacation! Amicable service and the food is absolutely delicious. Ordered the crab Benedict on this occasion and there was so much fresh crab I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. They also have unique cocktails and seasonal menus. Whatever you order is bound to be good!

Great experience all around. Service was very friendly and quick. Between the hostess and our server, Kaden, they both had exceptional food and drink recommendations. We both ordered the lemon blueberry mimosas. We were suspicious of them at first because the glass was half full, however, the flavor was amazing and it actually was the perfect amount for a Sunday morning. I ordered the corned beef and brussel sprout hash, per Kaden’s recommendation. That might’ve been the best meal I’ve ever had for a Sunday brunch. We also ordered the country power bowl, also per Kaden’s request. Both meals were delicious with very generous portion sizes. We will be returning if we are ever in Siesta Key again!

Good morning! My recent meal experience included delicious breakfast cuisine and great service. My beginner’s luck was successful as a first time customer. The biscuit beignets with orange honey marmalade were fantastic. The coffee was good. I tried the eggs benny and the egg I ordered was cooked exactly to my preference. I will return someday to try out more items!

Amazing food. Great views. Wonderful service. Drinks were great as well. We were blown away at the portion of lobster they gave us. They were very accommodating and created a special plate even though it wasn’t specifically on the menu. Perfect place for sunset dinner.

Nice place but expensive and the food was not worth the price. We were expecting to be blown away with amazing flavors with the entree, but this dish was a flop for me. For starters, we had their bread in a can with rum butter. The bread was bland and lacked any flavor. Was chewy and grainy and stuck to your teeth. Yet, they raved about how good it was. Then we had seafood chowder and calamari. The chowder was delicious and just the right amount of spice. The calamari was delicious and was cooked to perfection in a light and fluffy batter. For the entree, we had pan seared grouper. This was a total disappointment. For $51 a plate, I expected nothing less than exceptional taste. It was not. The fish was over cooked, the glazed carrots were bitter instead of sweet, and the sauce, whatever that was, added a tainted flavor to the dish. I don't know why this "executive chef" would put out such a flavorless dish and ruin a good piece of fish. They should spend more time on flavor than presentation. Has anyone bother to taste the dish? It left a bitter and dry taste in your mouth. I could have made it better myself for a fraction of the cost. I mean, if you're gonna charge high dollar for a dish, it better be spot on. The dessert was the best part of the meal. You must try the Dark Chocolate Myakka Orange Brulee. Amazing! Was it worth the $137 for the entire meal. Absolutely not. The waitress Amanda was great. Would I dine here again. As a local Sarasota resident, NO! I've had much better food at home or at a reasonably priced restaurant for less than $50. Jack Dusty is over priced, over hyped and subpar our first time experience. I'm sure other dishes are good. Lastly, the menu online doesn't not match the menu you received at your table.

Here for the first time to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I found this place by googling Best Seafood Restaurant in Sarasota. It is located in the Ritz Carleton Hotel which is situated right on the harbor with great views. Complimentary Valet parking was handy since there is no parking nearby. We were seated immediately outside with a nice view of the harbor. Our server Brooke made our experience we wonderful. The menu is limited but that is not necessarily a negative. We were waited on by a team of servers. I ordered a Negroni and my wife had a gin and tonic. We had the shrimp cocktail which I felt was not as fresh as it could be. I was expecting jumbo shrimp but they were average size. A highlight was the brown maple bread which came backed in a tin cake. Brooke served us explaining the origin of the bread and the name Jack Dusty. My wife had the mahi mahi which she said was delicious. I had the Red Snapper. It was a huge serving. I had filled up on the shrimp and bread. The bar looks like a good happy hour spot. Some people came just for drinks. Dress is casual. This will be a good place to bring company. Sooo, Jack Dusty was surprisingly good! I’m usually skeptical about hotel restaurant, there’s often a high chance of high prices and bland food, but this one delivered. We had dinner, dessert, and breakfast here and enjoyed all of it. Tried a few different things on the menu, no clear favorite, but everything was solid. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area or staying at the hotel!

Great brunch/ lunch as always! Oysters are always really good too! One of my favorite and most frequented restaurants in SRQ. Jack fries are SOO GOOD, if you’re on a diet I recommend staying away because they are dangerously addictive (in a good way).

Jack dusty food was great! We came here for a birthday dinner and were in a private dining room. Drinks were great, views were nice as well. Only complaint was service. We were a large party, but still took 30-45 mins to get checked on knowing we were having drinks and needed water topped off etc. I would give it an 8/10.

I always eat breakfast with friends and family. Plenty of parking and it's located on a great street with several shops and other restaurants, great location. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a juice bar and fresh baked goods. It is always fast and the staff is very friendly. I love the Osprey Omelet and I change the sides and I never get charged extra money. Great quality food.

Just moved to Harbor Acres a month ago, and since we found the Serving Spoon (.3 miles away) we’ve frequented nearly everyday. Food is always fresh, fast, and filling; the entire staff is very courteous, always greats us with a smile, and makes us feel extremely welcome. I would recommend the Serving Spoon to anyone seeking a great meal at a fair price, while receiving exceptional service. Great job guys, y’all rock!!!

You should definitely go to the Serving Spoon...it was a great place for breakfast. I had the avocado toast with egg whites and it was very good. All 4 of us were happy with our meals. The place was clean. It was a bit dated but not terrible. The bathroom was older but clean enough. We were happy overall and would recommend the place. Service was good as well.

This is a small cafe. The food was fresh, but everything on the menu has a different ingredient than usual. For example, the potato salad had quite a bit of bell pepper and sour cream (I think). I know most chefs love to put their signature on their food, but they went overboard. I special ordered my salad without any problems but just beware, read the menu or you'll be surprised.

You MUST visit this place!! One of the best places for a morning espresso drink. I got a Cortado and it was super yummy. Staff super friendly and the atmosphere is so chill that you simply want to hang out. Very euro street cafe vibe. Highly recommend.

MUST TRY SPOT. Great quality food with a clean and professional looking decor. The girls working at the time were pleasant and made an exceptional breakfast sandwich. We got the Dave’s special and it was phenomenal. Quality was top notch.

Discovered a gem at Postal 98 Cafe! The unique environment and amazing service set it apart from other cafes. The staff is amazing and friendly, making every visit special. I'm new to the area but I love trying coffee places out. This spot has won my heart. The staff is always friendly, especially the queen who commented on sharing the same nail color as me, anyway the coffee always SLAPS mhmmmm. It's so good! I get the sweet cream cold brew and you actually can't go wrong. Love this place.

Visiting Yoder’s Restaurant brought back so many fond memories of the Amish cooking I’ve experienced in Lancaster, PA. This amazing Amish restaurant truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of home-style cooking filled the air, and there was a consistent flow of happy customers—always a good sign! The service was outstanding. Despite how busy they were, the staff was quick to accommodate and made us feel welcome right away. As for the food—wow. There were so many hearty, comforting options to choose from. The garlic grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and chicken tenders were all perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. And you must try the apple butter—it’s the kind of homemade touch that elevates everything. Now for the desserts—what a treat! The strawberry and coconut pies were absolutely amazing, bursting with fresh flavor. With so many dessert options, it was hard to choose, but each one looked as fresh as the next. All in all, Yoder’s is a gem. Whether you’re there for a full meal or just dessert, you’ll leave full, happy, and planning your next visit. Great job to the entire team!

Meatloaf, turkey, chicken 🫶🏼💪🏼 The beef veggie soup of the day was incredible. Mashed taters and gravy were out of this world. Even the green beans were amazing. Our kids loved the grilled cheese, Mac n cheese and fries too. The pies were perfect. We got the cream pie trio. Peanut butter, chocolate and banana. They were insanely sweet and SO good. Also. Their apple butter is the best I'll EVER had in my life. Do it.

Very popular restaurant, so don't be surprised if there is a wait. Also seems a popular place for takeaway. Service is friendly. Food is hearty and plentiful. While tempted by the desserts, we simply didn't have room in our tummies to give them a try. We did, however, purchase some cookies which were greatly enjoyed later that day. On site, there is a gift shop/bldg, and a separate coffee shop with baked offerings. Worth the short drive (~15 mins) for from the interstate for a nice meal.

Absolutely worth the stop. I had been seeing this place on TV and stuff forever and I finally got a chance to stop through Sarasota and I mean the food was great. Nice quality. Everything was better than anywhere else. The waitress was great overall a very good place to eat and everybody’s food beside me just looked absolutely Amazing. The food almost won, but I was able to eat it all. And the pies and the desserts are amazing also

I have been going to Yoder's Restaurant for years and thoroughly enjoy each and every visit. The generous portions and delicious side-offerings make it a worthwhile drive. The fried chicken platter and smoked chicken entree are my favorites with mashed potatoes and gravy. Don't forget to save room for dessert...many mouth-watering cakes and pies to choose from.

Quaint, kitschy, very cute place!! Everything was of course super fresh, and made well. The roasted BBQ chicken was super juicy and tender, so flavorful and savory with a great crunch on the crispy skin. I loveddd it! And I had enough to take home for later (it was somehow even better!) while the Mac n cheese was super cheesy and well cooked, sides in general (Mac n cheese & green beans) could have been better seasoned. They didn't really have a taste. The sweet tea was spectacular. We tried multiple pies and they were all absolutely incredible, I can't choose a favorite. You truly can't go wrong! This place is definitely worth trying if you want something that feels like an elevated hearty, homecooked meal

This was one of the best restaurants we ate at. Everything was great. The food was above average!! The Service was fantastic!! Several of the workers stopped and talked to us. We set on the deck overlooking the water. This is a must if you are near the area. The sunset on the water is a must see.

What an incredible meal! The Old Salty Dog is always a must-visit whenever we're in Florida, and this trip was no exception. We finally tried the loaded Old Salty Dog, and I deeply regret not ordering it sooner. It absolutely lives up to the hype and is a game-changer. ​The atmosphere was perfect. We sat right by the water, which made for a beautiful and relaxing experience. The kids had a blast too, enjoying their meals along with a delicious strawberry smoothie. They also loved the freebie that came with their food and were so excited to take it home. ​On top of that, the peel and eat shrimp were out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We'll be back again and again!

We had a stunning lunch here. Everything was super fresh and crisp. Neat lobster roll I’ve had in a long time and their sweet potato fries were delicious. Service was friendly and super attentive. Robbie was so sweet and great at serving us. We saw a manatee swimming right by us and lots of fish, jelly fish and dolphins in the distance. Amazing location for the perfect relaxing lunch on the water.

We absolutely love this Old Salty Dog location near St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. The restaurant is waterfront and right next to a marina/boat yard and marine center. There are always boats being launched, refueling, or just cruising by. On a sunny day, it is a perfect waterfront spot in Sarasota to boat watch. The Pelicans are always swooping for fish and putting on a show for restaurant guests. You can also occasionally see jelly fish, we just saw a couple hundred swimming by on our last visit. Rain or shine, Old Salty Dog is always worth a visit. The patio gets the perfect amount of sun on a sunny day with light sun shades, a gulf breeze, and the perfect sunset back drop. On rainy days, you might have to wait a minute for an inside table or seat at the bar because they stay busy, but it is worth the wait. As the name implies, they are known for their deep fried hot dogs and dog bites which are always a favorite. The burgers also hit the spot for a change up and the seafood doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a frozen drink on a hot day, a delicious rum runner, or just a beer they have something for everyone. The parking lot gets full pretty quick with limited spaces while they are working on the building next door, but additional lots are across the street and a short 2 minute walk. We’d highly recommend Old Salty Dog for a casual waterfront restaurant in Sarasota with good food, good drinks, and the ability to come in your swim suit by boat or car.

You cannot beat food right by the water. We both enjoyed a grouper sandwich, mine was blackened. My wife's was fried in a tempura like beer batter. Both were absolutely delicious, shared some regular fries and some sweet potato fries. The service was quick, there were a couple of local beers on tap. And whatever you do, do not skip the key lime pie!

If you want the beach vibe while eating dinner this is the place for it. If you imagine having a drink with the weather breeze blowing on you then look no further. Sitting there while a boat floats by, a pelican lands 10 ft from you, and seeing a rainbow was amazing. The food wasn't amazing, but the atmosphere makes up for it. I got a hamburger and an order of the Salty dog nuggets. I had a wonderful time eating here.

After a day of apartment hunting we were hungry and The Old Salty Dog was right on our route and super convenient. We got some mozzarella sticks, burger with fries and the hotdog bites. Not super excited about the hog dog bites Sadly but we were so hungry it served a purpose. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect to end the day. I would love to stop back when I come back to the area.

The food was great! Warning the cinnamon roll is the size of a soft ball and delicious and get the biscuit grilled with honey! Wonderful service too!

So glad we found this gem. Great local eatery. Loved my frittata special of the month. Husband loved blt. Fresh squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee. Fruit side was generous serving. My only complaint is that is was cold, but getting my jacket solved that!

On Memorial Day our favorite breakfast locations were closed so my wife and I decided to try this location. We were sat right away and while the interior had a nice little vibe to it any positive thoughts were instantly taken away by how sticky the tile floor was. I could literally hear my shoes stick with each step. Not sure if this was due to soap not being rinsed properly or another reason but it did stick in my mind as we were walking to our table. The omelet I ordered was good, as was the toast and bacon. I wish this location, though, had regular hash browns. They do not. Their only hash browns are cheesy. To not have a plain version really bummed me out. The only other option were potatoes that had sweet potatoes mixed in. Again, bummer, since I do not like sweet potatoes. All in all, The Original Egg was okay but not having options that other locations such as Millie's or Max's Table have, means we probably will not be back.

Service was excellent. Breakfast tacos were not. I have never seen such small taco shells. Also, they use chunked chorizo instead of ground. Just not my thing for $15.00.

Outstanding flavors & fresh strawberries. Not the kind mixed with the glaze or syrup. The french toast my husband had was great too! We would highly recommend this place on Clark Road! Really great atmosphere with a slow pace. Fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee and pretty good mimosas make for a nice start for breakfast. The food was delicious! Take a shot on the corned beef hash and the biscuits and gravy - you might want to take a nap afterwards, but 100% worth it! Glad we made the stop!

All our food was delicious--western omelet, Philly cheese steak sandwich, waffles with strawberries, French toast, and kids breakfast with biscuit and gravy. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the waitress was so busy, she didn't have time to refill our drinks. But she was very friendly and we will definitely be back next year!

Nice brunch place. We were surprised to be seated right away with no wait. Orange juice is freshly squeezed from a cool machine. I was a little surprised that the skillet entree didn’t actual come in a skillet.

I stopped in to get pastries for a few offices I work with, what really stood out was the staff. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They took the time to explain the pastry options, made recommendations with a smile, and never once made me feel rushed. Everyone behind the counter was wonderful! Pastries and coffee are great too!!

The whole reason I come here every time I’m in Florida is for this pecan churro pastry. They are amazing and memorable. They usually sell out quickly.

There are so many good breakfast spots in Sarasota and Oasis is in the top 5 in my opinion. The food is fresh, the menu is creative, the specials are … well special. They have gluten free options Everything I have had here is outstanding and it has become one of our goto breakfast spot. They also serve what I believe is the best Huevos Rancheros in town. It’s def a creative interpretation of the dish but is absolutely delicious Highly recommended.

We stopped in here to pick up a sandwich on the way to the beach. Food was great and the owner went above and beyond to get us organized! Really cute place—if we visit Sarasota again we would want to try the Bloody Mary’s!

Pricey place. Omelet was good potatoes (home fries) could have more and cooked more. Coffee was good. Service was great food in a timely manner. I wouldn't rave about the place. I will try it again if in the area.

A restaurant in a small strip mall. Our two meals were breakfasts. One a traditional specially made omelette and the other called a breakfast sundae with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit. Both delicious. This restaurant was clean and has limited seating outside facing the parking lot. The staff was a little brusque though but efficient.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere! Got the PB Crunch toast which was delicious. I also tried the Superfruit smoothie which I WILL be getting again. If you have nut allergies, let them know. Their granola has nuts in it so you’ll need to be careful.

Best avocado toast I’ve ever had! Definitely worth the price point! There were marinated tomatoes on top and micro greens as well as watermelon radish. Absolutely delicious! My husband had the smoked salmon, and it was truly the best he had ever had! So glad we found this spot!

What a truly innovative place. My son recently moved here and took us for breakfast. I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to order but am so happy with the choice I made! The PB Crunch toast was scrumptious and the presentation was almost too pretty to eat. My family each got bowls and said they were so much fresher and tastier than others they’ve had. The service was fantastic as well! I can’t wait to visit at least once more before our vacation ends!

Visited Jersey Girl bagels on a weekend morning. Very busy but not a long wait. I got a sesame bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was really good, nice soft inside. The amount of cream cheese was A LOT! This made the bagel a little messy to eat but it was delicious. There is a window towards the back where you can see the bagels being boiled , I liked that. I would like to return when it is less crowded and busy. Will come again!

Based on favorable reviews, we decided to visit Jersey Girl bagels and sample their products. Although the business was bustling, the line progressed at a reasonable pace. Staff members were courteous and friendly. Prices were moderate. We were satisfied with our order. However, I concur with another reviewer that the establishment appeared to be somewhat unclean. While waiting at the counter after ordering, I remarked to my husband that the premises could benefit from thorough cleaning and fresh paint. The ceiling had noticeable areas requiring repair or replacement. Additionally, the vent was excessively dirty. I have included a photograph highlighting the issues I mentioned. The wheat and pumpernickel bagels were on top of the bagel counter (pictured) Many people were walking right up to the bagel case and literally were standing right on top of those bagels. I do not know if this is normal practice for this establishment but that definitely didn’t sit right with me. We really love to support local small business and hope the owner takes into account what patrons concerns are.

Fresh bagels, just like back home! As a Jersey native, this place gave me exactly what I’d expect from the Tri-State area and what I remember growing up in Central Jersey. The buttered bagel was loaded so much butter it looked like cream cheese! And yes, they’ve got pork roll as a topping! 🥯 The egg sandwich comes with two eggs, not one, my husband loved that! 🚫 Don’t want to wait in line? Just order pickup online. Easy and fast!

As a local realtor and Jersey girl at heart, I don’t settle when it comes to bagels. Jersey Girls Bagels understood the assignment. The second I walked in and saw those Jersey plate bagel signs, I knew I was in the right place. Service was fast, the vibe was right, and the bagels? Fluffy, fresh, and very close to the real Jersey deal. Sure, there are a few twists, like sea salt on the salt bagel, but if you’re from Jersey and you’re craving the real thing, stop searching. This is it. I’ll be back, and next time, I’m clearing the menu.

My go to bagel shop …. The veggie cream cheese is very tasty. Even on other things like carrots, celery and pita chips. Can only speak about the everything bagels which are always tasty and fresh. IF I have to nit-pick …. Can be a little slow when they get a little busy. They take your order, THAN that person will take care of the order. There has to be a better system? They would know better than me, but there must be one …. Just sayin

The smoothie was delicious, but I must echo the sentiments of the other reviewers regarding the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service. I came in last Sunday looking for a snack and a restroom before heading to the beach. When I arrived, I was greeted by two girls at a table doing some busy work and a young man behind the counter who said nothing. The girls were sweet and told me to let them know when I was ready to order. After a few seconds, I told them that I was ready, and the young man walked over. I noticed that there was a blender on the counter that had a purple ring around it. I gave him my order and turned to go to the restroom, hoping that he would wash out the blender before making my drink. When I came out of the restroom, my drink was ready, and I noticed that the same blender now had green at the bottom and purple at the top. Needless to say, I found this wholly unsanitary and a risk to my health. What if I were allergic to whatever was in the blender beforehand? And those types of blenders only need to be rinsed with water to clean, so why did he not at least do that? Upon leaving, only the girls spoke--which at this point was unsurprising. After returning home and reading the comments, it seems that this behavior is rather typical, so it may be best to avoid this place altogether until they get it together.

Beat açaí bowls in town! I’ve had just about all of them and the açaí bowls from here are hands down the best! Freshest taste and consistently delicious! I crave their bowls and whenever I have one else where it doesn’t even come close to how good they are here!

Absolutely stellar — the best part is seeing all the fresh, ripe fruits on the wall and behind the counter. You can tell the quality of the fruit is amazing just by the color!

Summer Tap crafts incredibly detailed decorated dishes that are super fresh. You can see them juicing your juice right infront of you and slicing the avocados and tomato’s one my one as well. However, for this reason the service is very slow, and it took us 20 minutes to get our Acai bowls and 30 minutes for the avocado toast after ordering. However, everything was absolutely delicious so it was so worth the wait. Açaí bowls are great, nutella berry toast too, Green juice is so refreshing and the Avocado Toast also generous sizing and fairly priced.

Randomly found this place and it did not disappoint. Ordered the island paradise and watermelon lemonade juice, YUM! They even had some toys for my toddler. Loved all the fresh ingredients!!!

We visited the Lido Beach Resort in October and the food here was amazing. The servers were so friendly and kind. When they found out we had got engaged the previous night they even brought us out complementary mimosas. We got the breakfast package with our hotel room purchase and I would highly recommend.

This was the first time I've ever ordered from them! I did Uber eats and had it delivered. I've looked at their money before and I do see that it's super expensive, but eating healthy is not inexpensive these days nor is eating out! It was so delicious! And the potatoes were amazing! Loved sitting outside here being able to people watch during the farmers market. Location is central to downtown. The staff was friendly. Food was very good with clear markings for gluten free and vegan options.

A large group of us had dinner at the restaurant a week and a half ago. There were so many options to choose from that I had a hard time deciding what to order. They even have vegan dishes. We loved the fresh, homemade paste. Flavors were outstanding and the pasta dough was tender. One person at our table ordered the flat bread with short rib and shared. It was so good! Will definitely return!

A very nice little coffee shop with excellent vibes. The barista who greeted me, a gentleman, could have presented himself a little more friendly. It was also surprising to see that a coffee shop like this did not offer Cold Brew or Pour Over options. I would definitely make a suggestion to add that to the menu. I order a house coffee and a Chia bowl. The coffee was very good and the bowl was beautiful and tasty. It’s easy to see why this place is a local hot spot.

May try the other location though because the food and coffee was good!

I went here for the first time yesterday, and I got the strawberry matcha. It was so good, probably the best matcha I've ever gotten. I did some work on my laptop while I was here, and it was a great environment for that. There was lots of seating and not too busy.

Ann took me for Father's Day breakfast. We had coffee and she had scrambled eggs on toast and a fruit dish. I had 2 slices of avocado on toast with mango and arugula and feta cheese and a fresh fruit bowl. Everything was outstanding. I could not finish my meal. Too much food for me. The total bill was $33 without tip.

Great spot to come have some brunch either alone or with your spouse!! The foods always on point and the atmosphere is fun and uplifting first thing in the morning. They have some nice brunch time cocktails also!! I definitely recommend coming here and giving it a try! They also have a private room for parties if ya wanna have some fun

Millie’s is a delightful breakfast spot featuring “grandma’s house” decor-meets-French Provincial. The food is good, appropriately priced. The only caution I can give is about the German potato salad. It is HEAVILY green onion seasoned. If you love green onions, this side is for you. I don’t mind some onion but there was definitely a disproportionate amount of it- So much so that I couldn’t eat it. I think it would have been a much better dish with just a green onion garnish.

This is a solid place for breakfast. I was expecting something a little more from the corned beef hash, not sure why but it was just average. There were four of us for brunch after church. The food was good. The service was good.

As a regular to go customer, i finally had the chance to dine in Table for one please! I went in on a Friday right before lunch, and of course they were busy, which is always a plus in my book especially on a weekday an hour before lunch, I waited around 10 minutes for a table which was no biggie. I ordered i believe was called the country breakfast with one biscuit and gravy added to my order, everything was fresh and hot and absolutely delicious! The French Toast was the star of the show as they get their bread from a local bakery, I'd have to say, it was probably one of the best French Toast, I've ever had. My server did disappear and i unfortunately had to ask another server for a drink refill and extra napkins, no a huge deal, just thought I'd mention it. I'll definitely be back to dine in

I was in the area and looking for something different. Felt like walking into a tea room or your gramma’s country kitchen. Appears to be for an older clientele. Many of choices. Excellent French toast and Potatoes as well. Only reason for the 4 ⭐️ is the Coffee was $3.50 with breakfast while the average is $2 or free at breakfast in most locations in the area. The coffee was not gourmet.

My family visited this cafe once while on vacation in Sarasota. It is clean, interesting design, average prices, convenient location. Breakfasts are like everywhere else. We were served by a man, and he did nothing wrong, but we felt some restraint and unfriendliness on his part, so the rest of the days of the vacation we had breakfast in another cafe. But overall I recommend this place.

Millie's is such a charming place. I love to support local businesses. The decor is cute, my MIL loved it. I've been 3 times, with different friends/family and it has not disappointed. The food is very good, great selection. A lot of tables, but they still get a waiting list. I do wish they were open a bit later, but that's okay.

The food here is amazing, the ladies at the counter always greet you with a smile. I order to go food from here a lot as I do finance for Lexus close by, one of the best breakfast spots in Sarasota.

First visit to Dutch Valley and it was pretty good. We ordered a Patty Melt with fries ($12.99), Country Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and gravy ($14.75), Lemon Pepper Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and dressing ($16.99), and a Cuban Sandwich with fries ($13.49). Both the Country Fried Steak and Leominster pepper chicken came with dessert of rice pudding. The Patty Melt was thick and served on a beautiful Swirled toast. The fries were crisp and just right. The Country Fried Steak was served with two pieces of thinner but tasty steak. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. The Lemon Pepper Chicken was a half chicken and it was tasty. The dressing was a bit too mushy but tasted fine. Cuban sandwich was delicious. We also had a cup of chili and a cup of cream of broccoli soup. The chili was tasty like Mom used to make. The cream of broccoli had a super light taste and could have used some Mrs. Dash. Rice Pudding is generally not my favorite but this one was tasty and I’m glad I ordered it. Our server was Donna and she did a good job. The dining room is fairly large with tables booths and some seating at the counter. Dining is all indoors and the dining room was decorated for Christmas. If you are in the area, this is a tasty place to stop.

If you want a blast from the past this restaurant is for you. The decor and atmosphere are definitely a relic from days gone by. That being said I kind of liked the look of the inside since I am, as they say, nostalgic. We ordered breakfast with my wife having a waffle along with bacon and an english muffin. The only real negative was the server, who was not very attentive and disappeared for a while. This made it hard to let him know that the bacon my wife ordered crisp had come up quite the opposite of that. When he did finally appear he took the bacon back to the kitchen, but the returned plate still did not have bacon that was any definition of crispy. My ham and cheese omelet and home fries, though, were very good. There are many restaurants known for their breakfast and Dutch Valley is one of them. Unfortunately, we have found others such as Millie's, Max's Table, and even Der Dutchman, to be better and, as such, will probably not be back to this one.

Tried Dutch Valley for brunch. Had great service. The breakfast was pretty good. Mixed review on the open faced sandwich. They have a giant menu so there are likely some winners in there for most patrons.

Guys, listen to me when I say: this place deserves more customers. Our server Tracey was the sweetest in the world. Her recommendations and menu advice were invaluable and her conversation was so kind-hearted. She led us towards the Saturday Turkey (basically Thanksgiving) dinner and there couldn’t have been a more perfect choice, it was so good!!! Even the other server Garrett sat with his only table and spoke with them for our entire meal, then helped them load up in their car! Talk about 5-star service!! I work in restaurants and thrive to provide the service they do. If you want great home-cooked food at a great price with healthy portions, this is your place. If you want exceptional service that makes you feel like family, you NEED to experience this restaurant. You were so sweet to that couple that (not to be sappy lol) I’ll remember it for a long time and try to meet your standards of serving. This restaurant deserves more customers!!!

Places a bit run down. The menu for me is a little too big. I guess they're trying to hit everybody's taste buds when they should just focus on some of the Staples there a little bit better. I asked for Sunny side up eggs and they came out almost hard. $6 for an added egg is a bit much too

We have been to Dutch valley several times, after work place, Christmas morning place, Sunday brunch, and today was to just grab a bite. We met with a friend which was a surprise and had the delicious sangrias and a few entrees. Our server was absolutely amazing. I’m sorry I don’t recall his name. We were laughing and having a wonderful time at this establishment, I guess we might’ve been a lil too loud or just were too happy for some peoples liking. We were told we couldn’t have anymore sangria 🤣. I guess the good vibes were too much for the manager who looked absolutely miserable. Too bad, me and my large family truly enjoy Dutch valley but I’m sure it will be awhile before we come back. Please go and enjoy the wonderful food but please keep your happiness and laughter to a minimum.

It was our first time at Dutch Valley and while it gave classic diner vibes, the food itself was not on par with the atmosphere you would expect. The breakfast was basic and underwhelming. For $17 a waffle, 3 eggs and 3 tiny strips of bacon was not worth the price, neither the double valley breakfast of 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of sausage. Almost $4 for coffee per person as well. Definitely an overpriced place.

My wife and I chose Drift Kitchen & Bar to celebrate our 7-year anniversary, drawn in by the promise of oceanfront dining and an upscale setting—and in many ways, it delivered. Located on the 8th floor of the Lido Beach Resort, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Lido Key and the Gulf that are truly breathtaking, especially at sunset. The modern decor of both the resort and the restaurant creates a sleek, elegant vibe that feels perfect for a special occasion. The service was another highlight of our evening. Our server was gracious, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Every staff member we encountered was professional and accommodating, helping set the tone for a memorable night. Where the evening fell short, unfortunately, was with the food. Each plate was presented beautifully—there’s no doubt that the kitchen knows how to plate for visual impact—but the flavors didn’t match the aesthetics. The dishes we ordered were average at best, lacking the depth or seasoning you’d expect from a restaurant in such a stunning setting. Nothing was particularly bad, just underwhelming, especially for a place that seems to aspire to fine dining. For our anniversary, we wanted a full sensory experience—great ambiance, great service, and great food. Drift nailed the first two, but the flavors just didn’t rise to the occasion. Still, if you're looking for a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink and watch the sun dip into the Gulf, it's hard to beat the view from Drift Kitchen & Bar. Just be prepared for the food to look better than it tastes.

Drift Kitchen did not disappoint! Best artichoke spinach dip i have ever had. The staff were all very courteous and did an excellent job assisting in pairing a wine with my red snapper meal. The presentation and flavor of the food was impeccable! We were sat by the windows with a beautiful view of the ocean. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Drift Kitchen and Bar has one of the nicest views on Lido Beach. Breakfast with a view is absolutely wonderful, and they do a solid job with it. Lunch and dinner, however, don’t quite measure up to the same standard. That said, the full bar and cozy atmosphere make it a great spot to stop by for drinks and appetizers while soaking in the sunset.

We had an incredible experience at The Drift, located inside the Lido Beach Resort, while celebrating my twin daughters’ 21st birthday dinner. The food and drinks were absolutely on par — flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The views of the ocean were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was just perfect — relaxed, elegant, and welcoming. It was a truly memorable evening, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate such a special milestone. Highly recommend Drift for any special occasion or a beautiful night out by the water!

Absolutely incredible experience. Reservations fill quickly, so book early. We sat at the bar since tables were full, but Danny, the bartender, made it worth it—knowledgeable, personable, and excellent with cocktails. The space is upscale yet welcoming, with Saturday football on and live piano music that set the perfect mood. Candles and a stunning sunset view elevated the atmosphere even more. Highly recommend visiting—and definitely ask for Danny.

Great energy, amazing view. Atmosphere was perfect. Server was attentive but not over bearing. Food was excellent, and I tend to complain a lot. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Romantic setting. We watched the sun set while we thoroughly enjoyed a perfect meal. We had honey Rosemary chicken wings as an appetizer. I had a gluten free chicken spinach pizza, my wife had grilled salmon. The accommodations for our allergies was phenomenal and the ability to switch side items allowed for a more enjoyable experience. The asparagus was delicious, and cooked perfectly. I also had the "Put the lime in the coconut" alcoholic beverage, and the toasted coconut on the rim of the glass just set everything up perfectly. I couldn't be happier with my experience here. The only thing missing was that they happened to not have calamari tonight. Everything else exceeded my expectations.

Food is good and fair price. Like most restaurants some dishes are five star and they have a few. Service was great and the view is 6 stars.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Even when super busy on Mother's Day, we were seated and served with a minimal wait. The food was great; I tried 3 dishes. My Reuben sandwich had very lean, soft cuts of meat. I also tried the veggie sandwich, which I will definitely order next time....really good. My son's pancakes were above par as well. Our server was quick and friendly. I recommend!

I’m not sure how anyone can give this place less than five stars!! Found it on a whim and so glad we went! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff are great! The whole place is great.. look close and you will find their hidden messages!! Would drive ten hours to eat here again!! Do not skip the gravy and biscuit..

Best breakfast burrito I’ve had in Sarasota and the potatoes are so good! Great service, sat at the bar and loved that it felt like an old time dinner. Would definitely recommend!

Just found this place hidden away in the Gulf Gate area . And what a find. Had huevos rancheros and it was amazing. I'll be coming back for sure .

Biscuits and gravy could be used to patch a hole in a cement wall. Gravy was way too thick, with a wall spackle consistency, while the biscuits were mealy and dry. Eggs were tasteless, gf got grits, which were also flavorless. No clue how this place has the reviews it does, must be a low bar for standards in this area… won’t be back.

Food was great except for the daily quiche which looked like it was one more minute away from being cremated. The atmosphere inside was very loud, it was impossible to have a conversation. Some noise dampening really should be considered. I would only sit outside if I return due to the noise.

We stopped here on our way out of town. It is clean and quaint. We were seated right away and service was great. Overall, we had a great dining experience and the food was good. There was a good selection of healthy foods and a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items. We were happy with our meal, the prices were a little high but I understand the market is unstable at this time.

We’ve always really enjoyed this place — the food is excellent, especially the burgers, and pancakes, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's one of those hidden gems that feels worth the drive… when it's open. Unfortunately, the Google Maps hours are currently incorrect, and we made the trip only to find it closed — which was super frustrating and a big waste of time, especially since it's pretty far out of the way. I hope the restaurant team can update the online info soon, because we'd love to keep coming back, but accurate hours are essential for planning a visit.

Terrific breakfast, blue berry pancakes are outstanding! All egg plates are terrific. Very busy, so service can be slow, but worth it.

This is a great breakfast/lunch place. Our waiter did a super job when there were several customers . The breakfast food was well prepared and nicely presented. The portions were quite generous. The atmosphere is simple and clean. We would go back.

Wonderful breakfast. The homemade hollendaise sauce for the classic eggs Benedict was perfection - strong on the lemon side just how I like it. They used ham steak instead of Canadian bacon but it was even better!

The food was fresh and it presented well. The house potatoes were good. Unfortunately, the shrimp and grits and the skillet didn't have much flavor.. Be prepared or willing to dress it up (salt, pepper, ketchup, etc.)

Everything about this place makes me feel home and I hate going out in public! I have panic disorder and this is one of the few restaurants I can actually go to without feeling scared and having a panic attack so I thank you first watch. Sincerely I thank you guys. My server who has split hair color, which is blue and blonde. I’m not sure of her name, but she always makes me feel valued and appreciated. I really care for her. I hope she gets a raise for this because she deserves one. She is top notch of a server. She is more of a caregiver for people at a restaurant. She always makes sure you have what you need and she is on her feet constantly getting you what you need! I highly recommend this first watch, especially because of how clean family oriented, and nice the employees all are!

Very delicious, I went today for a brunch with my bridesmaids. Arturo the Manager took care of us thank you for everything, first time at first watch everything was delicious .

The wait is never long and the staff are always friendly. This is our favorite location in town even though it's not the closest. They have a great spot by a pond to look out at and even sit out on the patio. If you haven't been to a first watch they're a great option if you're looking for something a little less traditional or healthier with traditional options for those in the party who would prefer that route. They have a seasonal menu with decent options to keep you coming to try something new or stick to their great permanent menu.

The food was good. This is a great place to stop in and grab a bite to eat. This place gives that old-school diner vibe. It is outside but it has a roof. The customer service was good. The food was good and it's perfect for a lunch spot. I tried the grilled ham and cheese with fries. The atmosphere was a little busy, but that didn't take away from the experience.

If you want a greasy burger & fries, this is your place! Five Things We Liked: 1. We enjoyed the drive-in, retro, open-air atmosphere. 2. The service was great. 3. They have a variety of beer on tap + fountain drinks. 4. The burger was greasy but good! Made in house (not frozen), cooked to medium perfection, & topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard, ketchup, & mayo. 5. The menu is pretty diverse for a drive-in. Burgers, hot dogs, salads, sandwiches, milkshakes — different options for different people. Two Things We Didn’t Love: 1. The fries. They serve crinkle cut fries without salt. Pretty bland & boring. 2. Location. I’m sure when they first opened, the location was perfect! But now, it’s on a really busy & loud road.

The atmosphere is cool but traffic is loud. The burger is pretty plain, not much flavor to it. The fries were ok nothing to get excited about and the soda selection was pretty small. I wouldn't return. The pictures made it look good, but it dropped the ball on flavors.

This place is precious! If you like the old school neighborhood small diner experience, then you need to stop here. Hob Nob is a small open air, no frills diner right out of the 50s/early 60s. Community style seating at large metal clad picnic tables fosters socializing and conversation. We were immediately acknowledged with a smile and told to sit anywhere. An older gentleman indicated there was plenty of room at his table (not that the place was crowded) so we joined him. He proceeded to entertain us with interesting stories and slightly naughty jokes. He was a hoot. Server took our orders promptly and as this was our first time answered our questions about the menu gladly. Our food came out rather quickly. Wife had the classic patty melt. I opted for the "Hob Nob" which was a juicy, grilled, double patty cheeseburger with all the fixins! I also had the onion rings, which if you know me, you know i LOVE onion rings. These were very tasty and not greasy one bit! Nice crunch to them. Hob Nob is definitely a great spot for a casual lunch. Good prices, great food, great service! Ps - it does sit on the intersection, so traffic noise can get a bit loud, so maybe not the best spot for a meeting :)

Great place for a burger and fries or onion rings. It's open air with just a roof and fans, so if you are looking for air conditioning this is not the place. However, if you don't mind the heat, or you go during the winter months it's a great place for a quick bite.

Great service and food. My order looks 2as takeout. There is no indoor dining, just a covered outside dining area! Burger was tasty, just too many onions, which are easily removed. Onion rings were lightly battered and not greasy.

The waiter was really nice and attentive. The best thing about my breakfast was the cheese grits. The eggs and bacon were ok. The pancake was a complete miss.

Cragers food is NOT GOOD!!! I ordered the fried chicken and the chicken wings were no bigger than your thumb. Very small. Not only that but the greens taste like it came out from a can and put into a microwave. The rice was hard to chew. Onion rings were soggy with no texture. This was o 7/23/25 at 7:00 pm. The only positive that was there was the waitress. She tried so hard to help and she knew the quality of food was terrible! It's nothing like the photos shown on FB or online. False advertising for sure!

First time here since new ownership. I was greeted with a smile & positive attitude. Server was very attentive and prompt. The menu was a great selection. I chose the Country Fried Steak with eggs and grits, but I also had the choice to choice a single pancake (which came with fruit). Food came and it looked delicious. I'm a country boy raised on similar food and it took me back in time with lots of memories. While eating, the servers were smiling and laughing, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will be back next weekend. Thanks to the restaurant for such a great experience. Many blessings on years of great satisfaction. RON

My son introduced me to this cafe a few years ago. My sister was in town and we are both vegetarian and I knew she would love it. Food is unique and healthy and delicious! Sandwiches and side salads are very good size portions. The iced berry tea and the skittles pressed juice were fresh and fantastic. They also have a variety of daily specials. We enjoyed it so much we ate there three days in a row!!

I love Simon’s! I’ve been going for years and the food is always amazing! I always go for any vegan specials and the soups are always delicious and unique! I also never leave without a dessert for later! Such a great variety of vegan, gluten free and other items! A huge bonus is that their entire team is incredible! Local- family owned- great options- check them out!

Wonderful local spot with delicious food! Great selection of healthy items from desserts, smoothies, wraps and wine! Enjoyed a cup of Java and the Big Ben breakfast skillet. The Somoa cookies were delicious and paired perfectly with the coffee. Our server Renee was the best, taking care of us. Will be back!

The coffee and food always super fresh. It doesn't make you feel heavy or sluggish when finished. The customer service is out of this world. 10/10 would recommend.

Been going to Simon's for over 20 years! My Favorite place to eat in Sarasota! The menu caters to everyone.. meat lovers, vegans, and gluten allergies. My Favorite is the French Salad with a scoop of Chicken salad, and a Dirty Chai. 10/10 all day.. everyday!!

You know when you get that warm fuzzy feeling after having a good breakfast at a family owned cozy restaurant? That’s what you get here. The environment is so warm and welcoming and the food/drinks are outstanding. First timer because they were on the Sarasota coffee crawl list and I’m so glad I found them. Bravo!!!!!!!!

Great homemade food. Absolutely worth a visit. I ordered the enchilada casserole and would have licked it clean if my face would have fit inside the bowl. :-)

This is a nice diner tucked into a strip mall. Ample parking and a reasonably large menu. We all had different things such as omelets, pancakes, oatmeal, and hashbrowns and biscuits. The biscuits were home made as was most everything else. The food was unanimously enjoyed and the service was fast and friendly.

Been eating here since '07. Food always fresh. Fresh produce and brioche buns and proteins. Decent portions. Service is always quick. Never a long wait. Laid back dining.. No hurry, never was rushed out.

Great place! We were there for breakfast. They also have lunch and dinner so we will go back to try that. Our coffee cups never got empty. Our waitress was very good! Other waitresses also filled Our coffee. Nice place!

I am a local and go this place often, although I think I won't anymore. I am astounded by the lack of service and the lack of caring. They have a large staff, but most often, they are just standing around talking instead of refilling coffee or water, or acting like they actually care about their customers. The food is wildly inconsistent. Some days it is delicious. Other days, order the exact same thing and it will be burned. I mean you can smell and taste and see the burn - it's not subtle. Yet, still the cook sends it out with no embarrassment or concern. Toast is completely black, eggs are burnt brown. Then the waitress serves it with no concern or embarrassment that she's serving a burned meal. This happens way too often. Probably 50% of the time the meals are great, 50% they are horrible. Most concerning is that no one cares! This restaurant needs quality control more than almost any other place I can think of.

Honey tree is a nice solid place and I always enjoy going there to breakfast. I recommend their omelettes as I enjoy them. Good place overall 4 stars
