Nestled in the heart of Himachal's winter capital, Yellow Llama Cafe and Lounge is a delightful spot for families and friends to gather. This charming cafe boasts both cozy indoor seating and an inviting outdoor terrace that showcases stunning views of Dharamshala and the majestic Dhaludhar peaks. The menu is a culinary journey, featuring a diverse array of dishes ranging from authentic Indian cuisine to European and Chinese specialties, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian palates.
The host was delightful. The food was beyond imagination, so fresh, so full of flavour and love. And the view was breathtaking. My absolute favourite stop at dharamshala.

Well, I have had an experience at yellow lama cafe. I have enjoyed my time soo much there having mountains at one side and watching cricket match on tv at other side. They had an amazing variety of food as well with an exotic taste. Must visit cafe, do come and enjoy your time.

Views, Vibes & expired spice...😆 🍕 Yellow Llama Café – Pizza with a View Tucked right in the Dharamshala main market, this café is hard to miss, bright yellow board, right at the corner of the parking area, calling you in like a friendly llama 🦙. You climb a couple of stairs (yep, not wheelchair friendly) and boom - great vibe, cozy corners, and a killer view of the Dhauladhar hills 🌄 (from outside though, not your table). The pizza was awesome, baguette and drinks hit the spot, and the service was quick. Just wish the chili flakes weren’t vintage edition..(though they quickly changed and gave us fresh ones). Bit of dust here and there, but who cares when the mood’s good and the food’s better? ✅ OK to try if you’re in Dharamshala. Come for the view, stay for the pizza - and maybe check the expiry dates yourself! 😉

Great view with average food. You can spend time here with a cup of coffee and read books. Ambience, location & view are worth trying once.

Cafe is located in the main market in the dharamshala. Atmosphere and vibes were decent. One must visit this cafe for getting fancy vibes. We ordered their signature pizza and it was quiet nice. Service was also good. Highly Recommended 👍🏻
Ishita P — Google review
We went to Yellow Llama on the recommendation of a local shopkeeper in Dharamshala market and I must say, her recommendation was quite good. From the street, it feels like a small/old school cafe, but, the amoment you reach the restaurant level and vista opens up in front of you...you realise you've come to the right place. We were really tired and just wanted to grab a bite. But, we were related to see the view from the cafe and we got the best seat on the upper deck overlooking the lower Dharamshala. The cafe is decently done. The views are just superb. There is decent number of offerings in the menu. We ordered Llama Signature pizza and Llama Signature Devil Own coffee. Both the items were quite good. Staff was polite. Service was good.
Subodh G — Google review
Went there for a quick brunch. It's supposed to have a great view but we went when it was cloudy so didn't see much. Something to note here is that it's a pub/cafe, so you can find hookah and beer here if you want. Actually, only their hookah is the reasonably priced item on the menu because everything else seems to have a premium charge. Not an issue as long as you know what you're getting into. We tried their pizza and it was above average. Nothing too bad but nothing too revolutionary either. They got one of the ingredients slightly wrong. I didn't want to deal with rude staff because of past experience but when they asked me after eating they said we should've told them with a smile. The service is superb and the staff is very polite and friendly. Nicest service experience during my Dharamshala-Mcleodganj trip. I'll recommend visiting for drinks here (if the weather is good).
Vineet G — Google review
ONLY GO THERE FOR THE VIEW! Food is rubbish, absolutely disgusting & expensive too. Drinks are also not good. We tried Hakka noodles- ohkayish Steam chicken momos- stale, hard & uncooked White sauce pasta- chalky flavour Chilly Chicken- stale & bad taste Cold coffee & ice tea- zero flavour, only water Spring rolls- good & crispy

Kwality Restaurant is a must-visit place located on Hilltop in Chamba, offering a 360-degree view. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes including spring rolls, dosa, and sizzlers with both Italian and Indian options available on the menu. Visitors can enjoy their meals while taking in the scenic views. With positive reviews from travelers, it's known for its excellent food and picturesque location.
Visited this place for dinner and the food was absolutely drool-worthy! We went with a group of four and ordered vegetarian North Indian dishes. The total bill came to around ₹1700, which is quite reasonable for the quality and quantity served. The location is super convenient, right at Gandhi Chowk, making it easily accessible. Among the options available in the area, this is definitely one of the better restaurants to dine at. If you're in Dalhousie and craving North Indian food, this place is a solid choice!
Devinder S — Google review
Excellent eatry in the happening Gandhi Chowk of Dalhousie. The service was very prompt and friendly. Food quality was excellent Honey chilly potatoes with proper crisp and sweet hot tangyness was a good start, followed by ghar ki daal, almost same as home cooked, malai kofta in a peach colored rich curry and butter chicken.. Nan and roti were fresh Odd pick of egg sandwich proved to be excellent too. Overall the food was very tatseful and balanced on spices and richness. The place was full with guests, still from taking our order to serving the food staff was very prompt. Overall a great dinner experience
Nikhil D — Google review
I'm giving this place a glowing review because the food is excellent! I especially appreciate the dedication to authentic flavors. I was initially disappointed that the North Indian options weren't available during my first visit (between 4 and 7 pm), but it was well worth revisiting after 7 pm. Highly recommend!

Good place to have lunch. The place gets crowded during rush hour. They have a good selection of indian, Pan Asian and continental cuisine. Not many tables though..... The staff are polite and the food quality is good.
Aritra B — Google review
We stopped for lunch enroute to Khajjiar. Parking is a little difficult to find during peak hours. Once inside, there is comfortable seating. Service is quick and our food arrived in no time. Flavors are spot on, servers are attentive to food customization and there's a decent washroom. Overall a nice experience in Dalhousie.

Great food and service. Non Veg Platter, Non Veg Combo and Apple Pie with icecream have been tried. Excellent service for a humble restaurant

Simply Outstanding! Kwality Restaurant absolutely exceeded all expectations. The food was beyond delicious, a true culinary delight! What truly amazed me was the service: despite being incredibly busy with people waiting, the team operated with remarkable smoothness and calm – no chaos, just perfect efficiency. The place was spotless, and even the owner personally checked in with us. A truly impeccable dining experience from start to finish. Highly, highly recommend!

Punjabi restaurant
Indian restaurant
Old Sher-e-Punjab Dhaba with Himachali Kitchen is a renowned restaurant in Dalhousie, offering authentic and delectable Indian cuisine. Located at Subhash Chowk, it is one of the oldest eateries in the area. The menu features Amritsari kulcha, chana masala, biryani, chat-pata buttermilk, and tandoori paratha.
I’ve eaten here 3 nights in a row since being in Dalhousie. One of the few restaurants to offer a solid himachal cuisine selection. Ordered a selection of veg and non veg dishes - all were delicious & portions generous for the price. Hygiene very good & food very easy to digest, as a foreigner with sensitive stomach this has not always been the case in other restaurants. Fully recommend to anybody staying in dalhousie!
Jonathan B — Google review
I had a truly awful experience at this restaurant. We ordered the lemon chicken, and it was not only the worst I've ever had, but it was also stinky. The dish was inedible. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the lemon sauce was overly sour, and the smell was repulsive. I couldn't even take more than one bite. It's a shame because I was looking forward to a nice meal, but this was a complete disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. One star is too generous for this experience. Avoid it at all costs
Sahil S — Google review
Worst experience. I asked for dahi. They brought big bowl and told me i can only buy this. Not giving the small portion. Trying to rip customers. Not recommending to anyone. Pronthe was worse.
Kamalpreet B — Google review
The concept is good and the owner is polite and energetic, however the food itself leaves so much to be desired. The main highlight here should be the Himachal cuisine and it's highlighted in their Himachali Thali..coming to that the veg options in that Thali are quite fresh and flavour is good however the non veg options need a lot of improvement (specially mutton) Coming to amenities they are bare minimum..the wash basin is awkwardly placed near the entrance and the washroom was under renovation at time of visit.
Charn S — Google review
Ambience is really royal . People are so helpful and sweet here . Services are amazing . Price is affordable. Taste is really good . Masala papad was really good I haven’t tried this type of masala papad before .
Akansha J — Google review
There are lot of Sher-e- punjab around Dalhousie. This one is at Subhash Chowk. Only this one is with himachali kitchen. We had dinner here, wanted to try Himachali thali. Food was really good and unique. We wanted to try non veg Himachali thali but it was not available. So we tried veg one. Service was prompt. Only problem was tha thali quantity should be more as compared to price.
Komal S — Google review
This place is called Sher e Punjab now. They don't serve Himachali thali anymore because of less crowd these days. But we still wanted to taste something local so we ordered Madhra which is a local rajma dish made in curd gravy. It was fine and very different from our regular rajma sabji. But it had an irritating amount of badi elaichi in it. I got elaichi seeds in each and every bite. I personally don't like a bite on elaichi or badi elaichi (ofcourse I love their flavor). Apart from that service is good and ambience is good and done in Himachali interiors.
Sachin P — Google review
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I've tried here a local specialty - veg Thali and I wasn't disappointed. It's great for all the Dal lovers, I liked some of the versions very much and all of them had a unique taste. The price was affordable considering the locality (200 INR). After a meal a wanted a dessert, there is a ice cream stall connected with a restaurant. The ice cream is very tasty, but to my surprise I paid 130 INR for a "big" cup - it was pretty small. So be aware of this higher price for an ice cream. The table with exact pricing is missing here.

Café Dalhousie, situated in the lower floor of Hotel Dalhousie, is a renowned and historic café offering a diverse menu featuring South Indian, Chinese, and Indian cuisine. The café is celebrated for its vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties as well as delectable homemade cakes and pancakes. With panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys, it's a popular spot to savor global cuisine options such as grilled sandwiches, pizza, shakes, and more.
Last week we visited Dalhousie, mid June 23.This cafe is centrally located. This was very close to our hotel so we enjoyed eating here a few times. I liked fried rice and Manchurian with gravy. All the mocktails were delicious. There are many shops near the cafe, selling souvenirs. Ambience is good. Interior is classy having cosy feel. .Service is quick. Reasonable prices. A must visit place while strolling in the busy market to enjoy coffee, soft drinks, snacks Or meals.

This cafe is situated at Gandhi chawk. This is cozy place. Heritage looks is main attraction of this cafe. We had ordered coffee which was excellent and chicken pizza. Pizza was okay. This is not actual cafe, rather simple multicuisine restaurant. I came here for bakery items but vain hope.
Siddhartha D — Google review
A quaint little hotel and restaurant with a history that goes back to the colonial period in India, no trip to the serene little town of Dalhousie is complete without a visit here. At the junction of Gandhi Chowk , Cafe Dalhousie with its sea green wooden structure cannot be missed anyway too. The interior with its historical heritage showcased in the photographs on display and its decor telling of a time bygone are just the beginning. The Himachali cuisine it serves is worth every minutes’ wait. Dal Madra ( Rajma) and Dahi chicken, Khatta Mutton ( prepared with anardana) can be enjoyed with rice and tandoori rotis. And if you want to spend a day or two at Dalhousie , then upstairs is the hotel. ( though I cannot give a review for that as I did not visit it). And yes next door is a sweet shop which also serves the elusive Himachali ‘ fast food’ Siddu ( not found easily everywhere). So do add that to your itinerary too. Walk around the little town , visit the Indo- Tibetan Bazaar, the Bhuttico shop selling Himachali shawls, caps and the like, the St. Andrew’s Church next to the GPO, the St. Francis Church at Netaji Subhash Chowk…. and when you get tired return to Cafe Dalhousie for a hot cup of tea. It will make your visit more memorable.
K R — Google review
Place looks nice and straight out of British era. Once you see the kitchen and people preparing your food the perception about the place will change. Pav bhaji was good. We asked them what is your best selling thing and he asked us to order Madre. Warning! Don't order it, it is weird tangy and God knows what is flowing over Rajma in the name of ghee.
Ankita R — Google review
Full story. Big fight ahead.I advised my friends to visit this restaurant based on my previous experience. Not even a single dish was up to mark. Not even up to basic standards. We were starving. We somehow managed to eat. We assumed it was a mistake on the chef 's end. But it was our biggest mistake. At bill payment time, We told cashier to slash bill by 50% . As the food was not even nearby to standards. I confronted the manager. The manager literally pushed me out of restaurant. His staff was ready to fight me. I recommend everyone not to visit cafe delhousie especially with family. It is not what I remember.

If you’re in Dalhousie you’ll see this place once for sure. The best part about this cafe is its location! Cafe Dalhousie is located Right in the middle of Dalhousie at Gandhi Square. Coming to the food. They’ve lots of options to try from. We tried a few but the spices were not to our taste. Didn’t order much to make an opinion about the quality of food though. We loved their Chai! Do try it if you’ve spare time and need hot cup of Tea. Food : 6/10 Beverages: 8/10 Location: 10/10 Price: 6/10

So......... we had multiple options to choose from the restaurants on the afternoon we reached Dalhousie on a short day trip, but happened to choose this pathetic place for a lunch at around 2.00pm... Firstly, we asked the waiter to tell us about their speciality in food.. the answer was... "The menu is there" After selecting from the menu, we decided to order stuff.. the answer was " Sir ye nahi hai, sir wo nahi hai". We order 2 Jeera Rice and 2 Daal tadka..... the waiter comes again saying sir.. ek hi daal hai. We ordered for starters (Paneer Tikka).... Answer from waiter ... "Wo abhi nahi milega, banana padega".. what do you mean banana padega boss??? is it a restaurant or are you serving food in Jail? Finally we had to make do with whatever was served... the paneer sabzi they served was tang and a day old. And the last one, they said the rotis are made of wheat, but was clearly maida... I think the Covid wave had hit them very badly to be such rude to their customers. Will never recommend this hell to anybody around Dalhousie. It should be named Khoti Mahal not Moti Mahal. The GulabJamun wala outside the restaurant was more polite and service oriented than the restaurant staff.

Dharamkot! I have visited McLeodganj a handful of times, but I was completely unaware of this charming little gem until recently. During our stroll along the vibrant streets of McLeodganj, we encountered some friendly locals who enthusiastically recommended a visit to Dharamkot. When we mentioned that we had our two young kids with us and that a trek up there might be challenging, they kindly suggested an easier route to lower Dharamkot. Determined to explore, we set out on foot, as the distance was advertised as just 1 kilometre. However, we soon discovered that the path was a steep climb, with an incline of about 50-60 degrees that left us catching our breath. Spotting a Maruti Alto heading in the same direction, we seized the opportunity and flagged it down. For a modest fare of ₹200, we were conveniently dropped off at our destination. Our goal was the Moonlight Cafe, a name that had been enthusiastically shared by a friend. Upon arriving, we quickly realised that the cafe's reputation was well-deserved. Perched on the first floor, the setting was incredibly inviting, with a pristine atmosphere that set it apart. The menu offered a delightful variety of Israeli, Italian, and local cuisines, which piqued our interest. Since we had just finished breakfast, we opted for lighter fare—enjoying steaming cups of coffee and fragrant tea. The ambience was lively, with a few other tourists savouring cold beers, adding to the cheerful vibe. The decor was thoughtful and artistic, creating a warm and welcoming environment. There was even a cosy sitting area where guests could enjoy their meals on mats, complete with bolsters, after removing their shoes, which added a unique touch to the experience. We truly relished our time at the Moonlight Cafe, soaking in the tranquil surroundings and friendly atmosphere. Next time, we’ll make it a point to try out some of their acclaimed dishes!

Located in Dharamkot’s Israel Market, the spot is convenient for exploring the area and easy to find. The atmosphere is pleasant—neat, clean, and comfortable—with a tidy washroom, a shelf of books for reading, and casual games like cards for some downtime. Service was on the slower side during the visit, and the food was just okay, especially considering the slightly higher prices compared to nearby places. It’s also worth noting that it isn’t very kid-friendly, and smoking is allowed indoors, which may not suit families. Overall, a handy location with a relaxed vibe and thoughtful touches, but expectations should be set around pacing, pricing, and the indoor smoking policy.

What a gem in Dharamkot! The rice chicken and Tibetan soup was mouthwatering, and the cafe's atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxing meal. DOST, the friendly German Shepherd, adds a special touch to the experience. The ambience and location couldn't be better. I'll definitely be coming back!

This place is very warm and cosy specially in evening or in night. We went to Barista Cafe in our Dalhousie trip. We went there in last December. Barista cafe is present in subash chowk. It's a very nice area after Gandhi chowk. We went there by walking from Gandhi chowk. This cafe is such a cute place especially for couple. We went there for a coffee, but spent more than one hour in that cafe. That was such a aesthetic place, decoration was so good. Nice interior and furniture. We ordered one cold coffee and one cappuccino. Taste was so good. Service was also nice. Overall all good. It was a very nice experience for us. This place is very good in winter evening and in winter night. You can enjoy your hot coffee in chilling night of Dalhousie. Highly recommend. Please visit this place once.

the Cafe is good and very center point of subash chock. I tried tea here but I suggest to avoid tea if u like Indian masala tea because what I tried was definitely not the tea I like.

The Other Space is a multifaceted establishment in Dharamsala, India that serves as both a cafe and an art gallery. The venue boasts minimalistic interiors with a stunning view of the valley, complemented by the aroma of freshly baked goods and soothing music. It also functions as a co-working space and features exquisite artwork adorning its walls and shelves.
The Other Space in McLeodganj is a cozy gem we couldn’t resist visiting every evening. Their coffee is exceptional—rich and perfectly brewed—paired with the best croissants in town, flaky and delicious. The cakes are equally delightful, and the café’s unique concept adds a special touch. A must-try spot for a warm, relaxing vibe!
Singh G — Google review
A quaint little place on the road to McLeodganj, one might miss it if one isn’t attentive, but once you get in, the place is unforgettable! Looks like an art gallery and a cafeteria in one. The outdoor seating is good for groups of two to three, but there is ample space for a larger group indoors. The food was amazing, well made and served with care, I’d love to visit again the next time I’m here.

Super cute and artistic spot! We stopped by on a Wednesday—there was mellow techno playing like a sundowner, which gave it a great vibe. Had a coffee and fresh bruschetta, both really good. Beautiful views and a creative, chill atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

A must visit if you are in mcloedgunj. 10 mins walk from mall road or Main market but the place & view is worth. The place has aesthetic vibe. Food is really very good loved their Breakfast specially jam & croissant. Mocha was fantastic. Thank you ! 🎆
Aditi — Google review
We recently visited The Other Space café on Jogiwara Road, around 2 km before McLeodganj, lured in by the glowing reviews online. The place looked promising at first—stylish interiors, a young and vibrant vibe, and what seemed like an appealing food menu. It was a typical monsoon day, so the view (which many rave about) was swallowed by thick fog. That’s nature’s doing, and we don’t fault the café for that. What we do fault them for is something far more intrusive and completely avoidable—smoking being allowed in the seating area. We were seated in a small balcony space, trying to enjoy our meal in the cozy weather. But that mood was utterly wrecked when someone nearby lit up a cigarette. And then another guy lit another one. All the smoke, thanks to the wind, kept blowing straight to our table. There was no restriction, no designated smoking zone, no staff intervention, and not even a sign telling people to be mindful of others. It was as if the place encourages people to puff away in shared dining areas. We came for a peaceful meal, not to inhale someone else’s second-hand smoke along with our food. Speaking of food—it was decent, no complaints there. But honestly, what’s the point of decent food and cute décor when you’re constantly battling toxic smoke in a cramped outdoor spot? It’s shocking that no other reviews mention this. Either people are turning a blind eye or the place is just getting away with it. No matter how aesthetic your walls are, how good your food might taste, or how charming your crowd is—if you can’t guarantee a basic non-smoking dining space, you’ve failed your customers. We rushed through our food just to get out of there. The moment the plates were cleared, we left, disappointed and annoyed, in search of a place that values clean air as much as it values its Instagram aesthetic.
Akshay S — Google review
A café with a view and a total vibe check! What a beautifully curated space that brings together food, art, and music so effortlessly. The view from the balcony? Absolutely mesmerizing — the kind that makes you pause and just take it all in. The food is great — the pasta hits the spot, and the coffee is just what you need, whether you're starting your day or winding down. It's the perfect place to sit peacefully with your cup, get some work done, or simply soak in the calm ambience around you. The staff is super friendly, always making you feel at home. And there’s also a little section where you can pick up beautiful pieces made by local artists — such a thoughtful touch. Honestly, what more could you ask from a café? A must-visit if you're around.
Vibha S — Google review
A very cute cafe in Mcleodganj. Great service, great food. The butter croissant is so well done 😍 We also had veggie pizza which was as good. Some wonderful paintings on the cafe walls. Cappuccino was nicely brewed. Music is perfect for good vibes. They also offer a paid workspace (600/- per day) Of course the mountain views can’t be missed. :)

Stumbled upon this cafe on my way back from McLeodganj to Kotwali (Khara danda road) . The food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. The sitting area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. I loved the cozy vibe, with people working on laptops . It's a great spot to take a break and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone passing through🫶☕️

The café provides an appropriate ambience for both casual meetups and professional discussions. It's a favorite spot among locals and tourists due to its good seating capacity and cozy atmosphere.
Visited this cafe yesterday. Cold coffee was 🔥, but definitely on the pricier side. Staff is great, cafe is clean and nice. Perfect if you're watching a movie and want to chill with a coffee. Not ideal for students on a tight budget, though 😂. Worth it if you're feeling fancy!😁🤧

Service wasn't up to the mark It lacked first of all speed Everything was delayed even when there was no rush at all . Secondly the orders were not being taken and given properly Saw someone exchanging there whole order too as it was wrongly made Also the billing If some new item is added in your menu and you are promoting it add it to your billing list with the same name it's not a big thing to do . Because when you bill shows 3 different things and not that one thing you ordered And you are being told that mam it's the flavour that you order it's just we have named it fudge cake That doesn't make sense . It feels like fraud first of all Or you trying to tamper with the sales . If something is on menu it should be on bill simple . I don't want my 1 coffee to b billed as two different things That too without explanation. Because bill/ change money all are provided later Also that too after asking The change should be given without asking We don't have to approach you again for the change . That's wrong . Simple .

We have ordered a Dutch Truffle cake through Zomato but didn't like the cake, it was not set properly. The moment we have the cut the cake, the lower bread was on one side, and the upper cream portion got completely separated. It is not at all upto the quality standards of CCD. Completely disappointed with the cake, not worth the price paid.
Prianka A — Google review
Very disappointing experience with CCD, Food, Service and overall Atmosphere. With a company that prides itself on an extremely dedicated and customer focus service. This particular CCD lacks in it All. From incorrect charges, No remembrance of the change to be given back as well as providing food which was sub par. We saw it All. Earlier in March 2025, we visited Dharamshala and while returning we saw CCD closer to Bus stop and Long behold we wanted some great coffee.. However, the experience has made me revisit my decision to ever visit any CCD again. We ordered a special for which we were not told that the raw material for the original is not something that the store had. Our order was taken and we thought it would be the Drink which we ordered. It took more than 1/2 hr to get 2 drinks, I am not an impatient person, however when their are only 4 customer including us in the place. I do think 30 mins for 2 drinks is lot as we were served before the other 2 guests. We paid cash for the order and was told the change would be given in a couple of minutes, whereas we had to remind them of the change while we were exiting the place. When we asked for bill as well as went through the Bill, we realised that the name of the drink is different to what we ordered. After checking with the person on counter, we were told, they didnt had the raw material so they combined 2 different things for similar taste. We even saw the other individuals return the drink they had ordered, without even drinking it. I am unsure how it is being run. But it was a disappointment and does make me think to keep away from CCD forever. Pricey and Worst service ever in any Cafe.
Gautam Y — Google review
They didn’t produce us a bill. After we asked for the bill, they had show in their computer that too with added extra items which we didn’t ordered. I genuinely ask everyone to please ask for the bill when you order in any CCD of this world. .FAKE CCD ALL AROUND.
Harsha D — Google review
This CCD is present inside Maximus Mall in Dharamshala. It’s near the entrance (on the ground floor). I had ordered mandarin latte Mocktail, the taste was not that good and also the 70% of glass was filled with ice cubes. You can have coffee variants over here but not the Mocktails.
UTPAL C — Google review
The sizes are so small and prices are very high. The young man working at the counter took our payment then said he didn’t have change in the drawer, so expected us to just leave it? We had to tell him we want our change please? Just because you don’t “have change in the drawer” means you’re allowed to keep customers money? I see multiple reviews on here saying they also weren’t given their change. Why?
Gretch K — Google review
Quite underwhelming experience. Flickering lights, below average latte, high prices and no WiFi! The service was ok. You can't charge Starbucks prices and provide such experience. The potential is there though.

Booked the suite room at their terrace for our group outing. Beautiful view and comfort. Loved the interiors and cozy decor with quirky quotes all over the place. Amazing vibe full of youngsters, great to socialize. Thumbs up to entire staff for their hospitality. The Salvation cafe at the property has mini games to while away your time while serving lip smacking dishes. Biggest problem was in reaching the hostel. It's a real hassle to climb up and down 50-60 stairs and then again climbing inside the property. Also since it's a hostel there wasn't any room service (everything had to fetched and done on own except cleaning) , so it might be cumbersome for some people.

Spotted this one on the way back from Khajjiar on the Dalhousie Khajjiar Road(a little after DPS school if one is coming from Dalhousie). It's a cozy, little cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tables by the huge glass windows lets you enjoy the weather outside while you sip your coffee/tea. The staff is courteous. During my trip, I visited the cafe twice. One evening, I enjoyed my Hazelnut Latte by the big window and the next day I came back for brunch. Started with an Americano, followed by French Toast which tasted well but was a bit dry for my liking. Next was mushroom corn bruschetta which was delicious. Also tried the waffle which was okay. The cafe is perfect for enjoying a quiet moment or a brunch with family/friends. Also Free parking is available right across the cafe.

This is the last cafe on the Trek of Panchpula waterfall, the nearest to it. However it doesn't give the direct view of the waterfall from the chair. But overall the view is really peaceful and serene. Food is good, ginger lemon honey tea was okay. They have indoor seating space available as well, just in case it rains, it comes as a saviour (happened in my case). The tea was not hot when served, and the owner was ready to argue over it, so that's the only con.

This is awesome cafe just next to Panjpula waterfall. We didn't expect this cafe at this location but that experience is unforgettable. Location of cafe is on flowing stream and you can listen to sound of flowing water. Beautiful view, amazing vibe with music at cafe makes moments unforgettable. Food taste is good. Staff is friendly and owner Mr Rohit is cool. He shared good info of local with us. Enjoyed this place. Hukka and bonfire combination is just amazing.

Best café on way to Panchpula. Location is awesome. Great ambiance. Always have music on and exterior walls has quirky quotes. Very close to natural beauty and they have sitting arrangements beneath water which flows through waterfall and can be seen from café. Food is okay but with this view tastes fab. You can also try hooka available with different flavours. Hope the review is helpful. Have a great time 🤗

Tasty food at Shiva cafe located above bhagsunag waterfall, maclodganj. We went here late evening and it was quite dark as we were going there. But in the end the 1km Trek was worth it. They had many food option at good price rate. But most of all the ambience and vibe of the place was really peaceful. Will visit again next time for sure.
Rohit P — Google review
Everything I ate and drank was delicious apart from mushroom pasta, that's why I'm not giving 5 stars, hope I could give 4.5 or 4.7, the place is amazing, you can play music of your choice, the art pieces inside are beautiful, you can put feet in the water where small fishes eat your dead skin and water is cold. There is a small trek you have to cover, and it's right in front of water fall. Ice tea and pizzas were amazing. And cheese fries were spectacular.

Visited the cafe few months back for the first time. 🔸Place - 5/5 The place is amazing and built nicely. It has great vibe. Sitting area is quite good. Easy accessible. 🔸Food - 4/5 We have ordered quite a bunch of dishes. Some are exquisite and mouthwatering. We start with snack and then to main course. We ordered Fries, Pizza, Pasta, Fried Fish, Chilly Garlic Noodles, Soya cheese roll. In main course, Kadhai Panner, Dal Thadka, Dal Makhni, and Chicken Biryani. Preparation was so good. But I don't like the Biryani for the flavor is not upto the mark and the Soya cheese roll because I didn't get the taste of it. Resta all other dishes are great. 🔸 Service - 3/5 It was slow at that time. Rest staff is good. Suggestion - If going in large group please order prior coming, so you don't have to wait for dishes to come on table. Overall great experience 😊

2 days back I visited Down Town. I Ordered Malai Chaap and Coffee there but the taste of chaap is very bad. I complaint about the chaap to manager but they didn't replaced the chaap and after some time they give us another one for taste but the taste of that chaap is also very bad. Presentation is just awesome but taste is not satisfactory. Apart from that coffee is good ambience is also very good. I just loved the ambience. The price are also high as compared to the quantity and taste of the food.

Cheese n Olive bar in Dalhousie offers more than just a dining experience; it's a treat for the senses. The star of their menu, the Hakuna Matata pizza, is a culinary masterpiece wood-fired to perfection. Visitors praise the hospitable staff and delightful ambiance with sunlit views of the hills. The restaurant is highly recommended for any occasion, whether it's a dinner date, family gathering, or hanging out with friends.
Excellent place for Pizza and pastas. Beautiful decor, very pleasing interiors, welcoming staff and excellent pizzas. We tried Margrita and Love triangle ( with a mod as they didnt have spinach, which they replaced with bell peppers. A worthy angle in the love triangle. The infused olive oil was a nice touch to add to the Pizza ( have not seen it often in Indian Pizzerias. Pasta alfredo was good. Although Im not a fan of alfredo sauce however the dish was tasty and my family loved it. The servers were prompt and well behaved And the wood fire Oven really made a diffference. PS They made Pizza from scratch and that adds freshness and taste.
Nikhil D — Google review
I visited Cheese and Olive Bar, and while the location was premium and had a great aesthetic, the food was a huge letdown. I spent ₹450 on a chicken burger and ₹250 on a cold coffee, which is fine for a tourist spot, but the taste was nowhere near worth it. The burger was disappointing, and overall, the food quality just didn’t match the price. I didn’t try everything on the menu, so I can’t speak for all the dishes, but based on what I had, I’d rather go to KFC any day. If you’re visiting for the view and ambiance, it’s great, but if food is your priority, you might want to look elsewhere.
