Casa Bigote is a charming spot located in Sanlucar de Barrameda, offering a relaxed atmosphere and serving a variety of seafood dishes and local cuisine. The restaurant is run by the Hermoso family, spanning three generations, adding to its authentic appeal. Visitors can enjoy their meal on the terrace or at the bar while taking in the lively ambiance. The establishment has garnered praise for its succulent and flavorful seafood dishes that are expertly prepared.
The first floor dining room with sea view was amazing. Most dishes were tasty and fresh, but the cooked prawns (langostinos cocidos) were clearly the best.

Get there early to get a place at the bar. No need to reserve at the restaurant to have amazing food. We will go back for the ova and the buñuelos! The prices for the fried fish are really good for the quantity and quality. My wife loved the cazuela and it was so filling!
Benjamin — Google review
You can tell how good this place is by the queue for the unbookable outside tapas tables. They get claimed well before the place even opens. We booked ahead and ate in the restaurant. Food was exceptional and service also spot on. Not to be missed if you are in Sanlucar.
John W — Google review
Great seafood/produce. We had tomato salad with fresh tuna, the famous Sanlucar shrimp (boiled and eaten cold), mixed fried seafood, and yogurt ice cream. Simple and satisfying.
Sevgi Y — Google review
We sat at the bar and ordered mostly fish tapas as the restaurant was fully booked. We were in Andalucia for 10 days and this was probably the best food we had with amazing value for money. Everything we had was very tasty and the price was almost unbelievably low. 100% recommended.

Incredible value for money in a historic bar with very friendly staff. We didn’t sit in the restaurant but had tapas in the bar, best place we visited in sanlucar

Very good food. Quality ingredients and produce. Very fine olive oil, and seafood. We repeated on the same trip twice. Try the Cod Burgers, langostinos and Corvina.

Tapas bar
Tragatá is a modern and stylish restaurant in Ronda, known for its creative take on traditional Spanish dishes. The menu offers a variety of tapas options that combine local flavors with global influences, such as squid sandwiches and pork ears.
Out of all the incredible meals we had during our trip through southern Spain , this one stood out as an absolute favorite. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and had a refreshing creative twist. The appetizers set the tone beautifully—particularly the salmon with lime, which struck the perfect balance between vibrant acidity and delicate richness. It was a simple yet elevated start that immediately impressed us. Then came the squid sandwich, which was nothing short of spectacular. The squid itself was tender and flavorful, but what truly made the dish unforgettable was the bun—warm, freshly baked, and wonderfully soft. It brought everything together in the most satisfying way. The pork with cream and mushrooms was equally memorable. Rich, savory, and perfectly cooked, it was comfort food elevated to something truly special. Finally, the fried sea bass was a standout. Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, it was a flawless execution of a classic dish. The dessert definitely added an icing to the cake. Mango sorbet mixed with a spicy sauce was very savory! Highly recommended to anyone visiting the region
Nikhil C — Google review
Glad we found and booked this restaurant. My friend was joking that we have been eating Spanish food continuously and may get bored by now. The food here is out of ordinary and one of the best in our Southern Spain trip. Everything is good and can’t stop thinking of the dessert. Will be back soon to try more food.
Kimberly O — Google review
Wonderful restaurant with truly amazing food. All the dishes we ordered were outstanding, very flavourful. The vibe of the place is easygoing but also elevated. Definitely recommended if you're a foodie.

Had a late dinner at Tragata and there was just a short wait. Food was delicious especially squid sandwich and fried sea bass. The artichoke was nicely cooked as well. The flavors were of a good mix and we liked it.

What a delight to find this place! This was my best dinner in Spain so far after almost 20 days here. The mussels were absolutely devine and the best I've ever had. I can't wait to go here for lunch tomorrow. Recommended 100%

Was supposed to be the “low-key” version of the 2-Michelin star bigger brother across the street , and don’t get me wrong food was good. But I didn’t get any special vibe. Inside interior are nice we but sat outside, so less cosy. Ordered burger for the kids but order got messed up and ended up waiting more than hour.

Fabulous restaurant, Benito Gómez also has the two star Michelin restaurant just over the road. The food was Devine and the staff very helpful. YOU MUST BOOK if you want to ensure a table.

Food was fine. The bone marrow was very undercooked. The Russian salad was really good. Service really lacked though. The man with mustache was sour and dismissive from the moment we walked in.

Tapas bar

Tavern
Bar La Tranca is a traditional tavern in Malaga, popular among locals and visitors alike. The bar's old-fashioned decor and lively atmosphere make it a must-visit spot to experience the vibrant street life of La Merced. The owner, Ezequiel, serves vermouth, sweet wines, and homemade tapas to patrons in a chaotic yet charming setting. The walls are adorned with classic Spanish album covers while the bar itself exudes an airy and light ambiance.
La Tranca is the perfect place for tapas — lively atmosphere, friendly service, and amazing food. The flavors are authentic, the portions generous, and the vibe makes you feel like a true local. A must-visit spot!
Ling P — Google review
This was a very popular and lively bar when we visited. The atmosphere was great, the music was loud and the singing was really bad, we loved it. There's the usual selection of tapas but we were there just for drinks. We had some really nice sweet sherry and nice cold beer, just what we needed in the heat of the day. The bill was added-up in chalk on the bar, something we've seen in other bars. A very authentic Spanish tapas bar with lots of character, well worth a visit.
Lee W — Google review
A Local Gem in Malaga – Bar La Tranca I almost don't want to write this review, just to keep this place a bit of a secret for the locals. But credit where credit’s due. Bar La Tranca was hands-down our favorite spot to eat and drink in Málaga. We ended up coming here five times during our six-day stay, and honestly, nothing else quite measured up. The Highs: Staff: The women running the bar are absolute pros. Even when the place was packed (which it often was), they somehow managed to stay on top of everything — drinks, food, service — all with a smile and an energy that was genuinely fun to watch. There’s clearly a strong sense of teamwork behind the bar, and it shows. Food: Every dish we tried was a hit. Personal favorites: the rabo de toro, pincho de langostino, pincho de chorizo, and gildas. One miss — and totally our fault — was the toasta de melva. Neither of us are fans of tuna, and we didn’t realize that’s what it was. Chalk it up to our rusty Spanish. Drinks: The Victoria beer on tap was ice cold and just right after a day of walking the city. My partner loved the vermut, and there was a sangria-like drink she ordered a few times that we still can’t remember the name of, but it was delicious. Great local wine options too. Whether you’re into beer, wine, or cocktails, there’s something here for you. Ambiance: This is exactly how I imagined a true Andalusian tapas bar to feel. Music loud enough to set the mood, but not so loud you can’t talk. Even when it’s crowded (and it will be), it never feels chaotic. It’s warm, intimate, and just has that special vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. La Tranca is a happy place. The Lows: Honestly? None come to mind.
Rob L — Google review
Very busy local place with menu all in Spanish - a bit daunting to walk in but the staff was welcoming and the food so tasty!! Especially loved the pork (magro al Pedro Ximénez), jamón croquetas, and super refreshing vino dulce de Barril. Thank you for the great vibes!
J Y — Google review
The atmosphere is noisy and crowded, however cozy and friendly. I tried two tapas, and both were delicious. You might have trouble finding a seat, so luck is a factor. But the taste of tapas and atmosphere are super wonderful. This place is also recommendation of my friend who lives in Malaga.
M. Z — Google review
Authentic taverna experience in Spain, great energy, everybody happy, owner singing, warm service, good food, for sure you will leave happy and full of energy! It’s a bit more towards a bar, than a restaurant, but food is good enough, and can have some dishes in smaller tapas servings. Order at the bar. Definitely would repeat, had some tapas, some biger plates as well for 2 and couple of drinks each, check was 48, very decent We went for lunch, around 13, and it was already almsot full on a Monday in October - but managed to find a table.
Bogdan D — Google review
Best experience in MÁLAGA! If you are looking for the real Spanish tapas bar go for it! The bartender MARTA made the experience even better. Welcoming and attentive, she recomend us what to eat and to drink, and we couldn't ask for more. Not easy to find a seat but the turnover of customers is high so you just have to be a bit patient but it's totally worth it!
Susanna M — Google review
Fantastic little bar in central Málaga. Was a bit worried when we entered as it was really busy but we were shown to a free table and proceeded to order. We ordered way too much food but luckily it was all delicious. The bravas sauce had a real kick, the steak in Pedro Ximenez was tender and the sauce sweet and rich and the two toasties were both great - particularly the salmon. With two drinks each our meal was less than €50. Atmosphere and service were both top notch. Would definitely recommend visiting here when in Malaga.

Tapas bar
Restaurant
Bar Casa Morales is a historic family-run tavern in Seville, dating back to 1850. The cozy establishment offers traditional tapas, sherry, and Spanish wines. The bar features high-ceilinged spaces with antique charm, including a wooden-barrel serving area and a backroom surrounded by massive antique wine vats from its winery origins. Popular tapas include the melt-in-your-mouth carrillada, albondigas, and croquetas.
This place did not disappoint! We arrived very late (3:30pm) just before closing time so most of the day's menu was finished, so in the end I asked the waiter what they had left, and everything was perfect! We had oxtail, pork tripe with chickpeas stew, fried cod and a salmon toasty. Such a random combo but definitely left satiated. We ordered everything tapas size, and although they were closing up at 4pm, they told us to enjoy and go slowly (no need to rush). Highly recommend!
Lily L — Google review
At first glance, Bar Casa Morales can feel a bit chaotic – it's one of those places where you seat yourself as soon as a table becomes free. But that initial hustle is part of its charm. Once you're settled, the atmosphere is buzzing and authentic. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and offering suggestions that didn’t disappoint. All the food was wonderful, but the standout dish was definitely the meatballs – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A must-try if you're visiting. We left full and happy. Highly recommend for a traditional and lively tapas experience.
Kristie P — Google review
Before the bar was opened, there was already a queue lining up. We waited for quite some time before we get to be seated. The restaurant was divided into 2 parts. Front part, which we were seated, and back part, where i found out later on, when i was using the toilet. The toilet located between those 2 parts. The interior was charming and shown that the restaurant was an old establishment which survive for a long time. For lunch we had; Pringas was falvorful & tasty Vermut was sweet and strong Pulpo was tender & well seasoned Patatas bravas was deep fried thinly slices potatoes served with their special sauce. The food and drink were so good. They really earned the 5 star rating.
Karina A — Google review
A charming, authentic tapas bar with a great local vibe. Everything we ordered—from the tapas to the drinks—was delicious. It can be a little tricky to navigate as a tourist, but the staff were kind and helpful in guiding us through.
Kunal D — Google review
One of the best restaurants I ate at during my vacation. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were one of the first customers. There is a deceptively difficult to find dining area entrance around the corner separate from the storefront bar. Service was quick and friendly. Staff spoke English and Spanish. The decor had character- there are these large floor to ceiling pots lining the room which have the (Spanish) menus written on them, and I believe they used to store alcohol. Most importantly, the tapas were delicious.
Adriann L — Google review
Authentic Southern Spain tapas with a great atmosphere. Priced well and quality food. Waiters are bustling but you will have to flag them down. Lunch kitchen closes at 3:30 and doors close 4pm on the dot.
Josh T — Google review
If you want to avoid tourists this is the place to go. Majority of the patrons were local so you can definitely tell that this place is good. The food is absolutely delicious. Rabo de Toro is the most delicious I've ever had.

Very good, authentic, busy bar with excellent tapas. The best of 4 tapas bars we tried in the city. Reasonably priced too. Javier served us - helpful and quick.

Aponiente is a renowned fine-dining destination known for its multi-course menus, wine pairings, and innovative seafood creations. Owned by Angel Leon and led by Head Chef Juan Luis Fernandez, this three Michelin-starred restaurant showcases a dedication to lesser-known fish varieties like Herring, Pollock, and ling. The modern dining room offers two tasting menus focused on seafood, including a 27-course option.
Top 3 restaurants i have ever been to. Simply wow! Beyond perfect service from Ana and Cristina! Such down to earth beautiful people. The food was surprising and of the highest quality. Beautiful venue and what more could i ask for. Love it!
Omar A — Google review
Incredible innovation, very disappointing menu. Most dishes one was impressed with what they've done (everything comes from the sea for example, everything) but then in the mouth it was mediocre or even pretty bad in some examples. There's an obsession with plankton and sea elements that are just not tasty at all. The deserts in particular I felt were a bit of an insult being a 3 star michelin. They were just sugar with stuff, we didn't finish them. Place is amazing, service is good, and the experience is special. However, I wouldn't come back, nor really recommend anyone to go for that price. Wine pairing was really well done, we enjoyed it the most probably.
Marc L — Google review
If you like restaurants that challenge your perceptions of flavors and make you think, then Aponiente is the spot. You will taste and eat things from the sea you’ve never thought to, or even knew were edible. Great, new, and unique tastes and textures. There were certainly some bold new flavors that I loved and a few that I didn’t like at all - but I was just as glad to try those as well because they offered a new perspective of what is possible and what you may sync with. Service was kind and attentive and professional. They were detail oriented and timely in their staging. This restaurant is well deserved in its recognition. I would recommend.
N M — Google review
Dinner at Aponiente is probably one of the top 5 dining experiences in my life. I don't have the skill to properly describe just how wonderful everything was, but it was everything that we hoped for. The staff and service were perfect (Muchas gracias to Ana, Susana, and the sommelier Juan Gabriel!). The dining room was serene, beautiful, relaxed, and felt private and intimate. Each dish was an incredible, surprising balance of flavors. Simply delightful! We were very happy that we ordered the wine pairing with local wines, because we got an outstanding introduction to many excellent sherries which we had never had before. Now, we better appreciate what sherries have to offer. Thank you to the entire staff at Aponiente for making my wife's birthday such a special, unforgettable occasion.
Jim M — Google review
When I booked it, I was not very excited because a menu fully inspired in the ocean sounds very specific, but I was surprised with every single dish prepared. All were pure sophistication, balance, delicacy, and novelty. The flavors were original and extremely delicious. Beyond the science, the technology, the artistry of each dish, it is the soul of Aponiente. All dishes are made with purpose, and are memorable.
Marcos P — Google review
An absolute experience of a life time. Angel Leon surprises with every step of the way. Exquisite dishes and unique flavors. Only geniuses can attempt to make butter out of plankton and succeed at it. Great staff and service!!
Umut A — Google review
"Imagine there’s no land… and you just can live and nourish yourself from the sea. That is APONIENTE" The phrase on their website and advertising rings very true, and after seeing many interviews and written pieces about Chef León and his crew, I really needed to go and see what the hype was all about. If I was curious before, I'm OBSESSED now. From before you have even entered the property until your last steps back out onto the street, the staff at Aponiente treat you like Kings and Queens. But even better, because I think they were more fun with us than they might be with the King! For a 3 Michelin Star restaurant, Aponiente is so very relaxed in its atmosphere. Unpretentious and comfortable, even as your every whim is attended to. We had such a fabulous sommelier (Juan Gabriel) presenting each pairing with a huge smile, and his descriptions and stories of the wines felt like he had created each one himself - the pride and the joy of his job shined through the whole evening. Ana was our main server and she just dazzled us with well placed jokes and her super warm personality. You have a whole team of staff through the meal, and I really love the feeling of a ship's crew that exists through the gorgeous building. Oh you probably wanted to know about the food, too! Absolute insanity. Chef León is a creative genius. You should know the whole menu (18 courses in the one I had) is created from the sea. The starting rounds, the main round, and the desserts are ALL marine-ingredient dishes. I really liked 15, 2 were OK, and 1 I did not like or finish. Those are amazing odds with an 18 course ocean-only menu! I have photos of everything attached. We started our visit greeted outside the main doors, and were first led into a lounge for our opening Möet and 4 starter bites. We had the "Non Plus Ultra" pairing package which includes more upscale pairings, and they have other packages as well. On the way into the main dining room, we were given a tour of the building - I won't spoil it, but it's got history, and so much character and charm. I WILL give you photos of the menu and the dishes, because as I write this they are 1 week away from closing for the 2025 season, and when they return after the holidays the menu will be completely different from what I am posting. So my photos won't matter, as they won't be repeated - and I'll for sure be returning next year. Lucky me... I live in the same city as the restaurant!
Nikki M — Google review
A top notch experience. Staff were exceptional and food was great as well. Great to see the different ways the ocean can be made into so many delicious dishes. Bummed they didn’t do the salt cooking table side but maybe it’ll make a come back with something new. Came hungry and left full.

Bar El Convento is a charming restaurant located in the residential streets of Barrio San Francisco, near an old convent. The small but vibrant eatery offers a quirky interior adorned with diverse art and musical instruments. One unique feature is a train that circles the ceiling when the bar achieves its financial goal for the evening. The welcoming team serves reasonably-priced, delectable tapas presented with artistic flair.
Great tasty Tapas! Little one for 2€ and plates to share for 8-12€, like the fantastic mango-avocado-shrimp plate. The Restaurant was full and busy and therefore we had to wait quite long.

What a gem! Not only was the food delicious, the presentation made me feel like I was in a Michelin rated restaurant instead of a local eatery. We ate two of the specials: a mango, shrimp and avocado salad to start then pork picaña.

Loved Bar El Converto! Had one of our favorite dishes in Spain at this restaurant - Tartar de aguacate y langostinos (avocado with shrimp and mango). Incredible presentation with amazing flavor. Also enjoyed the Alcachofas aliñadas (artichokes). Delicious artichokes in olive oil with olives and little bits of what tasted like bacon. The woman who was our waitress or perhaps the manager was extremely friendly, giving us suggestions on what to order. She brought out a great red wine that was my favorite I’ve had in Spain - “A Pasos Roble 2019”, from Ronda. We also got a small sweet wine after dinner drink that was fun to end the meal. The location is a bit out of town but totally worth the walk. Will come here again the next time we are in Ronda.

Best meal we have had so far in our Spain trip! Although it’s a bit far away from the center, the deliciousness of the food worths the walk and the time! The taste of the dishes is beyond words, especially the “lamb skewer” and “the leek and shrimp tissues”. We would like to revisit sometime in the future🥹
Tiffany W — Google review
Nice restaurant hidden in the other side of the town. The scallop and prawn tapa, and the avocado tartar were simply stunning and delicious - even a bit too stunning as there was quite a lot ongoing. But nevertheless, the scallops were perfectly cooked and the avocado worked well with sweet onion and fruits. We had also snails, but they were snails and my friend likes them. They were really busy and apologized about it, but we were not bothered due to their extreme friendliness.

We had Presa Ibérica and Revuelto de Patatas con Chorizo y Morcilla, and 2 tapas, more than enough for the three of us and delicious. Good value for money. Nice decoration and very nice and charming people.

Fabulous!!! Beautiful presentation of stunningly designed tapas and raciones... fresh, tasty, zingy, and Spanish with pizazz and flair! Small and intimate, nice outside space, just can't fault the service, the staff, and ohhh the chefs. Gracias.

Nestled in the charming residential area of El Barrio de San Francisco, Terraza Bar El Barrio is a delightful local gem that should be on every food lover's radar when visiting Ronda. This inviting spot, located just across from Bar El Convento, offers a warm atmosphere where you can enjoy hearty meals crafted by Cristobal, the owner and skilled butcher.
We came across this place by chance one evening as we walked away from the main tourist spots. From the outside, this place looked like a typical neighbourhood bar serving the familiar locals, and we weren't sure they were serving food. One of the owners (assuming mum) noticed us contemplating through the window and invited us in, sat us down, and told us there was no menu as such. Instead, there was the daily tapas, a choice of a mushroom or tomato starter, and then, for mains, a plate of meat cooked on a charcoal served with homemade fried potatoes. So along with our drink came a choice of tapas. We opted for a Russian salad and, in my opinion, quite the best one I've sampled so far in my 6 years of travelling Andalusia. For starters, we both chose the mushroom dish... which was sublime!! A single fresh, stuffed mushroom lightly coated and fried, drizzled with a sweet glaze and topped with crispy onions, aioli, and what I can only describe as a sprinkle of magic. The flavour and texture were incredible. As we waited for our main dish, we were served three variations of the local sausage, which we were beautifully balanced in flavour and cooked perfectly. For mains, the meat of the day was shoulder of pork. Served on a bed of hand-cut patatas fritas, small slices of expertly char grilled meat. Tender, juicy, full of flavour, and simply irresistible. All of the above was served with friendly, authentic charm. Do not assume this place doesn't deserve a visit simply because it may look 'local' from the outside. It's exactly what you should be sampling when visiting the gem that is Ronda.

We have been visiting Ronda for years and this place is our favourite. Relaxed, friendly and authentic. The owners are very personable and great with our young children. The meat has a lovely taste from the wood BBQ. Real Homely feel to the place.

The food was really delicious and service was extremely good! The chefs were friendly and made us feel like home. Mushroom was so so good. The best mushroom dish ever!! Meat was also good Everybody in the restaurant were happy and enjoying their time. They all helped us to find a taxi😂 I will definitely come back.
Poppy K — Google review
While spending our time in Ronda, I conducted a review of Spanish barbecue establishments and this place was a standout. We decided to try it. First... no menus. The place only seems to have one meal plan. Starts with a little ant paste and bread. Then a tomato salad, followed by a fried mushroom. From that, a sampling of sausages. Once completed with that, the entree of grilled meats (pork, beef and ribs) on top of a mound of fries. All items were excellent. The meat needed nothing. Cooked to perfection. Lastly, they wanted to finish up with a dessert, but we were too full to enbib, so they presented us with several liquors :). There was a language struggle as English was very limited, but all worked out. When it was time to depart we asked for a taxi to be called for us, none were available. The female hostess gave us a ride back to our hotel. So nice. While riding back she took us on small tour of the town we did not previously see. In closing. If you want some awesome Spanish barbacoa while while in Ronda, I give this place an A+!

El Pimpi is a must-visit in Malaga, known as an iconic meeting place for locals and tourists alike. Established in 1971 within an 18th-century mansion, it is surrounded by significant historical and cultural landmarks such as the Alcazaba, Roman Theatre, Picasso Museum, and Plaza de la Merced. This historic winery offers a taste of local gastronomy and wines while immersing visitors in the tradition and culture of southern Spain.
This is a truly special place. We arrived a bit early, as it can get very busy, and I’m glad we did. The service was spot on—absolutely nothing more we could have asked for. And the food… what can I say? It was amazing! Generous portions and incredible flavor made for a perfect meal. Highly recommended. Special mention to Javi that works there and recommended what to eat. We'll be back!
Dan A — Google review
We had dinner at El Pimpi and were excited to experience one of Málaga’s most iconic spots. The atmosphere is undeniably charming—vibrant, full of character, and beautifully located in the heart of the old town. The restaurant was packed, and while that’s a good sign, it did affect the service. We only saw our waiter when he took our order, and another brought us the bill, which made it feel a bit impersonal. We shared the Mediterranean salad, and tried both the sea bream and the chicken. The dishes arrived hot and fresh, which we appreciated. The flavours were a bit on the mild side—not bland in a bad way, but definitely understated. That said, we’d rather season our own food than be overwhelmed by salt. Overall, the food was good, but not particularly memorable. You come here more for the experience and ambiance than for a standout culinary moment. Worth a visit if you want to soak in the local vibe, but maybe not a place we’d rush back to for the food alone.

An Unforgettable Experience at El Pimpi! Everything about El Pimpi was absolutely perfect from start to finish! Located in the heart of Málaga, this iconic restaurant truly lives up to its legendary reputation. The atmosphere is electric yet charming, with Andalusian soul pouring from every corner — from the beautiful decor and historic photos to the buzzing terrace with views of the Alcazaba. The service was flawless — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server made excellent recommendations and made us feel like VIPs throughout the meal. Now, the food… WOW. Every dish was a celebration of flavor and quality. The jamón ibérico was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the seafood incredibly fresh, and the local specialties like the salmorejo and fried eggplant with honey were just divine. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. We paired our meal with a glass (or two!) of Málaga wine straight from their legendary barrels — a must! El Pimpi is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience, a story, and a love letter to Málaga’s culture. We’ll be dreaming about this place until we return. 10/10 – Highly recommended!

This bar is apparently 49% owned by Antonio Banderas. It seems to be a collection of spaces, including two indoor areas and the outside covered Terrace that we enjoyed. We were part of a bus tour that was doing a Malaga wine tasting. The wine was fantastic and came with some olives and chips. Many of our group stayed for a meal and said it was superb. It situation in the old town is perfect as it is directly in front of the old Roman amphitheatre. It’s a great place for a drink to sit and watch the crowds go by and enjoy some quality Spanish wine and food.

Busy Busy Busy at 7: PM. Managed to get a table for 1 inside. Great food. The servers really hustle and do a great job. Very picturesque interior with various rooms, including (at least 1) barroom that was vacant upon my arrival but bustling by 8:15. I came specifically for the ajoblanco and it was very good with a seasonal fruit sorbet. Be prepared! The menu is only available through QR code but it does have a handy (necessary?) feature that you can check off what you want and it will translate it for the waiter. The waiter tried to tell me that I was ordering too much, which I appreciate but I went ahead anyway.

Went to this Bodega as we were looking for a place to eat lunch and have a rest. We were able to get a seat on the patio and service was prompt and efficient. Experienced tapas and Aperol as a light refreshing cocktail for lunch. We ordered the Calamari and potato wedges and they were delicious 😋. Definitely a place to be at in Malaga. Worth the visit.

Super delicious food and wine and historical nice interior. You can enjoy your meal with Alcazaba view. Don’t expect a very good service, you need to pay attention to catch the waitresses. Due to very good food and the view, we visited the place multiple times.

You absolutely must book in advance, as it fills up very quickly. The “Bodega” has different areas; if you prefer a quieter one, I recommend "El Palomar." The waiters were very friendly despite how busy the place was. The food is absolutely delicious and cheaper than at other places we visited in Spain.

Espacio Eslava is a modern apartment complex situated above a trendy tapas bar and restaurant in Seville. The tapas bar is highly recommended and popular among locals, offering delicious dishes such as pork ribs with honey sauce, croquettes, and award-winning cheese emulsion on tomato bread with anchovies and olives. The lively atmosphere of the bar makes it an ideal spot to enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine.
I had some of the most amazing food here. I will say right off the bat, if you want to sit at a table, a reservation ahead of time is a must. It’s not a large restaurant, but the space is well organized and feels cozy. We got started with some bread and olives and beans. As for food, we got the salmorejo which is creamier version of a gazpacho and perfect on a hot day. The jamon was also the best I’ve ever had - the meat was rich and nutty and I just wanted to eat the whole plate by myself. Another highlight for me was the foie micuit which was also the richest and most savoury toast ever. Also if you do come here, make sure to order their signature dish which is the squid cigar. It was one of the most interesting dishes ever with complex flavours that I can’t quite describe. It was a bit sweet, savoury, and had a hint of seafood flavour. We also got some pork ribs and cheeks and they were also some of my favourite pork I’ve had in recent memory. Overall, the service was top notch, food was world class, and I would love to visit again when I come back to Seville!

This meal was the best of our 5 day trip in Seville. Upscale with great service (which we found rare in Seville) and great food. You need to make sure you book as the dining room fills up fast. Steak and honey ribs were our favourite.

Visiting Seville for a weekend trip with my friend, who had spoken highly about her previous experiences at this establishment. Unfortunately, our visit today did not reflect this. Despite having reserved a table, we had to first wait to be acknowledged before immediately being sent away as they did not have space for us. Their demeanour quickly changed once they realised we had in fact booked, and they led us inside. We had reserved a table outside, but were happy to be sat down at all. The restaurant was completely empty. We had to ask for each item we ordered multiple times and follow up on their arrival. Then half of our order never arrived and my friend was left without any food. After following up they informed us they had actually ran out of the multiple food items she had ordered over an hour ago. She left hungry. Women’s bathroom also does not have a lock. Would not recommend.

An absolute must if you’re in Sevilla! The best meal of our entire 10 day trip. Everything was outstanding: the service, the atmosphere, and most of all, the food. We ordered the dishes highlighted on the menu followed by the server’s recommendations — every single one was a hit. The flavors and presentation were unique, with a creative twist that made the experience truly special. It gets busy for a reason, so definitely make a reservation. You won’t regret it! Must try… Charlota de calabacín.

A great place where you can try local food. The crowd was so big that we hardly found a place at least at bar. Which turned out to be a great thing, because the gentleman who served us was very interesting and very helpful. Although I speak little Spanish, I understood everything and it was very interesting to me. So much so that I didn't even bother to order anything, I just let him present the tapas that are the specialties of the house. It was delicious. I especially liked the Montadito de Pringa and Carillada. I would love to go back to this place. All recommendations.

Tapas are great price, sangria (red) is delicious - homemade! Enjoy

Real local vibe to this place. Not overpriced like others in the main street. All the dishes were really tasty, not a bland plate in sight. Been to Seville many times, but first time here. But it won't be my last.

Go to for cheap tasty tapas. Get the pork cheeks, anchovies, and calamari! Also the pork with whiskey sauce is delicious. Pringa nothing special, a little dry. We would pass on the cod fritters - mostly batter, but everything else was delicious. Friendly, funny staff!
Bill D — Google review
We were lucky to grab a table quick around 12:30. We each ordered a Chicken in broth with potato and bread tapa, which was tasty, and the chicken was tender, cooked well and fell from the bone. I had a glass of sangria and it was cool and refreshing on a warm day. This is in a tourist hot spot so I’m not sure it is a local feel, but it was close to where we were. The only negative has little to do with the establishment and that is the smokers were pretty heavy there the day we went.

Bodegas Castañeda is a storied eatery with a bohemian ambiance and outdoor seating, dating back to 1927. Located in the heart of Granada along Calle Almireceros, this classic haunt offers sensational homemade Vermouth and wine served from wooden wall-mounted barrels. The traditional bar features floor-to-ceiling barrels of wine, drawing visitors into a treasure trove of fine local cuisine.
Best traditional, authentic tapas restaurant we visited in Granada, the free starter, rice, saffron, and vegetable stew was a pointer that was to come. But the sharing boards are amazing. The three centre bowls on the board are incredible dishes. We paired this amazing food with a superb local bottle of Calvente wine. definitely don't miss out on this eating experience when in Granada.

Traditional Andalusian restaurant. Tasty dishes but I ate better tortilla, except this all other was very good and well prepared. The restaurant is crowded and noisy for me it wasn't a problem, you can feel local atmosphere. If you sit beside toilet you can feel detergents that is not favorable. The staff was quick and well coordinated.

Best meal in Spain so far! The oxtail was amazing! So tender and savoury. Service was super quick even though there’s a line. You can go straight to the bar to skip the line. There’s a charge for bread they automatically bring to the table, but the bread was really good with the oxtail. Pricing was also very fair. We didn’t try other dishes so I cannot comment on those. But the place was busy with both tourists and locals so that’s definitely a good sign.
C D — Google review
It’s a popular authentic old tapas bar. Expensive and food is average. Take a seat outdoor with 10% service charge. Even though you not order the bread but it will count on you. I visited on Thursday but too crowded inside the bar, only could take a seat outdoor, feel stressed and pushy. There’s lot of good tapas bar and I will not return. P.s. : Comment on other review with free tapa but seems like there’s no luck to me even I order 3 glass of wine.

Had a wonderful evening at Bodegas Castaneda last night, we popped in for a drink and became immersed in the atmosphere and the unexpected benefit of free Tapas. It’s a great traditional bar that serves nice food, so you do have to grab the waiter or bar man’s attention and be patient. Was a lovely evening and great value.

A bit disappointed by this restaurant especially after having tasted other very good restaurants in Granada. Bodegas Castaneda is often recommended as the most authentic and local restaurant in Granada and there is often a short queue to have a table. The food however is average, nothing exceptional except for the Rabo de toro which was simply exceptional and delicious. I suggest to try other restaurants in Granada first before trying this one

Very disappointing experience. We saw this place on a recommended tapas place so we went… but totally ruined the night. The waiter who seemed to be the manager, Jose was so rude and kept making us feel like we were bothering him for ordering drinks… he was sitting down by the stairs smoking and ordering other waiters to do things. We ordered the most expensive Jamon but it was too salty that we couldn’t finish it. Won’t be back.

I recently returned from a vacation in Spain. During my trip to Granada, I had a very unpleasant experience at this establishment. They brought me bread even though I didn't order it. The bread was stale, but they double-charged it on my bill. Imagine my surprise when I ordered a seafood salad and saw finely chopped tuna, peppers, and onions (not exactly fresh), drenched in a huge amount of vegetable oil. I also ordered a Russian salad, which consisted of mashed potatoes with raw potato pieces inside, drizzled with mayonnaise. I found a small piece of wire in the puree. When I showed it to the waiter, he responded, "But it's only one small piece." Honestly, in my 50s, having traveled to many countries around the world, I have never tasted such disgusting food. The waiter laughed at my bewilderment. They serve bad food and behave disgustingly. I will never go there again. I recommend trying other restaurants in Granada first before going here. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED

The restaurant is set in a renovated carmen, featuring fruit trees and tranquil water sounds, creating an oasis with stunning views of the majestic Alhambra. The culinary offerings at El Trillo are a feast for the senses, showcasing artfully presented Mediterranean dishes that celebrate the rich flavors of Spain.
The food was delicious. We took a red wine that was full of flavour. As the mains, we took the risotto with octopus and bolleto mushrooms, it was the best I have ever eaten, the grilled octopus, and the pork with pumpkin puree. I recommend these dishes. The service was friendly and nice. The atmosphere was peaceful, an oasis full of verdure with a fountain in the middle.

The restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is excellent, with beautifully crafted dishes full of flavor. Service is attentive and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s quiet, cozy, and pleasantly not overcrowded. But the real highlight is the atmosphere: a charming courtyard that feels like a hidden escape, and the upper terrace with a stunning view that makes the whole dining experience unforgettable.

e stumbled upon this restaurant by chance whilst exploring the old town in Granada. We had lunch and were so impressed that we made a reservation for an evening meal a few days later on our last evening. Excellent menu with imaginative vegetarian options. Nice wine list, good service, and lovely location with a fabulous view of the Alhambra.

It was the most tender octopus I’ve ever eaten!!!!!! And the waiter (I should’ve asked his name) was so nice to us. We also had the black rice with squid (also super yummy) and the tomato salad (love tomato season). The palace view was superb as well 🥹 It was so chilled. Loved it and thanks 🙏 btw I visited here in August

The food is good but average, the paella is really under cooked. The fish is average, not the best taste and freshness, but can be 4.4/5.0. No service for serving wine nor changing plates. Good view, and nice private atmosphere.

We had such a great time in this peaceful courtyard, surrounded by beautiful plants and the relaxing sound of fountains—it was a treat for both the taste buds and the soul. The food was amazing! We had the wild boar and grilled octopus, and both were super tasty and well presented. You can really feel the love for cooking that Jesús Pernía got from his mom and grandma. The service was also excellent—friendly, warm, and attentive from start to finish. Coming back to try other dishes tonight. There are three different areas to enjoy your meal: the cozy indoor space, the lush garden courtyard, and the terraza with a beautiful view. If you’d like a table with a view of the terraza, we definitely recommend making a reservation in advance—it’s worth it! Thanks so much for the warm hospitality! Lots of love from Ukraine and Romania.

Tucked into the winding streets of the Albacin, far from the bustle of the city center, El Trillo was a lovely find for a calm dinner at sunset. We were seated on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Alhambra. The menu included innovative riffs on classic Andalusian dishes. The Iberian pig cheek was meltingly tender yet rich in taste and the Octopus and boletus risotto beautifully balanced the briny sweetness of the octopus with the earthy tones of the boletus (better known as porcini mushrooms in Italian and English) Service was unhurried but attentive creating a lovely setting for quiet conversation.. Their wine list was thoughtfully curated with a focus on smaller Spanish producers offered more than a few delightful choices. Plan to stay a while to sip a glass of wine, savor the flavors, and bask in the last golden rays of the day!

From El Trillo Restaurante, you get the prime view of Alhambra. Though a restaurant can't trive on views, we found the archetcture of the restaurant was very unique. Upon entering the restaurant, a scented Buddha stature greets you. You can have the garden seating or balcony seatings that can view Alhambra. We chose the latter with the following dishes: Arroz Pulpo, Arroz Negro, and Bacalao a La Plancha. The pan seared cod coupled with fried pumpkins and beans was tender and fresh. To add the flavor, three thinly sliced pork belly (fat) were placed on top of the cod. The octopus risotto and octopus in black rice were something worthy of trying. Personally I like the black rice octopus. The octopus risotto was too rich in butter and cream. The sangria was a little bit too dry and not fruity enough. One final tip is to spread some mosquitoes repellent before you go there. Because while you dine, the buggers will also have their meals.

Restaurante El Churrasco in Córdoba is a traditional Spanish restaurant located in the heart of the Juderia. The restaurant offers a variety of local specialties, including grilled meats and fresh seafood. With more than 50 years of history, it has expanded to include themed dining rooms and a bespoke bodega for tastings. Guests can enjoy alfresco dining on the inner patio or upper-floor terrace during warm weather.
El Churrasco in Córdoba is an absolute gem! For me, it’s hands down the best steak I’ve ever tasted perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The restaurant has a cozy yet refined atmosphere that brings a special touch to the dining experience, and the service is friendly and attentive. Beyond the steak, their selection of traditional Spanish dishes is incredible, and the wine list is impressive. If you’re in Córdoba, this is a must visit spot for a memorable meal.

Visited Restaurante El Churrasco for lunch. They’re open from 2:00PM-4:00PM for lunch hours, and 8:00PM-11:00PM for dinner hours. We were ten minutes early, and they let us in right when the clock hit 2:00. Punctuality is priority! Bread was placed on the side plates and water was brought to us after we climbed up the stairs to the third floor. There are multiple rooms to this restaurant, FYI. Ordered quite a bit a food, and it all came in a fair amount of time. Although that could be because we were a few of the only customers. The food; amazing. I got Stew Broth with Mint, and I cannot explain the unique flavor. Also ordered a mini wagyu burger for myself, wanting to see how the meat tasted. It was delicious. We ordered a bunch of other stuff, and it was great.

They have a selection of dishes that cover veggies/meat/sea food. We shared some fried squids, then had main courses of octopus and cod fish, tender and flavourful. Although a reservation is recommended, we arrived there right after they opened for dinner and got lucky to get a table at the second floor. They had pages of reservations for the evening and the place got full in no time. Staff is focused and attentive and they manage their tasks efficiently.

I had an amazing dinner at El Churrasco. I did queue, and the place opened at 20:30 sharp. There were a lot of people in line, but still, I’d say you might find a spot even if you arrive at 21:00 - provided you’re not a huge group. Staff was friendly and I appreciated being placed in a room that was quieter, as I had my book with me. I wanted to try their churrasco and the taste of “brasa” was so present but in a good way. Meat was melting like butter - so tasty. My small salad was big and tasty too. I tried the cordovan cake and the portion was huge despite being the small one. I also had the amaretto and chocolate crocant, which was disappointing because there wasn’t no amaretto and the chocolate was an artificial syrup (a place like this could afford better chocolate). My wine was truly good. So, desserts are not the big spot, and I do recommend you get the restaurant forte, that is meat!

We were recommended here as a great restaurant but were very disappointed. Service was very slow, with no warmth and every course was disappointing. My €38 t-bone was chewy and bland, served with just a few soggy saute potatoes. My wife's Hake with prawns and mussels was not outstanding in any way. Overall the food seemed more like catering than a quality restaurant and was very poor value for money. We had many better meals in Cordoba.

The food was REALLY GOOD! We had steak, burger, salad (stunning) and two desserts- cheesecake (lifted by the coulis and sorbet) and cheese. However, we were made to wait outside and the waiters were... let's say a little cool. As my mum would say, "they have a bob on themselves!"

Tapas bar
Bar Alfalfa is a cozy and rustic tapas bar located in the heart of Seville, attracting a mix of locals, expats, and tourists. While their tapas may not be the top choice for some, they also serve delicious breakfast options such as the classic tomato and Iberian ham combination or the Italian toast with provolone cheese and mortadella.
Probably one of my favorite food stops in Seville, the service was quick and efficient sitting at the bar. The food was all amazing, the best would probably be the jamon or the pork cheeks. Wow it was so good just looking at the photos is making me miss this place. All the tapas are reasonably priced as well. Great vibe, great food, what more could you want.

Hit or Miss Experience We visited this bar twice last week, and honestly, it felt like two completely different places. On our first visit (June 12), the experience was absolutely amazing. The waiter who served us was one of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered, and I ordered a lot of tapas and sangria. Everything was incredibly delicious. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back later that same day — and once again, the food and service were just as outstanding. But the next day, we returned and unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. The new waiter (also a guy) wasn’t nearly as friendly, and the food was honestly disappointing. I ordered a lasagna that came out cold and just wasn’t good. My friend ordered the same meat dish we’d had the day before — which had been excellent — but this time it was also cold and not well-prepared. We later found out the chef was different: a woman the first day, a man the second. Regardless, a place like this should maintain consistent quality, no matter who’s in the kitchen. That’s the reason I’m not giving 5 stars for this bar. But if I had to rate it based only on our first day, it would have been an easy 5-star experience. Still, I’d consider coming back if I ever return to Seville, just to take my chances again and based on how great our first experience was. The prices were also quite fair, and it was the cheapest sangria we found in the city.

The food was absolutely delicious, a great spot to try local flavors. It’s a bit small and usually hard to find a seat, but definitely worth the wait. I sat at the bar and, following the bartender’s recommendation, ordered the salmon marinado. It was amazing! I also tried a few different wines, and the bartender was very friendly, offering great suggestions and even a few treats. I wanted to go back on my last day of vacation, but there were no available seats and I didn’t have time to wait, so I had to try somewhere else. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Grab a drink and wait for a table - at 7.30pm we only waited a few mins. The wine is great. And it’s all so very cheap. Pork cheek and beef steak were great but everything was very tasty.

Absolutely fabulous tapas bar in Seville. We stayed in the city for a couple of nights and ate there both days. Food, atmosphere and staff were all excellent. The cod bites were out of this world as were the croquettes on the specials board. Definitely worth a try if you are in Seville.

We absolutely love Bar Alfalfa! The food is so delicious that we’ve found ourselves coming back almost every day for lunch during our stay in Seville. Every dish is packed with flavor and feels so fresh and authentic. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, and the staff make the experience even better—they’re always warm, welcoming, and attentive. This place truly captures the charm of Seville, and it has become one of our favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended!

If you like getting yelled at, this is the place for you. We were intrigued by the lineup and the cozy local vibe, but once inside, you’re met with a guy behind the bar who shouts at everyone to sit or order. The paella was finished, yet instead of just crossing it off the chalkboard, he spent the whole time yelling at anyone who asked. He really overpowers the place and makes it feel unwelcoming. The food is good and honestly worth it — but this dude has definitely been working there a little too long and kinda ruins the experience.

Spanish restaurant
Ovejas Negras Tapas is a popular and innovative tapas bar located near Seville's City Hall on Plaza Nueva. Despite its unassuming exterior, this contemporary eatery offers a fusion of Spanish and Asian flavors, creating dishes like patatas bravas, braised cheek, stir fry, Japanese omelette, mushroom risotto, tuna tartar, fish and chips, and gourmet burgers. The vibrant decor and excellent service add to the dining experience.
I ate one of the best tapas in Seville at this place. And definitely the most beautiful Russian salad so far. The food, service and ambience are perfect. All praises.

Great food, tasty, and in a nice location in Sevilla. First dinner here and it got me excited for the next few days in this wonderful city. Made a reservation and it seems like that is the move since it got crowded. Food was a little more on the expensive side for the size but totally worth it. The beef was really good, the risotto was amazing. Could definitely taste the truffle so if you are not a big truffle person then would not recommend. Wings were alright. What is up with wings in Spain, they are just not great. They just make the wing and put sauce on it. That is not how it’s done. You have to toss them, have the right sauces, and put more sauces than just barbecue. I bet the average Spanish person doesn’t know that there are more wing flavors that barbecue, this is like the third time I’ve had barbecue wings in Spain the exact same way. Other than the wings, everything else was amazing. Definitely a great spot to hit if you are in the area, hopefully it is nicer weather than what I got when I was here. Beli gave it a 6.9 which I think is reasonable. Check this spot out.

Stepping into Ovejas Negras Tapas is like diving into the vibrant heart of Seville's culinary scene. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the buzz of excitement, a testament to its well-deserved popularity. Let's talk about the food – it's simply exceptional. The beef tacos, in particular, are a revelation. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, they're a must-try for any visitor. But honestly, every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece, showcasing the creativity and passion of the chefs. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. They're not just serving food; they're creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations made us feel like valued guests. The atmosphere itself is electric, a lively blend of locals and tourists all enjoying the shared experience of fantastic tapas. It's a place where conversations flow easily, and laughter fills the air. It is very popular, and that is a testiment to the quality of the food and service. So, here's a friendly tip: arrive early or make a reservation to avoid disappointment. This gem of a tapas bar is rightfully busy, and you won't want to miss out on the culinary delights it has to offer. In short, Ovejas Negras Tapas is a culinary adventure that I wholeheartedly recommend. It's a place where food, service, and atmosphere come together to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Mercado del Barranco is a gourmet market located in a 19th-century galvanized-iron building that used to be a fish market. Situated on the lush banks of the Guadalquivir, it offers a glimpse into Sevillano life. The market features stylish food stalls and bars offering inventive, modern, and varied cuisine within its glass walls.
We found this place and it became one of our favourites on our trip to Seville. Overall the food and drinks were a good cost for great quality. One thing we did find confusing was if you could sit inside in the 'fancy' middle seating if you went and got your own food, or if it was waiter service only. People didn't tend to know you had to be seated in this area, and it would be helpful if there was some signage. Outside had some lovely seating areas as well with music that makes it a great environment to relax. Overall a 10/10 even with the seating confusion. Some of the things we had were: Bravos Potato's, Tomato Salad, Empanadas, Salami Pizza Spice, Cheese Selection, Coconut and Mango Dessert Slice, Pistachio Cheesecake.

El Huerto de Juan Ranas, La Terraza is a charming restaurant located in an old restored carmen with stunning views of the Alhambra. It offers a diverse menu featuring Andalusian and Arabic fusion dishes made with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant has both a rustic dining room and a spacious terrace where guests can savor Spanish classics like patatas bravas and rabo de toro while enjoying regional wines.
I was honestly a bit worried about coming here after reading some review, however I can honestly say that this restaurant is a MUST for one of your dinners in Granada. If possible, I recommend paying extra for the front row tables as the view is extraordinary. I would also recommend arriving around 30 mins before sunset so that you can appreciate both the sunset and the night view of the Alhambra. Our server, Gabi, was very friendly and attentive! I did not notice a long wait for food like the other reviews and it was a very full Friday night. The food was very tasty, would recommend the arroz negro paella!
Simon L — Google review
Again, I didn’t research any spots — I just followed our guide’s recommendation. Alas, it’s not a place I would have picked voluntarily. Anyway, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, we showed up without a reservation and explained that we’d like to have a few drinks and something small to eat for about half an hour while enjoying the view of the Alhambra. By the way, we are well-dressed, well-behaved tourists who speak English fluently. We immediately asked for a table with the best view and were told those were reserved. We were offered a second-row table that wasn’t preset, but that’s not what we wanted, so we insisted on one of the “premier” tables. We were still refused—until we noticed that one of those tables wasn’t preset either, at which point we finally got it. We’re used to slower service than in the US, so we ordered drinks right away and got them quickly. The gazpacho was delicious, as was the tomato salad with tuna. We did expect a bit more in terms of local dishes, but at that moment the selection was different. As we were informed, the restaurant changes its menu quite often, so don’t expect to see the exact same dishes you find in Google reviews. The point of my review is this: I don’t understand why servers/managers give attitude to paying customers. Isn’t that their source of income? Especially when customers from the US tend to tip differently. Rude service will only drive away potential customers, even if the restaurant has the best view of the Alhambra.
Y R — Google review
This is THE best restaurant to watch the sunset over the Alhambra. We didn’t pay for the front row table but got an awesome view regardless. Service was great, drinks were good, we had the burrata (10/10), grilled vegetables (10/10 and seafood paella (7/10). Make sure to make a reservation!
Claire S — Google review
We booked our table in advance and even paid a bit more for a reservation with a view — and it was absolutely worth it! The service was incredible, and the food was delicious. I was a bit worried after reading some negative comments, but most of them were only about the prices. Yes, it’s a little expensive, but that’s expected for such a beautiful location and excellent service. Everything was totally worth it, and it’s also pet-friendly, which made it even better. We would definitely visit again!

Absolutely terrible. I paid €100 for 2 glasses of normal white wine and 2 sub standard burgers. Service was below standard also. We had to call the waiter over to order our food. Burger came on greaseproof newspaper - I was back eating school dinners again. I guess this place caters for an American market and that’s about it. Even had to rip my own ketchup and mayo out of a packet. My wife and I had just done a four hour hike and we were absolutely starving. Usually when you are that hungry, anything tastes good, but this didn’t even taste that great. Can’t believe my wife and I dressed up for this. We should’ve kept our dusty hiking boots on.

Came here for the sunset view of Alhambra. Ordered gazpacho and squid and it was delightful. Also had sangria and another drink. Prices were on the high end but understandably so for the location and view.

We made a reservation in advance for the front-row seats at sunset which cost €15/pax. We originally intended to just go for drinks but ended up staying for dinner too… Pros - All the food ordered was delicious and good quality. We had the Iberian Ham, the fresh bread with olive oil and croquettes - The view is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner Cons - You will be constantly bothered by multiple wasps whilst trying to eat your dinner which is quite annoying - we asked the waiter for no nuts on the ham whilst ordering. When the ham arrived it had nuts on the plate so we explained we had a nut allergy so needed a new plate. The waiter just walked away with the ham and in plain sight used a spoon to take a nuts off before returning with the plate. So we had to then explain that due to cross contamination and a serious nut allergy we needed a new plate… so be aware if you have some allergies!! - the Aperol Spritz were a bit hit and miss, we had one perfect one and two not-so-perfect ones as too much aperol had been added

Uvedoble Taberna is a renowned spot in Malaga, offering traditional and innovative Málagan-style tapas in a relaxed setting with the option for outdoor dining. Recently relocated to a larger venue near the cathedral, it continues to impress with its clever and modern menu that caters effortlessly to groups of any size. The classics like oxtail albondigas are still on offer, alongside new creations from esteemed chefs in the Repsol guide.
This restaurant in the heart of Málaga is exceptional. I was lucky enough to get a table outside around 3 PM, which was perfect for enjoying the sun. My server was very attentive and helped me navigate the menu. Although they had run out of sangria, I tried the summer red—a great alternative. It was fruity and full of bright, summery flavors. The food was on another level. The garlic prawn mini-kebab and the crusty king prawn rolls with soy sauce were the highlights. The kebab was packed with juicy, fresh prawns, while the king prawn rolls—prawns wrapped in filo pastry and fried—were simple yet executed to perfection. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the black toasted noodles with Málaga little squids. I found them lacking in flavor, and there weren’t many squid pieces. However, it was still an interesting dish to try. Overall, this is a fantastic place to eat. It came highly recommended by a friend, and I can see why. I’ve also tried visiting during peak lunch and dinner hours, but they get very busy. If you can, book a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you want to eat fresh, local and well made Spanish food then you should consider to come here! I came here twice during my holiday in Malaga. As a fish lover I must say that the fish was really well made! Russian salad is definitely the best in town! Made with the prawns on top the delicate oil over it was absolutely amazing! The octopus in the brioche bun was something special. The taste of it with the contrast of all the other veggies on top was marvellous! The place can get very busy, come on time.

It’s located right in front of the Alcazaba – very atmospheric, with a view that steals your heart. We tried the croquettes, spicy potatoes, Spanish omelette, Russian salad, an amazing brioche filled with meat, and some outstanding squid ink spaghetti. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented – a real treat for the taste buds! Special mention to the staff: the waiters were incredibly friendly and kind.

La Cacharrería is a cozy and rustic-chic bar and eatery in Seville, known for offering one of the best breakfasts in the city. It's a popular spot for vegetarians, with a wide range of fresh juices, organic coffees, homemade jams, marmalades, pastries, and tarts available. The cafe has a laid-back atmosphere with cool upcycled furniture and offers great value cocktails.
The food was fantastic. My "Tasty" foccia was delicious. The "Holland" waffle was also really good. We got a couple of cappuccinos that hit the spot. Topped it off with a refreshing smoothie!

Grabbed a quick lunch here and the sandwiches were solid with fresh bread, decent fillings, and the price was good. Service was fine, nothing over the top, but did the job. It’s not a place you sit around for ages, but if you’re nearby and want a good-value lunch without fuss, it’s a handy shout.
Graham — Google review
Went there based on the high recommendation i saw online, however, what we experienced was definitely not worth this hype. The staff are rude and they don’t support you in picking. We chose the traditional breakfast, most of the selected items we requested were not served but rather we received randomly placed ingredients on top of each other and then charged us for everything (even the non-existing ones). The outdoor seating has some ultra tiny tables suitable only for a coffee and not food. one plate is about more than half the size of the table.
Reine K — Google review
Our pasta and focaccia, both vegetarian, were super yummy. Including the beer we paid 25€ which is a very good price!

The food here is amazing, so much choice but all being amazing! We tried the fruit bowls and they were perfect. Also had to try the pistachio croissant too! All the staff are lovely and very helpful! If you are lucky, sitting outside has great atmosphere on a beautiful Seville street but if not, inside is just as good!

Best breakfast in Sevilla! Even came back a second time. Prices are good, the food and service is even better. Also a great location with a nice terrace. Recommend!

Tavern
Antigua Casa de Guardia is a historic bar in Malaga known for its traditional ambiance and local sweet wines served from tapped casks. The long, narrow space features a bar lined with barrels of sweet wines, sherries, and vermouths. Patrons can enjoy standing room only or grab a spot at one of the few high tables. The experienced staff keeps tabs on chalk and encourages guests to indulge in the affordable drinks.
No food for us however the experience was great. Our taxi driver suggested this spot as a unique Malaga experience. The wine, especially a 3 part blend they made for me was great and I'm not really a wine drinker. The space was tight and air warm but we still had conversations with 2 couples on their own holiday. It's a "should do" event for sure.
Scott H — Google review
A fantastic place we visit every time we go to Malaga. Highly recommend for an authentic experience. You can stand at the bar and pay as you order or run a tab which is chalked on the bar.
Wendy S — Google review
A great place to visit, the tavern is a good experience to try. All wines were served from large barrels, waiters would write the cost using chalk on the table. Cheap wine, tried red and white. All were flavourful and you could taste the difference.
Sarit S — Google review
If you can find it, then it is worth the journey for the experience of a typical Spanish standing bar with many happy locals enjoying the banters and happy cheers. A must to see, and be at... your invoice is written on the bar..a good old fashioned practice in Spain. Many thanks Antigua Casa de Guardia!
JBD D — Google review
Was it the best sweet wine/Vermouth in Malaga? No. But did that matter? Also no! It is an experience to go and try them as the atmosphere is good and drinking them straight from the barrel while your tab is marked in chalk on the bar in front of you is worth it! Didn't have any food but heard good things about it from the people that were eating.
Jacqueline M — Google review
Nothing is more authentic than this century old bodega, where the specialties are finos (sherry wines), vermouth and muscatel (as well as boiled shrimps and mussels). Old school waiters will serve you in the most old fashioned style, writing down your tab directly on the bar’s counter using a chalk. Simply a time travel to old Malaga. Must experience when visiting. 👌 🍷

FARALÁ RESTAURANTE is an upscale Andalusian dining room located near the Alhambra, offering gourmet regional Granada dishes. The restaurant's foundation lies in tradition, emotion, and culture, providing an authentic gastronomic experience. Guests can explore Granada's culinary history through three tasting menus featuring a variety of flavors and textures. From Mejillon en escabeche to Tortilla Sacromonte, the menu showcases traditional recipes with updated versions.
This restaurant offered an excellent dining experience, combining rich, traditional flavors with innovative culinary proposals. Many of the dishes showcased typical regional tastes blended beautifully with creative new fusions. Personally, my favorite dish was the lamb absolutely delicious though I have to say the stingray with its sauce was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly, incredibly, incredibly good. Beyond the food, the presentation and service were flawless. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, with no missteps at all. As for the prices, they’re completely in line with the quality of the tasting menu and the overall experience. A perfect place for those looking to explore exciting flavors in a refined setting.

Where is the 6th star for food when you need it? Amazing 10 course dinner with the best spanish ingridients, high end cooking and stunning dish arrangements from the chef. The wine tasting from all Spanish wine makers and the super friendly team rounded it up...an amazing evening with the best food in Granada. Muchas Gracias!
Dirk L — Google review
It was a lovely place for an intimate dinner. Service was absolutely great. Each dish had its own description and background, which is explained when they come out. Each dish was one or two bites, but you get a lot of dishes, and you do get full. If you can also see a flamenco show before dinner for an additional cost at the restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.
Peggy — Google review
I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by its culinary proposal. The combination of flavors is bold yet very well executed; while some pairings may seem unconventional, they come together beautifully to create truly balanced and delicious dishes. Personally, my favorite was the sea bass with spinach and a spinach-based sauce—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I’d also highlight one of the desserts near the end of the tasting menu, which stood out for its originality and taste. The price value ratio is excellent. The tasting menu is well-crafted, complete, and reasonably priced. Without a doubt, it’s a place suitable for a special occasion, a meal with friends or family, or even a business setting
Laura A — Google review
Splashed out on the 14 course tasting menu. It was fabulous. Thoroughly recommended. We went for the wine flight too which was reasonably priced at around £50 per person. The gentleman who walked us through the wine pairings was lovely and very knowledgeable. All in all if you fancy a real gastronomical treat then I would book here. Not a sure we captured all the courses… we kept forgetting to take photos!

I went for a special occasion and it was amazing 🤩. The presentation was beautiful and the service was impeccable. My favorites were the mead dessert, the motril shrimp and the Segureno lamb and cherry.
Mikito T — Google review
We enjoyed a variety of dishes. The lobster brioche had good balance. Our server, Alberto told us about each dish as he served it. He recommended a wine and it went well with the meal. We knew it was a bit pricey, but for us it was very much worth it.
Steve K — Google review
A holiday within a holiday. We had the full experience. A 15 course degustation menu. A festival of flavours! Every course was great and the wine pairing sublime. The chef is a very smart cook. Everything has its purpose and the courses complement each other very well. Would definitely come back if we didn't live in northern Europe. We highly recommend the full experience. It is not cheap but definitely worth it.

It was the only place open around 4.30 pm. One of the best wines in spain. Food was also good. They served one portion of tapas with each drink which were a decent portion. The staff was also very friendly and polite.

Bar and restaurant where you can order drinks and tapas with excellent service! Food: Fried mixed seafood was done well. It does come on a huge platter. Maybe good for 3 -4 persons. Service: Our server was friendly and knowledgeable Ambiance: They offer multiple seating on bar, indoor our outdoor on the plaza. The place is quite nice but leaves may fall on your table if you sit in the plaza. Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. About 20 Euros for sharing plate. A recommended place to hangout with friends in the Albaicin area.

We had a few drinks here in the evening. Sangrias are cheap and good(3,5€). You get free tapas with the drinks. They are free but just ok. We didn't get any food. But for drinks I'd recommend!
Rebecca — Google review
We stopped at Bar Aixa after taking photos outside. We weren’t hungry so we just ordered little nibblies with beer. Croquettes were crispy outside and soft inside and fried eggplant had a nice texture between crisp and soggy but the sauce on top was a bit too sweet for us. The waiter spoke English fluently, we didn’t have issues with communication. Just one downside is inside the restaurant, there’s no toilet, you have to walk across and get into the bar. But the problem is the bar’s quite narrow and small. Except that, it was a nice experience and what we ordered came to 16.50 Euros total, much as gracias!

Super fantastic main dishes and tapas. Several outdoor places to sit and we chose a hidden alcove away from the street crowd. Ordered the fish sampler for two and I’ll let the picture speak for the place. Service was good overall just that the hidden gem where we sat was a distance from the kitchen.

I ordered garlic pork, mixed fried seafood and potato croquettes. The croquettes served really quick and taste good. The mixed seafood is average but garlic pork was tasteless, the worst part of the pork was served uncooked, all five pieces were pink inside. My friend had one of it that shows the least amount of pink. Once I let the staff know, she asked if we want the pork to recook and show no signs of apologizing. I said no as my appetite had already gone.

In the vibrant city of Malaga, Spain, beer enthusiasts can find a haven at Central Beers Craft Beer. Tucked away in the city center, this trendy and cosmopolitan bar offers a mix of familiarity and novelty with its local clientele and diverse selection of craft beers from Spain and Europe. The modern gastro pub exudes a chic atmosphere with its exposed brick and wood decor, making it an ideal spot to savor unique brews with friends or enjoy a laid-back meal.
In Málaga, I made my first stop at Central Beers, a recommendation from a friend. I kicked things off with a craft beer, perfectly paired with Venezuelan Patacón with beef. This dish featured crispy fried green plantain slices topped with seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, and a mix of vibrant sauces - flavourful and satisfying!

Loved the ambiance and decor. The selection of beers is impressive and something for every palate. The nachos were average and the chicken wings were delicious, fall off the bone but a little pricey for the portion. The burger was massive and delicious.

Used to bee great place a year ago. Still ok but beer selection is not so good this year and the service is not that professional as it used to be.

I’m giving this 5 stars because the food is just so so tasty. The quesadilla is so delicious. Had on several occasions and it never disappoints. The burger and fries are really good as well, the fries are excellent. A bit slow service, perhaps because of a Sunday. And the atmosphere is that of a sports bar. It’s not the ambiance that is the big appeal, but rather the food. Just inside of the perimeter of central Malaga where you have all the tourist streets.

What a "hidden" gem out of the busy streets of the old town. 10/10. We were not the biggest eaters, but they seperates our shared dishes on the table so it looked like we both had a full plate. I have eaten well in many cities around the world and I can happily say this is amongst the best meals, if not *the* best meal, I have eaten. With my fiancée celebrating the end of a birthday trip to Seville and on recommendation from a Catalan work colleague, we were not disappointed. We opted for the tasting menu with pairings and the extra lamb course. Spectacular. Service from Antonio with Sommelier Robert made us feel welcome. Not rushed, yet attentive service. Atmosphere light and airy with a handful of covers ensuring you feel like a select few. Highly recommend

One of the better meals I had in Sevilla, but not sure if the overall experience is worth the relatively high price. Tried the large tasting meny. The dishes were all good and nicely presented, but none of them were «memorable» for me. The squid, hake and chocolate ganache are worth a mention. A really cute rooftop bar. The view is very nice. The prices are rather high, and the drinks are made very fancy, but they were tasty. Some soft drinks are available as well, however there weren’t a lot of non-alcoholic beers available. I had a good time here, so I would recommend it!

We have been celebrating a wedding ceremony on the Pura Vida rooftop terraza and have had a fantastic time and experience. The service level was really extraordinary good and all of the around 70 guests felt super welcome. Also the planning in the weeks before went super well, always super professional and without any complications. Due to the high temperatures the staff was arranging several sun umbrellas that provided plenty of shadow while still maintaining a good view. By speaking of this: the view of the Giralada is just stunning. Thank you sooo much for having us. We will never forget this day!

Great place for a sunset drink (you can't see the sun setting all the way !) I like the atmosphere The cocktails are €11 a pop ! But disappointingly they could not make 2 of their own vodka signature cocktails (WTAF!) The service is not that great. Took my order after telling me my first drink wasn't available, After 10 mins came back to tell me the second cocktail wasn't available but didn't bring over the drinks that were. 10 more passed and finally our drinks arrived. I am sure there are better places for rooftop cocktail

Lovely rooftop bar. Amazing views. As good as any in Seville. There is an adjoining pool where I think you can get access and 2 cocktails for €30, lovely cocktail menu. No table service when we were there and service a little slow when busy
Family K — Google review
I visited the rooftop bar at Pura Vida in Seville expecting a relaxing evening with a nice drink and a great view — but what I got was far from that. I ordered a ginger ale, which somehow managed to taste like absolutely nothing. Not even the slightest hint of ginger — just flat, flavorless soda water with some lemon . As if that wasn’t bad enough, the glass I was served was filthy. The rim was covered in dust and sticky smudges, clearly not cleaned properly. It was honestly disgusting and made me lose my appetite for even finishing the drink. For a place that markets itself as a stylish rooftop bar, the lack of basic hygiene and quality is shocking. There are plenty of other bars in Seville that actually care about their drinks and their customers — I strongly suggest going anywhere else.

Los Diamantes is a renowned tapas bar with three branches in central Granada. The Plaza Nueva location is popular among tourists, while the original and best version can be found on Calle Navas. This small but beloved bar is known for its chaotic yet lively atmosphere, where patrons have to yell their orders from the doorway due to its size. The Calle Navas branch specializes in traditional fried-fish tapas, a rarity in Granada.
Highly recommended! Very fresh seafood and great in cooking! You may need to wait up to 30 mins to be seated but it is worth the waiting ! Euro 229/6 persons = euro 38/ pp. Highly recommended !

Buzzy traditional tapas joint with veggie options! We loved this place, my husband for the delicious seafood and me for the garlic mushrooms and the vibes. It’s a classic “muscle your way in and find a space” place.
Emily E — Google review
The place was quite crowded when we went for dinner, but it really lets you soak in the spirit of the city. Seating is limited, but you can usually find a spot to stand and enjoy your food. I tried razor clams for the first time, not something I’d rush to have again, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. As for the mixed seafood platter, everything except the cod felt pretty average. I’m sure there are places that do it better. The highlight for us was the shrimp tapa that came complimentary with our beers, definitely our favorite bite of the evening!

This stylish venue is perfect for enjoying sundowners while taking in the breathtaking sunset. The bar serves a variety of cocktails and spirits, with a wide selection of gins and whiskies available. While there's no reservation system in place, arriving in the late afternoon ensures the best sunset view.
Great service, delicious drinks and a lovely view of the cathedral. We visited twice as we enjoyed it so much. Prices are higher than other local bars but considering the location and views it is understandable and worth it.
Jessie D — Google review
Absolutely stunning views of the cathedral and the wait staff was so lovely, even recommending us their favourite spots for sunset viewing. We were lucky and a private event had just finished, so plenty of tables available on a Wednesday night. The drink prices are steep but that's to be expected for the location. Oh and the music selection was great - could have stayed there all night, with deeper pockets.
P G — Google review
Great spot with a chill vibe and a view to match. The drinks were honestly really good. especially the cocktails but definitely on the pricey side. Worth it if you’re in the mood to treat yourself, just don’t expect happy hour prices or cheap pours here.
Viral R — Google review
Review for Drinks only. Great place to sit and enjoy a cocktail, twice the price of anybody else, but frankly worth it as you get a wonderful view over the Cathedral and it feels very special. I'd rather pay over the top for a matching experience than half the price in a poor bar, service was very good on the first visit, but it was a lot busier on our second visit so they struggled a bit to get to you, but they managed! Highly recommended if you want a top experience
Stuart L — Google review
Unbeatable views of Seville’s Cathedral and the city’s rooftops. I'm typically a bit hesitant when traveling to rely on a hotel bar for ambiance, but La Terraza del EME nailed it. The hotel has designed the space beautifully, with multiple levels that make every seat feel special. Sunset is the magic hour. I expected the rooftop to be packed (early October), but the host immediately led us to what turned out to be one of the best tables — perfect for cocktails and cathedral views as the sky shifted colors. Cocktails are pricier than most places nearby, but consider it the price of admission for the panorama. Definitely add it to your list — it’s one of those “only in Seville” experiences.
Jason R — Google review
One of the rooftop bars we would probably pass. The staff were nice but not super attentive. Ordered drinks and came back a few minutes later to let us know they didn't have one of them available anymore. Ordered a different drink to have the same thing happen again as that was also out. Menu itself wasn't huge either so not like there were many options left after that. The view of the cathedral was great but you can get similar in other rooftop bars with better drinks considering the upcharge you pay for them. The decoration of the place was really nice though definitely great for photos.
Ciara — Google review
Great view of the cathedral with very good drinks. You can see a lot of the city from here even the Alcazar which was doing a light show which caught our attention. The staff was very nice as well. Just go to the staff member outside of the hotel and mention that you want to go to the rooftop bar ans they'll let you through. Highly recommend
Juan A — Google review
Great view of the cathedral for sure. But everything else is below average. You are asked to climb 4 floors up cos lift is for guests?! Then you are served G&T in a water glass, no coaster, no tissues, no water but some stale peanuts that’ gone off. Come here for view not for the drink.

If you find yourself in Granada and are craving a taste of Ireland, look no further than Hannigan & Sons. This charming Irish pub, conveniently located across from the cathedral, is the perfect spot to catch major sporting events while enjoying a refreshing pint of Guinness or exploring their extensive selection of international beers and local brews. The warm atmosphere created by friendly staff makes it an inviting place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Authentic Irish bar. Great breakfast inthe middle of the day. Friendly helpful staff.

Typical Irish pub, not the greatest selection of beers, no free tapas, but sports on all the time. We liked it for the crack. Been a few times now, always get served and pleasant atmosphere
Marc B — Google review
My husband and I visited for a Chelsea football game. The bar was full of fans and it was a very fun atmosphere! We ordered nachos and they exceeded my expectations. They had Strongbow on tap which I enjoyed.
Kailey P — Google review
Can't go wrong with nice Guiness and hot hearty stew! I know I can always count on Irish pub. Conveniently located and nice Irish atmosphere.
Syd R — Google review
Decent little Irish style pub which has numerous screens for different sports, hosting pub quizzes every so often too. Limited variety of beers, but all of your standard spirits. Staff friendly enough, seems to get fairly busy on game days!
Scott H — Google review
Nice irish pub near the cathedral. Pub food is also quite good. The chicken wings were fantastic!
Lukas H — Google review
A decent pint and great for sport. Went in a few nights in a row but was disappointed to be charged double on my last visit. I'd been paying nine euros for a pint and a short then when I ordered my next he said not much left in this bottle i'll give you a double and he charged me nineteen euro's. I should have spoken up as it left disappointed in them trying it on.
Andrew M — Google review
Good Irish themed bar, draught Guinness and cider plus local beers. It does get busy when the football is on. A mix of locals and tourists. Service at the bar is good.

42Bar Garlochí

Bar
Bar Garlochí in Seville offers a unique and somewhat surreal experience with its ecclesiastical decor and religious ambiance. The bar is adorned with gilded imagery, statues of religious figures, and cherubim, creating an atmosphere that feels like a tipsy interpretation of the Pope's living quarters. The cocktail menu includes the 'Sangre de Christo,' made with grenadine, whisky, and cava. Even the music played adds to the solemn yet quirky vibe.
I came to Sevilla seeking all the pleasures that this place has to offer and Bar Garlochi was one of the highlights of my trip. A friend recommended this bar so went as part of a group. We had to wait 10-15 minutes before we were allowed in. Only old men were coming out of the bar so I was a little bit unsure of this place but still I waited 😁 When I walked in, I simply wasn't ready for what I was about to experience. The bar is all red with a lot of religious symbols. You'll see jesus, Mary the mother of god and other saints from the new testament. If you are religious, you may be offended but jesus did turn water into wine in the wedding at Canaan so I guess he will be ok with it. We ordered "the blood of jesus" cocktail which is a play on words with the consecration at mass. The blood is an interesting drink, it's sweet but later on the drink turns bitter. I loved it but some may not, it's a marmite drink I guess. The only down side of this bar is the bathroom, it's abysmal. I walked in, then wanted to leave as soon as possible. I simply can't talk about it, it's too upsetting so bare that in mind when you come here 😊
Festus J — Google review
This bar is something else. You enter into a mind blowing religious experience. The landlord has a look of a senior Humphrey Bogart and his signature drink is a mix of Grenadine, whisky and prosecco. It is tart yet sweet and certainly alcoholic! It is an experience you will not want to miss when visiting Seville.
Paul F — Google review
You can only pay in cash, which is only revealed when you pay!! Several of us sat like "hostages" at the counter, while others went to the ATM for cash... :D it's interesting to go there once; it's one of the exciting survivors of the alternative ruin pub era of the 90s. The Blood of Christ cocktail is very sweet; and the place opens after 10 pm, so it's worth paying attention to that.
Gabor N — Google review
I would lie if I said that this bar is not worth visiting!:-) travelling is all about experiencing local life, local culture and getting to know locals - you can do it all right here! Absolutely bizarre, the interior takes you to Madonna's Like A Prayer video clip and the locals are super friendly! Try their house drink El Sangre del Cristo. Overall score: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Adam K — Google review
Bar Garlochí is a truly unique and surreal experience - like stepping into a scene from Alejandro Jodorowsky’s Santa Sangre. It’s theatrical, excessive, religious, baroque, and unapologetically bloody. The walls drip with Catholic iconography, saints stare at you from golden altars, and every candle seems lit with feverish devotion. It’s not just a bar - it’s a shrine, a fever dream, a hallucination in velvet and incense. I ordered the signature cocktail: “The Blood of Christ” - and that blood was very sweet and intoxicating.
Moon M — Google review
The place was cool, the bar man was so rude and homophobic. Which was a pity as the place had such a good vibe. It just needs more friendly and able staff. The house cocktail I had read about but it tasted awful like a really bad negroni. I wouldn’t be enticed to return. They only accept cash too which is so outdated and suspect ! Horrendous staff but pop in to take a picture and LEAVE.
Linda B — Google review
Incredible bar tucked away. Proper Seville landmark. Card machine would make the landlord a very rich man.
Pascal L — Google review
It’s not a place to come to if you’re looking for a fancy drink or great service. The interior might not be to everyone’s liking and it’s quite expensive for Seville but it’s worth every cent. This place is more of an experience than a place to have a drink at. Very limited choice of drink, that’s worth mentioning… Best if you feel like drinking some of Christ’s Blood… the bartender’s /owner’s signature cocktail. Everything here is full of character and I absolutely loved it. Cash only.
