I’ve visited Sunny Side Up Westend twice now, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorite spots in the city. The place has a modern, fresh vibe, and the young team working here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The food is excellent — delicious, well-presented, and with plenty of variety to suit every mood. What I love most is the wide range of healthy options available, making it easy to enjoy something both tasty and good for you. Overall, this restaurant is a gem: stylish atmosphere, fantastic service, and consistently great food. This was my second visit, but definitely not my last. I’ll be coming back again for sure!

Had breakfast at Sunny Side Up — the sourdough toast with eggs and avocado cheese was absolutely delicious. Great taste, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

On our first day in Frankfurt, we decided to have breakfast here, and we instantly loved the vibe—the interior is really cool! Everything looked amazing; check out my photos to see both the food and the interior. I loved the carrot cake—it’s a must-try!! My sister ate the acai bowl and really enjoyed it. The matcha strawberry pancakes weren’t really to our taste, we didn’t like them att all but you might like them. Our Earth matcha smoothies were super thick —we didn’t even get ice, so they were really dense… Overall, if you’re looking for a place that’s perfect for an aesthetic story, this spot is totally for you!

Delicious brunch spot. Have quite a few options to choose from, good portions as well. Might take a bit to wait if you around peak time of 11-12pm~. Took us probably 15mins on Monday afternoon. Service was quick as well staff super nice and friendly. If need wifi just ask the staff. Definitely recommend!

This Cafe has many seats but unfortunately too few staff who can take orders and checkouts. We had to wait and struggled for a long time until we finally got some notice. Food was good, I especially liked the bagel I ordered in addition. It was served warm and had slightly crunchy surface.

This place is very well decorated with details of fresh flowers at every table on beautiful terrace and inside seating. I got the marrakech breakfast which was cold when it got to my table, probably because the service was SLOW and unprofessional (while I was there servers dropped trays of drinks/food twice). The carrot cake was the best part but I paired it with an espresso that lacking in size. You can pay by card but they like many places in Frankfurt don’t have wifi. They are connected to the museum.

Came here by chance on a Friday night when other spots were full, and it turned out to be a pleasant find! The restaurant is right next to the metro station, making it very convenient. Spacious, nice outdoor seating, and a chill vibe. Service was pretty slow, but the staff was genuinely friendly, so we didn’t mind too much. Food was good, though not a lot of meat options for dinner—maybe because of the Middle Eastern influence? What we did try was solid: - Lamb chops – Nicely seasoned, but slightly dry. The polenta was smooth and flavorful. - Octopus – Cooked beautifully, tender with a nice hint of lemon that made it even better. Overall, a nice spot for a laid-back dinner, especially if you enjoy Mediterranean/Middle Eastern flavors.

They are really kind and sweet! Location and atmosphere are also cute. But the drink price is a little higher than how it was, in my opinion. Food was so nice and I loved their selection of cheese on the platter.

Very solid and fresh brunch options with a great outdoor space to enjoy yourself before conquering Frankfurt’s old town and River Main walk. The bagel was fairly priced and was largely portioned, though it will not leave you bloated.

I second another review: yes, the pancakes with fried chicken taste very nice! Good combination of sweet and savoury. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly service as well. A perfect stopping point after visiting the Schirn gallery.

When I arrived at Café Crumble, I was feeling cold and tired, but a young female waitress welcomed me with genuine warmth. She immediately asked if I would like an English menu, which was very thoughtful. Later, a young male waiter served me, and he was also polite and friendly. Both of them spoke excellent English. The chocolate and berry crumble I ordered, together with a large black coffee, was absolutely delicious — it revived me instantly. Although I stayed only for a short while and spent just 9 euros, I paid 10 and told the waiter to keep the change. He looked genuinely surprised and thanked me for the tip, which made me feel a bit embarrassed — I even fumbled in my wallet and added two more small coins, though I had no idea how much they were worth. All in all, I truly want to thank them for their smiles and kindness — those are rarer and even more precious than good service or tasty food.

Very nice cozy brunch cafe with traditional style decoration. Love their Garten at the backyard especially during summer. The staffs there are very friendly and warm-hearted. You can clearly sense that they love their job and this Cafe very much, which makes you feel home there. Nothing fancy or hipster, but coffee is tasty and food is decent with stable quality. Their homemade crumble and cake are the must try!

Visited this cafe consecutive times cause of the excellent service I received the first time. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, something I don’t usually encounter here in the city. I loved the crumble and would order it again when I come back. They also allow laptop charging for those who need to do remote work which is a plus for me!! :)

I had english breakfast tea and ate large breakfast for two people. The bread rolls and croissant was not perfect but good enough. I sat outside. The atmosphere was great, but there were too many bees, which was so uncomfortable! 🐝

We had a very lovely and valuable breakfast at the Café! The Service is perfect, a great amount of different food variations. Highly recommend the Cappuccino and the Vital fit Breakfast. The Atmosphere was good but I see some potential for upgrades regarding more warm decoration, especially now for the period of fall and winter. I was served by a very kind and friendly staff but the desserts were so disappointing. Pistachio one tasted like imitation flavored. The chocolate mousse was too watery (probably syrup).... I saw it crowded and so popular so I expected something good but no....it was so bad overall. Maybe a place for a meal, but definitely not pâtisserie.

This order of two quiche and two pain au chocolates took 30 minutes to get to our table. Terrible, terrible service for things that aren’t complicated to prepare or serve. Both items were in the window so should have been super quick to get to us. I could have ordered them immediately if they were to take away but they don’t allow you to order at the counter and take to your table. They prefer you to wait.

Nice French pastry in Frankfurt but pricey. Today we decided to change a bit and go for a French pastry in Frankfurt. We were positively surprised with the good food quality. We had a croque madame, an omelette campagne, fresh jus d’orange, fruit tea, vanilla éclaire and a tarte crumble and berries. Very delicious but all a bit pricey. You can stay outside as well and in a nice sunny day, like today it’s amazing

Delicious french pastries, too bad there wasn't more choices. We ordered a galette, which meet all our expectations (except we could see the fève from outside but well 🤭), it was very good. Very friendly staff, I want to go again !

So firstly the pros 👍🏼I love the french pastries and bread. Fresh, beautiful and delicious. Now the negatives 👎🏼 They do not accept cards which in the year 2024 is utterly bizarre. 👎🏼 When dining in, the experience is utterly chaotic. The staff is all over the place. They are making coffee, waiting tables, servicing the customers at the bakery part etc It would be way more sensible to establish specific stations so the staff is more organized and efficient. 👎🏼 This staff situation then leads to an uncomfortable feeling for the customer who doesn’t know who to order from, who will deliver the check, and then the staff looks stressed, so then the customer feels awkward. The staff generally has an air of grumpiness because of the chaos which again is very unpleasant. Overall, they really need to organize things better. It’s a mess and the customer feels this chaos and it then becomes uncomfortable to want to eat there.

The éclairs aren’t that tasty, and they only take cash.

Went here for a quick breakfast and it was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and good service. Cakes looked like they were standing there for a few days. Next Time service could maybe cut out the end piece that doesn’t look fresh anymore. Otherwise I can recommend this place.

Yummiest breakfast with great environment, I was staying nearby and went there without knowing how cool it would be. Their bread is awesome, they make their own jam and coffee was on of the best I’ve had in Germany.

Super tasty coffee! Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get a table for breakfast on a weekend unless you have a reservation. Personally I find this really annoying and also inefficient for them: there are plenty of people coming in the mornings who are constantly rejected because there are tables reserved in 30 minutes time... They should at least change the policy and only allow reservations for some tables but not for all. The place is quite small and a bit dark, so not the best for studying/reading. In any case, coffee is really great!

I love this place! I am there regularily for coffee or breakfast. They have one if not the best tasting coffee/latte in frankfurt. Good quality, reasonable prices, halal and vegan options. Did I mention the la marzocco espresso machine? 😍

Having visited Yellow Mellow more than 20 times during my years in Frankfurt am Main, I can't help but feel a warm affection for this cozy spot. Run by a lovely lady with Turkish roots, Yellow Mellow always welcomes you with open arms and a friendly smile. Despite changing up its menu over time, Yellow Mellow has never failed to impress me with its consistently delicious offerings. Their cakes, in particular, are not only mouthwatering but also look absolutely irresistible. Of course, like many places, Yellow Mellow has had to adjust its prices over the years, especially with all the challenges brought on by Covid and inflation. But hey, that's just life, right? Looking back on my visits, I find myself really missing the laid-back mornings spent at Yellow Mellow - enjoying a hearty breakfast, chatting with the cheerful staff, and treating myself to those scrumptious cakes. It's a place that holds a special spot in my heart, and I can't wait for the chance to go back again.

After strolling through Bethmann Park, we decided to have tea and this place popped up. Charming and aesthetic café with tables outside and inside. Once you enter you see a tea cart with different types of cakes to choose from besides a counter with further options. Waiters speak English. The only negative point is that it's CASH only and has no WIFI.

Love it so much. I was looking for a cafe to chill but didn’t expect to find a cafe with so many vegan cakes. I had a lemon cake and mochachino. They have alternatives for milk too. Variety of drinks and desserts. You can choose a table outside to enjoy the weather and people watching or sit inside this very cool decorated shop (with 3 rooms). Definitely a come-back place and one more thing to look forward to in Frankfurt The owner was very friendly too. I saw him provided a water bowl for a dog, a pet friendly cafe for dog lovers.

Pancakes taste really good! However, you have to bring a lot of patience at the weekend, we waited 45min+. Moreover, the portion size ought to be improved, the plate with 8 pancakes and fruit cost 35€(!)

We were sitting outside but it's also very comfortable and cosy inside. There are not a lot of options but I believe you will find a suitable dish. Options for two were nice (there are three of them). The café has a Turkish spirit (dips, Turkish coffee and tea). It's good, waiters are very friendly

The food at MOMI was very delicious! I had a shakshouka for brunch which was amazing! There are enough vegetarian options and also vegan options. I also really liked their coffee ;) Would definitely come here again :)

Went there with my friends. We all were excited to try their strawberry matcha and were immensely disappointed. It was too watery, barely could taste the strawberry, the matcha wasn’t even mixed properly as you can see in the photo. My friends matcha was even white… and worst of all it cost over 6€. The worst and most expensive matcha i’ve ever had. We were a fan of the pancake and the sandwiches we tried (sucuk & momo club), however the bread was too hard to eat, particularly the corners. Overall a bit too pricy for what it is. The service was also not good. They told us to sit down and that they would take our order and we waited around 30 minutes for someone to even approach us although it was not that busy. Also, the inside was filled with bees which were all over the deserts and the cashier area. They should really do something about that as not everyone might be a fan or bees disturbing them as they eat. A nice location, good vibes but not sure if I would ever go back after this experience.

amazing !!! visiting frankfurt and tried MOMI and it was phenomenal. the staff was so kind, and the pastries were delicious. we got a pistachio latte, matcha latte, and cappuccino as well as the fresh sourdough with whipped butter/cheese and chocolate babka. i loved the cappuccino the most. would come back if my stay in frankfurt were longer!

Health hazards. Don't go if your health is fragile! The barista was very obviously ill with a bad cough, and coughing all over the food and drinks. There is no ventilation system and she was not wearing a mask. I literally saw her covering her mouth with her hand while coughing, to then grab cups to make coffee. No hand washing, no sanitisers, no mask. I went in fancying a ham sandwich but when I saw these were kept on the counter, rather than in a refrigerated space, I desisted. Pretentious, focused on looks, but lacking basic health and safety measures. Extremely slow service. Please hire more staff so that you have a virus you can stay home rather than expose your customers to illness. Or just perhaps wear a mask and gloves? Cherry on the top: below average cappuccino and a good pain au chocolat: 8 euros. This is a pretentious place and does not consider that it exposes people to health hazards.

Wonderful find as a visitor-you always take chances on an eatery when you don’t know a city. The Gorgonzola bacon grilled sandwich was superb. Coffee was great-my only complaint would be the keep-cups are too small! Highly recommended.

Having breakfast at the terrace was great. I had a Tasty French Toast and French eggs. It’s a good option if you are planning to go to Palmengarten afterwards.

One of my favourites in Frankfurt. I have to praise the elegant atmosphere and the professional staff. I have been there for lunch and for Kaffee und Kuchen and was always pleased. The food is delicious and (in my opinion) well worth the price. My recommendations: the special weekly menu, the Mille-Feuille Toskana (only available in the Summertime), and the fresh orange juice. You can pay with card and the staff helps you in English, if you specify this preference. During the sunnier months, it is very pleasant to sit outside. However, seeing as this is a very popular location, I would recommend booking a table in advance and specifying whether you would like to sit outside (even for Kaffee und Kuchen!). Quality is the motto of this house. Ideal for: a date, a special celebration, a classy treat...

Unbelievably rude. I can't even describe the disrespect. 65 cents for a tea cup. Questioning why we want an extra fork? (One dropped on the floor). Food was subpar and you can get much better coffee and pastries elsewhere. And before we receive their rebuttal we speak both German and English and in this case, we ordered in German. There are so many better places in Frankfurt. Please go there.

A fantastic spot with a super chill, alternative vibe. We love coming to Walden for a relaxed coffee meeting or just to start our day. It's a huge plus that they serve coffee from Wacker's, a true Frankfurt institution. The cappuccino was rich with perfect foam, and the latte macchiato was smooth and delicious. If you track caffeine with the Mindful Coffee app, select "single shot" for the small cappuchino, and "double shot" for the large cappuchino!

I used to love this place since many years and would often stop by for a weekend breakfast. Sadly I have to say goodbye to it now due to the changes in the menu. All bacon and pork ham options that the clients were used to and loved have been replaced with turkey or sucuk. What a disappointment. Didn’t know what to order any more, so just left

I went to this restaurant on my trip here visiting from the States. The customer service was absolutely wonderful! They were even kind enough to provide us with English menus. The food was good as well. The only reason I give them a 4 was because of the pancakes. While the pancakes were good, I think I just like the ones in the States better. On a different note, I thought it was hilarious that they had this vending machine in the ladies room. ☺️

Nice cafe, comfortable to sit. Usually I try to give all specialty cafes five stars because they serve well-roasted coffee, but the Guatemala Geisha V60 we tried here was very weak and underextracted. I guess other coffees taste better, they overall offer a great variety of coffee beans.

Nice mood with good coffee. No laptop/tablets on weekends or public holidays. The cake was hearty and moyst and the Americano was nice too. Would recommend as it is also reasonably crowded/animated.

Tasty pastries (vegan options!) and tasty coffee. I was with a group of colleagues and we all ordered drinks and snacks, the baristas forgot my pour over which wasn’t a big deal as I used to work in a cafe myself so I get it! I let them know I never got it and they were super nice and apologetic and then gave me a single origin espresso to try and an espresso tonic to go for free. It wasn’t necessary to give me anything but it showed that the employees here will really go the extra step to make sure you’re happy customer even if you haven’t asked for the extra step. All my drinks were delicious and I’ll definitely return the next time we are in Frankfurt.

They have indoor seats and outdoor benches. They accept card payments and they have different brewed coffee types that taste amazing.

I visited Holy Cross Brewing Society for a filter coffee to go and asked for a little milk. Both the barista and the person at the register visibly flinched and said, “We don’t usually do that.” When the coffee was ready, the barista held up a bottle of milk and asked, “Are you sure?” as if adding milk were a transgression. I replied, “It’s not poison—please don’t make me feel bad about my coffee.” He turned without a word and walked away. It’s perfectly acceptable for a café to have a distinct philosophy or offer guidance to customers. What’s not acceptable is condescension. Much of the coffee-producing world enjoys coffee with milk, and hospitality should never be compromised by self-importance.

Awful experience. We were rudely told to sit to be served. Ten minutes later saw the waitress serve others just arrived. I asked why we are not served, she said she never saw us. We were in plain site. I guess they did not like english speaking tourists.

This is a beautiful spot in Frankfurt. Hidden just a few steps away from the main shopping street, you find this café. They offer great coffee and tasty cakes and pastry. The service is friendly, and there is a typical Frankfurt atmosphere that surrounds you. A must when around!

Nice little German-style breakfast café with simple, well-made dishes (do not expect anything fancy). Service was fast and friendly enough to accommodate any substitutions in our order. The menu on their website is outdated and indicates much lower prices than they actually have. I’ve attached the current menu for reference (as per mid-April 2023).

I know no other café in Frankfurt, which makes a cappuccino as great as theirs. They always have the nicest staff, the waiting times are always pretty short, even when it’s busy and the music inside the store fits perfectly to the vibe. There isn’t always a free table, but they got plenty of space to sit or stand (when it’s not one of the busiest hours). The red wine cake and the banana cake are both great, sometimes a bit too dry but the taste is awesome! I can only recommend a visit here for a small coffee break!!

Sat outdoors. Not super cozy, considering the construction work going on & quite dull street. The iced latte was great. Rich flavour. Nice espresso base with low acidity and tones of dark chocolate. The pasteis de nata was soft all through, including the pie crust. Sweet. The texture of the filling was a bit curdly.

My fav spot in Frankfurt for good pastries and the best chai latte!!

Very small café with limited seats. Choices of cake is good with rather unusual types of flavor. Coffee was good. Shakshouka is a must try. Went here in early March, a bit too cold to sit inside for longer periods of time.

A super nice, helpful, kids friendly lady served us the best chocolate cake with cherries and tiramisu. Although I bought a great hummus to take away. You can sit outside or inside, prices are reasonable - go there, you'll have a good time!

Morcolade Breakfast is a very nice one. Place is quite good. There is variety of cakes as well. Wooden seats and small tables (in terms of height) are not comfortable though especially if you are tall

Actually a very nice cafe with an authentic Israeli flair, really good cake and breakfast. The fresh bread provided by the attached bakery makes it also special. Unfortunately, the service is partly unfriendly und unwelcoming. Especially parents with small children are rather preferred outside. Probably too much energy and volume spoils the hipster vibe.

I don’t understand why this bakery doesn’t have a higher rating. The best bakery I found in Frankfurt. Breads are super delicious, staff is friendly and kind and is available to help you in English. (Dankeschön 🫶) I absolutely fell in love with their Franzbrötchen, reasonably priced, your taste buds will be amazed by the perfect balance of cinnamon and butter… I think it’s the best in town. Their sandwiches and bretzels were awesome too. Despite it being very delicious, their prices are not super elevated compared to other bakeries I tasted in Frankfurt which is amazing.

Very nice bakery located near the main railway station and on a way to the city center. I liked the assortment, overall atmosphere and reasonable prices. There is parking space for bikes right in front of the entrance. Cappuccino that I ordered was delicious and baked Christmas man simply amazing. Highly recommend to visit once you are in Frankfurter-Bahnhofsviertel.

I wandered in here because I was staying at the Hotel Victoria next door and was so glad I did. The plum tart was so good I came back the next day… and a week later on my way out of Germany. A solid cappuccino as well, and very friendly service. I’m so glad I lucked into this place!

Interior in warm colors. Very close between the tables. Had some Laugenbretzel, sandwich and cappuccino for breakfast. All was rather boring. Had higher expectations for the bread as this is a bakery. But it could just be me not choosing their best bread. The cappuccino was bland.

They had LOTS of vegan options I got the Vegan croissant, focaccia, and plum danish and everything was DELICIOUS 😋 Would definitely go back! A good place to have some coffee/tea while you are doing your work as they have wifi as well . Their bakery foods are great & tasted good . The staffs need to be more well trained on their customer service manner’s & providing the same level of service to everyone .

The experience started off fine—the food was good, and we were looking forward to trying more. But I never truly understood the stereotype of Germans being rude until I stepped foot in this place. The service was downright shocking. We only found out they only accept cash after we ordered the bill, even though the cashier at the stand clearly had a POS machine. Apparently, their “location” doesn’t have signal for card payments—conveniently, this wasn’t mentioned earlier. Then, when we wanted to order more pastries, the attitude from the staff was out of this world (and not in a good way). Instead of a warm welcome, we got dismissiveness and an air of annoyance, as if serving customers was a personal inconvenience. All in all, the food was okay, but the terrible service completely ruined the experience. Definitely not a place I’d return to.

Came here with a friend for breakfast, and the atmosphere was really pleasant, bright, calm, and not too loud. Service was quick, which was a plus. The food itself wasn’t anything exceptional, but it wasn’t bad either. The breakfast spread included a variety of cheeses, breads, fruits, ham, and a hot drink. Portions were generous, it’s honestly hard to finish everything even after an hour of eating. One nice touch is that you’re allowed to take the leftovers home. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.

I would like to agree with many of the previous posts here - the food quantity may be fine but the staff's attitude and rudeness are unacceptable. I went to pick up my breakfast boxes for a birthday breakfast. The staff had made an honest mistake due to the error prone, email based preordering . Rather than fixing their mistake, they started insulting me and sent me out of their restaurant. Never experienced something like this before. No empathy, no sense of business. Simply aggressive and abusive. I recommend staying away from this place unless you are really desperate.

Such a cozy, yet chic place to sip and eat. The dark chocolate was delicious and the big oceanique platter was a little buffet! It was amazing. The breads and croissants were soft and tasty just as all the fresh fruit and everything. Also a great food selection on the platter. In the end we could even take some with us with the bags they gave us. :) The French vibe really adds to the ambiance. We loved it and will come back.

The quality of the food is very good, and the lady who served us was helpful and kind, but the waiting times were truly unacceptable. We arrived at 12:15 PM, two people, for brunch. After fifteen minutes, we still hadn’t received the menus, so I went inside to get them myself because it was impossible to stop the waitresses (there were two of them, but the place was quite full at the time). We managed to place our order around 12:45 — two servings of scrambled eggs with their respective sides. We were served at 2 PM, when the restaurant was almost empty. It's a shame because the quality is very good, but it’s just not acceptable to wait that long.

Looks: this place makes you feel like you are somehow in France. Also it’s situated in a really nice neighborhood. Design of this place is just great. And that’s it with nice stuff. Service : almost not existing, you will stay in line and the people working behind the counter are so slow that you’ll want to go and help them! Also the coffee is super small it’s becoming something usual in Germany lately to pay a lot for a mini cup of coffee! We wanted to have one of those plates we have seen on Instagram but Sunday at 3pm they only sell cake and coffee! I also felt like the waiter was being really unfriendly almost all of them. Coffee was good also the croissant with the blueberry’s was nice but I’m not into sweet’s. All in one it was ok but personally I won’t come back here.

Loved everything! One of the best pistachio-croissant I ever had💚If you will have black coffee, I recommend to ask a normal one. I chose extra aroma and it was too much for me, unfortunately.

My boy and I struck gold. At least that’s what I told myself that when we walked by this shop on a Friday afternoon. The ambiance inside the shop captivated me, and we saw the pricing for a 10€ Negroni, which sealed our fate to spend the next three hours here. Pastries and coffee are superb - especially the pistachio croissant. Certainly, the price for those are higher than your regular coffee shops, but Gresso ain’t serving your average cup of joe. Drinks were well crafted if that’s your vice, and the whole place was super energetic. Lots of people coming in and out. Give it a try and you shall not be disappointed by this Italian gem!

The main attraction of this hotel is their constantly moving elevator. It is a very cool experience to get to ride it. The breakfast is amazing. The bed is comfortable. The shower is fine. The curtains are not actually the blackout curtains, so that is definitely annoying and depending on what side of the hotel you are on, there is a bar that plays music outside that you can hear inside of the room at night. Earplugs are helpful.

The hotel itself is fine. The restaurant and bar, too expensive for what you get. A meat dish with a glass of wine, water and some roasted potatoes will set you back ~€60. A plain gin tonic at the bar (unknown brand of gin and definitely not premium tonic) is €16. I got the last part of a big bottle of tonic and there was no fizz left at all! Worst gin tonic that was ever served to me.

Staff were friendly. Really nice and fun paternoster lift which they operate in the evening time. Hospitable hotel. Location was perfect. Close to the Hauptwache and zeil. A bit pricey each night for my stay though.

Location is very good having just 10 minutes walking to city center. Rooms are large enough with everything you need for a stay for few days. Breakfast was very good with many options. The only downside was the check-in and check-out moments when are just two offices for these operations and you need to wait for 10-15 minutes.

Our 5 days stay was very comfortable and cosy.The stuff was friendly. We chose our pillows from a rich variety , we had breakfast at the 7th floor. Unfortunately there is no cafe or snack place inside the hotel and therefor you can not stay at the lobby. There was an amount hold at checkin as authorization which is totally unnecessary.

At check-out, I needed the invoice for the extra services. They receptionist could not manage to print it out and offered to send it via email. I agreed to that and left. The receptionist never sent anything, nor contacted me further. I called morning, afternoon, evening and night and in different days to the hotel, and they never picked the phone, not one single time. Not the reception, not reservation, not the restaurant, NOBODY. I then sent an email explaining the situation and requesting the invoice. Of course, nobody ever replied to the email nor contacted me back. At the end, I had to contact another Fleming hotel in Frankfurt (Riverside), and they picked the phone at once. They kindly connected me through internal channel and THEN they picked the phone at reception. I explained the situation and the receptionist send the invoice during the call. NOT once an apology, a "sorry, sir", nothing. As a side note, we wanted to just take a look at the terrace of the restaurant to see the views, and a rude restaurant manager refused us and told as "this is not a view point, come in the morning". This hotel really does not know anything about hospitality and how to treat guests. I will for sure not come back and will not recommend to any of my colleagues and friends. The only exception is the kind personnel during breakfast service. The other employees should learn from those kind women.

Perfectly located, modern and lovely hotel. Very spacious room and possibility to ask for free extra perks, like hot water bottle or special pillows. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for a stay in Frankfurt.

I love the food here, I can see myself come back often if I lived here! The avocado toast is very different from the one in America. It has a strong earthy flavor from the bread and lot of herbal flavors from the paste they put on the bread. The milk in the cappuccino, is different as well, creamy thick milk scent. The only downside is they are very busy, food took a long time to come out, and I had Städel Museum appointment at noon so I had to ask for my food!

They have vegan - vegetarian - and gluten free options available for anyone with dietary restrictions while also having the normal things for everyone else! Great breakfast, great food, great people! I feel ashamed to share my experience but the two main girls working in the morning don’t hesitate to behave in such a rude way. These girls behave with soo much attitude n arrogant way that they don’t care about the sales and more importantly such kind of behaviour should be get in the notice of the owner. Overall it’s just disgusting to treat people in such a way without any reason . This type of behaviour happened with me thrice .Really poor service. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I have had so many different experiences here honestly but Eden is the only one who just makes me want to visit this bakery again. She is sooo sweet and friendly. Understands the needs of the customer and takes care of them. :) She has made up for all the negative experiences here. The other ladies working here are quite rude honestly especially Vanessa (she is not suitable for this job!). We need more people like Eden!

A wonderful spot for coffee and cake in Frankfurt. Lots of options for coffee and kuchen. The coffee was strong and the kuchen not too sweet- just the way we like it. The space is small and busy, with lots of locals. Worth the detour from the typical tourist spots.

Cute little coffee shop with some seatings indoors and outdoors. The coffee they made at the café was just made of their signature coffee base, which was ok. But this place was really amazing for buying coffee beans. Many kinds (even exclusive kinds) available and they were of really good price compared to many other places (probably as they roast the beans themselves).

I really enjoyed the open air seating and people watching. However, both times I've been to this location they got my order wrong. The first time, they gave me the wrong sandwich. I didn't say anything and just ate it. The second time, they gave me the wrong drink-- I ordered their berry energy drink. She gave me the peach energy drink. When I told her it was the wrong one and that I ordered the berry, she tried to gaslight me and said it was berry. It was not only the wrong color, but it also tasted like peach. I don't think I'll return. I don't spend that much on a drink not to get what I ordered. Their matcha latte is also very strange. Just go to the cafe next door if you want a good matcha. Maybe their coffee is great, but I don't drink coffee!

Coffee Fellows is very well-known, so there's no need to write much about it. In 2025, the prices were raised. The coffee was good, and the cakes are also tasty. The bagels are good by German standards, but I hope no New Yorkers try them. Anyone who has had a bagel in New York knows what a bagel should be like. I'm not talking about the topping or filling of the bagel sandwich, but about the bagel "bread" itself. Unfortunately, I had different expectations. But overall, I can still recommend it, simply to meet people or to work on a laptop in between appointments. They also have free Wi-Fi here.

It was a very nice cafe shop, so comfortable seats nice music in background. I could work using my laptop easily. The lady who takes orders was very polite and helpful. I liked and will revisit for sure. N.B the coffee here is amazing.

This Coffee Fellows branch is located along Kaiserstraße and is open from 8am to 8pm (weekdays) and 9am to 9pm (weekends). They have a fair sized indoor seating area. You can do take-away as well. Menu features traditional coffees, non-coffee drinks, bagel sandwiches along with a few other savoury food choices and sweet desserts options. Passed by recently for a morning coffee and light bite. Avo sandwich was pretty good, espresso macchiato was very good, coffee crema just fine. Prices reasonable for what is served. Service friendly and timely. It was a typical Coffee Fellows experience.

They have cappuccino in three sizes, I ordered one big cappuccino! First the cup and saucer were kinda not clean and there were old stains on them. Second I felt I’m drinking just milk, I’m not sure but I guess it was single shot, but I expect at least for big one they add two shots. But the good thing is that the place is really big and there are plenty of tables and space to sit. Btw, the flush of restroom was broken and there was no toilet paper!

Very dissappointed! 🙁 Visited on Sunday, the 5th of October. Took 2 teas, Lemon and Ginger. Take away. Look at the pictures. Super thin slice of ginger, couple of slices of lemon and that‘s it. Cost is 4.90€ and way too much. On top, there was no honey available. Definitely has to be improved!

Good coffee and a nice atmosphere, but the overall quality has dropped in recent weeks. Service is slow and disorganized: not the staff’s fault, as there simply aren’t enough people behind the bar. They also used to play some lounge music, which added to the vibe, but now there’s no music at all, making it feel like just another ordinary café.

Those cinnamon rolls are soooo good! Many different flavors and so fluffy. The ambience inside is not very welcoming and the staff seemed quite stressed and could be a bit more friendly. But still, I’ll be back for the rolls!

OMG ! The best Rolls & Buns I ever had.. Not too sweet, very fresh, very soft, too good.. Please start delivering (Wolt / Lieferando). Unfortunately the service was not good for me. One of the lady stuff was not very welcoming; I probably spent 2-3 minutes looking at all the buns and rolls. All of those were so tempting that I couldn't decide which ones to take and which ones to skip. When the female employee realized that I was here for the first time and I was confused so I ordered 2 of them randomly, she made a strange facial expression, smiled at her colleague, and then staring at me with a funny expression. It was extremely awkward. However, there was only one German female customer behind me, she must have noticed the whole thing in those 3-4 minutes; after I paid, she looked at me with a smile and said that she also likes the walnut bun that I took; & said that she hopes I will like it too. I thanked her, exchanged gratitude and left the store. I have encountered racist people many times in many places, so these days they don't bother me much, but if that female staff reads my comment, I will request her to be a little more humane towards everyone. But yes if I get a chance I will definitely visit this store again in the future.

Really lovely bakery! Happy for all the vegetarian options too. We tried the sandwiches (egg and hummus), herbed cheese and vegetable sandwich, a pretzel, rhubarb coffee cake, iced and hot americano. It was really busy but the staff helped everyone quickly while also organizing the pastry case so it looked appealing. Coffee was made well too. Seating is a little limited but it seemed to accommodate everyone okay on a really rainy morning. The bread quality is fantastic and all dishes are composed well. The balance of flavors and textures really pleased us after a good workout.

Fluffy cinnamon rolls are very delicious and light not too sugary. The cappuccino is ok but the espresso is not that good. It needs to be more consistent and concentrated. The location is nice and you can set outside in the warm weather. However the trolley was full for returning the empty plates. This can be improved in the future.

When you arrive you can see the line outside the shop because the pastries taste very good. They have plenty of bread and pastries. All of them look very good and you want to take it all. LOL. They also have coffee, tea, and soda. They have 6 tables inside, bar seats inside available for you and if you want to enjoy the sun they have 4 tables outside as well. You can see through the pastries to see how they can make delicious things. The staffs are nice and friendly. They can speak English very well. The price is reasonable. They have no parking space. The shop is easy to find. The waiting time is around 3-5 min. You can use the card and cash.

Highly recommend! The coffee and breakfast burger with egg, reminiscent of an egg sandwich, were delicious! I also tried the cinnamon apple roll, which was very good and generously portioned—enough for two people.

This Starbucks is very nice with friendly staff. Unfortunately it has the most ridiculous prices ever. To pay 7.48 euro for a Matcha Latte is far too expensive . It’s even more than what you have to pay in Switzerland for the same drink . Get your franchise prices in order !!!!

Scammed by Starbucks personal Amit. Saw their bundle (grande drink + bread) for 8.99€. Asked if they can upgrade this bundle to a venti drink (+50ct at any Starbucks). Note, I particulary stated I wanted the bundle. Amit agreed he could. Was shocked to see I paid 13.38€ instead. So the grande to venti upgrade was ONLY 4.50€ like WHAT BULLSHIT EXCUSE YATTA YATTA YATTA Will forwards this situation to management too.

Terrible experience (how can buying a coffee go bad?). Never seen someone who cares less about their job. They were ready to take my money but not ready to make my coffee for another 15 minutes. It's a train station. If the machines aren't ready then why open up?

Worse customer service I have ever experienced. They had an offer of cake and coffee for 8.79€ but tried to charge me extra when I complained they told me to take it or leave it and were very rude. Despite the sign. Unacceptable.

Breakfast okay, not amazing. Terribly rude kitchen staff. There are no order numbers or table numbers, so they just yell loose plates and drinks out loud. Be careful, go to soon thinking it’s yours: they scream rudely at you. Go too late because you don’t know if it’s your turn this time: they are angry again… Horrible atmosphere, never going back

To eat breakfast here you would always get what is really fresh tasty, and fairly priced for the quality. I would recommend it.

It's a bakery with all kind of bread, pastry and snacks. The staff was amazing and very nice. It's a small cozy place with super delicious food and drinks hot and cold. I had a sandwich with salmon arugula and egg, a salad on the side and a latte machiatto with chocolate on top. Very delicious!!! If you looking for a nice breakfast or brunch place or just some nice coffee then this is definitely the spot! I will be back 😏

Wow! The sandwiches and pastries at this ship are DELICIOUS. My husband and I both ordered sandwiches and we shared a pastry. The prices were very affordable ($11.00 for our entire lunch). The sales staff were super friendly and the shop looked very clean. I hope we can return before leaving Frankfurt.

I recently visited this café. The cafe is very spacious and had pleasant atmosphere. They had great variety of snacks. I tried their Marmorkuchen and Cappuccino, both were really good.

Save your money. The pastries taste like day olds and are much less flavor full than you are expecting. The staff was busy doing other things despite there being an increasingly long line. Pick another bakery.

Wish I read the reviews before I picked up a croissant. Terrible service, and didn't taste fresh despite being mid morning. Edit: I should point out that they are actually two Le Crobag stands in the station. The smaller one close to the way to the U-Bahn is the worst and the one upon which my review above was based. But the larger one is not much better in terms of product quality, although the service was better it could still be considered below average.

9/13 I think this is not my first time having LE CROBAG. It’s been a long day since I came to Germany last time, abt 5yrs. As a traveler from Taiwan, I think the food and coffee are quite good. It tastes delicious even it’s cold. I’m really into it. I would try different things tmrw.

Small little indian lady acted like im blind and deaf BECAUSE I WAS WAITING THE CUSTOMER IN FRONT OF ME TO PICK UP HIS MONEY AND LEAVE But no the very rude started making suggestions and remarks abiut me wearing headphones terrible service. The service was abysmal. I arrived right at 7, when they open. I was running to a work meeting, and to see if they were open, I knocked on the door, as it was locked. The shopkeeper rudely gestured at me to go away, but I'd already waited a while, so I stayed. When she finally opened the door, she released a stream of angry German at me, and remained annoyed throughout the interaction. I speak enough German to know it wasn't kind, but not enough to pass as local. I got my delicious pastry and left, but it was not a pleasant encounter. This is by far the worst café I’ve ever been to in terms of customer service. First, the owner wouldn’t let us pay by credit card. This lady belongs in a Disney movie as an over emphatic villain. You’d think you’d pay a lower price with horrible service like this, but no, it was expensive.

Very disappointing experience. We were after a nice brunch on a Sunday morning near our hotel (because we needed to catch a train) and literally called the place in order to know if they were open. They said on the phone there was plenty of room to welcome us so we walked there (20mins) and when we got to the place, we were refused entry because the place was apparently privatized for a party (at 10:45 on a Sunday morning). The place was empty, they were so many available tables for us, even on the outside terrace, but they just refused to serve us. I don’t recommend this place unless you have time to waste.

The guy server who attended me was very cheerful, positive, approachable, and friendly. He greets customers with a smile. They have a passworded free wifi for customers. Croissant tastes good. Cappuccino okay. They have a toilet as well. Additionally, server can speak English so non-Germans who cannot speak Deutsch wouldn’t have to worry about miscommunication.

The friendliest cafe. We got our son’s first birthday cake from here. And that was exactly what I asked for. We also got black forest cake which was divine. And today we came for short breakfast with my 22 months old son for some good vibes. Its so peaceful and soothing.

Everything is just perfect, the coffee is really good, the service is top notch but the icing for me was the unexpected "dulce de leche" in their cake. Which is self made in house, so yeah, worth the visit each and every time.

I enjoyed getting away from the rush of downtown and walking to this great little bakery before starting a busy day of sightseeing at Gruneburgpark and Goethe University. Tucked away in a quaint little neighborhood, the local residents must enjoy knowing they have this little secret nearby.

I’m glad we found this place after a frantic weekend of walking around the city. The matcha latte was bold, tasty and with just the right amount of creaminess to complement the green tea. The pastries are baked in-house and we’re done beautifully. I ordered the lemon meringue pie and it was fresh, zesty and hit the spot. The barista was warm, friendly and very welcoming. This is a great independent coffee shop and highly recommended if you’re near Messe or the Skyline plaza. Only a short walk away from both.

I love this place since my first time there. The food is delicious and freshly made, staff is polite (and can speak english) and it is not expensive at all. I always have lots of requests and they attend everything I require. My only point is that the coffee in the latte can be improved.

We looked for a place which was open on a Sunday. They had a buffet but let us choose a la cart. The croissants 🥐 unfortunately were very small and not fresh. I think they come pre frozen and then are just baked (would not have expected that). The butter was so hard that you could not use it for the croissant without completely destroying it.
