Restaurant
Café du Palais is a long-standing family café in Reims, France, housing an extensive art collection ranging from paintings to photographs and even a Chagall sketch. Visitors can indulge in a generous plate of delicious food and save room for the legendary desserts, particularly the Baba au Rhum. This charming restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience in the heart of Reims, making it a must-visit for those looking to savor both art and gastronomy during their time in the city.
Needed to sit down on the way to the cathedral and settled in here on the patio. Received excellent service, delicious champagne, so decided to stay for lunch. The escargot pasta, pate and smoked salmon salad were all fantastic. Great experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Café du Palais in Reims, thanks to Nathan, our incredibly polite and kind server. He patiently guided us through the menu despite our many dietary preferences—vegetarian, chicken-only, no seafood, no pork—and made us feel truly welcomed. His warm attitude and genuine helpfulness made our visit extra special. Thank you, Nathan, for your exceptional

The whole experience was fantastic. The staffs were super friendly to our 3 year old son, the food was delicious, and of course the champagne was brilliant. We would definitely recommend to our friends to visit!
Mm — Google review
We had a wonderful experience at the Cafe du Palais. Everyone welcomed us when we entered this very busy restaurant. We were lucky that we had made reservations online in advance. It was a short walk from the cathedral, so it fit nicely into our plans. The food and the service were exceptional. The pasta with escargot dish was delicious and filled with escargot. Our server was very warm and made it his job to see that we were pleased with our meal every step of the way. He made this very “French” experience memorable for us!
Dane M — Google review
Meh, the experience didn't match the high Google rating. Duck confit was ok, but I got a nice piece of plastic (unwrapped for picture) at the top of my side salad which I didn't bother getting returned. The waiter also took forever to pour my champagne glass... After 35 minutes waiting and asking a few times, he finally filled it the first time. I get the check at the end and see I got charged for 2 glasses, which they did correct after I informed them. Just an ok lunch.
Joe D — Google review
Enjoyed our first meal in France at this establishment. Really large portions! Our server was very friendly and professional despite it being extremely busy. Sat inside and was very charmed by the decor and people. Many locals were also dining there which we took as a good sign. Will be back!
Haelim O — Google review
Waitors are very friendly just busy so not as attentive, but they respond if u need something. The foie gras was delicious! The duck was a little on the sweet side. Lots of rum in the rum cake! My friend really liked her foie gras pasta dish. But it was very very warm inside for us in October.

Nathan is the best, he is the man of the place who tells you the dishes the champagne and wines as per taste buds. Thanks for a such a wonderful Experience it’s all bcoz of Nathan🤗

French restaurant
Nestled near Place Royale and the cathedral, Le Millénaire is a local culinary gem that has undergone a contemporary transformation. The restaurant offers refined, seasonal French cuisine in an elegant and modern setting. With its central location and attractive ambiance, it provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying amazing local dishes.
This was the best meal of my life, no exaggeration. So glad I went to this place before its inevitable Michelin fame, it’s undiscovered. Would love to come back. Highlights: the service was ASTOUNDING!!! They were so coordinated. It felt like I was in a ballet. Additionally the food was so creative but bursting with flavour. I especially loved the mushroom puree, the little tarts, the steak course, the beet course and the chocolate dessert. They did an exceptional job with the wine pairing as well. The white wine matched the curry sauce in the fish SO well. The dining area is modern and minimalistic. I love that the menu is set and secretive. They do not work with pork at this restaurant if that is a dietary concern.
Isabella G — Google review
I was lucky enough to dine here, and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in 2025 so far. The service was spot on, several waiters and waitresses looked after us seamlessly, working together like clockwork, which was a real pleasure to see. The champagne was flowing, and that cheese board…omg. Thanks team for looking after us.
Attila D — Google review
Le Millénaire matched our expectations. Great food, nice wines, excellent service. The price is on the steep side but that was not surprising. We had the 7 course tasting menu and it was more than enough food even though the portions didn't feel very large. Prepare to spend a few hours for the full experience, you won't be disappointed.
Jari A — Google review
This has taken the top spot of our food experiences in France, Spain, Portugal and Andorra. We have attempted to eat at as many Michelin restaurants as possible. My wife and I personally believe Le Millionaire should have a second star, their service, attentiveness and above all else their exquisite food was an absolute highlight! We chose the 9 course dégustation with wine pairing. They were the only restaurant in France to use a couple of wines from outside of France in their wine pairing menu. Which means in our eyes, the sommelier and head chef are really taking pride in what wines pair perfectly with their food. My wife has a unique allergy and this wasn’t any issue what so ever. Although all of the dishes were absolutely amazing. My favourite dish was their scallop dish, we were informed it was prepared in such a way for the first time that night, to suit my wife’s allergy. I’m unsure how to praise them more. If you’re seeking the best of the best this should be the only restaurant on your radar! Included are pictures of our beautiful food:

✨ Our minds were blown at Le Millénaire in Reims! From the surprise 9‑course blind tasting to each edible masterpiece, Chef you’ve truly earned that Michelin star ⭐️ Congratulations! #LeMillénaire #FrenchFineDining
Varanit A — Google review
Every city I go I always try 1 to 2 Michelin starred restaurant. Le Millénaire has good ambience, attentive service, above average food that worth a 1 star. Cons for me: the fish course and the juz for the beef course were quite salty. And the lady serving me was coughing all night so it was kind of unpleasant.
Patricia S — Google review
We did their 9 course meal with a bottle of champagne. Total bill for two ppl was about 600 euros! I would recommend 7 course meal it was a lot of food! Great service and atmosphere!

Seafood restaurant
Le Bocal, located behind the fish shop Etal de la Poissonnerie des Halles near Reims market, offers a true local French dining experience with its simple yet high-quality seafood dishes. With just fourteen seats, this eatery focuses on showcasing the freshness and quality of its seafood without overwhelming it with heavy sauces or elaborate sides.
This was the second time we visited Le Bocal (first time was in 2022) This time I even planned our route via Reims so we could eat here. The service is always superb, reservation is easily made. The waiters all speak english, so your order will be taken correctly! You can even make up your own platter with the waiter. He or she will give certain suggestions and you just have choose! Service always comes with a smile, and the food is just amazing!

Amazing experience, food, drinks and value. Complimentary amuse bouche to start. Madagascan jumbo shrimp, spider crab legs , Jumbo crab legs, Bottle of LP, whole baked sole, vegetable and cucumber/rice for circa €160. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly, helpful and food was staggered in such a way that we were there for over two hours just savouring every moment. You can basically create your own seafood platter with a huge range of options. Really special meal. The best meal I have had in a while.
Lloyd B — Google review
BEWARE, there is a new chef and none of the TripAdvisor reviews and photos of food exist anymore. I got the most disgusting tuna tartar and when i tried to order from photos the staff said- oh that’s the old chef. The new chef appparently doesn’t cook- it was not good and i feel sick now. I am attaching a photo of the beautiful food i expected. The picture with my fork is of the disgusting mayonnaise oil - canned tuna would be safer. The caviar was decent but this photo is of the 5x bigger portion they served than I ordered, for 5x the price. I think this was an honest mistake but still- if i hadn’t noticed before eating, that would be a 120 euro mistake for me. Be aware that the TripAdvisor photos and reviews are all of the former chef. Very sad. The champagne was quite good and there are many places in the area that look quite good!

Came here for lunch on Saturday, 9 August and enjoyed every moment of it. Our waiter Laura was very friendly, patient and attentive considering we dont speak a single word of French. Ordered the no 2 oysters, tapas, hot clams, sashimi and wasabi tobiko roe and they all tasted delicious and fresh. The oysters had some sweet taste to them and honestly i could have asked for more! We were offered to either sit outside or inside and we chose inside as it was pretty hot and we were the only ones inside. Air conditioning was a plus and all in all a lovely experience 😋
Arif Y — Google review
We ordered different seafood as appetizers and main courses, each ingredient was very fresh, the shrimp was sweet, the oysters were well seasoned, the scallops and fish for the main course had just the right texture. Reservation in advance, the wine list is reasonable priced, recommended!

We went for lunch to Le Bocal yesterday (Saturday) and absolutely loved it. The seafood was exceptional, and full of flavor. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a cool seaside vibe, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was excellent, and they have a great selection of champagnes. A real gem in Reims!
Juliana M — Google review
We had a spectacular meal. The service was great, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!!!
Rachel M — Google review
We arrived too late on Friday night to eat, but decided to come back on Saturday morning to pick up some oysters, to take home for dinner that night. We made a selection of the six different types of oysters on offer, they were expertly shut for us and packaged on ice so we could take this back to Germany with us. Would definitely recommend, service was friendly, and the seafood looked really fresh.

French restaurant
Anna-S-La Table Amoureuse is a comfortable bistro with a neighborhood vibe that offers elevated takes on familiar dishes. Located next to the music conservatory just south of the Cathedral, this restaurant is bright and jolly, adorned with paintings by the owner. The menu features classics that change with the seasons, such as foie gras terrine and smoked salmon for starters, and mains like braised veal sweetbreads or beef tenderloin in red wine sauce.
Excellent place for dinner! The service was great and very friendly. It is a cute restaurant with very nice owners. The food was delicious. It came very quick and there was enough choice. The wine was great and the staff was happy to explain a lot about the wine. The prices are very low for such high quality food. A top recommendation in Reims!
Reinier D — Google review
The best thing is the Palette of desserts! Menus in plastic and paper napkins should be changed to something more elegant. Service was excellent!
Alessia M — Google review
French restaurant that serves seasonal and classic menu’s more pretentious than a bistrot. Interiors would love a renovation and the plastic menu’s are absolutely a no go, dirty and unclear. That said some dishes were tasty and well made and some others less, overall it has a good price quality for Reims. Waiters were kind but sometimes forgetful. Small wine list but with some great picks.
LMC A — Google review
A little gem with fantastic service. The restaurant is charming, cozy, and full of character. The food was carefully prepared, creative, and absolutely delicious. Warmly recommended to anyone looking for an intimate dining experience with superb service and tasty flavors.

Nestled just a short stroll from the bustling Place de la Republique, "A l'Ere du Temps" is a charming creperie that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. This delightful spot specializes in both savory and sweet crepes, as well as gluten-free buckwheat galettes made from pure black wheat. The menu features an array of delectable dessert options, with handmade delights like chocolate sauce, salted caramel, whipped cream, and apple compote crafted right on-site.
Highly recommend this place for savory crepes and galettes. The owner is really helpful and happy of customize the crepes based on personal preferences. The quality of food is impeccable, fresh vegetables and ingredients make every visit worthwhile. I would also recommend the organic cider 🙂

Gary W — Google review
I only like to leave positive reviews or none at all but A l'ere Du Temps was exceptional. I felt I really had to share my experience given their write up on Lonely Planet and generally positive Facebook reviews. It seems they are at the point of hanging their hat (their guaranteed trade) off of such reviews. My experience was terrible - the worst I've received in all of France. I arrived at 9:17pm, alone, cold and hungry after a long day. They advertise their closing ti,e as 9:30pm, so when entering by myself to a basically empty venue on a Tuesday night I would expect that's ok and to receive a quick crepe. Instead, the staff member was so rude, I felt so unwelcome, he basically pretty much steered me out the door by the shoulder and told me to go away. I've never been treated with such astonishing rudeness in my life and I wanted to tell other people walking to this venue expecting the nice experience they might have read about in Lonely Planet that they should perhaps look at the many other cafes, bistros and restaurants dotted about the city. Try them out as this place is not worth the experience if you value any form of customer service.
Bryony N — Google review
Closing time does not mean anything to this place. I should have read the earlier reviews. My family and I showed up at 9pm on a Saturday to have sweet crepes and we were refused entry though their closing time is 9:30pm. Even the begging kids could not convince the staff to let us in after a long walk from the center of Reims.
Joannes M — Google review
Really delicious with great quality Artisanal ingredients, the restaurant is scrupulously clean and well worth searching out-don't be put off by the area!

6Restaurant L'Assiette Champenoise

Restaurant
Restaurant L'Assiette Champenoise in Reims is a renowned 3 Michelin-starred establishment led by Chef Arnaud Lallement, his wife Magali, and sister Melanie. The restaurant is celebrated for its refined cuisine that combines intricate flavor pairings with top-notch ingredients. Chef Arnaud draws inspiration from France and beyond, prioritizing the natural essence of each ingredient.
L’Assiette Champenoise is nothing short of extraordinary and fully deserving of its three Michelin stars. This was our second visit, and once again, it delivered an experience so exceptional that it’s well worth the trip outside of Paris. The service was a masterclass in subtlety and precision—flawless to the point that you barely noticed the staff, yet every detail was thoughtfully anticipated. The team exuded kindness and attentiveness, making us feel warmly welcomed from start to finish. The wine pairings were nothing short of phenomenal, elevating an already exquisite meal to new heights. Each course was a harmonious journey of flavors, perfectly complemented by the sommelier’s expert selections. Adding a personal touch to the evening, the chef made multiple visits to check on each table, a gracious gesture that truly set the tone for the evening. It’s rare to see a restaurant of this caliber maintain such a personal and approachable atmosphere. L’Assiette Champenoise is not just a meal—it’s an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s your first time or your fifth, it’s a destination that continually redefines fine dining. We can’t wait to return again.

A beautiful property. We had an aperitif in the courtyard before dinner which was great. Then we were taken to our table. The dining room is very beautiful and calm. Overall, the food was good. The wine pairing was VERY mediocre and not worth the money. They served many wines that were very cheap.(50-60€ per bottle). When you pay €250 euros for the pairing, you expect some prestigious wines. Really the only wine of note was the Krug 172 edition. Overall, I would say it’s not worth the money to dine here. The first three courses were very small portions of vegetables. There was quite a bit of fish(small portions) and there was no prestigious beef. Dessert was very good. I would do it once but I’m not sure about more than that.
Gordon H — Google review
Absolutely outstanding. We had a bit of a shaky start with service but after that everything and everyone was impeccable. We loved the wine pairing, the food was outstanding and the service incredibly attentive. It was my birthday, we got a visit from the chef, a delicious strawberry cake and silver egg. The best three michelin (or for that matter any restaurant) experience I've ever had. I haven't stopped thinking or talking about it.
Robyn L — Google review
Incredible meal on our visit to the Champagne region. Every course was well thought out with wine / champagne pairing. The only thing to know is the wines are solely from the Champagne region. Otherwise prepare to be wowed!
Linda K — Google review
Remarkable experience. We had the “Emotion” multi-course menu that was innovative, delicious and artistic. We had to reserve months in advance just for lunch and it was well worth it. The service was charming, funny and always first class. We walked around the gardens before the meal to see where some of the herbs and vegetables are grown. I’ve been to about a dozen three star Michelin restaurants in Europe and America and this was one of the best.
David W — Google review
A great celebration of fresh local ingredients with a focus on detail that elevated the individual courses. We had the Gout lunch menu with paired champagne and wines. Service was attentive but not overly so, and some of the staff were clearly very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Note: this is the 2022 review amended with the 2025 visit. 16th in my 3 Stars Michelin Marathon, after finishing the Paris What matters is what’s behind the plate. So usual question: What’s extraordinary here? It’s not just a name. It’s more. Assiette: it means “plate” in French. So you understand the main subject here will be gastronomy. Interestingly enough, I had the chance to discuss with the chef. I mentioned my different challenges and we exchanged about the fact that the gastronomy, in France, revolves around the “plate”, the dish (in contrast you could say that in Spain it s around the chef), and then you have the chef, the service, the art de vivre, the settings etc… but it centered around the “plate”. Champenoise: From Champagne region. This plate comes from a region. It reflects its product, taste, culinary heritage etc… Here, the honey comes from the garden. The tomatoes also, and the products that don’t come the garden come from a close network of local producers. Because the plate reflects the region and its producers. Speaking of which, you have a wine card with 980 references in Champagne. Lallement : This could have been named “Maison Lallement”(the family name) and it would be justified. But it’s not what they decided. Because they are the bearer of a tradition, an heritage. The heritage of the French gastronomy, and the heritage of the Champagne region. They deliberately choose and kept the restaurant name that focus on the region and the gastronomy but by doing so, they (with his sister, mother and late father ) did make a name for themselves in the French gastronomy. Lallement fils : The son is carrying the legacy in the kitchen. His cuisine is deeply rooted in his region obviously. But there’s two traits that Chef Arnaud is bringing (not just two but I’ll focus on two). He’s playing with the acidity extremely well to enhance the beauty. It’s tricky. Because at first it can be a bit unpleasant, acid, etc… but then it makes things actually better. A note of acidity tells you, it’s a bit tough but look how this tomato feels so much better. It’s thanks to this little acid touch that you can fully appreciate the beauty of it. That’s may be the secret of the positiveness of the chef (look at the videos, he has a good energy), not being afraid of using the acidity because it does ultimately makes you appreciate even more the “simple” things in life. It’s really the message I’ve got, for instance with his tomatoes, where you deconstruct the different taste from a tomato and you finish down memory lane. There’s really a soul in his plates. He’s not the only one. Especially in the 3 stars, but there’s a soul there speaking to you. The soul comes from a spirit, a strong will, a strong logic that animates you. In his case, he has a strong drive to always improve. His cuisine is clearly haute French cuisine. He’s not experimental or influenced by any trend. No, he’s embracing his heritage as a French, as a son, and his only motivation it’s to pursue it, and make it better. That’s the second traits. You can see that in his dishes. It’s French, it s grounded locally, it’s haute cuisine but it’s cutting edge. This also can be seen in the design of the rooms. I could not guess when it was refurbished, when usually I’m good at it. I had the explanation when I asked the chef. Every year he’s modifying, adding, suppressing, improving the design of the restaurant. He told me that he could not afford not improving every year. This mind set can be seen everywhere from the plates, the kitchen (that is one of the best I’ve seen), the service (with a dedicated plate for the long standing employee ). Yet again, It’s luxurious not because it shines or looks expensive, it’s luxurious because it feels luxurious, simply when you touch it, simply because of the quality. The plate is not just the result of a chef, it’s the result of a son, a family, a region, a gastronomic culture looking forward, while knowing exactly where they are coming from. Very grounded top tiers three stars

Absolutely delicious dinner. The service and atmosphere were great. The food was delicious and everything we expected. The steak frites and fish were perfectly prepared and the tart was great for desert. I would highly recommend anyone that is in Reims to eat here. The area is lively which is an added perk. This will be a repeat the next time we are in Reims!

If you’re after top-tier cocktails and genuinely attentive service, L’Apostrophe in Reims nails it. We walked in one evening with our travel bar book—basically the world’s most finicky cocktail list. Pierre, the bartender, dove right in like a pro, instantly clued in on what was in our book, and picked one of the trickiest drinks to make. The result felt like a masterpiece—the kind of cocktail only a master mixologist could deliver. After we left the bar, he and the rest of the staff actually checked on us from outside—totally unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. The food that followed? Just as unforgettable: beautifully presented, fresh, and absolutely delicious. If you want classy cocktails and a staff that makes you feel seen, book this place. The next day at noon, I went back in (couldn’t help myself) and was greeted by Perrine, a young woman whose poise, kindness, and perfect English added another layer to the experience. Two visits convinced me: a rare full-five-star winning spot

We enjoyed our light lunch (excellent soup & escargot), so returned for dinner. We both had the magret de carnard and both done per our request. The wine selection is excellent (it is France....). We plan to return for lunch on our last day in town.

I went for lunch and had the escargot starters and the duck for main , they were both really tasty especially enjoyed the duck and my pina colada! My server was Oliver and he was great , such a lovey gentleman and very helpful will definitely be returning!

EDIT: Second time coming back and our experience is still fantastic as ever! 💖 The servers here are absolutely wonderful 💖 definitely one of the best restos in the city center! 💖 Been wanting to try L'apostrophe ever since I moved to Reims! 💖 I've been passing by it for a while now and i was always in awe how elegant the facade was from outside. I'm happy to say it was equally as beautiful inside! 💖 I went here around 7:30pm and was seated immediately. Despite the busy dinner service, it's not too hard to be seated as the place is deceivingly big inside! The Mojito was great. It had just the right amount of punch to it. Most restaurants make the mistake of putting too much syrup that you can't even taste the rhum so I recommend this one. I had a Carbonnade de bœuf and I'm still raving about it! The beef was tender and the sauce was not overpowering. My partner had a filet de bar. It was cooked perfectly, was not too salty and the veggies complemented it well My only comment is: steer away from the Asian dishes! They are far from authentic and you are better of just trying some of their other offerings. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and I see myself coming back to try other dishes in the future!

Greatest Moroccan chicken tajine I had for so long, very well spiced and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is authentic and the staff and owner were amazing! Definitely a must go in Reims

We never had Moroccan food before and wanted to try it and we were not disappointed! We ordered a chicken tanjine, mixed meat couscous and fried spinach and cheese bites (the menu is not online and I don’t remember the exact names). They take online reservations and have menus in English.

Must Go, See, Eat, Drink here! Cannot speak more highly about this secret gem. Delicious, authentic , flavourful, rich food delivered on heavy, warming tagines. The chicken with caramelised pear and cous cous le riad were both Kings of our meal. Don't feel guilty about ordering pastilles on the side, not to be overlooked with delicate pastry and spices. The wine was gorgeous, light and floral and the staff so welcoming. Our best meal in Reims!

French restaurant
Located in the heart of Reims, Brasserie Excelsior offers an elegant dining experience with a traditional French menu and seafood platters. The restaurant, housed in a lavishly appointed mansion, is known for its seasonal dishes and regional cuisine. With a beautiful terrace for sunny days, it's a great place to enjoy quintessential French and Champenoise flavors while soaking up the atmosphere of this charming city.
Great place to have dinner. Some classics on the menu that tasted well. It is quite a fancy place, with lots of tables inside and outside. It is very nice to sit outside during a hot summer day. The food is not very expensive and comes in decent portions. The staff is friendly and served us quickly. Overal a good semi-fancy restaurant.
Reinier D — Google review
Very fancy, chic and surprisingly affordable restaurant. We had dinner inside, but expectedly during summer it would be even better outside. The menu consists of many, French orientated, different options. The wine and of course champagne options are very good. Unfortunately the staff is not really friendly, a bit distant and very hard to approach to order. Also it takes quite a while to get your food and during our dinner we see them making multiple mistakes at other tables (as multiple other guests were complaining). Quality of the food was sufficient, as per the pricing, but not in line with the style and atmosphere of the restaurant. So overall not sure if I would recommend.
William D — Google review
Very good Brasserie. Elegant space with a nice dinning room and leafy terrace. I had the Menu Excelsior 40euros. Included champagne, wine, appetizer, main and dessert. It was great food and gene rous. Will have a salad for dinner. Staff was formal, polite but nice.
Jason H — Google review
Amazing restaurant that got recommend to use by another chef. The old school French atmosphere is amazing! Priced very decent for the quality of food that gets served. Very extensive wine menu, with some wines available per glass. Personally I would wish that they had the Chablis per glass, but went with the Taittinger champagne instead. Can’t go wrong with Excelsior. Also the staff is very friendly, speaks English very well and they offer an English menu. Definitely would recommend Excelsior ❤️ !
Mark V — Google review
We had lunch here and were shocked to find that the chicken was served with baking paper still attached. When we asked for an apology, the manager’s attitude was extremely rude and dismissive. It felt as if they assumed we were just tourists who couldn’t speak French, and therefore didn’t deserve proper respect. Truly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Never coming back, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.
Chiouyus — Google review
Creative flavors in a green garden setting This brasserie pleasantly surprised us with its inventive dishes and relaxed vibe. The food was solid, with some truly creative flavor combos — like a gazpacho served as dessert and a vegetarian poké bowl beautifully plated on a dish instead of in a bowl. For those who enjoy it, foie gras is also on the menu. The real highlight? Dining outside, surrounded by lush greenery. A lovely spot for a leisurely meal with something special on the plate.
Raoul — Google review
The food was just good, nothing exceptional, but the atmosphere and service were excellent.
V S — Google review
A terrible experience! I booked our reservation almost a month in advance for a group of 9, explicitly requesting to sit on the terrace if the weather allowed. I even called ahead to double-check. When we arrived, there was still plenty of space outside, but the disgustingly rude waiter refused to let us sit there, claiming it was going to rain. Keep in mind, half of the terrace was already full of people. It did not rain the entire evening... After our meal, we stepped outside to find the terrace completely packed, including tables of 7 or 8 people. Absolutely disgraceful service and unfriendly staff. Would never recommend.

A lovely experience for two Irish diners on our last evening in France. The young man who served us was impeccable in every way, une véritable star! He agreed to speak in French (something that we have found surprisingly difficult to get people to do once they hear our Irish accents). He gave us good explanations and advice when requested but was in no way "pushy." Service was prompt - not rushed, friendly, and efficient. The menu was very good and sufficiently varied. The food was very tasty, as others have described, and served in good quantity. There is a nice ambience in the dining room, undoubtedly aided by the pleasant staff. Overall, excellent! Une régale.

Good place on a conveniant address to have a seafood platter or traditional French cuisine. Champagne for 9,50 €/glass. Lots of staff, always someone able to attend. Interior a bit too illuminated, not cosy. Comfy seatings.
Maria G — Google review
Very friendly service but some food over cooked. People I dined with asked for medium steak and it arrived well done. My salmon was a little dry but the sauce was good. The rice that came with it however tasted like rice I've had with a meal on a flight. The fruit sorbet was amazing however, absolutely amazing. The chocolate ice cream dessert waa disappointing, do not order if you are a chocoholic as it just tastes like cheap chocolate ice cream with lots of whippes cream on top! All in all, the atmosphere waa good but the food was kinda average.

Nice atmosphere, great champagne list. The food was the worst we have had in this trip and also very expensive. The rissoto was tasteless, however the scallops in the rissoto had a nice flavor and the only thing I ate. The gambas with spices were unedible, mostly overcooked and unappealing, the rice that came with the dish was overcooked and mushi. Won't recommend.

Lovely Cosy Family run business!! The husband is the chef and his wife in the front. The food was 10/10. The flavours were next well, all food was cooked to perfection. My lamb was so juicy melted in my mouth and my partners cod dish was also cooked to perfection. They have a lovely cave style dining area.

This is a homey place. The food was good at best. However, that cool looking room in most pictures smells quite musty. There is a rusty metal bar going through the posterior lower part of the room. By the AC. The room has a carpet, that seems old and part of that musty issue. Why would you have cheap looking, old carpet in a small restaurant? When you look closely at the bricks they have dark mold in multiple areas. The knives to cut the steak are not sharp, making me obliterate my stake while cutting it. The steak was medium well, i wanted it medium rare. Just… a lot of details for this well intended restaurant are lacking. Not overpriced. Modest wine list.
Alishia M — Google review
Second time in Reims for me and stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant in the corner near the Gare on a Tuesday night. It was 7pm and asked the Miss host if I could dine without a reservation and they let us in. Both Misses who hosted us were very warm and friendly and with my broken French, still allowed me to continue tried speaking in French. On a tangent, I am of Japanese decent and believe that language plays a huge roll in perception in the world and always felt if visitors in Japan could learn just a little Japanese, the experience would be 10x better. The nuances of things change dramatically and the hosts (I later found out they both speak very good English) allowed me to converse with them in French. I really appreciate the time they spent dealing with my ego and very appreciative of their hospitality. I think most of the seating were underground level and felt like I was dining in a beautiful old wine cellars which hit my taste 120%. Every time I visit a basement I keep imagining converting it to my man cave. Now for the food and champagne side, you are in the best brut region in the world. I had a demi-bottle for two of us which was perfect for my non-alcohol tolèrent body and the food was beautiful and very tasteful. A lot of local ingredients in season. I love sauerkraut and learned the dish they served had it under the fish we ordered and is the Alsace regions specialty. My travel buddy loves asparagus and the white asparagus soup (potage??) he said was best he has ever had. I always love restaurants serving great seasonal local ingredients that is not common to me. Price wise, coming from California and stopping by at Paris, is very accessible and nothing that would break your bank. I don’t want to say “cheap” because as a restauranteur myself I don’t want to give impression that the restaurant is underselling itself at all but compared to what you get for spending 75-100 USD for two in America, I say what we received in food and services is something that would easily cost me 150+ per person in Bay Area. (I know this is bad American habit but had to put it in here) Thank you Ms.s for taking us in and not rushing us during the dining experience. I was happy with the hospitality but the city was very pretty and after the great food, I wanted to stroll around and see the beautiful buildings as it matched the food very much. I am looking for place in France to remote/work in the future and this restaurant gave me +2 pts for choosing Reims as a contender.

The restaurant offers a well-stocked menu in a typical setting, with delicious tapas to complement your favorite drinks. The Basque Country, known for its unique culture and exceptional food, serves as the inspiration for this cozy eatery. Visitors have raved about the cold seafood appetizer special and the flavorful paella featuring duck, chicken, sausage, and various seafood.
4,8/5 Great authentic basque restaurant not too far from downtown Reims. Cosy and warm dining room, spacious enough with super friendly waitresses and an even friendlier boss/cook (Jean Marc). We tried their homemade foie gras with chutney and sea salt. Excellent taste, unctuous and fresh. The only downside was the toast; soggy and store bought (a bit disappointing)! I opted for the Paella del Piccadore (sausage and beef); absolutely DELICIOUS flavors, rice cooked to perfection, slightly hot but not overwhelming. It is very copious & generous, and you can't have enough! We tried the basque wine Irouleguy which complemented perfectly the dishes! They also serve meals of the day at really excellent prices given the quality of food. A very nice address to try !

One of the better restaurant experiences we had while in Reims. This restaurant is located a short walk west of the city centre but is very much worth a visit. Plenty of menu items to choose from and very reasonably priced. Super friendly waitress and owner who gave us a coulple of extra things to try between meals and a shot of something (not sure what it was!) at the end of our meal. We had a three course menu and there was nothing we could fault. Make sure you call and make a reservation as we went on midday on Monday and it was full to the point they had to turn people without a reservation away.

The restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I was so happy to find this restaurant and have an amazing dinner at a very reasonable price. The food was amazing. Some of the best I’ve had for a long time. I really enjoyed it. However the level of service was significantly lower than the quality of food. As a non-French speaking guest I didn’t feel welcome. It didn’t only feel as if it was due to a language barrier, but a general hostility towards non-French speakers (which also included another table). Beautiful food but I wouldn’t recommend. I’m sorry that this is the case since I wish all the best for you.

Amazing food quality and the wine was lovely. It was a simple menu with two set menus (25 or 35€) or a la carte. There were 4 different options for each course. Everything we ate was exceptional and beautifully presented. The waitress was quite brief with us but I belive that was simply a language barrier (no English spoken by her and only a little french by us!) as she was happily chatting with some other customers. Excellent preventative measures in place for covid also.

The smoked salmon and duck confit were both incredible, but the duck terrine was one of the best dishes I've had in my life. The staff was attentive and explained each dish and the process behind how each dish was created and sourced. I wouldn't hesitate to dine at Atome next time I'm in Reims.

Luci and I had the pleasure of having a private lunch with Aline and Eric at their lovely, inviting restaurant in Reims. We spent a few hours sharing our love of good food, music, travel and champagne. Eric has a fantastic audio set up & he shared his varied collection of vinyl records throughout dinner. It was great to talk with a mutual audiophile. Aline’s suggestion for a champagne for our lunch was spot on. She also had great suggestions for champagne importers in our area and great places to visit near us. We felt truly welcome. All of their food is organic and carefully & ethically sourced. We had the most delicious smoked salmon, pate, terrine and duck confit. Knowing that everything was lovingly chosen from local families that used organic and ethical methods made if even more enjoyable. They also gave us suggestions for great places to try on our journey through france. We are going to try a really cool farm to table meal / experience near Beaune. We had a fantastic experience!

I first visited in 2021 and recently returned to try the new concept, Atome. I love the refreshed approach - the food was fresh, flavourful and beautifully prepared. Our favourites were the seasonal tomatoes, salmon, pâté and ham. Eric and Aline are warm and welcoming and their hospitality elevates the experience. A must go to in Reims!

Fantastic selection of grower champagne. Excellent staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about local wine and food. Food options sourced from nearby areas. We tried many things but the duck dish was the most memorable. They were very welcoming. We hope to return one day.

This was outright one of the best experiences of our lives! The service and warm ambiance we received from the proprietors and staff was unmatched, the flavors from the rich delicious food were incredible, the selection of unusual grower/small producer Champagne is unmatched. Email and make a reservation ahead of time so that you know you can get a table and savor and enjoy whatever they bring you.

We discovered a hidden gem in Reims, France - Au Bon Manger. An eatery that passionately supports small family businesses, creating a sanctuary where gastronomic delights shine, away from the hustle of big industry. Stepping into Au Bon Manger is like visiting a friend's home, complete with a cozy kitchen, warm hospitality, and the delightful charm of a homemade feast. The hosts, Aline and Eric with the help of Xavier, are true aficionados of fine food and wine. They offered us a blind wine tasting experience, encouraging unpretentious enjoyment of their expertly curated selection. Our table was adorned with an exquisite variety of charcuterie, cheese, duck rillettes, an outstanding terrine, and a pork dish that forever changed the way we perceive this meat - tender, salty, and delightfully fatty. Au Bon Manger has become a standout in our culinary journey - no surprise that it's a sought-after spot. Be sure to book ahead to enjoy this captivating experience!

One of the finest wine lists in the world, not remotely an exaggeration. Excellent food, aa well. Quality of the consumables only surpassed by the knowledge of the staff. Made the trip to Reims, would not return to the city without marking several hours to spend here. A gem in this dark world.

One of the best champagne bars in Reims. They have a large selection of fantastic grower champagne and great food to pair with it. Friendly atmosphere and great people.

Amazing evening in beautiful Reims. Camille and her team were incredibly knowledgable about the champagnes on their wine list and helped us choose. Very attentive and friendly - patiently entertained my efforts of speaking French :-) Wonderful evening.

Great wine bar! The sommelier will get you exactly what you are looking for, great customer experience. I think it is one of the best wine bars in Reims. Comparing here to other wine bars like La Grosse Bouteille, Le Wine Bar is at another level, much better variety and the service you can’t even compare. At the Le Wine Bar they will listen exactly the sort of wine you are looking for.

Friendly staff and extensive wine/champagne list made it one of the best place to taste wine in Reims. However the food is too salty and overpriced. Not recommended for dinner.

Great wine and champagne bar, like a few in town. Reims is so wonderfull!
M S — Google review
Nice wine bar with a great champagne selection that is served by the glass. They seem to like brut nature and extra brut champagne styles here. There is plenty of choice in interesting still wines by the glass as well, and I tried Ratafia for the first time in my life. The wine list is only available online, has a focus on French wine, and has such an extensive range (over 40 pages) that it can seem little bit intimidating. We have been drinking wine by the glass, we really enjoyed drinking "mystery wine", the content of the glass was a great surprise. The food we had was nice, however the focus of this bar is wine. We would definitely come back and try some more wine if we are in Reims again.

Le Clos, located at 25 rue du Temple, is a trendy wine bar just a short walk from the Cathedral in Reims. The interior has a shabby-chic and boudoir-like ambiance with vintage furniture and jazz music playing in the background. The courtyard is adorned with art-deco-era decor and umbrellas, creating a charming atmosphere reminiscent of a chic outdoor gathering.
Really cool spot for a few beers between friends especially in the summer. I always make sure i pop by whenever i’m in reims. Reminds me if english pubs.

This was my first time visiting and I have to say it is a great 1st impression. We have found our go to place when in town. The atmosphere is amazing! The service was great and fast. A huge shout out to the service staff. Everyone seemed as they are happy to be there which reflects heavily on their customer service. One name is Raul, his energy and hospitality was impeccable. Food was good. No pics but my wife and I had the cheese-plate. It was great and had a decent selection. If you’re a foreigner they do speak English. But I always recommend to know a little bit of French when in France. 🙃. They were really busy in the evening with music playing. Great choice of music that evening :). There is a club in the back which has a separate entrance. I don’t have any concrete feedback but it’s seemed fun when glancing inside during my way to the bathroom.

Great bar split into 3 distinct sections - buzzing and huge courtyard out the bar, more relaxed inside lounge and seats outside. We did not eat, but marvelled instead at the champagne options Would love to see more wines by the glass, but the by the bottle list was impressive. Lots of other busy places around made for a great Friday night.
Matthew H — Google review
During my vacation in Reims I notice that Le Clos is one of the most popular bars in the city. The bar is huge and is divided into three different environments: Terrace bar, Wine lounge and Garden bar. I loved the style of the bar and the way in which each environment has characteristics that are different from each other. In the terrace bar it is very relaxing and facing the market, the wine bar is inside with a very rustic decoration and several bottles of champagne and wine around the bar and the Garden bar is more like "club" style with louder music, fewer places to sit, game tables, has a large bar and serves various types of snacks. I really liked the place and the prices are not expensive depending on what you decide to drink. The waitresses are super attentive, very friendly, they are super customer focus. Someone of them won’t speak english, but they will do everything possible for you to understand them and them to you. My only criticism is the security guard at the door of the Gardem bar, he is very unfriendly, thick, 0 customer service, but that didn’t ruined the great time I had on this bar.
Luis L — Google review
Busy little spot in the heart of Reims. Laid back service, decent tapas and pretty much one choice of champagne by the glass, more by the bottle. Lots of cool kids and older couples mingling, smoking and generally having a good time.

Great atmosphere, easy going staff, speaking English. Indoor lounge for a relaxed setting, and an outdoor terrace for fun. This place was such a gem in the middle of Reims! We were heading back to the train station back to Paris but decided to stop in for a quick bite. We all got cheeseburgers with various toppings, and they were delicious! The fries were also very good! Crispy yet soft. Would definitely recommend over other restaurants!

It was our first time at this restaurant. The presentation was nice and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations. You choose exactly what you want in your burger, yet in the end, they add whatever they want 🤷‍♀️. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, but it came without bacon. We also ordered a chicken cheeseburger, which turned out to be the most tasteless burger I’ve ever had — the chicken had no flavor, was very dry, and the bun seemed old. Overall, despite the good presentation and kind staff, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Food is very good and the place has an excellent menu. Anyone who has been in a good U.S. burger joint will feel right at home. It’s very clean, bathrooms actually have soap for washing hands unlike typical restaurants. The service is top notch. Very generous and accommodating which made are experience here perfect.

we stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Reims and this burger place was in walking distance. The place was clean, staff were fantastic and the burgers were amazing! the milkshake was soooooooo good too. I would happily eat here again.
G S — Google review
It was okay, as a three star suggests. The bacon cheeseburger was good but put together very messily so that half of it fell out before even starting. The bun was not great, an easy way to improve a burger. The fries could have been really good but were unfortunately soggy and limp, the taste was good which is why it was a shame they were soggy! The Nutella milkshake was again OK, tasty but I've had many better milkshakes. The place has potential but due to many average attributes I felt it was lacking overall a little. In saying this, it's great if you're after a quick burger and fries.

The place is really nice. I have tried burgers at more fancy places but this small place has some really delicious burgers. The taste and quality is really nice. Staff is friendly as well and the price is also not really expensive like fancy places. So you can have a good pleasure in small amount.

Bochelley — Google review
Burger place located on one of the main pedestrian streets in Reims. Price was reasonable, we took the 15€ Shake menu (burger, fries, drink and milkshake). The chicken cheeseburger was ok, the chicken itself was quite nice (whole chicken breast) but the rest was not great. As per the photo, it is not the most appetising burger visually and was very roughly put together - which was a surprise since it was mid afternoon and very quiet when we were there. A few small changes such as more care when putting the burger together and using a better quality bun would have made an average burger a good burger. The fries were nice, slightly soggy but not bad. The strawberry milkshake was fairly standard for France - creamy milk with a fruit syrup flavour. They've not quite caught on to the luxury milkshake game you'd expect if you are coming from Australia/USA/Canada. Overall an ok experience, fairly cheap casual burger place and it is one of very few places in Reims open on a Sunday if you're looking for a quick feed.

A quick and convenient restaurant located in Reims. With a diverse menu of Istanbul and American food options there is something for everyone. Food is also severed quick. The only complaint that I have is that the fries were a little soggy and not crisp. Would recommend if you are in a hurry.
Hello — Google review
We ordered a sandwiches kebab and tacos with fries. Honestly, this was a waste of money. First, the sandwich portion was disappointing. Most of the filling seemed to be on the outside, and when you actually bite into it, it feels empty, just bread and sauce with barely anything inside. This is careless preparation. Second, the fries were absolutely inedible. They looked and tasted like they had been reheated or refried several times. The texture was hard, the color was off, and the taste was nothing like real fries. It was so bad that we couldn’t even finish the sandwiches. What makes it worse is that I’ve eaten here before (dine-in) and it was fine, but this takeout order was unacceptable. We were in a hurry, planning to eat in the car, and instead ended up disappointed, hungry, and having to find food elsewhere. This will be my last time ordering from here.

(Translated by Google) Delicious pizzas! I admit I had difficulty with the "real Italian" side, eating only frozen pizzas I wasn't used to. However, it is excellent and very good, despite a pizza slightly burnt on the edges, the service was perfect and the place as warm as the employees. It's very beautiful, although it may lack space between tables. For lovers of Italian food, I recommend it!

(Translated by Google) I didn't like the fact that they changed the price of a pitcher of wine from €15 to €25 without warning me in advance or mentioning it on the bill. It's not my problem if it was undrinkable; the wine was far too green; you have to know how to serve a decent wine for a €15 pitcher. Serving a bottled wine was not my choice, but the restaurateur's. Good pizzas, but the toppings on the crust were minimal. In short, this "final bill" ruined our evening, given the way we were treated. I wouldn't go back.

We were really pleasantly surprised. We walked around Reims with our two picky kids and determined much of the local fair to be too complex. We were about give up and eat at the Golden Arches when I spotted Let's Sandwich. We ducked in to check the menu and a lovely gentleman greeted us and happily explained they make everything fresh. We had a pretty good sample of the cuisine and all were very happy. My daughter and I had excellent hand-packed burgers with homemade fries. My wife and son had fresh grilled chicken baguette sandwiches. Everyone agreed the food was very high quality for the price. One final note, the gentleman behind the counter was exceptionally kind. We speak very little French but he patiently explained everything in English so we could enjoy a lovely lunch in the shadow of the Cathedral.

Stopped by for lunch a few minutes early with our 1pm reservation on a Friday a couple days after Christmas day. Although the restaurant was nearly full, we were seated immediately upon arrival at our reserved table. We had a couple small dogs with us that sat quietly under our table. It did take about 20 mins after being seated before our server showed up to take our orders, but we probably needed that much time to review the extensive 7 page menu. Although it did take some time to get our order delivered to the table, our server was very nice and efficient. We started with La Bistrot (pour 4 personnes) a “Planches XL a partager” which included a nice sampling of tasty appetizers including saucisson, goat cheese, pate, etc. which was quite filling. The small bread rolls were a bit hard and were not as fresh and crunchy as one would expect. Given the meals being quite pricey, we were disappointed in the overall taste and quality of the food served. The Bavette de Boeuf Angus was tasty, cooked med rare as requested and was served hot; however, the quality of the meat was not good – too tough and sinewy. The tartare de boeuf sicilien was tasty and well-prepared. The Moules Marinieres were good but not exceptional. Overall, we found the service here to be friendly but slow because nearly every table was taken. Food is a bit too pricey for the quality delivered so we will not be back.

Try somewhere else. Drinks were watered down (we sent back & reordered just in case we were mistaken) fries were ice cold, & the chicken sandwich tasted like frozen chicken fingers. Mussels were ok & lacked much flavor aside from the ample celery. We loved the town, but we're very disappointed. They were UNWAVERING to make it right. Spoke to waiter & manager. Will dispute.

I was here 2-3 years ago. I told my wife how much I missed this place. But we gave 4 stars to the foods is because is was slightly different taste than my last time. Although the foods wasn't good as last time, the service is still a top notch. We were satisfied and we will always come back.

This French clubbing restaurant offers quite a fun mix of atmosphere and food. The interior design is democratic and laid-back, more about energy and vibe than polished luxury, which suits the lively clubbing spirit perfectly. The food is tasty and satisfying, but definitely not the healthiest choice — mayonnaise seems to be the star of many dishes. Prices are moderate, making it easy to enjoy both dinner and a night out without breaking the bank. One detail worth mentioning: the toilets are clean (always a plus in a busy nightlife spot), but the sink looks like something designed for cows — practical, but certainly not glamorous. Overall, it’s a place for people who want good flavors, fair prices, and a carefree night out, without worrying too much about calories or design perfection.

Awesome place, I could not choose what to have because the choice and quality was so great. The truffle pizza and reasonably priced champagne was amazing! Highly recommend.

I recently dined at L'edito and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, offering a variety of flavors that were both satisfying and memorable. The dishes were not only tasty but also affordable, providing great value for money. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful meal without breaking the bank.

3 Brasseurs is a French restaurant known for its cozy and spacious interior, offering a memorable dining experience. The place is popular for its great beers and good service. It's conveniently located near the train station, making it an ideal stop before or after champagne tours in Reims. Although the food is tasty, it may not be exceptional as expected. The restaurant allows dogs inside and can get quite busy during lunch hours, so arriving early is recommended to avoid the rush.
Nice food and a reasonable price. Good location and service. Menu available in English as well

I came here with my family after seeing the reviews before hitting the champagne tours. I guess I was expecting better food. However the beers were great and the service was good. The restaurant was cool and it was super convenient to the train station.

5 stars for the friendly smiley service staff! Made our ordering so easy. The burger was delicious! The colour code beside the food menu is the beer to go with it. Steak was Delicious!

Went here for dinner. Casual place with nice pub type atmosphere, excellent service, and great food. We had grilled salmon (cooked to perfection) and the warm goat cheese salad (also delicious). Would definitely eat here again!

We went here around 11:40pm and we came just in time before the lunch break rush! We could be seated immediately inside (they allowed our dog in too! 💖). Coming here early was the right decision, in just a couple of minutes, the place was buzzling with people! 💖 I didn't realize how big the interior was judging from the outside 💖 the place was cozy, spacious, neat and service was not hard to call and all our needs were immediately met The food in itself is ok. It tastes good but it's not outstanding. It felt like it was already prepared food that was just heated to be served. The serving is huge though and is way enough for more than one person in my opinion! Food was also served fast so that's a plus of you want something quick for lunch I have to say the fish in my order fell a little short of my expectations. In my opinion, it felt nothing different than one you would get from the supermarket to fry at home. Despite this, the whole dining experience was still wonderful and i will definitely be coming back to try other dishes! 💖 We paid about ¥42 for two people (including a drink each).

Lovely, Belgian-like food, good street atmosphere in tourist area, reasonable prices. Have poutine and tasting beers (4) trencher! Staff pleasant and helpful, kind to kids and willing to seat us when we arrived quite late (9.15pm) - unlike another local restaurant. Good alternative to the champagne focus..

Third visit and the best so far. The service was quick enough and friendly. The waitress spoke a little English. The four small taster beers were interesting as ever. From the menu we thought we were going to be offered a choice but we weren't. The flammkuchen were well topped and crispy. This time we also shared a sweet one. It was smaller but enough.

Brasserie Le Jardin is a contemporary restaurant located within the renowned 'Les Crayeres' complex in Reims. It offers an eclectic menu featuring dishes like foie gras, snails, steak, bouillabaisse with langoustines, black truffle and scrambled eggs, smoked salmon with potato parmentier, and confit lamb shoulder with Champagne lentils. The restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere and attentive service for both intimate dinners and celebratory feasts.
Nice experience. Menus à la carte are balanced but quality/price ratio is better with menu automne. Wine list is extensive and universal, but margins are high. Ask for cork fee if you have your wine.

*** Highlights: Chocolate dessert and the service *** What we liked: The staff is very very nice. What a beautifully decorated place *** Recommended? I was expecting a little bit more in terms of food. France cuisine is extraordinary but this place felt a little bit short. I would recommend a la carte option and not the set menu.

We had an amazing lunch here! Highly recommend and would eat here again for sure! Phenomenal. The split pea soup was the best I've ever had, and that was agreed by the whole table. The wild boar stew was very good, tender and paired well with the fries. My friend liked his herring dish. Whatever starter they gave us was sooo good, some sort of thin carb with a dip. Beautiful atmosphere. Go here!!!

We came here based on the Michelin Guide. It did not disappoint. We did not book but fortunately were able to get seats at the bar. I’d recommend booking! The service and waiters (especially Elliot) were amazing. Top class and quintessentially français. Elliot’s moustache was particularly fabulous. We had the jardin set menu and champagne. And the food was unbelievable. The flavour. The execution. The culinary skill. Top class and highly recommended to anyone who is interested in great food and French service. Do come here and enjoy!

Visited this place 3 years ago - had great service and experience. This time the experience was very poor. We came early for dinner. Waited forever for menus. Had to remind the staff that we had ordered water also. Some of the people in our table did not receive a fork for their meal. Wine pairing this time for the set menu was boring. Had to request for pairing for dessert since no-one asked if we wanted anything, nor once showed up during our dinner to check on us. It just seemed we were not welcome there this time.. seasonal menu was tasty though.

Brasserie Le Gaulois is a casual dining spot located in the heart of the city, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a spacious terrace overlooking rue Condorcet. The menu features traditional regional dishes such as sauerkraut, homemade tartars, and hearty salads. Despite being busy, especially during summer, the service is excellent with friendly and professional staff. The eatery stands out for its extended opening hours, serving its full menu even after the usual lunch closing time.
We had a great experience at this restaurant! The meat was very delicious—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portion size was just right, making it well worth the price. The ambiance was pleasant and the place was clean. The staff were kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We started with one French onion soup which could have been a meal on its own. The soup had great depth of flavor and a beautiful cheese. The Quiche Lorraine was light and fluffy from beginning to end. Staff suggested perfectly the Chablis pairing. My Girlfriend had the panfried Foie Gras Macaronnade which was a rich in flavor, velvety in texture. Both were generous portions. Staff were friendly and welcoming on rainy evening.

Such a great place. The waitress we had was super from the beginning to the end. We got a nice booth even we were only two people. The food was superb. Onion soup was the best we have had in ages. So much taste, but not salty. The escargots, yummy, great flavor, perfectly made. And the beef cheeks, so tender, flavorful, but not overly salted. The meet just fell apart. We had a great time there, relaxing and laid back athmosphere. They didnt stress us, even we were finished. Had a good coffee at the end. Will definately go back everytime we are in Reims. We came back the next day, for the daily lunch. Roastbeef, gosh, so good. Service was just as good.

Just steps from the cathedral’s soaring spires, this charming bistro offers swift service, which is a welcome relief for visitors balancing sightseeing and lunch. The dishes arrive quickly, allowing you to enjoy a satisfying meal without feeling rushed. The food itself is genuinely delicious — from expertly seared meat to fresh seasonal vegetables, everything is fait à la maison, and each plate has clearly been prepared with care and flavour in mind. One thing to note: the venue is so popular that there is often a long queue outside, especially at peak lunch or dinner times. It’s definitely worth the wait, but arriving a bit earlier or booking ahead is a good idea.

They were serving food before 7 pm and had an English version of their menu, so I had low expectations. But after a long day with too much champagne and not enough food, I wanted a good meal before catching my train back to Paris. The service, selection, food, atmosphere, and well seasoned quality ingredients were spectacular. The beef was sooo tender, the mashed potatoes were perfect. The simple $5 green salad I requested had some of the best heirloom tomatoes of my life, and i could have drank the dressing with a straw. I am astonished by the price and excellence in such a touristy zone. The people watching was excellent. One of my favorite meals in France to date, and I’ll probably still be shocked about just randomly walking into it many years from now. 10/10 recommend.

A super nice restaurant. A really wide offer in the menu, a great wine list. They also provided a fast and present service and they were on their toes. All in all, 10/10 and equally great for groups friends or family with children.

Absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent and the food superb. I arrived just before 7pm and it was quite quiet but by 8 it was buzzing with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I know the prejudice about places that stay open outside the sacred French lunch hours - usually a tourist trap in disguise. This one, though, is a pleasant exception. Open, welcoming, and consistent: service always kind, food always good, and portions meant to eat, not just “taste”. At 16h00 I was starving and thought, fine, one quick lunch. After this meal, I’m skipping dinner. The terrace deserves a mention too - properly heated, covered from rain, perfect if you like being outside but not freezing. My only complaint used to be the champagne list: all big houses, too generic. But today I spotted Sadi Malot and a couple of other growers. Way to go. Merci for evolving in the right direction.

Haute French restaurant
Hôtel L' Assiette Champenoise is a refined establishment with elegant rooms and suites, featuring an acclaimed restaurant, a bar, and a pool. The hotel's chef, Arnaud Lallement, has honed his culinary skills under the guidance of renowned mentors and brings his Breton heritage into the high-caliber cuisine offered at the restaurant.
Had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel for just a short time while at Reims. There are many elements that make this hotel a unique and memorable experience. The hotel has been in the Lallement family and is currently run by Mr Arnauld (chef of the eponymous restaurant, his wife and his sister. And how, also their son, Brice, who is a chef at the restaurant. The hotel has a very friendly vibe, and delivers a true five star services. Throughout the property, there are many elements that make your stay at the chateau like home. In particular, many lounging areas on the first floor decorated with beautiful furniture for relaxation, a nice outdoor garden area for lounging, and a lovely outdoor garden with both vegetation and planted varieties for the kitchen. Rooms are exceptionally appointed, with careful attention to both design and utility. If you have done a high end renovation at your home, you can certainly appreciate all the details that went into it: from the placement of furniture, to the details such as the closet and the bathroom. We stayed in a terrace suite on the first floor, with a room that has separate bathroom, bedroom, a walk-in closet, a living room (adjacent to bedroom, with no door) + a separate kitchenette area for enjoying champagne and snacks. There is also a terrace which is made quite private by plants. The best way to describe the property is quiet luxury. The highlight of the trip was to dine at Arnauld Lallement / L'asiette Champenois restaurant, which is of the "worth a special journey" category, and it is indeed worth a special journey. I will write a separate review on the restaurant. But suffice it to say that in more traditional French cooking style, L'asiette dining experience is a homage to traditional French cooking, with many recipes coming from the family of the chef. The hotel also has the most wonderful french breakfast, which is a whole review worthy experience on it's own. Try a few unique French / local specialties such as the Mirabelle Prune Juice (I really think it is an apricot :), but we can call it a prune in french tradition). Both the hotel and the restaurant have a low key (non corporate) vibe, which is a welcome sign for weary travelers like us who prefer the personal touch. A very nice aspect of the hotel is that the hotel and the restaurant operate just 5 days a week: from Thu night to Tue morning (Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Monday). The reason is that there is no substitute staff, and every day you have the exact same staff (of course, depending on the hours). This gives the guests continuity in their service and also allows the staff to become experts in their respective positions. Come Tue noon, the entire staff has 2 days off, and they pick up again on Thu. This allows the staff: owners, managers, and rank and file, to work together, and rest together. They also take the entire month of February, and two weeks in August for vacation. Nice concept. We certainly appreciate it. I will try to post some pictures of the property I took when my technology works. Last, but not least, a shout out to Johanna at the front desk, who helped us with the planning, answered all our questions, recommended the Champagne Trail route to Champillion, and more. See you next time.

It is unfortunate that despite the large staff in this type of restaurant, the quality of service during my visit was not smooth. I tried the Emotion menu and the famous caviar dish and lobster dish were really great. However, the food overall was not to my taste and especially the chicken dish with quite a strong chicken smell as the last course and the non-alcoholic pairing was not very well done even considering the difference in taste. And while their cheese selection is good, the bread they serve does not seem to go well with the cheese. It is a shame that they do not have a separate type of bread for the cheese despite having such cheese. Overall, it does not seem to be worth the 395 euros. On the other hand, the only type of white tea they have is, fortunately, excellent.

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately no access to food unless you dine in their Michelin star restaurant, which they don’t tell you until you’re there. So unless you want to pay several hundred euros for every single lunch and dinner, you’ll have to go off property. Not even any bar food in their bar! We visited their bar - nicely appointed however, it was almost like they felt they were doing us a favour by serving us. Basically a five star restaurant with a four star hotel attached, and less than four star amenities.

Possibly the best meal of my life, surpassed perhaps only by the service. Beautiful hotel room, too. A true, too notch, 5-star experience, and the restaurant absolutely deserves the 3 Michelin stars.

This was our first visit to L'assiette, but almost certainly will not be our last. Everything here was first rate, from the large, comfortably appointed rooms, to the well kept swimming pool, the exemplary customer service and the excellent cuisine at the restaurant. At no point did L'assiette miss a step. Truly a memorable visit...

Recent stay of three nights, one of which we ate in the hotel restaurant. First up, breakfast. Used to be buffet style apparently but now table service, except it should be termed sporadic service. Very poor. Balcony suite booked was just about adequate, as it should be for a touch under a thousand Euros a night. Finally, the restaurant. Is it forbidden for staff to smile once a place has 3 stars? Robotic automatons. Food wise, had to return one dish (not very brill Brill) Just mush. Severe disappointment, they really don’t seem to be as good as they think they are. Dinner the following evening at Le Foch in Reims much more enjoyable. And they smile…

Domaine Les Crayères is a luxurious estate featuring elegant accommodations in a magnificent mansion. The property boasts an upscale restaurant, Le Parc, where guests can savor exquisite gastronomy crafted by renowned chef Philippe Mille. Additionally, the casual brasserie, Le Jardin, offers a more relaxed dining experience. The estate also prides itself on its talented culinary team, including pastry chef Yoann Normand and Japanese chef Kazuyuki Tanaka.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I fell in love with it. A beautiful hotel, splendid garden, great location, and friendly staff made my holiday truly enjoyable. I’d especially like to thank Loise for arranging my Champagne house tour and for taking such good care of me and my friends during our visit. I definitely recommend staying here!
Bohye K — Google review
Last weekend, we spent one night at Hôtel Les Crayères before continuing our journey to the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa in Épernay. The welcome and service at Les Crayères were truly outstanding. From the moment we entered the estate until the moment we checked out, we were surrounded by a warm, attentive, and highly professional team. The staff truly deserve great praise for their hospitality and helpfulness. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, impeccably clean, and radiated the classic charm one would expect from a property like Les Crayères. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet the standard expected of a five-star hotel of this caliber. For €100 for two people, we anticipated a refined and varied experience, but the offering was rather limited. Breakfast is not served in buffet style, which makes the selection quite restricted and inflexible. For two guests, the breakfast included two croissants, two pastries, two chocolate breads, and a few pieces of baguette, accompanied by a small bowl of fruit and yogurt per person, plus the option to choose one egg dish. With the bread, only a selection of jams and one small piece of goat cheese per person were provided. As neither of us are fond of sweet breakfast items, our options were very limited. Overall, it felt rather modest and did not match the price charged. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was also somewhat disappointing. On a Sunday morning, only two other tables were occupied, there was no background music, and the room lacked the cozy and relaxed ambiance one would normally expect in a house of this standing. Our advice to the hotel would be to critically review the breakfast concept and perhaps take inspiration from other leading five-star hotels in the region. The current offering detracts from what is otherwise an exceptional experience at Les Crayères. In summary: the staff and rooms are outstanding, but the breakfast clearly remains an area for improvement.

The Charming Mystery of a Château 🏰 Our experience at Domaine Les Crayères was absolutely incredible — a perfect blend of French elegance, history, and warm hospitality. Nestled in Reims, this legendary five-star Relais & Châteaux property truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. 🏰 A Château with Soul Each of the 20 rooms and suites, named after European royalty, radiates timeless charm and understated luxury. The attention to detail is exceptional — from the elegant décor to the indulgent Hermès and Guerlain amenities that make every moment feel special. 🍴 A Gourmand’s Paradise We had the pleasure of dining at both of the Château’s restaurants, and each was a highlight of our stay: • Le Parc ⭐⭐ – The two Michelin-starred restaurant by Chef @christophemoret_ was an unforgettable culinary experience — every dish was art on a plate. • Brasserie Le Jardin – Perfect for a relaxed yet refined lunch, with an open kitchen and a beautiful terrace overlooking the gardens. From start to finish, our time at Domaine Les Crayères was pure magic — impeccable service, exquisite dining, and a setting straight out of a dream. ✨

This was an incredible place to stay for our time in the Champagne region. Location is phenomenal with plenty of cellars and tastings to enjoy nearby in Reims but it was also easy to uber over to Epernay for more! Hotel specific, from the moment we pulled into the gates to our departure, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The terrace off the bar is gorgeous and our room was clean and comfortable, with a terrace of its own! (We splurged on the Ministerial Suite which I would definitely recommend, it was fab.) We had dinner at each of the restaurants in the hotel and both were delicious and impressive experiences, especially at the Michelin starred Le Parc- 10/10 food, service and atmosphere. 110% recommend. We are already planning our next trip to Reims and will absolutely be staying at Domaine Les Crayères again; literally can’t stay anywhere else after this beyond fantastic experience.

We had amazing room! Amazing view. Dinner was not so good as we expected . Michelin restaurant was closed and second one is very simple and not good service. And reception of the hotel unhelpful, bad in English, hard for communication. Never seen before the same kind of awful service. And we were surprised that no one responsible for any request. Room service we’re waiting more than 1 hour. I hope the director soon change and the service as well.

The property is very beautiful and picturesque. However, when paying over $800.00 per night, one would expect the room to be exquisite. Not that we use a minibar in a room but we wanted to use it to store some cheeses and meats during our stay. Upon opening the minbar, it smelled as if something had died in there. It was nauseating. The staff came to clean but it still had a foul smell. Upon returning from being out, we found the privacy blind on the main window had fallen off the support. The area rugs looked old and stained. The carpet in the bedroom was also very thin and stained. The bathroom and shower was very modern, stylish and up to date. We like to walk and enjoy the city’s when in Europe. This location was not convenient for visiting a local coffee shop, a local bar or selection of restaurants by walking. We loved the champagne region and will return, but never to Domaine Les Crayeres.

Restaurant Gabrielle Toit Terrasse is a stylish and modern dining destination that offers elevated cuisine and a seasonal roof terrace. Opened in 2019 by the brothers Philippe and Francois Clement, the restaurant impresses with its ultra-contemporary architecture and stylized decor on the 3rd floor. The rooftop provides a 360-degree view, allowing guests to admire the cathedral from all angles. The cuisine features chic yet accessible signature dishes, while the atmosphere exudes elegance.
The food was beyond beautiful—impeccably tasty and absolutely amazing. We sat with a stunning view of the cathedral. It was one of those experiences you’ll always remember. The staff were more than friendly. We were celebrating my mother-in-law’s birthday, and because of her goddaughter, Gabrielle, she really wanted to buy a plate with that name. One of the waiters initially said, “Oh, that’s not possible…” But later, the manager or owner came over and gifted her a small plate with “Gabrielle” written on it. These kinds of thoughtful gestures stay with a customer forever. It was such a lovely touch. I’ll be telling everyone who visits Reims that this restaurant is an absolute must—almost mandatory! Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful time. The prices are very reasonable for the quality they deliver. Highly recommend them!!!

Very chic restaurant in Reims, we came to celebrate the birthday of my boyfriend. They arranged the best place to see the cathedral of Reims for us. The staffs are friendly as well. Foods are great, especially the seabass with caviar. We definitely recommend people to come with reservations ahead. We booked a week ago for dinner. You can also join their lounge in the second floor after dinner for a cup of coffee.

The food was amazing and the service was top notch. The only thing that would have made it better was to have some light shades over the windows to block the sun. The heat in the restaurant was pretty intense.

Hands down the best Reims restaurant experience of our trip. Great service! Fantastic food!! Extraordinary view!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Exceptional cuisine and service 10/10. I celebrated here on my first trip to Reims and researched 6 restaurants in advance close to Cathedral Notre Dame de Reims. Do not miss the delicious smoked salmon bilinis appetizer followed by crispy duck breast in a honey sauce. Everything here is cooked to perfection. I ordered the cheese platter as a final course which included a generous balsamic salad and local surprise. The manager checked on me twice and created a relaxing atmosphere with an attentive, talented staff. You will want to come again and again. If you come early for a glass of Champagne in the lounge on the second floor before your dinner reservation on the third floor roof top experience, you will be definitely spoiled and have lasting memories. Guests highly recommend this venue for its delectable mussels, exemplified by the scrumptious Leon mussels dish. Maili, an attentive server fluent in English, offers excellent assistance to patrons.
My husband and I went here for dinner and enjoyed every moment of it. The food was delicious, the restaurant was very clean and the staff lovely. Our server, Aurélia was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely return when we next visit France.

Have not dined at a Leon since they rebranded and was pleasantly surprised to discover a pretty varied menu and reasonable prices. My little fried fish were crispy and fresh and the mussels (Curry and classic) were tasty as always. Only the fries could be served hotter (I think they sat around somewhere for a little too long) and I forgot to ask if they were bottomless like they were long ago.

The haddock fritters and chips were tasty. We asked to sit near the children’s play area, it kept the children entertained. The staff were helpful and could speak English.

Everything was great! Servers were very attentive and friendly, menu only in French but the server spoke English and explained some things to us. Tartiflette was so good, the pepper sauce for the steak one of the best I have eaten, steak was exactly medium as we asked. Definitely recommend it!

L’Atelier - Restaurant Bistronomique in Reims offers a modern and simple concept of French cuisine. The restaurant is adorned with contemporary art, creating a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The service is exceptional, and the dishes are described as delicious and refined. While some find the portions to be on the smaller side, others appreciate the gourmet menu for its value and delectable offerings. Guests have praised the prompt service and highlighted that it's a memorable dining experience worth revisiting.
Best restaurant I’ve been to in the region, not a touristic trap at all. Staff are so friendly and thoughtful, you can tell they have a passion for their work. Food is absolutely exquisite, nothing to mention. Highly recommend. Better than the Michelin starred restaurant we went to the night before. Location is amazing and food is 10/10, staff 10/10, location 10/10, I very rarely have such a flawless experience. Had delicious amuse bouches, they even split the staters for us spontaneously in different plates so we didn’t struggle sharing a plate, small gesture but so appreciated and smart of them,

The food was flavourful, with surprising presentations! Waiters were sympathetic and attentive. To speak about the food itself, I found it elaborated and delicious, but I think — for the “onglet de veau” — the portions could be reviewed, especially for the sweet potatoes, regardless of the prices.

Loved this restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient despite it being full on a Saturday night. I'd suggest booking. There were several menus to choose from. A la carte and the 39 euro Prix fix, the 59 euro ser menu and the 85 euro tasting menu. All nine members of our party found something delicious and the restaurant catered a dairy intolerance. It's about 10 mins walk from the town centre of Reims so you'll see the less touristy side of town. The photos are lentil soup, beef and pear crumble and a Madeleine. Enjoy!

Today we tried what I would call one of the little gems in Reims. The chef truly brought magic to our table for dinner tonight. We got offered some of the best freshly sliced cured ham on the house. Soon after my croque de Reims with truffle starter blew my mind. The flavors were dancing in my mouth. Such pleasure!!!! My Pluma ham main was perfection on a plate. Finally the dessert was certainly the best orange tarte I have eaten in France. The service was on point and everyone was so sweet and helpful. It was a pleasure to dine at au petit comptoir this evening. Very simply put, this restaurant fulfills your senses without being heavy on your pocket. A must try while in Reims.

A brilliant restaurant in Place Drouet d’Erlon. Lots of outdoor seating and two levels indoors. It is right near the statue and fountain with great views of the rest of the Place. Easy French dinner with very informal setting and relaxed atmosphere. Food was really good, especially the brisket and the ribs. Fries were excellent. The washrooms were clean and well stocked. Waitstaff was friendly, attentive and we were able to order order in English. We had the Brisket and quinoa burger which both came with fries. The brisket was tender and melted in your mouth. Quinoa burger had half an avocado lettuce and tomato, delish.

Just okay really, I don’t know who’s writing these reviews but I found the mushroom pasta lacking flavor, like zero seasoning and the brisket was tender but the sauce was very run-of-the mill. If you’re looking for a quintessential French bistro, look somewhere else.

I had a pleasant experience at this charming local spot. The atmosphere felt authentic, and the service was exceptional—attentive and welcoming throughout. The food was generally good; however, I found the use of industrial-style crispy fried onions in both of my dishes unnecessary, as it detracted slightly from the overall freshness and originality of the meals.

Version Originale is an upscale restaurant located in the heart of Reims, offering classic cuisine in an elegant setting. The stone-lined dining room provides a sophisticated atmosphere, and there are also outdoor tables for al fresco dining. Created in 2002 by chef Christophe Mertes, this charming establishment is the culmination of his culinary journey. The menu changes frequently to incorporate new creations, ensuring a fresh and innovative dining experience.
I was visiting Reims from NYC and we have some very good food there. Version Originale is definitely up there. The dinner was actually very reasonable priced (the only reason our group of three was over €200 was because we ordered a €90 champagne bottle but you have to when you’re in the home of champagne). I ordered this beef dish in a soy broth as an appetizer which was my favorite dish of the night. It really reminded me of pho but with a sharper, deeper flavor. Then I ordered the lamb which was also delicious. I was very surprised with the portions as in other fixed menu restaurants, the mains were slightly smaller. It had a good amount of vegetables and two large pieces lamb. Then for dessert I had this banana spring roll with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The banana spring roll wasn’t too sweet but when paired with the ice cream and chocolate it was 👌🏽. For the table we had the escargot and fries. Those were also very good. The escargot was genuinely one of the best I’ve had. The texture was perfect and great to share. I will say I would’ve liked the fries to be slightly crispier but that’s because I prefer very well done fries. The constant bread for the table was also delicious and essential in mopping up all the sauces. I would highly recommend this place for a casual night out with a small group of friends or date night as it’s walking distance from shopping areas and bars

Great gourmet food with a French touch. Ideal for an intimate dinner. The champagne selection was incredible. I ordered the filet mignon which was very good but still a little bit chewy. The crab appetizer was amazing and so was the fruit sorbet dessert.

Happened upon this restaurant from a Google search and we were thrilled that we booked for Friday evening. The menu was well balanced with a choice of 4 started, mains and desserts. The price of 48euros for all 3 was fantastic value. We all chose different dishes and all had food envy as they were each delightfully presented. They were also all delicious. The staff werevery friendly. A real find

We were served a great glass of champagne, accompanied by complimentary bread and radish. We then had the chef's menu, which is great value! A glass of white wine, chosen perfectly by the waiter to go with our main dish was delicious. The food was special, waiting staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Cosy seating on the front terrace!

Stopped here as most all other restaurants were closed for the week. It would have been better that they were , too. Overpriced and inadequate food, steaks undercooked after waiting 45 minutes to be served. Plenty of servers busy talking with their friends on the terrace while we sat without water or bread. No effort made to compensate for this fiasco. 76 € for three horrible lunches. Walk on by this place.

We LOVE Casa d’Urso!! We were here three years ago when it first opened and it was GREAT! Now we’re back in Reims and it took us two days to find it again. Just as good as we remembered. Already have reservation to return again!!

I visited Reims with my mom and we found this lovely Italian restaurant close to the cathedral. We have never tasted such wonderful Italian food outside of Italy and it was a pleasure to return there to eat during our stay. Stéphanie and her team are welcoming and we can highly recommend the wonderful cuisine!

Pizzeria L'Antica is a great place for a slice or two of pizza. The crust is crispy and the toppings are creative and delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has great ratings, which makes it one of the best places to get a pizza in town.
Love the mushroom and Julia pizza very much! Strong recommend

Ordered the Chorizo and Speck Pizzas – both very tasty, especially the Chorizo. Portions were generous and prices fair. Staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was cozy with mostly locals, a good sign. Only downside was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Overall, recommend it!
Nicole K — Google review
Dirty place and bathroom, slow service, very heavy pizza dough not easily digestible. Found a thread (!) on my pizza and the spicy oil looked not edible. I would not recommend this place. We only went because they have a vegan pizza (no vegan mozzarella, just cold vegetables on top of the pizza base) and the pizza was therefore cold.
Giuliana F — Google review
A nice pizza restaurant with their classic pizza menu expanded to include some local specialities like raclette or montagnarde. My favourite was their buratta salad: it’s huge and your best choice if you don’t fancy a pizza. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Maria G — Google review
Boy do these people know how to make a good pizza? Yummy thin base with soft yet crispy edges and super yummy toppings. Grab one and eat it looking at the Cathedral sat on the rasied slabs - just perfect on a summers evening. Definately one of the best pizza's in France.
Colin H — Google review
I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Guys were friendly and cute little pizzeria. Good dough though mine could have been cooked a bit longer. Tasty but I asked for extra sauce and they didn't seem to hear me. Not bad Napolitan pizza for France!

Nice place for a quick meal if you like pizza. Quite a lot of choice and you can have tomato sauce, creamy or eggplant as a base sauce. Just whatch out if you do not like your pizza base with a tick side...

Great rustic pizza. The dough/bread is really good. Decent size to share if you are stoping by for a snack. Once you order the pizza is ready within 5min ish. I would really recommend this place.

The Indian restaurant Un Indien dans la ville offers both vegan and vegetarian options, which was an unknown word to them. The meals consisted of items like bangan bartha (a savory dry-flavored chicken dish), sagdahl (spicy lentil soup), and chapati (a type of bread).
Excellent food, with lots of vegetarian options. We had the Paneer Korma and the Bharta, with rice and a naan. Plenty of food for two. The waiter was amazing and so was the rest of the staff. Highly recommended!

Great food! The mango lassi was the freshest I’ve ever had, full of flavor and creamy. We had a variety of vegetarian dishes and all of them were excellent. The rice was fluffy and full of flavor, including a hint of cardamom. The service was also really good, I owner was so happy when she talked about her food. All and all a real recommendation.

Les Cornichons, situated in the heart of Reims, is a charming restaurant with a convivial atmosphere that offers a delightful traditional French dining experience. The owners are happy to share the origin of the "Cornichon Remois" nickname while serving delectable dishes. The menu features mouth-watering burgers, fresh seafood ceviches, and Spanish ham with chorizo chips and veggie gratin. The restaurant's unique 70s-inspired decor adds to its quirky charm.
Yummy French food, good variety of drinks and excellent and friendly service. Don’t miss it if you visit Reims.
The G — Google review
The restaurant is more spacious than it looks from the outside. The menu has a small selection of dishes, but it's quite good. However, there's a kid's menu, but no high chair for children 😔
Azur — Google review
The hostess is one of the least friendly person you can have. She feels entitled to change your order that it suits her. She creates a hostile environment where you feel like you have to eat as quickly as possible so she can reuse your table quickly. Also changed our bill at the end! Make sure you don’t get scammed in this place!!!!!
Floris W — Google review
One of the rudest, most unpleasant dining experiences I’ve ever had. The waitress was shockingly hostile—especially toward non-French speakers. We felt completely unwelcome from the start. Food was forgettable, but the service was unforgivable. Avoid this place at all costs.
Olivier M — Google review
Relaxed, friendly, and great food! This place focuses on the beef, from a great burger, to steak tartare with gogonzola and walnuts! We visited on a Sat evening, and they got us a table despite being fully booked! Would happily visit again!

Great discovery. Cute typical French restaurant in a very cool area of Reims. Nice decoration with movie seats. Terrasse outside. We had a burger a la franchise! Excellent (bread replaced by potato rosties and eggs). Cafe gourmand to finish.

Small gem in the center of Reims, at the corner of quiet streets. Good cuisine with mostly fresh produce and what distinguish this place is the wine menu designed by a young but passionate sommelier, definitely worth a visit, I will personally be back.

Bistrot du Forum in Reims is a gem found after facing limited food options and unfriendly locals. The welcoming staff and self-deprecating humor created a cozy atmosphere, making visitors feel at home. The classic steak tartare was a hit, accompanied by enthusiastic and attentive service. Guests enjoyed great wine and Bavette Steak with fries while soaking in the lively square ambiance. The heated terrace provided an enjoyable experience even in October, offering good quality food at reasonable prices.
We came across the place by chance while walking around downtown. We sat down at the outdoor tables in the square. The waiter was very nice and helpful. He immediately opened the umbrella for us. The food we chose was delicious and tasty.

Nice restaurant for a drink and some food. It is placed on a cozy square with many other restaurants. The staff was very friendly. The food was ok. The buratta we received with our pasta was stiff and did not taste too well. The burger was a nice dish. There are many nice wines to choose from and the staff is happy to help you pick. Overal this is a nice place to sit at a cozy square.

In a cozy and minimalist setting, Samjia takes you on a culinary journey to Thailand, offering delicate flavors and exquisite presentation. For those with sensitive palates, the beautifully served pad thai is a delicious choice. The more adventurous can opt for various levels of spiciness in different curries. However, caution is advised as Thai cuisine tends to be highly seasoned.
Delicious thai food! On request they offer vegetarian dishes🥘The portions however are to small for the price. Vegetarian option is the same price as with meat and little veggie on the plate :/ No tofu is available. We are 2024!!! Staff very nice and location stylish.

Their food were salty for us and my husband had problems of their food that midnight and next morning, unfortunately. We were unlucky to ate at this Thai’s food. 🥲. They served us 3 plates at the same time( the third plate just after 3 minutes of 2 before) while we are 2 person and at that time there were only 3 tables including us.

Food amazing, I really loved it. Service was mixed - quite strange and over attentive service (not sure if our particular waitress was new maybe) but the others were super and were also happy for us to take away our remaining food - would definitely try this place for a 'fine dining' Thai meal - with nice wine too!

Highly recommend! Authentic Thai food...including the spicy level!😁 Hard to find such place outside of Thailand these days! It's like fine dining so don't mind paying for decor (tastefully done), good food & food presentation! All dishes we ordered were yummy😋 (2 menu set dinners w. appetizer samplers, duck curry & shrimp basil) + desserts (Thai Flan & Mango sticky rice)! Kids got the Tom Yum soups + chicken curry & pad thai! Plenty of food for all to share...we were stuffed!😅 Rose recommended by boss was very good too! 👍 We went when they opened w/o reservations & had no problem getting a table but the place fills up quickly so make a reservation if you can!😃

Amazing food and service. English speakers: fear not. They have an English menu. Highly recommend making a reservation or risk not having a table. The Continental Restaurant offers an inventive presentation of French cuisine within an elegant, gray-toned space located in a 19th-century mansion. It is known for its warm atmosphere and delicious meals, with 80% of the menu consisting of gluten-free options. The staff is attentive and willing to assist in identifying suitable choices for diners with specific dietary requirements. Additionally, the restaurant underwent a complete renovation in 2018, offering not only a refined dining experience but also comfortable lodging options and impressive amenities.
The Continental Restaurant gets some mixed reviews on service (I checked), however the service was friendly & very keen to please the customer. I enjoyed a great meal of lobster, lamb shoulder & cheese.

Beautiful restaurant with a semi-formal vibe. The food was satisfactory. We were given large portions of perfectly cooked meat. The plating and garnish could use more finesse, so maybe spend more at a higher-end place for a special occasion. The staff were very pleasant and kind. It takes time to get their attention but that's not much of a problem if you have good company and are not in a hurry. Great for a friends' night out.

Very nice presentation, and the quality was very high. We got in last minute as we had been traveling all day, just wanted a good meal. Little did we know we were about to have one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommend, had dinner and breakfast next 2 days. One of the BEST Continental breakfast I've had.

Restaurant is elegant but not posh, personnel professional and kind, always at disposal. You see a lot of attention to details both for the furniture and service. We had 2 dinners, one of which was Christmas dinner, food was awesome, we tried the incontournables and a menu and we were enthusiastic. Plates are beautiful, portions are balanced a for what we ate (oand drank) pricing was absolutely correct. P.s. we were guests of the hotels with our kids, sorry for the crumbs on the pictures 😂

Nice place to sit for a drink or dinner. It could be cleaner; our table was wobbly and the wall next to us was dirty.

Definitely a go-to-event restaurant. Service, decoration and the vibe are so good that dining experience is nothing but wonderful. After exploring the city, we passed by and were attracted by the hotel standing high on the elevated ground floor, distancing itself from busy street. Servants with formal dress are welcoming beside entrance. We felt at home. The course menu is value for the money and good, though not outstanding but understandable. In general, we recommend it and like to come back if we are in this city.

Went here with the family. Was looking for a quite table but we were placed next to the bustling bar, which was nicely packed with people enjoying happy hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful and took us to a quieter part of the restaurant. We enjoyed dinner there and felt very welcome thanks to the staff.

Service folks are learning, polite but it does take a while to get their attention and they drop utensils and such. The food is great, and the 4 really is for the food. The perfect egg with morels had the perfect texture and salinity. The smoked rosemary sea bream was also fantastic. Tender flesh with crispy skin. Delish!

Del Arte is a delightful dining option that may not have been the first choice for many, but it certainly leaves a lasting impression. Located conveniently near the Ibis hotel, this restaurant offers quick seating and attentive service from friendly staff who are eager to ensure you have a great experience. Guests rave about the delicious food, which is both beautifully prepared and reasonably priced—especially with an exclusive discount for Ibis patrons.
Del Arte wasn’t our first choice among the restaurants close to the Ibis hotel, but as the other places were full (Saturday night) we gave it a try. We were seated quickly, our order was taken as soon as we were ready and the service was always friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and great value for money, especially with the discount we received as guests of the Ibis hotel. We will certainly be back here the next time we stay in the area.

Avoid at all costs. In all honesty though they did do something, they proved to me that it is possible to make even pizza terrible. A food that is essentially bread with some cheese on top. Positives - Pepsi was average. Waiter was friendly. Negatives - Everything else. The first time my pizza came out the egg in the middle was 99% raw, and I have never seen the top of a pizza look so wet. I asked to have it looked at and they took it away and maybe showed it to the oven again because when it came back the middle of the pizza was still raw. There was probably 2 inches of edible pizza around the edge but the middle was almost raw dough and mostly raw egg that turned the whole thing into a wet pizza paste. Luckily I was hungry from a 7 hour drive so I was too embarrassed and hungry to send it back again. I thought, I haven’t taken enough risks lately and my bowel movements have maybe even been a little too hard. So I decided to eat the raw egg and raw dough. Fingers crossed. Avoid if you want to eat cooked food. Recommend if you like pizza soup and fancy living dangerously.

I have had the pomodoro pasta and some red fruit tea, (cost came out to 11.5 eur wich is pretty good) while the staff did not speak perfect english they handled the situation very vell even when we were in a large group. The pasta was very good, even though I thought it needed a bit more salt it was wery sweet and well coocked. The tea was of high quality and tasted good, importantly they actualy got hot water instead of luke warm like a lot of other restaurants, they even gave me a little chocolato bonbon. Overall good service and prices the place looked nice and the food and drinks was good. 4.75/5 only because I do think that salt and peper shaker are better than packets for enviromental reasons, they made up for it with using pasta straws instead of paper or plastick.

This was a lovely restaurant, we'd had a long drive to Reims, were tired and hungry. We received a lovely welcome, were served beautiful food by a very attentive and helpful waitress. The food was cooked beautifully, (one of us had chicken the other Bolognaise), it tasted wonderful and the whole experience made the end of our day, and our holiday, memorable. Will be on our list of definite places to go next time we're in Reims. Bravo!

We stopped at the Ibis on our way skiing. This restaurant was in walkable range and hotel offered a discount. The place was popular as it is close to a cinema, but the tables were too close together and all our pizzas were soggy. The egg in mine was undercooked. I was amazed that so many French were happy with such poor quality and bland food. Looks like a French franchise, so I will be avoiding it in other French cities. I advise anyone to do the same.
Patrick G — Google review
We stopped over the road at the ibis and was recommended this restaurant as a good place to eat and being a ibis resident 20% off your bill. Service was brilliant from the young man who spoke very good English. We ordered a bottle of prosseco which was really good. I had a calzone (not on menu but will make it if asked) my wife had the hake, both were excellent. For sweet I had a chocolate moose which again was tasty. Saying that I wished we would of ordered the massive ice cream to share as it look amazing when the table behind ordered it. All in all fantastic value for money only €46 for two main, two sweet and a bottle of prosseco.and great service we will definitely return.
