its a great place overall, we ordered 4 different pizzas which were very delicious and nicely presented, the waiting time was a little longer than usual because the place was very crowded, but the waiter reassured us a couple minutes before, that our food was arriving. this place also has a variety of pancakes to choose from, which are served in big portions and are also really really tasty. i highly recommend this place if you want to eat something good at a reasonable price 😋😋

I'm a frequent customer in Jupiter and I've also recommended this family-owned restaurant to countless friends and guests that visit me in Pula. All the feedback I got went something like this: "wow, that was amazing", "that was a great place", "the food is so good and service is great", "the quality-price ratio is unbeatable", "the pancakes are killers haha"... I can confirm all of those and highly recommend this place. You won't be able to make reservations tho so you have to show up and often wait to be seated a bit, but that just speaks to how much people love this restaurant. Come on foot because you can't park in the old town.

Amazing service – very kind and fast. The food arrived in under 20 minutes, was warm, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I came with four of my friends, and everyone was very happy with their meals. The drinks were also excellent, especially the Hugo Spritz. The lemonade was refreshingly sour, with a real, natural taste – no added sugar, which I personally loved. The place itself feels very cozy. Since it’s outdoors, it has a wonderful atmosphere with lots of flowers and decorations that create a beautiful vibe. If you’re worried about the weather, don’t be – they are fully prepared. On my visit, it was sunny when I arrived, but after I finished eating it started raining. I didn’t even notice at first, because all the umbrellas had already been opened. Overall, I can highly recommend this place – both for the great food and the welcoming atmosphere.

Always good and fast service, pleasant atmosphere on the terrace, and delicious food. We had Istarski odrezak, which is a version of turkey cordon bleu, deliciously done in cheese and mushrooms sauce with fries. The first bite was so amazingly tasty my taste buds started singing!

When going to book our stay, a local told me about this place. Amazing. The Liz and the atmosphere set where you can have a gaze of outside with a roof that can close and open the outside at any moment is so amazing. Brilliant work. Especially the pizzas.

Excellent pizza and pancakes. But I didn't expect pancakes to be so huge, it is almost a meal on its own. I almost died trying to eat it after the pizza 😂 Of course, this is not criticism but compliment because they don't cheap out.

Reliable place, just not very inspiring. Sure, you'll get very decent food at restaurant experience price and there will be no mistakes and it's deffinitely no scam, but no thrill either. Routinely boring. I wish I could go back in time to visit Vodnjanka again.

This is the best restaurant in Pula!! We came here yesterday because we were close by and a little hungry. The beef pasta and the seafood pasta were SO good so we decided to come back again today. The restaurant changes menu every day so everything is very fresh! The environment is good. MUST TRY in Pula!

We went there because of the positive critique online. Unfortunately all three of us were quite disappointed. Extremely overpriced for symbolic portions without a taste to remember. Quality was good and the service too. Ambience is ok at the best. There’s no terrace, inside only. All in all we do not understand the hype on this restaurant.

The ingredients were fresh and decent, though nothing particularly stood out. One small letdown was the garlic in oil – it would’ve been much better with olive oil for a richer flavor. On the upside, the chicken salad was a pleasant surprise – flavorful, fresh, and nicely balanced. A great option if you're looking for something lighter. What really made the experience stand out was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal, making us feel very welcome. Good overall pizza with a big variety of toppings. The pizzeria offers delivery and and to eat inside the restaurant. It has enough space for small groups and even for big groups of over 15 people. The variety of toppings for the pizza is really good and everyone can find something he likes. The pizza with Rucola and tomatoes I ordered was good, but it definitely has also room for improvement. Personally the crust could be a bit more fluffy and the used offered olive oil was not the best

We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. Their grilled calamari is truly the best in town, tender and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant's ambience combines modern decor with a cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy Istrian specialties like seafood spaghetti and fuži pasta with truffles. The extensive wine list, featuring local Istrian wines, complements the meal wonderfully.

Dining at Epulon Food and Wine was a fantastic experience. We were welcomed with a complimentary starter and enjoyed an exquisite white wine recommendation that paired perfectly with our meals. I had the fish, and my sister had the tagliatelle with zucchini and shrimp. Both dishes were outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients and excellent flavors. The attentive service and superb cuisine make Epulon Food & Whine a must-visit. Highly recommended!

It was not crowded when we were at Epulon so service was excellent, friendly and respectful. My husband had the fish fillet with vegetables which were cooked perfectly. I prefer not to eat fish or meat so I was happy to have the vegetables with pasta dish. The kitchen also served us an olive pesto with a dollop of soft cheese on top and slices of a whole grain bread. Their wine selection was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant with a retractable roof.

We tried two carpaccios (one is on the photo) there, white fish fillet and pasta with shrimps. Everything was very tasty and the waiter was super friendly!

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had in my life! The raw seafood platter was divine. The fish soup was a lot thicker than other soups I've had in the region and filled to the brim with seafood (more like a stew or gumbo). Can't miss this when visiting Pula.

Nice cozy restaurant hidden from main tourist routes. The decor is very nice and the moment you step in you know your gonna get good food. We tried seafood and it was delicious. If your looking for culinary treat, that’s the place to go. However expect the waiters to be lost sometimes. They could not help us with the right wine and the service was slow and not professional. If you want good food and don’t mind long lunch/dinner and remind waiters to bring you your drinks, this is a place to go. Expect A+ good 👌

The place is nice and the staff was super friendly. We came just to eat a dessert, and we could sit outside, next to the fountain. However the Tiramisu was a huge disappointment. The cream had no flavor, overall I would not recommend it to anyone. The lemon cheese cake was a bit better. Water was quite expensive as well. Overall paying 19 euros for water and two cakes, which weren't amazing, makes it that I can't recommend it.

A lovely little bistro near the fountain square. We had a wonderful lunch here and tried the traditional noodles with truffle sauce - absolutely delicious. We also ordered Istrian red wine, which I can definitely recommend. The staff were lovely and the service was ok. The atmosphere was good.

Alighieri was an absolute highlight of our time in Pula! We went all in and tried a variety of dishes — from the fresh and flavorful seabass carpaccio and octopus salad to the perfectly crispy fried squid and rich sea trio. The scampi spaghetti and veal Milanese were both standouts, and the beef steak was cooked just right. Sadly, we were too hungry to snap photos of everything — only managed to capture the pasta before diving in! We wrapped it all up with a classic tiramisu that totally hit the spot. The staff were super friendly, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere had just the right buzz. Huge shoutout to our Airbnb host for the recommendation — this place was honestly amazing. A must-visit for anyone in Pula!

One of the only two fine dining restaurants worth visiting in Pula. The food is superb (try the sea platter for two as an appetizer) and the staff is just perfect. Most of the menu changes regularly, so it is hard to recommend a particular dish, but if you see octopus or a shell risotto for two, don’t skip!!

Everything was amazing! This restaurant was recommended by our airbnb host :) Just when we sat down we were already served fresh homemade bread. For drinks we’ve had the open house wine which was really good. We’ve had the fish soup as a starter which was great. As the main course we’ve shared the mixed mussels and the baked fish covered with pine nuts and almonds which was really really good. As a desert we’ve shared a lemon cheese cake which was - again - amazing. Staff was friendly and the location is nice and quiet. The wait for the food was a bit longer than we were used to in Croatia, which we didn’t mind since it was a good sign that everything was freshly made. Would definitely recommend eating here :)

Grear experience if you'd like to visit a restaurant closer to the residential area of Pula. We had ordered the octopus stew, the tomato soup, the fried fish with potato salad and 4 glasses of wine. In addition to that they brought us free homemade bread. The bread was brilliant, warm and very tasty. The wine was extremely cheap and also really good! The food was not cheap. The service was excellent. Would probably revisit for their bread and wine.

Almost too good to be true. The friendly, knowlegeable and attentive service, the attention the chef is paying to all the little details, the fantastic Croatian wine menu ... Every single dish we had here was cooked to perfection: Seafood, local lamb, pasta, the delicious sweets - WOW! Of course we visited the "crook" ("Farabuto" in Italian) more than once. So happy I could celebrate my birthday here - looking forward to our next visit. Definitely on my all-time top ten list.

I was so excited to eat a truffle fish, unfortunately they changed their menu and don’t often serve truffle. Nevertheless, I had amazing tuna steak. Can definitely recommend! They even served home made bread which was delicious!

If you're a fan of incredible seafood and love trying new things, Batelina is an absolute must-visit. We were spoiled for choice, but thankfully, the fantastic waiters made decisions easy by whipping up several delightful little appetizers for us to start – each one was a winner! The focus here is truly on fresh, daily-caught fish, and it shows. For the main course, they bring the catch of the day right to your table, allowing you to pick your perfect fish – a wonderful touch that ensures you're getting exactly what you want. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. And you cannot leave without trying their chocolate muffins with chili and olive oil. Seriously, they are to die for! We visited last year, came back this year, and will definitely be back next year too. Just a heads-up: make reservations and remember it's cash only.

As the very first fishermen’s tavern in the area, it radiates a warm, welcoming vibe of family and togetherness the moment you walk in. From the very start, the incredibly kind and attentive hostess guided us through the evening, suggesting the perfect wine pairings and explaining each dish with genuine passion. We started with a stunning variety of cold appetizers, each one a little masterpiece for the eyes, nose, and palate. This was followed by a divine lobster pasta and ravioli filled with parsnip in a delicate amberjack sauce, both showcasing incredible balance and depth of flavor. Then came the highlight – the grilled scampi. Though prepared in the simplest way, they were hands down the best we’ve ever had, pure perfection on a plate. And, as the saying goes, save the best for last. The desserts were imaginative and absolutely delicious, especially when paired with a glass of fragrant Muscat. The evening came to a perfect close with a traditional moka coffee, a warm and authentic final touch. Prices are, to say the least, more than fair considering the outstanding quality and experience. We cannot wait to return to relive this unforgettable evening!

I’ve been so excited to try this restaurant and all I can say is that I can’t wait to go back! The food is all homemade and so incredibly fresh! The selection is what was caught that day and there is so much to choose from. Drinks are great and priced well. The staff is amazing, attentive, nice and friendly but also so knowledgeable. The terrace where we sat was so lovely, the view of the gardens and flowers around makes you feel at home. Desserts were mind-blowing (I don’t usually care too much). This might now be my #1 fish restaurant in Croatia! I didn’t even mind that it was cash only. And the value for money was really good!

We visited Batelina and were extremely happy with the experience. The starters were exceptional, especially the fresh fish and seafood. The main courses were also delicious and cooked to perfection. The entire dinner, including the desserts, exceeded our expectations. If you love fresh fish and a cozy atmosphere, this is a must-visit place. We will definitely be back!

If you like (raw) seafood starters and pasta, this is a must visit. Most likely one of the best food experiences which I can only recommend. Have in mind that the place gets busy and you need to reserve well in advance. Kudos to the Chef!

I would gladly give 0* review but this is not possible. I have called this fine restaurant 20/06/2025 at 20:29 at night and got confirmation for 2 persond from female member of the staff on 05/08/2025 at 17:00. We have been in Batelina few times already, that was the reason we wanted to come back. After 7.5 hrs drive from Split we "kiss the door" of the restaurant finding note at the gate that they are on vacation till 18/08. Anniversary ruined big style. I am grateful to Batelina's staff for reminding me how small and itrelevant I am..... hope they are enoying thier vaccation and I will try to do the same

Great place to enjoy a good burger, some cocktails and live DJ / Music. After 23.00 the pub becomes a disco area for party peeps. Great location for tourists to have and fun.

First ever visit and it is a very quiet Sunday afternoon in mid September. A lovely interior with nobody inside...not even a staff member!!! ( They were actually working out back and took my order very quickly ). We sat on the large front patio opposite Riva restaurant with 14 other guests. The back terrace/courtyard is much bigger. Norma and Liza shared a large 0.2l rosė 6.20€ Paulicarus and Madge a large Ožujsko alla spina for 4.60€. I know it gets busy and serves burgers ( meat, fishy, veggie etc. .. and a breakfast menu ) but a very peaceful drink for us.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had traditional Istrian dumplings filled with ricotta and served with tomatoes and creamed parmesan in sage sauce. For a starter we got some cream cheese with truffles. House wine was also top. I highly recommend this restaurant to try some local dishes

Kantina Restaurant was a very beautiful surprise! We found the restaurant based on other very good reviews and we were more than satisfied. The restaurant is located a few hundred meters from Paula's center, and is very easy to reach. We had a full meal based on truffle dishes that were delicious. The waiter was extremely professional and kind and, in addition to our order, we have received a starter and a small amaro at the end of the dinner. Highly recommend!

During our stay in Pula, we were looking for a good restaurant that could satisfy our different tastes. Kantina was our choice. Service was top-notch—super friendly and quick. The food was also excellent in terms of taste, and the portions were not small.

HIDDEN GEM - found this lovely restaurant on Google maps and decided to give it a go. It was a quiet Monday in April, so we didn't need a reservation. Our meal started with a lovely whipped cream cheese and truffle served with fresh homemade bread and a beetroot and balsamic drizzle. It was delicious. Next was the Istrian sausage. Presentation again beautiful served with rocket, walnuts and dried fruits (apricot and dates). This was finished with the thinnest of dried threads (think vermicelli) of chilli. Main courses were traditional pasta of Pljukanci with Smoked Gilt-Head Sea Bream and Adriatic Prawns / Pljukanci with Boškarin beef giravolta and goat cheese. Both again 10/10. It's a shame it's our last night here as we'd definitely be visiting again!

There’s also a large parking area in front of the restaurant, which is a big plus. However, the place is very popular, so it’s hard to get a table just walking in – we definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. We arrived around 1800 without a reservation. As others have mentioned the staff seemed irritated that we didn't make a reservation, but they were practically empty. We were seated immediately nonetheless. After a little bit of frustration with the waiter we ordered quickly. I got the gnocchi with beef cheek and my partner got the truffle pasta. Both dishes were very good. The red house wine was okay and the white house wine was quite good. We ordered the tiramisu and it was incredibly good. I don't like coffee at all and I didn't get the slightest hint of coffee. The cream was astonishingly light and fluffy with a nice sweetness. I would recommend making a reservation to avoid the annoyance from the staff.

We didn’t have a reservation so we sat inside, but it was still really cozy and pleasant. If you’re hoping to sit outside though, definitely make a reservation ahead of time. The taste of the food was really good but the amount definitely scarce for the price paid. The restaurant is far from the touristic zone of the city and this is good, but the surrounding area doesn't look very attractive. The service was good and the waiters patiently waited for our table to get complete. If money is not a problem for you or you don't have a large appetite, this is definitely recommended.

Enjoyed our experience. My husband and I and our 5 year old son went on for an early dinner. I ordered the black cuttlefish risotto and it was amazing yum!!! My son had the chicken nuggets and chips which was a huge portion. The chicken strip's were super fresh and the chips house made. My hubby had the pasta which was great too. Staff were very friendly and spoke English too.

Michelin recommended restaurant is judged in the different categories than my normally visited places, that should be clear 😃 Black risotto I enjoyed a lot, perfect fit with olive oil and seafood. Traditional Croatian pasta with tomato sauce, ricotta and 6 shrimps - hmm, not in the same level of taste, presentation and experience, but same price as black risotto. We needed to wait sone time for a bill and card terminal, but it was just because of a lazy Sunday. In general - nice place, worth visiting.

What a gem ! This restaurant is probably the best one we have been to in Pula. We ate there 3 times it was that nice. The fish was fresh, desserts were stunning and the view on the marina was amazing. The service was excellent, special thank you to Kristina who made sure our experience was memorable.

This is not a high quality restaurant, it's rather Istrian avarege+. We booked a table for our anniversary and because of the Michelin recommendations. It was good, a bit different than everywhere else where you have the same menu. Nice to try, yet still really nothing special. The service wasn't great, the waiter seemed like he needs to rush everytime he approached our table, even though there were just few tables to serve. Saying this I'd come back, but I'd rather come without any "Michelin expectations".

I travelled to Vietnam and Malaysia in June of 2025 and engaged in a hunt for every Michelin starred and nod eatery so I’m Asian geared for Michelin restaurants. This one was excellent with a great wine list and exceptional service, but I was not blown away by the food and I’ve come to expect that from a Michelin establishment. That said, I ate there twice! Service is hospitable and the ambient is amazing. The prices are a bit higher but worth it. Great view at the harbor but still a quiet location - highly recommended!

We pulled into the harbor across the walkway from this restaurant after boating around the Brijuni Islands and lunched at this perfectly located restaurant. Relax and enjoy a plethora of fresh seafood options whilst people watching and enjoying the fresh sea air. Their salt crusted sea bass was the best I've ever had as well as the largest lobster pasta dish that easily fed four people. Highly recommend stopping here if you find yourself in Fazana!

Amazing experience at Restoran Korta in Fažana! The food was delicious and fresh, with a great variety of options—including a fantastic gluten-free pizza that was one of the best I've ever had. It's not easy to find good gluten-free options while traveling, so this was a real treat. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about dietary needs, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole evening even better. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area—especially for anyone looking for great food with gluten-free choices!

Amazing location, wonderful food and drink selection. I can highly recommend the grilled squid (very fresh) and the salami pizza. The views were amazing, the staff were very polite and kind, and had just the right level of attentiveness.

We had an excellent experience at Gaucho Steakhouse. The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating, even with half of our group arriving significantly late. I also highly recommend their Istrian Mule cocktail. While it is not inexpensive, it is well worth the price.

A wonderful restaurant. Karim was a great host. His attention to detail and service were amazing. Our third visit here and definitely the best. The Tomahawk was perfect and cannot recommend this experience and the food enough.

We didn’t have actual steaks we had the platter which was fantastic and easily fed the 6 of us (plus a fabulous sourdough pizza) Saddam was an excellent server, Great food, great service, great everything!

We were looking for a good steakhouse in Pula and came across Gaucho Steakhouse through a flyer where we were staying. After checking it out on Google Maps, we immediately decided to give it a try and it definitely surpassed our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, the meat cooked perfectly, and the service was outstanding. We were a group of 4 adults, each with a baby, and the staff were incredibly attentive to us. At one point, when my baby got a little impatient, what I believe was the manager kindly offered to take her for a little walk so we could enjoy our meal in peace – such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that really stood out to us. We didn’t even get the chance to take a picture, as having babies with us kept us busy. But that only shows how much we were enjoying the moment. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the service top-notch, and the food simply amazing. If I could suggest one small thing, it would be to lower the music just a bit inside the restaurant, as it was a little loud at times. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Gaucho Steakhouse to anyone visiting Pula. We’ll definitely be back before the end of our vacation! 🥩✨

We booked here based on Google reviews and were sorely disappointed with the quality of the steaks and prepared vegetables. The servers were fantastic- they were courteous, friendly, personable and had a good sense of humor. Ordered pizza’s for the kids which were good. Our friends ordered burgers which also were good. We ordered the plate for two looking forward to the pecanha, amongst other other items coming in the plate. The salsiccia was burned on the outside and dry/overgrilled, the meat was tasteless and incredibly tough. Even the picanha was overgrilled and charred on the fat which is usually my favorite part. There was chimichurri and a white sauce and a bowl of raw red onions as condiments. They saved the meat somewhat. Of positives - the ribs were perfect, fall-off-the bone and very nice, not overly smoky BBQ sauce and the potatoes were also good. I ordered a side of asparagus with Parmesan and the asparagus were boiled to obliteration, limp and very chewy. I think they forgot the salt here as well. Recommendation for improving consistency and flavor of meat would be to marinate and salt well. It’s not difficult to make amazing steak 🥩 but unfortunately this meal failed terribly. I told the server regarding the asparagus that it might not be a bad idea to actually steam them «al dente» next time.

The first picture was taken 2 years ago. The 2. and 3. picture was taken today. Then, you got 5 burgers instead of 3 for same price(78kn) with a big slice of bacon...and you got a delicius potatoes. Now, you get a smaller and less good bread, with less bacon(almost none) less ingredients, and the french fries were cheapest frozen ,and terrible. It was a big disappointment for today.

We've read about this place as being one of the top dining experiences Fažana has to offer, and being somewhat of burger enthusiasts, we were eager to pay them a visit, or maybe even a few during our stay. However, the experience was underwhelming. The place itself is a few minutes' walk from the bustling town center, so it already has a nice calm vibe. Adding to that is that it has beautiful outside seating in a lovely unpretentious Mediterranean backyard, with plenty of space between tables. The background music playing was 80s Top 40. All these things show they do care about creating an ambiance, but let's also see about food, right? They have a reasonably expansive drinks selection with an accent on, naturally, craft beers, both local and international. The burgers come in variety of Black Angus, local beef and boškarin patties, along with the regular accomplices of fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, etc., and if your date isn't into food all that much, there's salads. Unfortunately, one of our party has a diet restriction and is not allowed to have any dairy or soy in their food. We talked to the waitress, she was knowledgeable about which meals were made with these ingredients, and helpfully suggested a burger with lettuce instead of the bun, seeing the buns were made with milk. Having our order sorted with the helpful waitress, we were pretty excited about the food, as it was a long day and were really hungry. Though the place has only about a dozen tables, we waited for more than an hour to get our food. And, on the specially ordered non-dairy burger - a big slice of cheese proudly melting on the patty. Of course we complained, they apologized, but then again we had to wait for another 20 minutes to get the burger, with no lettuce 'buns' and practically no sides. We had our food, it tasted nice, but we were just not in the mood any more to enjoy it. The dairy incident aside; it was a mistake, it can happen to everyone, we do not really hold it against the establishment; it still leaves the issue of very slow service. It seemed that the place was understaffed, and the long wait times were really diminishing the experience. Overall, this place does have great food, the atmosphere is wonderful and if they find a way to speed up the service, I'd be more than happy to upgrade the number of stars.

This assessment takes two visits. The first time we encountered a rude and slooooow waitress... but I gave them a second chance anyway. This time the waitress was different, very friendly and helpful. The food is good and the portions are very large. The atmosphere in the bar is great, so I recommend a visit.

Wow, wow, wow. What a gem of a pub! Blanca, the owner, is a beer aficionado and a kind soul - she had great recommendations ready and was the epitome of warmth and welcoming. We stumbled on this pub the first night of our stay and returned several times for drinks or for dinner. And the burgers? WOW. Try the “Ginger.”

Really beautiful evening at Arboretum delicious food and super service cannot recommended enough! The atmosphere is beautiful in a fairy light garden, just loved it.

Amazing location with a garden terrace, crafted beer selection, great burgers and even the choice of side dishes is great (spring rolls in a non chinese restaurant establishment - amazing). A must visit! I definitely will. I had the Miss Daisy burger (double cheese and an egg) with Bura Optimist beer. Great combo. We were a pretty demanding crowd of people going to dinner after work but the staff was kind, nice, helpful and didn't mind the repeated requests for an additional glass of water (be smart and hidrate when you drink) or helping us take the group picture for the 10th time with yet another one of our devices.

If you are near Fažana, one of the local restaurants you need to visit. Sitting in garden, with great beer selection and cusine, makes every summer day and night perfect in this area. As more and.more locals and tourists discover this place, be preparend to wait for the free table, or call in advance for reservation during summer season.

Wonderful small place that's a bit off the tourist track. Outstanding soup, so-so vegetarian fritters, but the highlight of the meal was the chicken poke bowl, which was bursting with a riot of flavors. There's a menu of good choices for vegetarians. Bottled water is only available in 500ml size, not larger. We didn't see (or ask for) any alcoholic drinks.

As a vegetarian finding healthy, vegan and vegetarian options in Croatia is simply too rare to be picky. However, this spot is simple, very nice and the food super fine. We had the tofu poke and the kids the tortellini. Everyone was happy. The staff was extremely friendly!

Amazing place for a satisfying meal in Pula. Loved the vegetarian option (chickpea patties) and wish I could have tried the tortellini too! We also loved the shrimp risotto. Super generous portions so we did a takeaway with whatever we couldn't finish!

my friend and I went there for a brunch. The outdoor seating area looks very cute. The seats are wooden benches and a little bit uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it. The food was very delicious! We had a burrito and a tofu bowl to share. The chicken burrito was very tasty 🤤 But the tofu poke bowl was the best 10/10! I totally recommend it. The prices are reasonable in Pula city.

If you want to eat healthy and fresh, this is the place for you. A variety of fresh ingredients, fair prices, large portions and very friendly staff.

The best pokebowl we have ever had. The dressing was perfectly aligned our tastebuds. The crunchy, thin, pickled beets and cucumber were extremely delicious as well. Our best recommendations. Just dont go there, when we want to eat out. There qre only 12 seats outside, so you may come back later. Even if you have to wait, it is worth it.

The restaurant terrace overlooks the beautiful bay, and is a good option for dinner. Book a table in advance! Skip it for lunch, as summer heat is trapped around the terrace and isn't pleasant. Of course, there is indoor seating, but you don't want to miss out on the view. The food could be better. Black and shrimp risotto are amazing (!), but we were disappointed by the pricey steak salad. The meat just wasn't high quality which you would expect for a "Yacht" restaurant near a 4-star hotel. The wine list is alright. Staff is okay, but could be more friendly.

Great atmosphere, portions somewhat small and no bread. Music was quite loud and annoying- not fitting the location in my opinion. Cocktails were good, prices rather high for the level and amount of food. Still recommend the place for the location and food quality.

Stunning views of the water. Great seating for the person coming out of the water. The shrimp was delicious. The waiter was kind enough to help get the meat out of the shell. The chicken with vegetables was OK, just a little dry. Yummy iced coffee.

I happen to visit Yacht during weekend with a friend We chose this reataurant for its friendly staff and stunning beachfront location, it did not disaapoint The ambience is unbeatable we enjoyed our meal with the soothing sound of waves. Yacht offers a perfect blend of delicious food, excellent service, and a stunning beachside setting. A pleasant seaside dining spot, this restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere with great views of the sea. We visited for an early dinner as it closes at 8pm. Seated near the swimming pool, which added to the casual feel. ​The food was good—I particularly enjoyed the Rissotto, which was fresh and well-prepared. The prices were reasonable for the quality. However, the service was a bit slow, and we had to wait longer than expected for our drinks and main courses. ​As we were finishing our meal, the staff began cleaning, with mops and cleaning supplies appearing in our dining area. It was a bit distracting and felt like they were in a hurry to close, which detracted from the experience. ​Overall, it's a good spot for a casual meal with a beautiful view. If you don't mind a leisurely pace and the possibility of some early closing preparations, it's a solid choice.

This place is lovely. It’s sunny and right by the shore, with a beautiful sea view from inside. The service is friendly and fast - no long waiting times for food, which is a big plus. The food is fantastic and reasonably prices possibly a bit cheaper compared to Pula's Old town. The views are incredible!!! The wait staff speak multiple languages and are incredibly professional, kind, and genuine, especially (Robert)! Honestly eating here feels like a dream!!!

The location is just wonderful with great views and a feeling of space. We have eaten here now 3 times and each time the service has been good and the food excellent. The range of options available mean you should find something to your liking. Definitely recommended

Portion size is small, we had to order 3 dishes to our family (2 adults + 4 years old) and it was just enough food. Food quality was pretty low, octupus was very chewy, way worse than the average person can cook at home. Calamari was chewy as well, but not as bad. Čevapćići was good. Soft drink prices were fine, if you order the larger bottles. The view is amazing, one of the best you can get.

The first time we came here the waiter put an extra dish on your bill. We let it slide , as a mistake and we paid . The second time we came back we found a METAL thing in the food . We waited so long for someone to take the plates and when we told them about it , we had to wait again a long time and no one came back to apologise at least , till I decided to ask for the bill. The last waiter asked us how was the food and we told him about it , he apologised and offered a coffee, that was the only one who seemed to care . The view it’s nice and the food wasn’t that bad , but after founding that in the food , we are definitely not coming back here .

The service was very quick. The food was great and not in large portions. For three people with appetizers, main dishes and desserts included you will need at least 130 euros. All in all I would recommend you this restaurant if it's your first time in Fasana.

We chose this restaurant for our last dinner in Fasana and it was a good choice! The waiter was nice, even funny and helpful. We got to taste bread with squid ink and fresh olive oil which was a pleasant surprise. The food was very tasty, especially the beef steaks. Would definitely come back.

A beautiful venue right beside the water in Fazana. We came here right after spending the day in Brijuni national park. Our server was friendly and attentive. There are many local/Istrian dishes as well as a lot of variety in main dish offerings. The traditional Istrian pasta (pljukanci) with truffles was to die for. The Nutella panna cotta was delicious!

The foods are delicious, especially the seafoods plate. The price is reasonable low. The restaurant is at perfect location with stunning views, it’s a good place to observe sunset while you enjoy your meal. The only problem is that the restaurant is overcrowded and stuffs are too busy to have real contact/communication with customers. Service need to be improved. We had two dinners here during our stay in Fazana

Sardines (sardele na savor) were great. For the main we took fish plate for two persons, some of the food was very good, some not so much. The best were the sea bass and potatoes.

Great local restaurant, where you can get good local food like "sea polyp salad" that you mostly don't find anywhere else. Peices are ok. Quality of the food is awesome. Staff is very friendly. Parking lot right in front of the restaurant, but beware when driving into it, because the difference from the road to the parking lot can harm your car. Drive slowly. Also don't park near the trash bins.

This was one of my better food experience here in Kroatia. The steak was amazing and coocked to perfection. The service was top notch, and to top it of they had great beer aswell. The chairs were comfortable and the whole atmosphere around the tables was just one of a kind. I highly recommend to dine at this place.

Too expensive for simple fries with small piece of meat (between 20,- and 35,-). No vegetables or other creative and tasteful supplements, that would show some love for what they offer to their guests. Even if you want Ketchup or Mayonnaise it is 2,- euro each. Spezi with postmix cola is 8,-. Location plus view is not even very interesting. They only want to make money.

The seafood platter was delicious, the pasta was tasteless, and they charge 15€ for 1L of poorly carbonated Pepsi. Overall disappointing.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we were welcomed by the kindest lady who gave us fantastic recommendations for local dishes to try. Everything we ordered was delicious: from the pizza to the local specialties like the squid. The quality of the food was outstanding, especially considering how affordable the prices are. We even came back twice! A true gem!

For fried calamari and a beer I paid half the price I paid the day before in other place. The atmosphere and the staff are lovely and attentive. We had lunch here, 2 people. The location was not full,so we got the table fast . The food is decent . Can't say tasty, as the servings were simple. Calamari and fries, fish and grilled vegetables . Wirh the service was a bit of issues even the waiter tried to be nice. The confused the sides first. Then took back to the kitchen and changed to correct way ( thanks for this). I asked for a glass of water as in every restaurant/cafe/ bar in Croatia you can get it for free. But here they refused, you either buy a bottle which is 4 times more expensive than in the supermarket, or you don't have water in the middle of the summer when it's+40 outside. It felt strange. All in all you can get lunch here with the reasonable price as the quality and taste of the dishes are the same level, not impressive.

Best ĆEVAPČIĆi in Pula! Locals frequent this place. Which is always a good sign! They have the best food and most fair prices. The owners (siblings) are super friendly and I always enjoy talking to them. They even let me borrow a photography book for a few days that was in the restaurant. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience here. Very busy but I was seated quickly, and the staff worked flat-out during a busy service. The pizza I had was simply fantastic, the creamiest Gorgonzola I have ever tried. The cheese plate was really good and the garlic bread is really delicious. The main courses themselves were perhaps not quite to our taste. The salmon pasta was in tomato sauce. However, the portions were quite edible. Our waiter was perhaps newer and a bit clumsy. But she served with a smile and kindness.

The restaurant was simply good, but not the greatest. The staff was friendly, however there was one server that was visibly starting to work so he was a bit messy. The food was also ok. My grilled calamari were a bit too long on the grill, but they were good anyway. However, the fried calamari were mediocre. From other dishes the pasta di mare was very tasty, the pizza was also just ok, same as cevapi. The spot outside was very nice, and the inside of the bar is one of the very few places in the world where you can still smoke inside.

Old City Pub Pula Really nice & gentle on a weekday, weekends I hear are different 🤣 Plenty of space in a lovely square, just off the beaten tourist track. Food is good but with ok service, not attentive. Sports shown on numerous TVs indoors & out without volume as not to disturb?? Weekends I'm told are vibrant with this one of the stops on the Beer crawl routes, could be good

We are there for 5 adults and 3 young children on a rainy Monday and we had a great time. The plates are quite generous ! We ate hamburgers, cheeseburger, honey chicken sandwich and a chicken salad with some fries and it was good. The cook was very friendly with the kids and even gave us a free iced tea. I am vegetarian and i went there with my boyfriend we had Mediterraneo sandwich with mozzarella tomato and pesto. It was delicious! And their veggie burger from different vegetables is really delicious! The prices also are very good and they have a nice place you can sit down and enjoy your meal 😉 We will go again for sure!

We had sandwiches, fries and a salad. Everything was super fresh and big portions for an affordable price. Definitely a recommendation!

We've always enjoyed this restaurant - we typically dine here in the winter, and the meals have usually been delightful. However, our recent visit was disappointing. The amuse-bouche was a dry tuna pâté served with a dry tortilla, which lacked flavor and did not set a positive tone for the meal. We started with the beef tartare, a dish we've enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, this time it was poorly executed. The tartare meat was mixed with an excessive amount of mustard and other flavors, completely masking it. It was so poorly executed that it felt like an insult, especially given the restaurant's reputation and price point. We hope this was an isolated incident, but it definitely was enough for us to lose confidence in the restaurant.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! We went on my birthday with no reservation due to bad planning. It was extremely rainy on that day and we stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff was very sweet and found us a table very quickly. The food was easily the best i have had in the area. Excellent meal and service!

With the limited restaurant options available in the local area we thought we would give this restaurant a try. Coming from the heart of London we are no stranger to expensive restaurants and fine dining. Upon entering this restaurant we weren’t greeted with a smile, but with a face of disgust almost. Like we didn’t belong there. Before sitting us down at a table the waiter made us look through the menu hinting that we might not be able to afford eating there. After 5 minutes she came back and asked us if it was okay, we politely said yes and she took us to the table. Upon being seated at the table we were again handed the food menu to look through. Only once we had requested a drinks menu was one handed to us. To our surprise there were no wines listed on the drinks menu. When we requested one, we were told that it wasn’t available due to “the wine list being busy”. I had to look through the website online to find a wine and stopped the waiter to ask her to order the bottle we wanted. She said that she had to check if they had the wine available and diss appeared into the wine cellar for what felt like 10 minutes. In this time we had no water at the table and when she did re appear from the wine cellar she left our bottle on the side and attended another table. Many minutes went by with our wine sitting there getting warmer and with no water on the table we had no choice but to leave and asked another waiter to cancel our order. Unless you are from the local area and speak the language or have a reservation we wouldn’t not recommend this place as we felt so unwanted and uncomfortable.

Sounds like a classic case of a restaurant with “elite ambitions,” where the atmosphere seems to matter more than guest comfort 😄 If the weather is bad and you don’t show up “in a white collar”, they won’t seat you right away — first they’ll hand you the menu to flip through, maybe to check if you can even afford their restaurant 😂😂 The meat was delicious, the octopus was rubbery. Since we were dressed in casual, sporty clothes, they seated us in the back room where we were alone — and only turned on the music about 10 minutes later The presentation of the dishes was great, and the complimentary starter from the chef was a nice touch

Expensive for what you get. Service adequate but not great. Food good but over expensive compared to other similar restaurant. Asked for sea bass for 3 people and it was cooked and prepared well but very expensive and much more than expected. We have had seabass at a number of restaurants and have been 1.2-2.3 kg. So surprised when bill was so high at 1.7kg. See bill.., be warned ask how heavy fish is!!!

My God! What a treasure. I passed by accidentally. What luck. Fortuna has been serving its customers patisserie in Pula since 1948. That’s 76 years of perfecting handed down recipes from their predecessors. My past husband was a professionally trained European patisserie, and I have very high standards. Try the Kifla, made with roasted walnuts. The service was friendly and welcoming. Clean and comfy for a cup of coffee and a slice of heaven. Thank you!

The staff behaved in a shameful, almost aggressive way. When we asked for an ice cream (there were two of us), the waiter shouted back that in Croatia, if you want to have a table, each person must order something. I strongly advise against this place; nowhere else in the world have we ever been treated in such an obscene manner.

We came in as a group to get drinks for our elderly parents, one of whom is in a wheelchair, so they could cool down on a hot day. The plan was to sit with them, step out briefly to walk the street market, and return in 20 minutes to enjoy more drinks together. Before we could even place our order, the waiter immediately assumed we were trying to misuse the space. He rudely told us we couldn’t “just sit and leave,” even though we were in the process of ordering and explained our plans. It felt like he was making assumptions based on how we looked — and it came across as clear racial profiling. When I ordered an iced coffee and asked a simple question, he spoke to me condescendingly, as if I didn’t understand. The drink was overfilled, and when I tried to insert the straw, it spilled. Instead of helping, he blamed me and started lecturing me on how to drink it — seriously. When I expressed how unfair and disrespectful his behavior was, he tried to excuse it by saying he’d had a stressful day and that “even people from his own country” do this — further revealing his biases. To top it off, they only accepted cash and didn’t tell us until the end, even though other reviews say card payment is accepted inside. It felt dishonest. We didn’t finish our drinks. We paid and left. If you’re a tourist or a person of color, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. You deserve to be treated with basic respect

Chocolate ice cream were good. Melon also tasted fine. Nothing special but tastes like a well made ice cream. On the street stand of Fortuna scoop cost 2 euro each. 3+

We’d been trying to find a spot in Pula for some coffee and cake with our little dog when we stumbled across this place. Not only was the outdoor space right next to a little park (which our little fella loved!)but the service, desserts and hot drinks were all excellent :) so much so that we stayed for 2 rounds of cake and drinks! So much of Pula has been shut during our visit so this was such a lovely find!

The location is excellent outdoor tables on the main avenue that leads from the Pula Arena to the centre. Good service the staff and kind and professional speak several languages Italian English German in addition to their mother tongue Croatian.

Today we chose Ošteria Gina for dinner and did not regret it. I was amazed by the concept of the restaurant with an authentic design. Very nice staff and most importantly delicious fish of different types. Thank you for the evening

Went there in summer 2024, very small but very comfortable and with a wonderful view. Since its only a one man Restaurant the seating is very limited so we would recommend to call in beforehand. The Cook/Server/Owner prepared a fresh fish plate with potatoes and bread. The variability of the fish was more than satisfying and everything was on point. Overall it was a very unique kind of experience. Would definitly go there again if we happen to come by.

This was an extraordinary experience in the sense that one cannot find such an experience elsewhere. Max provides a personalised experience to every customer and works in his unique ways. He only uses fresh catch of the day and thus the menu varies. The food is simple and designed to let the natural flavours of the produce speak for itself - which is delicious. The homemade lavender ice-cream is perhaps the best one could ever have. The restaurant’s ambience is quite cosy, with nice views. The only downside (for some people) is that you have to invest both time and money.

The most unique place I have ever dined in. The owner cooks, serves and is so personal. Only dines a couple guests in his home and need a reservation to eat but worth it. We loved the place and service by Ivan. Had a selection of steaks with some fantastic sauces and little potatos with feta cheese. Kids had lovely grilled chicken. Ribs were also just sensational! The chef made it perfectly medium rare. Would definitely come back!

We had the grill plate for two. The size was really enough and there was a large selection of meat. Everything tasted very good, including the flatbread. The service was very nice. The wait was a little longer because it was busy, but it was still ok. We'd love to go again.

I had the Campo steak, it was very good though not excellent. It was very rare, not even close to medium, also very salty and the pepper sauce was full of lumps. Raw onions on the side is not really a common choice for serving a steak. Also it is very strange that there is no serious wine available per glass, only in bottles. You need a few sommelier-selected wines for the steaks. As you have a great steak selection and aged meat, I would expect some more sophisticated approach. Nevertheless, it's still a great place with high quality fresh food!

Last night we were there and it was a perfect experience, whatever we ate and drank! We took small menu, started with on the house 3 small starters (delicious) then ceviche, seabass with sweet potato and beans, and then 2 different deserts (I liked the ice cream one more!), Malvasia wine and Sur lie Chardonnay were cherry on top 🍒 Staff was very friendly, explaning and sharing details we asked. If you are searching for a fine-dining experience in Pula, definetely to go!

If there were an option, I'd give this restaurant a 15/10, but would not know where to start when it comes to our impression! Antonija and Petar, these creatures of heaven that served us, managed to make our evening delightful, relaxed and the most enjoyable experience in Pula. Apart from their warm and positive energy that erased the formal distance between a host and a guest, they managed to gently keep us in the loop regarding each type of dish we were consuming at that moment, as well as to why that specific wine selection is paired with the said dish. They even managed to find a red wine I really enjoyed, and I was up until that point a white wine girl! You could definitely distinguish their impeccable taste in food and drinks, and also their ever growing experience in hospitality industry. This restaurant and its staff really make the 'fine' in the fine dining!

Backyard Trattoria is a wonderful (the best of Pula) restaurant near the arena of Pula. For people loving gastronomic food, this is the place to be. We took the degustation menu, however you can also choose for two smaller menu´s. Also the wine is fantastic. The sommelier knows his wines and listens very carefully to understand your expectations to serve you the best wine. For me, they deserve a place in the Gault Millau or Michelin!

This was our second visit to the restaurant. After the first visit, I usually don’t leave reviews, as inconsistency in service throughout the seasons is often disappointing. However, I can say that since our first visit two years ago — which was already worthy of an excellent rating — this time our experience was even better. The service was excellent, and the food just as good. The extremely friendly staff made it possible for us to enjoy a relaxed and outstanding dinner. We chose the 3-course menu with an additional lobster dish, and it was more than enough for us — the dishes were flawless and perfectly executed. The wonderful young waitress gave us excellent wine recommendations, and when we were choosing what to eat, we also enjoyed some freshly prepared lobster. For the amuse-bouche, aperitif, 3-course menu (we each chose different dishes so we could try as many as possible), lobster dish, wine pairing, and digestif, we paid €199.50. A fair price. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone in Pula looking for a special culinary experience.

Food was really nice, we had a wrap filled with hummus and falafel which was really nice to eat on the go while exploring Pula. Would recommend if you like vegetarian food and look for fastfood but in a healthy way. I think they also have meaty options. Price was 7€ for a wrap which was really okay!

My girlfriend and I went here two days in a row and ordered Paninis. On the second day my girlfriend noticed a big slug crawling out of her Panini. She almost ate it. The staff is friendly and the taste of the Paninis is okay. They are a little bit dry but not too expensive. On the first day we also ordered smoothies but they were a little tasteless.

It says it in the name. Very FRESH!!! Perfect meal if you're still trying to site see without feeling lazy. The Mexicana wrap was great!!! Smoothies were extremely fresh also. Refreshing and naturally sweet. Not overly sweet like something you get from the US. Also very reasonably-priced.

A small places with 5-6 chairs along the wall, food is fresh and very tasty ( even our avocado 🥑 checken wrap didn't have any avocado... we still liked it very much). Great for fresh light health food. If you have only small hunger this is a great place for you since you can order small or big sized dish. It would be better if they also can sell hummus as a dip, so far it's always in a big bread more as a sandwich.

We grabbed two fresh sandwiches for our beach afternoon, and this was such an unexpected added value! Even eaten 2 hours later, you could feel the delicious taste of the chicken wrap. Ingredients are all fresh and nicely wrapped. Do not hesitate :)

Very good and honest cuisine, the place has been going for decades already and it’s always trusted. They know what they do and they do it well, at very good prices, with large portions and proper “restaurant service”. This week they were serving as a dessert for the day gnocchi with plums, and I swear they were as good as my mother in law’s. Does not get better praise than that!

Food was great - we’ve had scallops as a starter and then shared the tris di calamari which was delicious. However the service was mediocre. Waiter did not really pay attention and was very often uncommunicative and seemingly unwelcoming. Wait time was long, even for getting the receipt and getting change we’ve had to wait some time. We had to pay 3€ for bread that we didn’t order, which was brought at the start (which we thought was complementary, like it usually is).

I'd say it's a hidden gem. In an ordinary residential neighborhood, this restaurant offers a wide-ranging menu, delicious dishes, reasonable prices, and friendly service.

If you are in the mood for old-school cooking and menu item choices, this is the place for you. Here, you can experience what the locals ate in restaurants in past times, cooked competently, with no surprises but also with nothing to complain about. The prices are reasonable, the staff is efficient. If “eat like a local” is your thing, this is the place to go.

Despite some not so good reviews from others, we had a fabulous meal & evening at Bonaca. The scallop starter lovely, fish of the day superb and I had the steak which was melt in your mouth delicious. I was celebrating a significant birthday and it was a perfect evening and setting. Finished off with birthday cake and complimentary liquors. Special mention for our waiter Lazar who was fabulous! Thank you 🤩

True Oasis on the Coast ​A short, rural walk on a blistering hot day brought us to what felt like a little oasis. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely welcome that matched the incredible views. The restaurant is built into the cliffside, with steps leading down to a flat rock beach. Terraces on numerous levels that offer plenty of space to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. ​On our first visit, we only stopped by for drinks. We were immediately taken with the atmosphere, and the dishes we saw coming out of the kitchen looked so appealing that we knew we had to return for a proper meal. ​We returned on a busy Sunday evening without a reservation, and after a short wait, a table was found for us. It was clear the service was busy, so a bit of patience was needed, but with views like these and in such a calming environment, it was easy to just sit back and enjoy the moment. The atmosphere is quiet and low-volume, with no background music. The only sound is the gentle lapping of waves against the rocks below, which creates a truly serene dining experience. ​The food did not disappoint. The steak and the fish of the day were superb. Children's menu is limited but extremely well prepared at around €11. Dress is smarter than most other resturants nearby and with the menu €28 to €48 for a main, but is 100% worth it With people smiling everywhere tells us Bonaca has got it right.

I had a dinner and lunch 2 days in a row. Very tasty cuisine and a nice choice of wine even by glass. Not the cheapest place in the area but it worth visiting if you appreciate a good service and enjoy life😉

The view from this place is absolutely stunning and reason enough to visit. Thankfully, the experience doesn't stop there. The food is also top-notch, and the staff are incredibly nice, making for a truly perfect outing.

We visited this restaurant and tried the Artichoke shrimp salad and fish soup. The food was tasty, but the prices are quite high. I would definitely recommend the fish soup — for €7 it was really delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was simply amazing — we sat with a stunning view of the sea and one of the most beautiful sunsets.

Came here for drinks. We made a reservation, but unfortunately it got cancelled because of the rain (which we didn’t know about). Yet, the waiter made sure we are comfortable waiting for the table and then, in 2 minutes, he sat us inside. Nice drinks, good selection and strong. Lovely view :)

Amazing, this is a place I eat in everyday. Mostly vegetarian, but they also have a chicken option. - Location: situated in a pedestrian alley in a calm and shaded area. The interior is modern, clean and funky. - Food: the best vegetarian food you’ll find in Pula. The only place I want to eat everyday for it’s consistency, quality and variety. Every day they have a different ‘sareni’ (colourful) plate, so it’s always creative, delicious and healthy. Price / Value for money: following the street food concept of, cheaper to eat out than cook at home, this lives up to its reputation. This place is a modern day street food restaurant with high quality produce and personnel. Staff: the owner runs the place, and her staff are professional and very kind. It’s like eating at your friend’s house! If you are adventurous, you will need to discover this place on your stay in Pula. Recommended!

Gourmet Restaurant indeed! Super fresh ingredients were used - for starters we had fish campancio and cold fish, and you can taste the freshness of the fish. Then the pasta- WOW! In the city center near the main market, in the shade of old trees. The staff does their job very well, the food is good, they offer super daily brunch and every day diferent menu for fair price. It is a place I will visit again.

Went here for a coffee in the morning and ended up having breakfast too. Our server Slobodan was great - friendly and helpful. Coffee and food were very good, and service was great! I looked at the menu and the food looked interesting so we decided to come back later for lunch. We had a great time. Our server Jovana was amazing! So attentive, friendly, professional and helpful. The food was great and the atmosphere is nice. Try it out!

Very nice selection of Istrian food and definately worth it if you want to get a bit away from the more “touristy” places. We went there twice during our vacation in Pula. Both visits were great and the personel is super nice. Thank you!

I recently ate at a Pjero Istrian Gourmet restaurant with delicious food. The atmosphere was incredible and the service was outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was exquisite. All praise for the chef! The quality of the ingredients was spot-on as well. Every dish was a delight. I highly recommend this place!

The place is by the green market - a little bit aside from the busy centre, walking a few minutes, you will appreciate more quiet in the evening. Thank you for such a pleasant time!

During my stay in Pula I visited the restaurant a few times. The food is amazing and delicious. You should try the seafood, the fish is so fresh and nicely prepared. The staff was very friendly, and on Sundays and Mondays there is live music which makes the atmosphere even better. I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely lovely Pizzeria that serves gluten-free pizza without you having to book in advance - I cannot enhance how much I appreciate that. Service was fast, accurate and always with a smile, the waitress we managed to get every time we were there was more than accommodating and always very nice. Very popular with families which can make the place a little noisy on the inside but the outdoor seats were great.

Probably the best pizza in Pula. The menu is interesting and inventful, the staff is phenomenal. If you are in the mood for pizza, this is the place to go. I know it is in a shopping mall and you would not expect quality food in a shopping mall, but this place breaks that rule.

The service was weird, one waiter got our order, another one brought it, not very talkative or interested in the customer. The place is in a mall so the atmosphere isn’t the best. But solely for the food this place deserves a higher rating.

It's very nice. Not a particular ambient, being in a mall, it is quite a simple restaurant, but the pizza is great and interesting - some flavours we've never tried before. If you like very traditional pizza you might not be as interested, or take the capricciosa, but if you are up for experimenting with taste, take one of the Italian specialties - mortadela salami and pistachio pesto.

Great pizza! We asked for double prosciutto and they gave us a LOT of prosciutto so that was very much appreciated. Good fluffy dough, I believe it’s sourdough as well, good amount of choice but not overwhelming. It did take quite long to come, nearly an hour, which for a place that small was a bit of a surprise. However if you’re not in a rush then it doesn’t matter. It’s convenient next to the mall too.

Very bad experienced. The lady waitress with the Red Hair was not approachable at all. She gave me wrong order of pizza. The coffee was served cold. She was mad when I ask for ice. She never go back in the table to check if everything is fine. The bill is takes time to come even the restaurant is not that busy. No condiments served. She was totally rude and she never come back in my table. I ask for the bill 3x and she ignored me. And she let me wait inside to pay You need to improve your Guest service. Not value for money. The pizza looks average, but tastes amazing. The sauce has a little spice kick to it and really made this pizza great. The service was quick and they are dog friendly. Highly suggest this unassuming pizza place for a quick bite!

Great breakfast! I had the red rooster but they have more varieties. They all come with coffee/tea and some orange juice. I think it’s a great combo for the price! And the place is nice, the music is cool and the staff are very kind. I recommend it 100%!

Today I visited this amazing, picturesque place that my wife and I stumbled upon, and it really surprised me. The prices were very reasonable, the pizza was excellent, and the service was absolutely wonderful. The gentleman was very helpful, kind, and most importantly, humble. I recommend it with all my heart and would love to come back next time.

Great place to have a nice and big breakfast before a day at the beach. For about 10 euros, you get a meal including a cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice. The service was very friendly and attentive. Loved the decor and feel inside.

Good pizzas and good services! All the pizzas had the same prices and the weren’t many options on the menu, two good signs for a proper pizzeria! They had some breakfast dishes that seem to be served all day long and some Bosnian desserts. The interior was cozy even though the space and the dining tables were small. It’s overall perfect combination of Italy and Bosnia, in the heart of Pula!

Had a nice meal, I asked for fries instead of a bun with my dish so that was good. But the service took so much time, it's definitely a tourist place, and the waiters are not really happy. Ps- Just reduced from 3 stars to 2 after taking so long also to just pay ..

Haven't tried the Cocktails because they seemed to be overpriced compared to their other local drinks. We tried the local malvazia and local muscat. Both were really good! Definitely recommended wines to anyone visiting Croatia. The atmosphere of the bar is ok and the music is nice. They dont accept debit cards only cash, which is not convenient so make sure you have cash with you.

We were looking for another restaurant and had trouble finding it, so ended up here instead. Felt like we were eating out of someone's house and served by a grandma, which sounds like it might be nice. However, it felt very disorganized. We weren't even offered water. The food was just mediocre. And it was expensive.

We were looking for a simple diner but unfortunately the food was not good. Squid was chewy, fries soft and the gnocchi chewy, chees saus was split and without taste. So hope the owner reads the reviews and will improve the food, otherwise walk through to the restaurants next to the food market!

We had a lovely relaxing lunch, tucked away in a quiet street in beautiful Pula. My tuna salad was perfectly dressed and the tuna was light and delicious. The Aperol spritz was very strong, which is just how I like it!

Food was amazing, we had the stuffed calamari (squid) and the octopus. The taste was really good. Service was really nice, the people where sweet and helpt us choose. Also great wine! Only complaint is that we waited really long for our food, but is was worth it!!

Perfect hidden restaurant with very good prices for the sea food. We found it on our way to another restaurant which was rated with 5* but when we saw the waiter there we turned out and tried this Romantic Alley and it was the best decission! They have a daily menu (you can choose either fish menu or meat menu: soup,main course and desert). We had fish menu - they are offering fried sea food with french fries but we asked if it’s possible to make it grilled and with salad and there was no problem with that at all. Also we wanted a beer but draft, first we ordered Karlovačko but it was only in a bottle and the waitress was also so kind and told us she will bring us draft beer - it wasn ´t a problem either!😍 Overall we paid (for 2 menus,2 draft beers and 2 coffees with milk) almost 60€ what is a perfect price nowadays in Croatia. The food and the service was excellent!!!

Flaviani's stir-fried ice cream also known as rolled ice cream. It is less creamy and milky and a bit more "frozen" than plain ice cream. I had caramel biscuit, it didn't have a rich taste.

The staff is really sweet and friendly. Good range of options to choose from, with the most unique being the truffle roll ice cream! It was surprisingly delicious and very special.

Location is good, however, I find it rude of a such a place to serve 1/3 cup of orange juice, staff has no manner either and coffee is one of the worst I've tasted. Toilets could use some bug spray too

Poor service. We ordered food and only my mums food was brought out, and he told me sorry we don’t have you’re. Go to the bakery around corner. Rude staff. So we didn’t get the option to cancel both meals and had to eat seperately instead. Average coffee. Bad toast that mum got.

Busy night but our barman had his work cut out to try to serve everyone on the night of the Pula marathon working most of the night by himself. Came back again at 11.30pm and Daniel was still working but with a smile on his face. Great atmosphere, great prices on drinks.

Really nice little cafe/bar which has a hidden gem of a roof terrace overlooking the arena. We visited during daytime, and were the only ones there. I feel it could be advertised more that the place has a beautiful roof terrace, as its easy to walk past without noticing. The barman was very friendly, and offered suggestions re: cocktails. Every cocktail was great. View was great from the terrace and I'd imagine it's really nice at night. Lacking a bit in atmosphere due to time of day and lack of customers however to be expected during off-peak season and daytime. We didn't eat here so can't comment on food.

Nice place facing the Pula Arena. It still has the flavour of the old cafés. It looks like it acts as a cultural centre. It has even a theatre inside. Although you can sit outside, I strongly recommend to go to the roof terrace

Came in for a hot chocolate to escape the rain, but ended up staying the rest of the night with many more cocktails! The rooftop bar was lovely when the sun peeked out at golden hour, and the place transformed into an elegant bar by night. Daniel gave us a great experience, introducing many different cocktails to us, and different ways of exploring Croatia and the culture here. I would highly reccomend this to anyone visiting Pula and we are looking forward to our next visit again.

Nice and cozy caffe bar with a roof terrace with a best view in Pula. It has a good atmosphere and connection with the name. Reasonable prices and good drinks and coffee.

Excellent, tasty and fresh coffee served by very friendly and helpful staff 🙂. We stopped by almost every single day during our stay in Pula. The interiors really catch your attention, and after exploring them you can head up to the rooftop terrace, where you’ll find a perfect view of the area and an amazing perspective of the coliseum. Everyone there is smiling – both the staff and the visitors. We met some wonderful people there 🙂. Best regards from Poland 👋🤝 P.S. Your Croatian version of an Americano, for Polish visitors, is the best in the region 🫶. Unfortunately the coffee is produced by an automatic machine... So nothing really special The food is okeish, I cannot complain. If you are hungry and you cannot find anything else around, this place will be fine.

Food is okay, staff is extremely rude. They charge me a higher price than the one written on the menu in the tables, the person at the counter coursed me, grabbed the menu from the tables and literally throws it behind the cash register. I felt really uncomfortable and treated as badly as if I were a thief. Sad for this. Börek was good

Good bakery, but coffe is overpriced (2 eur for coffe in paper cup?). 🙄Price of yoghurt is also quite high (1.8 eur) - I remember the times then normal price was 0.4 eur (few years ago). 🤑 I had a chicken burek here and I was suprised that I liked it more than traditional one ( with beef )

We have spent 4 days in Pula and we got breakfast every day here. Good coffee, good price and great service. Recommended!

Was working remotely from Mlinar. You can charge up your laptop there and eat, drink in peace.

We enjoyed our vegan salads. The sunflower seed nuggets were really tasty. Though the actual salad was pretty boring and the menu said it came with loads of stuff it didn't (carrot, guacamole pea etc...).

interior without identity, discreet service, poured drinks for everyone except one. The octopus with tentacles too long and hard. They asked us to taste their Croatian oil but one of the two bottles at the table was empty. The room was set up for breakfast, too bad we were supposed to have dinner on the night of August 15th. The breakfast refrigerators were behind the tables. The only positive note, the little oil in the bottle was very good, even the bread. It was supposed to be a great dinner and with a great chef in the kitchen, but it was a disaster. Sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️

This place was horrendous. Sprite was for 4€. Beer was cheaper than Sprite. We were waiting for 45 minutes. While we were waiting the waiter came and gave us couverts. He said that it is because of the wait. We didn't think that we were going to paid for it. The food was horrible. It was full of oil. When the food was finally delivered, they didn't give us any cutlery. We didn't have any salt or pepper on the table. Do not go there. There are better restaurants than this.

This restaurant is located on -1 floor at the hotel Brioni. The food is good, but expensive. They said that they are fully booked, but maybe only one table is available. When I was there half of the tables were free all the time.

Finding Monachus distillery at the doorstep of our holliday home was a true revelation. It is not only for their well thought recepies and meticulously distilled spirits - they are one of a kind, but they encompass the wholistic concepts of locally and ecologically sourced ingridients, use recyclable materials, and follow the zero waste idea too. And this means a lot, especially placed in a magnificent nature of Cape Kamenjak, the home of the sun, sea, wind and herbs. Their gins (and other spirits) in the nature of Kamenjak, presented with love by charming owners Anja and Luka, please all of your senses. The beauty is that you can relive all that little moments again and again once back home ;) Would definitely recommend to visit if you are in the vicinity!

A wonderful artisan distillery with a great and unique selection of gins. Love their flagship dry gin, but also the seasonal late summer gin to sip on. Highly recommend, and the owners are very welcoming!

Absolutely blown away by Monachus Gin! The exquisite blend of local herbs gives it a remarkable homemade charm that's truly inspiring. We were greeted by the friendly owners with a display of their craft gins and an intro to the artistry that goes into making them. All their gin flavors are extremely tempting and reflect the surrounding beauty of Istria. We eventually went home with the dry gin, but will be back for others. Highly recommend to all!

By far the best gin I've ever had with some amazing other spirits. I wouldn't say I was a gin drinker but after having a taste Monachus Gin at a cafe bar I was sold. One of the only gins I'd drink straight. I went over to their craft distillery in Premantura with my father (a retired sommelier from New York) to have a tasting with a bit of history and a walk through the distilling process. We were both blown away by everything there - it's now my father's favorite gin too. I highly recommend it. A big thank you to Anja & Luka - we are looking forward to more.

Walking by I thought this restaurant was super cute and then looking at the menu, my husband and I walked back to go. We are so thankful we did! The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. They paired the drinks perfectly, recommended the freshest and best dishes, and even gave you the option to clean the fish themselves at the table. Very personable and friendly staff who work as a team but gave you the space to enjoy your time. The view and breeze was an added bonus. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. Adding to my files of recommended eateries to share with family and friends who travel to Pula!

We visited this restaurant twice whilst on a city break to Pula. The staff are polite, welcoming and efficient. The first night we had seafood which was outstanding and amongst the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. The second night we had steak - perfection. Cooked exactly as it should be - tender and moist. We had desert both nights, again delicious. The recommended wine was perfect. The setting is lovely next to an old part of the town. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, if you are in Pula you MUST visit. The honey liquor is a must. Thank you for two wonderful evenings in your family run restaurant. The love and care you have for the restaurant is obvious in the high quality food and excellent customer service.

The food was tasty but needed to ask for lamb chops to be cooked again as they were a little bit raw. Black risotto was delicious as well as truffle pasta. The white local wine was very good. This place is a little bit expensive for the quality of food served.

I can order expensive food. But this particular instance, the food was average, and the attitude of my service was like to a poor man. What an amazing place! We were there with two adults and a kid. We were all more than satisfied with our food. Taste, fresh and direct from the grill. The staff is very welcoming. But if you want to make sure you have table, make a reservation upfront a day before.

We were here twice and the food was astonishing. I suggest to book before 7:00 pm to skip the queue, after that time you can't book and you have to do the queue at the entrance (I'm writing this review in Summer, I don't know if you can book after the 7:00 pm in other seasons). The hamburgers and tacos were absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying. Each one was served with a side of fries. But the real surprise of the meal was the apple pie. It was, hands down, the best I've ever tasted, even if you're full, you have to order it. It's absolutely worth every bite and you won't regret it.

The burgers are big and filling and each comes with fries and a sauce of your choice. I also recommend to buy their apple pie, it’s really astonishing!
