Sunny Side Up Westend is a restaurant located near the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, founded by Dennis Burkhardt and Ana Maria Myers del Alamo. The menu offers a diverse range of international vegetarian and mostly vegan breakfast options, from acai bowls to American-style pancakes. One of their healthy choices is the fitness bowl featuring beetroot hummus, avocado, chickpeas, black beans, and cauliflower.
Sunny Side Up is the perfect way to start your day! We were greeted with genuine kindness and seated immediately — no wait at all around 9 AM, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is beautifully laid out, with detailed descriptions and photos of each dish (which I really appreciate). It did make deciding tough though — everything looked amazing! We went with the Açaí Addiction and Mango Pancakes. Both were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and were beautifully presented. Service was excellent — our server was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and would love to try their lunch menu next time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and relaxed breakfast or brunch!

I’ve visited Sunny Side Up Westend twice now, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorite spots in the city. The place has a modern, fresh vibe, and the young team working here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The food is excellent — delicious, well-presented, and with plenty of variety to suit every mood. What I love most is the wide range of healthy options available, making it easy to enjoy something both tasty and good for you. Overall, this restaurant is a gem: stylish atmosphere, fantastic service, and consistently great food. This was my second visit, but definitely not my last. I’ll be coming back again for sure!

Had breakfast at Sunny Side Up — the sourdough toast with eggs and avocado cheese was absolutely delicious. Great taste, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Food and drinks were amazing! The portion sizes were perfect. The staff was kind and attentive. Would absolutely come back again, can't recommend this place enough.

On our first day in Frankfurt, we decided to have breakfast here, and we instantly loved the vibe—the interior is really cool! Everything looked amazing; check out my photos to see both the food and the interior. I loved the carrot cake—it’s a must-try!! My sister ate the acai bowl and really enjoyed it. The matcha strawberry pancakes weren’t really to our taste, we didn’t like them att all but you might like them. Our Earth matcha smoothies were super thick —we didn’t even get ice, so they were really dense… Overall, if you’re looking for a place that’s perfect for an aesthetic story, this spot is totally for you!
Malik A — Google review
Delicious brunch spot. Have quite a few options to choose from, good portions as well. Might take a bit to wait if you around peak time of 11-12pm~. Took us probably 15mins on Monday afternoon. Service was quick as well staff super nice and friendly. If need wifi just ask the staff. Definitely recommend!
Ernestas V — Google review
Recommended by few on Reddit as one of the top brunch spots. And the queue around noon outside spoke for itself. Service is polite and attentive but not the quickest. Outside seating in this chilly weather has a heater and blankets. Overall, a good spot but the price is driven up by the hype.
Indresh — Google review
We enjoyed our experience at "Sunny Side Up" in Frankfurt Westend a lot. The food was delicious and we appreciated the menu's wide selection including plenty of healthy options. It's a popular spot! Potentially, a reservation may be required if you are coming as a group.

Nestled in the heart of Frankfurt's Neue Altstadt, Schirn Café Bar Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully blends Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. This contemporary eatery, connected to the renowned Schirn art gallery, is a favorite among locals for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The expansive menu features Israeli-inspired dishes with customizable options like shakshuka paired with avocado or merguez. For those with a sweet tooth, their fluffy pancakes are not to be missed.
The cuisine is modern, with quality tableware and stylish presentation. Everything I’ve tried was absolutely delicious! Excellent coffee, specialty level. Delicious desserts. The interior is also great — large windows, high ceilings, and it’s right inside the museum building. Lately, the service has been excellent! (There used to be some issues with it before) The menu was recently updated and added photos of the dishes — thank you, it’s really nice!
Dariya K — Google review
This Cafe has many seats but unfortunately too few staff who can take orders and checkouts. We had to wait and struggled for a long time until we finally got some notice. Food was good, I especially liked the bagel I ordered in addition. It was served warm and had slightly crunchy surface.
Chou S — Google review
This place is very well decorated with details of fresh flowers at every table on beautiful terrace and inside seating. I got the marrakech breakfast which was cold when it got to my table, probably because the service was SLOW and unprofessional (while I was there servers dropped trays of drinks/food twice). The carrot cake was the best part but I paired it with an espresso that lacking in size. You can pay by card but they like many places in Frankfurt don’t have wifi. They are connected to the museum.
Alejandro G — Google review
Came here by chance on a Friday night when other spots were full, and it turned out to be a pleasant find! The restaurant is right next to the metro station, making it very convenient. Spacious, nice outdoor seating, and a chill vibe. Service was pretty slow, but the staff was genuinely friendly, so we didn’t mind too much. Food was good, though not a lot of meat options for dinner—maybe because of the Middle Eastern influence? What we did try was solid: - Lamb chops – Nicely seasoned, but slightly dry. The polenta was smooth and flavorful. - Octopus – Cooked beautifully, tender with a nice hint of lemon that made it even better. Overall, a nice spot for a laid-back dinner, especially if you enjoy Mediterranean/Middle Eastern flavors.
Cherry W — Google review
They are really kind and sweet! Location and atmosphere are also cute. But the drink price is a little higher than how it was, in my opinion. Food was so nice and I loved their selection of cheese on the platter.
Sophie C — Google review
I was here about an hour before opening and the nice proprietress was kind enough to set me up with a free coffee on the house! Too bad they will be closing soon due to renovations, a shame.
Joon C — Google review
Very solid and fresh brunch options with a great outdoor space to enjoy yourself before conquering Frankfurt’s old town and River Main walk. The bagel was fairly priced and was largely portioned, though it will not leave you bloated.
Dominic A — Google review
I second another review: yes, the pancakes with fried chicken taste very nice! Good combination of sweet and savoury. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly service as well. A perfect stopping point after visiting the Schirn gallery.

Café Crumble is a charming Vienna-style café located in the Bockenheim area of Frankfurt, known for its cozy atmosphere and leafy garden. It's a popular spot for breakfast and brunch, offering a delightful morning menu that includes homemade pastries, cheeses, sausages, cereals, muesli, and various breakfast options such as seafood or fitness breakfast. The café also boasts a wide selection of tea and coffee to start your day on a cheerful note.
Nice breakfast, good variety from larger to smaller portions, more meat or veg heavy, sweet or savory. self serve selection of jams. I got a plate with a whole grain bread roll, cheese, fruit, veggies, butter, delicious homemade herbed cream cheese, muesli and added a soft boiled egg, which was a filling but not heavy start to a day of walking the city. Garden seating in the back.
Katy I — Google review
When I arrived at Café Crumble, I was feeling cold and tired, but a young female waitress welcomed me with genuine warmth. She immediately asked if I would like an English menu, which was very thoughtful. Later, a young male waiter served me, and he was also polite and friendly. Both of them spoke excellent English. The chocolate and berry crumble I ordered, together with a large black coffee, was absolutely delicious — it revived me instantly. Although I stayed only for a short while and spent just 9 euros, I paid 10 and told the waiter to keep the change. He looked genuinely surprised and thanked me for the tip, which made me feel a bit embarrassed — I even fumbled in my wallet and added two more small coins, though I had no idea how much they were worth. All in all, I truly want to thank them for their smiles and kindness — those are rarer and even more precious than good service or tasty food.
J Y — Google review
I recently visited Café Crumble and had a fantastic experience. It's the perfect place for a healthy breakfast. The food was delicious and fresh, with a great variety of options to choose from. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to start the day. Highly recommend!
Oleg G — Google review
Fantastic breakfast. Love that they have options for "small" variations of some meals. Less waste, cheaper for the customer, and plenty filling for the typical person. Excellent quality of ingredients and presentation.
Alex B — Google review
Very nice cozy brunch cafe with traditional style decoration. Love their Garten at the backyard especially during summer. The staffs there are very friendly and warm-hearted. You can clearly sense that they love their job and this Cafe very much, which makes you feel home there. Nothing fancy or hipster, but coffee is tasty and food is decent with stable quality. Their homemade crumble and cake are the must try!
Chris Z — Google review
Visited this cafe consecutive times cause of the excellent service I received the first time. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, something I don’t usually encounter here in the city. I loved the crumble and would order it again when I come back. They also allow laptop charging for those who need to do remote work which is a plus for me!! :)
Karen D — Google review
I had english breakfast tea and ate large breakfast for two people. The bread rolls and croissant was not perfect but good enough. I sat outside. The atmosphere was great, but there were too many bees, which was so uncomfortable! 🐝
김예린 — Google review
We had a very lovely and valuable breakfast at the Café! The Service is perfect, a great amount of different food variations. Highly recommend the Cappuccino and the Vital fit Breakfast. The Atmosphere was good but I see some potential for upgrades regarding more warm decoration, especially now for the period of fall and winter. It was busy and can get quite loud but it was overall still a very good experience. Thanks to the friendly stuff!

Baguette Jeanette is a French bakery and bistro located in Bornheim on the upper Berger Strasse, near the U-Bahn station Bornheim Mitte. It offers an authentic French boulangerie experience with a bright and airy interior that exudes a true brasserie atmosphere. The outdoor seating area provides a classic cafe-style setting for guests to relax and enjoy their food.
Great selection of delicious goods. The bread was fantastic, we had coffee, baguette with salmon, escargot pastry and croissants. All absolutely delicious and fresh. Service was also fantastic, friendly and polite. Will definitely be back during our stay in Frankfurt.
Taylor — Google review
I was served by a very kind and friendly staff but the desserts were so disappointing. Pistachio one tasted like imitation flavored. The chocolate mousse was too watery (probably syrup).... I saw it crowded and so popular so I expected something good but no....it was so bad overall. Maybe a place for a meal, but definitely not pâtisserie.
S C — Google review
This order of two quiche and two pain au chocolates took 30 minutes to get to our table. Terrible, terrible service for things that aren’t complicated to prepare or serve. Both items were in the window so should have been super quick to get to us. I could have ordered them immediately if they were to take away but they don’t allow you to order at the counter and take to your table. They prefer you to wait.
Emily H — Google review
Nice French pastry in Frankfurt but pricey. Today we decided to change a bit and go for a French pastry in Frankfurt. We were positively surprised with the good food quality. We had a croque madame, an omelette campagne, fresh jus d’orange, fruit tea, vanilla éclaire and a tarte crumble and berries. Very delicious but all a bit pricey. You can stay outside as well and in a nice sunny day, like today it’s amazing
Ina-Ela — Google review
Delicious french pastries, too bad there wasn't more choices. We ordered a galette, which meet all our expectations (except we could see the fève from outside but well 🤭), it was very good. Very friendly staff, I want to go again !
T.A. M — Google review
I think they use margarine instead of butter.the croissant were not tasty and the greasy taste remains in your mouth
Amanita — Google review
So firstly the pros 👍🏼I love the french pastries and bread. Fresh, beautiful and delicious. Now the negatives 👎🏼 They do not accept cards which in the year 2024 is utterly bizarre. 👎🏼 When dining in, the experience is utterly chaotic. The staff is all over the place. They are making coffee, waiting tables, servicing the customers at the bakery part etc It would be way more sensible to establish specific stations so the staff is more organized and efficient. 👎🏼 This staff situation then leads to an uncomfortable feeling for the customer who doesn’t know who to order from, who will deliver the check, and then the staff looks stressed, so then the customer feels awkward. The staff generally has an air of grumpiness because of the chaos which again is very unpleasant. Overall, they really need to organize things better. It’s a mess and the customer feels this chaos and it then becomes uncomfortable to want to eat there.
Sara — Google review
The éclairs aren’t that tasty, and they only take cash.

Aniis in Frankfurt am Main is a vibrant and popular spot known for its coffee, tea, and light bites. The cafe was established by Rashid El Ofairi, an engineer turned barista who takes pride in serving top-quality coffee sourced from JB in Munich. The cafe's menu features a variety of coffees for espresso and filter, with recommendations like the natural La Perla from Costa Rica.
Really nice cozy place for coffee or lunch. The kurkuma latte and the hummus tasted great. It was nice coming here with a friend but I can also see myself coming back to do some work on my laptop while having a coffee.

Awesome little cafe! Cool space, great atmosphere. Coffee was delicious, they are obviously very passionate about it as well. The meals we had were incredible and we couldn't fault the service. A really great place for brunch.

Went here for a quick breakfast and it was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and good service. Cakes looked like they were standing there for a few days. Next Time service could maybe cut out the end piece that doesn’t look fresh anymore. Otherwise I can recommend this place.

Yummiest breakfast with great environment, I was staying nearby and went there without knowing how cool it would be. Their bread is awesome, they make their own jam and coffee was on of the best I’ve had in Germany.
Suyanna F — Google review
Super tasty coffee! Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get a table for breakfast on a weekend unless you have a reservation. Personally I find this really annoying and also inefficient for them: there are plenty of people coming in the mornings who are constantly rejected because there are tables reserved in 30 minutes time... They should at least change the policy and only allow reservations for some tables but not for all. The place is quite small and a bit dark, so not the best for studying/reading. In any case, coffee is really great!
Miguel T — Google review
I love this place! I am there regularily for coffee or breakfast. They have one if not the best tasting coffee/latte in frankfurt. Good quality, reasonable prices, halal and vegan options. Did I mention the la marzocco espresso machine? 😍

Amazing! Got the weekend brunch and some coffees. Everyone was so friendly, and the vegan options were great! Cant wait to come back! :)

Having visited Yellow Mellow more than 20 times during my years in Frankfurt am Main, I can't help but feel a warm affection for this cozy spot. Run by a lovely lady with Turkish roots, Yellow Mellow always welcomes you with open arms and a friendly smile. Despite changing up its menu over time, Yellow Mellow has never failed to impress me with its consistently delicious offerings. Their cakes, in particular, are not only mouthwatering but also look absolutely irresistible. Of course, like many places, Yellow Mellow has had to adjust its prices over the years, especially with all the challenges brought on by Covid and inflation. But hey, that's just life, right? Looking back on my visits, I find myself really missing the laid-back mornings spent at Yellow Mellow - enjoying a hearty breakfast, chatting with the cheerful staff, and treating myself to those scrumptious cakes. It's a place that holds a special spot in my heart, and I can't wait for the chance to go back again.

After strolling through Bethmann Park, we decided to have tea and this place popped up. Charming and aesthetic café with tables outside and inside. Once you enter you see a tea cart with different types of cakes to choose from besides a counter with further options. Waiters speak English. The only negative point is that it's CASH only and has no WIFI.

Favorite in town. unique vibe and uniquely presented delicious food, very friendly staff. Go for coffee and cake or brunch, any time of the year

Love it so much. I was looking for a cafe to chill but didn’t expect to find a cafe with so many vegan cakes. I had a lemon cake and mochachino. They have alternatives for milk too. Variety of drinks and desserts. You can choose a table outside to enjoy the weather and people watching or sit inside this very cool decorated shop (with 3 rooms). Definitely a come-back place and one more thing to look forward to in Frankfurt The owner was very friendly too. I saw him provided a water bowl for a dog, a pet friendly cafe for dog lovers.
Saranya K — Google review
Pancakes taste really good! However, you have to bring a lot of patience at the weekend, we waited 45min+. Moreover, the portion size ought to be improved, the plate with 8 pancakes and fruit cost 35€(!)
Yukun H — Google review
We were sitting outside but it's also very comfortable and cosy inside. There are not a lot of options but I believe you will find a suitable dish. Options for two were nice (there are three of them). The café has a Turkish spirit (dips, Turkish coffee and tea). It's good, waiters are very friendly

MOMI is a hidden gem located in Frankfurt's Gutleutviertel, offering a local experience away from the touristy areas. The café serves top-notch coffee from Hoppenworth & Ploch and offers delectable vegan cakes to complement your beverage. The minimalistic yet aesthetically pleasing environment allows you to fully savor the food and embrace the present moment.
My go-to for the best French toast in town - it’s absolutely delicious, and I keep coming back for it. On my last visit, I also tried the scrambled eggs with balsamic sunflower seeds on sourdough bread, and it was just as tasty. The cappuccino leans a bit milky for my taste, but I really appreciate that it’s served hot - something many places don’t get right. The cozy, stylish interior adds to the overall experience.

Although i agree with other comments regarding the lacking taste of the coffee, i think their food is really good hence 5 stars. Their french toast is one of the best ive ever tried!

Great coffee, amazing food. The queue might get a bit long, especially during the weekend, so I highly recommend reserving a table beforehand.

Went there with my friends. We all were excited to try their strawberry matcha and were immensely disappointed. It was too watery, barely could taste the strawberry, the matcha wasn’t even mixed properly as you can see in the photo. My friends matcha was even white… and worst of all it cost over 6€. The worst and most expensive matcha i’ve ever had. We were a fan of the pancake and the sandwiches we tried (sucuk & momo club), however the bread was too hard to eat, particularly the corners. Overall a bit too pricy for what it is. The service was also not good. They told us to sit down and that they would take our order and we waited around 30 minutes for someone to even approach us although it was not that busy. Also, the inside was filled with bees which were all over the deserts and the cashier area. They should really do something about that as not everyone might be a fan or bees disturbing them as they eat. A nice location, good vibes but not sure if I would ever go back after this experience.

amazing !!! visiting frankfurt and tried MOMI and it was phenomenal. the staff was so kind, and the pastries were delicious. we got a pistachio latte, matcha latte, and cappuccino as well as the fresh sourdough with whipped butter/cheese and chocolate babka. i loved the cappuccino the most. would come back if my stay in frankfurt were longer!

Health hazards. Don't go if your health is fragile! The barista was very obviously ill with a bad cough, and coughing all over the food and drinks. There is no ventilation system and she was not wearing a mask. I literally saw her covering her mouth with her hand while coughing, to then grab cups to make coffee. No hand washing, no sanitisers, no mask. I went in fancying a ham sandwich but when I saw these were kept on the counter, rather than in a refrigerated space, I desisted. Pretentious, focused on looks, but lacking basic health and safety measures. Extremely slow service. Please hire more staff so that you have a virus you can stay home rather than expose your customers to illness. Or just perhaps wear a mask and gloves? Cherry on the top: below average cappuccino and a good pain au chocolat: 8 euros. This is a pretentious place and does not consider that it exposes people to health hazards.

Wonderful find as a visitor-you always take chances on an eatery when you don’t know a city. The Gorgonzola bacon grilled sandwich was superb. Coffee was great-my only complaint would be the keep-cups are too small! Highly recommended.

Siesmayer is a Viennese-style coffeehouse located in a picturesque part of Frankfurt, offering delightful pastries and a variety of hot and cold drinks. The cafe overlooks the botanical garden and provides indoor seating as well as numerous outdoor tables on the terrace for visitors to enjoy. In addition to its charming ambiance, Siesmayer serves a diverse selection of breakfast, lunch, and early dinner options made from fresh seasonal and regional ingredients.
A pleasant cafe near Palmengarten. We went on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait to be seated for 10 minutes as it was crowded. The food options were great with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was of good quality and tasted great! The people were friendly and helpful!

Having breakfast at the terrace was great. I had a Tasty French Toast and French eggs. It’s a good option if you are planning to go to Palmengarten afterwards.

We got a couple coffees and cake, the staff was nice (in all languages). The coffee is large, the bottom part of the cake was hard, but it was right before closing time. Beautiful terrace, expensive in my opinion. All the best to mr. Jeličić!

We were here early in the afternoon on a Sunday and had a pleasant experience. After a little wait we were seated at a quiet table and had a very nice lunch with soup, Wiener Schnitzel and dessert. Attentive service, nice atmosphere 🙏

The cakes at this cafe is amazing. We didn’t have a reservation on Saturday, but luckily found a place. The cafe offers breakfast as well. Recommend the blueberry cakes!
Seleannia — Google review
One of my favourites in Frankfurt. I have to praise the elegant atmosphere and the professional staff. I have been there for lunch and for Kaffee und Kuchen and was always pleased. The food is delicious and (in my opinion) well worth the price. My recommendations: the special weekly menu, the Mille-Feuille Toskana (only available in the Summertime), and the fresh orange juice. You can pay with card and the staff helps you in English, if you specify this preference. During the sunnier months, it is very pleasant to sit outside. However, seeing as this is a very popular location, I would recommend booking a table in advance and specifying whether you would like to sit outside (even for Kaffee und Kuchen!). Quality is the motto of this house. Ideal for: a date, a special celebration, a classy treat...

Unbelievably rude. I can't even describe the disrespect. 65 cents for a tea cup. Questioning why we want an extra fork? (One dropped on the floor). Food was subpar and you can get much better coffee and pastries elsewhere. And before we receive their rebuttal we speak both German and English and in this case, we ordered in German. There are so many better places in Frankfurt. Please go there.

Walden is a bright and stylish cafe located in the city center of Frankfurt, offering a wide range of breakfast platters with themed options such as Scandinavian, Italian, and Greek. The restaurant has a large terrace where guests can enjoy their meals while taking in the sunshine. The menu features modern and exciting dishes like curried chili chicken and club sandwiches, making it an ideal spot for a delicious lunch before exploring the city.
Quick brunch stop off for 2. Atmosphere was great, slowly got busier as the time passed. There were only 2 waitresses on the day, one was behind the bar and the other pretty much covered the entire floor! Great service from her - was fast & tentative to customers too. Food was good quality and a nice portion size too. Highly recommended!

A fantastic spot with a super chill, alternative vibe. We love coming to Walden for a relaxed coffee meeting or just to start our day. It's a huge plus that they serve coffee from Wacker's, a true Frankfurt institution. The cappuccino was rich with perfect foam, and the latte macchiato was smooth and delicious. If you track caffeine with the Mindful Coffee app, select "single shot" for the small cappuchino, and "double shot" for the large cappuchino!

Of course! Here is the revised review, incorporating your personal experience and details. --- A Wonderful Surprise: An Unforgettable Find in Frankfurt Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Sometimes the best finds are the ones you stumble upon. We wandered past Walden on a busy Frankfurt evening and were drawn in by its warm, inviting atmosphere and the buzz of a contented crowd—a sure sign of a good place. We were lucky; despite being busy, they found us a table, and what followed was a genuinely fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Facing an initially overwhelming menu and a tempting weekly specials board, we were rescued by our waitress, Nergiz. She was phenomenal—patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food. She spent time explaining our options and made suggestions based on what we liked. We decided to put our trust in her, and we are so glad we did. My partner, Pete, went for a beef noodle dish she recommended, while I chose the schnitzel with a rich mushroom sauce. Both were absolutely divine. The schnitzel was golden and crispy, the sauce deeply flavorful, and Pete’s beef noodle dish was a perfect balance of savory and satisfying. I paired my meal with a delicious Sauvignon Blanc, another spot-on recommendation from Nergiz. Stuffed but tempted, we debated dessert. Could we manage it? Nergiz came up trumps once again, suggesting we share the Kaiserschmarrn. Described as a sort of shredded pancake dish, it arrived with fresh berries and crème anglaise—and oh my goodness, it was incredible. The perfect sweet, sharing end to the meal. Beyond the outstanding food and drink, the atmosphere in Walden is worth a special mention. The acoustics are brilliantly managed; you can easily hold a conversation and hear the background music without ever having to raise your voice. It’s a rare and welcome quality. An amazing place, fairly priced for the quality. With its often delicious food and the kind of superb, personable service—exemplified by Nergiz—that makes you feel truly valued, Walden has secured its place as a firm favourite. We can't wait to return.

David C — Google review
I used to love this place since many years and would often stop by for a weekend breakfast. Sadly I have to say goodbye to it now due to the changes in the menu. All bacon and pork ham options that the clients were used to and loved have been replaced with turkey or sucuk. What a disappointment. Didn’t know what to order any more, so just left
Laura V — Google review
I went to this restaurant on my trip here visiting from the States. The customer service was absolutely wonderful! They were even kind enough to provide us with English menus. The food was good as well. The only reason I give them a 4 was because of the pancakes. While the pancakes were good, I think I just like the ones in the States better. On a different note, I thought it was hilarious that they had this vending machine in the ladies room. ☺️

Located near the Alte Brucke in the eastern quarter of the city, The Holy Cross Brewing Society is a trendy industrial-style cafe that offers a unique coffee experience. Opened in 2015 by Mathias Stalter, this ambitious coffee project was inspired by top locations in the international specialty coffee scene. The cafe features a bright, loft-like space with industrial design furniture and serves house blends, single-origin coffees, and pastries.
Best coffee I had in Frankfurt after trying a few of the notable ones. Their coffee roasts were smooth yet bold. Highly recommend as they make their own beans. I ended up taking a bag home and they were kind enough to grind it for me. Great coffee and service even though they were packed on a Saturday.

Nice cafe, comfortable to sit. Usually I try to give all specialty cafes five stars because they serve well-roasted coffee, but the Guatemala Geisha V60 we tried here was very weak and underextracted. I guess other coffees taste better, they overall offer a great variety of coffee beans.

Nice mood with good coffee. No laptop/tablets on weekends or public holidays. The cake was hearty and moyst and the Americano was nice too. Would recommend as it is also reasonably crowded/animated.
LeviosaDream — Google review
Tasty pastries (vegan options!) and tasty coffee. I was with a group of colleagues and we all ordered drinks and snacks, the baristas forgot my pour over which wasn’t a big deal as I used to work in a cafe myself so I get it! I let them know I never got it and they were super nice and apologetic and then gave me a single origin espresso to try and an espresso tonic to go for free. It wasn’t necessary to give me anything but it showed that the employees here will really go the extra step to make sure you’re happy customer even if you haven’t asked for the extra step. All my drinks were delicious and I’ll definitely return the next time we are in Frankfurt.
Trevor — Google review
They have indoor seats and outdoor benches. They accept card payments and they have different brewed coffee types that taste amazing.
Ara R — Google review
I visited Holy Cross Brewing Society for a filter coffee to go and asked for a little milk. Both the barista and the person at the register visibly flinched and said, “We don’t usually do that.” When the coffee was ready, the barista held up a bottle of milk and asked, “Are you sure?” as if adding milk were a transgression. I replied, “It’s not poison—please don’t make me feel bad about my coffee.” He turned without a word and walked away. It’s perfectly acceptable for a café to have a distinct philosophy or offer guidance to customers. What’s not acceptable is condescension. Much of the coffee-producing world enjoys coffee with milk, and hospitality should never be compromised by self-importance.

Cafe Kante, located in Nordend, Frankfurt, has maintained its charm over the 20 years since it was established by a cab driver, technician, and unemployed actor. The cafe fosters a strong sense of community among its clientele and is celebrated for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. While the breakfast offerings are simple yet satisfying with items like bread rolls and sausages, the cafe is praised for its great coffee and tasty pastries.

Nice little German-style breakfast café with simple, well-made dishes (do not expect anything fancy). Service was fast and friendly enough to accommodate any substitutions in our order. The menu on their website is outdated and indicates much lower prices than they actually have. I’ve attached the current menu for reference (as per mid-April 2023).

In addition to their exceptional coffee, Bunca also serves a small selection of gourmet pastries that perfectly complement their beverages. The cafe provides ample seating and has friendly staff, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy some of the best coffee in Frankfurt.
The coffee tastes just like other coffee shops imo (I’m not an expert 😅), but it’s very fairly priced, especially if you consider the location. The place is tiny and it gets very full during rush hour, don’t expect to get a seat here. Unfortunately their lemon cake is way too dry—it was crumbly. The taste of the cake is excellent, but the frosting was too sweet. Maybe we just got unlucky.

I know no other café in Frankfurt, which makes a cappuccino as great as theirs. They always have the nicest staff, the waiting times are always pretty short, even when it’s busy and the music inside the store fits perfectly to the vibe. There isn’t always a free table, but they got plenty of space to sit or stand (when it’s not one of the busiest hours). The red wine cake and the banana cake are both great, sometimes a bit too dry but the taste is awesome! I can only recommend a visit here for a small coffee break!!

Sat outdoors. Not super cozy, considering the construction work going on & quite dull street. The iced latte was great. Rich flavour. Nice espresso base with low acidity and tones of dark chocolate. Café Croquant offers a delightful Parisian atmosphere and a delectable selection of breakfast platters, pastries, sandwiches, and light lunches. The cozy yet chic ambiance adds to the experience. Guests rave about the delicious dark chocolate and the generous oceanique platter that feels like a mini buffet with its variety of tasty breads, croissants, and fresh fruits. The French vibe enhances the overall ambiance.
The food is very well presented and served. The quality of the food is at a very enviable level and everything is very fresh and tasty. The portions are quite large and they justify the price, which is also quite large. The interior of the bar is very cute, and they also have a garden that is surrounded by greenery. All in all a very nice experience and I would love to come back again. All recommendations!

The experience started off fine—the food was good, and we were looking forward to trying more. But I never truly understood the stereotype of Germans being rude until I stepped foot in this place. The service was downright shocking. We only found out they only accept cash after we ordered the bill, even though the cashier at the stand clearly had a POS machine. Apparently, their “location” doesn’t have signal for card payments—conveniently, this wasn’t mentioned earlier. Then, when we wanted to order more pastries, the attitude from the staff was out of this world (and not in a good way). Instead of a warm welcome, we got dismissiveness and an air of annoyance, as if serving customers was a personal inconvenience. All in all, the food was okay, but the terrible service completely ruined the experience. Definitely not a place I’d return to.
Zak — Google review
Came here with a friend for breakfast, and the atmosphere was really pleasant, bright, calm, and not too loud. Service was quick, which was a plus. The food itself wasn’t anything exceptional, but it wasn’t bad either. The breakfast spread included a variety of cheeses, breads, fruits, ham, and a hot drink. Portions were generous, it’s honestly hard to finish everything even after an hour of eating. One nice touch is that you’re allowed to take the leftovers home. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.
Sam H — Google review
I would like to agree with many of the previous posts here - the food quantity may be fine but the staff's attitude and rudeness are unacceptable. I went to pick up my breakfast boxes for a birthday breakfast. The staff had made an honest mistake due to the error prone, email based preordering . Rather than fixing their mistake, they started insulting me and sent me out of their restaurant. Never experienced something like this before. No empathy, no sense of business. Simply aggressive and abusive. I recommend staying away from this place unless you are really desperate.
Daniel S — Google review
Such a cozy, yet chic place to sip and eat. The dark chocolate was delicious and the big oceanique platter was a little buffet! It was amazing. The breads and croissants were soft and tasty just as all the fresh fruit and everything. Also a great food selection on the platter. In the end we could even take some with us with the bags they gave us. :) The French vibe really adds to the ambiance. We loved it and will come back.
Valentina D — Google review
The quality of the food is very good, and the lady who served us was helpful and kind, but the waiting times were truly unacceptable. We arrived at 12:15 PM, two people, for brunch. After fifteen minutes, we still hadn’t received the menus, so I went inside to get them myself because it was impossible to stop the waitresses (there were two of them, but the place was quite full at the time). We managed to place our order around 12:45 — two servings of scrambled eggs with their respective sides. We were served at 2 PM, when the restaurant was almost empty. It's a shame because the quality is very good, but it’s just not acceptable to wait that long.

Looks: this place makes you feel like you are somehow in France. Also it’s situated in a really nice neighborhood. Design of this place is just great. And that’s it with nice stuff. Service : almost not existing, you will stay in line and the people working behind the counter are so slow that you’ll want to go and help them! Also the coffee is super small it’s becoming something usual in Germany lately to pay a lot for a mini cup of coffee! We wanted to have one of those plates we have seen on Instagram but Sunday at 3pm they only sell cake and coffee! I also felt like the waiter was being really unfriendly almost all of them. Coffee was good also the croissant with the blueberry’s was nice but I’m not into sweet’s. All in one it was ok but personally I won’t come back here.

I was in Frankfurt for a day and this was a gem of a cafe. It was vibin’ with young locals and with good reason: Excellent Italian coffee and the pistachio croissant was amazing. I’ll come back here again.

Loved everything! One of the best pistachio-croissant I ever had💚If you will have black coffee, I recommend to ask a normal one. I chose extra aroma and it was too much for me, unfortunately.
Sophie C — Google review
My boy and I struck gold. At least that’s what I told myself that when we walked by this shop on a Friday afternoon. The ambiance inside the shop captivated me, and we saw the pricing for a 10€ Negroni, which sealed our fate to spend the next three hours here. Pastries and coffee are superb - especially the pistachio croissant. Certainly, the price for those are higher than your regular coffee shops, but Gresso ain’t serving your average cup of joe. Drinks were well crafted if that’s your vice, and the whole place was super energetic. Lots of people coming in and out. Give it a try and you shall not be disappointed by this Italian gem!

In the lively Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Gresso Café is a charming blend of Italian flair and urban style. As you step inside, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee greets you, promising an unforgettable experience. Their egg sandwich is a must-try, often hailed as the best in Frankfurt, and their cappuccino is simply perfect. The café’s atmosphere is both relaxed and vibrant, making it an ideal spot for a quick coffee break or a leisurely afternoon. Despite the hustle and bustle, the service is always attentive, making you feel right at home. The filled croissants, especially the pistachio ones, are a delight you can’t miss. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Gresso Café offers a slice of Italian café culture in the heart of Frankfurt. It’s a place where every visit feels like a little trip to Italy.

Flemings Selection Hotel Frankfurt-City is an upscale property located in the heart of Frankfurt. The hotel offers sleek and soundproofed rooms with elegant design and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy city views from the rooftop restaurant, which also provides free WiFi. The prime location of the hotel allows easy access to various attractions such as Zeil shopping street and Opera Square, all within walking distance.
Perfect location and excellent service! My check-in was at 2 PM, but my flight arrived early, I got to the hotel around 10 AM and they kindly offered me an early check-in without any problem. I requested a room on the top floor with views, and they provided exactly that. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast offers a great variety of options. Highly recommended for both short and long stays, everything you need in Frankfurt is close by.

The main attraction of this hotel is their constantly moving elevator. It is a very cool experience to get to ride it. The breakfast is amazing. The bed is comfortable. The shower is fine. The curtains are not actually the blackout curtains, so that is definitely annoying and depending on what side of the hotel you are on, there is a bar that plays music outside that you can hear inside of the room at night. Earplugs are helpful.
Pamela H — Google review
The hotel itself is fine. The restaurant and bar, too expensive for what you get. A meat dish with a glass of wine, water and some roasted potatoes will set you back ~€60. A plain gin tonic at the bar (unknown brand of gin and definitely not premium tonic) is €16. I got the last part of a big bottle of tonic and there was no fizz left at all! Worst gin tonic that was ever served to me.

Staff were friendly. Really nice and fun paternoster lift which they operate in the evening time. Hospitable hotel. Location was perfect. Close to the Hauptwache and zeil. A bit pricey each night for my stay though.
J — Google review
Location is very good having just 10 minutes walking to city center. Rooms are large enough with everything you need for a stay for few days. Breakfast was very good with many options. The only downside was the check-in and check-out moments when are just two offices for these operations and you need to wait for 10-15 minutes.
Marius C — Google review
Our 5 days stay was very comfortable and cosy. The stuff was friendly. We chose our pillows from a rich variety , we had breakfast at the 7th floor. Unfortunately there is no cafe or snack place inside the hotel and therefor you can not stay at the lobby. There was an amount hold at checkin as authorization which is totally unnecessary.
ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΙΑ Α — Google review
At check-out, I needed the invoice for the extra services. They receptionist could not manage to print it out and offered to send it via email. I agreed to that and left. The receptionist never sent anything, nor contacted me further. I called morning, afternoon, evening and night and in different days to the hotel, and they never picked the phone, not one single time. Not the reception, not reservation, not the restaurant, NOBODY. I then sent an email explaining the situation and requesting the invoice. Of course, nobody ever replied to the email nor contacted me back. At the end, I had to contact another Fleming hotel in Frankfurt (Riverside), and they picked the phone at once. They kindly connected me through internal channel and THEN they picked the phone at reception. I explained the situation and the receptionist send the invoice during the call. NOT once an apology, a "sorry, sir", nothing. As a side note, we wanted to just take a look at the terrace of the restaurant to see the views, and a rude restaurant manager refused us and told as "this is not a view point, come in the morning". This hotel really does not know anything about hospitality and how to treat guests. I will for sure not come back and will not recommend to any of my colleagues and friends. The only exception is the kind personnel during breakfast service. The other employees should learn from those kind women.

Nice and cozy cafe in the center of Sachsenhausen. Peanut butter bowl and coffee were really delicious. You can also buy there cakes and coffee for you own coffee machine.

I love the food here, I can see myself come back often if I lived here! The avocado toast is very different from the one in America. It has a strong earthy flavor from the bread and lot of herbal flavors from the paste they put on the bread. The milk in the cappuccino, is different as well, creamy thick milk scent. The only downside is they are very busy, food took a long time to come out, and I had Städel Museum appointment at noon so I had to ask for my food!

Kamps Bäckerei mit Backstube is a wonderful bakery known for its wide variety of delicious baked goods. I have had so many different experiences here honestly but Eden is the only one who just makes me want to visit this bakery again. She is sooo sweet and friendly. Wacker's coffee shop is a small family business that has been around since 1914, now run by the fourth generation. They offer traditional strong and slightly bitter German-style coffee, as well as chocolate. The shop has a quaint seating area and friendly staff. Customers can enjoy hot chocolate and delicious cakes like the banana/caramel tarte.
Located in Frankfurt am Main, I recently visited a cafe that is known as the most historic and oldest of its kind in the city. This establishment takes pride in roasting its own coffee beans, which it then sells directly. I have heard that numerous other cafes in the area choose to purchase and use their beans, suggesting a strong reputation within the local coffee scene. It's clear that they are popular with individual customers too, as there are always a good number of people visiting whenever I have been there. Whilst I wouldn't claim to be a professional barista with a detailed palate, I am someone who enjoys and drinks coffee on a daily basis. From my perspective, the coffee served here tastes notably fresh and is very good indeed. A practical tip for those planning a visit is to consider the timing. If you intend to go during lunchtime, be prepared for the possibility of a rather long queue. It would likely be more advisable to visit outside of peak hours to avoid this wait.

A wonderful spot for coffee and cake in Frankfurt. Lots of options for coffee and kuchen. The coffee was strong and the kuchen not too sweet- just the way we like it. The space is small and busy, with lots of locals. Worth the detour from the typical tourist spots.
Ayman I — Google review
Cute little coffee shop with some seatings indoors and outdoors. The coffee they made at the café was just made of their signature coffee base, which was ok. But this place was really amazing for buying coffee beans. Many kinds (even exclusive kinds) available and they were of really good price compared to many other places (probably as they roast the beans themselves).
Anna J — Google review
A small café with limited indoor seating, most Europeans prefer sitting outside. It’s a historic place with friendly staff, offering coffee beans and assorted chocolates for sale. The coffee has a rich, deeply roasted flavor that leaves a strong impression. In addition to the cakes displayed by the counter, there are also more options on the right side of the counter.
Elsie L — Google review
This place offers one of the best coffee tastes in Frankfurt, with a warm atmosphere, perfect service, and the feeling of being in an authentic old German home filled with woodwork, the aroma of fresh beans, and homemade products.

If you are looking for something traditional and a place where you would find a soul here is the right cafe in Frankfurt. A really good Cafe in the heart of the city. Plenty of space to sit and reasonably priced items. Coffee is (not a standout, but) definitely good. They have a range of options in sandwiches. Tried their Himbeer brownie and absolutely loved it! Nice and convenient option to visit with family and friends.

I really enjoyed the open air seating and people watching. However, both times I've been to this location they got my order wrong. The first time, they gave me the wrong sandwich. I didn't say anything and just ate it. The second time, they gave me the wrong drink-- I ordered their berry energy drink. She gave me the peach energy drink. When I told her it was the wrong one and that I ordered the berry, she tried to gaslight me and said it was berry. It was not only the wrong color, but it also tasted like peach. I don't think I'll return. I don't spend that much on a drink not to get what I ordered. Their matcha latte is also very strange. Just go to the cafe next door if you want a good matcha. Maybe their coffee is great, but I don't drink coffee!
Amara C — Google review
Coffee Fellows is very well-known, so there's no need to write much about it. In 2025, the prices were raised. The coffee was good, and the cakes are also tasty. The bagels are good by German standards, but I hope no New Yorkers try them. Anyone who has had a bagel in New York knows what a bagel should be like. I'm not talking about the topping or filling of the bagel sandwich, but about the bagel "bread" itself. Unfortunately, I had different expectations. But overall, I can still recommend it, simply to meet people or to work on a laptop in between appointments. They also have free Wi-Fi here.
MacMohi A — Google review
It was a very nice cafe shop, so comfortable seats nice music in background. I could work using my laptop easily. The lady who takes orders was very polite and helpful. I liked and will revisit for sure. N.B the coffee here is amazing.

This Coffee Fellows branch is located along Kaiserstraße and is open from 8am to 8pm (weekdays) and 9am to 9pm (weekends). They have a fair sized indoor seating area. You can do take-away as well. Menu features traditional coffees, non-coffee drinks, bagel sandwiches along with a few other savoury food choices and sweet desserts options. Passed by recently for a morning coffee and light bite. Avo sandwich was pretty good, espresso macchiato was very good, coffee crema just fine. Prices reasonable for what is served. Service friendly and timely. It was a typical Coffee Fellows experience.
Brad — Google review
They have cappuccino in three sizes, I ordered one big cappuccino! First the cup and saucer were kinda not clean and there were old stains on them. Second I felt I’m drinking just milk, I’m not sure but I guess it was single shot, but I expect at least for big one they add two shots. But the good thing is that the place is really big and there are plenty of tables and space to sit. Btw, the flush of restroom was broken and there was no toilet paper!
Shamim A — Google review
Very dissappointed! 🙁 Visited on Sunday, the 5th of October. Took 2 teas, Lemon and Ginger. Take away. Look at the pictures. Super thin slice of ginger, couple of slices of lemon and that‘s it. Cost is 4.90€ and way too much. On top, there was no honey available. Definitely has to be improved!
Dmitry S — Google review
Good coffee and a nice atmosphere, but the overall quality has dropped in recent weeks. Service is slow and disorganized: not the staff’s fault, as there simply aren’t enough people behind the bar. They also used to play some lounge music, which added to the vibe, but now there’s no music at all, making it feel like just another ordinary café.

When in Frankfurt, a visit to Zeit für Brot is an absolute must! This beloved bakery has been delighting locals and visitors alike since its inception in 2009. Known for its delectable Schnecken—cinnamon rolls that come in a variety of flavors like chocolate, apple, and even rhubarb—this spot often sees queues stretching out the door. But don’t let that deter you; the friendly staff work quickly to ensure your wait is worthwhile.
We tried the apple cinnamon roll, pecan maple syrup, lemon ginger, and dark chocolate. We strongly relished the two first ones which were delicious. The other two were okay (not as moist and fluffy). We also got the babka, which was incredible. We finally purchased a bretzel, which was dry and underwhelming.

Those cinnamon rolls are soooo good! Many different flavors and so fluffy. The ambience inside is not very welcoming and the staff seemed quite stressed and could be a bit more friendly. But still, I’ll be back for the rolls!
Viktoria R — Google review
OMG ! The best Rolls & Buns I ever had.. Not too sweet, very fresh, very soft, too good.. Please start delivering (Wolt / Lieferando). Unfortunately the service was not good for me. One of the lady stuff was not very welcoming; I probably spent 2-3 minutes looking at all the buns and rolls. All of those were so tempting that I couldn't decide which ones to take and which ones to skip. When the female employee realized that I was here for the first time and I was confused so I ordered 2 of them randomly, she made a strange facial expression, smiled at her colleague, and then staring at me with a funny expression. It was extremely awkward. However, there was only one German female customer behind me, she must have noticed the whole thing in those 3-4 minutes; after I paid, she looked at me with a smile and said that she also likes the walnut bun that I took; & said that she hopes I will like it too. I thanked her, exchanged gratitude and left the store. I have encountered racist people many times in many places, so these days they don't bother me much, but if that female staff reads my comment, I will request her to be a little more humane towards everyone. But yes if I get a chance I will definitely visit this store again in the future.

Really lovely bakery! Happy for all the vegetarian options too. We tried the sandwiches (egg and hummus), herbed cheese and vegetable sandwich, a pretzel, rhubarb coffee cake, iced and hot americano. It was really busy but the staff helped everyone quickly while also organizing the pastry case so it looked appealing. Coffee was made well too. Seating is a little limited but it seemed to accommodate everyone okay on a really rainy morning. The bread quality is fantastic and all dishes are composed well. The balance of flavors and textures really pleased us after a good workout.

Fluffy cinnamon rolls are very delicious and light not too sugary. The cappuccino is ok but the espresso is not that good. It needs to be more consistent and concentrated. The location is nice and you can set outside in the warm weather. However the trolley was full for returning the empty plates. This can be improved in the future.
Y H — Google review
When you arrive you can see the line outside the shop because the pastries taste very good. They have plenty of bread and pastries. All of them look very good and you want to take it all. LOL. They also have coffee, tea, and soda. They have 6 tables inside, bar seats inside available for you and if you want to enjoy the sun they have 4 tables outside as well. You can see through the pastries to see how they can make delicious things. The staffs are nice and friendly. They can speak English very well. The price is reasonable. They have no parking space. The shop is easy to find. The waiting time is around 3-5 min. You can use the card and cash.

Save your money. The pastries taste like day olds and are much less flavor full than you are expecting. The staff was busy doing other things despite there being an increasingly long line. Pick another bakery.

Wish I read the reviews before I picked up a croissant. Terrible service, and didn't taste fresh despite being mid morning. Edit: I should point out that they are actually two Le Crobag stands in the station. The smaller one close to the way to the U-Bahn is the worst and the one upon which my review above was based. But the larger one is not much better in terms of product quality, although the service was better it could still be considered below average.

We loved coffee, cake, croissant in Frankfurt. This another lovely place, didn’t disappoint. Taste was good, very refreshing coffee. It was long queue, but worth being there. Staff were friendly and helpful to choose the order. Also, served very quickly. It’s recommended to try.

9/13 I think this is not my first time having LE CROBAG. It’s been a long day since I came to Germany last time, abt 5yrs. As a traveler from Taiwan, I think the food and coffee are quite good. It tastes delicious even it’s cold. I’m really into it. I would try different things tmrw.

If I could give a -1000 stars, I would wait for another decade for Google to add the feature and come back and edit my review to do it. Worst behaviour by the person who was handling the counter. Doesn’t matter how good your food is, if you don’t treat your customer well, there is no point in running a business.

It was lovely chilly day to walk down the Zeil street and crave for the delicious German delicacies always found in cafes. I found this fantastic place where I met with the lovely barista who very kindly served me with the coffee plus two tasty pastries. The other lady was very kind and polite plus a talkative one 😁💖. I was overwhelmed to find out that my neighbors on the next table were Italian speaking ladies. I enjoyed listening to the musical way of conversation between each other. I shall definitely come back to that kind and cozy environment. NOTE: the last image was borrowed from the great Google images.

Shauna M — Google review
The service was abysmal. I arrived right at 7, when they open. I was running to a work meeting, and to see if they were open, I knocked on the door, as it was locked. The shopkeeper rudely gestured at me to go away, but I'd already waited a while, so I stayed. When she finally opened the door, she released a stream of angry German at me, and remained annoyed throughout the interaction. I speak enough German to know it wasn't kind, but not enough to pass as local. I got my delicious pastry and left, but it was not a pleasant encounter. Edit: the pastries were so good that I went back every morning. Still a weird vibe, but yum. Worth the cantankery.

This is by far the worst café I’ve ever been to in terms of customer service. First, the owner wouldn’t let us pay by credit card. Then, when I was using Google Translate on my phone (since the menu is all in German), the owner told me to stop taking photos. I explained I was just translating, not taking pictures, but she didn’t seem to care—super unfriendly. To top it off, there was a bee flying around the bread, so hygiene was definitely questionable. After all this, I figured the food must be amazing, especially with the owner’s attitude. But nope, it was just as disappointing as everything else. Honestly, I never expected such a bad breakfast experience.

Not much meal choices, or drinks for a cafe . Staff was not in a good mood . Perhaps because she was working alone . If you are looking for traditional ice cream flavours then you can have the ice cream .

👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 I read the reviews, but I went anyway just out of morbid curiosity. All the negative reviews are true. This lady is comically horrible. Didn’t greet us, acted irritated that we were in her bakery, got angry when we tried to sit down in one of the many empty chairs. She said something about it only being for takeout while shaking her finger at us. There’s nothing good I can say about the service, other than it gave us a laugh. This lady belongs in a Disney movie as an over emphatic villain. You’d think you’d pay a lower price with horrible service like this, but no, it was expensive.

Update 2020... The coffee used to be better and on the day that I was there the service by the waitress was bad (the cashier and the other lady on the bakery was good though) unfortunately they still do not accept card, only cash. The only good thing about the place is the food quality and the space that they have

Kamps Backstube is a popular bakery located at the station, known for its divine croissants that are a must-try. Visitors also rave about their delicious cappuccino with plenty of foam and the delectable Cinnabon. The Choco Wuppi is another favorite among patrons, making it a go-to spot for delightful pastries and beverages while on the go.
After a long journey, I found myself at Frankfurt train station, and this spot became my breakfast sanctuary. I went with an egg sandwich and a cup of coffee. The coffee was decent—nothing exceptional—but the egg sandwich? Simply extraordinary. It was a bit on the greasy side, but the freshness and flavor more than made up for it. In fact, it looked so tempting that I couldn’t resist taking a big bite before even thinking of snapping a photo. So, forgive me for the half-eaten sandwich picture—I just couldn’t wait! 😊 If you’re ever at the station, this place is definitely worth a stop.

The coffee was a disaster. The waiter was rude and spoke no English. Although the cinnamon roll was quite tasty, I would not recommend it.

I bought the hazelnut roll and cinnamon roll, both of them seems like undercooked, can still taste the texture of flour. The staff was not waking up yet, keeping yawn all the time, made wrong order and forgot what just put in the bag. Brasserie Ici offers an immersive football experience with its large screens broadcasting games from any spot in the restaurant. The METRO Train station conveniently connects to the mall's entrance, while numerous international brands have set up shops here. Their breakfast service is exceptional, thanks to dedicated staff who show great loyalty and skill. The buffet breakfast is satisfactory overall, featuring delectable omelettes and pancakes. Notably, the attentive service provided by the friendly staff adds to the pleasant dining experience.
Good variety of choices. From bread to cold cut, mains to dessert. There’s an egg station, you can choose the type of eggs you like. Couple of coffee machine so people wouldn’t be crowding around. Great choices of juices and concentrated juices. Love the sparkling wine and the mixers. The service staff was excellent, made the entire breakfast experience fantastic. Special shoutout to Eugenia who was so lovely throughout the entire morning session.

Very disappointing experience. We were after a nice brunch on a Sunday morning near our hotel (because we needed to catch a train) and literally called the place in order to know if they were open. They said on the phone there was plenty of room to welcome us so we walked there (20mins) and when we got to the place, we were refused entry because the place was apparently privatized for a party (at 10:45 on a Sunday morning). The place was empty, they were so many available tables for us, even on the outside terrace, but they just refused to serve us. I don’t recommend this place unless you have time to waste.

We found it during a long walk, around 20 minutes from the hotel where we stayed, at an intersection in a very local area. I’m glad we found this place after a frantic weekend of walking around the city. The matcha latte was bold, tasty and with just the right amount of creaminess to complement the green tea. The pastries are baked in-house and we’re done beautifully. I ordered the lemon meringue pie and it was fresh, zesty and hit the spot. The barista was warm, friendly and very welcoming. TRY Frankfurt is a cozy and informal spot located between the dome and the river. The place is furnished with a mix of vintage-style furniture, modern kitchen equipment, and black and white celebrity pictures. The coffee served here is highly recommended, while the food looks delicious. The breakfast options include high-quality cold cuts and cheese, as well as scrumptious sandwiches made with passion. The food was ok. Not good but not bad. The Service was bad. Yes I was sitting at a bigger table alone, because it was not a rush hour. Then the waitress asked me in a rude way, if I can go the Single chair. That’s not a big deal, I wasn‘t finished with my coffee and I didn’t like the tone she was saying it. I felt stressed. So I told her I had to leave anyway and left. It was my first time there. And I just wanted to enjoy some coffee and food after a long shift.

Very disturbed by the owners idea of service, not only did we wait for a coffee and sandwich for about 20 minutes, but we were also forbidden to sit down in the lounge area. After asking politely to sit down in the comfortable area when the coffee shop went empty, we were told that we couldn't and were to order again, if we wanted to stay longer. This did shock us, since we hadn't even been there for an hour and the shop was empty... Overall, the usual staff are very kind, just not the female owner.

Come here if you.... want to grab good coffee and food at a good price and a relaxing atmosphere! Prices are much cheaper than at the typical cafes but quality is the same! For example big capuchino is 2,90 and the complete breakfast less than 8 euros The atmosphere is quite nice as unlike for the more popular cafe places, there is plenty of space between tables and you don’t feel with a lack of privacy. I also loved the music and the big windows. Wifi available

BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE! IT'S NOT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NOT EVEN TO TRY! It was my first and last due to very bad experience! VORSICHT VOR DIESEM ORT! ES IST NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT, IHN AUCH NUR ZU VERSUCHEN! Es war mein erster und letzter Besuch aufgrund einer sehr schlechten Erfahrung! When I entered the cafe, I saw that all tables were "resereved", so I asked the guy politely and he told me that I can first order and then I can have a place to sit down/stay. So, I came to check the menu. I told the girl (of African descent) in the counter that I want something cold, and she told me that "ALL OF THE DRINKS ARE COLD", so then I ordered "Fresh tea (peppermint, lemon and ginger), expecting it like a cold/iced refreshing tea. Then after 10-15mins. my order came, and it was HOT TEA!!! What??? I did not order hot tea!!! She told me, "Ah okay, if you want, we can change it to something else" then I asked what are those that have the same price (4.20eur) as I ordered. She told me, "Everything. It's just adding .50 cent to make it cold. So then, we went to the counter again and she showed me the menu. Then, I said "Okay, Iced latte machiatto." After some minutes, she came again and told me that they will try to make my order (hot tea) cold so I said "Yes, okay" since that was my original order. So then, she came with my order with a bit of ice and and the water wasn't hot but rather in room temperature. So, okay. It was fine with me. I started to put some sugar because it was tasteless. Then, I already noticed that one of their colleagues (older lady) has been looking at me and minutes after, she came to me and ask if I speak German or English, I said a little bit of German. After that she told me that I asked for the hot tea and now I wanted it to be another drink, that I asked for another drink, and said that I cannot do that because for them it was a lost! So, I tried to explain politely what happened but she was so rude and unwelcoming to hear the reason as if I was intentionally asking for another drink! HUH!!!! I told her that it might be misunderstanding because the lady told me all drinks are cold! Anyway, she left and spoke with the lady who catered my order and I came close to clarify the situation. And this lady who got my order told me the other way!!! HAHAHAHA. She told me, "Yes, I told you that all drinks are cold (then pointing only to the coffee part)." It was a total mess and this old lady began explaining to me that a tea is not cold, it's hot. Yes, I understand. But how come your worker offered me that if I told her first hand that I wanted a COLD drink? It wasn't my fault! And I wasn't trying to take advantage to get a new drink. Duh? They're supposed to be humble and serving me a complimentary because they gave a misleading information. Later on, this older lady asked me how long am I been in Germany and told me many things, trying to intimidate me while being both foreigners! And in fact I told her that it was my first time and with my experience with them, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CAFE TO ANYONE OF MY FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES, FAMILY, especially for those who just want to chill, relax, work, NEVER!

I love this place since my first time there. The food is delicious and freshly made, staff is polite (and can speak english) and it is not expensive at all. I always have lots of requests and they attend everything I require. My only point is that the coffee in the latte can be improved.

We looked for a place which was open on a Sunday. They had a buffet but let us choose a la cart. The croissants 🥐 unfortunately were very small and not fresh. I think they come pre frozen and then are just baked (would not have expected that). The butter was so hard that you could not use it for the croissant without completely destroying it. For the eggs they were ok. We didn’t get the bread which was on the menu and had to ask for it. Would not go there again unfortunately.
