We had a great family meal here. The staff were really friendly and professional. The decor is great and the food was very nice too. The Sunday menu with 2 courses for 20 euro must be as good value as can be found anywhere in the country

Really nice place, nice vibe. Great place for a pint. Great decor. Staff very friendly and professional. Food let it down. Chips out of the packet... because chef's these days can't be bothered to peel a few spuds. Also burger had no sauce and was not great. Also, the same old plague of cost cutting.. portion was too small for the price. Everything else was fine.. 5 star service, 5 star atmosphere

Had a big family party at The Central and it was a excellent! The outdoor area out back was perfect — loads of space and great vibes. Food was amazing (even the fussy eaters were happy) and the staff were absolute stars — super friendly, helpful, and on the ball. 10/10 would party there again!
Jean R — Google review
Great spot. Back place great for groups & family events, front bar nice for a quiet drink. Portions for some dishes can be a little on the small side but the food is very good for pub grub. Have been a few times and will be back
Shane K — Google review
Me and my partner visited last Friday night for dinner and we cannot recommend this place highly enough. For starters I got the goats cheese bruschetta. Good god almighty. I’ve got this before and this is what keeps bringing me back. It is unbelievable. Full of flavour and just…. Chefs kiss. My partner got the garlic ciabatta and said it was lovely. For mains he got the beef burger and I got the duck fettuccine. Both were delicious. The chips were something to write home about they were so crispy and tasty! For desert we shared the centrals take on banoffee pie - with a banana bread base - it was delectable. 🤤 I got some coctails too and they were perfect. This place really does it all!!!
Aoife — Google review
It's hard to find a place for coffee and something sweet when you have half an hour to while away in the evening but here was perfect. A nice, separate (from the pub) streetside café-type space serving decent coffee and baked goods with very friendly staff.
Laura R — Google review
A great venue for a party Every member of staff was polite, professional and helpful. The food was delicious and good value. It really made for a great event.

We hosted our Day Two of our wedding day celebrations at The Central in Marvens Yard and I couldn’t recommend it more. It was absolutely perfect. Between the set up of Marvens Yard, having both our own indoor and outdoor space, the delicious BBQ food and the absolutely wonderful team of staff who helped us on the day - the whole thing was perfect. Special thanks to Tara, Yvonne and Lia for making everything run so smoothly on the day and all the lovely bar staff who made our celebration so fun and memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second if you’re considering this for your own event - thank you to the entire team at The Central.

Room8 is a popular dining spot in Navan, offering a diverse menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon cake, homemade soup, or superfood salad. While the place is known for its delicious Italian food like salads and pizza at Castello's Pizza and Licensed Restaurant nearby. However, some customers have expressed frustration with long wait times and inaccurate estimates.
My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here today! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The chicken burger was delicious and my husband had the Bang bang chicken and he really enjoyed it too! Definitely going back soon. Thanks Geraldine!
Martha O — Google review
The food here was excellent. The cauliflower wings are fantastic. I had the bang bang chicken which was nice. The salad was full of flavor. It was quite busy but we we got a table fairly quickly. The only down side is that the queue of people waiting to get a seat were hold the door open making it a bit drafty. Other than that it was a really good hearty meal.
Paul D — Google review
Got a recommendation on this little gem from a friend. As I was in the area, I called in for some lunch and takeaway treats. Bustling brunch spot with a very welcoming feel. Luckily they had space for me, and I sat to take a look at the menu. There were a few curveballs along with the laissez faire Irish menu items. Went with the duck and some homemade hash browns. Incredible. Bhí sé go hiontach. Came out on a plate that screamed effort and tasted every bit the same. Enjoyed every morsel along with a very nice 'Gerardo' coffee. Took away some of the homemade pastries to treat the work colleagues which were also delectable. Spectacularly good. Maith sibh. 👏🏻

Stopped in for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent. We had a Thai curry and chicken burgers. Will definitely be back.
David P — Google review
Be prepared for a bit of a wait at lunchtime at this very popular café. We were very lucky to grab an outside table but there were people waiting to get a seat. And when you go there you'll know why. The food was delicious, generously portioned and served by friendly helpful waiting staff. Well worth a visit when in Navan.
Aidan M — Google review
As a vegetarian customer room 8 is my absolute favourite cafe to visit. They have such a diverse vegetarian menu and cam cater many other menu options to your needs changing most dishes from conventional to vegetarian to vegan . The food always is of excellent quality and great taste. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is nice. It's a very busy spot often at times have to wait for a table but this just shows how excellent the food is .
Joanne C — Google review
I was recently in Navan and on the advice of a business owner there I went to Room 8 for lunch. They have a varied menu with some unusual dishes. I chose the Bang Bang chicken which I can honestly say was the best version I ever had. I then had Sticky Toffee pudding and again it was absolutely delicious and exactly as a good stp should be but seldom is in most places. Coffee was excellent too. If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular customer but I'll go there again if I'm in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

This hidden gem, located just off the Bull or Square, offers an inviting atmosphere where visitors can savor freshly brewed coffee amidst historic surroundings and natural beauty. I just discovered this cafe a few weeks ago and i love it. The food is so good. Genuinely a great brunch spot with lots of options, you can make your own meal with the option of a panini , wrap , bagel etc. I always get a panini with brie , chicken and it never disappoints! I would recommend coming here and getting a panini. lovely cute spot. Great service :)

Amazing food and very reasonable prices. Less than 30 quid for breakfast for 2 people and extras for take away. Both sit in and take away options avaliable. Incredibly fresh food and very tasty. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the pancakes were divine.

Absolutely fantastic food and very very good prices compared to most others in the area. Quality was excellent and wait time was short. Watch the chalkboard for “Today’s Specials” there’s always something interesting there! Lovely friendly helpful staff too. Will definitely call again soon.

Lovely cafe! Thanks very much Marija, so welcoming and very kind ❤️ The Savoury Crepe was delicious and the cheesecake - yum! Lovely little touch and garnishes as well. We had a fab lunch 🍽️
Videss — Google review
This is a little gem up a lane way just off the Bull(or the Square as we locals knew it!) and behind AIB. The whole place is exceptionally clean including the bathroom. They have a great variety of homemade food on the menu, everything fresh and tasty at very reasonable prices. Great friendly service. I'm glad to see more and more people becoming aware of it's existence. No queues, music at a low level, this place is a little oasis where you can have breakfast, lunch or drop in for excellent coffee and homemade cakes. Highly recommend.
ALo D — Google review
Worst egg Benedict I had in a while, muffin was half toasted, which quickly turned soft and soggy, bacon was precooked and ultra processed, the only decent thing was the poached eggs and the store-bought hollandaise sauce, unlikely to be back after a disappointing breakfast. a bit of advice is to spot flaws in your menu before serving it to your customers.

Gift shop
Nestled away from the bustling streets, Ode is a delightful coffee shop that doubles as a quirky gift store, making it a unique spot for both caffeine lovers and decor enthusiasts. Located near the Bull of Navan statue, this hidden gem offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxing chats over delicious homemade cakes and Lavazza coffee. With its charming Scandinavian-inspired decor and cozy ambiance, every corner of Ode feels like an Instagram-worthy moment waiting to happen.
It's such a nicely decorated cafe/gift shop! The coffee lounge at the back is so cozy, I loved the Christmas decorations. I just wish they served tea in nicer cups, instead of takeaway ones, feels wasteful.
Jelena K — Google review
On entering the cafe/shop, I was abruptly told I would not be permitted a coffee in the lounge on the basis that I had a buggy (travel buggy - suitable as cabin luggage) and in the event of an fire I would block the exit. There were no other patrons in the lounge area at the time. I wasn't given the opportunity to take my baby out or fold the buggy and was asked to leave. Those with accessibility needs are obviously not welcome here.

Beautiful shop , with amazing gifts and craft works , and gem of a little coffee nook out back , the staff are just lovely to talk to , and made a very welcome atmosphere ,
Esther U — Google review
It's incredibly charming coffee house with quaint shop. You can buy there some sundries for home. Little pricy, but trust me - they are chosen with a taste, so it looks lovely and gives you warm feelings. Good things for a gift. Coffee menu is basic, they use Lavazza so there is +. We concluded that cakes are home-made, not bought in store. Brownie is veery sweet :) Coffee area is such a beautiful place (inside as well as outside - with canopy, so drinking coffee, chatting and listening to the rain drops will stay in my memory :)

Absolutely love Ode...between the quirky gift shop and the cosy scandi style cafe, it's literally a walking instagram post! Even though I come here at least once a week, I still can't help but take photos of the place! Great coffee, proper home made cakes and food, chill out music, fab decor and the friendliest staff around. There is literally nothing more you could ask for. Ode is 100% my happy place. :) 💗

Breakfast restaurant
Chekhov's Cafe is a delightful spot that has quickly become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the warm atmosphere and attentive service. The menu features an array of delicious options, including their Tuna Lemon Caper and Sweetcorn wrap, which pairs beautifully with their expertly brewed Bell Lane coffee from Mullingar—a lovely nod to local partnerships. I indulged in breakfast alongside my husband, who raved about the white pudding being "to die for.
Great food and service! And Thanks for accommodating all the requests for replacing Chicken with chips 😄

Just delicious! Thank you for that delicious meal! I wasn’t sure if I will be full after salad, but that was one of the best salads I have ever had! Goat cheese salad, if you will be there, just try it! Portion was also huge, perfect lunch or dinner option.

Terrific cafe. The likes of which other cafes should learn from. Everything well considered. Coffee is Bell Lane and very well made Americanos. Lunch selection is very good and specials are always even better. Had the breakfast burrito special with paprika fries. It was so good. Everything reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Lovely little cafe with a fantastic atmosphere, brilliant staff, and delicious food. I highly recommend stopping off here for food whether it's breakfast, lunch, or a daytime snack. Their coffees are especially good, and the waffles are amazing!;

Amazing food, lovely friendly staff, gorgeous coffee, couldn’t ask for a better breakfast experience (picture : full Irish and breakfast bagel)
Amber — Google review
We came with my partner and our baby. The café was empty except for one table where a couple was sitting. As soon as we walked in and before we could even choose a table, the barista (instead of serving the line of five people waiting) rushed over to us and pointed to a long table with benches, telling us to leave the stroller with the baby there. I replied that I couldn’t leave my baby lying alone in the stroller away from us. He then pointed at the bench again, suggesting we sit there next to the baby. I told him I preferred to sit at a regular table with proper chairs with backrests. He insisted that we would be in the way of the kitchen staff if we sat anywhere else. Instead of offering us a comfortable spot, he kept pushing us to sit at a large table for eight people with benches instead of chairs. We would have spent just five minutes there, but instead of quietly having breakfast or a coffee, we wasted time arguing with the staff member who completely ruined our mood. He drew everyone’s attention to us. The couple sitting at the table even offered to give us their spot. We left deeply disappointed. This kind of attitude towards guests is unacceptable. We left deeply disappointed. This kind of attitude towards guests is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone and we definitely won’t be coming back to a place where customers are considered an inconvenience to the kitchen.

Hubby had breakfast and we both had lunch today on a visit to Navan today... we also had a coffee in between and all 3 were absolutely gorgeous.... piping hot fresh breakfast... Danny says white pudding was to die for.... The coffee I had was absolutely sublime... gorgeous coffee.... and the omelette and sweet potatoes fries and dannys toasted special exceeded expectations too.... service was excellent and food couldn't have been better.... also got some sexy protein bites on the way out.... Highly Recommend.... well worth a visit.

A good breakfast cafe. They do what they do, well. The food is good, doesn’t bite your pocket or stomach. However, I didn’t feel the staff to be friendly - May be it was a one-off. However based on my experience, a 4 star.

Irish pub
Ryan's Bar, one of the oldest establishments in Navan, boasts a surprisingly modern and inviting atmosphere that feels fresh and new. Open every day of the week, it attracts both locals and visitors alike with its vibrant ambiance. While many have enjoyed their time here, experiences can vary; some patrons have faced long waits for food or mixed service during busy periods. However, standout dishes like the Mediterranean chicken fillet burger have garnered rave reviews for their exceptional flavors.
Waited an hour to have our food served, sandwiches and wings, nothing unusual. The wrong order came out 3 times, chips tasted like old oil, couldn't eat them. Wings were delicious. My colleagues were not impressed with their sandwiches. When I said to the waitress about the wait, she was annoyed and said it was lunch time and that they were busy!!! Not a valid excuse if you serve lunch. Will not be going back
Siobhan M — Google review
Me and my partner had food here tonight. Please do not fall for the fancy names on the menu and pictures on facebook. From what we had ordered nothing was nice, the best dish was the wings but even so I would rate them 5/10 as the bbq sauce is very plain and not interesting at all.(my partner liked the wings) Don’t bother with the red onion rings. The chicken sandwich 🤣🤣, chicken was cold, stone cold, for the size of the sandwich you would expect plenty of sauce, but there was a scrape of sauce on the top of the ciabatta bread which was also cold, better call it a cold chicken sandwich. The steak sambo is just a joke, it’s like bitting into a bunch of grass dipped into oil, just take it off the menu or do a proper chimichurri(parsley, garlic, chilli, salt, peppers, oregano, vinegar, oil) not just a bunch of mix herbs. They promise it cooked medium but some parts was well done, some was medium well and only about 15% was medium. I understand it can’t be 100% medium but 15% is very poor cooking when charging money for steak. Chips are overcooked and no salt. The place was not busy, tops 20 people for food at the time we were there, I can imagine the quality would only go down if it was busy. Huge improvement is needed regardless of the food. Good night.
DENIS — Google review
Large bar in town that now seems to be food led which has contributed to a drop in the atmosphere in the place. Standard selection of beers, diner style food selection (burger, wings etc). Busy for a Friday lunchtime.
Steven B — Google review
I went here for a family christening. The place was lovely, busy due to it being game day, but we were in the function room upstairs. It was nice but a couple of family members with mobility issues did struggle with the steps.

Insomnia Coffee Company in Navan Town is a delightful spot for coffee lovers and those seeking a cozy atmosphere. This charming café offers an array of fair-trade coffee, hot chocolate, tea, sandwiches, and pastries that are sure to satisfy any craving. Visitors rave about the friendly and helpful staff who create a welcoming environment for everyone. Despite some ongoing roadworks nearby, patrons appreciate the cleanliness of the space and consistently enjoy perfectly brewed coffee along with what many claim to be the best hot chocolate around.
Best hot chocolate in the world🤩! Staff in Navan shop always lovely and friendly and the place always very clean.
Rusne S — Google review
I was in insomnia in Navan and at first when I walked in the staff ran to the counter as they were sitting with their friends drinking their own coffees which I assume they didn’t pay for. This left me with a bad first impression as the staff were laid back and unprofessional. After I ordered they returned to customer seats and continued to eat and drink the shops goods. In the time I was there drinking my coffee I estimate they had at least two coffees which they made themselves. This was very unprofessional and I didn’t like the experience I would advise the manager take a look at cctv and see what his employees really get up to during working hours. Furthermore the friends who joined them weren’t drawing pictures at their table like some sort of children and using the electricity to charge their phones. This isn’t very appealing for customers as assume their friends done them a favour by the ont then their coffee for free meanwhile I paid €5.90 for mine. Utterly disgraced and disgusted and not happy with the experience. Staff were nice but only because I imagine their trying to pretend they care about their job please look into the employees in Navan insomnia.
Ruairc H — Google review
Some of the staff are great here, but some of them can't be bothered washing cermic cups so they serve drinks in paper cups (this happened numerous times now), they can't be bothered turning on the ice cream machine and the place is dirty sometimes

We did the grand Prix in karting with 12 people and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great race. The karting staff were very professional and made the whole grand Prix format run smoothly. I would highly recommend.
Sean M — Google review
The karting venue is quite small but it is still good fun, the only thing is the smoke, seems that there's no proper ventilation and after 25 minutes riding you feel dizzy from the smoke. Staff is very polite and helpful.
Elghato E — Google review
Great staff, try to do their job as best from what they have to deliver to customers. 1. Karting costumes torn/ dirty/ stinking. 2. Helmets are so smelly that you might puke . Please requesting the owner to maintain basic hygiene.

Great craic, staff are brilliant, karts are great , perfect for smaller groups and if you have little ones with you, lots of parking and you can eat here too.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh! I was there yesterday with my girlfriend and the staff were so helpful even though they were clearly busy working hard for the groups of people. The activities were incredibly fun. An excellent day out even if you’re an adult and looking for something a bit different. The virtual reality in particular was fantastic

Fantastic time had for my Sons 12th Birthday, they did go-karting and the bounce zone...the staff were great, the kids had a great time, and I enjoyed a few hot drinks while watching. They have plenty more to offer, check out their web site.

Usually loved this place for Karting but it is truly awful now. I'm never returning because me and my friends planned to go Karting cuz we hadn't been there in over a year and there was no notice on the site that the track had changed or any reduction in price because it usually was 18-21sec laps which is still quite short but it is now 10 seconds a lap!? I am truly appalled by this and it is clear they just want money because I payed €136 for 25mins of going in a circle for 10 seconds. Never again. We all left so disappointed. I truly wish I could get a refund and if yous are seeing this TheZone at least reduce the price because €34pp for 25mins of 10 seconds laps is ridiculous. Me personally, I wouldn't pay more than €14. Deplorable.
David M — Google review
Sure! Here’s the review rewritten without spaces between sections and without using em dashes: I recently went go-karting with my family and while the experience had its fun moments, especially the track design which includes a thrilling hill, the overall condition of the facility left a lot to be desired. The place is quite small which wasn’t an issue in itself but the heavy presence of engine smoke indoors made us feel dizzy after a while. Hygiene was a major concern. The facility appeared poorly maintained and the race suits provided were clearly not cleaned between uses. I was sweating in mine and staff instructed us to hang them back up for the next group to use which is extremely unhygienic. Many of the suits were also damaged and no gloves were provided even though they are important for both safety and comfort. While the actual racing was a lot of fun and the layout of the track was well-designed especially for a smaller venue, I wouldn’t return due to the poor hygiene standards and lack of proper gear.

Great find! Lovely food, great service and a nice little vibe. It’s not a big place so space is tight, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Food was made fresh, and good humour from the staff. Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in Ireland!

Found Earls by accident. I just happened to pay by. I had the breakfast, which was exceptional and great value. The brown bread was very very tasty. The staff were so friendly. There were all sorts of pastries and breads. I didn't indulge which gives me an excuse to call again. Highly recommended

Esquires - The Organic Coffee Co is a delightful haven for coffee lovers, where the enchanting aroma greets you as soon as you step inside. The friendly staff create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit special. Even during the bustling post-Christmas rush, the service remains impeccable. Their menu features mouthwatering options like maple bacon on focaccia bread, which is simply irresistible. A visit to Esquires promises not just great coffee but also an overall wonderful experience!
Visited in the busy post Christmas period and was more than happy with the service and the food. Highly recommended! The maple bacon served on focaccia bread was really delicious.

Very over priced. Was charged €14.95 for a 'caeser salad' with chicken and the salad was just lettuce with bacon as you can see in the photo. Definitely not worth the price.
Mary H — Google review
The quality , presentation and even the portion size have gone down! Ordered superfood salad and got half a size than I used to, also, the cuts on vegetables were uneven and huge chunks of onion served. Overall, even though I am from Navan, I will not go out there to eat again.

Food is mediocre. But the service is non existent. Stand in Q to order. 5 staff behind counter. Nobody else in Q but me. Am I completely invisible somehow ? Completely ignore. Price for full breakfast is ridiculous. Keep away

Absolute rip off. I paid 13 euro for breakfast the other day, with tea or coffee NOT included. Half the breakfast was cold the other half was warm. I had my 4 month old with me, so I didn't bother asking for a replacement. However I will not be returning. Extortionate Prices, below average food, mediocre staff

I usually don't leave reviews on Google but this time I feel it's needed. We went to this place quite often when we went shopping. It was always a very nice experience until today. After a long wait time in the queue we were finally sat at a table. The food took very long to arrive. We were there with a very hungry baby considering it was lunch time. After waiting for so long our food finally arrived. I ordered sausages and chips from the kids menu. The sausages were so hard you couldn't even bite into them. I kindly asked a lady if it would be possible to get another portion of sausages for my baby. The lady looked at the sausages and approved to bring us new ones but she never returned. My baby was left with a few chips. The food is quite expensive too. I was left with a bitter taste today. Will never return.

Very poor service here lately. Hot food was warm . Chicken was rubbery . Coffee had a burnt taste from it . No utensils available so when we asked for some staff pointed us to area where they are stored we said there was none there and they went and checked then gave us what we asked for . Nobody finished their food or coffee. Definitely gone down hill . Won't be dropping by any time soon .

Used to love to come for a coffee, but last few times they are always closed at 17:30 despite stating that closing is at 18:00. Change your closing hours if you are not working until 6pm and stop confusing people. We wasted trip to Navan just to have coffee in this place and come home disappointed as it was closed way before the stated closing time.

Whilst they have the best eclairs I have tasted in years here, I found customer service has diminished a little since the first time I set foot inside it's doors. Everything is fine, except when one wishes to make conversation with staff. Found the dark haired lady a bit short with me today when I told her I was purchasing the box for my mam on her birthday. The reply was in a forced smile tone, "Oh that's lovely, I am sure she will like it". Before I had a chance to say anything else, the bag was quickly handed back to me, followed by a, "Have a nice day". There was no one else in the shop, so I don't see why I was rushed out at the end. On another occasion, a long, blond haired woman was working the front. She looked miserable, planted my change on the counter, had to ask for a receipt, didn't even ask me which eclair I wanted, and I had to ask for a bag. No "Hello", "Goodbye", or "Thank you". When I got home, I noticed that the pastry I got a pieces of a mirange-like substance on it. Prices are high in the shop for pastery quality, but I am curious how much repeat customers are valued. Hopefully things will improve.

The fusion of the old cottage with modern architecture has resulted in a stunning and stylish café surrounded by immaculate gardens. Visitors can enjoy delicious dishes such as chicken and mushroom pie and seafood chowder, served by friendly staff in a bustling yet welcoming atmosphere.
Lovely Irish place. Beautiful drive in to teach the tea rooms. Parking area is green and lush, very beautiful surrounds, when entering and especially when seated outside. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Love the diversity in staff. Food is really good; well presented and coffees and teas are hot when served (unlike some places).

Can't recommend Bective Tea Rooms enough! We booked the afternoon tea for a baby shower at the venue. We were seated in a more private area of the restaurant, which gave us room to move around and not be in the way of other guests which was amazing. The afternoon tea was fabulous, food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone is so friendly and beyond accommodating. We also ordered a cake through Bective for the event and it was gorgeous! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back!

Went here today, beautiful tearooms and landscaped patio area. Service is very slow waiting for food to come out, maybe 20 mins or more waiting on apple crumble and pancakes. Staff were very friendly. Beautiful place but the menu is expensive compared to other places similar. Pot of tea, apple crumble and kids pancakes(we had asked for regular portion but they brought a kids one) 2 very small pancakes the size of your palm for €22.75 . It would turn me off going back again to be honest, pity because it's a nice place

Best time at the Bective Tea Rooms Went here a few weeks ago based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed and I’m paying it forward. We took a walk around the grounds lovely loop. Through open and shaded areas passing through forests and paddocks with bourses. Nice 3.5 approx loop finishing back at the entrance and beside the restaurant. It was a beautiful day. Friday late lunch and still busy but not too busy thot we couldn’t get a table great buzz and atmosphere about. Plenty of friendly attentive staff. Food was delicious, really fresh, options for indulging or keeping it healthy. We shared a club sandwich and side salad. Absolutely yum. Desserts looked lovely but we didn’t sample. That’s for another day. Plenty of parking available. Definitely go along for a visit.

Costa Coffee is a popular counter-service coffee chain that offers a variety of hot drinks, iced coolers, sweet snacks, and sandwiches. Customers have praised the friendly and helpful staff at Costa Navan, with mentions of exceptional service from employees like Emilia and Beatrix. The restaurant is described as a great spot for both daytime and evening visits, offering tasty food at good value. While some find the prices to be on the higher side, others appreciate the quality of their hot chocolate.
Just had the best service with a smile from the lovely Emilia in Costa Navan who couldn't do enough for us and never hesitated to help me with my tray and a baby high chair. Service like this is rare.
Debi T — Google review
Disappointing!!! Just how I wish i could give 0 star! The staff were rude and snobbish. I was the only customer at the counter, yet they ignored me three times. I even smiled once to one of them, but they were just roaming around, chatting, and going back and forth to the back. I thought one of them would approach me to take my order, but NO, I was completely ignored! None of the three women there on duty attended to me. One of them even walked right in front of me, went to the till to grab a tray, and then left without saying anything. They didn't come back. These women clearly don’t understand customer service. I didn’t catch their names, but it happened on April 6th, 2025, Sunday at 15:05, just so the owner is aware. It was so bad that my family and I just walked away, deciding this store didn’t deserve our money. We ended up going to Costa near Woodie's, where the staff were lovely—completely the opposite experience!
Paula D — Google review
Staff were so rude. Ordered a hot chocolate and was disputing wasn’t mixed properly. No effort put in.
Mia T — Google review
The staff were rude. I walked away because no one came to the counter to take my order after I waited for around 5 to 6 minutes. Then, when I left, the woman who arrived after me was quickly attended to. It seems like they choose who their customers will be. I hope they are not being discriminatory!!!
Luisa M — Google review
Terrible rude service. Two employees stood with their backs to me and talked. When the barista made coffee, he also put the mugs on the tray with his back to me and continued talking to his partner, without saying anything to me. The coffee was also terrible, tasted like water with milk. I will never go there again.

Awful coffee. My father became ill after drinking it. I don’t understand why costa is a successful franchise as their coffee is so awful. I went to a costa in Maynooth many years ago and became very ill after drinking the coffee. I made a mistake coming to the Navan one (I thought it was an insomnia at this location. I will never make that mistake again. It’s not because the coffee is too strong or I don’t know coffee by the way. I imagine it’s either the milk being off or poor hygiene standards. Not proper barista coffee: Braeburn up by apple green is a good bit better better: wouldn’t be hard. Why on earth would anyone go there, nevermind give it a five star rating? The first review said the food is bad and expensive and gives it 5 stars? Why not 4 stars????

Kazoo had a great time performing at Leon’s for Navan Pride! Lovely place! Hope to be back some day!
Jessicaharkin — Google review
I recently visited Leon's cafe in Navan, and I must say I had a rather disappointing experience. I ordered a crepe with bacon, but the plate it was served on had numerous scratches, which was quite off-putting. The bacon was extremely hard, and swallowing it was a painful experience. However, hunger prevailed, so I managed to finish it. My partner ordered French toast with bacon, and unfortunately, the bread was soggy, which was not at all appetizing. It's worth noting that this cafe had received great reviews, and we had hoped for a better experience. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken constructively and not as an offense. We were genuinely upset with our entire dining experience, which is why we didn't voice our concerns while paying. It would be great if Leon's could consider serving their food on better plates in the future. I had to edit this review and add a response to the owners reply! The owner replied to my comment and my partners comment by saying that it was busy and we did not raise any complaints when we visited. We clearly mentioned why we did not give any feedback in review itself. Also it is up to the customers to decide when to give a feedback. There are many busy restaurants and cafes in navan itself who are very professional when it comes to their service. the whole response with a sorry and saying “oh but you didn’t say anything during the visit” is very unprofessional. And being a hospitality management student too I know this is not how customers should be treated.
Deepa R — Google review

Came to Leon’s as our usual breakfast spots were very busy. Very pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, service and food. Lovely dining area with a fire, fast and friendly service and delicious breakfast. We both had the waffle with bacon and I had a cappuccino.
Lisa D — Google review
Went here for lunch with my daughter thinking it will be nice as the coffee shop look decent from the outside. The staff was unwelcoming, told us to sit down not even pointing us where to go. We didn't even know where to go as there are seems to be multiple doors. I ordered a Garlic Chicken Ciabatta, they served me toast sandwiches with crisps on the side so I told them these are not ciabatta. They replaced it with ciabatta that look like was bought from the grocery shop nearby served in a plate with no effort put in whatsoever. We've been to many coffee shops in Navan, around the country and abroad but this is the worse experience I had. My daughter's strawberry drink was served in a plastic cup and my coffee was in a paper cup, by the way we are sitting in, hello! The knife was also dirty with mud or something on it. I will never go back and there are plenty other lovely cafes in Navan that are way better for the money that I paid for. Answer to the response: I went to your cafe to eat and relax not to have multiple complaints. I already voice out about the sandwich, I didn't have time nor the enerygy to complain again for your multiple 'mistakes'. I didn't know the babyccinos are for babies as your waiter didnt even say a word not even informing me what it was. I thought it was a small cappuccino, I don't clearly look like a child so it's the waiters responsibility to let your customer know what are they ordering. He looked like he didn't even want to be there at all! I taste the babyccino and thought it was warm milk so I didn't drink a second sip anymore and put it aside. I didn't eat at all (lost my appetite from your disgusting knife) my daughter ate half of the sandwich because she said it was a waste not to eat it however she couldn't finished it because of the unpleasant taste and texture. Your quote is sarcastic.

Great atmosphere and a good vibe — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. The staff are super friendly too. I’d recommend this place any day!
Rakshath J — Google review
First time to visit this restaurant. It had a layout similar to any other fast food restaurants but was much less noisy and the table and seating was very comfortable. The available food and snack options were on view, mostly sandwiches and pastries 🍰. The panini was very fresh and tasty, the cappuccino and iced lemon tea 🍋 🍵 was very refreshing and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Pat F — Google review
I thought coffee was expensive everywhere but then I went here..Way too expensive for a regular-sized coffee in a paper cup. There's nothing special about it to justify that price. The place is well done up. Looks amazing but with those prices people will more than likely just go next door to get a coffee. Hope they bring their prices down because that's crazy.

Came here first time. Absolutely love this place. The place has a super cozy vibe, lots of natural light, comfy seating, and just the right kind of music playing in the background. Great for getting some work done or just relaxing.I got an iced latte and it was so good, smooth, not too sweet, and just what I needed. They got a nice selection of pastries too The staff were really friendly and cool, happy to chat or help you pick something if you unsure. Definitely a spot I will be coming back to.

Just leaving a review cause I was disappointed with the açaí bowl I ordered from here ~ the açaí was not frozen, it was like a soup. The strawberries are frozen, they didn’t taste fresh at all. Not much sauce either. Took a pic at the end to show how watery it was. Not worth €9, for paying as much as you do for açaí bowls you expect them to be packed with fruit and sauce etc.! Nice service though from the girls working in there

Cafe
Simply Honest Cafe is a family-owned business established by John and Rosita Moyles in 2004. Visitors have praised the delicious food, friendly staff, and affordable prices. While some found the cafe to be a bit loud with limited seating, others highly recommend it for its lovely paninis, great cappuccinos, and warm atmosphere. It's known for having the best coffee in town and is described as a must-visit spot in Navan.
Best coffee in town nice atmosphere very friendly staff nice and warm you make my day thanks will back again

I've been to the honest cafe a few times. Impeccable service with a smile, conveniently located in town centre. The reason why I'm leaving 3 is the food. Normally they are delicious. Maybe it was one of those pre-holiday weekends, Today, I was served avocado eggs toast with bitter unripe avocado and a tough toast. I understand how it will be easily missed due to the festiveness and the crowd waiting outside. Maybe next time it will be back to the old swing. See you soon 😊

My second time here and it didn't disappoint! I had the fantastic vegan salad bowl, deliciously fresh and tasty ingredients and such a large portion that I could only eat half, but a friendly staff member packed up the remainder and I took it with me and enjoyed it later....such a good price too at 11.50 euro. The coffee is good too and I was interested to see that they do outside catering... will definitely return
Anne M — Google review
Great vegan options - really tasty food!
Jean — Google review
The prices are always different depending on the staff member on the till. I paid €10.50 for a salad bowl with 4 items (no meat) and a bottle of lucozade. This seems very expensive. Another time I was charged €15 for two takeaway vol au vents. This again was very expensive. There is no proper pricing displayed

The cafe offers a diverse menu to cater to various tastes, while the gift shop features locally themed items that make for perfect souvenirs.
Breathtaking little gift shop, with absolutely lovely staff. Very patient and willing to help with anything that was needed. The cafe next door was brilliant as well. A little pricy for what you get, but definitely worth a stop if you’d like a quick bite.

This has become a go to spot for us when we go to Ireland. It's become a "we've arrived!" stop for us and is such a nice spot to catch your breath after traveling. It's a short drive from the Dublin airport, is in a beautiful setting and has a great menu. The staff are very friendly and they have an excellent little gift shop as well. Highly recommended!

Very nice small cafe. Lovely staff - service is very fast. I had the ham and cheese, tomato and onion panini. It was delicious with a nice side of crisps. Would return if doing a tour of Tara again!

Absolute delight of a cafe with friendly staff, excellent food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Absolutely worth a stop in to have a cup of something warm or a good meal.

Arrived last Fri at 2.30pm the place was very quite, I was told to sit wherever & then we had to ask for a menu 10mins ltr. We ordered eventually got our food then had to try & get there attention again for a pot of tea. Went up to pay & they had our table food order in a total mess eventually got it sorted but u need to get ur staff up to speed & get someone there to manage the staff. Nobody seem to know what they were doing. Worst experience in my life

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here yesterday and I feel terrible leaving a bad review but when it comes to allergies and dietary restrictions, establishments need to be so careful. My husband has an allergy to onion and asked for a wrap without onion, stating that he has an allergy. The wrap arrived with onion and he had to send it back. No apology or accountability when it arrived back out again and after a few bites he found bits of onion in the wrap. He has been quite unwell for the past 24 hours as a result. If they weren’t able to offer it without onion, just say that. He would have happily gone without food at all as long as it meant not having a reaction.

It has a beautiful view that soothes your soul. The desserts are delicious. The hot chocolate was especially delicious. I've always liked boutique cafes like this more than larger ones.

The menu features delicious food at reasonable prices, making it an ideal spot for casual meet-ups with friends. While some diners have experienced minor service hiccups, many rave about the quality of the meals and the warm ambiance that fills this charming eatery.
We happened to spot this little place while walking around. I'm glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing. And some fine coffee, which a rare. One if not the best breakfasts I've ever had, EVER. Take the time, go dig in. When I'm back that side of the country, I will be back.

Great place. Great breakfast. Nice kind staff and nice service. It was cooked and served in no time. Reasonably priced. I would recommend this place based on all the above and if you are looking for somewhere to have a meet or catch up with a friend. Don't mind the haters and the keyboard warriors. I would recommend Aurthers

Very good served food, not big portion with affordable price, great smiles young fella serviced us with some food information. The restaurant is not too busy during weekday, and clean with comfort chairs. Definitely great choice to have your lunch in Town 😊 I have got two mini video for their menu and the food that I will upload it soon

It was a cosy and relaxing atmosphere to have breakfast with great service and warm hosts/hostesses. I'll be there again tomorrow morning. They have several breakfast options to cost from and it's obvious that the food and service are good as the place was almost filled up shortly after I was served. I really loved it

Marks & Spencer, often affectionately referred to as M&S, is a delightful shopping destination that truly shines thanks to its exceptional staff. Visitors frequently rave about their experiences in the Navan store, where friendly and attentive employees create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're there for a bra fitting or simply browsing through their impressive selection of clothing, footwear, and lingerie, you can expect personalized service that makes your visit enjoyable.
The staff working in the cafe are so polite, friendly & helpful in the Navan M&S branch. A great team!!

Excellent service throughout the store. Love the Hot Chocolate in the Cafe. Very friendly staff and excellent quality of clothes and food. Love the plant kitchen range.
Sandra D — Google review
I would not use their bra measuring services. They mismatched my bra size 3 CUPS TOO SMALL. It's appalling that they call themselves "trained" to do so. Other than that a bit expensive compared to other fast fashion brands but the quality is better, comparable to Dunnes or sometimes better. Definitely one of the best places to get cheap good quality shoes. 3/5 because of the bra service, caused me horrible problems over the time I used said bra matched by them until I went to the proper bra shop where they professionally measured me.
Dashiya — Google review
I headed in over the Christmas to pick up a few bits in the food hall. My first time in the shop! .. I’m not an M&S regular but said I’d go in and get some treats and see what it’s like. I am the sort that will spend good money on quality food and was excited to try some new bits. For somewhere that is so expensive I was extremely disappointed with the treatment from the staff. I get that everyone has good days and bad days but the store wasn’t at all busy and the lady at the checkout was very rude. I’ve had better customer service in aldi. I’m not one to complain usually but if your going in and paying 40+ quid for…about 5 small items, you would think at the very least the checkout staff would be friendly. Really put me off going near their stores again unfortunately.
Aoife — Google review
The Navan branch is a very good store, but its greatest quality by far is the staff. From the security to ladies behind the tills they are all very attentive and helpful. The store is also very child friendly. My toddler loves going in on a Friday evening or a Saturday morning to get a treat.

Had a lovely experience today, I went in for a bra fitting which can sometimes feel very uncomfortable but a lovely lady called Therese in the Navan store made me feel so comfortable and was very informative about the products. Therese came with a lovely selection and was so comfortable that I kept in on. I would Definatley recommend here for a very good service with very friendly staff. Very happy customer and will be returning 😊

I was in M&S yesterday afternoon I needed to get fitted for a bra, the lady that assisted me was one of the nicest ladies I ever had assisting me. Her name was Cicely. She was most helpful and had a very cheerful, warm personality. It is lovely to meet people like Cicely, well done.

Nestled along the scenic Navan to Kingscourt Greenway, PARK BEO Greenway Hub serves as an ideal pit stop for adventurers exploring the Boyne Valley and Lakelands. Located just 9km from Navan, this charming hub is adjacent to Doughtys Texaco Mace service station, which offers a variety of amenities including a butchery, deli options, and even a car wash.
This was my second time to cycle along the Navan to Kingscourt Greenway. This time the weather played havoc with plans and we only got half way before we turned back towards Navan. We decided to call at Park Beo for a toilet brake and cuppa to warm us and what a cyclists treasure we found. Toilets were immaculate, tea and coffee great with some treats if needed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are park benches for better weather and a little shelter for days like today. There are even bike charging units available for e-bikes. There are lots of parking spots if this is where you’d like to begin your greenway journey. If you’d like to park up and hire a bike for the day there is a cycle hire shop with e-bike and push bike options. I think there may also be a bike technician available and bicycles for sale. The reason we stopped on our way back to Navan was it’s only 8km from the beginning of the greenway at Navan and this was too early to be stopping.. however we might well start from this point the next time as the carpark is much safer than the side of the road options in Navan. I strongly recommend you try out the Greenway for a walk or cycle and make sure to check out the Park Beo Greenway Hub🙌🤗
Nuala O — Google review
Super stopping point on the greenway. We had our own bikes and started in Navan, but there is a big car park and facility for renting bikes. Toilets are clean, lovely cafe with a big selection of items. Outdoor and covered seating.
Lisa D — Google review
Lovely greenway, plenty of approximately 30km one way, there are plenty of places to stop and relax. There is small lake near Nobber which gives you a mixture of landscapes. You can pack food and picnic at plenty of lovely spots on the way. Park at Park Beo Wilkinstown as there is plenty of parking, food, toilets and rental bikes. If you park at park Beo the initial 7.7km will be cut short. Also, shout out to Feelgood Bicycles for their amazing service, we have been here twice and used their bicycles. Bikes are in top condition and is really helpful for those who don't have bikes or don't want to carry one around.
Lahari A — Google review
Brilliant new facility to access the Greenway at Wilkinstown. All services are provided for bikes, plus a sheltered seated area for having a snack. Also a large carpark with lighting and plenty of room for expansion. Well done Guy's, incredible achievement!

Safe and free parking for the Navan to Cavan greenway! Great picnic facilities, there's a petrol station, convenience store, Bike rental and a Coffee and Tea horsebox cafe. Super place - will definitely be back.

Great innovation by a local business. Excellent parking. Lovely coffee and snacks and great clean facilities. The best spot to start a day exploring the Lakeland Greenway
David W — Google review
PARK BEO Greenway Hub is a fantastic amenity for all visitors to the Navan- Kingscourt Greenway and for the local communities of Wilkinstown, Rathkenny,Castletown, Lobinstown & beyond. The family friendly facilities are top class, with a lovely cafe serving great coffee, hot chocolate and toasties amongst other tasty offerings not to forget great ice-cream. It's a good meeting place with a generous covered seating area and picnic benches, all wonderfully landscaped. There's also a bike rental service business located there so there's no excuse to get out cycling on the lovely Greenway. The restrooms are well looked after. All in all a great place to visit and well deserved 5 stars rating.
