In a short note, not upto the mark in terms of knowledge of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, their were knowledge regarding military more than Punjab's history which I had specially went for and felt dissappointed. No Maintenance No Guidance No Security No Interactive Things Faux Artifacts Wooden Cloned Ammunition Lastly, Loved the greenery.

Awesome place to visit if you have interest to explore the historical wars and the armed forces. The museum gives you the vast knowledge of battles and the armed forces of that time . The weapons are well illustrated inside the museum . You will also enjoy the greenery and the site of the army tank and their aircrafts Overall a nice place.

Nehru Rose Garden in Ludhiana is a blooming paradise! Immaculately landscaped, it hosts a breathtaking array of roses. The vibrant colors and fragrant blooms make it an idyllic spot for nature lovers and morning walkers. Still lots of things are missing like mini zoo and once there was boating facility available. Needs lot of improvement. You can just hope?

This is a very beautiful park. There are many large trees here, providing plenty of shade. The park is quite big and also very scenic. Live music concerts are often held here. It's a great place to stay connected with nature and to exercise.

One of the most prominent place in this location.. Full of greenery,flowers, majestic view... Really nice park in the heart of the city. It's huge and it has many different types of trees and flowers. It was busy in the morning with people from all ages jogging, doing Yoga for a healthy life. It was nice to see how people parked their vehicles properly and not chaotic which I saw in some other big cities.

The garden is maintained very well. There are huge patches of green lawns and trees are planted with aesthetics in mind. The garden offers amusement for childrens too as there is special arrangements for them to play. Water sculpture is also nice point to visit (not sure of its working time.. may be in evening). Overall a splendid place spend some quality time with family and friends.

lost glory of Ludhiana, about which the young generations don’t even know due to its deteriorating condition. It is worth mentioning that Lodhi Fort is one of the forts in the vicinity of Ludhiana in Punjab. It is situated near Daresi ground in old city of Manchester of India, Ludhiana. This Fort has lost its glory among masses.  Locally known as Purana Qila or Old Fort, it is a grand structure which now lies in ruins due to the poor maintenance. The fort stands on a large piece of land now encroached from all sides and has turned in to a garbage dump. Now the place is known for dating of couples, lying of drug addicts and dying factories running inside certain part of the fort. Congress grass is spread all over the Lodhi fort.

There is nothing much to see. The road to the fort was a bit complicated. And a person warned me that this place is now used by drug addicts to get high, so be careful around that area. It has become purana khandar rather than purana qila.

The condition in very bad. One on care taker there. Govt of Punjab, govt of India doing nothing getting donation from Lodhi family every year but it’s nothing there to see. Bit dangerous as well.

It's unfortunate to hear that Lodhi Fort in Ludhiana has deteriorated to such an extent and lost its historical significance. It's a public park, located near the stadium. The entry to the park is free for the public, though parking of the vehicle next to the park is paid and limited. Best time to visit is during day in winters and evenings in summers. General cleanliness of the park is good. It's a good place to bring kids as the park holds good amount of playbees for them (on a payment though) . Best amongst them is the rent a bicycle, where one can hire a bike for self and the kids too and ride it on the bike track inside the park. There is a place which houses the eats, reasonably priced (vegetarian only). Hygiene along with taste including variety would be rated at 7/10.

The zoo was a decent experience overall, but it left a bit to be desired. The variety of animals was good, and it was great to see some species you don’t come across often. The only best part of the entire zoo is that you get to see a Tiger so close roaming freely in the jungle. You are taken in the safari in a bus. Fully safe. You will get a very good experience. Other than that no other interesting animals are kept. Fees is also very minimal. Tiger safari fees is 50 Rs. Per Head.

Hardys world is one of the oldest and well maintained water park in the region. Lots of dry and water rides, eating options and secure environment is what sets it apart from other water parks. Spacious changing rooms with Lockers, bathrooms and toilets are available most of the time. Staff is very helpful and humble. Easy to reach as its on the main Highway! Had super fun here!!

Museum of Social History of Punjab PAU houses unique Museum of Social History of Punjab, which mirrors university's involvement with state's folklore and culture as much as it reflects the village life. The museum; displays old agricultural implements and tools, junkets used to decorate draught animals; is a repository of cultural ethos and traditions, shows off kitchenware, Persian well, free-time vocations that engage the women; depicts typical 'real-life'situations in rural Punjab and what have you.

Must visit place if you go to Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana. Take your family with you to this beautiful museum. They have a lot of architects from the past to show history of Punjabi culture. I was impressed with the numerous items they have been able to collect and showcase there. The price to enter is super cheap (which I think should be increased so they can use that money to make it even better)

The Museum of Rural Life, situated in the Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) campus in the city of Ludhiana, is one of the must visit places for any tourist of Punjab. This museum exhibits the best of the essence of Punjabi culture.

This museum is located inside the Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana compound. It has a wide range of kitchen utensils, pulkari, earthen pots, agricultural equipments, photographs etc. used before 1962. Our young people especially children must see this museum to know how our glorious past was.

After travelling to some of the biggest and most popular Gurudwaras in India, I can say that this Gurdwara in Ludhiana will easily come in the Top 3 Rank. I was mesmerized, captivated, fascinated and filled with devotion as soon as I stepped inside the huge complex of this Gurdwara. This place of worship is surprisingly well organised and flawlessly managed by humble volunteers. In the shoe deposit counter you will find many such volunteers polishing shoes of devotees, with utmost respect. Water is served to everyone and langar service is available. I visited there in the evening (Tegh Bahadur Jayanti) and I was astounded by the lighting and decoration of this Gurdwara. Inside the main prayer hall you will find Sikh Gurus offering prayers and singing devotional songs. There is also a separate room where you will find people reading holy scriptures in silence. There is a donation counter where you can donate any amount starting from ₹11. Prasad (Halwa) is available near the exit gate. Irrespective of your religious beliefs, it's highly advisable to visit this Gurdwara at least once.😇🙏🏻

I always feel refreshed and blessed after visiting here. A must-visit if you are in Ludhiana — it really lives up to its name, “Dukh Nivaran.”

The main complex of the gurudwara is huge and flawlessly managed. Fresh water and langar is available all the time. You can visit here with your friends and family to take blessings. We have been coming here since my childhood. It has literally evolved into a shrine, a sanctuary for both physical nourishment and spiritual nurturing. Langar (free vegetarian meal) is available at all times, for everyone. Kirtan (musical singing of devotional hymns) from the writings of Sikh Gurus, Hindu and Muslim saints and Sikhs, is also playing. Ample parking is available for vehicles.

Clock tower of Ludhiana: You could definitely explore the adjacent areas for some interesting street-side shopping. With a keen eye, you might find some trendy t-shirts in the ₹100 to ₹250 range. If they enjoy a bit of friendly negotiation (though maybe not pushing too hard!), you could try for a small discount if buying a few items from the same vendor. While the clock tower itself might be more of a historical marker, built by the British to commemorate Queen Victoria's some jubilee, it holds significance for the city's residents. Historical British iconic monument - "Victoria memorial clock tower" (locally known as ghanta ghar) of Ludhiana, Punjab. Erected in 1906 by the British government. This is just adjacent to the Ludhiana Railway station road and Dugri main market. Bus, Auto, Toto, Taxi and trains are available here. This can be viewed from. Outside only. Previously in the British era, it was erected to show the time from long distance. It was also used as a landmark monument near GT Road. Previously manually hand wound watch was used by the West and watch company of Britain. However now it is changed to digital controlled battery watch. In the evening and night, light decorations are great to see.

Ludhiana Clock Tower is a noteworthy tourist attraction of the city. It's situated close to the railway station. This is a beautiful red tower standing tall in the midst of a chaotic market area. During my visit I found this place to be devoid of any tourists, because we the only people clicking photos out there. There is a Punjab Tourism office on the ground floor of the clock tower, but when we tried to enter we found the door to be closed from inside. Recommended to visit this historic "Tower of Time".⏳

Historic tower.... now illuminated with multicolor lights which attract passer bye . Once upon a time it was the city centre and a great landmark . People living around it was proud residents . Now the whole are is converted to commercial buildings so at night it is avoided to stay near it. All four clocks were working at that time .

This stadium has huge space but need maintenance because all the sitting arrangement scattered here and there. Some functions are hosting there nowadays. Last I had visited this place at attend 15 August 2021 celebration. Enjoyed event as festivals but I found such a lots of dirty smell there. Other then that all things are goods.

Guru Nanak Stadium is a football and Track Events Stadium. It has seating capacity of 15,000 spectators. There is a provision of 8 lane synthetic track with a two lane warming up track. The track conforms to international standards for conduct of any national or international meet. Need some improvements in public utilities.

This Mall is just beautiful. Owned by Canadian Company Brookfield Corporation , the ownership has done a great job and it shows . The mall is very well maintained and very beautiful 😍❤️ from inside. The legendry mall of Ludhiana is looking dull now, kfc and mcd have kept it alive, at one point of time this was the favorite place of Ludhianvis, Apple service center is located in the basement of the mall.

Visited Khushiram and sons after 2 years .. found the same taste and addition of variety in food and beverages options... along with the vast gifting sections of sweets, namkeens and bakery items... one of the oldest places... do visit for good quality snacks and food options.

The Punjab Agricultural University Museum is one of the landmarks in Ludhiana which is visited by many people all year long and is on the outskirts of the city. This museum lies in the premises of the Punjab Agricultural University. This Rural Museum was inaugurated at the hands of S Khushwant Singh in the year 1974 on 26th April. The rural life of the people is very well displayed at this museum and the Punjabi culture is very evident at its best.

Closed on weekend and today on Monday, apparently public holiday today. But says open on Google and the website. Looked very small too. Disappointed as we were in Ludhiana for 3 days and couldn't visit any day.

Also, you can find out ancient items over there and many more old things that represent Punjab. The layout of the building is unique and amazing. It looks like a fort. Must visit and take your kids to show them old Punjab.

Get everything you want . This mall have almost 5 floors. Good security system and check up. Very good ambience and space on entrance with lots of kids activities. All major brands showrooms are available in this mall. It is located 2-3 km approximately outside the main busy areas. Have lots of parking space. Overall very good 👍.

Overall, Wave Mall delivers on its promise—a practical, enjoyable, and relatively stress-free space for shopping, eating, and watching a movie. It may not be a luxury mall, but for a city like Ludhiana, it ticks all the important boxes and does so with consistency.

Ludhiana is one of the biggest rail junction. A new building is still under Construction. In April 2025, it was not clean and very crowded.

As of July 2025, this station is under construction. It gets very crowded, and cleanliness is not well-maintained at the moment. However, it's still a major hub with trains available to many destinations, so it's convenient for travel despite the current condition.

The improvements are impressive. The platforms are cleaner than before, and there are signs of modern facilities coming up-escalators, new waiting halls, better lighting, and updated signage. There were hardly any animals there😭 The geese had everyone's attention. Wanted to go for a tiger safari too but the ticket counter was under construction. 30rs entry good. The trees out there feel so good. If you want to go and sit and have conversation, i guess this is the most affordable one haha...it really did feel good

Here tiger safari is kind of scam. They made tiger cage exclusive and you will roam around the cage to see him. They just have 1 tiger only. And all tiger safari completes within 15 min that includes seeing tiger in his area or cage, and sight seeing in area of peacocks. Zoo doesn't have food court and proper directions of all cages. Pavement is really a good.

I will give this zoo 3.5 star. If you are going to Maharaja Ranjit Singh war meuseum then you can visit here otherwise it's not worth it to specially visit here. There are some animals (leapord,jackal,ducks,dear, porcupine etc. ) here. The ticket price is Rs. 30 (june 2024 )for person above 13 years.
