I randomly went to this place with my friends and everything here the vibes, services, food, drinks was amazing and awesome! Especially the owner was so lovely and we really enjoy pizza and great wine a lot! (We didn’t expect at first but this was a perfect dinner for us!) This really made my day! And we will definitely recommend to people and we will come back if we got back to Mae Hong Sorn again!!🍕

Very nice big enough Pizza (I had the Capricciosa 295 TBH, small Singha beer is 80THB). The restaurant looks very nice inside.

I ordered the pasta dish (promodoro with fettuccine) and I'm sad to say that it was the worst pasta I ever had... Staff and ambiance were nice but the pasta was completely overcooked. I passed by the kitchen to go to the bathroom and it seemed like the food was not made fresh (frozen containers on the counter). As soon as I saw the dish, it looked like a TV diner you would buy at the grocery store and heat up in the microwave (you can tell in the pictures that something was frozen and heated up just by the amount of water there was on the plate). If you come here, try the pizza, not pasta. Pasta was 0/5, pizza was ok... 3/5. For the pasta being 200 bath, I expected it to be better.

Worst pizza and wine ever 🙈. Friendly Thai staff but the owner sits in the restaurant playing cards on his laptop, this is not ok. Pizza has some really weird tasting and smelling cheese on it, definitely not ‘real Italian pizza’. The red house wine was really really bad, it has been a long time since I tasted a wine as bad as this one. Would not recommend :).

Very nice people. They opened up a bit early for me. The place is charming and clean. The food was delicious and affordable. I had basil pork with rice and two eggs. They gave me some complimentary miso soup. I also had a cappuccino, actually two. The coffee was really good. They also have a small retail area with cool travel bags and other odds and ends. I bought a man purse thingy that's somewhere between a fanny pack and a backpack

What a wonderful little oasis to connect with! Napat and friends make veryyy delicious Gateau Basque cake!…like very delicious. As well as great homemade ice cream and very nice sourdough bread. Very pleasant ambiance inside and lovely garden with river sights and sounds outside. Great conversation with her as well. And they have hostel dorm and private rooms next to the river nearby. See you again my friends :)

There should be a rare sixth star to give, namely when I ask myself why humans invented "heaven" when there are such places on Earth as "Little Good Things". Eat a piece of cake, look into the green of the garden, hear the baker lady laugh, and you are on the quickest highway to heaven.

The best breakfast, brunch and coffee in Mae Hong Son. Healthy and vegetarian and vegan options. Delicious avocado toast with really nice bread. The expresso coffee was perfect!!! The nice owner gave us an extra piece of delicious cake to taste. Yummy! Beautiful garden in a relaxing atmosphere! Super recommended! And please be respectful with the rules and staff, they are very friendly and helpful people.

Lovely vegetarian/vegan place with many selection of creative crafted desserts. I tried all of the cakes they had that day and all were surprisingly super good. The quality is way above the price. The staff greeted us with a big smile and was eager to tell us more about their food/desserts. The shop has many seats, a good place to chill or work.

Days before Songkran, town was quite dead till the night market did not open. Few options and chose this very overpriced Thai Chinese restaurant. Food was just average for a restaurant but too expensive for this place.

Came at 18.45. 4 persons, ordered 3 dishes, the first dis Gaeng Hang Le (which is supposed to be a ready cooked curry) came at 19.17, and then the rest of the dishes never came.... so just one dish for 4, we don't wait to wait. Clean shop, fine but slow service, so-so taste, overpriced for sure, we will not recommend here if you totally run out of other choices and have loads of time to waste. We paid 250 for that bowl of curry in this restaurant. Then we went to the walking street next to the clock tower that we found the most delicious bbq sticky rice with eco packing which only 20 baht.... the appreciation-needed sellers are always least appreciated in Thailand, spread your money wider and wiser.

Pizza was 209B which isn’t cheap but a nice treat. You can get pizza for cheaper at the night market by the lake. I was in a rain storm and was grateful for this place /) they also have spaghetti, basically Italian restaurant meets massage :)

The pizzas are prepared a little different to normal but are quite tasty and reasonably priced. The service is good. Have nice cold beer. Still operating during difficult covid time. Probably the best place to go in MHS for Italian style food.

I'm sorry for my compatriot, who wasn't on site, but this restaurant needs urgently someone who is truly able to run it, otherwise I suppose that it won't have a prosper future. Local people who are in the shop are good for a asian restaurant, but maybe not for an italian one. We ate 2 chicken salads not exactly perfect. The chicken was pale and cold. Salad was wet and cut in too large pieces. Seasoning was insufficient for the salad. Bread was the Farmhouse brand made warm. I hope warmly that other dishes are better than mine. I put 3 stars to encourage them. Good luck.

Well...I'm exploring Mae Hong Son (MHS) Cafes, restaurants, shops and overall infrastructure...great little city and capital of MHS province. This cafe is in a cool and quiet part of MHS..nice folks , great coffee and Hmong art ... come relax ..

The cutest coffee in Mae Hong Son. The decoration is cozy, with wooden chairs, little lamps, paintings on the walls and a library. I had a hot chocolate and waffles that I can only recommend. Finally the hosts are really welcoming. I came here every morning

Lovley Cafe that is a must when in town, Ann the owner is so lovely and warm. She takes her coffee seriously and only uses high quality local mae hong son beans which are rich in flavor. The croissant is very delicious well as the latte and specialty latte with coconut milk Enjoy :)

We had a delightful experience at Coffee Morning. After meeting the owner of the shop at the night market the night before we were invited to try some coffee and have breakfast the next day. The shop was cool, and had lots of art and books to browse. The coffee was tasty and the bagels went down a treat. Would definitely recommend checking out this place if you're in town!

This local favorite coffee shop has a huge drinks menu. Very good drinks at affordable prices. The owner is friendly, she always gives us a small free pot of tea with our drinks. But don't expect her to greet you or wait for you to order. She does all the work there, so be patient. Just take your time to make up your mind, then order. There is a cute trio colour cat live there. She'll come around and greet customers all the time.

Our experience at Coffee Morning in Mae Hong Son was nothing short of delightful! Interesting place with eclectic decoration and lots of different seating areas, you can sit and watch the world go buy, they offer 3 types of roasted coffee, dark, medium or light roast Very good cakes, particularly recommended is the cheesecake. Coffee is passable nothing special. Staff generally very busy.

Great and busy coffee shop that is away from the main area, but within walking distance. Great selection of coffee and tea and nice ambience. Mostly outdoor seating area with comfortable seats, suitable for working on your laptop. There are also some cakes available. WiFi is available for use.

I stopped by this café and was pleasantly surprised by how good the espresso was — smooth and well-balanced. On the other hand, the lychee soda didn’t quite hit the mark for me. One of the highlights was the adorable dog at the café, along with a few other friendly animals around. It definitely added a charming, homey touch. However, when I sat outside, there were way too many small bugs, which made it hard to relax and enjoy my drink. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, but the prices felt a bit high for Pai. Nice spot overall, especially for coffee lovers — just maybe skip the outdoor seating if you’re not a fan of bugs.

A very interesting building, not too fond of the birds in cages but the coffee was really good. The aroma walking in was pleasant and the hazelnut latte was a winner.

My favorite coffee spot on walking street. Coffee is high quality, made with attention to detail. Sitting and watching people walking by in the evening is better than any movie. Cheese cake can be outstanding but also not so fresh on occasion. Tea options are also recommended to try.

Really charming little coffee bar. Owner is nice and kind and happy to explain anything or chat. The decorations are very relaxing and it's a comfortable spot. We had two thai iced teas, they were delicious and reasonable at 55 baht each. There is a bathroom for customers. Upstairs has lounging futon if you need somewhere to sit and rest. Very peaceful!

By far the best Americano we had in Pai. This small shop is run by a very sweet woman who has a super cute Scottish Fold kitten (for you cat lovers out there). Most important, she makes a mean cup of strong but perfectly balanced coffee. It’s tucked away on a street about 100 meters south of the walking street and well worth the walk away from the mainstream. Our only regret? We didn’t try the coffee here until our second last day in Pai! Highly recommended.

Completely love coming here - the food is lovely , the environment full of nature (sit right at the back in the booths if you can and watch the Carpenter bees and humming birds feed on the flowers) Recommend the Khao Soi chicken salad , creamy chicken crepe ( get the toasty potatoes on side ) , the Om salad is my favourite and try the special fish dish with avocado salsa. Staff very attentive, efficient and on it.

We came here nearly every day we were in Pai (which is very rare for me!). The food choices are incredible and so well-priced, the staff are friendly, and the cafe has such a nice vibe with loads of greenery and space. Very cute place, and great atmosphere, we came here to switch up from Thai food as we have been here over 2 weeks, good quality Italian food. We both had pasta and enjoyed it, on the spicier side. One thing we both noticed was the tension with the owner and staff. We were the only ones there early afternoon so the waiters were very attentive, we had a pleasant conversation with one of the staff about his aspirations to come to USA. the owner might have thought he was bothering us and perhaps seemed to not really like his employees much 😅 one thing we love about Thailand is how kind everyone is to each other, while this restaurant is a nice change to the typical vibe we suggest to the owner he embrace this part of the culture ❤️🙏

Stopped because of the cozy outdoor atmosphere. The coffee menu looked good and they had salads which I was I terested in. Ordered coffee and a grilled chicken salad, but the machine was broke. He had already taken my menu so I said juice? He laughed and said it is a wine bar so I ordered water ( I don't drink alcohol). I felt almost made fun of but I let it go because it could have just been my interpretation. My salad was roasted chicken not grilled but it tasted good and the ingredients were fresh. My husband ordered a chicken entree that was served as chicken Parm. Not what he ordered either. I forgot to say we got the food to go so we did not see it until we got home. The waiter was very nice but the owner or manager not so much.

My favourite place in pai I love steak and shrimp the most, along with Italian-style clam soup. Today, I tried their pizza. This place feels like where I truly belong. I come here often—about once a week.

I had high expectations of this place given it's one of the most highly rated Italian restaurants in Pai, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Taste of food is pretty basic and average. For people claiming they had the best Italian food in their life here, I really wonder if this is the only Italian restaurant they have ever dined at. We also did not have a good experience with the service as our mains only came an hour later after placing our orders when all other tables who came later got their food before us.

We tried several dishes and everything was super tasty. The chef / owner is Italian and was very friendly. There’s a nice variety of different dishes in the menu, including quite a few vegetarian and vegan ones. The place looks great and there’s nice atmosphere. The prices aren’t on the low side, but everything felt high quality and we had a great time.

We had an amazing dining experience and got our Mexican fix.😁 We were seated straight away, the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered mushroom tostada which was my favorite, fish tacos which were super tasty, chicken tostada which must have been real good too but the hubs wouldn't let me have any, The hubs ordered another entree pictured with the egg on it and I can't remember what it is called but we are all of that too. We definitely recommend you try this cafe. The ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. The prices are attractive as well.

As a Mexican, I have to say that this food is absolutely delicious and authentic! I have been missing Mexican food a lot since I have started travelling. This is the first authentic place I found, the owner visits Mexico every year and clearly cares about what she does! I cannot recommend enough. Vegan options are amazing. The Mexican torta, tacos, and mole were all increíble. Can’t wait to come back to Pai to eat more 😍

Best and amazing eats in Pai. Super tasty mexican foods. Not a wide variety of options but what they have are surely a hit. The quesadilla are to die for and the breakfast set is smt I wanna have every morning. Ambiance is good and staff are super friendly. Good service and reasonable price. They also have some healthy food options if you want. I highly recommend the VEGAN MUSHROOMS & quesadilla is so good too. I almost eat here everyday. They can also alter my foods according to how I like it. Now we’re talking about real service here. Bought with me 5 packs of those vegan mushrooms to take back home! 😄

For Mexican food in northern Thailand, 5 stars. Cozy atmosphere, good music and good food. Burritos and breakfast burritos are awesome. We also got a few coffees and worked from inside and it was a great experience!

Never write food reviews but writing this as I am eating here. Owner is so nice and I was able to create my own breakfast and ask for changes. The food tasted so fresh you can tell the bread, egg, and avocado were all from good places. I asked for hot sauce and she bought out 3 different kinds for me. She heard my fork fall while she was outside and ran in to replace it. Just unreal service. Food and service was truly amazing and I will be coming back!!

Very busy! Large menu and serves many western items. We waited about 10 minutes to give our order and then you should Expect to wait as each item is prepared especially for you. You can grab a menu at the cash register if you don't want to wait. The food was really good, more expensive than any of the other restaurants around it but you can definitely get some delicious breakfast and lunch items. Real comfort food.

The best chai I’ve tasted so far in Pai! Made with love from scratch. The salad was exquisite and another time I tried an English breakfast kind of start to the day which was also good. Good balance between the muffins bringing a sweet touch together with the more savoury. I really like this place, and with the window seat you can watch people passing by and just overall the most perfect cafe experience. But really, the chai is +++++! A must try if you come here.

Staff aren’t the most friendly nor helpful. Coffee is great. Menu on a more expensive side. No Thai QR payment for Asian banks which I find very odd. Tasty brunch spot with a very good Western style menu, plenty of options. Food was great, the bacon sandwich could do with having more bacon in it, but it was still very tasty. Smoothie bowl was exactly like we hoped for. Pricey for Pai, but overall worth it for a solid Brunch.

The setting is magnificent with rows of tea bushes and cottages with Chinese style roofs. The view from the room is fantastic both at night and in the morning. Guests need to be strong to walk uphill to accommodation. The walkways are well paved but angle is steep. Reception was lukewarm and business like. Not enough charm. Therefore I put one less star. Breakfast lacked choices for Europeans. Prices are high but the room and view are worth it.

This place is beautiful and it gave the wow feeling after a long and winding drive in. I paid more for the beautiful house perched at the top that comes w a bath tub and balcony. Room is clean and set up thoughtful. I do love the ambience and sitting at the balcony enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. I was aware that due to low season, most rooms around mine were not occupied. When I was turning in, I had a frightening experience of hearing someone at my balcony trying to force open the door! The thought of not being able to get help as the reception was located way far down from my room added to my anxiety. Some minutes after I calmed down, I thought I heard the noise of someone fidgeting the front door! I am not sure if someone was trying to break into my room or sound proofing at the property was poor. As I'm a solo traveller, t he incident put me on the edge and kept me awake and fearful for a long time. I think there should be more staff presence in the vicinity to ensure guests' safety as the area is open to people viewing its tea plantation which surrounded the rooms. Even tho a telephone number was provided to get service, there was no assurance of prompt help if the rooms are spread out the way they are in the property. For this incident, despite the beautiful and clean room, I gave a 2 star. Service is only average.

When I first arrived in Ban Rak Thai, I was surprised it felt just like stepping into a small town in China, from the wooden house architecture and Chinese signboards to the gentle aroma of tea drifting through the air. Our motorbike group stayed at Lee Wine Ruk Thai, a homestay perched on a hillside with a stunning view of the lake. The food here was delicious, especially the local dishes, though breakfast had only a few options. The location is perfect for taking a peaceful walk around the lake and soaking in the serene atmosphere. A truly unexpected and memorable experience!🥰🥰🥰

We checked into Lee Wine Ruk Thai Resort for what was supposed to be a romantic two-night honeymoon stay. What we experienced instead was a health hazard, false accusations, and harassment that nearly derailed our entire trip. On our second day, a strong sewage odor filled the room. After taking a shower, we were horrified to find human feces and urine seeping up through the wooden floorboards. This wasn’t a minor plumbing issue — it was raw human waste flooding our room. I literally stepped in human feces. We immediately informed the staff and requested a refund due to the biohazard. They refused, offering instead to move us to the room next door, as if that was a reasonable solution. Even more troubling, the staff showed zero surprise or sympathy, making us suspect this was a recurring issue they’ve simply ignored. We told them we were prepared to leave without compensation, but would be honest in our review. That’s when things got even worse. At check-out, they refused to return our damage deposit, claiming we damaged the TV (which had a dark spot when we arrived) and decorative doors we never even touched. The accusations were completely false, and we had video proof taken during check-in showing the preexisting damage. Then it escalated to the police. After we left and arrived in Chiang Mai, my rental car company informed me that the resort had filed a police report against us. Over the next several days, we had to make three visits to the police. We showed the videos proving our innocence, and — believe it or not — the police even drug tested both my wife and me as part of the report. (Yes, we passed with flying colors. Insane, right?) Only after all that — and what felt like deliberate harassment — did the owner finally agree to withdraw the complaints. But by then, the damage was done. This entire episode completely ruined our honeymoon road trip and caused us enormous stress and disruption. ⸻ Bottom Line: • Unsanitary, unsafe conditions • False damage accusations • Resort staff filed a police complaint over lies • We were drug tested • Owner only backed off after we proved everything with video • Absolutely traumatic and outrageous experience

The room was nice, worth the money. The view was fantastic. We bought some wine there, but that tastes more like vinegar.

This was my first time at the truly charming, idyllic, and beautifully designed Pai Village – and already shortly after my arrival I decided to extend my stay for another night. I have traveled a lot, but this place really enchanted me. This is exactly how I imagine a small Thai resort: not a luxury resort, but a lovingly designed place with a very special charm. I booked a small bungalow in Thai style – simple but cozy. What makes this resort so unique are all the thoughtful little details: • a key attached to a practical elastic band, • beautifully decorated welcome greetings on the bed by the housekeeping staff, • towels rolled up with little ribbons, • mosquito net, flashlight, coffee & tea, mosquito spray – everything is well thought out, • and in the evening even a little present: a small elephant with a beautiful handwritten card. Another highlight is the well-maintained pool area, and even in the bathroom a scented candle is provided. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and warm – you truly feel welcome and at home. I especially appreciated that they printed my documents free of charge, which is far from self-evident. My conclusion: Anyone coming here should know it is not a European five-star hotel – and that is exactly what makes it so wonderful! Because it is precisely this individuality, authenticity, and heartfelt atmosphere that makes Pai Village so special and unique. I am absolutely delighted with both the resort and the team and would be more than happy to return.

Five star quality accommodation without a doubt! From the moment i stepped foot onto the location for check in to the moment i checked out, I was provided exceptional service. By far my favorite place that I have stayed at in Thailand. The complimentary breakfast offered very tasty items. The rooms were very clean and had a great view of the river front. Pai village boutique has set the standard for five star quality service. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for an elevated experience. Special thanks to all the staff but especially Sima. And Goong. Both of them made sure I was well taken care of my entire trip. The gentlemen behind the bar was also exceptional.

The location is excellent—very close to the walking street, just a short walk away. ​However, once you step into the accommodation zone, it's incredibly lush and green, feeling like a private backyard garden. The individual bungalows are adorable and very photogenic. ​We stayed in a Boutique Pool View , which is located in the. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There is a pool right outside our door, but we didn't get a chance to use it. ​It's interesting because the atmosphere in the main building rooms felt completely different from the cozy bungalows. You get two distinct vibes here!

What a wonderful oasis in northern Thailand. We stayed there for a few days and really enjoyed it. Great little bungalows with a wonderful terrace. A delicious breakfast and a very pleasant pool. The staff were all super friendly and always helpful. We'd love to come back.

Wow! We originally booked for one night but changed plans so we could stay an extra two. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast had a fantastic range of options and while I did not eat dinner there, the meals looked amazing and the people eating them looked very happy! This hotel is in a fantastic location, less than 5 minute walk to the night market and walking street. They also made a mean cocktail at the bar. I will definitely return to this hotel!!

The word that sums up this hotel is exquisite! The whole property is just perfect. A relaxed atmosphere. Beautifully furnished rooms. River frontage. Immaculate gardens. Great restaurant. There are two swimming pools. One for normal swimming and one that has swim up rooms. It is such an unusual pool with sloping stone sides, very beautiful. It is the best Thai hotel I have stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot! Price is more than most in Pai, but it is definitely worth it. If you can afford it, stay here.

Although at the pricier end of accomodation in Pai, this place is still good value for money. The decor and theming is lovely, as are the grounds and pool. Room rate includes a la carte breakfast and free transport into Pai town 5 mins away. Would highly recommend getting a poolside room as the price is the same as other rooms. They're listed as twins but the hotel can merge them.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Reverie. It exceeded our expectations from the gorgeous landscaping, the incredible decor, the friendly and helpful staff, and for having numerous vegan options on the breakfast and dinner menu. The on demand shuttle is a bonus for when you aren’t up for walking. We loved the location of the hotel. We will definitely return in the future.

Amazing stay here! We had originally booked one night, but end up staying 4 since we loved it to much! The bungalows were great, no bugs, not even ants, which we’ve experienced at a lot of other places. The owner and staff were so sweet and attended to all of our needs. The breakfast was great too! The location was also great! A short couple minute walk and across a bamboo bridge to the walking street. Couldn’t recommend enough!

What a great find! We booked a garden view room, which came with a fantastic breakfast served on the River. Woke up every morning with the sounds and sights of nature. Only a 5-minute walk to town, and the hosts made the stay so wonderful and memorable. Highly recommend!

Incredible stay and highly recommend this place, especially for the price. Location is perfect, depending on which bungalow you get will depend how long the walk is to Pai main town. However the closest road brings you out onto the night market, so great location. We had the deluxe bungalow, was ideal for 2 people. Queen size bed, outdoor/indoor shower which was amazing, balcony and grass area for sunbathing. Receptionist was great, helped with bike hires and tour tips. Breakfast is basic but same as other hostels across Thailand (coffee, eggs and toast) ideal before heading out the day. Lovely stay and would stay again!

We got a house that wasn't on the river, but about 500m from it. Actually, maybe it's better (fewer insects, house in a nice area), although I would have liked to know that before I booked the accommodation. The bathrooms are half-open, which was inconvenient at night (12 degrees in January). It was hard to wash in the evening if you were tired and cold. We slept in merino thermal clothes, I under a duvet and my partner under two blankets and I can't say it was super comfortable. I don't know if I would have chosen this accommodation if the offer had been presented exactly in the advertisement. Especially as accommodation in the cold month. The breakfasts were delicious, the owners were friendly, easy access to the center/restaurants from the accommodation.

Wow, I loved this place so much! The rooms were great! You get your own Bungalow which is very nice and really big! But the real kicker were the owners. They were so nice and it honestly felt like they adopted me. They give you free breakfast which is really tasty and if you need anything they are there to help. Will definitely stay here again! The location is great as well. Just across the river so it's a 10 minute walk to the main street. But because it's across the river it's quite and peaceful!

A lovely place to stay 😌 One of our favorite accommodations in our 6-month visit in Asia Just across the bridge from walking Street but, really feels like you're in the country! Property is well maintained with unfriendly dogs. Very grumpy! Beautiful natural surroundings, you have your own little standalone unit, everything is looked after and of good quality, screens on the windows and super spacious. The bed is really nice and the linens are high quality AC is cold and the hot water is hot and consistent AC was filled with mold and was directly above the bed. There isn't all that much place to put your belongings. A few more hooks and shelves would be nice. Also the ceiling doesn't have any vents so it gets as hot as an oven in the Sun so you need to keep the AC on all the time and the room gets too hot. Somebody messed up on the construction The lady that owns the places super nice and very friendly

The resort is at a quiet location, yet a straight walk to the night walking street. It's huge space requires someone to drive you to and from your rented room. The room is big too, airy and very nice view of greenery. Great to walk around the resort to enjoy their gym, breakfast (7 - 10 am only) and we requested ground floor. Tips: should spend a few days here, very relaxing and it's cool 24 degrees even during summer.

Incredible experience at Montis! They treated us like family. Very easy to communicate with through what’s app. Great attention to detail in the service. The rooms were huge, very clean and with beautiful views of the grounds which felt like being a tree house. A very fancy tree house! The pool was lovely and there was a shuttle bus to take you to town each day and pick you up. We extended our stay multiple times because it was so good!

Nice and big resort. Front desk was kind enough to decorate the room with flowers for birthday and also gave a free upgrade. Really nice, helpful and polite staff. Shuttle service available till Pai Hospital. Limited veg breakfast options but they try to accommodate as much as possible.

After losing my sunglasses at the resort, It was found back when I was already on the go to my next destination. Monti’s resort contacted me through WhatsApp when they found my sunglasses, checked if it was possible to get my sunglasses shipped in time to my next destination, and kept me up to date! The Montis was my home for almost 2 months because it was too good to leave. The room, the view & the service was incredible! Such great people in Montis, I especially enjoyed the help of Nicole from the reception that have a better English then mine and was always keen to help with a big smile, answer all my many questions and gave me the best recommendations for stuff to do, places to eat and pretty much all that I needed help with. This house gets 5/5. It is such a relaxed accommodation. Very clean, has everything you need. The location is superb - in a calm side alley not far from the walking street. The staff is super friendly and not annoying at all. They clean every day if you want. And the best is the dog that takes care that everything is in order :) lovely and relaxed place to stay indeed.

The best accommodation I have stayed in in Thailand, 10/10 service, amazing views and beautiful spacious room. Could not recommend this place any more. Was also provided with a welcome drink and watermelon. Free breakfast was offered though we could not make it. And there’s also a what to do in Pai booklet in the room. Also great in the mornings chatting with other guests and owners about side trips etc…good rooms and comfortable. Just 1 street back from the night markets but still quiet in the room. Defiantly stay again.

It's an apartment above a bar restaurant. Loud music until midnight. It's a cool looking room. Big bathroom small fridge and tv. House keeping was hit and miss with their cleaning. Not for me as I'm not a night owl. The location is very good.

I'd honestly have to give this place 1 star, the rooms have no windows, there was no hot water, the plug sockets didn't work so we were unable to charge anything. The beds were very hard, and there is alot of noise from the bar next door. Also our room wasn't ready untill nearly 2 pm! Luckily we booked through Agoda so we were able to cancel our second night here.

I was sleep deprived during the entire stay. The room is not soundproof and you have clubs with bad live music every night both downstairs and next door. Windows have no blinds, so you cannot sleep during the day either.

Overall good experience. The room and bed were very comfortable and spacious. You will read in other reviews about the noise at night from the restaurant or surrounding bars and it is all true but is generally overblown in my estimation. You are staying in the heart of the action, so you shouldn't expect to have a quiet night though by 12 am it will quite down. Get out and enjoy the community and meet some fellow travelers. The restaurant is pretty good, with the star being the pizza. The only issue I had was that at no time during my stay did any of the friendly staff ask to clean my room or change out my sheets.

Nice decent room at the end of the busy walking street. We booked a triple (family) room which was located on the 1st floor inside the resturant. Was hard to locate because there was no reception or lobby as they are part of the restaurant. The room has a strong sewage smell that was totally unbearable, not sure if there was a leakage from the room's toilet or was it from the restaurant's public toilet besides. It was hard to access to the door if diners sat in front of the door.

I wandered into this place on a Saturday afternoon, the room was huge! and I had a balcony that looked out onto the walking street. Loved the location, and the staff were quite friendly and attentive. I didn't plan to stick around, but ended up staying 4 days! Also there is AC and the shower is lovely! :) They were doing some construction downstairs while I stayed but I wasn't disturbed at all!

I have stayed here for 2 nights (we stayed in the Green Room). The hotel is nice and has a lot of potential but the stuff really should care a bit more...after the first night we didn’t get new towels nor water in our room. We had to go and ask for it. Upon the arrival we asked about the possibility to hire a car with a driver to see some things around Pai, the lady at the reception was not interested in helping us, she pointed towards some leaflets and got back to scrolling Facebook page on her phone. The hotel itself is nice, lovely decor but rooms are not very clean, massive spider webs that have been there for a couple of months, etc. I expected a bit more. But the breakfast included in the price of the room is lovely, you get it at Boomelicious Cafe that is a great place.

This place is in front of the Blue Mountain Lodge and it is brick and mortar. The atmosphere in the second floor shop is relaxed - perfect for reading, chatting with friends, journaling, and listening to good tunes. For anyone visiting Pai this is a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of walking street.

I stopped by this tiny little spot for breakfast, tucked away on a side street that’s easy to miss—but I’m so glad I found it! The staff were really friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I had banana toast and a coffee, and as someone who really appreciates a good coffee, I was impressed—it was excellent. I sat at a small bar facing a beautiful building by the side of the lake, which made for a lovely setting to start the day. I even sent a picture of my breakfast to my partner, who was very jealous! A hidden gem worth seeking out if you’re in the area.

We had a very good breakfast here and great coffee. It has a nice menu with very reasonable prices. The quality of the food was excellent and service was friendly. Americano was strong just the way it should be.

This is a good cafe. The women who run the place are very nice, and smiley. They speak English for those who care. The coffee is delicious, not expensive, and there is oat milk. There are also small and delicious breakfasts.

Can I rate these guys higher than a 5? Delicious drinks, the best service. Being lactose intolerant and craving a milky beverage is a headache in Thailand most of the time because the majority of coffee shops don't carry alternate milk products, so I typically just settle for a milk-less drink. But today, I REALLY wanted a Thai iced tea with milk and Alawaa delivered. Not only did they carry soy milk, but almond & pistachio as well, which they went out of their way to find for me in the back. Thank you so much Alawaa! If I find myself in Mae Hong Son again, I will definitely pay you another visit (Photo pictured is of the finished beverage because I gleefully inhaled it before realizing I should've taken a pic lol)

Great little coffee shop that serves simple breakfast too if you're not so keen on the noodle or rice breakfast options in town. Coffee was delicious and they had various alternative milks available even. They have a bunch of cute cats walking around too.

Top owner in town and excellent service! The venue is a vintage house but good air flow. It is very chill and calm ambient. There are many drinks menu available. As I am a bit of coffee nerd, I paid extra for special bean but I would say it is not my favorite taste. The milk foam is not that firm as well. However, it is good enough for its price. The place is sparklingly clean and easy to park moto/bikes. In term of cars, im not sure.

A fantastic and highly recommended boutique restaurant along MHS main road, probably one of the few places with English menu and English-speaking staff. Reasonably priced food and superb service by the staff on duty. Definitely worth a visit for their Thai milk tea or some Vietnamese snacks. Tasteful and comfortable decorations is also a plus.

This cafe/restaurant also has a good Sino-Thai selection of cuisine at decent prices, considering the quality and location you’re in. The fact that you can get this selection of Vietnamese and Sino-Thai cuisine with also an amazing dessert selection that caters to both the Western and Eastern palette. They have Bud’s Ice Cream from San Francisco(!), here(!), in Mae Hong Son town! Yeah, so if you’re here in this small town and you want a good meal at reasonable price, you can’t go wrong here! I enjoyed my meal here!

One of the best restaurants in town, visited twice during this five days trip. Food is excellent with reasonable price. Coffee served in early morning. Parking spaces is available inside the restaurant. I will definitely come back again on next Maehongson trip.

Really nice restaurant in a beautiful location with views of the mountains and a pool too. The pad Thai was very delicious one of the best I’ve had in Thailand and my boyfriend really enjoyed his meal too. Id reccomend eating here for great food with a great view!

The location is beautiful and the facilities are great and so affordable - 150baht for full acess to the pool and facilities, and that includes a drink.
