Arrived for our lunch break for the opening time, we received a friendly welcome and taken to a table. The decor is a pleasant mixture of industrial style with carefully selected far-eastern objects. The low ambient light along with the beautiful asian murals gives somehow an atmosphere that reminded me a bit of Blade Runner and the menu we had previously studied from home when planning our journey and lunch stops, was promising. So we ordered 2 Thai salads which were served in individual stone pestle and mortars. Those were deliciously fragrant and refreshing. Our main dishes were a Ramen Curry and a Yellow Chicken Curry, both were equally tasty. The portions were generous and perfect for our appetites. We decided for 2 Estrella Galicia beers to nicely complement our lunch. Service was attentive and friendly mixing Spanish and English. We left happy and relaxed after settling our bill for 51.50 euros. A great spot that we recommend. We parked for free near the Plaza del Milenio and walked to the restaurant.

First off, the staff is friendly and accommodating. We arrived with just an hour before the kitchen closed and they served us with a smile, nonetheless. The restaurant is spacious and coated with a unique feel of gothic metal and Mexican cantina; it’s like if Edwards Scissorhands opened a restaurant. Second, and the main issue. The food was not my favorite. We ordered the Duck and Rice along with the Chicken Pad Thai. Both just had a very unique and unwelcome taste. The duck was good but extremely fatty, and the rice was the best part. The Pad Thai was weird all around. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce was not quite right for Pad Thai flavoring. Overall, this is an Asian fusion restaurant, so I understand the uniqueness of the food. However, it’s not something I prefer.

The decoration in the restaurant is really nice. We tried different cocktails and all kind of Asian food from Chinese to Thai and Japanese. Of course the food is a little bit localized but overall is a good taste of different Asian dishes. We enjoyed the evening. The quality of the food it was good. The location is in downtown so very accesible.

Restaurante Gran Muralla is a typical looking Chinese restaurant in Europe. The food was good and the staff was pleasant. I was a bit disappointed with the Won-Ton soup because I prefer a different flavor version of this soup. I would return to the restaurant in the future.

Good sized portions for sure, and prices are not bad. Food comes along very quickly too. The place needs to be more Chinese looking. Lacks the real atmosphere.

Absolute disappointment. 'Chinese Salad' is actually lettuce, carrot and cheap ham drowning in a watery dressing. Pork with leeks and mushrooms is just those 3 things fried together and covered in soy sauce. Dessert was a cheap supermarket chocolate mousse. Portions were small. €7.50 was too expensive for this. Only good thing was the can of Fanta.

Service was mediocre even though there were only 7 people in total in the place. The atmosphere was like being in a staff canteen where no one speaks to each other, some quiet oriental background music would help.

Great place for good affordable Chinese food in the area. Really enjoyed the shrimp and noodles as well as the chicken and peppers dish. Rice is not included with the dishes so you'll have to add on some from the extras section. Service was good and the prices are very reasonable if you're looking for a casual restaurant in the area.

The quality of the food was bad and the two chicken dishes we ordered were full of tendons, bones and gristle; not a nice experience.
