Staffs are friendly and fast response. On my visit I ordered : American Sandwich, Beef Bulgogi Burger, Avocado Coffee, and King Mango juice without cream. Well ... i dunno if i should say the stuffs are pricey or not but all I can say is the price worth the taste. For example, the sandwich ... comparison between the bread and the fillings, the fillings are just as maxi. Besides, the foods are newly made, not "re-heat" type like in some other famous coffee stores. I just hate the tax ... 😄😄😄

This is one of the place if you're looking for classic and modern kind of local coffee, or toraja coffee in particular. Usually local coffee are being sold in small warung, but this one they upgraded it to the next level and bringing Starbucks vibes into it. The coffee was pretty good, less acid and has strong aroma, they even sell the coffee beans in dedicated area. Pretty chill place to hangout with friends or clients, very recommended.

I like this coffee shop. It offers various ways to us to drink coffee, such as drip, french press, siphon, etc. Not only how they serve it, the coffee options are great too. You can taste different coffee variant from several places in Toraja. The snacks menu are good too: cakes, croissants, bread, puff pastry, fritters, etc; perfect to accompany your coffee time. Building is cozy, open kitchen concept, a roasting room which you can see, nice sofa and smoking area as well.

It's a cool and clean place. A nice artistic cafe with souvenirs shop. Coffee was good. Service was excellent. The bartender and cashier know exactly what i want for my coffee and gave me exactly what I want To be fair, i couldn't give them 5 star (yet) because I haven't tried their food. I won't hesitate to give them 5 stars whenever I've tried their food and satisfied by them.

Modern styled coffee and restaurant place. Clean and good facilities. Mainly tourist come here. But the food is good and service as well. Also they sell some souvenirs. Good option to eat at, if you want Indonesian food but if you don’t want plastic chairs at a food stand

The local guide brought me here for lunch and it was one of his best decision! The food served was very nice. As a matter of fact, the Nasi Goreng served here was probably the best I had during my entire trip to Indonesia. The decor is simple but very pleasing to the eye. The young waitress who took the order was was very friendly and cheerful. It didn't take long for the food to arrive and it was delicious and the portions quite large. Similarly with the dessert, the portion could feed a small family! Definitely a must visit restaurant if you are ever in the area ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was lovely and the service was very good too. There are plenty of options in the menu. At this restaurant you can find Indonesian food and special dishes of Toraja. We went twice for diner and the place was full of tourists, including families with children.

I think the noodles are less mature & still too hard to serve. but for other food my friend said it has good taste. the place is nice, clean, the bathroom is clean there are elements of ethnic Toraja in every corner. Love it!

Best place to see sunset in Makassar. View is awesome and staff is humble. I ordered tropical sensation drink, taste is great. Place is clean and comfy. You can see Makassar from here because is on 20th floor. If separate smoking with non smoking it will be great.

One of the best places to see sunset and city view of Makassar. The price is kinda pricey though, but it's worthed with the ambiance of this sky lounge. The service is excellent and the food taste is good. The best part is we can reserve without any upfront payment. Can I give more than 5 stars?

I always have time for pisang ijo in Makassar. Tried pisang ijo at this resto and I like it. The sweetness level is perfect for me. The staffs are friendly & adept. The resto also have menus for breakfast & lunch.

Legendary cafe which starts off selling variety of snacks and pastries. Nowadays they still sell those products along with other light meals. We tried the bubur manado which surprisingly packs a great flavour and must try despite the hot weather. We also tried one of Makassar famous dessert, es Pisang Hijau (green banana ice). Imagine es cendol with one extra topping that you hardly see anywhere. It's banana wrapped in this green dough (not sure why) but it works! Food - 7 Service - 7 Vibe - 7 Price - $$

The ambiance is well thought out. Unbelievable the best avocado toast ever and the gado² also ridiculously good! The juice is not as remarkable definitely coming back for breakfast! Ps: I came back for breakfast, and this time, the avocado toast only had one egg, not like the last time with two eggs. The other issue is that they take so long to serve you it happened last time, too, and they even forgot my friend's crepes on my first visit. It's still amazing food, though.

Our guide brought us here for breakfast. Really good selection of Indo and Western (Anglo Saxon) options. Very clean, western, clean bathrooms. We loved it and came again for breakfast today. Avocado toast with tomato and poached egg was a favorite. We asked for a platter of fresh fruit , which was not on the menu, which was wonderful: nicely plated and delicious. Scrambled eggs and toast were scrumptious. Highly recommend!!!

The atmosphere of this coffee shop is gorgeous, really cozy and comfortable. The food options is quite vary, and the price is not overprice for a coffee shop standard, in fact it is worth it. I tried the spaghetti carbonara and it's quite delicious. The Toraja coffee in here is recommended, you should try it. We actually stay in the hotel that is one building with this coffee shop, or restaurant hahaha. Definitely a must go to place when you visit Toraja. Ohh one more thing, the staff understand english as well, so don't worry.

Excellent restaurants experience at kaana Toraya coffee. It was such a good experience that we went there three times. We ordered a variety of meals, the standouts were gado fado and the banana fritters, though everything was excellent. Service is great, staff is always aware of your needs. The kitchen is quick and good. The portions are good for the prices. The atmosphere is nice, with always a few people but without loud music and much noise. Overall great experience, hence why we visited 3 times!

We stayed at Hotel Pison for our honeymoon (which is practically connected to this café-restaurant), and ended up having all our meals here — everything was delicious! They serve both local dishes and Western-style options. We especially loved the regional coffee, the poached egg toast with guacamole, and the crêpes 😋. The decoration is also wonderful — cozy, stylish, and full of charm. Plus, the girls working there are absolutely lovely. 100% recommended!

She explained and showed me how they carefully separate the coffee beans they receive, and then they roast them in an oven that was handmade by the owner's father. These are the kind of places that make you love and feel at home when you travel. When you enter, you realize you are in a special place because not only are there passing foreigners, but also locals and people from all over Indonesia who come and return, not just for the quality and service but also for the atmosphere. It is gratifying to see places like this in one’s trips.

classic coffee house located 90 minute drive from manado. opened in 1946 if im not mistaken toast bread srikaya is very recommended, albeit a bit burnt, req for not burnt the bakpao is also very good. coffee and tea also excellent place is very crowded in the afternoon. staff and owner is very friendly. toilet is also very clean warning: full of people smoking ( expected in a coffee house in indonesia) so take extra note when bringing small children . overall very recommend.

The price is reasonable for a descent quality and taste. I just don't like the smoke, perhaps you could add a smoking area. One plus thing more is they are fast! You don't have to wait for a long time.

Nostalgic. Because my first Starbucks was back to many years ago aboard at other countries. There are people like it for the brand, for the items, for the taste, or fot the relationship. But i like it for the memories. And genuine in almost every aspect. If they are still in huge amount of plastic, they started encourage customers to come and bring our own bottles or cups. Love it.

Come here about twice a month. Am so disappointed of the cleanliness of this place, premium price with this outcome. Probably because less workers here but please improve on this. People are quite nice so no worries on this. Coffee is standardized so nothing to review for the taste.

Located at the front view of Manado's busiest mall, I think it's more suitable for having lunch or small talks rather than doing work or group project because you might get distracted by the sound of music the mall currently playing (considering the street too, it is pretty noisy).

We always enjoy a visit to Starbucks. It's a little expensive than some other similar places but have to say we think it's worth it. It is very often busy so the price can't be that off-putting. Inside the cafe is air conditioned to a very pleasant temperature and you can sit outside if you want to smoke. The snacks and cakes are very tasty. My favourite is spicy tuna bread with sweet chilli and tomato sauce with a caramel mochiata (hot) drink. My wife loves the cheesecake and iced drinks. Now I have got one gripe and if it hadn't been for this I would have given 5 stars. Just outside the entrance is always a sign advertising speciality drinks. Some of these are very tempting but when we try to order they always seem to be sold out. Going back a few months there was a chestnut flavoured drink advertised. I love chestnuts. I tried on six different occasions to order the drink but every time I was told sold out. Every time, whether morning, afternoon or evening, sold out. I'm not sure if I believe them. Maybe they have to get ingredients from Jakarta. When I put that to them they just smiled. But generally we find a visit to Starbucks enjoyable.

It's Starbucks - it's OK coffee, speedy service and high prices but what else would you expect? Located in Mantos shopping mall it fits in we with other shops and is a good place to take a break from the retail therapy. Watch out for food which might have been sat for a while, we have had some suspiciously dry cakes...

Great place and very comfortable have nice decorations, staff also welcoming and friendly I like the atmosphere when it's an evening with the beautiful lights in the garden area. Suggestion: Should be more upgrades for the taste of food, the first time being here I tried chicken roulette the creme was still tasteless and the next time I came I order 2 Nasi Goreng it's just the same it should be more flavored since we're living in Manado we had many kinds of spices. And the prices of the menu are quite in the middle up so we expect more for it 😊 Well, the Tahu gula is yummy😋 Hope would be better 👍

Healing place! I went here quite late at about 8pm n the view is so nice, so many lamps & lightings. The weather, the wind.. Th outdoor is so recommended! Food wise, damn nice. This beef cubes are surprisingly very good with sambal matah on em. The coffee is fine too. The service is great too! They'll welcome you from the entrance gate and very polite as well. Must, must go! Comeee!

The shop owner is a couple, we came here to taste coffee and purchase some coffee beans.The host was very approachable and explained the taste of each coffee bean. We ordered a cup of espresso, a cup of caramel macchiato, latte, and tiramisu,pancake with ice cream. The taste is very good, and later I also bought four bags of coffee beans. Very nice place for good coffee. The owners are welcoming people with a real passion for coffee. They grow their own beans in a sustainable way and are proud of that. The coffee here is fantastic and the owners and the care they take make it extra special. This is a gem in Tomohon! They are involved in every step of the process of getting that bean from the plant into your cup. I wish every coffee shop could be like this. He took us to the coffee farm on the mountain and gave us a tour of his little farm in the back of the coffee shop. Glad to find this coffee spot. I am not a big fan of Toraja coffee because of its high acidity, but the barista/owner brewed a cup of Toraja’s Awan coffee that was so lovely to my palate and stomach. Plus a great coffee talk I had with him 😁. A must-visit coffee place in Rantepao.

Went yesterday and couldn't fault the service from the female staff. Went again today and get told by some moronic male that I can't smoke outside. Yet it was OK yesterday he was probably too lazy to get an ashtray. There are plenty of outdoor areas around the mall so no need to come back here.

Finally they renovate the cafe. More clean and bright now with the new concept. They also separate smoking and non smoking but I still can smell the smoke 😥. It's a good place to chill. The server is very friendly. My favorite drinks here is the ice green tea latte. For the food, the most favorite here is chicken wing. But today I try the tower egg noodles. I think the egg gravy is too little, but the taste is quite good.

I was there when my mom called out from her comfy sofa when she was waiting for take away orders. My mom was sit nicely when one of the waitress ASK HER TO MOVE without hesitation and leave her stand alone in the middle restaurant, while she must wait for her take away orders to come. Nobody give her seat or trying to help my mom there, so I walked to the another staff and start complaining. They do apologize cz thats what all they had! Even my mom's order not completed and she must take another minutes to wait while standing with her own feet, the staffs dont even give my mom a chair. A single chair should help but they dont. I just ask my mom to leave her orders that still on the making and walked away. As a famous restaurant your staffs should have known HOW TO TREAT A CUSTOMER!!! But its ok, now I know it so thank you so much. I wont comeback to this restaurant. EVER!!!!!

One of the worst coffee chain. Many food items in the menu not available. Want to order Jasmine ice tea they said can only do hot tea. Ice tea only those specialty drinks. Taste of food is horrible and serving time is super long.

I Had this matcha tapioca pearl thing the other day, the taste was average it’s the straw that too small and couldn’t fit for the tapioca pearl. It’s so annoying it was so hard to even take a sip because the pearl keep blocking, i had this take away so I can’t spoon it away. Change the straw, the beverage you served wasn’t cheap, don’t give away your customers some difficulties!

went here when i was on work trip. it was close from the hotel i stayed in and the office. the coffee was nice, just the way i liked it. the interior was surprisingly comfy. the people were not loud. the quiche was just okay but i ordered peanut butter toast on my second visit and it was dreamy, and the kind gesture of the man who delivered my coffee (he offered me warm water when i said my stomach was not well) was a nice touch. would revisit should i ever find myself in makassar again

The place is neat, clean, borderline spartan but the coffee is great, brewed with care and enthusiasm by very eager staff. Food is basic, but the omelette I had there for breakfast this morning was by far superior to that I was served at my hotel. It helps that the owner is there, making sure everything is right. The coffee pot which contain fine ground robusta (?) was put over a charcoal stove, make sure full extraction. It was so strong that the bartender (can I call it so?) put additional water before served. Kopi susu, with added sweetened condensed milk (or creamer?), was the most popular item. Toast, instant noodle are available as well. The shop has been in the business for long. It has similar vibe to kopitiam in Belitung, Lampung, or Makassar. Respect for its longevity in the business.

The foods are amazing with decent price! I went here a few times when I went to Gorontalo cause the place was comfortable. I ordered mock tails, wraps, spaghetti, matcha latte, crapes, and more and it was delicious! Highly recommended to come here.

The service here was absolutely diabolical. They gave us the wrong order, sat like confused ducks when we told them that they messed up the order, and then proceeded to charge us for it. Though we attempted to explain the situation, they ended up charging us for the more expensive item that we did NOT order and removed a cheaper item that we DID order. The food itself was fine, but the drinks were not very good. Overall, they were too sweet. The Borneo Lime was particularly terrible and was garnished with a lemon, NOT a lime. We also ordered a non-sweet raspberry tea, but the servers failed to mention that the “tea” was made with a raspberry flavored syrup, and thus, would be sweet regardless. There was also an ant in one drink and a hair in another. The atmosphere was nice with spacious seating, but had a pest problem with cockroaches in the bathroom and mosquitos. There is free wi-fi, but it is slow, so it’s not effective for a working environment. Overall though, the atmosphere was the best part of the experience. TLDR: We will not be coming back here again.

When i visited Kopination was hosting a Battle of the Bands type of concert. It was loud and was not very comfortable for visiting customers. But the Martabak is still one of the most unique that I have ever tasted.

The disadvantages are the waiting time for food to be served is too long, and the parking lot is quite small, whereas parking on the road-side is prohibited.

What i love about this cafe are.. the vietnam coffee is just simply the best in town, and the foods taste good also.. good place also to hang with friends out..

Black Cup only serves coffee and light bites. Ordered their Latte, light coffee and a tad too foamy for a latte. It was pretty packed when I went. Not a lot of indoor seats are available but plenty of them outdoor.

The place to go if you're looking for unique food options. My cheese meat split pizza was divine. The atmosphere is a bit too pink which might put some people off, but other than that it's quite comfy.

Very tasty delicious food! Our 1st visit was very disapounted, we have waited for our order more than 1 hour, our order was forgott but for this was the excuse in form of very delicious fruit salat. The 2d visit was exellent!!! With very quickly and professionell service! We are very satisfied and highly recommend this place:)

The ambiance is so relaxing, interior so nice, price is quite affordable.. I think the foods is just so so, pasta is good, but chicken a bit too dry. I only try their iced mocha, for me it's a little too sweet, but it depends on your preferences..

Located in Phinisi Point, unfortunately, there were lots of unavailable menus on our visitation (because of the maintenance). Quick and friendly service. Ordered their alpenliebe latte (45K) and lemon ice tea (35 K) excl. tax. The latte was a little bit disappointing; we felt that the milk was too strong.

I came here few times but today I'm disappointed because I ordered chicken parmigiana which having pesto sauce (that's the reason I bought it) and it coming to me with only tomato without pesto. Then I asked the staff and he said they are run out of the pesto sauce, and just saying sorry for not telling me before after the food given to me, if I'm not asking then they will pretend like nothing happened and not explain before. The other thing is don't come here if you want the place that good for working, it's so noisy when I was there. Will think twice to comeback here again.

Good place to relax, read books, or catch-up with news on your mobile phones. Do come early in the morning if you can, avoid afternoon and evening, as this place turns into a public library and game centre or internet kioks (gaming laptops everywhere, and loud noises from people trying to finish their assignments).
