Tante Sara - Café & Bar is a long-standing establishment in Ushuaia, known for its classic signature dishes that combine the best pasta with fresh seafood from the Beagle Channel. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and serves dishes throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. Their menu features standout items like crab raviolins, black sea fruit spaghetti, and a bacon-wrapped trout dish. Tante Sara is also renowned for its pastry and confectionery offerings.
Tante Sara is a fantastic spot for a delicious meal in Ushuaia! I ordered a Croque Madame, fries with bacon, and a coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was perfectly balanced, the fries were crispy and flavorful, and the coffee was just what I needed for a relaxing break. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is fast and friendly, and the central location makes it a great choice. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and experience are absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

We sat at the bar and ordered a croissant, fries to share, a margarita and a caiparinha. The bartender took 10 minutes to make the 2 drinks. He’d start, then start chatting or do something else then come back and continue. In the end, he made my caiparinha with lemons instead of lime and it was shaken. I’m so confused. It doesn’t even taste right. The croissant was stale - I suspect it has been sitting there all day or days. The fries arrived 20 minutes after we ordered it. It is 6pm on a Thursday and the bar is empty. I would not recommend this bar at all.

First meal very good and well presented chicken quesadillas. The woman at the next table had French toast it too was presented well and looked yummy. So I came back the next day for breakfast. Yep it was as good as it looked.
Noodengr3 T — Google review
Very good service. I liked their Napolitan schnitzel. We shared this dish. I had Mate cocido the herb infusion typical of Argentina. Vety good alfajores.
Roberto M — Google review
Great service, good atmosphere, food tastes good but somewhat plain. I ordered their speciality Tante Sara schnitzel and this was one of the largest single servings I ever eat. My partner ordered continental breakfast and was disappointed with taste and size of the portion.
Andrii K — Google review
We had breakfast here 3 times. Each meal we had was amazing. The take away bakery items were great to fill us through the day as well. Great coffee, space and service.
Elle H — Google review
Looking for brunch or a quick bite with some coffee? This would be a good place to go. This coffee shop's location is great. It's located on the main tourist street and easily accessible. There isn't anything special about this place, but I'd say the price is reasonable and the food wouldn't disppoint you. I'd recommend this place as a brunch or a place to grab a quick bite before starting your tour day! Tips: Downstairs may get pretty busy. If you enjoy a quiet tea time, I'd consider finding a table in the second floor.
Jong W — Google review
Stopped by for a quick lunch and it was nice. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling too well so I actually didn't eat much of my food, but I ordered a lemonade and the burrito, both of which were solid. The lemonade is insanely pulpy, like it has more pulp than anything I've ever had in my life, but I liked it. Just a warning for those who aren't a fan of pulp. The burrito was good, but again I didn't eat much of it. The bread basket was also good.

Laguna Negra offers a variety of popular treks such as Paseo de la Isla, Paseo del Mirador, and Sendero Castorera. Visitors can also enjoy complimentary hot chocolate at a local shop after a boat cruise. The chocolachino, a mix of cappuccino and bitter chocolate, is highly recommended. Additionally, the shop offers delicious chocolates and alfajores that make for great souvenirs.
This is really one of the best chocolates in Ushuaia. My friend who works in Antarctica recommends me to this wonderful place and SUBMARINO, which is a must to try. It's a hot steamed milk with chocolate which you put inside the milk to sink 😅 and their freshly made cakes are a must to try! 😋 there is a huge selection and sort of options from chocolate books, jams , and pralines to buy. It's hard to choose from as all is so delicious. Also, they are giving samples of chocolate to decide which one you like. You can also buy a nice selection of postcards. Thank you 😊
Jana M — Google review
We visited this restaurant because we received a voucher for hot chocolate during our train visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere filled with chocolate and chocolate products. You could redeem your voucher for a hot chocolate or upgrade to another drink. The chocolate itself was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. We recommend stopping by, whether you have a voucher or not!
MarosH H — Google review
The best chocolate store in Ushuaia! Great variety of chocolates. All of the ones we tried were absolutely delicious! Hot chocolate is also a delight! The place is so warm and cozy and the people so kind. A must-try in town!

That's a spectacular little place. I went there twice to take some pictures. To get good light, for pictures taking, go there in the afternoon.

Free voucher provided after the boat tour which meant getting a hot chocolate to enjoy during the cold climate. The line was quite long but worth the wait.
Sara B — Google review
I wouldn't normally stop at chocolate shops for a cup of hot chocolate. But since the boat cruise we had joined gave us a complimentary ticket, we came by and enjoyed a nice hot chocolate. It tasted so nice, as particularly it was getting windy and cold outside. The shop inside looks very attractive as well.

Café Bar Banana is a great spot for burgers and fries, sandwiches, and steak and eggs - with prices that are comparatively low compared to other restaurants on the street. With wifi and table service available, it's perfect for catching up with friends over breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I enjoyed mornings in the bar, you can grasp here a local vibe, wide offer and extraordinary service. Vegetarian options available, for vegans smoothie only but it is great. In Ushuaia service is generally very good but in this bar is beyond. Thank you 🙏🏽

Let's just say it's not pizza! 😂 The base is not cooked. It is unique I will give it that. The staff are great!! Digamos que no es pizza! 😂 La base no está cocida. Es única. El personal es genial!!

I ordered a choripan, the portion size and serving was disappointing. nr worth 13 000 pesos. Better visit food trucks in port area and get 3x size and quality for half the price.
Filip Z — Google review
Good food at a good price. Pleasant and helpful staff. We had nice empanadas. But, they arrived too cool. We asked the waiter to heat it more and that was done quickly.
David S — Google review
They serve a salad with no less than two hairs in it and they have the nerve to charge you for it anyway. I don’t wanna make a scene but that’s just a big disgrace!!! Don’t eat here cause their kitchen is apparently a mess!!
Wico K — Google review
Hands down the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. We came here because Lonely Planet hyped it up for “homemade burgers”—what a complete joke. This wasn’t just a bad burger; it was an abomination. Everything was vile—the bread was stale, the meat tasted like it had been dragged through a sewer, and the fries were limp, greasy trash. And as if that wasn’t enough, I found a hair sitting right on my plate. Absolutely revolting. Save yourself the trauma—run like hell and never look back!
Pauline M — Google review
Ordered the empanadas for lunch. They were larger than what I am accustomed to; order 5 and fries. Didn't have room for the fries and pushed to finish the last empanada. Ordered beef, chicken and lamb varieties. Lamb was my favorite. All were incredibly tasty.
David K — Google review
Awful. Probably the worst meal I’ve ever had in Ushuaia . Ordered a salami cheese sandwich and that’s literally what I got . Few slices in a bun . My mum used to make better sandwiches for me in elementary school

Tante Sara is an Argentinean pastry and confectionery shop serving dishes throughout the day. Its location in the heart of Ushuaia makes it a convenient spot to have lunch or dinner. The coffee and alfahores are especially delicious, as well as the burgers, cakes, and pastries. Wi-fi is available, and the place stays open late.
Was looking for a good breakfast spot that had something quick and easy so we could keep our busy schedule. This place was exactly what we needed. We got two breakfast sandwiches and some submarines and coffees. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses.

Great place, a bit expensive for us. There is a lot of food that you can order (not only sweet- also salads quiches and more). Good coffee! We order cappuccino, avocado toast and Alfajores of almonds without coating and everything was delicious !! Very recommend!!

Dalí is a trendy and cozy cafe located in Ushuaia, offering a variety of espresso-based drinks, as well as wine, beer, and cocktails. The menu features an array of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options with high-quality food. The interior is simple yet classy, providing a pleasant environment for remote work or casual visits. The cafe offers free Wi-Fi and has friendly staff members who provide decent service.
It is a very cozy and trendy spot in Ushuaia. All kind of espresso-based drinks, as well as other options like wine, beer, and cocktails. The menu is of many choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (very good quality of food). The interior is lovely - simple and classy....honestly, not for special events but good enough to visit this place on a regular basis. Free wi-fi, nice music, decent service, and very friendly personnel
Katya U — Google review
Looks can be VERY deceiving. The staff is friendly and the cafe looks nice. Maybe we didn’t order the right thing, but the white mocha looks green and oily, and the coffee tastes terrible, despite it being listed under their specialties. 🤢 The burger buns are dry and quite frankly ruin the burger.
Andreea B — Google review
The cafe has a chilled vibe with a variety of seating. Some seating also includes plugs and USB ports. The main menu is in English and Spanish, but the specials menu is only in Spanish. The food arrives quickly and is delicious. Would recommend for lunch.
Lisa S — Google review
Very good place. Attention was nice and the Baileys warm chocolate was delicious. It's totally recommend
Wilfredo R — Google review
Looks can be deceiving. 2 stars for the location, warm interior and the friendly staff. Still, I would avoid this. Service is incredibly slow and incompetent. Toast was burned, food tasteless and the soups obviously stretched with water beyond any taste. There are much better places, even in touristy downtown Ushuaia.
Graf D — Google review
Two stars because the music and seating is very nice - aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Service was fine. My latte looks like just milk and I am trying hard to taste coffee. The brownie cake was good but too sweet for me with too much dulce de leche and cream - that may just be down to preference.
Aanita M — Google review
Waiter was nice, cashier was okay. Decent coffee but nothing special. Media lunas are okay.

Cafe Xpresso is a cozy spot located in Ushuaia's main street, offering a nice environment to catch up with friends or spend some time alone. The cafe provides a decent selection of coffee and cold beverages, along with various food options. It's also praised for its comfortable seating and excellent internet quality, making it an ideal place to work on a rainy day or simply hang out.
The cafe con crema was pretty awesome, a big place with plenty of seating and a good view of the street. Small patio as well. Would definitely recommend.
Robert Q — Google review
Depending on where you sit, you can get a great view of the bay. Prices are high, I guess because of the area. The food was good except for the sandwich of pan de queso, too dry.
Julieta S — Google review
I strongly disagree with all reviews criticizing their coffee and I believe they actually serve the best coffee in Ushuaia, both in terms of quality of the beans, roast and preparation. Our flat whites were delicious, with an ideal silky milk foam. Their food offer is also very solid, and with honest prices. Considering their location right in the center of town (and above a souvenir shop) they could have easily become a tourist trap and I applaud their choice not to. The ambience is modern, very cool, with plenty of seating and nice views over the harbor through the large corner windows. The Milanesa Sandwich, an Argentine classic, is large, tasty and fulfilling, enough to be considered a small meal on its own. Pies and salad also come in generous portions and are very good. To top it all off, there is very good wi-fi (especially considering how poor it usually is in Ushuaia) and spotlessly clean toilets. Highly recommended.
Niccolo' B — Google review
The coffees (flat white) were a bit disappointing, harsh flavor and too much milk. The space is great, good location, lots of seating areas and windows overlooking the port. Decent wifi, looks like a lot of tourists are stopping in to use the internet. We didn’t eat anything but there is a selection of sandwiches and pastries that looked nice.
ESB N — Google review
I was expecting more. The coffee and food options were okay. The “medialunas” were almost too sweet. The smoothies tasted artificial. However, they have lots of tables, relatively good view of the main street, and free wifi. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

A cool café to make a quick stop during a walk in Ushuaia’s main street and spend some time with friends. The place itself is nice and I found the coffee to be okay. This cake shop is a dream come true for anyone with a sweet tooth! They have an amazing range of cakes, pastries and coffee - all beautifully decorated and delicious. What a charming coffee shop on the edge of the city center, a lovely upstairs room, where you can relax, have a coffee, write your postcards if you have them and enjoy some Internet or a snack. The staff was very sweet and kind and the room has wonderful lights and windows and there are some great sitting areas. The coffee was good! There is also a selection of cakes and pastries available.

Wow. This place is stunning and amazing value for the quality of food. The spices pumpkin / cream soup is one of the best I’ve ever had and the chicken guacamole sandwich was superb. Staff were exceptional - such a lovely atmosphere to the place. We just stumbled upon this place as opposed to planning to go here and looking at its scores now they are more than deserved. Coffee was very good - not excellent - but very good...beans slightly lacking in flavour but tasty nonetheless. Brownie was divine.

Service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We had three different things: Focaccia, Jamon Croissant and sweet cinnamon roll. All of them were good but not mind-blowing. (Translated by Google) It's a pleasant, well-appointed place. The coffee is delicious, and the cake slice is quite large. The toasted bread, however, seemed small to me. It's not something you can't make at home with white bread (an estimated size; other places tend to offer more). It's a bit more expensive than other places that offer the same coffee service. I can't add much more because I only went for breakfast and a snack.

Smechén is a must-visit for chocolate lovers in Ushuaia. Visitors rave about the delicious hot chocolate, which is served submarino style by dropping chocolate into hot milk. The shop also offers free samples of their fantastic treats. In addition to the amazing hot chocolate, they serve pastries and empanadas, with the ham and cheese option being particularly delicious. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and friendly service at Smechén.
This is a really nice place and delicious chocolate. It's a little bit pricey, but there are no cheaper places in Ushuaia. I was shown the box of artisanal chocolates from the photo on the left, and 3/6 of the boxes I bought were included these worse chocolates with the cheap bear shaped chocolates that took up two spots. They did a good job of hiding that fact and the put the fancy boxes on top, hiding the cheaper chocolates below. Had I known I was getting two different kinds of boxes, I wouldn’t have purchased 3 of the cheaper chocolate boxes. Disappointed by the lack of honesty. They also tear the inside of the box by hand to make room for the bears, making it look cheap. Pretty scammy thing to do.

Entering the store, the scent of chocolate fills the air. The hot chocolate is not too sweet but full of flavor. There are so many different types of chocolate that it is hard to resist. It is a happy defeat.

I came right as they were closing, and the man that was bringing in the sign still allowed me to come in so that I could get chocolate and quickly leave. He was very kind and helpful, and helped me pick out the chocolates that I liked. Thank you to the nice man that let me in!! The chocolate is delicious.

A decent place for a cup of hot chocolate, impressed by the Bollywood music in that part of Argentina. This is from a while back, late to write a review.

Discovered them through a free chocolate ticket we got from a tour and loved it! Have come here everyday we were in Ushuaia ❤️

The service is very good and so is the hot chocolate and dulce de leche facturas. I recommend it on a rainy day!

Coffee shop
Very nice small café in a quieter street, modern looking and great selection of pastries. I tried the coffee montana which has honey cinnamon and milk in it and it was super good! We also had the chocolate alfajor and it was huge and super good. Definitely recommend for a short break aside from the hectic main street full of tourist.

Beautiful little cafe - BEST coffee in Ushuaia / Argentina that we’ve had so far! Food is amazing too - staff really polite and friendly and great vibes in general. The books and music are brilliant also 😊

I really want to love this place - cozy ambience and cool barista, but the taste of coffee is just too plain. My latte is just okay and my hubby’s flat white is terrible - it tastes like watery americano. Please try something else.

Really good coffee at this great little cafe off the Main Street. Clean and simple design and friendly staff makes this a pleasant place to hangout. There are also a few well-chosen items for sale, like Herschel backpacks and accessories and Stanley thermos flasks amongst others.

Reeeally nice, small café. A comfortable space and very accomodating and polite people working here. I ordered capuccinos and worked on my laptop for a few hours, and they also have some pastries like bagels and budin of different flavors. I'm glad I found this place, and a little sad it wasn't open on Sunday. Oh and the guy working here has dreamy blue eyes.

Found this GEM of a Cafe during my recent vacation to Ushuaia. Great selection of Coffees, teas and snacks. Service is fast, friendly and the environment is inviting. Definitely a place to stop by next time you're in Ushuaia.

(Translated by Google) The attention is good and friendly. They served us fairly quickly. The quality of the coffee is quite low, it is not from roesters but rather something generic. Few pastry options, I ordered a cornstarch alfajor and it was a little old. I saw in the letter that there are options without tac (Original) La atención es buena y amable. (Translated by Google) I don't even know where to start. I've dedicated my life to the world of coffee for quite some time. I'm from the North and I'm a barista. Where I'm from, specialty coffee is highly underestimated and disregarded by those who only respect burnt, boiled, super-roasted, or even roasted coffee. None of these concepts apply to this place. Bula is a symbol of high-quality coffee, and it's also the first place I've ever been to that truly respects the work of a true barista. I'm incredibly happy with all of its employees, who give their all to offer a better product every day. If I return to Tierra del Fuego, Bula would be the first place I'd want to go. P.S.: I'd like to take this opportunity to especially thank Nico and Lucas, with whom I was able to share delicious coffees and pleasant conversations.

(Translated by Google) It's not worth it. The food isn't great. The latte was cold and the cup was small. The chocolate milkshake with Oreos was lukewarm (when it's actually a cold drink with ice). We asked for ice, but they never brought it. The croissant was stale, not as crunchy as it should be, and the pistachio cream honestly wasn't tasty. It was beautiful to look at, but lacked flavor. The chocolate marquise and the red fruit jam were sour. It took over 25 minutes to get us a simple tea with a red velvet cookie. The place and food are aesthetically pleasing, but for the price, it's not worth it.

(Translated by Google) The filter coffee was delicious, and one slice of the Matilda cake easily fills two people's mouths. The service was a little slow, but the staff was very friendly. The space is a bit small, but everything else was amazing. (Translated by Google) I give them a five because, honestly, I've had a good latte with plant-based milk once or twice in my life. They managed to give me an excellent, very frothy coffee. Kudos to the barista. I had a very good sweet croissant. And the price was good compared to Ushuaia, for example. The atmosphere is cool. Very relaxed. I went there to study a little. The location is excellent! Thanks. Gracias

(Translated by Google) The espresso was very good. The price may be a little higher than average for coffee shops in the city, but they also offer something different from all the others. The excellent service is probably the best thing about this coffee shop. (Original) El espresso estaba muy bien. Llevame Take me is a popular spot in Ushuaia, perfect for grabbing a quick bite before heading out on an adventure. The place is known for its excellent croissants and delicious pastries that are always fresh and reasonably priced. Visitors appreciate the early opening hours, making it convenient for those with busy schedules. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere make it a comforting stop, especially for travelers feeling homesick.
This was my go to place during my week in Ushuaia before my Antarctica cruise. They were always open, so warm, and the pastries were delicious. The little cheese friends were a must eat daily for me! Made me feel comfortable and helped with the homesickness. Thank you to the Llevame staff!
