It’s a pretty place hidden near the old town, the ambience is great and the cappuccino tasted good, the prices are nominal, well decorated interiors and they provide you free tap water, the red velvet cake was much salty could haven’t been better, when informed them they refunded half the price and provided a tiny smoothie which was a good gesture, overall good

Here it is quiet and you can speak easily. There are 2 types of beans for coffee, but there were little bit the same. Flat White with oat milk wasn't tasty. The ingwer cookie wasn't fresh and didn't feel so much. Honey torte is very tasty.

I really recommend this place to study. It has good atmosphere, is quiet and long tables. The coffee was freshly grounded. Will come back soon.

Very cozy, unique place. A big sortiment of cakes, sweets and hot drinks. I chose the honey cake and filtered coffee. The cake was very similar to the traditional Russian honey cake (медовый торт) which I couldn’t find anywhere in Nürnberg, so I definitely recommend you try it! The coffee was definitely one of the best I’ve tried. If I am not mistaken the “small” pot eas around 300ml which is way more than “small” portions in other cafes. Overall, very nice place to have a coffee and I will be visiting this place more often!

We stayed a night in Nurnberg and were looking for a place to have breakfast since we wanted a change from the standard hotel breakfasts that we often get on travels. Google recommended this place as one of the cafes nearby the hotel. Glad we followed the tip. The vegan and vegetarian sandwich that we had was freshly made and delicious. The Greek yoghurt “Good mood” more than lives up to its name. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The cakes looked delicious but unfortunately we were too full to try them. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

The vegan wrap was delicious 😋. Service was good and efficient. A bit pricey, but it is the big city. We wanted to eat outside but we're infested with bees. There were even dead bees 🐝 on the table and benches.

Nice burgers for the value you pay. Food was delivered quite fast and was delicious. There is plenty of choice for vegetarian options (burgers). Note: you can also "tune" your burgers or in other words add extra ingredients to your burger of choice. We also recommend the lemonade they make.

Great and centric place. Ordered an avocado hamburger and was delicious. Won't take it with multigrain bread next time as it kind of breaks apart. Staff really nice. Will repeat.

Called in for our evening meal what a great place. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was excellent with a good selection of drinks. The restaurant was spotlessly clean with some good music on. We had the currywurst and a veggie burger both really tasty. Thank you.

I had high hopes for this restaurant. We arrived and the place was 75% empty with three staff members working the room. We were seated at 1100. We watched two servers talk and clear a large table in record “slow time”. At 11:20 our drinks and food were ordered. At 12:05 our food was delivered. My water glass had a dangerous sharp chip in the rim. The staff is young and inattentive. Sadly I can’t recommend this restaurant.

Close to city center and 2 big parkhouses, a lovely chilly place for a date or a gathering with friends. Good cocktails and just great fries. Children friendly

I went for lunch so it was rush hour as expected. A bit loud but not that much to be annoying, again expected considering the time. Big place with modern interior design and a lot of tables , inside and outside. Tha staff were quick, friendly and in general excellent at their job. The food was amazing. A friend told me to get the tomato soup and I did. DID NOT disappoint, delicious and full of taste. I also got the BBQ Korean chicken which was also excellent in taste and cooking. I had a great time but next time i would sit outside if I could to enjoy the view of the church and fountain and the overall plaza.

Expensive and crowded. Probably because of the location. On a Friday night you need to be lucky to get a table. The service was fast despite all the people. Only to pay took a lot of time. Nice view. I wish my bowl had more Salmon. There was probably 30grams... Which is not enough

Big potion, fair price. The slow-cook steak was so good but another one so sticky so i recommend slow cook! Staff some of them not nice and ignore us so we called them 3 times to pay😅 but some staff are nice too , very good view on top you can see the nice view at square market

I will start with extremely friendly entrance guy. That greeted us smiling and witty, even though it was very crowded and we came without reservation. Saying in 11,2 minutes the next table will be free ☺️. Then what we loved was the again, very friendly staff smiling and having always a nice word and gesture to add. Rounded up by a very delicious, big breakfast buffet and a very relaxing environment. 💯 recommended

A cute spot to eat lunch or breakfast close to The Frauenkirche. We enjoyed their coffee, teriyaki salmon bowl and hummus. It has a nice view of the plaza as well. The staff are nice and welcoming even for tourist.

All good. We sat inside as the terrace was full/too busy for us. I had delicious steak and vegetables, both perfectly cooked and good portion, he had Lasagne and was very happy. Good service, despite being inside.

Hotel is charming and breakfast was a great assortment of European and American type meals. Staff was friendly. Our room was great and the bathroom was amazing. Very large by European standards. Definitely a wonderful stay!

The cakes and patties are delicious. They offer seating inside and outside. We loved our visit and highly recommend for a bite to eat.

This place has a great location and tourist-friendly prices. The atmosphere inside is greeting and refreshing, there are also places to seat outside. You can dine in or take out - which is a bit cheaper. The variety of pastries and bread is amazing! There are various sandwiches and clearly labeled vegan products. I absolutely loved the sandwiches with grilled vegetables and traditional meatloaf. The strawberry smoothie was delicious!

bakery was fine but the things we ordered werent particularly fresh. Maybe its the size of the bakery or the fact we came in the afternoon but nothing was very impressive. The hot chocolate was also way too hot. Go here only if you don't have other options.

German Cakes and Torten! They look and taste sooo good. A lot to choose, definitely you can’t have them all. They are not very sweet and you can have it with cream or none. Their coffee is very good too, perfect pair!

A wonderful pastry shop in Nuremberg with a wide variety of cakes, chocolates, and fine sweets. The taste is excellent, and the quality is evident in every bite – especially the decorated cakes and macarons, which are simply amazing. We just finished our Viking excursion & went in for a warm drink on a chilly mid November morning. The cappuccinos fit the bill & tasted great. We split something - my wife ordered it & can't remember what it was as I'm writing this. There's a large selection & everything looked tasty. Our slice of pie (for lack of a better word) was large, light, & had a subtle sweetness that made it so good. It wasn't "American" sweet. If you're close by, it's the perfect spot for German confectionery

Food seemed good..... Never encountered a ruder person than the woman serving here. What an advertisement for this place, my goodness. Foreigners visiting Neurenberg beware and choose elsewhere. Really woman, being friendly doesn't cost you anything and will make your life so much better.

What I liked most about their big breakfast menu was a sweet, sour marmalade and a very freshly backed bread with raisins called Hefezopf, which I had to take with me, because I was already full - they don’t serve all items together and it was the last item. The only surprise to me was that the menu doesn’t include a drink, so you have to pay for your drink separately.

Service was very quick and amazingly friendly. The selection of desserts and cakes is varied. Portions are big!!! Tried the apple strudel with vanilla sauce. So so tasty. Just delicious. Prices are also reasonable.

Here you can find a selection of tasty tarts,cakes and pralines. The coffee wasn't very good. The waiter was English speaking, but because of the busy Christmas holidays period, we had to wait until the table was available.

Edit: Man's toilet code is not the one on the ticket, I asked the code to the staff, and none of the codes were working, I eventually got tired of going up and down testing every code... Service is just meh, not enough workers and lots of people, you can see the stress in their faces, and TOO COLD. People keep opening the door and some even stay in between, so, no wonder why it's cold inside. The fact that it's too crowded makes the experience bad even though food was good. This is a problem I found in several coffees in downtown. This didn't change my overall review, since it's not their fault.

The staff is super nice, and the vibe is great. Coffee and breakfast taste somewhat good, but a bit expensive and the portions are quite small for the price.(although they give you lots of bread along with the food) We got scrambled eggs with ham but everything was super oily. Just a heads up, breakfast mainly has bacon and ham; no veggie or vegan choices. Still, a nice place overall!

The place we visited for a midday coffee is lively and has a high circulation. I think it would be better if they were a little more friendly. The bread we asked if it was marzipan and they said yes, turned out to be cinnamon-apple :) But their cappuccinos are great..

It's an ok bakery for a snack or coffee, but I have to take a point off because of one annoying thing: having to ask for a key for a toilet at the counter is incredibly annoying, and about the hygiene it's better not to think about. My salami sandwich I ate was good, but when ordering it at the Donald's style screen it would be nice to have info that the salami is really spicy, borderline hot. Still, nice decor, plenty of seating places and good location.

We ordered breakfast for not a cheap price and although they offer decent bread at the counter they gave us cheap microwave bread rolls which you can buy at Aldi or Lidl for 2€. Ridiculous then when we asked for frag bread they said it was fresh and refused to give us better bread they continued arguing with us as if we were some kind of Problem and not their customers when we asked why we couldn’t get the bread they sell at the counts they said “because that’s fresh bread” so obviously they were lying to us the whole time appalling service what happens to customer is king?

Unfortunately this visit was not very pleasant, I got 1 tomato bruschetta( tomatoes tasted like pickled as they were not fresh), 1 roast vegetables bruschetta ( dry on sides rock hard) and we got 2 drinks l, 1 cake and 1 salami sandwich (tasty), Our server this time was very unpleasant and no customer service whatsoever was in his type. €24 euro for these mehhhh bits, can you at least give us a smile and make us feel like you want us there? If you don't want to please get someone else to serve and you go do something else. Plenty of of jobs to do in the store. In the pro side there was a tremendous choice of food and cake to help your palet.

We've wanted to get here for a long time, but somehow we couldn't. The reason was that it was always crowded. But last weekend we somehow managed to get in. We ordered a second and third course and coffee. First they brought us coffee and dessert, and then 20 minutes later the second and third course. Guys, there's nothing supernatural about this, just serve in order: first salad, then the first course, then the second course, and then dessert. I advise the day manager to just work with the staff. Guys, if you want to get good coffee, then you just need to take it from someone who has already received a good rating, here on the site. I trust these ratings. You have a good machine, I specifically looked. Which means the coffee should be good. I deliberately leave a bad rating so that the manager will notice. By the way, the service staff has nothing to do with it, the staff tried. The day manager should just explain how to do this. Overall, a solid four and I will definitely give this rating in 2 weeks. A bad rating now is just to get the establishment's management to pay attention to it.

Amazing atmosphere, one of the most beautiful places (for me the best) I always visit it when I’m in town. Everything is highly recommended, I love the soups and the amazing desserts.

It was very packed and busy but the waitresses remained very friendly and helpful! Our lil one was super grateful to get the last piece of cheese cake that he was praying for! Our cakes and drinks were all very yummy! And it's sooo beautiful in here! Always trying to come whenever we are here in Rothenburg, but you don't always get lucky! 😉

Super cute and dainty place!!! They had a handful of vegan/vegetarian options which we really appreciated! We got the bread with 2 types or vegan spreads (both spreads were absolutely delicious), a vegan choco chip cookie, and a vegetarian onion cake! Everything we ordered (including the coffee) was really good! Waiting staff were really friendly and attentive too!! Would definitely go back to this cafe when we visit Rothenburg again ☺️👍🏻👍🏻

A nice place to have a break from sightseeing friendly staff, and swift service. There are plenty tables both inside and outside... however most were occupied with people "working" on their laptops. Well, i guess this means the wifi is good too.

This Starbucks has a fantastic location right in the heart of the tourist area. After walking around the city, I chose to stop here for a drink and a break — and I could even charge my phone while relaxing. It’s a great spot to rest or do some work in a laid-back atmosphere. Another thing I really liked: the staff here are super friendly and welcoming.

This branch of starbucks is big with good number of seatings. The place is located in the heart of the Altstadt of Nürnberg called Hauptmarkt, 3 mins walk from Lorenzkirche Ubahn station. The only big negativ thing is the lack of airconditioning in this cafe. Especially during summer season,it can become unbearable to sit inside given no cross Ventilation. The coffee served is Standard starbucks stuff. I would recommend to drink Creme brule frappicino with Chochlate cake .

This 2-story Starbucks is located in the ❤️ of Nürnberg with a view of the river! Baristas are very friendly and helpful.😊 I would definitely highly recommend this place 🌟 just wishing (as a barista from the US) it had remained a corporate and not transitioned to a licensed store.

Yeah I went here. On vacation. Needed some familiar coffee and this was exactly what i needed. Right next to a cool canal or river. Great outdoor seating. Not sure what else to say about this Starbucks that you wouldn’t already know if you have ever been to another Starbucks.

So disappointed - worst food I have ever had at a Starbucks anywhere in the world. My husband wanted the impossible sandwich which they didn't carry and I wasn't necessarily surprised since we weren't in the states. They were out of their feature drink so I defaulted to the shaken brown sugar oatmilk which was fine although much too much ice but the worst was the banana bread - it was so hard it most have been a week old. Why they didn't select one of the other 5 pieces in the case I can't explain. I took two bites and threw the rest away. Quality contol here is sorely lacking. I won't be back.

This is a fun, casual eatery on Wespennest that serves quite a few vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They have a Bohemian and atmospheric interior seating with quite a few tables. Vibes are really good, making this a neat spot for families, small groups and couples. We ate here a couple times during a recent visit to Nuremburg, taking advantage of their healthy dishes. Enjoyed their hummus starter, MamaZeiti salad and their tarte flambee, particularly their Mediterranean variety. Portions are large, prices reasonable for what is charged, service friendly, helpful with orders and timely. Would gladly return next time in Nuremburg.

Simply incredible, the MUST go place in Nürnberg. The have a great choice of dishes to choose from, vegetarian, vegan also. From breakfast, brunch or whatever you might want, here you can find it. Furthermore, they have discount for students (the prices are nonetheless reasonable). The service is friendly and fast.

Best Brunch in the city hands down. You will be wowed by the selection. Try the Rubarb juice. Yummy. It is a cool hip and trendy place you can take the family. Bathrooms are both restaurants...ladies you will need this in for on sunday as it is packed. Make a reservation to get your seat at the table.

I visited here lately. I really liked the location of the restaurant. They don’t have many things on the menu, rather than the good variety of flammkuchen (flatbread) . I like the view outside of the restaurant! And the inside of it is also nice. Waitresses are nice and friendly. The prices are a little bit too expensive for the portions offered in this restaurant. (That’s one of the bings I would change). They also offer 20% student discount! So keep your student ID with you if you’re planning to go there! And show it before you place your order. I would go again! But with my student ID. They also have happy hour, I think it starts at 5pm until 7pm.

Great food! Good prices and super friendly service. We had spaghetti bolognese, lasagne, happy bowl and jacked potatoas with sour cream and mushrooms. It was just perfectly done! A bit noisy along the road but perfect of you stay at the hotel next door. The terrace is really nice and the staf is very helpful. We’ll be back!

This is a chain restaurant. It’s all over Nuremberg. From just a small kiosk to a cafe bakery like this one. This one has a drive thru and some hot foods and a nice outdoor patio. I ordered the weisswurst. It was sub par. The pretzel is good but not great. What’s nice is you can get pretzel sandwiches. Prices are reasonable. I had the weisswurst, pretzel, green tea and lebkuchen for 10.50 Euros. You do have to buss your own table.

Best Brezen , when made fresh! Unfortunately Brezen are almost always chewy since they are pre made and sit in the fridge for a while (which is totally understandable, unfortunately)

They have the worst breze ever! They have one job to do, make a soft, fresh breze! Very disappointed. I have been there already three times and every time the breze was hard and not eatable. Will never go there again!

The hummus pretzel was really good! An amazing option for vegans like me 💕. The coffee had nothing special, also more bad than a good taste. Also, the opening hours was different than the maps page.

Had an amazing wholesome breakfast at Lebenslust. Food: We ordered a) Resi's spinach stulle - whole grain slices with hummus, feta, chutney, spinach, fried cherry tomatoes and eggs complimented each other so well. b) Stramme Resi - Bacon, whole grain slices, sliced red onions, fried cherry tomatoes, cream cheese were delectable c) waffles - my daughter enjoyed her waffles d) Coffee and hot chocolate were good too. A small quaint local breakfast cafe that also serves great cakes 🎂 and wines as well. We had our breakfast here and it was excellent 👌. If you're looking for a quiet place to chill and have a small snack or wine this is the place. Friendly staff and quality food and beautiful location. What else do you need.

Service is decent, but at times a little slow 6.5/10. Food is 7.5/10. Facilities are mostly clean and sanitary. Overall it's a good place to grab a bite to eat, watch the foot traffic, trains passing by, and the intersection isn't too loud. They serve a 🍉 watermelon & cucumber beverage that is awesome.

Really enjoyed the breakfast at Alex Fürth. There were a variety of items to choose from, for the buffet which has an unbelievable price point of 9.90€ on weekdays. The ambience is perfect for a family or couples. They have good hygiene protocols in place to protect against covid. Make sure to reserve in advance or walk in early before 9am to get a table.

First of all, it's quite expensive. A cocktail for at least 8 € may be seen as normal, but if it's almost only ice cubes, that's too much. Next it's dirty. We got there around 10 p.m. on a Saturday, not many customers inside (almost more outside). The floor was dirty, paper napkins and beer coasters lying on the ground, staff didn't care to clean it up. And we saw a mouse running around inside that knew exactly where to go and when. You can draw some conclusions from that. The seats and small tables are not actually comfortable, however, at least the music (house or something) was not too loud, so we could talk without having to shout. Staff was friendly though, no complaints about that.

Nice place in the town's center. Great place for breakfast as much as I could've see. Because of Corona best is to make reservations and when you come you will be escorted to your table. Pleasant staff and you even get complementary drink with your breakfast. Toilets are a bit hard to get by as they are on the first floor up the stairs while the restaurant is on ground floor. Didn't see any elevator to go up, for people in wheelchair. Would gladly eat there again especially breakfast with someone dear.

The dark chocolate Schneeballen I had is good. Not too sweet. It is made by cutting shortcrust pastry (Mürbeteig) into strips, weaving them into a ball, then deep-frying until golden brown and dusting with powdered sugar. It is crispy on the outside and crumbly on the inside, resembling a snowball—hence the name. This dessert is over 300 years old.

Very nice place that sells delicious bread and pastries. There is upstairs seating. You order your drinks and food in the shop downstairs. The food is then put in a small elevator and transported to the firts floor where the drinks are added and served. You can only pay with cash at this place.

After wandering around this tiny slice of storybook heaven, its time for the 🇩🇪 tradition of Kaffee und Kuchen (Married to a German, it is all about the beloved Kaffee und Kuchen🤣)My man had been unbelievably patient accompanying me to the morbid Medieval Criminal Museum for hours and with 4 tiers of exhibitions, its time to reward him with a little pick-me-up or else risk a meltdown!😂. You can't come to this quaint town and not have a Schneeballen, I did not get the traditional one that is usually beautifully dusted with sugar but the Nougat Creme caught my eye, I am naturally drawn to anything that looks chocolatey and rich, it is in my DNA. It was splendid and the generous square of Sauerkirsch Streuselkuchen deserves and honourable mention too. Order downstairs, enjoy them upstairs. Cash only. Service: We were warmly greeted and served.

Food was okay but nothing special. Cash only! No milk alternatives. We ordered half a litre of water, which was served in ONE glas, that's usually used at village festivals. Overall, the place is stuck in a past and not in a good way.

I ordered an original Schneeball and that is good combined with a drink, because the taste of the original wasn't moist like a cake, for example. Schneeball was fresh, delicious and crispy. However, due to insufficient table assistance, I gave up waiting to do another order (long wait even to pay!). Staff wasn't friendly and looked a little bit annoyed. Good price. Next time I am gonna buy to take away.

The bakery selection is good. The service is poor. I have been using this bakery for over 8 years and no matter what the staff has a shitty attitude and seemed always annoyed at the customers.

Well it used to be the best years ago but it’s not the best anymore. Overpriced and the quality isn’t good. It’s all mass produced and nothing tastes homemade. The queue was exceptionally long but that was to be expected since I visited on Mother's Day. Nonetheless, the queue moved quite fast and the lady serving me was very friendly despite the obvious rush. The selection of foods was a wide variety for a Sunday.

One of my favorite places to go have breakfast. There is a variety of food to order and specifically the bread types. The service is great and fast, there is plenty of space to sit inside and outside. There is also a small playground for kids outside.

Very family friendly place with an outdoor playground and a miniature indoor bakery for kids of all ages to hang so adults can indulge on and appreciate some very high quality dough. They also have an English menu readily available.

Coffee was good. You can choose from few types of beans. There are not many places inside, some tables outside. Water and toilet are here. All was ok, but not more. That's why I don't have a reason to come back again...

We had breakfast at here on both mornings of our stay in Nuremberg, and it quickly became a nice highlight. The coffee was excellent; smooth, rich, and clearly roasted with care. Pastries and cakes were equally impressive, from a perfectly spiced cinnamon knot to a fresh berry tart that was as beautiful as it was delicious. The space itself feels warm and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to linger a little longer. Consistently wonderful both visits, it’s the kind of café that makes you look forward to the start of the day.

Card payment only. I'm not a huge coffee drinker I just started my journey. I enjoyed the Cafe Latte very much it was perfect for someone like me who enjoys the complex flavours of Coffee but is not much a fan of the bitterness. They got different kinds of milk (I chose Oat) and even pastries and cake. I tried the poppyseed-Curd-Turnover. It was delicious. Cross on the outside and soft and flavourful on the inside. The service was also very nice. You can get takeaway but only in Reusable Cups which cost 1€. You can return them everywhere to get your money back BUT in this store since they only take card payment.

Cozy Café with awesome coffee. Vegan drinks are the same price as dairy ones and you feel welcome in the very open and beautifully furnished room. Plus, my favourite band was playing.

Facing the Schlayerturm (medieval tower) and right along the famous Weißgerbergasse, this was the perfect stop for breakfast or a coffee break. The coffee was great, cakes too (especially the cheesecake). The staff were friendly. Enjoyed our time here even if it was just for half an hour.

Location is perfect literally right in the middle of the Altstadt and we got the smallest room but it was still really cozy and nice. The breakfast was really good and the old man working at the front desk always greeted us with a smile.

All I can say is ‘wow’! Once in a lifetime trip to Germany. We are traveling the ‘Romantic Highway’ so are staying in a different hotel every night. Hubby wanted one to be historic in nature, and Hotel Gotisches Haus did not disappoint! I only wish we were able to stay a few more days! It is convenient to everything! The room is beautiful, with touches of old and new! The family the runs it has a great thing going here, the attention to detail is amazing. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay here again!!

This is a review for the cafe. We loved this place! Amazingly peaceful yet scenic spot to grab a bite Mittag. The servers were all super friendly, they have regular and decaf coffee, Apfelstrudel, reasonably priced pretzels, and they have the best helles beer in the world (Augustiner). Worth a stop for sure!!

I ordered the Flammkuchen and Margherita pizza, but they tasted terrible. They didn’t seem homemade more like reheated food. I expected better from such an old, established hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the food.

If you visit Feuchtwangen you shouldn't leave without taste one of 3 best patisserie maker in the world - you will feel the different and allways come back here! Nevertheless take something with you to bring back home.

Wonderful Guesthouse, we have known the lady owner (Christa) and her family forever, very nice people. Excellent regional food with asparagus specialities, Angus steak from the regional farms and a good choice of drinks, inlcuding diverse distilled alcohol made within the house Brennerei. A place you will visit again for sure.

Feel free to ask, a very open person and knows a lot about coffee. I have been buying coffee from him for several years and have never been disappointed.

Loved this little roastery just a little away from the centre of town. We had a chemex for 2 (Ethiopia Sidamo bean) and the owners were very friendly and welcoming! Small seating area indoor and outdoors (a lovely garden area) They roast their own beans and if you like their coffee, you can purchase freshly roasted beans from them!

One of a few good coffee places we found in small towns. They roast their own coffee too and you can buy beans. There is not much seating space but if you get a seat in the inner garden area, you will enjoy the coffee and chill time there.

Very friendly staff and helpful too. I am gluten intolerant and always struggle to find breakfast without only bread options, especially in Germany where there is bakery on every corner it can be a difficult mission. I was immediately suggested what I could order from the menu that is guten free. They put the guest in the centre and that's a rare thing to find in Germany! The food looks pretty, but the taste and quality is terrible. We had the banana bread French toast. The bread was cold and soggy all the way through as of it was soaked in water . More attention was given to the appearance of the food than how the food was prepared. The fruit on the toast also looked good, but was under ripe. The eggs and avocado toast had one egg that was overcooked and another that was cooked properly, but was smeared with entirely too much bean paste (?) something that appeared the be meat but was some sort of bean. It did not add to the appearance or the taste of the plate. The owner must of realized we were not happy because he asked the people next to us how their meal was but did not ask us how ours was. Those people cleaned their plates we did not. The coffee was unremarkable. The kids did enjoy the smoothies. All together I would not recommend eating here for breakfast.

We were looking for a place to eat and chose it due to the good reviews. It was a pleasant surprise to find out the owners are Greek. It absolutely explains the elevated dishes as the food culture back home is excellent. This place has nothing to do with the "greek restaurants" you find all over Germany and their miserable menu and food quality. The chef is obviously a talented and creative person with good ideas, a representative of the newer generation who create food with passion, craftsmanship, and an open mind. The place totally stands out from any other average restaurant. Order a burger, and savour the hand cut, fresh fries. They're a rare sight in Germany.

Great place with a lovely atmosphere! The owner and chef clearly know what they’re doing. The burger was delicious, with a perfectly cooked beef patty full of flavor. The salad was fresh, made with high-quality ingredients and amazing oil. We also ordered matcha and smoothies — the matcha was good, and the smoothie was amazing. Very cosy cafe with very warm service! Food and drinks taste as good as they look. We had the “today’s special” which was a Mediterranean take on polenta and it was delicious. The French toast banana bread topped with seasonal fruits was also very good! We enjoyed our lunch very much!

I ordered cherry jam and I received it mixed with strawberry jam, because probably they have used same spoon. You should teach employees to be careful because people might have allergies. There hasn't been a way to communicate with them because employees don't speak English. Also screens to order food could be programmed to have English option. The food that I could eat was good.

Today I was at the bakery and two old age women (one habe blonde hair and one having darker shade of blonde hair) at the counter were so sarcastically insulting me just for taking some time to choose what I want. As a vegetarian and as a new customer its obvious that I will take time in deciding what I want. I dont know what product they have with or without alcohol or pig gelatine. And when I ask them they are so rude in answering. When the service is so pathetic then what so ever they have to offer becomes automatically pathetic. Extremely uneducated and ill mannered

I had a pleasant experience with their quick service and a nice breakfast menu. It also depends on when you arrive there and if it is not on weekends. I found the place neat and clean with ample seating places, along with outdoor seating options.

Extremely disappointing customer service. I was double-charged for my order, and when I requested a correction, the staff canceled my order without issuing a refund. It's shocking that a coffee shop can operate like this—perhaps Germany's regulations allow such practices, but it certainly feels unfair and unprofessional

While it’s understandable that junior staff members are still learning, it’s concerning to see senior team members mock their efforts instead of offering guidance. When the junior staff asked for support, they were visibly dismissed with pride rather than encouraged. Worse still, when another customer requested assistance, one of the staff—particularly a young woman—responded with unnecessary defensiveness and an argumentative attitude. She seemed to have a retort for every comment, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, even one poorly managed employee can negatively impact the overall experience. A place with such potential deserves a team that reflects its quality. I’m hesitant to return.

Large choice and easy to get to. A little crowded and backed goods are upper quality and taste but not unique or outstanding

We had made a reservation and the service lady was so kind to offer us a different table as we did not like the initially assigned table close to the washrooms. Speaking of "close": the location is not too big, so some of the tables are rather close to the washrooms or even next to the entrance door - which may be pretry challenging for clients seated there on frosty winter days. The service lady first took our order of drinks, and when she served them took our order of food which was served very fast, too. The flat whites were brought each on a funny wooden mini tray, the foam was artistically decorated with latte art. The plates were arranged very colourful and nice, and the food tasted great. One remark regarding the background music: in my opinion the music should be lowered a bit. The washrooms are pretty hygienic.

When arriving at Auckland Coffee for breakfast, the friendly host informed us that there were no tables available inside at that moment. We asked to wait outside with a coffee for a moment, till we could move inside. As it was cold outside, the host brought several blankets for us to keep us warm. Great service! Inside we enjoyed a great breakfast, healthy and delicious! The waffle with fresh fruits is recommended! All in all a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast in Nüremberg!

Pretty place with kind staff and even tho the coffee was good, the food was awful. overripe avocado covered in mold, one cold overcooked egg for extra 2€, hard rice with musty sauce and big cold chunk of tofu that was impossible to chew, big disappointment

We really enjoyed our brunch in Auckland Coffee and highly recommend this place. The coffee was extraordinary and truly tasty , the atmosphere very cozy and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had the avocado on bread with salmon , the banana bread with peanut butter, coconut yogurt and fruits and a smoothie ball. All the three of them were above expectation.

The food was average, but the tableware needs to be replaced. I wonder how much of a plate has to break off before they stop serving food on it - that was lowkey gross

Truly, I had the best service here of all time. 🤯💜 Our waiter, Filipe, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and caring—exactly how service should be. I have an allergy and always feel a bit bothersome asking about menu ingredients, but he was fantastic. He answered all my questions and checked with the kitchen without hesitation. We were there for dinner, and the food was also great. They have a wonderful selection of bowls and salads, making it hard to choose. In the end, we opted for a proper "brotzeit" with avocado toast and black hummus toast, topped with an extra egg. This place has become one of my favourites. Next time, I will definitely come back for brunch.😊✨️

The bakery was fully renovated last year, and it looks beautiful. There’s also a large parking area and a very nice terrace with plenty of seating.

Located somewhat away from the center of the city, this cafe was not overcrowded, making it a great place to hang out.The cappuccino was a creamy delight that tickled my taste buds with its flavor. Bagel was crunchy on outside and had fresh cheese and veggies . The hazelnut brownie was scrumptious and was gooey on the inside .The cheesecake was the perfect balance of creamy and fresh. With quick service and plenty of seating inside and out, the vibes were so good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Check it out, you won't regret it!

One of my favorite Cafes in the city. This particular branch has a lot of outside space and parking. So my kid has enough space to run around in summer. My absolute favorites - White Chocolate Mocha and Granola Bowl. Delicious and fulfilling.

The room was beautiful and clean, and it fulfilled my request. House keeping did a great job. There was no air conditioning, but the fan was sufficient at night with the cooler temperature. I’ll definitely be back if the receptionist’s customer service improves. The only negative was the rude receptionist woman with glasses. I politely asked her one question, and she immediately gave me a side-eye. Welcoming guests politely is part of her job, not showing attitude. That’s not how you do business. And since it’s not her hotel, she probably doesn’t care whether guests return or not. I had planned to have a drink or meal at the hotel, but because of the receptionist’s rude attitude, I didn’t bother. One bad staff member can really impact your business.

Amazing hotel all around. The rooms are fantastic,...request floor 3 for the views. Best location right in the middle of everything. We walke out the door and were in the center of it all. Great place to sit an have wine or beer and snacks. The restaurant is lovely with great service!

It's a stunning hotel, decorated in an historical style that feels very authentic to the town itself. The room we stayed in was very spacious with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Staff at reception were helpful and the parking was a bonus. The breakfast was an additional charge (it stated it was included on booking.com at time of booking) and it was a disaster. Most of the hot food was empty for the duration of breakfast so we didn't get any. We basically paid €20 each for a saucer (yes a saucer because they didn't put bowls out) of musli and a croissant. Would definitely recommend getting breakfast elsewhere. We did raise this with reception who gave us a small box of chocolates. Also there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room but reception were able to give us a flask of water. Would stay again for location and beautiful surroundings.

This hotel is in the perfect location and central to everything you would see and do during your stay. The rooms were spacious with enough space for all our luggage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel does include parking however you do need to contact the hotel in advance to reserve a spot since they have limited space. We were not informed of this and ended up having to park about 10-15 min walk away in a public lot and had to pay. It wasn't too expensive though. The bathroom was the only downfall as there was no counter space in the sink area for your makeup or toiletries. The shower was not a shower but a bathtub with a shower handle. There was a foldable wall to help keep the water in however it wasn't great and we ended up flooding the entire bathroom floor and had to go to the front desk to ask for more towels to clean it up. The water pressure was great though. I would recommend this hotel again though since you cannot beat the location.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. Overall not good value for money. The location is perfect, but given how small the town is, I suspect that’s the case for most hotels. Parking may be a challenge if you don’t contact the hotel early, we had no issues. The service was mixed, some helpful staff and others not very attentive at all. Housekeeping was poor even putting aside the cleaning every two days. Most importantly. Photos of the rooms are very misleading. We ended up in an old and run down annex in the building opposite the main hotel. The walls were paper thin and bathrooms outdated. The heating was also permanently on high, which became quite uncomfortable. Suspect if you have a lovely renovated room, it’s a great experience!

Hotel Eisenhut has a fantastic location right in the center of town. I will say that the configuration of the rooms is a bit different due to the fact that it was 4 large homes made into a hotel, but we loved the history of it. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and comfortable and as I said, exceptional location. Highly recommend

This hotel was a beautiful historic place to stay during our visit to Rothenburg. The staff were very kind and spoke a few languages, which helped me. I speak English and some German. The hotel is located right off the town square, which is where we attended the Night Watchman tour. We didn't eat meals at this hotel, because we wanted to explore and dine around town. The building itself is old and felt old - but in a good way, a nostalgic way. It felt like a maze finding our room, which whisked us even more into that medieval mindset. I would stay here again. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was that my room had no standing shower. That was a new experience for me!

They serve most breakfast dishes, eggs any style, avocado toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, etc. They also have an extensive coffee and drink menu and unsurprisingly beer. Which was popular as I looked around the cafe at 10 am. 😂🍻. I ordered a strawberry milkshake for the big kid I am, and it was refreshing. The breakfast was served quickly. Although the menu is entirely in German, the servers I spoke to all spoke excellent English. My meal also came with bread and a pretzel. The prices were very reasonable for the large portions of food. The cafe has plenty of seating for small and large groups. I can see it being a good location for groups to meet and chat. They had free parking out front. It's also a bakery with an impressive variety of cakes. Brunch is served till 12.

I would recommend making a reservation before hand, as it seems it's a quite popular place in Neuendettelsau. I took off a star because the table was a bit small for 4 people, we had to reorganize our plates a bit.

Great breakfast in quite calm place, of course with rush hours as well, but even though the weather was very moody, with a bit of sun we stayed sitting outside and enjoyed the last days of autumn breakfasting under the sky. The portions could be a wee bigger, but over all a nice meals and coffee.

Good coffee, lovely little cafe with a good outdoor area. The food was delicious and exactly what it said it was on the menu. Prices are completely fine and reasonable. I really do not understand what some people are complaining about when it comes to portions and cost. As can be seen from my photos, our breakfast was a great size, with each pancake being about as large as a beer coaster (or maybe slightly larger) and was 9€. I personally think this is a great price. Bread basket was very generous with 6 slices (total) of 3 different breads, and this was just for one person. I really think some people need to check their expectations. This is a perfectly fine little cafe with friendly staff, good service and good food. Absolutely worth a visit.

Standard cafe, my main feedback is that portions are tiny - whether you get a smoothie, eggs, pancakes, or platter. Taste was fine, but leaves something to be desired. Don’t come too hungry!

The food was amazing, we had the tiramisu toast and the eggs Florentine and they were both great. Really nice selection of warm and cold drinks. The guy who served us was really nice and friendly to us and our dog. It was busy, even on a Tuesday morning, so booking recommended.

The food was indeed delicious. The staff was helpful. The place was super duper small and pretty inconvenient. The price charged for that place(ambience) and food portion doesn't match up at all, doesn't make sense at all!! I recommend team to either adapt their prices or increase the portions. We had to eat again right after sometime, after having food in the cafe. All in all- can go once if you have too much money and don't know how to spend it.

I had been to the other Sunday and had a beautiful experience so I was expecting the same. The place was shabby and I don't know if it was old and dirty (stains that couldn't be removed) or it was actually dirty. We arrived first thing in the morning but the kitchen was messy. I ordered avocado toast but the toast was not toasted, and it had too much of the seasoning. I ordered an Americano that tasted bad. We ordered milk but we got Kaffeesahne. The service was not bad, the ladies were nice but the service at the other Sunday was way better. I think that is why my expectations were higher.

One of best brunch places I’ve been to. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy and staff is nice and helpful. The food was delicious, especially shakshouka. The portions are a little bit small but really tasty. The drinks were also great and you can see they put effort to everything they prepare.

Good place to go for breakfast! Interior is cozy and the staff is friendly. Food is untraditional and creative. There are some vegetarian restaurants which make me think: why do we need meat in our daily food? Sundays is absolutely one of them. They really make best use of the ingredients and make the experience here enjoyable. Reservation is highly recommended.

Great bakery for a rest stop if your on a road trip. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a very friendly staff. They offer iced coffee drinks and lemonade as well as fresh tea. They have oat milk so I ordered an iced mocha. They serve traditional cake but there weren’t vegan options. For vegans there is Brezel (pretzels) or traditional bread or rolls, which I ordered and was good. They also have super clean restrooms.

Service has changed to the better. Been back there twice now and they've all been way nicer and actually gave us water when we asked for it. They've got some new stuff and they're all very nice. Goods are amazing, we loved and enjoyed our time here.

The bread is excellent. Always try to visit when on way back to England. Makes the Monday morning bearable to eat a reminder of Germany. Also being open on Sunday really helpful.

If you are an infidel, and looking for a soft drink/Coca-Cola this is the place. The pretzels are amazing… Get a salted pretzel… Has butter laced through the middle of it. Pick up some strawberries at the market and sit down in the benches outside. German bookstore across the street.

Delicious bread and baked goods! It’s plenty fresh, with a large variety of options, something for everyone. The pretzels are delicious as well as the apple strudels and poppyseed danish. Donuts are standard but tasty. The vanilla pudding pastry is the only one I’d pass on again. The sandwiches look great but I haven’t tried them yet. They also have new or rotational pastries to change it up every now and again, beyond the staples that stay the same. During COVID they are only allowing a few people in store at a time but the line moves quickly! Usually only a few people lined up outside at a time.
