Military Museums
The Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum, established in 1999 by the Punjab Government, is a tribute to the soldiers who fought in historic battles. Located on the GT road in Ludhiana and spanning four acres, it houses a collection of weapons, armor, and uniforms. The museum aims to honor the soldiers' contributions to defense and features a striking statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh at its entrance.

A decent place to learn about military history. It has displays of weapons, war artifacts, and models of tanks and aircraft. The place is not crowded, and the experience is good overall.
Wahid F — Google review
₹40 ticket, showcased war history with help of tasks, guns, Talwar etc along with this also explained navy, army, IAF designations with uniforms and medals. Should visit once.
MECHYOGI — Google review
The Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Memorial in Ludhiana is a profound tribute to the valor of Punjabi soldiers. Inaugurated in 1999, the four-acre complex was built by the Punjab Government to honor the brave men who sacrificed their lives in various wars, from ancient times to the Kargil conflict. The memorial's design, resembling a military fortress, immediately sets a solemn and respectful tone. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a majestic statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on his throne, symbolizing the rich history and martial legacy of the region. Known as the "Lion of Punjab," Maharaja Ranjit Singh was a visionary leader who founded the Sikh Empire in the early 19th century. He was a master strategist, uniting warring misls (confederacies) and creating a formidable army that successfully repelled invasions and expanded his territory. His rule marked a golden age of stability and modernization in Punjab, a testament to his military prowess and inclusive governance. The museum itself is divided into 12 galleries, each dedicated to different aspects of military history. These include the Ancient History Gallery, the War Heroes Gallery, and specific galleries for the Air Force and Navy. Inside, you can see a variety of exhibits, from weapons and uniforms to portraits of distinguished soldiers who have received prestigious awards like the Param Vir Chakra. Outside, the sprawling lawns serve as an open-air display for battle tanks, an anti-aircraft gun, and even an old Sukhoi fighter aircraft. The most compelling feature for many is the light and sound show, which vividly narrates the story of India's freedom struggle and the pivotal role of Punjabi soldiers. Beyond its role as a museum, the memorial functions as an educational hub, instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride. It's not just a collection of artifacts, but a living memorial that honors the past while inspiring future generations. Whether you are a history enthusiast or simply looking for a meaningful place to visit, the Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Memorial offers a powerful and moving experience.

Nehru Rose Garden in Ludhiana is a blooming paradise! Immaculately landscaped, it hosts a breathtaking array of roses. The vibrant colors and fragrant blooms make it an idyllic spot for nature lovers and morning walkers. Still lots of things are missing like mini zoo and once there was boating facility available. Needs lot of improvement. You can just hope?

One of the most prominent place in this location.. Full of greenery, flowers, majestic view... Really nice park in the heart of the city. It's huge and it has many different types of trees and flowers. It was busy in the morning with people from all ages jogging, doing Yoga for a healthy life. It was nice to see how people parked their vehicles properly and not chaotic which I saw in some other big cities.

The garden is maintained very well. There are huge patches of green lawns and trees are planted with aesthetics in mind. The garden offers amusement for childrens too as there is special arrangements for them to play. Water sculpture is also nice point to visit (not sure of its working time.. may be in evening). Overall a splendid place spend some quality time with family and friends.

Historical place
Lodhi Fort, also known as Purana Qila, is a historic fortress in Ludhiana dating back to the 15th century. Built by the Muslim monarch Sikandar Lodhi, it once showcased his military power and grandeur. Despite its current state of disrepair, the fort still retains its allure and draws tourists who wish to explore its ancient lanes.
History: Built over 500 years ago during the reign of Sikander Lodhi of the Lodhi Dynasty in the late 15th century, it served as a military stronghold. It was maintained under Maharaja Ranjit Singh and the British but has since fallen into ruin. The fort is linked to Ludhiana’s name, derived from “Lodhi-ana” (town of Lodhis), when the area was developed from a village called Mir Hota.
Dee K — Google review
Nice historical place. But as per local review this is not safe much. Can be visited in a group yet but the route is very confusing. Better to ask local people for this, as I will advise
Ritam G — Google review
lost glory of Ludhiana, about which the young generations don’t even know due to its deteriorating condition. It is worth mentioning that Lodhi Fort is one of the forts in the vicinity of Ludhiana in Punjab. It is situated near Daresi ground in old city of Manchester of India, Ludhiana. This Fort has lost its glory among masses. Locally known as Purana Qila or Old Fort, it is a grand structure which now lies in ruins due to the poor maintenance. The fort stands on a large piece of land now encroached from all sides and has turned in to a garbage dump. Now the place is known for dating of couples, lying of drug addicts and dying factories running inside certain part of the fort. Congress grass is spread all over the Lodhi fort.
Compiler C — Google review
There is nothing much to see. The road to the fort was a bit complicated. And a person warned me that this place is now used by drug addicts to get high, so be careful around that area. It has become purana khandar rather than purana qila.
Pushan P — Google review
The condition in very bad. One on care taker there. Govt of Punjab, govt of India doing nothing getting donation from Lodhi family every year but it’s nothing there to see. Bit dangerous as well.
Gurmeet S — Google review
Very Nice fort in heart of Ludhiana City. No care of this historical place. Unauthorized persons has occupied surrounding of this fort.
Manoj K — Google review
This is very old and rare
Danish ( — Google review
It's unfortunate to hear that Lodhi Fort in Ludhiana has deteriorated to such an extent and lost its historical significance. Neglect and poor maintenance can indeed lead to the degradation of important cultural heritage sites. Efforts to preserve and restore such historical landmarks are crucial to ensure that future generations can appreciate and learn from their history. If there are any local initiatives or organizations working towards the restoration of Lodhi Fort, it would be a positive step to support their efforts in reviving the fort's glory.

Grass lounge, sitting bench available. Toy train, amusement park rides also available. Well maintained park. Main focus areas are, toy train, bicycle on rent. Good place for hangout with friends and family. Veg food court available. Washroom available. Good place for photography and selfie lover. Parking area available on chargeable basis. Good place for young kids.

It's a public park, located near the stadium. The entry to the park is free for the public, though parking of the vehicle next to the park is paid and limited. Best time to visit is during day in winters and evenings in summers. General cleanliness of the park is good. It's a good place to bring kids as the park holds good amount of playbees for them (on a payment though) . Best amongst them is the rent a bicycle, where one can hire a bike for self and the kids too and ride it on the bike track inside the park. There is a place which houses the eats, reasonably priced (vegetarian only). Hygiene along with taste including variety would be rated at 7/10.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Ludhiana Zoo Tiger Safari, established in 1993 and sprawling over 25 acres, is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts. The park boasts a variety of flora and fauna, including black buck, Sambhar, rabbits, peacocks, bears, emus, porcupines, deer and ducks. Visitors can opt for an exciting safari to witness majestic tigers roaming freely in the protected jungle areas.
Good & Clean Zoo, but very less animal. They don't have black bear in cage & cages also broken.. Tiger safari not working. They charge parking fee, but no person looking vehicle & ticket when u going. I surprise to see toilets very clean.
Jassimran S — Google review
The zoo was a decent experience overall, but it left a bit to be desired. The variety of animals was good, and it was great to see some species you don’t come across often. Some enclosures were spacious and well-designed, showing clear effort in animal care, while others felt a bit cramped or outdated. The layout of the zoo was a little confusing at times, with signs that weren’t always easy to follow, and it took a while to find some of the exhibits. Food options were limited and overpriced, which was disappointing, especially after walking around for hours. That said, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and there were a few interactive areas for kids that made the visit more engaging. It’s a nice place for a family outing, but with some improvements to the facilities and better upkeep, it could be much better.
Harry — Google review
The Ludhiana Tiger Safari, a popular attraction and a part of the larger Ludhiana Zoo, offers a unique opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts and families to get a glimpse of animals in a naturalistic setting. Established in 1993, this safari-cum-zoo was initially created with the vision of developing a pool of genetically pure Royal Bengal tigers and has since expanded to include a variety of other species. While the main draw is the tiger safari itself, where visitors can ride a bus through a forested area hoping to spot a tiger, the overall experience seems to be a mixed bag according to public reviews. Many visitors find the thrill of seeing a tiger up close to be the highlight of their trip, and the nominal entry fee makes it an accessible outing. The zoo also houses a variety of other animals, including leopards, bears, sambar deer, blackbucks, peacocks, and various birds, adding to the diversity of the park. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment. A key point of contention is the "safari" experience, which some describe as a brief, 5-15 minute bus ride around a caged tiger, rather than a wide-ranging safari. It's important to note that the zoo has faced challenges with its tiger population, and as of early 2024, it was reported to have a new tiger named Aman after the death of its previous lone tiger, Nav. Additionally, some reviews mention limited amenities, such as a lack of proper washrooms and drinking water facilities, as well as a limited and overpriced food court. The signage can also be confusing for first-time visitors. Despite these critiques, the park is praised for its role in wildlife conservation and for providing an educational platform, particularly for school groups. The best time to visit is during the cooler months, from October to March, when the weather is more pleasant for walking and the animals are more active. Overall, the Ludhiana Tiger Safari is a good option for a quick family outing, especially for the chance to see a tiger up close, but it may not live up to the expectations of a full-fledged wildlife safari.
Amritpal S — Google review
The only best part of the entire zoo is that you get to see a Tiger so close roaming freely in the jungle. You are taken in the safari in a bus. Fully safe. You will get a very good experience. Other than that no other interesting animals are kept. Fees is also very minimal. Tiger safari fees is 50 Rs. Per Head.
Aakash U — Google review
Tiger Safari Zoo provides a refreshing community escape, allowing locals and visitors alike to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the animal kingdom.
City D — Google review
In addition to the animal exhibits, the zoo also offers a variety of educational programs and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. Whether you're interested in learning more about a particular species or want to get up close and personal with some of the animals, there's something for everyone here. Overall, if you're looking for a fun and educational day out that also supports a worthy cause, the zoo is definitely worth a visit.
Shivam S — Google review
Had an amazing experience over here.... A small visit there will be good... And if you are a nature lover then please do visit once.. it will be a life time experience to see a tiger roaming around without any cage.. Ofcourse you will be on your safari ride.. so don't worry you will be safe.. but it's worth the money.... Ticket price is 30 rupees per head and safari fees is 50 Rupees per head... Below 3yrs child no charge.. hope this will help.. 😊

Hardy’s World is a delightful escape for anyone looking to beat the heat or simply have a day filled with fun and adventure. Nestled on the outskirts of Ludhiana, this water and amusement park offers a lively mix of attractions that cater to both thrill-seekers and families with young kids. The water park section is a refreshing highlight, with wave pools, splash zones, and twisting water slides that offer just the right amount of adrenaline without being overwhelming. It’s especially enjoyable during the scorching summer months when the cool water and vibrant energy make it feel like a mini vacation. On the amusement side, the rides range from classic favorites like the roller coaster and giant wheel to more kid-friendly options that keep the little ones engaged. The park’s atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed, with decent food options scattered throughout—think chaat, ice cream, and quick bites that keep you fueled for the day. While it may not match the scale or polish of international parks, there’s a certain charm in its local flavor, friendly staff, and affordable pricing that makes it accessible for most. Cleanliness and maintenance could use a bit more consistency, but the overall experience still feels worthwhile. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or just want a break from the everyday grind, Hardy’s World provides a satisfying dose of joy, laughter, and splashy memories that stick with you long after you’ve dried off. It’s not perfect, but it sure knows how to show you a good time.

Museum of Social History of Punjab PAU houses unique Museum of Social History of Punjab, which mirrors university's involvement with state's folklore and culture as much as it reflects the village life. The museum; displays old agricultural implements and tools, junkets used to decorate draught animals; is a repository of cultural ethos and traditions, shows off kitchenware, Persian well, free-time vocations that engage the women; depicts typical 'real-life'situations in rural Punjab and what have you.

Must visit place if you go to Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana. Take your family with you to this beautiful museum. They have a lot of architects from the past to show history of Punjabi culture. I was impressed with the numerous items they have been able to collect and showcase there. The price to enter is super cheap (which I think should be increased so they can use that money to make it even better)

Charan Kamal (Tibba Road Ludhiana) Gurudwara is a significant Sikh shrine that holds historical and spiritual importance. It marks the location where Guru Gobind Singh rested after enduring hardships, and it features stunning Sikh architecture. The annual fair in December celebrates the congregation of this holy place. Visitors describe it as a calm, spiritual place where one can easily connect with the divine and find inner peace.
This holy place is sanctified by the visit of Guru Gobind Singh. After the battle of Chamkaur Sahib, enduring hardships, he pushed his way through the thick jungles infested with thorny bushes. After an arduous journey, he lay down on the bare stony ground for rest in the garden of Masand Gulab Rai. Here his pathan devotees Ghani Khan and Nabi Khan recognised him and provided all facilities to the great Guru. From here Guru was taken in a Palki (Palanquin) disguised as 'Uch Ka Pir'. For this purpose the Guru put on a blue dress and so did his disciples accompanying him. The plan they adopted, proved a total success. Only once Mughal army intercepted the procession of the Guru but answer of Nabi Khan and Ghani Khan was so convincing that no suspicion was raised by the Mughal soldiers Thus Gurdwara Machhiwara has became a place of pilgrimage. upto this day people remember the two Pathan brothers Nabi Khan and Ghani Khan with great respect as they risked their lives in serving the Tenth Master. Gurdwara Charan Kanwal, Machhiwara, Dist. Ludhiana After agreeing to leave Chamkaur as commanded by his Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh escaped into the night and the jungle surrounded by the enemy troops. In the dark the Guru was separated from his three Sikh and left alone in the dense jungle. Guru Gobind Singh trudged through the jungle day and night, his clothes tattered and his feet blistered. Eventually the Guru reached the outskirts of Machiwara town and lay down to sleep in a garden in some bushes on the ground with a stone as his pillow. Here he was found by the three remaining Sikhs Daram Singh, Daya Singh and Man Singh. This gurdwara marks that spot where Guru Gobind Singh was found sleeping. Guru Gobind Singh drank water from the well that appears in the foreground. Gurdwara Chubara Sahib, Machhiwara, Dist. Ludhiana A Sikh named Gulaba Singh lived in the town of Machhiwara and provided Guru Gobind Singh and his three Sikhs refuge in his house at this spot while the enemy where prowling the countryside looking for the Guru with orders to capture or kill him.

After travelling to some of the biggest and most popular Gurudwaras in India, I can say that this Gurdwara in Ludhiana will easily come in the Top 3 Rank. I was mesmerized, captivated, fascinated and filled with devotion as soon as I stepped inside the huge complex of this Gurdwara. This place of worship is surprisingly well organised and flawlessly managed by humble volunteers. In the shoe deposit counter you will find many such volunteers polishing shoes of devotees, with utmost respect. Water is served to everyone and langar service is available. I visited there in the evening (Tegh Bahadur Jayanti) and I was astounded by the lighting and decoration of this Gurdwara. Inside the main prayer hall you will find Sikh Gurus offering prayers and singing devotional songs. There is also a separate room where you will find people reading holy scriptures in silence. There is a donation counter where you can donate any amount starting from ₹11. Prasad (Halwa) is available near the exit gate. Irrespective of your religious beliefs, it's highly advisable to visit this Gurdwara at least once.😇🙏🏻

One of the most peaceful and divine places in Ludhiana. The moment you enter Dukh Nivaran Sahib, you truly feel a sense of calm and positivity. The atmosphere is so serene, and the kirtan fills your heart with peace. The place is very well maintained, and the sevadars are always kind and humble. I always feel refreshed and blessed after visiting here. A must-visit if you are in Ludhiana — it really lives up to its name, “Dukh Nivaran.”

This is one of the oldest and most famous Gurudwara Sahib in Ludhiana. It is located near the railway station and is one of the busiest places in the city. The main complex of the gurudwara is huge and flawlessly managed. Fresh water and langar is available all the time. You can visit here with your friends and family to take blessings. This is a must visit place in Ludhiana. My rating - 5 stars.

About Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib – Ludhiana, Punjab Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib, located on NH 1, Field Ganj, near Jagraon Bridge, Islam Ganj, Ludhiana, Punjab 141008, is one of the most revered Sikh shrines in Punjab. It holds deep spiritual and historical significance for devotees from all over India and abroad. The name “Dukh Niwaran” translates to “eradicator of suffering,” and the Gurudwara is widely believed to be a place where people’s sorrows and ailments are relieved through prayer and faith. The history of the Gurudwara dates back to the visit of Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji, the eighth Sikh Guru, to this place. According to Sikh tradition, during his visit, Guru Sahib blessed the local people who were suffering from a severe epidemic, healing them through his divine presence and the power of the holy water at the site. Since then, the sacred sarovar (holy pond) at the Gurudwara has been regarded as spiritually purifying, and devotees take a dip in it with the belief that it cures diseases and brings peace. Architecturally, Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is a stunning blend of traditional Sikh design and modern construction. The main prayer hall is spacious, adorned with marble flooring, intricate carvings, and a serene atmosphere that encourages meditation and reflection. The kirtan (devotional singing) performed here is deeply moving and draws visitors into a state of devotion and inner calm. The Gurudwara complex includes a large langar hall where free meals are served to all visitors, regardless of caste, creed, or background, upholding the Sikh tradition of selfless service (seva) and equality. Facilities for pilgrims include resting areas, clean washrooms, and ample parking space. Easily accessible from major parts of Ludhiana, Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is not only a spiritual destination but also a place of historical importance, community service, and inner healing. A visit here leaves devotees with a deep sense of peace, gratitude, and spiritual fulfillment.
Sangatpura B — Google review
We have been coming here since my childhood. It has literally evolved into a shrine, a sanctuary for both physical nourishment and spiritual nurturing. Langar (free vegetarian meal) is available at all times, for everyone. Kirtan (musical singing of devotional hymns) from the writings of Sikh Gurus, Hindu and Muslim saints and Sikhs, is also playing. Ample parking is available for vehicles.

The Clock Tower of Ludhiana, also known as Ghanta Ghar, is a significant landmark in the vibrant city of Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Built in the 1900s in a European Gothic Revival style, this red-brick structure stands as a symbol of freedom and independence. It commemorates the martyrs who fought for justice during World War I and represents the rich history and culture of Ludhiana.
It’s very old clock towers off 1900 it’s very well maintain and looks very good and one off the iconic mark off Ludhiana near railway station just waking distance definitely visit able

Clock tower of Ludhiana: You could definitely explore the adjacent areas for some interesting street-side shopping. With a keen eye, you might find some trendy t-shirts in the ₹100 to ₹250 range. If they enjoy a bit of friendly negotiation (though maybe not pushing too hard!), you could try for a small discount if buying a few items from the same vendor. While the clock tower itself might be more of a historical marker, built by the British to commemorate Queen Victoria's some jubilee, it holds significance for the city's residents. For visitors, it could serve as a central point for navigating Ludhiana or as a landmark to orient themselves. Depending on your interests and available time, you might also find a variety of other goods in the vicinity, such as speakers, practical items like green plastic netting, jeans, and various accessories. It seems like a bustling area with a lot to offer those willing to explore. I got my hair done in another alley, the food was good near the station... And things will get better in a few years as the railway station is getting a makeover.... Love and regards to all future readers. If you're from Punjab, Don't forget to show some love.

Historical British iconic monument - "Victoria memorial clock tower" (locally known as ghanta ghar) of Ludhiana, Punjab. Erected in 1906 by the British government. This is just adjacent to the Ludhiana Railway station road and Dugri main market. Bus, Auto, Toto, Taxi and trains are available here. This can be viewed from. Outside only. Previously in the British era, it was erected to show the time from long distance. It was also used as a landmark monument near GT Road. Previously manually hand wound watch was used by the West and watch company of Britain. However now it is changed to digital controlled battery watch. In the evening and night, light decorations are great to see.

Ludhiana Clock Tower is a noteworthy tourist attraction of the city. It's situated close to the railway station. This is a beautiful red tower standing tall in the midst of a chaotic market area. During my visit I found this place to be devoid of any tourists, because we the only people clicking photos out there. There is a Punjab Tourism office on the ground floor of the clock tower, but when we tried to enter we found the door to be closed from inside. Recommended to visit this historic "Tower of Time".⏳

PAU Museum, located within the Punjab Agriculture University Campus, offers a captivating glimpse into the rural life and culture of Punjab. Inaugurated in 1974, this museum showcases a wide array of artifacts including household equipment, pottery, coins, musical instruments, traditional attire and jewelry. Visitors can also explore Punjabi juttis (shoes) and handicrafts on display.
One must visit this beautiful place in the university. They have preserved so many historical artifacts that you won't find elsewhere. Take your family with you and visit this place to see the Punjabi culture. The fee at the gate is really low which I think should be increased so they can use that money to bring more things or to make this place even better. The architecture of the building is amazing.

The Punjab Agricultural University Museum is one of the landmarks in Ludhiana which is visited by many people all year long and is on the outskirts of the city. This museum lies in the premises of the Punjab Agricultural University. This Rural Museum was inaugurated at the hands of S Khushwant Singh in the year 1974 on 26th April. The rural life of the people is very well displayed at this museum and the Punjabi culture is very evident at its best.

Wave Mall in Ludhiana, also called Westend Mall, is one of the few places in the city where you can comfortably spend half a day without feeling rushed or bored. It's located on Ferozepur Road near the Hyatt, making it accessible from most parts of the city, and the parking facilities are surprisingly efficient even on weekends. The retail experience is diverse—everything from Westside and Zudio to Nike, US Polo, and Raymond. There's a balance of affordable and premium options, and the stores are arranged logically across the levels, so you don’t have to backtrack endlessly. The food options are standard but reliable. You’ll find KFC, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut, but also local ice cream vendors, fresh juice kiosks, and a few casual dining places like Castle BBQ and Vaango. It's not culinary heaven, but it gets the job done without compromising hygiene or service. Seating in the food court is generally fine, though during peak evening hours it can feel crowded. Wave Cinemas is the standout feature. I watched a late-night show of a Hindi film, and the picture and sound quality were better than expected. The booking process was smooth, the staff was attentive, and there weren’t any annoying delays or technical glitches. They screen a good mix of regional and international films, which is rare in this part of Punjab. The mall is clean, well-lit thanks to the polycarbonate roof design, and generally has a modern vibe without trying too hard to be upscale. Security is visible but not intrusive, and escalators and lifts work consistently. The only issue was that the top level felt slightly warmer, possibly due to uneven air conditioning. Overall, Wave Mall delivers on its promise—a practical, enjoyable, and relatively stress-free space for shopping, eating, and watching a movie. It may not be a luxury mall, but for a city like Ludhiana, it ticks all the important boxes and does so with consistency.

To, The Station Master / Divisional Railway Manager, Ludhiana Junction Railway Station. Subject: Complaint regarding corruption and misuse of power by staff/police at Ludhiana Railway Station Respected Sir/Madam, I, Sandeep Kumar, would like to bring to your attention an incident that took place at Ludhiana Junction Railway Station on 19 October 2025. Some police officers or staff members were seen taking money from passengers under the pretext of checking or issuing platform tickets. However, they did not provide the tickets and threatened passengers who questioned them. This act of corruption mainly targets poor passengers and causes them mental and financial distress. Such behaviour damages the image of the Indian Railways and makes passengers lose trust in the system. I kindly request you to investigate this matter seriously and take strict action against those involved. Proper supervision should be ensured so that such incidents do not happen again in the future. Thank you for your attention. Yours faithfully, Sandeep Kumar Date: 19/10/2025 Place: Ludhiana

Shri Govind Godham Ludhiana, also known as Gurudwara Shri Manji Sahib, is a significant Sikh religious shrine located in Alamgir village. It holds historical importance as it commemorates the tenth Sikh guru, Guru Govind Singh. The guru's act of shooting an arrow into the ground and creating a spring of water (Tirsar) is remembered here.
Beautiful temple inside out. For visitors/non locals, you should know this temple has a big area filled with grass and some sitting benches, which is great for self reflecting and peace time. Just on the right side of the temple there's "gau shala" which takes care of more than 500 cows. There's also Ram Vatika, Ganesh murti and Hanuman ji temple. But the road that leads to the temple is poor and kind of far away from the main road. But overall a great place to self reflect and devote yourself to the supreme.

I recently visited Goving Godham in Ludhiana and it was a truly peaceful and heartwarming experience. The atmosphere is serene, and you can really feel the positive energy as soon as you enter. It's so inspiring to see how well the cows are taken care of — clean surroundings, proper shelter, and lots of love from the caretakers. It’s not just a gaushala, it’s a place where compassion meets devotion. The staff was welcoming and kind, and they took the time to explain the daily routines and how everything works there. I also appreciated how the place promotes sustainability and traditional Indian values. If you're looking for a meaningful and spiritual outing, I’d highly recommend visiting Going Godham.

Jatin — Google review
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) was established in 1962 under the Punjab Agricultural University Act, with the goal of advancing agricultural education and research in the state of Punjab. The formation of PAU was a significant step in addressing the agricultural needs of the region, particularly in the wake of the Green Revolution, which sought to improve food security and agricultural productivity. Initially, PAU inherited the infrastructure and resources of the erstwhile Punjab Agricultural College and Research Institute (PACRI) in Lyallpur (now Faisalabad, Pakistan), which had been a major center for agricultural research since its founding in 1909. Following the partition of India in 1947, the Indian government decided to establish a new agricultural university in Punjab to continue and expand upon the work of PACRI. PAU quickly became a leading institution in agricultural research, contributing significantly to the development of high-yielding crop varieties, improved farming techniques, and integrated pest management. Its research efforts have played a crucial role in transforming Punjab into one of India's most agriculturally productive regions. The university also played a key role in the dissemination of agricultural knowledge through extension services, helping farmers adopt modern practices and technologies. Over the decades, PAU has expanded its academic and research programs, contributing to advancements in various fields such as biotechnology, soil science, and environmental management. Its influence extends beyond Punjab, impacting agricultural practices and policies at the national level. ::Chat.G.P.T::

Here tiger safari is kind of scam. They made tiger cage exclusive and you will roam around the cage to see him. They just have 1 tiger only. And all tiger safari completes within 15 min that includes seeing tiger in his area or cage, and sight seeing in area of peacocks. Zoo doesn't have food court and proper directions of all cages.
