Seafood restaurant
Rebecca's Seafood is a cash-only eatery located on Water Street, just across from the Old Harbor ferry landing. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an extensive menu. There are options for take-out as well as outdoor and indoor seating areas. Despite its name, Rebecca's Seafood offers more than just seafood; their Town Breakfast is a popular choice for a traditional and hearty morning meal.
Honestly I didn't expect anything spectacular, but the food was surprisingly good! My pastrami sandwich tasted really good, smokey, salty, not fatty or chewy (I don't like it when the pastrami is more fat than meat). I asked for some pickles because I like my pastrami with pickels, and they gave me some, so I'm a satisfied customer 👍 my husband tried the chicken wrap, he said that it was really good to (I didn't try it because I was so happy with my pastrami). It was really nice, I think we are going to eat here again when we visit the island next time.

Solid scallop roll. Fry was on point. I could have eatin 3 or 4 of these bad boys. Compliments to the Chef! Front of house crew different story.
Brandyn R — Google review
This was exactly what we needed when we needed it! We were tired, hot, and just needed basic food before heading back on the ferry. My wife got a burger and I ordered a turkey sandwich. For both of us, it totalled just under $20. It was even recommend by another restaurant owner after we explained what we were looking for! Took a few minutes to get our order but as the sign says, they make it right then.
Russ G — Google review
Not the best chowder. I love good clam chowder. There were barely any clams in my bowl. Tastes like maybe it has roasted pepper in it? Clam cakes were fresh, but sadly rubbery and not very flavorful. They also have a strong black pepper flavor We only got chowder and clam cakes. Maybe other items are better. It seems busy. Nice atmosphere. Nice outdoor seating. “Cheap” as island prices go.
Jacqueline S — Google review
We stopped here for a picky-kid-friendly lunch (hot dogs, grilled cheese, chicken fingers, fries) when we got off the ferry. Patio umbrellas at the outdoor tables were much appreciated on this hot day. Food was ready quickly. Plan ahead and bring cash!
Bridget S — Google review
I got a marinated grilled chicken sandwich on a roll and it was absolutely perfect. Everything is made to order and it was a reasonable price. *Cash Only* Note: The ATM across the street charges $7 for withdrawals - so be sure to bring cash with you.

I came here from a local recommendation so I came with optimism. That in mind, here's how it went: When I walked in neither I nor my friend was acknowledged. The two girls working front of house were not very busy, and the blonde one working the register looked as if she couldn't not care less about making patrons feel welcomed. I was pretty hungry, and the Mahi Mahi blackened sandwich sounded good. I saw that it costs $15.99 (just the sandwich), so I was hoping for a decent portion size. Thus, I asked the blonde girl how big the piece of fish would be. She showed with her hands that it would be the about size of a sandwich bun. I took her word for it so both my friend and I ordered the sandwich. When our sandwitches came, they were plopped on the counter, wrapped but not in a to go bag. After asking for a bag and heading off to New Harbor, we sat down to eat our sandwiches. The piece of fish on both sandwiches was pathetic, nowhere near as big as the bun. My friend thought hers tasted good, but mine honestly tasted bland, barely with any blackened flavor. The bun was good, but that's it for me. I was just plain disappointed.

The Old Post Office Bagel Shop is a charming breakfast spot known for its delicious New York-style bagels and strong coffee. Despite the crowds, the efficient staff ensures quick service for those dining in or grabbing breakfast to go. The shop offers a variety of toppings for their tasty bagels, along with hearty breakfast sandwiches, fresh pastries, and giant muffins that are popular among visitors.
This place is always a must-visit during my trips to Block Island! The bagels are the freshest on the island. Great quality, fast service, and consistently reliable. Definitely recommend it for a quick breakfast stop! I’m also glad they’ve brought back the lunch sandwiches. Perfect snack for the beach!
Lauren F — Google review
My go to spot for a quick breakfast and coffee on my way into work. Great selection of bagels and breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff. Don’t sleep on the lunch menu either! Had their chicken pesto sandwich for the first time today, 10/10.
Shannon D — Google review
I was actually very pleasantly impressed with the bagels. I liked them and thought that they could compete with bagel shops in New York. Nice selection of other breakfast items for people who want something else. Coffee was decently good as well. Expect the lines of course.
Alan — Google review
Place was great. They took our order fast and we’re very friendly. Our coffees came out in less than a few minutes and then the sandwiches were pretty soon thereafter and they were very good only critique on the sandwiches is that they toast the bagel a little more
Cory D — Google review
I’ll definitely come back to this place, the staff is friendly, service is fast and food is great!!!! They have breakfast and lunch, a must when you go to Block Island!
Isabel V — Google review
First time in the island and for sure this is a must go breakfast and lunch place! Amazing fresh bagels, great service and atmosphere. Would recommend it a 10000 times!
Renata P — Google review
This is a go-to breakfast and lunch spot because it often has a much shorter wait than other options. The egg and cheese on a bagel is consistently good as is their cold brew. The gigantic muffins they serve are also a big hit for us; the blueberry and mixed berry ones were particularly excellent. We’ve also tried the shop for lunch. The pesto chicken wrap was a favorite, and the chipotle chicken wrap was good too. The staff are helpful and friendly. The shop does have a restroom, but it is behind the counter and tucked into a hallway, so it’s necessary to ask to use it, but the staff said yes every time anyone from our group asked. For folks visiting by bike, there is a rack right near the entrance to the shop. If that one is full, then the rack by the grocery store usually has space. And, if both of those are full, there is a small rack next to the dumpster is the parking lot; it rarely has any bikes in it.
Andrew Z — Google review
I’d heard great things about this place, and I was really looking forward to trying the bagels! We got there after breakfast time (who even still does timed menus?) and the lunch menu has a singular vegetarian option, which is a wrap. You could potentially remove the meat from one of the other menu options, but that’s always a raw deal for the customer because you still pay for meat. One of the employees suggested I could get a Caesar wrap because there’s only 2% anchovies. Setting aside that *any* amount of fish is unacceptable, I was trying to eat a meal, and dressed lettuce in a wrap is nowhere close to as substantial as a breakfast sandwich. My companions enjoyed their meals, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Aldo's Bakery is a beloved spot among locals on Block Island, offering an array of delectable sweet treats. While it serves classic breakfast items like bacon, eggs, and waffles, its specialty lies in freshly baked pastries and breads. The family-run bakery has been a staple for over 40 years, maintaining a commitment to homemade goodness. Visitors rave about the visually stunning and delicious pastries such as chocolate glazed donuts and eclairs.
Love Aldo's! So happy to see they opened at 5:30am (perfect to grab coffee and food before heading to watch a sunrise). The pastry cases are magnificent, the coffee is delicious, and I also grabbed a meat burrito that made me belly very happy! Everyone who waited on us both days were very pleasant (despite it being so early in the am). Can't wait to go back to Aldo's next time we're on Block Island!
Frank L — Google review
Good ice cream but few dollars more expensive per scoop than the place across the street plus they add a fee if you use a credit card. They roast their own coffee that is really good and the bags are reasonably priced!
Jake C — Google review
Decent sandwiches for the price. We liked the lox bagel, but avocado toast had more onion than tomatoes and not enough avocado actually, so I don't recommend it. Really good coffee and ice cream
Alex — Google review
We are in love with Aldo's boat delivery! The coffee is to die for, the pastries are amazing, the sandwiches are delicious. The best part is the service: you can HAIL the guys on VHF, they show up with a great smile and they sing 🎶 while delivering. We have lived on our boat for 5 years, travel 24 states and multiple countries and never experienced something so cool. We had other deliveries but never a boat with so many food options and such a superb service.

Oh my goodness. The pastries from here are absolutely amazing. Not only are they visually beautiful, they're just as fresh and tasty as they look. The chocolate glazed donut I had here is one of the best I've ever had, hands down. I had this with some fresh squeezed orange juice and their acai bowl. Before heading home I decided to pick up an eclair, another chocolate donut, and a raspberry pastry. This will definitely be a stop every time I come to the island. Can't pass up this high quality pastry! The last time I was here I also had some of their sorbet and it was equally excellent. Creamy, smooth, and delicious.

My husband and I rode bikes around BI and were in search of some good ice cream. We were on our way to a different place, but saw this place and thought we would try it. SO GOOD! We got the Boston Creme and Cookie Dough flavors and they were both delicious.
Briana H — Google review
Delicious selection of pastries, cookies, and breakfast sandwiches. We did not enjoy their iced coffee because their caramel swirl syrup did not taste like real caramel. Their breakfast sandwiches were delicious and their cookies are huge.
SP — Google review
If you want ice cream, go to Aldo's! They have a great selection, and they will even give you a sample to make sure you like it before you buy it. (Not all the shops in town will give samples!) This year, we also pre-ordered a birthday cake, and it was delicious. Vanilla cake, vanilla frosting, and chocolate chip ice cream filling. We got the 10" and it was more than enough for 15 people. Team Aldo's!!

In addition to smoothie bowls and toast options such as almond butter with strawberry or avocado with sea salt and radish.
This place truly is amazing. Never in one place have I found great coffee along with delicious gluten free food options. Get there early because the line and wait gets crazy for good reason during the summer.
Lou S — Google review
This certainly is a happening place. The lines are very long when you go in the season. But. I am really not sure why all the raves. The frittata was just ok. The Lala toast was supposed to have pesto on it, and it looked like it did, but you couldn’t really taste it. Very bland. The blueberry muffin tasted like a cake, not a muffin. I ended up throwing it away. The coffee was ok but not cafe quality. The berry scone was the best thing we had. We ate it. I can best describe it as tasting like fast food. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth the wait. Sorry
Alan — Google review
My bf & I spent the last 6 days in BI & I made sure to come here everyday for lunch because I enjoyed it so much! My go to order was the yogurt bowl, with local cow whole milk yogurt which was delicious. My bf loved the Lala toast & the Nutella toast. Such a cute little place with good quality food <3
Tiana S — Google review
Absolutely adore this place and the girls working at the counter! They were so kind and helpful. It was my first time on BI!! I got the blue ginger per recommendation - dare I say I was beyond amazed. Totally recommend this adorable cafe. Great atmosphere, incredible customer service at the counter, and would come back just for that smoothie.
Annika I — Google review
I was really disappointed with the experience. I waited over an hour just to order, and then another 20 minutes to receive three smoothies. There was only one person working at the register, and it was clear they were overwhelmed. The place seemed totally unprepared for the number of customers. The smoothies were fine, but definitely not worth the wait. They seriously need more staff.
Ana S — Google review
Many gluten free and vegan options! We had a great meal and drinks here. Very nice environment.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. I got the egg cheese and avocado with a hibiscus lemongrass iced tea, excellent. My husband got the egg cheese avocado w bacon and iced coffee, excellent. We topped it off w a slice of sour cream coffee cake, yummy! Beautiful day to sit outside so we did! People waiting in line is always a good sign. Highly recommend for a healthy breakfast! Vegan options are abundant!

Ernie’s is one of those no-frills breakfast joints that’s clearly earned its place in the hearts of both locals and early-rising visitors. It’s not trying to be trendy, it’s not overthinking things — and that’s exactly what makes it work. You walk in and you know right away: this is a spot that’s been around long enough to know breakfast. Friendly staff, a cozy diner-style setup, and food that shows up hot and just the way you ordered it. By the time we were heading out, there was a solid crowd waiting for tables — always a good sign when the locals are willing to wait. I got exactly what I was in the mood for — nothing fancy, just satisfying, well-cooked breakfast classics. The kind of place where eggs are eggs, coffee is coffee, and everything feels just a little better because you’re on Block Island. If you’re looking for modern twists and avocado toast with edible flowers, this isn’t it. But if you want a solid, satisfying breakfast in a place that feels like part of the island’s rhythm — Ernie’s is the spot.
Gene H — Google review
There’s always a line, but that alone tells you you’re in for a treat. If you’re patient, it’s worth the wait. We stopped in for breakfast, and as always, it did not disappoint. Pancakes for my 10-year-old, a Philly Steak omelette for me, and Bennie’s Avocado for my husband. Generous portions, very reasonable prices, and service that feels like home. The lady who runs it (so sorry I didn’t catch her name) is incredible! She does it all! Hostess, waitress, manager, she works the room effortlessly. My husband was in awe just watching her work her magic. Truly a gem of a place that keeps us coming back.
Barnie K — Google review
The pancake taco was the best thing I've eaten in a long time, loved it! Really good breakfast, we will be back!
Michael K — Google review
Excellent service hash browns were very good as well as the pancakes
Joe G — Google review
Unfortunately this is a cash only establishment, the problem is that there is no notice to this fact before sitting down and reading the menu, so the hostess took our name (no mention of the cash only policy) we waited 20 minutes to get a seat, which is fine, we sat down and in the bottom of the menu it discretely states cash only, then we were told that their ATM was down. I mentioned to the women, I belive was a manager that it would be helpful if they had a sign at the front to let customers know that it was cash only to avoid wasting people's time waiting, she looked at me surprised and said it sails it on the menu, she completely missed the point, however there is a nice spot across the street that accepts cards, (Lunch Bucket) and the also serve breakfast and the prices are actually less than the cash only
David B — Google review
The food at Ernie’s was decent, but the service was terrible. Our server was rude from the start, had no welcoming attitude, and even spilled a drink on my girlfriend without much of an apology. It felt like she didn’t want to be there, and honestly, she should probably consider a career change because customer service is clearly not her strength. Wouldn’t recommend if you value a pleasant dining experience.
Andrew C — Google review
Rude Service, Dirty Silverware, and No Manager Support at Ernie’s Review: Worst breakfast ever at Ernie’s on Block Island. Server spilled a drink on me, mocked my words, and had an attitude when I asked for clean plastic silverware. Same rudeness when my son asked for hot sauce. No manager came over, and the only polite person was a boy about 8–10 clearing tables. Completely unacceptable.

Phenomenal location, service, food, and drinks! We felt welcomed from the second we arrived until the moment we left. Staff checked in on us regularly to make sure that we were satisfied. Our server G was attentive and outstanding! Food was fantastic! Drinks were fantastic! I cannot say enough about the positive experience we had.

Really fun place to hang out at while you are on the island. You can sit inside or eat at tables ON the beach. Either way, it’s a great view and really relaxing. At night they have music so you can drink at the bar and listen. It’s easy to walk to from “town”. I had a frozen mudslide. It was delicious. Just remember though. It has alcohol in it! The food was good. The steak and lobster rolls were good. But you shouldn’t go for the quality of the food. You should go for the atmosphere and to enjoy what the place has to offer. Buy a shirt too!

Perfect spot to grab a meal before heading back to the mainland! The chicken lettuce wraps were a fantastic starter, and the entrées were just as delicious—I left already wanting to come back. Pair that with the gorgeous beachside view, and this place is the ultimate place on Block Island for dining!
Mackenzie V — Google review
Good evening, September 21st or 22nd, I went to Block Island with friends and I was very excited to take them to Ballards. My first time here was in May this year. I have to say the oysters were my absolute favorite. I ordered two dozen for myself. I was very excited to show my friends and have them try oysters for the first time. Unfortunately they didn’t get to try because the oysters that came out looked very discolored and dilapidated. I was so so excited to have the oysters again but on Sunday it was nothing like the oysters you served before. The difference was night and day. I didn’t complain or send it back because we were still waiting on the rest of our food. The price of $48 was worth it to me when it was fresh, but on Sunday I had to force myself to eat it so I don’t waste almost $50. To be able to get it down I drowned it in Tabasco sauce. I have pictures and the shells are also discolored as if the oysters were sitting out for a while. I’m also taken back at whoever thought this was appropriate to serve to a customer. I was not only disappointed, I was embarrassed by hyping something up to my friends-just to be let down. The pasta was good and pretty.
Shiawase — Google review
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my friend’s bachelorette! We rented a cabana, and I’m so glad because we had plenty of shade and space for our group of 6 to hang out. Having a buzzer for our waitress was a plus that I wasn’t expecting and definitely appreciated throughout the day. The food and drinks were great, and we were at ease seeing security nearby and keeping an eye on things. Would absolutely consider coming back to rent a cabana again for another beach day!
Food C — Google review
Rented a cabana for the first time recently. What a treat! Wonderful amenities and our server, Ranz, from the Philippines, was amazing! So polite, got our orders right, was prompt and friendly. He was literally running across the beach all day. Great job and attitude. Thank you for making our best day even better!
Kathy H — Google review
The lobster was divine—so fresh, caught the same day right from the ocean. And the scallops from Alaska? Absolutely unforgettable. The service was outstanding, and everything came together perfectly. If you’re looking for the best seafood on the island, Ballard’s is the place. The view is breathtaking, with a refreshing ocean breeze and stunning turquoise water. There’s even live music—downstairs, a talented guitarist sets the mood just right. I wholeheartedly recommend it—hands down the BEST beach spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the island. A must-visit!
Krisi C — Google review
When most people hear of Ballard’s Beach Resort, they associate it with getting off the ferry and day drinking out of pineapples on the beach. You can’t beat the lively music, crazy waves, and stunning views. Sadly, if you’re not staying over on the island, then you probably would not know if they offer an amazing dinner nightly from 7 to 10 PM is worth way more than they’re charging. I ordered the fillet special purchase $19 which included filet mignon, fingerling, potatoes, and asparagus. While the portion size didn’t allow for leftovers, it was plenty to fill me up after a day of walking around and beaching it. When our server Diana came over to the table to take our order, I explained my allergies. She wrote everything down and personally spoke to the bartender and the chef who were both willing to accommodate my needs. I love a good dirty martini, but because of my allergy to red peppers, I often cannot have a dirty martini at restaurants because the olive juice has had olives with pimentos in them or the olives have been placed with cherries which I’m also allergic to. Diana went above and on by securing a jar of green olives that did not have pimentos and had the bartender make my drinks using that. Talk about exceptional service! When the food was brought out, Shawn, the manager, personally came over to see to it that I was all set. He told me how the head chef at Ballard’s personally saw to it that everything was safe for me in the kitchen. He also conversed easily with my husband and me and have us smiling and laughing in no time. That’s a rare gift! Ballards is very lucky to have him as a manager representing their establishment. If you’re looking for something other than filet mignon, you’ll be happy to know that they also offer a lobster special from 7 to 10 PM that is $20. We saw quite a few plates go by, and let me just tell you they were the biggest lobsters I’ve ever seen!!! My husband and I will be back for sure. He loved his gluten free Mac and cheese with shrimp, and I loved my filet! The sunset dinner deals will have us and our friends coming back. This genius deal, stunning view, delicious food, focused attention to accommodating allergies, and exceptional service have turned us into new customers!

BI Bodega is a convenient one-stop shop on Block Island that offers a variety of items. From groceries and local eggs to grab-and-go lunches, this place has it all. You can find everything from pizza slices, empanadas, and ice cream to bottled beverages and charcuterie board essentials. In addition to food items, they also offer convenience products like toiletries, sunscreen, lottery tickets, and tobacco. Visitors highly recommend the top-notch egg sandwiches and really good coffee available here.
What a joy - a classic convenience store that is open very late! Can't even count the number of times I've noticed that I forgot to pack toothpaste or pick up bottled water or maybe even some Pepcid AC, and they carry it all and so much more. And I can grab and go at 11:30pm. Staff could be a little friendlier I suppose but I'm not complaining.

Loved the breakfast sammies on buttermilk biscuits, iced coffee, kind service. Recommend. No photo but chill shop. Also a general store NYC bodega style with convenience store needs.
Linzy A — Google review
The cheapest and best quality grocery store on the island 🏝️ 👏
Rasim G — Google review
Friendly customer service. Wide selection of food for a quick bite if you don’t want to sit down. A little pricey, but so is everything else on the island.
Jason M — Google review
Top notch egg sandwiches and really good coffee make Bodega a very welcome new addition to the island in my book! There’s also any/every snack food you could dream up here, too, and super friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Meghan R — Google review
It would be a sin to call it the 7-11 of Block Island but it is a great convenience store with breakfast sandwiches, Jamaican Pies which I would say are akin to an Empanada.
David S — Google review
Only stocks the island’s most racist and disrespectful people. Nothing worth buying there just go to the grocery store.
Sasha T — Google review
Convenient but could have a better selection of items.

The food at Odd Fellows Cafe is fantastic, with options like the chicken Philly and Marty. Customers even traded halves of their meals to ensure everyone got to enjoy the delicious dishes. The menu also includes items like pretzel dogs and broccoli chowder soup, all of which are reasonably priced. This cafe is a hidden gem that offers great food and friendly service. It's a perfect spot for coffee lovers, as they serve amazing iced coffee.
I’ve never seen this cafe before and I was recovering from an Easter bender and needed some caffeine before trudging through Block Island sound on the way back to the mainland. This was the best metaphorical Easter egg that I could hope to find! Great spot, friendly staff, and amazing iced coffee/food. Thanks to you Odd Fellows!

This is a fun spot right on the harbor front in New Shoreham on Block Island. The pastries are made fresh on site every morning. I had a raspberry tart that was delicious and made me want a second one. Coffee was very good and the service was fast and friendly. I didn’t get to try the hot items on the menu but everything looked and smelled yummy. If the weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the boats and people come and go. I’ll be back!
Curt M — Google review
Coffee was good and it's in a good location but the person who served me was rude. The people preparing/delivering the food were super friendly. The other problem with this place is, you have to wait for your number to be called. So for a simple coffee, and nothing else, I had to wait 5 - 10 minutes. First they gave me the wrong order, then filled my coffee up only three quarters of the way.
Anthony J — Google review
Convenient food and coffee shop right by the ferry landing. Their baked goods were delicious but the coffee sucked. My wife and I ordered 2 flavored ice coffees and they were both essentially plain; no flavor at all. When I asked if we could get more pumps of flavoring they said they charge for it. Which would be acceptable if you actually made the coffee right in the first place. Sandwiches looked good. Avoid the coffee unless you want it plain.

Odd Fellows Cafe, located on Block Island, is a nice cafe located right off the main street across from the port. I ordered an iced coffee, which was tasty. There is a nice patio that overlooks the harbor, which made for a quick rest spot as we were exploring the island on bikes. Plus, the staff was friendly.
Chris T — Google review
This is a very convenient spot to grab a coffee and pasty before you hop on the ferry to leave Block Island. The whole milk latte and chocolate croissant I had were pretty good. I’d strongly recommend budgeting at least 15-20 minutes to obtain your food and drink here.
Andrew Z — Google review
Great coffee, cozy vibe, and super friendly staff. The latte was amazing, and the pastries were fresh. Perfect spot to relax or work — definitely coming back!
Hristo S — Google review
I’ve visited this location several times, and while I haven’t always had a pleasant experience, having witnessed the owner become noticeably irritable and even irate when the shop gets busy, I still found myself returning. That makes what I’ve learned about the treatment of employees all the more troubling. It’s deeply concerning to hear that the owner, Kate, has repeatedly failed to pay staff on time, despite being fully aware of the high cost of living on the island. Not only that, but promising their final paycheck and then blocking them after they further inquire about it? It is utterly ridiculous. Even worse are the reported instances of mistreatment: employees being pressured to work through health conditions and made to feel guilty for calling out due to health concerns. Remarks like, “We might have to close early because of this,” are not just unprofessional but downright unethical. It’s surprising that the Department of Labor, OSHA, or the Better Business Bureau haven’t already intervened. Perhaps it’s only a matter of time before formal action is taken. Employees deserve dignity, respect, and fair treatment — not to be treated as if they are disposable. Do better.

The Lunch-Bucket Block Island is a charming spot that offers a delightful selection of sustainable cheeses, meats, and quality accompaniments sourced from local farms and artisans. The picturesque setting with picnic tables overlooking the water makes it an ideal place to savor their delectable offerings. Visitors rave about the meatloaf burger and hand-cut fries, while others praise the refreshing drinks and breakfast sandwiches.
Exceptional burger and fries with a great ‘homemade’ feel. Right in the heart of New Shoreham. There is primarily outdoor seating but there are several chairs and a couple of tables inside as well. A combo meal consists of an $11 burger, $7 fries, and a free drink. (Can of soda, bottle of water, etc)

Went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary and was looking on block island for the best food, and I definitely found it. The fries were so fresh and perfectly sized, the mozzarella sticks were amazing and the shaved steak was probably the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Im assuming the man there was the owner? He was super friendly and inviting, and my girlfriend also said that "that was the crunchiest lettuce she's ever had on a burger." If youre on block island and want fresh, amazing food, come here. You'll leave full and happy.
Minimelt — Google review
The promise : bacon cheeseburger 14 dollars . « included toppings lettuce onion tomato pickles » . And the choice between 4 cheeses. In your plate : a piece of good meat with fried bacon and swiss cheese (we ordered the cheddar choice) and we are still trying to find where lettuce onion and tomato were hiding - no trace at all - FBI might find them one day ! Long waiting time for that . Do not recommend

Block Island hidden gem alert. Big portions of delicious food at the cheapest prices you'll find on the island. This is a very casual picnic table kind of place but they have a large menu and everything is really good. I had the best Philly cheesesteak ever and I lived in Philly for years. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is of high quality. Five stars for keeping the price is reasonable!

We had breakfast, arrived around 8:30am, ordered and food in about 10 minutes, our eggs were served hot and exactly to order (over-easy and scrambled) my husband said the sausages and hash browns were delicious. Fresh squeezed orange juice delightful. Plenty of outside seating, picnic tables with umbrellas. Nice view of old harbor. The island needed a casual quality breakfast place like this.
Julie R — Google review
Called in an order before catching the ferry and it was ready so fast. Breakfast sandwich was massive; so filling. & the breakfast burrito had perfectly seasoned veggies. Oozing with flavor. Super friendly staff & great views. Can’t wait to come back!
Leanne K — Google review
Wow. Perfectly made blackened mahi mahi and freshly cut fries. 10/10, go here for an easy delicious lunch, esp if you’re right off the ferry

Excellent food. Quick service for a large group. We stopped by yesterday with no notice with about 30 people who were very hungry. They were awesome with our group. They took everyone's order and got the food to the tables SO quickly. And the food was extremely good. (We mostly had burgers and fries...both were delicious) We will definitely be back with our group. (hopefully with some notice this time) And highly recommend this place. Very convenient to the ferry. Seating outside was comfortable with a beautiful view.

The Blue Dory Inn is a charming Victorian B&B located in downtown, just a short walk from the ferry and steps away from the beach. The inn offers beautifully updated rooms filled with antiques, creating a romantic and historic atmosphere. Guests can enjoy daily wine receptions and complimentary breakfast featuring the famous sand dollar cookies. Additionally, the inn provides loaner beach chairs for guests to relax by the shore.
We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Blue Dory Inn in the cheapest room I’m pretty sure (Ocean Sonnet). It was cozy and had plenty of space for 2 people to move around. Bed was comfortable and we fell asleep hearing the waves crash on the shore through the cracked skylight window. Great location right next to the ferry and downtown area. Everything was clean and the staff were a joy to interact with. The fresh made breakfast included in the room price was delicious and the perfect start to our day, and I really appreciated how every time the manager got a compliment about the food from a guest, he said, “Thank you! She does a great job” pointing the praise to the housekeeper/cook. There are many little touches that make this place so enjoyable, like access to free beach towels and chairs, complimentary wine and cheese hour, and letting us leave our bags after check out because our ferry didn’t get in until later that night. Don’t hesitate to book here! Also the resident ginger cat was a very sweet surprise at check in. The friendliest cat ever and laid half his body on my lap and the other half on my husband’s lap as we sat on the couch waiting to check in ☺️

We came here for my girlfriends birthday and she absolutely loved everything about the place,so did I, and our dog possibly loved it the most. The gentleman running the house was friendly helpful and everything we needed. The food for the wine hour was sneaky good the cook made this really good dip and there was fresh salsa, cheese, fruit and crackers. The breakfast was also good. The location was perfect with the beach right behind the house and a short walk to downtown. Really a great place we highly recommend coming here i know we will be back.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The manager, Garrison, was absolutely the best host ever. He was inviting and helpful. I could tell he truly loves what he does. Staying here for the conversation alone was worth it. It also helped that I had a nice view, and the breakfast was fresh/very good. I can't wait to go back.

What a place. Took us in short notice. Gave us a wonderful room. Breakfast in the tea room. Food was made fresh that morning. Staff was above helpful. Oh forgot they have a separate fridge for guests. We kept are ice packs cold for the beach coolers. Don’t miss out. Book early

The perfect place to stay in Block Island! Easy access to beach, nice porch, beautiful view, comfy room, Wine hour and home made breakfast, able to drop luggage off early and keep there before departing, kind innkeeper. We went off season so grate rates!

Cannot recommend the Blue Dory Inn enough. The location is perfect, the inn was so cozy, private cottage was perfect and the staff was wonderful and made us feel at home. We will absolutely be back and cannot wait for the next time!
